- 3:56Speaker 5: This is where the podcast starts right here. All righty,
- 4:01Speaker 5: welcome back to the Son of a Boy Dad podcast. Today,
- 4:03Speaker 5: it is.
- 4:06Speaker 1: February twelve, which is Canadian Valentine's Day. I'm pretty sure.
- 4:13Speaker 5: It's Canadian Valentine's Day.
- 4:15Speaker 1: Yeah, they celebrated two days early, really historically interesting.
- 4:19Speaker 5: Good for them. Happy Canadian Valentine's Day, Secretary's Day. It's
- 4:24Speaker 5: all of our Canadian lovers out there.
- 4:26Speaker 1: Always falls on a Tuesday, better easier for dinner reservations
- 4:30Speaker 1: though a Wednesday.
- 4:32Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 4:33Speaker 5: Oh, fuck dumb ass.
- 4:34Speaker 3: I think that. I mean, it's not a it's a
- 4:37Speaker 3: lukewarm take. But I think Valentine's Day is is one
- 4:41Speaker 3: we could do away with. Yeah, we could move it,
- 4:44Speaker 3: and I don't think anyone would be particularly remark.
- 4:47Speaker 1: Well fucking the corporations would Hallmark, Yeah, twenty hundred flowers
- 4:51Speaker 1: would true.
- 4:53Speaker 5: Yeah, flower companies would go out of business.
- 4:56Speaker 3: Do you mind if I ask, how do you go? Like?
- 5:00Speaker 3: What do you do? How do you marshal yourself for?
- 5:03Speaker 3: What are the expectations? Whatever? Just say what you like
- 5:06Speaker 3: to do? If you could, if you buy a gift
- 5:09Speaker 3: or one gifts dinner? Yeah nice?
- 5:11Speaker 5: What do you get a toy?
- 5:14Speaker 3: Are you going jewelry or like?
- 5:16Speaker 1: Uh like like nothing crazy, I don't think, but yeah, jewelry.
- 5:21Speaker 5: Roan's definitely dropping like fifty k per Valentine's Day.
- 5:24Speaker 1: But that's not the disc that you.
- 5:26Speaker 3: Think it is.
- 5:26Speaker 5: No, I don't think it is a diss.
- 5:28Speaker 1: You just fucking bodied me. No.
- 5:30Speaker 5: I wasn't saying it as a diss. I was saying
- 5:32Speaker 5: it as I was with you this week and I
- 5:34Speaker 5: saw how many times you bought flowers twice? It was
- 5:37Speaker 5: actually I think it was closer to ten for what.
- 5:41Speaker 1: Because I was away the week actually saw oh you
- 5:44Speaker 1: sent them home? I sent them home like thirty times,
- 5:47Speaker 1: no twice, But I mean it was I.
- 5:50Speaker 3: Just can't even imagine romance. It was so funny, just
- 5:54Speaker 3: so beyond it funny. It just was with twins, I know,
- 6:00Speaker 3: presumably and verging on the third trimester. Yeah, probably deeply uncomfortable. True.
- 6:05Speaker 3: And he is away for a week to go to
- 6:08Speaker 3: the super Bowl and he's sending flowers home to.
- 6:12Speaker 1: I'm just trying to gender cackling.
- 6:16Speaker 3: I'm just.
- 6:18Speaker 1: I said it at the airport as soon as I landed,
- 6:21Speaker 1: and I told it to Dana. Yea, his mind was blown.
- 6:24Speaker 5: Dana immediately he.
- 6:26Speaker 1: Smashed it right away. I was like, you should do it.
- 6:28Speaker 1: He's like, I'm only going for a couple of days.
- 6:30Speaker 3: I was like, even better, smart, smart, even better.
- 6:34Speaker 1: I'm just going. And he was like texting me two
- 6:37Speaker 1: days later the flowers were a massive hit. I was like, bro,
- 6:40Speaker 1: just pass it along as someone else.
- 6:42Speaker 3: You want to hear something really really goody. When I
- 6:46Speaker 3: was courting my wife, I would go on the road
- 6:49Speaker 3: for stand up and I would write her a postcard
- 6:51Speaker 3: from the cities that I was I'm talking Rochester, Cleveland, Buffalo.
- 6:59Speaker 3: It's not easy to find postcards, sales places.
- 7:02Speaker 5: And the start of like a seven eleven.
- 7:04Speaker 3: Yeah, there are places where you go, cities where you
- 7:06Speaker 3: go where you're like, I need a stamp. We haven't
- 7:09Speaker 3: sold one of those. Yeah, there's no outgoing male. You're
- 7:13Speaker 3: gonna want the next town over. Yeah, Bill Tony expresses
- 7:17Speaker 3: stop through these parts.
- 7:18Speaker 1: The Wells Fargo wagon stopped coming to Buffalo. Sad to say, sas,
- 7:22Speaker 1: what's your was your biggest Valentine's Day swing that you
- 7:25Speaker 1: ever made in your life? Maybe? In like grade school,
- 7:28Speaker 1: you get like the cards?
- 7:30Speaker 5: Yeah, do you like the lollipop with the card attached
- 7:33Speaker 5: to it?
- 7:33Speaker 1: That's fine? Did your mom will make a bunch for
- 7:36Speaker 1: like the girls in the class type thing?
- 7:37Speaker 5: Yeah, we'd have to bring them in and give everyone one,
- 7:39Speaker 5: everyone in the whole grade.
- 7:41Speaker 1: No, it's the class because if you do it yourself
- 7:44Speaker 1: for the girls, you don't even like girls.
- 7:46Speaker 5: Now you're a freak dude.
- 7:48Speaker 3: We we I went to a school that was sort
- 7:50Speaker 3: of like a communism breeding ground. Yeah, and it was
- 7:54Speaker 3: everybody plays, there's one hot start and Tyler, Okay, here
- 7:59Speaker 3: we go. He's probably just laughing at what you said,
- 8:01Speaker 3: but I'm going to take some credit for it. We
- 8:05Speaker 3: we had homerooms in my grade, right, so that was
- 8:08Speaker 3: sort of your your you know, home unit, and there
- 8:12Speaker 3: were I think four and if you were going to
- 8:15Speaker 3: bring in Valentine's cards, you had to bring in one
- 8:18Speaker 3: for everybody in your homeroom, but you could do individual
- 8:22Speaker 3: ones outside of your homeroom. So if you received one
- 8:28Speaker 3: from a girl or a guy outside of your homeroom,
- 8:33Speaker 3: you knew that that was there was something they'd gone
- 8:35Speaker 3: out of their way. Yeah, because that was not everybody
- 8:38Speaker 3: that was not the Communist manifesto.
- 8:41Speaker 1: Yeah, crushes were forbidden.
- 8:43Speaker 3: No, but see that was implied though if you got
- 8:45Speaker 3: one from an outside home room they came across party lines, then.
- 8:50Speaker 1: You can't fucking home room.
- 8:52Speaker 3: Well you could, but.
- 8:53Speaker 5: It would be it would be.
- 8:56Speaker 3: Veiled by the fact that everybody got one. You couldn't
- 8:58Speaker 3: necessarily the girl that you had a crush on who
- 9:01Speaker 3: was in your home room wouldn't necessarily know how special
- 9:03Speaker 3: she was to you, because everybody got one unless you
- 9:06Speaker 3: somehow got her something specter under.
- 9:08Speaker 1: The birth rates declining, they're just like stifling love.
- 9:11Speaker 3: I know.
- 9:12Speaker 5: Was this in middle school or high school.
- 9:13Speaker 3: No, that was probably second, first through fourth grade, something
- 9:18Speaker 3: like that, and it was always, man, I loved it.
- 9:22Speaker 3: I loved the colors. I'd get cards that had you know,
- 9:26Speaker 3: like Power Ranger cards or X Men cards, and they
- 9:31Speaker 3: would they you'd have to tear them out of a sheet,
- 9:34Speaker 3: maybe fold them somehow and put a little Now, there
- 9:36Speaker 3: was one girl who was really rich who got cards
- 9:39Speaker 3: for everybody in all the home rooms.
- 9:42Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, slut.
- 9:44Speaker 3: We knew, we knew. And then in fifth grade, Bob
- 9:47Speaker 3: Only was I was in her homeroom. I'm not going
- 9:49Speaker 3: to say her name because I don't know if she
- 9:51Speaker 3: still has the money, but probably Bob Only he was
- 9:54Speaker 3: our homeroom teacher. And at Christmas, I guess people got
- 9:58Speaker 3: gifts for Bob as a teacher, you know, yeah, apparently
- 10:03Speaker 3: this is the thing, by the way, you get your
- 10:04Speaker 3: teacher a gift. And I don't know what we got Bob.
- 10:08Speaker 3: Maybe you know, a new tool, well probably not even
- 10:11Speaker 3: Yeah that's expensive, it wasn't, I don't know. It was
- 10:13Speaker 3: a twenty to forty dollars gift.
- 10:16Speaker 5: A Starbucks gift card.
- 10:17Speaker 3: I bet it was a restaurant gift car. Yeah, to
- 10:20Speaker 3: Clayton's in Yarmouth. Yeah, they have good turkey wraps, and
- 10:24Speaker 3: we knew he liked that because he was on the
- 10:26Speaker 3: way to the school for him. But I'm not I
- 10:31Speaker 3: almost said her name again. I almost said her name again,
- 10:34Speaker 3: and I think I have said her name before. Well,
- 10:36Speaker 3: it's just well anyway, she got bob our homeroom teacher
- 10:41Speaker 3: an entire picnic set, a basket that was huge with
- 10:47Speaker 3: plates and silver weami cups. Yeah, and I mean it
- 10:51Speaker 3: was high end. Yeah, they were. They were held in
- 10:54Speaker 3: place by little leather straps.
- 10:56Speaker 1: That's entrapment by her.
- 10:57Speaker 5: That's definitely something of my dad's got my mom for
- 10:59Speaker 5: Valentine's like eight different times. Yeah, we definitely have like
- 11:02Speaker 5: nine picnic sets at home. Bob used any of them.
- 11:06Speaker 3: Bob had the class too, only he opened it briefly.
- 11:10Speaker 3: I'll never forget. He opened it briefly and was like, wow,
- 11:12Speaker 3: thank you so much, said the girl's name, and then
- 11:14Speaker 3: shut it because he didn't want to leave that open
- 11:16Speaker 3: for display. The rest of the kids feel bad for
- 11:19Speaker 3: how inadequate their gifts would would seem comparatively.
- 11:22Speaker 5: Yeah, but he's.
- 11:23Speaker 1: The teacher, Like, why does he have to have the
- 11:25Speaker 1: same gifts as the students.
- 11:26Speaker 3: I think again it was sort of that communist ethos
- 11:28Speaker 3: we had heared too.
- 11:29Speaker 1: He's just trying to keep their relationship private.
- 11:32Speaker 3: Probably, Oh, I don't know, I never saw any.
- 11:36Speaker 5: I think he was fucking the mom that could be
- 11:38Speaker 5: and he was like she was having the kid do
- 11:41Speaker 5: the dirty work.
- 11:42Speaker 1: And it was probably like there was like some like
- 11:44Speaker 1: worn underwear in there that he'd like close it up
- 11:47Speaker 1: really quick from them from the mom.
- 11:49Speaker 5: Pair of red panties.
- 11:50Speaker 3: The parents hadn't say the word. They had emigrated but
- 11:53Speaker 3: from a very wealthy country.
- 11:55Speaker 5: Yeah, Dubai.
- 11:56Speaker 3: So I don't know what not quite close. Do you
- 11:59Speaker 3: think people from the UAE are getting picnic baskets? Bob only, no, no,
- 12:06Speaker 3: come now, hush hush.
- 12:08Speaker 1: It's definitely a much gaudier dish. But by the way,
- 12:11Speaker 1: or present, but by the way, did you guys see
- 12:13Speaker 1: that Brionna Chicken Fry is like in Dubai right now
- 12:17Speaker 1: speaking at like the World Future Leaders Conference or something
- 12:20Speaker 1: like that.
- 12:21Speaker 5: I saw that she was in Dubai. I thought it
- 12:22Speaker 5: was a joke.
- 12:23Speaker 1: She's walking on stage in like a power suit and
- 12:25Speaker 1: a headset, like with her fingers tended, giving future advice.
- 12:29Speaker 5: She's probably getting paid like a billion dollars.
- 12:32Speaker 1: To do that.
- 12:33Speaker 3: Dude, that is my dream. I have had this.
- 12:43Speaker 5: I thought she was fully kidding. She posted a story
- 12:46Speaker 5: that was like heading to Dubai.
- 12:50Speaker 1: I mean, look at the pictures? Have you? Did you
- 12:52Speaker 1: look at the pictures? Was it shaping future government's conference?
- 12:59Speaker 1: And she's standing it looks like the un She has
- 13:02Speaker 1: someone behind her like translating what the Japanese embassy is talking.
- 13:06Speaker 3: Holy smokes. Good for her, man.
- 13:09Speaker 5: It's a pretty gig.
- 13:11Speaker 3: She is having a year.
- 13:14Speaker 5: Imagine your agent hitting you up and being like, we
- 13:15Speaker 5: got a gig for you. Dude, he's gonna pay.
- 13:23Speaker 3: My agent hit me up. I was like, all right,
- 13:26Speaker 3: I got something for you. It's a little I'm not
- 13:27Speaker 3: even making this A week ago. He was like, I
- 13:29Speaker 3: got something for you. It's a little off the beaten path. Uh,
- 13:32Speaker 3: it's a it's a one night crypto event and you're
- 13:37Speaker 3: gonna have to write material specific for crypto. But the
- 13:40Speaker 3: money is crazy. Yeah, it was like a thousand dollars
- 13:44Speaker 3: really for seven minutes? Was it?
- 13:46Speaker 5: This is a you did a I did one crypto
- 13:50Speaker 5: a while again?
- 13:50Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, made five grand for.
