- 0:13Speaker 1: Hello you guys. Welcome back to another episode of the
- 0:16Speaker 1: Hawkerel Energy Podcast. I'm your host, Kayleie, and this is
- 0:19Speaker 1: your weekly reminder that it's a new day, a new week,
- 0:22Speaker 1: a new mindset, and another day if you become the
- 0:24Speaker 1: Hockrel Energy you want to attract. Hello you guys. It
- 0:29Speaker 1: has been an entire month of not being on the podcast. Well,
- 0:35Speaker 1: it hasn't been an entire month. I think it's only
- 0:36Speaker 1: been technically three weeks because I uploaded an episode while
- 0:39Speaker 1: I was in Italy, literally on my wedding morning, which
- 0:43Speaker 1: is so funny. But I uploaded the episode on my
- 0:46Speaker 1: wedding morning, and now we're here. I have not recorded
- 0:50Speaker 1: an episode since I've been home, and yeah, it's technically
- 0:54Speaker 1: been a month since I've been on the mic. And wow,
- 0:58Speaker 1: does it ever feel good to be back. I missed
- 1:00Speaker 1: you guys. I miss just chatting away and just getting
- 1:04Speaker 1: back into my work routine and all that. But I
- 1:08Speaker 1: know why you guys are here, because I got married.
- 1:12Speaker 1: Oh I cannot believe it. I'm literally speechless. I still
- 1:15Speaker 1: can't believe it all happened. It has been such an
- 1:19Speaker 1: amazing month, Like I could cry just thinking about it
- 1:23Speaker 1: because It truly was the best month of my entire life.
- 1:27Speaker 1: The happiness that Zach and I have felt just from
- 1:31Speaker 1: you guys, our friends and family and just you know,
- 1:35Speaker 1: becoming husband and wife is a feeling that I can't
- 1:38Speaker 1: even describe. Like it is the best feeling in the
- 1:43Speaker 1: world to know that it is officially forever. And yeah,
- 1:48Speaker 1: we're just on a wedding high, like we have been
- 1:51Speaker 1: enjoying every moment of calling each other husband and wife.
- 1:55Speaker 1: It's still so weird to call it my husband. I
- 1:59Speaker 1: still have to correct myself every single time. Like if
- 2:01Speaker 1: I'm you know, running errands and I'm talking to someone
- 2:05Speaker 1: and I say, oh, yeah, like my fiance, I'm like,
- 2:06Speaker 1: oh crap, my husband. Like I have to correct myself
- 2:09Speaker 1: every time because I'm not used to it. And you know,
- 2:13Speaker 1: I just get so giddy when he calls me his wife,
- 2:15Speaker 1: and I don't know, the whole honeymoon, it was so
- 2:19Speaker 1: fun to just like, yeah, see him with a wedding
- 2:22Speaker 1: band on and again, just like calling each other husband
- 2:25Speaker 1: and wife like those little things. It just I don't know,
- 2:28Speaker 1: it was truly the best month of my life. But anyways,
- 2:32Speaker 1: I do want to give a bit of a post
- 2:34Speaker 1: wedding debrief. I won't get into it too much because
- 2:38Speaker 1: there is two episodes that we recorded before we left
- 2:41Speaker 1: that really just gave a rundown of everything that happened
- 2:45Speaker 1: throughout our wedding week, so things that we did beforehand,
- 2:49Speaker 1: you know, with our welcome party, rehearsal, dinner, all that.
- 2:51Speaker 1: So I'm just gonna give you like a deep brief
- 2:54Speaker 1: of everything that actually happened the day of. But if
- 2:56Speaker 1: you want like planning details or anything like that in
- 2:58Speaker 1: terms of how we planned, you know, our wedding week
- 3:02Speaker 1: or things that we did within our within our honeymoon,
- 3:04Speaker 1: all that that is in a previous episode before this.
- 3:08Speaker 1: But yeah, so let's give a bit of a wedding
- 3:12Speaker 1: deep brief. So basically, we were in Revelo by August sixth,
- 3:19Speaker 1: so we had my bacherette, which was amazing, guys, it
- 3:22Speaker 1: was so fun. Highly highly recommend tying in your bacherette
- 3:26Speaker 1: to your wedding week. I thought that was the best
- 3:29Speaker 1: idea ever in my opinion, because I don't know, it
- 3:32Speaker 1: just felt like it was an entire week of festivities
- 3:35Speaker 1: besides just a two day thing, Like it was NonStop
- 3:39Speaker 1: for seven days and I do not regret that at all.
- 3:41Speaker 1: I think it was the best decision to do that. Like,
- 3:44Speaker 1: we flew into Rome, which you guys know, we were
- 3:46Speaker 1: there for three days. People were just doing tourist things.
- 3:48Speaker 1: Everyone was kind of like on their own or everybody
- 3:51Speaker 1: kind of dispersed into different groups. So there was a
- 3:53Speaker 1: group of like six people that have never been to Rome,
- 3:56Speaker 1: so that they were doing all like the high tourist
- 3:59Speaker 1: things like the Coliseum, the Vatican all that, and then
- 4:02Speaker 1: there was like a group of ten of us that
- 4:04Speaker 1: have already been to Rome, so we were just doing
- 4:06Speaker 1: like you know, a hop on, hop off bus tour.
- 4:09Speaker 1: Like we kind of just did a really chill day
- 4:12Speaker 1: of just roaming around Rome, you know, hitting different drink
- 4:15Speaker 1: spots all that. I think. We went clubbing twice in Rome,
- 4:19Speaker 1: which was a very interesting experience. And I don't really
- 4:21Speaker 1: go clubbing, but when I'm with my big group of friends,
- 4:24Speaker 1: like obviously, I'm always down for a good time. So
- 4:27Speaker 1: it was very fun. And then we went to Sorrento
- 4:30Speaker 1: and that's where we had my bacherette and it was
- 4:33Speaker 1: so so fun. We went to a Lemon Tree restaurant,
- 4:38Speaker 1: which I think everything I can try and link maybe
- 4:41Speaker 1: in this episode description in case you guys are planning
- 4:44Speaker 1: travels for next summer or looking for inspo for just
- 4:49Speaker 1: a vacation to go to Italy. And it was such
- 4:53Speaker 1: a cute dinner spot. It was literally the most esthetic place.
