- 0:21Couple of footnotes before we begin here on the Rancho Radio
- 0:24podcast where we talk about the fifth epical revelation.
- 0:28The revelation. I got a an e-mail from someone
- 0:31saying I'm not saying it right. Why we say the epical
- 0:35revelation? I like the word epical.
- 0:37I don't like the word epochal. I've asked people, hey, is it
- 0:41epical or epochal? It's just a matter of
- 0:44preference. It's like some people say
- 0:46nephilim, I say I say Nephilim, other people say Nephilim, some
- 0:52people say norlichedek, others say Norlitiadek.
- 0:57I guess it's just a matter of preference, but I always
- 1:01appreciate the e-mail and we do have a lot of good e-mail, a
- 1:05good listener e-mail that I'll go to some of these great
- 1:08questions. And you can always send me an
- 1:10e-mail if you have a question about the Urantia book.
- 1:13And if I don't have the answer, I'll find it.
- 1:15And that's easy. urantiabookradio@gmail.com.
- 1:18So thank you. We've got some interesting sound
- 1:21clips. It's also the week of Easter,
- 1:24which we celebrate the birth and the resurrection and the life of
- 1:27Christ. So we'll spend a little bit of
- 1:30time on all of this. I read, I was reading through
- 1:33the week, the last days of Jesus's life.
- 1:38And I just finished reading the Last Supper and it's, it's a
- 1:42really, it's worth going back to and reading and learning some
- 1:47lessons, some very important key lessons that have been lost in
- 1:50time. And chief among them, just
- 1:54briefly, because it is Easter week and we do celebrate the the
- 1:58promise kept. And one of the passages
- 2:02curiously, was that the formality of the Last Supper is
- 2:09pretty much time honored and celebrated across all the major
- 2:12Christian faiths. There's no question the Last
- 2:15Supper is is practiced almost to a what they call a mathematical
- 2:22precision. And it was exactly the opposite
- 2:26that the Urantia book revelators tell us of why Jesus wanted to
- 2:30have this Last Supper with his 12 apostles.
- 2:34And I had forgotten that he wanted to dispel of all
- 2:40formality when it came to religious practice.
- 2:43And I understand why he, he chose that path because he
- 2:47ultimately wanted religion to be a natural part of your life, not
- 2:54something separate or in addition to or separate from.
- 2:59But the, the whole idea of living in the spiritual Kingdom
- 3:04is that you accept your citizenship, you accept your
- 3:06sonship, and then you go about living your life in this new
- 3:12paradigm. And that's what Jesus always
- 3:14taught that religion, for example, if you're a vegan, if
- 3:19you're a vegan, it, it's a natural part of your lifestyle
- 3:24to just not eat meat. And when you're, when you're a
- 3:28person of religious faith, you go about your life living as a
- 3:33person of faith and you have a better hopefully understanding
- 3:36of things that are going on around you.
- 3:38The relationships that you have are, are based on loyalty,
- 3:43fidelity, trust. And these are things that come
- 3:46about because of the moral nature.
- 3:50The morality and spirituality are are very intertwined. 1
- 3:54tends to produce the characteristics of morality and
- 3:58morality helps you to appreciate spirituality in all of its
- 4:02forms. So in in doing the Last Supper,
- 4:06he said, Remember Me breaking the bread, Remember Me drinking
- 4:09the wine. And it was intended.
- 4:12And when I had forgotten this to Freeman from the the symbols and
- 4:18the rituals. And it's sad that the exact
- 4:21opposite happened because now we've formalized and
- 4:23crystallized the Last Supper into a ceremony when Jesus's
- 4:29intent was to have a special occasion for his apostles.
- 4:33Remember Me? So it's just a a bit of irony,
- 4:38but let me get to some of the listeners.
- 4:40Then we'll get to some of the interesting sound.
- 4:43I've got some great e-mail. This one gentleman emailed me
- 4:46last night and I hope I got it. I think it's over here.
- 4:50And he talks about how in paper 57 and you know, everybody's
- 4:55kind of focusing on the moon right now with the Artemis and
- 4:58the Orion and all the crew members.
- 5:01Very exciting times, no question.
- 5:04And so because we're all focusing on the moon, this one
- 5:08listener wrote me, he's a relatively new reader, 32 year
- 5:12old. And he says to me, you know, I,
- 5:15I'm not reconciled on an explanation about the moon and
- 5:19the earth. And, and he says we've been
- 5:25taught and science tells us that the moon actually broke off and
- 5:29was at one point a part of the earth and that it doesn't jive
- 5:33with, with the fact that it has, I think he said a rotation.