- 13:52Speaker 5: That was yeah, you got to pay a ton for.
- 13:55Speaker 1: Well maybe not, so it depends if they watch crypto.
- 13:58Speaker 5: It's true crypto's going down.
- 14:00Speaker 1: Yeah, well it depends on which one some of them
- 14:02Speaker 1: are going up. Did you get paid in the thousand
- 14:04Speaker 1: dollars of askalin or was it cash?
- 14:06Speaker 3: No, they paid me with a check. I did not
- 14:09Speaker 3: have the option to.
- 14:10Speaker 1: They definitely are liquid, I know, and we are technically billion.
- 14:17Speaker 3: The only stipulation for the one that I did a
- 14:19Speaker 3: couple of years ago was that they said, do not
- 14:22Speaker 3: mention the fact that crypto is down like for today, damn,
- 14:26Speaker 3: because everyone would be sad. And I was like, well
- 14:27Speaker 3: that that's quite literally going to be the thing to
- 14:32Speaker 3: make fun of.
- 14:32Speaker 5: You said it was only dudes, right, pretty much, But
- 14:35Speaker 5: they were only.
- 14:36Speaker 1: Make fun of our best qualities and how good they are.
- 14:39Speaker 3: I bet you everybody that was at that thing is
- 14:41Speaker 3: now worth crazy money.
- 14:43Speaker 5: Yeah, but like, there's definitely one dude who sold. They
- 14:46Speaker 5: probably saw your set and then just immediately sold everything.
- 14:51Speaker 3: Yeah. Wait, I need to finish this dream really quick.
- 14:56Speaker 3: I used to be obsessed with the country of Saudi Arabia.
- 14:59Speaker 5: I don't know why one's got through that phase. I
- 15:02Speaker 5: went through a Saudi Arabia phase.
- 15:03Speaker 3: Who hasn't I want you know that, to go to Mecca,
- 15:07Speaker 3: to go to to do the Haj, if you're not
- 15:10Speaker 3: even to be let into the city or near the
- 15:13Speaker 3: Grand Mosque or whatever, you need to convert to Islam
- 15:17Speaker 3: and then you can unconvert once you're done. So they
- 15:20Speaker 3: have they allow you to do that. I think interesting
- 15:23Speaker 3: an in Vegas, Yeah, and I would have been willing
- 15:26Speaker 3: to do that.
- 15:26Speaker 5: You convert for like the time that you're there, that's crazy.
- 15:30Speaker 1: The videos there are awesome. It's just going going up
- 15:33Speaker 1: to guys in like a salamonicum and like, where are
- 15:35Speaker 1: you from? Brother? It's just TikTokers who just document people
- 15:39Speaker 1: from like Turkey and from Sri Lanka, just people coming
- 15:42Speaker 1: from all over the world. Not many guys that look
- 15:45Speaker 1: like you though.
- 15:46Speaker 3: No, No, it's it's got all the trappings of burning
- 15:51Speaker 3: man without the infrastructure of the r VS.
- 15:55Speaker 1: But with the breathable right, equally breathable, yes is slightly Yeah,
- 16:01Speaker 1: So you're dreaming of Saudi well.
- 16:03Speaker 3: I was. I read a couple of books about Saudi
- 16:05Speaker 3: Arabia and the royal family there and sort of just
- 16:09Speaker 3: the top heavy wealth that everyone knows about. And I
- 16:12Speaker 3: had this dream that one of the princes, the guy
- 16:19Speaker 3: now who's the crown Prince, and I don't know if
- 16:21Speaker 3: he's succeeded to the throne, but I would just see
- 16:25Speaker 3: one of my videos on Instagram. You know, maybe he's
- 16:29Speaker 3: a big Game of Thrones fan, love the song and
- 16:32Speaker 3: would summon me to the palace to do a private
- 16:35Speaker 3: version of it for a million dollars and then like
- 16:41Speaker 3: like it so much that he's like stay, stay awhile
- 16:43Speaker 3: we want this every Thursday because that's when it airs Thrones.
- 16:48Speaker 3: They need four days to edit out the nudity. And
- 16:53Speaker 3: I just had that dream. I really had that. I
- 16:55Speaker 3: was like, Oh, it's going to take How do I
- 16:58Speaker 3: I wouldn't how do I target my material towards Riod?
- 17:03Speaker 5: Yeah, I don't think it's out of the picture.
- 17:05Speaker 1: Well, any Saudi princes that are fans of the show,

- 17:10Speaker 1: or that you have been watching.
- 17:12Speaker 5: It seems like everything you talk about on the podcast
- 17:14Speaker 5: you immediately are hit up the next day. Like, I
- 17:17Speaker 5: wouldn't be surprised if tomorrow you just get a DM
- 17:19Speaker 5: from Saudi Arabia as a whole like their country country.
- 17:23Speaker 3: Saudi Arabia bootshack mark.
- 17:24Speaker 5: Yeah, so we listened to Son of a Boy Out
- 17:27Speaker 5: every day. We loved what you were saying, Like, we'd
- 17:30Speaker 5: love you to come to do some workout in Saudi Arabia.
- 17:32Speaker 1: Do you still know Game of Thrones?
- 17:34Speaker 3: Please send us snap screenshots of your followers and your
- 17:39Speaker 3: growth and your engagement. Yeah, to determine what we will
- 17:43Speaker 3: pay you for a private one million dollars per fall
- 17:45Speaker 3: to eat, to eat a camel shank you hit your office.
- 17:50Speaker 5: I'd love that because that's what you know. That's that's
- 17:53Speaker 5: a gig, that's like a week and then you're set
- 17:55Speaker 5: for life.
- 17:55Speaker 1: I hate camel at my office.
- 17:58Speaker 3: Yeah, self conscious to eat this.
- 18:01Speaker 5: But oh, do you do a video where you're eating
- 18:02Speaker 5: like a traditional Saudi Arabian dish at the office?
- 18:05Speaker 3: Yep? I like that.
- 18:07Speaker 1: What else do they have? I'm just thinking of you
- 18:10Speaker 1: popping a hump of camel as like water squirts out
- 18:13Speaker 1: of it.
- 18:15Speaker 3: Yeah, mouth right over it.
- 18:17Speaker 5: Your head starts expanding as you fill with liquid from
- 18:22Speaker 5: the camel. You blow up like an airhead or like
- 18:27Speaker 5: one of those Capri Son commercials.
- 18:29Speaker 1: That Saudis would definitely appreciate if that happened in the video,
- 18:32Speaker 1: if you get into the kool aid man.
- 18:33Speaker 3: Yeah, very good, very good.
- 18:37Speaker 1: That has been the biggest Saudi Arabia dishes.
- 18:40Speaker 3: You know everybody has that get rich quick scheme, right, Yeah,
- 18:46Speaker 3: there was. I had a belief for a long time.
- 18:48Speaker 5: Mine was DeVante Smith.
- 18:49Speaker 8: Anytime touchdown that I'd be walking along the beach and
- 18:52Speaker 8: the Hampton's and some dog of some estate owner would
- 18:56Speaker 8: leap the fence and take a chunk out of my calf.
- 19:00Speaker 8: Mm hmm, there you go. Have you ever seen this quietly?
- 19:04Speaker 8: Have you ever seen you have quite a reach on Twitter?
- 19:08Speaker 8: Have you ever seen us Linguini's misbehavior?
- 19:13Speaker 3: You're not the first person. Usually it's a postal postal worker.
- 19:16Speaker 1: And you're already filming yourself and they have to tell
- 19:18Speaker 1: you to stop filming.
- 19:19Speaker 5: Just go do that, Just go to my house. My
- 19:23Speaker 5: dog bites everybody.
- 19:25Speaker 1: But is your family liquid enough to change his life?
- 19:28Speaker 3: Yeah, that's the issue. Your dad would be like, fine,
- 19:31Speaker 3: tweet about it. What do we care?
- 19:34Speaker 1: Yeah, go ahead, So you have to sow uh.
- 19:39Speaker 3: Mbs is the prince by the way, that was his name?
- 19:42Speaker 1: Is a rice dish with meat and vegetables you could
- 19:44Speaker 1: have that.
- 19:45Speaker 3: I'm down for that. Then I think they eat with
- 19:47Speaker 3: their hands, but maybe they don't.
- 19:49Speaker 1: Oh, if you traditionally ate, oh.
- 19:51Speaker 3: That's not a bad idea.
- 19:53Speaker 1: Ron if you ate with your hands or like an
- 19:56Speaker 1: Ethiopian dish. I mean Ethiopians definitely eat with their hands.
- 19:59Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 20:00Speaker 1: It was fucking at the wedding, just the utensils were
- 20:03Speaker 1: there and they still opted for hands.
- 20:06Speaker 3: Yeah, be disrespectful at that point to use a utensil.
- 20:09Speaker 1: Yeah, eating eating some Saudi food, But I mean, I
- 20:12Speaker 1: don't know how badly you want to get invited to Ethiopia.
- 20:15Speaker 3: It was beautiful. I don't that's that's not on the
- 20:18Speaker 3: list for me.
- 20:19Speaker 1: Yeah, I think Saudi traditional Saudi food with your hands,
- 20:21Speaker 1: but I don't know if they did. I definitely eat
- 20:23Speaker 1: with their hands in sound.
- 20:24Speaker 3: I'm not one hundred percent sure, and so I don't
- 20:26Speaker 3: mean to be culturally insensitive if they do not do that, right,
- 20:32Speaker 3: But I know there are cultures. I think it may
- 20:34Speaker 3: be the Bedouin tribes. I remember hearing where the women
- 20:37Speaker 3: prepare the food and the tents or whatever, and then
- 20:39Speaker 3: they serve a big platter to the men, all of
- 20:41Speaker 3: whom are sitting around it in a circle. They eat
- 20:43Speaker 3: with their hands and then whatever is left over on
- 20:46Speaker 3: the bones that is what the women eat.
- 20:50Speaker 1: Eating rice with your hands is crazy.
- 20:52Speaker 5: It's not that crazy, though. It's kind of like inconvenient
- 20:56Speaker 5: to eat it with a fork.
- 20:57Speaker 3: Yes, spoons the goat, dude, what I I had one
- 21:00Speaker 3: of those new tele cups with the little sticks yesterday
- 21:04Speaker 3: and I got to the bottom of it. Yeah, and
- 21:07Speaker 3: I was out of sticks. Yeah, so I used my
- 21:09Speaker 3: finger as the dipper to leave it nice and gad.
- 21:13Speaker 5: It's definitely not the first time you've done that.
- 21:15Speaker 3: No, it isn't, but almost built for that. Honestly, I
- 21:17Speaker 3: was a little bit ashamed. Yeah, I was doing I
- 21:20Speaker 3: lowered my head. Yeah.
- 21:22Speaker 1: Did you use your pinky for like the end of it?
- 21:25Speaker 3: No, it was the aperture was wide enough that I
- 21:28Speaker 3: could go pin the pointer the whole time. Yogurt cups
- 21:31Speaker 3: the old yo plays. Sometimes when I would eat them
- 21:35Speaker 3: with a spoon, the the bottom wasn't flush enough, so
- 21:40Speaker 3: I would flip the spoon over and use the stem
- 21:42Speaker 3: of the spoon to get that last part of interesting.
- 21:46Speaker 1: That it was that hungry.
- 21:47Speaker 3: I justs were good yogurt, though Native American eat every
- 21:52Speaker 3: part of the buffalo thing.
- 21:54Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean what was the those things must have
- 21:57Speaker 5: been what yogurt show pie with the red top?
- 22:04Speaker 3: Oh my god, get the pike flip.
- 22:09Speaker 1: I haven't had the flip flips into it.
- 22:12Speaker 5: Like uh, like little crumbs.
- 22:15Speaker 3: Of chunk crust. The Chobani's, they were really doing some
- 22:20Speaker 3: interesting stuff. They were the e d M of yogurt.
- 22:24Speaker 5: They still are. Yeah, every time I go to the
- 22:27Speaker 5: grocery store, I spent a while at the Chibani's.
- 22:29Speaker 3: Did you buy them though?
- 22:30Speaker 5: Yeah, just look slam them constantly.
- 22:33Speaker 3: That's a good probiotics, that's a good dessert. There used
- 22:36Speaker 3: to be a Chobani store in Soho which you could
- 22:39Speaker 3: get funky kind of that's mixed up stuff. The candle
- 22:43Speaker 3: store was always yogurt based, but like.
- 22:46Speaker 1: Were they serving it up or was it just already
- 22:48Speaker 1: prepackaged rare?
- 22:49Speaker 3: No, it wasn't prepackaged. They'd make it for you top
- 22:53Speaker 3: to bottom.
- 22:53Speaker 5: So I love a good store of a specific product
- 22:56Speaker 5: that usually you would only find in like a big
- 22:58Speaker 5: store are wal Mart or grocery store legos, I was
- 23:02Speaker 5: gonna say Yankee candle Lego store, like Yankee Candle you're
- 23:05Speaker 5: typically used to seeing it at like a target Legos
- 23:08Speaker 5: Legos Lego store is fine, but it's like have you
- 23:12Speaker 5: ever been Have you been into a Lego store?
- 23:16Speaker 3: No, I don't think I'm allowed. You have to have
- 23:18Speaker 3: a childhood company.
- 23:19Speaker 5: No, you don't know.
- 23:20Speaker 1: It's like Hershey Park.
- 23:21Speaker 3: Yeah, it's those little water fountain parks in Brooklyn.
- 23:25Speaker 5: It is a little It is like you can get
- 23:28Speaker 5: some pretty cool sets. You get a pretty good you
- 23:31Speaker 5: definitely like a millennial falcon or something like.
- 23:33Speaker 3: That millennial falcon. Yeah, and what is it? How is it?
- 23:36Speaker 5: How is it pronounced? That was the falcon that was
- 23:37Speaker 5: released in two thousand? How is it pronounced millennium? Millennium falcon?
