- 0:22Speaker 1: It is time to leave your worries outside and join
- 0:27Speaker 1: us for fun and laughter inside the Treehouse. On a
- 0:31Speaker 1: very very very extremely special Friday episode of the Treehouse
- 0:39Speaker 1: and Raj, I'm going to ask you this question, and
- 0:41Speaker 1: you only because Trey already should know the answer to
- 0:44Speaker 1: this question. Do you, Raj, know why today, Friday, July
- 0:50Speaker 1: twenty sixth, twenty twenty four is so special?
- 0:54Speaker 2: Do I know why? Oh? Yeah, because it's my buddy
- 0:58Speaker 2: Trey's birthday.
- 1:00Speaker 1: That is correct. Good job, you get a star.
- 1:04Speaker 2: He's turning fifty today. Yay.
- 1:08Speaker 1: He does the Big five zero for Trey.
- 1:13Speaker 3: Look, yay, you get my jazz hands up.
- 1:17Speaker 1: Yeah, that's how excited jazz hands and fingers.
- 1:23Speaker 2: If Sanford and Son met Jim J.
- 1:25Speaker 4: Bullock like yay, oh, I thought you meant physically and emotionally,
- 1:33Speaker 4: then those combined would make a Trey Trenholme.
- 1:37Speaker 2: He was this excited. Yay, it's fifty, man, you're fifty
- 1:44Speaker 2: years old.
- 1:45Speaker 5: Yeah, hey, half a century.
- 1:48Speaker 2: Come on, like Jesus lived at thirty three. You out
- 1:52Speaker 2: you beat him?
- 1:53Speaker 1: Well, we've all beat him.
- 1:54Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean the Hindus have forever. But but you guys,
- 2:02Speaker 2: I mean fifty that's not too shabby, buddy.
- 2:05Speaker 1: Yeah, it's honest to god, Trey. If you just make
- 2:10Speaker 1: it to sixty one, you will have outlived other people
- 2:12Speaker 1: that we knew. You've got eleven more years.
- 2:18Speaker 3: Buddy, set the bar high.
- 2:23Speaker 2: Just have a house with furniture.
- 2:25Speaker 1: So we do have We do have a lot to
- 2:29Speaker 1: get to today. And this is not one of those
- 2:32Speaker 1: hollow promises that you hear at the beginning of any show.
- 2:36Speaker 1: It's actually true inside the Treehouse today because not only
- 2:39Speaker 1: do we have the tree House Pool Party tomorrow at
- 2:43Speaker 1: the Foe in Dallas on Arturo Drive, which is the
- 2:47Speaker 1: live taping of the show from one to three. We'll
- 2:49Speaker 1: be hanging out there for a little bit afterwards as well.
- 2:52Speaker 1: Gates open at twelve, pay an entry fee you get in.
- 2:56Speaker 1: All that money goes into the Foe. They make their
- 2:58Speaker 1: private pool public for all of us to come find
- 3:02Speaker 1: some relief in the summer heat. So Pool Party three,
- 3:05Speaker 1: House Pull Party tomorrow Foe in Dallas one o'clock one
- 3:08Speaker 1: to three for a live taping of the Treehouse. Needed
- 3:11Speaker 1: to mention that now, as far as actual content in
- 3:14Speaker 1: today's show, in addition to Trey turning fifty, we're going
- 3:19Speaker 1: to jump into or maybe slide into, the major question
- 3:25Speaker 1: over the last probably close to two weeks now, which
- 3:28Speaker 1: is what the f Secret Service. Also, we need to
- 3:31Speaker 1: discuss Jerry the Giraffe, the Country Bear Jamboree maybe or
- 3:39Speaker 1: maybe not on fire Rag put your hand down. We'll
- 3:41Speaker 1: talk about that later. Raj found one of my favorite
- 3:45Speaker 1: bands of all time. And before we get to all that,
- 3:50Speaker 1: we must first do birthdays. And we cannot do birthdays
- 3:53Speaker 1: today without acknowledging once again our very own Trey Trendholmes
- 3:59Speaker 1: fiftieth birthday. Happy birthday, Trey, Thank you very much. If
- 4:05Speaker 1: there's I do know that if there's one sound effect
- 4:08Speaker 1: I could play for you that I feel like would
- 4:11Speaker 1: embody how you feel on your fiftieth birthday, I think
- 4:16Speaker 1: it might be this one.
- 4:21Speaker 2: I thought it was the Direal one. I'm not done.
- 4:27Speaker 1: That's option ay, that's option A. This would be another one. Yeah,
- 4:35Speaker 1: we'll call that the Whitney Houston.
- 4:36Speaker 2: Uh huh mm hmm.
- 4:41Speaker 1: Maybe uh if if you're if you're a really good
- 4:45Speaker 1: boy on your birthday, I'll leave that open to interpretation.
- 4:53Speaker 1: Or if or if you're a bad boy, that's the
- 5:00Speaker 1: one that's in case anyone is curious what to get
- 5:07Speaker 1: Trey for a last minute birthday present, just find.
- 5:11Speaker 2: Him a good old crazy what would you like? So
- 5:15Speaker 2: I've never given you a birth and he's never going
- 5:17Speaker 2: to give you one to begin with.
- 5:19Speaker 1: That's my thing. That's my thing. I don't give you.
- 5:21Speaker 5: A birthday face and and I'm the same way. I'm good.
- 5:24Speaker 1: I Trey and I have had this understanding for twenty years.
- 5:28Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm but I'm Indian and so very like I
- 5:32Speaker 2: I have to, I have to do this. But what
- 5:34Speaker 2: would you like for a gift.
- 5:36Speaker 5: I don't like?
- 5:38Speaker 2: Oh?
- 5:38Speaker 1: I think we already established that.
- 5:40Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I know Linda Blair uh and the crucifix.
- 5:46Speaker 2: I can't do it, but I I could go to
- 5:48Speaker 2: teach Max, Like, but what would you want for a gift?
