- 0:00Speaker 1: Three things you need to right.
- 0:03Speaker 2: Just after six o'clock on this Thursday morning, good morning friends,
- 0:06Speaker 2: Ricky Sanchez has those three things.
- 0:08Speaker 3: The fire in LA has now expanded to five separate
- 0:12Speaker 3: ones throughout the area. I did see a report early
- 0:15Speaker 3: this morning that there was a sixth one in Studio
- 0:17Speaker 3: City that may have been taken care of, but as
- 0:20Speaker 3: of right now last reported, the fires are still at
- 0:23Speaker 3: zero percent containment and spreading. So as of right now,
- 0:27Speaker 3: five people have lost their lives. Over eleven hundred structures
- 0:30Speaker 3: have been destroyed, including homes and businesses, making the first
- 0:34Speaker 3: fire that started everything, the Palisades Fire, the most destructive
- 0:37Speaker 3: wildfire in LA history. At least one point five million
- 0:41Speaker 3: customers in California are without power, mostly because they're trying
- 0:44Speaker 3: to prevent other fires. Early estimates say damaged from these
- 0:48Speaker 3: wildfires could amount to be between fifty two billion and
- 0:52Speaker 3: fifty seven billion dollars unbelievable. Both Kevin and I have
- 0:56Speaker 3: lived in LA, so this hits home for us, but
- 0:59Speaker 3: everyone here at one of seven five of the river
- 1:01Speaker 3: is thinking about everyone living there and anyone living here
- 1:03Speaker 3: who has loved ones there. We've both been frantically trying
- 1:07Speaker 3: to contact friends and keep up with them to make
- 1:10Speaker 3: sure that they're okay. It's it's a really scary situation.
- 1:13Speaker 3: I'm going to keep you updated with everything that we know.
- 1:15Speaker 3: SAG Award nominees are out.
- 1:18Speaker 4: Here's what you need to know.
- 1:19Speaker 3: Kristen Bell is going to host it live on Netflix Sunday,
- 1:22Speaker 3: February twenty third, days after winning her first Golden Globe.
- 1:27Speaker 4: Demi Moore she scored.
- 1:28Speaker 3: Her first Individual SAG Award nomination for her lead role
- 1:32Speaker 3: in The Substance.
- 1:33Speaker 1: Did you see the movie yet? I have not seen
- 1:34Speaker 1: any right, It's so crazy.
- 1:35Speaker 3: I want to see it even more though, now that
- 1:37Speaker 3: she's getting all these awards for it, I really feel like,
- 1:39Speaker 3: obviously she did something great here.
- 1:41Speaker 4: Everyone knew.
- 1:42Speaker 3: Cynthia Rivo and Ariana Grande we're gonna get nods. But
- 1:45Speaker 3: Jonathan Bailey also was in the mix for Outstanding Performance
- 1:48Speaker 3: by a Male Actor in.
- 1:49Speaker 4: A Supporting Role.
- 1:51Speaker 3: Wicked leads this year's film nominations with five nods, followed
- 1:55Speaker 3: by A Complete Unknown with four. On the TV side,
- 1:58Speaker 3: Shogun leads this year SAG Awards with five nominations, followed
- 2:03Speaker 3: by The Bear, which I love. The Bear is one
- 2:05Speaker 3: of my favorite ever and the Antiques and Garden Show
- 2:09Speaker 3: of Nashville is returning to Music City Center at the
- 2:11Speaker 3: end of the month, So January thirty first to February second,
- 2:14Speaker 3: you can explore one hundred and fifty at more than
- 2:17Speaker 3: one hundred and fifty exhibits of timeless treasures. There's art,
- 2:22Speaker 3: unique horticulture displays. There'll be cocktail gatherings, lecture series, and
- 2:26Speaker 3: a keynote presentation by Brooke Shields. Tickets benefit beloved local
- 2:32Speaker 3: organizations like cheek Wood and Econ Charities. So if you
- 2:35Speaker 3: want to grab your tickets, you just go to Antiques
- 2:37Speaker 3: and gardenshow dot com. I'm RICKA Sanchez and those are
- 2:40Speaker 3: the three things you.
- 2:41Speaker 4: Need to know.
- 2:42Speaker 5: One oh seven five of the River, Ricky, Zach and
- 2:44Speaker 5: Mano in the Morning.
- 2:45Speaker 3: The New Year, that means we got a lot of
- 2:47Speaker 3: new spots opening up here in Nashville, and we love
- 2:49Speaker 3: to support local here on Ricky, Zach and Mano in
- 2:52Speaker 3: the Morning. So we have a list of a few
- 2:54Speaker 3: places that we think you should try out, some restaurants,
- 2:57Speaker 3: some ones that we're really excited about.
- 2:59Speaker 4: The Henry in twelve.
- 3:00Speaker 1: South that's on the top of my list.
- 3:03Speaker 3: Hearing about it everybody keeps talking about it's supposed to
- 3:05Speaker 3: be really great for big groups too, like big group
- 3:08Speaker 3: birthday parties.
- 3:08Speaker 4: Kind of this is good.
- 3:09Speaker 6: It's the top of Kevin's list. That means we have
- 3:12Speaker 6: to go with him.
- 3:13Speaker 1: Yeah, I was gonna go with my family.
- 3:15Speaker 2: But yes, while you guys all family, I will say,
- 3:18Speaker 2: while we're talking about twelve South, there's also a Mexican
- 3:20Speaker 2: spot right there called Massaro, I believe, right there next
- 3:23Speaker 2: to the Henry, And then down the road a bit
- 3:24Speaker 2: there's Fonda.
- 3:25Speaker 1: So a bunch of places popping up in twelve South.
- 3:28Speaker 3: Love that, Love that, butter Lamp, Bread and Beverage in
- 3:31Speaker 3: East is one that I keep hearing about.
- 3:32Speaker 4: It's a wine bar.
- 3:34Speaker 3: It looks really nice, like a very nice experience, like
- 3:36Speaker 3: intimate experience. Fancy pants also in East, they opened last year.
- 3:41Speaker 3: I've been so is Kevin so good?
- 3:44Speaker 1: Is it all plant based or mostly? Okay? Yeah?
- 3:47Speaker 3: So RK for vegetarians even if you're not a vegetarian,
- 3:50Speaker 3: because I'm not. Everything tastes amazing. You didn't even know
- 3:53Speaker 3: that you're eating strange.
