- 1:33Speaker 1: Yeah no, no, that's what I meant. No, I didn't
- 1:36Speaker 1: I'm going to pay you. I meant like we would

- 1:46Speaker 3: Want to marry the place she works for.
- 1:50Speaker 1: Yeah, you might read to take out the redacted little
- 1:53Speaker 1: put a beep over my first half of the name
- 1:55Speaker 1: of my company. Yet we have terrible insurance.
- 1:59Speaker 3: Like, isn't that funny?
- 2:01Speaker 2: It's back to.
- 2:04Speaker 3: So now you've proposled him and now you've really proposed him.
- 2:08Speaker 1: So oh yeah, I've been like not in like a
- 2:10Speaker 1: next step. Don't get weird about it. We can still
- 2:13Speaker 1: hang out as friends. I'm I'm not in my twenties,
- 2:16Speaker 1: so I don't accidentally fall in love with my amazing
- 2:19Speaker 1: gay friends anymore.
- 2:20Speaker 2: Have you heard that an is basically a gay hand shape?
- 2:23Speaker 3: Like I never heard that.
- 2:26Speaker 2: He just goes straight to anal and then you're doing buddy.
- 2:30Speaker 3: Yeah, Oh my god, I'm gonna be after this.
- 2:33Speaker 4: What's your name?
- 2:35Speaker 1: I the first time I used to meet you, pull
- 2:40Speaker 1: your pants down?
- 2:42Speaker 2: There is no nice to meet you pull your pants
- 2:44Speaker 2: it's just straight up.
- 2:48Speaker 3: You don't even you know't exchange names. Well I'm dead.
- 2:54Speaker 1: Oh my god. Well I had a woman walk up
- 2:57Speaker 1: to me last night. This is so I tease this
- 3:01Speaker 1: before we started recording, but I had that date and
- 3:03Speaker 1: I had a lady walked up to me last night.
- 3:04Speaker 1: This is not part of the date story. She just
- 3:07Speaker 1: were sitting at the bar and all of a sudden
- 3:08Speaker 1: someone's like right, like in my space. And it could
- 3:12Speaker 1: have been it could have been an unrequested kaseex maybe,
- 3:16Speaker 1: but instead she went is that you? And I went what?
- 3:20Speaker 1: And she was like, you smell like a vanilla cupcake.
- 3:24Speaker 1: And I was like, what, I'm wearing this like Nanette Lapoor,
- 3:29Speaker 1: like perfume for my ipsey glam bag. I don't even
- 3:33Speaker 1: know what it's called. Do you want to smell my wrist?
- 3:35Speaker 1: And I swear to god I could feel her breath.
- 3:37Speaker 1: She was so close to my wrist and she was like,
- 3:40Speaker 1: you smell like a sexy cupcake. And I was like,
- 3:44Speaker 1: thank you.
- 3:45Speaker 3: She drunk or hitting on you or oh.
- 3:47Speaker 1: None of them.
- 3:48Speaker 3: She just was like a crazy porter okay.
- 3:53Speaker 1: And my date was like, well, I didn't know I
- 3:54Speaker 1: was out with a sexy cupcake and I was like,
- 3:56Speaker 1: fuck you, fuck.
- 3:57Speaker 3: You, yeah you are. You want to see it? Are feeling?
- 4:02Speaker 1: So I mean, I had a similar experience, So I
- 4:04Speaker 1: didn't realize I was in an intimate close encounter until
- 4:08Speaker 1: it was happening.
- 4:08Speaker 3: I think you could have had sex with that woman if.
- 4:11Speaker 1: You're well, she was super hot. She just she had
- 4:14Speaker 1: the wrong parts below the waist.
- 4:16Speaker 3: You know, let's get you a strap on, madam.
- 4:21Speaker 1: And also, I'll never go down there with my face.
- 4:24Speaker 1: Is that a problem for you?
- 4:26Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 4:27Speaker 1: Truly I could overcome the waist up lesbian thing in
- 4:30Speaker 1: a long term relationship if I if like the person
- 4:35Speaker 1: was like, oh yeah, I have no feeling down there,
- 4:37Speaker 1: you don't ever have to touch me, then we'd be fine.
- 4:41Speaker 3: But if a kind of accident.
- 4:45Speaker 1: One of Rose's cows, that would be that would be yeah,
- 4:51Speaker 1: plowing ex.
- 4:53Speaker 2: I trip and fill face Boston to.
- 5:01Speaker 3: Is that life alert commercial? Hell with China and I
- 5:07Speaker 3: can't get up and we're sending help, Madam.
- 5:15Speaker 2: They're five minutes away. Is that going to be too?
- 5:18Speaker 2: I think that'll be perfect.
- 5:19Speaker 3: Actually away there you go.
- 5:24Speaker 1: Oh, tell us about your dater. Okay, Well, so I
- 5:28Speaker 1: went out with Glasses, which I told him Gina has
- 5:31Speaker 1: been calling him Glasses. On the date, I said, I
- 5:33Speaker 1: showed my friends a picture of you, and he was like,
- 5:36Speaker 1: oh my god. And so he's a stand up I.
- 5:38Speaker 3: Don't remember his name all yeah, well it's right.
- 5:42Speaker 1: His name is Ryan. He's trying to he was trying
- 5:44Speaker 1: to bring back Rad and I said, good luck. I
- 5:46Speaker 1: tried that, like a decade ago doesn't really catch on
- 5:49Speaker 1: your friend group. So he's in my phone is Rad
- 5:52Speaker 1: Ryan Ryan and R Yeah. So anyway, we went with
- 6:00Speaker 1: this bar cupcake next to Creepies, which I sent the
- 6:03Speaker 1: girls pictures of creepies. I don't know if you've been
- 6:06Speaker 1: to creepies, James, we should go to Creepies.
- 6:10Speaker 3: I was like, move your date over there. That looks fun.
- 6:14Speaker 1: But Star wars a vibe too right, it's it's it's
- 6:17Speaker 1: fun and there was like a DJ. And anyway, so
- 6:22Speaker 1: went to Starbar and so he's a stand up and
- 6:25Speaker 1: he has a podcast that's more successful than ours and
- 6:29Speaker 1: gets like pretty decent horror film like guests and stuff,
- 6:32Speaker 1: and so right off the bat we were talking about
- 6:34Speaker 1: horror films and he was like, ask me anything, and
- 6:38Speaker 1: so I was asking questions and stuff. And he also
- 6:41Speaker 1: hates the Michael Myers or the rob Zombie Halloween feels
- 6:46Speaker 1: like it's too aggressive. And then I was like, okay,
- 6:50Speaker 1: well it's cool that you don't like all the rob
- 6:52Speaker 1: zombie movies as much as like I do, but like,
- 6:56Speaker 1: how do you feel about slaughter House? And he was like,
- 6:58Speaker 1: I fucking love slaughter House and I was like, that's.
- 7:03Speaker 3: Check all the boxes.
- 7:05Speaker 1: Yeah, And then we shared, you know, bad date stories
- 7:07Speaker 1: and stuff.
- 7:08Speaker 2: That all the boxes.
- 7:10Speaker 1: No, no, it was we just huged me. It was
- 7:13Speaker 1: very cordial. We just hugged and he told me he
- 7:16Speaker 1: had an excellent time and stuff. But at the end
- 7:18Speaker 1: of the day we ended up with our own inside
- 7:20Speaker 1: joke because we were talking about dating apps and success
- 7:24Speaker 1: and he told me about another dating app where like Tattooed,
- 7:28Speaker 1: alternative people exist that's a little different than like Tinder
- 7:32Speaker 1: and all the others and so, and I was like,
- 7:35Speaker 1: I feel like you're doing yourself a disservice because you
- 7:38Speaker 1: know what if I go find someone else now, And
- 7:40Speaker 1: I said, no, I'm just kidding. And he told me
- 7:43Speaker 1: about how he had gone to one other date on
- 7:46Speaker 1: Starbar and he was real glad it went better. And
- 7:49Speaker 1: I shared how I got left at a bar and
- 7:51Speaker 1: he said, well, this girl didn't leave but twenty minutes.
