- 0:00Speaker 1: The younger brother of the prodigal son, teaches us emphatically
- 0:03Speaker 1: that if we get what is ours too soon, we
- 0:07Speaker 1: cannot handle it. That the same thing that should make
- 0:11Speaker 1: us praise the Father will drive us away from the
- 0:14Speaker 1: Father if we get it too soon. The Bible said,
- 0:18Speaker 1: he said, give me the portion of goods that fallowed
- 0:21Speaker 1: to me. The Father gave in and gave it to him,
- 0:24Speaker 1: and the blessing drove him over the edge. My prayer
- 0:29Speaker 1: has always been, Lord, don't give me more than I
- 0:32Speaker 1: can handle. Its readings, brothers and sisters, in the name
- 0:42Speaker 1: of Jesus Christ is the King. I'm excited to share
- 0:45Speaker 1: this series as we come to the close of the
- 0:47Speaker 1: year on finishing strong. It doesn't matter how you start,
- 0:52Speaker 1: it matters how you finish, and I want you to
- 0:55Speaker 1: finish strong. This particular message that I'm going to share
- 0:58Speaker 1: out of the series is teaching you how to stay
- 1:02Speaker 1: on track. A lot of people start good, but Lord,
- 1:06Speaker 1: have mercy, in a minute, they have gotten way off track.
- 1:10Speaker 1: If that's you, take a look at this. Discouragement can
- 1:17Speaker 1: creep in secretly, hide behind clothes, make up, hairdoes Discouragement
- 1:30Speaker 1: is so bold that it will even hide behind a smile.
- 1:37Speaker 1: It will always ride to work with you. And if
- 1:42Speaker 1: it doesn't catch a ride going to work, it'll catch
- 1:51Speaker 1: a ride on the way back home. Discouragement will go
- 1:58Speaker 1: into a tent, into a garage apartment. It'll go into
- 2:04Speaker 1: subsidize living. It will walk right into a Section eight neighborhood.
- 2:11Speaker 1: It will come in. But don't think that it stops there.
- 2:17Speaker 1: Discouragement will walk right into a middle class house and
- 2:23Speaker 1: sit down at the dining room table and have a
- 2:27Speaker 1: cup of coffee early in the morning. It won't just
- 2:33Speaker 1: stop there. It'll go in a mansion and sit on
- 2:37Speaker 1: the side of the jacuzzi, stick his feet in the
- 2:41Speaker 1: hot tub. Until you life is not worth living. If
- 2:48Speaker 1: you listen at discouragement, it will cause you to make
- 2:52Speaker 1: bad decisions. It will cause you to think that life
- 2:56Speaker 1: is not worth living. And secretly behind and the facade
- 3:02Speaker 1: of a smile and a good morning and a praise
- 3:04Speaker 1: the Lord, and how are you, you will wonder if
- 3:08Speaker 1: you're ever going to get out of what you're into.
- 3:15Speaker 1: Particularly painful is discouragement in the life of the believer,
- 3:21Speaker 1: because as we travel from season to season, it is
- 3:25Speaker 1: not just the perils that we face, but it is
- 3:30Speaker 1: seeing the wicked go forward while the righteous are held back.
- 3:42Speaker 1: I don't know if you've ever thought like that, but
- 3:46Speaker 1: sometimes I see people succeeding who didn't pray nearly as
- 3:53Speaker 1: hard work, nearly as long, have not been faithful at all,
- 4:03Speaker 1: and it seems like they seemingly have moments of victory
- 4:09Speaker 1: placed in close proximity so I could see it. Their
- 4:14Speaker 1: victories are flaunted in my face, not while I am
- 4:19Speaker 1: having a similar experience, but while all hell has broken
- 4:24Speaker 1: loose in my life and I am going through agony
- 4:28Speaker 1: and tragedy. Seemingly they are having victory and triumph. And
- 4:35Speaker 1: if you are not careful, the very sight of their
- 4:38Speaker 1: prosperity becomes your agony, and seeing them go forward will
- 4:44Speaker 1: be a source of such continued frustration that it is
- 4:48Speaker 1: not your tests that baffles you, but their success, agonizingly
- 4:54Speaker 1: displayed before you, makes you despair of life until David
- 4:57Speaker 1: says in thirty seven and one threat not thyself over evildoers.