- 3:54Speaker 2: And they had a drink called Jorts I think a
- 3:58Speaker 2: cocktail made with Miller high I like.
- 4:00Speaker 7: That it was so good, which is perfect for Kevin
- 4:02Speaker 7: because if you've never seen them before, he wears georts
- 4:05Speaker 7: every single day during the summer.
- 4:06Speaker 3: Yeah, once it gets even slightly a little bit warm, George,
- 4:10Speaker 3: here comes the legs.
- 4:11Speaker 1: Kevin my de.
- 4:12Speaker 3: La Vida in the gulch. This is one that everybody
- 4:16Speaker 3: was talking about it. We're talking about like casual but
- 4:18Speaker 3: upscale Mexican food. I have that one very high on
- 4:22Speaker 3: my legs.
- 4:23Speaker 4: I really need to go check it out.
- 4:24Speaker 3: I couldn't get a reservation when it first opened, though,
- 4:26Speaker 3: because everybody was so exciting.
- 4:28Speaker 6: You know it's good.
- 4:29Speaker 2: Yeah, and that's close to home for you and the
- 4:30Speaker 2: goal Yeah.
- 4:32Speaker 4: Sweet Milk and Donaldson.
- 4:34Speaker 3: It was created by the people behind Martin's Barbecue, which
- 4:36Speaker 3: is one of my favorite barbecue spots.
- 4:38Speaker 6: You know it's going to be good, then.
- 4:39Speaker 3: I know, you know you're going to want to try
- 4:41Speaker 3: that one out. There are so many different restaurants just
- 4:44Speaker 3: popping up all over Nashville.
- 4:46Speaker 4: We love to see it.
- 4:46Speaker 3: The growth is amazing. Is there anything else on your
- 4:48Speaker 3: guys list that you want to go to?
- 4:50Speaker 8: So?
- 4:50Speaker 6: I really want to do TiO Fun.
- 4:52Speaker 7: It's a small Mexican restaurant in North Nashville, and it
- 4:55Speaker 7: looks really fantastic. My cousin went and said it was
- 4:58Speaker 7: really really good. So fun is at the top of
- 5:00Speaker 7: my list.
- 5:01Speaker 4: I love that, I will say.
- 5:02Speaker 2: I mean, yes, it's great to go to all these
- 5:04Speaker 2: new places and support local, but don't forget about your
- 5:06Speaker 2: old favorite haunts as well, because the worst is when
- 5:09Speaker 2: you know, this growth is so massive that all these
- 5:10Speaker 2: old places are forgotten and then they eventually closed because
- 5:13Speaker 2: they can't keep up with the raising ren prices and everything.
- 5:15Speaker 1: So just support local.
- 5:16Speaker 7: Kevin is talking about his favorite Lady Birdtacos, so please
- 5:19Speaker 7: still go to Lady Lady Birtaco closes.
- 5:22Speaker 1: I am moving.
- 5:24Speaker 9: Ricky Zach and minnow in the morning on one of
- 5:27Speaker 9: the river.
- 5:28Speaker 3: Zach is the worst kind of snow prepper that you
- 5:32Speaker 3: could imagine existing.
- 5:33Speaker 6: I don't know why you're saying that.
- 5:35Speaker 3: It's Ricky Zachamano in the morning on one O seven
- 5:37Speaker 3: five the river. As you know by now, Middle Tennessee
- 5:40Speaker 3: is getting hit with the snowstorm tomorrow. So all day
- 5:42Speaker 3: tomorrow is supposed to snow. There's supposed to be a
- 5:44Speaker 3: decent amount. Some places are supposed to get six inches,
- 5:47Speaker 3: you know, it's gonna be.
- 5:48Speaker 4: Ascent amount of snow.
- 5:49Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 5:50Speaker 3: So Zach, yesterday went to how many grocery stores?
- 5:54Speaker 6: Just three?
- 5:55Speaker 4: Just three?
- 5:56Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 5:56Speaker 6: I went to Costco, Aldi and Kroger.
- 5:58Speaker 1: I will say that's kind of a normal day for me.
- 6:00Speaker 2: I'm bopping around to all the grocery stores all the time,
- 6:04Speaker 2: but not panic buying.
- 6:05Speaker 1: I'm not hoarding.
- 6:06Speaker 3: This is also the third time this week that you've
- 6:08Speaker 3: gone to the grocery.
- 6:09Speaker 6: That is correct.
- 6:10Speaker 7: I do go almost every single day because I don't
- 6:12Speaker 7: know what I'm gonna want for dinner until that day. Like,
- 6:15Speaker 7: I can't prep So.
- 6:16Speaker 2: What you just see everything? What you just get everything
- 6:18Speaker 2: in advance. You're just talking up on every possible food.
- 6:20Speaker 6: No, okay, So I.
- 6:21Speaker 7: Went previously in the week to make dinner because I
- 6:24Speaker 7: don't know what I want until Monday gets here. Then
- 6:25Speaker 7: that's what I want from Monday's dinner. But I went
- 6:28Speaker 7: for this weekend to get stuff for chili and be
- 6:30Speaker 7: stroging off and stuff like stuff to keep at home
- 6:33Speaker 7: and keep you warm when it's cold outside.
- 6:35Speaker 4: Three different grocery stores all that you.
- 6:37Speaker 6: Didn't have any cream and mushroom soups.
- 6:39Speaker 3: I had to go to Kroger you do realize though,
- 6:41Speaker 3: that like, while we are supposed to get a decent
- 6:44Speaker 3: amount of snow, that you're not gonna be trapped in
- 6:47Speaker 3: your home for six weeks.
- 6:48Speaker 6: Well, I'm gonna be trapped in the house until Monday
- 6:50Speaker 6: at least.
- 6:51Speaker 4: Until Monday at least.
- 6:53Speaker 3: And yeah, a little dramatic to get maximum four inches here.
- 6:57Speaker 7: Only four inches. We have like literally two snowplows and
- 7:02Speaker 7: they lost the keys to them.
- 7:04Speaker 4: I think we have so dramatic.
- 7:07Speaker 2: I think we have a dozen snowplows, and they did
- 7:10Speaker 2: order more, but they're just not here exactly exactly.
- 7:13Speaker 1: So it is going to be just like last year,
- 7:14Speaker 1: in the year before.