- 5:37And of course, you know, as I try to find the, the e-mail, I
- 5:40can't because I don't want to miss the essence of what he oh,
- 5:44here it is from Lucas. He writes, he writes the Urantia
- 5:50book describes the moon as forming from the earth, spinning
- 5:54so rapidly that material was ejected and eventually became
- 5:57the moon rather than forming from a collision.
- 6:01And he quotes paper 57, six paragraph two.
- 6:06He says, however, from what I understand, very few celestial
- 6:09bodies are capable of spinning at that rate, especially
- 6:13something the size of any Earth. Given that early Earth would
- 6:16have been mostly molten and unstable, it seems more likely
- 6:20that it would have been. It would have been disrupted
- 6:23entirely by centrifugal force rather than ejecting a single
- 6:28coherent mass. And then he says, do you have
- 6:32any thoughts on this? How do I reconcile this?
- 6:34Well, it's in the details. See, the Urantia book is very
- 6:38clear about some things that it can disclose because of its
- 6:41mandate. And so sometimes what you think
- 6:44that you read is not actually what you read.
- 6:47For example, there's a lot of controversy over the fact that
- 6:50there's a paragraph in that same section where it talks about how
- 6:54Mercury and the Moon both are always faced towards the same
- 6:59side toward the the either the Earth or the Sun.
- 7:03However, it doesn't actually say that.
- 7:05It's tricky and if I have time I'll explain it, but to Lucas's
- 7:10point, the Urantia book doesn't say that Earth and the moon were
- 7:15part of the same globular coherent mass that ejected from
- 7:19the sun. In fact, it only references that
- 7:23the planets came the that they were a result of the Angonas
- 7:27system that was drawing off of the material of the sun and some
- 7:32of it had is had escaped its gravitational pull.
- 7:36And those the collections of early solar mass eventually
- 7:41became what was then the 12 planets.
- 7:45And I would assume that that includes also the material that
- 7:48makes the moon, because the Urantia book says that all of
- 7:51the, the globular bodies were part of that mass that were were
- 7:56drawn off by the gravitational pull of the passing system, what
- 8:00they refer to as in gonna. But it doesn't say that the
- 8:05moon, the, the, the mass that makes up the moon was disgorged
- 8:10from Earth. And I've read through that a
- 8:12couple of times. So I would say to Lucas, I
- 8:15believe what they were intimating was that the moon was
- 8:19its own collection of mass, not quite large enough to set out on
- 8:25its own path, but that it was, it was captured by the the mass
- 8:31of the Earth because it was slightly larger.
- 8:34What it does not say is that the moon came from the Earth.
- 8:39What it does say is that the Earth came from that ejection of
- 8:43solar mass in response to the gravitational pull of the
- 8:47passing Angonas system. So it's slight, it's subtle, but
- 8:52it's specific. And so I also add to this
- 8:56question, we've all been taught in science that the moon came
- 9:01from Earth. It's true.
- 9:04It's literally true. I remember being taught this in,
- 9:07you know, elementary school. But that's not true because we
- 9:11haven't ever been able to prove it.
- 9:15You know, so the assumption is when you're reading this paper
- 9:20is that, oh, the moon must have broken off at some point from
- 9:24the Earth. I'm I'm inclined to believe that
- 9:27the mass that was ejected from the sun, a greater portion of it
- 9:33became Earth and a separate but nearby portion of mass made-up
- 9:39the moon. And that's why the Earth ended
- 9:42up becoming much larger because it was attracting more
- 9:44meteorites and asteroids through that 200,000 year period around
- 9:504,000,000 years ago. So I hope I've answered the
- 9:53question, and if there is an astronomer out there, you can
- 9:58either concur with me or correct me, but I think I've got that
- 10:01right. OK, So what else have people
- 10:05been writing about? Guy turned me on to a new book
- 10:11by this man called Ernest Holmes, and he wrote this book
- 10:19called Science of Mind back in the 60s, but he was around in
- 10:23the 40s. Actually, I think he went back
- 10:26as far as the 20s. Ernest Holmes.
- 10:29And it's a great read. I've started to read it.
- 10:32It's very much in the way that the Arantia book describes mind
- 10:37and matter and materialism, and it's very interesting and it
- 10:41makes me think that maybe Ernest might have been part of one of
- 10:45those groups, you know, of the forum.
- 10:47I don't know if anybody would know that.