- 4:57Speaker 1: It was literally covered in lemon trees. There were some
- 4:59Speaker 1: people that were actually confus why we did a lemon theme,
- 5:01Speaker 1: but I thought it was very aware to people that
- 5:05Speaker 1: a Mafi Coast is very known for like the lemon
- 5:08Speaker 1: terra cotta. Look like, if you go to a Mafi
- 5:10Speaker 1: coast and you walk around, everything is either lemon print,
- 5:14Speaker 1: they have lemon gelato, they have literally lemons like sold
- 5:18Speaker 1: on stands, like it's just a very common thing in
- 5:21Speaker 1: the al Mafi Coast area. So I thought that was
- 5:23Speaker 1: very well known, but I guess it wasn't. And so
- 5:25Speaker 1: that's why we did a lemon theme for one of
- 5:28Speaker 1: the Batchorette nights, just because it kind of went with
- 5:31Speaker 1: the theme of Sorrento in al Mafi Coast area. So
- 5:36Speaker 1: we did that. We did like a karaoke bar, we
- 5:38Speaker 1: went clubbing again that night and then came back we
- 5:42Speaker 1: did a boat day, which it was amazing, don't get
- 5:46Speaker 1: me wrong, but I was so seasick. I have never
- 5:51Speaker 1: been so seasick in my life. And I feel like
- 5:53Speaker 1: we didn't get much content on the boat because I
- 5:55Speaker 1: was so sick. Like I got some stuff, but man,
- 5:59Speaker 1: it was it was very hard. I did not think
- 6:02Speaker 1: I was going to get that sick on the boat,
- 6:03Speaker 1: but I did. And I wasn't the only one. There
- 6:06Speaker 1: was I think four other girls that were also struggling,
- 6:08Speaker 1: Like one of my girlfriends, she pewed like ten times
- 6:10Speaker 1: off the boat, like to be fully transparent, like it
- 6:14Speaker 1: was not all glamorous that you saw on Instagram, Like
- 6:17Speaker 1: that's the true behind the scenes of that day. But
- 6:20Speaker 1: don't regret it. It was still amazing. And we also went
- 6:23Speaker 1: to that popular beach club in Capri. So that's what
- 6:26Speaker 1: we did for the day. We went to Capri for
- 6:27Speaker 1: the day and we went to the beach club that
- 6:29Speaker 1: was called La Fortanella. Very different than what I thought
- 6:33Speaker 1: it was going to be, like, very more chill. I
- 6:35Speaker 1: thought it was going to be more like beach club vibes,
- 6:37Speaker 1: and it definitely was not giving that at all. It
- 6:39Speaker 1: was very very chill, which was very fine, Like we
- 6:43Speaker 1: could use some chill time like that. So it was
- 6:45Speaker 1: very nice, just to like chill by the ocean, get
- 6:48Speaker 1: lunch all that, and then we walked around the Capri
- 6:51Speaker 1: area for probably two hours, just like trying to check
- 6:54Speaker 1: out the town and it was so so nice. And
- 6:57Speaker 1: then we took the boat back like we did like
- 7:01Speaker 1: a bunch of like swim stops, right, So, if you've
- 7:03Speaker 1: ever been on a boat tour, usually they bring you
- 7:04Speaker 1: to different spots to go swimming. So the last swim stop,
- 7:09Speaker 1: we popped some champagne and just all jumped in and
- 7:11Speaker 1: had the best time. And yeah, that was kind of
- 7:14Speaker 1: like the end to that day. And we had like
- 7:15Speaker 1: a PG night because we didn't want to go out
- 7:17Speaker 1: after literally being on a boat from like ten am
- 7:21Speaker 1: to eight pm I think it was. It was a
- 7:24Speaker 1: really long day. So we decided to do a PG
- 7:27Speaker 1: night and play games just like you know, the typical
- 7:29Speaker 1: bacherette games. And yeah, it was the perfect end to
- 7:32Speaker 1: the batchrette. And that's when we headed to Ravello, which
- 7:35Speaker 1: is where we got married. Can we talk about how
- 7:37Speaker 1: beautiful Ravelo is If you have never been to Revelo,
- 7:41Speaker 1: it is a little hidden gem then not a lot
- 7:43Speaker 1: of people know about. And I am forever obsessed with
- 7:48Speaker 1: that place. That was the third time of me visiting Ravello,
- 7:52Speaker 1: and it is probably my favorite place that I've ever
- 7:55Speaker 1: visited in my life. Like I'm not even over exaggerating,
- 7:57Speaker 1: Like it still blows my mind every single time there.
- 8:00Speaker 1: It is very much a small town, but it's up
- 8:03Speaker 1: in the mountains. The views are just like the pictures
- 8:08Speaker 1: that you see, just don't do the view justice like
- 8:10Speaker 1: all the videos that you guys have seen. In the pictures,
- 8:12Speaker 1: of course it looks amazing, but when you see it
- 8:14Speaker 1: in person, it is jaw dropping, like it is something
- 8:18Speaker 1: out of a movie. Like it can't even describe it.
- 8:21Speaker 1: It is truly the most beautiful place I've ever been to,
- 8:23Speaker 1: and the fact that we got married there is like
- 8:26Speaker 1: I get goosebumps just thinking about it because it is
- 8:28Speaker 1: such a beautiful place. So if there's one place I
- 8:30Speaker 1: could recommend, if you ever go to the Amafi coast,
- 8:32Speaker 1: I know, there's Pastiano, there's Capri, There's so many amazing
- 8:35Speaker 1: places to see. You need to make Rivello like somewhere
- 8:39Speaker 1: on your list, because it is truly my favorite place
- 8:42Speaker 1: in the world. And it's not just because I got
- 8:45Speaker 1: married there. It's strictly just because I've like have never
- 8:48Speaker 1: seen a more beautiful place. And I'm not the only
- 8:49Speaker 1: person that says that. Like every time we were in
- 8:52Speaker 1: a cab and like when we were in Torrento, the
- 8:54Speaker 1: cab drivers could obviously tell I was the bride and
- 8:56Speaker 1: they were like, oh, you're getting married. Where are you're
- 8:58Speaker 1: getting married? Like, oh, I'm getting married, you know, at
- 9:01Speaker 1: the Belmont Crusoe and Velo, And they would be like, oh, wow, Revello,
- 9:06Speaker 1: Like they would literally just hide that place up so
- 9:09Speaker 1: much because they were like, not a lot of people
- 9:11Speaker 1: know about Ravello, Like it is one of the most
- 9:12Speaker 1: beautiful places in this town. Like just everyone just says
- 9:16Speaker 1: it's a hidden gem that nobody really talks about. And
- 9:19Speaker 1: they were just like so blown away that we were
- 9:21Speaker 1: getting married there. So anyways, it is a place that
- 9:25Speaker 1: you need to visit. It has to be on your
- 9:26Speaker 1: bucket list because it is the most beautiful place in
- 9:29Speaker 1: the world. But anyways, we got into Ravelo on August sixth,
- 9:31Speaker 1: and it was our welcome parties. So what we did
- 9:35Speaker 1: is we actually made our Airbnb our venue for that night.
- 9:39Speaker 1: We didn't want to rent out a space for the
- 9:41Speaker 1: party or anything, just because obviously a things get expensive b.
- 9:44Speaker 1: We had two large terraces on our Airbnb, which we
- 9:49Speaker 1: were shocked to see the views. Did you guys see
- 9:52Speaker 1: those photos of the view from our ARABNB that was
- 9:54Speaker 1: not pictured in the ad like or not the ad,
- 9:57Speaker 1: but like on the Airbnb website. Like when we booked it,
- 10:00Speaker 1: we had no idea that was the view. We just
- 10:01Speaker 1: saw like two large spaces and it slept like twenty
- 10:05Speaker 1: two people. So we're like, perfect, we have a large
- 10:07Speaker 1: group of friends, like that could basically sleep our entire
- 10:10Speaker 1: friend group and there was enough space to host an
- 10:13Speaker 1: event there. When we got there and we got on
- 10:15Speaker 1: top of the terrace and we saw literally the entire
- 10:18Speaker 1: view of the mountains and just the homes of the
- 10:20Speaker 1: mountains and all that. Zach and I were just like,
- 10:22Speaker 1: this was not in the Airbnb pictured at all. And
- 10:25Speaker 1: we were not complaining. We were just blown away how
- 10:28Speaker 1: beautiful the view was from up top. And they had
- 10:31Speaker 1: two hot tubs, which you would think, oh, they're hot tubs. No,
- 10:35Speaker 1: they were literally pools like they were super cold, which
- 10:37Speaker 1: was perfect because it was extremely hot. I will say
- 10:40Speaker 1: it was very very hot in August, but the weather
- 10:43Speaker 1: was beautiful every single day we were in Italy, Like,
- 10:47Speaker 1: we had not one day of rain, so I was
- 10:50Speaker 1: very happy with that. I would take a sweaty day
- 10:53Speaker 1: over a rainy day. That's just my opinion. So it
- 10:55Speaker 1: was so warm out, so having those two hot tubs
- 10:59Speaker 1: being at colder tubemperatures was perfect. Like everybody would go
- 11:02Speaker 1: up on the terrace, we'd have drinks, we'd just chill
- 11:04Speaker 1: and like admire the view and just be an awe
- 11:06Speaker 1: of where we were. And that was the night when
- 11:09Speaker 1: we got ready for the first night. I unfortunately got
- 11:12Speaker 1: ready extremely late that night, which really bothered me because
- 11:15Speaker 1: I really wanted to get more photos taken and all that,
- 11:18Speaker 1: and anyways, I think that's just like wonder God, I
- 11:19Speaker 1: wish I got ready earlier. I think I was just
- 11:21Speaker 1: so tired from the go go go that I forced
- 11:24Speaker 1: myself to relax a little too much. And Zach's always
- 11:28Speaker 1: on me. Zach's always like, you should probably start getting ready.
