SPEAKER_04: Yep, Billy Joel had a whole thing.
0:20
SPEAKER_04: It's uh, you know, sinners are much more fun.
0:23
SPEAKER_04: Something something.
0:24
SPEAKER_04: We didn't start the fire, yeah.
0:26
SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
0:26
SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
0:27
SPEAKER_04: We didn't start the fire.
0:28
SPEAKER_02: Is it is it we didn't start the fire because Satan did.
0:31
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, what's going on?
0:32
SPEAKER_04: It's a song about him being in hell.
0:35
SPEAKER_03: Oh, okay.
0:36
SPEAKER_03: Because he wrote that song and now he doesn't like we didn't start the fire anymore, and people always ask him to play it.
0:41
SPEAKER_03: I'm pretty sure it's something like that.
0:42
SPEAKER_04: I thought Elton John.
0:43
SPEAKER_04: Anyway, welcome back to Inmoderation, the show where we give you a moderate dose of info, sarcasm, and we already know uh we're not approved.
0:50
SPEAKER_04: Good night, everybody.
0:53
SPEAKER_04: That's it.
0:53
SPEAKER_04: That's the end.
0:55
SPEAKER_03: We've had our our longest episode was two hours, our shortest will be 20 seconds.
1:00
SPEAKER_03: Perfect.
1:01
SPEAKER_03: We can we not have our shortest episode at some point.
1:05
SPEAKER_03: We need to have it.
1:06
SPEAKER_03: It just cuts.
1:07
SPEAKER_03: Oh, you should just say with a moderate dose of and it just cuts off, and that's the fucking end of the episode before you even finish it.
1:13
SPEAKER_04: We just pop on, we say the word DeLorean and we shut it off.
1:17
SPEAKER_03: Oh, but that's why we mention it.
1:19
SPEAKER_03: That way, because we have to mention it.
1:20
SPEAKER_03: That's fair.
1:21
SPEAKER_03: If we did that, yeah, yeah.
1:23
SPEAKER_04: I don't I don't want to cause an uproar again.
1:25
SPEAKER_04: I don't want it to be trouble FCC violation.
1:30
SPEAKER_04: So yeah.
1:31
SPEAKER_03: I I I will have you know I told April about the DeLorean's prison food slot, and she's already now more disappointed in me getting a DeLorean than she was, which is pretty well, that was a high bar, and I I managed to cross it.
1:46
SPEAKER_03: So how much is it?
1:48
SPEAKER_03: Oh,$70,000.
1:49
SPEAKER_03: And what can it do?
1:50
SPEAKER_03: Very little.
1:51
SPEAKER_03: And yeah, but I'm like, still still need it.
1:54
SPEAKER_03: Sorry, honey.
1:55
SPEAKER_03: Still gonna have to get one.
1:57
SPEAKER_04: For those of you that chose the line of self-care of not listening to last week's episode, 57 minutes in to hear the point where we talk about the DeLorean having basically a prison food slot.
2:08
SPEAKER_04: The payoff is very minimal.
2:10
SPEAKER_04: Just look up the DeLorean uh vehicle and just look at the the window.
2:14
SPEAKER_04: And on the side, you're gonna see this little line in the window.
2:17
SPEAKER_04: That that is.
2:18
SPEAKER_04: Which I thought was a choice for aesthetics.
2:20
SPEAKER_04: No, no, no, it's it only opens that much, just enough to like get a trade.
2:26
SPEAKER_04: I'm giving a prisoner a meal.
2:27
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, but if you wanted to go through a drive-thru, you can't get a drink in there.
2:31
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, and because the door is open, like, you know, like a little there, you need more uh what is it, room, right?
2:37
SPEAKER_03: Like I think I don't think I think like a little bit, right?
2:40
SPEAKER_03: Not that much, but like a little bit.
2:42
SPEAKER_04: So you only need 14 inches of space to open up a DeLorean door.
2:47
SPEAKER_04: That is a a misconception that it takes more space for the DeLorean doors to open than a regular vehicle.
2:53
SPEAKER_03: I'm just thinking about getting well, I'm just thinking about getting my bean burrito.
2:56
SPEAKER_03: So like if I I'm worried I open it, I smack the bean burrito right out of the person's hand who's handing it to me, then I'm very sad.
3:04
SPEAKER_03: So do I go through the prison four food slot or do I risk knocking it right out of their hand?
3:08
SPEAKER_04: For that, I thought because it's it's flat enough.
3:10
SPEAKER_04: You can get that through there.
3:11
SPEAKER_04: The prison food slot would be enough for any number of burritos.
3:15
SPEAKER_02: What about the soft drink?
3:17
SPEAKER_04: That's well, that's what I said.
3:18
SPEAKER_04: You can't get a drink through there.
3:19
SPEAKER_04: You're gonna have to open the door and maybe knock it out of their hands.
3:22
SPEAKER_02: Well, I always put my 14 inches is what, like 20 feet?
3:27
SPEAKER_02: Something like that.
3:28
SPEAKER_03: You're asking us to convert freedoms.
3:32
SPEAKER_00: Can guarantee that this is the first time this conversation has ever happened anywhere.
3:35
SPEAKER_03: You can say that about a lot of our conversation.
3:38
SPEAKER_00: Very, very true.
3:40
SPEAKER_00: But having been here right in the middle of it, it's dawning on me just how uh yeah.
3:46
SPEAKER_00: How rare.
3:48
SPEAKER_03: Not rare, uh, you know, beautiful.
3:51
SPEAKER_03: Enlightening.
3:52
SPEAKER_03: I like that beautiful our conversations are about prison food slots at Taco Bell's.
3:58
SPEAKER_03: Uh, you know, my I need my large Baha blast.
4:01
SPEAKER_03: Fuck.
4:02
SPEAKER_04: We we should probably take a moment to uh introduce the the person who just spoke here.
4:09
SPEAKER_02: Uh who is also next to you in the room, so at any point given point in time we can ask her to go punch you.
4:15
SPEAKER_04: But we could also just do an entire episode where we have a guest and don't even mention like who they are, what they're there.
4:24
SPEAKER_03: So is that just funny to us?
4:25
SPEAKER_03: Are we just laughing at that the whole time?
4:27
SPEAKER_03: Like maybe the people on YouTube, I guess, would see it and then they would just never they would never say anything, and that would be the end.
4:33
SPEAKER_04: They're like, okay, no the point of the podcast, just something that only we enjoy, and we keep filming it and people keep listening to it.
4:41
SPEAKER_03: Just by when you miss saying the DeLorean, I guess so, because like it just seems we just make people mad.
4:47
SPEAKER_03: We either do either nothing or make people mad.
4:50
SPEAKER_04: Tracy, are you mad that we didn't mention the DeLorean in that one episode?
4:55
SPEAKER_04: And I say we in three equal parts, of course.
4:58
SPEAKER_00: I I almost stopped listening and I almost stopped being friends with you.
5:01
SPEAKER_04: Fair.
5:02
SPEAKER_04: Tracy, do you want to let everybody know who you are and maybe why you're here?
5:07
SPEAKER_00: Uh yeah.
5:07
SPEAKER_00: Uh my name is Tracy.
5:08
SPEAKER_00: I'm here.
5:09
SPEAKER_00: I'm part of Mike's uh school community.
5:11
SPEAKER_00: I was one of his clients.
5:13
SPEAKER_00: I'm down just about 70 pounds.
5:15
SPEAKER_00: I recently got certified as a running coach.
5:17
SPEAKER_00: I'm training for a half marathon in October.
5:21
SPEAKER_00: Uh that's me.
5:23
SPEAKER_02: God, what has Mike done to you?
5:26
SPEAKER_02: Getting you into running marathons?
5:28
SPEAKER_00: You know what?
5:29
SPEAKER_00: You know what?
5:30
SPEAKER_00: That was my my decision.
5:32
SPEAKER_00: I was uh he tried to talk you out of it.
5:35
SPEAKER_00: He yeah, not really, but yeah.
5:38
SPEAKER_00: Uh I'm trying to get him to run it with me, but he's he's not he's not going for it.
5:43
SPEAKER_00: He's not going for it.
5:44
SPEAKER_03: I wouldn't either.
5:45
SPEAKER_03: I'm not gonna lie.
5:45
SPEAKER_03: I'll drive in my DeLorean next to you and be like very just supportive and yell compliments the whole time, but I'm not running.
5:52
SPEAKER_02: Just be careful with the other thing.
