- 0:46Speaker 1: Two very large worlds for life.
- 0:48Speaker 2: One I'm speaking figuratively and two I'm speaking literally. Because
- 0:53Speaker 2: in Nashville at Jon bon Jovi's new bar, Shaquille O'Neill
- 1:01Speaker 2: met the Hawk to a Girl.
- 1:02Speaker 3: Wow, they hung out a little bit, apparently.
- 1:11Speaker 2: Shaquille O'Neil, for those that don't know, is his side
- 1:14Speaker 2: hustle is djang, he's a club DJ. So as part
- 1:19Speaker 2: of the big grand opening for John bon Jovi's new
- 1:22Speaker 2: place in Nashville, Shaquille O'Neil was there to bring down
- 1:26Speaker 2: the house on the ones and the twos. And I
- 1:28Speaker 2: don't know if Hawk to a Girl was there as
- 1:30Speaker 2: part of a promotional appearance or it's just because she
- 1:33Speaker 2: just bar hops on in Nashville every weekend, which is
- 1:35Speaker 2: very possible. But I do have a little snippet for
- 1:41Speaker 2: you that of the moment when Shaquille O'Neil brought the
- 1:46Speaker 2: Hawk to a girl on stage to share the to
- 1:50Speaker 2: share the limelight, just a moment.
- 1:52Speaker 1: We'll bring this audio up.
- 1:57Speaker 2: Because as you said, you said earlier, Raj, that uh uh,
- 2:01Speaker 2: how hot to a girl is? You know, riding this
- 2:04Speaker 2: wave of fame for everything it is worth, Yes, you
- 2:21Speaker 2: know what it may be a one trick pony show,
- 2:23Speaker 2: but it.
- 2:25Speaker 1: Run with it while you can.
- 2:27Speaker 3: Yeah, and then you're gonna and then and then it's
- 2:29Speaker 3: gonna fade, and it's then it's gonna be a one
- 2:31Speaker 3: trick donkey show, and then it's.
- 2:32Speaker 1: Just gonna.
- 2:35Speaker 2: I think that was immediately after the set that Shack played.
- 2:42Speaker 3: It sure felt like it.
- 2:44Speaker 1: I'm sure it did.
- 2:45Speaker 2: The uh, because that's what I thought when I saw
- 2:49Speaker 2: the photo the other day of Shaquille O'Neil hanging out
- 2:52Speaker 2: with the Hawk to a girl. Uh, it was okay, well, okay,
- 2:56Speaker 2: shaq has met the Hawk to a girl, and it's
- 2:59Speaker 2: what I'm now called the Hawk to a challenge. Let's see,
- 3:05Speaker 2: let's see how much spit you got, honey, She's going.
- 3:12Speaker 3: To be sponsored by some sort of electrolyte drinking stay
- 3:21Speaker 3: as hydrated as the Hawk to a girl on a
- 3:22Speaker 3: Saturday night.
- 3:25Speaker 2: If that's not in the works, yeah, everybody, everybody in
- 3:29Speaker 2: promotional marketing needs to be fired.
- 3:31Speaker 3: And then she was at some there was some country
- 3:33Speaker 3: concert that she was out with. They brought her up
- 3:34Speaker 3: on stage because at first it thought it was a
- 3:37Speaker 3: guest appearance, but it turns out she was in fear
- 3:39Speaker 3: of her life and security put her on stage so
- 3:43Speaker 3: that she wouldn't be harassed. Oh yes, that's what the
- 3:47Speaker 3: new spin on it is, so.
- 3:49Speaker 1: As opposed to she was.
- 3:53Speaker 2: Or paid to be there or yeah, or it's something
- 3:55Speaker 2: along those lines.
- 3:56Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 3:57Speaker 3: Yeah, but now they were like, no, no, she wasn't
- 3:58Speaker 3: paid to be there. She was in fear of her life.
- 4:02Speaker 3: She was very appropriately dressed for the event in uh,
- 4:07Speaker 3: knee high cowboy boots and white short shorts, white shirt,
- 4:10Speaker 3: white cowboy hat.
- 4:12Speaker 2: That's that standard girl outfit at country shows.
- 4:15Speaker 3: Mm hm. So I don't know if she was in
- 4:18Speaker 3: fear of her life or if she was actually just
- 4:20Speaker 3: paid to be there, but they're putting some nice spin
- 4:22Speaker 3: on it.
- 4:22Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 4:23Speaker 4: I saw an interview with her. I think I barstool
- 4:26Speaker 4: sports are outkicked, but she actually comes across its very
- 4:30Speaker 4: nice and down to earth. I mean, yeah, but she's
- 4:34Speaker 4: gonna ride this wave and then yeah, she rerely wants
- 4:38Speaker 4: to cash in on it. There's an only her only
- 4:40Speaker 4: fans account would make her millions in a few months.
- 4:44Speaker 3: Yeah, that's and she should and she should, she should.
- 4:47Speaker 3: I was gonna say hop on that, but that's a
- 4:48Speaker 3: terrible way to break she.
- 4:50Speaker 2: Should well, in order to hop on, in order to
- 4:52Speaker 2: hop on, shack, she's gonna have to climb first.
- 4:58Speaker 3: Yeah, I just yeah, she should. And nothing you could
- 5:01Speaker 3: say like jump on that bandwagon like you can't anything
- 5:05Speaker 3: talking about the howk Deil girl just is gonna infer
- 5:07Speaker 3: that well, I mean, you know, yeah, well, I mean,
- 5:14Speaker 3: and good for her, she's getting her you know, I
- 5:17Speaker 3: feel I just feel bad for the tens of thousands
- 5:19Speaker 3: of really talented people that can't get representation. And all
- 5:22Speaker 3: she had to do is go, this is what I do,
- 5:25Speaker 3: and the whole world went, yes.
- 5:27Speaker 1: You do. Sometimes that's just how it works.
- 5:30Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, that's what I always say. I mean, if
- 5:34Speaker 4: you go back early, you know, late nineties, early two thousands,
- 5:38Speaker 4: there were thousands of people more talented than Britney Spears.
- 5:41Speaker 3: Yeah. But I mean if now you have to ask
- 5:44Speaker 3: yourself this, if they wouldn't have picked Britney Spears, would
- 5:47Speaker 3: we have this beautiful train wreck that we do today. No,
- 5:51Speaker 3: we wouldn't.
- 5:53Speaker 4: Oh there's there's that's it. Yes you would. She's trailer
- 5:58Speaker 4: park in Louisiana. Yes, Will she doing the same thing?
- 6:01Speaker 3: Will she be dancing with machetes?
- 6:04Speaker 1: Probably?
- 6:08Speaker 2: It just wouldn't be for such a large audience.
- 6:15Speaker 1: What's that tray?
- 6:16Speaker 4: It'd be on cops.
- 6:22Speaker 5: You're listening to the tree House.
- 6:25Speaker 6: Visit us online, that Treehouse on air dot com.
- 6:29Speaker 2: Yeah, she'd be live pd famous, Mama June's best.
- 6:37Speaker 4: Friend, Mama June's hot best friend, dance, not a lawnmower.
- 6:50Speaker 4: I did it again? Hit me baby one more time.
- 6:57Speaker 4: Would have a whole new meeting.
- 6:59Speaker 1: Oh, there we go.
- 7:14Speaker 5: You're listening to the Treehouse.
- 7:17Speaker 6: Visit us online, That Treehouse on air dot com.
- 7:25Speaker 2: Time now to talk to Daniel Cook from cook DFW
- 7:28Speaker 2: Roofing and Restoration for your free roof inspection and to
- 7:31Speaker 2: get yourself on the very important cook list eight three
- 7:34Speaker 2: to three cook DFW or the website cookdfw dot com.
