• Doug Monero has been focused on being digital cash from day one and will never take. Just like Bitcoin will never raise its 21 million coin limit, Monero will never pivot away from trying to be a traceable digital cash. That's really the differences between the two cryptos. So as it went up in the samurai samurai, they were ranked software. They're actually both of them are currently in prison For running the software. So this is proof of the false software the asher daughter deaths took the software and they forked it and They are managing themselves. So while the asher got while these samurai guys are Waiting for their percents. So let's catch daughter. So this is just really a walkthrough It's very simple. If you've got an amper phone, you can download it's non iOS I think this because of uh, I mean he's got the iOS house door has a lot of restrictions So going through we've got free records. It's what kind of you'd be named your phone Torber Tor browser. He's All Connections run over a tour and then pet a paper dice. This is just to Yesterday we need a dice or at least from what I've seen, you don't need to interact with dice because use it to dare Educate so very simply there's a walkthrough. So how exactly will you be down in this? You know over tour browser go to Asher guard or rsi download and then you're down with the latest abk you don't need to go to an app store or you need to download it directly to your phone and Get rolling. So you want to verify the software just because this is a Bitcoin wallet So making sure that the Bitcoin wallet itself is non compromised So they've got a a PGP key that you can verify and make sure that nobody their religious party Got in between you and the download and made you install religious software. We'll go through questions later if you guys got questions So there's just another way to verify the is a little technical But it's how to verify the files make sure that you're downloading what is properly what you wanted out mode And you're not getting something malicious or some kind of virus. Let's just say or yeah malicious software. So you go to this hash Hype of file down online to the APK. So it's shot you free six We don't have to get it's exactly what all that means it calls right with the state hatch output right to try to make sure that matches the Numbers that says so it's only a sugar. You are gonna open the file manager. So That goes with after you've downloaded it. You want to go to the ash it auto a BK It's average call it open So if you're using Android this if you've been exposed to Android he was stood this is really the flow out words It come from iOS. This might seem a little confusing But the a BK is just external software Once you have downloaded you want to start to install it to install it and then open so now each wallet It is always connecting over tour So your connection your IP address is always hidden. So you open the app a token actually will be created now This is the bigger part is either select test then so if we're walking through this and you've never used it before Does that make sense? I mean if you're going through this let's say with me right now Doesn't make sense or you can select made it if you're just if you want to step big one So I'm okay that's have yes, right? Speaker 3 So moving on you're gonna create a new wall. There's a new wall file And it's gonna give you okay, so this how you're gonna make sure that you generate a password. So let's go back So we just see what we're at. All right. So yeah, you're creating your wallet You're you'll have your mnemonic seed your 12 words that you must save and secure and while you're doing this with your wallet It's gonna want to passphrase the passphrases an extra an extra password on top, right? And we'll get into exactly what you need to do with that password We want to make sure you secure and so with this passphrase this extra password on top It protects your 12 words if someone were to find those 12 words if I want to get a passphrase separate passphrase It you know somebody five to four words. They still cannot access your wallet. So this is like a 12 words, it'll be a 13-port or less. So and this create the pathphrase you want to create a Random lists, you know, and so this is why this gives the five dice just because humans are just very bad at Randomness, so there's the EFF long word of us you've been searched online Roll five die and if you could see in this picture There's a one-on-one. So let's say I rolled five die and roll one a one at two a one-to-one That corresponds with the word acorn so that you can go take the five die again roll it again Let's he rolled one a one a one a four or five that correspond to abs grass So this is suggesting that you would roll this five times you get five words And so your pathphrase will be those five words together So obviously there's some of you would save we're just walking through this but sports a bus would look like so next With created a pass we're going to make sure you enter each word how you're saying it with no spaces Tap checkbox tap next we're just walking through this So now vinc code those the 12 words that you're generating and the passphrase those the most important things you need to save This pass this pin code is just your local password. It's like go Just see it's it you want to save it or you want to know what this pin is But it's not if you end up forgetting it you would just reset your wallet and as long as you have those words Those 12 words and a passphrase you're good to recover this whenever so your creatives theme code With very cool is that the keypad actually randomized the number each time So you've got people that are let's say monitoring your let's say They're watching you from like a camera and they're watching your pattern in place Even if your pin is one one one one one the ones will switch it times They can't really tell that you're hitting the one the one spot see words I think these are the 12 C words that I was just talking about that you want to say this is what they're generating here So this is just similar to any of the Bitcoin one. You've got these 12 words They're your private key. You want to make sure you keep them I want to make sure you keep all the 12 words Probably make sure you save them down and you want to make sure you keep the order that they come in if you've been involved in crypto for any bit This is pretty standard. Speaker 3 So moving on so we're about half way through so long through making sure that we Just for people who just joined us. This is an Ashigaru one walkthrough So what Ashigaru what is it is a fork of samurai samurai was like the most private? Bitcoin wallets Available so this team this Ashigaru team They're anonymous developers and they forked the samurai software and they're managing themselves that they put it out to the wild for people to use and continue to Spend Bitcoin privately. So now like I said, we're about halfway through and Add to generate that passphrase. We've done this passphrase from rolling the fire die You it forced you to verify that you actually have that passphrase Hobby correctly, so you put into That that entry field what your passphrase is and it'll tell you that you actually have that so like I said You save your 12 words once if your passphrase as long as you got those you can Pull this up into other walls if they'd be if your phone is destroyed it gets taken You can still access your Bitcoin So if it matches the tab the blue arrow only that said that matches the software is really verifying it for you so it's you know, like as if this this is a walkthrough the Wall in itself is also walking me through. It's pretty simple. The UI and UX is is explanatory so then Into the big code you created if corrected it'll direct you to setting a wall for your a wallet for your dodo setup So now we're getting like, you know now we're getting like deeper. We're getting the weeds here So it's verified your pin the pin that you set up previously that works, right? So just being sure that you've got this and then next is you want to pair to a dojo when a dojo is now This is when I was first getting involved with like this mess around samurai wallet and now the ajigara wallet Seems a little confusing. So it's it's a node package. So if you're using electrum if you've used Fulcrum it's like those but it's a it's a node package to manage some of the very complex Operation that the ajigara wall or the samurai wall it does including like the mixing that was coming from Whirlpool So dojo is a separate package and so it's software to print yourself. You can run on a single board computer so if you've raspberry pies, it's not beefy enough, but if you're able to use a I guess some of these other beefy silver boards you can run in your house and self-host it So I'm gonna talk about another surface you can use if you do not run your own software You can't use this spoil unless you connect to a dojo. So this is the one thing that connect this node And what the like I said it Organizes your transaction like simply saying that what a node is doing itself to organize your transact or it's keeping track of your transactions and with a dojo or with these nodes why you want to run your own node is you can control the private your Your outputs and so if you're if you're kind of do a random node That's in public that's run by a lot of these nodes are run by change balance companies And so these change the balance companies Are you know, Speaker 3 they're correlating your IP address with your spans and they know this user is spending FY and see amount of Bitcoin And they also have you your I could spend patterns your hex pugs if you're wearing a technical But running your dojo creds that if you run your own software It stays on your node and you don't have to worry about it going to anywhere else so this isn't force which is like Sucks for you know, if you not have this if you don't have this kind of software available It could be painful, but there's a fix to this but also it's it it keeps you honest Which is I I think it's a good way to go about it. So so now that they just go back real quick Okay, so when you get that point when you're pairing a dojo, you're just gonna connect it Could you connect via a QR code? So you just have to scan it scan the code? Or this is scan a dojo bay a test a QR code. I'm gonna talk about dojo bay after this, which is a host of service So when you're pairing it's going to show you with the URL is if you are running your own dojo You you'll probably understand this but actually staying you've returned your parents great in the future You compared to a home dojo you said about different one you've actually so if you start out connecting to his dojo Bay Node just to you know, test this out. You can always just change the know they want to connect to And tap continue so I have these verified that so choose your backup directory. So how exactly want to back up this wall file I know you I mentioned before you've got your 12 words at pass breaks. That is your backup. This is just to also make it simple It's just a secondary backup. So you choose where you want to save this wallet that 65 I know this wall is encrypted so you don't have to worry about if Somebody gets if a random person gets their hands on the wall that TST file. They can't access your funds anyway So as long as you have your passphrase, you could decrypt that so as follow your back of the up your transaction notes and To use your backup. You just need a passphrase. So like I was sin Now I'm saying in the wallet if it's the first