- 5:05Speaker 1: How they prosper in their own way, they shall soon
- 5:12Speaker 1: be cut off, he says. In other words, don't make
- 5:16Speaker 1: a permanent decision over a temporary circumstance. He says, don't
- 5:27Speaker 1: allow a moment of agony to make you draw a
- 5:31Speaker 1: conclusion about life prematurely, because if you just keep on
- 5:37Speaker 1: walking with God, God has a way of making everything
- 5:46Speaker 1: all right. But he warns us and declares to us
- 5:51Speaker 1: that the steps of a good man are ordered by
- 5:58Speaker 1: the Lord. Steps. Somebody say steps. Now, the term steps
- 6:08Speaker 1: implies process means it's gonna take a while, means that
- 6:19Speaker 1: you can't get to the destination just because you want it,
- 6:26Speaker 1: just because you saw it, just because you like it,
- 6:31Speaker 1: just because you need it. In fact, we are often
- 6:35Speaker 1: tormented by vision. Yeah, we're tormented by vision. It's painful
- 6:43Speaker 1: thing to be a visionary because the visionary sees what
- 6:49Speaker 1: shall be and wakes up to deal with what is.
- 7:00Speaker 1: Sometimes a visionary cries out on the inside and says, God,
- 7:03Speaker 1: don't even show me what shall be, because every time
- 7:10Speaker 1: I shout and dance over what you showed me, I
- 7:14Speaker 1: go home to a harsh and painful, bleak, dark reality.
- 7:18Speaker 1: And the fact that I am torn between what shall
- 7:22Speaker 1: be and what is creates agony in my life. The
- 7:26Speaker 1: Bible said, hope deferred makes the heart sick. There are
- 7:32Speaker 1: moments that I'd rather not know that I'm gonna be
- 7:35Speaker 1: king if you're gonna send me back out into the
- 7:38Speaker 1: field to take care of sheep. Why didn't you just
- 7:42Speaker 1: hide that I was gonna be keen so I could
- 7:45Speaker 1: be satisfied taking care of sheep. But because you told
- 7:48Speaker 1: me you had more funning, I wanted to hasten the
- 7:53Speaker 1: process to get to my destiny. Now now I'm not
- 7:59Speaker 1: a happy doing what I used to be happy doing
- 8:02Speaker 1: because I'm tormented by what shall be. I want to
- 8:05Speaker 1: hasten my process so that I can get to an
- 8:09Speaker 1: expected end. But that cannot be done, because a blessing
- 8:17Speaker 1: given too soon is not a blessing at all. I
- 8:24Speaker 1: can give my son the car keys now and tell
- 8:28Speaker 1: him to go to the store, But had I given
- 8:31Speaker 1: it to him when he was five, it would not
- 8:34Speaker 1: have been a blessing at all. Same car, same son,
- 8:39Speaker 1: given too soon. He can't handle it. The car can
- 8:45Speaker 1: handle it, the road can handle it. I can give
- 8:51Speaker 1: it to him, but he can't handle it. So would
- 8:55Speaker 1: I be a good father if I gave him a
- 8:58Speaker 1: good thing too soon? Sometimes my goodness is proven by
- 9:06Speaker 1: my ability to say not yet. The younger brother, the
- 9:14Speaker 1: prodigal son, teaches us emphatically that if we get what
- 9:18Speaker 1: is ours too soon, we cannot handle it. That the
- 9:23Speaker 1: same thing that should make us praise the Father will
- 9:25Speaker 1: drive us away from the Father if we get it
- 9:29Speaker 1: too soon. The Bible said, he said, give me the
- 9:32Speaker 1: portion of goods that followed to me. The Father gave
- 9:36Speaker 1: in and gave it to him, and the blessing drove
- 9:38Speaker 1: him over the edge. My prayer has always been, Lord,
- 9:44Speaker 1: don't give me more than I can handle. You know
- 9:49Speaker 1: when to bless me, You know how to bless me.