- 7:38Speaker 2: It's that time of season, Daniel, and that season is,
- 7:41Speaker 2: of course, people on their roofs decorating for the holidays.
- 7:43Speaker 2: Many people already have decorated, which means they're going to
- 7:46Speaker 2: take them down soon. And is that when they're going
- 7:49Speaker 2: to discover that maybe they did little damage to their
- 7:52Speaker 2: roof when they put up Santa Claus and his reindeer man.
- 7:56Speaker 7: It is that time of the year, Merry Christmas, to
- 7:58Speaker 7: you and everybody listening, and yes, sir, we see a
- 8:01Speaker 7: lot of roof damage, especially around the edges of the
- 8:06Speaker 7: people's homes. A lot of people will skirt around the
- 8:10Speaker 7: sides because they get scared about going too far up,
- 8:12Speaker 7: and they kind of hold themselves up around the edge
- 8:15Speaker 7: as they're plugging the lights around, or they'll hold the
- 8:19Speaker 7: ladder against the side of the roof and they'll damage
- 8:21Speaker 7: the shingles all the way around the edges. So there's
- 8:24Speaker 7: a lot of things that happen to shingles, and it
- 8:26Speaker 7: may not damage it right away enough to leak, but
- 8:28Speaker 7: it's going to potentially.
- 8:29Speaker 4: Put it there.
- 8:30Speaker 7: So we always suggest having your roof checked out once
- 8:33Speaker 7: a year at least obviously for all the weather that
- 8:36Speaker 7: we have, but especially if you know you've had people
- 8:38Speaker 7: on top of your roof hanging lights or decorations, or
- 8:42Speaker 7: you know you see some shingles that are starting to
- 8:44Speaker 7: fold on the corner, so let us come out, let's
- 8:46Speaker 7: do an inspection. May need some minor repairs, but it
- 8:48Speaker 7: could save you potentially thousands of dollars later on.
- 8:51Speaker 2: Eight three to three cook DFW. That's eight three to
- 8:53Speaker 2: three cook DFW or that website cookdfw dot com.
- 9:04Speaker 8: You're in the treehouse.
- 9:07Speaker 9: Vistit us online at treehouseonair dot com.
- 9:11Speaker 2: This segment of the Treehouse is brought to you by
- 9:13Speaker 2: COOKDFW Roofing and Restoration for your free roof inspection. Also
- 9:19Speaker 2: to get yourself on the very important cook list where
- 9:22Speaker 2: they give you a call once a year for free
- 9:23Speaker 2: services to come around and check to make sure your
- 9:26Speaker 2: property is good and ready for storms and heat and
- 9:29Speaker 2: all the elements that gets thrown at North Texas and
- 9:34Speaker 2: is after your roof eight three three cook DFW eight
- 9:37Speaker 2: three three cook dfw the website cookdfw dot com. So
- 9:41Speaker 2: now let's get to the guts of an example, one
- 9:46Speaker 2: of the greatest examples of all time that Trey posted
- 9:49Speaker 2: on social media as to why he has.
- 9:51Speaker 1: Given up on dating.
- 9:53Speaker 2: Now that we're fully armed with why he's given up
- 9:55Speaker 2: on love, now we should dip into why he's given
- 9:59Speaker 2: up on dating in this specific scenario, and that is
- 10:05Speaker 2: when the ex girlfriend rings the doorbell camera of the
- 10:12Speaker 2: ex boyfriend and asks where have you been?
- 10:16Speaker 1: Even though she told them not to contact her anymore?
- 10:20Speaker 3: Kay, yeah, that shows up at her I.
- 10:25Speaker 10: Had to come all the way on my day off.
- 10:29Speaker 2: Let's also point out very quickly on this doorbell camera
- 10:32Speaker 2: video that before I even heard the video, when I
- 10:35Speaker 2: saw Trey post this on Instagram, I looked at the
- 10:38Speaker 2: background and thought, Hey, those houses look kind of British
- 10:41Speaker 2: and the female subject in question is a very pretty
- 10:45Speaker 2: black lady. So I was like, Oh, I wonder if
- 10:47Speaker 2: she has an English accent, And.
- 10:50Speaker 10: Just because you haven't texted me, she does.
- 10:54Speaker 2: I don't know why I felt the need to point
- 10:55Speaker 2: that out, but it made me feel good, so I
- 10:56Speaker 2: felt like.
- 10:56Speaker 1: Sharing it with you. So anyway, back to the crazy
- 10:59Speaker 1: on my.
- 11:00Speaker 10: Way off, just because you haven't texted me?
- 11:03Speaker 3: Sorry?
- 11:03Speaker 10: What why do you act like that?
- 11:07Speaker 3: Well? Because you but why you here?
- 11:11Speaker 10: Because you haven't said anything to me for the past
- 11:13Speaker 10: two weeks?
- 11:14Speaker 2: Okay have you seen me?
- 11:19Speaker 11: Okay, but you told me to not to not contact
- 11:22Speaker 11: you anymore.
- 11:24Speaker 10: That doesn't mean don't contact me, are you dumb?
- 11:27Speaker 3: Like, yes, I've dated the American version of her. The
- 11:36Speaker 3: Ricky Gervaise version is way better.
- 11:42Speaker 2: Oh that really to me is like if this was
- 11:44Speaker 2: a movie, that would be one of the all time
- 11:48Speaker 2: classic lines from film. Why haven't you in contacted me?
- 11:53Speaker 2: You told me not to that doesn't mean. That doesn't
- 11:56Speaker 2: mean don't contact me. It's so good, it really is frightening.
- 12:08Speaker 10: Have you seen me?
- 12:10Speaker 11: Okay, but you told me to not to not contact
- 12:12Speaker 11: you anymore.
- 12:14Speaker 10: That doesn't mean don't contact me? Are you dumb?
- 12:18Speaker 3: Like?
- 12:18Speaker 10: Are you actually thick?
- 12:20Speaker 11: You said to me you would appreciate no further contact.
- 12:24Speaker 4: You broke up with me.
- 12:26Speaker 10: That was me then.
- 12:29Speaker 12: For two weeks to even care about my life as
- 12:31Speaker 12: to be dead for all years and you just don't care.
- 12:34Speaker 12: Don't care about my family, don't care about my pet,
- 12:37Speaker 12: you don't care about my cat that you love so much.
- 12:40Speaker 11: How am I supposed to contact you yet? When you've
- 12:42Speaker 11: blocked me? You blocked me off Instagram, blocked my phone?
- 12:46Speaker 11: How am I supposed to contact you?
- 12:48Speaker 12: You're acting like you don't know where I lived. You
- 12:51Speaker 12: could have come, you could have you could have emailed me.
- 12:53Speaker 12: I've got another Instagram. I've got three Instagram accounts and
- 12:56Speaker 12: we have any contact with me?
- 12:57Speaker 10: How dare you?
- 12:59Speaker 2: That may be my favorite part? You blocked me on Instagram. Baby,
- 13:05Speaker 2: I've got more account You're just not trying hard en, you.
- 13:10Speaker 3: Know, acting like you don't know my aliases? And I
- 13:17Speaker 3: like the like you can just show up at my house. Yeah,
- 13:19Speaker 3: that's how people get shot and or arrested. Yeah, yeah,
- 13:24Speaker 3: she's she's turned it to eleven. I like her.
- 13:28Speaker 2: Well, that's the thing that to me. That's yet that's
- 13:30Speaker 2: another special angle on this is that it's a fight
- 13:34Speaker 2: really just between the ex girlfriend at her boyfriend. The
- 13:37Speaker 2: boyfriend's like why are you? But it's all still very British.
- 13:41Speaker 2: If this was the American version, it'd be way louder.
