- 0:00A human birth is prized as it is the gateway to evolution and
- 0:05development. In the Indian tradition, even
- 0:09the gods need to take a human birth if they want to achieve
- 0:14any new form of development or progress.
- 0:17The gods reside normally in a static world which does not have
- 0:22the impetus for change. Once a human birth has been
- 0:27attained, the soul has the opportunity to face the
- 0:31inevitable challenges that arise as part of the evolutionary
- 0:35process. Some shy away from the struggle
- 0:39and try to avoid it by retreating from the world or
- 0:42seeking liberation through attainment of the state called
- 0:46Samati. They simply choose to opt out of
- 0:50the process. Some begin to deal with the
- 0:54magnitude of the issues in their lives and lose hope, creating
- 0:59suicidal thoughts for spiritual seekers practicing the Integral
- 1:04Yoga, a yoga of transformation of life on earth.
- 1:08However, it is quite certain that there is no way back, no
- 1:13escape, no hiding from the choice.
- 1:18If one retreats now, the issues remain and increase their
- 1:23pressure in the future. The path forward requires
- 1:27patience, persistence and courage.
- 1:32Sriora Bindu observes quote Sadhna has to be done in the
- 1:38body. It cannot be done by the soul
- 1:40without the body. When the body drops, the soul
- 1:44goes wandering in other worlds, and finally it comes back to
- 1:49another life and another body. Then all the difficulties it had
- 1:55not solved meet it again in the new life.
- 2:00So what is the use of leaving the body?
- 2:04Moreover, if one throws away the body wilfully, 1 suffers much in
- 2:10the other worlds, and when one is born again it is in worse,
- 2:14not in better conditions. The only sensible thing is to
- 2:19face the difficulties in this life and this body and conquer
- 2:24them. End Quote.
