- 0:07Speaker 1: Head bugs. Welcome into the Irish Steers podcast on we're
- 0:12Speaker 1: recording this today before Thanksgiving. If you are listening to
- 0:14Speaker 1: this in the US, or if you're from the US,
- 0:17Speaker 1: listen to this overseas. Happy banks even hope you have
- 0:19Speaker 1: a great time. I'll enjoy the holiday season and jealously.
- 0:22Speaker 1: We don't get a holiday season, guys until a few
- 0:25Speaker 1: weeks away. Michael Liquid, Jimmy and with Steven mckaebole, we
- 0:28Speaker 1: had a little holiday season many one on Sunday when
- 0:32Speaker 1: the Steelers came to Cook Park in Ireland for a
- 0:35Speaker 1: few days. Jimmy, we are going to recap. We're going
- 0:37Speaker 1: to talk about that weekend and obviously talk about the
- 0:39Speaker 1: game and the news has come after it. First off,
- 0:42Speaker 1: how are you do any good?
- 0:43Speaker 2: I am as good as I can be make at
- 0:45Speaker 2: the minute. I'm not gonna lie.
- 0:47Speaker 3: It's taking me about the gust of three days to
- 0:49Speaker 3: recover from Sunday night. I'm sure you plays are the same.
- 0:52Speaker 3: I see Dave taking a swig of water there, we're all.
- 0:55Speaker 3: We're all a little bit of road people. What an
- 0:57Speaker 3: obstinate ball that was on Sunday night and Crow Park.
- 1:00Speaker 3: Great to be part of such an amazing event. I
- 1:03Speaker 3: meet so many Like I walked into the hotel and
- 1:06Speaker 3: I saw the queue of people trying to get in.
- 1:09Speaker 2: You're waiting to get in at four o'clock, and my
- 1:10Speaker 2: mind was genuinely blown.
- 1:12Speaker 3: I had no idea how big Steelers nation was in
- 1:14Speaker 3: Ireland and so just what a great night I wanted,
- 1:18Speaker 3: What a great weekend for football in Ireland. And huge
- 1:21Speaker 3: credit to the Steelers for pulling it off.
- 1:24Speaker 1: It's odd because like even though day have like just
- 1:28Speaker 1: going on what Jimmy said, like we obviously seen people
- 1:30Speaker 1: que up, none of us lads had seen the way
- 1:34Speaker 1: the room was going to look or anything, so like
- 1:36Speaker 1: I don't know, like I wanted him. It was like wow,
- 1:38Speaker 1: like this is nuts, Like it was just it was unreal.
- 1:41Speaker 1: It was obviously good. It was like the deal. I've
- 1:43Speaker 1: met Jimmy before a few times. No Jimmy, but Deal.
- 1:45Speaker 1: It was good to meet you in person as well.
- 1:48Speaker 1: And I can tell everybody on the podcast You've always
- 1:51Speaker 1: were in your element, David. It was a nice weekend.
- 1:54Speaker 1: You're back safe and signed was home though.
- 1:55Speaker 4: Yet back safe. I've never putting now, but I'd still
- 1:59Speaker 4: honestly robby and it was its just just everything Jimmy
- 2:03Speaker 4: said was an absolute experience and a half. You walked
- 2:06Speaker 4: into that room, you thought you were in a spaceship
- 2:08Speaker 4: with a Steeler spaceship or something like that.
- 2:09Speaker 1: It was actually it was unreal.
- 2:11Speaker 4: And I say, just even getting the meet you know,
- 2:13Speaker 4: down Rene and have a chat with him and you know,
- 2:15Speaker 4: getting the meat legends like Alan Fanaka and Santonio Holmes
- 2:20Speaker 4: as well, and as well, it's just having a wee
- 2:21Speaker 4: bit of a chat with the president of the GA
- 2:23Speaker 4: as well. Like I've I've done more in the past week,
- 2:26Speaker 4: over the past couple of days, and I've done an
- 2:28Speaker 4: entire life in terms of of like meeting people. So
- 2:30Speaker 4: I say, just getting the meet and chat with you
- 2:32Speaker 4: Steels flats as well, and getting to watch the game.
- 2:35Speaker 4: Obviously the result wasn't what we were wanted, but you know,
- 2:38Speaker 4: we're just reading a piece that Jimmy put up earlier
- 2:41Speaker 4: on and Gill a Gridiron he mentioned about like didn't
- 2:44Speaker 4: what not one bit did it actually said our spirits
- 2:48Speaker 4: at all. We just got all of it and you
- 2:50Speaker 4: know it was just sort of sort of something we
- 2:52Speaker 4: could celebrate and you know, as I said, it's it's
- 2:55Speaker 4: it's weird being back here still doesn't feel like it
- 2:57Speaker 4: actually happened. But yeah, it was an amazing now and
- 3:00Speaker 4: then it's it's one step, you know, closer to hopefully,
- 3:04Speaker 4: you know, a bigger one and sometime in the future.
- 3:07Speaker 4: So yeah, it was. It was amazing. And then obviously
- 3:09Speaker 4: getting to meet you buys for the first time in
- 3:11Speaker 4: person was great as well. So I can't wait to
- 3:14Speaker 4: get back over again, and hopefully it's not too long.
- 3:17Speaker 1: Nice weet picture of us as well to try and
- 3:19Speaker 1: get it on the artwork as the podcast at some point. Yeah,
- 3:21Speaker 1: I agree, it's goody Earlier on Jimmy the Jimmy just
- 3:26Speaker 1: just the weekend, I mean, I guess sort of for
- 3:27Speaker 1: people listening, maybe they weren't aware of some of the
- 3:30Speaker 1: things we're going before the event. And the Steelers came
- 3:33Speaker 1: over earlier in the week and they had the opportunity
- 3:35Speaker 1: to go to Crow Park to to sort of tour
- 3:38Speaker 1: Croup Park with Antonio Homes, Alan Fanica and the guys
- 3:41Speaker 1: obviously Don Rooney as well, and I know the guys
- 3:44Speaker 1: went to the Epic Museum to learn about their history
- 3:46Speaker 1: of their culture. And it's funny because like they've done
- 3:50Speaker 1: all serious amount of stuff in such a little time.
- 3:53Speaker 1: But I don't know, like I guess maybe it's just
- 3:56Speaker 1: because of where well just we're all we're like where
- 3:58Speaker 1: we are all from. But it was really really cool
- 4:01Speaker 1: to see. I was like, this is just like no
- 4:03Speaker 1: other team has this, and I think that doesn't make
- 4:05Speaker 1: this so special, you know.