time you're using it should stick relatively quickly And it's like it's kind of over tor. Sometimes tor can be a little Wonky, but as long as you've got then you've never used it. It should sing but let's do quickly now pain him There's gonna be a talk after this that's gonna be something like that It's somewhat really like a variation of pain him, but it's just like a cool way. Speaker 3 It's that guy It's like what is what is uh, what is it? It's called. It's like a Well, silent aces is the other version of this. So being in his unique identifier you mean It's a very you it's like a unique all-strand characters and with extra very cool is you've got in here I think these are little peppies if you can't see in the little top right there samurai peppies And I think this one might be crying but to get soon It's just it's a very cool way for you to use Like a single string and it's it's good for like donations So I suppose if you've used the niche for Bitcoin you just couldn't static gathers anybody that is watching the chain Can't see how many fuck how much Bitcoin is going to that that symbol of string as close to if you're using pain in You've got this long string as long somebody else use pain here. They can sense of that and it is a Stealth address. It's a better as we're looking for. It's a stuff address on Bitcoin. So Yeah, so you couldn't lucky Like I said, these are little peppies. These are samurai peppies Obviously eight now with that if anybody else is using if other walls of infant paintings Like I said that you can go in then send pain of the pain in And you could scan very easy sir type your payment pain of settings expanding tools It's have the number of icons for details now. We're in the ball interface right now There's zero Bitcoin in there, but you could go and see and then you could this little plus for If you want to send receive a give addresses and now so this is just going this to cover the process of getting Test that Bitcoin is this for you test out the wallet itself tap tap applause for sees top address. Yes tap. Yes copy Okay, so and if you really want to go this presentation is gonna be online From the ungovernable missus team So I think a proton drive like that you'll be able to access so you could not use yourself at home if you want to And so this is how you want to get testing at Bitcoin and then enter the address you can type get Some test a Bitcoin and I'll give it to you and then now this just for pain It's never talk about get a top of a pain. It's like I said as you can see this Becky over here is angry So they're all of this legally. Uh, they're uniquely generates for your payment code. So to go Interact with paintings, like I said the world has to Implement pain of itself for you to pay from pain him to pain him and this is created by the samurai guys So and he carried over that by the ash guard team So tap plus sign tap the Scared me. Sorry tap paintings tap plus on again And now it's a skin. It's very simple to be skin a QR code or copy the long string of characters for the PM 8 usually And then you could just send funds directly to that and you can share your payments. Speaker 3 You could follow other You can follow other user. I believe for offline payments. I believe I as you might have this confused But you could fall and you have all sorry fault is only online payments, and I believe there's one where You can connect connected for all fine things that makes sense Connecting cause the fee so you can follow up other paintings people post it on their Twitter account under Twitter as a per handle or on a Twitter and or on their X account and You can go to send directly to it Or if you want to I believe if they have to get my it got been one for Steven as opposed to Connects you could send these payments while they're offline As you just go from there connects you pay a little transaction fee And then send transaction. So there are Different spectate techniques different types of spending techniques inside of Bitcoin Inside the ash bar wallet, so I just see connection Transaction done pending tap the send icon on the left pencil. Okay. Yeah, so if you want to go and send this right So we we hit right next to it. It looks like that Airplane or paper airplane Now you're off sensory. This is what the sensory looks like you could fill in Bitcoin or sats Authentify that sack cut the arrow do want to send and then transaction details are on the screen, right? I see as you see I don't know if we're gonna actually get it to rig a shade is a another spending technique Where it actually before it reaches your destination. It'll actually send it It'll do three or four hops. I believe that's with five months before I reach the destination so the transaction was a little more expensive, but the it brings that link or at least adds a little more of a Knowability where it adds a little more murkiness to the transaction and then it's ricocheting So that comes installed in the walrus a pretty cool tool to have Okay, so you have detail screen there five piece of information is there before sending destination. Make sure it's on the right spot fees how fast Which black you want to get into how quickly you want to get the transaction that type of? transaction possible alerts Notes notes you put yourself notes are just mogul Knows that you could write yourself and just for you to know who you're spending to and it says it's locally Perfect this issue could be an address pin in more batch of the all right details screen cap of fees you could decide how quickly you if You might load normal or the next block how quickly you want this transaction to be sent and the probability of again in the next block It'll tell you Because Bitcoin blocks are 10 minutes and depending on how what the Train like what the network traffic is You could you know you could wait a little while Most of the transaction right now are pretty low so via lower normal You should be good to get in the next 10 20 minutes and then Super and this power Okay, Speaker 3 so this is just going on this just what a transaction looks like temperature and extra box Singles a type that that is happening output shows three destinations where it's going so they're just breaking down where your decal screen would look like and 148 if you see here is the minor fee it even it's even labeled what the minor fee is and then there's an alert So it's going to tell you About spending heuristics. There's a when you're dealing with transparent chain like Bitcoin There's many details that this chain Change surveillance companies will use and so basically it tells you that the rounded sending amount you're sick It looks like oh, I just tell you this transaction includes a round amount It sure as it gets reliably used by blockchain surveillance firms to determine the same location and trade output so it's very easy for them to sort of tell what is the set amount or what is the What does it send them out? What is the sender's? Change amounts so with this they could tell who's setting who's the receiver of this and where where that change is going So it just warning you more or less like a listen You might be doing something that doesn't look great But you know, it's it's good enough. It's for anybody that's using especially that is especially the uninitiated and So more details for this would have been before you add a note when using backup that tip C file These notes will be recovered. So it's helpful if your phone is destroyed if you need a backup via the backup file These notes if you're paying for a beer at a beta, you know, this is labeled there So this works out the health of utf. So, you know your transaction Management both and it says right here node you're local to you and are not public to the blockchain or third parties That's what I would be worried about if I'm putting any kind of like nodes that are sensitive to me inside the app But these don't stable we're nearing the end. But just see okay, so just make sure writes and now sending that transaction Nice and easy use you can market as do as you can mark the changes do not spend This is just you know, it's getting so what Bitcoin transactions really look like on chain But I that's like a nice tool to have and then also just what it looks like whatever you tap hold slide the arrow Appear it'll appear that it's pending on your screen right there until it says Until it makes it the next plot one once it gets mine Then that transaction is not just on the chain, but it's perceived to be your sender So that's really it you've seen your first transaction in the future If you experiment with cahoots coin control back transacting ricochet and many other tools and features Bajagar. Speaker 3 Okay, so I'll just quickly mention As you go where itself like it says it has mentioned cahoots and mentioned ricochet ricochet I talked about where it's a transaction where descends it puts multiple hops in the tweet cahoots are collaborative coin join transaction, so It just a cool way that you and another party can go and let's say you want to pay to a third to Person C person a beat at stonewall x2 person a and B Could come can join do a transect that it it brings up this on a chain Nuristic that is like if you've got change found firms that are watching us They cannot really tell who the spender isn't and who the yeah who the spender is they because there's two transactions More or less coming together or two. Yeah two transects coming together And so they don't really know who the original is or they can't really tell it adds more Americanist on change just another way to add more confusion for These blockchain surveillance companies that are trying to figure out trying to analyze ever transaction So it's a very cool tool as long as you've got as you go or you could do this me and let's say I've got it I've got the wallet and somebody else has a wallet we can collaborate and spend to a third person and The only person be like let's say we're spending my funds person a wants to spend their funds to person C person B Can collaborate out of the more Birkin is and I send this transaction So I think it's a nice little cool tool. So I wanted to present on this so I believe that is at all So we've got just after this or we'll take questions If we got a question, but if not, we just keep it rolling because after that, okay, so any questions now, I'm not a part Yeah Doug We got a question if the original developers of samurai wallet. Well, yeah, it's like the stats It would matter like what did they go after them for? Speaker 3 Okay, so the question was, the original developers of Samurai Wallet, what are they being charged with, and what were they, what were, what is government coming up for? So, so, yeah, so they were, they were the one, so they were running a piece of software called Whirlpool, and Whirlpool was a, they, the governments, they let us make sure, but it wasn't a mixer, it was a, it was a, it's a corn join. So it was just a way for people to do their collaborative transaction, and they can bring, five people can bring their transaction together. And then on the other end, those like I come in with, I think five people come in with one Bitcoin each. We didn't come out with that same Bitcoin, but thing is adding this like murkiness, or like because they were doing this kind of collaborative transaction, it breaks up exactly where the origination point is of that Bitcoin. So, I believe they're trying to say that is, or right now I think they've been hit with conspiracy, conspiracy to commit money laundering, but the software is, was unhosted. So it was