- 10:49Maybe we could look back through and see if the name Ernest
- 10:53Holmes pops up. But his book is really good and
- 10:56it's it it might be a good way to introduce this whole concept
- 10:59of the difference between the mind and the spirit.
- 11:03But he it's very good read and I would recommend it to you called
- 11:07the science of Mind by Ernest Holmes.
- 11:10So thanks to my good buddy out there, Charles, for turning on
- 11:15me to that. Neil Tolin writes he wants to
- 11:19know about Melchizedek. He's a good long time reader,
- 11:25been part of of the many, many episodes, always has something
- 11:28interesting to say and he talks about is it Melchizedek?
- 11:35He wants to know about Melchizedek.
- 11:38He wants to know when he when I think that's going to happen is
- 11:43milk. Some people say he's already
- 11:45he's he's still part of the and we're talking specifically about
- 11:49macho Venta Melchizedek and he is the sage of Salem mentioned
- 11:54in Genesis. He is the mentor of Abraham, the
- 12:01instigator of most of the modern religions today.
- 12:05Going back to the teachings of Melchizedek.
- 12:07He was an emergency son. They had petitioned at the time
- 12:12around 2000 BC that the idea of one God, the light of life, was
- 12:18disappearing from the mind of humanity and that the the 12
- 12:23receivers who basically took over the world after the Lucifer
- 12:29rebellion in Calagasia was no longer in charge.
- 12:34They had petitioned the most highs of adventures saying, you
- 12:37know, we've got a little problem here on earth.
- 12:40They're kind of regressing. Maybe it's time to inject a
- 12:45little truth into these these folks and keep them on the right
- 12:48path because we know that in at some point, the Son of God,
- 12:53Michael is going to be making his appearance.
- 12:56So we need to prepare the way that that's the essence of the
- 12:58story. What's interesting is that he is
- 13:02still part of the receivership of the 12 Melchizedeks.
- 13:05He's been at least at this point, assigned to the four and
- 13:0920 elders. And as, as some of us know, in
- 13:14that group, they serve as advisors and, and they include
- 13:19the illustrious Adam and Eve. Moses is on the committee.
- 13:23Enoch is on the committee. I mean, these are these are
- 13:26celebs, spiritual celebrities, the ones that didn't make the 24
- 13:32elders that are mentioned in Revelation.
- 13:34Interesting. I would have thought Abraham,
- 13:36but maybe they have better plans for him.
- 13:39And there's also the question of will Adam and Eve return and
- 13:44bring them their children that had left after the fall of the
- 13:48first Eden? And that I think is is equally
- 13:52likely. I've given lots of thought to
- 13:55the reappearance of Melchizedek. I think that would be time to
- 14:00occur, to again prepare the way for Christ, the return of the
- 14:05second coming of Christ, which is in a far distant future,
- 14:10maybe a few 1000 years from now, Who knows?
- 14:13But I don't think that Melchizedek will come until we
- 14:17are spiritually at that level where we would understand what
- 14:21and who he is. And the reason for that is
- 14:23because, you know, all things being equal, And it breaks my
- 14:28heart to have to say this because I've said it before, but
- 14:31when they sent us or when Michael chose this world, he
- 14:36must have had the wisdom to know how it was going to end.
- 14:39We were either going to receive him and accept him or we would
- 14:42reject him. And, and it makes me so angry
- 14:45that that we have never really, how do I say this in a way that
- 14:52isn't insensitive because I know the people that love Christ and,
- 14:55and the resurrection. It's so special.
- 14:59Easter is my favorite holiday. It always has been because of
- 15:03the fact of what it represents, which is the promise, the
- 15:07promise that there is eternal life.
- 15:10There's not a man on this earth. If they were to ask, well, what
- 15:14makes you think there's such a thing as an afterlife?
- 15:16Well, we've got evidence 1000 or so people witnessed the
- 15:21resurrected Christ and, and some of us atheists and some of these
- 15:26materialists, Oh, well, that's not true.
- 15:28They just made all that stuff. And it would have to be the
- 15:32biggest conspiracy ever to perpetuate a lie that Christ did
- 15:39not resurrect that day after a couple days after he was hung
- 15:42from a cross. The first part of that story is
- 15:46the religious rulers and even the Roman rulers of the day
- 15:49rejected the man. They rejected him.
- 15:52They rejected God. They rejected the truth that he
- 15:55was willing to share. And then when the resurrection
- 15:59does come, all of a sudden everybody's like, oh, yeah,
- 16:01well, you know, I believed in the resurrection.
