Northland primary school converts to charter system
A Northland primary school has become the first state school in New Zealand to convert to the current charter system. Pakaraka School will now be run by the Society of Holistic Learners - a charitable trust led by parents at the school. Principal Patricia Simeon spoke to Ingrid Hipkiss about the conversion.
