• 2:26
  Speaker 4: see you.
• 2:27
Speaker 2: Yeah. Well, yeah, it good to be seen, so they say, so,
• 2:31
Speaker 2: they say, did you notice that we got a big
• 2:33
Speaker 2: while walking through? Look look at this clock we have
• 2:36
  Speaker 2: here that I.
• 2:37
Speaker 4: Mean, I guess that's for my benefits to that.
• 2:39
Speaker 2: It is because you're wait for it, wait for it, wait,
• 2:43
Speaker 2: give it big time.
• 2:45
Speaker 4: Oh thank you. So I love that.
• 2:47
  Speaker 2: I'm stealing that.
• 2:48
Speaker 4: That's mine. Thank you very much.
• 2:50
Speaker 2: You see what I did there? But yeah, check that out.
• 2:52
  Speaker 2: I mean, I don't know. I don't know, Ryan, I
• 2:54
Speaker 2: don't know what we did to new clock. But see
• 2:57
Speaker 2: the size of this clock.
• 2:58
Speaker 4: Who needs to know? The humidity?
• 3:00
Speaker 2: Well, you know it's not Oh that's a hot air monitor,
• 3:03
Speaker 2: is what it is. And it's going to go. It's, it's,
• 3:05
Speaker 2: it's and it's climbing. As I set behind the microphone,
• 3:08
Speaker 2: it just keeps climbing and climbing till eventually, you know,
• 3:10
  Speaker 2: the sprinkling.
• 3:11
Speaker 4: So that was for the benefit of my hair, Yeah,
• 3:13
Speaker 4: because I have natural curls.
• 3:15
  Speaker 2: Same.
• 3:16
Speaker 4: Yes, yes, I've noticed. All right, So I have much
• 3:19
Speaker 4: much to tell you about, and I'm.
• 3:21
  Speaker 2: Here to listen.
• 3:22
Speaker 4: Oh wonderful, I hope everyone else is.
• 3:24
Speaker 2: Oh they are, they are, and so our.
• 3:26
Speaker 4: Wonderful Mediterranean mindset. We have changed locations, okay, and we
• 3:31
Speaker 4: are no longer at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church. We are, however,
• 3:36
Speaker 4: at a lovely new location, and that is the American
• 3:40
Speaker 4: Job Center. It's on Leon Sullivan Way, okay, and it's
• 3:44
Speaker 4: I believe four twenty six Leon Sullivan Way. It's kind
• 3:47
Speaker 4: of looks like an auspicious building. It's got columns, but
• 3:50
Speaker 4: the parking is wonderful, the location is wonderful. And we
• 3:54
Speaker 4: have a morning meeting on Thursday at nine thirty, an
• 4:00
Speaker 4: evening meeting at five point thirty. And Mediterranean is the
• 4:04
Speaker 4: way to go. And don't take my word for it,
• 4:06
Speaker 4: although I'm pretty credible However, I'm credible because I've lived
• 4:11
Speaker 4: it now for over eight years and I'm the former
• 4:14
Speaker 4: weightwatcher person and I've learned so much about eating and
• 4:19
Speaker 4: good health on Mediterranean. However, my point in saying this
• 4:25
Speaker 4: is I want other people to discover that eating this
• 4:29
Speaker 4: way is probably the best way you can eat, and
• 4:33
Speaker 4: it's better than anything you've ever done. And there is
• 4:36
Speaker 4: so much to talk about when you consider the new
• 4:41
Speaker 4: food pyramid. I believe our Health and Human Services flipped
• 4:47
Speaker 4: it upside down and at old ways that is responsible
• 4:53
Speaker 4: for the Mediterranean education. We are not going to turn
• 4:58
Speaker 4: it upside down. We're going to keep doing what we've
• 5:01
Speaker 4: done because it's a proven vehicle.
• 5:02
Speaker 2: And what is that What are the differences between what
• 5:05
Speaker 2: RFK Junior has recommended, you know with the pyramid.
• 5:09
Speaker 4: Kay has recommended using beef tallow, lots of beef, and
• 5:14
Speaker 4: the current pyramid is lots of fruits and vegetables and
• 5:18
Speaker 4: having fish or seafood twice a week. And yes we
• 5:22
Speaker 4: can have beef, and yes, chicken, turkey and everything that
• 5:26
Speaker 4: you truly love. But going back to beef tallow and
• 5:31
Speaker 4: increasing beef just because it's going to benefit the home
• 5:36
Speaker 4: school program isn't enough for all of us who need
• 5:39
Speaker 4: to re educate our O.
• 5:42
Speaker 2: Why does it benefit the homeschool program?
• 5:44
Speaker 4: Well, but that was in the news release that by
• 5:47
Speaker 4: changing the food pyramid, it's going to make the foods
• 5:52
Speaker 4: that are made available in the school system contain more
• 5:58
Speaker 4: beef and beef byproduct. Okay, so that's where we are
• 6:02
Speaker 4: questioning that, But we're going to stick to what we've done.
• 6:06
Speaker 2: You do you as they say, exactly.
• 6:07
Speaker 4: And our pyramid has helped so many thousands upon thousands,
• 6:12
Speaker 4: not just lose weight. And I don't know that Mediterranean
• 6:15
Speaker 4: is just for weight loss. It's for healthy eating, healthy living,
• 6:19
Speaker 4: and people with various maladies are recommended by their physicians
• 6:26
Speaker 4: to please embrace the Mediterranean way of life because again,
• 6:31
  Speaker 4: it's not a diet. And I don't want people to
• 6:34
Speaker 4: think that, you know, just because I move from one
• 6:36
Speaker 4: concept to another, that it's a diet. First of all,
• 6:39
Speaker 4: I don't even like the word diet. But nonetheless it's
• 6:42
Speaker 4: called the Mediterranean diet, although we call it the Mediterranean lifestyle,
• 6:48
Speaker 4: and it is unbelievably beautiful. And we also use group support,
• 6:53
Speaker 4: and group support is one of those very important pieces
• 6:57
Speaker 4: that helps you feel like you're doing the right thing.
• 7:00
Speaker 2: And that's something that your past organization was also big
• 7:03
Speaker 2: on too. Right support support. Yeah, and group support can
• 7:07
Speaker 2: be very good no matter what you're trying to do,
• 7:09
  Speaker 2: where there.
• 7:09
Speaker 4: Is so many different things where group support makes all
• 7:12
  Speaker 4: the different exercise.
• 7:14
Speaker 2: You know, you're trying to say.
• 7:14
Speaker 4: Why do we go to the gym, You're not the
• 7:16
Speaker 4: only person in the gym. Well, there are people who
• 7:20
Speaker 4: are trying to overcome some other problems. They go to AA,
• 7:25
Speaker 4: they go to drug groups because they need to be
• 7:28
Speaker 4: with other people. We are learning how to eat and
• 7:32
Speaker 4: in many cases for the first time in our life.
