- 0:00Speaker 1: Yeah, time in scrubs rewatch podcast history that you've been
- 0:09Speaker 1: on the call before me. No, it is the second time.
- 0:14Speaker 1: Well I love it. Oh, look what Casey's got lined
- 0:16Speaker 1: up for the weekend. There's three options behind you. One
- 0:19Speaker 1: of them she's tell her yellow. The yellow is the
- 0:23Speaker 1: pretty one. Tonight, I'm making steak dinner. Are you having
- 0:28Speaker 1: date night? No? No, no, no no. I just decided
- 0:31Speaker 1: I was going to make stake dinner. Y'all need to
- 0:32Speaker 1: do what we do. We have date night in the house.
- 0:36Speaker 1: You don't got kids, right, but they go to bed
- 0:38Speaker 1: at what and by that time I want to go
- 0:42Speaker 1: to bed. For all my parents out there who are
- 0:47Speaker 1: dealing with this in quarantine right now, you know exactly
- 0:51Speaker 1: what I'm talking. I'm sure every parent listening is like,
- 0:55Speaker 1: that's right. All they gotta do is click the ring tone. Yeah,
- 1:01Speaker 1: like your ring tone you can get. I bet every
- 1:03Speaker 1: time I say something to you that sounds like a
- 1:05Speaker 1: guy with no kids and then you answer it, all
- 1:07Speaker 1: those people listening with kids go right. So when you're
- 1:12Speaker 1: a parent, you want to go to bed. Yeah, you know,
- 1:16Speaker 1: you want to go to bed early unless something, unless
- 1:18Speaker 1: you've got something cooking for later on you know what
- 1:21Speaker 1: I mean. Those are the days. Listen, I'm gonna tell
- 1:23Speaker 1: you the days that I try to help out the
- 1:25Speaker 1: most is when there's when there's not even promise of
- 1:28Speaker 1: sex at the end of the night, when there's like
- 1:30Speaker 1: a little when she gives you, just like when my
- 1:32Speaker 1: wife gives me just that little bit of that little spark,
- 1:36Speaker 1: there's like a little sparkle in her eye that I
- 1:39Speaker 1: and I'm like, yo, you know what I need to
- 1:40Speaker 1: do today. I need to make sure I support help
- 1:44Speaker 1: as much as I can around the house. Because you
- 1:47Speaker 1: feel like God's gonna put you over the line. Something
- 1:50Speaker 1: can happen, and it's so disappointing when it doesn't happen.
- 1:53Speaker 1: When it doesn't and it's like not appreciate it, and
- 1:57Speaker 1: then you realize, oh shit, that my wife every day. Right,
- 2:03Speaker 1: So when you have kids, you kind of have to
- 2:04Speaker 1: schedule sex, right, You kind of have to be like,
- 2:06Speaker 1: how's Wednesday at eight? No, I've I've I've know, you
- 2:11Speaker 1: know what. We used to try to schedule it and
- 2:13Speaker 1: now it's just like, look, if it happens, it happens.
- 2:17Speaker 1: You know what I mean, You'll get you know, I
- 2:19Speaker 1: used to put it in the ICL. No, it would
- 2:24Speaker 1: just be like what what color it would be like
- 2:27Speaker 1: it's been a couple of weeks, now, yeh, that's what
- 2:30Speaker 1: you do. Yeah. Is she ever the one that's like
- 2:34Speaker 1: donald has been a couple of weeks now? Yeah? Absolutely.
- 2:37Speaker 1: Oh that's nice, dude, we got we got a good
- 2:40Speaker 1: thing going. No, obviously, you're very sexually attracting to each other.
- 2:43Speaker 1: I can feel it. I can feel it when I'm
- 2:44Speaker 1: around you. I can feel the heat. Yeah, you know,
- 2:49Speaker 1: it's it's very interesting. My wife is you know, we're
- 2:52Speaker 1: quarantined and everything like that. So she's like, you know, I, um,
- 2:57Speaker 1: I want to be very careful how I word all
- 3:00Speaker 1: of this. She doesn't listen to the podcast, but ahead,
- 3:02Speaker 1: I still don't want it to come and buy there
- 3:03Speaker 1: nobody listening listening. But she's like, right, she's like, this
- 3:09Speaker 1: quarantine thing has gotten me, you know, you know, all
- 3:12Speaker 1: out of sorts. Uh, and my eating habits and stuff
- 3:17Speaker 1: aren't the same. But I'm gonna tall you something right now.
- 3:21Speaker 1: I like a little bit of cushion on my baby,
- 3:24Speaker 1: you know what I mean. It's nice. It feels good,
- 3:28Speaker 1: you know. And she likes to be like pinky thin,
- 3:32Speaker 1: you know, what I'm saying, and it's like, I like
- 3:34Speaker 1: that too, but I like it when she's got a
- 3:36Speaker 1: little bit of something to hold onto, you know what
- 3:38Speaker 1: I'm saying. So, but I'm not tracking. You're saying she's
- 3:40Speaker 1: too skinny for you. Right now, she's saying she feels
- 3:44Speaker 1: like she's going the opposite direction of skinny and it
- 3:49Speaker 1: doesn't make her feel attractive to me. But look to me,
- 3:54Speaker 1: that ship is made. I'm gonna I'm gonna help you. Okay,
- 4:00Speaker 1: you're gonna you're gonna take You're gonna unplug the peloton
- 4:02Speaker 1: and then you're gonna take some scissors and just cut
- 4:04Speaker 1: the plug off, break break that ship. I don't know
- 4:07Speaker 1: how much money I pay for that peloton, peloton a
- 4:14Speaker 1: want on sponsors or when I doesn't have a pelt.
- 4:18Speaker 1: They didn't send us, they didn't send us a peloton
- 4:21Speaker 1: for free. Plot ship that it costs me money. That's
- 4:25Speaker 1: that's right. Two grands sitting in the corner, all right,
- 4:28Speaker 1: And how do we how we fix it so it
- 4:29Speaker 1: doesn't break? Maybe I don't turn the circuit for that
- 4:33Speaker 1: plug off and be like, baby, I don't know that
- 4:35Speaker 1: plug is broken. The peloton is out of order. And
- 4:38Speaker 1: then do you know how the gym has put it
- 4:40Speaker 1: out of order? Sign? You put it out of order
- 4:41Speaker 1: sign on the peloton. Know what I'm gonna do is
- 4:43Speaker 1: I'm gonna just keep cooking with butter, yep and freaking oil.
- 4:47Speaker 1: Put some meat on those bones. I'm gonna I'm gonna
- 4:49Speaker 1: just make burgers and hot dogs. You know what I'm saying.
- 4:52Speaker 1: I'm gonna go out and get some potato chips. Sabotag, sabotage.
- 4:58Speaker 1: There's a lot of wane to eat. I bet is
- 5:00Speaker 1: a lot of curvy women who are listening who are like,
- 5:02Speaker 1: I need my husband to appreciate my curbs. And here's
- 5:07Speaker 1: Donald saying he appreciates you. I never got so many
- 5:10Speaker 1: likes as to when I cooked up those little tiny
- 5:13Speaker 1: party wings and I posted it on Instagram. Let me
- 5:16Speaker 1: tell you something right now, you want to make the
- 5:18Speaker 1: ladies like your pictures, post something that you cooked and
- 5:22Speaker 1: make that ship look good. I guarantee you you get
- 5:25Speaker 1: all people sliding into my d M. Know you could cook. Really,
- 5:31Speaker 1: that's funny because some guys, like you know, show their abs,
- 5:34Speaker 1: and you're out here showing your chicken wings. No, I
- 5:36Speaker 1: show you the food I'll show you what you want. Mama,
- 5:39Speaker 1: you don't want to do Nobody want these abs. Nobody
- 5:41Speaker 1: wants abs my abs. Get the funk out of here.
- 5:45Speaker 1: Maybe Michael B. Jordan's abs. They don't want my abs.
- 5:48Speaker 1: You know what's funked up. We do all this work
- 5:50Speaker 1: to try and be thin, and it's what you're saying
- 5:52Speaker 1: about Casey, and I'm sure there's I know for a
- 5:54Speaker 1: fact as women who think that about we men. It's like,
- 5:57Speaker 1: we do all this work to try and make our
- 6:00Speaker 1: bodies look good, and then the person you're with is like, no,
- 6:02Speaker 1: I'd rather you have a little mean on your bones.
- 6:05Speaker 1: It just it just seems more healthy. So it's for
- 6:07Speaker 1: our own vanity though, It's for our own vanity, not
- 6:10Speaker 1: for our partner. No, you do it for you although
- 6:14Speaker 1: although that's bullshit though, because when you do a good
- 6:16Speaker 1: as hell your woman is like, damn, yeah, I'm gonna
- 6:19Speaker 1: keep in one d with you. I would want to
- 6:21Speaker 1: release right. I would prefer to look like a male
- 6:32Speaker 1: porn star. Okay, slow down. Do you mean because they're
- 6:37Speaker 1: often muscular or because they have baby's arm sized penises?
- 6:44Speaker 1: I guess it's a Joe, Well, why are you fanning yourself.
- 6:53Speaker 1: You guys, Joel is fanning yourself with her hands. Listen.
- 6:58Speaker 1: I feel like, if you're in porn, you have to look,
- 7:01Speaker 1: you have to be, you know, muscular. There's not a
- 7:03Speaker 1: lot of overweight male stars. I'm told no, well, no
- 7:09Speaker 1: there are, but for the most part, most of the
- 7:14Speaker 1: males in porn are like you know, ripped beyond belief
- 7:19Speaker 1: or or twenty six years old and don't haven't had
- 7:23Speaker 1: to lift weights yet and diet yet and stuff like that.
- 7:27Speaker 1: I would love to be of that caliber uh male
- 7:31Speaker 1: right now, where either I can stick with the regiment
- 7:34Speaker 1: long enough for people to see it, or if there
- 7:38Speaker 1: were some type of miracle something out there that would
- 7:41Speaker 1: make me just the I remember twenty six man, remember
- 7:44Speaker 1: the Titans was Listen. You know what I'm saying. I
- 7:47Speaker 1: don't remember that. I need I need that to be
- 7:52Speaker 1: I needed to be made. I need someone out there,
- 7:54Speaker 1: whatever scientists is out there right now. I am begging
- 7:57Speaker 1: you because this ship is Listen, man, listen. I like
- 8:03Speaker 1: it on my wife. I don't like it on me. Right,
- 8:05Speaker 1: We'll stop eating. I mean I can solve it for you.
- 8:08Speaker 1: Stop eating all that ship. I smoked too much weed.
- 8:10Speaker 1: To stop eating all of that, then don't. Then this
- 8:14Speaker 1: is so fucking stupid. You're eating, you're smoking something that
- 8:17Speaker 1: makes you hungry, and then you fucking eat bad food.
- 8:20Speaker 1: It's not fucking rocket science. I know. I understand that
- 8:26Speaker 1: get goals, set your goals, and be committed. So you're
- 8:29Speaker 1: saying I shouldn't smoke weed anymore. No, you shouldn't if
- 8:32Speaker 1: it gives you that bad of a munkey problem, controlling,
- 8:34Speaker 1: if you're a grown ass man. So when I see
- 8:37Speaker 1: you the next time and you've got God's Green lettuce
- 8:41Speaker 1: and you want to smoke that ship and I say, no,
- 8:44Speaker 1: you can't, be like, stop being a pussy. That's all
- 8:46Speaker 1: I'm saying. I won't. I'll say I respect you, Donald.
