- 0:10Hello and welcome to episode 25 of Brothers Grappas, the only
- 0:18show that will have someone dressed in a dragon onesie
- 0:22trying to sweat a wrestling hold out.
- 0:28This week we are looking at Future Shock Wrestling Lotto
- 0:34Thunder 2026. I am your host, Petter Brothers,
- 0:43our Petter, our brothers, whichever, I don't care.
- 0:46I don't feel well, but we're going to plough through this.
- 0:53So obviously last Sunday or a couple Sundays now.
- 1:00So at the Stockport Guildhall Future Shock Wrestling putting
- 1:06on Lotto Thunder 2026, where we saw the following participants,
- 1:14Pele, Danny Hope, HC Drake, Dynamite, Lee Dawson, Helen
- 1:23McCall, Josh Easy Morgan and Nay J So we will run through what
- 1:36happened in the qualifying matches because I'll be honest,
- 1:41I want to keep this slightly brief because I have a couple
- 1:45more podcasts I have to record this week.
- 1:49So the opening, well let's kind of the premise if you like of
- 2:01Lotto Fund is eight. I will even show you.
- 2:08So you will have 8 cards. It's like Blue Peter, here's who
- 2:19I have already. So you have 8 cards and 1 by 1.
- 2:29They will ask a child or a fan in the crowd and and select one
- 2:35of the cards at random between 1:00 and 8:00.
- 2:39So obviously for the purposes of this, because I have two cards,
- 2:45you'll need to imagine, use your imagination.
- 2:49So if, say, someone opted to go for #2 which my camera is
- 2:59flipped, so I'm going to say that's going to be #2 that would
- 3:04be Scott Olbermann. And then another person would be
- 3:11asked at random and they would go obviously #1 because it's all
- 3:17you have. And that would turn out to be
- 3:21facing Daddy proper. So that's kind of how things
- 3:26work. So I can't remember what kind of
- 3:31like numbers they were, mainly because I have a slut life and I
- 3:38say that while we're dressed as a dragon.
- 3:42So the first match was Pele taking on Danny Hope.
- 3:50All these matches seem to run pretty quickly, obviously just
- 3:57due to how many matches were on this show.
- 4:00So you have to kind of run through matches pretty quickly
- 4:05when it's a tournament. So Pele and Hope and Pele
- 4:12obviously the big fan favourite, favourite in this match, Danny
- 4:19Hope, who turned his back on his long time best friend in Joey
- 4:27Hayes that came back in December and also coincided with Declan
- 4:34McCarthy winning the men's future shock title.
- 4:40So going into this, obviously the entire room, barring one or
- 4:46two people were cheering for Deck.
- 4:50Sorry, we're cheering for Danny Hope.
- 4:51What am I talking about? It's the ill, it's the illness
- 4:54in me. Good opener.
- 5:00Nothing really kind of like flashing any of of the
- 5:07qualifying matches if truth be told, because you have to kind
- 5:11of rush through things. Hope having struggled to get
- 5:17into the contest early doors with a couple members of the
- 5:22crowd chanting Baldy and Daddy. Hope looking throughout the
- 5:28crowd over bald men and trying to gain the enthusiasm and
- 5:36strength from fellow bald people in the crowd.
- 5:43Technically I look like a monk with my hair at the moment, so I
- 5:47don't know which bracket I'd fall in.
- 5:51As it was, Danny Hope had control for a good portion of
- 5:56this contest, and just when it looked like Danny Hope was
- 6:02moments away from winning and advancing, we had the music of
- 6:09Joey Hayes starting up and that led to Danny Hope being slightly
- 6:18distracted. You could say Danny just saying
- 6:22he's not here, he wasn't, but we don't, but we don't say that.
- 6:29This then led to Hope going to hit a move.
- 6:33Pele would reverse this, picking up the victory and advancing.
- 6:40So we have one in the semi finals.
- 6:45Match two saw HT Drake making a return of sorts against Dynamite
- 6:53Lee Dawson. This is almost a kind of like a
- 6:59comeback for both. You could have said Drake, who
- 7:05will sporadically kind of like appear from time to time.