- 16:04Yeah. Yeah.
- 16:05I remember when none of them did.
- 16:07None of them did for weeks. The apostles were downtrodden
- 16:12and they couldn't leave and they were afraid they were going to
- 16:14get jumped and and the, the, the mobs were going to, it was a
- 16:19horrible, horrible, aside from probably the women who were
- 16:24remained the women's evangelical Corps.
- 16:27It took a little while for people to say, oh, yeah, he did
- 16:31mention he was coming back. That's right.
- 16:33He did say he was going to lay down his life and bring it up
- 16:39again. And it's a, it's a shame on this
- 16:45world that that is our legacy, the world of the cross.
- 16:49I mean, the legacy of this world, the 7th bestowal, the
- 16:52last bestowal, the, the probably the equally one of the most
- 16:57important bestowals, that of being the last in the, in the
- 17:00son of man chain as a material mortal of the realm.
- 17:05Every other bestowal they celebrated him.
- 17:08He'd, he'd do his bestowals as a Melchizedek.
- 17:11And then he did it as a Lana Nandek son.
- 17:13And he did it as a, as an ascending Angel and then a
- 17:16Maranche immortal. And every time at the end of his
- 17:19bestowals, you know, Michael would resume his, his seat at
- 17:23the, the Salvington table and he'd of course be.
- 17:26So what are you so amazed about? This is my job.
- 17:30I'm supposed to do this. I, I love you.
- 17:32I want to get to know you. I want to know what it's like to
- 17:35be as I've made you to be. And in every other bestowal,
- 17:41they welcomed him back. They celebrated him.
- 17:44Oh no, not on Urantia, though. Little different.
- 17:47Although they were probably more shocked, I would imagine.
- 17:53I mean, he wanted the the worst of the worst and he got it.
- 17:58But it's on us. We could have chosen to accept
- 18:02him. He could have hung out a little
- 18:04bit longer. He could have been on the earth
- 18:0610 years, 15 years, he could have instituted something.
- 18:12I mean, there were a lot of restrictions and the main point
- 18:14of Jesus's trip was to reveal man to God and reveal God to man
- 18:20as best he he could. But the the truth is at the end
- 18:24of the day, we rejected him. And the and the same people that
- 18:26would reject Christ 2000 years ago would be the same people who
- 18:30would reject the Melchizedek. They probably think he was the
- 18:34Antichrist. You'd have a group of Christians
- 18:38acting just the way that the Sanhedrin and the Sadducees and
- 18:42the Pharisees did in the days of Christ when he walked the earth.
- 18:47The same attitude. In fact, it's worse now because
- 18:50now people, they just laugh at it.
- 18:54Oh, what are you a man of science?
- 18:55Are you a man of reason? What is this?
- 18:57You know this fool of stuff that you and and that has not the
- 19:02attitude hasn't changed and look at the way that we run our
- 19:04governments look at the way that we run our medicine.
- 19:06Look at the way that we run everything that we run and ask
- 19:12yourself, are we truly living, You know, with the rules of
- 19:16conduct that we're and even the Arantia book says that we have
- 19:19not ever seriously given the philosophy of living as Jesus
- 19:24taught it in motion in Paper 195.
- 19:28It talks about what a great opportunity it is now that we
- 19:32have within the presence of humanity, the actual life and
- 19:35teachings of Jesus. Every single person can pick up
- 19:39the book. They don't have to have a priest
- 19:41explain it to them. They don't have to memorize all
- 19:44the passages from the Bible. And I'm not saying anything bad
- 19:49about the Bible. It's scripture, it's what it is.
- 19:52It took a long time to get here and it carries, thank God, most
- 19:56of the important truths. But now we have even an enlarged
- 20:02revelation and how do we treat it?
- 20:06You know, so that's where we're at and, and all the more reason
- 20:13for people to think about the future and where we're headed
- 20:17Now, if Melchizedek were to show, what would be the reason?
- 20:19Would it be to save ourselves from ourselves?
- 20:23Would that be the reason that a Melchizedek and his 11.
- 20:26Melchizedek receivers would appear in the sky and maybe
- 20:30above the clouds and make this miraculous moment.
- 20:34Would that be it? Would it be that the revelation
- 20:36is that a lot of these UFOs are in fact spiritual beings that
- 20:42are here to tell us, hey, guess what we're here is?
- 20:46Is that how they would reveal themselves?
- 20:49What would be the purpose of revealing Melchizedek?
