- 0:04We are faith and fury.
- 0:06Love and fire.
- 0:09This is the human equation.
- 0:11Where every voice counts and every truth cuts deep.
- 0:17With your host, Joseph Packard.
- 0:20Good evening, everybody, and welcome to the human equation.
- 0:24Well, I guess there's no way of getting around all of the things that are going on right now.
- 0:29Would I like to talk about some personal human things, uh, things that I I know bother a lot of people or make people happy?
- 0:37Sure.
- 0:37But I don't think we can I don't think we could turn our attention away from what's going on in the Middle East and how our uh politicians are handling this mess and what's going on.
- 0:52So we see Again, we see Trump derangement syndrome front and center for our friends on the left.
- 1:00Uh if Trump wants to do it, they're against it.
- 1:02Doesn't matter what it is, they will fight him about it.
- 1:05Uh here he is, he attacks Iran, who has been who has been attacking us in the United States and the West for 47 years, almost 50 years.
- 1:16And when they finally get to the to the tipping point that one of their one of their delegation told uh our delegation when they were negotiating last week before all the uh the attacks took off that they have enough material for eleven bombs and uh nuclear bombs, and they could put them together pretty quickly.
- 1:41Well, um you know what they could do with eleven nuclear bombs.
- 1:46So I had this conversation with a young man the other day.
- 1:51He he considers himself a democratic socialist.
- 1:55But unlike many people on the left, and I have to say this honestly, unlike many people on the left, he's a thoughtful young man who has some good ideas, and he actually articulates his point very well, and he's willing to listen, which that's how I do things.
- 2:12I say to him all the time, you know, we have these conversations, and they say, okay, well, well, tell me what what where do I have this wrong?
- 2:19And he will make his point.
- 2:21Uh and sometimes he's got a good point, and sometimes he doesn't.
- 2:26So when I was talking to him the other day, he his big thing comes down to, and this is not just one conversation.
- 2:33This was multiple conversations him and I have had, because he's a good source for me to hear what people on the left are thinking.
- 2:39He's he's really he's really in that world.
- 2:42And like I said, he's easy to talk to.
- 2:45And he says, uh all of his conversations come down to they're just afraid of Trump.
- 2:51They're afraid because of the things he says.
- 2:54Uh the things he said historically, the things he says now when he's speaking off the cuff, or when he's making a a flippant comment or something like that.
- 3:04And this fear that they seem to have is the guiding force behind being against everything that he does or everything that he wants to do.
- 3:15And I said, Well, what do you mean you you're afraid?
- 3:17You're what what are you so afraid of?
- 3:19Well, well, uh you he could he could uh he could start a World War III with the things that he does.
- 3:25Look what he's doing.
- 3:26He's going into uh he's going into Venezuela, and now he's in uh in Iran, and then you know, where's he gonna go next?
- 3:32Was he was he gonna attack Poland next and take that over?
- 3:37And I could see, and like I said, he's a reasonable kind of guy, but this fear that him and and many on the left seem to have.
- 3:46There's two things on the left I think that's problematic for them.
- 3:50One is they have Trump derangement syndrome.
- 3:52So anything that Trump does, they're against it.
- 3:54Doesn't matter what it is.
- 3:55I'm gonna save babies.
- 3:57Those babies didn't want to be saved.
- 3:58How dare you save those babies, right?
- 4:00Leave them alone.
- 4:01Um they're standing up now to support, they're they're in the streets marching to support the dead Ayatollah, who would kill you and me and our families in two seconds if he could.
- 4:12So our friends on the left are supporting them.
- 4:14So this fear that he has.
- 4:17And I say, well, don't you understand we've seen Donald Trump in the first term.
- 4:22And he didn't start World War III.
- 4:24He didn't he didn't kill us.
- 4:25He didn't round up all these people that were all these fringe left wing groups that were scared to death that he was gonna round them up and uh put them in concentration camps and beat them and you know, ridiculous.
- 4:40I said, Don't you see that the guy says things sometimes to to get the goat of these people that are that are commenting about him?
- 4:49Don't you see how he says things and it it's he he sees how they react and they lose their minds, right?
- 4:55And he's like, Well, I know, but I j I I'm just scared to death when he said and I said, then that's the problem.
- 5:00You're scared to death.
- 5:01Take a deep breath and stop being so scared to death.
- 5:05What is he what has he actually done?
- 5:08Okay, so he went into Venezuela.
- 5:10Why did he go into Venezuela?
- 5:12Because he wants the oil.
- 5:13That's always the answer.
- 5:14He wants the oil, he wants the oil, as though he's gonna get it himself and fill his car up or take billions of dollars from it.
- 5:21I said, Well, let's look at Venezuela.
- 5:23The leader there is a narco-terrorist, right?
- 5:26He's a narco-terrorist helping to send uh tons and tons and tons of illegal drugs into our country that are killing hundreds of thousands of our citizens.
- 5:36He was indicted for his crimes.
- 5:40He wouldn't turn himself in, Maduro.
- 5:42He refused to turn himself in.
- 5:44So Trump sent our military in to go get him.
- 5:48Did we blow up the buildings?
- 5:50Did we knock down their city?
- 5:51Did we kill all their citizens?
- 5:53No.
- 5:54They swept in, they grabbed Maduro and his wife, who were indicted, and they pulled them out of there.
- 6:02Okay, seems pretty reasonable thing to do.
- 6:05Why?
- 6:05Because that's in our hemisphere.
- 6:08And i talking with him, when he when he hears that, he goes, Okay, well, he didn't blow up all the buildings like he's doing in Iran.
- 6:16I said, he's not blowing up all the buildings in Iran.
- 6:20He is over there attacking their military assets, their uh secret police assets, their terrorist assets, the leadership that is radical uh fundamentalist Islamic terrorists.
- 6:37He's going after them.
- 6:38He's not blowing up uh the local library, right?
- 6:42And he just the sphere thing is just really it's really surprising to me, because I get it.
- 6:48People say things off the cuff, but you have to look at what they do.
- 6:51How do they actually uh how do they actually function?
- 6:54I told everybody uh in a previous show, a very, very good friend of mine has two boys, the age of my two older boys.