- 7:15Speaker 3: I just got to say, someone from the north, whenever
- 7:17Speaker 3: everyone freaks out here about just a few inches of snow,
- 7:21Speaker 3: it makes me.
- 7:22Speaker 4: It makes me laugh.
- 7:22Speaker 7: Okay, then I want you to get out and try
- 7:24Speaker 7: and drive on these roads this weekend.
- 7:26Speaker 4: I think it'll be fine by Saturday night Sunday morning.
- 7:29Speaker 6: Okay, go for it. I will not be there.
- 7:34Speaker 3: Go to three grocery stores to buy enough food for
- 7:38Speaker 3: an arm.
- 7:39Speaker 1: Do you think you're are you hoarding? No, you're not hoarding.
- 7:42Speaker 4: No, you're hoarding, though I feel like they are I'm not.
- 7:44Speaker 7: I literally made a grocery list for things for chili
- 7:47Speaker 7: and beef strogan.
- 7:48Speaker 2: So you didn't go to the first door clean out
- 7:50Speaker 2: all their toilet paper, go to the next door and
- 7:52Speaker 2: get all their toilet get all their.
- 7:54Speaker 6: To No, I didn't do that. Nor did I buy
- 7:56Speaker 6: any bread or milk.
- 7:58Speaker 4: Okay, that's what you don't eat, bread or drinking.
- 8:00Speaker 6: I'm just saying it wasn't me. If you go in
- 8:02Speaker 6: the shelves they're empty, it wasn't me.
- 8:04Speaker 4: There are so many stores.
- 8:05Speaker 3: All my friends keep posting pictures of just empty shows.
- 8:09Speaker 1: I know I went yesterday.
- 8:10Speaker 2: I went to Crobery yesterday and first of all, I
- 8:11Speaker 2: couldn't even park, and then ten minutes later I finally
- 8:14Speaker 2: did and it was empty.
- 8:15Speaker 3: Panic buying is so bad, guys, It's not going to
- 8:18Speaker 3: be that bad.
- 8:18Speaker 7: I didn't panic buy. I was meal prepping for the weekend. Ricky,
- 8:22Speaker 7: what's the verdict? Did he panic buy?
- 8:23Speaker 4: I didk he panic buy?
- 8:25Speaker 3: Three things?
- 8:26Speaker 9: You need to know?
- 8:27Speaker 2: Well, all right, just after seven o'clock on this Thursday morning, Hello,
- 8:30Speaker 2: good morning, thanks for being here.
- 8:32Speaker 1: Ricky's got those three things.
- 8:33Speaker 3: Taylor Swift has been named Billboard's Top Artist of the
- 8:36Speaker 3: twenty first Century Chart, So this is based on performances
- 8:39Speaker 3: on the Billboard two hundred Albums chart and the Billboard
- 8:42Speaker 3: Hot one hundred Songs chart. From the start of two
- 8:45Speaker 3: thousand through the end of twenty twenty four, Taylor Swift
- 8:48Speaker 3: has had fourteen number one albums on the Billboard two hundred,
- 8:52Speaker 3: which is the most among women of all time, and
- 8:55Speaker 3: twelve number one songs on the Hot one hundred. She
- 8:58Speaker 3: also became the first artist to claim each of the
- 9:00Speaker 3: chart's top ten positions thanks to songs from her album
- 9:03Speaker 3: Midnights back in twenty twenty two. So a lot of
- 9:06Speaker 3: really great feats by Taylor Swift, which obviously.
- 9:08Speaker 4: Is not all that surprising because she.
- 9:10Speaker 3: Just breaks records left You're Right all the time. Bona
- 9:14Speaker 3: Rue has announced their lineup for this year. Headliners include
- 9:18Speaker 3: Olivia Rodrigo, Tyler, the Creator, Glass Animals, Hosier lukeclmb's more
- 9:24Speaker 3: performances include people like Jesse Murph Bba, Doobie, Remy Wolf,
- 9:28Speaker 3: Lorilla and Singing clown Poles.
- 9:31Speaker 1: Yes Your First Time.
- 9:32Speaker 3: Tyler, Gigi Perez, Alex Warren who played Our River on
- 9:35Speaker 3: The Rooftop Wallows, who played Our River on the rooftop,
- 9:39Speaker 3: a lot of really great acts and a very interesting group,
- 9:43Speaker 3: like a lot of different sounds on this lineup.
- 9:46Speaker 4: It looks really cool.
- 9:47Speaker 3: Tickets are on sale today at ten am for the
- 9:50Speaker 3: Early Birds Special.
- 9:51Speaker 4: If you want to grab yourself a bear.
- 9:54Speaker 3: You may soon be able to smell sense while gaming.
- 9:58Speaker 4: Sony unveiled the ability to games.
- 10:00Speaker 3: Like The Last of Us at CS.
- 10:02Speaker 4: Twenty twenty five. Oh so, CS twenty.
- 10:05Speaker 3: Twenty five is like a huge group of people that
- 10:07Speaker 3: come together and they show the biggest advances in technology
- 10:10Speaker 3: and the things that all of these like crazy companies
- 10:12Speaker 3: are working on right, things that we just don't even understand.
- 10:16Speaker 3: The technology for this they're calling it's a future immersive
- 10:20Speaker 3: entertainment concept. It's essentially a massive box screens on every wall,
- 10:26Speaker 3: and it's supposed to dish out smells when necessary so
- 10:29Speaker 3: that you have a fully new gaming experience.
- 10:31Speaker 2: Smellovision. I don't like it, you said, the Last of Us.
- 10:33Speaker 2: That's the zombie game, right, nobody's showering in the Last
- 10:36Speaker 2: of Us.
- 10:36Speaker 4: Yes, that's gonna stink really bad.
- 10:38Speaker 3: And speaking of smellovision, Sony actually filed a patent for
- 10:41Speaker 3: smellovision back in twenty twenty three. So this is a
- 10:44Speaker 3: proof of concept right now that may be a reality
- 10:48Speaker 3: very very soon.
- 10:49Speaker 2: We need to get smellyoh of smell radio, because we
- 10:52Speaker 2: smell good.
- 10:52Speaker 1: We have a camera burning in here.
- 10:54Speaker 2: People would be it'd be very lighted, delighted with our sense.