- 13:44Speaker 3: Yeah. Also, can I like just for the neighbor, because
- 13:48Speaker 3: this is how my brain works, Like I just see
- 13:50Speaker 3: the neighbors Like is she talking? Is that crazy bitch
- 13:52Speaker 3: talking to the door, Like that's what that's what it
- 13:56Speaker 3: looks like. Can she see like is it one of
- 13:58Speaker 3: those cameras where she can see his face It is
- 14:01Speaker 3: still on the door, but like she looks like she's
- 14:03Speaker 3: making eye contact or she's done this so many times
- 14:06Speaker 3: she knows where to look.
- 14:09Speaker 1: That's an excellent point. Yeah, she knows.
- 14:11Speaker 2: She knows that right there is Yeah, it's the sweet
- 14:14Speaker 2: spot to look deep into his soul and convince him
- 14:17Speaker 2: that he's in the wrong here.
- 14:21Speaker 11: What do you mean?
- 14:21Speaker 3: How dare you brought me?
- 14:22Speaker 11: You taught me to not contact you.
- 14:25Speaker 12: I've literally been waiting for two weeks and you still
- 14:29Speaker 12: haven't said anything to me.
- 14:30Speaker 11: I'm the whole man yet, because when I tried to
- 14:33Speaker 11: message you, and when I tried to call you, you just
- 14:35Speaker 11: ignored me after text after text after text, and then
- 14:40Speaker 11: you send me a big old paragraph, yeah, explaining saying
- 14:43Speaker 11: all the feelings aren't the same anymore, and now you'd
- 14:45Speaker 11: appreciate for me to leave you alone.
- 14:48Speaker 10: I don't know why you hate me so much.
- 14:53Speaker 3: I was waiting for it. I was wondering where that
- 14:54Speaker 3: line was gonna come in. You know, it's it's good
- 14:58Speaker 3: to see h that. Uh, that kind of crazy is universal.
- 15:04Speaker 4: I was just thinking that it just you know, the
- 15:07Speaker 4: Atlantic can't stop that kind of crazy. No, no, that uh,
- 15:12Speaker 4: because that line has that line has been used on me.
- 15:16Speaker 3: Of me too. But I'm just like the Atlantic has
- 15:19Speaker 3: sank the Titanic.
- 15:20Speaker 4: It can't think crazy.
- 15:25Speaker 3: Crazy makes it the port on.
- 15:27Speaker 2: Time, if anything, a little early and unannounced when you
- 15:34Speaker 2: least expected.
- 15:36Speaker 4: You just drop the sea word in the Turbo Express.
- 15:42Speaker 2: Look at that. It looks like there's more than one
- 15:44Speaker 2: person capable of walking on water.
- 15:54Speaker 3: Yeah, that's a I Ve had the that's why you
- 15:57Speaker 3: hate me, so you don't even care about me. Yeah, okay,
- 16:00Speaker 3: well you left my I like how she got dressed,
- 16:05Speaker 3: Like she got dressed, and she's like, I'm gonna talk
- 16:08Speaker 3: to that door. You'll see, you'll love me again. I
- 16:13Speaker 3: don't know how it ends, but I hope, uh, I
- 16:16Speaker 3: hope he didn't. I know what happened. He went back
- 16:18Speaker 3: to her. It has to be. It has to be
- 16:21Speaker 3: that he went back.
- 16:22Speaker 1: Does he go back to her tray?
- 16:27Speaker 4: I'm gonna guess he thought about it. I'm gonna guess
- 16:29Speaker 4: he probably posted that video just to to scorch the
- 16:32Speaker 4: earth so he couldn't there you go.
- 16:35Speaker 2: Oh, he protected himself from himself. That is very smart.
- 16:39Speaker 2: Let's skip to the end and see what happens.
- 16:42Speaker 11: Well, yeah, I don't want to.
- 16:48Speaker 2: Oh oh that was actually a perfect uh skip ahead.
- 16:52Speaker 2: Why do you hate me too? I hate you so much?
- 16:57Speaker 3: You gotta you gotta give credit to the crying. It's
- 16:59Speaker 3: so it's so good you can.
- 17:01Speaker 10: Come and show your face. You can't even calm down
- 17:04Speaker 10: and speak to me.
- 17:06Speaker 3: I don't want to.
- 17:09Speaker 10: I hate you so much.
- 17:12Speaker 3: I think the medicine is kicking him now mm hmm,
- 17:15Speaker 3: you do unblock me.
- 17:19Speaker 4: But you blocked me.
- 17:23Speaker 3: I mean, uh oh, we run out of logic.
- 17:30Speaker 2: Oh that that was long ago.
- 17:34Speaker 10: You're on blocks right now?
- 17:39Speaker 3: Which account.
- 17:45Speaker 2: She's got to toggle? Between all of them.
- 17:48Speaker 3: You're on blocked? This one says I have to pay
- 17:50Speaker 3: five ninety.
- 17:53Speaker 4: Oh bollocks.

- 18:24Speaker 2: When I had my house in Dallas, Jacqueline, you came
- 18:26Speaker 2: out a few times to help us with some issues,
- 18:29Speaker 2: and your response time was phenomenal. And it wasn't just
- 18:33Speaker 2: because it was me. It was because that's the kind
- 18:35Speaker 2: of company you run. You go out of your way
- 18:37Speaker 2: trying to help every client and try to get there
- 18:40Speaker 2: as soon as you can.
- 18:41Speaker 13: Well, I mean the reality of it is is that
- 18:43Speaker 13: plumbing is unfortunately a need and not so much a want. Yes,
- 18:47Speaker 13: you can want to remodel the bathroom and that's not pressing,
- 18:51Speaker 13: but typically when it comes to service or leak investigations,
- 18:54Speaker 13: et cetera, et cetera. If you've got to stoppage on
- 18:57Speaker 13: the mainline and you don't know, oh, and you keep
- 19:01Speaker 13: putting liquid or you know, waste into the drains, if
- 19:06Speaker 13: it has nowhere to go, we'll come back in the house.
- 19:09Speaker 13: And at that point in time, it's no longer a want,
- 19:12Speaker 13: it's a need, and that sort of thing can't wait.
- 19:15Speaker 13: When you have those emergencies, you have got to figure
- 19:19Speaker 13: out how to manage the crew so that you can
- 19:21Speaker 13: have the best response time.
- 19:22Speaker 2: That's right, and they'll show up and they'll do it quickly.
- 19:25Speaker 2: Call Jacqueline from Brooks Plumbing for any and all of
- 19:28Speaker 2: those plumbing wants and needs two one fourth three six

- 19:48Speaker 2: needs called Brooks Plumbing two one four, three six eight
- 19:51Speaker 2: thirty eight thirty eight. That's two one four, three six
- 19:54Speaker 2: eight thirty eight thirty eight. I say want or need,
- 19:56Speaker 2: because sometimes you got like a fun thing you want
- 19:59Speaker 2: to do with some plumbing in the house. Like I
- 20:01Speaker 2: remember the last house we had in Dallas. It actually
- 20:04Speaker 2: did not have a garbage disposal in the scene. It
- 20:07Speaker 2: was like, well, I live, I live in America, damn it,
- 20:10Speaker 2: I'm gonna make sure I not only have a garbage
- 20:14Speaker 2: disposal in there, but one that could, you know, chew
- 20:16Speaker 2: up a beaver dam if I wanted to, so did that.
- 20:20Speaker 2: Or if it's in need, like when I had a
- 20:22Speaker 2: slight sewer leak, Brooks Plumbing was there next day and
- 20:24Speaker 2: fix that for me.
- 20:25Speaker 1: So there you go.
- 20:25Speaker 2: Two, one, fourth, three, six, eight, thirty eight thirty eight
- 20:27Speaker 2: Brooks Plumbing for any and all of your plumbing wants
- 20:29Speaker 2: in needs. Brooks Plumbing, Texas dot Com. You know what
- 20:35Speaker 2: it's time for.