• 7:35
Speaker 4: And what we are doing on Mediterranean is we're not
• 7:38
Speaker 4: eating processed foods that contain a bazillion different ingredients and
• 7:43
Speaker 4: eating fresh, clean food. And that's the way of life
• 7:46
Speaker 4: in the Mediterranean, in that part of them.
• 7:48
Speaker 2: That's why they live so long. Yes, and plus here's
• 7:50
Speaker 2: the thing about it, and healthfully the food is good.
• 7:54
Speaker 2: I mean, everybody likes different things. I completely understand that.
• 7:57
Speaker 2: But when Ryan and I were talking about that during
• 7:59
Speaker 2: the Bork, I said, when you start talking about the
• 8:01
Speaker 2: foods that are a big part of the Mediterranean diet,
• 8:04
Speaker 2: I'm in I mean, I'm in on all those. Give
• 8:07
Speaker 2: us some of the core groups four or five, six,
• 8:10
Speaker 2: maybe some of four or five foods that are big
• 8:12
Speaker 2: into Mediterranean, not even Mediterranean living. I know you don't
• 8:16
Speaker 2: like diet Mediterranean living.
• 8:17
Speaker 4: Oh my goodness. Well, let me give you an example.
• 8:20
Speaker 4: This morning, I had a bowl of sugar free cereal,
• 8:25
Speaker 4: because sugar is not big in Mediterranean, but really, sugar
• 8:28
Speaker 4: shouldn't be big for anybody because it just causes many,
• 8:32
Speaker 4: many health problems. But I had a big bowl of cereal.
• 8:36
Speaker 4: I had an orange, I had half an apple. I
• 8:38
Speaker 4: had a glass of milk. And that's just what I
• 8:42
Speaker 4: had for breakfast. For lunch, I'll probably have a couple
• 8:45
Speaker 4: of hard boiled eggs with tomatoes and cucumbers, and then
• 8:49
Speaker 4: I'm gonna I'll go out for dinner tonight, getting salmon
• 8:53
Speaker 4: and all the nice things that go with it. Homus
• 8:56
Speaker 4: is one of my favorite things. Although years ago, when
• 8:59
Speaker 4: I switched from Weight Watchers to Mediterranean, a woman stopped
• 9:03
Speaker 4: me at Kroger's and she said, Millie, I can't come
• 9:05
Speaker 4: to your group. I said why. She said, because I
• 9:08
Speaker 4: don't like humus, which would only suggest that that's the
• 9:11
Speaker 4: only food now it's one of the bazillion foods that
• 9:14
Speaker 4: we make available, but we eat so well. I can
• 9:18
Speaker 4: have a steak, I can have a baked potato. And
• 9:20
Speaker 4: by the way, potatoes are not a carbohydrate, they're a vegetable.
• 9:27
Speaker 4: But for years, probably read because for years we blamed
• 9:32
Speaker 4: the potato. But what we never failed, what we never
• 9:36
Speaker 4: failed was to point out that the potato was fattening.
• 9:39
Speaker 4: But we didn't mention that we put bacon, cheese, sour cream, butter,
• 9:45
Speaker 4: and what else goes on it, everything that you could pile.
• 9:49
Speaker 2: A lot of people put broccoli on a potato, but
• 9:51
Speaker 2: they do it after they've done the cheese and the
• 9:53
Speaker 2: bacon and room for the break loaded potatoes.
• 9:58
Speaker 4: Yes, but for years we blamed the potato, and the
• 10:01
Speaker 4: potato was never at fault. So we want you to
• 10:05
Speaker 4: consider it a vegetable. And people, when I mentioned that
• 10:08
Speaker 4: to various people, they give me the side eye. You
• 10:12
Speaker 4: know what, the side ee? Yeah, this woman is crazy. Yeah,
• 10:15
Speaker 4: until you find out that you can eat a potato
• 10:17
Speaker 4: several times during the week and enjoy it thoroughly, and
• 10:21
  Speaker 4: you didn't have a carbohydrate, you didn't have a bread,
• 10:24
Speaker 4: you didn't do anything wrong and It's wonderful to learn
• 10:27
Speaker 4: new things, all right.
• 10:28
Speaker 2: Talking to Billie Snyder of Dave Alan showing five Any

• 10:42
Speaker 2: dot net helping you understand your environment because what you
• 10:45
Speaker 2: don't know can hurt you. We had a couple of
• 10:47
Speaker 2: texts here for you, but one says you can have
• 10:50
Speaker 2: plenty of wine on the Mediterranean diet.
• 10:52
Speaker 4: But I don't know about plenty. I think of using
• 10:56
Speaker 4: the current pyramid. A man can have two glasses of
• 11:00
Speaker 4: a woman can have one. But there is some new
• 11:02
Speaker 4: information about alcohol in general, so we're going to stick
• 11:07
Speaker 4: with what we know until we get further guidance. But
• 11:11
Speaker 4: plenty is to be interpreted.
• 11:13
Speaker 2: Well, and plenty of anything you know is I mean,
• 11:18
Speaker 2: it's all about moderation on anything. Even that you mentioned
• 11:21
Speaker 2: just you know you don't want to, but.
• 11:22
Speaker 4: We're talking about a six sounds glass for a woman,
• 11:25
Speaker 4: and two six sounds is a twelve for a guy. Okay,
• 11:28
Speaker 4: and that's plenty. And by the way, when you have
• 11:32
Speaker 4: a good red wine, it's good for you. It's good
• 11:37
Speaker 4: for your brain, it's good for your heart, and your
• 11:40
Speaker 4: taste buds are very happy as well. So wine is
• 11:44
Speaker 4: a wonderful additive. Plenty of fruits and vegetables and so
• 11:49
Speaker 4: many of the recipes of things that we can do
• 11:51
Speaker 4: with it make food absolutely unbelievably exciting.
• 11:56
Speaker 2: Somebody wanted to ask about tun misteaks. They wanted to
• 11:59
Speaker 2: know how you feel about tuo misteaks on the Mediterranean and.
• 12:02
Speaker 4: If they're going to make them, I'd like them to
• 12:04
Speaker 4: have my phone number. Okay, no, I'm not giving well,
• 12:08
Speaker 4: if they can call me up. But tuna steaks, it's wonderful,
• 12:11
Speaker 4: and if you make them correctly and you don't overcook them,
• 12:16
Speaker 4: it's it's better than actually eating a steak.
• 12:19
Speaker 2: Okay, are any recipes.