- 7:11Lee, who I've said numerous times and has almost felt like
- 7:16the forgotten man and will also sporadically appear on a card.
- 7:25This was a really good contest though Dynamite obviously using
- 7:30his speed and quickness, though technical that's the same
- 7:36showing some strength in this contest, while Drake is just a
- 7:45big man to say to say the least, Drake, who you could arguably
- 7:55make the case, had most of this contest.
- 7:59Lee kind of tried to mount a couple of comebacks but always
- 8:04seemed to be kind of like cut off and we had Drake who would
- 8:08bring his bottle of water down, spraying the crowd, giving them
- 8:12a shower. We would then have Drake go for
- 8:17his bottle, having Dawson in a almost a camel clutch position.
- 8:28Drake could take a swig, a large swig of water, let it drip from
- 8:34his mouth on the head of Dawson with a few people shouting
- 8:40scruff, which I did find quite funny, then just pouring more
- 8:45water on top of his head almost christening him.
- 8:51We then had Lee making a comeback because that seemed to
- 8:56kind of like ignite a fire which is dangerous around dynamite.
- 9:03Lee then went to hit the powder keg DDT, but when trying to lift
- 9:08his opponent onto the top rope to hit it, Drake used those long
- 9:14levers called legs to get on the other side of the ropes, causing
- 9:20Dynamite to kind of like just turn around, disorientate him
- 9:25and have Drake hitting a like a jumping code breaker, which was
- 9:32it was a it was a nice move. I don't think it got all of it
- 9:38because I think Dynamite might have been a bit further than it
- 9:42was, but it still did the job. Drake ends up taking the
- 9:47victory, sprays Dynamite a bit more, sprays the crowd a bit
- 9:52more and sees him advancing to the semi finals.
- 10:00Third match was Tom McCall and Josh Easy, technically a
- 10:06Liverpool Derby. This I would arguably say this
- 10:13was the the fun match of the free Tom I am a massive fan of
- 10:23have been for a long time now. So seeing him in a singles role,
- 10:31which is you don't see very often, especially Future Shock
- 10:36at least and going up against one of the rookies of Future
- 10:41Shock in Josh Easy, who for someone that has not been doing
- 10:49this for too long, it does not show all he is very.
- 11:00I don't think I have seen a rookie have so many good matches
- 11:07for such little time that he has been on a show.
- 11:13It has really been fun to watch. Kind of like Josh's progression
- 11:18and I feel I will continue to feel that way.
- 11:24The match itself, this kind of went back and forth quite a fair
- 11:31bit. Josh hitting some nice moves you
- 11:37could actually make the case of went to the well a few times too
- 11:43often. Tom who more experienced of the
- 11:48two kind of like knew when to capitalise.
- 11:54He's kind of like dropkick through the ropes to Josh's kind
- 12:00of one of my little guilty pleasure moves if truth be told.
- 12:08Hits, he hits. Also I will say this for Tom, he
- 12:12has one of the loveliest lariats that you will see and it is
- 12:17really an underrated lariat because he gets some in power in
- 12:24those lariats. But in the end, it saw Tom
- 12:30McCall getting the victory again, really good showing from
- 12:37Josh, Tom advancing to the semi finals, and it really was out of
- 12:46the three we'd seen up to that point.
- 12:48I would have put that as the top match of the qualifiers match #4
- 12:58if there are wrestling gods, then this one will have been put
- 13:03together by him because we had Gorgon taking on AJ.
- 13:11If I was writing like the show I would have probably had this as
- 13:15a like a semi final if I could have cheated the system because
- 13:21the lead up to this has been these two just butting heads
- 13:27effectively. So a few months ago we had a
- 13:32four way match I believe for the number one contendership for the
- 13:38adrenaline title. On that occasion, Golkin looked
- 13:43like he was going to win, Naje rolled him up for the pin, and
- 13:49the leader of the Horde in Gorgon has never let this down.
