- 0:41Speaker 2: percent American made the Warrior, Wayne Alan Roots.
- 0:56Speaker 3: All right, you we go, Ladies and gentlemen.
- 0:58Speaker 4: Welcome to Friday, the thirteenth of September twenty twenty four.
- 1:02Speaker 4: My name is Lee Elsie, and on these Fridays, Wayne
- 1:05Speaker 4: Allen Root takes an extra hour to get all fired
- 1:08Speaker 4: up and ready to rock and roll. He'll be here
- 1:10Speaker 4: in exactly sixty minutes. Thank the boys up in Minnesota
- 1:13Speaker 4: pushing the buttons and making it go. Let me start
- 1:16Speaker 4: by bringing in I'm gonna do something we've never done.
- 1:18Speaker 4: You gonna have him on as the first guest, and
- 1:20Speaker 4: then as the last guest. We'll bookend the Great Colonel
- 1:23Speaker 4: Rob Simmons, who's here with us in the studio and
- 1:24Speaker 4: I want to ask him right off the bat, who
- 1:27Speaker 4: do you think won the debate on Tuesday night?
- 1:30Speaker 5: She came in better than expected and he came in worse.
- 1:34Speaker 5: But what does it really mean? Was there a winner?
- 1:37Speaker 3: Who won?
- 1:38Speaker 5: Of the two of them?
- 1:39Speaker 3: Who won? Well, we talked about this off.
- 1:42Speaker 5: Yeah, that's a draw probably, yeah, zero zero? Or are
- 1:45Speaker 5: you one one or two?
- 1:46Speaker 2: Two?
- 1:47Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 1:47Speaker 5: Okay? Who lost?
- 1:48Speaker 3: America?
- 1:49Speaker 5: America? Well that's what I said. Yeah, I mean I've
- 1:53Speaker 5: done a lot. I've done lots and lots of debates. Yeah,
- 1:56Speaker 5: I've never done a debate like she did, the debate
- 2:00Speaker 5: where it's all you know, a'm enjoy lemon joy JOI
- 2:03Speaker 5: joy joey, because that's bs. I mean, you don't elect
- 2:08Speaker 5: somebody just to make you feel good. You elect somebody
- 2:12Speaker 5: to address issues that they describe as troublesome and that
- 2:16Speaker 5: you connect to that description. There is a problem here
- 2:21Speaker 5: that we have to fix, and I will fix it.
- 2:24Speaker 5: I will do it for you. I won't make you comfy,
- 2:27Speaker 5: I won't give you everything you want, but I will
- 2:30Speaker 5: try to shape the government and shape policy to address
- 2:33Speaker 5: the issues that you think are important. If you are
- 2:36Speaker 5: a veteran and you feel you're not getting Try Care
- 2:39Speaker 5: for Life, which was the case when I ran for Congress,
- 2:42Speaker 5: I will promise you that I will work for Try
- 2:44Speaker 5: Care for Life. And what I told the audience when
- 2:47Speaker 5: John McCain came up to go out in New London
- 2:50Speaker 5: three or four days before the election. If I don't
- 2:53Speaker 5: get you Try Care for Life in my first two
- 2:55Speaker 5: years in Congress, I will not run for reelection. John
- 2:59Speaker 5: McCain turned and looked at me like, oh did he
- 3:02Speaker 5: say that? And my staff and the audience they're going,
- 3:06Speaker 5: oh my god, they're covering their head. But you know what,
- 3:10Speaker 5: we did it.
- 3:10Speaker 3: There you go, we did it.
- 3:12Speaker 5: We got Trycare for Life back for veterans, and we
- 3:15Speaker 5: got money back for veterans. And I said, I will
- 3:17Speaker 5: serve on the Veterans Affairs Committee. And I did serve
- 3:19Speaker 5: on the Veterans Affairs Committee, and I was the chairman
- 3:22Speaker 5: of the Veterans Health Subcommittee.
- 3:24Speaker 3: How about that? Pretty good?
- 3:25Speaker 5: Pretty good?
- 3:25Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 3:26Speaker 5: And I plused up the veterans' health care money by
- 3:28Speaker 5: one point six billion dollars, which the Republicans didn't like.
- 3:32Speaker 5: And so the next time around, they took away my gavel,
- 3:36Speaker 5: they pulled me off the committee, they said, he's too
- 3:39Speaker 5: he's helping these damn veterans too much. But that's what
- 3:42Speaker 5: you do. You you identify a problem, you talk about
- 3:46Speaker 5: the problem, you put yourself in a situation of being
- 3:49Speaker 5: a solution to the problem, and then you go and
- 3:52Speaker 5: fix it. All right, that's what you do. Right now,
- 3:54Speaker 5: let's look at the debate. I'll take it. I'll take
- 3:58Speaker 5: my lead from an article in the New York Post
- 4:01Speaker 5: on Tuesday, September tenth. And it's a picture, obviously doctored
- 4:07Speaker 5: up a vice president Harris, Yes, blindfold on with a
- 4:12Speaker 5: blindfold one and what is she holding in her hands? Darts?
- 4:17Speaker 5: And then she's shooting the darts at the dartboard. Now,
- 4:21Speaker 5: I'm going to sort of talk about some of the
- 4:25Speaker 5: issues on the dart board, and you're going to tell
- 4:28Speaker 5: me whether, following the debate, you now have a clear
- 4:33Speaker 5: picture of where she stands. Fair enough, all right, there's
- 4:36Speaker 5: a bunch of yellow post its on the dark board.
- 4:40Speaker 5: This one says border wall. No, I have no idea
- 4:44Speaker 5: or border wall yes, no, no, no.
- 4:48Speaker 3: She missed the mark. She will wait a minute.
- 4:51Speaker 5: She was against the border wall, no, but now she's
- 4:54Speaker 5: for the border wall. And Timmy walls, said, I will
- 4:57Speaker 5: buy a ladder company. If the wall is twenty feet tall,
- 5:02Speaker 5: I'll buy a ladder company that makes twenty five foot ladders.
- 5:05Speaker 5: Is he for the wall or against the wall?