- 7:04And when they were younger, we used to go on camping trips and we, you know, we would go golfing together, the four of us, and um, you know, the kids and me and my buddy, and we were very close with them.
- 7:15You know, he was a drinking buddy, cigar buddy, and our boys were very close, they were all friendly.
- 7:22Well, you know, as as it happens, the kids get to high school and you're not you're not together as much as you used to be, right?
- 7:28You know, when they were younger in sixth, seventh and eighth grade, fifth, sixth, seventh, and eighth grade.
- 7:32We were together all the time.
- 7:34The wives were friendly, they would come here for dinner, we would go there for dinner, um, we would go out together.
- 7:39We were we were a close group, right?
- 7:41That's two families.
- 7:44And as high school came along, the kids got into all kinds of different interests, you know, who was doing this sport, who was doing this club who was into whatever.
- 7:53And his oldest son, my friend's oldest son, um seemed to kind of pull himself away from everybody.
- 8:02He was getting kind of reclusive, and nobody could see what was going on.
- 8:07I remember talking to his dad about it, and he's like, I'm not sure what's going on with him, but you know, he seems to have something bothering him, and I can't get to him, and we all felt bad because we really like this kid.
- 8:17And uh about two years goes by, and yeah, and believe it or not, there was a two-year gap.
- 8:22Once the kids, you know, separate and everybody's running in different directions and and doing things, it it can easily turn into that, right?
- 8:30So our in our case it did.
- 8:31You know, we saw each other once in a while, where we used to be together two times a week, at least, the two families, right?
- 8:38So time goes by and high school's over, and I hear that his son is moving to New York City.
- 8:44He's moving to Brooklyn.
- 8:46And I'm like, wow, well, that's pretty cool, you know.
- 8:48That's not something I would have expected from him.
- 8:50He seemed like a homebound kind of guy, you know, he very smart kid, I'm telling you, very, very smart.
- 8:56Um I have an interest in astronomy.
- 8:58This kid had an interest in astronomy.
- 8:59We would talk about uh the stars and origins of life and all that kind of stuff.
- 9:04He was really a really a nice young man, um, really was.
- 9:08But he's moving to Brooklyn.
- 9:10And my oldest comes to me and goes, hey dad, and I'm not gonna use the kid's real name.
- 9:15Um let's call him Larry.
- 9:17He goes, hey dad, did you see what's going on with Larry?
- 9:20And I said, No, what are you talking about?
- 9:23He goes, uh on Facebook, he he has um he's changed his name to to uh Tina, right?
- 9:31Again, that's not the name he's using.
- 9:33He's changed his name to Tina, and he moved to Brooklyn, and he announced to everybody in the world that that he's gay and he he wants to be a woman.
- 9:43And I was like, are you sure that we're this is our Larry you're talking about?
- 9:48And he goes, yeah, he goes, I I was I was just as surprised.
- 9:51Like I I saw a message from him and I reached out and he said, Listen, you know, this is what I was struggling with, you know, through high school, and I finally
- 10:00Figured out who I am and this is who I am, and I'm happy now and I'm living my life and this then the other thing.
- 10:06You know what?
- 10:07Okay.
- 10:09You figured yourself out.
- 10:10All right.
- 10:11It's it's not something that I would do, but this is what he was happy with.
- 10:15That made him happy.
- 10:17And I said, okay, well, you know, you you love your kids, you you accept them however they are, right?
- 10:22And and I have always said that.
- 10:24Um I would try and guide my children to what I think is the best thing for them.
- 10:29But they're gonna make their own choices.
- 10:31And this young man made this choice, and his parents were they were upset because they didn't understand it.
- 10:36They didn't understand what it meant.
- 10:39Um they didn't understand what the future was, you know, because it changes everything.
- 10:42There's going to be no no wedding, no grandchildren, you know, all that kind of thing.
- 10:46So it's a hard thing, I think, sometimes for families to deal with.
- 10:49And they were pretty open-minded about it.
- 10:50They didn't hate the kid, they didn't disown the kid, you know, none of us would do that.
- 10:55You know, he he was he was a good young man, everybody loved him.
- 10:58But I remember right before the election in 2016, I got a text message from this young man from Larry.
- 11:07And he says, Hey, I'm just checking in, you know, I'm uh, you know, I know we haven't talked in a long time, and and I'm just, you know, I I got this uh I got some concerns about this upcoming election, and and I wanted to reach out to you and and and see what you think about the election.
- 11:23I said, okay, let's talk, right?
- 11:25So we got on a phone call, and we start talking, and you know, of course, Chichet, how you doing, what's going on?
- 11:30Hey, I seen I see you changed your name to Tina, and you know, what's going on with that?
- 11:35And you know, he was honest, is this is who I am.
- 11:37I just I it was hard for me to figure it out, and I figured it out, okay, that's great.
- 11:41I'm happy for you.
- 11:42I'm happy that you are happy and you're no longer uh in such angst.
- 11:47I said, Well, what about this this election?
- 11:49Um what can I help you with?
- 11:52And he goes, Well, I know, you know, you and my dad are uh uh you're more conservative, and obviously I'm not, and I'm like, well, just because you're gay doesn't mean you're not conservative.
- 12:03Conservative is is uh understanding of a lifestyle, it's understanding of how you view the world, what's right and what's wrong, right?
- 12:10So um nobody's saying you're wrong about anything you're doing, you know, you believe in God, you believe in country, you believe in this, Danny, and he went to church all the time, right?
- 12:18Well, he starts telling me that he's concerned about Trump.
- 12:23That a matter of fact, he's scared about Trump, scared to the point that he can't function.
- 12:31And I said, Okay, well, what exactly are you scared of?
- 12:35And he just he he he went off.
- 12:39The kid went off, he starts there he's going to come around, he's going to put us all in concentration camps, he's going to take all of us and make us go straight, he's going to uh put our our our loved ones in jail, and he's gonna and I'm saying, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa there, Tina.
- 12:57Um what makes you think the rest of us would allow that to happen?
- 13:04I said, Do you think I would allow somebody to take you and put you in a concentration camp just because you're gay?
- 13:11He goes, Well, it's not you, it's not you, it's this Trump guy.
- 13:14He's gonna do it.
- 13:15You don't know, they're not coming after you, they're coming after me.