5:52
SPEAKER_03: I think that's as fast as the DeLorean can go.
5:55
SPEAKER_03: So like it's fine.
5:56
SPEAKER_03: It's got seven horsepower, did you know?
5:58
SPEAKER_03: That that is a lot of horses in short verse.
6:00
SPEAKER_03: That's 28 horsepower.
6:02
SPEAKER_03: I think I don't remember the conversion if I'm being perfectly honest.
6:06
SPEAKER_04: Is is horsepower different between the United States and Canada?
6:11
SPEAKER_04: Oh.
6:12
SPEAKER_04: Do we have a different rating system?
6:14
SPEAKER_04: Like, are the horses in Canada more powerful?
6:16
SPEAKER_04: The horses are just nicer.
6:18
SPEAKER_04: They're nicer, they're just nicer.
6:20
SPEAKER_04: This is true.
6:21
SPEAKER_04: They're not really putting all their oomph into it.
6:23
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, they apologize at the end.
6:25
SPEAKER_02: They like turn and they're like they nay a sori.
6:28
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, uh no, I'm not gonna be running a half marathon to those that initiated that is uh 13 miles.
6:35
SPEAKER_04: Yes, it's a lot of miles.
6:37
SPEAKER_04: It's that's uh something like that, 26 kilometers or something.
6:43
SPEAKER_04: Milometers, I don't know, kilometers, how many hectares?
6:47
SPEAKER_04: Who knows?
6:48
SPEAKER_04: I don't know.
6:48
SPEAKER_04: One parsec, that's all it's a lot, yeah.
6:51
SPEAKER_04: One parsec to me is too much.
6:53
SPEAKER_02: So I'm gonna be there twice the length that a DeLorean can drive.
6:58
SPEAKER_00: I was gonna say, I gotta figure out how fast a DeLorean is and how long it would take to drive a at this point.
7:04
SPEAKER_03: I wouldn't be surprised if you're like, no, it doesn't have a gas canister, it just has like a plastic bag under there that you kind of have to like replace every time you fill it up.
7:13
SPEAKER_03: Like you kind of just break you go to the Quickie Mart, you grab uh you know, a plastic bag, and you just has like little hooks under there and you have to dunk the nozzle in, and that's how it gets the fuel.
7:24
SPEAKER_04: Single-use gas tanks, yeah.
7:26
SPEAKER_03: Single use gas tank, exactly, with microplastics, also made of stainless steel.
7:31
SPEAKER_03: Yes.
7:32
SPEAKER_03: Okay, yes, and I will still pay$70,000 for it, please and thank you.
7:36
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, by the way, anybody again, we're gonna put the call out there if you own a DeLorean or know someone who does.
7:43
SPEAKER_04: Um, I I was sent a few listings for rentals for DeLoreans, which is not what I was asking for.
7:50
SPEAKER_04: It's I appreciate it, uh, but I was asking something.
7:54
SPEAKER_03: That's something.
7:55
SPEAKER_03: Don't look a gift horse in the mouth, especially if it's Canadian.
7:58
SPEAKER_03: What horsepower does a gift horse have?
8:01
SPEAKER_03: A gift horse has half a horsepower.
8:03
SPEAKER_04: Half a horsepower.
8:04
SPEAKER_04: He gave he gave away the other half.
8:06
SPEAKER_04: He's got a lot of gifts in his mouth.
8:08
SPEAKER_03: I that no, I think Billy Joel.
8:09
SPEAKER_03: That's you're talking about Billy Joel, but okay, yeah, continue.
8:12
SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
8:13
SPEAKER_04: When are we getting Billy Joel on here?
8:14
SPEAKER_04: I've I've sent out the plea to Neil deGrasse Tyson.
8:18
SPEAKER_04: I've said, hey, can we get you on the show?
8:20
SPEAKER_04: Um so far he's not responded.
8:23
SPEAKER_02: That's unfortunate.
8:25
SPEAKER_04: It's I mean, has he?
8:26
SPEAKER_04: Has we have we gotten in moderation mail?
8:30
SPEAKER_02: No.
8:31
SPEAKER_02: No, nothing from Neil deGrasse Tyson.
8:33
SPEAKER_04: He hasn't tried to send you a message trying to reach Leon.
8:36
SPEAKER_04: No, just just PETA.
8:38
SPEAKER_04: Okay, just PETA.
8:40
SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
8:40
SPEAKER_04: Do we want to have PETA on here?
8:42
SPEAKER_04: All of them.
8:44
SPEAKER_00: God, that would be so funny.
8:45
SPEAKER_02: I feel like how we completely derailed the topic of who this person is and why is she here.
8:52
SPEAKER_00: I mean, I half expected that to happen.
8:54
SPEAKER_00: I I listened to the show.
8:55
SPEAKER_00: I know two of you pretty decently.
8:58
SPEAKER_00: I know Mike too well to know to know that he gets derailed so easily.
9:02
SPEAKER_04: Who is not getting derailed is Tracy on her fitness journey.
9:07
SPEAKER_04: She's been doing incredible.
9:09
SPEAKER_04: It's I'm really good at segues, by the way.
9:11
SPEAKER_04: Really good at it.
9:13
SPEAKER_04: Uh you you've been crushing it.
9:15
SPEAKER_04: You've been doing what a lot of people are hoping to be able to do or only dream to do.
9:22
SPEAKER_04: How how have you done it?
9:24
SPEAKER_04: For those listening who are trying to do the same thing, what what what is what is your journey like?
9:30
SPEAKER_00: I think the biggest thing for me is once I realized that consistency was more important than being perfect on something.
9:38
SPEAKER_00: And I think that's what really kind of made me realize that I can do this a little bit more.
9:43
SPEAKER_00: Because in the past I've lost weight, right?
9:45
SPEAKER_00: Like I've done like the 40-pound thing, uh, not in a healthy way at all.
9:50
SPEAKER_00: But it was whenever I wasn't being perfect on something.
9:52
SPEAKER_00: If I overate my calories one day, I was like, well, there it all goes.
9:56
SPEAKER_00: I'm done with my progress.
9:58
SPEAKER_00: Um, I just fucked everything up, even though it was like 200 calories over or whatever, right?
10:04
SPEAKER_00: But this time around, um, obviously it's helped having the support of the community and and all of that.
10:12
SPEAKER_00: But realizing that it's one day of being not being perfect isn't going to ruin any progress that I've had.
10:20
SPEAKER_00: Um, and finding something that I enjoy.
10:22
SPEAKER_00: I really crazy enough actually really enjoy running, which is funny because I did not like it as a kid.
10:28
SPEAKER_00: I often tell people like I would be the goalie in like gym class whenever we played like field hockey or soccer, so I didn't have to run so much.
10:38
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
10:39
SPEAKER_00: And I don't know if y'all, Rob, I don't know if y'all had like the physical fitness test in gym class where you had to run like the mile and you had to do the like stretch test and the pull-up test and all that bullshit stuff.
10:52
SPEAKER_04: I hated the mile.
10:53
SPEAKER_02: Oh, I fucking hated the mile.
10:56
SPEAKER_02: But there was one year where they did like um, we want to see how many like sit-ups and push-ups you can do, but there was never anything bigger than that.
11:06
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, no, this is the same thing.
11:09
SPEAKER_03: The kilometer.
11:11
SPEAKER_00: No, this was this was like um like the mile run was part of it.
11:17
SPEAKER_00: There was sit-ups, push-ups, pull-ups, all that bullshit.
11:21
SPEAKER_00: And we had in my school, the mile was running around the block three times, and I would like cut corners.
11:26
SPEAKER_00: I was consistently getting lapped because I would walk a bunch of it.
11:30
SPEAKER_00: Um, but I was in the hospital last May, May of 2025, with some pretty gnarly heart issues.
11:37
SPEAKER_00: And um, I had uh decided I need to do something to make my heart stronger and started walking, and then I was like, I'm gonna do a little bit more.
11:47
SPEAKER_00: Uh found out there was a 5k on my birthday last year.
11:50
SPEAKER_00: So I did uh couch to 5K program and really enjoyed it and stuck with it.
11:55
SPEAKER_00: You know, I've done a few 5Ks, a 10K, and training for a half.
11:58
SPEAKER_00: So I think the consistency and finding uh movement that you enjoy and also not giving up food that you enjoy, having it in moderation.
12:09
SPEAKER_00: I wish I had my echo effect right now has been really key this time around.
