- 0:11Speaker 2: It is time to leave your worries outside and laugh
- 0:15Speaker 2: with us inside the Treehouse. I'm Daniel Malley along with
- 0:18Speaker 2: Trey Trindholm and Jerry Caldwell.
- 0:23Speaker 3: Coming up on today's show, I didn't know you could
- 0:29Speaker 3: drain these.
- 0:34Speaker 2: Trey has a big arch review hopefully that will rival
- 0:37Speaker 2: the McDonald's CEO. And there's a new party trick crashing
- 0:44Speaker 2: bachelorette parties. That's all today Inside the Treehouse show. But first.
- 0:53Speaker 3: We are going to start with felonious fishing.
- 0:58Speaker 2: Over the years, I have fought all of these types
- 1:00Speaker 2: of stories because I am so intrigued by those that
- 1:04Speaker 2: not only cheat to get ahead in life in general,
- 1:06Speaker 2: but especially those that do it in the very illustrious
- 1:11Speaker 2: sport of fishing. A North Texas angler was arrested after
- 1:18Speaker 2: officials say he's stuffed three weights inside of a bass
- 1:23Speaker 2: during a Lake Fort fishing tournament in an attempt to
- 1:27Speaker 2: win a prize of over ten thousand dollars. So if
- 1:32Speaker 2: you're wondering why anglers are cheating at bass tournaments, it's
- 1:37Speaker 2: because money. Lots and lots of money. It's not just
- 1:41Speaker 2: about a trophy in bragging rights. Tournament staff noticed something
- 1:47Speaker 2: suspicious at the wigh in when a metal detector alerted
- 1:51Speaker 2: them to objects inside the fish. Yes, this is so common.
- 1:55Speaker 2: They run the fish through metal detector. Game Wards later
- 2:00Speaker 2: confirmed the weights and found similar ones on the angler's boat,
- 2:05Speaker 2: and because the prize exceeded ten thousand dollars, the alleged
- 2:09Speaker 2: cheating resulted in a third degree felony charge under Texas
- 2:13Speaker 2: Fishing Tournament Law. Texas Tournament Fishing Law. If ever, there
- 2:22Speaker 2: was a time for you to feel slighted that whatever
- 2:24Speaker 2: law you want passed in Texas hasn't yet. Just know
- 2:28Speaker 2: it's now worse knowing there's a Texas Tournament Fishing law
- 2:31Speaker 2: in front of it.
- 2:33Speaker 4: It's no bs in Texas. It's like football beer fishing.
- 2:38Speaker 4: It's like it's your holy trinity right there.
- 2:41Speaker 5: You can't.
- 2:47Speaker 2: I grew up fishing. I enjoyed it. It was never
- 2:50Speaker 2: competitive at it. And again, I don't really know how
- 2:54Speaker 2: many fish my grandfather had in his stock pond. Some
- 2:56Speaker 2: days it felt like none. But I felt out of fishing.
- 3:01Speaker 2: You know, It's like I think the last time I
- 3:02Speaker 2: was ever actually consistent fishing was like eleven or twelve
- 3:05Speaker 2: years old. As an adult man, if someone says, now, hey,
- 3:08Speaker 2: you want to go fishing, I'm like, eh, And it's
- 3:11Speaker 2: not because I don't enjoy it. It's because it's been
- 3:13Speaker 2: so long. I'm afraid to go because I can't do
- 3:17Speaker 2: it very well. I don't want to be the guy
- 3:19Speaker 2: that asks my buddy, hey, can you tie this for me?
- 3:27Speaker 2: It's not fun when you emasculate yourself, and so I
- 3:30Speaker 2: don't typically seek that out.
- 3:33Speaker 5: Anybody ever, fite you to go fishing. Just let me know.
- 3:35Speaker 5: I'll give you a little tie in tutorial. You'll be good.
- 3:38Speaker 2: It's easy because all I end up doing is just
- 3:42Speaker 2: tying like fifty knots in the thing and just hoping
- 3:45Speaker 2: for the best twist and loop.
- 3:47Speaker 5: Twist and loop.
- 3:48Speaker 2: Is it basically you're just making a little noose kind
- 3:51Speaker 2: of on the fishing line. Yeah, I'm not going to
- 3:56Speaker 2: say I know how to tie a noose. I'm just
- 3:58Speaker 2: saying I think I know how.
- 4:03Speaker 6: So I mean, do you know what a good bass
- 4:08Speaker 6: boat costs? I don't.
- 4:10Speaker 2: I know what.
- 4:13Speaker 5: I know.
- 4:13Speaker 3: Boats are shockingly expensive.
- 4:17Speaker 1: Bass boats are shockingly even more shockingly expensive because you're not.
