- 0:19Hello and welcome to yet another Diz Pod on this February 24th
- 0:25already 2026 record snow falls. Lawrence.
- 0:31Listen, ever since I was knee high to a grasshopper, it's
- 0:36always been the talk of the legendary Blizzard of 76.
- 0:42Tammy and I have both talked about this this past few days,
- 0:47these past few days, because it's very relevant because we're
- 0:49we're from in Massachusetts, 38 inches.
- 0:54I think it was in our hometown. So that is a record.
- 1:01So now they'll be talking about the Blizzard of 26.
- 1:04And. Not the Blizzard of 76.
- 1:08Do you recall any of that? Did the Blizzard of 76 affect
- 1:12you where you lived? You didn't live that far from
- 1:15me. Sir, I wouldn't have been born.
- 1:20I missed it. I will be 50 this October so I I
- 1:28would have missed that. However, I.
- 1:29Didn't I? I didn't calculate that.
- 1:32But listen, I only made it by 4 years.
- 1:33I was 4, right? And Tammy and I remember like we
- 1:36had to be dugout, like we couldn't walk outside.
- 1:39It was over our heads. It was up halfway to the doors
- 1:43and all that good stuff. Yeah, in.
- 1:45So in 2003, I was getting ready to move to Maryland, Baltimore,
- 1:49and we went for a weekend to look at apartments and stuff
- 1:54like that. And the snow was supposed to
- 1:57start Sunday afternoon. And I was like, well, do we
- 2:00leave and go back home to New York or do we stick it out?
- 2:04And I was like, well, we've got time off from work, let's just
- 2:07stick it out. So it started.
- 2:12It's supposed to start Sunday about 2:00.
- 2:14By the time I got up to go to the grocery store at 11, there
- 2:18was already about 8 inches of snow on the ground.
- 2:21Ended up snowing 48 inches in 2 days.
- 2:27Yeah, so, but, and then when we did go home to New York, it had
- 2:33snowed there, too, another 18 inches of snow or, or or so.
- 2:38So then when I got home, I then had I lived in a basement
- 2:42apartment and of course the shovel is inside the house.
- 2:46So I had to like slide down the stairs to go into the house to
- 2:50get the shovel and then shovel my way out of the of the
- 2:54basement. So yeah, crazy, some crazy
- 2:58stories. I saw my mom and dad sent me
- 3:04pictures from up there. My sister and my brother who are
- 3:09on long on Long Island sent me pictures of what they were
- 3:12dealing with. Just some crazy stuff.
- 3:14How about your mom and and brother?
- 3:19They were hunkered down. I think he finally shoveled out
- 3:22a little bit and left the house this afternoon.
- 3:25But of course, my mom won't go anywhere.
- 3:27She lives in a more of a, you know, an elderly community where
- 3:34not many people, nobody's really touched their cars and all that
- 3:38they were dealing with not only a ton of snow being dumped, but
- 3:4160 mile an hour gusts of. Yes, yeah, crazy.
- 3:45And it just looked unbearable over there.
- 3:49Yeah, absolutely nuts. But you know, it's it's one for
- 3:53the record books and hopefully this is the last snowfall.
- 3:56I say that, but I did look at their weather and I think
- 3:58they're supposed to get another couple days of little bit of
- 4:02snow, some sleet or something like that.
- 4:04So. Oh, yeah.
- 4:06You know, you, you got to top it off, you know, you got to get a
- 4:09little ice, ice coating on top of all of that.
- 4:11That's right. That was the way of the world
- 4:13where where where we lived previously to this, the way of
- 4:16the world where the snow would turn to ice.
- 4:19Yeah, so. I mean, I, I lived in Hoff.
- 4:22I lived in Hoff before I moved here.
- 4:25You know, trenches. Tammy walked, you know, through
- 4:27trenches to get to the car and stuff like that.
- 4:30I mean, there was one time we, the snow had gotten so high.
- 4:33My snow thrower almost couldn't go over any higher.
- 4:37The arch of throwing the snow. I mean it was probably 5 feet
- 4:42high on a 50 foot driveway, you know, so.
- 4:46Yeah, Catherine's parents came to visit for the weekend for
- 4:50Finley's birthday party. They were supposed to fly home
- 4:53Sunday, so their flights have been cancelled.
