Transcript
- 0:02I forgot I was gonna play this. There's a list that came out.
- 0:05I was reading BuzzFeed, you know how I like to spend a long time
- 0:07on BuzzFeed, and the list of things that people only like to appear cool
- 0:13includes lacroix. I was personally offended by that. See, and I do.
- 0:16I really like sparkling water my kids. That's kind of what they're their
- 0:20jam is, that's what they're drinking. That's a nice alternative to soda,
- 0:24but because it's funny. It's not as tasty as a soda, obviously,
- 0:27but it's a lot more fun than water. Well, and I think there
- 0:31are so many people who just do not like the flavor of it. So
- 0:34they're like, you're just drinking that because it looks cool. No, it
- 0:38doesn't look it's no, there's not a lot of flavor, but it's just
- 0:41the carbonation. There's just a little bit of something to get me, to
- 0:45get me to feel something. And this was really when I'm after I get
- 0:48it. Yeah, how about manual driving? People pretending to like driving a
- 0:52manual because and this is so come on, now, do you know anybody
- 0:56who drives a stick shift? Still? No, but I remember my dad
- 0:59made me I had to buy a car that was a stick shift. What
- 1:03Yes, So I had a Chevy Cavalier and that went bad quick, and
- 1:07my dad took me. I'll never forget I didn't know how to drive it.
- 1:10I learned how to drive it on my way out of the lot going
- 1:12I lived in Colorado. Now imagine driving down Broadway. It was cold facts
- 1:15in Colorado on my way to my gig at Applebee's, and I'm like,
- 1:22just go, stop and go, stop and go. It was hilarious.
- 1:26It was I think they were cheaper maybe, but also maybe at the time
- 1:30better gas mileage, I think. But I would give you a hard time,
- 1:34but I have no idea how to either, so dad, And I
- 1:37also remember my dad telling me, you're gonna focus more on driving because you
- 1:42have a stick shift than a manual, because you'd be not that I would
- 1:45be a distracted driver. But now none at that time, there weren't cell
- 1:48phones for another five or ten years. But yeah, anyway, I'm just
- 1:51kidding. Going on solo dates, people pretend to go out and buy themselves
- 1:56and think that's cool. Yeah, it sounds. It's the same goes for
- 2:00solo vacations. I know, like the Internet loves to talk about, how
- 2:04you know, empowering it is to go onto solo trip, No, I
- 2:07would be desperate immediately upon arriving. I would be desperate to find anybody to
- 2:10talk to. One of my best friends does a lot of things solo and
- 2:15loves it, and I'm thinking, okay, but then are you just then
- 2:17you call me and text me the whole time? Exactly, I'd be messaging
- 2:21my band the whole time. I'd be like befriending the Applebe's bartender. Whoever
- 2:25liquorice thinks people like only because it seems cool, disusing? What have you
- 2:31not had the willoughbies from Kale and Foods in Perham? That is the best
- 2:38you've never had? That. I'm sure it's a fine. I'm gonna take
- 2:40you to a different level. What about black liquorice? Don't tell me,
- 2:44not even a little? That is disgusting. That is the devil in food
- 2:47for him? Okay, Oh god, Amanda, this one's gonna hurt.
- 2:52Thinks people only like to look cool, androids, What do you have to
- 2:54say for yourself? Androids of the way to go? Well? I mean,
- 2:58really though, can you just be honest? Me, like, why
- 3:00do you still have an Android? Honestly, all do this a lot.
- 3:02I don't want to learn how to use an iPhone. I know it sounds
- 3:07ridiculous, but that's why don't you jump on the android train. What are
- 3:09you doing that doesn't make you can't turn it around on me? Everyone is
- 3:14I think not everybody, most people. This is why they're still making them
- 3:17because there's a majority of us still using them too. By the way,
- 3:23By the way, if you have something that you think people think, is
- 3:27they only like because it seems cool? Seven two nine eight seven The taste
- 3:30of hard liquor. I'm so on board of this. Anybody who pretends like,
- 3:35oh my god, I love tequila shot, okay, that's you.
- 3:38Don't you like what it does? It gets you drunk quicker and it's fun.
- 3:42But my god, I don't even pretend anymore. After a shot.
