- 0:01Speaker 1: John D.
- 0:01Speaker 2: Rich, do you remember the other day Dylan, who answers
- 0:04Speaker 2: our phones, was telling us about some medicine she put
- 0:06Speaker 2: on her face?
- 0:06Speaker 1: Yeah. Hey, Dylan, what was that medicine you put on
- 0:09Speaker 1: your face? What was it called?
- 0:10Speaker 3: Spironolactone.
- 0:14Speaker 1: Okay, and is it actually for your face, right?
- 0:18Speaker 4: For your skin, for your acne.
- 0:19Speaker 2: Okay, so I got a DM where somebody was asking
- 0:22Speaker 2: me what that was. And when I told them, they
- 0:25Speaker 2: were like, oh my God, I have fantastic skin and
- 0:29Speaker 2: that product is in medicine that I take for something else.
- 0:34Speaker 2: And she was like, everyone always compliments my skin. Now
- 0:37Speaker 2: I know why it was something else. She was in,
- 0:39Speaker 2: she had like, she was taking like some sort of
- 0:40Speaker 2: like cholesterol medicine or something.
- 0:42Speaker 1: And as a side, it was a side effect.
- 0:44Speaker 2: It was like, she's got beautiful skin. So she weren't,
- 0:47Speaker 2: when she heard us talk about it, she was asking
- 0:48Speaker 2: us what it was. So then Dylan put on Facebook,
- 0:50Speaker 2: she was just not for fun to be like, what's
- 0:52Speaker 2: something you put on your face.
- 0:53Speaker 1: That's just a little different. That works. That's a good question.
- 0:56Speaker 1: So Lacey, what is something that you put on your face?
- 1:00Speaker 3: So everyone says that you're supposed to, you know, save
- 1:02Speaker 3: the leftover pasta water after you, you know, make pasta
- 1:05Speaker 3: for the sauce, right? Well, one day I saved some
- 1:09Speaker 3: of the pasta water and splashed it on my hand
- 1:11Speaker 3: while I was cooking. And I noticed that my skin
- 1:14Speaker 3: felt really like soft afterwards. So like the next time
- 1:18Speaker 3: I was making pasta, I waited for the Literally so smooth.
- 1:25Speaker 3: Like I looked up and apparently people use rice and
- 1:29Speaker 3: starch water for like beauty stuff. So now like whenever
- 1:32Speaker 3: I eat pasta.
- 1:32Speaker 4: I just let the water cool and dab it on
- 1:34Speaker 4: my face before I shower.
- 1:36Speaker 3: And like the saddest like thing is it's about to
- 1:39Speaker 3: become a staple product in my routine. So, like, now
- 1:42Speaker 3: I'm just going to have to eat, like, pasta every
- 1:44Speaker 3: night to keep my skin nice.
- 1:46Speaker 1: Oh, my gosh.
- 1:46Speaker 5: No, what you got to do is just, like, make
- 1:48Speaker 5: the pasta, do, like, extra, and then put it in, like,
- 1:51Speaker 5: a little spray bottle or something like that and keep
- 1:53Speaker 5: it on your nightstand and just, like, refresh your face
- 1:56Speaker 5: with it like you would do a facial mister. That's
- 1:58Speaker 5: actually genius.
- 1:59Speaker 4: I wonder how, like, good the pasta water stays or
- 2:01Speaker 4: if it has, like, a shelf life.
- 2:03Speaker 5: Yeah, like, does it separate?
- 2:04Speaker 3: You know what I mean?
- 2:05Speaker 1: Do you have to put it in the fridge?
- 2:06Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 2:06Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 2:07Speaker 5: I have questions.
- 2:08Speaker 1: How about the Kardashians putting salmon sperm on their face?
- 2:10Speaker 1: Remember that one? Yeah, that one's pretty nice.
- 2:12Speaker 2: Yeah, Jennifer Aniston did that, too.
- 2:13Speaker 1: That's pretty unique.
- 2:14Speaker 3: Mm-hmm.
- 2:14Speaker 1: That's fun. Lacey, thanks for calling in. Good luck with
- 2:16Speaker 1: that pasta thing on your face. Thanks. Kendall, what about you?
- 2:22Speaker 1: What's something weird you put on your skin and it worked?
- 2:26Speaker 4: Okay, so I saw this TikTok of someone using like
- 2:30Speaker 4: the whites of an egg to use as like a
- 2:33Speaker 4: face patch or like a liquid Band-Aid type of thing.