- 8:48Speaker 1: I understand that you have a munchy problem, and I
- 8:50Speaker 1: understand that you need to take a break from God's lettuce. Okay,
- 8:53Speaker 1: there it is solved. Your weight problem. There is. Now
- 8:58Speaker 1: I feel bad for you because Casey's not as as
- 9:00Speaker 1: chunky as you like. No, she's actually she works out. Really,
- 9:05Speaker 1: she's too much strong in it. Right. She looks great.
- 9:07Speaker 1: I just saw her on the FaceTime and she's very pretty.
- 9:10Speaker 1: She is very pretty. Did good? I did very well.
- 9:14Speaker 1: And her hair, she has this beautiful hair. She takes
- 9:17Speaker 1: very good care of it, and she you know, it's
- 9:19Speaker 1: like a work of art, all those beautiful curls. She's
- 9:23Speaker 1: blessed with, you know, a lot of hair. And the
- 9:25Speaker 1: way your hair mixes with her hair to create Wilder's hair.
- 9:29Speaker 1: You know. I'm I'm, I'm, I got, I got, I
- 9:32Speaker 1: got you know, beautiful babies too. That's what that's what happens.
- 9:35Speaker 1: We live a blessed life. Donald wait, skinny, fat, medium, whatever,
- 9:39Speaker 1: you live a blessed life. I am very, very very
- 9:42Speaker 1: happy with what God has given me. Thank God every night,
- 9:47Speaker 1: and we thank God and the universe for you beautiful listeners,
- 9:51Speaker 1: because um, Donald and I were talking about how much
- 9:54Speaker 1: fun we're having doing this, and it is a bright
- 9:57Speaker 1: spot in our you know, so many people on social
- 9:59Speaker 1: media thank us for doing this, and I always have
- 10:01Speaker 1: the same response in my head, which is thank you
- 10:04Speaker 1: for tuning in because we really I think Donald and
- 10:07Speaker 1: I thought this would be a fun little thing to do,
- 10:09Speaker 1: but I'm but it's become so fun for us. We
- 10:12Speaker 1: look forward to it. We know we're gonna laugh with
- 10:13Speaker 1: you guys, and we know we have these new beautiful
- 10:16Speaker 1: friends Daniel and Joel that we get to see twice
- 10:19Speaker 1: a week and giggle with. And I think it's it's
- 10:21Speaker 1: we want to thank all of you for listening. Thank you.
- 10:25Speaker 1: And people are fucking nuts, man, I mean no, none
- 10:27Speaker 1: of these listeners, all of our listeners are saying that.
- 10:31Speaker 1: Being said, let's get into it. Let me tell you something.
- 10:34Speaker 1: I want to play you something that was on my
- 10:36Speaker 1: on my Twitter machine today. Okay, I'm gonna plays the
- 10:39Speaker 1: first time ever played you guys something off my phone
- 10:41Speaker 1: because I have a question and I want Joel and
- 10:44Speaker 1: entailed away and or people always this fucking batship in
- 10:47Speaker 1: the world, or is just everyone filming everything? Now before
- 10:52Speaker 1: you answer, Before you answer, I'm gonna play you a woman.
- 10:55Speaker 1: This woman is berating her dentist for for for asking
- 11:00Speaker 1: that she wear a mask. Okay, she is. She is
- 11:03Speaker 1: berating that. I assume maybe it's the receptionist at the
- 11:06Speaker 1: dental office because she doesn't want to wear a mask.
- 11:08Speaker 1: And we represent the medical community here on Fake Doctor's
- 11:11Speaker 1: Real Friends, and I got livid myself as a fake
- 11:15Speaker 1: doctor listeners. I'm just gonna play a little section of
- 11:17Speaker 1: this woman who is very upset that she has to
- 11:20Speaker 1: wear a mask to the dentist. The reason why I'm not,
- 11:24Speaker 1: you're gonna work on my teeth now my nose. I
- 11:26Speaker 1: don't wear a mask eving my teeth clean. But it's
- 11:28Speaker 1: about the seine teeth art over. I'll cover my golf car.
- 11:31Speaker 1: Go be seated. Now, No, you're not. You're not filling
- 11:34Speaker 1: out performs and letting us teenserture. It's about protecting You
- 11:37Speaker 1: can't take high temperature. That's against the law. All right,
- 11:40Speaker 1: well I can't. You're not an empty You're not. We
- 11:43Speaker 1: cannot see you. And I have a right to sue
- 11:45Speaker 1: you for harassing me, a manager, and this entire company.
- 11:49Speaker 1: Smile whatever you're call it, dental, I do have that right.
- 11:52Speaker 1: And I talked to my a journey before I came
- 11:54Speaker 1: here to talk to her attorney. So does he want
- 11:55Speaker 1: that to happen. I've waited long enough for my teeth
- 11:58Speaker 1: to be cleaned. Okay, let's get this done. Let's get
- 12:07Speaker 1: this What's crazy is this crazy woman is prepared to
- 12:11Speaker 1: go now have all these people work on her mouth.
- 12:14Speaker 1: Let's get this done. Yeah, you know I'm gonna say,
- 12:18Speaker 1: I'm gonna say something. All she has to do is
- 12:20Speaker 1: put a mask on, she said, She said, you're not
- 12:23Speaker 1: working on my nose. But the mask only has to
- 12:28Speaker 1: be on from when she enters the building to sitting
- 12:32Speaker 1: in the chair. How do you is going to take
- 12:37Speaker 1: the mask off? They're just asking for now. It might
- 12:42Speaker 1: be the embarrassment of I forgot my mask, and I
- 12:44Speaker 1: don't want to feel like an asshole because I know
- 12:46Speaker 1: everybody's supposed to wear a donald. There is no way
- 12:48Speaker 1: that that office would not have provided her with a
- 12:51Speaker 1: freaking mask. Okay, I'm just saying, Okay, this is what
- 12:54Speaker 1: I don't understand. It just gets me so riled up.
- 12:57Speaker 1: Get the business. I have no business speaking for the
- 13:00Speaker 1: medical community. But since it's a show about fake doctors,
- 13:02Speaker 1: I want to be like, fuck you. Yeah, you know
- 13:06Speaker 1: this is gonna upset people, and this is gonna make
- 13:09Speaker 1: a lot of people be like, you know what, You're right.
- 13:11Speaker 1: The president ain't wearing a mask. There are a bunch
- 13:14Speaker 1: of people who voted for the president and they feel like,
- 13:17Speaker 1: if he doesn't need to do it, why do I
- 13:19Speaker 1: need to do it? He speaks for me, just like
- 13:22Speaker 1: the only country, the only country that's politicized mask wearing. Dude,
- 13:27Speaker 1: the politicis everything is politicized now, the virus is politicized.
- 13:32Speaker 1: I don't know if this is I don't know if
- 13:33Speaker 1: this is gonna make the show it is because we
- 13:35Speaker 1: don't get political. And you don't even have to go
- 13:37Speaker 1: down to Trump thing because I don't, I mean, we
- 13:38Speaker 1: don't even do. You don't need to touch that fucking fire.
- 13:42Speaker 1: All you have to say is how is it? How?
- 13:45Speaker 1: I just can't get my head around why people are
- 13:47Speaker 1: so crazy. If you want to wear a mask, fine,
- 13:49Speaker 1: don't go to the dentist. Well why are you yelling
- 13:51Speaker 1: at these poor fucking why the receptionist whose job it
- 13:55Speaker 1: is to make sure that everyone in the waiting room
- 13:56Speaker 1: is safe. Listen, If it wasn't invisible and you could
- 13:59Speaker 1: see this threat, everybody would be wearing a mask if
- 14:02Speaker 1: this ship was If this was considered a true threat,
- 14:04Speaker 1: like somebody with a gun walking into a room and
- 14:07Speaker 1: the only way you're not going to get and the
- 14:08Speaker 1: motherfucker's walking outside and choosing places to walk into. If
- 14:13Speaker 1: that were the case, everybody would wear a mask because
- 14:16Speaker 1: they wouldn't want to get shot. They're opening Disney World.
- 14:18Speaker 1: Do you know how many do you mean people died
- 14:20Speaker 1: in Florida yesterday. Yeah, I understand that they're opening Disney World.
- 14:26Speaker 1: They feel that they have the proper Listen, man, you
- 14:30Speaker 1: can't tell anybody to put a mask on. You could
- 14:32Speaker 1: tell as many people as you want to put a
- 14:34Speaker 1: mask on. They're gonna live their life. Man, They're gonna
- 14:36Speaker 1: do what they want to do. That's what it boils
- 14:37Speaker 1: down to. Dan say something, wise, Wise, Joel, talk some
- 14:42Speaker 1: sense into incredibly help all. I'm saying, either one of
- 14:50Speaker 1: you please educated what we're missing because I don't understand.
- 14:53Speaker 1: I just understand. First. I think that there's a lot
- 14:58Speaker 1: of easy to act us uh information out there, misinformation
- 15:03Speaker 1: available to a lot of people who don't think that
- 15:05Speaker 1: this is a big deal, which is aggravating. I know
- 15:10Speaker 1: several people who have died to see a whole family
- 15:12Speaker 1: is devastated. We've seen poor women have to bury sons
- 15:16Speaker 1: and grandsons and husbands in the span of a week.
- 15:20Speaker 1: I mean, there's footage of doctors loading bodies into like
- 15:23Speaker 1: refrigerated trucks. It's it's intense to meet the amount of
- 15:28Speaker 1: denial that's going on. I don't know what we as
- 15:30Speaker 1: individuals can do to convince the masses that don't seem
- 15:33Speaker 1: to think this is a problem. It just means for me,
- 15:37Speaker 1: like the best thing I've been able to do from
- 15:38Speaker 1: my mindset is just prepared to stay in for a
- 15:41Speaker 1: very long time because it's clear to me people aren't
- 15:44Speaker 1: taking this seriously despite the fact that numbers are rising.
- 15:46Speaker 1: We have government officials who could very easily resolve this
- 15:50Speaker 1: problem with the stroke of a pen, being like no
- 15:52Speaker 1: businesses are allowed to be open, and we're going to
- 15:55Speaker 1: try to make it so that mayors of large cities
- 15:58Speaker 1: are unable to pass ordinances. It's happening in Georgia. It's
- 16:01Speaker 1: just crazy. It's criminal. There's there's eleven thousand, four hundred
- 16:06Speaker 1: thirty three new confirmed cases of coronavirus in Florida today
- 16:10Speaker 1: and nine deaths today. This was posted four hours ago,
- 16:14Speaker 1: so god knows what it is now, but they'll be
- 16:16Speaker 1: over a hundred deaths in Florida today. They're opening Disney World.