- 11:30Speaker 1: We know you take two hours to get ready, and
- 11:32Speaker 1: I'm like, no, like my hair's washed, it won't take
- 11:34Speaker 1: me that long. Blah blah blah. Like, Kylly, just listen
- 11:37Speaker 1: to your husband and stop like finding reasons to not
- 11:40Speaker 1: get ready earlier. So anyways, got ready late, which whatever,
- 11:43Speaker 1: I made it on time to the party. That's all
- 11:44Speaker 1: that matters. And obviously Zach and I stayed there the
- 11:47Speaker 1: first night, so we were able to be with our
- 11:50Speaker 1: guests and all that, and it wasn't hard to get
- 11:51Speaker 1: to the location. We literally just walked up the stairs
- 11:54Speaker 1: and we were at the Terrorists. The outfit turned out
- 11:56Speaker 1: super cute. I wore that cute little white mini with
- 11:58Speaker 1: the gloves and white bow, and yeah, it was just
- 12:02Speaker 1: like the perfect welcome party fit. Everybody just kind of
- 12:05Speaker 1: got to know each other, which I think was the
- 12:07Speaker 1: perfect way to start the wedding weekend. We were just
- 12:10Speaker 1: really wanting people to connect and get to know each
- 12:13Speaker 1: other more, and it felt really really nice just to
- 12:16Speaker 1: see different people that you know, we weren't expecting to
- 12:19Speaker 1: get along really well or I don't know, just like
- 12:21Speaker 1: seeing everybody group together and get to know each other
- 12:24Speaker 1: was really nice. And you know, seeing my parents get
- 12:26Speaker 1: to know my friends better and seeing Zach's parents get
- 12:30Speaker 1: to know our friends better all that. It was just
- 12:32Speaker 1: really nice to have everyone well connected. And that night
- 12:35Speaker 1: we also rented a DJ and he was amazing. That
- 12:38Speaker 1: was the best purchase by far was to hire a
- 12:42Speaker 1: DJ for the welcome party. That party literally went out
- 12:45Speaker 1: of control, like people had their shirts off, Like I
- 12:47Speaker 1: don't even know what happened, Like it was literally such
- 12:51Speaker 1: a fun night. I think it went to like one am,
- 12:53Speaker 1: and then we ended up, you know, ending it off.
- 12:55Speaker 1: There the noise complaints we were really concerned about, but
- 12:59Speaker 1: it really was not about it all, Like we had
- 13:01Speaker 1: not one single noise complaint. No one called the cops, nothing.
- 13:04Speaker 1: So I was shocked because I thought in a small
- 13:06Speaker 1: town like Vello, it would be really hard to get
- 13:08Speaker 1: away with a DJ or just anything in the DJ
- 13:12Speaker 1: was like, oh my gosh, No, Revela is so chill,
- 13:14Speaker 1: like you have nothing to worry about. I'm like, wow, okay,
- 13:17Speaker 1: that's great. So nothing happened oue of it. I was
- 13:20Speaker 1: a little stressed that we were going to get the
- 13:21Speaker 1: cops called on us, just because we were literally throwing
- 13:24Speaker 1: a party at an airbnb, but it was fine. And
- 13:27Speaker 1: then the next day we had our rehearsal dinner, so
- 13:30Speaker 1: we checked into our hotel, which was the Belmont Cruso.
- 13:33Speaker 1: That was the wedding venue, and Zach's never seen it before,
- 13:36Speaker 1: so it was the perfect start to that day because
- 13:40Speaker 1: Zach and I got to like walk through the entire
- 13:42Speaker 1: venue together and he was just an awe. He was
- 13:45Speaker 1: just like, oh my god, Like the pictures do not
- 13:47Speaker 1: do this place justice. Like seeing it in person is
- 13:49Speaker 1: just like ten times better. And yeah, just checking into
- 13:52Speaker 1: our hotel room was so freaking nice. That was probably
- 13:56Speaker 1: the nicest hotel room I've ever stayed in my life.
- 13:59Speaker 1: Like I've never stayed in a nicer room ever. So
- 14:02Speaker 1: just feeling very luxurious on our wedding, I think it
- 14:05Speaker 1: made it felt very special. And just being treated like
- 14:08Speaker 1: royalty like it was just I can't even explain. It
- 14:11Speaker 1: was just so magical. So on the rehearsal dinner night,
- 14:14Speaker 1: Zach stayed with me in the entire time while I
- 14:16Speaker 1: got ready, which was nice. We had our content creator
- 14:19Speaker 1: there as well, so I hired content for Brides. They're
- 14:22Speaker 1: based in the UK and they are a team of
- 14:26Speaker 1: two I believe, and I had Lois there. She is
- 14:29Speaker 1: the sweetest human being ever. She was amazing. She killed it.
- 14:33Speaker 1: So all the content that you've seen through my Instagram,
- 14:36Speaker 1: my TikTok that was filmed either on the rehearsal dinner
- 14:39Speaker 1: night or stuff that was filmed for the wedding. She
- 14:42Speaker 1: did everything. I just edited it myself just because I
- 14:45Speaker 1: like to edit my own videos. But they do offer
- 14:47Speaker 1: editing services as well. So if you're the kind of
- 14:50Speaker 1: person that wants to have a crap ton of content
- 14:53Speaker 1: from their wedding, highly highly recommend hiring a content creator.
- 14:57Speaker 1: It's honestly not that much, like I think it's maybe
- 15:01Speaker 1: like I think I paid maybe fifteen hundred not even
- 15:03Speaker 1: like to be fully transparent, which is not that expensive
- 15:06Speaker 1: compared to a photographer or a videographer or anything like that.
- 15:09Speaker 1: Like when you start figuring out, like how much you
- 15:11Speaker 1: spend for your wedding, like it really isn't a big cost.