- 5:55Speaker 2: If if you could have something I don't like, it's
- 6:01Speaker 2: it doesn't have to be about you, like it could
- 6:03Speaker 2: it be like a leash for the dog, or some
- 6:08Speaker 2: doggie bags or like treats, or it doesn't.
- 6:11Speaker 1: Matter what's fiftieth birthday? You're willing to get him poop
- 6:14Speaker 1: bags for Daisy.
- 6:16Speaker 2: I mean, I'm just saying it doesn't have to be
- 6:18Speaker 2: about him, because it's it's like you don't like to
- 6:21Speaker 2: you don't like to make your birthday about you. I'm
- 6:25Speaker 2: a comedian, so every birthday is about me. Albeit the
- 6:34Speaker 2: Addison and prov tomorrow and they playing the House of
- 6:37Speaker 2: Comedy the rest of the week. But like, what would
- 6:39Speaker 2: you want for a gift? Can we make the donations
- 6:42Speaker 2: like the listeners? Like can they do something for like
- 6:45Speaker 2: Pause in the City or the Listeners Foundation? Okay, yeah,
- 6:52Speaker 2: all right, but like, as uh, this be the first
- 6:56Speaker 2: time I'm doing this for you. Can I get you
- 6:58Speaker 2: a gift?
- 7:00Speaker 5: Yeah? Callaway golf balls?
- 7:04Speaker 2: Okay, I don't have that much money. Stop try home
- 7:06Speaker 2: stumping white.
- 7:08Speaker 1: They're golf balls. How expensive could they be?
- 7:11Speaker 2: Callaway golf balls? Do you know anything about golf.
- 7:16Speaker 5: Range and their lower end and higher end?
- 7:19Speaker 2: What is your lower end?
- 7:21Speaker 1: That is tricky though, That is tricky because if you
- 7:23Speaker 1: go and get trade golf balls and you get him
- 7:25Speaker 1: the low end golf balls, then he's going to read
- 7:28Speaker 1: into it thinking that's how you measure the relationship.
- 7:33Speaker 3: Low end of a case of twelve balls twenty five dollars.
- 7:40Speaker 5: Okay, I have a high end of forty five.
- 7:45Speaker 1: This is where you need to take inspiration from Chris
- 7:48Speaker 1: Rock in the classic film I'm going to Get You
- 7:51Speaker 1: suck as you stand in line at the golf store
- 7:55Speaker 1: and say how much for one ball?
- 7:58Speaker 2: How much for one rib? Uh huh?
- 8:01Speaker 1: So what you do is you say, you point to
- 8:03Speaker 1: the top shelf of the of all the golf balls.
- 8:06Speaker 1: You say, give me the best set of golf balls
- 8:09Speaker 1: you got, and then you find out how much they are,
- 8:11Speaker 1: and then you count the change in your hand, and
- 8:12Speaker 1: you say how much for one ball, and then make
- 8:15Speaker 1: sure you record all of it.
- 8:16Speaker 5: A sleep sleep A sleeve is like seven bucks?
- 8:19Speaker 2: What's what? What?
- 8:20Speaker 6: What?
- 8:20Speaker 2: What's your driver? What do you use call birthday? I
- 8:24Speaker 2: have I have a ping I have a ping zing
- 8:27Speaker 2: one that I've never used. Okay, can I can I
- 8:32Speaker 2: give that to you? Absolutely? All right? See nice Sam
- 8:38Speaker 2: has no idea what we're talking about.
- 8:39Speaker 1: I know what I know what golf stuff is. One
- 8:44Speaker 1: that's usually the preferred tool of Trey's extral friends when
- 8:48Speaker 1: they show up to attack his car. The noise that
- 8:53Speaker 1: makes when it whips through the air. What's that when.
- 8:57Speaker 5: They're attacking the car? They like keys attacking me?
- 9:00Speaker 2: Then yeah, you get Underwood wrote a song for him.
- 9:04Speaker 1: Yeah, so it turns out when when Elon chased Tiger
- 9:09Speaker 1: Woods down the street, she actually learned that from you
- 9:14Speaker 1: and one of your exes.
- 9:18Speaker 2: I didn't know Elon Muska has twelve kids.
- 9:22Speaker 1: Mm hmm.
- 9:23Speaker 2: Twelve children, mm hmm. Wow, I did not know that
- 9:27Speaker 2: until I was looking up something to get you for
- 9:30Speaker 2: your birthday. And I don't know what You're gonna get him?
- 9:33Speaker 1: One of Elon's kids.
- 9:35Speaker 2: You should take one of them?
- 9:36Speaker 5: Can I have their if I can have their trust?
- 9:38Speaker 2: Yeah? Hell yeah, no.
- 9:41Speaker 1: I just want some of those I'll take I'll take
- 9:43Speaker 1: one of them to.
- 9:44Speaker 2: Would you take one of them?
- 9:46Speaker 1: Well, not not take one of me? I'd want permission.
- 9:54Speaker 5: Rude.
- 9:56Speaker 1: Also a mega felony.
- 9:59Speaker 2: Birthday. Look what I got.
- 10:05Speaker 5: A man who has a global satellite system.
- 10:09Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, I.
- 10:11Speaker 2: Like that.
- 10:12Speaker 1: ROI show up and say I got you a musk
- 10:13Speaker 1: and the tray says, I just wanted the Jovon kind.

- 10:52Speaker 1: either a meth field attack squirrel or Gary Busey, choose wisely.
- 10:57Speaker 7: We'll both scare the hell out of me.
- 11:00Speaker 1: They should.
- 11:02Speaker 7: I've seen some recent pictures of Gary Busey, and goodness, gracious, man,
- 11:05Speaker 7: I don't know what he's done, but I'm like, this
- 11:09Speaker 7: is a prime example why I'm gonna quit drinking.
- 11:12Speaker 1: I mean, and wear a helmet while riding a motorcycle.