12:14
SPEAKER_00: Um, I'm finding a lot more joy of it, joy in it than uh misery, which is huge.
12:51
SPEAKER_03: Half-assing something the whole time is better than whole assing something for a little bit.
12:58
SPEAKER_00: You guys do it, you guys have the merch.
13:00
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, we'll be right out of the way.
13:04
SPEAKER_00: It's basically just bullying Mike 95% of the time.
13:07
SPEAKER_04: Um look, if they bully me, they can't bully themselves anymore or each other, and then they become empowered and they feel well I'm strong and and impenetrable and and I'm capable of doing this, and then I just become the receptacle of all the you know that they're ills.
13:23
SPEAKER_02: And it's I I mentioned this before.
13:25
SPEAKER_02: I went and I met up with Mike and I saw one of his classes, and I've met Tracy.
13:29
SPEAKER_02: Um and it was pretty profound seeing that, the uh the amount of emotion that was going on.
13:39
SPEAKER_02: And so now we have one of Mike's actual school students here and can actually tell us more about that.
13:44
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, the school, I mean, that community was exactly what I and so many other people needed.
13:51
SPEAKER_00: Um thank you for derailing me, by the way.
13:55
SPEAKER_00: Um no, I the community's been I I think that was a a key piece missing for myself and a lot of other people.
14:02
SPEAKER_00: Um, we do classes four times a week.
14:05
SPEAKER_00: Mike does it Monday, Wednesday, and then Mandy, who's also coaching in the group who's fantastic, who I'm actually living with now.
14:11
SPEAKER_00: Um there's a wild story.
14:13
SPEAKER_00: Um picked up and moved my entire life like a month-ish ago, uh, moving across country with someone that I less than a year, basically.
14:23
SPEAKER_00: Um we're working on that compound.
14:26
SPEAKER_00: Um but so Mandy does uh class on the weekends, and it's it's really just a chance for us to kind of talk about things that we're proud of and things that we're struggling with.
14:36
SPEAKER_00: And um, you know, Mike will do a lesson on on Fridays, and we still there's still a lot of dialogue and stuff, even if it's not talking, you know, on the mic in the chat and stuff.
14:45
SPEAKER_00: We're talking a lot.
14:46
SPEAKER_00: And it's a chance.
14:47
SPEAKER_00: One of the things that I really enjoy is like Mike leads it, right?
14:51
SPEAKER_00: Or Mandy leads it.
14:52
SPEAKER_00: But what I really enjoy is that more and more I'm seeing people in the community pop in, either in the chat offering tips and tricks and advice and support, or they're coming off of mute and they're um saying, Hey, I've struggled with this also.
15:06
SPEAKER_00: Here's kind of what's helped me.
15:08
SPEAKER_00: Have you thought about this XYZ?
15:10
SPEAKER_00: I think that's been something that's been really, really cool to see blossom.
15:14
SPEAKER_00: Because I think when I first started like a year ago, um, I noticed, you know, there was some of that going on, but I've definitely noticed an uptick in it lately, which is one of my favorite things to see is I was just telling Mike and Mandy and a couple other people in the group about this today.
15:27
SPEAKER_00: Like one of my favorite things has been to see people who were quiet and not really saying much kind of be the people that are now sort of like mini-coaching the people that are newer on their journey and newer to the group.
15:40
SPEAKER_04: It's and this can be done anywhere.
15:42
SPEAKER_04: It's it's so important to have people who are like doing the things that you're doing and have similar goals and aspirations.
15:51
SPEAKER_04: It's it can be frustrating, like in your case, where you had friends who were not on your journey, and they're under no obligation to care, but it you have to find people that do.
16:04
SPEAKER_04: And it's success becomes a whole lot easier if you can do it alongside people who are on that same journey with you.
16:11
SPEAKER_02: Definitely.
16:12
SPEAKER_06: Yeah.
16:13
SPEAKER_03: It's not not even just for like a weight loss thing.
16:15
SPEAKER_03: There's so many things that just for like just a community that you're that you're around.
16:19
SPEAKER_03: I mean, I've this is something they've talked about, you know, looking at the blue zones, right?
16:23
SPEAKER_03: I've talked about that before where people live long lives, you know, the diet, exercise, but also just having a strong community around you.
16:31
SPEAKER_03: A lot of times, I think in those regions they can it's religion, but it doesn't have to be.
16:36
SPEAKER_03: I think that's one of the the reasons I think religion can be very positive, is just it has you you have a uh supportive group around you.
16:43
SPEAKER_03: That's what it comes down to.
16:45
SPEAKER_03: And you know, weight loss is no different.
16:48
SPEAKER_03: It really helps.
16:49
SPEAKER_04: I know the three of us, we tend to have a good number of people that are listening to us or watching us that feel alone or feel outcasted, or you know, we may be the first person that has made them feel like maybe they do have value or uh they can get through this journey on their own.
17:07
SPEAKER_04: And it's we are just one example of a person who shares your values and thoughts.
17:14
SPEAKER_04: It's we're not an anomaly.
17:16
SPEAKER_04: It's there, there's there's a lot more of you out there than you realize.
17:19
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I mean when I is such a needed thing, and I think something people definitely find hard to find.
17:27
SPEAKER_02: Especially when you look at the stereotypes of the gym and how you have to be this rough, tough, grizzled person, and you go online and you see these people that are just yelling at each other and all of that.
17:41
SPEAKER_02: Why is the fitness space so fucking angry?
17:44
SPEAKER_04: Can we talk about this?
17:45
SPEAKER_04: No, besides the question.
17:47
SPEAKER_04: There's just so many angry people.
17:49
SPEAKER_03: And Liam, you handle it so well.
17:52
SPEAKER_03: Do you oh I love listen, it's fun.
17:55
SPEAKER_03: I love just fucking around with shit and just like through comedy is is is the best.
18:01
SPEAKER_03: I I I love it.
18:03
SPEAKER_03: People are angry about you know, whatever it is, whether it's food, fitness, doesn't matter, just laugh at it.
18:09
SPEAKER_03: Like I kept getting sent this video of a woman just like you know, talking about how terrible oats are for you, and horses eat oats.
18:16
SPEAKER_03: And I'm like, all right, well, I gotta have some fucking fun with this.
18:20
SPEAKER_03: And you know, I like record a video or like, yeah, no, that exactly.
18:24
SPEAKER_03: She gets it.
18:25
SPEAKER_03: Whatever you eat, like that's what you become.
18:26
SPEAKER_03: That's why I eat 40 pounds of vegetation a day.
18:29
SPEAKER_03: I'm trying to get as jacked as a gorilla, okay?
18:32
SPEAKER_03: I'm almost there, I'm so close.
18:35
SPEAKER_03: Like, you know, just like through humor and just fucking like, yeah, duh.
18:38
SPEAKER_03: And then she has like a video of herself um using uh butter as toothpaste.
18:44
SPEAKER_03: And I'm like, oh, perfect.
18:45
SPEAKER_03: Here we go.
18:46
SPEAKER_03: Like, you know, just like carry gold.
18:49
SPEAKER_03: But you gotta make sure it's grass-fed butter.
18:51
SPEAKER_03: You don't want to be using that like fucking conventional butter almost that would be that would cause cavities, right?
18:57
SPEAKER_03: Grass-fed heals cavities, I'm sure.
19:01
SPEAKER_04: Have you guys ever bitten into a stick of butter?
19:03
SPEAKER_03: Oh, it's I don't that wouldn't be bad.
19:07
SPEAKER_03: It's bad.
19:09
SPEAKER_03: But they would convince you that it's a big thing.
19:11
SPEAKER_02: Stick to drinking the milk raw out of the carton.
19:13
SPEAKER_03: But not raw milk.
19:14
SPEAKER_02: Not raw.
19:14
SPEAKER_02: Not raw milk.
19:15
SPEAKER_03: It's just about as well raw.
19:17
SPEAKER_04: Whoa.
19:18
SPEAKER_04: Like not putting chocolate in there or something like to cut the fact that it tastes like milk.
19:23
SPEAKER_04: Not tuberculosis is what he's talking about.
19:25
SPEAKER_03: You know, that's different.
19:26
SPEAKER_02: Drinking milk raw, not drinking raw milk.
19:30
SPEAKER_03: It's like drinking raw dog milk.
19:33
SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
19:33
SPEAKER_03: I'm not drinking raw milk.
