- 0:00Peter Thiel thinks Elon Musk has just stopped the idea of this
- 0:07new civilization because the woke mind virus is going to
- 0:10follow him and his followers to the surface of Mars.
- 0:21We have a clip of Peter Thiel who is an interesting person.
- 0:23He's one of the Co founders of PayPal, has known Elon Musk for
- 0:27a very long time and he is part of Palantir.
- 0:32Now. Palantir makes software.
- 0:33It's like AI software and in their homepage AI powered
- 0:38automation for every decision. What they don't show on the
- 0:41homepage is that they have AI powered war weapons and they use
- 0:47AI to command the battlefield. But in this clip by Interesting
- 0:51Times MIT, Peter explained something about Elon that not a
- 0:56lot of people know about, only people close to him.
- 0:59And I'm going to paraphrase it, but then we going to listen to
- 1:02him in a second basically saying that Elon Musk is not as
- 1:08interested as it used to be to send people to Mars.
- 1:13And there's a reason for that. And that reason is AI.
- 1:17Elon back in 2024, I had the seasteading version with Elon
- 1:23where I said Trump doesn't win, I want to just leave the
- 1:25country. We've heard that from a lot of
- 1:28people. If somebody doesn't win the
- 1:30election, I'm going to leave. OK, So Peter Thiel just wanted
- 1:34to leave. But this is where it starts
- 1:35getting really interesting. And then Elon said, there's
- 1:39nowhere to go, There's nowhere to go.
- 1:41This is the only. And then you always think of the
- 1:43right arguments to make later. And it was about two hours after
- 1:46we had dinner and I was home that I thought of, wow, Elon,
- 1:50you don't believe in going to Mars anymore?
- 1:53OK. So this is interesting with Elon
- 1:56talk to Peter. During that conversation, Peter
- 1:58was like, I just don't want to be in America anymore if
- 2:01somebody else wins, if Trump doesn't win, I don't want to be
- 2:05on the soil anymore. I don't want to be part of this
- 2:08country. I want to move on and I want to
- 2:10do something else with my life someplace else.
- 2:14But Elon, smart dude said, but Peter, this is the best place to
- 2:17be to do what you want to do. Peter later on thought, hey,
- 2:22maybe that means that Elon doesn't want to leave Earth,
- 2:26doesn't want people to go to Mars, so let's listen in.
- 2:3120/24/2024 is the year where Elon stopped believing in Mars.
- 2:37Not as a as a silly science tech project, but.
- 2:42A silly science tech project He calls Starbase and Starship A
- 2:47silly science tech project. OK.
- 2:49Hey, Peter Tail. There's a political project.
- 2:51Mars was supposed to be a political project, was building
- 2:54an alternative. And in 2024, Elon came believe
- 2:58that if you went to Mars, you know the socialist U.S.
- 3:01government, the woke, it would follow you to Mars.
- 3:06There's a lot to unpack there. So everybody thought Elon Musk
- 3:09was building Starship to send humanity to Mars, right?
- 3:15So we could explore science. Peter Thiel said it's a silly
- 3:18science experiment, which is a horrible thing to say about this
- 3:21because one, it's not silly. It's not just a little science
- 3:24project that you do for a presentation in your grade
- 3:28school. This is building the world's
- 3:30most powerful rocket and also the light of humanity, as Elon
- 3:34says, to keep that from being extinguished if you make people
- 3:39a multi planetary species. So when Elon started Starship
- 3:45development 10 years ago or so, the idea was just to send
- 3:51something that's grown on Earth to the surface of Mars.
- 3:56Let it grow, let it bloom. It evolved into, hey, we can
- 3:59make this thing big enough that we can send people to Mars.
- 4:01We can send cargo, we can send hundreds of tons of cargo to
- 4:06Mars, where we could build a civilization on Mars.
- 4:11People could build habitats, people could build solar panels
- 4:17there. They could use that as a jump
- 4:19off spot to the next planet so we could explore more and go
- 4:23further into the solar system, Peter Thiel says.