- 4:58I think they might be flights on Thursday, if I remember
- 5:04correctly. So of course Catherine and
- 5:07Findlay are totally happy because they get to see family
- 5:10they haven't seen in, you know, a long time and only when they
- 5:13come to visit it's only a couple days and now they have almost a
- 5:15week, so very cool. Yes, Yeah.
- 5:18Well, they, the world is crazy stuff going on all over the
- 5:21place, crazy weather. You can't vacation in Mexico
- 5:25right now where we honeymooned and then did a did a did a
- 5:29repeat after that. God, I don't know if I'll go to
- 5:32Mexico again. It's just so unsettled over
- 5:34there. But hopefully everybody will
- 5:35will come out of that. OK, You settle things down there
- 5:39and just all kind of stuff. But the, you know, I know this
- 5:43is a Disney podcast. We'll I'll touch on this too.
- 5:45Just Speaking of a positive thing in the world as well is I
- 5:49don't know if anybody's watching or listening from Canada, but
- 5:52you, you can't beat us in hockey.
- 5:54At least you know for another four years.
- 5:56For four years. Women bring the women bring the
- 5:58men, bring the cats, bring the dog team, whatever.
- 6:01You can't beat us. Yeah, that was, that was pretty,
- 6:04pretty exciting. Yeah, it's, it's it's nice.
- 6:06I didn't see much of the Olympics, but did certainly.
- 6:09You want, you want to know what I saw the most of and I
- 6:12consciously wanted to do it was curling.
- 6:15I got I got the family into curling.
- 6:17Curling is so much fun. Curling is my favorite Winter
- 6:20Olympics sport. I wanted more.
- 6:23I love the strategy, the thinking, the competition.
- 6:28I did some homework. You can go do a curling class
- 6:31One O 1 in Orlando. There's a club. 30 in Orlando.
- 6:34There you go. You would not have thought that.
- 6:38No. And then you can, then you can
- 6:40pay for the second class where I guess they get more into the
- 6:44actual getting down and and really applying strategies.
- 6:48So kind of fun, kind of fun. We were, we came home from the
- 6:51live stream on Saturday night and we watched the women, the
- 6:57women's curling and we're really pulling for them.
- 6:59It's like 2:30 in the morning before we got finished with it,
- 7:02but they came up a little short to Canada on that one.
- 7:06But it was fun to watch. Very cool.
- 7:09So you know we're here for Disney though, no matter what's
- 7:12happening in anywhere in the world.
- 7:15Yep. And Disney always sets things
- 7:17right and good and positive. I did touch on a little bit of
- 7:21news yesterday that was announced.
- 7:23I feel like it was announced late, but I'm sure it was
- 7:25earlier in the day. But we have another new Disney
- 7:29ship, the Adventure. The Adventure.
- 7:33Yeah, the largest Disney ship. So is massive.
- 7:36I mean, I, I thought going on the dream was massive.
- 7:41This thing is just it's enormous.
- 7:46I believe it set the record for largest cruise ship to pass
- 7:49through the Panama Canal and and with with good reason.
- 7:54That thing is massive. It was actually A and a a ship
- 8:03that belonged to another company.
- 8:05That company went bankrupt and so Disney finished the project.
- 8:09So if you ever get the chance to go on it, you'll notice it
- 8:12doesn't look like the rest of the Disney ships for the most
- 8:15part, but there is, you know, they've kind of retrofitted it.
- 8:19I wonder how it will compare to some of the royal ships that
- 8:23have become the biggest ones. Yeah, out there, because the
- 8:27first Disney ship I ever saw in person was when we did our Royal
- 8:30cruise couple summers ago, and that ship looked really small
- 8:35compared to the Royal ship. I was like, wow, Disney cruise
- 8:38ships are small. So good to see that they're
- 8:41going bigger because bigger. Bigger might not always be
- 8:44better, but some people like the smaller ships because it means
- 8:47less people. But to me it just means more
- 8:50condensed. Less people, Less people, but
- 8:52more condensed, which equals a big ship with more people.
- 8:56And so funny enough, you bring up cruising because we are going
- 9:00to talk to Sierra from Cruise and Theme Park guide.
- 9:03If you don't know her, check her out.
