Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with iHeartRadio.
- 0:05Speaker 2: It's almost Famous podcast. We are here breaking down the
- 0:08Speaker 2: Golden Bachelorette. This is a great episode, but actually I
- 0:11Speaker 2: wanted to start because this episode will come out probably
- 0:17Speaker 2: the same day that Florida is affected by Hurricane Milton,
- 0:23Speaker 2: and I just want to take a second and say,
- 0:26Speaker 2: you know, there, obviously there's nothing a human can do,
- 0:28Speaker 2: but we're thinking of you, and we're actively working on
- 0:34Speaker 2: ways right now to help raise funds that are going
- 0:37Speaker 2: to be essential to the recovery and kind of clean
- 0:41Speaker 2: up efforts, and we'll be talking about that more here
- 0:44Speaker 2: in the upcoming days. We're thinking about all of you
- 0:48Speaker 2: because we are recording this the day before Milton has hit,
- 0:53Speaker 2: but this will come out on the day it has
- 0:56Speaker 2: probably hit.
- 0:57Speaker 3: So scary, so awful. I feel so bad for everyone.
- 1:00Speaker 2: It's a it's a really scary thing. Obviously, my parents
- 1:03Speaker 2: are in Santabel, Florida. They're not there right now.
- 1:07Speaker 3: They've they drive out, they fly out.
- 1:11Speaker 2: UH they were gonna go down Monday and UH Santabel
- 1:14Speaker 2: has had a mandatory evacuation, so they stayed kind of
- 1:17Speaker 2: outside UH in Indiana, waiting for this to pass, and
- 1:21Speaker 2: then they're going to go down as soon as the
- 1:22Speaker 2: hurricane passes, but all their friends are, you know away. Obviously,
- 1:27Speaker 2: two years ago, this kind of area was struck Fort Meyer,
- 1:30Speaker 2: Santa Bell, that area was struck by a hurricane, leaving
- 1:33Speaker 2: just devastation everywhere. It's a really hard thing to process.
- 1:38Speaker 2: And so this one obviously is going to go probably
- 1:41Speaker 2: all across central Florida. Yeah, and it's going to affect
- 1:46Speaker 2: hundreds of thousands of people. And it's just a very
- 1:49Speaker 2: kind of sobering and very scary thing as this, as
- 1:55Speaker 2: this you know, monstrous storm sits in the ocean and
- 1:58Speaker 2: everybody's just kind of waiting to see the whats so.
- 2:00Speaker 4: Scary it's saying that they're saying it's like the biggest
- 2:03Speaker 4: hurricane to hit in the US and record history.
- 2:07Speaker 2: Could be. Yeah, it hasn't hit yet. Obviously when we're
- 2:11Speaker 2: recording this, it hasn't hit, could be, and it's gonna
- 2:14Speaker 2: be devastating. So our thoughts are with you. We are
- 2:18Speaker 2: we're not doing this to get praise or admiration, but
- 2:21Speaker 2: we are finding ways for the almost famous listeners to
- 2:24Speaker 2: contribute to the efforts of clean up. Obviously, I sit
- 2:29Speaker 2: on the board of an organization called Project Hope that
- 2:32Speaker 2: does disaster clean up, one of the top disaster clean
- 2:35Speaker 2: up organizations in the US. They're already there, kind of
- 2:39Speaker 2: waiting to be responsive.
- 2:41Speaker 3: What do they do? Where do they go while they're waiting?
- 2:44Speaker 2: Just hotels that seem to be safe, more inlay, higher up,
- 2:49Speaker 2: and then as soon as the hurricane hits, they'll deploy
- 2:52Speaker 2: and send all resources available to partner with other organizations.
- 2:57Speaker 2: It's kind of the cool thing about NGOs, you know,
- 3:01Speaker 2: being competitive is not exactly helpful or useful in these moments,
- 3:07Speaker 2: and so they'll partner together to do as much as
- 3:09Speaker 2: they can. And we'll continue to talk about it here
- 3:11Speaker 2: at the Almost Famous podcast. But to switch gears, we
- 3:14Speaker 2: do have a Golden Bachelorette episode to break down. This
- 3:18Speaker 2: was a good episode. Actually, you said it before we
- 3:21Speaker 2: even started. You said this was a good episode. Yeah,
- 3:25Speaker 2: I want to hear why. There was everything in it.
