  the first Robbie g podcast of the year. Won't be too long of a

  one. I don't really have that many topics. I've actually had an infection

  that started with my tooth and ended up going into really banded infection. I

  was really sick all week, including today, so I really I've been at
• 3:07
  home and pretty much in bed all week, so I didn't have a lot
• 3:10
  of time to put it together a huge show. But we do got a
• 3:14
  few things to talk about NFL. Obviously, I'll have my picks for Week
• 3:16
  eighteen, and we'll talk Michigan and Washington who won their bowl games and are
• 3:23
  going on to the National Championship Game on Monday night. I'm excited for that
• 3:27
  game. That's gonna be a fun one. But yeah, so here we
• 3:30
  go. Let's talk some NFL really quick. Let's do my Week eighteen predictions.

  Here we go. So Saturday, there's two games. Oh. Last
• 3:40
  week I did go twelve and four, which is one of my best weeks
• 3:44
  that I've had. And for the year, I'm one fifty and one hundred
• 3:50
  and five for fifty eight point eighty two percent, so not horrible. I'm
• 3:53
  almost at sixty percent for the year. We'll see how I do this week.

  Saturday's games, we got two of them on the docket. There's the
• 4:00
  Steelers and the Ravens. I've got the Ravens taking that one and basically going
• 4:06
  into the playoffs on fire. That's definitely gonna happen. Now I could be
• 4:12
  wrong, though. The Steelers have come on pretty decent, so there could
• 4:15
  be an upset and it depends on Lamar Jackson. Will he start, will
• 4:18
  he not start? Who knows. They'll probably announce that in the next couple
• 4:21
  of days. Texans and the Colts. In the last Saturday game, I
• 4:27
  got the Texans beating the Colts. Sunday the noon games. There is no
• 4:30
  Thursday night football and there is no Monday night football this week, so everything
• 4:34
  is Saturday and Sunday. So here's the Sunday games, the Browns and the
• 4:38
  Bengals. I got the Brownies winning that one. Vikings and the Lions.
• 4:44
  Vikings are gonna make sure that they have no chance with the playoffs, and
• 4:47
  they're gonna do what the Vikings do, and that's lose. So they're gonna
• 4:50
  lose. The Lions on that one. Jags and Titans. I got the
• 4:54
  Jaguars, the Jets and the Patriots. I got the Jets winning that one.

  Falcons and Saints. I got the Saints trying to still make the playoffs,
• 5:04
  beating the Falcons, knocking them completely out. Bears already did a number
• 5:09
  on them last week, but I think the Saints finish off the job.

  And then of course we have the Bucks on the Panthers. Panthers are gonna
• 5:16
  lose that game and they will have won a two and fifteen record for the
• 5:20
  year. And yeah, so I got the Bucks in that one. Three
• 5:25
  o'clock games, the Bears and the Packers and lambeau Field three to twenty five.

  Huge game with big implications. The Packers can actually lose their playoff spot
• 5:35
  that they're gonna have if they lose that game. And here's the issue.

  If the Bears beat them and then the Seahawks win, Packers are out.
• 5:46
  Packers I believe have a win and in situation, lose and they could still
• 5:53
  not make the playoffs. So the Bears could do something amazing in that game.

  We'll talk about that in a few minutes, though, Broncos and Raiders.

  I've got the Broncos winning that one, Eagles and the Giants. Oh,

  I did pick the Bears in that one. Bears over Packers. Giants
• 6:08
  are gonna lose to the Eagles, Seahawks and Cardinals. Seahawks are gonna get
• 6:12
  into the playoffs, and they're gonna win that game against the Cardinals. Chief
• 6:15
  and Chargers. I've got the Chiefs with the win there. Even though they
• 6:18
  are gonna rest Mahomes, Kelsey and all them. I still think the Chiefs
• 6:23
  are gonna win in that game against the Chargers, Rams and forty nine Ers.