- 20:36Speaker 1: Right yes? Oh yeah, okay, just make sure it is
- 20:44Speaker 1: a time for birthdays.
- 20:45Speaker 2: Today is Friday, July twelfth, twenty twenty four. Birthdays today
- 20:51Speaker 2: from the marvelous missus Bezel. Rachel Brosnahan turns thirty three.
- 20:56Speaker 2: That is what she is best known as, although that
- 20:59Speaker 2: will change, I believe next year when she debuts as
- 21:04Speaker 2: Lois Lane in the upcoming Superman Legacy movie that will
- 21:08Speaker 2: be part of the new DC Comics movie Universe, spearheaded
- 21:12Speaker 2: by James Gunn, So that'll be interesting to see how
- 21:16Speaker 2: the New Superman goes.
- 21:19Speaker 3: It's very Christopher Reevish. I'm just saying, I don't know
- 21:22Speaker 3: if you've seen some of the pictures.
- 21:24Speaker 1: I've seen some.
- 21:24Speaker 2: Yeah, my algorithms keep showing me, you know, nerdy stuff like, Okay,
- 21:28Speaker 2: here's a here's a shot of whatever the actor's name
- 21:31Speaker 2: is playing Superman in a Superman outfit and everyone's like, oh,
- 21:34Speaker 2: it looks terrible, looks like garbage.
- 21:35Speaker 1: Blah blah blah blah blah. Sorry. Alex Jones is also
- 21:37Speaker 1: in it.
- 21:39Speaker 4: I saw a story and I don't know if it's
- 21:41Speaker 4: true or not that Christopher Eve's son is going to
- 21:44Speaker 4: have a small part in it, and it's like a
- 21:45Speaker 4: newspaper reporter. Yeah, he looks remarkably like his dad.
- 21:51Speaker 3: Really yeah, yeah, yeah, but he is a I thought
- 21:55Speaker 3: they were trying to get him to play Jimmy Olsen,
- 21:57Speaker 3: but I don't know.
- 21:59Speaker 4: Yes, that that, yes, that was it.
- 22:00Speaker 3: Okay, Yeah, so I think he is playing Jimilson, which
- 22:03Speaker 3: is very cool that his son's going to be in that,
- 22:08Speaker 3: which is one of those things that Hollywood's doing now
- 22:10Speaker 3: because I don't know if you've seen The Sopranos pretty coquel,
- 22:15Speaker 3: but that's James Gandalfini's son is playing the young Tony Soprano.
- 22:19Speaker 1: I did remember hearing about that.
- 22:21Speaker 2: I didn't watch the prequel, but I remember thinking, Oh,
- 22:23Speaker 2: that's a cool thing, getting him to take the role
- 22:25Speaker 2: that his dad made famous.
- 22:27Speaker 4: Yeah, it's working in baseball and basketball. Nepotism lives.
- 22:31Speaker 2: Oh, Nepotism is strongest in two industries, right, Hollywood and sports.
- 22:38Speaker 3: Oh, if there was no nepotism, you wouldn't have any
- 22:40Speaker 3: more Bollywood movies. That'd be over, Like they couldn't get
- 22:43Speaker 3: their kids in. I mean their whole thing is like
- 22:46Speaker 3: there's one family that runs that's in every movie. Like
- 22:49Speaker 3: that's just a fact, Like they're in all the stuff.
- 22:52Speaker 3: It's pretty impressive. So, yeah, the entertainment industry very much
- 22:56Speaker 3: so because you know, you put Kate, she can't she's
- 23:02Speaker 3: not good, she's not good at the acting, but her
- 23:05Speaker 3: parents or so that's what is she not like? I like,
- 23:11Speaker 3: she's the same person in every movie.
- 23:14Speaker 2: Well, that can be said about a number of people
- 23:16Speaker 2: look at.
- 23:16Speaker 3: Vince Okay again point noted, correct.
- 23:22Speaker 2: Look at it this way. I don't know if anyone's
- 23:24Speaker 2: really looking at someone like say, when I like Vince Vaughan,
- 23:27Speaker 2: who in essence plays the same you know, it's him,
- 23:30Speaker 2: just with a different name, right, He basically plays the
- 23:33Speaker 2: same thing in every film. No one's gonna go out
- 23:36Speaker 2: there and say, oh my god, what a fine actor.
- 23:39Speaker 2: But he is a star. And to me, that's the difference.
- 23:42Speaker 1: In Hollywood.
- 23:42Speaker 2: You've got two things. You've gotten the stars and you've
- 23:45Speaker 2: got the actors. You occasionally get them overlapping, and that's
- 23:50Speaker 2: when you get, you know, the mega talents, like say
- 23:52Speaker 2: at Denzel Washington.
- 23:54Speaker 3: Yes, okay, I agree with that.
- 23:56Speaker 8: She is.
- 23:57Speaker 3: She's very much a star. She's not an actor.
- 24:01Speaker 4: I thought she there was a genre of kind of
- 24:05Speaker 4: late nineties, early two thousand kind of rom com movies
- 24:08Speaker 4: where she was good and.
- 24:11Speaker 3: Yes, she was the same person in every single that's
- 24:15Speaker 3: the movies were good.
- 24:17Speaker 4: I mean I put her in the Drew Barrymore category basically.
- 24:20Speaker 3: Of yeah, there you go, that's that's fair. That was
- 24:24Speaker 3: yeah this generation or our generations, well, Drew Barrymore was
- 24:29Speaker 3: still ours, so yeah, but yeah, that's that's who. That'd
- 24:32Speaker 3: be perfectly fair to put her in that thing.
- 24:35Speaker 2: Letty from The Fast and the Furious movies. Michelle Rodriguez,
- 24:38Speaker 2: she is forty five. She's also in the Resident Evil movies.
- 24:42Speaker 2: She was Avatar also on Lost of course tof Ford
- 24:46Speaker 2: Grace from that seventies show, and Venom in Spider Man three.
- 24:50Speaker 1: He is forty six today.
- 24:52Speaker 8: Wow.
- 24:53Speaker 2: WWE Superstar brock lesnar forty seven. There's also so Christi
- 25:01Speaker 2: Yamaguchi Olympic Golden Medalist and Dancing with the Stars champion
- 25:05Speaker 2: she won the sixth season. She is fifty three today.
- 25:09Speaker 8: Wow.
- 25:09Speaker 2: And Young Hun Lee is fifty four. He plays the
- 25:13Speaker 2: T one thousand and Terminator genesis Billy Rocks in the
- 25:16Speaker 2: Magnificent Seven remake, which, if you guys have not seen
- 25:18Speaker 2: the Magnificent Seven remake, interestingly enough, headed up by Denzel Washington,
- 25:23Speaker 2: who just got mentioned here on the show. It is wonderful.
- 25:26Speaker 2: And he also played storm Shadow in the g I.
- 25:28Speaker 8: Joe movies.
- 25:29Speaker 1: Got and Richard Simmons is seventy six.
- 25:32Speaker 3: Oh, supposedly nobody's seen him, so he could be dead.
- 25:37Speaker 3: I don't think he's dead, No, I think he's just
- 25:40Speaker 3: got one of those like quote assistants. That's just like now,
- 25:44Speaker 3: like about ten years ago, figured out like, hey, I
- 25:48Speaker 3: can steal all of his money if I just keep
- 25:50Speaker 3: him trapped in a closet or just in a box
- 25:54Speaker 3: in a basement and so.
- 25:55Speaker 2: But how much money does Richard Simmons really have? That
- 25:58Speaker 2: if he has a row assistant siphoning money off of him, Like,
- 26:04Speaker 2: how long can that truly last?