- 3:28Speaker 4: There was humor with that Chippendale's date, there was well,
- 3:36Speaker 4: I think the other I think the other component that
- 3:39Speaker 4: made it the best for me was that I think
- 3:42Speaker 4: there's a clear, clear front runner in Chock now, and
- 3:48Speaker 4: I'm happy that she might be finding her person, so
- 3:51Speaker 4: I think there was love and lightheartedness.
- 3:55Speaker 2: Yeah, it's the Chippendales comes up a lot during the
- 3:57Speaker 2: Bachelor franchise. It is interesting how often it comes up.
- 4:01Speaker 2: I do think, Yeah, it is fun with the Golden Show, though,
- 4:06Speaker 2: because it isn't that it doesn't feel as risk Ay
- 4:11Speaker 2: is that? Am I wrong on that? Like, it just
- 4:13Speaker 2: doesn't feel as poignantly awkward.
- 4:17Speaker 4: It's way more funny unless guys trying to actually be sexy.
- 4:21Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly, it's fun. It's funny. The show wraps it
- 4:25Speaker 2: up with a good cause. Caitlin Bristow is there to
- 4:28Speaker 2: guest host this this date, We're gonna actually have Kaitlyn
- 4:31Speaker 2: on the podcast to break down what exactly she was
- 4:34Speaker 2: experiencing while this Chippendale's deal is going on.
- 4:38Speaker 4: This might have been the most fun day she's ever
- 4:41Speaker 4: been a part of, So I like to know. Sure,
- 4:44Speaker 4: I'm sure that is weird that we just had a
- 4:47Speaker 4: Chip and Dale's day on Gen season and here we
- 4:50Speaker 4: are again.
- 4:50Speaker 3: But yeah, it works totally different with Golden I.
- 4:53Speaker 4: Couldn't help but think though about the double standard, because
- 4:56Speaker 4: they if they ever had women do this, they be.
- 4:58Speaker 2: Gazzled it wouldn't fly. It just wouldn't work. But this
- 5:03Speaker 2: this played, it was funny, it was good, and again
- 5:07Speaker 2: we got to give credit to this cast. We were
- 5:11Speaker 2: worried to be maybe I was worried. I used to
- 5:13Speaker 2: speak for myself here and say I was worried before
- 5:15Speaker 2: this Golden season started on how they would find a
- 5:18Speaker 2: solid cast of men to go on to the Golden Bachelorette.
- 5:22Speaker 2: I thought it was very important also that they had
- 5:24Speaker 2: a good cast from season one, so that kind of
- 5:27Speaker 2: led into future seasons that it kind of set the
- 5:30Speaker 2: standard to say, no, we need this is the type
- 5:32Speaker 2: of guys we're looking for. This cast has blown it
- 5:35Speaker 2: out of the water, meaning they've agreed, not just agreed
- 5:38Speaker 2: to everything, but they've twisted everything to make it their
- 5:40Speaker 2: own right. You don't if you have a Chippendale's date.
- 5:43Speaker 2: It's not like some guys are gonna feel comfortable going
- 5:46Speaker 2: up there and being super sexy and doing a lap dance.
- 5:49Speaker 2: Some guys are just gonna want to shake their booty
- 5:51Speaker 2: a little bit. Some guys are just gonna walk straut down.
- 5:54Speaker 2: The only thing that is a necessity is to just
- 6:00Speaker 2: do it however you want to do it. And these
- 6:03Speaker 2: guys have done everything asked to them and they've made
- 6:06Speaker 2: their own I think they are a blast of a cast,
- 6:09Speaker 2: and it's sad every week to see any of them
- 6:11Speaker 2: leave because I like watching them together.
- 6:14Speaker 4: It was amazing to see how fast it got to
- 6:17Speaker 4: be that Rose ceremony, where like you didn't know who
- 6:21Speaker 4: was going to be eliminated because a favorite of yours,
- 6:24Speaker 4: Anne Jones, was going to be eliminated, not just one
- 6:26Speaker 4: but multiple, and we definitely see that at the end
- 6:28Speaker 4: of the episode. Then I can't I can't believe how
- 6:33Speaker 4: sweet their friendships are too. Like the men not to
- 6:36Speaker 4: go to the end of the episode, but like the
- 6:38Speaker 4: way that these men just love each other.