- 15:15Speaker 1: And even if you're not a content creator and you
- 15:17Speaker 1: just want like iPhone footage to look back at or
- 15:20Speaker 1: anything like that, Like I've looked back at the videos
- 15:22Speaker 1: so many times just to be able to relive that
- 15:24Speaker 1: moment and not even use the content to edit and
- 15:27Speaker 1: post it, you know what I mean, Like you don't
- 15:29Speaker 1: need to have the iPhone footage to post. It's more
- 15:31Speaker 1: so also just to keep for memories, and it was
- 15:34Speaker 1: the best decisions. So highly highly recommend it if you're
- 15:37Speaker 1: a bride and you're not sure if you want to hire,
- 15:40Speaker 1: you know, a content creator to film your wedding or
- 15:43Speaker 1: anything like that, but if you want to have those
- 15:45Speaker 1: videos for memories or anything like that, I don't know.
- 15:47Speaker 1: I think it was the best idea. And yeah, content
- 15:51Speaker 1: for brides was so great. So she filmed me getting
- 15:54Speaker 1: my hair and makeup done and my outfit change and
- 15:57Speaker 1: all that. And as you guys saw, I wore you
- 16:00Speaker 1: I didn't wear white, which honestly was the best decision
- 16:03Speaker 1: because I really wanted to do an all white party,
- 16:06Speaker 1: but I wanted to stand out in a way, so
- 16:07Speaker 1: I felt like if I was wearing white, I wouldn't
- 16:09Speaker 1: stick out. So I was thinking gold, I was thinking silver.
- 16:12Speaker 1: Couldn't find a nice scold or silver dress that I liked.
- 16:15Speaker 1: And then this yellow one just spoke to me that
- 16:18Speaker 1: I found on a website called rat and Boa. I've
- 16:20Speaker 1: botten from them in the past. I've never had any
- 16:22Speaker 1: issues ordering with them. Like everything I've purchased from them
- 16:25Speaker 1: has looked amazing. You know. If I ever had to
- 16:28Speaker 1: get like minor alterations, it was super easy. Whatever. And
- 16:32Speaker 1: I knew my bridesmaids were wearing yellow at the time
- 16:35Speaker 1: and again because Almafi Coast is just known for lemons
- 16:38Speaker 1: and yellow. I don't know, I just felt like it
- 16:40Speaker 1: fit the theme so well, and I'm like, this is
- 16:43Speaker 1: my opportunity just to like shine and be different and
- 16:46Speaker 1: just wear a different color. And it was the best decision.
- 16:50Speaker 1: That dress was insane. I literally want to rewar that
- 16:54Speaker 1: so many times. I think I'm going to keep it.
- 16:57Speaker 1: I am planning on selling a few to my Bridle looks,
- 16:59Speaker 1: keep you guys updated on that. I will probably share
- 17:02Speaker 1: some stuff on Instagram to purchase it off my poshmark account.
- 17:05Speaker 1: But I think the yellow dress I want to keep
- 17:08Speaker 1: because I think I could wear it to a future weddings.
- 17:10Speaker 1: So anyways, that dress was worth every penny. It was
- 17:14Speaker 1: so stunning. I loved it. I did have to get
- 17:16Speaker 1: minor alterations to it, but nothing crazy, just taking it
- 17:20Speaker 1: in around my hips and yeah, she was the moment
- 17:24Speaker 1: I was stressed about my hair and makeup that day
- 17:26Speaker 1: because guys, I'm not even kidding. I've never worn my
- 17:28Speaker 1: hair up like that ever, Like I usually do like
- 17:32Speaker 1: a messy bun myself, but it's never been like a
- 17:34Speaker 1: fancy bun, you know what I mean. Like the fancy
- 17:36Speaker 1: bun that they do at hair salons, and I never
- 17:39Speaker 1: did a bridal like hair trial for that. So for
- 17:42Speaker 1: like the first hour, I'm not even kidding, I'm like,
- 17:44Speaker 1: oh my god, I hate my hair. I hate my hair.
- 17:46Speaker 1: I hate my hair, Like I hated it so much.
- 17:48Speaker 1: But now looking back at all the photos and videos,
- 17:50Speaker 1: I'm like, I'm so happy I did that hair, Like,
- 17:52Speaker 1: I'm so happy how good it turned out in the
- 17:55Speaker 1: videos and in the pictures. I think I was just
- 17:57Speaker 1: having a bit of a who the fuck do I
- 18:01Speaker 1: look like right now? Just because I've never done my
- 18:03Speaker 1: hair like that before. I don't know if anyone else
- 18:05Speaker 1: has felt like that where they look at themselves they
- 18:07Speaker 1: don't recognize themselves, right. So that's why for my wedding hair,
- 18:10Speaker 1: I ended up wearing it down because that feels like myself,
- 18:13Speaker 1: Like I felt like it was just me and it
- 18:15Speaker 1: was meant for me. But doing my hair up like that,
- 18:18Speaker 1: I just felt like it wasn't me. But don't regret it.
- 18:20Speaker 1: I think it turned out amazing and all that. But
- 18:22Speaker 1: in the moment, for like the first hour, I was
- 18:24Speaker 1: like almost in tears because I was like, I don't
- 18:26Speaker 1: think I like this I don't think it's gonna photograph.
- 18:29Speaker 1: Well it's not, you know, suiting my face whatever. So
- 18:33Speaker 1: I think that's very normal to feel that way. But
- 18:36Speaker 1: I ended up loving how all the pictures and videos
- 18:39Speaker 1: turned out, so very happy that I did it all
- 18:42Speaker 1: in all, The night turned out so well. We did
- 18:45Speaker 1: a whole little lemon theme there, which you guys saw.
- 18:47Speaker 1: We did like lemon name tags. We had it in
- 18:51Speaker 1: like this garden restaurant it's called Villa Maria. I was
- 18:54Speaker 1: so cute. And yeah, the dinner turned out super nice.
- 18:58Speaker 1: It was a very chill night, which was nice. Like
- 19:00Speaker 1: right after the dinner, which I think was around ten o'clock,
- 19:03Speaker 1: everybody went home, like we didn't do any after party
- 19:05Speaker 1: or anything like that. Because Zach and I had a
- 19:07Speaker 1: lot to do. We had to write letters to each
- 19:10Speaker 1: of our groomsmen and bridesmaids. We wanted to have a
- 19:13Speaker 1: little moment just him and I just like you know,
- 19:15Speaker 1: saying goodbye because we decided not to sleep together on
- 19:17Speaker 1: the wedding night. He slept in his room and I
- 19:20Speaker 1: slept with my sister. That night, we opened our letter,
- 19:25Speaker 1: which if you guys haven't seen that video, you guys
- 19:27Speaker 1: need to go see that video. Zach kept a letter
- 19:31Speaker 1: that I wrote him at seventeen. So if you're new
- 19:34Speaker 1: to the pod or if you don't follow my social medias,
- 19:37Speaker 1: I have been with Zach for almost twelve years, and
- 19:40Speaker 1: when we were seventeen, I remember that when I don't
- 19:44Speaker 1: know what it was, I think I found it through Pinterest,
- 19:46Speaker 1: and it was open letters for certain situations. So open
- 19:50Speaker 1: when you're sick, open when you're feeling down, open when
- 19:54Speaker 1: we get married, open when whatever the case. You get
- 19:56Speaker 1: the point. So I made like ten letters and I
- 20:00Speaker 1: put it in this box and I gave it to
- 20:02Speaker 1: him our first Christmas. And since then he has kept
- 20:06Speaker 1: every single letter that I wrote him. And I was
- 20:11Speaker 1: not anticipating him to bring that letter on our flight,
- 20:15Speaker 1: like he surprised me, and he's like, I want to
- 20:18Speaker 1: open it up together. I don't want to just open
- 20:20Speaker 1: it up the morning up because I said open it
- 20:22Speaker 1: on the wedding, like the wedding morning, and he's like, no, no, no,
- 20:24Speaker 1: We're opening it up together. And so we recorded our
- 20:27Speaker 1: reaction because it was so shocking to me to have
- 20:31Speaker 1: had this letter that I wrote to him eleven years ago.