hosted software that helped to create the transaction, but they were never taking control of the fund. So that's the difference between, there are like darknet marketplaces that we're doing, they do mix it. We're mixing is you give them more Bitcoin, they take it and they give you different Bitcoin. And so that is, that's like a mixer. And so this technical, technical difference, but I believe that's where they're going after. I've met some of their, I've met their legal team. And actually, if you want to donate to the samurai defense fund, it's p2prights.org during they take Bitcoin. And there's been some good news recently, just even the past few days. They definitely are like victims of being targeted. And they're like really the only Bitcoin privacy project. There's other projects, but like these guys are, are they really cheap? It was like, he was a black box when he used it, it was, you still could see, you know, when they, when you spend transactions after it's still because Bitcoin transparently, they still see where the transactions are going after, but you can't see really what happens before. And that was just like that black box. So it was a very good tool. But they were in the process of also decentralizing that software where you speak, where they didn't need to run this kind of coordinators, it was a coordinator that they were running. And they were in the process of where anybody could have run it, but they got jammed up. So right now they're like on, I believe they're on house arrest. And I think the court case is in towards every year. And also, I'm not sure if it's just it, there might be other accounts that they got it with. But I believe that that sticks out. But yeah, if you want to know, actually, I'm wearing a free samurai shirt right now if you want to get that for the screen. But yeah, they're they were very based. They were very based like very focused on on Bitcoin and privacy. They were I met them a few times. They were they were stuff to see these guys put down. So it was nice to see, like, asher go up, come up Thursday for flames. Speaker 3 But yeah, those guys are death of global prisoners. So but yes, we're going into them. It's P2P rights.org. So moving on to that. Do you feel like that is your question? Nice. Any other questions? All right. If not, we can go up to the next presentation. So we're going to do a I believe we've got somebody from Cape Wallet. We've got success from Cape Fall. We'll do a national presentation. And then after this, just the agenda really quickly. I'm going to do. I'm going to come back out and do a foundation on bisque, which a Bitcoin DEX and RoboSaf, which is another DEX for lightning ball, Bitcoin stuff there. And then do you want to close out? What do you want to close out? Cool. Cool. Yeah. Yeah, we'll do that. So do you want to do it now or we'll close out with you. Speaker 4 Nice. Speaker 3 Okay, cool. All right, South Dakota, come on up. Thank you guys for your time. Adspace Do you love coffee and Monero as much as we do? Consider making gratuitous.org your daily cup. Pay with Monero for premium fresh beans and if you like what you taste, send a digital cash tip directly to the farmers that made it possible. Proceeds help us grow this channel, gratuitous and Monero. Speaker 5 Well, while talks is getting Speaker 3 getting set up. We've got a cake wall with so kinds of sponsor the events. So shout out to cake wallet. We've got free. I brought some passphrase magazine. They also are here. Actually in the so we got volume one to two, or addition one to two. In addition to I have a little article. So if you want to check that out, I think I've got the first one on there. So if you want to check that out, but feel free. Oh, we got stickers. So you can come grab whatever you want. We've got some sandwich stickers. It's more on the parts tools. So check it out. Also if you guys want to grab Speaker 5 Food or drinks use the code cake wall Speaker 3 and the drinks are on cake wallet, so shout out to Ben. Speaker 6 face. Speaker 4 All right. Speaker 7 And that's how biz open already right there are your caps over cool So get get some drinks hit some food or cape wallet. Um, hi guys. I am tuxedo. I Well, I've done many things for cape wallet for me. Similarly. I do UI design, but today I want to show you off some Really cool pricey features one of which is pretty unique to our wallet Within cake wallet. So just just to cover what capable is exactly cake. Well, it is Open source the real people is an open source Non-custodial private and secure wallet has lots of security and privacy features of its multi-platform of it has Several thick coin privacy features. It's got click controls shop swaths It's how of other currencies to bitcoins definitely one of our private area user bases And of course, it's open source. Oh, not a custodial. So you own your funds You own your keys your keys your points don't hold your Bitcoin out of a centralized exchange so one of the big problems in Bitcoin today is Kind of the need to reuse for address and it's not like you are the need to Doc reuse your address they need to create new addresses And it's not like you necessarily have to create a new address every time you receive on Bitcoin But it's a massive price a gallon grade if you use the same address every time because all those funds are linked to the exact same wallet address They're not separated at all and this this could be fine But this might not be ideal if you're in the scenario of let's say you're trying to host donation wallets And you just have one address that people are debating to and of course Bitcoin by default is really private alms Totally transparent and you could have one person donate Certain out of BTC into that wallet that's considered to be tainted worth dirty BTC and then if you try to use that BTC with maybe some sort of that does a nail checks later on the Entire wallet is now tainted and all the funds that were sent to that same address are going to be tainted And that's just really not ideal Especially if you're someone that's maybe you're just raising doing the fundraiser and eventually gonna take that Bitcoin you're gonna cash into an exchange You need to be able to do that And so a silent pain is really prevents you from needing to create new addresses every time It's said that new address is both thought and also maintain that same privacy Silent payments is a bit. Speaker 7 It's a bit 352. It's created by Ruben Thompson is originally a proposal and then eventually it Got true into its own bit Essentially, it's a reusable payment address So stealth address if you've ever used Monero, you may know it's still addresses are it's essentially a way that's Clients the setting client can generate a new unique average on tech chain every time And the address that shows them on chains different than the address you said what you've set to and it helps you really maintain that separation of privacy so basically what happens when you send to a sire payments address is The sender so in this case out us Alice is gonna take Bob's public key in his silent payment address and use that to generate a unique one-site address that shows up as a tap group address on chain and that happens every time a sender is sending to a Silent pain is address and it happens behind the scenes totally Transternally, you know, do you know what happens in that way every time that's Bob receives a payment to his sign I've famous address. They're not all linked together. They don't actually get sent to the same address You see the same sire opinions address But the actual address on chain is a totally unique taproot address So on top of that because it's just a generic taproot address Nobody knows that a silent payment transaction even occurred and the receiving is basically the opposite and this is kind of where you come Into some of the downsides of doing something like this When you are receiving silent payments, the client itself has to do a little bit of work extra work from what you typically have in a Bitcoin wallet to know what outputs on the chain belong to By silent it is at first and we want to my private keys So essentially the client is going out and grabbing blocks. It's checking its comparing against his keys It's private keys to see which ones belong to it and that does incur some performance penalty There is in process that has to happen. So within kickball specifically the top of the wallet They'll say scanning or synchronizing, which is basically checking all the blocks to see if there's a Transactions that contain a specific taproot output that belongs to it and there are ways that that can be filtered out to be more efficient But that is one of the downsides, unfortunately So basically silent payments itself as a very good privacy It's a massive privacy benefit with very little initial contact or no on chain contact required at all Unlike some other things that you could use a good user experience because it's very transparent You don't even know that it's happening. Speaker 7 All you're doing is sending to a what looks like it's for package type It's sp1 address But behind the scene, there's a lot we're going on The downsides are as at the transaction scanning can be intensive if you've ever used some other baby privacy wallets like like Monero You do have to have the same Synchronizing that takes place and it is a little bit can be a little bit intense at all the device can take some time Whereas Bitcoin users usually are used to just having electrum server and me you would give you All the fonts based on your address as in your balls, which is also a price cow rate So there is a cost in having some privacy and eventually we could have like clients at four for sire panels Where essentially you'll have the like trim server or a full crop server do that So it came with scanning for you Obviously as taking away a little bit of a privacy benefits because the server itself is gonna know what outfits marks you But you still have that on chain benefit of not really having all these transactions link to the exact same address And so it's a really it's a pretty simple way, but really clever way to allow you to use one address So like let's say you just want to have one a coin address like on your spare profile or on your website You can put a sign with a payment address and it's a lot more private way to receive funds to the same address So just having one segue from one tag root address So it's it's pretty simple, but it's a really cool way to basically implement a still bad address and Bitcoin So with it cave wall itself if you want to enable sign up payments It's pretty easy from the main wallet balance screen. You'll just have a sound king its card under the actual Balance card and you could just talk about on and it might switch to one of our other nodes that has better support for Scanning signup payments. It's a lot faster. It's using I think a custom full-prem server And then from the receive screen if you want to actually use set up payments You just go to the top and you tap the receive button then you switch to the signup payments address fight on here It says TSP 1 because this was a testnet wallet from like a year ago But you will have an SP 1 address and you can see it's a lot longer It's got more data and it's got that public key that the sender can use You got a much more denser QR code as well And then here's an actual signup payments transaction on the test that as you can see I'm a bullet space. It's just a Taproot transaction. There's no way to really actually tell it was a sign up things for