- 16:19Speaker 1: All I'm gonna say, and and you know, I hate
- 16:22Speaker 1: that this. I feel like this is the kind of
- 16:24Speaker 1: thing that changes people's minds. But so often we see
- 16:28Speaker 1: images of stuff like war, and we see images of
- 16:31Speaker 1: stuff like destruction, and those kinds of very raw graphic
- 16:35Speaker 1: images tend to sway people in ways were like I
- 16:38Speaker 1: had no idea this was going on. You think about
- 16:40Speaker 1: struggles in the Middle East. You think about places like
- 16:42Speaker 1: Syria where people are carrying, you know, their children out
- 16:46Speaker 1: of blasted out buildings, and you see the grief in
- 16:49Speaker 1: this person's eyes as they're holding their dead child. And unfortunately,
- 16:54Speaker 1: with COVID, nobody is allowed to see anybody. The second
- 16:58Speaker 1: that you go into that hospital, that's the last time
- 17:01Speaker 1: you see that person. So the image of COVID, the
- 17:05Speaker 1: image of the sick person is I'm at home. The
- 17:08Speaker 1: images stay home, and the images out of sight, out
- 17:12Speaker 1: of mind. Unfortunately, like where are all of these hundreds
- 17:16Speaker 1: of thousands of people? There are hundreds of thousands of
- 17:20Speaker 1: people who have died in this country, literally no images,
- 17:23Speaker 1: there's no sick people at all. You think about like Chernobyl,
- 17:28Speaker 1: it starts out with this very ominous image of a
- 17:30Speaker 1: bunch of people standing on a bridge while a little
- 17:32Speaker 1: like white flex come down, which are like, you know,
- 17:35Speaker 1: that's that's the symbol for the viewer who knows the
- 17:37Speaker 1: results of Chernobyl to be like, that's the thing, that's
- 17:41Speaker 1: the bad part, that's the bad stuff right there, and
- 17:43Speaker 1: that's the COVID coming in. And then over the rest
- 17:45Speaker 1: of the documentary you see people like start to just
- 17:48Speaker 1: like cough a blood and their skin starts to disintegrate
- 17:51Speaker 1: and all these gruesome, horrific things where you're like, WHOA,
- 17:54Speaker 1: I never want to have that again. And with COVID,
- 17:57Speaker 1: we just don't have that kind of And I'm not
- 17:59Speaker 1: I'm I'm not advocating that reporters of going to hospitals
- 18:02Speaker 1: and start taking pictures of sick people. It's like, that's
- 18:04Speaker 1: not what I'm saying, but the fact that it is
- 18:07Speaker 1: so dangerous, it is so contagious, that people are not
- 18:10Speaker 1: allowed to be around their loved ones, that you're not
- 18:12Speaker 1: allowed to see these people, that all of this is
- 18:14Speaker 1: just happening behind closed doors. People don't have that straight
- 18:17Speaker 1: up image of if you do this, you turn into this. Yeah,
- 18:22Speaker 1: you're smart. That's that's well said Dan. And you know,
- 18:24Speaker 1: I got the goose bumps when I first saw them
- 18:27Speaker 1: backing up refrigerated semis to the hospitals. But even that
- 18:30Speaker 1: was hidden they put up big One would hope, one
- 18:32Speaker 1: would hope that, but you know, I saw I saw
- 18:35Speaker 1: it firsthand because of Nick. I saw, I saw FaceTime,
- 18:38Speaker 1: uh I FaceTime with Nick thanks to Amanda and U
- 18:43Speaker 1: and a nurse on that was in the hospital, and
- 18:45Speaker 1: I just could not believe what it had done to him.
- 18:49Speaker 1: I could not believe who he looked like a corpse. Frankly,
- 18:54Speaker 1: you wish people could have empathy just off of information.
- 18:58Speaker 1: You wish people could hear a fact and be able
- 19:00Speaker 1: to process it in their head and say, oh, well,
- 19:02Speaker 1: this is horrible and I need to do everything I
- 19:04Speaker 1: can to protect those around me and protect others. But
- 19:08Speaker 1: that is not the case. Well, it all goes back
- 19:10Speaker 1: to I'll tell you this again. It all goes back
- 19:12Speaker 1: to leadership and and and how leadership handles all of this,
- 19:16Speaker 1: whether you're a governor, a mayor, the president, a senator
- 19:21Speaker 1: in Congress, whatever it is. You know a lot of
- 19:23Speaker 1: the examples. You are the example. And Santis, Oh my god,
- 19:29Speaker 1: is that guy been a colossal disaster to Santis in Florida.
- 19:32Speaker 1: And some to bottle well, you know, some people downplayed
- 19:35Speaker 1: it and didn't and didn't want to believe the facts.
- 19:38Speaker 1: And and here we are, you know what I mean,
- 19:40Speaker 1: that's that's that's what it is. This is the last
- 19:43Speaker 1: political thing. I'll say on this on the rest of
- 19:45Speaker 1: this podcast for ever again East Alright, ready, colon, people
- 19:56Speaker 1: of Florida, if you reelect de Santis, I think you
- 19:59Speaker 1: are making an enormous mistake. He is a disaster slash debacle. Okay,
- 20:07Speaker 1: well you just you, just you just you just joined
- 20:10Speaker 1: the side. But dear Florida, that being said, Florida led
- 20:18Speaker 1: Zack's political views stop you from listening to our show. Sorry,
- 20:22Speaker 1: if you like you're currently wearing a DeSantis t shirt,
- 20:25Speaker 1: I'm sorry. Okay, he doesn't apologize. Not just you guys
- 20:29Speaker 1: have different political views. That doesn't mean we can't all
- 20:33Speaker 1: love scrub Now. We still want you to listen. And
- 20:35Speaker 1: but if you're a racist about show, we made a
- 20:44Speaker 1: bunch of nurses so around you here are yead around
- 20:56Speaker 1: here that m all right? Should we get into this
- 21:04Speaker 1: real quickly? Should we get into this? Because I wrote
- 21:06Speaker 1: it down this time, I don't know if I wrote
- 21:08Speaker 1: it down correctly, but I have a feeling that I
- 21:11Speaker 1: can do it. I don't know if I could do
- 21:14Speaker 1: it less than thirty secondly, loving people. I'm getting a
- 21:19Speaker 1: lot of good feedback on the Donald Get it Ready,
- 21:22Speaker 1: Get it ready? Wait let me get my timer going,
- 21:24Speaker 1: and uh and uh, I gotta get it ready, hold
- 21:27Speaker 1: on clock, okay, and then I go to stop. All right, ready, yes, now,
- 21:33Speaker 1: now take a deep breath because it was a big episode.
- 21:36Speaker 1: Here we go, get marks, get set go. Turk realizes
- 21:40Speaker 1: he's always coming in second to his arch nemesis Bonnie.
- 21:43Speaker 1: That's why he's surprised when he's chosen to go with
- 21:45Speaker 1: Dr Kelso to a conference in Mexico. Carla finally confides
- 21:48Speaker 1: in j D, and like the little snitchy is, he
- 21:51Speaker 1: runs and tells his best friend. Carlo's crushed. Elliot just
- 21:54Speaker 1: wants to be a part of a team and it's
- 21:56Speaker 1: willing to sink to low levels to fulfill her once.
- 21:59Speaker 1: In the end, every want's trying to prove their worthy
- 22:01Speaker 1: of respect and trust, and it takes the experience as
- 22:04Speaker 1: they go through in this episode for them to realize
- 22:07Speaker 1: they are holy ship. That was twenty nine? Did you practice? WHOA?
- 22:12Speaker 1: Did you practice? I'm not doing that ship. Maybe I
- 22:18Speaker 1: don't know too much to you can just scrub through
- 22:20Speaker 1: this ship. I just want to give you guys are
- 22:23Speaker 1: let's pretty fucking time for president. Let's go, I take
- 22:33Speaker 1: it back for president. Let's go all right, listen. I
- 22:38Speaker 1: don't want to distract nobody right now. At first, at
- 22:42Speaker 1: first I was upset that you had practiced, But then
- 22:44Speaker 1: I was like, wow, he put a lot of thought
- 22:46Speaker 1: and work into this. He fucking rehearsed for you, guys.
- 22:48Speaker 1: He rehearsed with love. So there you go. There's your
- 22:55Speaker 1: there's your thirties twenty nine second recap of the episode. Um,
- 22:59Speaker 1: what a great episode. It was very good episode, very full. Yeah,
- 23:04Speaker 1: you know, it's interesting about Paul Quinn. I I looked
- 23:06Speaker 1: at my up on IMDb. He hasn't directed much before
- 23:10Speaker 1: or much since. So I don't know what the story
- 23:12Speaker 1: of Paul Quinn is. How he came to us? When
- 23:15Speaker 1: I ask Bill, Yeah, let's ask Bill, Bill Zack and
- 23:19Speaker 1: Donald's here and uh and our beautiful listeners on the
- 23:22Speaker 1: podcast all want to know. Paul Quinn only directed one
- 23:25Speaker 1: episode of Scrubs. He doesn't have a lot of credits
- 23:28Speaker 1: before or after. So how did Paul Quinn come to us?
- 23:32Speaker 1: I think he did a nice job, But what's the
- 23:34Speaker 1: Paul Quinn's story? Bill? So this is how it works.
- 23:38Speaker 1: You all only call me when um wicky guy or
- 23:43Speaker 1: the Todd aren't available. You're you're cooler more umu hip friends. Fine,
- 23:50Speaker 1: I'll take it, but I don't like it. I don't
- 23:52Speaker 1: have to like it. Um. Paul Quinn's independent film writer
- 23:57Speaker 1: and director that I had gotten to know, and uhum
- 24:01Speaker 1: thought I would give him a shot, and um he
- 24:04Speaker 1: went on to kind of I think this is one
- 24:06Speaker 1: of his first directing breaks. And he went on to
- 24:08Speaker 1: direct some other stuff and do that. Uh So that's
- 24:10Speaker 1: Paul Quinn. Thank you, Bill, Thank you. William William VanDuzer
- 24:14Speaker 1: Lawrence the Third, that's his name. Did you know that?
- 24:17Speaker 1: I didn't know that William VanDuzer Lawrence the third. If
- 24:20Speaker 1: that doesn't sound like he sounds like the rich guy
- 24:22Speaker 1: in Trading Places Mortimer No, dan Akred's character. What's his name?
- 24:27Speaker 1: Oh freaking oh Ray Valentine, Lewis, Lewis Lewis, Lewis Winthorpe,
- 24:35Speaker 1: Louis Winthorpe, looking good, Billy Ray, really good, Lewis. I
- 24:40Speaker 1: hope that's us one day. That would be the best
- 24:43Speaker 1: day of my My dream is that And that's good
- 24:46Speaker 1: social distancing too. Bout yes, by the way, there's no way,
- 24:49Speaker 1: there's no way that they could hear each other from
- 24:51Speaker 1: the sailboat to the beach. That always bothered me. Look
- 24:55Speaker 1: a good, Billy Ray, feeling good Lewis. Already what I
- 24:59Speaker 1: heard was, can you promise me before we die that
- 25:05Speaker 1: we will recreate that moment together at the end of
- 25:08Speaker 1: trading places, you know what. I hope we get the
- 25:11Speaker 1: opportunity to relive that moment. I would like today, looking good,
- 25:16Speaker 1: Billy Ray, feeling good, Lewis. I want to yell at
- 25:18Speaker 1: toe you while you're honest. You say looking good phase On,
- 25:21Speaker 1: and I could say feeling good, breaths looking good at
- 25:25Speaker 1: day of Shoon feeling good israel Ah, but a day
- 25:33Speaker 1: she is not Your middle name is my middle name? Oh,
- 25:36Speaker 1: I always get confused if it's your real birth first name.
