- 0:00Speaker 1: Three things you need to.
- 0:01Speaker 2: Know all right, Wednesday morning, six o'clock. Thank you for
- 0:05Speaker 2: being here.
- 0:05Speaker 3: Friends. Ricky Sanchez has those three things.
- 0:07Speaker 4: Actor Noah Centino, best known for his role in To
- 0:10Speaker 4: All the Boys I've Loved Before, may start in a
- 0:13Speaker 4: Rambo prequel. So it's movie based on John Rambo's origin story.
- 0:17Speaker 4: They have their sights on Noah Centino to lead, and
- 0:20Speaker 4: a source told Deadline that he's on board for the
- 0:23Speaker 4: prequel film. They're still shopping around for a studio, though
- 0:27Speaker 4: plot details are mostly under wraps. We just know that
- 0:29Speaker 4: it's going to follow Rambo's early years during the Vietnam War.
- 0:33Speaker 4: Sylvester Saloone he originated the role in nineteen eighty two.
- 0:36Speaker 4: He is known as Rambo. He reportedly knows about the prequel,
- 0:40Speaker 4: but is not involved as of right now. I will
- 0:43Speaker 4: keep you updated if they actually, you know, get a
- 0:45Speaker 4: studio to buy it and this becomes a thing that's
- 0:47Speaker 4: going to happen. Metro Traffic and Parking Commission has lowered
- 0:51Speaker 4: the speed limit on Gallatin Pike. This is something you
- 0:53Speaker 4: should know. Nobody likes getting a speeding ticket. Gallaton Pike
- 0:56Speaker 4: is going to see this speed limit lowered by five
- 0:59Speaker 4: miles per hour from Anderson Lane to Sumner County Line,
- 1:02Speaker 4: so it's going from forty five miles an hour to
- 1:04Speaker 4: forty miles an hour, which is a big jump. That's
- 1:07Speaker 4: one that you know, if you're going too fast, they're
- 1:09Speaker 4: going to pull you over. Oh yeah, and said that
- 1:11Speaker 4: this is going to help reduce the number of crashes
- 1:13Speaker 4: along that road and help prevent those crashes from turning fatal,
- 1:17Speaker 4: which is best for everybody, because there's nothing worse, obviously
- 1:21Speaker 4: than getting into a car crash and then we already
- 1:23Speaker 4: have terrible you know, traffic happening and god forbid somebody
- 1:26Speaker 4: gets hurt. Just this is good stuff. I know some
- 1:29Speaker 4: of you are like, oh my god, I'm not gonna
- 1:30Speaker 4: be able to get to work in time. I'm going
- 1:31Speaker 4: to add more time to most Yes, and Cracker Barel
- 1:36Speaker 4: fans they're really upset with the restaurant because they decided
- 1:39Speaker 4: to remodel. So people who frequent there have been commenting
- 1:43Speaker 4: on their social media pages about how quote bland the
- 1:46Speaker 4: new look is. As you know, I'm sure you've been
- 1:49Speaker 4: to a Cracker Barrel. If you have not, it's like
- 1:51Speaker 4: an old country style store. So think antiques, think old style.
- 1:57Speaker 4: The updated look has new lighting, a new paint color,
- 2:00Speaker 4: and a modern vibe to it, which is complete opposite
- 2:03Speaker 4: end of what they are used to a spokesperson for
- 2:06Speaker 4: the chain restaurant, so that they're pleased with the updates
- 2:09Speaker 4: and that the changes were in direct input from guests.
- 2:13Speaker 4: Does it look that way from social media?
- 2:15Speaker 2: I have so many great memories of being a cracker
- 2:17Speaker 2: bear when I was a kid. Just how the big
- 2:19Speaker 2: fire place, the crackling.
- 2:21Speaker 4: Yeah, cozy, that's the vibe.
- 2:23Speaker 3: Giant checkers and yeah, I just loved it.
- 2:26Speaker 4: Well no more. I'm rick Sanchez And those are the
- 2:29Speaker 4: three things you need to know.
- 2:30Speaker 2: I also want to go back a story and just say,
- 2:32Speaker 2: really quick, when you were talking about speeding tickets and whatnot.
- 2:35Speaker 2: If anybody missed it on Monday, we had a little
- 2:37Speaker 2: competition here and Ricky Zacamano in the morning to find
- 2:40Speaker 2: out who is the best driver on the show. Go
- 2:43Speaker 2: listen to the podcast Monday's Podcasts.
- 2:45Speaker 5: If it's a good one.
- 2:47Speaker 2: Yeah it was Ricky, sirch Ricky Zacondmann, wherever get your
- 2:50Speaker 2: podcast to hear that. All right, let's play Tapa Craye
- 2:53Speaker 2: music from Lowly Young and.
- 2:55Speaker 3: Benson Boone all the way.
- 2:56Speaker 2: We have these music City Brewers best passes for the
- 2:58Speaker 2: first call as well.
- 2:59Speaker 3: You can get those in under ten minutes.
- 3:01Speaker 1: Here on the river, Ricky, Zach and Meno in the morning.
- 3:06Speaker 2: Boy, it's one o seven to five the river. Let's
- 3:08Speaker 2: say good morning to Haley in Nashville. Hi, Haley here,
- 3:12Speaker 2: what are you doing?
- 3:14Speaker 6: I'm just heading into work, so obvious.
- 3:16Speaker 3: Next question, what do you dole?
- 3:19Speaker 5: I work at a doctor's it, Haley. I have to know.
- 3:21Speaker 7: Did the storms keep you up last night because they
- 3:23Speaker 7: woke me up at like two am?
- 3:25Speaker 6: No, not at all.
- 3:26Speaker 5: Oh lucky you are you? I will come.
- 3:29Speaker 4: Oh you said you were out? Yeh h Haley? Do
- 3:32Speaker 4: you do you?
- 3:33Speaker 3: I mean you work at a doctor's office here in
- 3:34Speaker 3: the medical industry. Do you take anything at night to
- 3:37Speaker 3: help you snooze, to help you a zonk out like that?