- 9:05She's on YouTube. She's part of the Disney
- 9:07Streamer network. She live streams from primarily
- 9:11Disney World, but she did do her first trip to Disneyland
- 9:15recently. In fact, she had last month
- 9:18where she went to all 6 Disney parks within a very short amount
- 9:24of time. So we are going to to chat with
- 9:28her about her her trip to Disneyland and after she went to
- 9:32Disneyland, she went on a cruise.
- 9:33So we'll talk about that as well.
- 9:36Doing it, Disney. Well, let's go.
- 9:38That's the night. That was a nice segue.
- 9:39All right, well, without a further ado, here is Sierra from
- 9:43Cruise and Theme Park Guide. Hello.
- 9:48And welcome Sierra. Welcome, thanks for having me.
- 9:52Thank you. Thanks for joining us.
- 9:56So it just in case some of our viewers do not know you and by
- 9:59the way, we are on horizontal today and vertical.
- 10:02So if you and on livingness and Park Rose.
- 10:06So if you're watching on either of those platforms, welcome.
- 10:10Stay right where you're at. If you're comfortable there,
- 10:12stay there. If you want to go to horizontal,
- 10:14absolutely go to horizontal. So we may have some new viewers
- 10:18in tonight and of course we are also then broadcasting this on
- 10:22to Spotify, iHeartRadio, Amazon, excuse me, and iTunes.
- 10:28So you may have some people that don't know your channel.
- 10:31For those that don't tell us a little bit about your channel.
- 10:34What what's it about? When did you get started?
- 10:38So I started this channel in 2023.
- 10:40I kind of always wanted to move to Florida and start a YouTube
- 10:43channel. It's kind of my, you know, want
- 10:47to come down here at theme parks, oceans, cruise ships, all
- 10:50that stuff. And I started making videos in
- 10:55SeaWorld Orlando. And then I took a cruise like
- 10:59right after I made my first video.
- 11:02So I made a theme park video and I made a cruise video and I'm
- 11:06like, I don't really know what I want to make my channel about.
- 11:11So I'm going to do both. You know, it's kind of a
- 11:14vacation travel kind of thing, but with the parks being so
- 11:18close, it's just so convenient to go in there.
- 11:21And then I was a third party cast member at Disney Springs
- 11:26for about a year. When we moved down here.
- 11:30I worked at the Starbucks, the huge Starbucks over at Disney
- 11:33Springs and it really connected me to the Disney community and
- 11:37everybody, I mean between cast members and and I just noticed
- 11:41everybody came in really happy and it was just really fun.
- 11:46And then, you know, I was pursuing grad school at the
- 11:52time. I just finished my undergrads
- 11:54third grad school and I realized that I didn't have time to edit.
- 12:00So I started doing a little bit more live streaming because he
- 12:03has time to edit, and that's kind of what brought me here.
- 12:09And I know I always love technology.
- 12:14So yeah, cruising is fun. Love going into the parks,
- 12:20seeing both of you in the parks. It's always a good time.
- 12:24It doesn't really matter which theme park.
- 12:27I worked through high school at Six Flags Over Georgia, that's
- 12:32my Home Park. I love that park.
- 12:36It's one of the better Six Flags parks.
- 12:39But that kind of started the theme park life for me.
- 12:44And of course, Disney trips as a child, you know, you know, you
- 12:47want to come back and see more magic as an adult.
- 12:51And was was that job at Six Flags just to like, I just need
- 12:56a job and I know that they're hiring and I'm young, so I'll go
- 12:59work there. Or do you really want to work at
- 13:02a theme park at that point? I had there, they called them
- 13:08season passes because there was an open 12 months a year.
- 13:12I had a season pass like growing up all the way from like
- 13:17probably like 10 years old. And there was this laser tag
- 13:21game inside of Six Flags, and I became really good at playing
- 13:28that game. And I went to Six Flags so much
- 13:33that I was like, yeah, I just want to work here.
- 13:35It was just a part of like working there because I'm
- 13:39already there. I might as well make money in
- 13:41the theme park because I go there so much.
- 13:45So it wasn't, it was like I have to have a job, so I might as
- 13:48well go do something that I enjoy doing and somewhere we're
- 13:52on a beat and spend a lot of time.
- 13:54I like that. I like that.
- 13:56I mean, somebody offered me a job at Disney.
- 13:58I I would I would definitely think about it.