- 25:39Speaker 1: It is my is on my birth certificate, Donald Adeo
- 25:42Speaker 1: Shoon phase On. So went to West Africa, I mean
- 25:46Speaker 1: sorry to Nigeria and they, you know, fell in love
- 25:50Speaker 1: with the culture and the love in love with the people.
- 25:53Speaker 1: And I have a Nigerian name and I used to
- 25:56Speaker 1: use it all the time. I haven't gone by Adeo
- 26:00Speaker 1: Shoon in the entertainment world in a long time, and
- 26:03Speaker 1: I kind of use it as a filter so if
- 26:06Speaker 1: somebody calls me by my nickname, then I'm usually like, oh, ship,
- 26:10Speaker 1: I should know who this person is or this person,
- 26:13Speaker 1: especially someone from your childhood, right if they're like, what's up, shoot,
- 26:15Speaker 1: and You're like, oh, I must know him from school?
- 26:17Speaker 1: Well yeah, but also like my mom, my family, everybody
- 26:20Speaker 1: calls me shown still, so day o'shoon and me I
- 26:23Speaker 1: call you shoon? You do um. At thirty four seconds,
- 26:27Speaker 1: Carla um, bitch hits, she hits me, she bitch starts me,
- 26:30Speaker 1: and I turn around to camera and that classic like
- 26:33Speaker 1: raging bull face turn. It's so funny, that girlish gasp.
- 26:43Speaker 1: That shot is always funny, no matter how many times
- 26:45Speaker 1: we've seen it or we did it on scrubs, It's
- 26:47Speaker 1: always funny. Getting me punched into camera always funny. Yes,
- 26:51Speaker 1: and Carlie just slapping people around. Yeah, you know what,
- 26:54Speaker 1: This whole story kind of starts off where everybody's somebody's.
- 26:57Speaker 1: The word that we use in the show is biatch.
- 27:02Speaker 1: You know your Carlos biatch in the beginning. Um. I
- 27:06Speaker 1: would like to be a shout out to the women
- 27:08Speaker 1: in this episode because they all did a fantastic job.
- 27:13Speaker 1: Judy is so good in this. Sarah unbelievably good in this,
- 27:17Speaker 1: with not only her physical comedy that she does in
- 27:19Speaker 1: the beginning, but all this crying she does. Sarah used
- 27:23Speaker 1: to listen to sad songs. I will remember you. I
- 27:27Speaker 1: don't know if it was Sarah McLaughlan or what it was.
- 27:29Speaker 1: I'm telling you it was. Will you remember me? Do
- 27:33Speaker 1: you think of like dogs being in crates? Yeah, exactly,
- 27:36Speaker 1: And that's like one ear that's enough to make Sarah cry. Yeah.
- 27:41Speaker 1: I don't know if Sarah McLaughlan was always her go to.
- 27:44Speaker 1: Are you just guessing that, I'm guessing alright, it would
- 27:47Speaker 1: be I'm trying to think what Mike was. Probably Josh
- 27:49Speaker 1: Rayden Winter. Yeah. What what song would you put on
- 27:51Speaker 1: to cry? If I if I had to put on
- 27:53Speaker 1: a song? Oh man, you want to know what song?
- 27:55Speaker 1: It is? The score from Bambi. It's about your people
- 27:58Speaker 1: to the Prince of Egypt. Whitney Houston and Mariah Carry.
- 28:03Speaker 1: There can be mericles if you believe the hope is
- 28:09Speaker 1: frim it's hard to kill. Come on now, who knows
- 28:15Speaker 1: whatles you when you believe somehow you will Joe, Well,
- 28:26Speaker 1: you're about to cry right now. I think this is
- 28:29Speaker 1: full talent show. It's the most beautiful song maybe I've heard. Yeah, listen, man,
- 28:34Speaker 1: it's about first of all the songs about when Pharaoh's
- 28:38Speaker 1: chasing the Jewish people out of Egypt. It's about that
- 28:42Speaker 1: is it's about the story of Moses. It goes all
- 28:46Speaker 1: the way through, it goes all the way through. It's
- 28:50Speaker 1: him going all the way through to him coming down
- 28:52Speaker 1: from the mountain with the tin commandments. Uh in in
- 28:57Speaker 1: the ark. Oh no, he has him in his hands.
- 28:59Speaker 1: I think at the commandment remember from the what was it?
- 29:04Speaker 1: The is it? The history of Earth? These commandments? But
- 29:17Speaker 1: the song is amazing, man, And you know it's you know,
- 29:22Speaker 1: so that's what you would put on. That's that song.
- 29:25Speaker 1: It's if you ever need to cry, whether it be,
- 29:28Speaker 1: it's just such a hopeful song, you know what I mean.
- 29:31Speaker 1: We've spent this whole, this whole I know we're jumping
- 29:35Speaker 1: off topic and everything like that. We've spent this whole time.
- 29:38Speaker 1: You know. Amanda clutes Is you know, has delivered a
- 29:42Speaker 1: lot of hope to people in this world, you know
- 29:44Speaker 1: what I mean. Her faith and her belief really helped
- 29:48Speaker 1: a lot of people. When Nick was sick, and you know,
- 29:54Speaker 1: for some reason, when when you have all of that
- 29:56Speaker 1: faith and you have all of that love, it overwhelms you. Man.
- 30:00Speaker 1: And and so listening to a song like that, listening
- 30:03Speaker 1: to there can be very cos when you believe, it
- 30:08Speaker 1: just overflow. You just overflow with hope and joy and
- 30:12Speaker 1: faith and it just works, you know what I mean.
- 30:15Speaker 1: That's beautiful. And now I listen to it. I've never
- 30:17Speaker 1: seen the movie, I've never heard the song. I'm sorry,
- 30:18Speaker 1: did you get the opportunity to check it out? There's
- 30:20Speaker 1: a lot of really good voiceover performances it was, but
- 30:30Speaker 1: that song, first of all, it was Mariah Carey and
- 30:33Speaker 1: Whitney Houston singing it. And I don't know if you
- 30:35Speaker 1: were big Mariah carry or Whitney Houston fans. I'm first
- 30:38Speaker 1: of all, I think those are you know, of my
- 30:40Speaker 1: lifetime two of the uh, the true versions of what
- 30:44Speaker 1: a diva is as far as being able to sing.
- 30:47Speaker 1: Had a Mariah Carey interaction once, so did. I was
- 30:51Speaker 1: one of the best nights of my life. What was yours? Well,
- 30:53Speaker 1: mine wasn't like we've made out or anything. Your sound
- 30:55Speaker 1: now we didn't make a no no no, no, no
- 30:57Speaker 1: no no imagine. Yet it was totally awesome. No, we
- 30:59Speaker 1: didn't out. I met her and Derek Jeter in the
- 31:02Speaker 1: same night. Wow, I was peeing on a Mariah Carey
- 31:08Speaker 1: music video called up on the Roof. But you can
- 31:11Speaker 1: go watch on YouTube and uh, and you mean rooftop? No,
- 31:17Speaker 1: it's called Oh was it is the song up on
- 31:20Speaker 1: the Rooftop? I thought it was up on the Roof?
- 31:21Speaker 1: I think it might be Joel. Can you double check
- 31:23Speaker 1: with her? What's the one with her and Mob Deep? Well,
- 31:28Speaker 1: she doesn't have two songs, one called up on the
- 31:29Speaker 1: roof and one couple the roof top. It's either one.
- 31:32Speaker 1: I think it's roof called the roof, yeah, with Mob
- 31:35Speaker 1: Deep right, No, this is called up on the Mob
- 31:38Speaker 1: Deep Beat. I'm telling you it's the Mob Deep Beat.
- 31:44Speaker 1: Told you now, Joel, does she have one called up
- 31:46Speaker 1: on the Roof? I will read that too, because I
- 31:49Speaker 1: remember that I had to lug all this stuff up
- 31:51Speaker 1: to the roof. It's just the roof, all right, Well listen,
- 31:58Speaker 1: I I the elevator broke in this building in Brooklyn,
- 32:02Speaker 1: and all the p a s had to lug all
- 32:03Speaker 1: the gear up to the roof. And I was like
- 32:05Speaker 1: to help her up. Her next song is called Lobby
- 32:16Speaker 1: Anyway I got. You know you're being a good dad.
- 32:18Speaker 1: Could you have some really good dad jokes? That joke.
- 32:24Speaker 1: I am going to be a great dad, but not
- 32:25Speaker 1: because of my jokes, just because I'm hilarious. Listen, before
- 32:29Speaker 1: the elevator broke, I got in with Mariah and her
- 32:32Speaker 1: whole posse and I was just the p A and
- 32:34Speaker 1: I had a baseball hat and I looked away, like,
- 32:35Speaker 1: you know, I thought you were finding now. I was
- 32:37Speaker 1: fresh out of Yeah. I just thought you don't look
- 32:40Speaker 1: at the star. I just look away and she was like,
- 32:43Speaker 1: I like your baseball hat. It was my favorite baseball hat.
- 32:46Speaker 1: And I was like, oh, thank you, thank you, like
- 32:47Speaker 1: not making eye contact, like bobbing my head. And she
- 32:51Speaker 1: was like, I might want to wear that in the video.
- 32:53Speaker 1: And I was like oh okay. And she's like to
- 32:56Speaker 1: kind of borrow it, and I was like oh yeah.
- 32:59Speaker 1: So her like tourage took my baseball hat and it
- 33:01Speaker 1: had like a red circle on it, and they came
- 33:04Speaker 1: back to me and they were like, hey, we want
- 33:06Speaker 1: to darken the red circle with sharpie. Is that okay?
- 33:10Speaker 1: And I was like, oh, it's kind of my favorite hat.
- 33:12Speaker 1: But I don't want to let down Mariah, let down
- 33:14Speaker 1: the whole team. You know. I just lugged everything up
- 33:16Speaker 1: to the roof. I want the video to be good,
- 33:18Speaker 1: you know, this is what I was thinking. And they're like,
- 33:20Speaker 1: we'll give you forty dollars if you'll let us darken
- 33:23Speaker 1: the red circle with sharpie. And I was like, I
- 33:27Speaker 1: didn't have any money. I was probably making a hundred
- 33:29Speaker 1: bucks to be the p A. I was like, gonna,
- 33:31Speaker 1: you know, increase my salary substantially. So I was like, yeah,
- 33:34Speaker 1: for forty bucks, y'all can just go to nuts on
- 33:36Speaker 1: it with a sharpie and I'll just have a great story.
- 33:39Speaker 1: So that's what happened. And I don't even I watched
- 33:41Speaker 1: the video in twenty years, but she's on the roof.