  I got the Rams over the forty nine Ers. I heard the forty
• 6:29
  nine Ers are sitting pretty much all their players. And then the Cowboys and
• 6:33
  Washington as of right now, Cowboys are starting their starters. I heard Michael
• 6:38
  Lamb and all of them and Dak are gonna play as of right now.
• 6:41
  So I got the Cowboys over Washington. And then Sunday night football Bills and
• 6:45
  Dolphins. I got the Bills winning that game. So it's gonna be a
• 6:48
  fun weekend of football Saturday and Sunday, we'll see who makes the playoffs.

  There's still a few spots open where people are fighting for that, including the
• 6:59
  Green Bay Packers who need to beat the Bears. And I know that sounds
• 7:03
  like an easy task for the Packers, but I don't think this Bears team
• 7:08
  is gonna lay down. And I'll tell you now, Justin Fields, in
• 7:12
  since he's come back from his injury, looks like a completely different quarterback.
• 7:15
  I don't know if he needed that injury to get some perspective. I don't
• 7:19
  know if playing Bagent was like something that lit a fire under him. But
• 7:26
  Justin Fields does not look like the same player he did before his injury.
• 7:30
  He's going out there, he's making better decisions, he's got less turnovers.
• 7:34
  I mean, he's throwing more, he's running when he has to. Again,
• 7:39
  he's basically doing what he could have did from the beginning of the year.

  Here's the thing that I want to tell people, though at the beginning
• 7:46
  of the season, I picked the Bears at eight to ten wins. Most
• 7:49
  of the national media picked the Bears to win seven games for the year,
• 7:57
  and believe it or not, with the oz to four start that they had,
• 8:01
  they have the seven wins that they were projected to get. With one
• 8:03
  game left, they could get eight. Here's the thing. They are at
• 8:07
  expectations. Their expectations were seven to eight wins, and that's where they're at.
• 8:13
  So why are people still hating on the Bears Because it's the cool thing
• 8:16
  to do. But it's not gonna be so cool next year when the Bears
• 8:22
  bring in another wide receiver for Justin Fields, a better center, a couple
• 8:26
  offensive linemen, maybe another pass rusher. I'm gonna tell you this now.
• 8:33
  This Bears team next year wins ten or eleven games if they carry in this
• 8:39
  defense and offense that they've been doing the last four or five weeks. They're
• 8:43
  four and one in the last five games. The one loss they were up
• 8:46
  by twelve and blew it to the Browns. The Bears were three losses that
• 8:52
  should have been wins away from being in that playoff picture right now, and
• 8:58
  shocking the three games that they were behind that they they were up that they
• 9:05
  should have won Broncos, Lions, Browns three wins they should have had because
• 9:15
  they were up with plenty of time left for them to assault the game away
• 9:18
  and be done. One more field goal, one more touchdown would have salted
• 9:24
  the game for them. Defense collapsing giving up too many points at the end.

  If the Bears have won those three games, they would be sitting right
• 9:35
  now at ten wins, ten and five right now, or ten and six,
• 9:43
  actually, they'd be at ten and six right now with one game left,
• 9:46
  and they would be in the playoff run. Because if you look right
• 9:50
  now and where the teams are in the NFC playoff picture, and I'm gonna
• 9:56
  go over that now with you guys, NFC and AFC playoff standings. Here's