- 13:57Has effectively been trying to ruin Naje ever since.
- 14:03When it's on. Naje and Tony Wright originally
- 14:07are going to face off back in December, but Nay J was not
- 14:16really fit enough. Worse for wear is probably one
- 14:21term you could use. So we ended up with Gorgon and
- 14:24the Horde stopping that We had a six man tag instead and the
- 14:31conclusion of that contest? So Gorgon spraying missed in the
- 14:36eyes of Nay J and ever since then it is felt like these two
- 14:44are drawn together like magnets. So heading into this contest, I
- 14:56didn't know what we're going to get.
- 14:59And what we got were two men beating the crap out of each
- 15:03other is effectively what we got.
- 15:07And AJ made a running beeline, a Gorgon Golkan, having taken some
- 15:14early offence from AJ, hit some brutal chops to the chest of his
- 15:23opponent, NAJ, trying to give it equally as back.
- 15:31But these two just continued to kind of like beat the hell out
- 15:35of each other. It was a brutal qualifying
- 15:43match. I don't think I've seen a brutal
- 15:51or a match as brutal as this for some time because it almost felt
- 15:58like they both owed each of the money the way they were going at
- 16:02it. And as we were kind of like
- 16:06later find out to which we had Gorgon advancing to the semi
- 16:16finals. Due to this contest, Gorgon had
- 16:23to pull out through injury so it would see members of the Horde
- 16:30taking his place on. We then had as your first half
- 16:38main event for the Women's Championship or the Future Shock
- 16:45Women's Championship to give it its full title.
- 16:48Holly Barlow defending against a debutante to Future Shock in
- 16:55Saxor. I did say the other day when I
- 17:01had originally recorded this, technical issues did not allow
- 17:08for that to be recorded. Saxa I have not only seen a lot
- 17:15of I'd seen her previously at off the page in a rumble.
- 17:24The only other really kind of like thing I'd seen highlight of
- 17:28Saxa was being chopped by Big T. That's getting some recognition,
- 17:38to be fair, which went viral. But I have heard like the name
- 17:45Saxa and I know kind of like how good she is.
- 17:50Especially Louise, who I'm good friends with, is a kind of like
- 17:57an advocate of saying and watching wrestlers.
- 18:01I don't see too often Will give me a little kind of like tidbits
- 18:06and just highlight ones and say they're really good, not good.
- 18:14But Saxor is always mentioned as one of the top kind of like
- 18:20young talents Swallow. I have now seen her twice.
- 18:25So my opinion I had has changed in a good way.
- 18:32I'll stress that. So the start of this match felt
- 18:38a bit, it felt a bit off, but not in a bad way.
- 18:47I think this is how they were going.
- 18:51So Sasa, who was the heel? I don't really want to use the
- 18:56word heel rule breaker in this contest.
- 19:00Holly, who is the lovable bubbly character character.
- 19:07It's not really a character, it's her.
- 19:11She kind of like had the better of things early doors done her
- 19:17usual kind of like gets tricked but then does the whole pretty
- 19:25kind of thing. Tell Saxer to try harder.
- 19:31This then leads to the match really kind of like getting
- 19:34started. Saxa begins to get some offence
- 19:38in, Holly will equally get some offence and kind of like battle
- 19:44back. So Holly always felt like she
- 19:47was a step ahead of Saxa, but Saxa was very much impressive on
- 19:55this display. I wouldn't say fully back and
- 20:03forth. I'd say Holly had more of this
- 20:07match than than Saxa. That said, it was still a really
- 20:13good performance from the challenger.
- 20:19Ended up with Holly retaining the title would be Barlow
- 20:23Stunner. Holly retains after the match.