- 3:40Speaker 1: No?
- 3:40Speaker 8: Not really.
- 3:41Speaker 3: I'm trying to find something.
- 3:42Speaker 4: Everyone's super personal right there. He's like, Hi, just so
- 3:47Speaker 4: we know.
- 3:47Speaker 3: Can you write prescriptions? I mean I'm looking for something.
- 3:53Speaker 2: I feel like my sleep is suffering lately, and uh,
- 3:55Speaker 2: maybe like melatonin doesn't do it for me.
- 3:57Speaker 4: I don't know. I'll keep looking.
- 3:58Speaker 3: If anyone has suggestions.
- 3:59Speaker 6: Let me know.
- 4:00Speaker 4: Okay, perfect. Back to Haley. Haley, we hope you have
- 4:04Speaker 4: a great day, but just started off on the right foot.
- 4:08Speaker 4: I will tell you that you are one oh seven
- 4:10Speaker 4: five the Rivers first caller of the day. You're getting
- 4:12Speaker 4: to get to music City, Bruce Frist. It's happening on
- 4:14Speaker 4: August twenty third at Walk of Fame, park Craft, Fear Spirits,
- 4:18Speaker 4: DJ sets, games, giveaways, all that fun stuff all happening. Awesome, Congratulations,
- 4:25Speaker 4: It's going to be a fun time.
- 4:26Speaker 7: Great, Thank you, Thank.
- 4:27Speaker 2: You, Haley, hanging on one sex we can get all
- 4:29Speaker 2: your information. We appreciate you. We've got these passes all week.
- 4:33Speaker 2: It's it's already Wednesday, which.
- 4:34Speaker 3: Is blowing my mind. So tomorrow and Friday more chances
- 4:36Speaker 3: to win these time flies.
- 4:37Speaker 4: When you're having fun.
- 4:38Speaker 3: keV Doug, I'm having nothing but fun. Guys.
- 4:40Speaker 4: That's super convincing.
- 4:42Speaker 5: Thank you, said Zach bought it.
- 4:44Speaker 4: I did not.
- 4:47Speaker 1: Raik you Zach and Menno in the morning.
- 4:49Speaker 4: I have a plea for businesses to stop doing this
- 4:53Speaker 4: one thing that is absolutely destroying my life.
- 4:56Speaker 5: Oh the drama destroying your life.
- 4:58Speaker 4: Truly just mess with me daily is because it's one thing.
- 5:03Speaker 2: Over dramatic or is it really actually truly impacting your life.
- 5:06Speaker 4: It's going to sound over dramatic to a lot of people,
- 5:08Speaker 4: but it is genuinely impacting my life. And when I
- 5:11Speaker 4: explain a little bit more, I actually think that Zach
- 5:13Speaker 4: is going to be on my side.
- 5:15Speaker 5: I'll be the judge of that.
- 5:16Speaker 3: Zach is the most dramatic person I know. Of course
- 5:19Speaker 3: he's gonna be Kevin.
- 5:20Speaker 5: That is not true.
- 5:22Speaker 2: Okay, let's uh play Gigi Brez and then Ricky's gonna
- 5:24Speaker 2: explain this thing. Businesses are doing something and it's ruining
- 5:28Speaker 2: her life truly.
- 5:29Speaker 3: Okay, we're gonna find out next.
- 5:30Speaker 1: Down the road, Ricky, Zach and Meno in.
- 5:34Speaker 3: The morning seven five the River.
- 5:36Speaker 2: A moment ago, Ricky mentioned something that businesses in general
- 5:40Speaker 2: are doing and it's ruining her life. Her words were
- 5:43Speaker 2: ruining my life.
- 5:44Speaker 3: Uh So now we find out what exactly that thing is.
- 5:47Speaker 4: I cannot stand when companies change their product without telling
- 5:54Speaker 4: you that they've changed their product. And I understand that
- 5:57Speaker 4: that sounds super unreasonable to a lot of people out there.
- 6:00Speaker 4: They're like, well, are they supposed to let you know
- 6:01Speaker 4: that they changed it. I'm going to give you an
- 6:03Speaker 4: example of how it's ruining my life. And not to
- 6:07Speaker 4: get super personal here, but I have one specific pair
- 6:10Speaker 4: of underwear that I love that I searched high and
- 6:15Speaker 4: low to find the right pair of underwear that feels.
- 6:21Speaker 5: That's super comfortable.
- 6:22Speaker 4: That like you're like, oh, yes, this is exactly what
- 6:24Speaker 4: I wanted, and you search for it, You spend all
- 6:26Speaker 4: this money in all these different kinds, and you then
- 6:29Speaker 4: end up throwing them away because you just don't like
- 6:30Speaker 4: how they feel. And there's nothing worse than underwear that
- 6:33Speaker 4: does not feel good, because that's the one thing that
- 6:35Speaker 4: you're wearing every day. Found this brand and I love
- 6:42Speaker 4: obsessed with their underwear, and I was so exciting that
- 6:46Speaker 4: I went to Zach and I was like, Zach, I
- 6:48Speaker 4: found the underwear. I found them. I'm so pumped. I
- 6:51Speaker 4: spent so much money on a bunch of pairs of underwear,
- 6:54Speaker 4: but I have to buy more. So I bought more recently.
- 6:57Speaker 4: This is probably like, I don't know, eight months like that,
- 7:00Speaker 4: I bought more underwear. Yeaka, so they were doing a sale.
- 7:04Speaker 4: Bought more. They have changed the way that they make.
- 7:07Speaker 3: The underwear, like the fabric or the cut.
- 7:10Speaker 4: The sizing is different, the fit is different, everything about
- 7:14Speaker 4: them is entirely different. And I didn't think that it
- 7:18Speaker 4: would be different. And also with underwear, it's not really
- 7:20Speaker 4: like you can like put them on and be like, oh,
- 7:22Speaker 4: like is this the same? Yeah, so I obviously rip
- 7:25Speaker 4: all the tags off, wash them everything. Now I have
- 7:28Speaker 4: these underwear that do not fit me correctly, but they
- 7:31Speaker 4: were supposed to fit me correctly because they were one
- 7:33Speaker 4: true fit by one true pair of underwear.