- 10:57Speaker 4: They really feel like they're here with us. I like
- 11:00Speaker 4: that idea.
- 11:00Speaker 3: Let's patt in it. I'm Ricky Sanchez And those are
- 11:03Speaker 3: the three things you need.
- 11:04Speaker 1: To know more of an idea, Man, I don't know
- 11:05Speaker 1: how to get.
- 11:08Speaker 2: Right after Hozier Zach's facts. We're gonna learn something together.
- 11:12Speaker 4: Next Ricky, Zach and Mano in the morning.
- 11:14Speaker 3: On one O seven five the River, It's time for
- 11:17Speaker 3: Zack's fax on one O seven five the River.
- 11:19Speaker 6: This one is kind of crazy.
- 11:20Speaker 7: So the average person spends five and a half months
- 11:23Speaker 7: of their life waiting.
- 11:24Speaker 6: On a web page to load. Five and a half
- 11:27Speaker 6: months of your life.
- 11:29Speaker 2: I feel like my internet's pretty fast these days. I
- 11:31Speaker 2: don't really wait too long.
- 11:33Speaker 4: Is that in a year?
- 11:34Speaker 6: No, of your entire life?
- 11:36Speaker 1: He said it twice.
- 11:40Speaker 3: I was focused on five and a half months of
- 11:42Speaker 3: just waiting for something.
- 11:44Speaker 6: Yeah, that's crazy, not.
- 11:45Speaker 4: Okay for me?
- 11:46Speaker 6: Well that's your fact of the day.
- 11:47Speaker 1: You know what else is not okay? I am not okay?
- 11:50Speaker 2: And this might be your song in the day for
- 11:52Speaker 2: twenty five and twenty five. Keep listening to get that keyword,
- 11:54Speaker 2: I am not okay.
- 11:56Speaker 9: Ricky, Zach and Meno in the morning on one oh
- 11:59Speaker 9: seven five.
- 12:00Speaker 3: What are you planning to do or looking forward to
- 12:03Speaker 3: doing tomorrow during your snow day? It's one of seven
- 12:06Speaker 3: five of the river. We know we're getting a few
- 12:07Speaker 3: inches of snow tomorrow.
- 12:09Speaker 2: Everyone's preparing gotta make the most of it. Like they
- 12:12Speaker 2: have an officially canceled school for my kids tomorrow, but
- 12:15Speaker 2: I believe it's coming.
- 12:17Speaker 3: Yeah, it's for sure gonna come tonight or early tomorrow morning.
- 12:20Speaker 4: So do you have any plans?
- 12:21Speaker 1: We're gonna go sledding. We know for sure.
- 12:23Speaker 2: We already have a family of wet When I was yeah,
- 12:26Speaker 2: we went to the stairs over oh, you know, the
- 12:28Speaker 2: big stairs. I can't think of the I shouldn't have
- 12:30Speaker 2: even brought the stairs up because I can't remember.
- 12:32Speaker 1: The name of the stairs. But we sled down the
- 12:34Speaker 1: stairs and it was awesome. It was so fun.
- 12:36Speaker 2: So we're gonna go back to the stairs. Give me
- 12:38Speaker 2: a second I'll come up with the name of the stairs.
- 12:40Speaker 9: Great.
- 12:40Speaker 3: What are you looking forward to doing tomorrow during your
- 12:43Speaker 3: snow day? Call us right now six one five, seven,
- 12:46Speaker 3: three seven, nine, one oh seven. Whether you're a kid
- 12:48Speaker 3: who's looking forward to sledding and not having school, or
- 12:50Speaker 3: you're an adult and you're just hyped to be home all.
- 12:53Speaker 5: Day Ricky, Zach and Menno in the morning, Chrissie Warner Park,
- 12:59Speaker 5: that's what I was thinking of hersy one of the
- 13:00Speaker 5: big staircase over there.
- 13:02Speaker 2: Yeah, escaped my mind for a second, but that's where
- 13:05Speaker 2: we went sledding last year and it was so fun
- 13:07Speaker 2: sledding down there.
- 13:08Speaker 4: You're going back again.
- 13:09Speaker 1: That's exactly right. One o seven five the river.
- 13:11Speaker 2: Good morning. We're talking about your your snow day. Plants
- 13:14Speaker 2: are about to get a bunch of it.
- 13:15Speaker 4: Julys said a mount Juliet.
- 13:16Speaker 3: What are you looking forward to doing tomorrow for your
- 13:19Speaker 3: snow day?
- 13:20Speaker 8: Every year I go out here rides to healthcare professions
- 13:24Speaker 8: as well as you.
- 13:25Speaker 10: Go on sore runs or emergency.
- 13:29Speaker 8: Nature what I always be really excited about helping people.
- 13:32Speaker 1: Are you an actual angel? That's incredible?
- 13:36Speaker 11: No, not an angel, just a regular mom who likes
- 13:40Speaker 11: to help out other people.
- 13:41Speaker 3: Kevin and I like both of our jaws just drops
- 13:44Speaker 3: listening to that because that is not what we were expecting.
- 13:46Speaker 4: You are amazing. Thank you for doing that. That's so important.
- 13:50Speaker 10: Yes, ma'am, thank you, Ron, Yes, in.
- 13:54Speaker 3: The studio right now, we're sending you a lot of love.
- 13:56Speaker 3: And please stay safe tomorrow while you're doing that.
- 13:58Speaker 4: It's so important. But please please like, stay.
- 14:01Speaker 10: Safe, yes, ma'am, thank you.
- 14:02Speaker 3: You'll have a good day you too.
- 14:05Speaker 1: Thank you, thank you so much. Thank you for listening
- 14:07Speaker 1: and calling man. That was special.
- 14:10Speaker 9: Uh.
- 14:10Speaker 1: Nolan in Hendersonville, what's that buddy?
- 14:13Speaker 5: Hi?
- 14:13Speaker 1: How are you good?
- 14:15Speaker 3: What are you looking forward to doing tomorrow for your
- 14:17Speaker 3: snow day?
- 14:19Speaker 10: Making snow cream?
- 14:20Speaker 3: All day?
- 14:21Speaker 4: Snow cream? Is that like ice cream?
- 14:24Speaker 8: Yes?
- 14:25Speaker 1: What do you do? How do you do it? And snow?
- 14:31Speaker 4: That sounds really good.