- 4:23Speaker 1: It's not like you're getting a cruiser or you know,
- 4:27Speaker 1: something that can hold ten people, but you know, a
- 4:33Speaker 1: good a new bass boat top of the line. You're
- 4:36Speaker 1: talking sixty seventy thousand dollars.
- 4:39Speaker 2: Woo woo. Does that include the motor? Yeah, okay, just
- 4:47Speaker 2: make it sure because I've never bought a boat.
- 4:49Speaker 6: That's the thing with.
- 4:52Speaker 1: And I hate that I even know anything about this,
- 4:54Speaker 1: but at one point I had a friend who decided
- 4:59Speaker 1: he wanted to be a on the bass phishing tour.
- 5:05Speaker 1: And the thing that makes it it's not just the
- 5:08Speaker 1: prize money, but it's the sponsorship deals where you get
- 5:13Speaker 1: get the goods, because I mean, you ever, if you
- 5:17Speaker 1: ever look at these guys, you know, they look like
- 5:20Speaker 1: a NASCAR car. They've got patches everywhere and sponsorships and
- 5:26Speaker 1: everything else. So you win a tournament, it's a lot
- 5:33Speaker 1: more than.
- 5:33Speaker 6: The prize money.
- 5:35Speaker 4: So here for a twenty twenty six Phoenix twenty one
- 5:40Speaker 4: x E Penci. We're looking at a twenty one and
- 5:45Speaker 4: a half foot boat. It's got a Mercury engine two
- 5:51Speaker 4: hundred and fifty horsepower. It's very sleek, it's purple, it's beautiful.
- 5:57Speaker 4: Take a guess how much costs. What year is it again?
- 6:01Speaker 2: Twenty twenty six and it's an XL E.
- 6:06Speaker 5: Close enough.
- 6:06Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't, I don't freaking no, it's and it's
- 6:11Speaker 2: got a Mercury two fifty on her. All right, I'll
- 6:16Speaker 2: go based on Trey's earlier range. That is common. I'll
- 6:21Speaker 2: go fifty.
- 6:21Speaker 6: Five, all right, Tray, Yeah, sixty five.
- 6:31Speaker 4: One hundred and nine, nine and ninety five dollars brand new,
- 6:35Speaker 4: and you can have it.
- 6:39Speaker 2: I was a little off. Now that's top end obviously, Jesus.
- 6:48Speaker 2: Like living where I live, you know, in the in
- 6:50Speaker 2: the Virgin Islands, I see really really nice boats every
- 6:54Speaker 2: single day, and I see the entire range of them,
- 6:58Speaker 2: like yesterday, looking down into the harbor. In addition to
- 7:05Speaker 2: cruise ships, there were three massive yachts. And when I
- 7:09Speaker 2: say massive now, I mean like stop you dead in
- 7:13Speaker 2: your tracks, massive yachts like the mega yacht style, you know,
- 7:18Speaker 2: like the the Lady that is one of the main
- 7:21Speaker 2: heirs of Walmart. Her boat called Chaos comes here pretty often.
- 7:27Speaker 2: That's a boat I want to get on, and you
- 7:30Speaker 2: know it when you see it. David Geffen, the record
- 7:33Speaker 2: producer media mogul. He's got his yacht Rising Sun. You
- 7:37Speaker 2: know that when you see it, it's a big frickin' boat.
- 7:39Speaker 2: But then yesterday there's like three out in the harbor
- 7:42Speaker 2: that just dwarfed all these other yachts, which, by the way,
- 7:45Speaker 2: the regular yachts are still nothing to turn your nose
- 7:49Speaker 2: up back because they're probably five to ten million dollar
- 7:52Speaker 2: yachts that these other yachts are making look like bathtub toys.
- 7:59Speaker 2: And then when you have a big boat like that,
- 8:01Speaker 2: you have to have what's called a tender boat, which
- 8:03Speaker 2: is the boat that tends to the big boat. Because
- 8:06Speaker 2: it's so big, it can't go into shallow waters to
- 8:09Speaker 2: get stuff, so you have to have a smaller boat.
- 8:12Speaker 2: Those smaller boats are still six figures, usually a center
- 8:17Speaker 2: console type of deal. He's at least two fifty. So
- 8:21Speaker 2: one hundred thousand dollars bass boat, why not.
- 8:26Speaker 1: Yeah, those boats you're talking about, they can traverse the seas,
- 8:32Speaker 1: oh yeah, yeah, and they do good on Texoma.
