Jack Hammer Trail Opens in Birmingham | Birmingham News
Oak Mountain State Park just dropped a wild new mountain bike trail—Jack Hammer—built by local crew BUMP, slicing through the newly acquired Forever Wild Belcher tract. Designed for that deep-forest backcountry thrill, it’s a beast of a ride with steep climbs and rugged terrain, made possible thanks to Innovate Alabama and Shelby County. BUMP’s president Chase Draper led the charge to bring untamed trails right to Birmingham.