• 12:21
Speaker 4: Not very off that well, off the top of my head,
• 12:24
Speaker 4: I would say that you smear them up with some
• 12:27
Speaker 4: olive oil and the seasonings that you like. But the
• 12:31
Speaker 4: trick with a good salmon steak a tuna steak is
• 12:36
Speaker 4: not to overcook it and get it on one side,
• 12:39
Speaker 4: flip it over get it ready and then you're ready
• 12:41
Speaker 4: to eat. But if you cook it like you know
• 12:45
Speaker 4: canned tuna, you've killed it. It's already dead. So we
• 12:49
Speaker 4: don't want you to kill it any further.
• 12:51
Speaker 2: Than that kill it more exactly. All right. Remind people
• 12:53

• 16:23
Speaker 2: from the Westerngion Trophy Hunters Association coming up to talk
• 16:26
Speaker 2: about this weekends Hunting and Fishing show over at the
• 16:29
Speaker 2: Coliseum and Convention Center, Texas. Dave about the weather, all
• 16:32
Speaker 2: models have moved the storm up north media, the warm
• 16:35
Speaker 2: wedge will wipe out the big snow threat for much
• 16:37
Speaker 2: of West Virginia. Yes, snow to began, but to change
• 16:39
Speaker 2: to rain all the way till the Pa border. Any
• 16:42
Speaker 2: hopes for the two foot are over, Well, that's not
• 16:47
Speaker 2: said and done yet. As a matter of fact, that's
• 16:49
Speaker 2: the appreciate the text as always, that's the exact opposite
• 16:52
Speaker 2: of what the folks at the Weather Service said earlier
• 16:54
Speaker 2: this morning on TV. But you know, anytime you're dealing
• 16:58
Speaker 2: with the weather, she's a fickle beast, is Mother Nature,
• 17:01
Speaker 2: and she gonna do what she's gonna do. Robbery, And
• 17:04
Speaker 2: you're a guy that has spent time all over the
• 17:06
Speaker 2: world really, so you know that firsthand.
• 17:10
Speaker 10: The award winning Hall of Famer Fred Person and I
• 17:13
Speaker 10: were chatting this morning about my time living in Montana.
• 17:16
Speaker 10: I was there for two years and there was a
• 17:18
Speaker 10: February night we got two feet of snow, sidewalks were clear,
• 17:22
Speaker 10: and school was on time that morning. So it's all relative.
• 17:27
Speaker 2: Yeah, it is, it is, But I mean, you know,
• 17:29
Speaker 2: in West Virginia is one of those places that is
• 17:31
Speaker 2: the classic four seasons, especially where we are here in
• 17:34
Speaker 2: the Valley Rosemary in time right exactly. There are certain
• 17:38
Speaker 2: areas of the state that you know, I mean friends
• 17:40
Speaker 2: originally from Beckley, he just like what snow and you know,
• 17:43
Speaker 2: you get to Tucker County in places like that, but
• 17:45
Speaker 2: you get places here in the valley. We're just not
• 17:46
Speaker 2: used to it. One of the TV meteorology folks said
• 17:50
Speaker 2: this would be the biggest snow we've had in years here.
• 17:53
Speaker 2: We haven't probably we just haven't had those type of
• 17:56
Speaker 2: snows in this area. We have what's called nuisance snows,
• 17:59
Speaker 2: you know, inches or whatever, and you know, schools are
• 18:02
Speaker 2: delayed and everybody goes out, as you say, goes out
• 18:04
Speaker 2: and buys their French toast kits, French toast kit and
• 18:08
Speaker 2: then it's all over. But you know, I don't. I mean,
• 18:12
Speaker 2: you know, I'm kind of a weather geek, and I
• 18:14
Speaker 2: kind of look at this stuff, probably more than I should.
• 18:16
  Speaker 1: I have.
• 18:16
Speaker 2: I do believe that we're gonna get hammered.
• 18:19
Speaker 10: I do believe that January twenty sixteen, fourteen inches of
• 18:24
  Speaker 10: snow in Charleston.
• 18:25
Speaker 2: So what happens from time to time?
• 18:27
Speaker 10: I chuckle at my friends who are in the Carolinas, though,
• 18:30
Speaker 10: who are all kinds of worried about an inch or
• 18:32
Speaker 10: two because two inches of snow shuts down the world
• 18:37
Speaker 10: in the Carolinas and Georgia.
• 18:38
Speaker 2: Well, but again, it's a relative thing, you know, relative
• 18:41
Speaker 2: we I will say this, I will take snow over
• 18:43
Speaker 2: a hurricane any day of the week. And when we here,
• 18:48
Speaker 2: we have severe storms here, you know, people here lose
• 18:50
Speaker 2: their mind over it. And people that deal with hurricanes
• 18:53
Speaker 2: in Florida on a regular basis, or in Biloxi or
• 18:55
Speaker 2: Corpus Christie are like, So, why you know, we have
• 18:58
Speaker 2: a party, you know, mix up some more margarita as
• 19:00
Speaker 2: we have a party.
• 19:01
Speaker 10: I still recall that day the tornadoes came through here,
• 19:04
Speaker 10: and everybody else's all kinds of jittery, like a Jack
• 19:08
Speaker 10: Russell terrier mainlining caffeine. And I'm just like, now we're
• 19:11
Speaker 10: all right, Okay, now it's time to go downstairs.
• 19:13
Speaker 2: I've told that story of you before. I was actually
• 19:15
Speaker 2: in your office that day a couple of years ago,
• 19:18
Speaker 2: and and there was tornado warning, sirens are going off
• 19:20
Speaker 2: and whatever. And I'm up there with Rob Real, who's
• 19:22
Speaker 2: who is in from from? Grew up in India, flat Landia, Yeah,
• 19:26
Speaker 2: my grow flatlands. He lives in Carmel, Indiana. And uh.
• 19:29
Speaker 2: When Rob looks at me, and Rob says, uh, okay,
• 19:34
Speaker 2: we need to go to the basement. I said, I'm
• 19:35
Speaker 2: gonna go with that guy. With that guy says, all right,
• 19:37
Speaker 2: let's talk some sauce please. Tomorrow.
• 19:39
Speaker 10: Tomorrow is the day, seven am to six pm. You
• 19:42
Speaker 10: roll through our parking lot here at eleven eleven Virginia
• 19:45
Speaker 10: Street East. Hand us over some brand new socks or
• 19:48
Speaker 10: cashwork check donations for Union Mission. They will take it
• 19:51
Speaker 10: from there. The collection, the sorting, the distributing, keeping our
• 19:55
Speaker 10: friends and neighbors in need warm this winter.
• 19:59
Speaker 2: I can't stress enough the bulk.