- 4:06Speaker 3: Yeah, absolutely, I mean there you could it wasn't just
- 4:10Speaker 3: a you know, kind of a one stop event for them.
- 4:13Speaker 3: They were really committed to seeing the entirety of the Ireland,
- 4:17Speaker 3: the entirety of the island, even in the entirety of Ireland,
- 4:21Speaker 3: and you could there, I suppose you could their their
- 4:24Speaker 3: vision for Ireland showing through with their commitment to expanding
- 4:28Speaker 3: America's football here, you know, developing the youth aspect because
- 4:31Speaker 3: obviously that's going to be so important for America's football
- 4:34Speaker 3: and Ireland moving forward, is developed, is getting younger, younger
- 4:39Speaker 3: sports people into the game, but also in terms of
- 4:42Speaker 3: building a fan.
- 4:44Speaker 2: Base for the future.
- 4:45Speaker 3: You could really see that that was what they were
- 4:46Speaker 3: at a little bit and it was really kind of
- 4:50Speaker 3: a holistic trip for for for the entire organization, for
- 4:54Speaker 3: the two legends that came over, and you could see
- 4:57Speaker 3: that Antonio and Adam are really getting into the into
- 5:00Speaker 3: the ga, into the spirits and just an incredible, incredible
- 5:05Speaker 3: historic weekend for NFL in Ireland and look like like
- 5:09Speaker 3: we all kind of discussed Topefully it's it's not a
- 5:11Speaker 3: one off event.
- 5:12Speaker 2: I don't think it will be.
- 5:14Speaker 3: We can kind of see, you can kind of see
- 5:17Speaker 3: that the grendwork has now been laid for bigger, even
- 5:20Speaker 3: bigger and even better in events in the future, and
- 5:23Speaker 3: maybe even a couple outside of Dublin, you know, maybe
- 5:25Speaker 3: one down in Cork or or up in Belfast, just
- 5:27Speaker 3: to spread the Steelers love a little bit around Ireland
- 5:31Speaker 3: and great to.
- 5:32Speaker 1: See them and just just go north as well playing
- 5:35Speaker 1: We're all kind of down and seen it. And it
- 5:36Speaker 1: was actually on the day we're recording on the local
- 5:39Speaker 1: news as well, so it's just a little bit surreal
- 5:41Speaker 1: in a nice way. And the Jimmy's bang on, like
- 5:44Speaker 1: Alan felt like it was going around having the crack.
- 5:46Speaker 1: This this is the thing. Santonio and Alan were literally
- 5:48Speaker 1: walking around the place having the crack of people. I
- 5:51Speaker 1: think you don't see that in many fats, Like I've
- 5:53Speaker 1: been a different team fan events in the UK and
- 5:57Speaker 1: you don't see that that's not a knocko opportune teams
- 6:00Speaker 1: that it just seemed more personal. It was just good crack.
- 6:02Speaker 1: And I have to say, if folks on the podcast
- 6:04Speaker 1: people listening, these two guys are nuts, doesn't matter what
- 6:08Speaker 1: was happening during the game. That, like Jimmy, I've never
- 6:10Speaker 1: seen someone whos invested in the game my life man flying.
- 6:13Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean absolutely.
- 6:15Speaker 3: I mean it's like you said, they were just they
- 6:16Speaker 3: were just they were literally having the crack. They were
- 6:18Speaker 3: going around, they were interacting with fans. I went, I
- 6:21Speaker 3: went down to uh one of the the other parts
- 6:24Speaker 3: of the of the Gigantic room and crow Park, and
- 6:27Speaker 3: a spotted Santonio. I mean he was he was sitting
- 6:30Speaker 3: there eating, eating this village, chatting to fans. I mean,
- 6:33Speaker 3: just what two You couldn't ask for two more down
- 6:36Speaker 3: to earth guys. And it's like you said, Michael, sometimes
- 6:38Speaker 3: former players come to these events and they're they're working
- 6:41Speaker 3: for the team or they're contracted by the team, and
- 6:43Speaker 3: you know, they're on you know, they're they're not they're.
- 6:47Speaker 2: There, but they're not really there.
- 6:48Speaker 3: So these these you know, these two guys were affair
- 6:52Speaker 3: plated and they were just so patient and so engaging,
- 6:54Speaker 3: and like it really really added to the the overall
- 6:57Speaker 3: experience I think for fans just to be able to
- 6:59Speaker 3: interact with their heroes, you know, the.
- 7:02Speaker 1: Idea of I've cut you off there, but feel free
- 7:05Speaker 1: to give you a shot as well. That did Alanders
- 7:07Speaker 1: or Antonio sit time besides you at any point there?
- 7:10Speaker 4: I was I was just about to say every time,
- 7:11Speaker 4: you know, I sort of scanned the room and I say,
- 7:13Speaker 4: it's hard to miss Allen because he's such a big guy.
- 7:15Speaker 4: But every time you seen him, and he had a
- 7:17Speaker 4: pint of guinness in his hand, he was chatting away
- 7:19Speaker 4: at the fans, you know, he was. He was just
- 7:20Speaker 4: loving it. And Santonio is just as as Jimmy said
- 7:25Speaker 4: and with I think a lot of the chat about
- 7:28Speaker 4: Santonio was obviously the Super Bowl catch, you know, back
- 7:32Speaker 4: in two thousand and nine, and I think obviously we
- 7:35Speaker 4: had fans from all over the place and there was
- 7:37Speaker 4: there was a few card those fans sort of you know,
- 7:40Speaker 4: crabbed him saying, oh why did you do it? And
- 7:42Speaker 4: Santonio was just proven, well, look I had.
- 7:43Speaker 5: To do it.
- 7:44Speaker 4: I'm a Steelers guy. So it was just it was
- 7:46Speaker 4: it was so surreal and just being in that sort
- 7:48Speaker 4: of in that room with so many stars and as
- 7:51Speaker 4: he said, with some of our stars you got to
- 7:53Speaker 4: get up on stage and chat with it and oche
- 7:55Speaker 4: you know, who's a massive, you know icon over here.
- 7:58Speaker 4: And it was just as just said, it was just
- 8:00Speaker 4: one of those things where it still doesn't it still
- 8:04Speaker 4: doesn't seem real for some reason. But as I said,
- 8:07Speaker 4: pinch me moment and getting the speak with them two
- 8:09Speaker 4: you know Steelers legends, you know Hall of Famer like
- 8:13Speaker 4: Alfanaga and you know Surefire Hall of Fame and Santonio
- 8:16Speaker 4: Home sopefully and it's just one of those things where
- 8:18Speaker 4: it's it's bizarre. But it was just such a great
- 8:22Speaker 4: honor and actually getting chat one.