- 20:34Speaker 1: And the video has like over four hundred thousand views,
- 20:37Speaker 1: and the comments are just so touching, like everyone's like
- 20:40Speaker 1: I can't believe you basically manifested your relationship, Like I
- 20:44Speaker 1: cannot believe how much love you guys have had for
- 20:46Speaker 1: each other for so long, And the fact you wrote
- 20:50Speaker 1: that and Zach kept that, like it just shows how
- 20:53Speaker 1: much meaning there was behind the letter and how much
- 20:55Speaker 1: meaning there was behind just that gift that I gave him,
- 20:59Speaker 1: and and yeah, it was truly the most touching thing
- 21:03Speaker 1: was to be able to open that together. And we
- 21:06Speaker 1: were very emotional. We are very emotional people, but wow,
- 21:11Speaker 1: was that a way to go into the wedding. And
- 21:14Speaker 1: so that's how we ended our night. We read her letter,
- 21:16Speaker 1: we had a little moment, and then woke up and
- 21:19Speaker 1: it was wedding day. And I'm sure you guys saw
- 21:23Speaker 1: the whole story recap of our wedding morning. But woke
- 21:27Speaker 1: up extremely early because obviously I was so excited. I
- 21:29Speaker 1: actually had a very good sleep that day, so I
- 21:31Speaker 1: was very happy about that. Woke up that morning and
- 21:35Speaker 1: I was nervous, for sure. I think just the nerves
- 21:38Speaker 1: of excitement more so like nerves of like being nervous
- 21:41Speaker 1: to walk down the aisle or whatever. It was more
- 21:43Speaker 1: nerves of excitement and yeah, so I laid out all
- 21:47Speaker 1: the girls' pjs. I know, had all these letters written
- 21:51Speaker 1: for each of my bridesmaids and just like little gifts
- 21:53Speaker 1: that I gave them, and then hair and makeup started
- 21:57Speaker 1: to arrive, our content creator arrived. Everything was just getting
- 22:01Speaker 1: more and more real, I think, and then we ordered
- 22:04Speaker 1: breakfast to the room. We all had breakfast, so it
- 22:06Speaker 1: was kind of like a nice, chill, fun morning, played music,
- 22:09Speaker 1: and we got our hair and makeup started at eight am,
- 22:12Speaker 1: so we were like, let's get this started because we
- 22:14Speaker 1: really wanted to get photos and all that taken beforehand,
- 22:17Speaker 1: so we had an early start and I immediately get
- 22:21Speaker 1: my laptop and I start uploading the podcast because I'm like,
- 22:23Speaker 1: oh my god, I forgot to do that yesterday, like
- 22:25Speaker 1: I need to upload it. And anyways, that's where you
- 22:28Speaker 1: see the videos and me try to upload the podcast,
- 22:30Speaker 1: and it took a while because the internet was not
- 22:32Speaker 1: the greatest, so it took a while to upload. But
- 22:35Speaker 1: I literally uploaded the most recent podcast episodes, not this one,
- 22:39Speaker 1: but the last one on my wedding morning, which I
- 22:41Speaker 1: find so funny. So of course I would be working
- 22:44Speaker 1: on my wedding morning. But it was, Yeah, it was.
- 22:46Speaker 1: It was truly a really funny moment, and yeah, so
- 22:51Speaker 1: that happened, and then we got some photos taken with
- 22:55Speaker 1: our little outfits and all that. I feel like, I
- 22:57Speaker 1: wish that was a little bit more planned. I think
- 22:59Speaker 1: that part was kind of chaotic that I was kind
- 23:01Speaker 1: disapointedbut because I feel I didn't get enough photos of the
- 23:03Speaker 1: morning of. But other than that, like everything else for
- 23:06Speaker 1: photo wise, I'm not disappointed about. But yeah, so we
- 23:09Speaker 1: did that, and then I put my wedding dress on,
- 23:14Speaker 1: which I am so happy to see how much you
- 23:17Speaker 1: guys loved my dress because obviously I'm obsessed with my
- 23:20Speaker 1: wedding dress and still am obsessed with it, and seeing
- 23:24Speaker 1: you guys like freak out over the dress just made
- 23:26Speaker 1: me so happy because I don't know, I just loved
- 23:28Speaker 1: how much you guys loved it. So yeah, my wedding
- 23:31Speaker 1: dress was truly my dream dress. I was obsessed with
- 23:33Speaker 1: it got at Kleinfeld. If you guys want to see photos,
- 23:36Speaker 1: I have my Instagram linked down in the description. But
- 23:38Speaker 1: truly the most magical day ever and I felt like
- 23:43Speaker 1: the most beautiful person ever, like I truly felt like
- 23:45Speaker 1: a princess. I'm very happy I did my hair down.
- 23:47Speaker 1: I'm very happy that I did the makeup that I did, Like,
- 23:50Speaker 1: I do not regret anything about what I wore, my
- 23:53Speaker 1: hair anything, like everything was truly perfect in my opinion.
- 23:57Speaker 1: And then Zach and I did our first looks in private.
- 24:00Speaker 1: What you guys know, and if you were a bride
- 24:03Speaker 1: and you were unsure about doing it, please listen to me.
- 24:06Speaker 1: That was the best part of the entire wedding because
- 24:10Speaker 1: hear me out, you do not see your partner for
- 24:12Speaker 1: the entire wedding day. We had our weddings start at
- 24:14Speaker 1: five thirty, So at this point it's three o'clock. I
- 24:17Speaker 1: still haven't seen Zach. He's already, he's in his tucks.
- 24:20Speaker 1: All I can think about is seeing him. And Zach
- 24:23Speaker 1: and I are very private people. I think we, you know,
- 24:26Speaker 1: like to be public and around our friends, but we're
- 24:28Speaker 1: also like very intimate and enjoy like him and I time.
- 24:32Speaker 1: And I personally didn't care about his reaction when I
- 24:36Speaker 1: walked down the aisle because I feel like standing there
- 24:39Speaker 1: in front of people in that moment, like I would
- 24:42Speaker 1: just like, I don't know, I just feel like I
- 24:44Speaker 1: wanted that moment of just him and I. So when
- 24:47Speaker 1: we did our first looks just him and I, and
- 24:48Speaker 1: his reaction to seeing me was literally the most perfect reaction.