- 13:18And he spiraled out of control and he hung up.
- 13:21And I was in shock by that.
- 13:25Well, the reason I'm telling you this story is that it kind of matches this young man that I'm talking about all the time now, because him and I have these conversations, and he's scared.
- 13:35They're scared, they're scared about what Trump's gonna do instead of looking at what Trump's doing.
- 13:40So I find that it it just seems more more radical than it's ever been.
- 13:48This fear, this, you know, this this tugging between two different sides and and who we are as a country, and uh it it's just it's disturbing.
- 13:57It's disturbing.
- 13:59And as we start to go through these things, um I see them that they're stuck, right?
- 14:05They're stuck in their beliefs.
- 14:08They are stuck in um their understanding, and they can't break away.
- 14:15Um they can't break away from their beliefs or what they're afraid of, and and it led me into thinking that and I think I told you recently we did an episode where uh I'm writing a book called Unstuck.
- 14:29And it's my my latest work called Unstuck.
- 14:31It'll be out in a couple of months.
- 14:33I'll tell you about how to get it and all that.
- 14:35But it's all about when people get stuck in life, right?
- 14:40We all get stuck sometimes, right?
- 14:42Uh some people get stuck at a job they hate.
- 14:45Some people and they they don't feel they can move on.
- 14:47Some people get stuck uh in a relationship that's bad or it's toxic, and they don't feel they can leave, they don't feel they can change their lives in any way.
- 14:56Well, I also looked at um grief, you know, people get stuck in grief.
- 15:01As you all know, I've been very open about it.
- 15:03I'm I'm grieving.
- 15:04I lost my wife last summer, unexpectedly out of the blue, and I'm grieving, and I'm trying to learn how to survive and how to move forward, and that was one of my impetus, impetuses for for adding a whole chapter section on on grieving and being stuck.
- 15:20But I think I'm gonna have to add in there this fear, being stuck in this irrational fear of things that you you can't control.
- 15:29And believe me, it's um when I talk to a lot of these people, and I've I've interviewed a lot of people, I do a lot of research when I write a book, and I've been doing a lot of research on this, and and that fear thing on the left comes up over and over and over again to the point that they can't function.
- 15:45You know, my friend uh Tina, you know, he can't he can't get beyond it.
- 15:51Um he can't he can't change his life because he's he's such paranoid fear.
- 15:57This this young man I've been talking to recently and uh discussing world politics and everything that goes on, he's afraid of what Trump's gonna do, Trump's gonna get him killed, or Trump's gonna put him at the all have this irrational fear.
- 16:10They're stuck where they're at.
- 16:12And they can't seem to recognize it, right?
- 16:16Um I've recognized that the grief had me stuck.
- 16:22Uh I procrastinated the last six months.
- 16:24All I never procrastinate.
- 16:26But all of a sudden I felt every day was a challenge to do my do a project or to reach out to a client or to do something, and I realized that the procrastination.
- 16:37I was stuck in it because of the grief, and I had to work my way through it.
- 16:40So I can only imagine that all of these people that have these fears of Trump, these this like this blood-curdling fear that he's gonna do something to them, or or or you know, gonna kill everybody.
- 16:51Look, you know, I uh there was uh a friend of this young man.
- 16:55I I gotta give him a name.
- 16:56Let's call him Bob, this young man I've been talking to, Bob.
- 16:59And Bob uh Bob has a friend in one of these conversations, and she's also a left-wing Democrat socialist, and she's like, Well, look, look what's happening in Iran.
- 17:12They're killing all these protesters.
- 17:13I said, Yeah, you see what happens when you have a tyrannical government.
- 17:16Well, they're doing that, ICE is doing that with Americans.
- 17:19They're killing Americans left and right.
- 17:21I said, what do you what are you talking about?
- 17:23Killing Americans.
- 17:24They killed 30 or 40,000 people in Iran that were protesting for their freedom.
- 17:30What are you talking about?
- 17:32Well, uh Renee Good and uh and and that guy, Mr.
- 17:35Pretty, you know, they they were gunned down in the street because they were protesting.
- 17:39I said, Wow, um, there's a lot more to it than that, right?
- 17:44And I lost their mind.
- 17:45Trump's coming for all of us.
- 17:47If you disagree with him, he's gonna lock you up.
- 17:49He's he's under Iran right now, he's doing Iran's bidding, he's doing Iran's bidding, that's all they're can do.
- 17:55I mean, he's doing Israel's bidding.
- 17:57They're they're they're telling him to do it, and he's doing and spiraled out of control.
- 18:01She had to leave the room.
- 18:02She had to leave the room.
- 18:03She couldn't continue the conversation.
- 18:05Like, wow.
- 18:07That young lady is stuck in her mental illness.
- 18:10Um, right?
- 18:12What happened with the two people in Minnesota has nothing to do with the Ayatollah and his tyrannical regime gunning down thousands and thousands of civilians in the street because he feels that they're coming for his power.
- 18:30Apples and oranges, apples and oranges.
- 18:33So I found that to be a very interesting connection.
- 18:38And then, you know, here it is on a on a nice Friday night.
- 18:41I figured we would talk about it for a couple of minutes.
- 18:43All right, so what else is going on?
- 18:45There's there's a lot of other craziness going on out in the world that we're trying to we're trying to figure out how to how to deal with all these things.
- 18:53So we saw the House of Representatives had a vote.
- 18:57Our friends on the left, uh, they've kind of they've kind of deviated from the past traditions of there's an election, and then one person or one party wins the election, and then we all kind of accept, well, okay, that party or that person won, they're gonna do the things they campaigned on, right?
- 19:17That's how it usually works.
- 19:18What did Barack Obama say?
- 19:20Uh he was doing some things that conservatives and right wing people didn't like, and he came out and he goes, Hey, elections have consequences.
- 19:28I won, I'm gonna do what I want to do.
- 19:30And you know, we didn't protest in the street, we didn't vote against every single thing he did.
- 19:35He, you know, we didn't we didn't behave the way they're behaving now.
- 19:39But I think this current behavior on the part of uh our left wing politicians has changed the paradigm in how politics is done.
- 19:49There's no longer that, well, they won, so we will come up with better ideas, we will make our case for doing it a different way.