- 14:33Speaker 3: I would be afraid to try because I don't think
- 14:35Speaker 3: I do it just right. But I have a feeling
- 14:37Speaker 3: Nolan that your parents are perfect at making it.
- 14:41Speaker 1: And Nolan goes without saying, you know which snow to avoid?
- 14:44Speaker 9: Right?
- 14:46Speaker 1: Yes? What snow is that?
- 14:48Speaker 8: There? You go?
- 14:49Speaker 4: Yes, good job Nolan.
- 14:50Speaker 2: We love that, Thank you, buddy. Thanks for listening. Have
- 14:53Speaker 2: a great day tomorrow. Bye, I'll do one more right now.
- 14:57Speaker 2: The phones are going going crazy. But Mackenzie and Clark's bill,
- 15:00Speaker 2: Good morning, welcome to the river.
- 15:02Speaker 8: Good morning.
- 15:03Speaker 1: What do you plan on doing with your snow day?
- 15:06Speaker 8: Oh my goodness. We've got a large, blended family with
- 15:09Speaker 8: seven kids, so we're all looking forward to going flooding
- 15:14Speaker 8: and building snowman and just hanging out outside.
- 15:17Speaker 3: Seven kids, that's gotta be a lot and very hectic
- 15:21Speaker 3: in the snow.
- 15:23Speaker 8: Oh yeah, yeah, all the way from sixteen to two
- 15:27Speaker 8: years old.
- 15:28Speaker 1: Oh I love you. Guys. Are gonna make so many
- 15:29Speaker 1: memories tomorrow. That's so cool. I'm so excited snow excited.
- 15:33Speaker 4: Oh my god, Kevin, we're so excited for you. Mackenzie.
- 15:36Speaker 3: We hope you have the best snow day ever tomorrow.
- 15:39Speaker 5: Thank you guys too, Nicky, Zach And in the morning,
- 15:44Speaker 5: seven five the River.
- 15:45Speaker 3: Tomorrow, we are getting a bunch of snow here in
- 15:48Speaker 3: Middle Tennessee. Everyone's preparing for it, you know, getting the
- 15:51Speaker 3: proper essentials.
- 15:52Speaker 4: That they need.
- 15:53Speaker 3: But I know everyone's got something that they're looking forward
- 15:56Speaker 3: to doing tomorrow during their snow day.
- 15:58Speaker 2: Hello, Jackson and Aiden calling in Greenbrier. How are you
- 16:02Speaker 2: guys really good?
- 16:04Speaker 4: What are you guys planning to do tomorrow for your
- 16:06Speaker 4: snow day?
- 16:07Speaker 8: We're planning to go swooding down hillside.
- 16:10Speaker 1: Down the hillside.
- 16:11Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 16:12Speaker 3: I just want to say, please be careful while you're sledding.
- 16:16Speaker 3: I know that I probably sound like an old lady
- 16:18Speaker 3: right now, but you end up going really fast.
- 16:21Speaker 4: Down those hills, so just make sure you're being safe. Okay.
- 16:24Speaker 2: Yes, have your parents put some like grease on the
- 16:27Speaker 2: bottom of your sleds you go even faster?
- 16:28Speaker 4: Kevin, that is the opposite of what I just said.
- 16:32Speaker 1: You're gonna do it? Yes, okay, Oh.
- 16:34Speaker 3: My goodness, have so much fun tomorrow with your snow day.
- 16:37Speaker 4: Okay, guys, yes, yes, meam so polite. I know.
- 16:43Speaker 1: Selena, good morning, welcome to the river.
- 16:45Speaker 4: Hi.
- 16:45Speaker 1: Hi, where are you calling from.
- 16:47Speaker 3: I'm from Tennessee.
- 16:50Speaker 4: Okay, that is that makes sense. That is good, Selena.
- 16:53Speaker 3: What are you looking forward to doing tomorrow for your
- 16:55Speaker 3: snow day?
- 16:59Speaker 6: Man?
- 17:00Speaker 8: An no angel?
- 17:02Speaker 3: Can you make a really big snowman? I always struggled
- 17:05Speaker 3: making them.
- 17:06Speaker 1: Did you because you're shorter?
- 17:07Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 17:07Speaker 3: Because I'm so short, it's hard for me to make
- 17:09Speaker 3: a big snowman.
- 17:10Speaker 4: But you can make a big one, Selena.
- 17:12Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 17:12Speaker 1: Do you ever name your snowman?
- 17:14Speaker 4: I usually name it Bob, Bob the Snowman.
- 17:21Speaker 3: Well, you have so much fun making Bob the snowman tomorrow, Okay.
- 17:26Speaker 1: Thanks for calling.
- 17:27Speaker 4: Bye.
- 17:28Speaker 2: When my brother and I were young, we grew up
- 17:30Speaker 2: in Indiana, so we'd get a lot of snow. There
- 17:32Speaker 2: was a parking lot near our house, and the snowplow
- 17:34Speaker 2: would come by and we'd have these.
- 17:35Speaker 1: Huge piles of snow downs.
- 17:37Speaker 2: We would create all of this like tunnel system in
- 17:40Speaker 2: the giant piles of snow, like you know, just real
- 17:42Speaker 2: tunnels that we could tunnel in and lay down.
- 17:44Speaker 3: And there's an idea for some people to try tomorrow
- 17:47Speaker 3: if they've never done it before. If you got some
- 17:48Speaker 3: big mounds of snow nearby, make a little toll system.
- 17:52Speaker 1: Cane Brown tickets. You can win them at seven.
- 17:54Speaker 5: Forty five at the Game of the Day one seven
- 17:56Speaker 5: five Ricky, Zach and Menno in the Morning Round tickets
- 18:00Speaker 5: at bridge Stone Arena in April for Kevin Mano's Game
- 18:03Speaker 5: of the Day presented by Genesis Diamonds.
- 18:05Speaker 3: You got to call us now to play What's it
- 18:08Speaker 3: from New Year's Edition.
- 18:09Speaker 2: You want to hear the audio clue before you start dialing,
- 18:11Speaker 2: because if you don't know what this is from, you
- 18:13Speaker 2: don't really stand much of a chance.
- 18:15Speaker 1: I think it's a.
- 18:16Speaker 4: Little easier today than the last two, much easier.
- 18:19Speaker 2: I kind of feel like this little clip, this little
- 18:21Speaker 2: audio has been going around, like circulating on social media.