action, which is cool Because if you're trying to can maybe maybe I want people knowing or like you don't want Entities being up the sensor silent parents transactions. It's literally not possible. It's just a taproot transaction So style payments cannot be set sir Just because you have used silent payments your your funds are not going to become like tainted or what that There's no way to know you actually used it, which is very helpful So the next feature now, this isn't out in the wild yet. Speaker 7 This is coming very soon. We are having a join Probably in the next I think I think the next update take from that but pay join is a little different for point joy in that pay join is a special type of transaction that tries to basically tries to break the Standard ownership curiosity if that happens when you send from one address to the other at before is typically when you're sending During Anderson Bitcoin, you've got one input which is from your address or wallet and usually you've got two outputs One is a change output once in the other user and it becomes very obvious Who actually sent that amount from the coin, which would be you the pay join Becomes collaborative where it makes both parties the center at the receiver both commit some inputs funds Which then distributes outward? So it makes it kind of makes it a lot harder to see who was actually sending to who and Where the funds were actually coming from initially the kind of always makes it look like it could have just been Somebody consolidating funds in their own wall in itself And so to enable page joining cake wallet, this might slight change But you would just go to the settings you type you'd open the the hamburger menu then you go to the privacy settings and then you would enable and then basic a toggle use page join and then once you go to The receive screen This would automatically be a page join QR code now this interface is going to change a little bit. We're going to make it more apparent That's it says pay join. We're going to have a ability to copy a toy court Oh and not just have to our code But because pay join works on top of a segment add this in a taproot address if you've been able to play join the TR code is automatically going to be a A joint QR code and any clients that don't support a joint should have filter out all the extra data and they should just getting regular segue or taproot address And as you can see in the transaction screen itself, you can see I did incoming page joint that was successful That was a test pay join Which did work of honest? I thought the one more slide page right? Yeah, page join is just another thing that you can use to try and Obscure the on-chain graph of where funds are going pay join can't be used alongside silent payments yet But you could use them sort of like a chase-in So you receive this on the payments address and then next thing you do Instead of just sending something morally you then do a page join and all these things Combined will really obscure the a transaction graph of where funds are going ultimately and then one other feature I think this is probably a pretty standard feature for Bitcoin walls at this point is coin control Cake wall as coin control. Speaker 7 So Another downside we're not really downside but a consideration of something like SAR payments is that it doesn't do anything else All it does is just allows you to more easily receive funds to one address So if you were then go ahead and spend multiple inputs that you got from multiple silent finish transactions Those are going to all be linked together on chain You can use coin control to avoid that and make that not happen by freezing certain coins And controlling exactly which which inputs you own that you want to use in a single transaction In point join our coin control is super easy to use on the send screen used open coin control and you can either select or Deselect outputs or you can freeze them all together if you want How put up you use very simple feature. I think pretty much all the grill walls have this but this is a featured king ball as well Yeah, and if you want to download or try out cable, you can scan that QR code that should open the defaults App store whatever platform to using or some of iOS and Android also Windows Mac OS and Linux Couple those own beta, but I recommend trying it out on the mobile devices because that's the best experience. Yeah any questions Speaker 4 Oh, one. Doug What's the difference between your reputation by control and say Speaker 6 Tracers, here's your show. Speaker 7 I From a technical standard point. I don't think there's really any difference. It's probably just interface If you're if you're just freezing if you're freezing one of your coins so like basically how it works in kinkball is that you'll if I'm controlling you and If you just des like select or deselect so like that one's here right there It's selected if you were to unsweck that that's not a persisted setting if you were to tap on that coin itself I don't want another tree shot be tapped on it Then you toggle to freeze then it would persist and we froze it until you manually want to unfroze it again So that's like a secure like that would never be sensed with a transaction unless you manually go back in and then podlet That's makes us Doug All right, I got two fakes. First of all, I've been using K-Gwa for a couple of years. Yeah, I like it. Two things, the Monero is very slow to, wow, catch up. One of the people from Pirate Point, as you guys know, you guys took this Pirate Point. I also got another coin, I want to get lists to leave you guys as possible. But the center fic is, you had a gift card functionality a while back. It was really good, I really liked it. And then it disappeared. I guess that maybe the regulation changed under there or something. And if you plan on it, Speaker 7 bread in that body that's a good question um i can't answer on the the other coins unfortunately but the question about so he asked about cape a we send a feature where you could buy gift cards directly inside the wallet so it would give you a QR code almost immediately as soon as it detected that trend action it would give you a QR code of the gift party box so you could be essentially at the checkout of like chipoli or something your total comes up you could put in the exact amount and you would get that within seconds um unfortunately that we had to shut that down because the provider shop working with us if our provider they got out crypto entirely uh so that was out of our control but i can gladly say uh similar feature slash functionality will be coming again soon i can't say when or specifically but we are working towards that again uh but right now you can't buy cards still in the cape wall i just have to go through these specific portals it sends a link to your email and you open the length and you put in that code and then you have a card it's not as convenient but we'll have cards inside cape wallet again uh hopefully any other questions nope all right thanks guys Speaker 6 Push. Speaker 5 Thank you, ducks. Thank you. Speaker 3 All right, I'm popping back up. I've got another presentation on bisque. So show hands here who's who's used bisque or who's heard of bisque. Nice. Okay, we got some bisque users in the house. Speaker 5 Alright, so if you've used this before, then you might, uh, uh, you, this should be familiar to you. Speaker 3 but for the new people we will still walk through okay so if you've ever used has anybody ever used you don't actually need to raise your hand to this Speaker 5 But if you if you know of Speaker 3 thing software, if you've ever used Napster. Napster was like the dawn of it, but it was a period period. So, what made Napster, what made file sharing so like great, you could access this, but it was coming from a centralized service, which is why it was very easy for whoever it was that was hosting Napster to be sued or get arrested and be shut down. So soon after, you had other, you had been touring, you had other file sharing protocols that came together, other peer-to-peer protocols. And with this, you now, if something were to happen to, I mean, if you want to take this on the internet, because it's all just peer-to-peer and just file sharing from one device to another, you could not shut down unless you actually went after each computer and actually manually shut it down. So, it's it made it more or less like the Hydra. So, BISC is model office. So, it is a decentralized exchange. So, you run software on your computer. So, if you're running a BitTorrent on your computer and then you can make the exchanges. So, instead of using an exchange like Coinbase or Kraken, this is just a way for you to, and it's Bitcoin-denominated. So, this is the base token is Bitcoin, a base pair. Okay. So, what it is, it's free and open source software, build up Bitcoin peer-to-peer, runs on top of Tor. So, you've got that privacy aspect. So, it's not a company. So, it's a decentralized autonomous organization, a DAO, and it's primarily Bitcoin to fiat or vice versa on offering. So, you might wonder how exactly did you get fiat on chain? How does that work? Okay. So, we'll get to that. Okay. So, if you compare this to Coinbase, HODL, HODL, or local cryptos, I don't know how much traffic global cryptos gets anymore, but you've got a fiat to Bitcoin. I mean, this checks all these. No KYC, peer-to-peer, decentralized, 100% self-trust, no centralized database, open source. As you can see, no KYC, no centralized database. You can understand why privacy, why that is a benefit for privacy. Coinbase, and only this, if you have the Bitcoin or a model HODL, there's a few of these on a local cryptos. You can see that. Okay. So, no KYC disown in a minute. Nobody needs to wait for approval from a central authority. So, if you're ever onboarded to an exchange, you know that you got to give them your ID, got to give them facial recognition up your face with your, holding your ID with the date and whatnot. So, this is a perfect trend or trophy for attackers to get access to. And the idea is that it's to, you know, to prevent value of money while in great. I don't know what that may, but it just, it's the idea is to, you know, is it called the safety to keep you safe? That's why we need all your identifying information. But this, you don't need to worry about that because it just saw where they used to endow the software. You know, in any verification, you don't need to plug your ID at your computer. That de-sexualized trading takes place on a global peer-to-peer network for users running BISC on their own machine. Speaker 3 So, you can only trade to other BISC users. So, you need to have BISC. If you want to use BISC, your recipient also needs to be using BISC. So, of custody. So, BISC never holds your funds. The positive are held in to your Baldi SIG to encourage safe and secure trade. With BISC, I believe there's a lot inside the application. So, but you got to seek the lot. BISC, there is no BISC major entity. So, BISC, the entity cannot access your funds because there is no BISC entity. So, funds are held on the application. Brighter, you're part of the data store locally on BISC and it's never sent to a central server. Every BISC note is tor-hickered by default. So, you can understand, like I said, how this all makes sense. Sort of what I just mentioned. Open source, BISC is open source, and the public strategy is discussed over there. You're getting up just to show how exactly this software develops. It's not black box. You can see everything. You can see how the code