- 8:38Speaker 2: Yeah yeah. I don't think I want to take I
- 8:40Speaker 2: don't want to take one hundred thousand dollars bass boat
- 8:42Speaker 2: to the Gulf. Maybe stay in the bay at most,
- 8:47Speaker 2: but I'm definitely not going to take my one hundred
- 8:49Speaker 2: thousand dollars bass boat across the Atlantic to see if
- 8:53Speaker 2: I can redo the route of the Titanic. These cheating
- 9:02Speaker 2: fishing stories always fascinate me, and the fact that it's
- 9:06Speaker 2: a felony because of the prize money involved is outstanding
- 9:10Speaker 2: because I just I want to be in I don't
- 9:13Speaker 2: typically want to be in prison. Just want that made clear. However,
- 9:17Speaker 2: I would love to be a fly on the wall
- 9:20Speaker 2: in the cell. When that guy gets to prison and
- 9:23Speaker 2: his sell he asks him, so, what are you in for?
- 9:26Speaker 2: And he says fishing. I can't imagine that gets you
- 9:32Speaker 2: a whole lot of cred inside prison.
- 9:36Speaker 6: No, I imagine he's going to learn a new meaning
- 9:38Speaker 6: to fish hook though.
- 9:47Speaker 2: I think I might actually fly out of cell for
- 9:49Speaker 2: that part. You're listening to the Treehouse.
- 9:58Speaker 5: It is online Treehouse on air dot com.
- 10:04Speaker 2: Eight three three cookdf W is the phone number you
- 10:06Speaker 2: will need to reach Daniel Cook at COOKDFW Roofing and Restoration.
- 10:10Speaker 2: Use that to schedule your free roof inspection and property
- 10:13Speaker 2: review today. Look, let's be honest, the roofing industry is
- 10:16Speaker 2: not the most well regarded on the consumer side because
- 10:19Speaker 2: there are so many fly by night slash straight up
- 10:23Speaker 2: fraudsters out there taking advantage of homeowners. What's what's a
- 10:27Speaker 2: homeowner to do?
- 10:28Speaker 7: Daniel Buyer Beware, Buyer, Beware. I can't stress out enough.
- 10:32Speaker 7: We talk about this all the time. You as a
- 10:35Speaker 7: homeowner responsible for who you have on your property, how
- 10:38Speaker 7: they repair it. And there's not much support that's going
- 10:42Speaker 7: to be given to you. So do your due diligence.
- 10:45Speaker 7: Do the you know, discovery on the company you're using.
- 10:47Speaker 7: Find out what their reviews, you know, ask for some references.
- 10:51Speaker 7: Are they local, do they have they already done, you know,
- 10:53Speaker 7: work in your neighborhood. Before we just had this happen,
- 10:56Speaker 7: we had a client that we worked on several homes
- 10:58Speaker 7: around them. They unfortunately went with a contractor that was
- 11:02Speaker 7: based out of Houston. They drove up here after the
- 11:04Speaker 7: last storm in September. They went door knocking. They asked
- 11:08Speaker 7: this client to get their business from told they had
- 11:10Speaker 7: all this crew, they had all these specially people that
- 11:12Speaker 7: could handle their their you know, problems with their home. Well,
- 11:16Speaker 7: you know, five months into this now they have more
- 11:18Speaker 7: problems than they actually had after the storm, because now
- 11:22Speaker 7: they've let somebody that painted their house wrong overspray on
- 11:25Speaker 7: the brick, you know, the garage doors not you know,
- 11:29Speaker 7: put in there correctly. Windows are not sealed around. They
- 11:32Speaker 7: broke brit trying to install the windows. They tried to
- 11:34Speaker 7: put carpet in a bedroom and they left a big
- 11:36Speaker 7: seam all the way down the middle of the room.
- 11:38Speaker 7: So you can see this huge seam in this carpet.
- 11:41Speaker 7: Just there's a mountain of lists. And now unfortunately this
- 11:43Speaker 7: homeowner's finding themselves they had to hire a lawyer, spend
- 11:47Speaker 7: money on litigation up front, because most lawyers aren't going
- 11:50Speaker 7: to take that on pro bono or anything. Now they're
- 11:53Speaker 7: fighting this contractor on doing the right thing with their home,
- 11:57Speaker 7: and they're just asking the contractor to relieve them so
- 12:00Speaker 7: also of any liability. They're willing to pay them a
- 12:02Speaker 7: small amount of money of the things they've already done,
- 12:05Speaker 7: which they're actually going to spend more money.
- 12:07Speaker 6: To fix them.
- 12:08Speaker 7: But these are the things that you have to do,
- 12:10Speaker 7: and the company is not willing to do the right thing,
- 12:13Speaker 7: you know. That's that's the red flag in itself. But unfortunately,
- 12:16Speaker 7: now this homeowner's going to go through all of this
- 12:18Speaker 7: huge lawyer litigation stuff and all this and is going
- 12:21Speaker 7: to drag out the repairs on their home. So now
- 12:23Speaker 7: they're going to be out repairs on the home another
- 12:25Speaker 7: six eight nine months.