- 3:45I make that face like, no, no matter what, can a chase
- 3:47or you have or anything, no matter what. You can also chime in
- 3:51on our Facebook page. Very first comment Pike is from Rob Paterson and he
- 3:54said tequila, Thank you, Rob, But bringing it home this one got
- 3:59me and it's so accurate. Jessica coon Wrights. Stanley mugs, Yes,
- 4:05just because those mugs that everybody carries it up the handle, the tall Stanley
- 4:10mugs every girl in America right now. That is so annoying. The different
- 4:13colors. They're like fifty bucks a pop, and what what? What's so?
- 4:16Why are they worth fifty dollars? I don't know. I like my
- 4:18Pike and Amanda in the morning swag. You're like Ada in the morning,
- 4:24big nutty eight point seven. Well, we all know of the devastation that's
- 4:28happened in Hawaii. Although it's one of those things it feels like we've all
- 4:30moved on already because that's just how the world works, you know. But
- 4:32meanwhile, right there's people they are still dealing with. It's horrible wildfires,
- 4:36and there's a woman who's wanting to step up and help. Her name is
- 4:42Mariah Cassillas. Now, you know, in moments of great tragedy, uh,
- 4:46there are people who step up without a doubt every time, and you
- 4:48love to see it. Well, this woman is doing her best to raise
- 4:50money for all of the victims and their families in Hawaii, and she's doing
- 4:55so by offering to send a nude photo to anybody who donates to her go
- 5:02fund me page. Any donation of ten dollars or more, pretty low level
- 5:09of entry. You get to see Maria Maria, Maria. Mariah will send
- 5:14you Maria nude photo and now go fund Me caught wind of what was going
- 5:19on and they said, well, hey, wait a minute, shut it
- 5:23down. It goes against the old community guideline. So they shut it down.
- 5:27So she's moved over to a different site. She said that basically,
- 5:30if you donate to any of the nonprofits, just send her a screenshot and
- 5:33she's gonna fire a nude photo. Do you She's just really really helping people,
- 5:39one picture at a time. I don't like to throw around the term
- 5:42hero shot to sleep on in the morning. Now it is a time.
- 5:50Is it weird? Every Monday we go through a few of the weird things
- 5:54we do, and we decide if it's just you that does it more?
- 5:57I mean, you're not as weird as you think. Well, first of
- 5:59all, is it weird that I'm working on a Monday? Because it's been
- 6:01a long time. You know, it feels good to be back here.
- 6:04It feels really good to be back in a I mean a five day work
- 6:08week. I don't know what I'm gonna do, but one thing I always
- 6:11do, and my husband calls me out on it every single time. Sometimes
- 6:14it does hurt well, other times it's just like your instant reaction. I'll
- 6:18bump or the kids will like do something. I'm like out, oh,
- 6:21and he's like, did that really hurt? Like, and then I have
- 6:26to play it off like, yeah, yeah, I already that didn't hurt,
- 6:29Like I barely touched you, nobody did anything. But it's always this
- 6:32dramatic like out she like, I will say, You're not the only one
- 6:35that does it now that I do. But you know, in my life,
- 6:38I've seen people who do that where it's just like you, it's more
- 6:41the shock of whatever it was that happened, but your instant reaction is out
- 6:46not necessarily did it hurt. It just shocked me or it was scary or
- 6:50whatever it may be. And then I always usually play it off oh yeah,
- 6:55oh yeah, funny bone, oh yeah, Like you have no idea
- 7:00kids too, and that's a hard thing. And you got two kids,
- 7:02but we're around our nephews a lot with the same age, and how do
- 7:05you determine whether the crying is justified or not, you know, because you
- 7:10don't like a two year old, you don't know if it really hurt,
- 7:12and you can't every time just baby them, right, No, our thing
- 7:15around it has dry up like that didn't hurt. Dry up up. If
- 7:18they're crying, dry up, dry up those tears. Dry up. I
- 7:23don't know. That's nick like fulling football coach money a dad. Dry up,
- 7:29get back in the game, rub some dirt on it. I didn't
- 7:32come up with it. That's so what he do? All right, come
- 7:35here, said dry up, and she'll just look at about. Oh she
- 7:39tried. She goes and just attacks her brother. Is it weird? How
- 7:43about is it weird to eat McDonald's multiple times a day because I find myself
- 7:48more and more. Yeah right, okay, So we're leaving town Friday.