- 7:36Speaker 7: Yeah, the rage right now, I appreciate It's it's taken me.
- 7:40Speaker 4: Years to find the right kind and they change everything.
- 7:44Speaker 3: How many good pairs do you have?
- 7:46Speaker 4: Probably about like nine that should take it through.
- 7:49Speaker 3: That's good, right, But.
- 7:50Speaker 4: Then when I had to buy more because you know,
- 7:53Speaker 4: you got to refresh your underwear. When I have to.
- 7:55Speaker 3: Buy more, we differ. I've had the same underwear for so.
- 7:58Speaker 4: That's a whole other conversation. Need to have another time,
- 8:01Speaker 4: kept dog, But like, why not at least just mention, hey,
- 8:05Speaker 4: we changed our sizing, we changed.
- 8:07Speaker 7: The like in the description, there's no way that you
- 8:09Speaker 7: can return it now because you took the teach exactly exactly.
- 8:12Speaker 4: I have spent forty dollars on underwear that I hate,
- 8:16Speaker 4: I despise.
- 8:17Speaker 2: I would say, reach out to the company. Maybe they
- 8:19Speaker 2: have some of the old ones in shelf somewhere.
- 8:21Speaker 4: I'll write a letter, write a letter, truly distraught.
- 8:25Speaker 2: You know what we say, Take Congress that settled a debates.
- 8:31Speaker 5: Take the Congress.
- 8:32Speaker 4: I really might, because that there should be your rule
- 8:36Speaker 4: that companies need to at least write in the description,
- 8:38Speaker 4: Hey we change sizing, Hey we change the material. We
- 8:41Speaker 4: changed the entire way that we're doing this, so that
- 8:43Speaker 4: at least I know, and then I won't buy a
- 8:45Speaker 4: bunch of that.
- 8:46Speaker 7: I mean, I don't disagree, because I'm the person that
- 8:48Speaker 7: gets upset when you walk into a grocery store and
- 8:50Speaker 7: they've rearranged the entire store.
- 8:52Speaker 5: So I'm like, I totally understand devastating. I would be upset.
- 8:55Speaker 5: You were right. I'm mad for you.
- 8:57Speaker 4: Thank you, Kevin. Do you understand where I'm coming from.
- 9:00Speaker 2: I'm going to say yes, so I don't get hit
- 9:03Speaker 2: or kicked underwear. It's rude in your life, But I
- 9:06Speaker 2: get the frustration.
- 9:07Speaker 4: Yay, I'm uncomfortable. I put them up because I also
- 9:10Speaker 4: I need to figure out which ones are which now
- 9:13Speaker 4: because I threw them all in my one pile.
- 9:15Speaker 2: So every day is a gamble under pile.
- 9:17Speaker 4: Every day is a gamble. Am I going to pick
- 9:19Speaker 4: the one I like? Am I going to pick the
- 9:20Speaker 4: one I hate? We don't know until daily.
- 9:23Speaker 3: Please on the air, Yeah, find out today.
- 9:30Speaker 1: Three days you need to know.
- 9:31Speaker 3: I have been past seven o'clock on this Wednesday morning.
- 9:34Speaker 2: Quick reminder, we have Katie Perry tickets coming up at
- 9:36Speaker 2: seven forty five.
- 9:37Speaker 3: You can win those this morning. But right now, Ricky's
- 9:39Speaker 3: got those three things.
- 9:40Speaker 4: I'm about to say. One of the most wild stories
- 9:43Speaker 4: I've said in a while. A fictional K pop girl
- 9:46Speaker 4: group is currently in the top slot on the Billboard
- 9:50Speaker 4: Hot one hundred.
- 9:51Speaker 2: You know you'd understand it if you saw the movie.
- 9:53Speaker 2: It's such a good movie.
- 9:54Speaker 4: The song is so good because it gets crazier. For
- 9:57Speaker 4: the first time in more than two decades, a girl
- 10:00Speaker 4: group has the number one song in the country and
- 10:03Speaker 4: it's not even a real girl group. So the song
- 10:06Speaker 4: is called Golden. It's by the group hun Tricks.
- 10:08Speaker 3: Is that how you say it?
- 10:10Speaker 4: It's from the Netflix movie k Pop Demon Hunters. If
- 10:13Speaker 4: you don't know what the song sounds like, here's a clip.
- 10:15Speaker 4: I'm Shine it like a.
- 10:19Speaker 8: Whamn so fun.
- 10:35Speaker 5: I'm not gonna lie it to bop.
- 10:36Speaker 4: So the last girl group to top the Billboard Hot
- 10:38Speaker 4: one hundred was Destiny's Child in two thousand and one
- 10:43Speaker 4: with the song Bootylicious. How Crazy. So this is also
- 10:47Speaker 4: the first time that a K pop girl group has
- 10:49Speaker 4: landed number one as well, so think like Black Pink
- 10:52Speaker 4: never been number one. It just blows my mind. And also,
- 10:56Speaker 4: just to clarify, we're not talking about AI here. It's
- 10:58Speaker 4: not an AI group. It's a fake group of real
- 11:01Speaker 4: people that put together songs for the movie K Pop
- 11:04Speaker 4: Demon Hunters, which is also a hit on Netflix. Everybody's
- 11:08Speaker 4: watching it, everybody's talking about it. If you haven't, Kevin
- 11:11Speaker 4: highly suggests it.
- 11:13Speaker 2: I had no interest in watching it the first time.
- 11:15Speaker 2: We watched it with Molly and my daughter, and we
- 11:17Speaker 2: loved it. We've seen it so many times. To listen
- 11:18Speaker 2: to sound Ricky, you would love the movie. Go watch
- 11:20Speaker 2: the movie.