- 8:23Speaker 1: You know, I loved it, And you know, I'll say
- 8:28Speaker 1: it because I said to the people, like I've been
- 8:30Speaker 1: looking up to go like super Bowls and stuff like that,
- 8:32Speaker 1: with that meant as much, if not more. I loved that. Yeah,
- 8:35Speaker 1: the fact it was at home, you know, it was unreal.
- 8:38Speaker 2: It was.
- 8:39Speaker 3: It was really I mean from the moment you walked
- 8:41Speaker 3: in you could see that they had gone all out.
- 8:43Speaker 3: I mean you literally were walking in the entrance hall
- 8:46Speaker 3: and you may as well have been in Pittsburgh. I mean,
- 8:48Speaker 3: it was black and gold everywhere, and there was a
- 8:51Speaker 3: couple of nice touches as well. The way the pregame,
- 8:53Speaker 3: they had a couple of shoutouts from from players on team.
- 8:56Speaker 3: You know, Pat Fryarmu did his shout out and I
- 8:58Speaker 3: think jenn and Warren did his shout out. And the
- 9:00Speaker 3: fact that you know, there was there was the fact
- 9:03Speaker 3: that it was broadcast to Steeters fans in America as well,
- 9:06Speaker 3: but that they were able to see that, you know,
- 9:10Speaker 3: the passion and love for it for Stee that's you
- 9:13Speaker 3: know that Steel Nation have in Ireland. So just from
- 9:16Speaker 3: started Thinnish, just an absolutely brilliant evening and like like
- 9:20Speaker 3: Dave said, I mean, I I still don't I still
- 9:22Speaker 3: can't believe it's over. I wish we could do it
- 9:25Speaker 3: every weekend, do you answer, I don't think you would
- 9:27Speaker 3: get any less one if we did every weekend during
- 9:30Speaker 3: the season. There it might be, we might be we
- 9:33Speaker 3: might be Rex, absolutely Rex, we couldn't do that level
- 9:36Speaker 3: of party and every weekend.
- 9:37Speaker 2: I certainly couldn't anyway, but not just like what an
- 9:42Speaker 2: absolute ball we all had.
- 9:43Speaker 4: You know, I'll just I'll jump in here. I used
- 9:46Speaker 4: to sort of take the pest to go on that
- 9:49Speaker 4: I used to get all graphs and start of this show.
- 9:51Speaker 4: And now that I've done a sort of short stint
- 9:53Speaker 4: on CPS in America like them are flooded with fable
- 9:56Speaker 4: look and autographs. Is crazy, Like you know, the fact
- 9:58Speaker 4: that I was actually.
- 9:59Speaker 5: I was are real, It's crazy.
- 10:02Speaker 1: We were all sitting there watching that. It's like, oh
- 10:04Speaker 1: my god, you know amazing.
- 10:07Speaker 4: It's just that hard at the words.
- 10:09Speaker 2: But yeah, we should give it.
- 10:11Speaker 3: We should give a shout out day to to our
- 10:13Speaker 3: two fans. He came out to us looking for our
- 10:15Speaker 3: picture afterwards. I mean, that's it's not every day you
- 10:17Speaker 3: get that happening. So up and Dave might be getting
- 10:20Speaker 3: a big head over here over here, but look, honestly,
- 10:23Speaker 3: like just to everyone who does listen to the podcast,
- 10:26Speaker 3: where you appreciate your support, and it was great to
- 10:28Speaker 3: meet some of you on on Sunday night. And hopefully
- 10:31Speaker 3: it's not the last time that we that we get
- 10:33Speaker 3: to engage with with with Steeters Nation in Ireland.
- 10:37Speaker 1: I guess I guess the one thing I'll say, I'm
- 10:38Speaker 1: sure we'll keep Rafferens on this for the rest of
- 10:40Speaker 1: the year at least. Is just the thanks to the team,
- 10:43Speaker 1: just the thanks for the theaters for first off, this podcast,
- 10:46Speaker 1: but more so like that event was just it's incredible
- 10:50Speaker 1: when when you know you've people like I've been talking
- 10:53Speaker 1: to people this week, aren't even at Alphons have mentioned
- 10:55Speaker 1: and you're like, right, this has clearly made a big
- 10:57Speaker 1: impact and we we we've seen it. So I think,
- 11:00Speaker 1: you know, we've talked for ten and fifteen of the
- 11:02Speaker 1: minutes that we haven't even managed. The camp on Saturday
- 11:04Speaker 1: that was great crack as well. There was just so
- 11:06Speaker 1: much of going on and props to them, and as
- 11:09Speaker 1: he said at the end of thing, Dan said it
- 11:10Speaker 1: towards the end, it's the first you know, watch this space.
- 11:14Speaker 1: There's more to come. So very excited for it, boys,
- 11:18Speaker 1: and no doubt we'll all meet each other again very soon.
- 11:22Speaker 1: Let's talk about the game. It look, it wasn't the
- 11:25Speaker 1: best game. Let's just put it out there. Staeters, I
- 11:28Speaker 1: think you know, look, I think I think all of
- 11:29Speaker 1: us wanted to get a win after that and you know,
- 11:31Speaker 1: to move to to move to seven or three in
- 11:33Speaker 1: the season, and Jimmy, it just it didn't happen. Man,
- 11:36Speaker 1: that was like the only thing I would yeah, from
- 11:40Speaker 1: Sunday was the game. And we will talk about obviously
- 11:43Speaker 1: the firing of my Canada in a few moments. But
- 11:45Speaker 1: I guess sort of standing on the game for a second,
- 11:50Speaker 1: it's sort of six and one happens, and the other
- 11:51Speaker 1: sem sort of thing. Couldn't get the ball down the
- 11:53Speaker 1: field with Kenny, Like there was the sort of the
- 11:56Speaker 1: efficiency in the run game of Jaalen. Now she had
- 11:59Speaker 1: a couple of situations where he got the ball, but
- 12:00Speaker 1: he wasn't that efficient with it or really really led
- 12:03Speaker 1: the team.
- 12:05Speaker 5: And there was that bit of it.
- 12:07Speaker 1: There was that bit of inconsistency to an extent big
- 12:10Speaker 1: time on the offense because you really really felt that
- 12:12Speaker 1: if that defense can hold the Browns to thirteen points
- 12:17Speaker 1: with them with mink and not even on the field,
- 12:20Speaker 1: you think to yourself, well, should have won the game.
- 12:23Speaker 1: It feel it feels like I missed opportunity. But we'll
- 12:26Speaker 1: we'll obviously talk about the firing and in a few
- 12:29Speaker 1: minutes and look, the team will go against six and
- 12:32Speaker 1: four the season, so like obviously like there's a lot
- 12:35Speaker 1: of things to improve.