- 7:53Speaker 1: And she said something about how like he was like
- 7:57Speaker 1: too high level conversation for her and there was no
- 8:01Speaker 1: romantic vibe and she had to go and I said,
- 8:03Speaker 1: I I'm pretty smart and I don't fucking know what
- 8:05Speaker 1: that means. And he was like and then he said,
- 8:09Speaker 1: well she was from Santa Cruz and I went and
- 8:13Speaker 1: I went, oh, I'm sorry, do you not like Santa Cruz.
- 8:17Speaker 1: So by the end of this, and you know, me
- 8:19Speaker 1: being me and just like really like rasing him, it
- 8:24Speaker 1: evolved to him hating fucking Santa Cruz and he's like,
- 8:28Speaker 1: I have friends in Santa Cruz. I don't like I
- 8:29Speaker 1: don't hate it. I like it there and I was like, no,
- 8:31Speaker 1: it's fine. Fuck Santa Cruz. And so we walked. He
- 8:36Speaker 1: walked me to my car like a gentleman, and we
- 8:38Speaker 1: said good night, and he was like I would love
- 8:40Speaker 1: to see again and I was like totally. And I
- 8:43Speaker 1: got home and he was like, hey, I hope he
- 8:46Speaker 1: made it home safe. And I was like I did,
- 8:48Speaker 1: and I said, fuck Santa Cruz.
- 8:52Speaker 3: Read Ryan with the romance.
- 8:55Speaker 1: Right well, So then I when I woke up this morning,
- 8:58Speaker 1: I saw that he had laughed at it, and then
- 9:00Speaker 1: he said, I'm still pissed at Santa Cruz.
- 9:05Speaker 3: I mean Santa Cruz.
- 9:07Speaker 1: So that's so I may or may not wear a
- 9:09Speaker 1: Santa Cruz shirt. I found a Santa Cruz shirt on Amazon,
- 9:15Speaker 1: and you were like, how cool he is thirteen dollars? Yeah,
- 9:19Speaker 1: I think because he's like a skate punk, kind of
- 9:21Speaker 1: like tatted life full of trauma type person, just like me.
- 9:26Speaker 1: Well except I don't skate, that's not my thing. But anyway,
- 9:30Speaker 1: I found one that's thirteen dollars that has like a
- 9:33Speaker 1: skeleton skateboarding and it's like Santa Cruz, Santa Cruz, Santa Cruz,
- 9:37Speaker 1: Santa Cruz, but a skeleton. And I was like, fuck
- 9:40Speaker 1: eyes every I'm wearing this on our second date one.
- 9:45Speaker 5: I have so much Santa Cruz stars. I have mugs,
- 9:48Speaker 5: stickers because that's where we vacation.
- 9:50Speaker 1: Isn't that a Yeah? He doesn't even dislike Santa Cruz.
- 9:53Speaker 1: He just felt like she was representative of that, like
- 9:57Speaker 1: hippie dippy like me, like five dollar stoner vibe people.
- 10:01Speaker 3: Oh I don't know they had a hippie vibe.
- 10:03Speaker 5: Okay, oh yeah, it's fun enough anyway, Yeah.
- 10:09Speaker 3: Organid organ is that the same vibe?
- 10:14Speaker 2: I have no idea. Oh I've never been to Santa Cruz.
- 10:19Speaker 6: Oh, and I have seen like the shirts and like
- 10:21Speaker 6: the graphics where it's just like Santa Cruz, a kind
- 10:23Speaker 6: of like eighties type font.
- 10:25Speaker 1: Oh in the like red dot circle that's their like
- 10:28Speaker 1: fucking logo.
- 10:30Speaker 2: Oh wow.
- 10:32Speaker 1: The if you buy a shirt on Amazon with that
- 10:35Speaker 1: dot logo with the eighties Santa Cruz, it is like
- 10:39Speaker 1: three hundred percent more expensive than like somebody else's Santa
- 10:42Speaker 1: Cruz shirt. I don't know why that's such an iconic thing.
- 10:45Speaker 1: It's just literally a red dot with words. But like
- 10:48Speaker 1: I think that T shirt was like thirty nine dollars
- 10:52Speaker 1: or something, and I was like, thirteen sounds good. I
- 10:54Speaker 1: like this off joke. I'd like eight for a joke,
- 11:00Speaker 1: all right, I can. I can tolerate this.
- 11:02Speaker 3: Maybe if you were at the Santa Cruz Walmart, you
- 11:04Speaker 3: could find.
- 11:07Speaker 1: That that seems expensive, but I could hop a flight
- 11:09Speaker 1: to get a cheaper shirt.
- 11:14Speaker 3: I'm glad your date went well.
- 11:18Speaker 2: And like laugh emojis and sweetness and texting.
- 11:22Speaker 1: It's nice. Yeah, it's nice. Well, I mean after getting
- 11:25Speaker 1: left at a bar by Dick fuck McGhee.
- 11:29Speaker 2: Every McGee I've ever met like.
- 11:30Speaker 1: That, Yeah, Dick fuck.
- 11:35Speaker 2: That whole family is so messed up.
- 11:38Speaker 1: I'm so mad at them.
- 11:40Speaker 3: James, how much. Uh what was it carnadoes? Did you
- 11:44Speaker 3: eat at the festival or what.
- 11:46Speaker 2: Was its worth?
- 11:51Speaker 3: I just wanted to follow up for our listeners.
- 11:53Speaker 1: Like doctor Jonathan Newman, person size, or like Dorothy says.
- 11:59Speaker 6: Dorothy said, more like Alice in Wonderland, because once I
- 12:04Speaker 6: had a Margarita than deaf, like the quantity got bigger.
- 12:08Speaker 1: Oh like Alice when she's big.
- 12:10Speaker 4: When she gets big, she's stuck in the house.
- 12:14Speaker 2: That was me in my car, just legs meat sweats.
- 12:18Speaker 2: I sure did.
- 12:19Speaker 3: That was no regrets.
- 12:24Speaker 1: What's weird is jams walk up with a no regrets
- 12:26Speaker 1: said to.
- 12:30Speaker 6: Actually, I didn't really drink that whole time that I
- 12:33Speaker 6: was working on sync of to MYO, just because I
- 12:35Speaker 6: was so tired.
- 12:36Speaker 1: Or you were drunk on meat?
- 12:38Speaker 6: I was, I was, I was drunk drunk us be
- 12:42Speaker 6: it drunk. I don't remember if I said this last time,
- 12:45Speaker 6: but the like Alpa store tacos are some of my favorites,
- 12:51Speaker 6: and like the only place that it ever had them
- 12:53Speaker 6: on a vertical rotating fit was in Mexico.
- 12:56Speaker 2: Oh yeah, yeah, several of the vendors had that.
- 12:58Speaker 3: I was like the pineapple use was coming down. Oh
- 13:04Speaker 3: now he just wants more. I'm sorry, I got him
- 13:06Speaker 3: all excited.
- 13:07Speaker 4: That sounds so good.
- 13:10Speaker 3: He's got a meat boner right now. I guess it
- 13:14Speaker 3: would be made of meat.
- 13:15Speaker 1: So that we're like very barely into this episode and
- 13:20Speaker 1: we have so many quotable moments, uh for our audience
- 13:23Speaker 1: summers meat boner. I mean, dick fuck, that's you should
- 13:29Speaker 1: Santa Cruz, Dick fuck McKee fux Santa Cruz. You're welcome, listeners.
- 13:35Speaker 6: Does that mean that Glasses is gonna get royalties if
- 13:37Speaker 6: you print off?
- 13:40Speaker 1: No, because I was the one that insinuated he hated
- 13:43Speaker 1: Santa Cruz because of how he said it. So I'm
- 13:46Speaker 1: the Paris Hilton in this and we're gonna make the money.
- 13:50Speaker 3: D Ryan.
- 13:51Speaker 1: We could let rad Ryan come come along if we
- 13:54Speaker 1: feel like it, but it's not obligated as that's right,
- 13:59Speaker 1: I mean he's already. This is the first person in
- 14:02Speaker 1: probably six months of dating that is getting a second
- 14:05Speaker 1: date that I'm not going begrudging. Well, no, I guess no, Sorry,
- 14:11Speaker 1: he's the second person in six months. The other guy
- 14:14Speaker 1: was that that weird guy that at least you know,
- 14:17Speaker 1: Stella got her groove back, but god.