- 11:14Speaker 5: Yes, so, oh man, you.
- 11:18Speaker 7: Know those squirrels are Those squirrels are nasty, and especially
- 11:21Speaker 7: a meth field squirrel. You know, those are big rodents
- 11:26Speaker 7: and people just if they think they're fluffy and cute,
- 11:28Speaker 7: but people don't look at them like they're rats.
- 11:30Speaker 2: You know.
- 11:30Speaker 7: People look at a rat, they're like, oh, disgusting of
- 11:33Speaker 7: the squirrel like, oh, oh cute, They're like, no, they're
- 11:35Speaker 7: the same thing. One just has a big, fluffy tael. Yeah,
- 11:38Speaker 7: and I think that they could jump and maybe get
- 11:41Speaker 7: me in some places I don't want to get I'm
- 11:43Speaker 7: gonna take Gary. I'm gonna take Gary.
- 11:45Speaker 1: Busey on you if you have issues with your roof,
- 11:48Speaker 1: whether it's a meth field attack, squirrels making holes in

- 11:55Speaker 1: your roof tearing it up. Whatever the case is, Daniel

- 12:48Speaker 1: I am good to go. So before we get to
- 12:51Speaker 1: bashing on the Secret Service, before we discuss about the
- 12:54Speaker 1: country bear, Jimboree getting a little too hot under the collar,
- 12:58Speaker 1: Jerry the Giraffe, and a present that even though you
- 13:02Speaker 1: don't want one, tray that I have for you today.
- 13:04Speaker 1: But first we must do the birthdays. So let's see who,
- 13:11Speaker 1: Tray or whom with whom you share a birthday.
- 13:16Speaker 2: It is, thank you so much for saying no, I
- 13:18Speaker 2: know it is.
- 13:18Speaker 5: Yet there's only one.
- 13:19Speaker 1: I remember, what's the one birthday? What's the one famous
- 13:23Speaker 1: birthday that you share? Belt?
- 13:26Speaker 5: Mick Jagger.
- 13:30Speaker 1: Belt his brother that his dad used to beat him
- 13:32Speaker 1: with as a kid, Mick Jagger scroll that you know what?
- 13:37Speaker 2: That is? Correct?
- 13:38Speaker 1: Good job?
- 13:40Speaker 2: Uh?
- 13:40Speaker 1: Yeah, he Mick Jagger is eighty today, so you are
- 13:44Speaker 1: exactly thirty years younger than Mick Jagger.
- 13:48Speaker 3: Tray, that's that is It's that's just mind boggling. I mean,
- 13:54Speaker 3: he and my mother are the same age. He is
- 13:56Speaker 3: still doing concerts. She can't figure out an iPad.
- 14:01Speaker 1: Well, no, no, there's a big difference. Mick Jagger is
- 14:05Speaker 1: doing concert your mom is putting on shows.
- 14:09Speaker 5: That is true.
- 14:10Speaker 1: It just shows of sadness.
- 14:13Speaker 2: It's twenty million dollars a year versus an iPad. Yeah,
- 14:19Speaker 2: so I'm like no. I and he married with Bobby
- 14:23Speaker 2: Hall from Jerry Hall Jerry Hall her I think her
- 14:27Speaker 2: sister is Bobby the twins. They went to North Mesquite so.
- 14:33Speaker 1: Yeah, see you can. You can't get out of mesquite.
- 14:37Speaker 2: No, you can't. You can try, but we'll still get you.
- 14:44Speaker 1: It's like the mob, it'll suck you back. In other
- 14:48Speaker 1: birthdays that Trey shares birthday with. She is the lead
- 14:54Speaker 1: singer of the Pretty Reckless Taylor Momson. She is thirty today.
- 14:58Speaker 1: She was also Ginny Humphrey on Gossip Girl and of
- 15:00Speaker 1: course as Cindy lu Who in How the Grinch Stole Christmas.
- 15:06Speaker 1: So she's had an interesting bookend of career, starting out
- 15:09Speaker 1: as a cute little Cindy lu Who on Jim Carrey's
- 15:13Speaker 1: Grinch movie, then lead singer of a rock band. And
- 15:18Speaker 1: did you know that she and I have something in common?
- 15:22Speaker 1: The two of us have had altercations with bats this year.
- 15:26Speaker 2: Oh gotcha? Okay, I thought you didn't get anybody birthday presents.
- 15:30Speaker 1: So I don't know what her preferences on giving people
- 15:34Speaker 1: birthday gifts. But if she doesn't, then she's stealing everything
- 15:38Speaker 1: from me and I'd like for her to stop it.
- 15:39Speaker 1: But yeah, I don't know. If you saw. There's a
- 15:41Speaker 1: video of like a month or so ago of her
- 15:43Speaker 1: in the middle of a song at a concert and
- 15:45Speaker 1: a bat exact same kind of velvety, luscious whatever. I
- 15:51Speaker 1: forget what it was exactly called bat that we lived
- 15:54Speaker 1: with for about six months landed on her leg. But
- 15:57Speaker 1: hers bit her Oh really yep. She got a couple
- 16:02Speaker 1: of bites in the thigh. She had to go to
- 16:03Speaker 1: the hospital afterwards get a couple of shots. But I
- 16:07Speaker 1: was able to deflect my bat into the receptacle before.
- 16:12Speaker 2: You also moved homes. That was after I also moved
- 16:18Speaker 2: out of the same house.
- 16:21Speaker 1: I moved from one end of the island to the
- 16:23Speaker 1: other to get away from those bats. But I still
- 16:25Speaker 1: I went toe to toe with a bat. Okay, yeah,
- 16:30Speaker 1: other birthdays today that Tray shares We've also got crazy
- 16:34Speaker 1: ass Kate beckhams Sale. She Tay She Tray is also
- 16:38Speaker 1: fifty And I was going to say, if there's a
- 16:46Speaker 1: celebrity soulmate for our very own trade trend home, because
- 16:49Speaker 1: he absolutely loves a crazy woman, it would be Kate Beckhamsales.