• 20:01
Speaker 10: Buying power that Union Mission has so this cash and
• 20:03
Speaker 10: check donations are going to go much farther. But I
• 20:06
Speaker 10: also understand there are folks that it has to be tactile,
• 20:10
Speaker 10: it has to be concrete. They have to have You
• 20:12
Speaker 10: have to have a thing in your hand to give
• 20:14
Speaker 10: to me to make it real. I understand. That's why
• 20:17
Speaker 10: we focus on one simple thing, socks. Never have to
• 20:20
Speaker 10: worry about size or color. Just bring us, bring us socks.
• 20:24
Speaker 10: That's what we need tomorrow.
• 20:25
Speaker 2: Yeah, and again it's seven am to six pn our
• 20:27
Speaker 2: parking lot eleven eleven Virginia Street East and Charleston. And
• 20:30
Speaker 2: I will say, not trying to lead anyone to any
• 20:32
Speaker 2: certain store, but as somebody who's probably you know, late
• 20:35
Speaker 2: Doug scaff used to tell me when he would come
• 20:37
Speaker 2: in to go on the show, he would see my
• 20:39
Speaker 2: copy of the Charleston Gazette Mail here and he'd say,
• 20:41
Speaker 2: as long as you are getting your subscription, I know
• 20:44
Speaker 2: subscriptions will never go away. I say that because in
• 20:47
Speaker 2: the hard copy of the Gazette Mail today there was
• 20:51
Speaker 2: an insert for Dunham Sporting Goods, which is located right
• 20:54
Speaker 2: off the Tays Valley ex at I sixty four Liberty Square,
• 20:58
Speaker 2: and they had an ad in there to where they
• 21:00
Speaker 2: and I didn't catch the price, but they have an
• 21:02
Speaker 2: ad in there where they are kind of pushing out
• 21:05
Speaker 2: some of the extra warm socks. I'm not saying you
• 21:08
Speaker 2: have to go there, but I'm saying that's a place
• 21:09
Speaker 2: that's putting them on sale.
• 21:11
Speaker 10: We are we are very pro local business, and I
• 21:13
Speaker 10: would say ninety six point one percent of the time
• 21:15
Speaker 10: we are we are pushing local locals.
• 21:18
Speaker 2: We'll see what you did there. Thank you, ninety six
• 21:19
  Speaker 2: point one, thank.
• 21:20
Speaker 10: You and h But this is this is maybe the occasion,
• 21:24
Speaker 10: the the loan occasion when we point out that big
• 21:28
Speaker 10: box stores, big chain retailers, they also have bulk buying power,
• 21:33
Speaker 10: and so you can get socks for cheaper than a
• 21:36
Speaker 10: dollar a pair at places like Dunham's, TJ Max, Marshall, Walmart,
• 21:41
  Speaker 10: and Sam's, Ali's, uh.
• 21:44
  Speaker 2: You name it.
• 21:45
Speaker 10: Those places that can buy a lot of stuff can
• 21:48
Speaker 10: lower that price. So if you want to hand us
• 21:51
Speaker 10: brand new socks, that's kind of the way to go
• 21:54
  Speaker 10: this time around.
• 21:55
Speaker 2: But I go back to cash and check.
• 21:56
Speaker 10: Donations will absolutely positively go the farthest tomorrow.
• 22:00
Speaker 2: And you can visit the website.
• 22:02
Speaker 10: We feed people dot com that is the Union Mission website.
• 22:06
Speaker 10: It will be a QR code there that will take
• 22:08
Speaker 10: you directly to donating to this particular situation. If you
• 22:13
Speaker 10: want to become somebody who's regularly partners with Union Mission,
• 22:17
Speaker 10: you'll have a way to do that there too.
• 22:19
Speaker 2: My text says there were fifty percent off the heat
• 22:21
Speaker 2: socks at Dunhams. That's what it was there. You go, there,
• 22:24
Speaker 2: you go the heat socks.
• 22:25
Speaker 10: Certainly, I'm a guy who lives in a one hundred
• 22:28
  Speaker 10: year old building.
• 22:29
Speaker 2: That is it's very drafty, it's poorly it's poorly sealed.
• 22:33
Speaker 2: It's just it's an old building, and so it gets
• 22:36
Speaker 2: really cold. I know how important it is to me
• 22:39
Speaker 2: to have a warm pair of socks just banging around
• 22:41
Speaker 2: my living room and when I go to bed at night,
• 22:44
Speaker 2: and then I think about folks who are displaced, folks
• 22:46
Speaker 2: who are CouchSurfing, folks who are maybe have had their
• 22:50
Speaker 2: heat shut off and they're trying to be trying to
• 22:52
Speaker 2: heat a single wide with a kerosene heater. Please don't
• 22:55
Speaker 2: do that, yeah, or or space heater, please don't do that.
• 22:59
Speaker 10: But I understand and why people do it.
• 23:03
Speaker 2: Socks are an amazing yet small gift you can be
• 23:08
Speaker 2: giving to these folks. And look, it doesn't matter tomorrow
• 23:10
Speaker 2: whether you roll in here with one pair of long
• 23:12
Speaker 2: as they're new and still in the package socks or
• 23:15
Speaker 2: as we've seen in years past, we've had people that
• 23:18
Speaker 2: have come in with boxes that they've gone to these
• 23:20
Speaker 2: places and come up with with boxes and socks, whatever
• 23:22
Speaker 2: the case may be. And in the years past, and
• 23:25
Speaker 2: I don't want to put you on the spot here, Rob,
• 23:26
Speaker 2: but we from time to time we have selected people
• 23:28
Speaker 2: that have come through the parking lot and we said, well, here,
• 23:30
Speaker 2: we got a got a prize for you. I mean,
• 23:33
Speaker 2: how are we doing on that?
• 23:34
Speaker 10: I may or may not have some passes to the
• 23:37
Speaker 10: West Virginia Hunting and Fishing Show, may be some, there
• 23:40
Speaker 10: may be some other things from what is it? Animal
• 23:43
Speaker 10: calls this thing the right, it was the prize and
• 23:46
Speaker 10: it's not the prize. Ditch the random prize, random prize closet.
• 23:49
  Speaker 2: Steve Animal.
• 23:50
Speaker 10: Yeah, so lots of lots of odds and ends we
• 23:53
Speaker 10: including Steve Animal. Yeah, we'll give you Steve Animal. He
• 23:56
Speaker 10: puts the odd and odds and ends to be sure,
• 23:58
Speaker 10: so we may we may have some things to to
• 24:02
Speaker 10: uh say, thank you folks who stop in.