- 7:53I get in the car with my buddy Eric. We're going to do his
- 7:54bachelor party. Went a little golf. It was a brutal weekend, by
- 7:57the way. There was a ton of golf, bunch of beer, and
- 8:00then to make it worse, we had to go to the casino. It
- 8:01was just like one of you just real boys. We stop. Nightmares are
- 8:05made up. No, it's a great weekend. But anyway or on the
- 8:09way leaving town, it's like, well, we got to stop buying,
- 8:11grab some mcdond's and so we get to Park Rapids. You know, it's
- 8:16been an hour and a half. Oh no, it's a first stop in
- 8:18town. It's like, gosh, you know what, I really I could
- 8:20go for a quick dub cheese. You know. The Golden arch is getting
- 8:26you everywhere, and like you don't need to tell me how unhealthy it is
- 8:28because they have healthy options, Like I just don't feel like you're choosing those
- 8:33options. Well, I mean, if you're only having let's see if I
- 8:35could get one just cheeseburger, whatever it's like, and then the rest of
- 8:37the damn perfect. It's really not that bad. And this is not a
- 8:41McDonald's commercial, by the way, but they do have really good deals on
- 8:43the app. So it's like, you know, financially better and going to
- 8:46some other places. No what I mean, I get it, But you
- 8:48can't go multiple time? Did I tell you that? Come September of one,
- 8:52I swear to God, I'm gonna get it together. Put it down,
- 8:54everybody, if you're listening, put it down on your calendar. December
- 8:58nine one Pikes are gonna get it together. Well I'm gonna. I'm not
- 9:01telling you right now that that is not real. Why because it's a Friday
- 9:05going into Labor Day weekend. So the answer that is not happening. Why
- 9:09don't we give you and then the next weekend your birthday? What are you
- 9:13going to be something? And that's what throw my age out here? I
- 9:16know, I appologize so rude. No, I'll be thirty something. You're
- 9:20correct, but no, we are. It's the first day in the NFL
- 9:22season, so that'll be an extra healthy day Sunday at the bar. Just
- 9:26probably get a salad. You're gonna need to reel this in a little.
- 9:31You can't go that is weird. You can't go to fast food twice it
- 9:35I mean? Okay, Now I gotta ask, is it more than twice
- 9:37a day? It's been more than twice? Why are you trying to expose
- 9:41me? Geez? More than three? There's only so many hours in the
- 9:43day, which just chill. Okay in the morning, you're ready ready,
- 9:50that's he is typing hot today. No, Amanda Steals. Let's see,
- 9:56let's see. Brought to you by Park Company Real Tours. Well, This
- 10:03is interesting. Did you watch the Leaving Neverland documentary on HBO? Thank you
- 10:07for asking. I do recall that. Well, Michael Jackson's accusers, Wade
- 10:11Robinson and James safe Chuck, they were featured in this, and they're going
- 10:15to be allowed to go to trial with their sexual abuse claims. Now,
- 10:18there was a three no ruling at California Court reverse the lower court's decision and
- 10:22found that MJ's companies can now be legally accountable for this misconduct. They're saying
- 10:28that his staff is the one who helped cover up some of the sexual abuse
- 10:31in the eighties and nineties. I don't know how many of them are even
- 10:33still around, if there's any witnesses or even available for any of that.
- 10:37But yeah, at this point, it's not like a specific person who's going
- 10:41to get in trouble. It's just somebody. Basically, somebody's got to pay
- 10:43if this actually didn't just justice for them to be able to feel that to
- 10:48move on, because my god, we're on thirty years no this. I
- 10:52imagine getting married and you're super excited, Margaret Quality jack Altenhoff. They got
- 10:58married in New Jersey and everything was great except for his best friend is Taylor
- 11:03Swift, and she showed up and it was all about Taylor Swift. I
- 11:07mean they are saying, and I saw some of these pictures. They were
- 11:09just fans everywhere chanting Taylor's name. They had to shut down Rhodes. Please
- 11:15there, brutal. I feel bad because it's not her fault. It's just
- 11:18you just happened to steal the thunder. That's why nobody asked you to be
- 11:22in weddings, right, I mean how could they? Yeah, no,
- 11:24Pike, exactly. Imagine trying to throw a wedding at the courtyard by Marian
- 11:31and you got a mandolide as a bridesmaid. Just I mean, it's gonna
- 11:33be chaos. Is that why I haven't been anybody's bridesmaid for all? It's
- 11:37gotta be it right, I would be all over it. Gosh, all
- 11:46right, Britney spears. She spoke out for the first time about her separation
- 11:50from a Psalm, but now she says, I had not heard that.