- 16:53Speaker 5: Yes, it would.
- 16:55Speaker 2: She's great. Yeah, I I would show up to the
- 17:00Speaker 2: wedding with uh with multiple gifts for the both of you.
- 17:07Speaker 1: And would that be because one for Trey and then
- 17:09Speaker 1: like five or six for her personalities?
- 17:11Speaker 2: Yes, that's a good play. I like it. Just give
- 17:16Speaker 2: one to Trey and then six to her.
- 17:20Speaker 1: It really is amazing how many awesome people, uh, even
- 17:23Speaker 1: though we don't know them, just really awesome names that
- 17:26Speaker 1: Tray shares a birthday with. Jason Statham is fifty six,
- 17:29Speaker 1: jere Jeremy Piven is fifty eight, and actually I've got
- 17:34Speaker 1: these I've got these ages wrong. Sorry, Taylor Momson is
- 17:36Speaker 1: thirty one. I was looking at last year's Kate Beckhan say, oh, sorry, Trace,
- 17:40Speaker 1: she's fifty one. She's one year older than It's still
- 17:42Speaker 1: same birthday.
- 17:43Speaker 2: Jason already, kick.
- 17:47Speaker 1: Can do it too old. Jason Statham fifty seven, Jeremy
- 17:50Speaker 1: Piven fifty nine. Sandra Bullock is sixty.
- 17:55Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 17:56Speaker 1: Gary Sharon, former Van Halen frontman and Extreme He is
- 18:00Speaker 1: sixty three. Today, Kevin don't fall asleep around me Spacey
- 18:06Speaker 1: is sixty five. Dorothy Hamill, the figure skating star who
- 18:11Speaker 1: won gold in the seventy six Olympics, is sixty seven.
- 18:15Speaker 1: Roger Taylor from Queen is seventy five, Helen Miron is
- 18:19Speaker 1: seventy nine, and Mick Jagger today is his birthday, as
- 18:23Speaker 1: we mentioned, So there you go. Tray there's all the
- 18:25Speaker 1: famous people you share about, all right, not bad right,
- 18:28Speaker 1: good company.
- 18:29Speaker 2: That's really good company company.
- 18:31Speaker 1: Yeah, I can't even think of a good celebrity I
- 18:34Speaker 1: share a birthday with Roj, do you know on off
- 18:36Speaker 1: the top of your head. I'm not gonna look him up.
- 18:37Speaker 5: I'm just curious.
- 18:40Speaker 2: I think Gandhi is close to me. That's pretty good
- 18:44Speaker 2: as an Indian.
- 18:46Speaker 1: I don't think you get much better in that as
- 18:47Speaker 1: an Indian, right, I mean that's kind of the pinnacle.
- 18:50Speaker 2: No, but you don't have anybody that's close to you.
- 18:55Speaker 1: I prefer to look like on the day of Okay, yeah.
- 18:58Speaker 2: Yeah, let's check it out. I don't know the twenty
- 19:02Speaker 2: second of October is mine, So I don't know what
- 19:07Speaker 2: I think Gandhi's like the eleventh or fifteenth something like that.
- 19:11Speaker 2: It's it's in the same proximity, gotcha. Yeah.
- 19:15Speaker 1: Well, now that we know whom you share birthdays with, Trey,
- 19:20Speaker 1: now it's time for me to share with you at present.
- 19:24Speaker 1: And this is not just any present. This is a
- 19:25Speaker 1: present from my past that Raj unearthed recently on his
- 19:29Speaker 1: Instagram account. Now, I don't know if Raj remembers this
- 19:33Speaker 1: or not, because typically his memory is better than mine,
- 19:38Speaker 1: but I remember this extremely well. I believe it was
- 19:42Speaker 1: two thousand and eight, the final year, the final year
- 19:46Speaker 1: of our Beloved live one oh five three in Dallas
- 19:48Speaker 1: Fort Worth May She Rescues. And during that time, it
- 19:54Speaker 1: was the dani Elus Show and Raj was the co
- 19:56Speaker 1: host on Saturday nights, right, And I've feel like I
- 20:00Speaker 1: was at the forefront of finding really random stupid videos
- 20:04Speaker 1: in them, playing them on the radio, and then typically
- 20:06Speaker 1: three four days later, I'd send it to Russ and
- 20:08Speaker 1: then he got to play with it.
- 20:10Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 20:10Speaker 1: But what one of my personal favorites that Raj unearthed
- 20:14Speaker 1: and I'm not sure if he remembers it or not,
- 20:16Speaker 1: but he posted it on his Instagram the other day
- 20:18Speaker 1: is this little nugget from a band called Sunseed. Yes,
- 20:25Speaker 1: now I use the term band very loosely only because
- 20:30Speaker 1: I don't know if they're still together. I don't know
- 20:32Speaker 1: if they were an official band at the time of
- 20:34Speaker 1: this recording.
- 20:35Speaker 2: Uh huh, they are, and they're still together and they
- 20:37Speaker 2: still tour.
- 20:39Speaker 1: They they tour. Yeah, yes, Okay, well, now I know.
- 20:45Speaker 2: The daughter of sun Seed sent me a message on
- 20:49Speaker 2: Instagram and said I was offending her family.
- 20:53Speaker 1: Well, yeah, prepared to get another email. So, Trey, are
- 20:59Speaker 1: you ready for your present? I am all right. I
- 21:02Speaker 1: give you Happy Birthday Tray sun Seed with their smash hit.
- 21:07Speaker 9: Jesus is my friend, Jesus.
- 21:21Speaker 10: My friend Jesus, Jesus, friend Jesus.
- 21:32Speaker 11: He took me how to live my life as it
- 21:34Speaker 11: should be. He took me to turn my people. And
- 21:40Speaker 11: I can tell you that he's one you.