19:35
SPEAKER_03: Let's be clear.
19:36
SPEAKER_03: I'll raw dog a lot of things, but I will not drink raw milk.
19:40
SPEAKER_04: Brought to you by the vasectomy lobby.
19:42
SPEAKER_04: Big vasectomy has sponsored this episode.
19:45
SPEAKER_02: You know who got a vasectomy?
19:46
SPEAKER_04: Who?
19:47
SPEAKER_02: Han, the coffee guy we had on.
19:49
SPEAKER_04: Oh.
19:51
SPEAKER_04: Okay.
19:52
SPEAKER_04: Very nice.
19:52
SPEAKER_04: Congratulations, Han.
19:54
SPEAKER_04: I hope you're healing well.
19:55
SPEAKER_03: I think we should just give it to everyone, whether they want it or not.
19:58
SPEAKER_03: Like, you know, just say we go.
20:00
SPEAKER_03: You just usher them in.
20:01
SPEAKER_03: No, no, no.
20:02
SPEAKER_03: Don't it's fine.
20:03
SPEAKER_03: It's fine.
20:04
SPEAKER_03: This way.
20:05
SPEAKER_03: It's gonna be all of the blue arrows.
20:06
SPEAKER_04: So wait, wait, we're tricking them into coming into the building.
20:09
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, exactly.
20:10
SPEAKER_03: Women too.
20:11
SPEAKER_03: Like, no, it doesn't matter.
20:12
SPEAKER_03: So, what happens when they get there?
20:15
SPEAKER_03: Figure that part out.
20:16
SPEAKER_03: That's not the important part of this.
20:17
SPEAKER_03: We try anyway.
20:19
SPEAKER_03: We try anyway.
20:20
SPEAKER_03: We everyone.
20:21
SPEAKER_03: We are inclusive.
20:22
SPEAKER_03: Fucking Mike.
20:23
SPEAKER_03: Mike's trying to exclude women from my force vasectomies.
20:28
SPEAKER_03: I'm trying to save women.
20:30
SPEAKER_03: Mike hates women, is what I'm hearing.
20:32
SPEAKER_03: No.
20:32
SPEAKER_03: No.
20:33
SPEAKER_03: I'm trying to be, I'm trying to be think of women and be inclusive and let them in on the vasectomies.
20:39
SPEAKER_03: For too long.
20:40
SPEAKER_03: Women haven't been able to get vasectomies.
20:42
SPEAKER_03: And I want to, yeah.
20:45
SPEAKER_03: You know what?
20:45
SPEAKER_03: Vasectomies and vasectomies for all.
20:48
SPEAKER_03: Vasectomies.
20:49
SPEAKER_03: Exactly.
20:49
SPEAKER_03: That's what I want on the front.
20:51
SPEAKER_03: That's for the sign I want out front.
20:54
SPEAKER_03: Whether you're a vasectomy or a vasectise, get on in here.
20:59
SPEAKER_03: You're coming in to have two small incisions made.
21:02
SPEAKER_03: You get to come in anywhere.
21:03
SPEAKER_03: That's what's great about vasectomies.
21:05
SPEAKER_03: But not ears.
21:06
SPEAKER_03: Well, for different reasons.
21:08
SPEAKER_03: There's different reasons.
21:09
SPEAKER_03: Why not, Rob?
21:10
SPEAKER_03: Is that a problem?
21:11
SPEAKER_02: Go listen to episode 97 and find out.
21:13
SPEAKER_04: Why do you know that?
21:14
SPEAKER_04: What was episode 97?
21:15
SPEAKER_04: I was on episode 97.
21:17
SPEAKER_04: Were you?
21:17
SPEAKER_04: I think.
21:18
SPEAKER_02: Actually, I don't know if it's 97.
21:19
SPEAKER_04: I think that was the ear one.
21:20
SPEAKER_03: I don't think you were on the ear one.
21:22
SPEAKER_02: It was yeah, I don't think you were with the other one.
21:24
SPEAKER_04: I don't think so, Mike.
21:24
SPEAKER_04: You weren't on the ear one.
21:26
SPEAKER_04: I know at that point I was transitioning into being on here for every episode.
21:31
SPEAKER_04: Because I hosted a hundred, um, where I had pitched that we interview you guys as the guests.
21:40
SPEAKER_04: Um, we don't have episode numbers anymore.
21:44
SPEAKER_04: What do you mean, episode 97?
21:46
SPEAKER_03: Look up ear one.
21:47
SPEAKER_03: I don't know.
21:47
SPEAKER_03: Look up ear sex.
21:48
SPEAKER_04: I don't know.
21:49
SPEAKER_04: I'm on Spotify.
21:51
SPEAKER_04: I'm back to uh October 2nd.
21:55
SPEAKER_02: It would have been December.
21:58
unknown: December.
21:58
SPEAKER_03: This is weird.
22:02
SPEAKER_03: I'm telling Mike he wasn't on it.
22:03
SPEAKER_03: He's like, no, I refuse to believe you.
22:06
SPEAKER_03: I must have been on that episode.
22:08
SPEAKER_03: I'm gonna find proof.
22:09
SPEAKER_03: Okay, so we've got to find shit.
22:12
SPEAKER_04: Fitness after 50 with my parents are on uh for Christmas.
22:15
SPEAKER_04: We got December 18th.
22:17
SPEAKER_04: We explore how lifting big rocks collides with gender, equity, and community.
22:23
SPEAKER_04: I don't remember any.
22:24
SPEAKER_04: I got nothing.
22:26
SPEAKER_04: But okay, uh, we've got body neutrality and toxic positivity.
22:29
SPEAKER_04: I know I was there for that.
22:31
unknown: Yeah.
22:31
SPEAKER_04: From eating disorder.
22:34
SPEAKER_03: I remember specifically.
22:35
SPEAKER_03: It's me.
22:35
SPEAKER_03: I remember specifically because I I I had the hard hitting questions of that episode.
22:41
SPEAKER_03: I remember because uh I asked her about the Family Guy episode where they start having ear sex, and then there's a whole like trend, there's a whole slogan of once you go black once you go black you go deaf and then I had to ask all of these questions myself and you weren't there.
22:55
SPEAKER_03: She had some good answers though.
22:56
SPEAKER_04: It was good.
22:57
SPEAKER_04: Who's she do we have an ear sex expert?
23:00
SPEAKER_03: Well she was more of just kind of an ear she she did stuff with the ear so like obviously sex is like a part of everything.
23:07
SPEAKER_04: So we we figured most of the episode would just be that no okay Rob play the entire episode right now start to finish and then we'll cut back to this episode.
23:18
SPEAKER_03: The whole just the whole episode like in 72 minutes.
23:22
SPEAKER_04: Not even a clip starts so you're you're about to hear the inmoderation intro a second time but fear not don't touch your dial this is us.
23:32
SPEAKER_03: You're just listening to an entirely different episode inside of this one.
23:37
SPEAKER_03: Oh guys I'm talking oh it's only 53 minutes wow this is a quick episode I was not here for this and who is not in this episode Rob Rob who is not in that episode oh wow can you see I see three people and there's Doctor and there's Dr.
23:59
SPEAKER_04: question mark do you do you see Don Pardo at the beginning of a Saturday Night Live episode?
24:05
SPEAKER_04: No but it doesn't feel like one without him making the announcement it's Saturday Night Live starring Rob Laffam.
24:14
SPEAKER_03: See you don't see him you don't know what he looks like I like how in that episode we actually started off with like saying hey and hello and not just opening up with like so which hole is the worst hole or you know whatever fucking nonsense we have now like we just say some fucking terrible thing right at the beginning.
24:31
SPEAKER_03: It's the show has evolved over the over the years.
24:35
SPEAKER_02: The show has evolved basically that's back when I organized the show and now Mike organizes the show.
24:41
SPEAKER_02: But let's let's define organized yeah that's that's exactly the that's exactly where we're going there is no organization.
24:49
SPEAKER_04: So the idea here is that I was supposed to be bringing on guests and unfortunately I work a lot and so it doesn't tend to come up in the day.
25:00
SPEAKER_04: And then we get to Wednesday and we're texting in our group chat and we'll go hey what are we doing and I'll go fuck it's Wednesday.
25:06
SPEAKER_02: I'm just I'm just saying you're acting like we went that's where you go to the next room over and you grab Tracy and drag her in.
25:12
SPEAKER_03: Right.