- 20:52What would his reason for for to prepare the way for the second
- 20:55coming. Well, many of us already know
- 20:57about the second coming, so we have to think about where would
- 21:01man have to be in order to reap the benefit of having the
- 21:05visitation of either a Melchizedek or perhaps another
- 21:11magisterial son that we haven't thought of.
- 21:15Is that possible? Maybe there would be a, a whole
- 21:17new personality that would be introduced to, we don't know,
- 21:21it's the unknowable. But what we do know is the
- 21:24Christ said he would return, but he would come at a time when we
- 21:30would all receive him. And we're not there yet.
- 21:33Unfortunately, we still have our work cut out for us.
- 21:36OK, so we've gone into all that. Let's get into some of the sound
- 21:41bites that are out there on social media and we our response
- 21:45is based on the perspective of a Urantia book reader.
- 21:49So here we go with the first clip.
- 21:51Archangel Gabriel Gabriel, Archangel Michael.
- 21:54When they talk, look, listen to them, they say.
- 21:56I, the Archangel Gabriel, who stands in the presence of God.
- 22:02I, the Archangel Michael, who stands in the presence of God.
- 22:06And you go to Revelation chapter 4, and you see the 24 elders.
- 22:11The 24 elders is the Church of Christ of both branches, the New
- 22:15and the Old Testament. So what?
- 22:17Who are the old, the Church of Christ, the human beings, people
- 22:21made out of dust. And John the Beloved says.
- 22:25And I saw the 24 elders sitting in the presence of God, not
- 22:29standing. Why?
- 22:32Because the sun sits while Daddy stands.
- 22:38But how dare a servant sit in the presence of his master?
- 22:43Their head will be chopped and they'll be kicked out.
- 22:47But he makes some interesting points about the importance of
- 22:50the spiritual personalities. Referring to Michael of course,
- 22:54and Gabriel. Not sure if I have an opinion as
- 22:57much as I like hearing him talk about that because not those two
- 23:01personalities don't get their their credit for what they what
- 23:05what who they are and what they've done.
- 23:07Let's listen to this. If Jesus is also God, who was he
- 23:12praying to? Well, the.
- 23:14Trinity is God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit, 3
- 23:18persons, one God. What's interesting, Jesus at one
- 23:22point, shortly before he was killed, got up before a group
- 23:25and he said I and the Father are one.
- 23:28But the Greek word for one there is not masculine as neuter.
- 23:32Which means Jesus was not saying I and the Father are the same
- 23:35person. He was saying I and the Father
- 23:38are the same thing. We're one in nature.
- 23:40We're one in essence and that's why people picked up stones to
- 23:43kill him because they said you're just a man and you're
- 23:45claiming to be God. But then.
- 23:46You go to John 14 just a couple chapters later and he says if
- 23:49you've seen me, you've seen the father.
- 23:51And then in Revelation 1 he says I am the alpha and the Omega,
- 23:55the beginning and the end. Well, the.
- 23:59Trinity has got the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit.
- 24:02You know they're. Still arguing about this today,
- 24:04even online, just about that very thing.
- 24:08It's the Trinity concept is still very difficult, but
- 24:12thankfully we have books like the Urantia book, which actually
- 24:15explain the Trinity in full detail in the 1st 12 papers of
- 24:19the book. And then you walk and then you
- 24:22have an understanding of the role of the group, the deity
- 24:26group, the Trinity versus the different aspects of of deity
- 24:33that all work for each other. So you have mind, matter,
- 24:36spirit, they all work together as a cohesive force, deities,
- 24:41all of those things. I mean, to me, it's like, I get
- 24:43it. I, I get the Trinity.
- 24:45I understand the role that the infinite spirit plays as the
- 24:48conjoint actor and the lineage of the, the infinite spirit and
- 24:53her daughters of the infinite spirit, the creative's daughter
- 24:57spirits. And then you've got the sons and
- 25:00that lineage. You've got the creator sons,
- 25:02you've got the Leninandek sons, the Melchizedek sons.
- 25:07So to me it's, it's, it's clear. And then the different agencies
- 25:12that work on behalf of the paradise deities.
- 25:14So you've got the mighty messengers who who work on
- 25:17behalf of the sun. And then you've got the, the
- 25:22master physical controllers who work under the direction of, of
- 25:27the God of matter, the master architects of the universe.
- 25:31I mean, it's amazing how God has set this up and it's the
- 25:35symmetry is just absolutely unbelievable.
- 25:39And it's unfortunate that more of our brothers and sisters
- 25:42don't understand that it's within this Trinity that makes
- 25:45this God the supreme, even possible.