- 12:26Speaker 2: Maybe save yourself the headaches, save yourself the possible nightmares.

- 13:28Speaker 2: inside the Treehouse on our Ultimate Treehouse live stream earlier
- 13:34Speaker 2: this week, which are Patreon subscribers, our Ultimate Treehouse Patreon
- 13:38Speaker 2: subscribers we're able to enjoy. We talked about the McDonald's CEO,
- 13:45Speaker 2: going viral for his unboxing and eating of the new
- 13:51Speaker 2: Big Arch available from McDonald's. I believe for a limited time.
- 13:55Speaker 2: I don't know if this is a special thing and
- 13:57Speaker 2: it's gonna go away, or if this is just a
- 13:59Speaker 2: brand new menu item and it's a staple.
- 14:02Speaker 6: I think it's a brand new item.
- 14:04Speaker 2: Good for them, because I mean, look, it sounds good.
- 14:07Speaker 2: It sounds like everything I would want to burger, which
- 14:09Speaker 2: is a lot of meat, and his awkward way of
- 14:13Speaker 2: eating it went crazy viral. It inspired all the other
- 14:18Speaker 2: CEOs of the fast food companies to eat their products
- 14:21Speaker 2: for social media and do it better. So yeah, we
- 14:25Speaker 2: had fun discussing that the other night. But that also
- 14:29Speaker 2: inspired Trey. Trey, you felt so inspired by Chris k
- 14:33Speaker 2: the CEO of McDonald's, that you went out and tried
- 14:36Speaker 2: a big Arch.
- 14:37Speaker 6: I did.
- 14:39Speaker 1: I did, And I'm gonna have to say, it's a
- 14:43Speaker 1: tasty burger, all right, good for them? I was, first
- 14:49Speaker 1: of all, he is not like it is a big burger.
- 14:55Speaker 1: I could not. Like I could have finished it all,
- 14:58Speaker 1: but I would have been miserable. I ate about three
- 15:03Speaker 1: quarters of it, and I was stuffed. Really Yeah, and
- 15:07Speaker 1: and and I can put down some food.
- 15:10Speaker 6: I will. Here is my Yeah. Now that's how you
- 15:14Speaker 6: take a bite of a burger.
- 15:16Speaker 3: Yeah, there you go, Chris k CEO of McDonald's.
- 15:20Speaker 2: That's a hut. That's how you take a bite out
- 15:21Speaker 2: of a hamburger like a damn man.
- 15:23Speaker 1: But yeah, it doesn't like I said, it's it is
- 15:27Speaker 1: a big burger. It is it's I knew exactly what
- 15:33Speaker 1: he was talking about when he said it is uniquely McDonald's.
- 15:36Speaker 6: It absolutely tastes like a McDonald's burger.
- 15:41Speaker 1: It is a kin to a Big Mac with just
- 15:44Speaker 1: but the sauce is a little different and it and
- 15:46Speaker 1: it uses a white cheddar cheese instead of American, uh,
- 15:52Speaker 1: big back American or.
- 15:53Speaker 2: Cheddar probably American American I think.
- 15:57Speaker 1: But still excellent burger. I highly recommend. You know it's
- 16:03Speaker 1: fattening as hell.
- 16:05Speaker 2: Well sure, I mean yes, this is this is not
- 16:08Speaker 2: this is not typical food. If you're going for a
- 16:11Speaker 2: six pack, yeah, on your stomach.
- 16:14Speaker 6: If you want to splurge, go get yourself a Big Arch.
- 16:17Speaker 6: They are a very good burger.
- 16:22Speaker 2: We had here. The McDonald's Big Arch is a large,
- 16:26Speaker 2: limited time burger featuring two four ounce beef patties, making
- 16:33Speaker 2: it a half pound of meat, three slices of white
- 16:37Speaker 2: cheddar cheese, crispy and slivered onions, pickles, lettuce, and a
- 16:41Speaker 2: new tiny big Arch sauce served on a toasted sesame
- 16:44Speaker 2: and poppy seed bun boasting. I don't know if they
- 16:48Speaker 2: boast it, but that's what it says here in the
- 16:50Speaker 2: description boasting one thy twenty to one and seventy calories.
- 16:57Speaker 2: So I could see why you would be a little
- 16:58Speaker 2: full tray. I mean, that's half a day's worth the calories.
- 17:04Speaker 6: But definitely H.
- 17:07Speaker 1: Like I said, I will always say McDonald's double cheeseburger
- 17:11Speaker 1: you can never go wrong with it. Gets it gets
- 17:14Speaker 1: on my list of all time solid fast food burgers,
- 17:19Speaker 1: I would put it right there.
- 17:22Speaker 6: It would be one A one B with with a
- 17:24Speaker 6: double meat from Waterburger Waterburger double God bless it. So
- 17:30Speaker 6: h but yeah, the big arch solid, highly recommend.