- 6:44Speaker 3: They're finding together.
- 6:45Speaker 4: They're like, I found love through this with my friendships,
- 6:48Speaker 4: and like, I guess it's it's definitely in a certain
- 6:50Speaker 4: age group where there's probably you probably have fewer male friendships.
- 6:58Speaker 4: You know, you probably lose a lot of friendships along
- 7:00Speaker 4: the way, and these guys are finding this really like
- 7:03Speaker 4: necessary and special in their lives.
- 7:05Speaker 2: It's something that we can learn from and I hope
- 7:07Speaker 2: that they learn also that friendships are important. It was
- 7:10Speaker 2: something you know, it was always implemented to me in
- 7:13Speaker 2: me as a child from my parents was friendships are important.
- 7:16Speaker 2: They're valuable because long term, like friends, you know, stick together,
- 7:20Speaker 2: they stay, they get to know you, they see you
- 7:22Speaker 2: through your ups and downs. One of the moments that
- 7:27Speaker 2: every episode has had a moment where I've teared up.
- 7:30Speaker 2: I haven't like bold yet or like really cried. Every
- 7:34Speaker 2: moment every episode has had a moment where it's maybe
- 7:37Speaker 2: take it like a deep breath and a step back.
- 7:41Speaker 2: We're gonna skip. I'm just gonna skip because of your
- 7:44Speaker 2: point to the end. The guy that goes home who
- 7:50Speaker 2: had a one on one day.
- 7:51Speaker 3: Dan Dan, Yeah, I was like a little bit shocked.
- 7:55Speaker 2: Yeah, shocked by that. Right, we'll talk about kind of
- 7:57Speaker 2: our feelings towards it. But he says these words, he goes,
- 7:59Speaker 2: I live alone.
- 8:01Speaker 3: I know, man, that really hit me too.
- 8:04Speaker 2: It hit me. It hit me. And it also just
- 8:07Speaker 2: right away said, you know, Jessica is so supportive of
- 8:11Speaker 2: me having male friendships and you know, participating in hobbies,
- 8:16Speaker 2: and she's hoping that. I say, you know, I don't
- 8:18Speaker 2: say yes to those hobbies too often to where I'm
- 8:20Speaker 2: always gone. But it just like showed me how appreciative
- 8:24Speaker 2: I am for a spouse to say, hey, Ben, stay
- 8:27Speaker 2: connected to your friends because at some point, like you,
- 8:31Speaker 2: you know, Dan sitting there going this is so much
- 8:33Speaker 2: fun for me because I had people around and now
- 8:35Speaker 2: I don't, and I'm going home to be alone.
- 8:38Speaker 4: I like, can these men just like get together and
- 8:40Speaker 4: have like a frat Can they live in a frat house?
- 8:43Speaker 2: It's called it's called back Golden Bachelor in Paradise, which
- 8:47Speaker 2: we're excited about, Ashley. So this Chippendale's date we both
- 8:52Speaker 2: thought was fun, it was interesting. They owned it, they
- 8:55Speaker 2: did it.
- 8:56Speaker 4: We'll talk more about it. I guess with Caitlin, we're
- 8:59Speaker 4: gonna really again to it. The group date, Rose goes
- 9:13Speaker 4: to Chock, who then has his moment where we've kind
- 9:16Speaker 4: of been anticipating that we saw in previews where we
- 9:19Speaker 4: wondered why Chock was going home. As soon as this
- 9:23Speaker 4: date is over, Chock gets a phone call that says
- 9:25Speaker 4: that his mother has passed away.
- 9:27Speaker 3: You could you imagine.
- 9:30Speaker 4: It was something obviously we've never seen on this show before.
- 9:34Speaker 4: It was this is the moment that I pretty much cried,
- 9:38Speaker 4: and I don't.
- 9:39Speaker 3: I'm not like you.