- 23:43Speaker 5: Like millennial falcon?
- 23:43Speaker 1: Better?
- 23:44Speaker 5: It sounds better, But do you get that? But then
- 23:46Speaker 5: also it's a lot of like they just have like
- 23:48Speaker 5: individual pieces, Like dudes show up there to be like
- 23:51Speaker 5: I need a I need a I need a two
- 23:53Speaker 5: by six red and then they just single they like
- 23:58Speaker 5: you can get a lot of people go and get
- 23:59Speaker 5: like single pieces, single chunks, Like they have baskets, so
- 24:02Speaker 5: they have these big buckets of just like single I
- 24:05Speaker 5: haven't been in a very long time. It might be different. Now.
- 24:08Speaker 5: They might not be still, but they probably aren't still
- 24:10Speaker 5: selling Legos by the individual piece. I can't imagine that's
- 24:13Speaker 5: that profitable.
- 24:14Speaker 3: No, that's the penny candle.
- 24:17Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm trying to think of other the Jaquiita banana
- 24:21Speaker 1: stores a great specialized one. It's just rotting bananas. Lego
- 24:26Speaker 1: stores like fun.
- 24:28Speaker 5: I feel like you guys are really brushing over the
- 24:30Speaker 5: Yankee candle store.
- 24:31Speaker 1: I've been to the Yankee Candle outlet before. I counted
- 24:34Speaker 1: in video the number of flavors variants of pumpkin candle. Yeah,
- 24:38Speaker 1: and it's fucking insane. It's a very white pumpkin and
- 24:42Speaker 1: pumpkin pie.
- 24:44Speaker 5: You could get lost in the Yankee Candles for hours.
- 24:46Speaker 1: It's not like Lego where there's like fucking exhibits and
- 24:50Speaker 1: toys and rides and ship I feel.
- 24:52Speaker 5: Like you guys are thinking of like a specific Lego
- 24:54Speaker 5: store rather than just Lego stores, because Lego stores are,
- 24:57Speaker 5: I think, are a lot more common than you guys think.
- 24:59Speaker 3: Maybe. Yeahyankee candles are on the side of every highway
- 25:02Speaker 3: in Montana.
- 25:04Speaker 1: The Native Americans, So then I just have a very
- 25:06Speaker 1: hard time believing that.
- 25:07Speaker 3: There's one in my hometown. Of Freeport, Maine, an outlet.
- 25:10Speaker 5: That's much less surprising than every highway in Montana.
- 25:14Speaker 3: I just think of it's like the Yankee Candle fireworks
- 25:18Speaker 3: store trading post Yankee candle.
- 25:21Speaker 5: I don't agree. Start then, the last time I saw
- 25:23Speaker 5: a Yankee candle store was definitely.
- 25:27Speaker 1: I don't know the regular stores. I don't know where
- 25:28Speaker 1: the regular stores are, but I know I always see
- 25:30Speaker 1: an outlet.
- 25:31Speaker 5: There's always an outlet.
- 25:32Speaker 3: Get over your Yankee candle facts, because there are far
- 25:35Speaker 3: better candles. Have you ever had lit Labo? No?
- 25:38Speaker 8: Oh yeah, I will die on Yankee can.
- 25:41Speaker 3: Fig.
- 25:44Speaker 5: Yankee candle is a candle for the common man.
- 25:46Speaker 3: No, see, that's what I'm saying. Like you're gonna eat
- 25:47Speaker 3: a cookie, You're gonna get a cookies and cream candle
- 25:50Speaker 3: for your apartment. Get the fuck out of here.
- 25:52Speaker 1: Dude, getting the worst? Are mask like the really masculine sense.
- 25:57Speaker 3: That just yeah, boys sense.
- 25:59Speaker 1: It's just like.
- 26:00Speaker 3: Blue try Sondhal number twenty two from Labo. They have
- 26:05Speaker 3: what are the other ones? Other really fancy candle makers?
- 26:09Speaker 3: Roun some good ones?
- 26:11Speaker 5: Are you bringing round into this? Doesn't know I should
- 26:15Speaker 5: know this. She doesn't know big candles like you.
- 26:18Speaker 1: As actually low culture that I only know Yankee candleman.
- 26:21Speaker 3: He's not eating, he doesn't own, he's not getting a
- 26:24Speaker 3: fucking apple strudal candle.
- 26:26Speaker 5: I think you're you're going a little too deep into
- 26:28Speaker 5: the fruit and the food flavors, like they have good
- 26:30Speaker 5: like like you could get like a nice like a
- 26:32Speaker 5: pine p Yeah, lavender.
- 26:35Speaker 3: All extended, all of branch. Pine is a crossover between
- 26:38Speaker 3: where I'm talking and you're talking.
- 26:41Speaker 5: But that's what I never was, Like, I never went
- 26:43Speaker 5: into the Yankee candle store being like, I gotta get
- 26:45Speaker 5: the blue raspberry. What do you guys? Where's you guys?
- 26:49Speaker 5: Blue ras at? I want my apartment to smell like
- 26:51Speaker 5: sour patch kids.
- 26:52Speaker 1: I need the green Gator.
- 26:54Speaker 5: Yeah, Like obviously I was talking about like the traditional
- 26:58Speaker 5: candle scents.
- 27:00Speaker 3: I need to know what some of these other great
- 27:02Speaker 3: candle stores are.
- 27:03Speaker 1: Honestly, my wife makes her own candles.
- 27:05Speaker 3: Does she.
- 27:05Speaker 5: Yeah, that's becoming a big thing.
- 27:07Speaker 1: We're about to have to get rid of their candle
- 27:09Speaker 1: we don't have enough space for all the candle making stuff.
- 27:11Speaker 1: It's about to be a sad, sad day. I'm trying.
- 27:13Speaker 1: I'm like make a bunch of like make up a
- 27:15Speaker 1: last batch before you. But candle making stuff is so
- 27:18Speaker 1: there's like four hundred pounds of it at my.
- 27:20Speaker 5: Euse can't be there.
- 27:22Speaker 1: You need all the wax that goes into the candles.
- 27:24Speaker 5: Got to be to make candles.
- 27:26Speaker 3: It must.
- 27:26Speaker 5: It has to cost less than one dollar. Okay, I got,
- 27:29Speaker 5: I got.
- 27:30Speaker 1: You're making your own.
- 27:32Speaker 5: You guys have four hundred dollars worth of candle stuff
- 27:35Speaker 5: for thousand.
- 27:36Speaker 3: Dip Teak. Dip Teak is the really nice candle maker
- 27:39Speaker 3: as is uh ASoP Ap makes great candles as well
- 27:44Speaker 3: as hands soap. And they have this one that's got
- 27:47Speaker 3: some granularity to it, some texture, SaaS I know. Hold
- 27:54Speaker 3: this is you? He knows about this.
- 27:56Speaker 1: Are you going through something personal?
- 27:58Speaker 3: What's going on? Why would you pick up your phone?
- 28:01Speaker 3: I'm telling this directly to you.
- 28:03Speaker 5: Because I got like nine different people that are asking
- 28:05Speaker 5: me shit about candles.
- 28:06Speaker 1: Yes, tell them you're fucking working.
- 28:08Speaker 5: I get your I did, they don't care.
- 28:12Speaker 1: Tell them, well, then you don't have to answer.
- 28:13Speaker 5: If you're working, all right, I'll put my phone one.
- 28:16Speaker 1: I don't care about that.
- 28:18Speaker 3: No, I do need to put it away on candles.
- 28:20Speaker 3: Tracking men, You know the big difference between a like
- 28:25Speaker 3: a seventy six dollars candle from dip Teek and whatever.
- 28:28Speaker 3: The No.
- 28:28Speaker 5: I've explained multiple times, I I don't know what, don't
- 28:32Speaker 5: know what these candle brands.
- 28:33Speaker 3: All right, I'm missing a pine cone candle from my collection.
- 28:37Speaker 3: Oh go check the bargain bin.
- 28:40Speaker 5: When you go to Target and you go to the
- 28:42Speaker 5: candle aisle, there's usually like they've got like one or
- 28:45Speaker 5: two Yankee candles lying around because they're hot. They go quick. No,
- 28:48Speaker 5: they go quick.
- 28:49Speaker 3: That's because they produce them and nobody buys them.
- 28:52Speaker 5: No, No, it's because they go fast. When you go
- 28:54Speaker 5: to the target aisle, the first thing you're looking for
- 28:56Speaker 5: is you want and you know what it is. It
- 28:57Speaker 5: has nothing to do with the scent.
- 28:58Speaker 3: It's the jar.
- 29:00Speaker 5: The Yankee candle has a superior.
- 29:03Speaker 1: The candle like the candle will all melt down and
- 29:05Speaker 1: the wax will come up like the head of a beer.
- 29:08Speaker 5: The candle never dies.
- 29:09Speaker 1: The candle like the Eternal flame.
- 29:11Speaker 5: It's exits very similar to the Eternal flame.
- 29:14Speaker 3: I think I think that the Yankee candle burns, uh
- 29:20Speaker 3: not like it lopsided.
- 29:23Speaker 5: And I'm not and I'm not talking about the flat
- 29:25Speaker 5: you know, the one that has the flat lid. I'm
- 29:26Speaker 5: talking about the one that has the big round, the
- 29:29Speaker 5: glass knob lid. Yes, you rip it off, you rip
- 29:33Speaker 5: it off.
- 29:34Speaker 1: It's it's air tight.
- 29:36Speaker 5: Now you got pine pine radiating through your house, or
- 29:39Speaker 5: as Francis would assume, maybe like a maybe like a
- 29:43Speaker 5: train of watermelon at Prey ski cocoa, Like that's fun,
- 29:49Speaker 5: that's a fun scent, Like I love one that's like
- 29:52Speaker 5: cozy log cabin fire.
- 29:55Speaker 3: Yeah, and then you're in your apartment and you're.
- 29:57Speaker 5: Just standing with your face right over it.
- 30:00Speaker 3: Mmmm.
- 30:01Speaker 1: Actually, the candles my wife does bring home are fucking monsters.
- 30:05Speaker 1: They are like punch bowls.
- 30:06Speaker 3: Those big ones, and yeah, those are great. But if
- 30:09Speaker 3: you got one from the nice places, they're about five
- 30:11Speaker 3: hundred bucks.
- 30:12Speaker 5: She must be see, like that's something that is just dumb.
- 30:17Speaker 3: I don't disagree.
- 30:18Speaker 5: Spend five hundred dollars on whack?
- 30:20Speaker 3: Do you know where I buy expensive candles?
- 30:23Speaker 5: Cheese and make your own candle?
- 30:24Speaker 3: Do you know where I buy my expensive candles? Where eBay?
- 30:27Speaker 3: You buy used swear?
- 30:29Speaker 5: No, you're buying used candle.
- 30:31Speaker 3: Only used once. Well, I can see the wick is black.
- 30:35Speaker 1: And it's all the way burnt.
- 30:36Speaker 5: Out buying your candles on deep hop.
- 30:39Speaker 3: The thing about buying a better expensive candle is that
- 30:42Speaker 3: they burn more slowly and more evenly.
- 30:44Speaker 5: Do you trans Literally nothing you could tell me that
- 30:47Speaker 5: could convince me to buy a better expensive candle.
- 30:49Speaker 3: I'm gonna get you one.
- 30:51Speaker 5: You better not. That ship's going straight in the trash.
- 30:54Speaker 3: Why would you do that? If I bought you an
- 30:55Speaker 3: expensive candle, you'd throw it away.
- 30:57Speaker 5: I would say, return this. I would never keep I
- 31:00Speaker 5: don't bring it the wrong way I go, I go,
- 31:02Speaker 5: bring it to the back of the store and get
- 31:03Speaker 5: my money back. Get then I would give you half
- 31:06Speaker 5: the money.
- 31:07Speaker 3: Yeah you're big on that, aren't Yeah, returning your friend's
- 31:11Speaker 3: money and keeping old piece for yourself.
- 31:13Speaker 1: I got so many d ms with people asking me
- 31:16Speaker 1: to send them the PlayStation controller.
- 31:20Speaker 3: I'm not.
- 31:20Speaker 5: It's not for sale. Speaking of PlayStation, I had some troubling.
- 31:24Speaker 5: Uh stuff happened last night?
- 31:26Speaker 1: What happened?
- 31:27Speaker 5: I finally I had to do it. I had to
- 31:28Speaker 5: buy a new PlayStation.
- 31:29Speaker 1: You did? Yeah?
- 31:31Speaker 5: It was cooked. When I got home. I couldn't get
- 31:32Speaker 5: it to.
- 31:32Speaker 1: Work because they were jostling it around in DSA.
- 31:35Speaker 5: Probably you buy.
- 31:36Speaker 3: A new PlayStation every month. And you're not willing to
- 31:38Speaker 3: spend more than five bucks on a candle.
- 31:40Speaker 1: Yes, exactly, you're spending five hundred on a PlayStation when
- 31:44Speaker 1: you should be getting a three wicked punch.
- 31:47Speaker 3: Yeah, you know who sells PlayStations eBay? Really? Yeah, you
- 31:51Speaker 3: add two things to your cart, new place for three
- 31:55Speaker 3: and a camp.
- 31:55Speaker 5: And you probably you could probably throw on a third
- 31:57Speaker 5: for free discount.
- 31:58Speaker 3: Sure, yeah, bundle.
- 31:59Speaker 5: You gotta get a candle sponsorship. I'd love to do
- 32:01Speaker 5: our podcast with just like one hundred candles.
- 32:03Speaker 3: There. Customers who purchased a gently use PlayStation also purchased
- 32:07Speaker 3: La figue.
- 32:09Speaker 5: But uh, what I was gonna say roun was that
- 32:12Speaker 5: now I have another controller. It's big.
- 32:18Speaker 1: Controller.
- 32:19Speaker 5: I now have another one.