- 11:20Speaker 4: You keep telling me to have to watch it. So
- 11:22Speaker 4: I'm going to watch it this week one hundred percent.
- 11:23Speaker 4: But just crazy story to tell. I was mind blown
- 11:26Speaker 4: by that. Cheekwood Harvest officially has a return date, which
- 11:30Speaker 4: means we are slowly getting closer and closer to fall.
- 11:32Speaker 4: Cheekwood Harvest is set for Saturday, September thirteenth through Thursday,
- 11:35Speaker 4: October thirtieth and will have their fan favorite Pumpkin Village.
- 11:39Speaker 4: I love that village. It's so cute. Chrisanthemum displays Scarecrow trail.
- 11:44Speaker 4: They're also introducing their new Harvest Nights on Thursdays that
- 11:47Speaker 4: has jack O Lannern's live music and seasonal drinks. I
- 11:50Speaker 4: will for sure be there one of the Thursdays because
- 11:52Speaker 4: that is right up my alley. And good news for moviegoers,
- 11:57Speaker 4: the CEO of AMC Theaters pledged to read use up
- 12:00Speaker 4: to five minutes when it comes to the amount of
- 12:03Speaker 4: pre show movie trailers and commercials. This summer, AMC had
- 12:07Speaker 4: announced that they were going to show between twenty five
- 12:09Speaker 4: and thirty minutes of trailers before the start of a
- 12:11Speaker 4: movie as a new way for theaters to make some revenue,
- 12:14Speaker 4: and in a shock to absolutely no one, everyone hated it.
- 12:17Speaker 4: Everyone hated it. They do not like the experience. So
- 12:20Speaker 4: now they're cutting back on the time that you're going
- 12:22Speaker 4: to have to watch of those little, you know trailers beforehand.
- 12:25Speaker 4: Amrick Sanchez and those are the three things you need
- 12:27Speaker 4: to know?
- 12:28Speaker 3: Thank you so much, Ricky.
- 12:29Speaker 2: Let's place Sabrina Carpenter man Child's her new albums out
- 12:32Speaker 2: soon the end of the month. Right after the song
- 12:35Speaker 2: We're learning, it's time for Zack's facts.
- 12:37Speaker 3: Next down the River one O seven.
- 12:39Speaker 1: Five the River, Ricky, Zach and Menno in the Morning.
- 12:42Speaker 4: The moment you'volved been waiting for. It's Zach's fax on
- 12:44Speaker 4: one of seven five of the River.
- 12:46Speaker 5: I love to start with the quiz.
- 12:47Speaker 7: Do you guys have any idea what the most common
- 12:49Speaker 7: letter in the English language.
- 12:50Speaker 5: Is T E.
- 12:53Speaker 4: It is E.
- 12:55Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 12:55Speaker 7: Apparently the letter E appears in about eleven percent of
- 12:59Speaker 7: all words in the Wish language.
- 13:00Speaker 3: It's crazy, no.
- 13:02Speaker 5: Wonder on wheel of fortune. That's that's your free.
- 13:05Speaker 3: R S T L N E. Yeah, for sure.
- 13:08Speaker 5: And there's your back of the day.
- 13:10Speaker 4: Also, a lot of those ease are silent. That's kind
- 13:12Speaker 4: of why I figured it was.
- 13:13Speaker 5: That's true useless ease.
- 13:16Speaker 1: Ricky, Zach and men in the morning.
- 13:18Speaker 2: I'm starting to worry that I'm doing laundry wrong. I've
- 13:20Speaker 2: been doing laundry wrong my whole life. It's one of
- 13:23Speaker 2: seven five of the River. I do all of the
- 13:25Speaker 2: laundry in the Mano household. I am the laundry guy.
- 13:28Speaker 2: I don't mind doing laundry, happy to do it. But
- 13:30Speaker 2: am I supposed to be separating my towels and doing
- 13:33Speaker 2: those separately?
- 13:34Speaker 5: Kevin?
- 13:35Speaker 4: That's why you don't mind doing laundry. You're doing it.
- 13:37Speaker 2: Wrong, it all together? Do you not separate the whites?
- 13:42Speaker 2: I separate the whites and the color stuff.
- 13:43Speaker 7: Okay, at least you're separating the colors, but like the fabrics, I.
- 13:47Speaker 3: Don't separate the fabrics, Kevin.
- 13:49Speaker 4: Do you dry everything like if.
- 13:51Speaker 2: It's a delicate of my wife's, I'll take it out instead.
- 13:54Speaker 5: Of Why did you like that?
- 13:56Speaker 4: You're literally doing so much wrong, but you just throw
- 13:59Speaker 4: the towel in with all of your laundry. Yes, we
- 14:02Speaker 4: gotta talk about this, Kevin, because that's wrong. I'm gonna
- 14:05Speaker 4: tell you why it's wrong, but I want to hear
- 14:07Speaker 4: if anybody else does this first six one, five, seven, three, seven, nine,
- 14:10Speaker 4: one oh seven. Do you separate your towels when you
- 14:13Speaker 4: do laundry? No, just such a wrong answer.
- 14:18Speaker 1: One seven Ricky and Zach and men in the.
- 14:22Speaker 3: Chapelone it's the river.
- 14:24Speaker 2: I was asking Ricky and Zach and everybody for some
- 14:26Speaker 2: advice in doing laundry. I just found out that maybe
- 14:29Speaker 2: I'm supposed to be separating my towels from the rest
- 14:31Speaker 2: of my clothes. Sandra and Nashville, do you do that?
- 14:34Speaker 2: You separate them?
- 14:35Speaker 1: No?
- 14:36Speaker 6: I watch everything together.
- 14:37Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 14:39Speaker 6: And why?
- 14:41Speaker 4: Okay, Well, I think that you're doing it wrong if
- 14:43Speaker 4: you don't separate your towels, Sandra.
- 14:46Speaker 6: I've been doing it all my life, and I never
- 14:49Speaker 6: had a problem with skin or my clothes getting damaged
- 14:53Speaker 6: or anything. I think that's just a lot of funk.