- 9:53Speaker 1: You know when I'm ready to be blessed. Teach me
- 9:58Speaker 1: patience with the process. Oh, I'm preaching right now, still
- 10:04Speaker 1: to come on the powder stats. Did you know your
- 10:08Speaker 1: blessing is already ready, that is already in place, That
- 10:13Speaker 1: God in fixing it up right now. It's already done.
- 10:17Speaker 1: That the work doesn't have to be applied to where
- 10:21Speaker 1: you're going. The work has to be applied to you
- 10:24Speaker 1: so that when you get where you're going, you can
- 10:27Speaker 1: handle what you gotta handle. That's, Oh, God helping it.
- 10:31Speaker 1: Preach the steps, the steps, the steps to three people,
- 10:35Speaker 1: saying the steps, the steps, the steps.
- 10:40Speaker 2: He has a place in mind.
- 10:41Speaker 1: Somebody out of Thank God for shut doors.
- 10:45Speaker 2: A peace in store.
- 10:46Speaker 1: God can give you some things that your money cannot buy.
- 10:50Speaker 2: And provision for your need.
- 10:52Speaker 1: He already had the major in place while man was
- 10:58Speaker 1: shutting doors.
- 10:59Speaker 2: So don't be a for the gift God gifts.
- 11:01Speaker 1: Don't be afraid when he bypasses a hotel and takes
- 11:04Speaker 1: you to the barn, because God has a way of
- 11:07Speaker 1: turning a barn into a penthouse suite. Don't be afred
- 11:11Speaker 1: of the gift God gives.
- 11:14Speaker 2: For helping us reach others with your best gift we
- 11:17Speaker 2: would like to give you. Don't be afraid of the
- 11:18Speaker 2: gift God gives on CD as well as a bonus
- 11:21Speaker 2: message the Rainmaker on DVD. And when your gift is
- 11:25Speaker 2: one hundred and fifty dollars or more, receive our Blessed
- 11:27Speaker 2: in Love Calendar, a Blessed in Loved journal for recording
- 11:30Speaker 2: your experiences to new heights, and our Blessed and Loved
- 11:32Speaker 2: Inspiration Cup when you visit our website or call one
- 11:35Speaker 2: eight hundred Bishop to Today.
- 11:43Speaker 1: I think the perspective is critical in order for you
- 11:45Speaker 1: to be an overcoming, to be victorious. It's not what
- 11:48Speaker 1: happens to you, it's how you feel about what happens
- 11:50Speaker 1: to you. The ability to manage problems and situations is
- 11:55Speaker 1: what determines the CEO from the janitor. I've been both
- 12:00Speaker 1: can clearly tell you the higher up you go, the
- 12:02Speaker 1: more problems you encounter, and your ability to have proper
- 12:06Speaker 1: perspective under fire is critical. Frankly, it takes discipline because
- 12:13Speaker 1: no matter who you are where you are, the heart
- 12:15Speaker 1: trembles with fear, your mind racist with possibilities. But if
- 12:19Speaker 1: you can discipline yourself to hold on to your perspective
- 12:22Speaker 1: while you are under fire, you can overcome anything. That
- 12:26Speaker 1: takes discipline, not emotionalism. You can't dance your way into this.