- 14:01You know, not that I don't enjoy what I do for work now, but I
- 14:06mean getting to be in the place that you love.
- 14:08That's that's pretty amazing. That's pretty cool.
- 14:12And so how much now Six Flags obviously is different park
- 14:17than, you know, the Disney parks.
- 14:20You know, it's more amusement than theme per SE.
- 14:24So how much of A theme park enthusiast are you?
- 14:31I mean, none of us will compare to like theme park giant and
- 14:33there's 580 roller coasters. But like, where do you fit in
- 14:37with with your love of of theme parks and rides?
- 14:41I mean, I've been going to theme parks since I was like two or
- 14:43three years old. My family brought me to theme
- 14:46parks. I visited Disney as a child and
- 14:49Six Flags Over Georgia actually opened four years before Magic
- 14:52Kingdom did, and they had some similarities.
- 14:56They have a big train going around and a few dark rides and
- 15:00some pretty decent themes. I think they lost Six Flags,
- 15:04lost their way over time. Of course they, we know the
- 15:08story of them, but I'm not somebody who's traveled around
- 15:14the world and ridden tons and tons of roller coasters.
- 15:19But I've worked at multiple theme parks and I'm pretty,
- 15:23pretty 1st and what a theme park supposed to be.
- 15:29I would like to consider myself an expert, not necessarily like
- 15:32an expert to one or the other, but I definitely know behind the
- 15:38the scenes operations and and I know the things that I like to
- 15:43do. And you know what, what matters
- 15:45and what stands out. Yeah.
- 15:48Is there something that you learned at Six Flags that they
- 15:55do better than Disney? Well, it's been quite a few
- 16:01years since I worked there. It's a question, right?
- 16:12It's it's it's a good question. Yeah, I would, you know, off the
- 16:15cuff you'd say, no, it's Disney. But you know, I just wondered if
- 16:19maybe there was something that maybe, hey, I really like the
- 16:22way they handled this over maybe what something Disney might do.
- 16:26Back when I worked there, I didn't work in rides.
- 16:29I worked more in the games aspect.
- 16:34But I've seen I've as friends of some people and I've seen those
- 16:38ride turnarounds be 30 seconds to 3 minutes and they were
- 16:42trying to eat people as like as as much as they could, trying to
- 16:46get people turned over and turned out.
- 16:49And that was kind of how you kept the crowds happy in the
- 16:52parks is those quick ride turnarounds because you don't
- 16:56want those four and five hour wait times.
- 16:58But I don't really see that anymore like I used to.
- 17:01Maybe it's not just Disney, but you know, I've seen some huge
- 17:07coasters where, you know, you've got some A-Team member on each
- 17:12side checking harnesses. You got one guy at the controls
- 17:18and you know, they, they turn those, they turn those trains
- 17:21over really quick. Yeah, kind of like Guardians,
- 17:25right, Because Guardians you have, you know, 22 cast members,
- 17:29one on each side checking and coming down.
- 17:33And I think that does help the right.
- 17:35And plus, you know, Guardians has dual loading zone.
- 17:38So yeah, I think had this been, had Guardians been made, you
- 17:43know, 15 years ago, I don't know that we would have had that, you
- 17:46know, and then they have the odds and even loading as well.
- 17:48So they are they are doing a lot of of things officially.
- 17:53But I know Corey always mentions how security at Universal is
- 18:00very different, you know, than it is at Disney.
- 18:04You know, so there, you know, there are some things I hear
- 18:09that they're testing some stuff at Disneyland.
- 18:11So maybe maybe we've got something new coming soon.
- 18:16So, so Speaking of Disneyland, you went to Disneyland for the
- 18:21first time and what made you decide to go this this year and
- 18:28finally take that plunge? And I ask that because neither
- 18:31Corey nor I have been to Disneyland and we keep hinting
- 18:35it may be going soon, but just haven't haven't bit the bullet
- 18:39yet. So the the trip from Disneyland
- 18:43kind of sparked as I've been wanting to go there for a few
- 18:45years. Actually, I've been wanting to
- 18:47go there for a long time, but I've been really serious about
- 18:50it for a couple years. And we had booked a cruise on to
- 18:54the West Coast for January. For those that do not know, the
- 18:58Gray whales, they migrate down to the California Gulf of
- 19:03California and the Baja Peninsula in Mexico.