- 20:30Well, I will slightly rewind or do a Craig David and some of the
- 20:40kind of like character work from Saxa playing to the crowd and
- 20:47shouting, telling people to, I'm being distracted, shut up, I'm
- 20:54trying to work here. I thought she did a really good
- 20:58job because there have been times where you will have
- 21:05matches where the crowd will get into it because of whoever's in
- 21:11the match. But they can also lose a crowd
- 21:17very quickly if it feels a bit monotonous or it's not really
- 21:22kind of like Catching Fire. However, where it felt early on
- 21:30like the the crowd slightly were tuning out, I feel Saxa did a
- 21:39great job at bringing the crowd back into it.
- 21:45Equally so did Holly. But I think you do need the,
- 21:49I've nearly said the word again, the rule breaker to kind of get
- 21:56the crowd involved as much as the fun favourite.
- 22:02Both did a really good job at getting the crowd back in.
- 22:05I thought much. I really enjoyed it.
- 22:11Nothing bad I can say about it. I would definitely love to see
- 22:16this kind of like replay down the line because I think these
- 22:22two definitely put on well. It wasn't a bad match.
- 22:29I think these two could. I think they'd like to rerun it
- 22:34a bit, I feel. But yeah, I really enjoyed this.
- 22:41Everyone, I think did. By the time the match finished.
- 22:45After the contest, Holly offered Saxa a hand of friendship and
- 22:52sportsmanship. Saxa shook her hand.
- 22:57Which normally means when that happens that we may see on a
- 23:04return a kind of fan favourite change.
- 23:08But we we will see what we will see.
- 23:12Also, please bring Saxa back to future shock.
- 23:16Please. So we then came to the
- 23:21second-half of the show as Pele took on Tom Mccool in the first
- 23:31semi final. I have it in my notes as the
- 23:35first semi final. This was arguably my favourite
- 23:43match of the day. It was a it had a very chaotic
- 23:51ending. The main bulk of it was pretty
- 23:58much kind of Tom taking it to Pele, Pele really trying to kind
- 24:06of like force a way back. But I think what this did was
- 24:11it's shown that Tomo, Tomo Tom is such a good hand.
- 24:20He really, he really did impress me in this tournament because I
- 24:27always feel with certain people in like tag teams, they get kind
- 24:33of like underlooked or underrated as a singles
- 24:41wrestler. While Tom is 1/2 of the tag team
- 24:46champions in FTM, he's kind of just being a singles wrestler.
- 24:56I think he definitely has like a future, kind of like down the
- 25:01line. He has the charisma, he can
- 25:07talk, talking to the crowd, and some of the verbal jousting that
- 25:15McCall had had did honestly have me in stitches at times where he
- 25:23was told to to go home. And Tom's reply was, yeah, I
- 25:30will after I win this, which I thought was a great retort.
- 25:37There was a couple of kind of like chants that came at Tom and
- 25:42bless him, he had a reply for everything.
- 25:46But I guess you could say that's kind of like the Scouse wit as
- 25:50well. But yeah, fair play to Tom on
- 25:57kind of like engaging Pele, just kind of like the plucky babyface
- 26:05in in all these. A really good contest.
- 26:11Felt like it was a bit back and forth, which it was.
- 26:15Pele would have kind of like spells but Tom would always be
- 26:19there to kind of like stop him the back end I loved so much and
- 26:27a lot will probably have seen this online.
- 26:32So the match spilled to the outside while people kind of
- 26:40message me. Hello Mike, it's you that's
- 26:47making the phone, but I'm going off attention here anyway.
- 26:53They are fighting on the outside, heading through the
- 26:57crowd towards the now infamous Stockport Guildhall back door.
- 27:05That's probably not the right time of phrase, but I'm going to
- 27:08stay with that anyhow. So it looked for all the world
- 27:13that Tom was going to throw Prince Pele out and lock him out
- 27:19because we have seen this happen at Stockport in the past and
- 27:25even at the the MMU, which I think is where we actually saw
- 27:30it the last time going way back. So it ended with Tom going to
- 27:39throw Pele out. Pele would reverse it, throwing
- 27:44McCall through the back door, locking the fire exit, slowly
- 27:52making his way to ringside to what seemed like an anti
- 27:57climactic count out win. So we got to the countervate.