  the NFL playoff pictures. This is what it looks like. We'll start with
• 10:07
  the NFC because that's where the Bears and the Packers play right now. The
• 10:11
  forty nine Ers are sitting in the number one spot with a bye week as
• 10:18
  of now. Now remember they are gonna sit their starters, so they may
• 10:26
  lose and be twelve and five on the ear Cowboys could win. I don't
• 10:31
  think that the forty nine ers will be sitting their guys out if there was
• 10:35
  a chance for the Cowboys to take that spot or the Lions. So I'm
• 10:37
  pretty sure the forty nine ers already know they haven't clinched. Cowboys Lions eleven
• 10:43
  and five, Eagles eleven and five, they are in spots two, three,
• 10:50
  five and six a No. Two, three and five, Cowboys,
• 10:56
  Lions, Eagles all eleven and five. The Rams are sitting in the sixth
• 11:01
  spot at nine and seven. The Buccaneers are in the number four spot with
• 11:09
  an eight and eight record. They will most likely if they win their division,
• 11:15
  that's it. Then they get it, so they'll be in that number
• 11:18
  four spot. Packers eight and eight sitting in that spot, Seahawks out of
• 11:24
  the bubble eight and eight. Say it's eight and eight, Vikings seven and
• 11:28
  nine, Falcons seven and nine. The Bears eliminated at seven and nine,
• 11:33
  So if the Bears would have won even two of those games that they lost,
• 11:39
  they would be sitting in the spot where the La Rams are right now.
• 11:43
  They would have beat the Lions when they were up on them, if
• 11:46
  they would have beat the Browns or the Broncos, they would have had a
• 11:50
  spot in the playoffs right now. Or win all three, they would be
• 11:52
  ten and seven or ten and six right now and would be sitting alone in
• 11:56
  that number six spot. This will be over. This would be done.

  The Buccaneers, the Packers, the Seahawks, the Saints, the Vikings,
• 12:09
  the Falcons all would be out and the Bears would be sitting in that spot.

  But that's okay, because if the Bears beat the Packers, we will
• 12:28
  most likely send the Packers packing because the Seahawks would win nine, the Saints
• 12:37
  would win nine. If the Saints win their game, they would need the
• 12:41
  Seahawks and the Saints to lose, and I believe the Rams too to get
• 12:50
  that number six spots. So yeah, if the Bears beat the Packers,
• 12:56
  it's gonna be officially done for them. And I think the Bears win,
• 13:00
  and I think it's gonna be a close one, but I think the Bears
• 13:03
  win thirty one to twenty seven. It's gonna be a great game. So
• 13:07
  make sure you stay tuned for that. Another thing I want to talk about

  is the AFC playoff picture. Let's look at that. So right now,
• 13:16
  you've got the Ravens at thirteen and three officially they clinched that spot. You
• 13:22
  got the Dolphins at number two, you got the Chiefs at number three,
• 13:28
  at ten and six, you got the Browns at eleven and five and number
• 13:31
  five in the hunt. You got the Jaguars at nine and seven. They
• 13:35
  are in the number four spot. Right now, the Bills at ten and
• 13:39
  six, the Colts at nine and seven on the bubble, the Texans at
• 13:43
  nine and seven, and the Steelers at nine and seven. I think we
• 13:48
  end up with the Ravens, the Dolphins, the Chiefs. I think the
• 13:52
  Jaguars clinch their spot, the Browns. I think the Bills and the Colts
• 14:05
  keep their spots, and so I think that the Texan Steelers get eliminated and
• 14:09
  don't make the playoffs. Next week I will have my playoff predictions for the
• 14:16
  wildcard weekend, so we'll be doing that now. This is my last week

  for that. Next week, I'll have a lot better show. Obviously,

  being sick this week, I didn't really have a chance to come up with

  any cool topics for everybody. There's really not much else going on in the

  Jim Harbaugh is gonna get his national championship, and yeah, so that's

  what I think is gonna happen with that. But I basically wanted to talk

  more about my football predictions and everything this week, Like I said, it's

  a shorter show. I've only been on for fifteen minutes. But I've been

  sick the whole week with this infection from my tooth, and so it's kind
• 15:05
  of taking a number on me this week. But I'm feeling better, and
• 15:09
  next week I should be back to work at my day job and doing this
• 15:13
  again and back to my normal routine a little bit. So next week's show,

  hopefully it's gonna be a little bit better. But yeah, so that's

  what we're gonna do. I'm gonna do this and I'm gonna take off for