- 19:06And that's where they breed in the winter.
- 19:10And it's a beautiful sight. I mean, you could see the whales
- 19:13right off the cruise ship. You don't even have to take like
- 19:16an expedition or an excursion. But that was a trip.
- 19:21And I was like, there's no way I'm going to go to Southern
- 19:23California and not go to Disneyland.
- 19:28I was like that just. Wouldn't have felt right.
- 19:34So I mean Disneyland trip it was.
- 19:41And how did it, how did it feel? It's Corey and I have talked
- 19:45about about this because we talked about if we went this
- 19:47year and we went together, we would live stream and would we
- 19:51live stream? Would we go to the parks 1st and
- 19:53then live stream? And I'm like, yeah, but if we go
- 19:57and we live stream the first day, we'll capture our emotion
- 20:01of first walking into the park. So for you, how did it feel?
- 20:05You know, going as much of A historian about Disney as you
- 20:10are, what did it feel like entering through the gates and
- 20:14under the train station and seeing Main Street and and the
- 20:17castle for the first time? It was absolutely phenomenal.
- 20:21And people told me, Disney World, people told me I would be
- 20:25underwhelmed because of the castle thing.
- 20:28And really it, it's, it was the opposite.
- 20:31I was overwhelmed like it's everything was like so much
- 20:36detail. I mean, it's smaller, but it's,
- 20:39it's kind of engineered that way.
- 20:42It's supposed to be smaller and everything, every, everything
- 20:48was just in it, in the right place, the right size.
- 20:53I came into Main Street and the first thing I saw was Pluto
- 20:56right there at the flagpole meeting people.
- 21:00And yeah, I stopped and I said the words of Walt.
- 21:02I said to all those who come to this happy place, welcome.
- 21:07Yeah, it is everybody. Wants to go and say the words
- 21:10that Walt did in the place he did.
- 21:12It was right on my magic band. Well said, Well said.
- 21:17I love that. I, I, I, you know, I told Corey
- 21:20that, you know, I could just imagine myself walking in and
- 21:25seeing Walt's apartment, the Firehouse, you know, yes, the
- 21:29castle's, you know, smaller. But Walt never walked in Disney
- 21:35World, but he walked in Disneyland.
- 21:38His, his, his, his DNA is all over that park.
- 21:43You know he hit the the if you watch the Disney, did you watch
- 21:48that Disneyland handcrafted special a document?
- 21:54I had not finished it, but I've I've been I've I've watched the
- 21:57very beginning. It's just something to see how
- 22:01they put that park together and you know these two days that
- 22:06there there were no blueprints, right?
- 22:08They would just really kind of winging it and the, for example,
- 22:15the bricks on some of those buildings on Main Street are not
- 22:17brick. Like they're really just, you
- 22:20know, cement or, or some sort of fiber and they're etching the
- 22:25brick lines into it to make it look like brick.
- 22:28And you just see like, I would think because, you know, I'm in
- 22:32new homes construction, I would think just putting the brick
- 22:36would have been easier. But they didn't go that route
- 22:38because they knew that they would, you know, you would have
- 22:40the different coloring and stuff like that with the brick and the
- 22:43mortar. So I for me, I think that they
- 22:47went above and beyond with that park.
- 22:50And while Roy did a good job in Disney World, I think that, you
- 22:55know, that's Waltz Park. So and you got to ride some of
- 23:00the rides that you didn't, that we don't get to ride here or
- 23:03that we don't have any more here.
- 23:05So tell us about the first ride that you went and did in
- 23:09Disneyland. So glad you talked about this
- 23:11'cause you know, it was it. It was a choice, a predetermined
- 23:15choice that probably have been sparked for a couple years.
- 23:18But I went straight to Mr. Toad's Wild Ride.
- 23:21I was like, I used to ride this as a kid, and it was my favorite
- 23:24ride at Magic Kingdom. Yeah.
- 23:27And I went straight to Mr. Toad's and I wrote it and it
- 23:32was, you know, from what I remember of Magic Kingdoms, it
- 23:38was a little bigger and there was two different like, like
- 23:42lanes for two different, like they could load two different
- 23:46cars at once. But still, still still the best
- 23:52ride, still an amazing ride. And it did it.