- 14:55Speaker 4: All right, whatever you say, I'll let you live the
- 14:57Speaker 4: way you gotta live, Sandra, thank you for calling in.
- 15:00Speaker 3: You guys understand Easton.
- 15:02Speaker 2: Uh, let's start to Easton. Let's get the youth of
- 15:04Speaker 2: America's opinion on this.
- 15:05Speaker 3: Easton. How do you do laundry?
- 15:07Speaker 2: We separate the towels and washrags, and we put the
- 15:11Speaker 2: clothes together, but we don't put the washrags in the
- 15:14Speaker 2: towel together.
- 15:15Speaker 5: I think that makes sense, right, That's how I do it.
- 15:18Speaker 7: I don't do laundry, so I can't tell you for definite.
- 15:21Speaker 7: My boyfriend and I have been together for eight years
- 15:24Speaker 7: and I haven't touched the washing machine since we started dating.
- 15:26Speaker 5: Insanity, But in my mind, that makes the most sense.
- 15:30Speaker 4: Zach'su's logic, for one, why means just you go out
- 15:34Speaker 4: of town, who's gonna do your laundry?
- 15:35Speaker 6: You're at it underwear or clothes?
- 15:37Speaker 5: I buy more, wait till it gets back.
- 15:40Speaker 3: Yeah, don't test him, Easton, He's got an answer for
- 15:43Speaker 3: every there.
- 15:43Speaker 4: Just know to not live that way, Easton. Know how
- 15:46Speaker 4: to do your own laundry. It's very important we keep
- 15:48Speaker 4: the fudgy stuff off our clothes because the fabric and
- 15:52Speaker 4: the towels.
- 15:53Speaker 1: Uh.
- 15:54Speaker 2: See that makes sense too, Okay, Yeah, that makes sense Easton.
- 15:57Speaker 3: Thanks for the education, Thanks for calling. You're welcome.
- 16:01Speaker 4: We'll understand the logic of throwing them all together. And
- 16:04Speaker 4: I'm gonna tell you why, Kevin. Sure, I'm gonna tell
- 16:06Speaker 4: you why I separate them. I typically, and this is
- 16:09Speaker 4: a bad habit that I have. I wait so long
- 16:12Speaker 4: to do my laundry that I end up having multiple
- 16:15Speaker 4: loads of laundry that I need to do. Okay, And
- 16:18Speaker 4: the idea of throwing my towels in with everything else
- 16:22Speaker 4: seems insane because they take up so much space. So
- 16:25Speaker 4: if you have like three or four towels, they can
- 16:28Speaker 4: all go in one load, toss them all in. You
- 16:31Speaker 4: don't have to worry about it, and then you can
- 16:32Speaker 4: add more of your actual clothing into the laundry that
- 16:36Speaker 4: you need to do before I got to.
- 16:38Speaker 7: Wash to the towel Ian, Yes, and normally towels are
- 16:42Speaker 7: the last thing that I need to really care about
- 16:44Speaker 7: because I have a lot of towels.
- 16:45Speaker 2: That way, I see I do a load every single
- 16:48Speaker 2: night because we're a family of four.
- 16:49Speaker 3: We've got all the clothes, so it's like one all
- 16:52Speaker 3: of our.
- 16:52Speaker 2: Stuff plus the towels, whatever towels we've produced fit nicely
- 16:56Speaker 2: in one.
- 16:57Speaker 3: So space is not the issue for me.
- 16:59Speaker 4: It's insane that you do laundry every single day. That
- 17:01Speaker 4: is my I agree, my worst sight, Mary, I hate.
- 17:04Speaker 3: I hate my worst Nightmary is letting you build up
- 17:06Speaker 3: like you do.
- 17:08Speaker 2: But is that is there more reasons to separate the towels.
- 17:11Speaker 3: I'm still not convinced.
- 17:12Speaker 2: Six one five, seven, three seven nine one O seven one.
- 17:15Speaker 1: O seven five Ricky, Zach and Menno in the morning.
- 17:19Speaker 4: Kevin does not separate his laundry the proper way. He
- 17:22Speaker 4: throws his towels in with all his other laundry like
- 17:25Speaker 4: an absolute psychopath. It's Ricky Zacamano in the morning on
- 17:29Speaker 4: one O seven five of the River, Erica and Smurna.
- 17:31Speaker 4: Do you separate your towels from the rest of your
- 17:33Speaker 4: laundry or do you throw everything all in at once?
- 17:36Speaker 4: I do what Kevin does to a point, because I
- 17:38Speaker 4: have certain towels that are know what to be.
- 17:42Speaker 6: But any other towels I just throws.
- 17:45Speaker 7: Okay, but here's the thing outside of like bathroom towels,
- 17:47Speaker 7: what about like hand towels and the kitchen and stuff,
- 17:49Speaker 7: because there's cleaning products on them. There's so many things
- 17:52Speaker 7: that could be bad for your skin or bad for
- 17:54Speaker 7: your other clothes of you just throwing them all on
- 17:56Speaker 7: the same load.
- 17:57Speaker 4: I'm just throwing the clothes.
- 18:00Speaker 2: There's there's laundry detergents, dec I mean, they're all getting cleaned.
- 18:03Speaker 3: It's not like you're just a scoop.
- 18:06Speaker 5: Of fabulosa that you just clean the kitchen with.
- 18:11Speaker 4: People sleep on fabuloso. Erica. We don't agree with you,
- 18:14Speaker 4: Kevin does, but just know that you at least have
- 18:17Speaker 4: one person on your side.
- 18:21Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 18:22Speaker 4: Laura Hendersonville. Do you separate your towels with the rest
- 18:25Speaker 4: of your clothing. You throw it all together.
- 18:27Speaker 6: Okay, you're gonna hate me. Okay, No, I do not
- 18:30Speaker 6: separate it because look, I've been doing laundry for a
- 18:34Speaker 6: long time. I've never had an issue with not separating them, Laura.