- 14:19Speaker 4: He was annoying.
- 14:22Speaker 3: Well, you you crawled, so now you could walk with Ryan.
- 14:25Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 14:26Speaker 2: Was this that guy that was like wanting to pick
- 14:28Speaker 2: you up all the time?
- 14:30Speaker 1: No, this was the guy who's like adult son moved
- 14:34Speaker 1: home and got busy because he moved in with him
- 14:37Speaker 1: and like his girl. He and his girlfriend moved in.
- 14:40Speaker 1: He couldn't Oh, he couldn't sit down. That was do
- 14:43Speaker 1: you remember I told you I didn't see myself standing
- 14:46Speaker 1: up for the rest of my life. He had like
- 14:47Speaker 1: a back injury and he couldn't like sit for more
- 14:50Speaker 1: than like five ten minutes at a time, so he
- 14:53Speaker 1: was just always like leering over me. I mean, he
- 14:55Speaker 1: almost died. I it was me being a shallow person.
- 14:59Speaker 1: I guess that I didn't want to stand up for
- 15:00Speaker 1: the rest of my life.
- 15:01Speaker 3: But like, so you can't just hang out and watch TV.
- 15:04Speaker 1: No, he never sat down for like two full dates lawn. Ironically,
- 15:11Speaker 1: he was fine to lay down and like have sex.
- 15:13Speaker 1: So I was like, wait, so what, I guess if
- 15:16Speaker 1: you want something bad enough and sitting just must not
- 15:19Speaker 1: be a priority. I don't know. Anyway, I wish him
- 15:23Speaker 1: the best.
- 15:24Speaker 3: Go to the toilet and he's like, I can't do it.
- 15:26Speaker 1: How he was a man. He was a man's plainer,
- 15:29Speaker 1: like that was my thing, Aaron's favorite. I'd be like, oh,
- 15:34Speaker 1: I'm I do podcasts and he's like, oh yeah, let
- 15:36Speaker 1: me tell you about podcasting because I know more than you.
- 15:39Speaker 1: And I'd be like, oh, thank.
- 15:40Speaker 3: You, Oh my god, even if you do, who cares me?
- 15:44Speaker 1: Yeah? Fuck you? I know how much I want to know.
- 15:47Speaker 1: That's that's the thing. Anything that you know more than
- 15:50Speaker 1: me about unless I say, oh my god, tell me more.
- 15:53Speaker 1: I know the amount I want to know already, or
- 15:55Speaker 1: I would know as much as you do. Like I'm okay,
- 16:01Speaker 1: I'm okay, I'm just feeling triggered. Hey, we've been talking
- 16:06Speaker 1: for a while. We should probably get into the show, right.
- 16:11Speaker 1: We like each other too much, guys.
- 16:12Speaker 3: That's I like you.
- 16:16Speaker 2: I like you too?
- 16:18Speaker 3: What hmmm?
- 16:22Speaker 2: I like you too? Oh my god, it's oh what
- 16:26Speaker 2: is that?
- 16:26Speaker 6: Oh there's there's two characters and like one of them
- 16:31Speaker 6: it's like into pain.
- 16:34Speaker 2: Oh what is that?
- 16:34Speaker 6: Oh god, while you're getting the show pulled up or something,
- 16:37Speaker 6: I got uh.
- 16:41Speaker 7: Oh wait, oh just the musical? Oh okay, So have
- 16:49Speaker 7: you guys seen that? Yeah, I've listened to the CD.
- 16:52Speaker 1: I haven't seen I'm like obsessed with it. I have
- 16:55Speaker 1: a Christmas ornament that says buy more crystals.
- 17:02Speaker 2: So there's a character. It's a little girl Scout.
- 17:06Speaker 6: Oh yeah, and she has a heart arrhythmia.
- 17:12Speaker 3: My favorite song. It's such a build up.
- 17:15Speaker 2: Oh, it's so great.
- 17:16Speaker 6: And she has this pacemaker slash defibrillator in her chest
- 17:21Speaker 6: so if she's having a problem, it'll restart her heart.
- 17:24Speaker 6: And she can't get too excited, too scared, whatever, unless
- 17:28Speaker 6: because it might stop her heart. And so at one
- 17:32Speaker 6: point she's meeting Lydia and the potentially selling her Girl
- 17:39Speaker 6: Scout cookies, and she has an episode in front of
- 17:43Speaker 6: Lydia and she's like one, two three, and.
- 17:48Speaker 2: Then Lydia is like, you're fun. I like you, You're fun.
- 17:51Speaker 2: And then the girls goes, I like you too.
- 17:56Speaker 1: Yeah, perhaps less creepy than you initially said it. Now
- 18:00Speaker 1: I see the correlation and.
- 18:02Speaker 6: Also one of the best lyrical lines in a musical.
- 18:05Speaker 6: And no one gets molested by it.
- 18:06Speaker 1: Got eighteen.
- 18:09Speaker 2: Go inside.
- 18:11Speaker 3: I want to go see that lives.
- 18:14Speaker 1: It's an incredible I it came through Portland and I
- 18:18Speaker 1: saw it. Did you see it when I was here
- 18:19Speaker 1: at James?
- 18:20Speaker 7: No?
- 18:22Speaker 1: If it comes back, we should go. It is such
- 18:24Speaker 1: a fun show.
- 18:25Speaker 6: Oh yeah, I mean the music's fucking great. Alex Brightman, Yeah,
- 18:31Speaker 6: Beatle Juice, like, oh my god, fucking nailed it, like
- 18:35Speaker 6: hit it out of the park.
- 18:38Speaker 1: He was born to play that role. Like the guy
- 18:40Speaker 1: that was in the touring company that came through here
- 18:44Speaker 1: was doing Alex Brightman right, Like they try to do that,
- 18:47Speaker 1: they find someone that has a similar quality. I think
- 18:50Speaker 1: Hamilton's one of the few where they're like, fuck the original,
- 18:54Speaker 1: let's see what you got. But like in general, to
- 18:57Speaker 1: appeal to old white people, they wanted to sound like
- 19:00Speaker 1: the album, and so I saw like a clone Aboulex Brightman, right,
- 19:04Speaker 1: but like the Dollar Store version, like it just wasn't
- 19:08Speaker 1: as good. But yeah that he I love that. He
- 19:14Speaker 1: fucking So if someone shows me a bootleg of a
- 19:18Speaker 1: Broadway show, I'm gonna watch it because.
- 19:21Speaker 2: You mean a slime tutorial, Uh.
- 19:25Speaker 1: Sure, m m yeah. But like if someone shows me that,
- 19:30Speaker 1: I'm like, I love it. But at the same time,
- 19:33Speaker 1: like I wish Broadway would just sell like Blu Ray
- 19:36Speaker 1: Digital whatever. I've often felt like that would be such
- 19:39Speaker 1: a nice thing to do, but I know they want
- 19:41Speaker 1: people to keeping to see the show, so they don't.
- 19:43Speaker 1: But he called out someone that was filming in the
- 19:45Speaker 1: middle of the show. He literally stopped a performance one
- 19:48Speaker 1: time and was like, Hi, Hello, I fucking love that.
- 19:54Speaker 1: I think that is an acceptable way to shut that
- 19:58Speaker 1: shit down line and on thought that was great.
- 20:01Speaker 2: Oh hell yeah.
- 20:01Speaker 6: I've definitely as I'm performing, like gone backstage and told
- 20:05Speaker 6: the either assistant stage manager or somebody that's backstage with
- 20:09Speaker 6: house comms, you'd.
- 20:10Speaker 2: Be like, hey, this row, this seat or roughly this
- 20:13Speaker 2: far in there's somebody filming, because you can usually see
- 20:15Speaker 2: the lens.
- 20:17Speaker 6: But yeah, I wish they did more of those, like
- 20:19Speaker 6: pro shots distributed kind of like the nineties into the woods. Yeah,
- 20:25Speaker 6: every yes, So I wish they did more of that
- 20:29Speaker 6: kind of stuff, which they kind of had, like because
- 20:32Speaker 6: of COVID.