- 28:03Pele's on the on the ring apron does his kind of little spin
- 28:10back into the ring. However, Tom had managed to run
- 28:16round, come through the curtain, dash into the ring and the
- 28:21picture perfect way that Pele had kind of like done.
- 28:30His return to the entrance and Tom running at Pele at the same
- 28:35time made for a perfect kind of RKO or stunner, whichever you
- 28:41want to. I think it's smaller on RKO.
- 28:44It was so picture perfect I just can't explain.
- 28:53I think we then had Pele punch Tom with glitter.
- 29:00I can't fully remember this because I'm not quite sure how
- 29:04to help you with that and Alexa who can't help me either.
- 29:10So I ended up with Pele pinning Tom McCall.
- 29:17I remember how he pinned him though.
- 29:20The replay of the old video that I post will explain what
- 29:25happened. But Pele pins Tom McCall.
- 29:30Pele with a complete look of shock and amazement on his face
- 29:35because he's qualified. So we have one person in the
- 29:40final who would Pele meet at the final of Lotto Thunder.
- 29:48So the remaining semi was HT Drake originally going to take
- 29:55on Gorgon, but obviously Gorgon pulling out.
- 30:01We had Haley Cooling and Seraphin coming out.
- 30:07Both hit around the sides of the entrance that they come out of.
- 30:14And I had made the point that if I was Drake, I would probably
- 30:20come through the other way and come through the main entrance
- 30:24of the building and through the side entrance and run into the
- 30:28rink. And that's what happened.
- 30:33Drake dashes into the ring, looking around, does not seeing
- 30:38an opponent, looks outside the ring where both members of the
- 30:43horde are just in kind of Why haven't you come through this
- 30:48way? What are you doing?
- 30:52And then Drake grabs a microphone and says, Do you
- 30:56think I'm stupid? Why?
- 30:58Why have Why are you there when you should be in here?
- 31:02Were you trying to jump me? And then Drake, who felt more
- 31:07like a fan favourite in this contest or an inbetweener at
- 31:12least, decided to jump out the ring, go to attack both, but
- 31:20ended up being attacked himself, Bro Seraphin into the ring where
- 31:26referee Reese would stop him and says no no no no no he's not the
- 31:31legal man. And then Drake just went well
- 31:35who is then sees Hayley Cooling, jumps back out, beats him up a
- 31:41bit more, throws him in and this contest starts off.
- 31:48And in fairness this was, it wasn't really much of A contest
- 31:55to be fair, it felt not a squash, but it felt towards that
- 31:59way. Cooling did try to get some
- 32:05offence in, but it wasn't a whole lot if you'd be told had
- 32:11little flickers of offence. Drake was always kind of too
- 32:18powerful, Ended up doing again the water spot with taking a
- 32:25drink of water, drooling it onto Cooling's head, pouring water on
- 32:33him and would go on to hit that kind of flying code breaker for
- 32:41the 123, setting up a Pele versus Drake final.
- 32:48So that was one match step. I think as this tournament kind
- 32:54of went on, you you felt that's where we were going to go.
- 32:59But again, no one was was disappointed.
- 33:04That was a solid match. It did it.
- 33:08It did what it needed to do is a term that I've heard somewhere
- 33:12and that's pretty much sums up our pre.
- 33:21Well, not pre, what's the word? Penultimate match of the show
- 33:27was a six man contest with Troy Ryan teaming up with Slamulans,
- 33:34that being Slam Johnson and Doctor Proctor as they took on
- 33:40the McCarthy Performance Centre in Dec McCarthy, the Monster,
- 33:47Kong and Aziz. Now this effectively you felt we
- 33:56were going to go down the lines of Slam and McAfee trying to
- 34:05build build up their match at the Fairfield on March 1st, but
- 34:15I'll kind of come to that a bit later on.
- 34:20So we started off with Troy Ryan for his team.
- 34:25Originally it was going to be Kong, but then Aziz, who either
- 34:30had a lot of sugar or something, said no, no, no, I'll start,
- 34:37I'll start, I'll start and dead King Kong.