- 12:36Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, it's like Magie Harris said out after
- 12:39Speaker 3: the game. You can look at it two ways. You
- 12:41Speaker 3: could say, oh, we're six and four. You know, we're
- 12:43Speaker 3: still okay, we still have a chance. So you could
- 12:45Speaker 3: say we're six and four, what the hell is kind
- 12:47Speaker 3: of going on here?
- 12:48Speaker 2: And I think I think you're right.
- 12:49Speaker 3: I mean that was like I think the offensive issues
- 12:53Speaker 3: came to a head on Sunday night, where it was
- 12:55Speaker 3: just how poor they were and how ineffishing they were.
- 12:58Speaker 3: I mean, Kenny Okay rug with with inconsistency on passes
- 13:02Speaker 3: this year, but he was like he was flat out
- 13:05Speaker 3: unable to connect with receivers on Sunday night. And then
- 13:08Speaker 3: when you had the run game basically getting stimmy apart
- 13:12Speaker 3: from you know, the fantastic, fantastic performances Jenleen Martin hadwy
- 13:16Speaker 3: it was just you could see that though they completely
- 13:19Speaker 3: took away the passing dimension of the game, and.
- 13:21Speaker 2: That put us in a bit of a all.
- 13:24Speaker 3: So, yeah, like it was tough to watch. Me fair
- 13:26Speaker 3: played at the defense they did. We I mean, we
- 13:28Speaker 3: knew it was going to be a tight, low scoring game.
- 13:31Speaker 3: It typically is with the Browns, but when you have
- 13:34Speaker 3: a backup quarterback that you're playing against you have to
- 13:37Speaker 3: be able to capitalize that. I think that's the Steelers
- 13:40Speaker 3: failed to capitalize on the opportunity on Sunday night, and obviously.
- 13:44Speaker 2: We saw the results. We saw the results.
- 13:46Speaker 3: Yesterday, and look, I don't think any of us are surprised,
- 13:49Speaker 3: and I think it was a long time coming. I
- 13:52Speaker 3: think something drastic had to happen to try and Savage
- 13:55Speaker 3: this season. I'm beginning to regret a little bit my
- 13:58Speaker 3: recent Boll prediction about aput AC championship games, so let's
- 14:03Speaker 3: let's not.
- 14:04Speaker 2: Do it on that anymore.
- 14:05Speaker 3: But overall, I mean, look, the one bryce back was
- 14:08Speaker 3: Jenny Warren on his He's fantastic with seventy four yard
- 14:12Speaker 3: touchdown Russia, I believe, and that that was the alone
- 14:16Speaker 3: bright spot in that game. That there was an interception
- 14:19Speaker 3: of course on defense like there like defense is consistent,
- 14:23Speaker 3: but something something had to happen on offense, and I
- 14:26Speaker 3: think we saw that with the with the with my
- 14:28Speaker 3: Canada being met Co during the week.
- 14:32Speaker 1: Just to jump on Jimmy's point there did when the
- 14:35Speaker 1: touchdown did have an all of this, I was like,
- 14:38Speaker 1: we're winning the game. Yeah, seventeen ten, seventeen thirteen. It
- 14:43Speaker 1: didn't happen. And let's talk about the fire in the
- 14:46Speaker 1: second just from the game you've seen yourself. It was
- 14:49Speaker 1: disappointment on like you know, just because you sort of
- 14:51Speaker 1: felt like water two scores, one or two things to
- 14:54Speaker 1: go your way and that's all you needed in this game.
- 14:56Speaker 1: But it just didn't hap them on. And we've seen
- 14:58Speaker 1: this sort of the fallout from.
- 14:59Speaker 4: Last Yeah, and you know that the Jailen Warren has.
- 15:03Speaker 4: Even at the sort of the start, it was a bit.
- 15:06Speaker 4: We were very sluggish out of the blocks, as we're expected.
- 15:08Speaker 4: You know, let's you have to give credit our credit
- 15:10Speaker 4: as due that their defense is it's the best statistically,
- 15:14Speaker 4: the best unit in the league this year, and it was.
- 15:19Speaker 4: It was a very slow start. But that jale and
- 15:21Speaker 4: Warrens touchdown, he sort of sparked us in the life.
- 15:23Speaker 4: And honestly, I think we managed to turn the ball
- 15:26Speaker 4: over in the fourth quarter. I think with that without
- 15:27Speaker 4: interception my fault, we were surely going to win it. Here,
- 15:30Speaker 4: just get a field goal and that will be enough.
- 15:32Speaker 4: But it just didn't work out, like God, Just as
- 15:35Speaker 4: Jimmy said, you know, there was a few times on
- 15:38Speaker 4: on Sunday where honestly I thought we could have been
- 15:41Speaker 4: done for entire style ground and Kenny was just throwing
- 15:43Speaker 4: it to particularly absolutely known and wide open spaces and
- 15:46Speaker 4: it just it just didn't look to be on the
- 15:48Speaker 4: same pages with his with his receivers at all. But
- 15:52Speaker 4: as you know, if if we can just sort of
- 15:54Speaker 4: lie on that about Jail Warren, he's just proven to
- 15:56Speaker 4: be an absolute if there is going to be a
- 15:58Speaker 4: positive out of this season, so on the all satsive
- 16:00Speaker 4: side of the ball has to be Jail and Warren.
- 16:02Speaker 4: I mean, he's just been I think he was was
- 16:05Speaker 4: he the best or he was the best running back
- 16:07Speaker 4: in the league on Sunday, Like, I know that's obviously
- 16:10Speaker 4: not something to shout about, but at the same time,
- 16:12Speaker 4: like it's just proven to be someone we can rely on.
- 16:16Speaker 4: And I think he has to be running back number
- 16:17Speaker 4: one going forward without without a shadow, and it doubts
- 16:20Speaker 4: and then you know, it just didn't work out the
- 16:22Speaker 4: way we wanted. But as I say, you know, we
- 16:24Speaker 4: didn't let us sort of doubt on our spirits. You
- 16:26Speaker 4: know it it was just such a moment as occasion
- 16:28Speaker 4: and as Jimmy said about you know the far and stuff,
- 16:32Speaker 4: I said, probably was probably was a long time common.
- 16:35Speaker 4: But at the same time, now it gives us a
- 16:37Speaker 4: chance to reset, and it gives us, you know, a
- 16:39Speaker 4: clean slate, and now we can go in against the
- 16:41Speaker 4: Bengals and Sunday against the backup quarterback and hopefully we
- 16:45Speaker 4: can obviously put things right. And that's hopefully what we
- 16:48Speaker 4: can do.
