Blues Trade for McTavish, Big Move Ahead
The St. Louis Blues just pulled off a blockbuster trade, sending their 15th and 29th picks to Anaheim for center Mason McTavish — a 23-year-old former Team Canada captain with a $7M contract. This bold move, reportedly GM’s last draft, signals a new era: McTavish’s talent and experience are seen as vital, despite a down year. The Blues aren’t handing him a spot — he’ll battle for a role on the second or third line. Fans are excited: this young star could ignite the next chapter in St. Louis hockey.
