Daily Devotions; Things Sacred - June 22, 2025
Scripture Focus: 2 Kings 23:4–7
"He removed from the temple of the Lord all the articles made for Baal and Asherah… and tore down the quarters of the male shrine prostitutes who were in the temple of the Lord."
In today’s devotion, Pastor Sumrall urges believers to recover a sense of reverence for sacred spaces dedicated to the worship of God. Drawing from King Josiah’s bold reforms in 2 Kings 23, we’re reminded that Satan always seeks to desecrate what is holy. It's time to honor what has been set apart for the Lord.