- 20:33Speaker 1: I feel like if they sorry, we were going to
- 20:37Speaker 1: have to hear about the episode, but real quick, because
- 20:39Speaker 1: maybe Broadway is listening and they'll fix this. If the
- 20:43Speaker 1: show got to like a certain gross or the show
- 20:46Speaker 1: was going to close, I think that would be an
- 20:48Speaker 1: acceptable time to offer a limited time off. Do it
- 20:50Speaker 1: like the Disney Vault charge a little bit too much
- 20:53Speaker 1: for it, but I would pay. I would pay as
- 20:56Speaker 1: much as a full cost Orchestra ticket to be able
- 20:59Speaker 1: to watch some of those things. Again, I don't understand.
- 21:03Speaker 1: And like that Broadway streaming.
- 21:04Speaker 3: Service that I was just gonna say, yeah, but it's
- 21:08Speaker 3: like like the David Hasselhoff Jacqueline Hyde is on there.
- 21:13Speaker 1: And let me tell you that I saw the original
- 21:16Speaker 1: Broadway cast and the pre uh like the out of
- 21:20Speaker 1: town preview before Broadway, and the show was fucking gorgeous.
- 21:25Speaker 1: And David Hasselhoff is not doing it justice.
- 21:28Speaker 3: Bad news from God Teddy. That's my favorite part of
- 21:33Speaker 3: that one.
- 21:34Speaker 1: It's pretty good. It's it's it's a good show. Also
- 21:39Speaker 1: the second, the first time I ever saw the second,
- 21:42Speaker 1: Lucy came out in her all white corset with her
- 21:47Speaker 1: white bed. I was like, oh so she dies now,
- 21:50Speaker 1: Like I was just like, you don't put a character
- 21:53Speaker 1: that's not been in any white in an all white room.
- 21:56Speaker 1: If it's not gonna be for blood.
- 22:02Speaker 3: Sorry, check off's white dress. There better to be blotter
- 22:07Speaker 3: seemen on that.
- 22:11Speaker 2: We're both sort of a show called has Been Hotel.
- 22:15Speaker 3: I've heard of it.
- 22:16Speaker 1: I have heard a little bit of it, but I
- 22:18Speaker 1: haven't seen it yet. But I've been listening on Spotify.
- 22:21Speaker 6: It's so part of my like sinco to my letting
- 22:24Speaker 6: off steam, like whatever YouTube rabbit holes that I would
- 22:28Speaker 6: go into people were falling asleep is. I came across
- 22:31Speaker 6: a couple of the songs and they even did like
- 22:33Speaker 6: a live performance of songs from the show. But one
- 22:37Speaker 6: of the songs is called clean It Up and it's
- 22:40Speaker 6: about the maid of this hotel that's in Hell, and
- 22:44Speaker 6: one of her lines is like there's piss and jes
- 22:46Speaker 6: all over the rugs.
- 22:48Speaker 3: Okay, now I need to go see this now I'm sold.
- 22:52Speaker 6: Yeah, just go on YouTube. Look up has been hotel
- 22:55Speaker 6: clean it Up? And the song is a banger.
- 22:59Speaker 1: It's a It's Alex Brightman's in that as well.
- 23:02Speaker 3: No was he nice?
- 23:04Speaker 1: Also Alex Brightman has a funny song about doing cocaine,
- 23:08Speaker 1: like on a date or something. Anyway, check out Alex
- 23:11Speaker 1: Brightman listeners if you haven't.
- 23:12Speaker 3: Anyway, can I tell you about the episode now?
- 23:16Speaker 1: Yes?
- 23:16Speaker 2: Please? All right?
- 23:20Speaker 3: This is season three, episode twenty, and it's called and
- 23:25Speaker 3: Ma Makes Three. Original air date February twentieth, nineteen eighty eight.
- 23:30Speaker 3: Directed by Terry Hughes, written by Winnifred Harvey, sal Wars,
- 23:36Speaker 3: Kristin and James, what do you think an Ma Makes
- 23:38Speaker 3: three is about.
- 23:40Speaker 4: The Fia makes three Lauzannas for the upcoming fundraiser, the Sanielforno.
- 23:48Speaker 1: And how many hours does that take to make just
- 23:50Speaker 1: get sixteen? It does?
- 23:52Speaker 6: You're right, James, what do you think I think Sophia
- 23:57Speaker 6: gets a new cam quarter and becomes the household.
- 24:01Speaker 3: Cuck, even with her daughter nice.
- 24:08Speaker 6: You know, no, probably not with her, Okay, definitely Blanche,
- 24:12Speaker 6: she is a line.
- 24:14Speaker 2: Probably only Blanche.
- 24:15Speaker 1: Does she have her purse in the chair.
- 24:18Speaker 5: Well, she's holding the cameras maybe the camera is set
- 24:22Speaker 5: on top of the perse and she's holding the perch.
- 24:24Speaker 3: And she's gonna like sell the videotapes.
- 24:26Speaker 2: Oh yeah, she's a business woman. She would make make
- 24:28Speaker 2: money off.
- 24:29Speaker 4: Of that bank selling them at Shady Pines.
- 24:33Speaker 3: Aaron's got a tiny Sophia purson.
- 24:35Speaker 1: I was showing Gina her tiny Sophia purse, the little
- 24:39Speaker 1: the fake lego set that Jeff Schuster gave me. The
- 24:42Speaker 1: Sophia brickhead came with an extra person. So I said,
- 24:46Speaker 1: it's going to sit here in the La Buo Boo's
- 24:47Speaker 1: cup chair until you guys, until I send you another package.
- 24:52Speaker 2: So I love.
- 24:57Speaker 1: Well because he does watch me. Obi w watches me
- 25:00Speaker 1: all day while I'm at work training people too, So
- 25:03Speaker 1: he really is just sitting here staring at me all
- 25:06Speaker 1: the fucking time. Now the real test will be off
- 25:10Speaker 1: I set him in his little chair like next to
- 25:12Speaker 1: the bed. First time I have sex with someone in
- 25:14Speaker 1: my house. Again, he's just like watching. That's when it
- 25:18Speaker 1: becomes a true cup chair guys.
- 25:21Speaker 3: Now, who do you think will be the hardest for
- 25:25Speaker 3: Aaron to prove as the villain?
- 25:28Speaker 1: James? Oh?
- 25:29Speaker 3: Is James doing it?
- 25:30Speaker 1: Okay? Yeah, Aaron gets a break when James is here.
- 25:34Speaker 3: Who Kristen and Aaron? Who do you think will be
- 25:37Speaker 3: the hardest?
- 25:40Speaker 1: I know, so I can't okay, just just Kristen.
- 25:43Speaker 4: I'm gonna say Rose.
- 25:45Speaker 3: Rose Nylon, Rose Rose, Linstrom Nylon.
- 25:51Speaker 2: Oh, I guess we'll find out.
- 25:56Speaker 3: All right, let's go watch this episode listener's you will
- 26:00Speaker 3: hear a commercial and then we'll be back like magic
- 26:03Speaker 3: poof gone.

- 26:30Speaker 3: Poof, We're back like magic.
- 26:32Speaker 1: I told poof, motherfuckers, Poof, motherfucker it's a Golden Girls.
- 26:39Speaker 3: That was a fun episode. I enjoyed it.
- 26:42Speaker 4: Yeah, that was not much of a.
- 26:44Speaker 3: B plot, but enough little B plot.
- 26:47Speaker 1: Yeah, not as silly as a bee plot, because I
- 26:51Speaker 1: think the A plot was so like all consuming.
- 26:56Speaker 3: Yeah, good strong plot. What'd you think, Jane.
- 27:00Speaker 6: I liked the style of the plot because usually the
- 27:05Speaker 6: B plot's like just so random and so like quirky,
- 27:10Speaker 6: whereas this earnest investment on both parties, you win this
- 27:14Speaker 6: like chairperson position, and then the A plot like I
- 27:19Speaker 6: was actually decently invested.
- 27:20Speaker 2: I was like, come on, Dorothy, get it together.