- 18:41Speaker 7: Makes sense to me in my mind, the different texture
- 18:44Speaker 7: of like you're not supposed to wash jeans with certain
- 18:47Speaker 7: other clothes either, because the denim can ruin the other
- 18:50Speaker 7: like texture.
- 18:50Speaker 5: Of the clothes. That's how I feel about town.
- 18:52Speaker 6: Yeah, but I get that, and I understand that, But also,
- 18:57Speaker 6: like it's been such a problem that you've really noticed.
- 19:00Speaker 3: Laura, I'm with you.
- 19:01Speaker 2: I do laundry all the time, and I've never had
- 19:03Speaker 2: I washed jeans with whatever, and I've never had them
- 19:05Speaker 2: ruin anything.
- 19:06Speaker 3: Zach over here.
- 19:07Speaker 2: Has never done laundry once in his life, and he's
- 19:09Speaker 2: dishing out advice like.
- 19:10Speaker 5: He's he's mister Laundry.
- 19:11Speaker 4: He's right, but he's right. I don't know how you
- 19:14Speaker 4: know so much about laundry without ever actually doing it.
- 19:16Speaker 4: I'm starting to learn. I think he knows so much
- 19:18Speaker 4: about laundry because he knows how to actually do it.
- 19:20Speaker 4: He just won't tell his significant other doesn't. It's weaponized
- 19:24Speaker 4: and confidence is what you're doing.
- 19:26Speaker 5: No, here's the things I know how to do it.
- 19:27Speaker 7: I used to do it before my boyfriend and I
- 19:29Speaker 7: started dating, and then he got upset with the way
- 19:32Speaker 7: that I folded clothes, and I said, well, if you
- 19:33Speaker 7: want to fold him that way, then you're doing all
- 19:35Speaker 7: the laundry.
- 19:36Speaker 5: So it's his fault.
- 19:37Speaker 3: Well, here's my argument. He's not right.
- 19:40Speaker 2: These are lies perpetrated by the big laundry industry to
- 19:43Speaker 2: sell more detergent. I've been washing jeans with other clothes,
- 19:47Speaker 2: so it was Laura for years. We've never wanted a thing.
- 19:49Speaker 2: So he's not right.
- 19:51Speaker 6: Never damaged anything, No, sell more detergent.
- 19:56Speaker 3: It's big detergent, guys.
- 19:57Speaker 4: I'm telling you, Laura, thank you so much for calling in.
- 19:59Speaker 4: We appreciate you.
- 20:01Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 20:01Speaker 5: Bye.
- 20:02Speaker 3: I've learned nothing here today.
- 20:04Speaker 4: Kevin's just shaking his head because it feels like half
- 20:07Speaker 4: the people agree and half the people disagree with it.
- 20:09Speaker 3: I'm gonna keep living how I live.
- 20:10Speaker 4: He thank Kevin.
- 20:11Speaker 5: Live your life.
- 20:12Speaker 3: Yes, thank you.
- 20:13Speaker 2: Katy Perry Tickets Next with the Game of the Day
- 20:15Speaker 2: one seven.
- 20:17Speaker 1: Rickie, Zach and Meno in the morning.
- 20:19Speaker 4: Okay, we're gonna play Kevin Manno's Game of the Day
- 20:21Speaker 4: on one O seven five the River. It's a Katy
- 20:23Speaker 4: Perry pop quiz for tickets to see her here in
- 20:26Speaker 4: Nashville next week. I bridged down Arena on August nineteenth.
- 20:29Speaker 2: Let's say good morning to Anna in Murphy's Burro. Good morning, Anna,
- 20:33Speaker 2: good morning.
- 20:33Speaker 3: I understand you are in your garage because your kid
- 20:36Speaker 3: is loud. Is that right?
- 20:38Speaker 2: Okay, Well, hopefully the garage brings you some some good
- 20:42Speaker 2: luck here. You need two out of three of these questions.
- 20:44Speaker 2: All the questions are about Katy Perry. Hopefully you're a
- 20:46Speaker 2: big fan. You get two out of three of them,
- 20:48Speaker 2: you get the tickets.
- 20:48Speaker 3: Okay, okay, fingers cross.
- 20:50Speaker 2: Fingers crossed crossing all Anna and Murphy's Burrow. Your game
- 20:53Speaker 2: starts right now.
- 20:55Speaker 4: You know what.
- 20:56Speaker 3: This one's actually not that hard.
- 20:57Speaker 2: In August of twenty twenty, Katie gave birth to her daughter, Daisy,
- 21:02Speaker 2: who is Daisy's famous father.
- 21:08Speaker 5: All right, point on the board, here we go.
- 21:11Speaker 3: Question two. You get this, You win super easy.
- 21:13Speaker 2: What Katy Perry song starts with the following lyrics, You
- 21:18Speaker 2: think I'm pretty without any makeup?
- 21:20Speaker 6: On.
- 21:20Speaker 3: You think I'm funny when I tell the punchline wrong?
- 21:29Speaker 5: Sing it?
- 21:31Speaker 6: You men?
- 21:40Speaker 4: You know you went into the garage for some peace
- 21:42Speaker 4: and quiet and you still need to think that.
- 21:45Speaker 6: Yeah right, I'm like, what is it? I knew the
- 21:47Speaker 6: first one.
- 21:47Speaker 4: Right off the bat, But that's all right, And you
- 21:49Speaker 4: are getting these tickets to see Katy Perry next week
- 21:52Speaker 4: at bridge Stown Arena. Three days.
- 21:55Speaker 3: All right, here we go.
- 21:56Speaker 2: We appreciate you starting your day with us, and now
- 21:59Speaker 2: you're going to start this morning warning with three things.
- 22:01Speaker 3: Ricky's got those for you. What's going on?