- 16:49Speaker 5: Bill.
- 16:49Speaker 3: There's still time to say the season. I mean, we
- 16:52Speaker 3: still have a winning record. We're still in the last
- 16:55Speaker 3: seed currently in the AFC. So if we can right
- 16:59Speaker 3: the ship, if somebody can take somebody can get Kenny Wright,
- 17:05Speaker 3: you know, not have the offense be as predictable as
- 17:08Speaker 3: it has been. I mean, you know, we were sitting
- 17:12Speaker 3: beside Twist on Sunday night and he was calming the
- 17:14Speaker 3: plays before they even happened.
- 17:15Speaker 2: So but though I think that they're this this this
- 17:20Speaker 2: is a good thing.
- 17:21Speaker 3: I mean, this gives us a chance to to go
- 17:23Speaker 3: and play against the Bengals and hopefully, you know, since
- 17:27Speaker 3: or clinch some sort.
- 17:28Speaker 2: Of playoff spot in in.
- 17:30Speaker 3: I mean it's December and next week, boys are in
- 17:32Speaker 3: like ten days time. It's getting down, it's getting down
- 17:36Speaker 3: the stretch. We'll be we'll be sitting down in about
- 17:39Speaker 3: four and a half weeks time watching the Bengals and
- 17:42Speaker 3: on December twenty thirds and now at least I will
- 17:45Speaker 3: be anyway. So yeah, no, I think it's it's time,
- 17:48Speaker 3: that it's it's business time. It's getting in the stretch.
- 17:50Speaker 3: So let's let's yeah, let's just support the boys as
- 17:54Speaker 3: best we can for the remainder of the season.
- 17:57Speaker 1: And Jeff Ryanbole talks about this time. He talks about
- 18:00Speaker 1: this time of the year is when you get your
- 18:01Speaker 1: knives out for turkey starting that that's when it starts
- 18:04Speaker 1: getting business. I'm gonna hopefully get Jeff on the wallet.
- 18:07Speaker 1: I've been leaving this until big part of the season,
- 18:09Speaker 1: maybe trying to get them one before that Bengals game.
- 18:12Speaker 1: And I know that Owen Murphy seems to be very
- 18:14Speaker 1: happy to get on for the Ravens game, so that
- 18:16Speaker 1: could come up in the next few weeks. Shout out
- 18:18Speaker 1: to Owen who did text on Monday saying it looked
- 18:22Speaker 1: unbelievable and he's a massive Ravens fans of fair play
- 18:24Speaker 1: at him. Look, lad's I concur with everythings are saying,
- 18:29Speaker 1: and like, look before we go into the fire, and
- 18:31Speaker 1: let's hear from Kenny let's let's hear from TJ just
- 18:33Speaker 1: in terms of what they thought about the game. I'm
- 18:35Speaker 1: gonna go from.
- 18:35Speaker 6: There, Mike said, So the first couple of drives from
- 18:43Speaker 6: the communications of the struggles out top from most to
- 18:48Speaker 6: especially give them the environment to get guys said, and
- 18:50Speaker 6: you had to do guys at different places, and you
- 18:52Speaker 6: feel like things settled.
- 18:53Speaker 1: Down after that.
- 18:54Speaker 7: Yeah, it just took us too long to settle down
- 18:55Speaker 7: today once we did it, so like we handled the
- 18:57Speaker 7: run pretty well and uh, we're able to make plays,
- 19:00Speaker 7: but it just took too long to settle in.
- 19:03Speaker 3: DJ, what were you able to see from Michael Walker's
- 19:06Speaker 3: it's first.
- 19:06Speaker 7: Game up with you guys, I mean, I thought you
- 19:09Speaker 7: did some good things.
- 19:09Speaker 5: It's too early.
- 19:10Speaker 7: I don't really I'm not able to analyze anyone's play
- 19:12Speaker 7: right now. I only know we're just transpired for myself,
- 19:16Speaker 7: so I'll have to look back at the phone see
- 19:17Speaker 7: how it went. But overall, LA, I mean, we held
- 19:19Speaker 7: them under a hundred yards rushing, which is a goal.
- 19:22Speaker 7: But we still need to find ways to create more splash,
- 19:24Speaker 7: get off the field quicker, and provide better field position
- 19:28Speaker 7: for offense. Anything between the first half and the second
- 19:32Speaker 7: half that you guys did obviously a lot more effective
- 19:35Speaker 7: at everything. I think it was just continuing to hone
- 19:38Speaker 7: in the communication. When you have that many new guys,
- 19:41Speaker 7: it's just a matter of calming down and just getting
- 19:44Speaker 7: in the rhythm of the game. And like I said,
- 19:46Speaker 7: I think it just took us too long to get
- 19:47Speaker 7: into the rhythm. But once we did, we were able
- 19:50Speaker 7: to play relatively effective football. Obviously not enough.
- 19:53Speaker 6: It seemed like they were trying pretty hard to not
- 19:56Speaker 6: put their workie quarterback into tough situations. Is that frustrating
- 20:01Speaker 6: when it seems like the ball is out quick a
- 20:03Speaker 6: lot of them gain.
- 20:04Speaker 7: Yeah, we have to stop. I mean, if he's able
- 20:07Speaker 7: to just convert five yard throws all day, that's an
- 20:09Speaker 7: issue as well. So teams have been doing that this season.
- 20:14Speaker 7: It's just a matter of stopping it so they're not
- 20:16Speaker 7: able to continue to do it.
- 20:22Speaker 3: In the last series, the three out of miscommunication with
- 20:26Speaker 3: DJ old people.
- 20:28Speaker 8: Yeah, you got a couple miscommunications. You know, something that
- 20:30Speaker 8: can't happen. We got to get it ironed out, obviously,
- 20:33Speaker 8: especially in a moment like that. We had some earlier
- 20:35Speaker 8: in the game.
- 20:37Speaker 2: That's this late in the year. Let's come up. So
- 20:40Speaker 2: it's a little concerning that it's this late.
- 20:42Speaker 5: In the year. It's always concerning whenever it comes up.
- 20:44Speaker 5: You don't want to have that. You know, we just
- 20:46Speaker 5: got to get it worked out.
- 20:48Speaker 2: Hey, what's the confidence love with yourself right now?
- 20:50Speaker 8: Always confident myself. It's an ultimate team game. We got
- 20:53Speaker 8: to come together and figure this thing out.
- 20:56Speaker 2: What do you feel like was going was missing?
- 20:59Speaker 6: Especially early the gither had had had.
- 21:01Speaker 1: In the last couple of weeks.