- 32:20Speaker 1: You have a fifth controller?
- 32:21Speaker 3: Yes? Oh yeah, this is the Spotify candle.
- 32:26Speaker 5: Let me see that. Let me get my paws on that,
- 32:27Speaker 5: because I can't imagine Spotify is putting out a cheap candle,
- 32:30Speaker 5: and I could that's actually a hot that's a hot one,
- 32:33Speaker 5: because I'd like we get that on eBay for like
- 32:35Speaker 5: a thousand bucks.
- 32:35Speaker 3: Do you see this wick? It's too long. If you
- 32:38Speaker 3: leave it that long, the flame will be high and
- 32:40Speaker 3: that's going to cause it to burn unevenly. Even this.
- 32:42Speaker 3: You see see how it's burned a hole in the middle.
- 32:44Speaker 1: Yeah, not good, But I think that's it could be
- 32:47Speaker 1: due to the poor The poor of the wax has
- 32:50Speaker 1: to be even as well.
- 32:52Speaker 5: One time, when I was in high school, I was
- 32:53Speaker 5: in my room and I had a candlelight and I
- 32:55Speaker 5: wanted to uh, and I blew it out, and then
- 32:57Speaker 5: I wanted to relight it, and I picked it up
- 32:59Speaker 5: to relight it, and I forgot that I had just
- 33:03Speaker 5: blown it out, and all of the hot wax spilled
- 33:06Speaker 5: all over my bed. It was impossible to remove.
- 33:11Speaker 3: Yeah, you think that's bad, try having a never mind.
- 33:17Speaker 1: Why did I can't believe you had candles in your room.
- 33:23Speaker 1: That doesn't strike me as a very you thing to do.
- 33:25Speaker 5: Picking up flame.
- 33:26Speaker 3: We once took a party Bushican.
- 33:29Speaker 5: That's the only scent I'm getting his fire.
- 33:30Speaker 3: And we paid our buddy on the way. They had
- 33:33Speaker 3: that someone had gotten strippers for the party bus to
- 33:35Speaker 3: Mohican Sun. And we paid our buddy like two hundred
- 33:38Speaker 3: bucks to have her drip hot wax.
- 33:40Speaker 5: All over his bare back, which I guess is nice.
- 33:44Speaker 3: That was what I was going to say, is that
- 33:46Speaker 3: is that a.
- 33:48Speaker 1: I guess people find that sexual.
- 33:49Speaker 3: I don't know. I'm not into it.
- 33:51Speaker 1: Have you tried it?
- 33:52Speaker 5: No, you might be, you might fucking like it might
- 33:55Speaker 5: change your life.
- 33:55Speaker 3: I think that's just one of those things where assumptions
- 33:58Speaker 3: and sometimes.
- 33:58Speaker 5: You might go homeless if yeah, yeah, that could be
- 34:01Speaker 5: one that like really impacts your life in a negative way.
- 34:04Speaker 5: How much you get hot wax on your back once
- 34:06Speaker 5: and then you find out that you literally you've never
- 34:08Speaker 5: loved anything as much as you love You have.
- 34:10Speaker 1: Been orgasmic, right, You've been like you just get a limitless.
- 34:14Speaker 3: For how you come.
- 34:16Speaker 5: It fully ruins your life, It might, dude, if you're
- 34:21Speaker 5: just only what if you're only using one tenth of
- 34:23Speaker 5: your cumb and there's ninety percent more. Yeah, and all
- 34:27Speaker 5: you need to get it out is the hot wax
- 34:28Speaker 5: on your back. Like we're gonna be doing our podet,
- 34:31Speaker 5: We're gonna be waiting in here, Like where the fuck
- 34:33Speaker 5: is Francis? He's laying again, Tomas. He shows up, his
- 34:36Speaker 5: back is covered in wax.
- 34:39Speaker 3: What looks like the Blue Man group. I was busy.
- 34:43Speaker 5: Francis is a getting out of control man.
- 34:46Speaker 1: His shirt sticking to his back because he's just coated.
- 34:51Speaker 3: You smell like pine all the time.
- 34:54Speaker 1: I wonder if people pick the scent when they get
- 34:57Speaker 1: it drizzled all over them, or they'll just take whatever.
- 34:59Speaker 5: I think just go candle stick, which I believe are
- 35:02Speaker 5: typically scentless.
- 35:03Speaker 3: How are you horse today? But you weren't yesterday.
- 35:07Speaker 5: I'm very horse today.
- 35:08Speaker 1: I don't know. I just I think I've just been yapping.
- 35:11Speaker 1: I've been fucking yapping. Oh yeah, your show, Yeah, just
- 35:14Speaker 1: yeapp yesterday.
- 35:16Speaker 5: I'm not really liking how much success your show is having.
- 35:19Speaker 5: We fall back to every other.
- 35:21Speaker 1: Week with that. Yeah, it's not that much success.
- 35:25Speaker 5: He's got like thirty thousand subscriber I.
- 35:26Speaker 3: Saw that I had. I'm not gonna lie it was
- 35:29Speaker 3: a little trouble. You're hearing footsteps. It's not there's some
- 35:35Speaker 3: fucking lumbering footsteps.
- 35:36Speaker 5: Time to shut it down.
- 35:38Speaker 3: Different.
- 35:38Speaker 1: That's that slapshot of comedy. That's three stooges comedy. It's
- 35:42Speaker 1: all physical comedy. I'm basically like getting a hit in
- 35:45Speaker 1: the back of the head with a two by four.
- 35:46Speaker 5: We're gonna make an offer them. We're gonna see if
- 35:48Speaker 5: we can buy you out. Tell you what turned that
- 35:50Speaker 5: into a son of a Boydad clips channel.
- 35:52Speaker 3: And this guy. We're leaving you in the dust now
- 35:55Speaker 3: until you start deciding to post again.
- 35:57Speaker 5: Yeah, Year of Francis, What the hell I posted this weekend?
- 36:00Speaker 3: You don't post. Ship when you do, it goes.
- 36:03Speaker 1: Yeah, it was actually great this weekend that.
- 36:04Speaker 3: You one tweet. Yeah, that weekend for you.
- 36:08Speaker 1: What it is is you got to get out into
- 36:09Speaker 1: the world and just like go to events.
- 36:11Speaker 3: You gotta go live a little.
- 36:12Speaker 1: He's right, you're gonna go to You just have to
- 36:14Speaker 1: go to like the NCAA tournament and ship and just
- 36:17Speaker 1: like do one bang of a tweet and it will
- 36:19Speaker 1: pay for itself.
- 36:20Speaker 3: It won't.
- 36:20Speaker 1: That's my understanding of the Internet. It will it won't.
- 36:23Speaker 5: Why the whole reason I stopped tweeting was because it
- 36:26Speaker 5: did not pay for anything.
- 36:28Speaker 3: I could see you on catching some of your tweets
- 36:30Speaker 3: and inviting you to come be.
- 36:31Speaker 1: Part of Oh yeah, his Saudi.
- 36:33Speaker 3: The Department of Government Efficiency is huge. Hey, listen, we'd
- 36:36Speaker 3: like you to be our next speaker at the Dubai
- 36:39Speaker 3: World Leader event.
- 36:40Speaker 1: I could see Cash Betel seeing some of your tweets
- 36:42Speaker 1: and joining inviting you to join the FBI.
- 36:45Speaker 5: That would be sick.
- 36:45Speaker 1: I think that you could definitely like.
- 36:47Speaker 5: Counter terrorism or what's a what's a position that you
- 36:51Speaker 5: could get offered that with zero hesitation. You'd be like,
- 36:54Speaker 5: I'm quitting comedy, I'm quitting the podcast. I'm going to
- 36:56Speaker 5: do this.
- 36:57Speaker 1: It would be sick to be a spy if someone
- 36:59Speaker 1: just life was like you, you, we need a spy.
- 37:02Speaker 5: But in English speaking, Francis can never be a spy
- 37:05Speaker 5: because you look too much like a spy. In Saudi Arabia,
- 37:09Speaker 5: I don't like they'd be like this, dude's clearly defense.
- 37:12Speaker 3: Yeah, but that's that's not that's not because I look
- 37:16Speaker 3: like a spy. It's because i'm the I'm white and
- 37:18Speaker 3: have red hair. I could never be a spy because
- 37:20Speaker 3: my features are too overt.
- 37:22Speaker 5: No, I think it's because you look like a spy.
- 37:24Speaker 3: I can't blend in exactly because you're a spy. Spies
- 37:28Speaker 3: blend in.
- 37:29Speaker 5: I could be a spy.
- 37:30Speaker 3: Spies blend in.
- 37:31Speaker 5: I could be a spy.
- 37:32Speaker 1: It's Bond, James Bond, and they're like, yeah, no, we know,
- 37:34Speaker 1: we know you, we spotted you.
- 37:37Speaker 3: You could. You could be a spy more more readily
- 37:40Speaker 3: than I could. But that's because your features are less
- 37:43Speaker 3: noticeable distinctive.
- 37:47Speaker 1: You're saying he is the worst jaw line.
- 37:51Speaker 3: If you asked a sketch artist to draw. If someone
- 37:54Speaker 3: saw me, you know, passing in one second, and they
- 37:57Speaker 3: asked the sketch artist to draw me, and you saw
- 37:59Speaker 3: the the rendering, you'd say, oh, that's Francis. Yeah. If
- 38:03Speaker 3: someone said, yeah, this kid, I don't know he he's
- 38:07Speaker 3: wearing Patriots pajamas, and it.
- 38:10Speaker 1: Would be outfit determinative, not pajamas.
- 38:16Speaker 3: It would be my point being, we wouldn't be able
- 38:18Speaker 3: to pick you out from your sketch.
- 38:22Speaker 5: I don't know about that, but I do think I
- 38:23Speaker 5: would have a better time. I think I would have
- 38:24Speaker 5: a better chance being a spot than you do. But uh,
- 38:28Speaker 5: go back to the original question, because I think that
- 38:31Speaker 5: people wouldn't expect me to be a spy.
- 38:34Speaker 1: Yeah, but you'd be the kind of spy that just
- 38:36Speaker 1: fucked their way into information.
- 38:38Speaker 3: Yeah, you'd just be.
- 38:40Speaker 5: I'd be fucking everybody.
- 38:45Speaker 1: I think that's what Obama's cook was the one that died.
- 38:48Speaker 1: You think he was a spy that was fucking him
- 38:49Speaker 1: for information.
- 38:51Speaker 5: No, I think he was just fucking for the love
- 38:52Speaker 5: of the game. And then it got too it got
- 38:55Speaker 5: too real.
- 38:55Speaker 1: Just accidentally became a spy. Yeah, he wasn't spying to fuck.
- 38:59Speaker 5: He was to spy, yeah, but just for lad love
- 39:02Speaker 5: of the game.
- 39:03Speaker 1: Yeah, my answer is spy, though, spy, what's yours?
- 39:06Speaker 3: That would not have been my answer. Does it have
- 39:09Speaker 3: to be like a government job?
- 39:10Speaker 5: No, it could be anything like someone messages you today,
- 39:14Speaker 5: you get an email on your personal email and they're like, Francis.
- 39:19Speaker 3: For you GM of the Celtics, that would be amazing.
- 39:23Speaker 3: Are you saying is it something that in a perfect
- 39:26Speaker 3: world I would actually be well suited for that job?
- 39:29Speaker 3: I could do it.
- 39:30Speaker 5: No, you're taking You're taking a risk.
- 39:33Speaker 3: That I think I could succeed in. Yes, well that's
- 39:36Speaker 3: obviously not GM of the Celtics. Then no, A, you're kidding.
- 39:40Speaker 5: I think that job is lot easier than people think.
- 39:42Speaker 3: I don't think it is.
- 39:43Speaker 5: I think it's hard to get the job.
- 39:45Speaker 1: I don't think that job you just click chips.
- 39:48Speaker 5: I think once you get the job, you just go
- 39:49Speaker 5: on chat GBT and you're like, should Jason stay to
- 39:51Speaker 5: Jason Tatum to.
- 39:52Speaker 1: Stay or.
- 39:55Speaker 5: Jason Statham's stay? What should we do with Jalen Brown
- 40:02Speaker 5: in the off season. Keep them all right, that's what
- 40:05Speaker 5: we're gonna do.
- 40:08Speaker 3: What was I gonna say, Okay, well you guys talk
- 40:10Speaker 3: because I have to think about this a job that
- 40:13Speaker 3: I would leave what we do for without a moment's hesitation.
- 40:18Speaker 1: Would you go ash? Would you do astronaut if they
- 40:20Speaker 1: offered you it?
- 40:20Speaker 3: No? See, that's because I wouldn't succeed at that.
- 40:22Speaker 5: I don't say you would succeed, say you would succeed.
- 40:25Speaker 3: Well, that's a big difference.
- 40:26Speaker 1: You're gonna succeed no matter which one you do.
- 40:28Speaker 3: Veterinarian really, yeah, you just get in so much trouble
- 40:32Speaker 3: killing dogs if you don't have that degree.
- 40:36Speaker 1: It is the carte blanche of killing.
- 40:39Speaker 3: It's like being a cop. Like we are the only
- 40:42Speaker 3: people legally allowed to actually kill people. So you have
- 40:45Speaker 3: to take advantage killing a horse holy shit, and having
- 40:49Speaker 3: it be humane.
- 40:51Speaker 1: I was about to say that being padded on the.
- 40:53Speaker 3: Back because you put a horse down, that's a big mammal,
- 40:56Speaker 3: huge to take the life from. Watch it fades.
- 41:01Speaker 5: It's like six humans.
- 41:02Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean I think a mortician, if you're going
- 41:05Speaker 1: in that bane, I think you could be great at it.
- 41:07Speaker 1: But they're already dead.
- 41:08Speaker 3: Is the only problem I think Whitewater Rafting Guide being
- 41:12Speaker 3: outside all the time. I really admit.