- 22:03Speaker 4: Joe Jonas has spilled the beans. Camp Rock three is
- 22:06Speaker 4: officially happening. The most recent hint of this was Demi
- 22:10Speaker 4: Levado joining the Jonas Brothers on stage for their opening
- 22:13Speaker 4: night of Greetings from Your Hometown tour. Joe and Demi
- 22:16Speaker 4: did a bunch of their Camp Rock hits. We talked
- 22:18Speaker 4: about it on the show, played you a clip. Then yesterday,
- 22:21Speaker 4: the Jonas brothers are on the Hot Ones podcast. They're
- 22:23Speaker 4: spinoff Hot Ones Versus, so each of them face off
- 22:28Speaker 4: challenging each other with personal questions they can opt out
- 22:30Speaker 4: of answering by eating another wing. So Nick Jonas said
- 22:35Speaker 4: to Joe, bite into the death Wing or read your
- 22:39Speaker 4: most recent notes app entry. Joe opened up his phone
- 22:43Speaker 4: and his notes app said quote read Camp Rock three script.
- 22:48Speaker 4: He immediately apologized to Dizzy for spoiling the secret, but
- 22:51Speaker 4: added that it's the truth. It's literally right here. He's like, look,
- 22:54Speaker 4: you can see it's in my notes. So now we
- 22:56Speaker 4: know it's officially happening, all because Joe his mouth. But
- 23:01Speaker 4: thank you Joe for saying that, because now I'm excited
- 23:04Speaker 4: to know that it's actually happening. There's a lot of
- 23:05Speaker 4: resurgence of old Disney, you know, movies, TV shows, Wizards
- 23:10Speaker 4: of Waverley Place head Selena Gomez, Hannah Montana, she's coming
- 23:14Speaker 4: up on her anniversary, and Miley Cyrus has said she
- 23:16Speaker 4: is doing something big for Hannah Montana. We are in
- 23:19Speaker 4: our nostalgic era as millennials, and they're all coming back.
- 23:23Speaker 4: Love to see it. The north side of Centennial Park
- 23:26Speaker 4: is closed for construction for multi phase upgrades, so they're
- 23:30Speaker 4: undergoing a huge ten million dollar renovation on its north side,
- 23:34Speaker 4: which is expected to continue through fall twenty twenty six.
- 23:37Speaker 4: The project includes transformation of the current event structure near
- 23:42Speaker 4: the park's police building. There's going to be a new
- 23:44Speaker 4: lawn there, a conversion of the former clubhouse into a
- 23:48Speaker 4: nonprofit cafe, a bunch of other things that they are
- 23:51Speaker 4: doing to upgrade the space and make it really nice.
- 23:53Speaker 4: So just know that there are a bunch of construction
- 23:56Speaker 4: phases going on and there's a lot of closures to roads,
- 23:59Speaker 4: so you may not be able to take your normal
- 24:01Speaker 4: pathway into the park. Just know there are plenty of
- 24:04Speaker 4: open entry ways for you to go and plenty of
- 24:06Speaker 4: parking still and unfortunately, the Farmer's Almanac forecasts chill, snow
- 24:13Speaker 4: repeat this summer, is what they're saying. So winter twenty
- 24:16Speaker 4: twenty five to twenty twenty six is gonna be long,
- 24:19Speaker 4: it's gonna be cold, it's gonna be an old fashioned
- 24:21Speaker 4: season of winter. It predicts that the cold is not
- 24:23Speaker 4: gonna hit hit the Deep South like it did last year,
- 24:27Speaker 4: but northern Plains, Great Lakes, New England area is gonna
- 24:30Speaker 4: expect a lot of snowstorms that can go well into April.
- 24:33Speaker 4: So just keep in mind that it's gonna be It's
- 24:35Speaker 4: gonna be a doozy for a lot of places around
- 24:38Speaker 4: the country, so prepare. Hopefully you know the city's preparing
- 24:41Speaker 4: for that as well, because we know they're not the
- 24:43Speaker 4: best at that. Fingers crossed. I'm Fricke Sanchez and those
- 24:47Speaker 4: are the three things you need to know.
- 24:48Speaker 3: We've got our one plow out going around. Yeah, thank you, Ricky.
- 24:53Speaker 2: We're gonna play gig Prez coming up in a bit.
- 24:55Speaker 2: We're gonna tell you why the middle seat on an
- 24:57Speaker 2: airplane might actually be.
- 24:59Speaker 3: The best stick with us. We're going to do it
- 25:01Speaker 3: next summer.
- 25:01Speaker 1: River the River, Rickie's Zach and Meno in the morning.
- 25:06Speaker 3: We're talking about airplane seating.
- 25:08Speaker 2: Which seat would you choose if you get to walk
- 25:10Speaker 2: onto a plane and just have your your pick of
- 25:12Speaker 2: the whole plane. There's a travel site claiming the middle
- 25:15Speaker 2: seat is the best, and we don't.
- 25:16Speaker 4: Get it rightly. Is the middle seat on the plane
- 25:19Speaker 4: the best seat? Because this place the travel site view
- 25:21Speaker 4: from the wing, They gave a pitch for why the
- 25:24Speaker 4: middle seat might be the best seat on the airplane.
- 25:26Speaker 5: Okay, try and convince me just first, I want to.
- 25:29Speaker 4: Get a consensus. Is in this room you both don't
- 25:31Speaker 4: believe it's the best seat on the plane.
- 25:33Speaker 5: No, I'm an isle kind of guy, ile, kind of guy.
- 25:35Speaker 4: For Zach Kevin, I'm a window because I can hold
- 25:38Speaker 4: my pee.
- 25:38Speaker 2: I don't have to get up at all. So I'd
- 25:40Speaker 2: rather just sit and do my own thing than have
- 25:42Speaker 2: to get up for other people.
- 25:43Speaker 4: Okay, I'm a wild card here. I don't really care
- 25:45Speaker 4: which one I'm in. I'm small, so like I can
- 25:48Speaker 4: fit in the middle seat, like I'm four to eleven,
- 25:50Speaker 4: so like I don't need to worry about leg room
- 25:51Speaker 4: or anything like that. Like, I'm fine, but I don't
- 25:54Speaker 4: love the middle seat. So the pitch that they gave
- 25:57Speaker 4: was that if you are in the middle seat, it's
- 25:59Speaker 4: the best because you get both armrests. Airlines sometimes offer
- 26:03Speaker 4: rewards to middle seaters, like what you get partial benefits
- 26:07Speaker 4: of the window and aisle seats, which that one I
- 26:10Speaker 4: kind of get.