- 21:02Speaker 5: You know, some chunk plays to help us flip the field.
- 21:05Speaker 8: You know, we need to stay on the field, be
- 21:06Speaker 8: better and third down, but chump plays definitely helped there.
- 21:09Speaker 1: One of the miss throws you had, it was an overthrow,
- 21:11Speaker 1: especially to the anti. Is that a miscommunication on the router?
- 21:14Speaker 6: Was it something the grounds were doing defensively?
- 21:16Speaker 1: That was?
- 21:17Speaker 5: Yeah, miscommunication?
- 21:18Speaker 1: The route, the plan not to take very many deep shots.
- 21:22Speaker 5: You know, the plan was they play a lot of
- 21:24Speaker 5: man and man.
- 21:24Speaker 8: They didn't play a lot of men of men today,
- 21:26Speaker 8: so they threw you know, a lot of zone looks
- 21:27Speaker 8: at us, different zone looks.
- 21:29Speaker 5: We were expecting them to come in and play man.
- 21:30Speaker 5: You know, we had to just better.
- 21:32Speaker 6: I know, you weren't getting chunk plays in the past game.
- 21:34Speaker 2: But Davin Moren was giving you some chunk plays.
- 21:36Speaker 7: I mean, what, you know, how.
- 21:38Speaker 2: Much do you need to want to get the ball past?
- 21:40Speaker 8: Yeah, we need to continue to get to them, whether
- 21:42Speaker 8: it's a past game, the run game. You know, the
- 21:44Speaker 8: guy always makes plays. So it's awesome to have thirty
- 21:46Speaker 8: in the backfield.
- 21:49Speaker 1: Staters obviously the big story off to this watch party
- 21:53Speaker 1: for us. Off to the game was a little bit
- 21:54Speaker 1: for us, Jimmy, it's been the Staters firing offensive coordinator
- 21:57Speaker 1: by Kanada and to be the storyline for a few
- 22:01Speaker 1: weeks in terms of how the offense is playing. To say,
- 22:03Speaker 1: to say the least, you know, it's been. It's been
- 22:05Speaker 1: a talking point and I think it's the first time
- 22:07Speaker 1: the Staelers have made a move in the house since
- 22:10Speaker 1: nineteen forty one, which shows you sort of the significance
- 22:13Speaker 1: of the moment for the team, I guess just sort
- 22:16Speaker 1: of your faults and up. But also it feels like
- 22:19Speaker 1: a massive two or three weeks now for Kenny Pickett
- 22:21Speaker 1: as he tries to learn under a new OC. It's
- 22:24Speaker 1: temp ReOC in the sense of it's reset a little
- 22:28Speaker 1: bit for this offense. And go from there.
- 22:29Speaker 3: You know, yeah, I don't think it's gonna be a
- 22:33Speaker 3: massive I don't think they're gonna do it. I mean,
- 22:35Speaker 3: obviously it had to happen, right, something drastic had to
- 22:37Speaker 3: happen in order to savage the season. There's only so
- 22:41Speaker 3: much covering that to Mike Tomlin could do for MAK
- 22:44Speaker 3: Canada and just the absolute mediocrity to the offense has
- 22:48Speaker 3: displayed this season so far. So obviously, you know, like
- 22:52Speaker 3: I said, something drastic and that was m Canada been
- 22:54Speaker 3: let go. But I don't think a huge amount is
- 22:57Speaker 3: going to change, and you can't really completely hit the
- 22:59Speaker 3: reset button in the middle of the season. I think
- 23:01Speaker 3: what needs to happen is just more creativity with the
- 23:04Speaker 3: play calling and trying to get our receivers open somehow.
- 23:09Speaker 3: I mean, Deanton Johnson came back and he was fantastic,
- 23:12Speaker 3: but neither himself or or pickings or anywhere to be
- 23:14Speaker 3: seen in terms of receptions or big plays on Sunday Night.
- 23:18Speaker 3: So I think it's gonna try. I think I think
- 23:20Speaker 3: a more balanced.
- 23:20Speaker 2: Approach that the offense is needed.
- 23:22Speaker 3: I think we have to use the running game to
- 23:24Speaker 3: open the passing game, because as you see when when
- 23:26Speaker 3: we just rely on the running game, we we typically
- 23:29Speaker 3: typically get shut down because teams know that our run
- 23:32Speaker 3: is coming. So I think between the between Mike Sullivan,
- 23:36Speaker 3: who will be will handle up the the play calling duties,
- 23:40Speaker 3: and I believe our running backs coach, coach Faulkner is
- 23:43Speaker 3: going to be offense organizing the logistics side of it. Yeah,
- 23:49Speaker 3: hopefully they can. They can get something done and jump
- 23:51Speaker 3: start the offense before it's too late.
- 23:54Speaker 1: I have listened to a bit of ball that I
- 23:57Speaker 1: love Brian Ballinger, and he was saying, you know, just
- 23:59Speaker 1: in terms of kind of the look at the run game,
- 24:02Speaker 1: it's so good. So I feel it from a bit,
- 24:07Speaker 1: but I can I can understand the move. It's as
- 24:09Speaker 1: Jimmy said, it's it's time trying to save this season.
- 24:12Speaker 1: Do you feel that guys splitting the UC job can
- 24:17Speaker 1: come in and change. Can he Pickett and the way
- 24:20Speaker 1: that he plays in such a short period of time,
- 24:24Speaker 1: Because that's that's gonna be the biggest question mark. And
- 24:26Speaker 1: you're going into a game against a Banngals team, but
- 24:28Speaker 1: we don't really know what we're going to see from
- 24:30Speaker 1: the offensive. Black on the Sunday.
- 24:33Speaker 5: To be honest, like.
- 24:34Speaker 4: I think we're we're we'd be very naive to think
- 24:37Speaker 4: that everything's just going to change with a with a
- 24:40Speaker 4: coaching change. And I'll just say, you know, this is
- 24:42Speaker 4: the first time we've done it, and what is it,
- 24:45Speaker 4: like eighty years something like that we've ever done in
- 24:47Speaker 4: season coaching change. So shows you sort of what sort
- 24:50Speaker 4: of organization we are. We think very hard about, you know,
- 24:53Speaker 4: what we what we tend to sort of do like
- 24:57Speaker 4: between the week one and putting in week seventaine.
- 24:59Speaker 2: So it's it's bright.