- 41:15Speaker 5: That's the gig that would you'd put everything behind you
- 41:18Speaker 5: for now you're living. Now, you're living whitewater Rafting Guide salary.
- 41:23Speaker 5: You're probably only working two months out of the year.
- 41:27Speaker 5: Let's reconsider.
- 41:28Speaker 3: Yeah, but they all become they all work in like
- 41:30Speaker 3: they all become.
- 41:31Speaker 1: You're dealing with an overweight mid Western lady who just
- 41:35Speaker 1: like decides halfway want to go back.
- 41:37Speaker 5: He has no idea how to swim either.
- 41:39Speaker 3: They they know I would do it on the middle
- 41:41Speaker 3: fork with the salmon.
- 41:43Speaker 1: What about an Olympic whitewater rafter?
- 41:45Speaker 5: Is that a thing?
- 41:46Speaker 3: That's cool? But that seems dangerous anyone who's actually a kayaker,
- 41:50Speaker 3: you know that's what they're we're talking about. The training
- 41:53Speaker 3: for that is dangerous.
- 41:55Speaker 5: But yeah, I guess mine will probably something like that too,
- 41:57Speaker 5: though I'd probably do like fly fishing guide.
- 42:00Speaker 3: Yeah, there you go. Think I would enjoy that at outside.
- 42:02Speaker 5: All the time, maybe all my own fly shop. That'd
- 42:05Speaker 5: be cool.
- 42:05Speaker 3: And you make you don't make a ton of money,
- 42:07Speaker 3: but you don't need money. Now you're out of your house,
- 42:09Speaker 3: your fifteen bedroom mansion in Wyoming. Yeah, costs three hundred grand.
- 42:15Speaker 5: Yeah, and there's like six people living in it that
- 42:18Speaker 5: are all paying ten thousand dollars a week to live there.
- 42:20Speaker 3: Yeah exactly. Yeah, and then you ski in the winter.
- 42:23Speaker 3: I mean that'd be sick. I think. I think any
- 42:25Speaker 3: job that would get me out of New York City
- 42:27Speaker 3: and allow me to be outside all the time, yeah,
- 42:29Speaker 3: would be pretty nice.
- 42:31Speaker 1: Right, You don't me both of you and that spy
- 42:33Speaker 1: is way sick or both were like decided to be
- 42:36Speaker 1: middle school teachers.
- 42:37Speaker 5: Yeah. Yeah, I was gonna go because, well, the Francis
- 42:42Speaker 5: point of changing it to something that you could actually
- 42:44Speaker 5: do changed my opinion because I was going to say,
- 42:47Speaker 5: like NFL something like wide receiver or something like that.
- 42:50Speaker 5: But obviously I can't do that.
- 42:54Speaker 1: You'd have to be like an offensive guard. Yeah, you
- 42:57Speaker 1: could do it, but you have to be like three
- 42:58Speaker 1: hundred and fifteen pounds.
- 43:00Speaker 3: Yeah. We also know how uncomfortable you get impersonating NFL players,
- 43:05Speaker 3: do I certainly if you're at a casino, true sit.
- 43:10Speaker 1: Around freshly on your ass.
- 43:12Speaker 5: I didn't even remember it at first.
- 43:16Speaker 1: How does this shakeshack look to you? Fellas? It's so good?
- 43:18Speaker 1: I had that burger earlier.
- 43:20Speaker 3: Looks good.
- 43:22Speaker 1: Burger has a little bit of spice to it.
- 43:23Speaker 5: Shakeshack really likes to. Uh you ever walk by a
- 43:26Speaker 5: Shakeshack The.
- 43:27Speaker 1: Smell that they pump into the they're.
- 43:29Speaker 5: Pumping it, right, they're definitely pumping. There's no way that's
- 43:32Speaker 5: that's just coming straight from the kitchen. They're pumping.
- 43:34Speaker 1: It's so attractive, they have to be pumping it. I
- 43:36Speaker 1: think certain stories pump smell.
- 43:38Speaker 5: Dude, I could catch a Shakeshack from four blocks away.
- 43:42Speaker 3: You're just like.
- 43:44Speaker 1: Cartoons.
- 43:45Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, that's genuinely what you You You're walking through
- 43:50Speaker 5: the city and you're like, there's a Shakeshack somewhere around here.
- 43:54Speaker 1: Yeah, it's the best. Smells so good, it's amazing. So
- 43:58Speaker 1: I wonder, who's the first one to do that to
- 43:59Speaker 1: pump Starbucks?
- 44:02Speaker 5: What the fuck would Starbucks be pumping being sale?
- 44:06Speaker 3: I think they do that. I think they do perfume
- 44:08Speaker 3: their stores with coffee smell.
- 44:10Speaker 1: They're not pumping the food. They're not pumping the egg
- 44:12Speaker 1: bites smell just smells like eggs, Like, oh, I need
- 44:16Speaker 1: a fucking coffee.
- 44:19Speaker 3: I'm still thinking about this. I think this is a
- 44:21Speaker 3: really good question that you asked, it's.
- 44:24Speaker 5: Really not that crazy of a question what your job is.
- 44:28Speaker 1: I think it has to be something that is within
- 44:32Speaker 1: your body type, but you would be successful at it,
- 44:35Speaker 1: and I don't think you have to be restricted to
- 44:37Speaker 1: the salary of it.
- 44:38Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't know. Part of me thinks, uh, you know,
- 44:41Speaker 3: being a being a like a selling really really highly
- 44:45Speaker 3: coveted woodworking on Etsy.
- 44:47Speaker 1: I was thinking some kind of wo or just like
- 44:49Speaker 1: what if you had like a a wood shop in
- 44:53Speaker 1: like Florence or something like on the side of a
- 44:56Speaker 1: cobble stone road and you're just like sawing making a
- 45:00Speaker 1: different chair every.
- 45:01Speaker 3: Time or something like that.
- 45:02Speaker 1: Craft craft, true craftsmen's people.
- 45:05Speaker 5: There's some people that run like guiding fla fishing guides
- 45:09Speaker 5: in like the Bahamas, and they literally just live on
- 45:11Speaker 5: like a shack in the Bahamas and.
- 45:12Speaker 3: People just come.
- 45:13Speaker 5: But there's also they also do get like wiped out
- 45:15Speaker 5: by hurricanes like once in five years, and they have
- 45:18Speaker 5: to like start their entire business from the ground up.
- 45:21Speaker 1: You think they're trying to meet a girl on a
- 45:23Speaker 1: on the tour or something like that.
- 45:25Speaker 5: You think that's what they do.
- 45:26Speaker 1: I'm asking or like, how do they because obviously if
- 45:28Speaker 1: they had a woman in their life, they'd have a
- 45:30Speaker 1: nicer home. So do you think that they're looking for
- 45:33Speaker 1: love out there or do you think they're just looking
- 45:35Speaker 1: for lust?
- 45:37Speaker 3: I have no idea.
- 45:38Speaker 5: I never have considered any of those things.
- 45:41Speaker 3: The protagonists in Hemingway's posthumous novel Islands in the Stream
- 45:44Speaker 3: lived on an island in the Caribbean and painted.
- 45:47Speaker 5: He was a painter and paint blue.
- 45:51Speaker 3: No, yeah, landscapes mostly. But I think everyone really liked
- 45:54Speaker 3: his work, and he seemed to live a very good life.
- 45:58Speaker 3: His sons would come to visit him and he would
- 46:00Speaker 3: fish with them, havingway well, all of his protagonists were
- 46:04Speaker 3: always some version of himself.
- 46:07Speaker 5: Oh, a broadcast like an NFL broadcaster would be a
- 46:10Speaker 5: sick job, like a black I played by play commentator.
- 46:12Speaker 1: But you're British, Yeah, you see that.
- 46:14Speaker 5: You see those British guys with the coop British Jan's touchdown. Yeah,
- 46:17Speaker 5: they were unreal. And why is it always in every
- 46:21Speaker 5: other people anyone that's not American is better at that job?
- 46:24Speaker 3: You know? I say that we have some pretty good
- 46:26Speaker 3: announce We have some pretty good announcers.
- 46:28Speaker 5: We Kevin Harlan's the best yeah, but I can never
- 46:32Speaker 5: remember his name.
- 46:33Speaker 3: The college football No, not him, he's too over the
- 46:37Speaker 3: top for me. The guy who does the National Championship
- 46:40Speaker 3: college football, I.
- 46:41Speaker 5: Don't know, Kirk, it might be him. Yeah, Kevin Harlan
- 46:46Speaker 5: is the best. He's the one that does the He's
- 46:49Speaker 5: like the you know, the Lamar clip where he runs
- 46:52Speaker 5: the touchdown back for like sixty yards and he does
- 46:55Speaker 5: the spin move and then he goes and now he's
- 46:57Speaker 5: got an entourage. He is Whodini. That guy's great. Kevin
- 47:03Speaker 5: Harlan's the best.
- 47:04Speaker 1: He is really good. But at the same time, you
- 47:06Speaker 1: say that Gus Johnson is too over the top, But
- 47:09Speaker 1: then when we listen to a Spanish announcer where we
- 47:12Speaker 1: can't understand anything, we're saying, we're enjoying how over the
- 47:14Speaker 1: top they are.
- 47:16Speaker 3: True, go.
- 47:22Speaker 1: Like that shit is awesome. That rules what Gus Johnson does.
- 47:26Speaker 1: Ye know, Gus Johnson's were like, yeah, he just goes guttural.
- 47:30Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 47:31Speaker 5: Al Michaels maybe forty years.
- 47:33Speaker 1: Ago, summer off Madden. Yeah yeah, you know Madden stopped
- 47:38Speaker 1: coaching when he was like thirty six. Really, yeah, I
- 47:41Speaker 1: think he was just a broadcaster. If you look at
- 47:43Speaker 1: a picture of John Madden coaching. He looks like he's
- 47:45Speaker 1: sixty five. Yeah, different times they carried him off the field.
- 47:51Speaker 1: There's like that iconic clip. Well, yeah, you have my phone.
- 47:53Speaker 1: We traded phones. I don't want to just give.
- 47:55Speaker 5: Me the protein bar. I don't want to pull up
- 47:57Speaker 5: the Kevin Harlan clips. I gotta hear it.
- 47:58Speaker 1: Just give me the protein barb.
- 48:00Speaker 3: I'll pull up my guy because I really like my guy.
- 48:03Speaker 3: And you guys are gonna know who I'm talking.
- 48:04Speaker 5: Let's compare guys. Everyone give a clip from their guy.
- 48:07Speaker 1: Erods, Squatchini, Melos, he is whodeni.
- 48:18Speaker 5: I'm going with mine.
- 48:20Speaker 1: Down the middle, fielding down in the free getting Tage's
- 48:31Speaker 1: kind of touchdown.
- 48:33Speaker 3: Yeah, very good.
- 48:37Speaker 5: Seven yard touchdown run by the magical quarterback Lamar Jackson.
- 48:43Speaker 3: Just watch this good thing.
- 48:44Speaker 5: I mean, it doesn't get it's like transit. He doesn't
- 48:48Speaker 5: get much better than that.
- 48:49Speaker 3: He my favorite guy.
- 48:52Speaker 5: Now he's got an entourage.
- 48:54Speaker 3: Chris Fowler.
- 48:55Speaker 1: Chris Fowler.
- 48:56Speaker 3: Christ Fowler is my guy.
- 48:58Speaker 1: That's her. That's here, all right.
- 48:59Speaker 5: What one of his best calls in my it's actually
- 49:03Speaker 5: funny in my.
- 49:19Speaker 1: That is that he is a nice voice and he's
- 49:22Speaker 1: excitable as hell.
- 49:23Speaker 5: Not bad, not bad, not Kevin Arlin, but not bad.
- 49:31Speaker 3: He's really good. He's really good. The first one didn't
- 49:34Speaker 3: do it justice. He's amazing. I love Chris Valor. He's
- 49:38Speaker 3: just got that timber you know, that that timbre of
- 49:41Speaker 3: a voice some people can call a game and it's
- 49:46Speaker 3: it's what you envision and want when you.
- 49:50Speaker 1: Really think it's something nostalgic, that's like this like fifty
- 49:53Speaker 1: style voice that they all have.
- 49:55Speaker 5: Yeah, that's definitely what it is.
- 49:58Speaker 3: I'm trying to find that.
- 49:59Speaker 1: He is a electrifying Joleen Hurts, dropping Buck the fucking

- 51:27Speaker 1: be Francis, because you didn't even wait until we're all
- 51:29Speaker 1: eating to start eating the shake Shack, which is insane.
- 51:33Speaker 1: I know who I'm bringing, Who's your bogo bo bogo,
- 51:37Speaker 1: is your bogo bo?
- 51:38Speaker 3: Go with me to shake Shack be my bogo.
- 51:41Speaker 1: Okay, I changed my mind. Actually mine is gonna be
- 51:43Speaker 1: my wife because we're gonna go and go right to
- 51:48Speaker 1: the corner and uh, I'm gonna go ahead and do
- 51:52Speaker 1: that one instead. Are you gonna Are you gonna do
- 51:56Speaker 1: it yourself? Are you gonna just enjoy it yourself? Sas
- 51:59Speaker 1: what's your pa?
- 52:01Speaker 5: I'm gonna enjoy it myself.
- 52:02Speaker 1: Do you think you can have two burgers yourself?
- 52:04Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 52:04Speaker 1: Really absolutely, that's pretty good. The Smokeshack burger is actually delicious.
- 52:08Speaker 1: Their angus beef topped with apple wood bacon, the chopped
- 52:12Speaker 1: cherry peppers which give it an incredible spice. Really, there's
- 52:16Speaker 1: a nice cake and of course the shakes that shake
- 52:18Speaker 1: sauce on a toasted potato. But Shakeshack is serving up
- 52:21Speaker 1: to the Shakeshack Bogo and they don't want you to
- 52:23Speaker 1: miss Valentine's Day. A week from the eleventh through the
- 52:27Speaker 1: seventeenth of February, visit your local Shakeshack or order online
- 52:30Speaker 1: with code be Mine. It's shaking and shacking with Shakeshack.