- 5:08Speaker 3: Against them?
- 5:09Speaker 5: Against the wall? Now she says she's for the wall.
- 5:12Speaker 5: But has she been for the wall?
- 5:14Speaker 3: No?
- 5:14Speaker 5: She hasn't. No, so there seems to be a little disclarity.
- 5:18Speaker 5: There is that? Am I correct?
- 5:19Speaker 3: I think it's fair?
- 5:20Speaker 5: Okay, how about for racking? Here's another one for racking. Fracking? Yes,
- 5:26Speaker 5: we're fracking. No okay, Well she's been against fracking, sure,
- 5:30Speaker 5: but now she's four fracking, so you would say, yes,
- 5:33Speaker 5: she's four fracking.
- 5:34Speaker 4: Well you would probably think that that's the l which
- 5:36Speaker 4: you think of the latest thing.
- 5:38Speaker 5: But that's words out of her mouth, Lee, And what
- 5:41Speaker 5: are the other words out of her mouth?
- 5:43Speaker 3: No?
- 5:43Speaker 5: No, says yes. No, So you now have a clear
- 5:46Speaker 5: idea where she is on fracking?
- 5:47Speaker 3: Of course, not no, you don't, we have no idea.
- 5:50Speaker 5: Well wait a minute, you listen to the debate.
- 5:51Speaker 3: I did.
- 5:52Speaker 5: Yeah, but you I guess you don't believe her?
- 5:54Speaker 3: Well how can you?
- 5:55Speaker 5: Well, how can you be? Okay, I have a green
- 5:56Speaker 5: new deal. Here's another new Deal, the Green New What
- 6:01Speaker 5: is the Green New Deal? Could you explain it to
- 6:03Speaker 5: me in one sentence or less?
- 6:05Speaker 3: Probably not less?
- 6:07Speaker 5: Could you could you give me some policy issues relative
- 6:10Speaker 5: to the Green New Deal.
- 6:11Speaker 4: It's a complex set of ideals to get rid of
- 6:15Speaker 4: carbon emissions.
- 6:15Speaker 5: Is that it's kind of like a visionary Yes, of
- 6:18Speaker 5: course it kind of. Roosevelt did the New Deal, a
- 6:21Speaker 5: new deal, which some would say was a screw deal
- 6:24Speaker 5: because it was based on communism, based on getting the
- 6:27Speaker 5: government into many aspects of your life. Sure, so, Roosevelt's
- 6:31Speaker 5: screw deal. Now it's a green screw deal. You're getting screwed.
- 6:35Speaker 5: How's your how's your ever source? Build these days?
- 6:38Speaker 2: Lead?
- 6:38Speaker 5: Why does it stinkly?
- 6:39Speaker 1: Well?
- 6:39Speaker 3: Because they're going green.
- 6:41Speaker 5: Because of the Green New Deal?
- 6:42Speaker 3: That's correct.
- 6:42Speaker 5: Do you have an electric car? No, but you don't
- 6:45Speaker 5: though you don't need an EV station? Right, I don't
- 6:48Speaker 5: need you don't need it. No, but you're paying for
- 6:50Speaker 5: I am in your electric bill?
- 6:52Speaker 3: I sure am?
- 6:52Speaker 5: Did you pay your bill during COVID? You're sure that
- 6:55Speaker 5: other people?
- 6:56Speaker 3: Some people did not know?
- 6:57Speaker 5: And what how do we deal the people that did
- 7:00Speaker 5: have they turned off the power?
- 7:01Speaker 3: They did not?
- 7:02Speaker 5: Did they say we're going to turn it off for
- 7:03Speaker 5: several hours of the day. They did not because you
- 7:05Speaker 5: haven't paid.
- 7:06Speaker 3: They did not.
- 7:06Speaker 5: Who's paying for their bill? And you are, that's right?
- 7:09Speaker 5: And who set that up? The Democrats? And what's his name?
- 7:14Speaker 5: Who's the good Lamar? The billionaire? Does he worry about
- 7:17Speaker 5: his bill? No, he's busy cutting the trees down in
- 7:20Speaker 5: the backyard. He's more interested than that his bill. He
- 7:24Speaker 5: probably has a clerk that does his bill, so he
- 7:26Speaker 5: has no idea when the bill is out. But regular
- 7:29Speaker 5: people like you and me give a damn.
- 7:31Speaker 3: That's right.
- 7:31Speaker 5: And I called him up. I call him up. I
- 7:34Speaker 5: talked to Sasha, Sasha in Texas. She's the ever source girl. Sasha,
- 7:39Speaker 5: I don't blame you, but you know what, I am
- 7:41Speaker 5: really angry over this bill good And I told her
- 7:44Speaker 5: why and she says, well, I agree with you, but
- 7:47Speaker 5: I can't do a thing about it. I said, here's
- 7:48Speaker 5: what you can do about it. I'm calling I'm telling you,
- 7:52Speaker 5: I'm angry. I'm telling you I don't want to pay
- 7:54Speaker 5: this bill. I'm telling you getting screwed here over one
- 7:56Speaker 5: hundred and eleven dollars added to my bill for stuff
- 7:58Speaker 5: I don't need and I don't want, so somebody else
- 8:01Speaker 5: gets a free ride off of me. You mark it down,
- 8:04Speaker 5: You tell your boss that Colonel Simmons is mad as hell.
- 8:08Speaker 3: Okay, so that's good.
- 8:10Speaker 5: Do you think she.
- 8:10Speaker 1: Did might have?
- 8:12Speaker 5: Might have? So here we are. Let's do a few more.
- 8:15Speaker 5: How about defunding the police? Is she for defunding the
- 8:18Speaker 5: police or against it? Well, she used to be against you.
- 8:21Speaker 3: Yeah, she used to be four.
- 8:22Speaker 5: She used to be four. Yeah, that's right. Now she's
- 8:24Speaker 5: against confusing Yeah, and then how about how about private
- 8:29Speaker 5: health insurance? Does she want you to have it? I
- 8:31Speaker 5: have private health insurance? Do you have private health all?