- 12:31Speaker 1: You have to be sober and be vigilant because you're
- 12:35Speaker 1: under fire. Your perspective is being attacked. The enemy is
- 12:39Speaker 1: trying to make you think that you are not coming out,
- 12:42Speaker 1: or that you don't have what it takes, or that
- 12:44Speaker 1: you can't do it, or that you can't. You can't,
- 12:46Speaker 1: you can't. But if you can hold on to your
- 12:49Speaker 1: perspective and be disciplined enough to keep the car in
- 12:52Speaker 1: the middle of the road even though the wind is
- 12:53Speaker 1: rocking from side to side, you'll drive through the storm.
- 12:57Speaker 1: And when the storm is over you'll still be standing.
- 13:00Speaker 1: I don't. I don't always have patience with the process.
- 13:05Speaker 1: I don't. I don't. I don't like process. I don't
- 13:10Speaker 1: like process. I don't. I don't like paperwork. I don't
- 13:13Speaker 1: like waiting in line. I don't like being sent from
- 13:17Speaker 1: this person to that person. I don't like modern telephone
- 13:23Speaker 1: answering services that say, if you want this, punch five,
- 13:27Speaker 1: and if you want that point two, and if it's yes,
- 13:31Speaker 1: say yes. And if it's no, hit seven. And I
- 13:35Speaker 1: don't want all that. I just just want you to
- 13:38Speaker 1: turn the water back on. That's all I want you
- 13:41Speaker 1: to do. That's all I want. I don't, I don't.
- 13:48Speaker 1: I don't want to go through the directory. I don't
- 13:51Speaker 1: want to talk to a machine. I don't want to
- 13:55Speaker 1: punch in any numbers. Just give me what I want
- 13:58Speaker 1: like I want it, and I wanted how I wanted,
- 14:02Speaker 1: and you won't have no trouble out of me. Now
- 14:05Speaker 1: I'm not talking about you. I'm just talking about me.
- 14:07Speaker 1: Maybe it's because I'm the baby of my family. Maybe
- 14:11Speaker 1: I'm spoiled. I don't know what it is. Maybe it's
- 14:13Speaker 1: my age a stage. But for some reason, I want stuff,
- 14:17Speaker 1: my nerves are getting bad, brush Smith, My nerves are
- 14:22Speaker 1: getting bad. I don't like waiting in line. If I
- 14:25Speaker 1: drive past Windys and the line is too long, I'd
- 14:28Speaker 1: rather go home hungry than to city. I don't know,
- 14:33Speaker 1: maybe it's just me, but but my patience is getting frail.
- 14:38Speaker 1: I used to could be polite while people talk smart.
- 14:41Speaker 1: But beyond my patience, I have to give a disclaimer.
- 14:46Speaker 1: I don't know what it is. When my hair started
- 14:48Speaker 1: turning white, I started speaking my mind. I'm dangerous, say shit.
- 14:53Speaker 1: Put a warning sign on my forehead that I spontaneously
- 14:58Speaker 1: combust because I don't like the process. I did not
- 15:05Speaker 1: want God to order steps. I wanted God to order
- 15:10Speaker 1: a blessing. I wanted God to order a healing. I
- 15:15Speaker 1: wanted God to order prosperity. I wanted God to order victory.
- 15:19Speaker 1: But instead of ordering victory, he ordered steps. He ordered it.
- 15:24Speaker 1: He ordered. He didn't just offer steps as an option
- 15:29Speaker 1: to be selected on the directory of choices. He ordered.
- 15:38Speaker 1: He ordered steps, the steps of a good man. I
- 15:44Speaker 1: ordered by the way. I know you used to shouting
- 15:46Speaker 1: over that text, But before you dance, think a minute.
- 15:54Speaker 1: God ordered steps. Who wants steps? Nobody wants steps. Steps
- 16:04Speaker 1: are not beautiful. They're not attractive. Now when they put
- 16:08Speaker 1: them in your house, they try to decorate them, put
- 16:11Speaker 1: carpet on them. Some people even put lights up under them.