- 52:36Speaker 1: Harry Callous was an old Phillies guy. He was incredible.
- 52:41Speaker 1: Even the d stadium announcers. That's a specific type of voice.
- 52:44Speaker 3: You need to have.
- 52:45Speaker 1: Yep, Phillies center fielder, Marlon Bird No, nice, nice smooth
- 52:50Speaker 1: ass voice.
- 52:52Speaker 9: Umst what was it a streaker video?
- 53:19Speaker 3: Oh?
- 53:20Speaker 5: The streaker Kevin Harlan, Yeah, yeah, the play by play
- 53:24Speaker 5: the police.
- 53:25Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah, let's let's move on because I don't you know,
- 53:30Speaker 3: I don't think that's a very good topic.
- 53:32Speaker 5: I thought it was a great topic.
- 53:34Speaker 3: I just think you're playing fucking voiceless imageless clips. People.
- 53:39Speaker 3: People know it. Yeah, I did it too to humor you,
- 53:43Speaker 3: but as I was doing it, I thought, this is
- 53:45Speaker 3: not you.
- 53:45Speaker 5: You did it and then you realized how much worse
- 53:47Speaker 5: your pick was than mine, and then you immediately were like,
- 53:49Speaker 5: we got to move top.
- 53:50Speaker 6: No.
- 53:50Speaker 3: I think, I think I thought. I think. I thought,
- 53:52Speaker 3: let that be the end of it, and then you
- 53:54Speaker 3: pulled up another one and I realized this air is
- 53:57Speaker 3: dead now.
- 53:58Speaker 5: I really think like you tried to compare to Kevin
- 54:00Speaker 5: Harlan and you just were like, there's nothing.
- 54:01Speaker 3: To compare to. I'm not going to bicker with you.
- 54:04Speaker 3: That's you and Rowan territory.
- 54:05Speaker 5: We don't have to picker.
- 54:06Speaker 3: You have taken the bicker torch.
- 54:08Speaker 1: I'm just saying he doesn't want to bicker as long
- 54:10Speaker 1: as you say he won the argument. Yeah, he's like,
- 54:12Speaker 1: we don't have to argue about this. Just tell me
- 54:13Speaker 1: that I'm right.
- 54:14Speaker 3: I'm not holding the anymore. You two are passing the bigger.
- 54:17Speaker 5: But you know that, you know that, Kevin, I like
- 54:20Speaker 5: my picks. Who was your pick? I don't even remember
- 54:22Speaker 5: you having a pick.
- 54:24Speaker 1: Just like saying the Spanish words.
- 54:26Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, see, now you want to see some growth?
- 54:28Speaker 3: Your guy was better?
- 54:29Speaker 5: Yeah he was good bye a lot.
- 54:33Speaker 3: Are you satisfied he is?
- 54:35Speaker 5: Hootini?
- 54:40Speaker 3: Did he get out of that one?
- 54:42Speaker 1: I did ask get out of that one? I haven't
- 54:44Speaker 1: been able to smell this candle the whole time, though.
- 54:46Speaker 5: No, it's not very senseless.
- 54:47Speaker 3: Spotify clearly better at music.
- 54:49Speaker 5: Yeah, stick to music, all right, Leave podcasts.
- 54:54Speaker 1: Leave the candles to the fucking pros.
- 54:57Speaker 5: Bet Joe Rogan got a nice smelly candle.
- 55:00Speaker 1: Oh, he probably got like a like a totem pole
- 55:03Speaker 1: of a candle. He probably got a three story candle.
- 55:06Speaker 5: They probably got smokeless fireplaces.
- 55:09Speaker 3: I have one of those. Yeah, I like those? Do
- 55:11Speaker 3: you like it? Yeah, it's great. There's so yeah, maybe
- 55:17Speaker 3: the big one. They're like this big, my big. I
- 55:20Speaker 3: have one big one and it's pretty big. I mean
- 55:22Speaker 3: you can fit a couple of logs in there and
- 55:23Speaker 3: they burn hot. They create a lot of heat and
- 55:26Speaker 3: they burn clean. And then I also have as a
- 55:28Speaker 3: as a what's called a I think it's called a
- 55:31Speaker 3: T gift. When you play in a member gaess golf
- 55:34Speaker 3: tournament or something, they'll often give you a bag of
- 55:36Speaker 3: swag and something on the first tee. And the T
- 55:40Speaker 3: gift for one of these tournaments I played in was
- 55:41Speaker 3: the small space heater sized solo stove. Like hell, it's
- 55:47Speaker 3: a low T gift and it's cool. You can put
- 55:49Speaker 3: that on a on a dining table outside or something
- 55:51Speaker 3: and it creates heat.
- 55:52Speaker 5: For the kind of sucks that you got to play
- 55:54Speaker 5: eighteen holes with it though, just lugging around a fucking fireplace.
- 55:58Speaker 1: There's a links course.
- 56:01Speaker 5: Dig Yeah, I guess I'll just carry this stove for
- 56:05Speaker 5: eighteen holes.
- 56:06Speaker 1: And the clubs, I guess I'll just take two clubs and.
- 56:09Speaker 5: Then over your back and you're just logging a fucking
- 56:14Speaker 5: four hundred pounds stove.
- 56:16Speaker 3: They were small, they were do you have any wood
- 56:20Speaker 3: you want?
- 56:20Speaker 1: The three or the There we go, there we got
- 56:24Speaker 1: some good ass GoF shi?
- 56:25Speaker 3: What are you three or five?
- 56:26Speaker 5: Man? I never I never even carried a five, nor
- 56:28Speaker 5: did I.
- 56:29Speaker 3: I don't carry a five wood. I have a three
- 56:30Speaker 3: wood and a hybrid.
- 56:32Speaker 5: What what is your hybrid?
- 56:33Speaker 3: It's probably a three hybrid?
- 56:36Speaker 1: Yeah, because if you're gonna hit your five, you might
- 56:37Speaker 1: as well hit your nine iron. No, not even close
- 56:42Speaker 1: or three iron. I haven't played golf.
- 56:45Speaker 5: And maybe if you're going to hit a five wood,
- 56:47Speaker 5: you're definitely not hitting a nine iron.
- 56:49Speaker 1: Well, I guess. I guess you're nine stupid. I guess
- 56:53Speaker 1: are way different than yours. Wait, I hit an I
- 56:56Speaker 1: hit a nine probably about two seventy five.
- 56:58Speaker 5: Yeah, that would be the world record for sure.
- 57:00Speaker 1: Did you?
- 57:01Speaker 3: What happened to you? Why are you? Why are you
- 57:03Speaker 3: in this mood? What mood? You're in a mood?
- 57:06Speaker 2: No?
- 57:06Speaker 3: One not dumb.
- 57:11Speaker 5: I just like piling on like there's no pile.
- 57:14Speaker 1: You are the pot.
- 57:15Speaker 5: I was waiting for you to hop on with me.
- 57:17Speaker 3: I don't ever do that, As I said, I thought
- 57:19Speaker 3: we were.
- 57:20Speaker 5: We were kind of ragged all on him about his
- 57:23Speaker 5: laugh about his lack of golf knock.
- 57:26Speaker 3: As the two golf guys.
- 57:28Speaker 1: But that's very ungolfly.
- 57:29Speaker 5: You know who should you should literally like being like, well,
- 57:32Speaker 5: why would I hit my five irons? I get I
- 57:33Speaker 5: know when I was gonna hit my potter.
- 57:35Speaker 1: Who would be a funny person for you to call?
- 57:37Speaker 1: Maybe hit a beef and we could all laugh about it.
- 57:39Speaker 1: Somebody who will really pile on?
- 57:42Speaker 3: Now?
- 57:43Speaker 1: Did you see the video?
- 57:44Speaker 5: Call my old golf coach.
- 57:46Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, call him and just see it. He'd be like,
- 57:49Speaker 1: this fucking dumbass that I'm working was just compared to
- 57:52Speaker 1: five five wood to a nine iron.
- 57:54Speaker 3: You got mischief coming out your ears right now.
- 57:57Speaker 5: Being a coach for a sport would be cool.
- 58:00Speaker 3: Mischief.
- 58:00Speaker 5: Go back to the jobs.
- 58:01Speaker 1: You couldn't be mischievous as a coach. There's no mischievous
- 58:04Speaker 1: coaches managers in baseball.
- 58:06Speaker 5: Maybe yeah, it's definitely mischievous coaches, Bill Belichick, you're itching
- 58:09Speaker 5: for a fight. I'm not.
- 58:11Speaker 3: Just like when when Grant crossed the Rapentan River to
- 58:16Speaker 3: take on Lee. Yeah, which began the campaign right here, Richmond.
- 58:22Speaker 1: And you keep on fucking keep on dancing on the rope, Panton.
- 58:26Speaker 3: I'll find the river.
- 58:26Speaker 5: Hold on nothing I'm not used to.
- 58:31Speaker 1: That won't be doing it all to be one.
- 58:35Speaker 3: Yeah, he's gonna do a little historical fact check here,
- 58:39Speaker 3: how's the new station, the rapid rapid dan.
- 58:42Speaker 5: River, Francis, I think we're gonna move topics.
- 58:44Speaker 3: That's all it is, though.
- 58:44Speaker 5: I think we're gonna move on.
- 58:45Speaker 3: We're not gonna play a thirty second you know, telling
- 58:48Speaker 3: of that story.
- 58:50Speaker 5: And be like, see, hey, Francis, it moved on.
- 58:53Speaker 1: I'm gonna play the name of my favorite rivers or
- 58:55Speaker 1: on to the next I'm about to play the pronunciation
- 58:57Speaker 1: of some of my favorite rivers.
- 58:59Speaker 5: What are your top three rivers given to me?
- 59:03Speaker 1: U schoogle m hm, the Delaware and the mighty Monongahela.
- 59:09Speaker 5: Oh, very good choices, thank you. Delaware is definitely top
- 59:12Speaker 5: three for me.
- 59:14Speaker 1: I have a home base Mississippi and Missouri. I mean
- 59:16Speaker 1: those are betas Chattahooch tattooch.
- 59:18Speaker 3: Is nice waits Which ones are your top three?
- 59:22Speaker 5: Definitely Delaware because I fish off of the branches of
- 59:26Speaker 5: the Delaware when I'm in New Jersey and I really
- 59:30Speaker 5: want to fish the Madison River in Montana. That sounds
- 59:35Speaker 5: very fun. I like the Chattahoochee. H you know the song?
- 59:42Speaker 1: Have you ever set foot in it?
- 59:43Speaker 5: Or have you? Have you seen it fallen? I fell
- 59:44Speaker 5: into it.
- 59:45Speaker 1: Oh, really, up to my neck, the actual Chattahoochee, the.
- 59:47Speaker 5: Actual chattooch And it was right after they had any coal.
- 59:50Speaker 5: I breakout.
- 59:51Speaker 1: What I love most about rivers the same river twice
- 59:55Speaker 1: because it's always moving. Let's poke, honest, that's good. I
- 59:58Speaker 1: got you singing a musical song. No, and you didn't
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: even know what this entrapment. You've fallen right into my trap.
- 1:00:04Speaker 5: No one knows, Pocahon, it's better than me.
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: What I love most about rivers is you can't stay.
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: Have been the same river twice?
- 1:00:09Speaker 3: You can.
- 1:00:10Speaker 5: Actually, that's like one of the dumbest things I've ever heard.
- 1:00:15Speaker 5: Roast her ass, South Branch of Aridon. Been in that
- 1:00:18Speaker 5: shit fucking one hundred times.
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: What's your top three, Francis as you list fifteen.
- 1:00:22Speaker 3: Middle Fork of the Salmon great. I guess more broadly,
- 1:00:25Speaker 3: we could just say the Salmon, but the Middle Fork specific.
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: Where's that Idaho?
- 1:00:30Speaker 3: Well?
- 1:00:30Speaker 5: Oh, really, you've been there.
- 1:00:33Speaker 3: We've talked about this.
- 1:00:34Speaker 5: I always assumed you were talking about the Salmon River
- 1:00:36Speaker 5: in upstate New York.
- 1:00:38Speaker 3: No, you've been to Idaho, down the Middle Fork of
- 1:00:42Speaker 3: the Salmon River in Idaho.
- 1:00:43Speaker 5: Really, that's like one of my dream places together.
- 1:00:46Speaker 3: It's amazing. It's amazing.
- 1:00:48Speaker 5: You want to hear a funny story. I might have
- 1:00:49Speaker 5: told you this. So when we were we were trying
- 1:00:52Speaker 5: to plant a fishing trip like a couple of years ago,
- 1:00:54Speaker 5: and we were all extending like spots, and I was like,
- 1:00:57Speaker 5: my friends were all sending spots out west because they
- 1:00:59Speaker 5: all live out there. And I was like, guys, I
- 1:01:01Speaker 5: feel like we're really like, uh, we're really like brushing
- 1:01:04Speaker 5: away from the East Coast, like Upstate New York, Vermont, Maine,
- 1:01:07Speaker 5: like there's really good fishing spots, Like we could try
- 1:01:08Speaker 5: to go to one of these places. And I sent
- 1:01:10Speaker 5: the Salmon River and I was sending photo sending photos
- 1:01:14Speaker 5: of this because the Salmon River in upstate New York
- 1:01:16Speaker 5: is like one of the best rivers for steelhead in
- 1:01:19Speaker 5: probably all of the East Coast. So I was sending
- 1:01:22Speaker 5: the Salmon River and I'm like, guys, we got to
- 1:01:23Speaker 5: check out, like and I was sending photos with like
- 1:01:25Speaker 5: the mountains, and I was like, I was like, this
- 1:01:27Speaker 5: is incredible, Like this is. I was like, this is
- 1:01:28Speaker 5: three hours away from New York City, Like why don't
- 1:01:30Speaker 5: we go here? And then Bo looks it up and
- 1:01:33Speaker 5: he was like, dude, that's the Salmon River in idem
- 1:01:35Speaker 5: And I was sending screenshots of the Salmon River in
- 1:01:38Speaker 5: Idaho being like.