- 9:40Speaker 4: I haven't cried too much from this season. They are
- 9:44Speaker 4: all very emotional storylines, but this was just like this
- 9:47Speaker 4: poor man is finding out that his mom died while
- 9:52Speaker 4: he's on the Bachelorette, Oh my gosh. And the night
- 9:56Speaker 4: before at the group date, he asked Joan about how
- 9:59Speaker 4: her mom was doing, and they were talking about how
- 10:02Speaker 4: concerned they were about both their moms being sick. And
- 10:05Speaker 4: then the next morning he finds this out and I
- 10:10Speaker 4: was led to believe that he was just gone because
- 10:14Speaker 4: they didn't have They didn't show any part of the
- 10:16Speaker 4: conversation in which she was like, well, will you come
- 10:19Speaker 4: back when you're done with dealing with things like how
- 10:22Speaker 4: are you feeling about possibly coming back? And then midway
- 10:26Speaker 4: through the episode she was like, I really hope Shock
- 10:28Speaker 4: is coming back. I don't know what I would do
- 10:30Speaker 4: if Shock doesn't come back. And then I and that
- 10:33Speaker 4: door is open.
- 10:35Speaker 2: I know it's that he comes. He's a front runner
- 10:38Speaker 2: because he can come back, right.
- 10:40Speaker 4: So you think that Joan basic Well Jones situation was
- 10:44Speaker 4: a little different because her daughter was having extreme postpartum depression,
- 10:49Speaker 4: so that's more of like a long term thing. I mean,
- 10:51Speaker 4: obviously with his mom, there's the very long morning period
- 10:54Speaker 4: that he's going to go through but he's kept bringing
- 10:58Speaker 4: up how he was her pared for this to happen.
- 11:01Speaker 4: He knew it was going to happen soon, which probably
- 11:03Speaker 4: makes a difference. And his return was speedy. They kept
- 11:08Speaker 4: talking about how it had been like a week, but
- 11:12Speaker 4: you and I know that wasn't really a week.
- 11:14Speaker 3: That was like two days.
- 11:15Speaker 2: Yeah, it wasn't a week. Oh, I'm sure if we
- 11:20Speaker 2: look back and we pulled some bachelor historian and they
- 11:24Speaker 2: would say, yes, so and so is left, and so
- 11:26Speaker 2: and so has left, and I've never known anybody to
- 11:28Speaker 2: even come back necessary. I can't remember it, at least
- 11:31Speaker 2: I'm not going to say it hasn't happened. I just
- 11:32Speaker 2: can't remember it. But it does make me feel like
- 11:35Speaker 2: Chalk is a front runner because the show let him
- 11:40Speaker 2: go and let him come back, which means that he
- 11:43Speaker 2: interacted with the outside world, which means people knew he
- 11:46Speaker 2: was still around, and I think it was important to
- 11:50Speaker 2: see him come back. I think it's important for Joan.
- 11:53Speaker 2: I definitely think it puts him in kind of the
- 11:55Speaker 2: front runner category. But we feel for Chalk here. This
- 11:59Speaker 2: was emotion, this was real, this was heartfelt, and it's
- 12:02Speaker 2: relatable to so many within this age group who are
- 12:06Speaker 2: probably dealing with the same stuff. And so the people
- 12:09Speaker 2: that are watching this and watching Joan's journey with these
- 12:12Speaker 2: men are saying I've been there, or I'm there right now,
- 12:15Speaker 2: or I'm close to being there. Yeah. Uh, and that's tough.
- 12:19Speaker 2: I can't imagine it. And the men were very supportive.
- 12:21Speaker 4: I was gonna say it was probably a good group
- 12:23Speaker 4: of people to be with when that happened, because so
- 12:25Speaker 4: many people in that group could relate.
- 12:28Speaker 1: M h.
- 12:29Speaker 4: I'm really wondering, like how the conversation went with the
- 12:33Speaker 4: producers when he left, Like if they were like, so, chock, listen,
- 12:38Speaker 4: we understand that you probably like, you know, like you
- 12:40Speaker 4: gotta go. This isn't bad, this is you have to go.
- 12:43Speaker 4: But you are somebody that Joan really wants here. So like,
- 12:48Speaker 4: how comfortable do you feel coming back very quickly? Yeah,
- 12:52Speaker 4: because they definitely didn't want him to like miss a
- 12:56Speaker 4: week or two, do you know what I mean, like
- 12:58Speaker 4: a full week. They want him to come back at
- 13:00Speaker 4: the Rose, the appropriate Rose ceremony, because then he I
- 13:04Speaker 4: don't know that these guys would have actually made it
- 13:06Speaker 4: a big deal if he skipped a week or two,
- 13:09Speaker 4: but just to be clean about it. They had him
- 13:14Speaker 4: come back very quickly, so it seemed fair.