- 26:11Speaker 3: That way, you get neither. No, you're you're in neither
- 26:14Speaker 3: of those things.
- 26:15Speaker 5: You can still kind of see out the window.
- 26:17Speaker 4: You can kind of see out the window. You don't
- 26:18Speaker 4: have to reach over two people to get your drink,
- 26:20Speaker 4: like kind of get it. You only has to ask
- 26:21Speaker 4: one person a move if you need to go to
- 26:23Speaker 4: the bathroom, and it doubles your chances of making a
- 26:25Speaker 4: new friend.
- 26:27Speaker 5: That's the last same no, and they think that's a perk.
- 26:31Speaker 1: Zach.
- 26:31Speaker 4: You make friends on the plane all the time.
- 26:33Speaker 5: Though, I do, but I don't have to be in
- 26:35Speaker 5: the middle seat to do it.
- 26:37Speaker 4: That's true, That's very true. That is probably the most
- 26:40Speaker 4: insane one. I don't know who's going on a plane
- 26:42Speaker 4: saying I want to make a new friend today, so
- 26:44Speaker 4: let us sit in the middle seat.
- 26:45Speaker 2: I will also say if I was in the middle seat,
- 26:47Speaker 2: maybe it's because I'm a people pleaser, I don't know,
- 26:49Speaker 2: but I would use neither arm rest.
- 26:50Speaker 3: I wouldn't use both arm rests. I would just sit
- 26:52Speaker 3: there with my leg my hands on my.
- 26:54Speaker 4: On my lap. Okay, I get that you kind of
- 26:57Speaker 4: sit in a weird, awkward position. I do think that
- 26:59Speaker 4: if you're in the middle seat you should get an armress, though.
- 27:02Speaker 3: Yeah, you probably should, but I don't know which one
- 27:04Speaker 3: that you get.
- 27:05Speaker 4: So it depends on the plane, because some planes have
- 27:07Speaker 4: the armrest on the left side for the person at
- 27:10Speaker 4: the window seat, like sometimes they give them an armress.
- 27:13Speaker 5: And sometimes there's not right so all of you should.
- 27:15Speaker 1: Shift to the left.
- 27:16Speaker 4: That's your armress, so that the person in the aisle
- 27:18Speaker 4: seat doesn't get their right arm hit by the cart.
- 27:20Speaker 4: I see it. If that's not the case, you still
- 27:22Speaker 4: deserve an armress. And I think the middle or the
- 27:25Speaker 4: window seater doesn't get an armress, then I.
- 27:27Speaker 3: Guess what they're arguing.
- 27:28Speaker 6: Though.
- 27:28Speaker 3: You might as well just share the arm rest with
- 27:30Speaker 3: your new best friends.
- 27:31Speaker 5: Just hold him the NFF.
- 27:33Speaker 3: You might as well just lock arms together.
- 27:39Speaker 4: Rickey zach and men in the Morning know how much
- 27:41Speaker 4: we love a good debate on one O seven five
- 27:43Speaker 4: the River, specifically Ricky Zachamno in the Morning. Every question
- 27:47Speaker 4: that we ever pose turns into a debate, just like
- 27:50Speaker 4: our daily devil tap Shock her.
- 27:52Speaker 3: This is actually kind of a friend of ours. This
- 27:54Speaker 3: is Elizabethane, Well not kind of it is.
- 27:59Speaker 4: She is on our sister station in DC, and she
- 28:02Speaker 4: was talking about this, you know, very classic debate about cookies.
- 28:06Speaker 4: Do you like hard cookies or soft cookies?
- 28:08Speaker 3: Okay? Here it is today's daily double taps, where you
- 28:10Speaker 3: lie cookies has to be really salt.
- 28:12Speaker 4: I don't get no chrismy cookies.
- 28:15Speaker 3: Yeah, christy cookies.
- 28:16Speaker 4: Okay, I want only crunchry cookies.
- 28:20Speaker 1: Okay, yeah, dunke it. And then it gets cold.
- 28:26Speaker 2: I wonder why they make crispy cookies, because who likes those?
- 28:29Speaker 4: Hi, give me all the crumbs all over my body.
- 28:33Speaker 5: It's so nice to meet you.
- 28:35Speaker 2: Yeah, and rummy Elizabeth, And your friend is the one
- 28:39Speaker 2: that likes the crunchy cookies.
- 28:41Speaker 7: Yeah, she apparently wants the crunchy dust all over her
- 28:44Speaker 7: body in honestly hard past I do remember growing up
- 28:47Speaker 7: and my mom would always call them coffee dunkers, Like
- 28:49Speaker 7: if she overcooked them and they were a little bit burnt,
- 28:52Speaker 7: she would always call them coffee dunkers.
- 28:53Speaker 4: Okay for me, it depends on the cookie. Depends on
- 28:56Speaker 4: the cookie. If it's a chocolate chip cookie, I want
- 28:58Speaker 4: it to be hard because I want to dunke it
- 29:00Speaker 4: in milk and make it soft. Yeah, but not too
- 29:03Speaker 4: soft where it falls apart. There's a method to that madness,
- 29:06Speaker 4: a very specific method to that madness. Any other cookie,
- 29:09Speaker 4: I don't mind it being soft, Like if it's an
- 29:11Speaker 4: oatmeal raisin, gotta be soft.
- 29:13Speaker 2: I do feel like coffee dunkers would be a good
- 29:15Speaker 2: name for a like a restaurant, like a cooking place,
- 29:18Speaker 2: a restaurant, but like a like dunkin donuts.
- 29:20Speaker 3: You know, this could be cookie cookies, but coffee dunkers.