- 11:54But that's Sam is short for It looks like he's Sam. Yeah all he's
- 12:00Sam's But yeah, they are no longer together. We all know that.
- 12:03She posted a video of herself dancing and She said, it's been six years.
- 12:07It was a long time to be with someone, so I'm a little
- 12:09shocked. She goes on to say it's nobody else's business. That she's aware
- 12:13that she's getting in support from fans. She said, in some sort of
- 12:16telepathic way. I've been receiving so many messages that melt my heart from friends,
- 12:20and I thank you. That's just Instagram tell oh wait, it gets
- 12:24even better. She says she's actually doing pretty damn good, and this is
- 12:28where she starts to lose me. She says, she's been playing it strong
- 12:33for way too long, and my Instagram may seem that everything is perfect,
- 12:39but that is far from reality. Yeah, that's what I think when I
- 12:41see her. Yeah, oh my gosh, you just look like you're having
- 12:46the time of your life all by yourself, locked in your house, dancing.
- 12:50Yep. I always show Lauren her videos. I'm like, this could
- 12:52be us, but this could be you. He also did real lease a
- 12:56little statement. He said, after six years of love and commitment to each
- 12:58other or my wife and I have decided to end our journey. We will
- 13:01hold onto the love and respect we have for each other. And I wish
- 13:05you're the best always bleep happens. Asking for privacy seems ridiculous, So I'm
- 13:09just gonna askid everybody in the media be kind and thoughtful. He also was
- 13:11poking fun of the paparazzi. The other day. He had three different pictures
- 13:16of himself on his Instagram story with different kind of like pork and Tatiana get
- 13:20ups. Yeah, and just said, hey, help me choose which this
- 13:24guys would keep the paparazzi away from me. Brittany then, now remember there
- 13:28was some accusations made that maybe she had cheated on him. Yeah, so
- 13:33what she decided to do was first of all, roll around topless in a
- 13:37bed and post that on Instagram. And then she decided that she was going
- 13:43to post a group of men that she went out with. It sounds like
- 13:45they had a wild night eating chicken together. It seemed fun. And at
- 13:52one point this guy comes up and is like licking her leg. I don't
- 13:56you know anytime you go through a tough breakup tohing wrong, going down and
- 14:00getting licked. Yeah, just going asking the boys to come off. The
- 14:03boys the five. I don't recognize any of these guys. I know she
- 14:05hangs out with her manager, Kade Hudson. But I didn't even see him,
- 14:07and I don't think those pictures, I don't know. They're probably all
- 14:09the guys that you know. She told Sam not to worry about they're just
- 14:13friends, like in Amna in the Morning on Big Nutty eight point seven,
- 14:20remember the lockdown. Hate to bring up sore subjects, but you know,
- 14:24twenty twenty, we were all just locked in and doing things that you maybe
- 14:28wouldn't normally do, Like, well, this woman here got married and I'm
- 14:31not talking like was dating and had a wedding planned, and you know,
- 14:35because that was a messy time all in itself. Well, yeah, they
- 14:37were very intimate weddings if you were even able to get married at that time.
- 14:41Yeah, I attended a zoom wedding or two. Well this woman got
- 14:45married over zoom, so they didn't even have a ceremony. But she met
- 14:48a guy online in twenty twenty. She met him on Facebook. Now she
- 14:52lives over in the UK, Darren. Her husband lived in Michigan, so
- 14:58you know they never actually had met in person. Well years have gone by
- 15:03where this woman her name Ace, this is solid name for women or a
- 15:09man. She said, things have deteriorated. Over the last three years,
- 15:13her and Darren never have actually met in person still, so she's regretting the
- 15:16fact that on a whim in twenty twenty they decided to get married over zoom.