- 8:33Speaker 3: Yeah? Through here?
- 8:34Speaker 5: Yeah sure, okay, so but I pay for it? Yeah,
- 8:36Speaker 5: just she want to get rid of it of course.
- 8:38Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 8:38Speaker 5: If you have Medicare for all, it's really Medicare for nobody.
- 8:42Speaker 5: Well that's what it means, Medicare for all. You know,
- 8:45Speaker 5: you have a house, your neighbors have a house. But
- 8:48Speaker 5: there's probably some people in your town that don't have
- 8:50Speaker 5: a house. So what if the government comes in with
- 8:53Speaker 5: a policy houses for all. Everyone has a house, are
- 8:56Speaker 5: you still going to have have a house? Might not
- 8:58Speaker 5: be as big, or maybe you share it with somebody.
- 9:01Speaker 5: Maybe there's a trailer on your property.
- 9:03Speaker 3: I like that.
- 9:04Speaker 5: Yeah, with a bunch of people, you know, eat ducks
- 9:07Speaker 5: and dogs and cats. You got to lock up your pets.
- 9:10Speaker 5: You know what's for dinner tonight? Roast cat? Yeah?
- 9:16Speaker 3: Yeah, So what's happening?
- 9:18Speaker 5: Well, that's what they say. I saw video, but it's unsubstantiated.
- 9:22Speaker 5: You know, it's like years ago the Vietnamese boat people
- 9:25Speaker 5: in San Francisco were netting the ducks in the Golden
- 9:28Speaker 5: Gate Park. They're netting them and taking them home, but
- 9:31Speaker 5: they want a pet. Where them home because they want
- 9:33Speaker 5: they like ducks, that they have pet ducks. No, No,
- 9:36Speaker 5: they're that's right, a duck in every pot. So so
- 9:40Speaker 5: when I look at the dartboard, I'm asking myself, Lee,
- 9:44Speaker 5: what do I know? And what do you know now
- 9:47Speaker 5: that you did not know before the debate about Kamala
- 9:49Speaker 5: Harris and Trump? What did you What did you learn
- 9:52Speaker 5: from either one of them? You didn't know before?
- 9:54Speaker 3: Nothing?
- 9:55Speaker 5: Nothing, okay, And she didn't clarify her position on the
- 9:58Speaker 5: issues because she basically lied about Okay, have you changed
- 10:02Speaker 5: your mind on anything based on the debate?
- 10:05Speaker 3: I have not.
- 10:06Speaker 5: Do you feel that your listeners have have come in
- 10:08Speaker 5: and said, how many of them said, Lee, I was
- 10:11Speaker 5: always for Trump, but I listened to the debate. It's over.
- 10:15Speaker 5: I'm not with him anymore. I've gone to the other side.
- 10:17Speaker 5: How many said that? Not one, not a single one.
- 10:19Speaker 5: So they're disappointed, but they haven't walked away.
- 10:22Speaker 3: Correct.
- 10:22Speaker 5: How many Kamala fans are now going yippy yippy yippy.
- 10:26Speaker 5: I'm still a Kamala fan. They're probably the same as
- 10:30Speaker 5: same sec so that kind of makes it a wash.
- 10:32Speaker 5: But here's here's some variables that you have to factor in. Okay.
- 10:37Speaker 5: Variable number one Taylor Swift. Taylor Swift has come out
- 10:41Speaker 5: in support of Kamala. Okay, does that change your mind?
- 10:44Speaker 3: Doesn't change my mind?
- 10:45Speaker 5: Does it change the mind of your listeners?
- 10:47Speaker 3: Not my listeners?
- 10:48Speaker 5: No? But whose mind? Does it change?
- 10:50Speaker 3: It might change it might It might energize.
- 10:53Speaker 5: Her, But I said, change mind, won't change mind? No,
- 10:56Speaker 5: it might energize her fans, Yes, but her fans are
- 11:00Speaker 5: probably for Kamala anyway.
- 11:02Speaker 3: Probably are y.
- 11:03Speaker 5: So how about RFK Junior. Does that make a difference?
- 11:06Speaker 3: I think it does make a difference.
- 11:07Speaker 5: I think it does too. Yeah, the format was no good.
- 11:10Speaker 5: The moderators were no good. There's no fact checking, no
- 11:13Speaker 5: follow up. The management of debate was terrible, but we
- 11:17Speaker 5: expected all of that.
- 11:18Speaker 2: Right.
- 11:18Speaker 5: I've been through that myself. I've been through debates that
- 11:22Speaker 5: aren't fair online with radio hosts that aren't fair. TV
- 11:27Speaker 5: that's not fair. I've been into editorial boards that aren't fair.
- 11:30Speaker 5: It's none of it's fair. So get used to it.
- 11:33Speaker 3: Sure, come, So I got to jump in because we're
- 11:36Speaker 3: out of time. Colonel Rob Simmons, former Congressman.
- 11:38Speaker 4: We're actually going to bring him back at the end
- 11:40Speaker 4: of the show to tackle something else in between.
- 11:43Speaker 3: We've got a lot to get to.
- 11:44Speaker 4: My name is Lee ELTI filling in here the first

- 14:53Speaker 3: All right, welcome back Talk Media Network. My name is
- 14:56Speaker 3: Lee Elsie.
- 14:56Speaker 4: I gotta spend a little time talking about immigration here.