- 26:05Speaker 1: Uh?
- 26:06Speaker 3: There, he had a lot of money.
- 26:07Speaker 4: Yeah, really, Yeah, sweating to the oldies, they made a
- 26:13Speaker 4: lot of money.
- 26:14Speaker 3: I mean yeah. I mean his house is in the hills,
- 26:16Speaker 3: in the Hollywood Hills, and I'm guessing it's in the
- 26:19Speaker 3: like four to five million, six million dollar range.
- 26:21Speaker 2: I would imagine he's one of the few residents of
- 26:23Speaker 2: the Hollywood Hills that he can say his house was
- 26:26Speaker 2: built on the backs of old women.
- 26:29Speaker 3: There's a lot of producers that can say that his
- 26:33Speaker 3: just wasn't sexual.
- 26:34Speaker 1: Last I'm saying old women.
- 26:36Speaker 3: Yeah, Yeah, he put a lot of he put a
- 26:40Speaker 3: lot of new balances on a lot of feet, That's
- 26:42Speaker 3: what he did.
- 26:43Speaker 2: But yeah, my grandmother was one of them.
- 26:45Speaker 3: Oh she she did.
- 26:47Speaker 1: She had swept to the oldies.
- 26:49Speaker 3: Letterman and him were really good friends, like he was
- 26:51Speaker 3: on Letterman all the time.
- 26:52Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, my grandmother would uh, she'd sit in her recliner,
- 26:55Speaker 2: eat a half gallon tub of bluebellt butter pecan ice
- 26:58Speaker 2: cream and watch sweating to the old.
- 27:04Speaker 3: That was target demographic at least at least was blueble
- 27:09Speaker 3: ice cream and like a half a roast. And she
- 27:11Speaker 3: wasn't meat sweating to the oldies.
- 27:13Speaker 2: You know, well that actually would have been a more optimal.
- 27:16Speaker 4: Nutritional plan, insulin shock to the oldies.
- 27:25Speaker 1: Revive me with Richard Simmons. All right, Raj, I know
- 27:32Speaker 1: you're not a gun.
- 27:32Speaker 2: Guy, so when Trey found this story, I immediately thought
- 27:38Speaker 2: this would be perfect for your home defense scenario.
- 27:43Speaker 1: Okay, okay, I mean it.
- 27:46Speaker 3: Okay, I'm listening. I'm all ears.
- 27:49Speaker 2: Okay, hear me out. Okay, Matt's fueled attack squirrel.
- 27:58Speaker 3: Okay, how does it know to attack me?
- 28:02Speaker 4: Because you give it the myth?
- 28:05Speaker 3: Yes, because methoads are not known to turn on their dealers.
- 28:09Speaker 4: That's a squirrel.
- 28:10Speaker 2: That's why you use a squirrel and not a meth human.
- 28:13Speaker 2: Let me give you some more context. An Alabama man
- 28:16Speaker 2: accused of keeping meth fueled attack squirrel is facing new charges.
- 28:22Speaker 2: Mickey Palk was arrested in twenty nineteen after authorities received
- 28:26Speaker 2: a tip about the allegedly drugged squirrel. Aside from the rodent,
- 28:32Speaker 2: police also found body armor and meth. Yeah, his new charges,
- 28:39Speaker 2: though in a trial, have been delayed. NBC affiliate reported
- 28:44Speaker 2: last Monday that he was set to start a bench
- 28:46Speaker 2: trial that continued until the end of February because because
- 28:49Speaker 2: his attorney was not there. After his arrest in twenty nineteen,
- 28:54Speaker 2: he was charged with possession of a wild animal, stolen property,
- 28:57Speaker 2: and weapon possession by a felon, and the Limestone County
- 29:00Speaker 2: Sheriff's Office Relief released images of the attack squirrel just
- 29:05Speaker 2: to give you a quick synopsis of it. It just
- 29:09Speaker 2: looks like a normal squirrel because it's in their custody,
- 29:12Speaker 2: so it's not currently on the myth.
- 29:13Speaker 1: It's been detoxed.
- 29:15Speaker 3: Yeah, that's the That's the point in the story where
- 29:17Speaker 3: I would if you were if this was an actual
- 29:19Speaker 3: live news show, I would have switched out just as
- 29:21Speaker 3: a prank for you know, because we're buddies. I would
- 29:23Speaker 3: have switched it out for just a picture of Gary
- 29:25Speaker 3: Busey because if if if a meth fuel squirrel were
- 29:34Speaker 3: to come to life be him, it would be the abuse.
- 29:40Speaker 2: Okay, then I have an impromptu question for you, gentlemen.
- 29:46Speaker 2: If you had to face off in a death match
- 29:50Speaker 2: HM against a meth fueled attack squirrel or Gary Busey,
- 29:57Speaker 2: which one are you choosing as your opponent.
- 30:01Speaker 3: I'll go with the mett fueled squirrel because it'll be
- 30:04Speaker 3: more coherent, it.
- 30:07Speaker 2: Might be more suggestive to reason.
- 30:11Speaker 3: But I mean if you do go with music, I mean,
- 30:13Speaker 3: he might end up fighting your car next to you,
- 30:16Speaker 3: thinking that's you, and then you can just kind of
- 30:18Speaker 3: politely walk away.
- 30:20Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm gonna go with the squirrel as well, because
- 30:23Speaker 4: at least the myth has a chance to eat away
- 30:26Speaker 4: those front teeth of the squirrel.
- 30:31Speaker 2: Teeth are impervious.
- 30:44Speaker 5: You're listening to the Treehouse.
- 30:46Speaker 6: Visit us online that Treehouse on air dot com.
- 31:06Speaker 8: You're in the Treehouse.
- 31:08Speaker 9: Visit us online at Treehouse on air dot com.
- 31:13Speaker 8: And now.
- 31:15Speaker 1: I got to deliver on these two other teases for news.
- 31:21Speaker 1: Who has the power? Mmmm?
- 31:25Speaker 4: He Man?
- 31:27Speaker 2: You would think you would think he Man would have
- 31:29Speaker 2: the power he does in the cartoon, but not in
- 31:31Speaker 2: the real world, because you guys are familiar with smart thermostats, Yes, yes,
- 31:39Speaker 2: well there's a new type of program that is being
- 31:45Speaker 2: rolled out in some cities and some states, including Los
- 31:50Speaker 2: Angeles and Oregon. The smart thermostat programs are becoming more
- 31:55Speaker 2: and more common. We all know, like Nest cams and
- 31:58Speaker 2: things like that. Different company these have smart thermostats. But now,
- 32:02Speaker 2: because those thermostats are smart, they're connected to the internet.
- 32:06Speaker 2: You can choose if you want to join a program
- 32:11Speaker 2: with your local energy provider where they are given access
- 32:17Speaker 2: to your smart thermostats. So instead of them simply asking
- 32:21Speaker 2: you to conserve during peak consumption hours, they can turn
- 32:25Speaker 2: your thermostat up for you. See, and I can already
- 32:31Speaker 2: see that of all the things that have come along
- 32:34Speaker 2: in the last you know, couple hundred years, this may
- 32:39Speaker 2: be the final straw that gets Texas to secede from
- 32:42Speaker 2: the Union, because nobody, you're not giving up our thermostats.
- 32:45Speaker 4: I'm thinking that are there. This is the next civil war.
- 32:50Speaker 3: This is the thing you don't give. You shouldn't give
- 32:54Speaker 3: states where high potent weed is legal the ability to
- 32:59Speaker 3: come up with IDs. Yes, because what that was was
- 33:02Speaker 3: two really stone dudes on California and or Oregon weed.
- 33:06Speaker 3: I've had them both. They are delightful. You're not moving
- 33:11Speaker 3: you when you get high, you are, you are sat
- 33:15Speaker 3: So you better have your snacks and everything ready to go.