- 17:35Speaker 2: All right, I'll have to see if my McDonald has it,
- 17:37Speaker 2: and if so, I will also give it a try.
- 17:40Speaker 3: And if I do, I will also take a photo
- 17:43Speaker 3: of my bite.
- 17:45Speaker 4: There you go. That's how you do a GD promotion
- 17:47Speaker 4: right there. McDonald's. You can make your checks out to
- 17:50Speaker 4: trade payable to. Hey, well, I guess that's fair. He
- 17:56Speaker 4: did it first.
- 18:00Speaker 6: Well that's right.
- 18:01Speaker 1: Yeah, literally, if you ever do get one, HE'LLI like,
- 18:05Speaker 1: I look at that picture. I'm like, my bite normally
- 18:07Speaker 1: looks a lot bigger on a burger. I think, so
- 18:10Speaker 1: damn big that Uh it's it doesn't look that impressive,
- 18:16Speaker 1: fair enough, but.
- 18:17Speaker 2: It's nice and uniform. I mean, that's a good looking
- 18:19Speaker 2: bite there. I mean, I'm not a dentist or anything,
- 18:22Speaker 2: but I think you look good. Hey, thanks, you're welcome.
- 18:26Speaker 2: All right. Bride'smaids are switching up their traditional bachelorette party,
- 18:32Speaker 2: and they bride's maids swear that this new trend at
- 18:36Speaker 2: bachelorette parties is better than a stripper. I'm trying to
- 18:46Speaker 2: decide if I want to ask you guys this in
- 18:48Speaker 2: a like a believe it or not scenario or a
- 18:52Speaker 2: wrong answers only, or just straight up tell you.
- 18:58Speaker 6: As long as the trend in of them not going
- 19:00Speaker 6: to bars whatever.
- 19:04Speaker 2: Spoken like a true bitter former service industry employee.
- 19:11Speaker 6: Yeah, they're there.
- 19:13Speaker 1: There are some things that just immediately make you cringe
- 19:17Speaker 1: if you know they're coming. And a bachelorette party is
- 19:21Speaker 1: one of them.
- 19:23Speaker 4: The party bus pulls up. Everybody puckers loud, just loud.
- 19:28Speaker 1: Want free shit, just oh, sat out in the tiaras
- 19:35Speaker 1: and ugh no.
- 19:37Speaker 3: Your worst nightmare loud and entitled.
- 19:40Speaker 6: Oh.
- 19:44Speaker 2: Brides to be are changing the rules. They have decided
- 19:50Speaker 2: to leave the traditional bachelorette parties stripper in the past
- 19:56Speaker 2: in favor of something else to entertain them. Magicians. Uh huh, good,
- 20:11Speaker 2: hold on to that thought trick, because I think you
- 20:13Speaker 2: and I are probably in the same place, according to
- 20:17Speaker 2: an Australian magician. According to an Australian magician, he says
- 20:25Speaker 2: he's noticed a massive surge in requests for his services
- 20:29Speaker 2: at bachelorette parties over the past year. He says, I've
- 20:34Speaker 2: noticed a big shift away from traditional bachelorette entertainment. Every
- 20:38Speaker 2: group or bridesmaid who books me says the same thing.
- 20:41Speaker 2: They want something everyone can participate in and enjoy it
- 20:44Speaker 2: without being awkward or tacky. The focus has shifted from
- 20:48Speaker 2: spectacle to connection and creating really memorable experiences, says the magician.
- 20:55Speaker 2: He also says his services typically last an hour and
- 20:57Speaker 2: he performs a series of magic tricks from mind reading
- 21:01Speaker 2: to card games. This year alone, he says he's been
- 21:05Speaker 2: booked for over twenty bachelorette parties. He also says, I'm
- 21:08Speaker 2: seeing more mixed generations at these events, with magic providing
- 21:12Speaker 2: an incredible and unique opportunity to break down walls and
- 21:15Speaker 2: connect attendees very quickly. This magician says that performing at
- 21:19Speaker 2: bachelorette parties is truly is truly, quite special. He also
- 21:25Speaker 2: said that he'll frequently overhear his guests saying that he
- 21:27Speaker 2: was so much better than a stripper.
- 21:33Speaker 5: Sure.
- 21:39Speaker 2: Look, I've seen magicians operate in the bar environment before,
- 21:44Speaker 2: and it's always fascinating to see them come in and
- 21:48Speaker 2: you know, within ten minutes, they've got a small crowd
- 21:51Speaker 2: around them. Right, So I could see how having a
- 21:55Speaker 2: magician at a party might be fun. It's certainly surprising
- 22:00Speaker 2: to hear that bachelorettes are saying, you know what I
- 22:02Speaker 2: really wanted my bachelorette party is a magician.