- 19:57We'll try and convince the American people that.
- 20:00Our way is a better way, and then we will have another election.
- 20:03And if we win, we'll do it our way, right?
- 20:05Now it's just it's resist at all costs.
- 20:09It is go against anything that Trump wants to do or the conservatives want to do.
- 20:15Protest, protest, protest, disrupt, uh, resist as much as you possibly can.
- 20:23So President Trump makes this decision that it's time it's time to stop the uh the Ayatollah and the mullahs in Iran who have made it very, very clear that they want to destroy America and destroy Israel.
- 20:42And they are looking for uh to to lead the new caliphate.
- 20:47Now it's a lot of people don't know these words.
- 20:48We just, you know, it's not disparaging to anybody, but we don't always understand.
- 20:53What is a caliphate?
- 20:55Well, a caliphate is uh is worldwide um government under Sharia law, under Islamic rule.
- 21:03That is what the Ayatollah and his people want.
- 21:07That's why when they took over Iran uh when they deposed the Shah back in 1979, Iran was a uh a more modern country.
- 21:18Women were doctors and lawyers and and physicians, and they they could go to school and you know, they dress normal and they looked like women.
- 21:26When the Shah was deposed, and Ayatollah Komenee back in the day, nineteen seventy-nine, the leader who was exiled to France, he came back and took over, and he turned Iran into a uh sixth century hellhole for the people.
- 21:42He he he instituted Sharia law, which are Islamic rules and laws of how to live.
- 21:49Uh it is very, very much um a patriarchy-based kind of you talk about women in this country that are complaining about it's a patriarchy, it's a patriarchy.
- 21:57Uh over there, it's a patriarchy.
- 21:59We talked about this the other day.
- 22:01Uh that is that's a patriarchy.
- 22:03Women have to cover themselves, you can't see them, they have to have a man with them at all times.
- 22:07Uh if you get raped, they can they can kill you, right?
- 22:10Because you got raped.
- 22:11It's your fault.
- 22:11Right?
- 22:12So it's it's it's it's really in depth, and people we don't understand it.
- 22:16We don't understand that kind of a mindset because we don't live there.
- 22:21So when I was talking to Bob, my socialist uh Democrat socialist friend, we were talking about these things, and I said, what you're trying to do in his comments, you know, he was trying to compare the people of Iran, the government of Iran with the United States.
- 22:38And I said, I I think what a lot of people make a mistake is that as Americans, we are we are used to our kind of lifestyle.
- 22:48Whether you like America, you don't like America, where you know, it doesn't matter.
- 22:52The reality is this is the greatest country on the planet.
- 22:56You have more freedoms here than anywhere else in the world.
- 23:00Uh you have the Constitution to back you up.
- 23:02Um it's really the best place ever to be as a human being in the history of human beings.
- 23:10And I know people argue with me about that.
- 23:12Well, America's a set.
- 23:13You know, pack your bag and leave.
- 23:14Why don't they leave?
- 23:16Because there is no place better.
- 23:18Uh, you know, uh, all these actors are gonna leave.
- 23:20They're I'm gonna leave if he wins, and then they don't leave.
- 23:22A couple of them did, but they're coming back, aren't they?
- 23:24Right.
- 23:25Because it's not it's there's nothing better out there than America.
- 23:28But anyway, we see this, and the Iranian government wants to spread um their understanding of Islam around the world, and that's what they've been doing.
- 23:40That's what all these groups, these terror groups that are associated with them are to do.
- 23:44Destroy Israel, then take over the West.
- 23:47Now, this is uh this has been pushed.
- 23:51And and I there's an article, there's an article out today.
- 23:54I I don't have the woman's name, but um maybe I can look it up on the break.
- 23:58And she says there's a an alliance developing, a red green alliance, a red-green alliance that's very dangerous.
- 24:06What is red green alliance?
- 24:08Well, the red represents radical Islamists, right?
- 24:12Like Iran, those kind of people, right?
- 24:15Uh not the regular Muslims who just live in your neighborhood and they're they're Muslim and they're they're raising their family and they're they're they're not radicalized.
- 24:23Right?
- 24:24So we're talking about these radical Islamists, uh, like in Iran.
- 24:29And the greens are the far left parties, which we see everywhere, all across the world.
- 24:34We see the governments, you know, we see all these uh left-wing governments all over Europe and open borders is one of their things, you know.
- 24:43Uh change the demographics by letting everybody in, and that'll change the culture.
- 24:47And it's really all just about power, right?
- 24:50It's not about taking care of people.
- 24:52But she's in her article, she's saying that there's this connection, uh, this red-green connection that the Islamists see the far left as people they can work with to do what they want to do, and the far left sees the Islamists as an opportunity to forward their agenda, so they're connecting together to uh uh uh uh attain both of the agendas that they both have, which are not freedom and liberty and justice and all that kind of stuff, no matter what they say.
- 25:25It's uh it's an advancement of power for the left, it's an advancement of power for the Islamists, and eventually we know you can put a uh a scorpion and a tarantula in a bucket and they won't bother each other until one the somebody wants that little piece of food and then they will fight and kill each other, which is normally what happens with these negative uh groups.
- 25:46You know, you had the uh the Nazis made an agreement with the Soviets, they wouldn't fight until Hitler felt strong enough, and then he turned on them, right?
- 25:54Uh oh, yo, Chamberlain's waving his piece of paper, oh, we're good, we're good until it suited him.
- 26:00When these people on the left and these tyrannical groups make agreements, like Iran.
- 26:06Iran makes an agreement, they're not gonna do this.
- 26:08The only reason they make agreements is to buy themselves time to continue doing the bad thing that they want to do without being bothered.
- 26:16So they make an agreement, shuts everybody up.
- 26:19Everybody's so happy, they're waving around their piece of paper like Chamberlain.
- 26:23And then when the moment's right, they strike.
- 26:27Okay?
- 26:28We'll be back in a minute to talk some more about this, and let's pray for our troops that they be safe in the world.

- 30:58Okay, we are back.
- 31:00I want to thank you all for being here.
- 31:02You know, the uh the human equation is it's it's our lives, it and that's what it is, and that's where you know I like to talk about how how we interact with each other, what goes on with each other?
- 31:13How do we how do we come to some consensus between us?