- 33:17Speaker 3: You need to set your thermostat to where you want
- 33:20Speaker 3: it to be. And I'm sure that was just two
- 33:22Speaker 3: dudes who were so stone. They're like, man, you got
- 33:25Speaker 3: to turn the air down, like man, I wish I couldn't. Like,
- 33:27Speaker 3: wouldn't it be great if the power company could do
- 33:30Speaker 3: it for us? And then somebody overheard that went brilliant, idea,
- 33:35Speaker 3: that's what we're gonna do.
- 33:37Speaker 2: Oregon's biggest Oregon's biggest power companies rolling out a new
- 33:40Speaker 2: smart thermostat program where they get to change the temperature
- 33:44Speaker 2: in your home. Other cities have been adding similar programs
- 33:47Speaker 2: over the last few years. You install the smart thermostat,
- 33:49Speaker 2: pay a little bit less each month in exchange for
- 33:53Speaker 2: letting them control your thermostat remotely. During peak hours, they
- 33:57Speaker 2: up the temperature by a few degrees to reduce strain
- 34:00Speaker 2: on the grid, usually between three PM and nine PM.
- 34:04Speaker 2: The new Oregon version limits it to three degrees, so
- 34:07Speaker 2: if your thermostat is set to seventy one, they would
- 34:09Speaker 2: be allowed to turn it up to seventy four. Some
- 34:11Speaker 2: cities set the macs even higher, like a program in
- 34:15Speaker 2: Los Angeles that lets them increase it by four degrees. However,
- 34:19Speaker 2: keep this in mind. You can override it by changing
- 34:22Speaker 2: the temperature manually, so keep that in mind.
- 34:26Speaker 3: Yeah, mine's set to seventy four anyway. Yeah, and that's
- 34:32Speaker 3: still chili for me. Yeah, I don't under like, I don't.
- 34:37Speaker 3: I mean, I don't understand like the sixty seven, Like, I.
- 34:40Speaker 4: Just that's seventy four is chili.
- 34:44Speaker 3: It can be. Yeah, like I prefer I seventy four
- 34:47Speaker 3: is like I can tolerate that. I'm good. Like, But
- 34:50Speaker 3: I'll go out, like I go out for my walk
- 34:53Speaker 3: and now like in this heat, now, like I go
- 34:56Speaker 3: for like seven.
- 34:56Speaker 4: Miles and then you come back. Can you want a
- 35:00Speaker 4: nice cold place?
- 35:02Speaker 3: Yeah, it's seventy four.
- 35:04Speaker 1: But I get it, RAJ.
- 35:06Speaker 2: You've been outside and it's one hundred and ten when
- 35:09Speaker 2: you walk inside, seventy four feels.
- 35:11Speaker 3: Great, fantastic. I love that.
- 35:13Speaker 4: And then like five minutes and then you got to
- 35:15Speaker 4: crank it down to seventy.
- 35:16Speaker 3: No, no, no, I don't. I don't, and you adapt,
- 35:19Speaker 3: like you know, I'm just saying like I've dated girls
- 35:23Speaker 3: that have to have it, like sixty seven, sixty six,
- 35:26Speaker 3: and I just turn it up just a little bit
- 35:28Speaker 3: every now and again, and I'm like, where's that at
- 35:30Speaker 3: now seventy three?
- 35:32Speaker 2: Well, no surprise that Trey likes his women cold.
- 35:42Speaker 4: It keeps it more in a stasis.
- 35:49Speaker 3: Tray cry agena crazy.
- 35:55Speaker 2: With an emphasis on cry. I would also like to
- 36:01Speaker 2: point out that they have this, you know, smart thermostat
- 36:06Speaker 2: program in LA where the power company can control your
- 36:10Speaker 2: thermostat remotely. Isn't LA. Isn't the LA Power Company PG
- 36:17Speaker 2: and E Pacific Gas and Electric.
- 36:24Speaker 3: I didn't. I used lad WP okay department.
- 36:29Speaker 2: I bring that up because I found a YouTube video
- 36:32Speaker 2: where it says PG smart Thermostat program. And I'm sorry,
- 36:38Speaker 2: but if you've seen Aaron Brockovich, is there any way
- 36:42Speaker 2: you're going to grant PG and E access to anything
- 36:44Speaker 2: of yours inside your house?
- 36:48Speaker 3: They turned the thermostat, they turned the temperature up, and
- 36:52Speaker 3: then just start leaking in like toxic fumes as well. Yeah, No,
- 36:56Speaker 3: I mean, I it's it's there's parts of LA that
- 37:00Speaker 3: you don't need air conditioning anyway, So I don't have
- 37:05Speaker 3: a problem like I mean you, what's your temperature setup?
- 37:07Speaker 4: Really you want? You want to control your thermostat.
- 37:10Speaker 3: I'm already at seventy four. What can they do?
- 37:12Speaker 2: They want your thermostat at seventy eight?
- 37:15Speaker 3: Oh, they want seventy eight. I could deal with that.
- 37:19Speaker 4: Yeah, in the middle of summer. That's exactly what they
- 37:21Speaker 4: would do.
- 37:22Speaker 3: Oh, I mean I I don't like I don't trust
- 37:25Speaker 3: Urcott anyway. I don't think they They don't have the
- 37:28Speaker 3: capacity to release a press statement, so I don't know
- 37:31Speaker 3: if they have the capacity to mess with my thermostats.
- 37:34Speaker 4: Hey, they wouldn't have to. They would just jack everyone's
- 37:36Speaker 4: thermostat up and be like, yeah, we're good.
- 37:38Speaker 3: No, that would be did they be a million Texans
- 37:42Speaker 3: standing outside of their head corners daring somebody to come out.
- 37:46Speaker 2: Saying this program is not going to work or roll
- 37:48Speaker 2: out in Texas?
- 37:49Speaker 4: And there would be no standing outside the headquarters. There
- 37:52Speaker 4: would be a siege of the.
- 37:53Speaker 3: Head That's that's what I meant you. I can't really
- 37:57Speaker 3: like I'm brown if I say siege, like the keywords
- 38:00Speaker 3: go off with the FBI. Ye try to limit my
- 38:07Speaker 3: use of words that white people can say.
- 38:13Speaker 2: And finally, today the biggest, the biggest trash heap on Earth,
- 38:20Speaker 2: and he guesses.
- 38:23Speaker 3: The Indian Ocean.
- 38:24Speaker 2: Actually, no, although I get why you would why you
- 38:28Speaker 2: would guess that.
- 38:29Speaker 1: No, it's actually Mount Everest.
- 38:35Speaker 3: Wow. Well that's a rude thing to call white climbers.
- 38:44Speaker 1: Piles of trash leading to the summit.
- 38:47Speaker 2: Uh well, not not just the bodies of dead climbers,
- 38:53Speaker 2: but someone posted their video of them a top Mount Everest,
- 38:58Speaker 2: and in the background, all around the tip of Mount
- 39:01Speaker 2: Everest is all this trash left behind.
- 39:07Speaker 1: It's it's you.
- 39:08Speaker 2: Know, tent tinting, it's flags that are left behind. It's
- 39:12Speaker 2: just a bunch of garbage left behind by the climbers
- 39:16Speaker 2: that made it to the top with their surp.
- 39:18Speaker 4: There's actually a whole documentary about five years ago the
- 39:22Speaker 4: SHIRP has got together and try to clean up some
- 39:27Speaker 4: of Mount Everest. And you know now that pick it up,
- 39:31Speaker 4: the trash, the oxygen canisters, the tinting, kicking the bodies
- 39:34Speaker 4: down into the ravines.
- 39:39Speaker 2: Look at.