- 23:56I'm sure it was enough to bring. Even though it wasn't the the
- 23:59same exact ride that you had rode as a kid, I'm sure it still
- 24:03had enough nostalgia to bring back that that that feeling of
- 24:08being a kid. So much nostalgia.
- 24:11I love that ride. What other rides did you do over
- 24:15there that you're like, oh, I wish we had that well.
- 24:19I, I kind of was on a mission. I went and did Mr. Toads and
- 24:25then I went over and rode to Mark Twain because the Liberty
- 24:28Bell is, is was my heart and soul.
- 24:31I love that boat. So my number 2 was the Mark
- 24:35Twain and it was great. The Mark Twain is now my
- 24:40favorite boat now that the Liberty Bell's out of
- 24:42Commission. But.
- 24:43And then Haunted Mansion wasn't open, wasn't gonna open for two
- 24:49more days at that point. So I did pirates.
- 24:52I did pirates like 3 times because it was so good.
- 24:56Just kept riding Pirates because their ride capacity is kind of
- 25:00really good. Kind of like Magic Kingdom
- 25:02Pirates. You can get on and off of it
- 25:05pretty much anytime when it's really busy.
- 25:08And yeah, the Pirates is certainly on the top of my list
- 25:14of the rides in that park. And you know, I did you find
- 25:23yourself doing a lot of comparison when you're there.
- 25:28Like I worry that those of us that are in Disney World a lot
- 25:31and focus on Disney World, if we go to Disneyland, like we're
- 25:34always going to focus on, well, that's better over here or
- 25:36that's better over there. You know, did you find yourself
- 25:39doing a lot of that or were you able to just take in the two
- 25:42parks? I think I did a lot of that and
- 25:46I think I'm doing a lot of it now, even in the parks here.
- 25:50But I'm actually noticing here, I'm trying to have an open mind
- 25:56because obviously Disney World is bigger and much less detailed
- 26:01and it was built by someone else in charge.
- 26:04But if you really look, Disney World has a lot of detail too.
- 26:09It's just less noticeable because everything's bigger and
- 26:12more spread out. OK, alright.
- 26:16But yeah, I, I certainly was there.
- 26:20I mean, it's really not good to compare each of the Disney
- 26:25parks, but you will. It's just human nature, right?
- 26:30But it's kind of awesome that you get to ride these rides out
- 26:33here, and then you get to go to Disneyland and you get to ride a
- 26:36different version and you get to feel that same feeling you did
- 26:39when you were the other ride the first time.
- 26:42Yeah, yeah, that's true. That's true.
- 26:44It's like riding the the the ride again for the first time.
- 26:48Yeah, I bet I would feel that way on Pirates and Space
- 26:52Mountain Tiana's, because even though Tiana's is the same, it's
- 26:56different because they're single, single file there.
- 27:02And is there space there? Space is double rider, isn't it?
- 27:08Space mountain is double rider and they do have a single rider
- 27:11line. OK, I do like our space mountain
- 27:15better just because I fit in the vehicle much better.
- 27:19Are they? Oh, so they're a little bit
- 27:21different. A little tight there.
- 27:23Yeah, well, there's. Ours is ours is no picnic to get
- 27:28out of like you can. Nobody gets out of a Space
- 27:31Mountain vehicle gracefully. Yes, Space Mountain Florida is
- 27:36kind of like Matterhorn as far as the vehicle.
- 27:40OK, it's it's a little hard to get up and out of and it's a
- 27:44little jerky, but still a Space Mountain or the Matterhorn.
- 27:50Got it, got it. And So what about park hopping
- 27:56there? Because there you can, you know,
- 27:59it's kind of like at Universal Studios here where you just kind
- 28:02of walk out of one and into the other.
- 28:04How? How did that feel?
- 28:07I think I wasted my money park hopping, honestly, because I got
- 28:10three day park hopper and I went over one day because I was just
- 28:16so loving Disneyland. Yeah, I was loving Disneyland so
- 28:20much that I didn't go over there that much.
- 28:22But I did go to DCA and I rode Mission Breakout.
- 28:26Course. I want to know it.
- 28:30I wanted to kind of have my own answer of the Mission Breakout
- 28:33Tower of Terror conversation. Yeah.