- 22:08Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 22:08Speaker 9: There.
- 22:08Speaker 1: I don't know if you're thinking of the same. There's
- 22:10Speaker 1: a guy who runs around Uptown has for years. His
- 22:12Speaker 1: name is Dave, and he does magic tricks. He goes
- 22:15Speaker 1: in and out of the bars. He's I knew. I
- 22:18Speaker 1: knew his mentor, who was a far better uh the
- 22:22Speaker 1: magician slash drug dealer slash pool shark.
- 22:26Speaker 3: It's important.
- 22:29Speaker 1: Doc was one of a kind. I Doc was this
- 22:32Speaker 1: this very unique character. He also did security and and
- 22:35Speaker 1: everyone thought it was.
- 22:37Speaker 6: Just absolute bullshit.
- 22:38Speaker 1: But then like when you know, one time, like he
- 22:40Speaker 1: shows up with Britney Spears and uh that yeah, he
- 22:44Speaker 1: would show up with random celebrities and even like Owen
- 22:46Speaker 1: and Luke Wilson came to his funeral. But he would
- 22:50Speaker 1: also say he was a frequent of the of the
- 22:52Speaker 1: Old Loon. And then but you would go anywhere Greenville, uptown,
- 22:57Speaker 1: I mean a deep elum whatever, and like you'd be
- 22:59Speaker 1: at some and a bar and all was an eat.
- 23:00Speaker 1: See Doc pop in and obviously he was. It was
- 23:04Speaker 1: something transactional sure, but uh but Dave, Yeah, if this
- 23:12Speaker 1: was true to this is the the absolute thing Dave
- 23:15Speaker 1: has been waiting on for twenty five years.
- 23:18Speaker 2: His dream might be might be coming true. Because let
- 23:22Speaker 2: me offer a word of warning for grooms, just because
- 23:29Speaker 2: how do I want to phrase this? If your bride
- 23:33Speaker 2: to be tells you that at her bachelorette parties, she's
- 23:37Speaker 2: not going to have a stripper, but instead is going
- 23:39Speaker 2: to have a magician as the groom to be. Don't
- 23:42Speaker 2: feel so sure that nothing will happen mm hm, because
- 23:47Speaker 2: you just know that at the somewhere in the middle
- 23:49Speaker 2: of that magician's act, he's going to say to the
- 23:52Speaker 2: bachelorette party, and now for my next trick, watch me
- 23:57Speaker 2: make my penis disappear.
- 24:01Speaker 6: Yeah, or pick a number between one and ten oh nine.
- 24:07Speaker 2: Yes, bunk, yes, correctly.

- 25:05Speaker 2: Boy, I didn't know you could drain these things. San
- 25:14Speaker 2: Diego Padres picture Matt waldron is sidelined indefinitely after having
- 25:22Speaker 2: a procedure to drain his hemorrhoids.
- 25:29Speaker 5: What you just removed them?
- 25:31Speaker 2: But you'd think I I have, I have. I have
- 25:40Speaker 2: questions and concerns on many levels. Look, I realize that
- 25:48Speaker 2: as a professional athlete, when you sign your contract, you're
- 25:52Speaker 2: also agreeing to releasing certain medical information. Okay, that's just
- 25:57Speaker 2: how it works injury reports and air competition, adding all
- 26:02Speaker 2: that stuff. Couldn't you just said he twisted his ankle,
- 26:10Speaker 2: something like who did this guy piss off in the
- 26:13Speaker 2: organization for them to be like, oh, yeah, yeah, he's
- 26:15Speaker 2: having his hemrhoids drained. Maybe it's the manager that he
- 26:20Speaker 2: pissed off, because it's his manager that confirmed the hospitalization.
- 26:27Speaker 1: I mean, I've never had a hemorrhoid. I don't know, uh,
- 26:33Speaker 1: but I do know this. My godfather, who is in
- 26:37Speaker 1: the Chiefs Hall of Fame at one point was voted
- 26:40Speaker 1: one of the top ten toughest men to play in
- 26:42Speaker 1: the NFL, played with broken leg, broken arm, broken back.
- 26:52Speaker 1: He always said, till the day he died, the most
- 26:54Speaker 1: painful thing he ever did was play after having hemorrhoid surgery.
- 27:01Speaker 2: Ugh, oh, man, I can't imagine that. I really can't.
- 27:06Speaker 2: Like I'm thinking back to my very limited high school
- 27:09Speaker 2: football playing days just after a hemorrhoid surgery. Just existing
- 27:16Speaker 2: would hurt. Sitting will hurt, Walking will hurt. I can't
- 27:20Speaker 2: even fathom running, let alone running and running into other
- 27:25Speaker 2: people with you know, serious violence. Oh do you know.