- 34:40Just looking, kind of looking at each moment, you're going OK,
- 34:47just in shock almost as to say OK and effectively just saw as
- 34:58he's getting beat up by both Troy Ryan and Slambulans.
- 35:05One move I did love as he's doing is where Slambulans tried
- 35:10to do a double team. They whipped him into the ropes
- 35:15as he's held on to the rope very, very slowly, kind of like
- 35:21let the ring. However, reversing and walking
- 35:26back into Troy, Ryan who is a man mounted himself, lifted
- 35:35disease up easily throwing him through the ropes and just
- 35:41effectively had Samlins have their way with him.
- 35:45In a sense, McCarthy and Kong just looked so lost in thinking
- 35:53what the hell is he doing? Deck was not happy obviously
- 35:58being the head trainer as he felt Aziz was embarrassing him
- 36:03and made this very much well known.
- 36:07Taking him to one side, having words with him saying you're
- 36:12embarrassing me, pick up your game, slap across the face to
- 36:18give him kind of that little G up.
- 36:21Got back in, got immediately knocked back down again.
- 36:28Ended up though tagging out where we saw Kong and Deck
- 36:33getting their lumps in. Then it kind of broke down a bit
- 36:40with Doctor Proctor as my voice begins to go, but as we had
- 36:48Doctor Proctor being isolated for his team, McCarthy and Kong
- 36:57and Aziz working well as a unit. Eventually though we would see
- 37:03Slam getting tagged in slamming, unsurprisingly everyone in the
- 37:09contest and the match kind of just all over the place in a
- 37:19good way. To which we then had Aziz and
- 37:26McAfee I believe it was going oh sorry.
- 37:31Before that we had Kong and Slam in the ring, 2 meaty men
- 37:38slapping meat, basically just ploughing into each other and
- 37:46for the first couple of times no man budged.
- 37:51At the third time Kong seemed to just waver a bit, but this would
- 37:59just lead to the performance Centre team just knocking down
- 38:04Slam a bit, getting the advantage back.
- 38:09Then in the closing stages we had Aziz and McAfee looking to
- 38:17hit. I think it's I want to say it's
- 38:20a tenderizer that meat waggon used to use but I am thinking
- 38:26it's not the actual name. I'm confusing it with the other.
- 38:34But either way it had them staring at Ryan who could do
- 38:39nothing at all. It did not come to pass though,
- 38:46but it did end with some ambulance hitting what could be
- 38:51the tenderizer where you have one man kind of like holding the
- 38:59head, one man holding the legs, and you kind of spin opposite
- 39:04ways and slam them down. It's annoying me how I can not
- 39:09remember this. It's so annoying me but I have a
- 39:12cold so I have an excuse. But ended up with them hitting a
- 39:19former meat waggon move, much to the approval and joy on Troy
- 39:26Ryan's face who could not hide. Kind of them hitting the move
- 39:33almost like a tribute. So after the match we had Ryan
- 39:38in some ambulance shouting down to McAfee and Aziz.
- 39:43However, Kong, who kind of disappeared for the back end of
- 39:49this match, crawled behind Ryan into the ring.
- 39:55Slivering if you like, kind of just getting ready to coil and
- 40:04hit an absolute spear on Troy Ryan the second time now that
- 40:12Kong has hit Ryan with a spear. And it is devastating on both
- 40:19occasions. Equally though during the match,
- 40:24Kong hit a spear on slam. Again, there is a reason I say
- 40:32Kong is a monster, because he is.
- 40:37You look at him, he is intimidating as hell.
- 40:41And when he hits that spear, yeah, you're not getting up.
- 40:47It is one of the most impressive moves in future Shock and you
- 40:58can see why. Kind of like Dex recruited him
- 41:00for that group. So as I say next month, March
- 41:091st at the Fairfield Social Club, it is meant to be Henry
- 41:14the Eighth slam taking on deck McAfee for the future Shock
- 41:20men's title. The only thing I will say about
- 41:28this match is it didn't make you really or you didn't really play
- 41:35amongst Ambulance Slam and Deck. If someone had brought him in
- 41:45and said right, can you tell me who is the champion and who is
- 41:50going to be facing next month or where they going to for like
- 41:54trying to draw it up for a title match.