- 31:17How do we understand each other without calling each other names?
- 31:21Right?
- 31:22So recently, I'm gonna go back, I don't know, five or six shows ago.
- 31:25I had talked about some people who wrote to me, and you know, the the the left wing people, they they start out okay and then they lose their minds, screaming, hollering, foaming at the mouth, calling me names, blah, blah, blah, going on and on.
- 31:36You can't have a conversation with people like that.
- 31:38That's why my friend Bob, and I'm gonna introduce you to him formally.
- 31:41I think I'm gonna have him come on here because I think he he has value in what he says and how he thinks.
- 31:48I may not agree with his points of view, but I have seen some of the things that he talks about in a different way, because he sees it differently than I do, and he brings that information to the table, and that's what we should all be doing, I would think.
- 32:03Listen to each other, right?
- 32:05Listen.
- 32:05What's the saying uh about conversation that they said we don't not listen as people?
- 32:10We do not listen to understand the other person.
- 32:14We listen to respond.
- 32:16Right?
- 32:16So I have a point of view, and I'll listen to you, uh, and I'm uh oh well, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 32:21And then it's my turn and I'm gonna attack, right?
- 32:23I'm not listening to what you said.
- 32:25I'm just listening so I can respond to you and cause a problem or or prove you wrong, or win the argument and get stuck in my position.
- 32:33See how I'm trying to connect all these things together?
- 32:35Isn't that something?
- 32:37All right, so here we have this conflict going on in Iran.
- 32:42Now, when I was talking to Bob, and Bob is very nervous, scared of Trump, and he says, you know, why did we have to go in there?
- 32:50They had an agreement and Trump tore up the agreement, you know, and we it would have been good.
- 32:55And I said, Don't you see don't you see how these these um Axis kind of powers, the Iranians, uh Putin, uh North Korea, these kind of you know, negative uh groups, tyrannical groups.
- 33:12Don't you see that when they make an agreement, if it's not what they want to do, then the purpose of the agreement is simply to buy them time to continue to do what they're doing.
- 33:24I said, We watched North Korea, and they were not gonna get a nuclear bomb, and they kept making agreements, and we kept uh, oh, that's good, we have an agreement, and there's an agreement, and next thing you know, okay, we got a bomb.
- 33:35Now, if they decided to go after South Korea, they decide they're gonna roll troops over that uh 38th parallel.
- 33:43They're gonna go down there and they're gonna take, you know, twenty square miles.
- 33:47What are we gonna do about it?
- 33:49What are we gonna do about it?
- 33:51Because Kim Jong-un is nuts enough to light up a nuclear bomb on Seoul.
- 33:57He's nuts enough to do it.
- 33:58Right?
- 33:59So what do we do?
- 34:00So what do we do?
- 34:01Do we do do we send uh uh a nuclear submarine over there and we light up a couple of nukes on uh on him before he can do what's the purpose?
- 34:10Well, the reality is we can't we can't we're limited in what we can do now because he has nuclear weapons.
- 34:17He has that ultimate weapon now.
- 34:19So we have to do things differently.
- 34:22Why don't we why don't we get rid of Putin and end this war?
- 34:26Because Putin has a ton of nuclear weapons, and he has said, I'll use them.
- 34:30I'll use them as tactical battlefield weapons if I have to.
- 34:33Why, if anybody does anything to me, I will light you up with a nuclear weapon.
- 34:37This is a guy who's crazy enough to do it.
- 34:41So therefore, we have to deal with him differently.
- 34:44Iran had a couple of things that are dangerous to all of us, to every one of us.
- 34:50Even you in your basement in your underwear taking notes about what I'm saying.
- 34:55These people have a religious belief that says they are the true leaders of the world, and you should either follow their religion or they're justified in killing you.
- 35:10Right?
- 35:10And they're justified in killing you.
- 35:12And they do this all over the world.
- 35:13They've done it in these lone how many lone wolf Catholics are going around and uh and shooting up places?
- 35:20How many lone wolf Catholics are running down people in um in parades?
- 35:26Right?
- 35:27How many lone wolf uh Protestants are out there doing this?
- 35:31It's just it's not it's a it's a radical religion and political movement, uh the radical Islamist.
- 35:39And they're dangerous.
- 35:40When you have Iran, you have that mentality, that religious mentality, that desire to create a col uh uh uh a new order in the world where they're in charge of it, and they're not afraid to die.
- 35:54Uh they have a culture of death where we have a culture of life.
- 35:58We believe in life and loving each other and find and no war and let's find peace, let's find an answer.
- 36:04And they say, no, they would rather just kill everybody.
- 36:06You know, uh look what they did with their own protesters.
- 36:10Oh, the protesters are out there, we were they killed twenty to forty thousand people in the streets.
- 36:16And where was all the uh where was all the the protesters out there protesting for you know innocent people being killed by their government?
- 36:25Not one word from our friends on the left.
- 36:28Did you see them out there in the streets arguing and fighting and protesting over what the uh Ayatollah did?
- 36:35No, how come?
- 36:36You know, you talk about they get upset over over things and they want to protest the you know oppression.
- 36:43Well, what about this oppression?
- 36:44Where's all the women's groups that can come out and say uh, you know, honor killings?
- 36:49We've had them here in America.
- 36:51That is a that's a real thing.
- 36:53You see a daughter decides here in America she's gonna wear the clothes that contemporary young women wear, and her parents are embarrassed by that, and the father or the brothers will kill her.
- 37:04That's oppression.
- 37:05Where where are we we're fighting now?
- 37:07So I find our friends on the left are very hard to get along with because they don't follow any logic.
- 37:16You know, they don't follow any logic.
- 37:18Uh they go by feelings and they hate one group for this reason, and the another group does the exact same thing, but they don't hate them, they support them.
- 37:26Right?
- 37:27So where's all the women's groups that should be out in the street every single day saying, Look how great look what Donald Trump did.
- 37:33This is great.
- 37:34He freed all of these women in Iran from the yoke of this religion that subjects them to unbelievable treatment, right?
- 37:42Freedom, they can go back to being free.
- 37:45Have you seen any of those protests?
- 37:47I have not.
- 37:49I see people waving the Iranian flag.