- 15:01Speaker 4: Migrant families received four thousand dollars in grants to aid
- 15:05Speaker 4: in transition out of the New York City shelters. Folks
- 15:08Speaker 4: migrate to this country, some good, some bad. The sheer
- 15:13Speaker 4: volume of people who have come here have caused cataclysmic
- 15:16Speaker 4: results in these big cities and New York City now
- 15:20Speaker 4: has launched a pilot program to help migrants transition out
- 15:24Speaker 4: of the city shelters by giving them four thousand dollars
- 15:31Speaker 4: for permanent housing. The New York City Department of Homeless
- 15:34Speaker 4: Services offered one hundred and fifty families cash assistance if
- 15:40Speaker 4: they agreed to move out of the shelter and find
- 15:46Speaker 4: more affordable housing with a four thousand. The city is
- 15:49Speaker 4: using every tool at its disposal to implement innovative and
- 15:53Speaker 4: cost effective solutions to help recently arrived asylum seekers four
- 16:00Speaker 4: thousand per person to leave the shelters because this administration
- 16:07Speaker 4: and the mindset of this administration and people who align
- 16:12Speaker 4: themselves with this administration is so destructive that it's caused
- 16:20Speaker 4: such a calamity in these major metropolitan areas. You're seeing
- 16:25Speaker 4: people who are living as if it's a this has
- 16:29Speaker 4: become a third world country. They've left the third world
- 16:32Speaker 4: country to come to a third world country. And the
- 16:35Speaker 4: only reason why they are not out on the street
- 16:38Speaker 4: is because my tax dollars and your tax dollars are
- 16:43Speaker 4: propping them up so that they can have four walls
- 16:47Speaker 4: and food and shelter. And this administration was not prepared
- 16:53Speaker 4: for this. They just opened the doors and let everybody
- 16:56Speaker 4: come in. And now the American citizen is paying the
- 17:00Speaker 4: price for that, all of you bleeding hearts. You watch
- 17:04Speaker 4: this unfold, You're seeing it happen. You're watching the again
- 17:08Speaker 4: catastrophic loss of finances, monies, and the quick disintegration of
- 17:17Speaker 4: the American way of life.
- 17:19Speaker 3: You're watching it in front of your eyes. You know,
- 17:22Speaker 3: you shouldn't be ashamed by the way of the way
- 17:24Speaker 3: you live.
- 17:25Speaker 4: Like in other words, this is the greatest economic engine
- 17:28Speaker 4: in the history of mankind, which is why people come
- 17:30Speaker 4: here and want to continue to come here. Our system
- 17:33Speaker 4: is designed for achievers to go out and make their
- 17:40Speaker 4: own way in the world. And you cannot continue to
- 17:46Speaker 4: have a prosperous country if you continue to rape the
- 17:51Speaker 4: wealthy and give that to folks who are migrating here
- 17:56Speaker 4: by the tens of thousands a day.
- 17:59Speaker 3: The system doesn't worked.
- 18:00Speaker 4: It won't work, so your quality of life will significantly decline.
- 18:07Speaker 4: It's already in the process of significant decline because of
- 18:11Speaker 4: what has happened here in the last three years. They're
- 18:14Speaker 4: gonna give people four thousand dollars of taxpayer money. This
- 18:19Speaker 4: isn't magic money that appears out of nowhere. This is
- 18:23Speaker 4: taxpayer dollars, your money, my money that's going to someone.
- 18:28Speaker 4: And again, they may be the nicest people in the world,
- 18:31Speaker 4: with all the moral, virtuous values that we might want
- 18:34Speaker 4: an American, but they got here through slippery means and
- 18:38Speaker 4: they they can't sustain and support themselves. So they're here
- 18:43Speaker 4: and we have to fork over the money. I don't
- 18:46Speaker 4: want to fork over the money anymore. I don't have
- 18:49Speaker 4: any more money to give. There's no more blood in
- 18:52Speaker 4: this stone. And if you want to just look at
- 18:55Speaker 4: a reason to vote for Trump, this is it. Just
- 18:59Speaker 4: that one story. Four thousand bucks to illegal immigrants who
- 19:04Speaker 4: are here, four thousand of my dollars parts that suit
- 19:07Speaker 4: their narrative.
- 19:08Speaker 3: There's nobody on the planet that can look me in the.
- 19:11Speaker 4: Eye on this issue and debate me on it and
- 19:15Speaker 4: say it's a good thing that we've opened the floodgates
- 19:18Speaker 4: in allowed millions of unvetted, unchecked people, no resources, potentially,
- 19:25Speaker 4: no skills, nothing.
- 19:27Speaker 3: Into the United States of America. You'll lose that debate
- 19:30Speaker 3: with me.
- 19:31Speaker 4: Every time you know you're in the wrong, yet you
- 19:35Speaker 4: can't come out and say it because it's against your
- 19:37Speaker 4: party's policies.
- 19:38Speaker 3: And it's a huge, huge mistake. Conservatively speaking, I mean,
- 19:43Speaker 3: we all know it's more than ten million.
- 19:45Speaker 4: There's probably it's probably more like twenty million people have
- 19:47Speaker 4: come across.
- 19:48Speaker 3: In the last three years, which is astronomical.
- 19:50Speaker 4: It's a flat out invasion, and the quality of life
- 19:54Speaker 4: in these cities has deteriorated so rapidly that it's causing
- 19:59Speaker 4: these cities to try to figure out a way to
- 20:02Speaker 4: get these people out of shelters.
- 20:04Speaker 3: What happens when the four thousand bucks runs out? What
- 20:06Speaker 3: are they gonna do? Then? What happens when the four
- 20:09Speaker 3: thousand dollars runs out? Here?
- 20:11Speaker 4: New York City hands out forty one hundred dollars bills
- 20:15Speaker 4: to Jose and off he goes here. You gotta go
- 20:18Speaker 4: go to this place and rent your apartment? Bang, bang bang,
- 20:22Speaker 4: four thousand bucks.
- 20:23Speaker 3: What does he get?
- 20:23Speaker 4: Maybe three months rent? Jose ain't got no job. What
- 20:27Speaker 4: happens after the three months? Where is he going back
- 20:30Speaker 4: to the shelter? Where's he going? Where's he going? You
- 20:35Speaker 4: can't make it up. We gotta take a break. We'll
- 20:37Speaker 4: come right back.
- 20:38Speaker 3: You are listening to war.

- 21:46Speaker 3: All right, welcome back.
- 21:47Speaker 4: I know everybody wants to talk about the debate, debate, debate,
- 21:51Speaker 4: and I get that, but I have a rare opportunity
- 21:54Speaker 4: right now, and once again you are listening to Warwayne
- 21:58Speaker 4: allhen Root will be here right after the top of
- 22:01Speaker 4: the hour. But in this business, I've been doing this
- 22:04Speaker 4: for a long time, there are certain conversations you have
- 22:07Speaker 4: with people.