operates. So, you could verify that your information isn't being siphoned off. Okay. So, now this is where it gets where I was mentioning before. How, Doug, did you get fiat on came? Okay. So, people in whatever country can buy and sell Bitcoin using country-specific payment method. Your overseas SEPA, National Bank Transfers Revolue, wise, face-to-face and cash by mail. So, you got that ability. There are users that are up there that you could interact with. And then, like I said, you could use what they sell. Now, there is just a one thing I would say just to add is that if you're using Zelle, your recipient does get access to your name. So, there is that. But it's not a great store on a centralized server. It's just going to the one person that you're paying your receiving from. So, there is that to consider. Although, you also have the ability for face-to-face and cash by mail. Okay. Using BISC. Now, when it's all BISC, very easy from the weather side. BISC.net, record from GitHub. Back on the wall, see some words, create a payment account, and do a trade. It's that simple. Now, BISC fees, then there's just some fees that are there. There's major mining fees, major mining fees. You could find this online. But there are just, there are some trigger fees. Bigger fee is 1.15%. Bigger fee is 1.15%. I believe this BISC has a DAO themselves. And I assume those fees are going to the DAOs. The main thing is that the software is soothed, is where these fees are going. Okay. More resources. BISC website. BISC could find everything on BISC.network. BISC YouTube for walkers, GitHub, and Matrix. Matrix is another solution you can use at Matrix.to. BISC. Bitcoin. Kyoto. Okay. Live network. We're going to skip the demo Q&A. All right. That's it for BISC. So that BISC-1, there's actually a BISC-2. So BISC-1, to do a trade, you need Bitcoin in the first place. So if you never, if it's your first time getting Bitcoin and you never bought Bitcoin, how do you get Bitcoins? I miss. So I believe with this too, and also correct me if I'm wrong, I'm going through this, but I believe with this too, you've got to build it to do small trades with. Speaker 4 Bond you more or less don't be too. You don't need any bitcoin To get to do a small trade and then once you get a little bit of it more than you did so Speaker 3 I'm going to go into the second, uh, uh, after before we go, we'll do just any questions. And then if not, I'm going to go talk about this too and RoboSafs. So if you maybe buy an up course and you want to hold up, then either hold up and let me just switch off. Give me one sec. But in the meantime, uh, does anybody have any, this specific question that they want to get out the way? No. Okay. Cool. All right. So. Speaker 5 Let us start this one and okay coolio all right, so we're here keep your coin Speaker 3 this and RoboSats, so now show hands or not. RoboSats, who's used RoMoSats? Okay, nice. Okay, so got people that I've been relying on. Speaker 4 I got another question that I'm not a can be sure on. Speaker 5 Alright, so this is comparing both this and ROASAT. ROASAT. Speaker 3 works. If you interact, if you mess around with lightning, if you use lightning to pay for hot dogs or uh some lizzies or some uh burgers or some brews then uh giving you the rules that too far more uh bitcoin on lightning. So this is more just looking at both free open source software both of them build on bitcoin. So this can be sort of similar to the other presentation brought on top of Torx. So they both are on top of Torx. Now there's every not no batteries. Okay so I'm dealing with a very uh very elite crowd. So if you're on Torx or it hides your IP address uh you get the decentralized organizations that are managing it, partner with bitcoin and fiat. So primarily one uh if you go cash to bitcoin or bitcoin to cash on off ramp. So it's nice to have these kind of solutions or these kind of uh yeah this kind of software for people that really want to stay out of like the exchange systems. You've got these kind of solutions that exist and listen the volume this isn't as simple or it is as easy as the exchanges. The exchanges are simple but of course there's a trade-off with using these exchanges as you sell your soul. So with these you know the the transactions might be smaller, the fees might be a little higher but you've got that uh security of you know knowing where your data is going and keep it in control of your data. So benefits of peer-to-peer exchange. Okay this is looking at this good robosats versus a normal exchange. Like I just mentioned you got the ability to fiat to bitcoin or vice versa but this robosats once again it's just similar to the presentation I just did uh no KYC peer-to-peer decentralized ons and self-custody no centralized authority and it's open source right we like that. Okay so big word has attended a peer-to-peer electronic cash system as we have it over there it just this is the white paper from Satoshi. Let's read that first line of purely peer-to-peer version. Eh let's stop right there purely peer-to-peer version that's all we need. All right cool I know again Speaker 5 Get started in minutes, no need to wait for approval from the central authorities. Speaker 3 nice don't ask for permission okay decentralized nice okay self custody right never give up your funds there's escrow transactions to encourage safe it's in your training now robo sets is there I'm unsure is there a third party arbitrator Speaker 4 I'm not sure. I'll use this really. Roblesnack time to do a piece of the album. Okay. Speaker 3 Yeah, okay, so I'm unsure maybe just this use escrow transects occurred maybe there aren't so I know bisque one head Or I remember years ago then on theta Speaker 4 Their monitor near so if you like have a problem with your trade Speaker 3 Okay, they're on B&E here since you're a problem within your trade. I heard they're trying to move away from, or trying to have the B&E here as more hands-off. Speaker 4 Yeah, nice people chainsaw. Speaker 3 Yeah, I remember years ago it wasn't as handjawed, and I think it was like you're on this puppet tumor. I assumed the reason that they wanted to go away from it was with this tour of the lifts. And like you went, and it sounds like, yeah, I don't think the media is really incorrect very much, which is a good thing, I think, nailed it, that it's more smooth. But you've got these kind of media that you're doing to take a tour to multistake, they might have acts to warn the keys, and they're the ones that are signing off to a Robert transaction to go through. But they're there as a blast stop. But they can't steal your funds. So I think while you're doing this, they're kind of multistakes. So private both use Twitter through good privacy. This only sort of data literally allows creation of ephemeral identities. Speaker 5 let me hold up bisque just so we can I have pretty nice one setting I just want to have this pop up and Speaker 3 background all right cool so open source do one get up like I mentioned so the code is available so once again you know you lose funds are not your your data is not getting psyched enough by third parties hated methods like I said national bank transfer revenue wise face-to-face at calf by mail and US postal order US postal orders is a pretty novel little solution but yeah check it out it's a it's a it's available and yeah just another one more option if you have to use I mean I think the 21st century I don't know how many of us have used your plugs the money orders but uh it's uh it's a pretty funny yeah I'm glad I spoke to this alright moving on it's via sorry popped up Speaker 5 Okay. Speaker 3 One we saw Speaker 5 this rue could have moved Speaker 3 this too, so it's So both of them because this one the software is just out there in his life And I just do his life and you would still use this one But you also the about uploads download and install this to from the website So and now there is like this easy wizard you could do a trade it It's more symbols more dudes are friendly so this I believe this one was Created 2014 so this I feel this is just a few year this two just came out I'd say 23 so there's more recent and it's there's a still it for it's like easy mode It's just easier for people that are and I'll show you I'll do a little demo just so you'd see Okay, you need promo sets so I guess at this this too is what does the taxi think at this one? Does really not many different, but there's just slight Differences, but it's still all Bitcoin focused layer of the L1 Bitcoin Roller sets open up one of the bro was that's a parking place a tour browser, although I'm desktop So we just you go to a what? Speaker 4 I don't know if you can actually host rollersats, but I know you use apps to beat the website. Speaker 3 generating a new robot, you've got a unique robot, and I think they suggest for privacy purposes, you should always generate a new robot. And okay, so the useful differences. So this one, what we just went through. Okay, yeah, so on chain, desktop app, skill level advanced, you can, you can monitor where you drew it, but there's guides online. But 2014, there's SVRF, SVRO and reputation. So it works with reputation. If you're a trader, you'll get, you know, people who are very well at Amazon, or eBay, and then 24 seven offered, we need the app open this to simplify office, you got your on chain or lightning, desktop app, it's there was an app, skill level is beginner, established, it was created 24. So last year, securities based on reputation only always so you're always need the Apple, but my guess closings don't work. And then bro, it's that slightly focused toward browser, intermediate, it's not super new, but we're also find a way through it. It was in 2022, there's escrow servers and 24 seven, it's always available 24's and call offers. Okay, so the one thing is with bisque, like I said, it's it's it's clunky or software than enough that a central is exchanged, right? So lack of liquidity. Speaker 5 There's not there are by Bitcoin on there, but it's there's not like the deep liquidity they get on corn baits Speaker 4 It requires patients and places of trust in enough anonymous peers. Speaker 3 there's ways that people try to, you know, that we get around this with reputation, uh, or with what you have to use those mediators. So there are ways, you know, if you're to meet a random person online and just send funds to them, it's this, there's ways that we can still try to figure out that this tries to be able to, uh, also software complexity. So this was all the building that not just this, but also real success, but then software complexity and, uh, personal responsibility, you know, this, we got to get in our own hands. If you're looking for solutions, right. You need to understand what he's out there doing. You're sending digital internet money to random people on the internet. So you want to make sure that you understand, do your due diligence, uh, before you go start sending a ton of farms. So more resources, uh, great resource. If, if anyone wants to sign up, I think it is kykycna.nde is a great service or they just have a different type of privacy preserving option for people to use. And there's a few, uh, soft, all the software that we talked about today. And I will talk about is on there, uh, learned about robots at that county, just, uh, the robots that documentation, uh, Israel was at down. So as you throw this asset down, it's all over for robots. That's the bisque wiki for bisque. There's that wiki, this dot network in it, the bafirs. And so, uh, we've got a live demo