- 28:36And honestly, I'm team Mission Breakout because I if you Tower
- 28:41of Terror here and Mission Breakout have two different ride
- 28:44systems. The Tower of Terror here has two
- 28:48elevators there. There's only one.
- 28:51So it kind of makes sense the way the ride set up for it to be
- 28:55a mission Breakout kind of deal. It's it's a good ride.
- 28:58It was, it was fun. And then I rode cars racers.
- 29:04Oh, yeah. I didn't realize that that ride
- 29:06system was kind of like test track.
- 29:09Yeah, yeah. Very similar ride system.
- 29:13That's why I'm excited for our cars because it's going to be
- 29:16different. So you know, even though we're
- 29:20getting the cars ride, it's also supposed to be more off road.
- 29:26And so. So you've been on at least two
- 29:29versions of Test Track. Did you ride the the original
- 29:31version of Test Track? I never rode the original test
- 29:36track one point O and I did ride 2 point O and I ride 3 point O
- 29:40quite a bit, yeah. And what?
- 29:43So what do you think of the cars ride there compared to test
- 29:47track? I'm I'm team cars that that ride
- 29:51was amazing. The, the cars were a little less
- 29:54jerky, OK, and then the cars race at the very end.
- 29:59So it's super cool. Like sometimes you're in the
- 30:01winning car. I was in the winning car.
- 30:03Yeah, I do like that aspect. Is it random?
- 30:06So it's random. You don't know who's going to
- 30:08win. I'm not sure.
- 30:10I just know my car won. I you know, I but yeah, we were
- 30:16walking around and you could see tow Mater and yeah, like Queen
- 30:21driving around cars land. It was super.
- 30:23Cool, yeah, I, I, you know, there's, there's people that
- 30:28say, you know, why isn't, why don't we have this over here and
- 30:33they're so lucky, that kind of thing.
- 30:35But did you feel like it was good that they're somewhat of a
- 30:42different park over there? Absolutely, because you know,
- 30:47the, the true fans, the locals here are going to spend money to
- 30:51go to that park and you know, in the, in the West Coast, the
- 30:58people I met and know, they come here for Epcot.
- 31:04So of the, so you think of the of the parks that we have here,
- 31:09it's Epcot that draws them, the folks that are on the West
- 31:12Coast. 100% it's it's Epcot because they've got just about
- 31:17everything else. They don't have Epcot.
- 31:19You know, DCA at the very beginning of the park.
- 31:24Connor gives off Hollywood Studios vibes because it it is
- 31:28kind of California themed, kind of like Hollywood Studios.
- 31:34They don't, they don't have Epcot and I don't think they
- 31:37have anything super close. Yeah.
- 31:40I mean, they do have their food festivals there, but that's
- 31:42that's it. Yeah, so they so.
- 31:46Epcot is definitely one-of-a-kind.
- 31:47Epcot is one-of-a-kind of the world, right?
- 31:49I don't even know if there's anything that even comes close
- 31:51that we're just unaware of in some other country.
- 31:54You know, I just, I feel like it's one-of-a-kind.
- 31:57Walt Disney said that Epcot was going to be the center of
- 32:00everything happening in Florida, and to me, that kind of makes
- 32:04Spaceship Earth the centerpiece of Walt Disney World.
- 32:08Not, not, not Cinderella Castle. Breaking news hot take.
- 32:14Strong opinions. Here, I like that I like that.
- 32:18Well, listen, Epcot is my favorite park, so I, I can, I
- 32:22can go along with that. And I, you know, I, I've watched
- 32:25a lot of the, the history of Epcot and what it was really
- 32:29supposed to be even before what Walt announced with, you know,
- 32:37where the people were going to live there, but they weren't
- 32:39going to own there. They were really just leasing
- 32:41it. And if he felt it was time to
- 32:46upgrade their appliances, he was going to upgrade their
- 32:51appliances and they really wouldn't have had any say on it.
- 32:55And apparently there was a point where people, it was going to be
- 32:59kind of like Carousel of Progress or Horizons where
- 33:03people come through and see your house in your apartment and
- 33:07stuff like that. So I don't think that would have
- 33:10really flown over pretty well with, with folks.
- 33:15And I think that's why, why it didn't happen.
- 33:16But I'm still very happy with what we got of, of Epcot.
- 33:22What, where, where are you with the four parks?