- 21:42Speaker 10: Will never leave your broad Jesus, Jesus is my friend, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus.
- 21:54Speaker 2: It's the next part is the best.
- 21:56Speaker 1: Yeah, I trust me. I've got it timed. Like the
- 21:59Speaker 1: part that really kicks in here is about a minute away.
- 22:02Speaker 1: But Trey, you were you were going to be treated
- 22:06Speaker 1: to two extreme three really because the song itself is
- 22:09Speaker 1: a gift. Yeah, but you were also going to be
- 22:12Speaker 1: hit with another gift, and that is one of the
- 22:15Speaker 1: all time great solos. Okay, then you'll get a third
- 22:19Speaker 1: gift and you'll know it when you hear it. Oh yeah, yeah,
- 22:24Speaker 1: I should probably mention that for those that are not
- 22:27Speaker 1: watching this and you're just listening to it on the podcast.
- 22:31Speaker 1: This was shot probably late seventies, very early eighties. It's
- 22:35Speaker 1: got the the look of the people that wish they
- 22:40Speaker 1: were the Osmonds, but they're clearly not.
- 22:43Speaker 2: Yes, it was actually again when when when the daughter
- 22:48Speaker 2: yelled at me on Instagram? It's nineteen eighty six, Oh
- 22:54Speaker 2: I know, and it's in Calgary.
- 22:56Speaker 5: So apparently Canadians are always a little bit behind.
- 23:00Speaker 2: So uh and she uh yelled at me for making
- 23:05Speaker 2: fun of her dad. Well, I mean no, no, let's
- 23:10Speaker 2: keep doing it because all she's gonna do is send
- 23:13Speaker 2: me work email.
- 23:15Speaker 1: Bring it on, just bring it on. So here you go, Trey,
- 23:20Speaker 1: here's more of your new favorite song, Jesus is My
- 23:22Speaker 1: Friend by Sunseeed by.
- 23:23Speaker 2: Sunseed God and still the music to play rock and
- 23:30Speaker 2: roll its name.
- 23:34Speaker 1: All right, Trey, are you ready for this?
- 23:37Speaker 2: Are you ready for the next part?
- 23:39Speaker 1: Because honestly, if you ever want to know how to
- 23:43Speaker 1: get a bass solo in a song, you've got to
- 23:47Speaker 1: be the lead singer.
- 23:47Speaker 2: But also, like, what denomination? Like, were you a non
- 23:51Speaker 2: denomination guy?
- 23:54Speaker 3: Yeah, I've kind of ran the gamut from episcopal to
- 23:59Speaker 3: bat it's growing up.
- 24:00Speaker 2: So oh wow, Okay, so you went from dancing and
- 24:02Speaker 2: not dancing something like that. Okay, well, then, uh, this
- 24:07Speaker 2: is my friend.
- 24:09Speaker 1: You're gonna groove baby.
- 24:10Speaker 5: All right, there we go.
- 24:12Speaker 1: Here's the best bass solo of all time.
- 24:16Speaker 2: Yeah, Jesus, Jesus, somebody's wife Jesus. So yeah.
- 24:24Speaker 1: I mean it's the mid eighties, so they've got, you know,
- 24:26Speaker 1: the butt cuts, the beards. It looks like the Oakridge
- 24:29Speaker 1: Boys were slumming it somewhere. I mean, it's, you know,
- 24:33Speaker 1: like all the photos from the eighties at Olin Mills
- 24:35Speaker 1: with the wood panels in the background and the moms
- 24:37Speaker 1: with the big Sally Jesse Rafael glasses, the dudes with
- 24:41Speaker 1: the feathery hair that looked like they were like beg wannabes.
- 24:45Speaker 1: That's that's what this band is.
- 24:48Speaker 2: Everybody that didn't make it into Alabama.
- 24:51Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, pretty much.
- 24:55Speaker 2: Jesus is Jesus. There she is, Look to her, look
- 25:00Speaker 2: at him.
- 25:02Speaker 9: Here we go.
- 25:03Speaker 2: Here we go, Tray, this is for your birthday.
- 25:16Speaker 1: Put some stank on that guitar. All right now, Trey.
- 25:26Speaker 1: This is where it's gonna get serious and it needs
- 25:28Speaker 1: you to prepare yourself. Okay, all right, all right, here
- 25:31Speaker 1: we go.
- 25:31Speaker 2: This is uh you're witnessing right now. Is that what
- 25:34Speaker 2: it's called witnessing?
- 25:36Speaker 1: Yes?
- 25:37Speaker 2: No, they're witnessing. He's not witnessing.
- 25:40Speaker 5: No witnessing. I just don't know what.
- 25:42Speaker 1: Okay, well you're you're, you're, you're about to witness it
- 25:46Speaker 1: about chuck?
- 25:49Speaker 5: All right, here we go.
- 25:51Speaker 1: What's that check?
- 25:52Speaker 2: I checked you. Jesus came in? Can you.
- 25:59Speaker 5: So you're an altar boy?
- 26:02Speaker 2: That's what I was asking?
- 26:03Speaker 1: What?
- 26:05Speaker 2: I don't know if you were this guy, this guy's hero.
- 26:12Speaker 1: Listen, listen carefully.
- 26:17Speaker 2: I try. I tried to.
- 26:20Speaker 11: Jesus came in and he touched it down inside, and
- 26:23Speaker 11: he is like what he always gets his many.
- 26:27Speaker 2: He can keep Jesus.
- 26:33Speaker 8: Jesus, is.
- 26:36Speaker 2: He a friend?
- 26:36Speaker 1: Because it sounds like he's chasing you through the woods.
- 26:41Speaker 2: Does he have a hockey mask on?
- 26:43Speaker 1: Like is he trying to bless you with a machete?
- 26:51Speaker 5: Definitely sounds like there are some therapy sessions with the doll.
- 26:56Speaker 2: Just tell me where Jesus touched it? Yeah, down inside.