- 25:01Speaker 4: It would be naive they just think we're going to
- 25:03Speaker 4: change everything, Like the offense still has a lot, a
- 25:06Speaker 4: lot of work to do and it's not going to
- 25:07Speaker 4: change all in one week. But at the same time,
- 25:10Speaker 4: hopefully now with this change that Kenny will now sort
- 25:14Speaker 4: of see have a bit more fluids, you know, throwing
- 25:17Speaker 4: the ball. As I say, you know, the run game
- 25:19Speaker 4: at started the season it was very you know, hit
- 25:22Speaker 4: and miss, and now it's our best it's our best
- 25:24Speaker 4: to put like, it's our best sort of component, you know,
- 25:27Speaker 4: on our offense. So as I say, you know, a
- 25:31Speaker 4: change probably was coming, like I mentioned it on the
- 25:33Speaker 4: on the podcast, a couple of weeks ago. Every other
- 25:35Speaker 4: thirty one dollar teams in the league have had a
- 25:38Speaker 4: four hundred yard game. I've had at least two. Insteaders
- 25:41Speaker 4: haven't had any since Matt Canada was hard. So you know,
- 25:44Speaker 4: the sort of starts picking themselves and that something had
- 25:46Speaker 4: to change. So I think we would be naive to
- 25:48Speaker 4: think it's going to change all in one week. But
- 25:50Speaker 4: at the same time, it's fresh start, and you know,
- 25:52Speaker 4: it gives us something to sort of salvage season. Like
- 25:55Speaker 4: I said, you know, we've got the Bengals this weekend,
- 25:57Speaker 4: Joe burrows out for the season, and and it's a
- 26:01Speaker 4: good opportunity to short of pop things.
- 26:02Speaker 1: Right, Let's look into that game. D it just starting me?
- 26:06Speaker 1: You made this weekend obviously going up against the Bengals,
- 26:09Speaker 1: and for the Steelers themselves losing last week against the Browns.
- 26:15Speaker 1: I guess the key is just different on that offense.
- 26:18Speaker 1: Get to twenty five, get to thirty points against the
- 26:21Speaker 1: Bengals team that are going to be lack of confidence
- 26:23Speaker 1: with that backup. I mean, for me, I want to
- 26:27Speaker 1: see an offense going out with a bit more confidence,
- 26:29Speaker 1: a bit more sort of pull down the field. Yes,
- 26:31Speaker 1: it's great to have a good run game. But you
- 26:33Speaker 1: want to have that confidence when you're looking at Kenny
- 26:36Speaker 1: that you feel like he can wing it down the
- 26:37Speaker 1: field or even he doesn't have to do that, even
- 26:39Speaker 1: get ten fifteen, twenty twenty five yard players down the field,
- 26:43Speaker 1: and look, it's not just on him. I watched Monday
- 26:47Speaker 1: Light football the day after the Steelers Browns game in Dublin.
- 26:51Speaker 1: I was watching the Eagles against the Chiefs. There was
- 26:52Speaker 1: times when you've seen Patrick Mahomes, for goodness sake, struggle
- 26:55Speaker 1: getting it down the field. Certain receivers, even Travis Kelsey struggled.
- 26:58Speaker 1: So it happens every order back. Hopefully this week, Dave,
- 27:02Speaker 1: is the week that we see it. I just what
- 27:04Speaker 1: are your thoughts, as we said sort of midweek ahead
- 27:06Speaker 1: of this Bengals game.
- 27:08Speaker 4: You your spot on there. Like with Kenny Pickett, you know,
- 27:12Speaker 4: Kenny Pickett seems to be taking most of the blame
- 27:14Speaker 4: here and it doesn't surprise it because it's sort of
- 27:16Speaker 4: the leaser leadership and tangibiles he has. At the same time,
- 27:19Speaker 4: the receivers have got to get opened, and you know,
- 27:22Speaker 4: if they reopened, Kenny's going to hit them. And as
- 27:24Speaker 4: I say, we're not asking for. We're not asked for
- 27:26Speaker 4: much here. We're not asking you they'll be thrown eighty
- 27:29Speaker 4: eighty r bombs down the sideline in for touchdowns and stuff.
- 27:31Speaker 4: That's not what we're asking just asked for. You know,
- 27:34Speaker 4: your typical yourself, the Kenny we were getting in the
- 27:37Speaker 4: start of the season that was hitting his receivers, who
- 27:39Speaker 4: wasn't turning the ball over. That's really all we're asking for.
- 27:42Speaker 4: And realistically, if we can put that together against the
- 27:45Speaker 4: Bengals team without Joe Burrow, then I think we shouldn't
- 27:48Speaker 4: have a problem. So as say, the wrong game the defense,
- 27:52Speaker 4: if they can continue to step up and obviously just
- 27:54Speaker 4: get that passing game and another sort of laying. This week,
- 27:57Speaker 4: we're not We're not facing the best defense from the
- 28:00Speaker 4: league this week. We're facing the Bengals team that isn't great.
- 28:02Speaker 4: So let's just go out and have fun and hopefully,
- 28:04Speaker 4: fingers crossed, we're going to come out with a win
- 28:06Speaker 4: on the end.
- 28:09Speaker 1: Jim Me, you were very vocal in terms of your
- 28:11Speaker 1: confidence pre last week and I love it. Continue to
- 28:14Speaker 1: bring it, man, are you still very confident? Like, look,
- 28:19Speaker 1: one loss is one loss. This team is still at
- 28:21Speaker 1: a lot going for the special the defense side of
- 28:23Speaker 1: the ball.
- 28:24Speaker 2: Yeah, I think it was the nature of the loss
- 28:26Speaker 2: make the kind of plated me in a little bit.
- 28:29Speaker 2: I mean, Sunday it was.
- 28:31Speaker 3: It was so bad, like if we were sitting there
- 28:33Speaker 3: with our head in our hands, going what is going
- 28:34Speaker 3: on here? So I think with the with the firing
- 28:38Speaker 3: of Matt Canada, I think, I mean, we always see
- 28:41Speaker 3: it in the NFL, right, A starting cornerback gets injured,
- 28:44Speaker 3: the backup comes in, and the backup has a fantastic game,
- 28:48Speaker 3: and everyone is lifted up and everyone kind of rides
- 28:50Speaker 3: a wave of positivity and change. And I think we're
- 28:53Speaker 3: going to see a similar effect or a similar at
- 28:56Speaker 3: least I hope we are with with a new offensive coordinator,
- 28:59Speaker 3: not necessarily change offensive scheme. I think it'll be tweaked
- 29:03Speaker 3: to open up more opportunities for for the big plays
- 29:06Speaker 3: that we're that we're lacking on offense, and you know,
- 29:09Speaker 3: some I think that's that's what we need, is we
- 29:11Speaker 3: need more consistency, more kind of like they says, fifteen
- 29:15Speaker 3: twenty twenty five year completions, those kind of chunk plays.