- 15:20Now, why you haven't they met yet? Well, initially out of
- 15:24the the COVID era, I guess, well, I guess so. And
- 15:30she did try to visit him in Michigan during the pandemic. She was turned
- 15:33away though by immigration, so she wasn't actually able to give in since and
- 15:37then she just says things deteriorated. She said, at the time, I
- 15:41was in a little bubble. I got so swept up and getting married that
- 15:45I didn't think about how crazy it was to do. Oh my gosh,
- 15:48that's hilarious news. Though, she's filed for an annulment and it's finally been
- 15:52granted. So she it's like, it's like it never happened. It never
- 15:54happened, like Ross and Rachel. Oh my gosh, that's funny. See,
- 15:58I actually had the exact opposite it because I was pregnant. So for
- 16:00me, it was more the exact opposite of what like I enjoyed COVID.
- 16:06I was just home. It was like I had a secret pregnancy in a
- 16:08way because I will never forget because my kids were already close in age.
- 16:12Yeah, hear me out. So sid was born in twenty nine, I
- 16:15know because Briggs was born in his third birthday is coming up, so September
- 16:21six, right, Wow, don't listen. This was so great because a
- 16:26lot of people knew I had a kid, but then all of a sudden,
- 16:27I had two kids. It's like, how did that happen? Because
- 16:30I wasn't out about nobody was really doing anything. I don't know how did
- 16:33it happen? Well, well, Pike, you know, but that was
- 16:37one thing I really enjoyed. And I got to have all of that quality
- 16:41time at home with my kids in those younger ages, which was so great.
- 16:44Yeah. A lot of regrets. So you're right out of the pandemic
- 16:47yours, wasn't. I mean, I think you're enjoying the non any regrets.
- 16:49Yeah, well, you remember I used to work here and then I
- 16:52quit. I will never forget this. I remember my last day here.
- 17:00If my first with stant was March tenth of twenty twenty, I thought the
- 17:03world shut down. March ninth, was it? It was days later literally
- 17:07days later. It was when I mean, I don't know about you,
- 17:11but I marked the official start of it was when the NBA announced the season
- 17:14was canceled. Okay, it's pretty serious. Yeah, So that was a
- 17:18regrettable thing thinking that because without getting too much into the weeds here, but
- 17:22it was just it messed up a lot of things. You Like, you
- 17:26thought you had a couple of jobs. You know, people thought things business
- 17:29was great, open jobs available. Now suddenly not. But it also,
- 17:33I mean, was it regrettable because you probably wouldn't have been such an avid
- 17:37golfer if you hadn't had that stint debt Rose. I spent the summer working
- 17:41at Rose Creek Public Golf Course, which is one of the fine establishments.
- 17:45Just a little of this, a little of that. I love it.
- 17:48It's a big operation. A man's like, no, I'm aware a lot
- 17:51of cogs make that machine work out there, all right. I didn't know
- 17:53if you were the car boys slinging drinks or well, are just slinging drinks?
- 17:57Slinging to myself, Pike in a minute in the morning, come on,
- 18:02get up. Oh well, this is hilarious because you know, you
- 18:07see in TV shows a lot, and of course famously on the nineteen nineties
- 18:11classic Billy Madison having to go back to school because it turns out you didn't
- 18:15really graduate. Oh come on, this is happening in real life to a
- 18:19woman who claims to have graduated in two thousand and seven. However, she's
- 18:25trying to go to college years later. Go you know, to school.
- 18:29It's never too late to go pursue something you want to do. The college
- 18:32that was telling her that she actually never did graduate high school. How would
- 18:36you not know that? Well, she's a little confused because she does remember
- 18:41going to a graduation ceremony, but it turns out that she was one half
- 18:47a credit short at the high school she attended, and they informed the college
- 18:52that she couldn't get into the school until she actually graduated. So she's now
- 18:56found herself in a situation where she wants everything she and maybe she's not giving
- 19:00us everything, right, yeah, but she she wants them to just give
- 19:04her a degree, and they're saying, well, no, you could go
- 19:07get your g ed. Could do that. So now she's found herself in
- 19:11a battle with the high school that she thinks she graduated from two thousand and
- 19:14seven. Interesting I wonder how that would work if let's say that happened to
- 19:18me. Could you just call the principle over at Wouldina Deer Creek and just
- 19:22be like, hey, I mean, you know, I was here and
- 19:26there's like a half a cred, Like can I go, you know,
- 19:30talk to the kids and stuff, or like what are you doing? I
- 19:34don't know you? Or did you just go back to I mean the hilarious
- 19:38way to do it would be to go back to school and you gotta take
- 19:41a half a semester? What is addle? You know? Well? And
- 19:45how would that work in high school? Because you it wouldn't be a half
- 19:48you'd have to do a full year of one class right for the credit?