- 27:23Speaker 5: Yeah, because he seemed really into her, like it like
- 27:27Speaker 5: the seven.
- 27:28Speaker 3: The B plot led to some great insults to Dorothy.
- 27:34Speaker 6: That whole section that, oh man, well we can't wear
- 27:39Speaker 6: the chain because I would draw all the attention to
- 27:41Speaker 6: the fat tire or spare tire.
- 27:45Speaker 2: Oh god, so rude.
- 27:48Speaker 3: We're in our forties. We sit down with back pillows.
- 27:54Speaker 1: What sit are you fuckers talking?
- 27:56Speaker 3: I said, we're in our forties, we sit with back pillows.
- 27:59Speaker 1: Oh well, the back pillow on this gaming chair is
- 28:03Speaker 1: not where my lower back is. So when my mom
- 28:08Speaker 1: and I remained my t shirt quilt, and by we,
- 28:11Speaker 1: I mean I picked which one stayed, and she stitched
- 28:15Speaker 1: them back together with the new shirt. There was an
- 28:19Speaker 1: extra Titanic shirt, and so I said, I need a
- 28:22Speaker 1: back pillow for my chair. So she made this, and
- 28:24Speaker 1: then she made one of the Warner brothers for me,
- 28:28Speaker 1: or the Warner brother and a Warner sister from Anias.
- 28:34Speaker 1: So I've dot and yacko, no wacko, I've gotten wacko
- 28:39Speaker 1: on a pillow. We don't know what happened to the
- 28:41Speaker 1: third panel that had yacko on it. Anyway, lungster short
- 28:47Speaker 1: too late, I'm back, sorry, guys. All right, I don't
- 28:50Speaker 1: even know what she wanted. I just gave her all
- 28:52Speaker 1: the things. I like, put a pile of treats down,
- 28:54Speaker 1: I put her water on the couch.
- 28:56Speaker 4: Like.
- 29:00Speaker 6: On that.
- 29:01Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know, Sta in your living.
- 29:03Speaker 3: Room, I do a blow mold Santa.
- 29:06Speaker 1: Yeah, he's you can see the edge of him.
- 29:08Speaker 2: Old buzzy edge. Yeah.
- 29:10Speaker 3: Yeah, he's edging.
- 29:12Speaker 1: Yes, Santa is always edging it.
- 29:15Speaker 3: Oh, very Chris.
- 29:18Speaker 1: His dick is right by Marie ant when it's head.
- 29:20Speaker 2: Oh who's been enough?
- 29:30Speaker 3: Aaron? Do you have a lovely quiz for us?
- 29:33Speaker 2: Oh?
- 29:33Speaker 1: My god, I have such a lovely quiz for you
- 29:35Speaker 1: guys on this one. I'm very excited. Your buzzers are
- 29:40Speaker 1: all ready to go. Please let me finish the question.
- 29:44Speaker 3: I was trying to click the one that you have shared.
- 29:47Speaker 3: It's not buzzing. I'm stupid, You're not stupid.
- 29:55Speaker 1: All right, here we go. What is Rose making for breakfast?
- 30:04Speaker 1: Damn uh? Prop daddy was first?
- 30:07Speaker 2: Prop Daddy some chocolate chip pancakes.
- 30:11Speaker 1: Yes, yes, that is correct. All right, first point, James,
- 30:16Speaker 1: you're on the board.
- 30:17Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 30:18Speaker 1: Why did Sophia somewhat sarcastically say that she's I'm sorry?
- 30:26Speaker 1: What was the rule?
- 30:27Speaker 2: Guys?
- 30:28Speaker 3: I didn't say anything. James hung himself on that one.
- 30:32Speaker 1: What's the second time he's made me almost break up
- 30:34Speaker 1: with him today?
- 30:35Speaker 4: It's weird?
- 30:36Speaker 1: Okay? Why does Sophia somewhat sarcastically say that she is
- 30:41Speaker 1: so upset M.
- 30:44Speaker 4: Kristen because she can't relate to thirty something.
- 30:49Speaker 3: Yeah, oh I thought it was like the three things
- 30:52Speaker 3: she listed.
- 30:52Speaker 1: Okay, No, every time I every time I see this episode,
- 30:57Speaker 1: I'm like, I really should have. I like I should
- 30:59Speaker 1: go back and watch thirty something because it was such
- 31:03Speaker 1: an iconic show that like I was too young for.
- 31:05Speaker 1: And then I never do.
- 31:07Speaker 3: I never is it even available anywhere?
- 31:10Speaker 1: I don't know, I don't, I don't know. All right,
- 31:14Speaker 1: next question, what what is thirty something? It was a show.
- 31:19Speaker 1: It was like it was like a friend.
- 31:22Speaker 3: There's a drama.
- 31:23Speaker 1: Yeah, it was like a drama version of like friends
- 31:26Speaker 1: before friends was a thing.
- 31:27Speaker 3: It was a group off my trivia.
- 31:30Speaker 1: Oh fuck, I'm so sorry. No, we told okay, well, speaking.
- 31:36Speaker 2: Of that was my fault because I asked the question.
- 31:38Speaker 3: No, it's fine as long as we get the trivia
- 31:41Speaker 3: out there.
- 31:42Speaker 2: I'm sorry.
- 31:44Speaker 1: All right, we're gonna take a point away from James
- 31:47Speaker 1: I apologizing.
- 31:52Speaker 2: Can I.
- 31:55Speaker 1: Okay, what office is Blanche running for? Oh? That was
- 32:04Speaker 1: that was close. You guys all were quick. But Kristen,
- 32:07Speaker 1: I want you on my Jeopardy team, What was the answer?
- 32:10Speaker 4: Fashion show chairman of the tinker Bells.
- 32:13Speaker 9: Yep, you nailed it, thinker BANDI did you want to
- 32:19Speaker 9: give me uh a score?
- 32:21Speaker 1: Telly? This early? While I certainly have no just kidding,
- 32:24Speaker 1: I'm kidding, I was kidding. I just give you a little,
- 32:27Speaker 1: a little shade, A little shade for one of my besties.
- 32:30Speaker 1: All right, let's go, who does Dorothy say she only
- 32:35Speaker 1: sleeps with?
- 32:38Speaker 7: Oh?
- 32:38Speaker 1: Fuck, I forgot to reset the buzzer. Guys, that's my
- 32:41Speaker 1: because yeah, I am. James is earning a slap Telly.
- 32:48Speaker 1: He is now the second person to get the ada.
- 32:52Speaker 1: I know, but it's his eyes. And it sucks that
- 32:55Speaker 1: this is an audience because if you could see how
- 32:58Speaker 1: he's looking at me right now, you would know he
- 33:00Speaker 1: deserved that slut.
- 33:01Speaker 3: Those eyes away, James.
- 33:03Speaker 1: All right, well, let's ask this who who does Dorothy
- 33:09Speaker 1: say she will sleep with? Or who does Dorothy say? Who?
- 33:16Speaker 1: Who does Dorothy say she only sleeps with?
- 33:21Speaker 3: Oh? Shit, it's something like only do psychologically torture men.
- 33:34Speaker 1: Yeah, that's that's close enough. I guess she So she
- 33:38Speaker 1: says that she only sleeps with men she wants to
- 33:40Speaker 1: scar psychologically Okay, yeah, all right, we're gonna give that
- 33:45Speaker 1: to Gina.
- 33:47Speaker 3: That's me.
- 33:48Speaker 1: Okay, now would be a great time, Kristen, if you
- 33:50Speaker 1: want to give us that score tally.
- 33:52Speaker 5: Okay, Aaron has cyril yep, Geena and James have one,
- 33:56Speaker 5: and I guess we did it.
- 33:58Speaker 1: Okay, Oh all right? What was super hard for first time?
- 34:04Speaker 1: For Oh my god, guys, I can't talk anymore. What
- 34:07Speaker 1: was hard for the first Eskimo family in Saint Olaf.
- 34:12Speaker 4: Oh, Kristin making friends?
- 34:15Speaker 1: Yes, stop there, no more. I just said that ahead
- 34:20Speaker 1: of time.
- 34:22Speaker 4: I'm trying to limit my answers.
- 34:26Speaker 1: How did the Eskimo family finally make friends?