- 42:00I'd say arguably who'd probably be riding Kong the way it was
- 42:05done, It did. They have put a video out now of
- 42:14kind of slamulins talking about the title match, but there
- 42:19wasn't really anything to kind of let you know that it was
- 42:25going to be slamming deck for the title, which is the only
- 42:30kind of like nitpickity thing I have on this contest.
- 42:37They could have done that a bit better, but hey, what what do I
- 42:44know? But again, that is my only
- 42:48negative slant on that match. We then moved to your main event
- 42:57of the contest, which was Lotto Thunder and Pele taking on HT
- 43:04Drake. This was effectively again root
- 43:13strength in HC Drake taking on the heart of Pele.
- 43:21Drake really did kind of like have most of this match on his
- 43:28on his side. Pele just refused to cave in,
- 43:34stay there the entire time, stayed with it, did not back
- 43:38down, hit some good moves, but it never felt like he could put
- 43:46together a run because Drake always seemed to just know what
- 43:52he was going to do next. Drake just being a physical
- 43:58beast. Not too much I can really
- 44:06mention about this contest other than the the back end where Pele
- 44:13then seemed to have the momentum in the contest.
- 44:18Drake picking up his water bottle spraying it in the eyes
- 44:23of Drake. I think he then did hit that
- 44:27code breaker on Pele or he went to hit a similar move Pele would
- 44:34kick out, which annoyed Drake very much.
- 44:39Went to grab the water bottle again.
- 44:42Referee Reese grabbing the bottle as well.
- 44:46Drake and Reese just back and forth with the bottle.
- 44:53The bottle spraying in the eyes of Drake.
- 44:57Pele getting some offence or hitting a couple of moves with a
- 45:03a kind of like a spinning. I mean, I have mentioned this
- 45:13before, but I cannot remember the move I actually thought to
- 45:19call it because I don't know if Pele has actually decided on
- 45:24what it's called. But as you'll see from the
- 45:30video, he hits that particular move where he kind of gets the
- 45:37the arm and almost does like a forward roll but it's like a
- 45:41side on code red in a way. But Pele wins Lotto Thunder
- 45:48champion for 2026. First person to celebrate with
- 45:54him was James Grayson who I originally thought was someone
- 45:59trying to jump him until I realised who it was.
- 46:04So Gen One, celebrate loads of hugs.
- 46:10James Greenwood, who was not reffing tonight, He was our MC
- 46:16for the night. So we then had Grayson Greenwood
- 46:23with three kind of folders. We had a black folder which I
- 46:32think was for the men's title A, I think it was a blue one for
- 46:40the adrenaline. I think it might have been
- 46:42yellow for the tag titles or green.
- 46:45I can't, it's been too long. So we then have Pele having to
- 46:52decide what route he's going to take.
- 46:56Gets the microphone. Genuinely seems caught out by
- 47:01the reaction that the fans gave him for winning as he was in
- 47:06tears as a few people were in the crowd.
- 47:10To be fair, he then runs through his options.
- 47:15He says that Deck is running through future and someone needs
- 47:20to stop him. The Adrenaline title, which is
- 47:24held by his kind of Big Brother in Tony Wright the tag team
- 47:30titles, is something that he and Grayson have been fighting for
- 47:35for ages, and it's about time that they get what they deserve.
- 47:45However, he opted to go so. There's only really one thing I
- 47:51really need to do. We'll take on the future Shop
- 48:11Men's champion. However.
- 48:19However, on the 1st March of Fairfield Social Club take up
- 48:23the company, we'll be defending our belts against Slum Johnson
- 48:27Stone on March 13th at the end of you time while the Men's
- 48:32Championship shot it's either Slam Johnson or Declan McCarthy.