- 22:07Speaker 3: That you always remember. And this is one of the
- 22:10Speaker 3: first time I talked to O'Reilly.
- 22:11Speaker 4: I remember that first time I talked to either a
- 22:14Speaker 4: senator or somebody of a certain level of import.
- 22:18Speaker 3: You remember it, Ryan.
- 22:19Speaker 4: It's something that sticks with you for a long long time.
- 22:21Speaker 4: And you know, we haven't gotten a chance to talk
- 22:23Speaker 4: to this next gentleman. And he has built an empire.
- 22:27Speaker 4: And Christopher Ruddy is the CEO of Newsmax and they
- 22:31Speaker 4: are skyrocketing up all the cable networks everywhere. Everyone you
- 22:35Speaker 4: talk to they love newsmaxs. And he's joining us right now,
- 22:37Speaker 4: mister Ruddy.
- 22:38Speaker 3: And how are you.
- 22:39Speaker 7: I am great. I'm so great to be on with you.
- 22:41Speaker 7: And I don't know if I'm as equal to some
- 22:44Speaker 7: of the people you've said you've met, but I'm glad
- 22:46Speaker 7: to make your acquaintance.
- 22:48Speaker 3: I've actually met you one time.
- 22:49Speaker 4: You wouldn't remember, but it was at one of the
- 22:50Speaker 4: talk radio conferences that mister Harrison always has over in
- 22:55Speaker 4: New Jersey.
- 22:55Speaker 3: I think you were there one of the times, so
- 22:57Speaker 3: I get a chance to.
- 22:58Speaker 7: Meet those talk radio things are to rip. The great
- 23:00Speaker 7: Michael Harrison is among the greats.
- 23:02Speaker 3: He really is.
- 23:03Speaker 4: He really underrated and what he does and what he's
- 23:05Speaker 4: brought to the talk radio and just the media industry
- 23:07Speaker 4: for sure. So you know, we're talking to you today
- 23:10Speaker 4: because one of the reasons why we're talking to is
- 23:12Speaker 4: Newsmax is going public.
- 23:13Speaker 7: Right Well, we announced earlier this summer that we planned
- 23:17Speaker 7: to go public. It was a huge announcement. The Wall
- 23:20Speaker 7: Street Journal, major media picked it up, and we are
- 23:23Speaker 7: still planning at the end of this year early next year,
- 23:27Speaker 7: subject to the SEC approvals and all of those good things,
- 23:30Speaker 7: to become publicly listed on the New York Stock Exchange
- 23:33Speaker 7: of an ASTAC. And we're extremely excited. We've gotten a huge,
- 23:37Speaker 7: huge response, and our feeling was, you know, we've been
- 23:40Speaker 7: we're so close to overtaking CNN. Now we're fourth highest
- 23:44Speaker 7: rated cable channel. Reuters just did a study and they
- 23:47Speaker 7: said we were one of the top twelve news brands
- 23:49Speaker 7: in the whole United States. That wouldn't it be great
- 23:52Speaker 7: if we had ten hundreds of thousands of co owners
- 23:55Speaker 7: and shareholders of people fighting for us and they had
- 23:59Speaker 7: a stake. So we did that and it's got an
- 24:02Speaker 7: incredible response. We launched this website where people could get
- 24:06Speaker 7: information about the upcoming IPO plan but also they could
- 24:10Speaker 7: invest early if they're eligible, and that website is newsmax
- 24:14Speaker 7: invest dot com. Newsmax invest dot com.
- 24:18Speaker 3: You know, I don't know how this works.
- 24:19Speaker 4: Him. You can let everybody know how do they start
- 24:22Speaker 4: the offering? Like, where do they start that number at?
- 24:25Speaker 4: Like you want to buy these stocks? It starts at zero?
- 24:28Speaker 4: It can't be zero. Where does it start?
- 24:30Speaker 7: Well, we already have an assumed valuation of Newsmax. It's
- 24:33Speaker 7: around this year. It's going to do one hundred and
- 24:35Speaker 7: eighty million dollars. We're projecting a business. We're projecting profitability,
- 24:41Speaker 7: and then there's certain metrics that go and then investors
- 24:44Speaker 7: will look at what they think the potential of the
- 24:47Speaker 7: company is. Think about President Trump's truth Media, right, he
- 24:51Speaker 7: just kind of concept it was billions of dollars. They
- 24:55Speaker 7: now have an app, Trump Media, and that company has
- 24:59Speaker 7: been as high valley valued as high at ten billion dollars.
- 25:04Speaker 7: Newsmach you know, has real revenues and has been around
- 25:08Speaker 7: and has real distribution on the things. And we think
- 25:10Speaker 7: we're not saying that we're gonna get the same valuation
- 25:13Speaker 7: as President Trump, but what we do say is that
- 25:16Speaker 7: President Trump's company shows there's tremendous interest in companies going public.
- 25:21Speaker 7: And we're really excited about you know, on every major
- 25:25Speaker 7: cable system. We're on every major platform for streaming, Roku
- 25:30Speaker 7: and all of those good things, Samsung, Busio, and it's
- 25:36Speaker 7: just we're reaching about forty million Americans monthly, which is
- 25:40Speaker 7: a huge number. You remember back in the day, you know,
- 25:42Speaker 7: Time and Newsweek had a circulation of a million, and
- 25:45Speaker 7: everybody thought, wow, these are the most powerful things in
- 25:48Speaker 7: the world. And we're reaching forty million people regularly.
- 25:51Speaker 4: So does this open the door to something different? Is
- 25:54Speaker 4: there something cooking in your brain that people should know
- 25:57Speaker 4: about that is coming down the pike. I mean, like
- 25:59Speaker 4: you said, said, you are a rising stores, certainly in
- 26:02Speaker 4: the news media industry. So where you're gaining every just
- 26:06Speaker 4: about every day on CNN for sure, and you're going
- 26:09Speaker 4: to overtake them, I'm quite sure very soon. Is there
- 26:11Speaker 4: something else cooking You're going to do anything different. They
- 26:14Speaker 4: open it up from forty million to one hundred million households.