- 34:36Speaker 3: She's quick, man.
- 34:38Speaker 1: I want you guys to know, and I'll let you
- 34:40Speaker 1: answer to a second Kristen. The people in my classes
- 34:43Speaker 1: at work than training have become you guys. When I
- 34:46Speaker 1: do knowledge checks and I ask questions, I have now
- 34:50Speaker 1: started saying like, okay, well this week, I want to say.
- 34:53Speaker 1: If I had like a family feud team, or if
- 34:56Speaker 1: I had like a group Jeopardy setting, so and so's
- 34:59Speaker 1: at the top of my lif for their buzzer speed,
- 35:01Speaker 1: like I just make people want to ring in quick
- 35:03Speaker 1: and be It's me I'm the problem, Kristen, what's the answer.
- 35:10Speaker 4: The forty nine drought they melted their house and saved
- 35:12Speaker 4: the town from dehydrating.
- 35:15Speaker 3: Yep, it was a memory test, she talked, and then
- 35:17Speaker 3: you had to remember.
- 35:19Speaker 1: Yeah, well, this is like getting out of high school, right,
- 35:22Speaker 1: It's it's like comprehension as well as next question, after
- 35:30Speaker 1: Rose and Blanche critique Dorothy's appearance, what does she say, Gina.
- 35:37Speaker 3: I'll just hang a sign that says undateable. It sounds
- 35:45Speaker 3: like no, I mean, it's not close enough.
- 35:49Speaker 1: So I'm gonna have to see James. If prop Daddy
- 35:52Speaker 1: James knows.
- 35:53Speaker 2: He said that she was going to spray paint a
- 35:55Speaker 2: sign saying that she was too ugly.
- 36:00Speaker 3: Oh yeah, And.
- 36:02Speaker 2: Then they're like, well, what are you going to hang
- 36:03Speaker 2: it front the chain of the pearls.
- 36:05Speaker 1: Yeah, I guess that's close enough. Yeah, it's that you
- 36:09Speaker 1: got more to live, right, Yeah? Yeah, she says, why
- 36:12Speaker 1: don't I just wear a sign that says too ugly
- 36:15Speaker 1: to live live?
- 36:18Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 36:19Speaker 1: Well, we're going to give James that point. Okay, we
- 36:22Speaker 1: hobbled across that finish line. But Christian, you're so far
- 36:25Speaker 1: in the lead that's fine. Okay, The other hump reference
- 36:29Speaker 1: for our listeners that we just recently had was that
- 36:33Speaker 1: I think Dorothy says she was going to put a
- 36:35Speaker 1: sign on her hump when she had that ugly black
- 36:39Speaker 1: dress her mom hated for that like charity thing. Also
- 36:42Speaker 1: call out Gina's wearing a tropical shirt that I thought
- 36:45Speaker 1: felt very golden girls, but it is in fact blue.
- 36:49Speaker 1: He was really cute.
- 36:51Speaker 4: Yeah, that's awesome.
- 36:53Speaker 1: Also, speaking of fashion, why does Rose say Blanche can't
- 36:58Speaker 1: win the fashion show chair?
- 37:00Speaker 3: Mm?
- 37:00Speaker 1: Hmmm, Kristen, dang.
- 37:05Speaker 4: No, I thought it was the other way. Wait, why
- 37:07Speaker 4: Roe says Blanche can't win it?
- 37:09Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 37:10Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, because the it's all women.
- 37:14Speaker 4: There's no men on the committee.
- 37:16Speaker 1: Yes, okay.
- 37:19Speaker 3: I had a glimmer of hope shed it up.
- 37:22Speaker 5: Well for a second there, I thought she said why
- 37:24Speaker 5: Rose couldn't win?
- 37:25Speaker 4: And then I'm like, no, it's my mind flipped it.
- 37:28Speaker 3: But I got it, Nan, he always does when she
- 37:34Speaker 3: doesn't she does.
- 37:39Speaker 1: What does Raymond want Dorothy to ask Sophia about her
- 37:43Speaker 1: teeth after dinner?
- 37:45Speaker 2: Fuck?
- 37:47Speaker 1: Oh, proud Daddy.
- 37:49Speaker 2: Leave them in her mouth?
- 37:52Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 37:53Speaker 2: I love that. That was such a great two parties
- 37:56Speaker 2: to pick her teeth.
- 37:57Speaker 3: I'll have her leave them in her mouth.
- 37:58Speaker 1: It was it was written perfectly because it could have
- 38:02Speaker 1: he could have said the whole thing. It was Dorothy
- 38:06Speaker 1: coming in knowing the problem that made that a successful.
- 38:09Speaker 2: Joe.
- 38:10Speaker 3: I have had multiple coworkers that do that after eating lunch,
- 38:14Speaker 3: and it's just it's just a weird thing to see.
- 38:17Speaker 3: You're just like, oh, okay, yeah, taking their teeth out
- 38:21Speaker 3: of their mouth to clean them.
- 38:23Speaker 1: I can see how Like if they're your teeth and
- 38:25Speaker 1: you're in the moment, right, You're probably like, this is
- 38:28Speaker 1: just faster.
- 38:29Speaker 3: Right, Like other people are a little taken back.
- 38:32Speaker 1: You're like, tell that thought back unless you're alone in
- 38:35Speaker 1: your home.
- 38:35Speaker 3: Lacing them in the sink.
- 38:37Speaker 1: Ah right, Yeah, yeah.
- 38:39Speaker 6: I already feel uncomfortable picking stuff out of my teeth,
- 38:42Speaker 6: like with a toothpick. Oh do you Yeah, if I'm
- 38:45Speaker 6: eating like lunch, dinner or something with somebody else across
- 38:47Speaker 6: the table, like I feel weird.
- 38:48Speaker 2: Yeah, taking around in there the whole mouth out.
- 38:53Speaker 1: Just use my nail and I hope no one's paying attention,
- 38:56Speaker 1: and I just try to like do it real quick,
- 38:59Speaker 1: and then I'm like nope, okay, that lives there. Now
- 39:02Speaker 1: I'll just talk with my mouth closed.
- 39:04Speaker 2: That gets a great round two.
- 39:09Speaker 3: But if you ever get a big piece out, you're like, oh.
- 39:11Speaker 6: Yeah, oh for real though, it's like between your teeth
- 39:16Speaker 6: and it's like causing pressure.
- 39:18Speaker 3: Yeah, you're like, oh, I got the whole thing out.
- 39:20Speaker 6: Yeah, young listeners at home, when you get older, you'll.
- 39:25Speaker 3: Appreciate I mean, anybody that has issues with their stuff
- 39:30Speaker 3: in their teeth.
- 39:31Speaker 1: Speaking of being old, where are your braceless kids? Who
- 39:34Speaker 1: does Sophia say she slept with in nineteen twenty one Kristen?
- 39:42Speaker 5: Okay, so at first she says Charles Charles the gall
- 39:46Speaker 5: that she meant Charles the male.
- 39:48Speaker 3: Yeah, Charleston is wondering how you were going to answer, like,
- 39:53Speaker 3: is this a trick question? It was if a person.
- 39:56Speaker 1: Yeah, if you had said if you had said Charles
- 39:59Speaker 1: to go, I would have said, no, you're wrong. So yeah,
- 40:02Speaker 1: all right, well you're onto my trickery. It's fine. I
- 40:06Speaker 1: know your tricks, Saron, okay, but do you know my treats?
- 40:11Speaker 4: Hey?
- 40:12Speaker 3: I know you spell like cupcakes.
- 40:16Speaker 1: I don't even.
- 40:18Speaker 3: Men love my cupcakes. You are, Dorothy. I don't know
- 40:24Speaker 3: if we got to that episode yet.
- 40:25Speaker 1: I don't think we did.
- 40:27Speaker 3: My cupcakes yeah, I.
- 40:30Speaker 2: Have to charge if you want it.
- 40:34Speaker 5: Takes bag.
- 40:39Speaker 3: The boys crazy, no random drunks, ladies go crazy.
- 40:46Speaker 1: Right in her dream? Who was Blanche trapped on a
- 40:52Speaker 1: desert island with m.