- 19:51No, I think it was a semester. Maybe maybe a little summer school.
- 19:56You could do a summer school. They are sure now they have online
- 19:57classes, not like they didn't when the class was Now it doesn't say okay,
- 20:02because that would make a huge difference. Yeah, wouldn't You wouldn't be
- 20:06fun to go back to time. How how do you think you would fare
- 20:07in high school these days? Okay, into Graci's shaking her head. You
- 20:10graduated four minutes ago. Yeah, what's what's changed? She cringes every time
- 20:15you talk about high school. She had a rough go. We're people me
- 20:18India. I just didn't like my high school. I wasn't the problem.
- 20:22Yeah, all right, shot it out. Where'd you graduate from? Davies
- 20:26High School? Alright? We love Davies. I would love to go back,
- 20:32and oh yeah, just see so I actually haven't been to our new
- 20:36high school since the tornado went through Wadina. Isn't that kind of weird that
- 20:40I still haven't gone? It is weird you don't go hang out of the
- 20:41high school you graduated from. Well, even just to do a tour or
- 20:45anything. Just walk wouldn't be sad, though, because you'd walk through and
- 20:48nobody would know who you are or maybe not. Maybe Are you still big
- 20:52in Wladina? I never was, never was big. I was never big
- 20:55in Wadina and never will be. But that's okay. I think it is
- 20:59okay. You're big. Get here, you're big, big nutty points really
- 21:03really okay with all of the things. No, I think, and I
- 21:06feel like I'm in the minority. But like I thoroughly enjoyed high school,
- 21:08like just loved it. And I'm not trying to be like glory days,
- 21:11Pike here, like, oh I go back and you know, but you
- 21:14did, and you still are really close with a lot of those people.
- 21:17So it's kind of I mean, after your boys weekend, wasn't it like
- 21:19you were just back at DGF days this weekend? Oh yeah, total total
- 21:23high school vibes. Just a bunch of Yahoo's. Seriously, though, we
- 21:26have not changed, like you want to see fourteen idiots just like being ridiculous.
- 21:30But that's what's so fun about it. And I feel like guys have
- 21:33that experience. I have a couple of girlfriends that kind of keep in touch,
- 21:36but overall are graduating class faded. We learned that with our twenty year
- 21:40class reunion. There really wasn't there just like wasn't there was four people that
- 21:45showed up. Oh it's sad, that's sad. You're big here? Did
- 21:48I say that stopped in the morning, Big Nutty eight point seven. Well,
- 21:55it's so fun for all of us to be able to watch them on
- 21:57ABC, but can you eatine the experience that they are happy in Fargo's Little
- 22:02League team. They ended up losing to Nevada yesterday seven to one at the
- 22:04World Series game. But according to the Fargo manager Cheat Hanson, he said,
- 22:08it was a pretty good tournament for our kids with the competition that they
- 22:11had faced. We hope to be here again. Overall, we're just having
- 22:15a blast. It's been a lot of fun. Hopefully they learned what it
- 22:18was like to compete at this high of a level. Yeah, you know,
- 22:19it's just fun to be there. Like when I made it to the
- 22:22Minnesota high school state wrestling term, which just made it the idea. I
- 22:25went Owen too, just like these boys. But you know what, I
- 22:26was just happy to be there. So memories for a lifetime for sure.
- 22:30For them not to make it about me, yep, yep, pretty much,
- 22:34Jim, you really you just compared. I mean, trust me,
- 22:37the matt Rats are something. But the World Series game, Little League World
- 22:42No, I mean iconic. I grew up watching it on ESPN every year.
- 22:45Like it's so much fun for them to be part of it. I
- 22:47mean, they do such a good job on ESPN of like spotlighting each of
- 22:51the players, and you know, they get their own little interviews and everything,
- 22:52and I love it. You just know, a lot of the people
- 22:56that are hanging out in the background because it's just their parents. Pretty sure.
- 23:00I saw that guy Menard's last weekend. Here he is on my TV.
- 23:03And I don't know what the hype about this Barbie movie. Yes,
- 23:07it's just over at this point. Blue Beetle debuted at number one over the
- 23:11weekend. This is the first weekend that Barbie has lost its rain of terror,
- 23:15still bringing in twenty one million dollars, of course, and being facetious
- 23:18about the thing. Mainly, I'm starting to get because we were at the
- 23:21pre party for Pink on Saturday night. Yeah, and so many girls.