• 24:05
  Speaker 2: I don't want to. I don't want to dangle too
• 24:06
Speaker 2: many carrots side sticks. But you never know, you never know,
• 24:09
Speaker 2: you never know, all right. Another text says Ollie's has
• 24:12
Speaker 2: wool socks for five bucks. There you go, there you go,
• 24:15
Speaker 2: there you go. And I will say this, I want
• 24:17
Speaker 2: to give a big shout out to the folks at
• 24:20
Speaker 2: Rolling Smoke Barbecue because they are going to provide our
• 24:22
Speaker 2: lunch tomorrow, and uh, and we appreciate that because you know,
• 24:26
Speaker 2: we are going to be in and out, you know,
• 24:29
Speaker 2: all day tomorrow and uh we we tend to get
• 24:32
Speaker 2: a little hungry up here. And if you've seen either
• 24:34
Speaker 2: one of us, you know we can eat. The folks
• 24:36
Speaker 2: that Rolling Smoke actually heard about what we were doing,
• 24:38
Speaker 2: reached out to us and said, hey, we'd like to
• 24:40
Speaker 2: provide your guys lunch tomorrow. So big shout out to them.
• 24:42
  Speaker 1: It is.
• 24:44
Speaker 10: It is wonderful when West Virginians take care of West Virginians.
• 24:47
Speaker 10: That's what these events are always all about. Drop your socks.
• 24:51
Speaker 10: And I know every single man and probably most women
• 24:54
Speaker 10: who have been through basic training are chuckling at that name.
• 24:58
Speaker 2: I hope, yes, I hope I hope that joke isn't lost.
• 25:01
Speaker 2: Once you told me the story, I got it. I
• 25:04
Speaker 2: can't get it out of my head right now. Tex
• 25:05
Speaker 2: says a dollar tree. Sorry. Packs of socks also, they
• 25:11
Speaker 2: have some six packs starting at a buck fifty.
• 25:13
Speaker 10: That's amazing And I would love to think maybe there
• 25:17
Speaker 10: are folks hearing about these events. Who are you know,
• 25:20
Speaker 10: discounting stuff? But I can't be so vain as to
• 25:23
Speaker 10: think we're driving prices down. But whatever it takes, and
• 25:26
Speaker 10: get some for yourself please too. We were talking the
• 25:30
Speaker 10: other day about one of the moments you become an
• 25:33
Speaker 10: adult is when you realize that socks are a great
• 25:35
Speaker 10: gift for Christmas. I love getting socks now, so I'll
• 25:40
Speaker 10: do a refresh of my own sock.
• 25:42
Speaker 2: Drawer as part of this as well. All right again,
• 25:44
Speaker 2: seven am to six pm on our parking lot eleven
• 25:46
Speaker 2: eleven Virginia Street East and Charleston Tomorrow, panhandle cleaning and restoration,
• 25:50
Speaker 2: making it all possible. Team with the folks at Union Mission.
• 25:52
Speaker 2: We'll have Jason, Mighty Joe, the entire team from Union
• 25:55
Speaker 2: Mission will be here. Of course you'll be out there
• 25:57
Speaker 2: getting it all set up tomorrow. Actually, probably the Sea
• 26:00
Speaker 2: near end of tomorrow, one of you guys will be
• 26:01
Speaker 2: out there getting it all set up. Big shout out
• 26:03
Speaker 2: to our man, Brian Bradley Wolfe as we call him,
• 26:05
Speaker 2: who's gonna go for it, who's gonna be out there
• 26:07
Speaker 2: helping us as well all of our stations. You're gonna
• 26:09
Speaker 2: see people from V one hundred, You'll see people from CHS.
• 26:12
Speaker 2: You'll see the office staff of sales, weasels, You'll see
• 26:14
Speaker 2: people from the Beat out there as well. So you know,
• 26:18
Speaker 2: this is something that we do. It's one of our
• 26:20
Speaker 2: three or four big events that we do every year.
• 26:22
Speaker 2: We take that seriously that the WVRC Media lives here too,
• 26:26
Speaker 2: and not just us here in Charleston, but our other company,
• 26:30
Speaker 2: our other stations through out the state do similar type
• 26:32
  Speaker 2: things as well.
• 26:32
Speaker 10: I have worked in all sorts of places. I've lived
• 26:35
Speaker 10: in seventeen states, three other countries, and there is a
• 26:38
Speaker 10: big among the big reasons why I came back here
• 26:41
Speaker 10: is the way WVRC Media comes together to help our
• 26:44
  Speaker 10: friends and neighbors.
• 26:45
Speaker 2: All right, And I'll drag you in here tomorrow with
• 26:47
Speaker 2: some of the other folks that'll be on the show

Speaker 2: Glenn Jerald with the Westernginion Trophy Hunters Association joins us. Now,
• 30:50
Speaker 2: good morning, sir, welcome to the show.
• 30:52
Speaker 8: Good morning, thank you, Thank you for having me.
• 30:54
Speaker 2: And we said that this is the thirty eighth annual event.
• 30:57
Speaker 2: Talk about how the show has evolved the years. Oh,
• 31:01
Speaker 2: it started out with just few of us getting together.
• 31:04
Speaker 2: We wanted to do something for the local fishermen and
• 31:07
Speaker 2: hunters and for the local people that supported those things,
• 31:11
Speaker 2: and so we just got them all together and it
• 31:15
Speaker 2: worked out great. It was the first time they could
• 31:17
Speaker 2: actually talk to outfitters, you know, face to face, without
• 31:21
Speaker 2: being on the Internet or so forth. So it is
• 31:24
Speaker 2: now it involved. We have over one hundred and fifty
• 31:27
Speaker 2: exhibitors there. AUBU booth is sold out. We have outfitters
• 31:31
Speaker 2: from all over the United States out out west. If
• 31:34
Speaker 2: you wanted to book a elk hunt or something from
• 31:37
Speaker 2: someone in Colorado or New Mexico, Wyoming, they'll be there.
• 31:41
Speaker 8: We have outfitters from Canada. If you want to book
• 31:45
Speaker 8: a moose hunt or a bear hunt. They're there. We
• 31:48
Speaker 8: have seven outfitters from South Africa. So if you want
• 31:51
Speaker 8: to do a safari, come down and talk to those guys.
• 31:53
Speaker 8: They can tell you, you know, the cost of it,
• 31:56
Speaker 8: what's involved in it, and so forth, and you can
• 31:58
Speaker 8: get the information go back and think about it and
• 32:01
Speaker 8: need either book a trip or just just find out
• 32:06
  Speaker 8: all the information.
• 32:06
Speaker 2: And one of the things I like about this, Glenn,
• 32:09
Speaker 2: is that there's a lot of as we call them,
• 32:11
Speaker 2: good old boys and girls that come in that you know,
• 32:13
Speaker 2: we talk about the safaris and we and all of
• 32:15
Speaker 2: a sudden stuff and that's all well and good. There's
• 32:17
Speaker 2: a lot of people around here that love that. But
• 32:18
Speaker 2: if you just want to come in and just talk
• 32:20
Speaker 2: about how, you know, how you go deer hunting up
• 32:23
Speaker 2: north or wherever, that that's line too.