- 25:48All these different converging infinite forces working together
- 25:52in the evolution of the of the universe.
- 25:54It's like music. It's like a Symphony, I think.
- 25:58All right, let's let's let's take a look at this one.
- 26:01This is from Shawn Ryan. Why they're so?
- 26:03Driven to rebuild the temple. So we're the chosen people now.
- 26:11Anybody who believes in Christ, that's chosen, that's.
- 26:14Right, which is actually the big mistake that people make is
- 26:17still thinking the Jews are the chosen people.
- 26:18They were, but they rejected their inheritance.
- 26:21They refused to accept Christ because even the Jewish religion
- 26:24was ultimately a lead up to and a partial revelation in
- 26:27relationship to Christ. So once he came, This is why
- 26:30Christ was so harsh on them. The first time I read this I was
- 26:33stunned. St.
- 26:33Thomas Aquinas actually makes the observation.
- 26:35He said that the prophets and the patriarchs of the Jews
- 26:39actually they knew that God was triune and they knew he was
- 26:41going to become Incarnate. They knew this we see this in
- 26:43the book of Isaiah. It's revealed in the book of
- 26:46Isaiah and it's revealed in in various parts of Scripture that
- 26:49they then so the Jews actually knew this.
- 26:51This is why Christ was so harsh on the Jews that when he came,
- 26:53he said he guys shouldn't you guys knew this.
- 26:55You know you're calling me that that make myself evil that the
- 26:57son of God. You knew that God was going to
- 26:58become Incarnate. It's basically what's being
- 27:00taught there. So the fact that they
- 27:02apostasized and rejected ultimately God in the end, which
- 27:05is why God gives them that. As I mentioned before, he gives
- 27:07them a one generation. So after Christ dies in the year
- 27:1070 AD, the Romans destroy Jerusalem.
- 27:14And that's why now the Jews aren't.
- 27:16None of the Jews are practicing their religion because none of
- 27:18them are offering sacrifice. That doesn't mean that they're
- 27:20not living up according to certain parts of the Old
- 27:23Testament and things of that sort, but they're not actually
- 27:25performing the ceremonial laws. Interesting.
- 27:28And that's why they're so driven to rebuild the Temple.
- 27:31Now, I don't know about all that stuff about building.
- 27:33That's by the way, that were the the person was speaking with
- 27:36Father Chad Reperger and the show was the Shaun Ryan show.
- 27:41And elements of that are obviously accurate because we
- 27:46know that when Jesus came, as I mentioned in the first part of
- 27:51this podcast, that the, the authorities, the religious
- 27:54authorities rejected Christ. And we know why.
- 27:57I mean, it would be obviously was a threat to their power
- 28:00structure. So that's that's what we know
- 28:04now, unfortunately, it's tragic because historically the Jews
- 28:09have been blamed about this for decades in millennia.
- 28:12So I don't want to dig up old wounds, but we understand that,
- 28:16yes. And, and even the Urantia book
- 28:18is specific that while the Jews were not quote the chosen people
- 28:23as depicted in the Old Testament, Abraham most
- 28:26certainly was a chosen individual.
- 28:29Melchizedek single handedly pointed this out in in the
- 28:34Urantia book. It talks about how the
- 28:36Melchizedeks had been observing the genetic history of Abraham
- 28:41and his ancestors and they were expecting that at some point a
- 28:45man of great nobility and intelligence would be born into
- 28:49this family. And it turned out to be Abraham.
- 28:53And Abraham carried the he carried the truth.
- 28:55Remember, the story is that Melchizedek was here to prepare
- 28:59the way because he knew that Michael was going to be
- 29:03incarnated on this planet. I mean, that knowledge had been
- 29:06around since back in Adam and Eve's day, but the truth had
- 29:11been lost through time. And so it was up to Abraham and
- 29:16his offspring to continue this truth so that they would be
- 29:20prepared, the Jewish people, for the appearance of of the Creator
- 29:25Son, the bestowal son. And then unfortunately, we all
- 29:29know how it ended. Another another fascinating clip
- 29:34here for you. Who was the 1st to witness?
- 29:36The Resurrection. All four.
- 29:37Gospels talk about women being among the first to experience
- 29:41and see Jesus Christ after the resurrection.
- 29:43Luke's account specifically mentions a group of women at the
- 29:46tomb, including Mary Magdalene, Joanna, and Mary, the mother of
- 29:49James. Matthew goes a little deeper and
- 29:51says it was Mary Magdalene and the other Mary that first
- 29:54encountered Jesus together after leaving the tomb.