- 33:45Speaker 1: I know she's on the roof at any and if
- 33:48Speaker 1: at any point, I gotta see if at any point, anyone, anyone,
- 33:51Speaker 1: anyone who's curious, just go and watch the video and
- 33:54Speaker 1: see if she's ever wearing a black baseball cap, because
- 33:56Speaker 1: that's mine. I got forty bucks, extra extra extra. That
- 34:03Speaker 1: was a hard shoot. Wait, is who's the there's a
- 34:06Speaker 1: guy in the video. There was a sexy. No, I
- 34:09Speaker 1: don't know. I don't know if she's making out with
- 34:11Speaker 1: the band Mob Deep, but there was a there was
- 34:14Speaker 1: a sexy I don't know if he was a model
- 34:15Speaker 1: or an act or whatever, but there was a sexy Joel.
- 34:17Speaker 1: Can you maybe find out who that was? There was
- 34:19Speaker 1: some sort of like you know in the music video
- 34:21Speaker 1: they have a love interest that they're like macin on.
- 34:23Speaker 1: I remember that. I don't know if that was Mob Deep.
- 34:26Speaker 1: Is Mob Deep a rapper or a group? It's two,
- 34:29Speaker 1: it's two people. Well, she wasn't having like a Mob
- 34:31Speaker 1: Deep threesome. It was like one guy. I think he
- 34:33Speaker 1: had abs. But then again, I worked on De Angelo
- 34:37Speaker 1: video too. Maybe I'm conflating the two. Yeah, I worked
- 34:41Speaker 1: on a lot of videos. I don't know the name
- 34:42Speaker 1: of that song. I remember he was dated a girl
- 34:45Speaker 1: who was like in videos, like a video vixen. No,
- 34:50Speaker 1: I've never dated a video vixen. Have you updated a
- 34:53Speaker 1: few video vixens? Any video vixens? We would know what's
- 34:57Speaker 1: the one Amber Rose? No, I'm never dating. I've never dated,
- 35:01Speaker 1: and she's a video vixen. Yeah, I'd like Camper Rose.
- 35:06Speaker 1: I put I put Jamie king Um in my video.
- 35:09Speaker 1: I directed a video for Gavin DeGraw, which is a
- 35:11Speaker 1: really good video by the way, Chariot. Yeah, y'all should
- 35:16Speaker 1: stop watching the Roof right now and go watch Chariot
- 35:19Speaker 1: by Gavin DeGraw, because I directed that video. And well,
- 35:22Speaker 1: you know, in that video, I threw up money and sorry, yeah,
- 35:26Speaker 1: you're in the video distracted by Jamie King. You're in
- 35:28Speaker 1: the video before. Making it rain was a big deal.
- 35:31Speaker 1: I threw money. Are you saying you invented making it rain? Listen?
- 35:34Speaker 1: Not only did I invent keeping it real, I also
- 35:36Speaker 1: invented making it rain. Just keeping it one hunted the
- 35:40Speaker 1: RESTful job of my life. I was spending so much
- 35:44Speaker 1: money and it was all designed to be an elaborate winner.
- 35:48Speaker 1: And at like six pm, I don't know if you remember,
- 35:51Speaker 1: we hadn't shot anything. No, I remember we rehearsed a lot.
- 35:55Speaker 1: It was a disaster, but then it came out great.
- 35:57Speaker 1: I was wonderful. I pivoted and came up with a
- 36:01Speaker 1: new plan, and but I remember that was like, that's
- 36:03Speaker 1: literally the probably the most stressful day of my of
- 36:06Speaker 1: my directing career. The person who made the stage in
- 36:09Speaker 1: the video also was the head of for Scrubs. Well, yes,
- 36:16Speaker 1: and no cabin designed it. Yeah. Cabot McMullan, who was
- 36:18Speaker 1: our production designers Scrubs, came up with an awesome idea
- 36:22Speaker 1: of these spinning turntables. And if I were to go back,
- 36:25Speaker 1: I know how to do it. So first of all,
- 36:27Speaker 1: if you have a hundred people and you're trying to
- 36:28Speaker 1: not cut the camera, you need a full day of rehearsal.
- 36:30Speaker 1: But that's so expensive to pay everyone for a full
- 36:33Speaker 1: day of rehearsal. So we tried to do it without
- 36:35Speaker 1: a full day of rehearsal, and by six pm we
- 36:37Speaker 1: hadn't shot a foot of film and I was on
- 36:40Speaker 1: the verge of a panic attack. But if you watch
- 36:43Speaker 1: the video, it came out really good and dom Phazan
- 36:45Speaker 1: is in it looking fly. You're like, you're actually you're
- 36:48Speaker 1: playing a music video director in the video. Yeah, I am,
- 36:52Speaker 1: and you're making it rain and there's bouncing booties. The
- 36:57Speaker 1: idea was that he's in a video and the directors
- 36:59Speaker 1: trying to make and be something that he's not. And
- 37:01Speaker 1: I remember MTV had a rule in the day where
- 37:03Speaker 1: you couldn't show a bouncing booty and then not connected
- 37:06Speaker 1: to a head. You couldn't just show a bouncing booty.
- 37:11Speaker 1: You had to like the rule still? Is that rule still?
- 37:14Speaker 1: I have no idea what they used to used to
- 37:15Speaker 1: not be able to show a gun either. They had
- 37:17Speaker 1: a lot of rules. I understand not showing the booty
- 37:19Speaker 1: without the head because somebody want to be like, is
- 37:21Speaker 1: that my booty? I don't know the prior thart. It
- 37:24Speaker 1: was rude to just show a bouncing booty and then
- 37:27Speaker 1: not show whose booty it was. But I just remember
- 37:30Speaker 1: someone comeing to me like, hey, if you're gonna shoot
- 37:32Speaker 1: that booty, the camera now has to come up and
- 37:35Speaker 1: show the woman's head, which was my face, just her head. Yeah,
- 37:39Speaker 1: I think her head. I don't, I think because they
- 37:41Speaker 1: just wanted to make sure that the booty was connected
- 37:43Speaker 1: to an actual person. I don't know what the rule.
- 37:46Speaker 1: I guess the rule was. What do you guys think?
- 37:48Speaker 1: Do you think it was intended to be out of
- 37:50Speaker 1: respect for the dancer? I guess right. I don't know,
- 37:52Speaker 1: but I was fine with the rule. But I remember
- 37:55Speaker 1: we were mocking. We were spoofing, like like these these
- 37:58Speaker 1: these rap video os that had you know, dancers shaking
- 38:02Speaker 1: their booties pretty much too. Baby got back, similar to
- 38:06Speaker 1: and I remember being told, like, hey, you gotta make
- 38:08Speaker 1: sure the cameraman tilts up to connect all heads to booties.
- 38:11Speaker 1: There he goes a little tribute. A few listeners out there,
- 38:13Speaker 1: all right, on that note, on the note of dancing
- 38:16Speaker 1: bouncing booties. We'll be right back, so Troy and the janitor.
- 38:26Speaker 1: But you're going too fast. Snoop Dogg Resident is in
- 38:29Speaker 1: the back of almost every shot in this episode. And
- 38:31Speaker 1: I have a theory that he's a spy. I don't know,
- 38:36Speaker 1: but I want you another hospital um the Russians, I
- 38:39Speaker 1: don't know. I want you to watch this episode and
- 38:41Speaker 1: in the back of your head make up a subplot
- 38:44Speaker 1: that Snoop Dogg Resident is spying on all the main
- 38:46Speaker 1: characters because he's in the background of like ten shots
- 38:51Speaker 1: first ones at one forty. You you said something earlier
- 38:55Speaker 1: in this podcast that I didn't necessarily echo, and I
- 38:58Speaker 1: want to echo it now. You're absolutely about Sarah. Yeah,
- 39:02Speaker 1: she's very funny in this in this episode, and I
- 39:06Speaker 1: and and funny, and I and funny throughout the rest
- 39:08Speaker 1: of the series. Also, I imagine the writers had a
- 39:12Speaker 1: really good time writing for that character because of all
- 39:14Speaker 1: of the things that she you know, she's clumsy, she's
- 39:17Speaker 1: you know, she puts her foot in her mouth, she does,
- 39:20Speaker 1: and there's physical comedy that she does when she's trying
- 39:22Speaker 1: to get Johnny's attention. Around two seven and she's just
- 39:25Speaker 1: flopping around and it was really well shot she was
- 39:29Speaker 1: and she did such a great job too, and she's
- 39:31Speaker 1: very funny. She just flopping her whole body all around. Um.
- 39:35Speaker 1: At one forty one, you accidentally see a pillow light
- 39:38Speaker 1: that's on the ceiling um for those of you who
- 39:41Speaker 1: like looking at fun ups. Did you get that from
- 39:43Speaker 1: scrubs Wicky? No, that was myself. I noticed. How did
- 39:46Speaker 1: they fucking not crop that out? But I saw it.
- 39:48Speaker 1: I do have some scrubs Wicky. A pillow light, by
- 39:50Speaker 1: the way, is uh this light they used to put
- 39:53Speaker 1: on the ceiling that would basically was just a piece
- 39:55Speaker 1: of cloth that would soften the fluorescent lights in the ceiling.
- 39:59Speaker 1: And they were all over the place and we had
- 40:01Speaker 1: to frame them out. But you can see one if
- 40:02Speaker 1: you want to see what it looks like. Scrubs Wicky
- 40:05Speaker 1: has a weird I have a bone depict with Trevor
- 40:07Speaker 1: Or or one of his thousand minions because they said
- 40:11Speaker 1: something that that I looked at. It is not true.
- 40:13Speaker 1: It says um that there's a continuity mistake. It says
- 40:18Speaker 1: when Dr Kelso speaks gibberish to Carlo, you can see
- 40:21Speaker 1: the actor playing a patient is standing still and starts
- 40:23Speaker 1: moving only when Kelso starts speaking. Didn't see that Zach
- 40:27Speaker 1: Braff is looking over at the director waiting for command
- 40:30Speaker 1: to start drinking his coffee. No, not not true. So,
- 40:34Speaker 1: I mean, I don't know if it was Trevor or
- 40:35Speaker 1: one of his minions. But hey, I I scrubs Wick.
- 40:38Speaker 1: He's not always accurate. Guys. I was gonna say what
- 40:41Speaker 1: I said before and everybody got upset about it. But
- 40:45Speaker 1: he don't want to do this, you know he does,
- 40:47Speaker 1: he does. I thought he. I thought he gave a
- 40:49Speaker 1: very enthu jo. Well, you communicate with him. Is he is? He?
- 40:52Speaker 1: Is he enjoying this? Does he know about the gift? Guy?
- 40:54Speaker 1: He's going to get of the funk of Pop? Signed?