• 32:25
Speaker 8: When you first come in, the trout fishermen will be there.
• 32:29
Speaker 8: They have a couple of booths set up. You can
• 32:31
Speaker 8: talk to them about what's going on in the world
• 32:33
Speaker 8: of trout fishing, where they're stalking and so forth, and
• 32:35
Speaker 8: how things are going, or if you want to talk
• 32:38
  Speaker 8: about with the d n R about what's going on
• 32:41
Speaker 8: with the hunter regulations and so forth, there. They're uh
• 32:45
Speaker 8: people will be there there. People will also be there
• 32:50
Speaker 8: talking about what's going on with the Wildlife Division, whether
• 32:53
Speaker 8: they're trapping rattlesnakes or bears or ever one, and what's
• 32:56
Speaker 8: going on with their local studies. You can talk to
• 32:59
Speaker 8: those people. There's a information there at the West Vine
• 33:02
  Speaker 8: and Fishing Show.
• 33:02
Speaker 2: There is, and there's because food always interests me. Absolutely,
• 33:06
Speaker 2: there's some there's some great booths for food there.
• 33:09
Speaker 8: Absolutely. The Crazy Pickle Guy will be there, Crazy cucumber Man.
• 33:13
Speaker 8: He's called and we told the pickle the pickle Man.
• 33:16
Speaker 2: I'll tell you about this first time I went to
• 33:17
Speaker 2: this event several years ago, and then when I've worked
• 33:20
Speaker 2: at the last couple of years, just seeing the line
• 33:23
Speaker 2: that they have. I mean, you know, when before I
• 33:27
Speaker 2: started going to this show and work at it every year,
• 33:29
Speaker 2: if you said pickles, I said deal, sweet, maybe hot
• 33:34
Speaker 2: bread and butter. This is a whole different level the
• 33:38
Speaker 2: varieties of different pickles that this guy has. Glenn.
• 33:41
Speaker 8: Absolutely, it's a great hit. You would think, why will
• 33:44
Speaker 8: you be selling pickles at a Western fishing show. It's
• 33:47
Speaker 8: an attraction. People come in for that.
• 33:49
Speaker 2: Okay, And where's he from? Where's he out?
• 33:51
Speaker 8: Of he's from Pennsylvania.
• 33:52
  Speaker 2: Pennsylvania. Okay.
• 33:53
Speaker 8: The reason I know he sold out of pickles last
• 33:55
Speaker 8: year and he had to go back Friday night and
• 33:57
Speaker 8: get more pickles for Saturday. And there's other vendors there.
• 34:02
Speaker 8: If you want beef, jerky or ever want, it's there.
• 34:05
Speaker 8: People stilling candy and so forth. There's something there for everyone.
• 34:08
Speaker 2: And again the hours are gonna be noon till nine
• 34:12
Speaker 2: on Friday, nine or nine on Saturday, ten to five
• 34:14
Speaker 2: on Sunday. I do have to ask you about the
• 34:17
Speaker 2: elephant in the room though. Okay, the old saying goes Glenn.
• 34:20
Speaker 2: Everybody talks about the weather, but no one does anything
• 34:23
Speaker 2: about it. Looks like accumulating snow is going to kick
• 34:25
Speaker 2: in late Saturday afternoon, possibly going through Sunday night. Models
• 34:29
Speaker 2: are all different, still too far out that Brian Hughes
• 34:31
Speaker 2: of the world would say, it's too far out for
• 34:34
Speaker 2: us to do any kind of predictions. But the show
• 34:37
  Speaker 2: must go on.
• 34:37
Speaker 8: Absolutely, we will be there rain snow fleet everyone, it's
• 34:41
Speaker 8: the doors are gonna be open. Come on down, get
• 34:44
Speaker 8: out on the weather, come down and enjoy the show.
• 34:47
Speaker 2: You know when you can safely do so. If that's
• 34:49
Speaker 2: the case, and look it may I mean, we don't
• 34:51
Speaker 2: know yet. But the bottom line is these folks are
• 34:53
Speaker 2: already probably starting I mean it's Wednesday now, they're already
• 34:57
Speaker 2: starting to either come in or getting ready to come in,
• 35:00
Speaker 2: come in no matter what. And so the show is
• 35:02
Speaker 2: going to go on, is what you're telling me, as scheduled,
• 35:04
  Speaker 2: even on Sunday.
• 35:05
Speaker 8: Yeah. In fact, I'm getting calls. I started getting calls yesterday.
• 35:08
Speaker 8: What are you going from people that from out of
• 35:11
Speaker 8: state want to come to the show. What are you
• 35:12
Speaker 8: going to do about the snow? Hey, the doors are open.
• 35:16
Speaker 2: Will be there, Okay, yeah, one hundred percent you will
• 35:18
Speaker 2: indeed be there for Dave Island Show on five Any
• 35:20
Speaker 2: Live is brought to you a part by your hometown
• 35:22
Speaker 2: baseball team, the Charles Dirty Birds. It's wintertime, of course,
• 35:25
Speaker 2: but we're thinking about baseball at Gomart Ballpark. Now'd be
• 35:28
Speaker 2: a great time to get your season tickets. Dirty Birds
• 35:30
Speaker 2: merchant more and be listening over the next couple days.
• 35:32
Speaker 2: For some more information about some things related to Valentine's
• 35:35
Speaker 2: Day that they're going to be doing at the ballpark,
• 35:36
Speaker 2: visit Dirtybirds baseball dot com for more information and the
• 35:40
Speaker 2: thing about the show is, and again I've worked there
• 35:42
Speaker 2: for the last several years. I'll be over there Saturday morning.
• 35:46
Speaker 2: There is always something new every year. Your familiar favorites
• 35:50
Speaker 2: are there, but then there's always new things over year.
• 35:52
Speaker 2: What are some new things we have this year?
• 35:53
Speaker 8: Yes, well again this year, we're gonna have some beautiful
• 35:56
Speaker 8: boats out in the lobby. That's been a big hit,
• 35:59
Speaker 8: that's coming back. But we have one thing special that
• 36:02
Speaker 8: we're really blessed in having. We will have the world's
• 36:05
Speaker 8: largest white tail antler there that's ever been found, ever
• 36:08
Speaker 8: been scored. It was found in nineteen fifty nine in Nebraska,
• 36:13
Speaker 8: and we're fortunate enough to have it at the show
• 36:15
Speaker 8: this year. It's scored two hundred and eighteen points. And
• 36:18
Speaker 8: if you're aware of the scoring for the white tail deer,
• 36:21
Speaker 8: if you kill one with archery, it's a one hundred
• 36:24
Speaker 8: and ten, it goes into record book. If you kill
• 36:26
Speaker 8: one with a rifle, it's one hundred and thirty. This
• 36:28
Speaker 8: guy has got one that's with two hundred and eighteen points, So.