- 26:17Speaker 3: How does that work.
- 26:18Speaker 7: Well, Look, there's a lot of virgin market territory still
- 26:21Speaker 7: to be expanded. And you know, Fox is changing. It's
- 26:25Speaker 7: not what it used to being a big market share
- 26:28Speaker 7: of people that care about the values we care about
- 26:30Speaker 7: out in the country. Look, we were of the twelve
- 26:34Speaker 7: top media brands Roters Identify were the only one that
- 26:37Speaker 7: wasn't like a billion dollars billions of dollars behind us.
- 26:40Speaker 7: And I think it's just people are voting with their
- 26:43Speaker 7: remote controls for Newsmax and that's why we're having so
- 26:46Speaker 7: much success. I think we will continue to have that
- 26:49Speaker 7: in the areas of the cable channel, of the streaming channel,
- 26:54Speaker 7: of the Newsmax Plus service where people download or app
- 26:57Speaker 7: and get us anywhere in the world. You just go
- 26:59Speaker 7: to new smacksplus dot com. You can sign up for
- 27:03Speaker 7: free start and then and then we have the podcast
- 27:07Speaker 7: we're doing. We're looking someday potentially in radio your medium.
- 27:11Speaker 7: We think it's a great medium. Uh And you know,
- 27:15Speaker 7: there's just a lot of possibilities for us.
- 27:18Speaker 4: I could be just the guy you need, really just kidding, No.
- 27:24Speaker 7: Wou sound great, and you have the right views, and
- 27:27Speaker 7: you have the right friends.
- 27:28Speaker 4: That's right, we have the same we have similar friends.
- 27:30Speaker 4: Christopher Ruddy is our guests. And in the beginning the
- 27:33Speaker 4: infancy of this your idea, one hundred percent, you sit
- 27:36Speaker 4: down with a group of people to talk this thing out,
- 27:38Speaker 4: this whole idea, and you know, to move this forward.
- 27:41Speaker 3: Was it all yours? Well?
- 27:43Speaker 7: You know, Newsmack started in ninety eight, so it's been
- 27:45Speaker 7: around for a bit. And I was a journalist covering
- 27:48Speaker 7: the Clinton Winehouse, and I saw the power of the
- 27:50Speaker 7: internet in the nineties. I saw Matt Rudge and his success,
- 27:54Speaker 7: and I thought to myself, Wow, we really need to
- 27:57Speaker 7: have more conservative media, media that's more fair and balanced.
- 28:01Speaker 7: And I thought things were bad then in the media,
- 28:03Speaker 7: they've gotten worse. And I mean the Media Research Center
- 28:07Speaker 7: study just out this week. Since Kamala Harris was anointed denominee,
- 28:13Speaker 7: she's gotten eighty six percent positive press coverage from major media.
- 28:18Speaker 7: Donald Trump has gotten ninety percent negative press coverage. I mean,
- 28:22Speaker 7: that's that's what they call him. Balance right, ninety percent
- 28:25Speaker 7: pro and ninety percent against the Republican And our job
- 28:29Speaker 7: is actually not to be pro Trumper, against Trump or
- 28:32Speaker 7: for Trump. It's to just tell the facts about them,
- 28:35Speaker 7: right and let people decide. You know, we have somebody
- 28:38Speaker 7: that's on one of our videos and Newsmaks and black women,
- 28:41Speaker 7: and she says, they don't tell me what to think.
- 28:44Speaker 7: She says, they let me decide. And I think that
- 28:46Speaker 7: sums up Newsmax.
- 28:47Speaker 4: That's what news should actually be. I mean, you know
- 28:50Speaker 4: that everyone out there should should realize that the slanted
- 28:53Speaker 4: news presentation is terrible. You think about what Trump went
- 28:57Speaker 4: through in his four years in office, from Russia to
- 29:02Speaker 4: the dossier eight everything, of course the laptop.
- 29:05Speaker 3: It was one thing after another.
- 29:06Speaker 4: When they created one story and when that sort of
- 29:09Speaker 4: fell short, they created another one and another one. And
- 29:12Speaker 4: this is just medium manipulation. People do want and are
- 29:15Speaker 4: thirsty for that that location where they can just go
- 29:18Speaker 4: and have somebody tell them the news.
- 29:19Speaker 3: And I think you're right.
- 29:20Speaker 4: I think if you look at just the facts behind
- 29:23Speaker 4: a lot of this stuff, it's it's they always fall short.
- 29:26Speaker 4: CNN and MSNBC always falls short in delivering the facts.
- 29:30Speaker 7: Well, I think that people are turning off the old
- 29:32Speaker 7: media at this stay through the bias and look, there's
- 29:37Speaker 7: no accountability Kamala Harris, where are they asking? Or she
- 29:40Speaker 7: just give an eighteen minute interview and she feels she's
- 29:42Speaker 7: answered suppressed. When you love Trump or not? You know,
- 29:45Speaker 7: at least he's constantly going before the media, constantly taking questions,
- 29:50Speaker 7: He's open to debates. So you know, I think democracy
- 29:54Speaker 7: is served to keep saying that they're to save democracy,
- 29:58Speaker 7: but they don't want to play by the rules of demac.
- 30:00Speaker 4: You saw that the Internet was big, right, So what's
- 30:02Speaker 4: the mechanism moving forward? Where do you see this media
- 30:06Speaker 4: miss medium in ten years?
- 30:08Speaker 7: Well, it's really hard to say. You know, like twenty
- 30:11Speaker 7: years ago, if somebody said, well, everybody's going to be
- 30:13Speaker 7: on their phones all day and the Internet's all going
- 30:16Speaker 7: to be about phones, I would have laughed. I would
- 30:19Speaker 7: have thought, no, nobody's going to sit on the Internet
- 30:21Speaker 7: on their phones. But right, we're all on our phones
- 30:24Speaker 7: all day long. Most Internet cannot assumption now is on
- 30:27Speaker 7: people's phones and personal devices. So it's so hard to
- 30:31Speaker 7: predict where it's all going. What the impact of AI.