- 40:56Speaker 1: He loves you, guys. He turns us little messages like
- 40:59Speaker 1: he loves the show and for it and no, he's
- 41:03Speaker 1: very into it. Okay, but you read about the funk
- 41:06Speaker 1: Pops and it's not going to sell them on eBay,
- 41:08Speaker 1: he promised. Okay, he promised he wouldn't sell him any
- 41:10Speaker 1: promised he wouldn't sell him on the eBay. He would
- 41:12Speaker 1: cherish them forever. All right, we'll get us those sounds
- 41:15Speaker 1: like that sounds like a lot of me, get us
- 41:19Speaker 1: those Funco pops because I'm gonna cherish Funco pops forever,
- 41:22Speaker 1: my ass. I know exactly what he's gonna do with
- 41:24Speaker 1: those Funco pops. No, Trevor Wicky, I want to tell
- 41:27Speaker 1: you something. Um, I have yet to sign a Scrubs
- 41:29Speaker 1: Funko pops. So you will. You will have the only
- 41:32Speaker 1: signed one in existence. So I've signed a couple of them. Yes, So,
- 41:36Speaker 1: like you know, you do signings at comic like. I'm
- 41:39Speaker 1: a huge Star Wars fan. We all know this. I
- 41:41Speaker 1: got the I was lucky enough to be able to
- 41:43Speaker 1: go to celebration and sign for my character in the
- 41:47Speaker 1: Star Wars Universe, Hype Faison from Star Wars Resistance. If
- 41:50Speaker 1: you haven't watched the show, it's now streaming on Disney Plus.
- 41:53Speaker 1: Just putting it out there. Um, anyway, you know, people
- 41:57Speaker 1: came up to me when I was signing for that
- 41:59Speaker 1: and this Love the movie I did called Clueless back
- 42:01Speaker 1: in the day. I was also at C two each today,
- 42:05Speaker 1: but we had a big Clueless reunion at C two
- 42:08Speaker 1: E two and there as well, people came up to
- 42:12Speaker 1: my signing booth with the Turk Funco all right, I
- 42:17Speaker 1: have so Donald has signed for you. I want Trevor
- 42:20Speaker 1: Wicky to know that I have never signed j D
- 42:24Speaker 1: Funk Pop. So until the world reopens and someone random
- 42:28Speaker 1: comes up to me, he will have the only signed
- 42:30Speaker 1: j D Funcle Pop in existence. That's if he changes
- 42:34Speaker 1: his attitude. No, don't sucking it up right now, he's
- 42:38Speaker 1: doing a good job. Change your attitude. I saw someone
- 42:43Speaker 1: on my Instagram or somewhere I wrote, like, Zack Donald,
- 42:47Speaker 1: the dude is not into this. I love the ship
- 42:54Speaker 1: that people right, Um, how invested you guys are in
- 42:57Speaker 1: the show. It really makes me laugh when people When
- 43:00Speaker 1: I posted that Ken was coming on the show like nine,
- 43:03Speaker 1: I had like hundreds of comments that were like he's
- 43:05Speaker 1: done moving and just it just made me smile to
- 43:10Speaker 1: know that you guys. My favorite thing about the Ken
- 43:13Speaker 1: episode is that he Kelso's Me at the End of
- 43:15Speaker 1: Day was the best ending. That was the best ending,
- 43:21Speaker 1: that was the best ending to any podcast we've done,
- 43:23Speaker 1: because like everybody thought he was gonna be like sweet
- 43:27Speaker 1: and then he just fucking kelsos the crap out of me. Dude,
- 43:31Speaker 1: I loved it, um lost dark. Yes, my face melts. Yes,
- 43:38Speaker 1: that was amazing. You know I love that part. Yeah,
- 43:42Speaker 1: I know you did. As soon as that should happened,
- 43:45Speaker 1: I was like, yet, you know what, this is the
- 43:47Speaker 1: best part of the show that I was done. Well,
- 43:49Speaker 1: now did you see Indiana Jones in the Temple of
- 43:51Speaker 1: the Doom in the theater? I sure did, all right? Well,
- 43:54Speaker 1: my mom turned to me and she saw me in
- 43:56Speaker 1: the fetal position in my chair, and she said, you
- 44:00Speaker 1: want to go play arcade games in the lobby and
- 44:03Speaker 1: I just was like, mm hmmmm, I would like to
- 44:07Speaker 1: do that, and we fucking sprinted out of that theater,
- 44:12Speaker 1: left my stepfather to finish the movie. I'm we played
- 44:15Speaker 1: some games. Temple of Doom. It's so absurd, Like, look,
- 44:24Speaker 1: he does some pretty outrageous ship throughout all of these
- 44:27Speaker 1: movies where you're like, get the funk out of here,
- 44:29Speaker 1: But Temple of Doom, Indiana Jones jumps out of a
- 44:33Speaker 1: plane in a boat in a blow up boat and
- 44:37Speaker 1: survives several stories of falling onto a mountain, which then
- 44:43Speaker 1: he goes down on the boat like it's a bob
- 44:46Speaker 1: sled to only go off the cliff, up set mountain
- 44:50Speaker 1: and to a river that is several stories below the
- 44:54Speaker 1: cliff and then make it through raging waters, only too
- 45:02Speaker 1: be cohorst into finding shipa linga the stone. Dude, you're
- 45:10Speaker 1: not You're not trying to recap the movie. We're not
- 45:11Speaker 1: timing you to recap the entire film. That's ridiculously, It's
- 45:16Speaker 1: just crazy. First of all, that movie is just so
- 45:18Speaker 1: much ridiculous after ridiculous, and I loved it. If you
- 45:21Speaker 1: like the most, the recent one with the last one
- 45:26Speaker 1: there there's four or five four four? This is what
- 45:29Speaker 1: you like? Four. This is when I knew I was
- 45:31Speaker 1: in trouble. When they blew up the nuclear bomb and
- 45:35Speaker 1: he came falling out of the the the the refrigerator
- 45:41Speaker 1: without being melted. I was like, Okay, now we we've crossed.
- 45:46Speaker 1: We've crossed the line here. Indiana Jones is now the
- 45:48Speaker 1: fakes of the facus of the fake. But so you
- 45:51Speaker 1: prefer one and two? Are you also like three? I
- 45:54Speaker 1: love three. I think three is one of the better ones.
- 45:56Speaker 1: There you go, i'd loved I loved uh Sean Connery
- 46:02Speaker 1: as Henry Jones. Yeah. Um, let's talk about a two
- 46:08Speaker 1: oh five. When there's Sarah's talking and you hear the noise,
- 46:13Speaker 1: I think that's Bill, right, So Sarah, the joke is
- 46:18Speaker 1: that the Johnny sees like, whenever you talk, all I
- 46:20Speaker 1: hear is this loud, screeching noise. And then I'm pretty
- 46:24Speaker 1: sure that it's Bill doing that noise for Sarah. Let's
- 46:29Speaker 1: ask Bill, Bill, is it you? When Sarah's talking to
- 46:32Speaker 1: me and in j D's head, he here's a loud,
- 46:35Speaker 1: he screeching noise. Is that you, my friend? It sounds
- 46:38Speaker 1: like you. I know you know your voice at the
- 46:40Speaker 1: two one mark. I don't think I ever looped anything
- 46:42Speaker 1: for Sarah. I looped a lot of stuff for Zack
- 46:44Speaker 1: whenever j D fell and we didn't have a good
- 46:48Speaker 1: everybody took turns doing that. But I don't think I
- 46:52Speaker 1: ever did Sarah. I might have done when she blows
- 46:55Speaker 1: hair out of her eyes, but that's about it. I'm
- 46:57Speaker 1: gonna start sending questions your way, so don't feel like
- 47:01Speaker 1: someone that is third on your podcast, booty called dial
- 47:06Speaker 1: List whatever that means all right, um, what about when
- 47:10Speaker 1: the janitor is trying to be friends with me and
- 47:11Speaker 1: I'm really nervous, so I'm like, what is up with you? Man?
- 47:16Speaker 1: Very funny. That made me laugh the whole Janitor j
- 47:20Speaker 1: D Troy Troy, Well, this is Troy's introduction, and I
- 47:25Speaker 1: also laughed when he when he's like, he's like, you
- 47:26Speaker 1: think I only know like janitor words, and I'm like,
- 47:29Speaker 1: and he's like, maybe you muppn't He turns mop into
- 47:35Speaker 1: very much, momp you very much? At four or forty five.
- 47:38Speaker 1: I say nothing is worse than a ninja. Their masters
- 47:40Speaker 1: of every style of combat, and they are do you
- 47:43Speaker 1: believe that I've never met a ninja before? But I
- 47:46Speaker 1: wouldn't know if I ever met a ninja? But do
- 47:48Speaker 1: you think a ninja is the best? Is like their
- 47:50Speaker 1: most fearful. Would you be most feared if you had
- 47:53Speaker 1: to fight anyone of a ninja? I would be most
- 47:56Speaker 1: feared if I had to fight anyone that was involved
- 47:58Speaker 1: in any type of special forces. You know what I mean,
- 48:02Speaker 1: whether it be Navy seal, green beret, samurai, ninja, you
- 48:09Speaker 1: know who I would want to fight, Like a white belt,
- 48:11Speaker 1: Let me just fight like a normal white belt. You
- 48:13Speaker 1: know what I'm saying, Let's get into that type of
- 48:15Speaker 1: fight because then I'm not gonna be as nervous or
- 48:17Speaker 1: this person isn't as experience. But once you get past
- 48:20Speaker 1: black belt and you're now a special Forces type of thing,
- 48:25Speaker 1: I don't want to fight you. But what about like
- 48:26Speaker 1: what about like a street fighter, like what tech guy's
- 48:28Speaker 1: named Kembo Slice. That dude was special Forces dude. Yeah,
- 48:33Speaker 1: he don't pass away. But that dude with Special Forces, man,
- 48:36Speaker 1: that's not like fighting a regular person with SPECIs No,
- 48:38Speaker 1: but that's not like fighting a regular person. Man. The
- 48:40Speaker 1: dude played football. The dude the head was his background.
- 48:46Speaker 1: His background made him prepared to not only just become
- 48:50Speaker 1: a great street bowler, but making into the actual UFC
- 48:54Speaker 1: and be popular. He was decent. He was learning. That's
- 48:58Speaker 1: the thing, man. He was learned. And that's and that's
- 49:01Speaker 1: most important when it comes to fighting, because mixed martial
- 49:04Speaker 1: arts isn't a discipline. It's a bunch of different disciplines
- 49:08Speaker 1: all melded together. So if you can freaking if you
- 49:10Speaker 1: can become a rogue or not in video in like
- 49:15Speaker 1: video games, you choose the rogue because the rogue. Does
- 49:18Speaker 1: you know everything pretty you know pretty decently. But in
- 49:21Speaker 1: real life, if you could become like a somebody who
- 49:23Speaker 1: could do something like that, someone who could do you
- 49:26Speaker 1: know I could do. I can't. I can't wrestle the greatest,
- 49:28Speaker 1: but I'm I'm good enough that I can't. You know,
- 49:30Speaker 1: punch the greatest, but I'm good enough. I can't kick
- 49:33Speaker 1: the greatest, but I'm good enough. If you could become that,
- 49:35Speaker 1: you're just as good as a master. Who do you
- 49:37Speaker 1: think you'd last longer against a ninja or Kimbo Slice.