- 27:33Speaker 1: The little the little trot that Ogre does when he's
- 27:36Speaker 1: leaving the field on Revenge of the Nerds. After then
- 27:39Speaker 1: they have the liquid heat and the job. That's kind
- 27:42Speaker 1: of Cheryl would demonstrate how he would prance off to
- 27:45Speaker 1: the sideline because all he wanted to do was go
- 27:47Speaker 1: sit on the donut, you know those foam donuts they
- 27:49Speaker 1: would give you after hemorhoid surgery, and that it looked very.
- 27:51Speaker 6: Much like that.
- 27:53Speaker 2: Oh man, I don't know there's enough preparation h on
- 27:55Speaker 2: the planet to make that feel better.
- 27:59Speaker 4: I mean, kudos to him for taking care of it, right.
- 28:01Speaker 4: This was a baseball player.
- 28:04Speaker 2: Yeah, I believe he still is. I don't think.
- 28:06Speaker 4: I don't think it's retired him, but I mean, you
- 28:08Speaker 4: gotta take care of him. You don't want to slide
- 28:10Speaker 4: into home plate leaf skin marks. That's that's very important,
- 28:14Speaker 4: that's very true.
- 28:16Speaker 2: The plate is white, Yeah, the dirt may be brown,
- 28:19Speaker 2: but the plate is white.
- 28:24Speaker 6: Wow.
- 28:24Speaker 1: Okay, maybe I don't I understand what a hemorrhoid is.
- 28:28Speaker 1: I thought it was like a grow. I didn't know
- 28:30Speaker 1: you drained them.
- 28:31Speaker 5: I didn't either either.
- 28:33Speaker 2: No, I mean I honestly I didn't even necessarily know.
- 28:36Speaker 2: I guess I've never thought about it about like, oh,
- 28:39Speaker 2: can you do.
- 28:39Speaker 3: Surgery on a hemorrhoid? I guess you could.
- 28:41Speaker 2: You can do surgery on anything. But as far as
- 28:44Speaker 2: my knowledge of hemorrhoids, it's just a protrusion of you know,
- 28:50Speaker 2: the little tissue just inside your your bung hole right
- 28:58Speaker 2: as you both go to start looking stuff up and look,
- 29:02Speaker 2: I grew I almost said, I almost said, look, I
- 29:05Speaker 2: grew up with hemorrhoids, not on me. Not that there's
- 29:08Speaker 2: anything wrong with that. It's a sad thing if it happens.
- 29:10Speaker 2: I think I've probably had some as an adult, never
- 29:12Speaker 2: had him as a kid. What I mean by I
- 29:15Speaker 2: grew up with hemorrhoids is my dad. I think it
- 29:18Speaker 2: was my dad that had them, because I remember in
- 29:20Speaker 2: our refrigerator at all times there was always a tube
- 29:23Speaker 2: of preparation h in there. And this was the eighties,
- 29:26Speaker 2: this was long before anyone knew that you if you
- 29:29Speaker 2: put preparation H like under your eyes, it can actually
- 29:32Speaker 2: reduce the swelling and the bags under your eyes. People
- 29:35Speaker 2: use preparation H now for cosmetic reasons, not just for hemorrhoids.
- 29:40Speaker 2: But I remember opening up that refrigerator. There was always
- 29:45Speaker 2: in that little window where you're supposed to put the
- 29:47Speaker 2: butter in the door, you know, there was always a
- 29:49Speaker 2: little tube of preparation H in there, And I just
- 29:51Speaker 2: thought it was a guy thing. Now that I'm thinking about,
- 29:53Speaker 2: it's like, I guess it could have been my mom.
- 29:54Speaker 2: I don't know. I've never asked her my dad.
- 29:59Speaker 6: As heck of a reason for you to pick up
- 30:02Speaker 6: the phone and call mom.
- 30:03Speaker 3: It really would be Number one, she would love to
- 30:06Speaker 3: hear from me.
- 30:06Speaker 2: Number Two, I don't think she would want me to say,
- 30:10Speaker 2: so the reason I'm calling today is did you have
- 30:12Speaker 2: hemorrhoids a lot in the eighties. I'm pretty sure at
- 30:16Speaker 2: that point she'll immediately blame my dad, like she does
- 30:18Speaker 2: with everything.
- 30:23Speaker 4: Rightfully, so women should never give away their secrets.
- 30:30Speaker 2: So anyway, Yeah, I grew up with preparation H tubes
- 30:33Speaker 2: of my refrigerator, so I was aware of hemorrhoids as
- 30:35Speaker 2: a kid. But to be honest with you, I didn't
- 30:38Speaker 2: really know what they were. And then at some point
- 30:42Speaker 2: I guess there was some sort of awareness that it
- 30:44Speaker 2: was something with you butt.