- 24:53Speaker 1: Like he got so emotional. I got so emotional, and
- 24:56Speaker 1: like just seeing him look so handsome in his t
- 25:00Speaker 1: I don't know, like the emotions, the excitement, everything, just
- 25:04Speaker 1: like being able to like also just talk to him,
- 25:06Speaker 1: like during that moment, just being like, oh my god,
- 25:08Speaker 1: look look how nice this looks. Are you excited? Like
- 25:11Speaker 1: how are you feeling? Like? We got to talk of it,
- 25:13Speaker 1: which was nice, and then we did our private vows,
- 25:16Speaker 1: which obviously were amazing, and I don't know, I just
- 25:19Speaker 1: feel like it felt more intimate. It felt so like
- 25:23Speaker 1: well connected, like just doing it him and I versut
- 25:25Speaker 1: doing it in the public setting. And I don't regret
- 25:28Speaker 1: any of it. It was the best decision. And then
- 25:31Speaker 1: we got to like hang out the entire time after
- 25:33Speaker 1: the fact. We got a bunch of photos done that way,
- 25:36Speaker 1: we had to get that out of the way, and
- 25:38Speaker 1: then we didn't have to worry about it basically for
- 25:39Speaker 1: the rest of the wedding and we can just enjoy
- 25:41Speaker 1: the wedding. So that was also the best decision. Is
- 25:44Speaker 1: we did like an hour of photos before the ceremony,
- 25:47Speaker 1: and then the ceremony happened, which went great. I also
- 25:52Speaker 1: did my first look with my dad, which I forgot
- 25:53Speaker 1: to mention, which was also very touching. We did that
- 25:55Speaker 1: before I did the first look with Zach, and then
- 25:58Speaker 1: we I think we got a few photos taken with
- 26:01Speaker 1: like the bridesmaids and groomsmen right after the ceremony, and
- 26:04Speaker 1: that was just the hour of like the cocktail hour,
- 26:07Speaker 1: which I didn't really care if I was a part
- 26:08Speaker 1: of that or not, just because it was more so
- 26:11Speaker 1: everyone was just you know, having drinks, mingling, getting food
- 26:14Speaker 1: all that. So Zach and I think were only part
- 26:17Speaker 1: of that for like maybe twenty minutes. But again I
- 26:19Speaker 1: was able to see everyone. I got to hug everybody,
- 26:21Speaker 1: got to take photos with some of my friends, my family,
- 26:24Speaker 1: and then it was our reception, so our dinner, which
- 26:28Speaker 1: turned out amazing. It was so beautifully set up, and
- 26:33Speaker 1: we did speeches the entire time throughout that two hours,
- 26:37Speaker 1: and my gosh, the speeches were so good. We made
- 26:40Speaker 1: sure that the speeches were not too long but also
- 26:43Speaker 1: not too short, and it was the perfect amount of time.
- 26:46Speaker 1: We gave everybody like five minutes each to do their speech.
- 26:50Speaker 1: My sister's speech, my goodness, she had the best speech
- 26:53Speaker 1: by far. She made me ball like a fricking baby.
- 26:57Speaker 1: I have never seen my sister like speak so highly
- 27:00Speaker 1: about me. I think it's just because you know, we're
- 27:02Speaker 1: very close and we know that we're best friends, but
- 27:05Speaker 1: like having her talk about me so like highly, I
- 27:07Speaker 1: don't know, it was just like a very special moment
- 27:10Speaker 1: and oh my god, I'm getting emotional, your frig And
- 27:14Speaker 1: then having my parents there and all that, like, it
- 27:17Speaker 1: just felt so intimate and nice. Fifty five people at
- 27:20Speaker 1: our wedding was the perfect amount. I felt like I
- 27:23Speaker 1: was so connected with everybody. I was able to say
- 27:26Speaker 1: hi to everybody, dance with everybody, like I had a
- 27:29Speaker 1: conversation with every single person there. It didn't feel too
- 27:32Speaker 1: big at all. And also doing the whole Imperial table,
- 27:35Speaker 1: it just felt like I was having a dinner with everybody.
- 27:38Speaker 1: And yeah, I truly cannot say enough amazing things about
- 27:42Speaker 1: our wedding day, Like the weather was perfect. You know,
- 27:46Speaker 1: people always talk about like what we were wedding regrets,
- 27:48Speaker 1: and I honestly don't have. I don't really think any
- 27:51Speaker 1: to be honest, Like everything went so amazing, I think like, well,
- 27:55Speaker 1: I guess not like there's wedding regrets. But I had
- 27:58Speaker 1: two things that I kind of cared about. I didn't
- 28:00Speaker 1: really care about in the moment, but now I'm like, oh,
- 28:02Speaker 1: I wish I said something. But my flowers, my bouquet,
- 28:07Speaker 1: I did not. I wanted an all white like color
- 28:10Speaker 1: palette for my flowers, and they gave me like white
- 28:12Speaker 1: and green, which again not a big thing, but that
- 28:14Speaker 1: was one thing that I wanted that I didn't get.
- 28:17Speaker 1: And then for our wedding cake, they put like this
- 28:19Speaker 1: big green hydrange thing coming down from it, which is
- 28:23Speaker 1: not what I wanted. I wanted all white flowers. So
- 28:27Speaker 1: just like little things like that that you know didn't
- 28:29Speaker 1: go my way. But do I regret any of it, No,
- 28:33Speaker 1: because at the end of the day, like the wedding
- 28:35Speaker 1: still went amazing. At the end of the day, on
- 28:38Speaker 1: your wedding day, the feeling of that day, the entire
- 28:41Speaker 1: time you were on a wedding high, like nothing matters.
- 28:44Speaker 1: If the weather is shit, doesn't matter. If you know
- 28:47Speaker 1: something like I said, like my bouquet, it didn't matter.
- 28:50Speaker 1: To me like that day and in that moment, it
- 28:52Speaker 1: did not matter to me because I felt like everything
- 28:55Speaker 1: was perfect in my eyes, And to be honest, everything
- 28:58Speaker 1: was like if there was only two things that I
- 28:59Speaker 1: can look back, which were those two floral things, but
- 29:02Speaker 1: everything else was perfect. I can walk away knowing that,
- 29:05Speaker 1: in my opinion, like my wedding was everything that I
- 29:07Speaker 1: could have dreamed of. So I am beyond happy with
- 29:10Speaker 1: how everything turned out. The day was truly the most
- 29:13Speaker 1: magical day. I cannot say enough amazing things about it,
- 29:16Speaker 1: and I yeah, I'm just happy how everything turned out.
- 29:19Speaker 1: And if you guys haven't seen any photos, go check
- 29:22Speaker 1: it out. It was truly the most magical day. Well,
- 29:25Speaker 1: I did not think I was going to be talking
- 29:26Speaker 1: about the wedding for that long, but I got really
- 29:28Speaker 1: into depth there. But anyways, after that, we had our honeymoon,
- 29:32Speaker 1: and I do want to give a bit of behind
- 29:34Speaker 1: the scenes here because I haven't posted much about the
- 29:37Speaker 1: honeymoon yet. That's what I've been doing this week, is
- 29:39Speaker 1: just trying to catch up on content. But I was
- 29:44Speaker 1: extremely sick, like extremely sick. I woke up the day
- 29:48Speaker 1: after the wedding, like the wedding night of like the
- 29:52Speaker 1: after party. I told Zach, I'm like, oh, I'm not
- 29:53Speaker 1: feeling so hot, Like my throat kind of hurts. He's like, no, no,
- 29:56Speaker 1: We'll take you know, some colden sinus before he head
- 29:59Speaker 1: to bed. Whatever. I woke up the next morning, guys,
- 30:01Speaker 1: I had body aches, I had a fever, I was coughing.
- 30:04Speaker 1: I had no voice, which I knew I wasn't going
- 30:06Speaker 1: to have a voice because you know, from all the
- 30:07Speaker 1: singing and all that and the dancing, I just knew
- 30:09Speaker 1: that I wasn't going to be feeling one hundred percent.