- 49:43Speaker 1: I don't think i'd even get a chance to say
- 49:45Speaker 1: a word with a ninja. Ninja would be like and
- 49:50Speaker 1: then with Kimbo Slice. The minute I said, yeah, I'll
- 49:52Speaker 1: fight him. But I saw this Kimbo Slice video where
- 49:58Speaker 1: he did. I don't know. I didn't watch a lot, Hi,
- 50:00Speaker 1: I don't know if he always rolled up in an
- 50:01Speaker 1: STUV and just got out and then beat the and
- 50:03Speaker 1: the and the fighters, yeah, and the fighters in the
- 50:05Speaker 1: in the in the videos. Yet he had never seen
- 50:06Speaker 1: anything like that. He rolls up in the car, everyone's waiting,
- 50:09Speaker 1: he just gets out, walks under the dude just goes
- 50:11Speaker 1: bamn and the guy was Donnie left, he got back
- 50:13Speaker 1: in the car. You know, I was dancing my ass
- 50:16Speaker 1: off in this episode, man, And apparently it's all the
- 50:19Speaker 1: same dance because Judy can't tell the difference between all
- 50:22Speaker 1: your different dances. Well, I was doing different days. I
- 50:25Speaker 1: was purouetting in this ship I've never done. I didn't
- 50:28Speaker 1: realize I had that skill. You really don't like Bonnie. Well,
- 50:33Speaker 1: it's not that I don't like your jealous of Bonnie. Yeah,
- 50:35Speaker 1: Bonnie is a good Turks jealous that Bonnie is so
- 50:39Speaker 1: good at her job. And it was this whole plot
- 50:41Speaker 1: point to get Lela Lee's character Bonnie off the show
- 50:44Speaker 1: because she got her own show, right. No, she hadn't
- 50:46Speaker 1: told anybody at this point that she had gotten her
- 50:48Speaker 1: own show. She had told me while we were shooting
- 50:50Speaker 1: this episode, though, that she was gonna go do the
- 50:54Speaker 1: pilot for Tremors, and she didn't know if she was
- 50:56Speaker 1: going to be able to or maybe it had already
- 50:59Speaker 1: been picked up. Also, People Got Mad, Holy Ship, People
- 51:03Speaker 1: Got Mass is a good movie. Guys, Tremmers is a
- 51:08Speaker 1: good movie. But compared to Jaws, come on, all Tremmers
- 51:11Speaker 1: is it's a remake of Jaws. On land. Don't give
- 51:13Speaker 1: me this bullshit. Don't give me this bullshit. Guys, I
- 51:16Speaker 1: love you all to death. I love you to death,
- 51:18Speaker 1: but come on now. But you come on anything on
- 51:21Speaker 1: the interwebs without someone getting upset down. You could be
- 51:23Speaker 1: like you should be like I love pasta and someone
- 51:28Speaker 1: will be like, pasta killed my father. You know you
- 51:30Speaker 1: can't like, you can't win. You said you didn't like
- 51:33Speaker 1: tremors as much as Jaws. People were like flipping tables. Yeah,
- 51:37Speaker 1: people got mad, dude, people got mad. Now. But when
- 51:42Speaker 1: you're dancing, and Judy and I are talking and she's like,
- 51:46Speaker 1: which dances that? And I'm like, that's his. There's a
- 51:48Speaker 1: sale on lotion dance, he said, or it could or
- 51:52Speaker 1: it might be his. There's a sale on lotion dance.
- 51:54Speaker 1: There's so many dances. And then I laughed when Troy
- 51:59Speaker 1: is ladling out the Sloppy Joe's and I'm like, it's
- 52:01Speaker 1: not like you're ladling out sloppy Joe's. And they cut
- 52:03Speaker 1: the Troy and I go, my uncle was a Joe.
- 52:06Speaker 1: Or you had a lot of Woody Allen moments, and
- 52:09Speaker 1: there's there's a lot of my my my uncle was
- 52:13Speaker 1: a Joe or like why like Joe? Or is a
- 52:15Speaker 1: position in the cafeteria you learn you learned sign language?
- 52:23Speaker 1: I did for that episode. It's gone. Now I'm gonna
- 52:26Speaker 1: be asked with you. I didn't remember any of this episode.
- 52:28Speaker 1: I've just remembered a little moments. I remember the Raiders
- 52:30Speaker 1: of the Lost Dark Thing. When that was about to happen,
- 52:32Speaker 1: I was like, oh, Shi, it is the Raiders of
- 52:33Speaker 1: the Lost Dark Thing. And I remember Troy and the
- 52:36Speaker 1: janitor in the eggs salad. Yeah, it's that's freaking gross.
- 52:41Speaker 1: And I remember we were all there because we wanted
- 52:43Speaker 1: to see how fucking gross it was. Now it says
- 52:45Speaker 1: on Scrubs Wicky that there was there was bets for
- 52:48Speaker 1: people to eat that egg salad after they both bathed
- 52:51Speaker 1: in it. I don't. I don't remember that, do you.
- 52:52Speaker 1: I would not have I don't. I don't remember that either.
- 52:54Speaker 1: That is disgusting. No, no, I know, just all up
- 52:57Speaker 1: in Troy's as crack, Oh my god. And I remember
- 53:00Speaker 1: him doing like a little slathering the he got more
- 53:04Speaker 1: into it. Yeah, I think Neil, I think important. I
- 53:06Speaker 1: felt bad for Neil, and it was like, I don't
- 53:08Speaker 1: want to be in this ship. Neil was like, you know,
- 53:10Speaker 1: we all had to do fantasies we didn't want to
- 53:12Speaker 1: do sometimes and Neil had to suck it up and
- 53:14Speaker 1: be in the eggs out. But Troy was like into it. Yeah,
- 53:17Speaker 1: he was like, Yo, if this ship works out, Troy
- 53:19Speaker 1: is gonna be a character on this episode. And because
- 53:23Speaker 1: of that, Joe Rose went on Troy, who played Troy
- 53:27Speaker 1: went on to be on the show for several years. Yeah, well,
- 53:33Speaker 1: he was funny fair. It all started with an egg
- 53:35Speaker 1: salad bath when Kelso says, I can't be pulling over
- 53:39Speaker 1: for those nylons that come in plastic eggs. My mom
- 53:43Speaker 1: used to have those when pant panty hills would come
- 53:47Speaker 1: in an egg and we'd steal him and play with him.
- 53:50Speaker 1: We'd like, I do remember that when it was have
- 53:56Speaker 1: fake Easter egg hunts with them. I don't know when
- 53:58Speaker 1: it is that women stopped wearing those, but like back
- 54:01Speaker 1: in the day, my mom always rocked those panty hose
- 54:04Speaker 1: with I wonder whose idea was that would put the
- 54:09Speaker 1: panty hose in the egg, right, it worked, It was
- 54:12Speaker 1: a great It was a great marketing tool for me.
- 54:15Speaker 1: I was like getting to get another egg. Mom got
- 54:17Speaker 1: more Mabox cars to put there. No one, no one by.
- 54:21Speaker 1: I didn't even really sell them anymore. Well do you
- 54:22Speaker 1: know if they even sell them in an egg anymore.
- 54:24Speaker 1: I'm sure they still sell them at like a Macy's
- 54:26Speaker 1: or something, But mid odds pantyhoes go out of style
- 54:29Speaker 1: and spanks came in and women just touch that whole
- 54:32Speaker 1: game up. So so women don't really wear I mean,
- 54:35Speaker 1: I'm sure seniors do, but do women not wear the
- 54:38Speaker 1: sheer skin colored nylons anymore? Yeah, if you have issues
- 54:44Speaker 1: with your legs, are performing or it's like a very
- 54:47Speaker 1: fancy event, you might. But I think it's specifically millennial
- 54:51Speaker 1: and younger generations are like, if they're wearing pantyhose, it's
- 54:54Speaker 1: like a fashion statement, you know. It was the idea,
- 54:56Speaker 1: was the idea that it was almost like a filter,
- 54:58Speaker 1: like it's just just without being obvious, smoothed out your leg. Okay,
- 55:04Speaker 1: I never thought about it until now. Something about a tushy.
- 55:06Speaker 1: I wrote down, Oh, the Laura's tushy. I just want
- 55:10Speaker 1: to wash it. Is that weird? Weird? It's not weird?
- 55:14Speaker 1: Hold on, hold on, hold on. You if you were
- 55:18Speaker 1: to see a nice tushy. You wouldn't think, oh, that
- 55:22Speaker 1: would be nice to give it a little scrubb a
- 55:24Speaker 1: dub to wash. Yeah, wash it. I mean, I don't
- 55:28Speaker 1: mean the crack, I mean the cheeks. Just give it
- 55:30Speaker 1: a little little polish. I mean, am I revealing my
- 55:39Speaker 1: own weird fetishes? I think that's great. I think I
- 55:43Speaker 1: probably improvised that too. It's probably on my mind. I
- 55:46Speaker 1: think that's wonderful. When I saw a Weird Science and
- 55:50Speaker 1: they were showering with Kelly LeBrock, I thought that was
- 55:53Speaker 1: very erotic. I thought, um, I thought that was one
- 55:56Speaker 1: of the funniest scenes in the movie. Remember when they
- 55:59Speaker 1: show I went there and she's showering and they're just
- 56:01Speaker 1: sitting in the corner with their jeans on and everything
- 56:04Speaker 1: like that. But I remember being young and thinking like
- 56:07Speaker 1: that was super erotic. Okay, we have a caller, our
- 56:11Speaker 1: dear listeners, and you know the callers are always fun.
- 56:14Speaker 1: We had Banks last time who was high as a kite.
- 56:16Speaker 1: Bank was on fire. He was smoking something good. And
- 56:20Speaker 1: we will be right back after these words. Ladies and gentlemen,
- 56:31Speaker 1: give it up for Jacqueline god S Jacqueline Special. Hi, guys,
- 56:39Speaker 1: how are you welcome, welcome, welcome. Oh my goodness, I'm
- 56:44Speaker 1: so excited to see you, guys. This is such a wonderful,
- 56:47Speaker 1: wonderful thing. I've actually finished rewatching the entire series again
- 56:52Speaker 1: for probably like the sixth or seventh time. Look at
- 56:55Speaker 1: that adorable child. They just came in the room. This
- 56:58Speaker 1: is ms Ruby. Him is a moube. Ruby. My my
- 57:02Speaker 1: husband and I work opposite schedules, so we might, you know,
- 57:04Speaker 1: have a couple of Oh, that's fine, we both we
- 57:07Speaker 1: both love I don't have a good closet situation, like
- 57:09Speaker 1: we both love kids and uh and so don't worry.
- 57:13Speaker 1: Here she keeps peeking out behind you. She what does
- 57:17Speaker 1: her shirt say? What is your shirt? Your shirt? No? No,
- 57:24Speaker 1: don't make me mama. So, I don't know if you
- 57:27Speaker 1: guys were able to see the video, but I had
- 57:30Speaker 1: sent it to Joel of um Ruby singing the scrub
- 57:34Speaker 1: song because he can we hear it? Well, Ruby, do
- 57:38Speaker 1: it for us? Ruby, you want to sing it? Maybe
- 57:42Speaker 1: we can sing it with you Ruby, if you guys
- 57:44Speaker 1: want to kick it off and sing it with her. Ruby,
- 57:49Speaker 1: don't be shy which songs the song? This show? So
- 57:55Speaker 1: I had been watching it so much, Well, just by,
- 57:58Speaker 1: you know, cooking and doing stuff thing. She got ahold
- 58:01Speaker 1: of the theme song and there's a video of her
- 58:03Speaker 1: singing it. You know, I can't. Nice, Well, maybe Dan
- 58:09Speaker 1: could cut it in. Dan, could you do that? You think, Yeah,
- 58:11Speaker 1: there we go, We'll cut it in right here. I
- 58:14Speaker 1: can't and I know it. Wow, you got a little
- 58:23Speaker 1: bit of a New York accent there? Where are you
- 58:25Speaker 1: calling that? I so we just moved to Philly, But um,
- 58:31Speaker 1: I'm from Long Island. We just moved here. So I
- 58:34Speaker 1: grew up in Long Island. I'm a Long Island girl. Yeah,
- 58:36Speaker 1: we like your accent reminds us both at home. Thank you?