- 18:23Speaker 1: So maybe you've seen it recently.
- 18:25Speaker 2: Yes, but if you know what this is from, we'll
- 18:27Speaker 2: play the clue. Six one, five, seven, three seven, nine
- 18:29Speaker 2: one oh seven. You call us, you tell us what
- 18:32Speaker 2: it's from, and if you're right, the tickets are yours.
- 18:34Speaker 1: Here we go.
- 18:34Speaker 11: You can't say Happy New Year after January seventh. You
- 18:38Speaker 11: can't say Happy New Year after January seventh.
- 18:42Speaker 2: I have no idea why it played twice, but if
- 18:43Speaker 2: you know what that's from. Six one, five, seven.
- 18:45Speaker 1: Three, seven, nine, one oh seven.
- 18:47Speaker 9: Here the boys gives it away, Kida, Yeah, a little
- 18:50Speaker 9: bit one O seven five the River, Ricky, Zach and
- 18:54Speaker 9: Manow in the morning.
- 18:55Speaker 3: Playing Kevin Mano's Game of the Day for Caine Brown tickets.
- 18:58Speaker 3: He's playing Bridge Stone Arena in eight.
- 19:00Speaker 4: But you gotta guess what's it? From New Year's Edition.
- 19:03Speaker 2: First that's the name of the game. We'll say good
- 19:05Speaker 2: morning to Alyssa in Mount Juliet.
- 19:07Speaker 1: How you doing doing good?
- 19:08Speaker 8: How are you?
- 19:09Speaker 1: We're good? Do you think you know what this audience
- 19:11Speaker 1: or I can play it for you one more time.
- 19:13Speaker 1: But do you do you feel confident?
- 19:15Speaker 9: Oh?
- 19:16Speaker 1: God, that does not ring of confidence to me. One
- 19:20Speaker 1: more time. Here we go, one more time, one more time.
- 19:22Speaker 11: You can't say Happy New Year after January seventh.
- 19:26Speaker 1: All right, Melyssa and Mount Juliet.
- 19:28Speaker 10: What's that from Curb your Enthusiasm?
- 19:33Speaker 9: Job?
- 19:34Speaker 1: You should have been confidence the whole time.
- 19:37Speaker 8: I was nervous because I almost said funny in Philadelphia,
- 19:39Speaker 8: and I was like, that's not right.
- 19:41Speaker 4: Okay, but I get the same vibes.
- 19:43Speaker 1: You're pivoted at the congratulations.
- 19:45Speaker 2: You're going to see Kane Brown when he's here in
- 19:47Speaker 2: April of Bridgestone.
- 19:48Speaker 8: Awesome, thank you.
- 19:50Speaker 2: You are so very welcome. For anybody that missed that,
- 19:52Speaker 2: Curb your Enthusiasm was the answer Larry David.
- 19:54Speaker 3: That's the voice that I was like, Oh, you can
- 19:56Speaker 3: tell from the voice iconic.
- 19:58Speaker 2: Sorry.
- 19:59Speaker 8: I was ordering a coffee, so I was trying to
- 20:00Speaker 8: guess and then not be rude to her At the
- 20:02Speaker 8: same time.
- 20:03Speaker 1: You're multitasking and you did it flawlessly. Nice job.
- 20:07Speaker 2: Thank you for listening. Enjoy that coffee and have a
- 20:09Speaker 2: great day, all right, Thank.
- 20:10Speaker 8: You, guys.
- 20:11Speaker 2: Three things you need to know Just a scooch past
- 20:15Speaker 2: eight o'clock on this Thursday morning.
- 20:17Speaker 1: A scoot in like a scooch?
- 20:19Speaker 4: What is a scooch?
- 20:20Speaker 1: Just a unit of measurement.
- 20:22Speaker 4: I don't know about it is.
- 20:23Speaker 1: I'm gonna look it up. I'll show you. Ricky's got
- 20:25Speaker 1: three things you need to know.
- 20:26Speaker 4: I'm really excited about this.
- 20:28Speaker 3: Bad Bunny is co hosting and performing on Monday's The
- 20:31Speaker 3: Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon, so mark your calendars for
- 20:35Speaker 3: January thirteenth. He's not only co hosting, he'll also be
- 20:38Speaker 3: singing a live song from his DeBie to Dramas Photos
- 20:41Speaker 3: album that just dropped on Sunday. You can catch it
- 20:45Speaker 3: live on Monday or watch it on Peacock Tuesday, just
- 20:48Speaker 3: in case you know. It's a little too late for
- 20:49Speaker 3: you and you might miss it. For me, it's pretty late,
- 20:52Speaker 3: so I might have to wait till.
- 20:53Speaker 4: Tuesday to watch it. I sound like an old lady,
- 20:55Speaker 4: but I'm not. At four point thirty in the morning.
- 20:57Speaker 6: Okay.
- 20:58Speaker 3: British Airways is adding a second daily NonStop flight between
- 21:02Speaker 3: Nashville and London on select days this summer.
- 21:06Speaker 4: Really good stuff.
- 21:07Speaker 3: So from August sixth to September tenth, the airline's going
- 21:09Speaker 3: to operate additional service on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. The
- 21:13Speaker 3: airport keeps growing its flights and it's great for all
- 21:16Speaker 3: of us here in Nashville. I love to see the
- 21:18Speaker 3: fact that we are getting more options, and obviously, with
- 21:21Speaker 3: the amount of people that live here now, more options.
- 21:23Speaker 4: Are better for all of us.
- 21:25Speaker 3: And if you're planning to get married this year, this
- 21:28Speaker 3: will be good to know. These are the dates to
- 21:30Speaker 3: avoid saying I do. Friday the thirteenth is one, due
- 21:34Speaker 3: to the supposed bad luck that comes with that number.
- 21:37Speaker 3: October thirty first is another one. You know, the Halloween
- 21:40Speaker 3: spooky aesthetic unless that's your thing. But when it comes
- 21:43Speaker 3: to astrology, though, they're saying not to get married between
- 21:46Speaker 3: March fifteenth and April seventh, July eighteenth and August eleventh,
- 21:51Speaker 3: or November ninth through the twenty ninth, because mercury is
- 21:55Speaker 3: indeed in rech grade.
- 21:57Speaker 2: Okay, what if that means nothing to you like that
- 21:59Speaker 2: means nothing.