- 23:25That's what they were talking about. It was, Hey, I'm at the
- 23:26Pink concert, But have you seen Barbie yet? And I just felt probably
- 23:30should go see this one. It feels like you're missing out. I have
- 23:33not seen it either. Do you think they do a sequel? Has there
- 23:34been chalks of a sequel yet? Does spoil or does Barbie die at the
- 23:37end of the movie. I don't know anything about it other than it's great,
- 23:41and people said that there's just a lot of humor. You and I
- 23:45should go, Amanda, we say, Matt and a little day. I
- 23:48know you're always saying we should spend more time together. Here's here's our chance.
- 23:52I don't know why that would be so funny to me. We should
- 23:56totally go okay, all right. Former ESPN sportscaster Stage Steel revealed that the
- 24:02late Barbara Walters, who died back in December at ninety three years old,
- 24:07allegedly assaulted her backstage on the set of The View. I thought this was
- 24:10kind of a joke, No, she said. The incident took place in
- 24:14twenty fourteen. They were having some conversations about President Obama. They don't see
- 24:18eye to eye, and Barbara Walters did this. It's probably about four feet
- 24:22from the wall and the trash can, and Barbara was standing over here in
- 24:26front of me, and she just started to back up towards me and looked
- 24:30at me and got close and elbowed me, and I pushed me back into
- 24:33the wall and the trash can. I was like, what is this just
- 24:37due to me? Like this one hundred and forty year old woman just trying
- 24:41like one is hopping right now. And some of the producers saw it.
- 24:45Whoopee saw it, and Whoopee was like, come here, and she was
- 24:48great, and she pulled me aside in her little area and she's like don't
- 24:52you let her do it? And I'm like, am I in a movie
- 24:53right now? Of course whoopee, whoopee is gonna probably say something about this.
- 25:00I would think Barbara Walters still has a rep who sent an email on
- 25:04that side. This doesn't sound like the Barbara I knew publicists on the golf
- 25:10course because it hasn't made a lot of work in the last seven eight months,
- 25:14final months. Rest in peace, Barbara. But also what if she
- 25:17did. What if behind the scenes Barbara wawah was like this big old bullet
- 25:22in violent too. I'd be one thing to be using her words, but
- 25:25to push somebody. I mean, come on, this is wild all right,
- 25:29slight chance of a morning shower. Once it's at he're gonna be Claude
- 25:32highest seventy eight. It's but the heat is coming back ninety tomorrow, ninety
- 25:34five by Wednesday. The submissions are pouring in to be part of our first
- 25:40ever momosas this Thursday. I mean, if you want to be okay,
- 25:42basically, well, you're gonna drop your kids off a school. Hey,
- 25:45I don't want to this is embarrassing. Pick we did momosas last year.
- 25:49You just weren't here for it so would you man that the world started the
- 25:52day I started working here. So there was another mamosas at one point,
- 25:56but this one is gonna be the big guess one yet because Pike is here
- 26:00for our big annual tradition this Thursday. Go to her if you want to
- 26:04beat sipping mimosas with us on the patio at the Grotto and Martini Blue.
- 26:10Check out our big Night Hip point seven Facebook page and entered away a minute
- 26:12in the morning. Well it happens, so such a great show on Saturday
- 26:21night painted the Fargo that looked like the entire world was there except for me.
- 26:25He had a bachelor party, but it looked like it was just everything
- 26:26of the you know, the hype which suggest it was gonna be Yeah.
- 26:30So we've seen Pink a couple of times and she was great. I will
- 26:33tell you though, that I had never seen Brandy Carlyle. She opened up
- 26:37and wow, she was amazing. She jumped on her Facebook yesterday and said
- 26:42Fargo felt like family loudest show of the tour. I'll be back up north
- 26:47sooner than last time. I always love it when they tell the crowd like
- 26:49this is the best crowd yet but to put it on social media, You're
- 26:53putting it out there that this was the lattest crowd, and then people and
- 26:56wherever they were. Yeah, any comments from Milwaukee, Hey, no,
- 27:00you just said that you posted this four days ago and now you've deleted it.