- 30:45Speaker 6: I don't know.
- 30:46Speaker 2: I didn't really know.
- 30:46Speaker 4: It didn't really affect me, so I it was just
- 30:49Speaker 4: there in the fridge, and I knew not to eat it.
- 30:51Speaker 4: I got most of my hemorrhoid knowledge from our former coworker.
- 31:01Speaker 2: The one in all right, this is where the show
- 31:04Speaker 2: gets weird. Are you talking about the dead one or
- 31:07Speaker 2: the one that's in federal prison?
- 31:10Speaker 6: Oh?
- 31:10Speaker 2: The dead one, Okay, just checking because the one that's
- 31:16Speaker 2: in federal prison probably has his own newfound knowledge of hemorrhoids.
- 31:23Speaker 2: Teach you to touch kids.
- 31:30Speaker 4: I mean, if if I'm being Trey's gickling that makes
- 31:33Speaker 4: me giggle.
- 31:38Speaker 2: That's kind of It's kind of fitting. We started the
- 31:39Speaker 2: show with prison sex. Maybe we can into it with
- 31:42Speaker 2: prison sex. Uh Okay, So when you guys just now, uh,
- 31:51Speaker 2: did you search on hemorrhoids and surgery? Did you find anything, Jerry?
- 31:55Speaker 2: Would you find?
- 31:57Speaker 9: Uh?
- 31:57Speaker 5: Well?
- 31:57Speaker 4: A hembrooid is basically a blood claw that forms in
- 32:02Speaker 4: a swollen vein, which causes it to like really expand
- 32:07Speaker 4: out like a little bubble. And apparently now instead of
- 32:12Speaker 4: just having them removed if they're not serious, a way
- 32:16Speaker 4: that you can mitigate how bad they are is to
- 32:19Speaker 4: have them drained professionally. Obviously, as you apply your ointments
- 32:27Speaker 4: and you do the things necessary for them to go away.
- 32:29Speaker 4: So it just makes them a little more comfortable to
- 32:32Speaker 4: deal with them while you write it out, so to speak.
- 32:34Speaker 6: Got it? You know?
- 32:35Speaker 2: You do bring up a solid point. If you are
- 32:38Speaker 2: going to have any medical procedure done, especially hemorrhoid draining,
- 32:42Speaker 2: make sure you're going to a professional, because I don't
- 32:45Speaker 2: think you want to go into someone's garage who claims
- 32:48Speaker 2: to be an amateur hemorrhoid drainage expert. I don't think
- 32:53Speaker 2: that's going to end well for you.
- 32:56Speaker 5: I don't think it's going.
- 32:56Speaker 6: To be Are you talking from experience?
- 33:01Speaker 2: I don't need to experience that to know you shouldn't
- 33:05Speaker 2: do it. I'm just I'm making a blanket statement across
- 33:08Speaker 2: the board on the whole. If you need to have
- 33:13Speaker 2: a hemorrhoid drained, don't have it done by an amateur.
- 33:16Speaker 2: Make sure it's done by an actual professional.
- 33:19Speaker 6: Make sure they at least have a business card, at.
- 33:22Speaker 9: Least a business card, Give me a website, at least
- 33:26Speaker 9: at least a linked at least a link tree website,
- 33:30Speaker 9: just something something to lend a little bit of credibility.
- 33:36Speaker 4: Yeah, I don't think that's going to be on the
- 33:38Speaker 4: standard esthetician menu.
- 33:42Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 33:42Speaker 2: I don't think you should go to some guy's house
- 33:45Speaker 2: who's wearing a shirt. If you got him, I'll pop
- 33:47Speaker 2: them and trust him to do it properly.
- 33:51Speaker 5: Throwing a free bleaching.
- 33:54Speaker 3: I don't think you should do those things at the
- 33:56Speaker 3: same time.
- 33:59Speaker 2: I don't think that's a two for one.
- 34:00Speaker 5: You should be.
- 34:01Speaker 2: Doing like Rudge, get a little miradic acid in there.
- 34:15Speaker 6: I just.
- 34:17Speaker 2: I now thank you Jerry for the.
- 34:22Speaker 3: The class on hemorrhoids or the information on the hemorrhoids.
- 34:31Speaker 2: It's important to note, though, that if you snoop in
- 34:34Speaker 2: somebody's house and you find preparation age, it may not
- 34:37Speaker 2: be because they have hemorrhids. It may actually be for
- 34:40Speaker 2: cosmetic reasons.
- 34:45Speaker 5: Dearly noted. I'm gonna have to go buy some right now.
- 34:51Speaker 6: Is that? Is that why it's in your fridge?
- 34:55Speaker 3: Yes, it's not due to any other reason.