- 4:28It wasn't about science, it was about politics.
- 4:33It was about creating a new society.
- 4:36Now, if you have to build a new society on another planet, you
- 4:42have to have followers. Elon Musk has millions of
- 4:46followers on X. He has millions of people that
- 4:50love him. He has millions of people that
- 4:52absolutely despise the guy because of all of his actions in
- 4:55the past and what he continues to do.
- 4:58So he's very divisive. People might not want to follow
- 5:01this guy. So what does Elon do?
- 5:04He's making the Boring Company, Neuralink.
- 5:07He has Tesla, which produces batteries and also electric
- 5:11vehicles, solar as well. And also Tesla makes robots.
- 5:15So he has the Rockets, he has the transportation when you get
- 5:20there, so you can build something to build the things
- 5:23when you get to Mars. And you also have mining on
- 5:28Mars. So to the Boring Company, you
- 5:31can mine underneath Mars, so you can send people under there so
- 5:34they don't get irradiated and die.
- 5:36So the habitats on the surface of Mars are going to have to be
- 5:39very, very strong. And also they cannot let
- 5:43radiation in. So just dig a hole.
- 5:45Instead of living above Mars, you can live underneath Mars.
- 5:49So that's Boring Company. And then we have the Tesla
- 5:52robots, we have Optimus. I think Elon Musk is building
- 5:57Optimus robots to build Mars because you're going to need to
- 6:02be able to terraform Mars over hundreds, thousands, 100,000
- 6:08years. Humans don't live that long,
- 6:11right? We all live around 70 to 100
- 6:13years somewhere around there. But these robots can last
- 6:16forever. And the reason why he's building
- 6:17solar is because he needs to charge the robots he needs,
- 6:21because you can't use a internal combustion engine on Mars.
- 6:26There's no fuel, so you have to have electric vehicles.
- 6:30And those electric vehicles need to be charged.
- 6:31So you make Solar Boring Company eventually will be all electric
- 6:36too. So when they first start boring
- 6:40holes in the surface of Mars, that's when we know that people
- 6:43will be going to Mars. But before the people go, the
- 6:46robots will go. And inside those robots brains,
- 6:51there will be an AI. Elon Musk said or Peter Thiel
- 6:56says that Elon doesn't want the woke mind virus as they say.
- 7:02Or just other ideas that aren't yours.
- 7:05I don't like when people villainize the way that other
- 7:08people think, you know, because people don't think like the way
- 7:12that Iman thinks. He thinks It's a woke mind
- 7:14virus. Or it's a really catchy thing to
- 7:16say, right? You can say, oh, this guy has a
- 7:18mind virus, there's some sort of demon or something, but who
- 7:24cares? Somebody thinks differently than
- 7:26you. What do you like?
- 7:29You're just a dummy. Come on, get over it, get over
- 7:32yourself, get over your ego and other way around to like
- 7:36somebody thinks differently from people who are woke, then they
- 7:40think that person's a demon or whatever.
- 7:43Also get over yourself, it's your ego.
- 7:46Peter Thiel thinks Elon Musk has just stopped the idea of this
- 7:53new civilization because the woke mind virus is going to
- 7:56follow him and his followers to the surface of Mars.
- 8:02So let's listen a little bit more.
- 8:03He explains it a little bit more here, but we have to keep in
- 8:06context what's going on here. Then this is what's going
- 8:09through Peter's head and Elon's head because Elon made this
- 8:12master plan, right? To make the master the master
- 8:16plan so people can start living on the surface of Mars.
- 8:20Or a population. Maybe not people.
- 8:24A population that Elon controls with AI can live on the surface
- 8:30of Mars. Optimist robots with XAI brains
- 8:34it. Was the Demis meeting with Elon
- 8:37that we miss? Deep mind, this is an AI.
- 8:42This was the rough. Conversation was Demis tells
- 8:44Elon. I'm working on the most
- 8:46important project in the world. I'm building a superhuman AI
- 8:50and. So they they're building AI that
- 8:55basically trying to make an AI better than humans.