- 2:37Speaker 4: And I thought it was completely gross and insane. But
- 2:40Speaker 4: then I was making eggs one day and I got
- 2:42Speaker 4: this like tiny, I don't know what it was. It
- 2:44Speaker 4: was like a bump or a cut next to my nose.
- 2:47Speaker 4: And so I was like, you know what? I'm just
- 2:48Speaker 4: going to try it because I don't have any like
- 2:50Speaker 4: Band-Aids or anything nearby. Um, so I did it, I
- 2:53Speaker 4: forgot about it. And then like an hour or two later,
- 2:56Speaker 4: it literally just like peeled off my skin, like a,
- 2:59Speaker 4: like a pimple patch thing. And when I took it
- 3:02Speaker 4: off the skin underneath looked like so good, like surprisingly good.
- 3:07Speaker 4: And now every time like I make eggs or like
- 3:09Speaker 4: I crack an egg, I'm like looking at the whites
- 3:11Speaker 4: and kind of, um, I don't know, I kind of
- 3:13Speaker 4: get the urge to do it again because it worked
- 3:15Speaker 4: so well, but it's weird. Right.
- 3:18Speaker 2: No, it's not weird because just hearing you tell this story,
- 3:20Speaker 2: you just like unlocked a core memory for me as
- 3:23Speaker 2: a kid. My mom went to beauty school. And she
- 3:26Speaker 2: would always practice her hair stuff on me, dyeing my hair,
- 3:29Speaker 2: do whatever. But I remember, because when you're beauty school,
- 3:32Speaker 2: you do the esthetician thing. And I remember, now I
- 3:35Speaker 2: hear her little Mexican accent, Mijito, let me put a
- 3:37Speaker 2: mask on you. And she made a mask. It was
- 3:40Speaker 2: egg whites. And she put egg whites all over my face.
- 3:43Speaker 2: And then it got like hard and crunchy. And I
- 3:45Speaker 2: was so irritated.
- 3:47Speaker 1: And she would do it like every couple of weeks,
- 3:49Speaker 1: I'd have to have a mask on my face. And
- 3:50Speaker 1: you guys, does this sound familiar to you guys?
- 3:51Speaker 4: I feel like I remember that being a thing.
- 3:55Speaker 1: It gets all hard and crunchy.
- 3:56Speaker 4: I also remember people using eggs on their hair.
- 4:01Speaker 1: Like something eggs with hair. That makes sense because there's
- 4:03Speaker 1: protein in it. Maybe I'm off base there. But I
- 4:08Speaker 1: feel like I remember something like that. You've heard of
- 4:10Speaker 1: beer in your hair? You know, so eggs on your face,
- 4:13Speaker 1: maybe the egg on your face. Maybe that's where that
- 4:14Speaker 1: came from.
- 4:15Speaker 2: Literally unlock the memory. I've completely thought about that. Not
- 4:19Speaker 2: thought about that.
- 4:20Speaker 1: Well, you've got great skin now.
- 4:21Speaker 4: So maybe that's great skin, skin, better now, now it's
- 4:25Speaker 4: skin better and other things.
- 4:26Speaker 1: All right. Well, thanks for calling in Kendall.
- 4:29Speaker 2: Thank you so much guys.
- 4:31Speaker 1: Eggs and pasta water. That's the secret.
- 4:33Speaker 2: You know, what's funny too. It's been in this segment.
- 4:36Speaker 2: so many opportunities for dirty jokes and nobody took them.
- 4:39Speaker 1: Yeah, good job. I'm glad you were reserved. Thank you.
- 4:42Speaker 1: I thought of them. I thought a lot of them.
- 4:43Speaker 1: Do you want to just get one out?
- 4:45Speaker 5: No.
- 4:45Speaker 1: No way.
- 4:48Speaker 2: But I'll tell you what's going to happen because it's
- 4:50Speaker 2: happened before.
- 4:51Speaker 1: We've talked about something similar to this.
- 4:52Speaker 2: It's going to pop up on my Instagram, these dirty things,
- 4:55Speaker 2: and then I'll send them to my wife and then
- 4:56Speaker 2: she'll get mad.
- 4:57Speaker 1: Hey, man, why don't we try this? Apparently it's good
- 4:59Speaker 1: for your skin.
- 5:00Speaker 5: Huh?
- 5:01Speaker 1: What do you say, kiddo? What do you say? Huh?
- 5:04Speaker 1: John Jay and Rich.
- 5:07Speaker 5: Make no excuses now I'm talking here and now I'm
- 5:11Speaker 5: talking here and now