- 39:40Speaker 4: I get it.
- 39:42Speaker 2: I also wonder like who sponsors the mountain for the
- 39:44Speaker 2: cleanup like they do highways.
- 39:46Speaker 3: I just like how they went like we're gonna pick
- 39:49Speaker 3: up all this garbage we're gonna pick up all the
- 39:51Speaker 3: oxygen tanks and the tents and then just they're picking
- 39:54Speaker 3: that up and like putting them away and then just
- 39:55Speaker 3: kicking bodies off.
- 39:57Speaker 2: Well, you can reuse the tanks and the tarts, you
- 40:01Speaker 2: can't reuse tim.
- 40:08Speaker 3: That's an excellent point.
- 40:10Speaker 14: Also, I don't know how people outside of outside of
- 40:13Speaker 14: Nepal and the are like, hey, you know what, we
- 40:16Speaker 14: gotta practice and we have to train and sherpas wake
- 40:18Speaker 14: up and like you gotta climb everest to get the trash.
- 40:25Speaker 2: Yeah, when you think about it, like your community service
- 40:27Speaker 2: for a d w Y and Nepal is pretty harsh.
- 40:33Speaker 5: You're listening to the Treehouse.

- 41:21Speaker 2: want to be on that cook list. Eight three to
- 41:23Speaker 2: three cook DFW the website, cookdfw dot com. Gentlemen, it's
- 41:27Speaker 2: time for us to debut our new game, Versus. This
- 41:34Speaker 2: was born out of the previous episode where I asked
- 41:37Speaker 2: you guys about would you rather in a deathmatch you
- 41:46Speaker 2: have to choose your opponent, and I asked you would
- 41:50Speaker 2: you want that opponent to be a meth field, a
- 41:52Speaker 2: tack squirrel, or Gary Busey? And I think you both
- 41:57Speaker 2: went Gary Busey.
- 42:00Speaker 4: I think we both know yeah, because the myth has
- 42:03Speaker 4: a chance of eating the squirrel's teeth. That's never gonna.
- 42:06Speaker 1: Eat teeth, That's right.
- 42:07Speaker 2: Okay, So you both went with the meth field attack squirrel.
- 42:11Speaker 2: So I started ruminating about that since then, and I decided,
- 42:15Speaker 2: you know, that sounds like a fun game we can
- 42:16Speaker 2: play on the show. So would you like to play
- 42:18Speaker 2: version of the official new version of Versus with me?
- 42:21Speaker 4: Now?
- 42:22Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 42:22Speaker 1: Absolutely famous last word.
- 42:27Speaker 3: Nothing pucy.
- 42:29Speaker 2: We shall see, gentlemen, it's time to play Versus. A
- 42:43Speaker 2: hot topic on the show recently has been eighties playground
- 42:46Speaker 2: equipment that we all grew up on playing and building
- 42:50Speaker 2: up scar tissue and character and grit and various viruses
- 42:57Speaker 2: and things. Built up a solid immunity over the years. Right,
- 43:01Speaker 2: So here's my question for you, through all the playground
- 43:05Speaker 2: stuff we've been talking about recently in the treehouse, in
- 43:09Speaker 2: a death match, I need you to choose your opponent.
- 43:13Speaker 1: Kay, Would you rather.
- 43:17Speaker 2: Take on a single ISIS fighter or an entire class
- 43:25Speaker 2: of fourth graders from the eighties. Now, if you're I'm
- 43:30Speaker 2: going to give you a moment to think about this.
- 43:32Speaker 2: If you're wondering why would I choose these seemingly very
- 43:35Speaker 2: different entities, Here's why. Remember back in the early mid
- 43:41Speaker 2: two thousands or so, when like Taliban and ISIS and
- 43:44Speaker 2: they would release their terrorist training videos and all it
- 43:50Speaker 2: really was was guys in black masks on the monkey
- 43:52Speaker 2: bars one after another. Yes, didn't really intimidate any of us,
- 43:57Speaker 2: did it, because we all that stuff y'all did in
- 44:01Speaker 2: like elementary school, and honestly looked cooler doing it. And
- 44:06Speaker 2: they had sand to fall on in their video. We
- 44:09Speaker 2: had actual limestone gravel with glass and things. So that
- 44:13Speaker 2: is why I am putting these two together in our
- 44:17Speaker 2: first edition of Verses. So I'm going to ask you
- 44:21Speaker 2: again the question. In a death match, you must choose
- 44:24Speaker 2: your opponent. Would you rather take on a single ISIS
- 44:27Speaker 2: fighter or an entire class of fourth graders from the eighties,
- 44:34Speaker 2: not current fourth graders, because playgrounds are made out of hugs.
- 44:37Speaker 2: That's not That's it, Trey.
- 44:41Speaker 1: I will start with.
- 44:42Speaker 4: You can the fourth graders ask questions?
- 44:52Speaker 2: Ironically, that's a great question, Trey. I think it's important
- 44:55Speaker 2: that in a death match that the individuals involved get
- 45:00Speaker 2: to use all the tools at their disposal.
- 45:04Speaker 1: So I'm going to say.
- 45:04Speaker 4: Yes, said, I'm gonna go with the ISIS fighter because
- 45:11Speaker 4: you're afraid if I die, at least be peaceful. More
- 45:15Speaker 4: peaceful twenty five fourth graders asking a bunch of questions? Yeah, no, interesting?
- 45:26Speaker 3: Do they ask the questions simultaneously? And do they have
- 45:32Speaker 3: a number of questions that they can ask before they
- 45:35Speaker 3: have to stop?
- 45:36Speaker 1: It's a death match, rag anything's possible, so.
- 45:38Speaker 3: They can all at the same time just start shouting
- 45:42Speaker 3: out questions.
- 45:42Speaker 1: Sure, I'm gonna.
- 45:44Speaker 3: Take the fourth graders because the ISIS guy will kill.
- 45:46Speaker 2: Himself the one time the suicide vest is in your.
- 45:57Speaker 3: Yeah, is miss Wisdom's home room?
- 46:01Speaker 4: Like that?
- 46:02Speaker 3: That's the only building part he took out was just
- 46:05Speaker 3: the teacher's lounge. Yeah, if you can have twenty five
- 46:14Speaker 3: eight year olds simultaneously asking questions with no end and
- 46:19Speaker 3: no response, Like you don't even have to respond to
- 46:21Speaker 3: their questions. They just keep asking questions, some of them
- 46:24Speaker 3: over and over again, the same ones. Yeah, that guy's
- 46:28Speaker 3: gonna that guy's gonna explode himself.
- 46:31Speaker 2: I'm fascinated by the fact that you both so Raj
- 46:34Speaker 2: you chose the fourth graders, you chose the fourth graders,
- 46:37Speaker 2: and Trey you went with the isis fighter.
- 46:40Speaker 3: Because you just have to assume, like he's just gonna
- 46:43Speaker 3: he's just gonna, like the bomb has to go off
- 46:45Speaker 3: and kill everybody. Look in my scenario, he just wants out.
- 46:51Speaker 3: He didn't sign up for this kind of war.
- 46:56Speaker 2: Well, congratulations, gentlemen, Thank you for playing our very first
- 47:00Speaker 2: edition of Versus Inside the Treehouse.
- 47:03Speaker 1: Thank you very much.
- 47:04Speaker 2: Yeah, and now we get to play the other new game.
- 47:17Speaker 2: Will YouTube flag this portion of the show for copyright?
- 47:21Speaker 1: In Friends, you're listening.
- 47:28Speaker 6: To the Treehouse, visit us online at Treehouse on Air
- 47:32Speaker 6: dot com.
- 47:48Speaker 9: You're in the Treehouse, listen us online dot com.
- 47:54Speaker 2: It's important that I share this very, very meaningful story.