- 13:17Speaker 2: Yes, I mean, I think it's important for everybody that
- 13:20Speaker 2: he comes back quickly. I think it's important for him
- 13:23Speaker 2: just because you are going to miss out a lot
- 13:24Speaker 2: and there's relationships that every day are building. So Chalk
- 13:28Speaker 2: at this point leaves and comes home, comes back. He
- 13:31Speaker 2: still has the rose. That is something now that is there.
- 13:35Speaker 2: There's a one on one date that comes up this week.
- 13:39Speaker 2: It is kind of at an odd time. I'm sure
- 13:42Speaker 2: this is one of those moments as the lead where
- 13:45Speaker 2: Joan is like, I just got out of a conversation
- 13:46Speaker 2: with somebody I really care about and somebody actually feel
- 13:48Speaker 2: like I need to spend more time with right now
- 13:50Speaker 2: because they're hurting. And now I'm gonna go on one
- 13:52Speaker 2: on one date and have to switch gears and have
- 13:55Speaker 2: that joy and have that focus and have that intention.
- 13:59Speaker 2: That is a really hard thing for her to transition
- 14:02Speaker 2: into and at some level is where I think she
- 14:05Speaker 2: thrives because she can compartmentalize. This is a great moment
- 14:09Speaker 2: for the viewers to go. Joan really had to compartmentalize
- 14:12Speaker 2: here to be the best version of herself. For this date.
- 14:16Speaker 2: It's not easily done, but she did it.
- 14:19Speaker 3: She did do it.
- 14:20Speaker 4: She did a great job, and she had more of
- 14:22Speaker 4: a connection with Jordan than I imagine she would.
- 14:26Speaker 3: Jordan to me is like a cool guy.
- 14:27Speaker 4: His voice, I mean, this might be a weird comment,
- 14:29Speaker 4: but his voice sounds like a young guy. Yeah, even
- 14:33Speaker 4: like some part of his face really looks younger than
- 14:36Speaker 4: his age. His general vibe is youthful. Yeah, but yeah,
- 14:41Speaker 4: I think a lot of it is in his voice.
- 14:44Speaker 4: And they went ice skating. She was able to kind
- 14:47Speaker 4: of put the chalk stuff a little bit in the
- 14:50Speaker 4: back of her mind. She felt like this was romantic
- 14:53Speaker 4: at Ario Speedwagon, which was cool.
- 14:56Speaker 3: I felt more.
- 14:57Speaker 4: I'm glad I from both your man guy guy, I
- 15:05Speaker 4: forget how can I forget guys and Jordan, both of them.
- 15:10Speaker 4: I needed to hear their background stories to feel more
- 15:13Speaker 4: connected to them because they were a little bit more
- 15:16Speaker 4: delayed in us getting to that point. And I feel
- 15:18Speaker 4: more connected to them, for sure. I feel more of
- 15:22Speaker 4: a connection with between her and Jordan, and based on
- 15:28Speaker 4: the scenes from the from the season, guess what, he
- 15:31Speaker 4: totally makes it to hometowns. Yeah, I mean, did you
- 15:34Speaker 4: see that they're in Chicago.
- 15:38Speaker 2: I don't really watch the scenes from the next episode.
- 15:41Speaker 2: I feel like they're spoilers. I kind of like glazed
- 15:43Speaker 2: through them.
- 15:44Speaker 3: That's where I got Wayevo from.
- 15:46Speaker 2: Well, that's why you're here, and that's why I'm here.
- 15:59Speaker 2: The state does it like blow me out of the water.
- 16:01Speaker 2: It does feel like it's a start of something to me.
- 16:04Speaker 2: It does feel like he's kind of the cool guy.
- 16:07Speaker 2: She does have another one on one date with the
- 16:10Speaker 2: person I've been super high on the whole season. Guy.
- 16:13Speaker 2: Now here's my take from this date with Guy. The
- 16:17Speaker 2: connection is not as good as I thought it was
- 16:18Speaker 2: going to be. I do not think now he is
- 16:21Speaker 2: a front runner. Okay, but he reminds me of one
- 16:24Speaker 2: of my favorite people to ever be on the franchise.