- 16:15Speaker 1: They try to decorate them. But nobody wants steps. The
- 16:18Speaker 1: only reason we have steps is to get us to
- 16:21Speaker 1: a higher level. If there were a way to get
- 16:28Speaker 1: upstairs without going upstairs to get there, we would take it.
- 16:36Speaker 1: If we could afford an elevator, we would put one in.
- 16:40Speaker 1: But if you don't have the sixty seventy thousand dollars
- 16:43Speaker 1: it takes to put an elevator in your house, then
- 16:47Speaker 1: guess what. You go up the steps one at a time.
- 16:56Speaker 1: I take them one at a time now. I didn't
- 16:59Speaker 1: used to. I used to take two and three at
- 17:05Speaker 1: a time. When I was younger, I would just just
- 17:09Speaker 1: step over steps and just take two or three steps
- 17:13Speaker 1: at a time. I did that. I ran up the
- 17:17Speaker 1: steps talking on the phone. I skipped over the steps.
- 17:22Speaker 1: I ignored the steps. They were no problems when I
- 17:26Speaker 1: was younger. No, no, I don't remember thees aching back,
- 17:30Speaker 1: hurting anything. I just went up the steps fast. I
- 17:37Speaker 1: ran up them until I tripped on them. As long
- 17:42Speaker 1: as I had never tripped going up the steps. I
- 17:45Speaker 1: ran going up the steps. I skipped over top of them.
- 17:49Speaker 1: It was funny to me to see somebody take one
- 17:52Speaker 1: step at a time. My legs were long, my back
- 17:55Speaker 1: was straight. I could expedite the process and get there quicker.
- 17:59Speaker 1: Old people got on my nerves. Took them too long
- 18:01Speaker 1: to get where they were trying to go. Excuse me,
- 18:04Speaker 1: step aside moved to the right. I gotta go. I
- 18:07Speaker 1: run up the steps until I fell on the steps,
- 18:13Speaker 1: and the steps taught me to respect them. I bust
- 18:18Speaker 1: my lip on the step, and I learned respect for
- 18:24Speaker 1: the process. I learn that the race is not given
- 18:28Speaker 1: to the swift, nor the war to the strong, but
- 18:34Speaker 1: to him that endured to the end. I learned. As
- 18:38Speaker 1: cars shot past me and jumped in front of me
- 18:42Speaker 1: and pulled around me when I was driving, only to
- 18:46Speaker 1: meet me at the red light, I learned. I learned
- 18:51Speaker 1: that speed for a moment doesn't really mean progress. The
- 18:56Speaker 1: fact that you pulled around me and gave me that
- 18:59Speaker 1: sick know that that you when when I saw when
- 19:07Speaker 1: I pulled up to the red light and you were there,
- 19:09Speaker 1: I started to give it back to you because I
- 19:14Speaker 1: didn't do it, but I thought about it because you
- 19:19Speaker 1: made me feel bad when you pulled around me. You
- 19:22Speaker 1: made me look small when you pulled around me. You
- 19:24Speaker 1: embarrassed me in front of my kids when you pulled
- 19:27Speaker 1: around me. But when when when I finally got up
- 19:31Speaker 1: there and saw that you still had to stop at
- 19:34Speaker 1: the same red light, I found out the race is
- 19:37Speaker 1: not given to the swift, northern war to the strong.
- 19:42Speaker 1: I learned to pace myself. I learned to pace myself.
- 19:51Speaker 1: I learned to get on the highway and use cruise control.
- 19:54Speaker 1: I didn't used to do that. My brother and I
- 19:56Speaker 1: used to speed race going down the highway. I didn't
- 20:00Speaker 1: I think it was cool till we were in triple digits.