- 47:57Speaker 1: With you all. But is realized. I think I'm in
- 48:03Speaker 1: the wrong bank. Hang on, I found him.
- 48:13Speaker 2: Gentlemen's worlds collided a couple of weekends ago.
- 48:18Speaker 1: When hundreds of gay men.
- 48:21Speaker 2: At the Crown Plaza downtown Dallas attending the daddy Land
- 48:28Speaker 2: party crossed paths with the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority National Convention.
- 48:35Speaker 2: One of the two groups got evicted because one didn't
- 48:38Speaker 2: like the attire of the other. Can you guess which
- 48:42Speaker 2: one was wearing the the objectionable attire to get all
- 48:48Speaker 2: of them kicked out of the hotel? Roger believe I
- 48:53Speaker 2: saw your hand up. You have a guess.
- 48:55Speaker 3: I'm gonna go with the uh, the the the Sorority.
- 49:03Speaker 3: Oh okay. I thought it to be a good like
- 49:06Speaker 3: twist to the story.
- 49:08Speaker 4: I knew, I knew where.
- 49:09Speaker 3: I wanted to go. I wanted to go with the
- 49:11Speaker 3: daddy Land attendees.
- 49:14Speaker 4: The gay guys have the best conventions. I mean they
- 49:17Speaker 4: have the Texas Bear round Up and now daddy Land.
- 49:21Speaker 3: I mean, yeah, yeah, daddy Land. That's that's great, that's right.
- 49:29Speaker 3: I'm good for them.
- 49:32Speaker 2: Hundreds of gay men attending the daddy Land Circuit party
- 49:36Speaker 2: in Dallas were evicted from the Crown Plaza Downtown, the
- 49:39Speaker 2: host hotel of which they were staying, leading to mass
- 49:42Speaker 2: confusion and accusations of homophobia. The eviction was prompted by
- 49:45Speaker 2: complaints by Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority members who were also
- 49:49Speaker 2: in town for their biennial national convention. The hotel owners
- 49:54Speaker 2: said the women complained about the attire of some of
- 49:57Speaker 2: the Daddy Land attendees. Security officers and hotel management delivered
- 50:02Speaker 2: the eviction notice around four o'clock on that Saturday. Occupants
- 50:06Speaker 2: of eighty eight rooms were asked to leave, and that
- 50:12Speaker 2: was according to the hotel. According to the hotel owner
- 50:15Speaker 2: through a Daddy Land representative, imagine having that on your
- 50:17Speaker 2: business card, They said the number was closer to three
- 50:21Speaker 2: hundred individuals. The notice was blunting, to the point the
- 50:25Speaker 2: owner of the hotel is requesting you leave immediately. You
- 50:27Speaker 2: will get a refund. Police move out by six pm.
- 50:30Speaker 2: All parties and events are canceled Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
- 50:35Speaker 3: Wow, that's a lot of daddy happening. What were they wearing?
- 50:41Speaker 3: Do we know?
- 50:43Speaker 4: Probably?
- 50:44Speaker 3: Yeah, we need to know.
- 50:46Speaker 4: What weren't they wearing?
- 50:49Speaker 2: I believe one answer. I believe one possible answer is
- 50:51Speaker 2: each other.
- 50:55Speaker 4: I don't think a lot of them were walking around
- 50:56Speaker 4: like Ted Night.
- 51:00Speaker 2: Sack unless they were unless they were doing a cross
- 51:06Speaker 2: cosplay between Ted Knight and Caddyshack and Donald Duck.
- 51:11Speaker 1: And running around screaming all aboard.
- 51:15Speaker 2: So I'd like to take this opportunity of two very
- 51:17Speaker 2: different groups of people, sorority girls and daddy Land partygoers,
- 51:23Speaker 2: and do an impromptu version of our new game inside
- 51:26Speaker 2: the Treehouse called Versus.
- 51:28Speaker 8: Are you ready?
- 51:28Speaker 4: Yep?
- 51:40Speaker 2: Had things escalated at the Crown Plaza downtown Dallas between
- 51:44Speaker 2: the gay men attending the daddy Land party and the
- 51:47Speaker 2: Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority members at their national convention. Had
- 51:53Speaker 2: things escalated and they got into a physical deathmatch altercation
- 51:59Speaker 2: in the lobby of the hotel. Better Yet, if it
- 52:01Speaker 2: spills out into the pool, which group do you think
- 52:06Speaker 2: comes out on top part of the punch?
- 52:07Speaker 3: Oh that's easy.
- 52:08Speaker 2: Oh yeah, really, that's an easy one.
- 52:11Speaker 4: Yeah. The sty aka the Sisters are gonna go.
- 52:17Speaker 3: Yeah, They're they're gonna they're they're gonna have much better nails,
- 52:20Speaker 3: much stronger nails than the other than the daddy Land goers.
- 52:24Speaker 3: They're gonna. Yeah, there's gonna be a lot of there's
- 52:26Speaker 3: gonna be a lot of wigs come off and guys
- 52:28Speaker 3: get choked. Uh, which could be on both parties.
- 52:32Speaker 2: But so you're saying that it's that it's mainly because
- 52:35Speaker 2: of which sorority it is, not, not just any So
- 52:39Speaker 2: I gues this was the.
- 52:41Speaker 4: If it was the Tried Delt, no, I'll put my
- 52:44Speaker 4: money on the guys. But yeah, the black sorority.
- 52:48Speaker 3: No, Like, if this was a try Delt, they'd be
- 52:52Speaker 3: too scared to complain to get them thrown out.
- 52:55Speaker 4: Actually, they'd probably be wearing a lot of the same
- 52:57Speaker 4: things en sharing the same coke. But anyway, I'll look
- 53:01Speaker 4: it for a daddy.
- 53:10Speaker 2: Well, see, maybe that there would be the conflict that
- 53:13Speaker 2: would get them pitted against one another. There's only so
- 53:16Speaker 2: many daddies to go around in that hotel.
- 53:20Speaker 3: That is true, But they might have They might have
- 53:22Speaker 3: just combined forces and turned into one giant group effort.
- 53:28Speaker 2: The New Avengers movie is really gonna be interesting.
- 53:31Speaker 8: Uh.
- 53:33Speaker 2: Okay, let's do a quick hypothetical on top of this hypothetical.
- 53:37Speaker 2: If you Trey or you Raj were the daddy that
- 53:41Speaker 2: walked into the Crown Plaza downtown Dallas, right, mm hmm,
- 53:46Speaker 2: which group would you rather face off against in the
- 53:48Speaker 2: death match? Would you yourself rather take on the hundreds
- 53:52Speaker 2: of scantily clad gay men at the daddy Land party
- 53:57Speaker 2: or the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority syste.
- 54:03Speaker 3: I don't understand the question, like take on how.
- 54:09Speaker 1: A fight?
- 54:10Speaker 2: It's a death match. That's what versus is. It's a
- 54:12Speaker 2: death match. I'm now, I'm not asking you to to
- 54:14Speaker 2: be the center of a gang bang.
- 54:17Speaker 3: Yeah, because one will be that, one will bang get
- 54:20Speaker 3: a death and one I don't know. I think I
- 54:27Speaker 3: would kill myselfby you take the third option to just
- 54:33Speaker 3: is running away crying an option?
- 54:35Speaker 8: Is that?
- 54:37Speaker 2: I think I think that was going to happen anyway.
- 54:39Speaker 3: This daddy would want his mommy, Trey.
- 54:44Speaker 2: Are you going to pretty much sign off on the
- 54:45Speaker 2: same answer.
- 54:46Speaker 1: There probably a good choice.
- 55:05Speaker 8: By the by bas.
- 55:13Speaker 3: By bad
- 55:20Speaker 8: Ba