- 16:29Speaker 2: He reminds me of somebody who I just love being around,
- 16:37Speaker 2: and that's Cupcake. Chris Tramber.
- 16:39Speaker 4: Okay, okay, another doctor, another doctor.
- 16:42Speaker 2: But their personalities are similar.
- 16:44Speaker 3: That is so true.
- 16:48Speaker 4: They have like a certain gentleness about them, a gentleness.
- 16:53Speaker 2: Do you obviously know they're insanely intelligent, but they're also
- 16:56Speaker 2: like and I don't this is going to sound awful,
- 16:59Speaker 2: and Chris, if you listen to this. I'm sorry. They're
- 17:03Speaker 2: they're so smart and so intelligent, but they have these
- 17:06Speaker 2: areas of their life where they know nothing about, which
- 17:09Speaker 2: here we see with Guy, right, like we see this
- 17:12Speaker 2: with Guy. He doesn't know how to cook. He can't
- 17:15Speaker 2: even peel, you know, he can't even cook a dinner
- 17:18Speaker 2: at any level. And but yet they're kind, they're considerate,
- 17:23Speaker 2: they have an intentionality about them, and they care so
- 17:27Speaker 2: much to do so well. Does that make sense?
- 17:31Speaker 4: Yes, it all makes so much sense. And the parallel
- 17:34Speaker 4: is unbelievable. You're so so right, but there is like
- 17:38Speaker 4: a certain like sweetness. Gentle is really the word that
- 17:42Speaker 4: comes to me while still being fair, Yeah, while still
- 17:46Speaker 4: being masculine.
- 17:49Speaker 2: And they're both super strong, like they both have huge arms.
- 17:53Speaker 2: Oh my god.
- 17:54Speaker 4: Yes, yeah, that's that's a great parallel. So guys see nice.
- 18:00Speaker 4: But I don't still see him in the top or
- 18:04Speaker 4: I don't see him in the top four, which means
- 18:05Speaker 4: that he'd be like a limited next week. It's so
- 18:07Speaker 4: crazy how fast this goes.
- 18:09Speaker 2: Yeah, this definitely this date took a step back for me.
- 18:12Speaker 2: I wanted to see how he was like with Joan.
- 18:14Speaker 2: It felt it felt uncomfortable at times, it felt like
- 18:18Speaker 2: the two of them weren't connecting. I just think, not
- 18:20Speaker 2: that there's anything wrong. I just think there's guys in
- 18:22Speaker 2: this group that Joan feels so comfortable to be around,
- 18:26Speaker 2: which we'll get to in a little bit our top
- 18:27Speaker 2: threes at this point. But after this one on one date,
- 18:32Speaker 2: obviously guy is still around. He's still there.
- 18:34Speaker 4: Well, that's why I feel like the Golden again, like
- 18:38Speaker 4: I mentioned last week, is a little bit different because
- 18:40Speaker 4: you keep people around because like you really like them
- 18:44Speaker 4: as people you As we see at the end of
- 18:47Speaker 4: the episode, she's like saying that she loves these men,
- 18:50Speaker 4: like she says to Charles when he leaves, like I
- 18:52Speaker 4: love you, but like it's just.
- 18:54Speaker 3: Not romantic with a lot of them.
- 18:56Speaker 2: I get it.
- 18:57Speaker 4: I mean, you're not going to push the romance like
- 18:59Speaker 4: I feel like with you, like tell me if I'm wrong,
- 19:01Speaker 4: But like you kind of kiss girls that you probably
- 19:04Speaker 4: wouldn't have kissed in real life.
- 19:06Speaker 2: I don't really know.
- 19:08Speaker 3: I know some bachelors have said this.
- 19:11Speaker 2: Yeah, and I'm sure because you're in this like your
- 19:14Speaker 2: your real life or your world is that group, and
- 19:18Speaker 2: so there's kissing that happens because you're on a date
- 19:21Speaker 2: with them and because you want to see if there's
- 19:23Speaker 2: a connection there, right, Yeah. So I don't know if
- 19:26Speaker 2: I would or wouldn't have. That was a different season
- 19:29Speaker 2: of dating in my life. I was twenty five and
- 19:31Speaker 2: just really excited to beat me. So I don't know.