25:13
SPEAKER_03: You're acting but like you're Mike's acting like we went from like I don't know Charmander to Charizard and it was more like we went from like the nutcracker to Joe Rogan.
25:22
SPEAKER_04: Like there was wait a minute how many subscribers does the nutcracker have let's check on that how many Spotify subscribers does the nutcracker have I would guess less than Joe Rogan would be my guess.
25:43
SPEAKER_04: It says the the the nutcracker is a musical composition and ballet by that's that's not a podcast you play TikTok what are you trying to get at not an artist with individual subscribers but its composer's profile on Spotify has roughly 4.97 million monthly listeners and about 1.6 million followers.
26:05
SPEAKER_04: I need to make a disclaimer I'm not defending Joe Rogan he's got 14 million followers on Spotify making him the most popular show on the app oh really I see my time so we're doing better is what you're saying.
26:16
SPEAKER_04: We're doing way better.
26:17
SPEAKER_03: Good good we've got a bunch of people who are willing to take horse tranquilizer as medicine when they get a stuff he knows but yeah I wish kind of like when you said we're doing better it just cut to us talking about the food bucket and fucking prison door slots and fucking ear sacs and just like everything just like all this is fucking horrible shit.
26:39
SPEAKER_04: Can we get a super cut of every product that we've pitched can somebody out there put that together for us we'll send you the first in moderation nutrition alpha water because we ain't no beta bitch coming to you soon.
26:55
SPEAKER_04: What if we make beta water what would that be beta water sigma water.
27:00
SPEAKER_00: We just make them all go through the whole alpha water for yeah they've already got alpha water we make beta water it's just like I don't know it's that water from the lake that we were at today we went kayak we went kayaking today we did we all went kaycking it's great that uh water was pretty pretty green pretty nasty so I think maybe that beta water would be I would say we get in trouble by the FDA but they don't seem to give a shit anymore like all their funding is gone.
27:30
SPEAKER_04: So we can kind of just do what we have to do is put all natural on it right we'll visit the White House we'll go oh Mr Trump please could could you could you maybe make a go away?
27:41
SPEAKER_04: And um and they were adding testosterone to it the water and they're like oh for sure totally it's fine then does it make people wear jeans and no shirt yes it does no no get it out there test it's gotta be um what are we adding uh fricking like uh god damn it I'm blanking Primaball what is it what's that crystal water where they like run it over a crystal to infuse it you guys seen that it's it's supposed to be like a healing thing it's again this is it doesn't actually heal you they're just like running water over a crystal and putting it into bottles and then charging 30 the person who is selling this had claimed that it cured their cancer.
28:23
SPEAKER_04: It was this woman who had said like yeah it if you have this water it's in the in the wand or whatever it'll cure the cancer and you'll be better and obviously that's not true.
28:34
SPEAKER_04: According to Mike not with that idea Jesus anyway use code Liam.
28:40
SPEAKER_04: Use code K by for 15% off of your magic cancer stick.
28:44
SPEAKER_04: You'll be saying K by before you know it.
28:47
SPEAKER_04: Out of 10.
28:48
SPEAKER_02: Okay so Tracy aside of this moment right now what's been your best moment with Mike oh that's hard.
28:55
SPEAKER_02: He's just okay I don't want to hear about that.
28:57
SPEAKER_03: No keep stop forget about the time he was blaming its own feces like a month ago.
29:03
SPEAKER_03: Let's just ignore that one.
29:06
SPEAKER_00: I know he does it all the time he claps it's it's very messy but besides there's so much shit to clean up all the time I shit myself and it started jumping so it just shoots up my back.
29:17
SPEAKER_00: He was talking about shitting himself a lot today when we were kayaking because of the beta water.
29:23
SPEAKER_00: Because of the beta water that's just what he does he just shits himself.
29:26
SPEAKER_00: Why don't we ever go to a body of water that can give us the brain microbes the brain microbes you know the brain microbes that eat your brain like when you go to like still water and it yeah you jump in and it just eats your brain eating amoeba yeah the brain eating amoeba why did that exactly go to that yeah uh this is a real question we're looking if you get the brain eating amoeba you want to I think we can organize that for you okay for my birthday done pretty please great just don't shoot yourself last year it was a DeLorean Lego set this year it's a brain eating amoeba Rob to answer your question uh I think oh man you know what one of the times I was most proud of him was uh our we did a 10k in Colorado in Boulder um and he said he I was gonna be there for that but then my dad died I'm sorry we wanted you there next one we'll get you there at the next one um or we'll be up in Canada for the next one who knows uh on the wrong side of Canada we'll we'll still get you there you can carpool with a couple people it's fine but no Mike was not gonna run it at all he had planned to I think walk most of it if not all of it uh and I crossed the finish line and I'm looking for him and motherfucker beat my time by like three or four minutes he ran the whole thing or most of it um what as much as I could as much as you could um but that was that was really really cool to see um because he pushed himself and and it was really difficult because it was at really high elevation um and so I I don't know I was just super proud of you for that that makes the air thinner for those who don't know what effect that has it it it is harder to breathe and your body is slower and less efficient.
31:29
SPEAKER_02: Yeah the first thing I told them was get some oxygen tanks like literal oxygen tanks.
31:36
SPEAKER_00: You know what we didn't too we didn't get any oxygen tanks they didn't listen to me.
31:40
SPEAKER_00: Yep we didn't listen but yeah I think that was one of the coolest moments and I think just like we talked about this today at dinner too was um seeing Mike when he was here in Austin uh during that first meetup doing that live lesson and seeing him live in coach mode and his ability to make everyone fucking cry all the time and see it in person and see how it affects other people in person and in the crash.
32:07
SPEAKER_00: The good cry the good like a bad cry when he shits himself but that's just from the stench we all cry halfway through my quiet and my eyes are Mike you forgot to unmute yourself.
32:20
SPEAKER_04: I don't think what I was saying was important to be honest.
32:22
SPEAKER_00: Poop joke go on Tracy um but seeing how he can connect with with everyone no matter where they're at in the journey is is really really awesome to see I mean we see it in class all the time but to see it in person was was really cool and just really proud of the work that he's put into this group and proud of everyone in the group for doing really amazing things.
32:42
SPEAKER_00: Yeah it's it's really cool to see to see people flourish and become a better version of themselves Mike included because coaches aren't exempt from that.
32:52
SPEAKER_04: No that meetup I was this close to not being a coach anymore.
32:58
SPEAKER_04: Like I I was social media was stressing me out I was having some really difficult personal life situation circumstances um and I was like I don't know if I'm gonna keep doing this anymore.
33:12
SPEAKER_04: I don't know if I'm gonna keep I wasn't gonna like kill myself or anything.
33:16
SPEAKER_04: Like I've I've beaten that but um it's I was just like maybe it's time for something else.
33:21
SPEAKER_04: Maybe it's time to try something new.
33:23
SPEAKER_04: And getting to have that in-person experience with everybody changed my mind.
33:31
SPEAKER_04: And also having seen Tracy come this far I am not your typical like you know hear your calories and hear your exercise is like that kind of a coach.
33:44
SPEAKER_04: Those coaches are fantastic.
33:46
SPEAKER_04: There's plenty of them if that's what you're looking for if you're at a place where you're just ready for the plan and ready to go um by all means go check them out.
33:54
SPEAKER_04: I'm working on my own programs there.
33:57
SPEAKER_04: But what I am is I am the person who is is there to help the people who keep trying those plans and keep failing at them for one reason or another and can't figure out why that is.
34:09
SPEAKER_04: If it was just a matter of just keep your calories down and keep your exercises going, yes, biologically speaking that is the process by which weight loss occurs it doesn't happen any other way not through hormone balancing or any of that bullshit.
34:25
SPEAKER_04: But it's it's as much a mental game as it is a physical game and if you don't have that mentality and that mindset it's going to be much more difficult.
34:34
SPEAKER_04: And so getting to see Tracy from the start there like a year ago not having the kind of confidence that she has now and the the willingness to say you know fuck you I'm I'm doing what I want to do that's the stuff that you don't get from my fitness pal is is that kind of a change and it's it's one of the reasons why having a community is so important.
35:00
SPEAKER_04: Because you'll have people to to work on that with and to run things by and if if you are struggling alone on a weight loss journey find a friend who's going the same direction as you uh Tracy has found many and has been that friend for many.
35:17
SPEAKER_05: And um crying after this aren't you I can see it it's I can see it.