- 27:01Speaker 2: I don't know how this works. Again, very Hindu, but
- 27:06Speaker 2: this like, uh, is it a Baptist or I don't
- 27:14Speaker 2: know what the denomination would be. It's Canadian, you said, yeah, well,
- 27:19Speaker 2: well Canadians not a It's not it's not a religion.
- 27:26Speaker 5: I might go Mormon Pentecostal something.
- 27:29Speaker 2: Pentecostal fundamental because they they do the tongues thing right sometimes. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 27:36Speaker 2: that's yeah they do. I just know on their my.
- 27:38Speaker 5: Space page they actually superseded.
- 27:41Speaker 2: Enter Pentecostals into an only fans. Yeah.
- 27:46Speaker 1: Yeah, it starts out as Jesus is my friend. But
- 27:49Speaker 1: then you start tongue in Jesus and things, you really go.
- 27:51Speaker 2: Up and Okay, as again as a Hindu, when you
- 27:55Speaker 2: say tongue in Jesus, I'm like, I now want to
- 27:59Speaker 2: see the movie.
- 28:03Speaker 1: Wait which movie? I feel like there's three or four
- 28:07Speaker 1: possibles in here.
- 28:09Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know where this like what denomination this
- 28:13Speaker 2: would be that The music was okay, But when I
- 28:17Speaker 2: found this, I thought to myself, I was like, man,
- 28:20Speaker 2: that's a poor choice of words.
- 28:24Speaker 1: Or is or was that very intentional?
- 28:27Speaker 2: I think it is so okay. That was my thing
- 28:30Speaker 2: that again I got yelled at. I was like, I
- 28:33Speaker 2: think this is on purpose.
- 28:35Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean I look at it this way. I'm
- 28:36Speaker 1: not an expert, but every time I've been touched deep
- 28:39Speaker 1: down inside it was on purpose.
- 28:51Speaker 11: You're listening to the Treehouse visits online that Treehouse on
- 28:56Speaker 11: air dot com.

- 29:19Speaker 1: of the things that someone has called you and asked
- 29:22Speaker 1: you to install that you're like, no way, We're not
- 29:24Speaker 1: doing that.
- 29:25Speaker 12: So, at the risk of being in trouble legally, I'll
- 29:29Speaker 12: tell you that there are vendors, not only myself, who
- 29:34Speaker 12: are adamantly against installing electric tankless water heaters because there's
- 29:40Speaker 12: a generalized.
- 29:42Speaker 6: Belief that they just don't perform the way that the
- 29:46Speaker 6: homeowner would expect a water heater to perform. And nine
- 29:49Speaker 6: times out of ten, people will back away from wanting
- 29:51Speaker 6: to install something if we say, hey, look professionally.
- 29:54Speaker 2: Not a great idea.
- 29:55Speaker 1: When you, as a contractor, exert your professional experience to
- 29:59Speaker 1: the customer and say hey, I don't recommend this because
- 30:03Speaker 1: of A B and C, and I also would not
- 30:05Speaker 1: use this in my own home that carries all the

- 30:49Speaker 1: dot Com. Again for any and all of those plumbing
- 30:51Speaker 1: once in needs called Jaqueline at Brooks Plumbing. Thank you
- 30:54Speaker 1: very much. I need to ask you, Trey, because I'm
- 30:58Speaker 1: certain that you followed this much more than I have.
- 31:01Speaker 1: Because we've been moving and we're in the middle of
- 31:03Speaker 1: trying to travel to get to Texas for the pool
- 31:06Speaker 1: party and everything. On the heels of the attempted assassination
- 31:11Speaker 1: of Donald Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania. I've followed it a
- 31:16Speaker 1: little bit on social media but I haven't watched a
- 31:18Speaker 1: whole lot of news on it, just because again I've
- 31:20Speaker 1: been super busy. So I want to ask if this
- 31:22Speaker 1: is accurate. I saw a quote from the head of
- 31:27Speaker 1: the Secret Service or now I guess it's former, But
- 31:31Speaker 1: very soon after the assassination attempt, I saw a printed
- 31:35Speaker 1: quote around social media where she said that part of
- 31:39Speaker 1: the reason why there was not coverage on the roof
- 31:43Speaker 1: where the sniper was, or that there was not security
- 31:46Speaker 1: on the roof of where that sniper was, is because
- 31:49Speaker 1: it was too slopey, and because of that, they secured
- 31:53Speaker 1: the inside of the building. Now, I'd also heard that
- 31:55Speaker 1: it was supposed to be a local swat team that
- 31:57Speaker 1: was doing that and not the Secret Service, So I
- 32:00Speaker 1: need to ask you, is the slopey thing accurate or
- 32:04Speaker 1: is that misinformation?
- 32:05Speaker 5: That is absolutely accurate.
- 32:07Speaker 3: Gave an interview to ABC News where she said for
- 32:11Speaker 3: safety concerns because of the slope of that roof, that
- 32:16Speaker 3: they secured it from the inside. The mind you, the
- 32:19Speaker 3: slope on that roof is the same slope that an
- 32:22Speaker 3: Ada approved handicap ramp.
- 32:26Speaker 1: So the federal government believes that a person in a
- 32:33Speaker 1: wheelchair could be out of control and stop on that roof. Yes,
- 32:40Speaker 1: but the head of the Secret service that felt that
- 32:42Speaker 1: that was too great of an incline to put a
- 32:46Speaker 1: counter sniper team.
- 32:47Speaker 5: That's that was her for of.
- 32:51Speaker 3: Honestly, I have never seen this is a woman that
- 32:55Speaker 3: you know, had been head of PEPSI and then yeah,
- 32:58Speaker 3: she was a Secret Service agent, went private sector, came back,
- 33:01Speaker 3: had a secret service.
- 33:03Speaker 5: She has leadership, you know, credentials.