- 37:52You know, how dare Trump kill the Ayatollah?
- 37:54He's just a he's just a uh uh a nice dictator, and you had no right to go in there and do that to him.
- 38:01Make that make sense, right?
- 38:03Make that make sense.
- 38:04And if that's how you see it.
- 38:07We talked about this yesterday, right?
- 38:08If you go back and listen to to yesterday's show, when I talked about it, I said, look in the mirror and ask yourself, what's wrong with me?
- 38:15Why do I think like that?
- 38:16You know, why would I think that that's that's okidoki?
- 38:19So we have this this conflict.
- 38:21I think President Trump had to look at Iran historically, see what they have done.
- 38:28It's not like these people have never done anything to us.
- 38:32This is not something that happened last week, and Trump just woke up and said, I think I'm gonna start a war with Iran, because I want their oil so I can be rich.
- 38:41This has been going on for 47 years.
- 38:43They've been attacking us either directly or through proxies.
- 38:48So you have the Houthis.
- 38:50They are they're not Iran, they're their own government in Yemen, but they attack Israel, they attack American assets, they go after us.
- 38:57You've got Hezbollah who attack American interests, you have uh Hamas who attack Israel and they're all proxies, they're all they're all supplied financially from Iran.
- 39:08So when I when I said this the other day, my friend Bob says to me, Well, they're not Iranian.
- 39:12That's nothing to do with Iranian.
- 39:14They're paying for it.
- 39:16The Iranians are supporting it.
- 39:18Why do you think they call them proxies?
- 39:20What's a proxy of?
- 39:21Well, it's not the Iranians, but they're proxies of it.
- 39:24The Iranians supply them with money, ideological help, weapons to go do the work that Iran wants to do, which is take over everywhere.
- 39:33Vanquish their enemies, their enemies.
- 39:36America, the big Satan, Israel, the little Satan.
- 39:40When people tell you what they're gonna do to you, what they want to do, you need to listen.
- 39:44And my friend Bob listens to this, and he says, he goes, Yeah, but but you know, uh those are thro those are three different things.
- 39:51Those are three different things.
- 39:53And uh what uh what about uh the Israelis throwing a bomb into a school killing a hundred and sixty kids?
- 40:00And I said, okay, I heard that story.
- 40:02I heard that story too.
- 40:04We don't know if that's exactly what happened, because we know during the Gaza conflict recently, there was a hospital that was blown up, and everyone blamed the Israelis.
- 40:14They blew up a hospital.
- 40:16Can you imagine they killed all these people in a hospital?
- 40:19They're horrible.
- 40:19And it turns out it wasn't the Israelis.
- 40:22It was a uh Hamas rocket that went off course, and instead of hitting the Israelis, it hit their own hospital.
- 40:29You know, so you can't believe these kind of things.
- 40:32We know that Hamas will take a bunch of people, civilians, and they will have their weapons, they'll shoot from the roof of apartment buildings.
- 40:40So because they know the Israelis will respond, and they'd go to take out that uh artillery or whatever it is on the roof, and of course it kills civilians.
- 40:49Now, why would Hamas put their guns and their weapons, and we saw it when they went to these hospitals, right, during the the uh altercation in the basement of the hospitals, they found tons of weapons and explosives and they got tunnels everywhere.
- 41:01Why would they do that?
- 41:03It is part of the game.
- 41:05It's part of a game so that when that building is blown up and civilians are unfortunately killed, they can go, look what the Israelis did.
- 41:12They're just uh they're just slaughtering people.
- 41:15Well, here's the here's the easiest answer for all of you that are probably some of you probably spitting right now and and and freaking out and you know, whatever.
- 41:26That war could come to an end.
- 41:28All of this destruction and killing could come to an end right this minute, as you're listening to me.
- 41:35Before the show is over, this whole thing could come to an end.
- 41:38How would that how and how would that happen?
- 41:40Well, let's go to uh let's go to Gaza.
- 41:43Hamas can put down their weapons and say, we want peace, we want to live in peace with the Israelis, and we want to turn our area, Gaza, into a paradise.
- 41:59And the world would pour billions and billions of dollars in there to create hospitals, schools, hotels, and turn it into a beautiful place.
- 42:07That would happen by the end of the show if they would drop their weapons.
- 42:11In Iran, the Iranian government, these radical Islamist nuts that are still running around shooting rockets, killing civilians, fighting back.
- 42:21That would come to an end immediately if they would say, well, uh America wiped out all our leadership, and the people don't want us here anymore.
- 42:32So maybe we should just put our weapons down and figure out what are we going to do going forward?
- 42:37How do we how do we live going forward?
- 42:39This is over now.
- 42:41Well, they're not going to do that.
- 42:43Adolf Hitler falted fought to the end.
- 42:46He fought to the end till he ended up in a bunker as the whole world came around down upon his head while lots and lots of Germans uh civilians were destroyed in the war that he started.
- 42:58This story has been repeated over and over and over and over again, and we're just seeing it again.
- 43:05These negative people the people of Iran, the majority, the huge, I think what do they say?
- 43:10They have 90 million people, eighty million of them don't want to live under Sharia law as though it's the fifth century.
- 43:18They don't want to do that anymore.
- 43:20They want to live normal lives, raise their family, love their kids, and have a life that doesn't include living under Sharia law.
- 43:27Women want to be able to be doctors and lawyers and go to school and run businesses and dress the way they want to dress.
- 43:35As Americans, I would think we should support that.
- 43:39But we don't, do we?
- 43:41How come?
- 43:42How come we don't support that?
- 43:44How come we're out in the streets in America protesting what Trump is doing to free the people of Iran who they want to be free?
- 43:55How come we're not supporting them?
- 43:58They're oppressed, oh, they're oppressed.
- 44:00You know, uh my friend Bob says, well, you know, uh in Gaza, they're living under occupation.
- 44:05I said, occupation.
- 44:06The Israelis left Gaza completely in 2006.
- 44:11He goes, well, they still control the borders and trade and when Yeah, that's not the same as occupying the land.
- 44:17They left the land.
- 44:18Here you go.
- 44:18Here's your land.
- 44:19Matter of fact, the Israelis moved a lot of Jewish people who were living in Gaza out.
- 44:24You have to leave.