35:23
SPEAKER_02: We're gonna touch camera and you two are just gonna go hug and have a little cry.
35:28
SPEAKER_04: Getting to see you say fuck you is uh I I is gonna say I'm gonna say that's that's my my favorite Tracy moment and it happens a lot now.
35:39
SPEAKER_05: She just said fuck you to her hometown and uh moved all the way here.
35:44
SPEAKER_03: She has less rights here.
35:47
SPEAKER_03: I think everyone needs to say fuck you to their hometown at least a little bit.
35:50
SPEAKER_03: They do.
35:51
SPEAKER_04: As I did uh when I came here to Texas uh a couple of years ago I said fuck you to my hometown it was scary as hell but I needed to now I care about less shit like it I'm not affected by as much I'm not as scared by as many things.
36:05
SPEAKER_02: You know what I have to say fuck you guys because now I'm stuck back in my hometown literally in the house I grew up in.
36:12
SPEAKER_04: It's it's it's a temporary it's temporary.
36:14
SPEAKER_04: You'll be there for now is it?
36:16
SPEAKER_02: Yes and it's a nice house.
36:18
SPEAKER_03: Why would you it's never no it's gonna burn down is what it's gonna it's just temporary oh Mike yeah you know I'll make sure the insurance is up to date house canadi insurance does that work is that they have that or no yeah they pay them out in loonies it's not real that right doesn't like work anywhere the really nice the really nice houses get tunies oh now you're talking eh we got loonies tunies throonies spoonies Goonies what else don't forget our monopoly money the monopoly money I love Canadian money I have a Canadian like five dollar bill or something and it's super it's blue.
37:01
SPEAKER_03: It's I don't know I went to this ramen place and they have all dollar bills all over the wall but they also have people put money from other countries and I'm like damn our money fucking blows like it got like so many fun colors and cool shit and we're just like oh green uh another dead guy no this this one's got some orange undertones this one has a tree and like okay cool like I want something fun give me like the colors give me some pizzazz give me some je ne sais quoi give me fucking something here can we get some cartoon characters on the Bills oh why does it have to be like an Elmer Fudd on that shit I'd be paying in nothing but funds.
37:41
SPEAKER_03: How many funds you got how many funds does that cost it's like it it's not even all of them are presidents.
37:46
SPEAKER_04: You just got some dude oh no who's on there so I'm like you know get rid of never a president but oh sure he gets to be on the money the fuck he was the 16th best like meanwhile Einstein was a president we got him on the money it doesn't make any none of it makes any sense doesn't make any sense at all uh you know we're gonna say fuck you to the Treasury right now if the treasury's listening don't email us we don't care you we pay your salaries it's we own the only good one was the Sakawe coins and that's why I pay for everything with those people get mad when I have to buy like a car they're not happy about it.
38:20
SPEAKER_03: I mean that shit weighs like a a kilogram or whatever I don't know.
38:25
SPEAKER_04: Every couple of weeks when when your car runs out of gas and you have to buy a new car.
38:29
SPEAKER_03: Yes exactly get back on the road you can force them through the food slot of like here's more coins here's more here's another bag and it's like just like coins everywhere.
38:41
SPEAKER_04: How how much can a DeLorean tow?
38:43
SPEAKER_04: Hold on towing the weeds you're gonna have to get um the DeLorean DMC12 has no official towing capacity and the manufacturer does not recommend never doing that.
38:58
SPEAKER_04: Don't do it checks out the thing is here's the thing the the DeLorean DMC12 the problem is it is damn near 3,000 pounds which for a small vehicle like that is excessive like a Toyota Corolla is going to be half that so it it's it's just you can't the fact that people can go in there and it can still move sometimes is a miracle.
39:23
SPEAKER_02: But if you put it put it on the top of a mountain you're gonna travel through time.
39:28
SPEAKER_04: Yes that is true I think that might have been in a movie or something.
39:32
SPEAKER_03: So you're are you saying that stainless steel for car wasn't the best decision or you know let's ask John DeLorean.
39:40
SPEAKER_03: No we should let's get him on the show I've been saying this for weeks.
39:43
SPEAKER_02: We did put it out there that you know any mediums that would like to summon John DeLorean for us.
39:49
SPEAKER_04: Wait he's dead Rob's a now I'm just learning about this this is not the way to be told I I we probably should have told you off air thank you yeah yeah for sure now I'm gonna cry yeah this is a this is a lack of tact here yeah I we could we could have been a little bit more kind about this I'm sorry.
40:09
SPEAKER_04: Apology not accepted but we can keep going great so I'm gonna my next fuck you moment will be to you right now you know what oh actually this might be a good okay so I I've said fuck you plenty of times on my journey and I think it's been necessary.
40:24
SPEAKER_04: Tracy's heard me say this a thousand times rule number one I've got a list of life rules that I live by.
40:30
SPEAKER_04: It's they're in my my phone and if it's something that I feel like it it's important enough to remember I just chunk it into the list.
40:37
SPEAKER_04: There's only one rule that is numbered and it's number one and it is you don't get to finish this journey with well that's rule number three.
40:45
SPEAKER_04: Rule number two is lube up rule number one is if he's being nice uh rule number one is you don't get to finish this journey without pissing someone off.
40:55
SPEAKER_04: And I feel like I was stuck on my journey for a long time because I was unwilling to be a nuisance or a bother to anybody.
41:03
SPEAKER_04: And this included people who did not care to see me grow.
41:06
SPEAKER_04: So it's I'm not telling you to go out there and be an asshole and cause trouble, but like if if there's somebody who's just holding you back and it's never going to be the person that is comfortable to say fuck you two um it's sometimes you just have to do your now the fuck you is symbolic.
41:24
SPEAKER_04: It's not you literally saying it but in taking the action of say leaving Minnesota when everybody had something to say about it.
41:33
SPEAKER_04: Right?
41:33
SPEAKER_04: Like that's a fuck you you didn't go around with a middle finger to everybody but you did what you wanted to do despite what they wanted you to do.
41:41
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
41:42
SPEAKER_04: And that's important.
41:45
SPEAKER_02: And I I wanted that to do is to Mike because he he's gonna make my audio editing a nightmare with his constant turning away from the microphone.
41:53
SPEAKER_02: You can't fix that.
41:54
SPEAKER_03: You don't have to edit anything we leave all that in my my rule was my rule was you can't finish without a vasectomy and that's why I went and got one and then it was all fine.
42:04
SPEAKER_02: And then you can finish anywhere you want.
42:06
SPEAKER_03: And now it now is that is why I am a proponent of everyone getting one.
42:10
SPEAKER_03: Did I have my microphone muted that whole time no yeah we just stared at you in silence the whole fucking time yeah we didn't say anything.
42:17
SPEAKER_03: I looked over my microphone was muted I don't know what we're like we're like yeah fuck Mike let's just let him speak into nothing.
42:23
SPEAKER_04: That's because here's the thing I'm always concerned that I have dementia and nobody's telling me right like it's because I the people that have it they don't know they have it.
42:32
SPEAKER_04: Fair it but everyone's like yes yes Mike of course yeah and and we're not approved yeah right be kind to yourself yeah cool cool cool like I don't are you guys doing that to me I don't know you know I have a really important question for you Mike the fact that there was no confirming or denying but go on.
42:51
SPEAKER_02: Were you wearing a nice lovely like off shoulder blouse today?
42:56
SPEAKER_04: So me and Tracy were on the water and we're kayaking back to the dock right and it's it was just we just kept going up and up and upstream trying to figure out where the dock is and I start thinking to myself was the dock actually on the right side or was it on the left side?
43:16
SPEAKER_04: Because I I am absolutely certain that it was on the the left side to our left and I keep looking I keep looking I don't see it and I'm thinking to myself it happened I've got the dementia it's there.
43:28
SPEAKER_02: I am so I may have been wearing a blouse today I don't know tell me I'm pretty I mean it I just noticed you you know you got a nice tan going on the traps and then from the biceps down but then you're white right here.
43:41
SPEAKER_02: So that is you know just a nice nice off shoulder blouse.
43:45
SPEAKER_04: That is a tattoo.
43:46
SPEAKER_04: I have gotten the tattoo of of yeah being pale from here up it is permanent I could get a tan and this would just be a darker shade of white and this would be a darker shade of red.
43:57
SPEAKER_04: Smart.
43:57
SPEAKER_04: Yes.