- 27:03Yeah. No, it was a great show altogether. A lot of
- 27:07people ended up posting that Pink was over at Target. She addressed that during
- 27:11her concert, saying, Hey, I guess there's no damn lead pencils anywhere
- 27:15or lad four pencils anywhere. So she ended up doing some school shopping at
- 27:18Target, hoping that you're gonna steal are lead? Think? Come on now,
- 27:22was she stole? No? I'm kidding, but oh is it called
- 27:26the police? Keep me having that. I just love when big celebrity comes
- 27:32to town and they're just acting like the average person. I was trying to
- 27:34embrace the city a little bit. No, that was super cool. But
- 27:37the photos looked amazing. I mean, she's still doing the aerial arts stuff,
- 27:41and a lot of people were wondering, Pike, did you get on
- 27:42stage with her? After last week? The video of me attempting to learn
- 27:45some of these aerial tricks. Yea, it wasn't even just you getting on
- 27:48stage Pike at the Applebe's pre party. Everywhere where is Pike? What is
- 27:52Pike doing? I mean, you really let people down this week. Well
- 27:56it was tough, It's much I wanted to be there. I had to
- 27:57go to this Batchelor party where there was just a a golf and you know,
- 28:00it just wasn't my thing. It was like golf drinking a bunch of
- 28:03beers. Then we went to the casino. It was just like, oh
- 28:07my gosh, how boring, Just so not me. Anyway, No,
- 28:08it was a great time. But no, it looked fun and yeah,
- 28:11again didn't get on stage, but we want to know, how do you
- 28:15enjoy the show? Seven one two, eight ninety eight seven Hello Amanda,
- 28:18Yeah, this is Jody. Was Pike one of the guys jumping on the
- 28:22tramp at the Pink concert? No, but that would be amazing. Was
- 28:27there some tram boys? Uh? No, I wish I didn't get the
- 28:30official invite to join her on stage. Oh my god, when I saw
- 28:34you trying to perform practicing, I thought I was going to pee my pants.
- 28:40That was wild, wasn't it. Oh my god, my pants?
- 28:45I almost did too. If you saw the video, you know, thanks
- 28:48for their support. You know, really it was maybe next time. I
- 28:51mean, just keep keep going. We don't want you to like crush your
- 28:53dreams completely because this could happen. And I feel like there's a lot of
- 28:56kids out there who saw the video just like Jody did and thought I'm sort
- 29:00of in a way their hero. At this point, I needed for them
- 29:03continue. Maybe it was you on this trampoline. Probably a bunch of two
- 29:07looking boys. Pike's got to be in there somewhere out of Bepike. Oh
- 29:11what a great show, though, absolutely amazing, especially when she landed on
- 29:18one of those poles right next to me and I vote died jackets. Yeah,
- 29:22so you know how she flies around. She landed on one of the
- 29:25poles in the middle, so that everybody in the fargodome because we didn't impale
- 29:29her didn't No good? Oh is something else? That was the best ever
- 29:34ever? Ever? Oh, I'm glad you had fun, so much fun.
- 29:37And I was so happy for those tep mom and daughter that got the
- 29:41fourth row tickets. Oh my gosh. Yeah. So we were at Applebey's
- 29:45for our pre party and there were a lot of people there that had tickets
- 29:48and they were just coming to hang out and hopes that they could win the
- 29:49fourth row tickets. So you can watch this video on our Facebook page.
- 29:55But as we do the drawing, this woman comes up and she had kind
- 29:59of mentioned when she had registered. Oh yeah, we just were hanging out
- 30:02in the pool at our house and we had heard you guys were listening to
- 30:03Big n Idea points something. We thought, let's jump out and just see
- 30:07what would happen. What are the chances we're going to go, have an
- 30:08appetizer, see what's going what goes down? They won, So it was
- 30:11a mom and daughter. They lost their mind. I loved the daughter at
- 30:15the and she goes, oh my gosh, we have to go get ready,
- 30:17I can't look like this for the Pink Concert fourth rowing. It was
- 30:21just awesome to see all of our winners because we had Pike the town for
- 30:23Pink Ye Sarah who got the tattoo if you remember the Pike tattooed so great
- 30:30photos as well. Another Samantha who had made those cookies or cookie Samantha.
- 30:34Yeah, she ended up hearing back saying that the cookies were spectacular. I
- 30:41know, it's just kind of fun,