Q and a, uh, it'll, uh, we just meet. Okay. We just do this. And then just to show you guys, and then that will, okay, it for me. All right. So I've really good business with this too. What's the open? This is what I wanted to open to do. So this is live right now. This is like real business software right now. I just can't really see it, but you can see different offers. Speaker 5 That's counted, so I'll just... Speaker 3 see. Okay, I'll read it for you guys. We'll go from there. So okay. How a bow is sending by record amount $244 worth settlement that is looking for is on show it's on shape, we're using it for wise. So if you these are wise, you go and filter by your payment process, like how you want to pay if you want to do face to face, but of course, it's basically meet the meat, face to face. Or your CPU that do cash by mail, and you don't look up or see what this says. So sell the corner of ads if you want to sell big one, he's looking for big one, you can create offers right here. Okay, just really quickly. So maybe it's a bit easy mode. So getting started, it shows you read the trade guide, watch a video, start trade wizard or open the offer book. Now you've got the offer book users. It's very simple for you to read and see. You just got all these different offers here. This just your nine offers for US dollar. There's four offers for the euro, some Brazilian rail, you got two offers and then it learn, you can learn about the reputation system, you can also buy their way to give reputation. But doing that just like here, it's some game theory of you burning tokens, and it meets you got it more. You burn colored coins and show that you have no value states. This is the because you spent X amount of money for big brain key. Oh, I just want to see open trades. Okay, and let's go to create an offer. Let's see how I want to buy Bitcoin. And okay, let's put the amount that I want to buy. So a range of from 300 to 600 bucks, bearable price relative to the market price will do one and a half percent. Now, what am I looking for? If I'm looking for XMR face to face and zelle. All right, and then we go right there and we create offer and if anybody is interested in doing any of those methods, so I'll actually go back and I'll add what you amazon, you get the card, this deserves everyone to go to my Amazon account. So we've got that. So you've got the ability to go and say I want to I want $600 worth of Bitcoin at wherever this rage is. And you can go and somebody can take that off or I create the offer and we'll be good to go. So that this too, like I said, is much simpler. It's not as as you see my rage here pretty low. Oh, zero. But yeah, once once I create some offers and take some orders, people will you know, look over it. So that's pretty much it on this to RoboSats. Oh, I should edit to dojo Bay and then have that I'm gonna have Doug close it out. So one thing I mentioned previously, one sec do this is I mentioned dojo Bay and dojo Bay is a dojo software. We need to show you this real quick. One sec. All right. Yeah, I mentioned Speaker 5 dojo bay before show you okay this craze Speaker 3 All right. Well, one final thing. So we're talking about wearing a dojo. If you want to use the Asher guard, what the dojo software, if you're not wearing it yourself, you need a dojo. And now this dojo is a pretty cool or this website dojo bait PW is a way that people from the community are running their own dojo nodes you can connect to. So there is just to know there is a little bit of trust or there's trust here in these guys who are running the dojo providers. It's not going to a random chain surveillance companies, but potentially they could. These guys could then just still be getting your Xbox. But if you're if you know, if they've been in the community for they've been vetted more or less, they've been in the community for a while and you want to connect to a great picture tire Davis. But if you want to connect them, you can and then you could just run your Asher guard software using their node. So it's like a very simple way for you to start with Asher guard straight up and get on. So that's something it's a very cool project run by a lot run by some people from the samurai Asher guard community. So check it out. Dojo Bay got PW. Yeah, so we get in there and then I'm going to have our question. Doug You said, if you want to know, yeah, you get like a Speaker 6 Leave it from it. Speaker 3 The question is, if you run a note, you get any payments or rewards through the Bitcoin notes? No, it's just transactions. They're running an error note, same thing. They're jaygalitep, sir. Exactly. So this actually runs Electra server, but there's also some other things that it does because of what the wallet software, the wallet software is pretty sophisticated, so it needs a bit more than just the Electra server. It's also the other, like, key transactions. Doug We might be using a meteor when Alpha has to see you guys Speaker 3 The question is, should you be using a VPN when you're accessing these? I would say, if you're connecting over Azure Power, it's over tour already, so you're good there. Now, if you're worried about going to a website, I think as long as it's a Redvpool VPN company, I'd say it's probably a good fit. Speaker 5 Will you be able to get a representation? We'll take it off. He's the buddy guy. Yeah, the buddy guy. I think he's very suspicious. Alrighty, Doug would you like to come up? We've got Doug coming up. Thank you. We've got Doug coming up. He's going to speak to us about what he's been working on. Doug Alright guys, what's going on? What's going on? It's my first time at Cupcake. I'm a- I'm a local. I'm a... Queen Swam-metal local. But I've never been to Cupcake. You been here for? Here. Here you are. I play- I play- I play at this play gear. Why aren't there no pirate chase stickers in the bathroom, bro? You know. You're not doing the job. You know. No Venera stickers. You know, they'll stop taking that. Aight, is that what's going on here? Alright, they're- they're censoring- they're censoring stickers. Literally what happens here. Am I the first Venera, like, outright Venera guy on stage at Velfyr? Am I breaking your ground here? I come in peace. I come in peace. I was a Bitcoin maxi back in the day, so like totally relight. And now I'm arguably a Venera maxi. I'm a digital cash maxi. I'm interested in digital cash aspects of cryptocurrency. I currently think Venera is doing that better than any other crypto. Mostly because it's being most adopted for that purpose. I think it's doing a good job and actually being used for those purposes. And that's what I want to talk about today. Specifically, I want to talk about one of the projects I'm working on. I got a lot of different projects. I run the VeneraTalk YouTube channel for streaming live right now. I've been doing that for many years. If you go watch some of the older episodes where I'm debating BTC maxis from back in the day, talking about the lack of fungibility in Bitcoin and all this stuff. But these days, I just really try to focus on growing VeneraAdoption. So I run a Venera conference called VeneraToria. We have an event actually coming up in... We're doing a met at Porkfest. At Porkfest, if you met any of you here in Oak Porkfest. It's happening in New Hampshire in June. It's an awesome time. It's a lot of the early Bitcoiners came out of Porkfest, Roger Bear. He was really where crypto was first used. People went there to actually... Before it existed, they were hanging out at Porkfest. They'd meet up and use gold coins, silver coins. So when Bitcoin launched, it was literally one of the first places where people were using it, accepting it. So now I go there, I hang out there. There's a lot of vendors there to help accept Venera. Pretty much any vendor at Porkfest accepts crypto, also accepts Venera. So yeah, let me... There's other things to mention before I talk about XMR Bazaar. Yes, the Veneratopia, Veneratopia.com. If you are interested in going to the Veneratopia conference, check that out, Veneratopia.com. I do the Veneratopia show every Saturday. Let me be Eastern. We stream it live. Get the Venera talk show basically once a week. I interview somebody regarding Venera. I have another project called Venera of Nodo. It's a plug and play Venera of Node. Very cool project. Well, we have XMR chat. It's a way to send tips in Venera, like Superchats, right? So those that are watching live at all, they could be doing it right now. I'm not able to check the chats, but it's a way to send Superchats peer to peer with Venera. Doug That's another cool project I'm involved in. Yeah, the one I'm most excited about is XMR Bazaar, actually. This is a really little rubber hits the road. So XMR Bazaar is basically, it's kind of basically like a Craigslist, but Venera-maced. So if anybody remembers Craigslist, Craigslist is so round, it's by like the oldest brand. Is that how you open Bazaar? It's, well, it's not. So it's not decentralized, right? So you don't run a client. It's not unstoppable in that way. There is a server that's running that's hosting XMR Bazaar. On the face, for better or worse, of XMR Bazaar. But it is career dear. So all the transactions that take place are completely career peer. They're all Venera-based. When you send Venera, somebody's selling you, you know, selling a bicycle. And you go to send them Venera. The Venera is going directly from you to their wallet. It's not going through XMR Bazaar in any form or fashion. And we do that because one, that creates a truly peer-to-peer marketplace. So there's no middleman. And two, because we don't want to be labeled as a money transmitter, right? And then we'd be shut down from jail, whatnot. So we're trying to keep it legal. This is a complete clear net. You know, it's not a dark market. It's for legal goods and services, just like Craigslist, right? You can go on Craigslist, you post whatever you want, as long as it's a legal linear jurisdiction and a person that you're dealing with. So we have all different types of posts popping up there. So yeah. So it's peer peer. All transactions are direct from a buyer to seller. There's no transit. There's no fees. So there's no fees to list. So it's very accessible. You create an account. It's just the user. You can be complete ADA, just the email and the password. And we don't even require an email. Just the user name and the password. If you email it. In fact, you can connect, you know, your signal, actually, and session and simple X as well. So you get the notifications. But yeah, no fees to list. There's no transaction fees when you're sending a transaction. And there is a built-in messenger. So when you sign up, when you log it to the first, I'll try to click on the messenger here. This is a phone that I don't normally use. So I'll log into my account. It's asking me for my, basically, for my mnemonic, for my PGP case. So we built PGP into this. Pretty good privacy. So it's a messenger built-in to this. So all the messaging that's happening on here is also peer to peer, essentially, between you and whoever you're talking to. So we, as a platform, had no access to your messages. We can see your messages. It's defense come to us and asks us. We want to see all the communications between these two parties. We have no data to give them. We don't have any data in terms of messages. And that's also even in terms of how people are communicating when they place an order. So even when they put in their shipping address and whatnot, that's all PGP encrypted between you, the buyer, and