• 36:32
Speaker 2: Two hundred and I don't know a whole lot about this.
• 36:35
Speaker 2: I rely on the Chris Lawrences of the world.
• 36:36
Speaker 8: But two hundred and eighteen, two hundred and eighteen. It's
• 36:38
Speaker 8: the world's largest, and we're that alone is worth coming,
• 36:42
Speaker 8: getting out in the snow and coming down to the
• 36:44
Speaker 8: show to see. So we're really fortunate to have it,
• 36:48
Speaker 8: and we're really looking forward to everyone getting to come
• 36:51
Speaker 8: and see it, all right. So there's something new for everyone,
• 36:54
  Speaker 8: all right.
• 36:54
Speaker 2: And again the hours are nine or Newdle nine on Friday,
• 36:59
Speaker 2: nine to nine and Saturday time five on Sunday, and
• 37:00
Speaker 2: the Coddalseeman Convention Center is going to be rocking, no
• 37:03
Speaker 2: pun intended this weekend because we got this going on.
• 37:06
Speaker 2: I think if I'm correct, there is a gospel music event,
• 37:09
Speaker 2: a contemporary Christian show happening there Friday night. Jason Alding
• 37:14
Speaker 2: is in concert there on Saturday night. And that's one
• 37:17
Speaker 2: of the great things about the new if you will,
• 37:20
Speaker 2: CODDLESEEUM and Convention Center because last year at this time
• 37:23
Speaker 2: we had a top country concert going on there. Red's
• 37:26
Speaker 2: Caravan was going on with Unfortunately the Reds made the
• 37:29
Speaker 2: decision this year not to do a Red's Caravan at
• 37:30
Speaker 2: all this year, so that's out. And then we had
• 37:33
Speaker 2: the Hunting and Fishing show going on, and I remember
• 37:36
Speaker 2: the gentleman and his name escapes Me that was in
• 37:38
Speaker 2: concert last year at the Coddleseumconvention Center, was all excited
• 37:42
Speaker 2: when he found out that in another part of the
• 37:44
Speaker 2: building the Hunting and Fishing show was going on, and
• 37:46
Speaker 2: he made arrangements to get out among the people and
• 37:49
Speaker 2: come to the hunting and Fishing show.
• 37:51
Speaker 8: It's something for everyone at the coliseum this weekend.
• 37:55
Speaker 2: All right, and there are plenty of tickets available the
• 37:58
Speaker 2: vending But when he said the words sold out, the
• 38:02
Speaker 2: booths themselves have sold out. But you never sell out
• 38:04
Speaker 2: because as far as for the people, there's always room.
• 38:07
Speaker 2: And I'll guarantee you even with the heavy weather coming
• 38:09
Speaker 2: in on Sunday, I promise you that place will still
• 38:12
  Speaker 2: be packed.
• 38:14
Speaker 8: And the tickets is a real deal. It's just twelve
• 38:16
Speaker 8: dollars for adults and children under twelve get in free.
• 38:19
  Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean it's a great value. And look, I
• 38:23
Speaker 2: got buddies of mine that will come all three days
• 38:25
Speaker 2: because they say that they can't take it all in
• 38:28
Speaker 2: in two or three hours, so they'll literally come back Friday,
• 38:30
Speaker 2: Saturday and Sunday, and they bring the entire family with
• 38:34
Speaker 2: them as well. And you know it's one of those
• 38:36
Speaker 2: events that the family can do together. There's not a
• 38:38
Speaker 2: lot of things these days that the family can do together,
• 38:40
Speaker 2: but this is this is one of those. Yet.
• 38:42
Speaker 8: We have something we call an Outdoor Youth Challenge where
• 38:45
Speaker 8: the youngsters can come in and they can shoot archery,
• 38:48
Speaker 8: they can do fly casting. The Department Natural Resources will
• 38:52
Speaker 8: have their laser shoot trailer. They go in and shoot
• 38:55
Speaker 8: a laser shoot and it's an educational thing for them.
• 38:58
Speaker 8: The officers will help them decide whether it's a safe
• 39:01
Speaker 8: shot or a dangerous shot. So if there's something for
• 39:04
  Speaker 8: everyone there.
• 39:06
Speaker 2: All right, Glenn Jerald from the Trophy Anders Association, appreciate you.

• 39:18
Speaker 2: to cancel. It's going to be going on, and I'll
• 39:20
Speaker 2: do want to mention that Chris Lawrence will be doing
• 39:22
Speaker 2: West Virginia Outdoors live from there on Saturday morning. I
• 39:24
Speaker 2: get to be Chris's showrunner. That's what I get to do.
• 39:27
Speaker 2: That's my job. I get to go. I get to
• 39:29
Speaker 2: go get the people and bring them in. I'm working
• 39:31
Speaker 2: for Chris On, so you think you'd buy me some

• 46:14
  Speaker 4: You know.
• 46:15
Speaker 2: It's we'll take either one. But sometimes the cash and
• 46:18
Speaker 2: the checks go even further because Union Mission's got deals
• 46:21
Speaker 2: with people where they can get deals better than what
• 46:23

  Speaker 10: UH.
• 46:27
Speaker 2: And and as I said, we're going to have some
• 46:30
Speaker 2: prizes for people that come in there as well. I
• 46:33
Speaker 2: did want to mention something real, real quick, and then
• 46:37
Speaker 2: we'll send it live to the Capitol. And there's not
• 46:40
Speaker 2: a lot of time to get into this. I'll get
• 46:41
Speaker 2: into it more tomorrow and I'll get into it definitely
• 46:43
  Speaker 2: a Metro News midday today. We've we've heard a lot
• 46:46
Speaker 2: about ice, uh, and it always seemed like I'm not
• 46:50
Speaker 2: talking about frozen water. I'm talking about the organization ICE.
• 46:55
  Speaker 15: And UH.
• 46:55
Speaker 2: And I you know, and you see on social media.
• 46:58
Speaker 2: ICE is here. They're at this Mexican restaurant. We've seen
• 47:01
Speaker 2: it here in the valley. They're at this roofing company,
• 47:03
Speaker 2: and so on and so forth. A situation happened yesterday,
• 47:08
Speaker 2: and I just have a lot of questions about it.