- 8:59And Elon responds to demos. I'm working on the most
- 9:01important project in the world. I am a turning us into
- 9:04interplanetary species. And then Demos said my AI will
- 9:08be able to follow you to Mars. Oh, and there you go.
- 9:13So no matter where you go in the solar system, people will have
- 9:19different ideas than you. The lesson here isn't that AI is
- 9:24evil, or Elon is evil, or Peter Thiel is evil.
- 9:28The lesson here is there's always going to be ideas that
- 9:32are different than yours, and you can't escape them by going
- 9:34to Mars, Elon. You can't escape them by
- 9:36building a master civilization on the surface of Mars.
- 9:41The tunnels in Mars, of course, could be used to store the
- 9:45optimist robots, and you're building this master
- 9:48civilization of robots on the surface of Mars that you're
- 9:52shipping them there, the optimist robots.
- 9:54And I know this is all speculation because it hasn't
- 9:56been like reported by Elon. He hasn't said anything about it
- 10:00on any platform. But if you think a little bit
- 10:04harder, you can send two to maybe 6 people on a Starship at
- 10:11a time, and those people will just kind of hang out.
- 10:15They'll do science experiments, they'll journey out a little
- 10:18bit. But the radiation is real, a
- 10:21real trouble. That's a real problem that's
- 10:23going to kill people on Mars. Why wouldn't you send hundreds
- 10:27or a million robots to Mars? Then you have another
- 10:33civilization that isn't humanity and you control them with you
- 10:38program them to do whatever you want.
- 10:40You give them ideas through AI. So if he can make a superhuman
- 10:45AI, and that's what he's planning to do, he wants to make
- 10:48XAI smarter than humans, put those brains, shrink that down,
- 10:55or have a mother ship that has data warehouses in the Mars
- 11:00orbit. Then of course, you beam that
- 11:03down, do software upgrades, firmware upgrades to those
- 11:07robots, and then you can make them do whatever you want.
- 11:09You can see with Grok, too. Grok is starting to say some
- 11:14really horrible things sometimes think for themselves, do some
- 11:18things that we wouldn't want. If you could target that with
- 11:23just those robots. Hey, these robots are going to
- 11:26do these specific tasks and let's build them.
- 11:31Let's build them better every day.
- 11:33Let's keep upgrading them. And how do you do that?
- 11:37You just get people away from it.
- 11:39You don't send the people to Mars.
- 11:40You send the robots to Mars. People were going to fight you.
- 11:45Robots won't. And that's what Elon wants.
- 11:47He wants things that he can control so he can get his
- 11:50mission done, which is to build a civilization on another
- 11:53planet. Because he's not going to be
- 11:54able to do it here. People would fight him.
- 11:56Look what happened to the Tesla showrooms.
- 11:59People fought Elon just on an ideology, right?
- 12:02And if the ideology was that him and Trump are taking away, and
- 12:07it's also his actions too, they're not just not ideology,
- 12:10but the idea of Elon Musk is what a lot of people fought
- 12:15against. And if he were to not have that
- 12:21blowback from people and he could control every single being
- 12:25that's on Mars, I think that's what he's going for.
- 12:31I want to know what you think about this.
- 12:33Do you think Elon is going for complete control?
- 12:40He's a control freak. He said it before in interviews
- 12:44that he doesn't like people that are empathetic or think for
- 12:47other people or feel for the people.
- 12:50He just wants you to be able to do the job and that's it.
- 12:52If you are empathetic, he's not going to hire you or he'll fire
- 12:54you. That's it.
- 12:58Let me know what you think in the comments down below, if you
- 13:00think Elon Musk is right here or if you think this is some sci-fi
- 13:05fantasy that he's trying to build out because he read too
- 13:09many science fiction books as a kid.
- 13:12But he's an entrepreneur, so he has the money now to do it.
- 13:16All right, take care everybody. I'll see you tomorrow.