- 40:55Speaker 4: Kristen, Tom Selleck head dancing and Steve Gutenberg?
- 41:00Speaker 2: Oh that's berg.
- 41:03Speaker 3: I love Roche.
- 41:06Speaker 1: I love that she was so mad that she only
- 41:08Speaker 1: got to sleep with Steve Gutenberg. I feel like that's
- 41:11Speaker 1: Steve Gutenberg's like entire career. Well, but it's his entire
- 41:17Speaker 1: career has been reduced to almost a cock joke now right,
- 41:21Speaker 1: Like he's like the who's that guy again? Or oh,
- 41:23Speaker 1: is that the guy that was in the Tower of
- 41:25Speaker 1: Terror movie for Disney? Like all of the good shitt
- 41:27Speaker 1: he did is never remembered. He isla, sure, yeah, that's
- 41:36Speaker 1: he was in Police Academy. You're welcome, okay, cool, cool, cool,
- 41:40Speaker 1: cool cool cool. He Well, we we know who Steve
- 41:46Speaker 1: Gutenberg is and we were good. But who is Sonia Klingenhoffer.
- 41:53Speaker 3: H Gina a comic strip character?
- 41:57Speaker 1: Yeah, it's a comic strip.
- 42:01Speaker 3: Sixteen panels.
- 42:03Speaker 1: Yep, oh I didn't even do that this time. That's
- 42:06Speaker 1: all right, Okay, the next question is going to be
- 42:09Speaker 1: a bonus. I'm gonna reset the buzzers here and bonus question,
- 42:15Speaker 1: So no, no stump for me, and the most correct
- 42:18Speaker 1: items from this list wins. What is Sonia Klingenhoff or not? Kristen?
- 42:28Speaker 4: How a pig, a duck, a horse, or a pencil sharpener?
- 42:31Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 42:32Speaker 3: Or a woman?
- 42:33Speaker 1: Yeah? Well yeah, all right? Cool?
- 42:39Speaker 3: Disappointed you nailed it?
- 42:42Speaker 1: No, I'm not disappointed. I'm proud that you're so good
- 42:45Speaker 1: at note taking.
- 42:48Speaker 3: I'm pressed.
- 42:49Speaker 1: I was afraid to make that a real question because
- 42:51Speaker 1: it was quite a weird, varied list, and like, I
- 42:53Speaker 1: feel like the pencil sharpener immediately threw some of the
- 42:55Speaker 1: animals out of my head because it was so fucking.
- 42:58Speaker 3: Different a lot some bagels.
- 43:01Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah, Well maybe I'm just I have trauma
- 43:07Speaker 1: from what I've asked, actual full lists in detail. All Right,
- 43:12Speaker 1: we all know what the fox says, but what did
- 43:16Speaker 1: ding ding ding ding? But what did the crow say
- 43:20Speaker 1: in the joke? Kristen?
- 43:26Speaker 4: Why is your face pressed against the crack?
- 43:29Speaker 5: Yes?
- 43:32Speaker 3: I thought that crowds Okay, that's all my date said.
- 43:41Speaker 1: All right, here's.
- 43:46Speaker 3: I'm joking.
- 43:49Speaker 1: Fox Santa Cruz. But what what swung it for? Nixon?
- 43:55Speaker 1: In sixty eight mm hmm. Kristen two cheeks for the
- 44:01Speaker 1: price of one.
- 44:02Speaker 6: Yep, oh yeah, liposection, liposection fucking feefe fefee. All right,
- 44:12Speaker 6: that sounded what I was garbage on notes this time
- 44:15Speaker 6: I wrote down like all the things around t.
- 44:19Speaker 5: That's the hard IM Like, I didn't write.
- 44:22Speaker 4: Any of that down.
- 44:24Speaker 6: Yeah, like I wrote down Fifee Boulder, but I did
- 44:26Speaker 6: not write down your cheeks for the price of one.
- 44:31Speaker 1: Honestly, there was almost a question about Pinky Lee, but
- 44:34Speaker 1: then I was like, I feel like that's treading into
- 44:37Speaker 1: potential trivia, so I didn't.
- 44:39Speaker 3: Oh, I don't ever feel like I can't ask anything well.
- 44:42Speaker 1: And I was so very like I I'm always trying
- 44:45Speaker 1: to like keep it fair to not Kristin, but also
- 44:49Speaker 1: like keep it interesting to Kristen well, because Kristen's taking
- 44:53Speaker 1: copious notes, so I can ask the like giant lists,
- 44:56Speaker 1: and she usually has most of, if not all of
- 44:58Speaker 1: the things. But like wee James, you're getting to be
- 45:01Speaker 1: a seasoned player. But like when we have someone that's
- 45:03Speaker 1: never been on before, like I try to craft some
- 45:06Speaker 1: like simple but like maybe that person might pay attention
- 45:09Speaker 1: just so they don't go home feeling like fuck, I
- 45:11Speaker 1: suck at trivia, like I want everyone to have a
- 45:14Speaker 1: good time, and so that's why the questions kind of
- 45:17Speaker 1: move around.
- 45:18Speaker 6: So of all the lists in that particular episode, the
- 45:21Speaker 6: only one I wrote down was the list of ingredients
- 45:23Speaker 6: for her pancakes.
- 45:24Speaker 2: I did too, and she didn't mention it. I don't
- 45:28Speaker 2: like so I answered that one question.
- 45:29Speaker 6: That's the one point I got, and like I was,
- 45:31Speaker 6: I asked afterwards, like, do you want the the ingredients list?
- 45:35Speaker 2: That's what I got.
- 45:37Speaker 1: You know what we did? Did we get the scores yet? James?
- 45:40Speaker 1: Would you like a bonus point for the ingredients list?
- 45:44Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 45:45Speaker 1: Go ahead, you tell us what was in the pancakes pumpkin?
- 45:48Speaker 3: Yeah, right now, I don't know pumpkin.
- 45:54Speaker 6: Uh So it was honey, brown, sugar, whip cream, maple
- 45:58Speaker 6: syrup and that was it is what she listed off.
- 46:02Speaker 4: Yeah, okay, So James gets a bonus point. Yeah, got
- 46:07Speaker 4: So the final.
- 46:08Speaker 5: Score is Aaron zero, Gina two, James four, and Kristen
- 46:13Speaker 5: ten ten.
- 46:17Speaker 1: It's like the other two didn't watch the show at all.
- 46:21Speaker 4: Fuck off.
- 46:25Speaker 1: It's look, I don't know how fast Kristen's Internet is,
- 46:29Speaker 1: but like she buzzes so quick. She's so fast on
- 46:33Speaker 1: that buzzer. So either you're like sitting at home practicing, like, oh.
- 46:37Speaker 4: You're playing Mario Party.
- 46:40Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, Actually that's why that's why I went, oh,
- 46:44Speaker 1: because we have been playing Diablo lately and it is
- 46:48Speaker 1: a lot of clicking.
- 46:49Speaker 2: All right, My mind went with that double clicks or
- 46:53Speaker 2: I mean tat tat tap Abby.
- 47:03Speaker 1: Sorry, I thought she needed water. I heard tapping. All right,
- 47:08Speaker 1: would you like to do some trivia?
- 47:10Speaker 5: Miss?
- 47:11Speaker 1: Okay?
- 47:14Speaker 3: So this episode we had James Karen as Raymond. He
- 47:18Speaker 3: was in Return of the Living Dead awesome movie and Poltergeist.
- 47:23Speaker 3: Frank Smith was Duncan, which I believe was the guy
- 47:29Speaker 3: who picked up Sophia at the end. Oh okay, I
- 47:32Speaker 3: was his only credit, so hello and goodbye. Just this gentleman.
- 47:39Speaker 3: Stephen Porter was the waiter at the restaurant. He was
- 47:42Speaker 3: in Heart of Dixie. Okay. So James Karen also played
- 47:48Speaker 3: the greedy proprietor who causes the people of Walnut Grove
- 47:53Speaker 3: to blow up their town on Little House on the
- 47:55Speaker 3: Prairie rather than him take ownership. And I know you
- 47:58Speaker 3: love that show. That's why I included that for you.