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: This is this is four hours away from you never
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: visit me?
- 1:01:42Speaker 5: Yeah, exactly.
- 1:01:43Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:01:44Speaker 5: In my defense, if you look up the Salmon River
- 1:01:46Speaker 5: on Apple Maps, it comes up with the Salmon River
- 1:01:51Speaker 5: in upstate New York, but it comes up with photos
- 1:01:53Speaker 5: of the Salmon River.
- 1:01:56Speaker 3: Yeah. It was incredible. I was probably ten or eleven,
- 1:02:01Speaker 3: and it was just one of those big, big groups
- 1:02:05Speaker 3: and it was like my whole family we went.
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: Is your parents? Are your parents pretty good? At uh?
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: At Whitewater Rafting.
- 1:02:10Speaker 3: I mean, you know, before it there was whatever twelve
- 1:02:14Speaker 3: people on a boat with a guide, mostly the big
- 1:02:17Speaker 3: the big ones are just kind of bouncing down the river.
- 1:02:21Speaker 3: There's not a lot of issues or need to, you know,
- 1:02:24Speaker 3: be particularly skilled. However, on the on the second day,
- 1:02:28Speaker 3: I think it was like a week long trip and
- 1:02:30Speaker 3: the the out you know, the guides and some some whatever.
- 1:02:34Speaker 3: The people who were curating the trip would go ahead
- 1:02:37Speaker 3: and set up the tents at the end of the
- 1:02:40Speaker 3: day way down the river for where you would stay,
- 1:02:44Speaker 3: and then we'd have it at night. We'd have group
- 1:02:46Speaker 3: dinners and I don't know, they are probably like forty people.
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: Were you sitting on the ground or were you cross have.
- 1:02:52Speaker 3: Little folding tables and set up and you know, his
- 1:02:55Speaker 3: family style. It was cool, but everything was outside. You
- 1:02:58Speaker 3: camped every night. Yeah. But on the second day, uh,
- 1:03:02Speaker 3: they brought out these things called duckies, which were the
- 1:03:05Speaker 3: inflatable kayaks, and they were about six or seven of them,
- 1:03:08Speaker 3: and I always wanted to be in the duckies. So
- 1:03:11Speaker 3: first day I was in a ducky and the middle
- 1:03:14Speaker 3: fork of the salmon has I think class three rapids, yeah, probably,
- 1:03:18Speaker 3: you know. Do you know what how the the highest classification?
- 1:03:22Speaker 3: What is it?
- 1:03:22Speaker 5: Four?
- 1:03:23Speaker 3: Or five? I think it's five.
- 1:03:24Speaker 5: It's nine dumb ass, but five is like full blown waterfall?
- 1:03:27Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: Wrong, wrong, I wasn't.
- 1:03:31Speaker 5: Yeah, you were going to say ten. I don't care
- 1:03:33Speaker 5: if it if you were ten guys, So apologize, you apologize.
- 1:03:41Speaker 5: You're cutting him off and being disrespectful. Please please shut up, okay,
- 1:03:46Speaker 5: round apologize, I'm sorry.
- 1:03:48Speaker 3: So I don't want that from you. It's him, You're
- 1:03:52Speaker 3: this guy.
- 1:03:54Speaker 5: So I'm fascinated by the story. I want to hear.
- 1:03:57Speaker 3: Well, the duckies would come out and and what's a ducky?
- 1:04:00Speaker 5: The inflatable kayaks so hesting. So it's just me and
- 1:04:03Speaker 5: let's just talk.
- 1:04:04Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm ten years old and we're going down Class
- 1:04:06Speaker 3: three rapids. The first one when I go down flip
- 1:04:09Speaker 3: really yeah. We got helmets and we got life jackets on.
- 1:04:11Speaker 3: But now you're floating and they've get They've told you
- 1:04:14Speaker 3: try to float feet first down the kind of thing.
- 1:04:17Speaker 3: But the rabbits are pretty serious. I mean, you're bouncing around.
- 1:04:20Speaker 5: You know why you go feet first? I do know, Yeah,
- 1:04:23Speaker 5: so you can fend off rocks with your legs. Oh,
- 1:04:25Speaker 5: I thought it was because if you go feet if
- 1:04:27Speaker 5: you go head first, there's a chance your feet get
- 1:04:29Speaker 5: caught and then you're just head first, just getting pushed
- 1:04:33Speaker 5: down into the water.
- 1:04:34Speaker 3: There may be truth to that, but you know. Yeah,
- 1:04:37Speaker 3: So so whatever flipped, you know, rush down the river,
- 1:04:41Speaker 3: get past the set of set of rapids and they
- 1:04:43Speaker 3: pick you up. They fish out fine. It was fine.
- 1:04:47Speaker 3: It was exhilarating. It was fun. On the last day,
- 1:04:50Speaker 3: it's the final day, I got enough people that had
- 1:04:54Speaker 3: their turn in the duckies that I got to go again. Yeah,
- 1:04:56Speaker 3: and I wanted to go again. And we're going and
- 1:05:00Speaker 3: and it's kind of low key, it's not particularly hard rapids,
- 1:05:04Speaker 3: and I'm just sort of floating and I go through
- 1:05:07Speaker 3: one and then my ducky turns sideways and I go
- 1:05:10Speaker 3: sideways over a rock, a rock rabbit, and that immediately
- 1:05:15Speaker 3: flips me and I land in the eddie, you know
- 1:05:18Speaker 3: the swirl where the water comes around the rock and
- 1:05:21Speaker 3: then comes back down. Yeah, And the boat, the little
- 1:05:25Speaker 3: boat flipped on top of me, and it was upside down,
- 1:05:29Speaker 3: so the water was pulling me down and I'm under
- 1:05:32Speaker 3: the boat and I'm drowning, drowning, fully drowning, ye, screaming.
- 1:05:40Speaker 3: And one of the guys, this Australian guy, they were
- 1:05:42Speaker 3: in proper whitewater rafting kayaks and really knew what he
- 1:05:46Speaker 3: was doing. And he was banging on the top of
- 1:05:48Speaker 3: the ducky with his paddle, saying get out, get out,
- 1:05:52Speaker 3: And I'm like, I can't, you know, I'm ten, So
- 1:05:56Speaker 3: were you breathing because I was getting like lungfuls of yeah, yeah,
- 1:06:00Speaker 3: I'm wearing a life jacket, but the water was so
- 1:06:02Speaker 3: powerfully pushing me down and somehow they ended up flipping
- 1:06:06Speaker 3: the boat back over and uh, you were.
- 1:06:09Speaker 5: Out of the boat though, right, You weren't like I'm
- 1:06:11Speaker 5: under the boat.
- 1:06:11Speaker 3: No, no, yeah, there were no. It was a bullshit kayak.
- 1:06:15Speaker 3: It was not a well that there was no skirt.
- 1:06:18Speaker 3: I couldn't do a role, which I've since learned how
- 1:06:22Speaker 3: to do, by the way, And it's really fun.
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: Yeah, kayaker, I.
- 1:06:28Speaker 3: Know I would like to get back into kayak.
- 1:06:29Speaker 5: Is that a real thing.
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: Yes, But it's like on courses though it's almost like indoor.
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: It's like two. It's like a tight ass course.
- 1:06:36Speaker 3: But I'll never I'll never forget that moment. That was
- 1:06:39Speaker 3: probably the most scared I've ever been in my life.
- 1:06:41Speaker 3: To this day, I can think about that and the
- 1:06:43Speaker 3: feeling of being being trapped into that boat. But last thought, uh,
- 1:06:48Speaker 3: one of the you know, it was so well curated
- 1:06:50Speaker 3: this whole trip. And on the third or fourth they
- 1:06:54Speaker 3: my grandpop father came and he's an avid fly where
- 1:06:56Speaker 3: he was an avid fly fisherman. Uh, and they had
- 1:07:00Speaker 3: set up one of the whiteworder rafting boats to be
- 1:07:04Speaker 3: just this lazy drifting one with seats on it, where
- 1:07:07Speaker 3: a lot of the older people and the guys who'd
- 1:07:08Speaker 3: like to fly fish could fly fish off the boat
- 1:07:10Speaker 3: as they went down the river. So there's all kinds
- 1:07:12Speaker 3: of different things that you could do on that whitewater
- 1:07:15Speaker 3: rafting trip. At one point we passed under a drawbridge
- 1:07:19Speaker 3: like this rope bridge that connected the right bank of
- 1:07:22Speaker 3: the river to a cattle farm on the left, and
- 1:07:25Speaker 3: we saw a mountain lion stalking across the ridge to
- 1:07:29Speaker 3: go presumably kill a fucking live livestock, a cow or whatever.
- 1:07:37Speaker 3: Super cool wildlife, BirdLife. Only sad thing was that there
- 1:07:41Speaker 3: was a lot of devastation from forest fires. And that
- 1:07:43Speaker 3: was like twenty five years ago before. I can imagine
- 1:07:47Speaker 3: it's way worse now. But it was truly a formulative experience.
- 1:07:51Speaker 5: That's pretty sick. I want to go there, so awesome.
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: All right, second favor, let me show you.
- 1:07:55Speaker 5: Let me show you just so I can show you
- 1:07:57Speaker 5: that I wasn't being no, we believed you.
- 1:07:59Speaker 3: I don't think that that was something that we.
- 1:08:00Speaker 5: Were Salmon River, Hamilton County, New York. And then these
- 1:08:05Speaker 5: are the photos of the river.
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: Well, that looks fucking incredible. Those I mean the mountains
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: in the background.
- 1:08:11Speaker 5: This is not in upstate New York.
- 1:08:13Speaker 3: Yeah. There was a guy on the our trip who
- 1:08:17Speaker 3: had played five seasons in the NFL as an offensive lineman, damn,
- 1:08:21Speaker 3: and he did it. Every night. Someone would kind of
- 1:08:23Speaker 3: give a talk if there was someone interesting in the
- 1:08:25Speaker 3: group about what they had done, and I remember being
- 1:08:27Speaker 3: the most excited to hear his story. But that was
- 1:08:30Speaker 3: the first time I learned that like NFL players, most
- 1:08:33Speaker 3: of them do not have oh yeah, fifteen year careers
- 1:08:36Speaker 3: and make tons of money. Because he was like, yeah, four,
- 1:08:39Speaker 3: season three, I tore my achilles. Season four, I broke
- 1:08:42Speaker 3: my tricep. Yeah, then it was a wrap. I made
- 1:08:45Speaker 3: six hundred thousand dollars.
- 1:08:46Speaker 5: Yeah, you're like, and I just fucked.
- 1:08:51Speaker 3: I mean, I guess I don't want your autograph.
- 1:08:53Speaker 5: Yeah, Shack, you kind of are fucked when that happens
- 1:08:57Speaker 5: to you. Yeah, because it's like you didn't get you
- 1:09:00Speaker 5: probably got a degree in some bullshit thing.
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: I mean, they want to be in twenty four like
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: everybody else that's twenty four. I don't think it's that.
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: I don't think you're fucked. If you played three years
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: in the NFL. The connections you have are probably incredible.
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: If you even if you made league minimum for three years,
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: you've made over a million dollars by the time were
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: like twenty four. There's nothing that's true. I don't think
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: you're exactly fucked. But I mean, if there's some people
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: who don't have transferable skill sets or like who just
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: blow through the money like it's always going to be there. Yeah,
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: there's probably some people who come out broke. But I mean,
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: this seems like this guy had to wherewithal.
- 1:09:31Speaker 5: He was on the Salmon River. He's probably.
- 1:09:34Speaker 3: Probably started to use car sales, yeah, a lot in Texas,
- 1:09:38Speaker 3: and you know, because he was this gigantic, likable guy.
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: Yeah, what's your second two favorite rivers?
- 1:09:45Speaker 3: The Socco River in Maine. I want to go with
- 1:09:48Speaker 3: a local home favorite for me. Yeah, well, respect like
- 1:09:52Speaker 3: the Socco River and your third Soccer river. You could
- 1:09:54Speaker 3: do a lazy river down flowed nice and easy.
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: You could get some in or tubes like that, like
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: the school same same laser river type of thing. I love.
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: That's incredible. That's an elite activity.
- 1:10:06Speaker 3: Yeah, I think I've become a fan of well, any
- 1:10:11Speaker 3: real river that is runs through a city or adjacent
- 1:10:15Speaker 3: to a city that you can actually swim in because
- 1:10:17Speaker 3: it's still clean. I'm always very impressedra That's exactly what
- 1:10:21Speaker 3: I was thinking of. What it's not? I think so
- 1:10:25Speaker 3: the one that's in Austin. Yeah, I think that's so
- 1:10:28Speaker 3: cool that they do those huge flotillas on hot days.
- 1:10:31Speaker 3: Everyone goes out there, you.
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: Run a kayak. You're in the middle of the downtown.
- 1:10:36Speaker 5: Are you doing Atlanta anytime soon?
- 1:10:39Speaker 3: No?
- 1:10:39Speaker 5: Now, if you do, go check out the Chattooch.
- 1:10:42Speaker 3: Can you swim in it? Yeah?
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: That's cool, but that's not it doesn't split the downtown,
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: does it.
- 1:10:47Speaker 5: No, but it's really nice.
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: Chicago River is like the idea that you can just
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: take boats through personal boats is kind of nice.
- 1:10:54Speaker 3: Yeah, that's cool. What are what are other big city
- 1:11:00Speaker 3: that have a swimmable river in them as a body
- 1:11:03Speaker 3: of water.