the seller. Doug So we don't get any of that data. I'd show you the messenger messages that I don't have my mnemonic to paste in there. But it's as simple as pasting in your Bitcoin seed, right? So that is the one thing that may be a little bit cumbersome, right? So when you create an account, username, password, and then you also have to save this new mnemonic if you want to always have the access to your messages. If you lose the new mic, you could still create a new one and be off the running again and messaging where you'll lose all your old messages with that new like. So that's the only thing that's maybe a little bit cumbersome in terms of user experience of what people would normally be used to. So I guess I'll just kind of like kick you guys through some. There's a bunch of listings on here where we have almost 3,000 listings, which is super cool. And we've launched, I don't know, eight months ago or a year ago. There was a competitor Banero market, but they just announced that they're shutting down. They were a little different too. They had the Banero essentially going through them and then they were charging a fee. Once again, we don't need that. So it's probably, well, how do we make money? Currently, I don't make any money off of this. I am just funding the development, but I'm hoping to add features that will create revenue. So we'll never charge for listings. We'll never charge transaction fees, but we'll do things like charge you to boost the post if you want to promote your post. We actually have that built out. We just need to launch that so you'll be able to pay to boost your posts. We have other features on it too that we're hoping to make revenue off of. But yeah, let me let me go through this so like I see it. There's a macbook for sale There's this guy He's selling Gruyere cheese actually one of my favorite purchases so far next to my bazaar Has been cheese. I bought parmesan cheese for the guy Italy for like a small farm you know not all parmesans is a guys it's You know, it's like wine it varies All right, and it depends on where you get it from the farming and from that's hard Don't she's ever out of my life. She's been on and it was purchased with a canal set the guy to me now I got cheese in the mail. I ordered like we got a five kilos of cheese cup party John cheese I eat it every day super. I I think it's super healthy actually, but I won't give it to that So here's guy. He's selling Gruyere cheese I would if I was using my this is my other phone over here if I was using that I would literally Walk you guys through to make a purchase because I do want to buy this cheese. I'm checking it out before Some guy looks like he's like actually in Switzerland. He talks about it. I was for a gag this that so it's like I'm buying She's direct from a guy who's into cheese in Switzerland. I'm using Monero to do it I'm sending him the digital cash appear to peer. Nobody knows I bought the cheese Like our book and we'll declare it's like you're not buying drugs I cheese like Maro need to hide when she's versus is the source I need to hide It's like like, you know buying things for cash, right? Doug We want First of all, just you know on an ethical level Like why is anybody need to know that you're buying cheese and then just it empowers us, right? So it doesn't allow any corporation or any government to be a middleman to that transaction whether they're surveilling it Just trying to gain data over the fact that you're somebody who's into buying cheese Or they're trying to extract value from you for my way of a transaction fee or a tax Whatever they be so it brings back a digital cash economy and now I've been buying my cheese Nobody needs to know I bought it the person that received them in L Nobody knows that he received an arrow for cheese and there's a lot as you could imagine There's a lot of value that can come out of that's not just about buying cheese, right? So Yeah, all different types of boys coming about you know going on out here Keep us all cheese people listed. This is probably my favorite place on my favorites Somebody from a sort of they're selling land in Binghamton, New York We had the guy lime on the narrow top for the last week from stopping about his land He's selling 16 acres off state, New York for eighty five thousand dollars. They're digging to I mean, that's That's a dream come true. That is why I started a smart bazaar I want to be able to buy you know, my property directly with with my digital cash Obviously something like that right here. You have to you know, it that's not completely off the radar right here at the title All right, this could be but still there's advantages to be able to use cash Especially digital cash to buy a thing like that. So very excited about that People are listing, you know old times the goods and services Let me show you show you so if I were to create a listing if you're here So if we're bringing down it to like you could do a listing for earning Monero, right? So I'm selling my bicycle for Monero. I Do graphic design for Monero? I sell cheese for Monero Renting out an Airbnb for Monero You can also do a spend post so like looking to spend Monero So like I'm looking to buy a motorcycle for Monero Does anybody want to stay you know sell me their motorcycle from narrow and then he cost you a business listing post So saying that you're a business That's currently accepts Monero. And so we have a bunch of those actually popping up So we have a Venerable Matt or currently calling Venerable Matt And so these are all different businesses that accept Venerable around the world So super cool to see it being used more and more like you said this now We've only been around, you know less than a year. I was doing it to New York Because it's also one of my favorite but listing so far is there is a supermarket in Astoria, I'm sure everyone here does the story if you're local to New York Speaker 6 I was just, uh, it's... Doug one of my favorite parts of New York City. Always has been. Used to be better back in the day. Used to be more ethnic, a lot of creeks hanging out. A lot of Eastern Europeans. Now it's very gentrified. That's a little bit of a topic. But it's still a very cool place. But there's a supermarket in New York City that accepts me now. He was at that supermarket that I really does that. He used real U.S. dollars all of that. Did you see that? Speaker 6 Did I- Where's Penelope? I'm not- I'm not- I'm sorry, it was the worst. But- Where? Did I- Doug How do you know you were at the supermarket? I know you just stopped with me. The picture. The picture. Are you sick? You're at that supermarket. You need a story. He wants a story. Speaker 5 I worked at a Speaker 3 story about that one threat only, I was zero to that. Doug That's the growth on that, and you don't know what Monero is. He didn't know. Okay, I know. That's like being struck by like, there's a lot of supermarkets in New York, if you haven't be able to one today that accepts Monero, that's pretty cool. Monero is digital cash, you know what Bitcoin is? So it's very similar to Bitcoin, proof of work, you know, mining, all that stuff. Is that tradable? Is that tradable? Like you could kind of like trade. Speaker 6 It's a bit quiet. It's a bit quiet. Yes. Doug It's tradable, it's its own chain. The primary difference between Monero and Bitcoin is it's untraceable. So it has a ledger like Bitcoin, but the letters obfuscate it. So you can't see the amounts, you can't see who the sender is, you can't see who the reviewer or receiver is. So ultimately it's like untraceable digital cash. That's what Monero's all about. So yeah, this is one of my favorites. He's a supermarket in a store that accepts Monero. I went there, it confirmed that the Bob Ross use of Monero. It's like only when the guy is there, the guy will always do it, but still cool to say. I will just quickly wrap through a few, just a few more things to talk about. So recently we added a couple of features. We added a way to connect. So here's the edit profile section. So your profile, very simple too, right? It's all about connecting people that want to participate in a Monero Stewart build-on. Some profiles like, tell us the skills that you add or things that you want to buy with Monero, things that you'd be looking to sell for Monero. So even if you're not ready to list something yet and you want to enter the Monero circular economy, go make an account on XMR Bazaar. You can be completely Aedon, but also obviously you got to run trust on here, right? So if I'm buying cheese off of somebody and he's completely Aedon and like, you know, looks like a scam and I use that rectamen, I send to Monero, he doesn't send me the cheese. I don't even know if it's from Italy though, like everything's off the, you're able to see like, or rep, people can lie, right? So people have to build up reputation. This is basically what I'm getting at. So what XMR Bazaar really is at the end of the day, it's to try to be the trust and reputation engine of the Monero circular economy. So through the profiles, you can earn trust by commenting on other people's profiles, with people commenting on you, when you sell something, whether you pick up the buyer administration, they try to do a thing where if you can't be anonymous, I'm looking like, well, hold on, let me, let me finish the presentation and I'll answer these. Speaker 6 Wes. Doug I have one card questions. Speaker 6 feel. Doug Yes, so the whole concept is for people to earn trust by building up their reputation, by making sales, but there's other ways you can earn trust. You can connect your Twitter account to your X account, so if you have a legitimate verified X account, that's one way people can say, oh, it's that guy, Twitter, he's starting to earn my trust. You could also get verified, so if we know you through the Monero community, I'll personally say, honestly, if I bought cheese off of you and it worked out in the past, I could verify you, so there's things that could be done. And then additionally, other ways to protect the buyer is we have multisig built into the platform. So we could buy your cheese directly, or you could use Monero and multisig. So if I went, I said we could offer, I had to select the amount of cheese, the shipping, I'd enter my address. Once again, all this is encrypted, PGP, nobody sees it, just the buyer, and then I'd select either direct payment, if I want to pay the guy directly with Monero, and I'm like, once again, I'm taking a risk there, unless he has, you know, a solid profile that shows that he's made 10 sales of cheese already. But because this guy's the sole entity yet, I could do direct payment, I'm taking a risk, or I could do escrow, and we have basically multisig escrow built into the platform. So you're not relying on the fact that you're just sending this guy Monero, hoping that he sends you the cheese, rather you're sending it into a multisignature wallet, you set the Monero, and then the Monero doesn't get released until you say, hey, I received my cheese, right, and there's a third party involved, the mediator, which isn't XMR Bizarre, it's just any other person on XMR Bizarre that wants to be a mediator. So you could be a mediator at XMR Bizarre, and you as a mediator, you could charge fees. So it's actually very similar to Bisc, that guy knows up here talking about that Bisc, so kind of same concept there with mediators on the platform. Firstly, if I was doing this, I'd probably do direct payment, I would just talk to the guy first, like try and figure out if he's legit, because direct payment is