- 44:24Had to leave their homes, get out of there.
- 44:27They dug up their dead and moved their dead to different places.
- 44:31They completely gave it over.
- 44:32Here you go.
- 44:33Here's your land.
- 44:35Prosper.
- 44:36And instead of prospering, instead of creating a paradise on the Mediterranean for their people, where they could live free, they could worship their God as they feel fit.
- 44:46They could raise their families.
- 44:48They can have peace and love.
- 44:50Instead of doing that, they took all the money that came in to build terror tunnels, they could go kill Jews.
- 44:57Now, if you can't see that as you run around with your Palestinian flag, I have nothing against the Palestinian people.
- 45:03These people just want to live a normal life.
- 45:05But you have to look at what they're willing to do.
- 45:08They're not willing to be peaceful.
- 45:10They're not willing to come up with a solution.
- 45:12They want to kill the Jews.
- 45:15Well, you know what?
- 45:16That's not it's it that hasn't worked since the 1940s when Israel was established.
- 45:21It's not going to happen now.
- 45:22It's just going to be more war, more bloodshed, more suffering.
- 45:28I don't want them to suffer.
- 45:30I want the people of Gaza to be able to raise their children as they see fit to enjoy their families, to live a good life, right?
- 45:39To prosper and be good.
- 45:41But that's up to them.
- 45:43They have to decide to stop fighting, to stop hatred.
- 45:47And all of you people running around with Palestinian flags, they're occupying them.
- 45:52No, they're not.
- 45:53They're not occupying them.
- 45:55Israel doesn't shoot rockets into Gaza indiscriminately day and night, day and night.
- 46:02But they do that.
- 46:03Hamas does that to Israel.
- 46:05Thousands of rockets.
- 46:06What's the purpose of shooting rockets into neighborhoods?
- 46:09What's the purpose of crossing the border early in the morning and going and killing a thousand young people at a concert, going through little neighborhoods and and murdering and raping and dismembering babies, women, and children?
- 46:24What what what's that all about?
- 46:25Where were you to protest that kind of horror?
- 46:31That kind of horror.
- 46:32Where were you to protest that?
- 46:33And again, run right into that bathroom, open your eyes wide, look in the mirror and go, gee, why am I not protesting that?
- 46:41Why am I saying that that's okay?
- 46:44Why am I why am I saying that that's all right instead of going, let's have peace.
- 46:48Let's let's stop the violence.
- 46:50Let's stop the violence.
- 46:51All right.
- 46:52So that brings me to my point.
- 46:56We can say, you can agree or disagree, that this moment in time, the Iranians say they had enough for eleven or twelve nuclear bombs.
- 47:07Their goal, even after having their facilities destroyed, their nuclear facilities destroyed was to dig out the whole rebuild and to build nuclear bombs that they're going to use against you and me and everyone else.
- 47:20And they're still not getting it.
- 47:21That they're not going to be allowed to do that.
- 47:23They're not going to be allowed to kill us.
- 47:25So this moment, President Trump made an evaluation.
- 47:30Just like North Korea, if we wait too long, and now they have one, two, or five nuclear weapons.
- 47:39Now it's going to be much more difficult to stop them from doing the bad things that they want to do to everyone.
- 47:44So this was the moment to prevent that from happening, to free the Iranian people from this dictatorship, this theocracy that is crushing the people of Iran.
- 47:56This was the moment to knock that government out of its power and let the people take over.
- 48:03Let the people go in and create some kind of a government where they can have some kind of a normal life.
- 48:09This was the moment, and Trump saw it coming.
- 48:12He made the decision to go.
- 48:14So you can agree or not agree, but if we waited a little bit longer, that decision is out of our hand once they have nuclear weapons.
- 48:22Right?
- 48:22Then they can light up Israel.
- 48:25They can light, they can put one of those things on a ship and launch it into New York or Boston.
- 48:30What are you going to do back then?
- 48:31You can say, oh, we should have done something back in the yeah, you should have done something when you had the chance.
- 48:36When people tell you what they're going to do to you, believe them.
- 48:40And if you have the opportunity to stop them, that's the right thing to do.
- 48:45All right.
- 48:45So the House, the House of Representatives in the United States.
- 48:49Republicans, Democrats.
- 48:51We see our military is out there, they're fighting.
- 48:54They're trying to knock out the military assets of the uh the tyrannical Iranians.
- 49:01And we see our friends on the left.
- 49:02We're gonna we're gonna impose our will on the president.
- 49:06We're not in power, but we're gonna say, no, we're gonna resist.
- 49:09It's Trump, we're gonna resist.
- 49:10We can't have him looking good.
- 49:12We can't have him solving another problem.
- 49:14We can't have him protecting us again.
- 49:16We're gonna have to have him look bad.
- 49:18So how do we do that?
- 49:19Let's take away his ability to do what he's doing.
- 49:23So they want to have uh they want to invoke the war powers act, which every every president, Democrat and Republican, uh has said it's unconstitutional.
- 49:33It has not been tested in the courts.
- 49:35Uh this is another one of those things where our Congress can do a lot of things and they choose not to do anything.
- 49:42Our immigration problem, right?
- 49:44Instead of fighting and fighting about immigration and going back and forth funded, defund it, do this, instead of doing that, get in there and come up with some laws that say this is how we're gonna handle immigration and turn it into law.
- 49:57But they don't do that, do they?
- 49:59No, because it's a
- 50:00A political tool.
- 50:01It's a weapon.
- 50:01You and I sit here thinking it's about immigration.
- 50:04And it's not about immigration.
- 50:06It's about wielding power.
- 50:08It's about having control over us.
- 50:10And they do that.
- 50:11They could simply go in and go, listen, uh, you know, what if Biden said?
- 50:15We can't, well, the border's closed.
- 50:16The border's completely closed.
- 50:17Meantime, it was 10,000 people a day coming over the border.
- 50:21That wasn't a closed border.
- 50:23But what did the media say?
- 50:24Oh, the border's closed.
- 50:25Here's our cameras.
- 50:27They wouldn't show you pictures of it.
- 50:28Only Fox News would show you pictures of thousands of people coming over, you know, the secure border.
- 50:32It's secure.
- 50:33It's it's never been more secure, they told us.