- 58:40Speaker 1: All right? Do you have a question for for Donald, myself, Daniel, Joel, anybody?
- 58:45Speaker 1: I do. I was wondering because when you guys talk,
- 58:49Speaker 1: your banter is so very much Turke and j D.
- 58:53Speaker 1: So I was wondering if there is some part of
- 58:56Speaker 1: your character that you played that you really had to
- 59:00Speaker 1: act the crap out of that, like, is just not
- 59:02Speaker 1: part of your personality at all? That's a good question.
- 59:06Speaker 1: I I don't know. I mean, I I don't think
- 59:08Speaker 1: it was. There was certainly parts that were hard to act,
- 59:11Speaker 1: but but I definitely think that over the years, the
- 59:15Speaker 1: characters really morphed with who Donald and I really are
- 59:18Speaker 1: as people. Um, because Bill would just go to our
- 59:22Speaker 1: lives and just write stuff that we told them we
- 59:24Speaker 1: did on the weekend and just pick things out. And yeah,
- 59:28Speaker 1: I mean it really was. It really did truly overlap
- 59:30Speaker 1: with who we are. And as you can see from
- 59:31Speaker 1: listening or here from listening to the podcast, you know,
- 59:34Speaker 1: the banswer and friendship we have is is very similar
- 59:37Speaker 1: to the two characters, right, well, it's very genuine. You
- 59:39Speaker 1: could obviously thank you that I like it when you
- 59:42Speaker 1: said talk because it reminded me of Jersey and uh
- 59:46Speaker 1: when I when I call home and everyone's like talk
- 59:48Speaker 1: walk chocolate dog. We gotta walk the dog every single
- 59:53Speaker 1: day at work. I'm not making fun of I'm making
- 59:56Speaker 1: fun of you. And Philly. They got accents in Philly too. Yeah,
- 59:59Speaker 1: but they don't have the island. They don't have Long Island, right,
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: they all love it though it's Long Island is very
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: similar to Jersey. It is chocolate. You don't even call
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: it Long Island. It's Long Island. It's a guyland. Coffee Talk,
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: remember there was a show on Coffee Talk talk about
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: talking talk amongst yourselves. For Clem talk amongst yourselves, it's
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: coffee talk. Um, alright, another question. I had one more question. Um,
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: I know you you guys are kind of Signed Field fans, right,
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: you guys have watched the show? Never watched an episode
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: of Signed I've watched. I've only watched a couple of
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: episodes of Signed Felt. There's a few shows listen. When
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: I was learning how to do sitcom stuff, I would
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: watch Friends and Sign Fell and stuff like that as
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: research and stuff, but as far as watching it on
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: the regular, not so much. And that's crazy because Seinfeld
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: is based on the building I grew up in. Uh.
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: I grew up with Kenny Kramer. I knew his daughter.
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: Larry David lived in the building. And I don't know
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: who de Sign Felt character supposed to because Jerry sein Feld.
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: I don't recall Jerry Seinfeld living in the building I
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: grew up in. But Larry David and Kenny Kramer, Uh,
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: you know, I know the real Kinney Kramer. I know
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: his daughter. I grew up with her. I've seen some
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: I've seen some episodes, but it wasn't it's not a show.
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: I've seen every single one, but we can probably still
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: answer the question. Well, okay, Well, the reason why I
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: brought it up is because, um, there's I just think
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: of like Scrubs as being in a time capsule in
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: a way, because now days you have computer at your
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: face all the time, all the answers are there, you
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: could look up anything. I was thinking of Seinfeld because
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: there's a specific episode where they are It's shot entirely
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: in a in a parking garage, and the whole episode
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: is them trying to find their are and find each other,
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: and it's like, there's no way that would ever work today.
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: And I was thinking that, you know, I don't know,
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: and I'm wondering how you feel about it. I don't
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: know if Scrubs would have worked as well if it
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: were shot today, with our social media and you know,
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: our phones the way that they are and just being
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: able to look things up whenever you want and stuff
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: like that. I just think, I don't know, what do
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: you guys think? I think Scrubs would have worked today? Actually,
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: I think it would have Actually, well, yeah, look at
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: what's going on right now. We would have been able
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: to tackle really crazy issues like COVID nineteen and you know,
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: racing for the cure for cancer and HIV. And if
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: you look at television, how on television now there's more
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: you know, adds to to make you feel better, but
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: to press you know, the pills, depressed the ship out
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: of you, or make you have suicidal thoughts and stuff
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: like that. I think all of these things, because of
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: where the medical field is right now, would have been
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: touching with Scrubs because we were a medical show. And
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: also we were groundbreaking too, Like you know, there're a
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: lot of shows took their cue from us, and so
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: if we had never come out back then a lot
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: of the tricks and stuff that we used wouldn't have
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: been developed, and so you wouldn't have seen them. So
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: I definitely, and they would have been brand new. So
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: I definitely feel like Scrubs would definitely. Yeah, I think
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: it's sent in today's times. I think where a lot
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: of that stuff would have been folded in, you know.
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: I mean, if you look at this show, there's even
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: in this episode there's a there's a pay phone joke,
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: um um. And and we had like the first generation BlackBerry,
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: so you're right, all of that social media existence wasn't there.
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: But I feel like it could have been folded in
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: and it's just Also, I think the show is so topical.
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: You know, people are always interested in in um in
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: the drama and the camaraderie of a show, of a
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: show like Scrubs, right, yeah, so those things are kind
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: of like, you know, just accessories to the whole story
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: of it. Yeah. I think I think there's a funny
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: joke in j D and Turk trying to go viral
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: with something, you know what I mean, that's probably what
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: they would have tried to do. All right, Well, thank
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: you so much, Jacqueline. We're gonna listen to you. Is
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: it Jacqueline or is it jacqu Lynn. Well, I really
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: go by Jackie jack Okay, Jackie, Jackie g thank you,
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: thank you Jackie. We appreciate you, thank you, thank you
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: so much. Yeah, you too. Be healthy. You know. At
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: the end of the episode, you pull a switcheroo and
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: Rob Maschio gets into the limo and Kelso deserves it
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: and Rob deserves a weekend with somebody who's really going
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: to enjoy. Now, what do you think happened on that
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: weekend in Mexico with Kelso and and the Todd I
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: think the Todd embarrassed the crap out of Kelso. Should
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: we ask Rob? Yeah, let's ask Rob. Let's ask Rob, so, Rob,
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: because you know Rob, you know Rob definitely your research
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: on his character. Do you know I feel good about this?
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: I have to imagine what the scenario exactly. So Rob,
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: here's our question. You know, we know that you were
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: so into every line you did, every moment you did
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: on Scrubs, you would rehearse, you would do your research.
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: So Donald and I have in our heads that you
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: probably did some recon what the character would be doing
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: in Mexico with Kelso? So, could you tell us a
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: little bit about what you and Kelso got up to
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: on your trip to Mexico? The big dogs not want
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: to kiss and tell, but there already was a no
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: kissing policy and placed down there. So it was a
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: nice little trip. We knocked out some pro bono work,
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: then we squeezed in some bone fishing, some motor boating. Anyway,
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: the Todd will be dr ks wingman anytime. Thank you,
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: Thank you. Rob. Um. All right, we did it right,
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: that's the episode. I feel like we did it, dude,
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: I mean you feel like we did it? Yeah? I
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: mean I I Daniel, do you feel like we did it?
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: Do it? Do it? Joel? Did we do it? It
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: was awesome? Guys, you did it. Do get a lot
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: of exciting guests coming up. We're gonna have Tom Kavanaugh
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: coming up from Thunders Loss for Tom Cavanaugh. Doesn't he
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: play a superhero these days? He plays a bunch of
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: characters on this show that he's on. He's on The Flash,
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: which is one of the shows that I do frequent.
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: I do love the show. I do love the characters
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: on this show. Yeah, he's a great actor. He's coming
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: on for two oh six, my big brother, and guess
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: what we got Heather Locklear ship. Yeah, I pulled that,
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: did it? Yeah? I did it? I did it. I
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: can make anything happen, Donal, I can make anything happen.
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: Really yeah, Heather lock and anything you name it, I
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: can have it done. Okay, World Peace right now, that's
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: what that's That's what this whole shows about. His World
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: Peace two oh seven Heather, and then Johnny c McGinley,
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: the Legend, coming on for two oh nine. Can't wait.
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: We're gonna try and get Dick Van Dyke, I mean, right, Joel,
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: working on that, working on that We're hoping that he is.
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: He is healthy and able and willing. Chay Serrano, everybody's
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: favorite guest is coming back on for two fifteen. We're
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: gonna try for Ricky Schroeder for to sixteen, Right, Joel,
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: we gotta do that. You and I should talk about that.
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: Jowell and I booked the guests. Donald doesn't well, I
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: just sing the theme songs. Here we are face to
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: face a spoons. Oh man, I love that show. Hoping
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: to find we two of a kind, waiting to grow,
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: waiting to show together. We're gonna find a way do
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: do do do do together, making a time each day
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: you'll learn all about the things you just can't fine
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: fine silver spoons together you and that was awesome. I
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: can't believe you remember all the lyrics to silver Spoons.
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: I got that one. You know what else? I want?
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: You know what else I remember? Nobody remembers this. Maybe
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: the world is blind? Didn't didn't didn't or just a
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: little and kind webster. Oh no, seems you can't be
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: sure dad and that that and dada of anything anymore.
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: Oh no, this will give it. You maybe be lonely,

- 1:11:29Speaker 1: is the episode of Family Ties when Michael J. Fox
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: turns the house into a hotel when the parents, he
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: turns it into Airbnb motel. When the parents are out
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: of the house and there's a big game in town,
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: everyone's filtering in because there's no motel rooms left in town,
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: and they steal the other team's mascot, and so there's
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: a kangaroo that's brought into the living room and they
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: trashed the house, and then the parents walk in and
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: Michael Gross in one of the best line readings of
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: all time. It cuts to commercial. First, that's the commercial,
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: and then Michael Gross. He can't talk to Michael J.
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: Fox the whole episode, and he finally finally gets up
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: to talk to me. Goes, you know, as parents, when
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: you go away, you expect it certain things will go wrong.
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: A broken dish, spilled milk on the rug, there was
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: a kangaroo in my living room. That's like, that's like
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: perfect sitcom. That is that is the timing. I'll never
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: forget the timing. It maybe want to be a comedic actor.
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: The timing was just masterful. Michael Gross also in Tremors, People,