- 19:34Speaker 2: Maybe I would have, but I do think there's a
- 19:38Speaker 2: love and I get that. Like, there was a lot
- 19:41Speaker 2: of women on my on the season that like I
- 19:45Speaker 2: had a love for because they agreed to come and
- 19:47Speaker 2: I knew their stories. Right, Some people that come to mind,
- 19:50Speaker 2: like the Jubilees of the world. Right, there was an
- 19:52Speaker 2: amazing story that like and just heartfelt intentionality she came
- 19:57Speaker 2: to the show with. When she left, I was like,
- 19:59Speaker 2: I don't want to see you leave, but have I mean,
- 20:02Speaker 2: we have to because this isn't gonna work for us romantically,
- 20:05Speaker 2: but for you to be here is a joy to me.
- 20:08Speaker 2: I think Jones experiencing the same thing. The problem is,
- 20:11Speaker 2: I think she feels that with every single one of
- 20:13Speaker 2: these dudes, because they're all so great and they've been
- 20:15Speaker 2: great to her and they're great to each other. Yeah,
- 20:17Speaker 2: and you're like, what, like every week you see this
- 20:20Speaker 2: the experience itself, the environment getting smaller and smaller, and
- 20:25Speaker 2: you're like, gosh, can I just start over with these dudes?
- 20:27Speaker 2: Like this has been so fun. I think they're having fun.
- 20:30Speaker 4: They're having a blast. They are really I think they
- 20:33Speaker 4: are falling in love with each other as much as
- 20:35Speaker 4: they're falling in love with Joan. And it's very sweet
- 20:37Speaker 4: for us to say. If it were happening on the
- 20:39Speaker 4: regular show, we'd be like, Oh, these bros need to
- 20:41Speaker 4: concentrate on her.
- 20:43Speaker 2: This is boring. We need some drama. These guys got
- 20:46Speaker 2: to fight.
- 20:47Speaker 4: Every time we see the guys like just enjoying time
- 20:49Speaker 4: with each other on the main show, we're always like, hello, focus,
- 20:54Speaker 4: you are not here to brow out anyway. Okay, I
- 20:57Speaker 4: have to mention, since you said that guy has gone
- 21:01Speaker 4: down on your totem pole, guess what, Yes, guess.
- 21:05Speaker 2: Bet uh Keith has for you as well? Or guy
- 21:09Speaker 2: has gone up on yours.
- 21:10Speaker 4: No, Mark is down on my totem pole. I think
- 21:14Speaker 4: he's going to get eliminated next week.
- 21:16Speaker 2: You're crazy.
- 21:18Speaker 3: You're crazy.
- 21:19Speaker 2: You're absolutely crazy. Wait no, this isn't like in a
- 21:23Speaker 2: typical way I call you crazy. This is like you're
- 21:26Speaker 2: just like, this is a bad take.
- 21:28Speaker 3: Really, you know, spoilers.
- 21:31Speaker 2: No, I don't know spoilers actually, but like, goodness gracious,
- 21:35Speaker 2: if he goes home.
- 21:36Speaker 4: No, he's been getting less and less airtime and they have.
- 21:41Speaker 2: Crushing it, you think, so he is absolutely crushing it.
- 21:45Speaker 2: This dude and Joan are definitely together.
- 21:47Speaker 4: Oh okay, Okay, I hope I don't know this right.
- 21:52Speaker 3: I hope you're right.
- 21:53Speaker 2: Okay, the the Rose ceremony eliminates more guys and expected
- 21:59Speaker 2: the rea and why is they got to be traveling
- 22:01Speaker 2: next week? There's no shot that they're not traveling because
- 22:04Speaker 2: they eliminated way more guys than they actually needed to
- 22:07Speaker 2: for the format. But they you know, sharts are getting expensive.
- 22:11Speaker 4: I don't think so, I think because next week we
- 22:14Speaker 4: get down to four. So it's just the natural cutdown
- 22:17Speaker 4: right now.
- 22:18Speaker 2: Okay, I thought they would only be two eliminated. Uh,
- 22:20Speaker 2: there was three, three of our favorites. Goodness gracious, I'm
- 22:24Speaker 2: going to miss these guys from Dan to Charles. Charles
- 22:27Speaker 2: the the heart and soul of the show, along with Goldie,
- 22:34Speaker 2: who is just a presence of kindness and joy and
- 22:39Speaker 2: hope and uh and I'm sad to see all these
- 22:42Speaker 2: guys go because I think they were making. Three of
- 22:45Speaker 2: these guys were a part of making this show great.