• 47:11
  Speaker 2: I do. And look, I am a person. You can't
• 47:14
Speaker 2: figure me out politically, so don't even try. But I
• 47:17
Speaker 2: will say this, I do not have questions about deporting
• 47:22
Speaker 2: people that are here illegally. I do have questions about
• 47:25
Speaker 2: sometimes the way it's being done. And I think that's
• 47:27
Speaker 2: a fair assessment. So I talked to my sister earlier
• 47:31
Speaker 2: this morning. My niece who is nineteen years old, lives
• 47:35
Speaker 2: in Wyoming County. Yesterday, was driving through the city of
• 47:39
Speaker 2: Oceana and was pulled over by people identifying themselves as
• 47:45
Speaker 2: ICE agents. Now, if you knew my niece Malia, and
• 47:48
Speaker 2: I'm going to say this the most politically correct way
• 47:51
Speaker 2: I can, so Ryan doesn't pull the plug on me here.
• 47:54
Speaker 2: She's the widest human being that ever lived. She is,
• 47:59
Speaker 2: as my sisters said about her, she's so white, she's
• 48:01
Speaker 2: she's almost transparent, bright orange hair. She got pulled over
• 48:08
Speaker 2: in the city of Oceanna, in Wyoming County yesterday by
• 48:11
Speaker 2: people identifying themselves as ICE. She did the right thing,
• 48:15
Speaker 2: you know, she pulled over, complied, a little scared, of course.
• 48:19
Speaker 2: They asked her where she was going, what she was doing.
• 48:24
Speaker 2: They walked This was eleven o'clock in the morning yesterday
• 48:26
Speaker 2: in the city of Oceanna. They walked around the car,
• 48:29
Speaker 2: did not search your car, did not ask to search
• 48:31
Speaker 2: your car, didn't open the trump or trunk or anything
• 48:33
Speaker 2: like that. Didn't ask her if she had anything illegal,
• 48:36
Speaker 2: you know, drugs or transporting anyone. They did look in
• 48:40
Speaker 2: the back seat. And I'm not that all that close
• 48:44
Speaker 2: to my niece, but I will say that if she's
• 48:46
Speaker 2: anything like my sister, uh, it probably looks like your
• 48:49
Speaker 2: run down apartment in the back of her car because
• 48:51
Speaker 2: she's a little messy. I got the neat gene in
• 48:54
Speaker 2: the family. My sister did not. You know, everybody's different.
• 48:58
Speaker 2: They questioned her. They'd not asked her to get out
• 49:00
Speaker 2: of the car. They did ask her for a driver's license.
• 49:02
Speaker 2: They ran her driver's license, and then they gave her
• 49:06
Speaker 2: driver's license back, tapped on the window and said you're
• 49:08
Speaker 2: free to go, and that was the end of course,
• 49:11
Speaker 2: nineteen year old female driving alone. She was a little
• 49:15
Speaker 2: frightened about the whole thing, but she she held her own,
• 49:18
Speaker 2: not confrontational or anything like that. And I guess you
• 49:25
Speaker 2: know these things when I first when I first saw it,
• 49:31
Speaker 2: and I saw it because my sister posted it on
• 49:34
Speaker 2: social media. And what she did. You know, my sister
• 49:38
Speaker 2: is not political in the least, okay, but she posted
• 49:41
Speaker 2: it just to say to warn people, just to be careful.
• 49:46
Speaker 2: And my niece, I did not have not talked to
• 49:49
Speaker 2: my niece. I did talk to my sister this morning.
• 49:52
Speaker 2: She said that the agents that pulled her over weren't
• 49:56
Speaker 2: really nice and weren't really not nice. If you've seen
• 49:59
Speaker 2: the video, it could have been a lot worse. I
• 50:02
Speaker 2: don't know if they were looking for a vehicle that
• 50:07
Speaker 2: looked similar to what my niece drives. My niece is
• 50:13
Speaker 2: a student already working in the healthcare field like her mother,
• 50:19
  Speaker 2: and I don't know. She wasn't speeding, she wasn't on
• 50:23
Speaker 2: her phone, but they pulled her over because they were
• 50:26
Speaker 2: looking for, I guess, someone who drove a She never
• 50:31
Speaker 2: really was able to ascertain from the agents because smartly,
• 50:34
Speaker 2: she didn't ask, you know, she didn't stick a phone
• 50:37
Speaker 2: in their face like a lot of people do and
• 50:39
Speaker 2: go why am I being pulled over? She didn't do that.
• 50:41
Speaker 2: She did what she was taught and said yes, sir, no, sir,
• 50:46
Speaker 2: and so on and so forth, and they let her
• 50:48
Speaker 2: go after about five minutes after they again, they didn't
• 50:51
Speaker 2: search the car. They just asked. They wanted to know
• 50:53
Speaker 2: where she was going, where she had been, and they
• 50:58
Speaker 2: ran her driver's license. Everything came back clean. And I guess,
• 51:02
Speaker 2: I don't know for some reason, as somebody who's just
• 51:04
Speaker 2: kind of sat back and watched this whole ice thing,
• 51:08
Speaker 2: it goes to uh extremes, It goes and it goes
• 51:14
Speaker 2: to the extreams on both sides. We saw what happened
• 51:16
Speaker 2: in Putnam County where some of my good friends that
• 51:19
Speaker 2: are members of the fire department there we're getting death
• 51:23
Speaker 2: threats because they were asked to bring a ladder truck
• 51:28
Speaker 2: to a scene. Uh, and you're a first responder. You
• 51:31
Speaker 2: don't ask questions. You just show up. That's what first
• 51:33
Speaker 2: responders do. So I guess my point in saying all
• 51:36
  Speaker 2: this is to say that it's a it's a screwed
• 51:39
Speaker 2: up situation regardless. And uh, maybe it hit a little
• 51:43
Speaker 2: closer in the home because it was somebody in my
• 51:44
Speaker 2: family who I'm still If you saw my niece, you
• 51:48
Speaker 2: would think, why in the world would she be pulled over?
• 51:51
Speaker 2: You know? So, but it happened. Tex says anyone who
• 51:55
Speaker 2: agrees to being pulled over for no reason other than
• 51:57
Speaker 2: citizen papers, check those people lick the booth in the ack. Okay,
• 51:59
Speaker 2: Well you can at ben, Tex says Dave. It's another
• 52:02
Speaker 2: business where she's going, where she's been at the free country.
• 52:05
Speaker 2: But I says, the okay to violate everyone's rights. Look
• 52:09
Speaker 2: at the crap Ice is putting up with. I think
• 52:11
Speaker 2: I'd rather be a little stand office too. If I
• 52:12
Speaker 2: were constantly getting death threats, well my my my niece
• 52:15
Speaker 2: now is a little stand office too, Sir madam, I'll
• 52:18
Speaker 2: say that all right. Wilson and Meadows coming up at
• 52:23
Speaker 2: the ten oh six time slot. We'll talk. I'll see
• 52:26