- 22:01Speaker 3: End You're right. But if you are like me and
- 22:02Speaker 3: believe in mercury retrograde and know that that means that
- 22:05Speaker 3: everything that can go wrong will go wrong, then you
- 22:07Speaker 3: might want to try to avoid those dates.
- 22:08Speaker 4: It's all I'm saying.
- 22:09Speaker 1: Good, thank you.
- 22:11Speaker 4: I'm Ricky Sanchez, and those are the three things you
- 22:12Speaker 4: need to know.
- 22:13Speaker 2: The whole time you're talking about was looking up Scooch,
- 22:15Speaker 2: and I think I made that up.
- 22:16Speaker 1: It doesn't mean right, dott.
- 22:17Speaker 4: I'm very well aware that you made it up.
- 22:20Speaker 1: What it means like to slide over on a couch
- 22:22Speaker 1: like this? Scooch? Yeah, yeah, y, not a measurement of
- 22:25Speaker 1: time like I thought. Yeah, Okay, here's a Brina Carpenter's
- 22:28Speaker 1: taste getting back into music the River. Thanks for being
- 22:32Speaker 1: a part of our morning.
- 22:33Speaker 9: Ricky, Zach and Menno. In the morning, it's.
- 22:36Speaker 2: Getting cold here in Middle Tennessee. It's one of seven
- 22:38Speaker 2: five the River. We do have a lot of snow coming.
- 22:40Speaker 2: We're going to be kind of stuck indoors, maybe possibly
- 22:43Speaker 2: for a day or so. We'll see how bad it gets,
- 22:46Speaker 2: but we're asking for ways to sort of weather proof.
- 22:50Speaker 2: You're home the things we should be doing, or even
- 22:52Speaker 2: your vehicle, your car before the temperatures get too cold.
- 22:55Speaker 3: Yeah, so I have a few things here that you
- 22:57Speaker 3: should definitely keep in mind, especially because some places in
- 23:00Speaker 3: Middle Tennessee are supposed to get six inches of snow,
- 23:03Speaker 3: which is crazy for us here. So here are some
- 23:06Speaker 3: things that you should keep in mind. Mark your garden beds, pats,
- 23:10Speaker 3: and driveways. It could be tough to see where these
- 23:13Speaker 3: paths and the driveway starts an end, so if you
- 23:16Speaker 3: mark it, you'll know exactly where it is and where
- 23:18Speaker 3: you need to make sure that you're shoveling very smart.
- 23:20Speaker 6: I was thinking about like sidewalks.
- 23:21Speaker 7: If we have a sidewalk in front of our house
- 23:23Speaker 7: where we walk our dogs, so if you mark it
- 23:25Speaker 7: makes way more sense and safer.
- 23:27Speaker 3: Speaking of dogs, if you have pets who are typically outdoors,
- 23:30Speaker 3: make sure that they are indoor before the temperatures get
- 23:33Speaker 3: really cold, because obviously you don't want your pets outside.
- 23:37Speaker 3: They can't handle the cold just like you can't, so
- 23:39Speaker 3: make sure they're inside, warm and safe. The outdoor water
- 23:44Speaker 3: sources that you have, you know speak of, Yeah, you
- 23:46Speaker 3: want to make sure that those are secure and ready
- 23:48Speaker 3: either shut off all of the water supply that you
- 23:51Speaker 3: can have to the outside, or I think if you
- 23:55Speaker 3: let it.
- 23:56Speaker 4: Maybe not drip.
- 23:57Speaker 3: But like if you undo everything, because all of your
- 24:01Speaker 3: which McCall it's hoses get they get clogged up with water.
- 24:06Speaker 3: Empty out the hoses because they will get clogged with
- 24:08Speaker 3: water and they will freeze, and then you don't want
- 24:10Speaker 3: the frozen part to go.
- 24:12Speaker 4: Into your pipes.
- 24:13Speaker 3: So undo all of those things, shut off your water,
- 24:15Speaker 3: make sure that you do not lead anything inside.
- 24:18Speaker 1: You can cover those as well, like with insulation.
- 24:23Speaker 3: Exactly, you got to make sure.
- 24:25Speaker 4: That all the hoses are undone.
- 24:27Speaker 3: Make sure that you're checking for anything tree limbs or
- 24:29Speaker 3: anything that look like they may be very loose, because
- 24:33Speaker 3: you want to make sure that you are aware of
- 24:35Speaker 3: the area around you. Obviously if it gets windy, you
- 24:37Speaker 3: don't want anything to fall in your house or on
- 24:39Speaker 3: your car. And then Zach has some ideas for your
- 24:42Speaker 3: car of what you can do to make sure that
- 24:43Speaker 3: it can withstand as cold weather.
- 24:45Speaker 1: Well.
- 24:45Speaker 7: First of all, make sure that you have enough gas
- 24:48Speaker 7: wells full tank of gas. And then also I thought
- 24:51Speaker 7: this was interesting, is check your tire pressures because I
- 24:54Speaker 7: do fluctuate with the different temperatures, So check your tires
- 24:57Speaker 7: and check all of your fluids, so your engine oil,
- 25:00Speaker 7: you're cooling your break let's check all of those. Make
- 25:02Speaker 7: sure that everything is good and ready to go, because
- 25:04Speaker 7: the last thing you want to do is be working
- 25:05Speaker 7: on your car when it's four degrees outside.
- 25:07Speaker 1: Just take the day off today and you have a
- 25:09Speaker 1: lot to do.
- 25:10Speaker 2: You make sure you have blankets in your car as well,
- 25:13Speaker 2: and some jumper cables, get an ice scraper.
- 25:16Speaker 1: You ought to be prepared for all snacks.
- 25:18Speaker 2: And of course if Zach didn't clean out snack the
- 25:22Speaker 2: greater natural area, he was panic buying yesterday.
- 25:25Speaker 3: So those are a few things that you can do
- 25:26Speaker 3: to prepare yourself for the weather today and tomorrow. If
- 25:30Speaker 3: there's anything we've forgotten, please let us know. Six one, five, seven, three,
- 25:33Speaker 3: seven nine.
- 25:35Speaker 9: Ricky is Zach and manno in the morning on the right.
- 25:40Speaker 4: Him in fair View.