- 29:57Mark's account, though it's a little questionable, states that
- 30:00Jesus appeared first to Mary Magdalene, but it's John that
- 30:03really zooms in and focuses on Mary Magdalene as the very first
- 30:08one to encounter Jesus. She first mistakes him for the
- 30:11gardener, then realizes who Jesus is, calls him out by name,
- 30:15and is sent out by Jesus to go and declare his resurrection to
- 30:19the other apostles. It's why the Eastern Orthodox
- 30:22Church and the Roman Catholic Church both call her the Apostle
- 30:25to the Apostles, because she was the very first person to bring
- 30:29the message of the resurrection to the Apostle.
- 30:32And that is from the Awakening Media Company talking about the
- 30:36first person to see the risen Jesus after the resurrection.
- 30:41And I'm also very happy that the Arantia book goes to great
- 30:45lengths to talk about not only how Jesus treated women during
- 30:50an age when women were not treated very well and how he
- 30:53rose them up and gave them dignity.
- 30:55And then it's also important that they were so instrumental
- 30:59in the early spread of of Jesus's teachings, the women's
- 31:03evangelical core. And it's sad to report that
- 31:06history completely omitted them from Scripture, from the
- 31:11gospels. But what I can report is for
- 31:14women who want to know how Christ treated women in his age
- 31:20and certainly how Adam and Eve coexisted.
- 31:23And then if you want to get really down and dirty, read
- 31:27about what is it the they do it every year.
- 31:32What is that event? And it occurs right after the
- 31:37final resurrection, the final bestowal, the Jubilee, the
- 31:41Jubilee of Jubilees. That's what it is.
- 31:45All right, so let's see what this I started going to that
- 31:48empty Catholic Church and I would sit in the back Pew and I
- 31:50would argue with the crucifix every day I would be there and I
- 31:53would tell Jesus, you're not the Son of God because there is no
- 31:57Son of God. Why are you doing this to me?
- 31:59Leave me alone. And I would just be angry.
- 32:02And I would say that to him. And then I'd tell him about my
- 32:05day. And by the time I walked out, I
- 32:06had peace and I would show up the next day.
- 32:09And I was in marketing. So I had Jesus on my schedule
- 32:12every single day except on Sunday because Sundays people
- 32:15went to church and I couldn't go in.
- 32:16So I wasn't happy about it. So I couldn't wait for Monday to
- 32:19go tell him he's not the Son of God.
- 32:21And so I did that every single day.
- 32:23You're not the Son of God. And months went by with this
- 32:27argument, and finally one day God had enough of me.
- 32:31And I walked into that church again, alone, empty church, sat
- 32:36down, and I started, You're not the Son of God.
- 32:39And that day in that empty Catholic Church, I heard the
- 32:43voice of God echo, and I heard it with my ears.
- 32:46And he said to me, who are you to tell me who I can be and
- 32:51cannot be? If you really want to know the
- 32:53truth, go and come back like a child and I will tell you the
- 32:57truth. I ran out of the church.
- 33:00I had no doubt God had just spoken to me.
- 33:02That voice echoed in that church and it was powerful and it was
- 33:07firm, but it was also loving and it wasn't a voice because I knew
- 33:13Allah where Allah just dictates. This was the voice of a father
- 33:18who just scolded me. But he also told me, if you want
- 33:21the truth, which means there is a truth, come back like a child.
- 33:26And he gave me a promise. I will tell you the truth.
- 33:30And so I came back. And when I walked into that
- 33:33church, I knew my life was going to change.
- 33:36I knew I was going to pay a price for this truth, but I
- 33:40wanted it at all cost. It was worth it.
- 33:43I came in and I sat down and I emptied my mind of what I've
- 33:47been taught for 40 years. And I said to him, tell me
- 33:52that's all I said. And in that instant there was a
- 33:56bolt of light that came from that crucifix and it hit my
- 33:59heart and it went through my body and I started to shake and
- 34:03cry, sobbing because in front of me was Jesus.
- 34:08And all that my mouth could say was I believe.
- 34:11I believe. And in that moment I had never
- 34:13gotten on my knees. But in that moment I felt like
- 34:15my knees gave way. And I collapsed on my knees
- 34:18sobbing and saying, I believe. I believe.
- 34:20You are the Son of God. I believe, I believe because at
- 34:24the name of Jesus every knee shall bend and every tongue
- 34:27confess that He is Lord to the glory of God the Father.