43:58
SPEAKER_03: Can we do an episode where we just don't say a damn word 40 minutes just wait oh what if we say oh I have an idea I have an idea I have an idea I have an idea I got an idea.
44:10
SPEAKER_03: So what we do is we say that we're all we're trying to be more inclusive and we want to learn sign language.
44:17
SPEAKER_03: And so we do the entire episode just in of the podcast just in sign language.
44:21
SPEAKER_03: Oh in the special and then anybody who says like this wasn't a good idea we say go fuck yourself.
44:26
SPEAKER_02: We are trying to be inclusive to the deaf you fuckers in the are we using are we using a real sign language or the special South African sign language from Nelson Mandela's funeral?
44:37
SPEAKER_01: Oh I wait.
44:39
SPEAKER_02: I don't think I know about that no was that the person who had no sign language Nelson Mandela's funeral they had the sign language guy who was m signing But he wasn't being because it was being broadcast worldwide.
44:52
SPEAKER_02: People were like, uh, I don't understand this.
44:54
SPEAKER_02: He was faking sign language.
44:56
SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
44:56
SPEAKER_03: There's been a couple times that's happened where someone just said they can do it and they can't.
45:00
SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
45:01
SPEAKER_04: Should we could can we have a sign language interpreter on for one episode?
45:06
SPEAKER_04: We don't talk to them at all.
45:07
SPEAKER_04: We just have them in the corner.
45:08
SPEAKER_02: Uh Rissa actually knows sign language.
45:10
SPEAKER_02: You can bring her back.
45:11
SPEAKER_04: That'd be cool.
45:13
SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
45:14
SPEAKER_04: So we can't do that.
45:14
SPEAKER_02: Go figure the early hearing doctor knows sign language.
45:17
SPEAKER_04: Is this the one that said ear sex is a no-go?
45:19
SPEAKER_04: Yes.
45:19
SPEAKER_04: I don't want to get an ear sex positive one.
45:23
SPEAKER_02: Oh, okay.
45:24
SPEAKER_02: Hold on.
45:25
SPEAKER_02: Let me more.
45:27
SPEAKER_04: This Google search is going to be real weird.
45:29
SPEAKER_04: If ear sex makes you deaf, wouldn't this be good as a sign language interpreter to make people want to do?
45:36
SPEAKER_02: Sorry, Rissa.
45:37
SPEAKER_02: Mike says you can't come back.
45:39
SPEAKER_02: He wants an ear sex positive ear doctor on.
45:43
SPEAKER_04: It's like, look, if I'm making my money as a sign language interpreter, I want to make more people deaf.
45:47
SPEAKER_04: Right?
45:48
SPEAKER_04: Like, and I want so I'm going to be encouraging ear sex.
45:51
SPEAKER_04: We're saying, hey, go go do it in both ear.
45:54
SPEAKER_04: DP it, my friend.
45:55
SPEAKER_04: Go have fun.
45:56
SPEAKER_04: And then I'm going to make bank as a sign language interpreter.
46:00
SPEAKER_04: Right, right.
46:02
SPEAKER_04: No one can hear.
46:03
SPEAKER_04: Everyone's got their ears fucked.
46:05
SPEAKER_04: And you know, look, I'm trying to be inclusive.
46:07
SPEAKER_04: Right.
46:08
SPEAKER_04: That's the goal here.
46:09
SPEAKER_00: I think that's just asking for a malpractice lawsuit.
46:11
SPEAKER_04: I'm not a doctor, weenie.
46:14
SPEAKER_04: So it's I can't be sued for malpractice.
46:16
SPEAKER_03: Just because I'm not practicing.
46:19
SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
46:19
SPEAKER_03: Just slap one of those legs.
46:20
SPEAKER_03: What was his name?
46:21
SPEAKER_03: You're fine.
46:22
SPEAKER_02: What was that guy's name?
46:23
SPEAKER_02: Um God, John Bowden.
46:26
SPEAKER_02: No, the the guy that um the African city.
46:31
SPEAKER_02: They tried to sue him for malpractice.
46:33
SPEAKER_03: Oh, you're talking about Dr.
46:35
SPEAKER_03: Savi.
46:36
SPEAKER_02: Sevy.
46:37
SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
46:37
SPEAKER_02: That's exactly what happened.
46:38
SPEAKER_02: They tried to go after Dr.
46:40
SPEAKER_02: Savvy for malpractice, and it basically was like, he's not a doctor, so you can't sue him.
46:46
SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
46:46
SPEAKER_04: So I want Paul Saladin also.
46:49
SPEAKER_02: His fans are like, um, yeah, he beat the he beat the lawsuit against him.
46:54
SPEAKER_02: And it's like, no, he got out of it because a technicality.
46:58
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, he's like he he he's like Dr.
47:01
SPEAKER_04: Pepper.
47:02
unknown: Dr.
47:02
SPEAKER_04: Pepper.
47:03
SPEAKER_04: It's not it's it is or Dr.
47:05
SPEAKER_04: Dre.
47:06
SPEAKER_04: Dr.
47:06
SPEAKER_04: Pepper says seed oils are terrible.
47:08
SPEAKER_04: Drink Dr.
47:09
SPEAKER_04: Pepper.
47:10
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, it's like you don't you don't want to be like you know on a plane and somebody's going like, hey, you know, does anybody hear a doctor?
47:18
SPEAKER_04: And then like you get the spin doctors that stand up.
47:20
SPEAKER_04: Like, oh, we got two of them.
47:21
SPEAKER_04: Right, right.
47:22
SPEAKER_04: A doctor of art history.
47:24
SPEAKER_04: Which, by the way, is exactly the same way that I feel about chiropractors.
47:27
SPEAKER_04: And I've got a video sitting in my drafts about it.
47:29
SPEAKER_04: I'm like, yeah, a chiropractor is a doctor in the same way that you'd be thrilled to hear about a doctor of literature on a plane to help you through a heart attack.
47:37
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
47:38
SPEAKER_04: Like it's yeah, great.
47:40
SPEAKER_04: Like, hey, does anybody here know like a Shakespeare sonnet?
47:45
SPEAKER_04: Please stand up.
47:46
SPEAKER_04: Someone is dying.
47:47
SPEAKER_03: If you were having a heart attack on a plane, what TV doctor would you want to be by your side?
47:52
SPEAKER_02: Ooh.
47:54
SPEAKER_02: Dr.
47:54
SPEAKER_02: House.
47:55
SPEAKER_03: I was thinking Dr.
47:56
SPEAKER_03: House because it'd be kind of funny, but he'd also just But then he would just tell you you have lupus.
48:01
SPEAKER_03: He's gonna mess around.
48:03
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, he's gonna give you a lot of shit.
48:05
SPEAKER_04: He's gonna let you go to the verge of death, and then he's gonna solve it, right?
48:09
SPEAKER_04: Like he's gotta play for 20 minutes so they can sell ass.
48:13
SPEAKER_03: I feel like if I was going that route, I'd rather have like Dr.
48:15
SPEAKER_03: Cox from Scrubs.
48:17
SPEAKER_03: Like he kind of gives you a little bit of shit, but like he's also sort of nice, like he's got a he's got a good heart, you know what I'm saying?
48:23
SPEAKER_00: That's who I was thinking is Dr.
48:24
SPEAKER_03: Cox from I originally I was thinking Turk from Scrubs as well.
48:28
SPEAKER_03: Like Turk's also he'd be really cool.
48:30
SPEAKER_00: Whoever Noah Wiley plays on Pit or ER too.
48:34
SPEAKER_00: I feel like I feel like he would like legitimately, like in real life, know that shit too, because he's played a doctor basically his whole life.
48:40
SPEAKER_04: What about you, Rob?
48:41
SPEAKER_04: I don't know enough TV.
48:43
SPEAKER_04: I don't know enough TV.
48:44
SPEAKER_04: What sort of Canadian cable programming?
48:47
SPEAKER_04: Was Merlin a doctor?
48:48
SPEAKER_02: I I legit don't know enough TV.
48:51
SPEAKER_04: I would have red green work on me.
48:53
SPEAKER_04: He'd come up with it.
48:56
SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
48:57
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, he'll fix you up with some duct tape.
48:59
SPEAKER_04: He's still around.
49:00
SPEAKER_04: Have we reached out to him yet to get him on the show?
49:03
SPEAKER_02: Not yet.
49:04
SPEAKER_04: Red Green Contact Information.
49:08
SPEAKER_02: He has a uh production company.