- 29:18Speaker 3: I mean, that's I think that's that's all. That's all
- 29:20Speaker 3: we need to to be competitive, of course, to open
- 29:23Speaker 3: up the passing game. I mean, we have two of
- 29:25Speaker 3: the best receivers in the league and Deandon Johnson and
- 29:28Speaker 3: George Pickens, and they're not being utilized at all as
- 29:31Speaker 3: much as they should be. So let's rectify that. But
- 29:34Speaker 3: let's get some balance and offense. And look, let's let's
- 29:38Speaker 3: see if let's see if the change in coaching in
- 29:42Speaker 3: coordinators has any sort of effect.
- 29:46Speaker 1: Yam is in Cincinnati this weekend and I'll have to say, boys,
- 29:50Speaker 1: while it's on at a nice time for us, it's
- 29:52Speaker 1: on in the early window, six o'clock window. Win Ireland.
- 29:54Speaker 1: Love to see if Thanks Given this year just you know,
- 29:57Speaker 1: Thursday night, do you like do you do you feel
- 29:59Speaker 1: like the players I think do you think it's an
- 30:01Speaker 1: issue for them sitting on Thursday itching to get on
- 30:04Speaker 1: the field, or do you think give them a bit
- 30:05Speaker 1: of a break for a few days, because I'd love
- 30:07Speaker 1: to see him like go up against the Dallas or
- 30:09Speaker 1: Detroit on Thanksgiving, regardless of what happened last week.
- 30:12Speaker 4: When yeah, I know it's one of those where you know,
- 30:16Speaker 4: we get to actually watch this Thanksgiving game pretty early on.
- 30:19Speaker 4: You know, we got the two early ones and then
- 30:21Speaker 4: the one late one. I think what was it the
- 30:22Speaker 4: last time we played and Thanksgiving we went down to
- 30:26Speaker 4: Detroit and we actually beat them. I'm pretty sure it
- 30:28Speaker 4: was that we had the killer Bees. And that's sort
- 30:30Speaker 4: of given me flashbacks of, you know, pure joy. But
- 30:32Speaker 4: at the same time, yet, I said, the players aren't
- 30:35Speaker 4: probably buzzing to be playing on Thanksgiving. They'll probably rather
- 30:37Speaker 4: be home with their families. But at the same time,
- 30:39Speaker 4: you know, it's it's another week in the NFL, and
- 30:41Speaker 4: you've got to show up, no matter if you're playing
- 30:43Speaker 4: our Sunday and Monday or Thursday. So it's it's one
- 30:46Speaker 4: of those. And obviously anybody listening in the US, you know,
- 30:48Speaker 4: happy Thanksgiving, and you know we might have a turkey
- 30:50Speaker 4: missaff I'll have to wait and see.
- 30:55Speaker 1: Well, at the time of recording, you can listen to
- 30:58Speaker 1: the Bengals against the Steelers on Sunday on OTV Radio
- 31:02Speaker 1: Off the Ball. You can also watch the game on
- 31:04Speaker 1: the NFL Game Pass on the Zone in Ireland across Europe. Jimmy,
- 31:07Speaker 1: gimme your pick. I'm taking the Steelers to them by
- 31:09Speaker 1: seven points, I said twenty sextually or twenty six or
- 31:12Speaker 1: twenty seven, sex they got hinnd different. It's on this.
- 31:14Speaker 1: I'm gonna say the Steelers on my seven this week,
- 31:17Speaker 1: and we get out of time seven and four, I
- 31:19Speaker 1: take it month seven and four.
- 31:21Speaker 3: Yeah, Yeah, I'm going with a Steelers win myself. Michael,
- 31:25Speaker 3: I think I'm gonna have to go. Yeah, I'm not
- 31:29Speaker 3: gonna lie. I'm having a hard time doing mats on
- 31:31Speaker 3: my head right now. It's it's it's been a tough weekend, cuch,
- 31:34Speaker 3: So I'm not gonna I'm gonna go twenty four to
- 31:36Speaker 3: twenty Steelers. I think we're gonna get more points on
- 31:39Speaker 3: the board than we have. I don't think it's gonna
- 31:41Speaker 3: be a blowout by any means. I think Jake Browning
- 31:43Speaker 3: is gonna come out and do okay, and in Joe
- 31:47Speaker 3: Burrow's absence, I mean, we have to capitalize on these
- 31:50Speaker 3: on these opportunities. I mean, we had a massive one
- 31:53Speaker 3: last week against a backup quarterback and look what happened.
- 31:55Speaker 3: It blew up on our faces. So hopefully we have
- 31:58Speaker 3: a better outing this time around.
- 31:59Speaker 2: But yeah, I'm definitely going.
- 32:01Speaker 3: Look, I can't stop picking the Steelers. Now, what would
- 32:04Speaker 3: the listeners say? If I suddenly I suddenly turned around,
- 32:07Speaker 3: especially against an AFC North rival. So yeah, I know
- 32:10Speaker 3: it's Steelers all the way. I mean, I'm going to
- 32:13Speaker 3: die on this hill this season. Steeers all the way.
- 32:18Speaker 1: I'll just say every week there full has Yeah, fall
- 32:21Speaker 1: house again, what a a praise?
- 32:24Speaker 5: No?
- 32:24Speaker 4: But we Yeah, I'm going twenty seventeen a again a
- 32:27Speaker 4: low scoring one.
- 32:29Speaker 5: I can't see, you know.
- 32:31Speaker 4: I want to hope that we you know, I'd love
- 32:32Speaker 4: to see us put up forty points, but I just
- 32:34Speaker 4: don't think it's going to happen. But the Bangals aren't
- 32:36Speaker 4: going to put up forty points either, and I have
- 32:38Speaker 4: a lot of confidence in the defenses to step in
- 32:40Speaker 4: and do their job as pre usual. So twenty seventeen
- 32:43Speaker 4: and as I said, take that to the bank.
- 32:46Speaker 1: Think it it's a bank chance. As we said, you
- 32:47Speaker 1: can listen to the game on OTV Video this week,
- 32:50Speaker 1: and we'll be back very soon with another edition of
- 32:53Speaker 1: the Irishites podcast, most likely on Monday next week. If
- 32:56Speaker 1: you do any questions or want to get some feedback
- 32:58Speaker 1: from either the game, to watch party, whatever, please do
- 33:01Speaker 1: use the hashtags Steelers Ireland, We're at Steelers Ireland on
- 33:05Speaker 1: x and on Instagram. Do you check it out? But
- 33:07Speaker 1: for now, lads, here we go. We're gonna go seven
- 33:09Speaker 1: and four, positive vibes, positive vibes, Chatty said, Here we go.