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: Milwaukee as the river through the middle of it definitely
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: not swimmable.
- 1:11:07Speaker 5: Yeah, there's I know European cities.
- 1:11:11Speaker 3: Have you've seen that click of that city. I think
- 1:11:13Speaker 3: it's in Austria where people will commute to work by
- 1:11:16Speaker 3: floating down the river.
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: They puts incredible.
- 1:11:18Speaker 3: They put their like work belongings in a waterproof bag
- 1:11:21Speaker 3: and just float down the river. Now, that's awesome though,
- 1:11:23Speaker 3: the coolest thing ever.
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: How do they get home though? Walk they have to
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: take the sixteen mile loop.
- 1:11:29Speaker 3: Of the river. It may be that they actually get
- 1:11:31Speaker 3: home that way.
- 1:11:32Speaker 5: That would be an awesome way to like end the
- 1:11:34Speaker 5: day decompressed, decompressed, just floating in the water suit.
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: Yeah, so cool, tom Ford, awesome, I love it. Yeah,
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: that would be so I don't know. I mean, do
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: you think that that happens every day? Like there's like
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: traffic jams on the river because it's rush hour. No,
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: if it's like raining, I'm sure people aren't fucking where
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: are they even getting? Like how are they restocking the
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: inner tubes? Are you blowing up? Are you carrying your
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: inner tube to work?
- 1:12:03Speaker 3: They're having inner tubes. I saw them just floating with
- 1:12:06Speaker 3: their inflatable where they're their bag of belongings, their waterproof bag,
- 1:12:09Speaker 3: and then just floating down the river. I'm gonna pull
- 1:12:11Speaker 3: up a picture.
- 1:12:12Speaker 5: There's any homeless people that just live on the float,
- 1:12:15Speaker 5: Like they're just constantly flowing in a circle.
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: Like people stay in the subway.
- 1:12:19Speaker 5: Yeah, but they're just always floating.
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: I mean, it would be nice, but does it is
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: everyone healthy to be in the water that long?
- 1:12:26Speaker 5: Yeah, definitely how to.
- 1:12:28Speaker 3: Swiss City hydrated basil and uh basil and burn The
- 1:12:34Speaker 3: workers commute in the in the river, not in a boat.
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: Those are big city big cities, aren't they.
- 1:12:42Speaker 5: That's pretty sick people just in burn?
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: Is they just fucking float like bikers?
- 1:12:48Speaker 3: And yeah? Yes, yeah, super cool.
- 1:12:52Speaker 5: I've got another top three, but I'm not gonna I
- 1:12:54Speaker 5: don't really want to give up my honey holes like that.
- 1:12:56Speaker 5: That's why I've kind of gone with just like well known.
- 1:12:59Speaker 5: Ye say, that's fine, Like my top three are definitely different.
- 1:13:05Speaker 5: I would put the Delaware in my actual top three.
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: Great, it's historic, Yeah, Washington the best painting of a
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: river probably. What are what are the other good river paintings?
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: There's got to be some Ruba colon ass fucking paintings.
- 1:13:22Speaker 5: There's some really nice rivers out in Like whut in
- 1:13:25Speaker 5: uh uh? Like this Pacific Northwest?
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: What river splits the Grand Canyon? Santa Fe?
- 1:13:32Speaker 3: Is that?
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: What's the river that splits the Grand Canyon? Just exposed myself.
- 1:13:37Speaker 3: I mean, I'm embarrassed that I can't think of it either.
- 1:13:41Speaker 3: Isn't it the Colorado? Yes?
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: It's gotta be.
- 1:13:45Speaker 3: I don't think it's the Colorado River.
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: Boy, you don't know it.
- 1:13:48Speaker 5: The Arkansas River in Colorado is a very nice river.
- 1:13:50Speaker 5: The Colorado You were right, I'm more of a fan
- 1:13:53Speaker 5: of the Arkansas. You just had no idea runs through Colorado.
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: Never heard of the Grand Canyon? Have you no your first?
- 1:14:01Speaker 3: Uh?
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: Happy, happy to learn you. It's actually beautiful.
- 1:14:05Speaker 5: I'd love to see you.
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: It's like three hours upstate of here. Yeah, it's really nice.
- 1:14:09Speaker 5: Yeah, that's like the where I went fishing in Pennsylvania.
- 1:14:12Speaker 5: The uh what was that river called, like Pine River
- 1:14:17Speaker 5: or something like that. I don't evergo what it was called.
- 1:14:18Speaker 5: But they call that area the Grand Canyon of Pennsylvania.
- 1:14:21Speaker 5: M really, it's like they call it the Grand Canyon.
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: Pennsylvania, I think is a bunch of like tiny towns
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: that exist in different countries. Or there's like a Scotland
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: and then Aleppo, which is where Syria.
- 1:14:34Speaker 5: Yep, aren't you from Pennsylvania? What?
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: Yes? But what was that to do with it? Aleppo's
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: in like western Pennsylvania by Pittsburgh, got it? So what
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: was your point about me being from Pennsylvania. That's why
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: I knew the fact.
- 1:14:46Speaker 5: Yeah, but you said it like you were guessing.
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: I'm saying where Aleppo is the actual city that it's referencing.
- 1:14:52Speaker 3: Oh okay, smart ass amazing.
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: I really had enough how to you?
- 1:14:56Speaker 5: This is just crazy to not be like up to
- 1:14:58Speaker 5: date on like Pennsylvania college you put your intention because
- 1:15:01Speaker 5: I'm starting to wonder if you're even from Pennsylvania. I
- 1:15:04Speaker 5: could see you being like a Jersey guy.
- 1:15:06Speaker 3: Just one week together, and now this is exactly what it's.
- 1:15:11Speaker 3: This is what it's been with me for him for
- 1:15:13Speaker 3: fucking ever, and it's eerie to hear it.
- 1:15:16Speaker 5: I feel like I'm looking through.
- 1:15:18Speaker 3: The looking glass that's someone else living my life and
- 1:15:22Speaker 3: I'm yelling out.
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: Like, oh.
- 1:15:25Speaker 5: There are a lot of Jersey people that claim Philly.
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:15:29Speaker 5: So I'm just starting and putting it all together. I've
- 1:15:31Speaker 5: got questions.
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: Because I asked if Aleppo was in Syria.
- 1:15:35Speaker 5: Why don't you give me your parents phone numbers? I'm
- 1:15:36Speaker 5: gonna make some calls after this check some info. Six
- 1:15:41Speaker 5: turns out his real name is Clarence. Clarence parents have
- 1:15:44Speaker 5: a real good marriage.
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: Talk to me like this Cranbook is actually a private
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: school too.
- 1:15:54Speaker 3: Really, I might need to get to the airport.
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: Where are you going? You're going to golf, you son
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: of a bitch?
- 1:16:00Speaker 5: Yeah, where are you going?
- 1:16:02Speaker 3: I'm going out to Colorado for what? Skiing? Bastard?
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: Yeah, that's so odd?
- 1:16:07Speaker 3: Should I go? Wan? Come?
- 1:16:09Speaker 5: I got nothing this weekend?
- 1:16:11Speaker 3: Come through.
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: I thought I thought you were going to a city.
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: Now that awesome.
- 1:16:16Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: Where you staying with your brothers?
- 1:16:18Speaker 3: My buddy, Yeah, his family has a house out of
- 1:16:20Speaker 3: out near Beaver Creek.
- 1:16:23Speaker 5: The idea of just randomly finding out Francis has.
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: Like eight brothers, Mocky, Ricky, Tommy, Terry, Donny, and Brianna.
- 1:16:30Speaker 5: Yeah, me and my brothers are getting the house up.
- 1:16:32Speaker 3: And you don't remember you dropped me off at my
- 1:16:34Speaker 3: brother's on the way home. Brothers, you knew it.
- 1:16:39Speaker 5: Turns out Francis is the youngest by like twenty years.
- 1:16:42Speaker 5: He's got like fucking sixty year older brothers.
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: Oh, I have lots of property in Colorado. Oh yeah,
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: how you said. When I was a kid, when I
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: was like six or seven, I used to tell people
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: that I had an older brother because I wanted one badly.
- 1:17:01Speaker 5: I think anyone that didn't have a brother has done that.
- 1:17:03Speaker 5: What it said said you had a one thousand percent
- 1:17:06Speaker 5: said I had brothers.
- 1:17:07Speaker 3: I didn't say that. I don't have a brother. I
- 1:17:11Speaker 3: never said that.
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: I don't know why I did. I don't know what
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: the and I was like, he's six eight and he skateboards.
- 1:17:19Speaker 5: I wanted a brother so bad.
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: I don't know. Those are just my thought. I guess
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: what I thought was cool being like a six eight skateboard.
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: These six eight dudes even.
- 1:17:29Speaker 3: Skateboard, get custom trucks, custom trucks, custom bearings.
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: You're either six eight or you skateboard. Reinforced decks were
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: five eight, you skateboard.
- 1:17:39Speaker 5: Being a six eight skateboarder would be insane.
- 1:17:42Speaker 3: How about a Zoo York deck? Where are you.
- 1:17:44Speaker 5: Skiing this weekend? Give us the Mountain Veil Veil and
- 1:17:47Speaker 5: Beaver Creek. That sounds so nice. Great, a lot of
- 1:17:52Speaker 5: power down there, right.
- 1:17:53Speaker 3: No, I don't know exactly. They've had a pretty big amount.
- 1:17:56Speaker 5: I've been talking. I've been talking to my connects out
- 1:17:57Speaker 5: in Colorado, and they're saying it's pissing. They're saying it's
- 1:18:02Speaker 5: pissing powder all day.
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: Is that even good? Yeah?
- 1:18:08Speaker 5: Every time I talked to Peters, he's like he's like,
- 1:18:10Speaker 5: we just got a foot. We got a foot last night.
- 1:18:13Speaker 5: I'm just giving you a heads up. I wanted to
- 1:18:15Speaker 5: be like walking in, you're walking into some.
- 1:18:18Speaker 3: I'm gonna bring out my boats. I'm bringing my powder boats.
- 1:18:21Speaker 5: You ever you know you get the uh? I had
- 1:18:24Speaker 5: these when I was really young. You ever get the uh?
- 1:18:26Speaker 5: The really small skis.
- 1:18:28Speaker 3: No, I didn't. I wasn't one of those guys.
- 1:18:29Speaker 5: And get them. They're fun. I still haven't.
- 1:18:31Speaker 3: I know those kids. Sometimes those kids ended up not
- 1:18:34Speaker 3: doing well in life though I had them.
- 1:18:36Speaker 5: I'm doing great.
- 1:18:38Speaker 3: We probably didn't have them long enough though I used
- 1:18:40Speaker 3: them once. Yeah, there you go, kids who really thought
- 1:18:43Speaker 3: that those were the things.
- 1:18:44Speaker 5: See, I got them because I wanted to.
- 1:18:46Speaker 3: I wanted to.
- 1:18:48Speaker 5: I wanted to use them in my yard and I
- 1:18:49Speaker 5: would build jumps on like a hill that.
- 1:18:51Speaker 3: We had, and we all we all built jumps.
- 1:18:55Speaker 5: The problem was with those skis. They're so small that
- 1:18:57Speaker 5: they don't really bend. So you would go to hit
- 1:19:00Speaker 5: the jump and your skis would just go straight through
- 1:19:02Speaker 5: the base of the jump and you would just tip
- 1:19:04Speaker 5: right over. There's zero flex to them at all. So
- 1:19:08Speaker 5: I had to bring out the armandas they were what
- 1:19:11Speaker 5: they called ski skates something like that. They're fun though.
- 1:19:14Speaker 3: Yeah, I'll get them.
- 1:19:15Speaker 5: I'll bring I'll give them to wait, would you get
- 1:19:16Speaker 5: after that? The what my armadas?
- 1:19:18Speaker 3: Nice? Yeah? I thought you said Armanda's I did.
- 1:19:24Speaker 5: I fully did say that they did.
- 1:19:26Speaker 3: You're always adding some consonants. Why not? I love it
- 1:19:30Speaker 3: the little spies, so.
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: The Spanish do it a little till day All right, good,
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: good stuff, enjoy your flight.

- 1:20:18Speaker 5: why who cares?
- 1:20:18Speaker 3: Because the fans cared? I care about that.
- 1:20:21Speaker 5: We'll just put it out late on Tuesday. Again.
- 1:20:22Speaker 3: No, I've already got my fights booked. I didn't even
- 1:20:26Speaker 3: I wasn't even planning to tell you guys this until
- 1:20:28Speaker 3: you guys all just we're like, yeah, I don't even
- 1:20:30Speaker 3: know if the Eagles are gonna let us come home
- 1:20:34Speaker 3: to record the pod.
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: They're actually saying they want us to join the team.
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: They want us to go down for thee They need
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: us riving the bus.
- 1:20:40Speaker 3: And it's also one of those things too, where it's like,

- 1:21:03Speaker 5: home and barstool told me it was time to go.
- 1:21:05Speaker 3: You flew home through another city and missed the flight.
- 1:21:08Speaker 5: That's not true at all.
- 1:21:10Speaker 3: You said you were flying home through Charlotte and you
- 1:21:12Speaker 3: missed the flight.
- 1:21:13Speaker 5: I missed the flight to Charlotte. Never I never got
- 1:21:16Speaker 5: to Charlotte.
- 1:21:16Speaker 3: Oh, whoops, I guess I'm saying it wrong.
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: And and I would have got.
- 1:21:21Speaker 5: I got, I got so different from what I said.
- 1:21:23Speaker 5: You know what, when I landed, when I when I
- 1:21:28Speaker 5: when I landed, When I landed at JFK, I got
- 1:21:31Speaker 5: an email from Americans saying, welcome to New York. Because
- 1:21:35Speaker 5: I'm My flight landed the exact same time as that
- 1:21:37Speaker 5: other flight landed, So it didn't change anything, just made