- 34:30When truth stands in front of you, you cannot deny it.
- 34:35I was expecting a philosophy or some words that God was going to
- 34:38reveal the truth about. I was not prepared to face truth
- 34:42himself because truth is a person and His name is Jesus
- 34:46Christ of Nazareth. I started going and that comes
- 34:48from a woman by the name of Ali for God, glory, an admitted
- 34:53Muslim and she had that experience and she says, I know
- 34:56that this is it. I'm I'm going to be paying a
- 34:59price for this one. That's a tough call.
- 35:02It takes a lot of courage. You know, I, I, I, I've told
- 35:06people this, you know, people ask me, you know, why do you put
- 35:09so much time and energy into the Urantia book?
- 35:10And I said because I had already believed in Christ before I even
- 35:14started reading the Urantia book.
- 35:15But once you read something or once you are looking at
- 35:19something and you know that it has that ring of truth, you,
- 35:23you, I mean, what are you supposed to do?
- 35:25Say no, that's not true. Even though my mind is accepted
- 35:28that what I have in my possession is has what, by what
- 35:33other measure? So, and, and this woman tells a
- 35:36very courageous story. I wonder, and it's not an old
- 35:39video, so it's fairly recent. I wonder if you if you've had
- 35:44that shared experience as well? This is interesting because I
- 35:48think that every human being who is self-conscious understands
- 35:52exactly what this person is talking about, no?
- 35:56If you sit quietly for a moment and just observe what's
- 35:59happening inside your head, you'll notice something rather
- 36:02extraordinary. There's this constant chatter
- 36:05going on, an endless stream of commentary, of narration, of
- 36:10conversation with yourself, about yourself.
- 36:13It never stops. Even right now, as you're
- 36:16listening to me, there's probably another voice in your
- 36:19head commenting on what I'm saying, agreeing or disagreeing,
- 36:22planning what to think next, wondering if you've understood
- 36:26correctly, perhaps even talking about the fact that it's
- 36:30talking. This internal dialogue is so
- 36:32constant, so pervasive, that most people don't even notice it
- 36:36anymore. It's like the hum of a
- 36:38refrigerator that you only hear when someone points it out.
- 36:42You know, that's from Richard Victor Richmond post that.
- 36:45And there's so much truth of that because we know, or at
- 36:49least from what the Urantia book talks about, how the mechanism
- 36:52of the mind works on a conscious level, on a subconscious level,
- 36:56and even on a super conscious level when our spirit fragment
- 37:00is trying to influence and make us more spiritually aroused, if
- 37:05you will. And so it is interesting how we
- 37:08have that mechanism of the brain that is super material and it's
- 37:12not bound by time and it's not bound by space, but it's there
- 37:16and it's it's a if. My question is, I don't think
- 37:20many people even are aware or are conscious of what their mind
- 37:25is doing. They almost are in autopilot.
- 37:28That's sort of what I take from this.
- 37:31Anyway, we've got time for one more watch.
- 37:33How Paul Rudd changes their mind to There's actually a good
- 37:35lesson in this if you guys. Could go back in time and spend
- 37:39the day of anyone from history, who would you choose apart from
- 37:42the Wright brothers? Obviously anyone from history
- 37:43who would Who would we choose? That's a great.
- 37:46Question. I know my answer.
- 37:48Go ahead. Jesus Christ.
- 37:52By the way, laugh all you want and it seems like it would be a
- 37:55wrong thing to say he existed. Yeah, we know you.
- 37:59So wouldn't you want to spend some time with him and go?
- 38:02Jesus, what's the deal? Did you think of?
- 38:05What's the deal? True.
- 38:06Yeah, Yeah. I mean, I probably, it sounds
- 38:09great. It is no genuinely fantastic.
- 38:10Answer but and it. Sounds like you say this and
- 38:12people think like, whoa, whoa, whoa, you can't say that.
- 38:14And I'd say, well, why? No, That's who I would do.
- 38:17That's true. That's why I called this episode
- 38:20Jesus. What's the deal?
- 38:22Now you know where the title came from.
- 38:24Listen, I'll be on a mini vacation of sorts, traveling W
- 38:29visiting family and friends and then we'll be back.
- 38:32So if there's a little bit of a delay, I'll try to do an episode
- 38:35while I'm traveling, but if I'm not able to, we will reconvene
- 38:41in the month of late. May is probably when I'll be
- 38:45back. So hang tight and you're in
- 38:47charge until I get back. See you next time on the Rancho
- 38:50Radio Podcast.