- 50:36Did you agree with that?
- 50:38Did you see the pictures of thousands of people coming over and say, well, I guess the border's closed.
- 50:43Were you were you that stupid to say, hey, don't, hey, my lion eyes, my eyes are lying to me.
- 50:51Well, we can't cl we can't do that.
- 50:53We need it's up to their Congress.
- 50:54Well, did you see the Congress run in and come up with a bill that this is what we're going to do for uh immigration?
- 50:59This is how we're going to handle it.
- 51:01No.
- 51:02Neither side has done that.
- 51:04Why not?
- 51:05Because as a as a topic, it has value for them.
- 51:10As something that they can fight over and argue over and get money and power and whatnot.
- 51:15So the House is going to vote to limit what the president can do under the war powers act.
- 51:21Well, it lost.
- 51:22Alright, you had some Democrats come over to the side of the Republicans.
- 51:27Almost all the Republicans voted no, you can't limit what the president's doing.
- 51:31The president is the commander in chief.
- 51:34Congress declares war.
- 51:36And I think that's good.
- 51:37I think that's good that Congress declares war.
- 51:40This, while it is combat, it's not a war.
- 51:44We're not sending in troops.
- 51:45We're not taking over the ground.
- 51:47We may end up doing that.
- 51:48I don't know.
- 51:48You know, things have a way of changing.
- 51:50But if we're going to be in war where we're going to send in troops and we're going to try and take over that land and this, that, and the other thing, then Congress should decide, you know, if they're going to support it or not.
- 51:59But right now, it's a police action, for better or worse.
- 52:02The President of the United States, who is tasked specifically with keeping us safe, sees this danger, and he's doing what he can to prevent danger, to save us down the road by preventing Iran from getting nuclear weapons.
- 52:20They do not they do not negotiate in good faith.
- 52:25And if you think they do, and you're sitting there going, well, we had an agreement.
- 52:29You don't understand the world.
- 52:31And I and I hate to say it so bluntly like that.
- 52:34But this goes with my theme the last couple of weeks where I've been saying the adults need to step up and say, these people that see things through rose-colored glasses, they see things through, you know, let's hope it works out, and you know, believe in other the rest of the world is not America.
- 52:49Right?
- 52:50The rest of the world plays by totally different rules than we do.
- 52:54And the adults understand the rules, and we have to play by those rules.
- 52:59We can't just say, well, we're doing the American way, because people in the world see appeasement as weakness.
- 53:08They see people backing off.
- 53:10Fear, like they fear Trump.
- 53:12They fear everything he's going to do.
- 53:14They see that as weakness and they take advantage.
- 53:16Evil and bad people do not change their way because you want to play nice.
- 53:23Sometimes you gotta punch them in the face.
- 53:26Right?
- 53:27Sometimes you gotta punch them in the face.
- 53:29And I hate to say it like that, but it's true.
- 53:31If you have somebody constantly harassing you, threatening you, coming after you, and you keep throwing words at them, I'm gonna sue you, I'm gonna make a report about you, and they keep coming over and harassing you, hitting you, doing things to you.
- 53:45At some point, you have to defend yourself from people like that.
- 53:49Because they do not go home and go, you know, gee, uh Joe is Joe is right.
- 53:54You know, he's he's saying that he might sue me.
- 53:57I don't want to get sued, so I think I'll stop behaving.
- 54:00No, it emboldens them to do more, whether it's on an individual case or on a nation case, especially when you have people like the people in Iran who run that government.
- 54:10Not the individual people.
- 54:11I think the Iranian people are brilliant, they're good people, they're very smart.
- 54:16They are being they're being oppressed.
- 54:19You talk about oppression, they're being oppressed by their government, how they're being treated, what they do to women, and why you're not supporting that, I don't know.
- 54:28For those of you who are, good for you, because you see the world as it is.
- 54:33Now, one thing I want to address what we have some time here is so far we have lost six service personnel.
- 54:41And I saw their pictures, I saw their names, they look like beautiful young Americans who dedicated their lives, their very lives, to our country and the protection of our country.
- 54:52And they laid their lives down at the altar of freedom.
- 54:56That is not to be taken lightly.
- 54:58That is not to be dismissed as, oh, well, that's what happens.
- 55:01Those sacrifices by those individual people who were killed, they're gone now, and their families have to deal with their loss.
- 55:11As a nation, we have to deal with the loss of our service personnel.
- 55:16And it's a terrible thing that that happens.
- 55:19But when I was a police officer, I knew that every day I went out the door, every single day I went out the door.
- 55:26I could end up dying, performing my duties to protect my community.
- 55:31I accepted it, my family accepted it.
- 55:33We hoped it didn't happen.
- 55:35But we knew it, and cops get killed all the time.
- 55:38Well, these military heroes that are over there, they are doing their part to protect you and me.
- 55:45And we owe them the greatest debt of gratitude spiritually, financially, whatever we can do to help them.
- 55:52They are doing what they were meant to do, and it's unfortunate that they lost their lives in this.
- 55:58We can't let them lose their lives in vain.
- 56:01We can't do what we constantly do in the modern era, is we we get involved with something righteous as it may be, and then we lose our stomach to finish it.
- 56:11Well, by not finishing it, by not completely wiping out everything about the mullahs and their ability to wage war again, then we do not honor those soldiers who lost their lives in this conflict so far, and there probably will be more.
- 56:27We're dealing with radical terrorist killers who would do the same thing to you and your family if they had the chance.
- 56:36That's why we're there.
- 56:38That's why we have to stop them.
- 56:41So I want to say thank you to those gold star families.
- 56:44I pray for them, I pray for those soldiers, the men and women who lost their lives.
- 56:48They are absolute heroes.
- 56:51And they will go down in history as some of the greatest among us.
- 56:57They're protecting our country.
- 57:00They are doing their duty.
- 57:03And I hope no one else gets hurt or killed.
- 57:06Hope no more civilians are hurt or killed.
- 57:07No one.
- 57:08I'll hope there's peace in the world.
- 57:10But you don't get to peace through weakness.
- 57:14You get to peace through strength.
- 57:16So God bless America.
- 57:18God bless all of you, and thank you for being here.
- 57:20I appreciate it.
- 57:20And we will see you down the road.