49:11
SPEAKER_02: You'd contact him through that.
49:13
SPEAKER_04: Oh, here it is.
49:14
SPEAKER_04: Contact red green.
49:15
SPEAKER_02: No, not on the redgreenshow.com.
49:18
SPEAKER_04: I'm not on that.
49:19
SPEAKER_02: I'm on redgreen.com.
49:21
SPEAKER_02: Well, that's the redgreen show.
49:23
SPEAKER_02: No, this is Red Green Show.
49:24
SPEAKER_02: You'd want to contact him through his personal company.
49:28
SPEAKER_02: Because through the redgreen.com, you're gonna get some There's a phone number.
49:32
SPEAKER_02: Some you know, random worker.
49:33
SPEAKER_04: It says every day from 9 a.m.
49:35
SPEAKER_04: to 5 p.m.
49:35
SPEAKER_04: I can call this phone number.
49:37
SPEAKER_04: We're outside of that time right now.
49:39
SPEAKER_04: But uh the fact that there's just a month, Mike.
49:43
SPEAKER_04: To Mr.
49:43
SPEAKER_04: Green.
49:44
SPEAKER_04: Okay, hold on.
49:45
SPEAKER_04: Sorry.
49:46
SPEAKER_04: How do you want me to contact him, Rob?
49:48
SPEAKER_02: How should I reach out?
49:49
SPEAKER_02: I don't remember the name of his production comp company.
49:51
SPEAKER_02: But it's run by him and his wife, and so they do everything.
49:53
SPEAKER_04: Redgreen.eu.
49:56
SPEAKER_03: When you hit that up.
49:57
SPEAKER_03: Oh, I solved it.
49:59
SPEAKER_03: I'm sorry, I was stuck on which doctor.
50:00
SPEAKER_03: Sherlock.
50:01
SPEAKER_03: I want Sherlock Holmes.
50:03
SPEAKER_03: Or maybe Dr.
50:03
SPEAKER_03: Watson, I guess.
50:04
SPEAKER_03: Is Sherlock?
50:05
SPEAKER_03: Is he technically not a doctor?
50:06
SPEAKER_03: Both of them are not a doctor.
50:08
SPEAKER_03: Is it just Watson?
50:10
SPEAKER_03: If you're Sherlock's not a doctor, then I want Dr.
50:12
SPEAKER_03: Watson.
50:13
SPEAKER_04: I don't think they're medical staff.
50:16
SPEAKER_04: I don't care.
50:17
SPEAKER_04: Dr.
50:17
SPEAKER_04: Watson seems like he'd be good at it.
50:19
SPEAKER_04: Let them break in.
50:21
SPEAKER_04: Okay.
50:22
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
50:23
SPEAKER_04: Okay, if you had to have somebody do a surgery on you who was not a medical doctor.
50:29
SPEAKER_04: Ooh.
50:30
SPEAKER_04: Who would who would that be?
50:32
SPEAKER_04: You can't choose somebody.
50:33
SPEAKER_03: So just for the fun of it, like it's just because I'm dying either way, and it would be real.
50:38
SPEAKER_03: That headline is fucking gold.
50:41
SPEAKER_03: Like she's not held accountable for it.
50:44
SPEAKER_03: When you don't know, I don't want her going to jail.
50:47
SPEAKER_03: I just want influencer dies by getting surgery from Snooky.
50:51
SPEAKER_03: Because that's a fucking just absolute banger of a headline.
50:56
SPEAKER_03: She's just going in there.
50:59
SPEAKER_03: You're like, you remember when that influencer died because Snooky tried to remove his gallbladder?
51:03
SPEAKER_03: Like, I forever.
51:05
SPEAKER_03: It would never go away.
51:07
SPEAKER_04: No, animal from the Muppets.
51:09
SPEAKER_03: So, like, is the person the person who hold controls the Muppet just controlling like a little fucking saw?
51:15
SPEAKER_03: And he's like, No, hold still.
51:20
SPEAKER_03: And we'd scissor hate.
51:22
SPEAKER_03: And we're so with just this.
51:23
SPEAKER_03: I mean, this the cutting part, he is phenomenal at.
51:27
SPEAKER_03: After that, there's some problems.
51:29
SPEAKER_00: You know, if I'm gonna go though, it's fine.
51:33
SPEAKER_00: Just chop me up alive.
51:35
SPEAKER_02: He'll probably style your hair really nice.
51:37
SPEAKER_00: You know, that's all that really matters in the afterlife.
51:40
SPEAKER_03: I I kind of also feel like um uh oh, who's wait, what's the who's the guy that played uh uh in Star Trek?
51:49
SPEAKER_03: Fucking cap Captain Kirk or Captain Kirk.
51:53
SPEAKER_00: William Shatner?
51:54
SPEAKER_03: Shatner, yeah.
51:55
SPEAKER_03: I want William Shatner.
51:56
SPEAKER_03: He's also like 90 now, which I don't know, for some reason that just makes it funnier to me.
52:01
SPEAKER_03: So yeah, I either Snooky or William or William Shatner.
52:05
SPEAKER_03: One of those two.
52:06
SPEAKER_03: Very similar, if you think about it.
52:08
SPEAKER_02: Scalpel.
52:10
SPEAKER_02: I'm making an incision.
52:13
SPEAKER_04: We're gonna go where we have gone before.
52:15
SPEAKER_04: There might be an active red green podcast.
52:18
SPEAKER_04: There might be.
52:19
SPEAKER_04: There might be.
52:20
SPEAKER_04: I still have I am looking it up right now.
52:23
SPEAKER_04: It's called Possum Lodge.
52:25
SPEAKER_02: Wait, Possum Lodge would be the Lodge from Red Green.
52:28
SPEAKER_04: Uh yeah, because I was like, that's the Lodge, but I guess we might so let's go to Spotify and see when the last episode.
52:34
SPEAKER_04: No.
52:35
SPEAKER_04: May of 2021 was the last episode.
52:38
SPEAKER_04: And they only did it for 12 episodes.
52:40
SPEAKER_04: Okay.
52:41
SPEAKER_04: So I feel like we might also, in addition to being the top-rated DeLorean podcast, we may mention Red Green more than any podcast out there as well.
52:51
SPEAKER_03: Probably.
52:51
SPEAKER_03: Probably.
52:52
SPEAKER_03: How many obscure things can we reference every week so that we just collect them like fucking Pokemon?
52:59
SPEAKER_04: Gonna make the we're gonna make the the Gen Alpha go wild for this episode.
53:04
SPEAKER_04: Say a bunch of stuff that doesn't matter anymore.
53:06
SPEAKER_04: Rob is doing some sort of research right now, and I'm just curious to see what he comes up with.
53:11
SPEAKER_04: He's been staring intently at his screen for a while.
53:13
SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I'm just reading other stuff.
53:15
SPEAKER_02: I'm letting read.
53:16
SPEAKER_04: Oh, he's just okay, he's just gone.
53:17
SPEAKER_04: Got it.
53:18
SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
53:19
SPEAKER_02: I I'm clocked out.
53:20
SPEAKER_03: He's well, then I guess that's it for another episode of Ed Moderation.
53:25
SPEAKER_03: Goodbye, everybody.
53:26
SPEAKER_03: Thank you for joining us.
53:28
SPEAKER_02: If if if you're looking for community, go check out Mike's school.
53:33
SPEAKER_02: Great community.
53:34
SPEAKER_02: I've seen it in person.

53:38
SPEAKER_04: If you want to come hang out.
53:39
SPEAKER_02: And if you want to come chill and game with us, come over to my Twitch channel.
53:44
SPEAKER_02: We've had some people that have actually said, uh, is Liam making a Twitch channel?
53:49
SPEAKER_03: Fuck.
53:51
SPEAKER_03: No.
53:51
SPEAKER_03: I can't I can't.
53:53
SPEAKER_02: But he does show up on my channel.
53:54
SPEAKER_03: I will, but like streaming, there's so much time.
53:58
SPEAKER_03: No, no, no, no.
53:59
SPEAKER_03: I play games for fun and to escape reality.
54:02
SPEAKER_04: What's that cooking game we played a few nights ago?
54:05
SPEAKER_04: Overcooked.
54:07
SPEAKER_04: Overcooked.
54:08
SPEAKER_04: Yeah, we're gonna play that sometime in this coming week.
54:11
SPEAKER_04: So if you're hearing this now, this is it's Thursday.
54:14