- 20:04Speaker 1: I did that till I hit a curve beyond and
- 20:06Speaker 1: almost went over the other side of the embankment. I
- 20:09Speaker 1: learned that when you get in a curve, you got
- 20:12Speaker 1: to slow down, go go through the process. God has
- 20:21Speaker 1: ordered steps. The thing that I'm thankful for is to
- 20:26Speaker 1: know that God orders the steps. It helps me to
- 20:31Speaker 1: understand that I am not wandering aimlessly, that I'm not
- 20:37Speaker 1: just moving on my own, that there is a course
- 20:42Speaker 1: for me to take, and that I can't graduate till
- 20:48Speaker 1: I take it that there is a path for me
- 20:51Speaker 1: to Troy, that God is it making this thing up
- 20:54Speaker 1: as he goes. I thought he was making it up
- 20:58Speaker 1: as he went. That's why I pray, so he could
- 21:01Speaker 1: make it up my way. I prayed to abort the process.
- 21:07Speaker 1: I prayed to speed it up. I prayed to get
- 21:10Speaker 1: out the things that he wanted me to stay into.
- 21:12Speaker 1: I prayed that I wouldn't have to endure some things
- 21:15Speaker 1: that he wanted me to endure. I was working on
- 21:18Speaker 1: the destination, but he was working on me, and sometimes
- 21:26Speaker 1: he made me wait. He made me slow down and said, no,
- 21:30Speaker 1: you skipped that step. Go back, go back and do
- 21:39Speaker 1: that again. If you skipped it with Jimmy, I'm gonna
- 21:44Speaker 1: send it back with Freddie. If you skipped it with Willie,
- 21:50Speaker 1: you're gonna have to go through it with Roger. If
- 21:52Speaker 1: you skipped it with Sally, you're gonna go through it
- 21:55Speaker 1: with Susie. Because all of these are tools that I'm
- 21:58Speaker 1: using the work on you. I'm not preparing the blessing
- 22:02Speaker 1: for you. I'm preparing you for the blessing. The blessing
- 22:06Speaker 1: is already prepared. Oh my God, the blessing is already prepared.
- 22:11Speaker 1: Eyes have not seen, ears have not heard, neither have
- 22:16Speaker 1: entered into the heart of man the things that God
- 22:19Speaker 1: have prepared for them to love it. Did you know
- 22:22Speaker 1: your blessing is already ready, that is already in place,
- 22:26Speaker 1: that God is fixing it up right now, it's already done.
- 22:31Speaker 1: That the work doesn't have to be applied to where
- 22:35Speaker 1: you're going. The work has to be applied to you
- 22:38Speaker 1: so that when you get where you're going, you can
- 22:41Speaker 1: handle what's got to handle. That's, Oh, God, help me
- 22:45Speaker 1: preach the steps, the steps, the steps. That's three people
- 22:49Speaker 1: saying the steps, the steps, the steps. You wanted children,
- 22:57Speaker 1: but you wasn't a good parent. You wanted a good wife,
- 23:00Speaker 1: but you wasn't a good man. And anytime you get
- 23:04Speaker 1: anything too soon, you will trip on the steps. And
- 23:12Speaker 1: so God puts us in process and order steps. He
- 23:17Speaker 1: does it by steps. He does everything by steps, does
- 23:22Speaker 1: everything by steps. Somebody was some young pastors had gotten
- 23:25Speaker 1: a hold of some of our materials that we disseminate
- 23:30Speaker 1: behind the scenes for our conferences, and they said, everything
- 23:34Speaker 1: is regimented. At seven o'clock, the lights go up. At
- 23:37Speaker 1: seven oh one, the praise singer sing at seven fifteen,
- 23:40Speaker 1: it's in the hand, and so and so on, and
- 23:41Speaker 1: say that they were amazed because they were used to
- 23:44Speaker 1: going to a church that had no steps. I explained
- 23:49Speaker 1: to them, when when you don't have much to manage,
- 23:54Speaker 1: you can do it haphazardly. You can just call sister
- 23:58Speaker 1: Agnes out of the crowd and say, I see Agnes
- 24:01Speaker 1: has come in the bid, and let's have Agnes come
- 24:03Speaker 1: sing a solo. But when you have something massive to run,
- 24:08Speaker 1: you can't run it in a haphazard way. Your structure
- 24:12Speaker 1: has to be different, your order has to be different.