- 25:41Speaker 3: Do you have a tipper trick of what we need
- 25:43Speaker 3: to do to make sure we're prepared for the weather tomorrow.
- 25:46Speaker 1: I do so.
- 25:47Speaker 10: In the back of some stores you'll have pull salt
- 25:52Speaker 10: and so they come in thirty and forty pound bag
- 25:55Speaker 10: which normally run anywhere from three to five dollars.
- 25:58Speaker 1: What kind of soal did you say?
- 26:00Speaker 10: It's pool salt swimming. Yes, because you have you know,
- 26:04Speaker 10: chlorinated pools and then you have saltwater pools. Yeah, bang
- 26:07Speaker 10: for your buck, so you're saving money. But also it
- 26:10Speaker 10: lasts longer down on the ground.
- 26:12Speaker 1: It's so rit What kind of like are we talking
- 26:13Speaker 1: about pool stores here? That's where you find this?
- 26:16Speaker 10: Yes, either that any local hardware store or I looked
- 26:21Speaker 10: it up.
- 26:21Speaker 6: They sell it at Walmart.
- 26:22Speaker 4: Adam, this is a really good tip. Thank you so
- 26:25Speaker 4: much for calling in.
- 26:26Speaker 10: And also on the garden host thicket. Yes, the little covers.
- 26:31Speaker 10: Before you put the cover on, wrap it with an
- 26:33Speaker 10: old towel and duct tape it and then put that on.
- 26:36Speaker 4: Adam, you are a fall of tips and tricks. Love this.
- 26:39Speaker 3: The apocalypse comes, I'm coming for you.
- 26:42Speaker 1: You're gonna be with me a threat.
- 26:47Speaker 10: Let's take a bag, let's make it happen.
- 26:49Speaker 4: He's gonna stay with me and protect me. I feel
- 26:51Speaker 4: like he knows everything you need to do in any situation.
- 26:54Speaker 1: Helpful stuff, Adam. Thank you buddy.
- 26:56Speaker 10: That's your local firefighter for you.
- 26:58Speaker 2: Oh, thank you so much being a firefighter and hey man,
- 27:01Speaker 2: especially with in California right now and it gives us
- 27:03Speaker 2: all a much higher appreciation for you guys.
- 27:05Speaker 1: So yeah, thank you, Hey.
- 27:07Speaker 10: Bigger prayers to those guys out there, and if you
- 27:09Speaker 10: have any way to support any local or the big
- 27:13Speaker 10: city fires, please do.
- 27:15Speaker 4: Thank you so much, Adam, We appreciate you.
- 27:16Speaker 2: You guys have a Blithday too to buddy and remember
- 27:20Speaker 2: in case of apocalypse, watch your back.
- 27:23Speaker 6: Ricky's coming for yeah.
- 27:24Speaker 3: Men like I'm finding him so that you can protect
- 27:26Speaker 3: me Ricky, Zach and Mannow in the morning. On one,
- 27:31Speaker 3: I'm really excited about this daily double tap on one
- 27:33Speaker 3: O seven five of the River because Kevin found it
- 27:36Speaker 3: and he said that it's about dry January, maybe like
- 27:39Speaker 3: a hack for.
- 27:40Speaker 2: Me to do.
- 27:41Speaker 1: Let's call it a loophole.
- 27:42Speaker 3: A loophole, okay, So the daily double tap is something
- 27:45Speaker 3: that either we found interesting or something that's gone viral.
- 27:48Speaker 3: We play it for you.
- 27:49Speaker 4: This one's just interesting.
- 27:50Speaker 3: If you're also doing dry January like i am, maybe
- 27:53Speaker 3: you'll want to use this loophole.
- 27:54Speaker 2: There we go, Today's Daily double time doing dry January
- 27:57Speaker 2: with an asterisk, Dry January with acause basically the same
- 28:01Speaker 2: as Dry January. The only difference is if there's an
- 28:03Speaker 2: event I really want to have a drink, cat, I
- 28:05Speaker 2: mentally borrow a day from a later month. For example,
- 28:09Speaker 2: I'm doing dry January, but I was invited to a
- 28:11Speaker 2: party this Saturday. Now I see this random Tuesday in February,
- 28:15Speaker 2: and I'm not going to drink on that day.
- 28:17Speaker 6: So I'll consider that my new January thirteenth.
- 28:19Speaker 2: And this Saturday is now February twentieth, so my January
- 28:23Speaker 2: is still dry. World adults here, things come up, birthdays,
- 28:27Speaker 2: sporting events, Thursdays, Mondays.
- 28:30Speaker 6: Do you really want to let all those events get
- 28:31Speaker 6: ruined by dry January?
- 28:33Speaker 1: You might be thinking it sounds to me like you
- 28:35Speaker 1: failed dry January.
- 28:36Speaker 3: No I didn't.
- 28:37Speaker 6: I just borrow days. See, I think it's Brilliana.
- 28:40Speaker 1: So you do have an event coming up, A bunch
- 28:42Speaker 1: of people going to that thing. You guys invited me too,
- 28:44Speaker 1: but I'm not going to go to. I kind of
- 28:46Speaker 1: like that's what it is.
- 28:49Speaker 2: And so this happens in January and all your friends
- 28:51Speaker 2: are gonna be having a good time having a cocktail.
- 28:53Speaker 3: I love this idea, and I really do think it's
- 28:55Speaker 3: a genius, But I do think it's cheating.
- 28:57Speaker 4: It's definitely cheating, And I don't know if I want
- 28:59Speaker 4: to cheat.
- 29:00Speaker 6: I don't think it's cheating. I think it's working smarter,
- 29:02Speaker 6: not harder.
- 29:03Speaker 2: So you just you have a drink that day, but
- 29:04Speaker 2: you say like, okay, February fourth, I won't drink, So
- 29:07Speaker 2: it's all.
- 29:08Speaker 1: It all evens out in the Yeah.
- 29:10Speaker 4: It's cheating. I'm not gonna do it. I'm gonna try
- 29:12Speaker 4: not to do it. Talk to me again when we go.
- 29:16Speaker 2: We're going to put the video up on our Instagram
- 29:18Speaker 2: stories at one O seven five the River on Instagrams.
- 29:21Speaker 1: Put the daily double tap up there.
- 29:23Speaker 9: Ricky is Zach and Manno in the morning on
- 29:26Speaker 4: One seven the River