- 30:34Speaker 7: Remember a few years ago they were saying that the
- 30:36Speaker 7: metaverse was everything was going to Facebook changed its name
- 30:40Speaker 7: to meta, right, I don't know anybody that's involved in
- 30:43Speaker 7: the metaverse right now. Good point, But everybody thought it
- 30:46Speaker 7: was the next big thing. AI seems to have much
- 30:49Speaker 7: more powerful practical implications for people, maybe much more danger
- 30:54Speaker 7: but you know, I think for US news matters always.
- 30:58Speaker 7: Our approach has been to be sort of involved with everything.
- 31:00Speaker 7: It just keeps working everything.
- 31:03Speaker 4: Hey, we were talking about that the other day, about
- 31:05Speaker 4: metaverse and how people were actually buying property in the metaverse,
- 31:08Speaker 4: spending real money to buy fake property, which we you know,
- 31:11Speaker 4: was pretty amazing. But you know, the information consumption that
- 31:15Speaker 4: what's changing. You know, like you said, it's all in
- 31:18Speaker 4: the palm of your hand. If you hadn't you know,
- 31:20Speaker 4: we hadn't thought of that thirty years ago, twenty years ago,
- 31:22Speaker 4: ten years ago, we would never believed that he had
- 31:25Speaker 4: this kind of.
- 31:25Speaker 3: Access to information.
- 31:26Speaker 4: But it's also easily corrupted, right, and you get people
- 31:30Speaker 4: in Middle America who get false information, they buy into it,
- 31:33Speaker 4: and I think that that sort of feeds this beast,
- 31:36Speaker 4: and that feeds this Kamala Harris scenario. Can you believe
- 31:39Speaker 4: that she is an election away from being the President
- 31:42Speaker 4: of the United States.
- 31:43Speaker 3: She's completely unqualified for that position.
- 31:47Speaker 7: I mean, the lady. You know that she ran for office,
- 31:51Speaker 7: she had no votes, practically nobody wanted her. She's just
- 31:55Speaker 7: it seems like Barack Obama has pushed her candidacy all
- 31:58Speaker 7: along and seems to be hit in hand behind her.
- 32:02Speaker 7: And it's just and we're seeing even after they got
- 32:05Speaker 7: this coup, they got buyed out, all of Obama's people
- 32:09Speaker 7: took over her campaign, right. I mean, the clues are there,
- 32:14Speaker 7: and Obama was you know, really bought the country left.
- 32:18Speaker 7: All the woke stuff that we're seeing today starts in
- 32:22Speaker 7: his administration. So you know, it's it's a battle. It's
- 32:28Speaker 7: a battle for the heart and soul of America and
- 32:31Speaker 7: we're battling here.
- 32:33Speaker 3: Unfortunately we're running short on time.
- 32:34Speaker 4: Let me give you the last opportunity to tell everybody
- 32:37Speaker 4: where to go to get involved with the Newsmax going public.
- 32:39Speaker 7: Well, they go to Newsmax look us up anywhere on
- 32:42Speaker 7: their cable channels, newsmax dot com for their web but
- 32:45Speaker 7: they can find out about our public offering, upcoming plans,
- 32:49Speaker 7: and how they can invest early and preferred shares get
- 32:52Speaker 7: a seven percent dividend before the IPO. Just go to
- 32:57Speaker 7: newsmaxinvest dot com. Newsmax dot com. They can even go
- 33:02Speaker 7: and buy share us with a credit card, although some
- 33:04Speaker 7: people have a little problem on the online Just hit
- 33:07Speaker 7: the document button, send us an email. You want documents,
- 33:10Speaker 7: we'll send you them, send them in the mail. And

- 36:35Speaker 4: You are listening to War on the top media network,
- 36:38Speaker 4: and he's become somewhat of a mainstay here on these
- 36:42Speaker 4: Friday nights, the first hour here across this great network
- 36:45Speaker 4: as I broadcast from my cushy lair here in the
- 36:48Speaker 4: comfy confines of a full power radio studio in Connecticut,
- 36:51Speaker 4: and Colonel Rob Simmons is our guest. He's gonna wrap
- 36:54Speaker 4: it up for my hour segment. Of course, he's a
- 36:56Speaker 4: former congressman and Vietnam veteran and also a CIA agent
- 37:01Speaker 4: all of that stuff. And Colonel Rob Simmons, and Rob,
- 37:04Speaker 4: let me ask you, just in a general sense, what
- 37:06Speaker 4: are the Democrats up to, like, what's their plan, what's
- 37:09Speaker 4: their scheme?
- 37:09Speaker 5: You know, sometimes it's hard to figure out where the
- 37:12Speaker 5: Democrats are gone with all their stuff because they keep
- 37:15Speaker 5: a lot of their stuff secret. You know, they don't
- 37:17Speaker 5: tell you, they don't let you know what's going on. Yeah,
- 37:19Speaker 5: the Democrat propaganda machine. So I'm looking at the New
- 37:23Speaker 5: London Day headline last Friday. This was after our show,
- 37:27Speaker 5: so of course I couldn't talk about it last week.
- 37:29Speaker 5: But it's a headline above the fold, top story. This
- 37:33Speaker 5: is the top story of the weekend, I guess, because
- 37:36Speaker 5: you know it goes through with the whole weekend. Army
- 37:39Speaker 5: defends Arlington cemetery worker.
- 37:42Speaker 3: Okay, whoa all right?
- 37:44Speaker 5: Arlington Arlington Army. Army. Arlington Army defends Arlington cemetery whistles
- 37:50Speaker 5: so worker, So I think, okay, somehow I hear a
- 37:53Speaker 5: dog whistle. You know, hey, fight out, come on, got
- 37:57Speaker 5: around everybody. Here's the message. Get ready for it, and
- 38:00Speaker 5: you can talk about it all weekend long, even on Monday,
- 38:04Speaker 5: which is Labor Day. Sure, the smaller cap is official.