- 24:16Speaker 1: You can't move spontaneously. You have to move a little
- 24:20Speaker 1: methodically and mechanically so that you are prepared to handle it.
- 24:25Speaker 1: You can't drive an eighteen wheeler like you drive a Volkswagon.
- 24:30Speaker 1: You can make a sudden turn in a VW, but
- 24:33Speaker 1: if you're driving an eighteen wheeler, you got to think
- 24:36Speaker 1: before you get to the turn and start shifting down
- 24:39Speaker 1: and moving into position so that when you get to
- 24:42Speaker 1: the turn, you are positioned to make the right turn.
- 24:45Speaker 1: And if you weren't gonna do much, God could jerk
- 24:49Speaker 1: you quickly. But to him who much is given, much
- 24:53Speaker 1: is required, and you have to go through the process
- 24:56Speaker 1: to get everything lined up. Yes you can handle it,
- 25:00Speaker 1: but can your children handle it? Yes you can handle it,
- 25:05Speaker 1: but can your spouse handle it? Yes you can handle it,
- 25:09Speaker 1: but do you have the right friends for where you're
- 25:12Speaker 1: trying to go. There has to be some adjustments on
- 25:16Speaker 1: the steps before you get to the stage. Hate the
- 25:21Speaker 1: stuff you right there, but I'll be right back. It
- 25:24Speaker 1: is good to be uncomfortable. I've never met anybody who
- 25:27Speaker 1: was terribly creative or gifted or strong in leadership who
- 25:31Speaker 1: was also comfortable. It's always those people who say is
- 25:35Speaker 1: there not a cost? Those exceptional people who are uncomfortable
- 25:42Speaker 1: with the times and rise to the challenge because they
- 25:45Speaker 1: refuse to allow the chaos around them to determine the
- 25:49Speaker 1: conqueror within them. It is the chaos of the time
- 25:53Speaker 1: that creates the conqueror in the me. I'm not trying
- 25:56Speaker 1: to veer to the left, or veer to the right,
- 25:59Speaker 1: or gradually get it together. I don't have time to
- 26:02Speaker 1: grangeally get it together. I'm getting granted it know something
- 26:05Speaker 1: sault radical and salt nassa. I'm gonna turn the whole
- 26:09Speaker 1: day one one hundred and I had it agreed.

- 26:50Speaker 1: Too next week. On the Potter's Touch, even Jesus head steps,
- 27:01Speaker 1: they'd tried to crown him too soon, and he disappeared
- 27:05Speaker 1: because they were trying to make him skip the steps.
- 27:08Speaker 1: She said, no, no, you can't crown me before you
- 27:12Speaker 1: cross me. It is my cross that makes my crown.
- 27:24Speaker 1: It is my agony that makes my ecstasy. It is
- 27:29Speaker 1: my sickness that makes my healing. It is my poverty
- 27:36Speaker 1: that illuminates my prosperity makes me appreciate where I am.
- 27:42Speaker 1: Oh God help me. We have to stop there. But
- 27:45Speaker 1: my prayer is that you would allow the Word of
- 27:48Speaker 1: God to dwell in your heart by faith. If you
- 27:51Speaker 1: have gotten off track, that you begin to understand that
- 27:54Speaker 1: you must get back on course. You can't get to
- 27:56Speaker 1: the expected end if you take the wrong turn. You've
- 28:01Speaker 1: got to stay on course. If you understand the importance
- 28:04Speaker 1: of this message, perhaps you will get it and use
- 28:07Speaker 1: it to keep you on track. Play it over and
- 28:09Speaker 1: over again, because from time to time all of us
- 28:12Speaker 1: veer to the right and veer to the left. But
- 28:15Speaker 1: this will get you dead center on course. Have a
- 28:19Speaker 1: blessed Hey, this is the bo