- 33:07Speaker 1: I mean, like, are they wearing like shoes they should like,
- 33:12Speaker 1: are they wearing slippery shoes like data war and goonies
- 33:14Speaker 1: or something.
- 33:15Speaker 5: Here, here's the pitch.
- 33:18Speaker 3: The sniper that took out the assassin was on a
- 33:21Speaker 3: steeper pitch than that roof.
- 33:24Speaker 2: It just it was.
- 33:27Speaker 3: She simply made just mistake after mistake, like someone. I
- 33:32Speaker 3: don't know how she didn't have someone with pr going
- 33:35Speaker 3: don't say that so, I mean, and then her congressionals.
- 33:38Speaker 2: Back to the video that's going around on social media
- 33:42Speaker 2: where the guy is on his phone and is like,
- 33:44Speaker 2: can you see him climbing up the roof? And this
- 33:47Speaker 2: is just a random dude, And there's a bunch of
- 33:50Speaker 2: forty minutes. It's forty minutes of this guy climbing up
- 33:54Speaker 2: and then just kind of napping.
- 33:56Speaker 3: There are videos of people jumping up and down, waising
- 33:59Speaker 3: their hands going look over there, look over there, And
- 34:03Speaker 3: it was just one of the biggest cluster f's I
- 34:07Speaker 3: have ever seen. Is for I don't know what's going
- 34:10Speaker 3: on with Secret Service because you can just sit there.
- 34:12Speaker 3: Not only they don't secure it, but you know, Trump,
- 34:18Speaker 3: you know, ducks down and then they should have literally
- 34:21Speaker 3: picked him up and taken him into the armored you know, suburban.
- 34:25Speaker 5: They let him pop back up, like, oh hey, you
- 34:27Speaker 5: didn't get a first shot out here.
- 34:28Speaker 2: Hold on. It was like a Trump, let's let's get
- 34:32Speaker 2: back to that. He did yell, can I have my shoes?
- 34:35Speaker 2: That's fine, he's just off, That's what.
- 34:40Speaker 3: There are certain moments where the Secret Service overrides the president,
- 34:46Speaker 3: and that's one of them.
- 34:47Speaker 5: It's not a mean yes, literally I was.
- 34:52Speaker 1: I was, because that's how hard you get snatched.
- 34:57Speaker 2: No, here's my thing. I would already crap my pants.
- 35:00Speaker 2: I'm like, change my diaper, That's what I would have yelled,
- 35:04Speaker 2: Not change my shoes. I'm like, I'm crying now. And
- 35:08Speaker 2: then this guy, this.
- 35:10Speaker 3: Guy used to be a bodyguard for Snoop and he
- 35:14Speaker 3: was talking about you know, they were at some concert
- 35:16Speaker 3: there was gunfire. He picked Snoop up out of his shoes,
- 35:20Speaker 3: drug him to the suburban, and he said Snoop was
- 35:23Speaker 3: still pissed at him for like a year a year
- 35:24Speaker 3: because those were his laker you know whatever they were.
- 35:28Speaker 13: And uh, because Trump was wearing Lebron's whatever. But it
- 35:36Speaker 13: was just he's got his Jordan Ones on.
- 35:38Speaker 5: He's like, someone ground.
- 35:40Speaker 2: My air one.
- 35:41Speaker 1: Yeah, you can't get on Air Force one without your
- 35:45Speaker 1: air one. I completely agree with him.
- 35:50Speaker 2: He brings Nelly everywhere he goes.
- 35:55Speaker 1: Which Nelly's very grateful for.
- 36:04Speaker 5: You're through a Trump and Country grammar all those years
- 36:06Speaker 5: ago with day.
- 36:32Speaker 8: You're in the Treehouse. Visit us online at Treehouse on
- 36:37Speaker 8: Air dot com.

- 37:19Speaker 1: The Tree Hospital party tomorrow from one to three.
- 37:23Speaker 2: And they have cheap.
- 37:24Speaker 1: Drinks, so yeah, it really is some of the best,
- 37:27Speaker 1: some of the best drink deals in town.
- 37:31Speaker 2: Well, when the guy who runs a bar in uptown
- 37:35Speaker 2: tells you they are cheap drinks, it's cheap.
- 37:39Speaker 1: Well, Trey also works at Parliament. I mean that's a
- 37:41Speaker 1: high end craft cocktail lounge, so I mean like.
- 37:44Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, no, I mean Foe is legendarily cheat drinks.
- 37:49Speaker 2: Yes. I went shortly after Dan told me about it.
- 37:53Speaker 2: I didn't know it was a thing, and then another
- 37:56Speaker 2: bartender told me about how great it was, and I
- 37:58Speaker 2: went and stunt. I think I spent twenty four bucks
- 38:02Speaker 2: and I was there for the whole day.
- 38:03Speaker 1: I thought you were going to say you spent twenty
- 38:04Speaker 1: four dollars and you were there for twenty four hours.
- 38:07Speaker 2: I should have been. I shouldn't have been like the uber,
- 38:11Speaker 2: I think I offered him, like do you want to
- 38:13Speaker 2: drink too? Like I don't know. You can stay here.
- 38:16Speaker 2: We'll find another uber really, but it's it's amazing.
- 38:21Speaker 1: Yeah, looking forward, it's gonna be a great time and
- 38:24Speaker 1: hopefully there are no issues with getting there. It's obviously
- 38:29Speaker 1: we recorded this a little bit in advance of the
- 38:32Speaker 1: actual day.
- 38:34Speaker 5: Yeah, Dan, out of curiosity, where are you?
- 38:37Speaker 2: Yeah? I was going to ask the same thing, what
- 38:39Speaker 2: do you that's not your house.
- 38:41Speaker 5: It's it's got all the warmth of a jail cell
- 38:43Speaker 5: and it even looks like read back there.
- 38:46Speaker 1: All right, first of all.