- 30:14Speaker 1: Like I knew I wasn't going to have a voice,
- 30:16Speaker 1: but I didn't think I was going to be feeling
- 30:18Speaker 1: the way I did. Like I knew I wasn't gon
- 30:19Speaker 1: to feel a hundred percent, but I felt frickin' sick man,
- 30:22Speaker 1: Like I definitely had something, that's for sure. And that
- 30:27Speaker 1: day we purposely did a bunch of travels because we
- 30:30Speaker 1: were heading to Spain for our honeymoon, and it was
- 30:34Speaker 1: it was a really bad day. I'm not gonna lie.
- 30:37Speaker 1: It was a rough day. It was like, I want
- 30:41Speaker 1: to say, fourteen hours of travel. Our flight got delayed.
- 30:44Speaker 1: If you saw me at the room airport dying. It's
- 30:47Speaker 1: because I was extremely sick. And yeah, it was not
- 30:50Speaker 1: the best travel day, but we were staying in Ibiza,
- 30:54Speaker 1: but we were staying at this wellness resort. And let
- 30:57Speaker 1: me tell you, that wellness resort was so needed. We
- 31:00Speaker 1: literally sat by the pool and did nothing for three
- 31:03Speaker 1: days straight, had green juices, all the healthy foods you
- 31:07Speaker 1: can think of, like everything was all health and wellness.
- 31:10Speaker 1: And I looked at Zach and I'm like, I needed
- 31:13Speaker 1: this so badly. It's like I purposely booked this as
- 31:16Speaker 1: the first portion of the honeymoon knowing that I was
- 31:19Speaker 1: going to need this. I don't know it truly was
- 31:21Speaker 1: the best way to start the honeymoon was just having
- 31:24Speaker 1: that wellness hotel. Obviously, it kind of sucked to start
- 31:27Speaker 1: the honeymoon sick for the first three days, but it
- 31:31Speaker 1: was nice that we had that resort. Like we didn't
- 31:33Speaker 1: really plan on leaving. We knew we were going to
- 31:35Speaker 1: be exhausted from the wedding week and just needed to
- 31:37Speaker 1: like relax and recharge. So that first portion of the
- 31:41Speaker 1: honeymoon was extremely needed. The first three days we just
- 31:45Speaker 1: chilled by the pool, did nothing, and then from Ibiza
- 31:48Speaker 1: we went to Majorca, and Majorca was beautiful. However, the
- 31:53Speaker 1: first two days we get there, they're like, yeah, there's
- 31:56Speaker 1: an extreme weather warning, like no one's really allowed to
- 31:58Speaker 1: go outside. We're like what. So there was a small tornado,
- 32:04Speaker 1: which was kind of scary because I do not like
- 32:07Speaker 1: anything when it comes to a severe weather warning or
- 32:10Speaker 1: anything like that. So it was only the first two days,
- 32:12Speaker 1: which wasn't that bad. And then the last two days
- 32:15Speaker 1: of us in Majorca because we were there for four nights,
- 32:18Speaker 1: five days, but like the first day is usually just
- 32:20Speaker 1: a travel day, right, So the last two days we
- 32:23Speaker 1: got to do stuff in the Mallorca area. But Mallorca
- 32:27Speaker 1: is massive, so everything that I wanted to do we
- 32:30Speaker 1: unfortunately didn't get done. I think we only got maybe
- 32:33Speaker 1: half the things done. So the other half the things
- 32:36Speaker 1: I didn't get to do, I'm like, we need to
- 32:38Speaker 1: come back and we need to do Maorca again, because
- 32:40Speaker 1: it's so big that you need to be there for
- 32:42Speaker 1: at least a week. Like we could have done everything
- 32:45Speaker 1: if we stayed there for seven days. But yeah, so
- 32:48Speaker 1: just a tip if you plan on spending time in Majorca.
- 32:51Speaker 1: It is very big, so try and stay there as
- 32:53Speaker 1: long as you can. I thought five days was going
- 32:55Speaker 1: to be enough, but obviously it wasn't. But yeah, no,
- 32:58Speaker 1: it was still great. Even with the bad weather. We
- 33:02Speaker 1: ended up like making the most of it by you know,
- 33:04Speaker 1: using the spas services at the hotel, and yeah, we
- 33:06Speaker 1: found ways to make it very relaxing and enjoyable, so
- 33:10Speaker 1: it didn't you know, hurt the honeymoon that bad, I guess.
- 33:15Speaker 1: And then the last part was Florence and Tuscany. There
- 33:18Speaker 1: was so many of you guys that ran into me
- 33:20Speaker 1: and Florence and Tuscany. I could not believe it. I
- 33:23Speaker 1: think I ran into like ten followers, which is so
- 33:25Speaker 1: crazy to me. And then I also ran into some
- 33:28Speaker 1: girls in Rome when I was there in the beginning.
- 33:30Speaker 1: But I'm like, I'm literally in a completely different part
- 33:32Speaker 1: of the world, and so many people from Canada specifically
- 33:35Speaker 1: are seeing me in Italy. It was just crazy. Sorry
- 33:38Speaker 1: I'm talking so much on my voice is cracking, but anyways,
- 33:41Speaker 1: I was just so shocked to see how many of
- 33:44Speaker 1: you recognized me, and you guys were so sweet. And
- 33:46Speaker 1: then some of you guys also messaged me on Instagram saying,
- 33:49Speaker 1: oh my god, I think I just saw you at
- 33:51Speaker 1: you know, the Florence train station, Like you looked so beautiful.
- 33:55Speaker 1: I was too shy to say hi or whatever. Just know,
- 33:57Speaker 1: if you ever see me in person, please come say
- 34:00Speaker 1: hi to me. I am the exact same person on
- 34:02Speaker 1: here in person, like I'm the same, So if you
- 34:05Speaker 1: ever see me, please come say hi, because it literally
- 34:07Speaker 1: makes my day. So it was honestly, every time I
- 34:09Speaker 1: ran into one of you guys, you literally made my heart.
- 34:12Speaker 1: Just oh, I was so happy. So anyways, that was great.
- 34:16Speaker 1: But I think Florence and Tuscany were my favorite part
- 34:18Speaker 1: of the last week of the honeymoon, Like truly, it
- 34:22Speaker 1: was amazing. I just I can't even describe it. Tuscany
- 34:27Speaker 1: was insane. Wow, just being in like the countryside of Italy.
- 34:31Speaker 1: I will be going back, Like I want to go
- 34:33Speaker 1: back next summer. Like it was amazing. The resorts we
- 34:36Speaker 1: stayed at were phenomenal. The food was amazing, the vibes
- 34:40Speaker 1: were amazing. The wineries were amazing. Like one day we
- 34:43Speaker 1: booked like this private picnic, so we had like this
- 34:45Speaker 1: picnic lunch at the winery, so we had basically the
- 34:48Speaker 1: entire winery to ourself. I don't know, it was just
- 34:51Speaker 1: a really cool experience and it was just like the
- 34:54Speaker 1: best way to end the honeymoons. So yeah, so that
- 34:57Speaker 1: was kind of a rundown of everything that happened from
- 35:00Speaker 1: the wedding to the honeymoon and now I'm officially home.
- 35:05Speaker 1: It has been weird coming back to not having to
- 35:07Speaker 1: plan anything, that's for sure. I have been feeling a
- 35:10Speaker 1: bit of the wedding blues, been a little bit sad
- 35:13Speaker 1: and all that. I think more so just like coming
- 35:16Speaker 1: home and not having anything to plan feels weird, but
- 35:19Speaker 1: also just I don't know, missing how much fun we
- 35:23Speaker 1: had and just how much you know, social interaction we
- 35:26Speaker 1: had with all our friends and family, and how close
- 35:28Speaker 1: we all felt just traveling together for an entire week,
- 35:31Speaker 1: and I don't know, it was truly the best three
- 35:34Speaker 1: weeks of my entire life. I would do it again.