- 48:39He opted to go for the men's championship and had a really
- 48:45weird atmosphere with the crowd thinking, oh he should have gone
- 48:52for the tag titles and had Grayson a bit stunned.
- 49:02Not very. He wasn't pleased but he had a
- 49:10look of his sad. I'm trying to think of the word
- 49:18and words currently escaping me. He looked a bit crestfallen that
- 49:26Pele had opted for the solo title.
- 49:31However, you can make the point that things like this do not
- 49:36come along too often and having the choice of any title going
- 49:46for the men's title is something he may not get another chance to
- 49:50do. So therefore it it seems a good
- 49:56decision. They're not the tag titles.
- 50:00They can always kind of like come back to.
- 50:06But Grayson, who for a time looked really kind of unhappy
- 50:12and shocked at the decision, then kind of seemed to come
- 50:15round to it, poked him, seemed to think, OK, I I understand
- 50:23even though a lot of the crowd were not happy, they all thought
- 50:27Pele should have gone for the tag titles.
- 50:30But I can't remember when it is. See if I can find it on my
- 50:39schedule, which I would imagine is going to be, I think it's
- 50:49March 28th, I believe at the MMU in Manchester.
- 51:00March the 28th, I think is when Pele will face the winner of Eva
- 51:07Dec McCarthy and Henry the eighth, Sam Johnson on March the
- 51:141st. So whatever comes of that, Pele
- 51:20will be there to space whoever is the champion effectively.
- 51:28But yeah, that is going to be interesting to see what happens
- 51:33with that. Now one question I have seen is
- 51:38a Gen one. OK, I've I think they are, but
- 51:48it probably has a Band-Aid or plaster over there.
- 51:55But again, we will see what happens in the future, right.
- 52:03So that is the end of your future shock.
- 52:07Look back. It was a really fun show.
- 52:13I can believe one of the best shows they've done this year.
- 52:18If truth be told. It was nice also to see
- 52:24pencilled in Nikki and pencilled in Mike with Ben and Little and
- 52:30because I don't see them all that often.
- 52:33Plus we haven't podcasted for a while.
- 52:36So hopefully that is rectified because if truth be told, if not
- 52:44for them to, I probably would not be doing this podcast now.
- 52:48So I have AI have a lot to be thankful for because of them.
- 52:56So the plans for this week is I'm going to try and do a TNT
- 53:03look back from the other week with miles who is nearing up my
- 53:10unofficial Co host. We again we should have done
- 53:14this last week. Trying to get a time for both of
- 53:20us was not really that good. Also I was at wrestling shows so
- 53:27I couldn't particularly solve that either.
- 53:32So we're looking at sometime this week and TNT special and
- 53:39the back end of the week we will have a Salford City Wrestling
- 53:44review with hopefully 2 very special guests too that you have
- 53:52heard on on here in the in the past.
- 53:57So that is exciting because the Salford show this past past
- 54:04Friday I should say, was a really good show.
- 54:11Well, kind of top more Salford at the back end of this week.
- 54:18I would say if you go into a wrestling show, enjoy it, but I
- 54:23don't think there's many this week, but I think Infinite
- 54:29holding one at the brewery, the former home of Atomic Wrestling
- 54:36in Liverpool. So if you can afford it and if
- 54:40you can go, I highly recommend going.
- 54:45I will get to an infinite show sometime.
- 54:49The card looks really good though I don't have it with me
- 54:54personally because again, I don't have the best memory hence
- 55:02why I have to film a lot just so I can remember because I'm a
- 55:05decrepit age of. But other than that, I thank you
- 55:12very, very much for listening or watching, and well done for
- 55:19getting through however long this episode has of me dressed
- 55:25in a dragon onesie. Well done to you as I'm sweating
- 55:35myself away in this costume for me, absolute eater going off at
- 55:42the side of me. But yes, enjoy your wrestling,
- 55:53have a good rest of your week. Stay safe.
- 56:01I will catch you on an episode very.