- 22:48Speaker 2: Without them, this show wouldn't have wouldn't have been what
- 22:51Speaker 2: it is. Uh. And so I'm sad to see him go,
- 22:54Speaker 2: but I get it. It's time to move on now
- 22:56Speaker 2: and be more focused on romance than the joy in
- 23:00Speaker 2: the fun of the House.
- 23:02Speaker 4: Well, we do see Gil leave, So Gil the problem
- 23:05Speaker 4: with Gil child all this show. Yeah, yeah, Gil, the
- 23:09Speaker 4: problem child of the season with the restraining order, goes home.
- 23:12Speaker 4: And then let's just say with Charles, who again is
- 23:16Speaker 4: just the sweetest man.
- 23:17Speaker 3: He goes home, she says, I love you. You changed
- 23:21Speaker 3: my life.
- 23:22Speaker 2: Of course, Oh, of course.
- 23:24Speaker 4: And finally we have to mention Keith's awkwardness where he
- 23:28Speaker 4: gets through this rost ceremony by the skin of his teeth.
- 23:31Speaker 4: He really was word salaity, word salady, nervous man during
- 23:37Speaker 4: this cocktail party. I was not sure he being the
- 23:42Speaker 4: first impression Rose Getter was going to make it further.
- 23:45Speaker 2: There's just a lack of comfort between the two of
- 23:48Speaker 2: them right now, which is why I think Keith will
- 23:50Speaker 2: go home before Mark goes home, which makes me believe
- 23:54Speaker 2: Mark will be there longer. I like Keith. I just
- 23:57Speaker 2: think there is a lack of comfort. I think next
- 23:59Speaker 2: week my top three going into Hometowns at this point
- 24:05Speaker 2: would have to be Jonathan. It would also have to
- 24:08Speaker 2: be Mark. My third is a tough one right now.
- 24:12Speaker 2: Why there's chalk a good point. I guess chalk chalk,
- 24:18Speaker 2: Mark and Jonathan would make my top three going into hometowns. Ashley,
- 24:25Speaker 2: do you disagree with any of that.
- 24:26Speaker 4: Sort of because I actually weirdly think that Jonathan might
- 24:30Speaker 4: get elimited next week. I think he's so hot and
- 24:33Speaker 4: he's like very romantic and swooney, but I think that
- 24:38Speaker 4: she feels like she's missing something with him. And I'm
- 24:40Speaker 4: also saying this because the scenes from the next episode
- 24:42Speaker 4: do not show him a lot.
- 24:44Speaker 2: Okay, so who are your top three?
- 24:46Speaker 3: I'm gonna throw Jordan into my top three.
- 24:50Speaker 4: Because I remember it wasn't Hometowns just top three or
- 24:54Speaker 4: something like that with Golden.
- 24:55Speaker 3: I think Jordan's in it.
- 24:57Speaker 4: So you think it's Jordan, Mark and Chal Jordan Chock
- 25:02Speaker 4: And yeah, I guess we'll say Mark. But like he's oh,
- 25:07Speaker 4: you know, a pascual Pascal, Pascal.
- 25:11Speaker 3: Pascal man, he's getting far now, there's.
- 25:15Speaker 2: No shot he makes it farther than Mark. So that's
- 25:18Speaker 2: why I think there's no way Mark goes home.
- 25:20Speaker 4: All right, Fine, I'll put Mark in there because just
- 25:22Speaker 4: because that was my initial gut, but I am.
- 25:24Speaker 3: Worried for him. All right.
- 25:26Speaker 4: Well, we made sure that we didn't talk too much
- 25:28Speaker 4: about the Chip and Dales date because we really want
- 25:31Speaker 4: to go through it with Caitlin burst Oceans. She was
- 25:33Speaker 4: there firsthand and we've made this wish come true. We'll
- 25:38Speaker 4: have a separate episode breaking that down with her, as
- 25:41Speaker 4: well as getting into her personal life because.
- 25:44Speaker 2: Duh, it's interesting. So until next time, I've Been Been, I've.