- 48:01Speaker 1: He's a real piece of shit in that. To be honest,
- 48:04Speaker 1: they literally blew in real life, they did blow up
- 48:07Speaker 1: the town like the set. They practical effect blew up
- 48:13Speaker 1: the set. Because it was the end of the.
- 48:16Speaker 3: Series, I was gonna say a series finale. Yeah, Pinky
- 48:20Speaker 3: Lee had his own kids show in the nineteen fifties
- 48:23Speaker 3: called The Pinky Lee Show. I had never heard of that.
- 48:27Speaker 3: Dorothy mentioned CBS firing Jimmy the Greek in nineteen eighty eight.
- 48:32Speaker 3: January nineteen eighty eight, that was like a month before
- 48:35Speaker 3: this aired.
- 48:36Speaker 1: Oh wow.
- 48:37Speaker 3: He he was on an interview where he made a
- 48:40Speaker 3: racist remark that I will not repeat. So he totally
- 48:44Speaker 3: deserved it. Let's see, Charles de gall was a president
- 48:48Speaker 3: of Franz. Dorothy mentioned Wally in the Bee, which is
- 48:53Speaker 3: from the show Leave It to Beaver obviously, and Sophia
- 48:57Speaker 3: mentioned having a beat up face like Joe who was
- 49:00Speaker 3: a boxer, and that's all I got.
- 49:05Speaker 2: Good.
- 49:06Speaker 3: James tell us about Rose.
- 49:08Speaker 6: Oh yes, so Rose being the villain in this one.
- 49:12Speaker 6: I think that the way that Rose is a villain
- 49:16Speaker 6: in this particular episode is that she's trying to give
- 49:18Speaker 6: her friend's diabetes, like.
- 49:21Speaker 2: Straight up, right off the bat and.
- 49:22Speaker 6: Just trying to ruin their insolin levels with those pancakes.
- 49:28Speaker 2: I mean she didn't even list flour. It's literally just sugar.
- 49:33Speaker 2: That's just a gooey paste.
- 49:35Speaker 1: Well and truthfully, there's no chocolate chips in it either.
- 49:38Speaker 1: She'd never actually mentioned that as an ingredient.
- 49:40Speaker 2: Oh and did you watch her like quote unquote cooking
- 49:44Speaker 2: in that pan.
- 49:45Speaker 6: Okay, stand that this is the props person in me,
- 49:49Speaker 6: but like there was nothing in that pan. It's just
- 49:54Speaker 6: tapping the tip of that spatula around the pan. And
- 49:57Speaker 6: it bugged me so much. Like this bugged me more
- 50:00Speaker 6: than the woodpucks, hamburger patties or whatever it was that
- 50:03Speaker 6: they were grilling that one episode where they were just like,
- 50:07Speaker 6: oh right.
- 50:08Speaker 1: He started on the grill. Yeah, the cold ass grill
- 50:10Speaker 1: with the fucking bitches.
- 50:14Speaker 6: Yeah, the hamburger patties over with her fingers also, uh,
- 50:22Speaker 6: I mean, she's she cuts right to the throat when
- 50:25Speaker 6: it comes to some of her off handed comments. So
- 50:27Speaker 6: like when she says to Blanche that she's not gonna
- 50:29Speaker 6: win because it's all women on the panel, She's like, well,
- 50:31Speaker 6: who are you going to sleep with? Sometimes when a
- 50:37Speaker 6: woman and a woman really love each other, they become
- 50:41Speaker 6: the chairperson or do you think it be oh no.
- 50:44Speaker 1: Yeah, she's she's anti lgbt.
- 50:48Speaker 2: Q plus toubick little homophobic there.
- 50:51Speaker 6: Yeah, And I mean, how rude to bring up the
- 50:53Speaker 6: fact that this is the first guy that hasn't dumped
- 50:56Speaker 6: Dorothy after the first eight in the months years. I mean,
- 51:00Speaker 6: you really don't have to go that hard, Rose, but
- 51:02Speaker 6: I guess, you know whatever, and then.
- 51:04Speaker 3: Just be a real bitch.
- 51:06Speaker 6: I know this is just a personal thing here, but
- 51:08Speaker 6: like the fact she it took her five years to
- 51:11Speaker 6: tell this comic book strip. I was team Dorothy and
- 51:16Speaker 6: team Blanche, like get to the point, Rose, and then.
- 51:21Speaker 5: And she oversimplified follow them into the room and acted
- 51:24Speaker 5: out with sock puppets.
- 51:25Speaker 3: That I would have been okay with.
- 51:28Speaker 6: I would have rather had the sock puppets than whatever
- 51:30Speaker 6: that panel by panel was.
- 51:33Speaker 1: She did unlock some trauma for me when she was
- 51:36Speaker 1: talking about food and the braces and panel one, because
- 51:39Speaker 1: I was like, oh, yeah, that was hard to be
- 51:41Speaker 1: like twelve thirteen and get like bread stuck in your braces.
- 51:45Speaker 6: So a friend of mine that I've done some theater
- 51:48Speaker 6: and stuff with here in Portland, they mentioned that they
- 51:51Speaker 6: don't eat American bread, and I'm like, what do you mean.
- 51:54Speaker 6: They're like, it's cake bread, And it was the first
- 51:57Speaker 6: time I'd ever heard that phrase cake.
- 51:59Speaker 3: Bread like too sugary.
- 52:01Speaker 6: Well, well, if you think about like wonderbread or white bread,
- 52:05Speaker 6: that is like pretty common here in the US, Like
- 52:07Speaker 6: it's very caky and like if you press on it,
- 52:09Speaker 6: it becomes like super what's.
- 52:13Speaker 3: Their bread like?
- 52:14Speaker 2: Well, real bread healthier, is healthier? Yeah, and it's it's drier.
- 52:20Speaker 6: What do you mean That's right, it has more structure,
- 52:23Speaker 6: there's more a little more air in it, so that I.
- 52:26Speaker 3: Prefer my freedom bread James. Oh god, no, I'm kidding.
- 52:32Speaker 2: My bread doesn't have an aftertaste of pie fruitose corn. Sup.
- 52:35Speaker 2: I don't want so.
- 52:40Speaker 6: Yeah, Like when she said what it was, it was
- 52:42Speaker 6: bread and mayonnaise stuck in her braces.
- 52:44Speaker 2: Yeah, oh god, it.
- 52:47Speaker 1: Would have been like paste exactly that.
- 52:51Speaker 6: Yeah, and then you're yeah, you like suck on your
- 52:52Speaker 6: braces and then it's like kind of comes that like
- 52:55Speaker 6: toothpaste mm hmm, mayo bread.
- 53:02Speaker 2: So that is why I think Rose is the villain
- 53:05Speaker 2: in this episode. Hooray Jays, did it? You do it?
- 53:09Speaker 1: I'd like to introduce a news segment. Yes, James is
- 53:14Speaker 1: the villain of this episode because whoa. Well, you made
- 53:19Speaker 1: me think of the consistency of mayo and bread paste
- 53:24Speaker 1: in a way that made me make a face. No,
- 53:26Speaker 1: I'm just kidding. That's fine. That was that was well done, sir.
- 53:29Speaker 2: It's for all the listeners at home. Visceral visceral reaction.
- 53:35Speaker 1: Yeah, let us know how many of you gagged. You
- 53:39Speaker 1: can send us an email or you can retry out
- 53:43Speaker 1: to James. In fact, James, where could people find you
- 53:45Speaker 1: if they wanted to do so?
- 53:47Speaker 2: Yeah? Of course.
- 53:48Speaker 6: So if you'd like to find me personally on socials,
- 53:51Speaker 6: I my handle is Jane sharing Housen. My name's super
- 53:55Speaker 6: easy to find. Type in James and then start spelling

- 54:43Speaker 9: did get your cheesecake ready.
- 54:46Speaker 6: She's good.
- 54:47Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 54:47Speaker 9: And I didn't put anyone to coke zero in microwave again.
- 54:52Speaker 9: Oh goodness, that's called a callback.
- 54:58Speaker 4: Yes, Faby, good job.

- 55:04Speaker 9: But they thank you?
- 55:05Speaker 3: Bye bye, all right, we're out of here, Bye friends,