just a lot easier, quicker, faster, and I would try to feel about and talk to him, DM him, and if I felt like, all right, I'm going to take a shot, I'm going to send you, and I'll probably go that route. But yeah, I want to talk about, so we added a way to connect, like I said, connect your Signal or Simple X, so that's really cool. So now you won't Bisc DMs, if people are saying DMs on here, or if you won't Bisc borders, you'll get a notification on those apps. And then we're also launching and adding a bottling feature. So this is another kind of third form of paying, right? So you could even do direct pay, you could do escrow, or you could do direct pay with bond. So people, vendors can essentially buy a bond. So if I'm the cheese guy, if I don't, I never sold cheese yet, but I'm a legit D, I come on here, I'm going to buy a bond for one XMR, or let's say five XMR, that five XMR gets locked up into a bond. Doug And now we as a buyer, I could see that the guy's bonded, right, that he put up five XMR. If he scams me, it would be a similar process to the multisig at that point, there'd be a mediator that would determine where you actually scammed. If you were, then they would release the bond money back to you. So you sent, you know, one Monero for five kilos of cheese, guy never set the cheese, you would get one Monero back from that bond. So that actually has the results, and we'll be watching that very soon. So yeah, I won't be way more at some point, it's already more than I already had that it that is, it's my baby, I'm very excited about it, because I think this is ultimately how you win, right. So, like I said, I was a BTC Maxi back in the day, but what I was most excited about in terms of crypto, was that it can be used as digital cash, that we can opt out live off each other peer to peer, outside of the government outside of corporations, create our own circular autonomy. And that's really where the power of crypto comes in, in terms of the effect that it can have on the state, right, it's not so much that it's just money that they can't print while that is a tremendous aspect of it. It's also wanting that they can't control or surveil, where it creates an economy outside of the system that they control. And so, the way we do that is we actually just start living off of each other peer to peer using the stuff. So we have all the tech, it comes in for a long time now, but it never really got used for that purpose, because it started designing away from that use case, originally was designed for that use case, I mean, look at the title of the white paper, right, peer to peer digital cash system. But you know, everything goes with the whole story. But in many ways, Bitcoin was hijacked, and now it's being sold more as a digital goal, the store value, mostly because it pivoted away from the digital cash. And Monero has been focused on being digital cash from day one, and will never take just like Bitcoin will never, you know, raise its 21 million coin limit, Monero will never pivot away from trying to be untraceable digital cash, that's really differences between the two cryptos. And that's why I'm building XMR bazaar, I'm excited about it, because I think that's how we ultimately do it is we live off each other peer care, live untraceable digital cash. Any questions? Anybody got any questions? Speaker 4 But still, cool about mediation. So other guys bet the mediator's transaction. Doug So it's like any other user, right? So they have, they build up a profile too. So they start from scratch. So the first mediator are people that like I, even the admin for the site is also a mediator, right? So she has a profile that people trust. So she, see that she did the mediator on multiple, yeah, multiple occasions. If you wanted to become a mediator, you basically have to slowly like, you know, be involved in the first one, people be taking a risk on you. But if you see that you're, you know, you slowly built a reputation from there. So we have a list of like white listed mediators that are fairly trustworthy and that they've mediated before they, you know, haven't scanned anyone to date. But just like any other user, it's about building up your own trust and your profile reputation. Speaker 4 Yeah, how would a mediator handle a transaction that's like the land of Binghamton? That seems like a pretty advanced deal. There'll be a lot of things that go into it. How would a mediator handle a transaction that's like the land of Binghamton? Doug Well, from the sending the Venero part, it's really not a big deal, right? So obviously, like the LAN thing, right, there's gonna be attorneys involved, I'm sure, right, you're gonna have a closing, you're gonna have to sign the title. Oh, when you're literally sending the Venero from your wallet to the other person's wallet, there would be, it'd be no more complicated to buy you a bicycle, right? So you're, it's ended, the mediator would know that, you know, the, whatever the title has been, right? The lawyer would say, yeah, you know, the title has, you know, they sign the title, release the Venero, Venero gets released, right? Speaker 4 yeah uh and that's it do you know which one which like avian method to use more director fustro Doug Which of the use born I think definitely got rats definitely is that the estros a little cumbersome. It's a process. It's pretty cool. I mean That's one of the things about Monero. It doesn't really have a good like Vaulty signature system like you can't you multi-sig on Monero, but it's a little complicated It's not as easy as like even Bitcoin even Bitcoin isn't known to be super programmable even Bitcoin You know a scripting or a like sick, but the narrow different animal But the guy could build XMR bizarre is completely a down by the way of the main dev who I deal with and The admin is also completely a hours very cool But he figured out how to build mold to Monero multi-sig into basically it happens in the browser, which is very cool So it's all through the browser for you the mediator and the seller It opens up a chat and then there's steps you go through first You know, it's telling you send the Monero mark off the Monero's been set whenever and then the multi-signature process actually happens in the browser Also, yeah Cool. Yeah, good questions. Hey, it's just like super basically like you got the problem. You're mentioning about trusting So when you send you some case like a merry relations like old-school eBay in a lot of ways I'm not a huge eBay user app use in the past to a philosophy says are there any things about the way? You pay Justin's that you like that like bottom out or break up a berry free Speaker 6 the problem and not say it's solved. Doug For sure. Yes, but it's like it's very similar with like sure like also about primitive, you know Internet polka. No, I'm not trying to say it's like that. That's the same thing. I'm just trying to say that We're going back to the early days of the internet. It's just which is cool. Look is that's how you have to start Yeah, you really they run off of trust and reputed for for reviews right reviews which we have That's really how it started right? Speaker 6 Yeah, this is the mechanism, bro. What's that? For you, Squeaky, maybe you made it to aspect B. It's like a sexual authority at times, but like, right. Doug Yeah, the real mechanism is like reviews, so we have obviously we have a robust review system we come it's after you make a after you make a purgent you know you you can rate the buyer you create the seller you believe a review and I do think the bond thing is really going to be a big one right so anybody that's on there if you're into Monero you're selling cheese you should be able to round out one two three Monero and put up as a bond right and so if you're not putting up the bond you're going to be pretty sus like yeah I'm probably not going to buy something from you I mean unless you're like you're you can see that it's some new because really just starting and he's like selling a book for 20 dollars they're trying to get my first Monero I don't have been able to put up the bond you're DMing with the guy that you know I'll get a shot I'll I'll send you the $20 now but most people if they're going to like go through this process of being a seller they'll just buy this bond and I think that's really good enough and in fact that's something that eBay doesn't do right because I mean right I don't know if they had no off saying it's cute they're sure they have things like that I don't know like there's those ways but it's pretty unique with this we'll be able to do a bonding system and you're going to use a credit card to do it you you set good Monero a lot of your Monero so that's actually exciting feature I have to really thought about that I mean I don't know yeah I don't know that would really look like out here I mean the things I want to focus on are just making it as user-friendly as possible for people that's this good services you know like airbnb type list things all things and then I want to you know potentially make it alti coin so people can pay in big coin or doge or light coin but it would all always auto you know you transfer it into Monero ultimately which is potentially another revenue stream and then we're just charged transaction so that in that instance if we would get there'd be a transaction fee if you're if you're paying another crypto the instantly changed into Monero and the seller would always receive Monero because we think that's like you're gonna want you know that's at least the salary is getting digital cash right and if you don't happen to have Monero when you have doge coin at least you're now able to pay for something uh and we're still helping the Monero account and it's some fashion because the the seller is and you know getting Monero on their heads the end of the net uh so most of the those things I'm really focusing on is just uh making it more user-friendly so we have more you know more listings make the process as easy as possible for the buyer and the seller maybe add like uh a concierge service right so you know maybe like a chat like uh almost like uh a chat gpt for an excellent bar bazaar or you're like hey you know I'm looking uh I'm looking to buy this thing and it can kind of help walk you through the process put the buyer and seller together and be like here you go right I'm thinking I want to make it as convenient I want to make it as convenient as possible and ultimately I want to make yeah I want to make it better ultimately than ebay right like at the end of the day it could be better than ebay because the difference between ebay and what we're doing is not all the advantage you're probably just privacy and avoiding the banking system and uh you know the the government doesn't see everything you're doing but there could also be added usability because I mean my my you know my 10 year old could create an xmr bazaar account start selling stuff on there she does not make account but she could download a cake wallet maybe she has some men that you you know start earning Monero and uh you know so I could be in afghanistan I probably could not to be able to use up work whatever the thing is right but what I can do is xmr bazaar so like the it could in many way in ways be bigger and more accessible than something like ebay because it's completely permissionless you can be a refrigerator on xmr bazaar selling things or you could you could be you could be adultery to be part of the banking system so yeah anything else all right thanks thanks so much Speaker 6 Thanks for speaking around.