- 38:48Speaker 2: Too soon, Okay, do you need a lawyer? Like? What
- 38:54Speaker 2: do we need to bail you out? Like? Put stuff
- 38:57Speaker 2: on your commissary? What has happened right now?
- 38:59Speaker 1: Yeah, it's like it's like if you get arrested and
- 39:01Speaker 1: instead of getting a phone call, I say, no, just
- 39:03Speaker 1: give me a microphone.
- 39:05Speaker 2: I just want to send you ramen. I don't know what.
- 39:08Speaker 1: Uh No, I'm actually uh. Since obviously we have to
- 39:11Speaker 1: record the show at least a day or two in advanced,
- 39:13Speaker 1: especially with travel coming from the Islands to Texas. So uh,
- 39:18Speaker 1: what we did was this morning we took the car
- 39:22Speaker 1: ferry from Saint John over to Saint Thomas. So this
- 39:25Speaker 1: is a luxurious Airbnb on Saint Thomas. And when I
- 39:29Speaker 1: say luxurious, I mean it's not at all like you
- 39:32Speaker 1: said dred Scott, all the warmth of a prison.
- 39:36Speaker 2: So yeah, can we kind of see around? No?
- 39:40Speaker 1: No, wow, you want to see that? You want to
- 39:43Speaker 1: see the ants on the ground?
- 39:45Speaker 2: Oh no really?
- 39:46Speaker 1: All right, hang on, I'll tell you. I'll see what
- 39:47Speaker 1: I can do because my my laptop here is plugged in.
- 39:50Speaker 1: So behind me is the luxurious living room.
- 39:54Speaker 2: Okay, yeah, there's that.
- 39:57Speaker 1: That's the the mini split ac which it works, which
- 39:59Speaker 1: is nice. Okay, Now I'm gonna I don't know if
- 40:03Speaker 1: I can show you the kitchen, which is not really
- 40:06Speaker 1: a kitchen. But let's if I can turn this a
- 40:07Speaker 1: little bit here again, I'm all plugged in here the window. Okay,
- 40:12Speaker 1: all right, that's can you see the kitchen there a
- 40:13Speaker 1: little bit.
- 40:14Speaker 2: That's the kitchen. Kitchenette, kitchenette, gotcha. Okay.
- 40:19Speaker 1: So there's a microwave that is not plugged in. There's
- 40:21Speaker 1: one sink. There's a power strip that has something plugged
- 40:26Speaker 1: into it. Underneath this the under inside the cabinets that
- 40:29Speaker 1: I don't know what it is. There's a refrigerator with
- 40:31Speaker 1: a freezer, so yay for that. But I'm going to
- 40:34Speaker 1: show you my favorite feature of this airbnb in case
- 40:38Speaker 1: you want to book this place and stay and stay
- 40:42Speaker 1: steps from uh Margueriteville, Saint Thomas. It's not the front entrance,
- 40:49Speaker 1: it's the backside. You get in the backside of the
- 40:51Speaker 1: resort here. But this is my favorite feature of this
- 40:54Speaker 1: particular airbnb. I refer to this particular feature as the
- 41:02Speaker 1: shining hallway.
- 41:04Speaker 2: Ohoh nice, Okay, I'd move out now. Yeah.
- 41:12Speaker 1: So if you see two little girls come out of
- 41:14Speaker 1: that bathroom door and you will not see me ever again.
- 41:21Speaker 2: Wow, okay, red room.
- 41:27Speaker 1: I don't think that would be the first time it
- 41:29Speaker 1: gets written on the mirror this all play?
- 41:36Speaker 2: Wow? Okay, so that's where you are for how long?
- 41:40Speaker 5: Just just the night?
- 41:41Speaker 2: Oh, just the night? Okay. Well that's all it takes.
- 41:44Speaker 1: Well, that's really all it takes to end up being
- 41:46Speaker 1: on the Sinister Hood podcast as an investigation of what happened?
- 41:54Speaker 2: Do you hear like knockings? Do you hear like little
- 41:58Speaker 2: girls laughing? Do you no? No?
- 42:03Speaker 1: That was Tara walking out the front door.
- 42:05Speaker 2: God damn it.
- 42:06Speaker 1: I think she booked someplace better.
- 42:14Speaker 2: This airbnb destroys your marriage.
- 42:19Speaker 1: She decides, you know what she's actually I can see her.
- 42:22Speaker 1: She's hopping the wall over into the backside of the
- 42:24Speaker 1: property of Margarite.
- 42:26Speaker 2: I would just love to see the goat man waving
- 42:30Speaker 2: he takes your wife.
- 42:34Speaker 5: I told you not to stay there.
- 42:40Speaker 2: Goddamn goat yoga.
- 42:44Speaker 1: That's how it starts, isn't it. Oh No, it's just
- 42:47Speaker 1: a class.
- 42:51Speaker 2: No, they're just they're just normal goat. Is she coming back?
- 42:59Speaker 1: I'll let you know, because wherever she's going right now,
- 43:04Speaker 1: I thought she would have been back inside already. So
- 43:06Speaker 1: I'm genuinely considered. I just saw a cab go by.
- 43:16Speaker 2: It just said airlines.
- 43:20Speaker 1: Yeah she uh, she kicked in the extra thousand dollars
- 43:23Speaker 1: for the private transfer from.
- 43:24Speaker 5: Spirit Even the airport's better than that.
- 43:32Speaker 2: She's like Fort Lauderdale is in all right. Oh man.
- 43:37Speaker 1: Well, we didn't get a chance to tell you about
- 43:39Speaker 1: Jerry the Giraffe or about whether or not we had
- 43:42Speaker 1: any involvement in the fire at the Country Bear Jamboree
- 43:44Speaker 1: at Disney World. So we'll get into that tomorrow at
- 43:48Speaker 1: the Treehouse Pool party at the Foe in Dallas from
- 43:50Speaker 1: one to three. We'll see you guys there ceca see
- 43:57Speaker 1: if you see my wife