- 38:08Speaker 5: That's an Arlington cemetery worker, an official. She she it's
- 38:13Speaker 5: a female. She was pushed aside, pushed aside, she was
- 38:18Speaker 5: pushed with somebody pushed her into an open grave. I
- 38:21Speaker 5: don't know. I got to read on pushed aside by
- 38:24Speaker 5: Trump staff at wreath laying ceremony. I'm thinking, why is
- 38:35Speaker 5: a cemetery worker who claims to be pushed? Why is
- 38:39Speaker 5: this headline news across the nation? What's that all about?
- 38:43Speaker 5: And it's a Trump staffer. What's he doing there? So
- 38:47Speaker 5: you have to read it a little bit. Okay. An
- 38:49Speaker 5: Arlington National Cemetery official was abruptly pushed aside in an
- 38:54Speaker 5: altercation with former President Donald Trump's staff during a wreath
- 38:59Speaker 5: laying Sarah money to honor service members killed in the
- 39:03Speaker 5: Afghanistan War withdrawl. The incident was reported to the police,
- 39:09Speaker 5: but the employee decided not to press charges. Okay, So
- 39:14Speaker 5: I began looking around a little bit, and lo and befold,
- 39:17Speaker 5: I found some more stories about this. Here's one, oh,
- 39:22Speaker 5: from the New York Post, another bogus scandal. Oh so
- 39:27Speaker 5: they think the press turned a single disagreement between one
- 39:31Speaker 5: Trump's staffer and one Arlington employee into the scandal of
- 39:36Speaker 5: the month. So there you go. I've just told you
- 39:38Speaker 5: the dog whistle, right New London Day headlines an unnamed
- 39:43Speaker 5: Arlington Cemetery worker who filed a police report but won't
- 39:46Speaker 5: press Chargers doesn't want to be identified. The information came
- 39:51Speaker 5: out through NPR, which is the national propaganda outlet, National
- 39:55Speaker 5: Propaganda Radio. We all know NPR and what they're all about.
- 39:59Speaker 5: So that's how that's how it gets out. And now
- 40:01Speaker 5: the New York Post and an editorial, very very kindly
- 40:05Speaker 5: sheds a little light on it. It's another bogus scandal,
- 40:10Speaker 5: another bogus scandal. So I look a little further and
- 40:14Speaker 5: I see here's an article also in the Day. Trump
- 40:18Speaker 5: at Arlington, he's putting a wreath at the tomb of
- 40:23Speaker 5: the Unknown Soldiers. Seems okay to me. This came out
- 40:28Speaker 5: on August twenty ninth, and there's a soldier there, all
- 40:32Speaker 5: dressed up and they're putting the wreath there. Ironically, I'm
- 40:35Speaker 5: reminded of Joe Biden when he places the wreath, he
- 40:37Speaker 5: doesn't know where to stand and what to do. And
- 40:39Speaker 5: he's doing it with Darren Taylor Hoover, who is a
- 40:43Speaker 5: gold Star Father honoring Sergeant Darren Taylor Hoover at Arlington
- 40:47Speaker 5: National Cemetery and now here again they include in this
- 40:51Speaker 5: Associated Press article and photo op. The officials spoke on
- 40:56Speaker 5: the condition of anonymity. NPR reported, citing a source with
- 41:00Speaker 5: knowledge of the incident, and they go on and on
- 41:02Speaker 5: about this pushing incident. Right, that's undisclosed, sources issues, not
- 41:09Speaker 5: wanting to be people not wanting to be identified, everything
- 41:12Speaker 5: secret except the Trump people to have pushed a Trump
- 41:17Speaker 5: guy pushed somebody. So then we go a little further
- 41:21Speaker 5: and I sort of asked myself, you know, why is
- 41:25Speaker 5: Trump there? Why is he there? Well, he was invited there.
- 41:29Speaker 5: He was invited there by the gold Star families. And
- 41:32Speaker 5: this group of gold Star families was the abbey Gate
- 41:36Speaker 5: group of gold Star families. So are you familiar with
- 41:38Speaker 5: the abbey Gate, Yeah, tell me about them.
- 41:41Speaker 4: It's arguably one of the worst blemishes in American military history,
- 41:46Speaker 4: where men died for no reason, complete fault of President
- 41:50Speaker 4: Joe Biden.
- 41:51Speaker 5: So this Trump is honoring the death of thirteen American
- 41:56Speaker 5: soldiers on the anniversary of their death because he was
- 42:01Speaker 5: invited by the families to do this and he agreed
- 42:06Speaker 5: to do it. Joe Biden was on vacation. Kamala Harris
- 42:11Speaker 5: was at the mansion practicing for her debate, presumably a
- 42:14Speaker 5: few minutes away. They claimed they weren't invited to attend.
- 42:17Speaker 5: But it's kind of interesting because they obviously knew about it.
- 42:21Speaker 5: You know why they knew about it because the Arlington
- 42:24Speaker 5: National Cemetery was considering the request of the families to
- 42:27Speaker 5: have the event and to have Trump there, and they
- 42:31Speaker 5: weren't getting an answer back from Arlington National Cemetery. So
- 42:34Speaker 5: the families had to go to their congressman, who then
- 42:37Speaker 5: went to the Speaker of the House, Mike Johnson, who then,
- 42:40Speaker 5: you know, you know, laid the big hammer on the
- 42:43Speaker 5: army in Arlington National Cemetery and said, you know, these
- 42:46Speaker 5: families want him there, and there's you need to respond
- 42:51Speaker 5: to them. Sure, So they said, well, yeah, okay.
- 42:54Speaker 3: And he's the former president of United States.
- 42:57Speaker 4: How many times he's the former president of the United
- 43:01Speaker 4: States of America and they wanted him there. It's that simple, colonel,
- 43:04Speaker 4: amount of time. I wish we had more, but we'll
- 43:06Speaker 4: have you back. Of course again, we gotta go. Wayne,
- 43:09Speaker 4: Allen rud has arrived. Enjoy your weekend.
- 43:11Speaker 3: We'll see it.