- 35:37Speaker 1: I would spend the money again, like everything was the
- 35:41Speaker 1: most amazing thing ever. But I will say it does
- 35:45Speaker 1: feel good to be home, because you guys know me,
- 35:47Speaker 1: I'm a homebody. I like to be in routine. We
- 35:49Speaker 1: missed Freddy so much. If you guys don't know who
- 35:52Speaker 1: Freddy is, that is my dog. Being reconnected with him
- 35:55Speaker 1: Oh my god, just reuniting with my little fur baby.
- 35:58Speaker 1: It was the best. He was literally crying at the
- 36:00Speaker 1: airport when we saw Zach and I. So that was
- 36:02Speaker 1: the best feeling. And let me tell you, guys are
- 36:05Speaker 1: probably like, killie, how did you get back into your routine?
- 36:08Speaker 1: Because guys, I'm gonna tell you this right now. I
- 36:10Speaker 1: did not work out once. I did not, yeah, really
- 36:14Speaker 1: do anything except walking for the entire three weeks. I've
- 36:17Speaker 1: never taken that much time off my routine, so I
- 36:20Speaker 1: was really stressed about coming back. And oh, actually that's
- 36:23Speaker 1: a lie. I did work out once an Ibisa, but
- 36:25Speaker 1: it was like a twenty minute form workout, So I lied.
- 36:28Speaker 1: I worked out once, but nothing in routine was done there,
- 36:32Speaker 1: like the food, the booze, everything, Like I truly was
- 36:35Speaker 1: just living my best life, which you should absolutely do
- 36:38Speaker 1: when you're on vacation. So I just jumped right back
- 36:41Speaker 1: into my healthy routine. And I think that's the best
- 36:43Speaker 1: way to get back into routine is book the workout classes,
- 36:47Speaker 1: get to the grocery store, pick up your favorite healthy staples,
- 36:51Speaker 1: just you know, create to do lists every day daily,
- 36:54Speaker 1: Like that's what I do, Like everything that I did
- 36:57Speaker 1: before the trip I just did right as soon as
- 37:00Speaker 1: I got back. So if there's one tip that I
- 37:02Speaker 1: can give to someone that's looking to get back into
- 37:04Speaker 1: routine after vacation, it's just jump right back into it.
- 37:07Speaker 1: I don't know what else to say, Like I truly
- 37:08Speaker 1: feel like that's what helps me out. And I am
- 37:12Speaker 1: officially been home now for almost a week. I've probably
- 37:16Speaker 1: already done at least five workout classes. I will say
- 37:18Speaker 1: the first two we're probably the hardest classes I've ever done.
- 37:21Speaker 1: I'm not even overexaggerating. I was dying, but you just
- 37:25Speaker 1: got to keep going. You just got to push through it.
- 37:27Speaker 1: You can't just stop after that one hard workout. You
- 37:30Speaker 1: got to keep going. You got to book the next
- 37:32Speaker 1: one and the next one. So I've done about five
- 37:34Speaker 1: workout classes now. I feel so good getting back into routine.
- 37:39Speaker 1: My fridge is full. I did my first Monday reset
- 37:41Speaker 1: this week, which was super nice. So I'm just getting
- 37:45Speaker 1: back into the swing of things and it feels really
- 37:47Speaker 1: really good to just get back into routine. And I'm
- 37:50Speaker 1: going to tell you this right now. The best feeling
- 37:53Speaker 1: of coming home was a seeing my dog obviously, a
- 37:56Speaker 1: being home, being in my bed all that, but three
- 38:00Speaker 1: was coming back knowing that it is September that Fall
- 38:05Speaker 1: is here. Guys. I am so excited for Fall. I
- 38:10Speaker 1: literally love fall so much. It is my favorite season.
- 38:13Speaker 1: If you've been following me for a while, you guys know,
- 38:15Speaker 1: like this is my season. It's soup season, it's pumpkin season,
- 38:20Speaker 1: it's cozy season, it's fall clothing. Like, I have so
- 38:24Speaker 1: much to talk about Fall with you guys, and I'm
- 38:26Speaker 1: gonna leave that for the next episode, but we're gonna
- 38:28Speaker 1: talk all things Fall, like what is everyone wearing this fall?
- 38:31Speaker 1: What is everyone doing this fall? Like Fall, bucket list, fall, everything,
- 38:35Speaker 1: Like I am so excited, Like I'm gonna tell you
- 38:37Speaker 1: us right now. When I landed in Montreal, because I
- 38:40Speaker 1: went from Ottawa or sorry, Rome to Montreal, Montreal to Ottawa,
- 38:44Speaker 1: I had a two hour layover in Montreal. The first thing,
- 38:48Speaker 1: the first thing that I did when I landed, You
- 38:49Speaker 1: guys are never gonna leave this. I went to Starbucks
- 38:51Speaker 1: and I ordered a pumpkin cream cold crew. That was
- 38:54Speaker 1: all I wanted was a pumpkin cream cold crew as
- 38:57Speaker 1: soon as I landed, and that immediately I'm like, all right,
- 38:59Speaker 1: Fall here, I'm ready. I am so ready to just
- 39:02Speaker 1: jump to fall right now. European summer is over. Let's
- 39:05Speaker 1: get into the fall mode. I do not care. I
- 39:08Speaker 1: know there's people that are like, killie, it's still summer, like,
- 39:11Speaker 1: let fall start at the end of September. Like no, no, no,
- 39:14Speaker 1: Fall starts now as soon as September first hits. I'm
- 39:16Speaker 1: in the fall mood. So yeah, I am officially home.
- 39:19Speaker 1: I'm officially getting back into routine. I'm getting back into
- 39:22Speaker 1: my work grind. I'm trying to get all this work
- 39:24Speaker 1: stuff done that I have to get done that you know,
- 39:27Speaker 1: from the wedding, I just have to finish off. I
- 39:30Speaker 1: am trying to get into the fall spirit. As I said,
- 39:33Speaker 1: I really want to go to home Sense this week,
- 39:35Speaker 1: get my host some fall decor items. I want to
- 39:38Speaker 1: pick up more pumpkins. I want to pick out some
- 39:41Speaker 1: fall apparel. So I'm going to be doing some fall
- 39:43Speaker 1: shopping this week. So in next week's episode, make sure

- 40:14Speaker 1: filmed two YouTube videos that I will be posting from
- 40:17Speaker 1: me being home so far. I do have a wedding
- 40:20Speaker 1: YouTube video going up, but I did end up hiring
- 40:23Speaker 1: a videographer for that, so I don't know when that
- 40:25Speaker 1: will be done. It might be before the end of
- 40:28Speaker 1: the year, it might be within the next few weeks.
- 40:30Speaker 1: I have no idea, so stay tuned for that. I
- 40:32Speaker 1: did not bring my vlog camera on the honeymoon. I'm
- 40:34Speaker 1: sorry to disappoint. I had to make the decision of
- 40:38Speaker 1: leaving that back because I had my laptop, my tripod,
- 40:42Speaker 1: I had other stuff that I had to make a priority.
- 40:44Speaker 1: So there will be some content coming, but no honeymoon
- 40:48Speaker 1: vlog unfortunately. But as I said, I do have honeymoon
- 40:50Speaker 1: content coming out on Instagram and TikTok this week, So