- 33:25How, how do you rank them? How How do the four parks rank
- 33:29for you? What You're talking about Walt
- 33:32Disney World? Disney World, Yeah.
- 33:34Yeah, I mean, Epcot's certainly number one, and this may be a
- 33:38controversial #2 but Animal Kingdom is my #2 Magic is number
- 33:443. And then Hollywood Studios is #4
- 33:48and, and it kind of entwines in my own story, though, because
- 33:52when I did the cast member thing, Walt Disney World, it was
- 34:01the pandemic. And sometimes things got slow
- 34:03and, you know, we got sent home because labor cost.
- 34:09And that's what I did. We're blocked out of Magic
- 34:12Kingdom. We're blocked out of Studios.
- 34:14So I spent a lot of time at Epcot and I spent a lot of time
- 34:17at Animal Kingdom. I was so blessed to have been
- 34:20able to spend so much time at Animal Kingdom.
- 34:24And that park has just as much detail as the West Coast parks.
- 34:32Yeah, Joe, Joe, Joe Roddy's all over that park.
- 34:35We saw, I saw a report that he was in Animal Kingdom today, so
- 34:42supposedly training some of the Imagineers that are doing
- 34:45Tropical America. So I think, I think his
- 34:50fingerprints are going to be on Tropical America's as well.
- 34:54Because I'm sorry if Joe Roddy says something, I think you're
- 34:57going to listen. Yeah, Disney needs to keep him
- 35:01on as a retainer. I don't care what it costs.
- 35:04You know, they're paying him a pretty penny to to show up and
- 35:07give his opinion, I'm sure. Yeah, So what's your favorite
- 35:11part of of Animal Kingdom, 'cause you're right, I think
- 35:14that is a little controversial #2 most people would have it at
- 35:184. It's a four for me, but it's not
- 35:22a distant fourth, you know, it's just, hey, you got to,
- 35:26somebody's got to be 4th, right? So what?
- 35:29So, so tell us a little a little bit about your love for animal
- 35:33Kingdom and why it ends up #2. Well, it's definitely not a
- 35:36distance for it took me about four years to even say that I
- 35:39had a favorite park 'cause I was like, I like them all evenly.
- 35:43And it depends on what mood I'm in that day or what I want to go
- 35:47see. But I mean, I just spent a lot
- 35:50of time. Animal Kingdom had moved here
- 35:53from another state and I just kind of grew love for the place
- 35:56because I spent so much time there.
- 36:00Festival The Lion King is the absolute best show.
- 36:02Walt Disney World, and I'm not the only one who says that.
- 36:05I've heard a lot of people say that.
- 36:11I don't know. I just I just like being there.
- 36:14It and is it go and have like a leisure walk around park day
- 36:20instead of a we got to do this ride.
- 36:22We got to do that. We got to do that.
- 36:24Yeah, as locals. We do at the parks a little
- 36:26differently. Yeah, and I think Animal Kingdom
- 36:29too. You take these little off beat
- 36:32paths and you see all the animals.
- 36:34You know, a lot of people, obviously you have, you know,
- 36:37Gorilla falls there, but you know, there's so many spots.
- 36:41People don't even know that there's Kangaroos in Animal
- 36:44Kingdom. And if when you first walk in
- 36:48and you're going to Discovery Island, you can go left, you can
- 36:50go right. Sometimes we'll go right both
- 36:54ways, so we'll go right coming in and then the other to the
- 36:57left side as you're coming out, which is your right so that you
- 37:01do get to catch both. But you know, there's so much
- 37:05there. I just, I, I think you're right.
- 37:07I think if people really slowed down and took their time, they
- 37:10would not think it was 1/2 day park.
- 37:12A lot of people think it's 1/2 day park.
- 37:15I, I don't, I think you can get a full day out of out of Animal
- 37:19Kingdom. So Speaking of animal Kingdom,
- 37:22what do you think of tropical Americas and everything that's
- 37:25I'm? Really, really, really excited.
- 37:27I think Miss Dinoland was misunderstoodable, that I don't
- 37:31think it was as bad as people thought.
- 37:33If Disney would have probably just reimagined a few things and
- 37:38kept making it happen, it would have it.
- 37:42I just don't think they did it justice.
- 37:45So if they're not going to do it justice, it's time to move on.
- 37:48So. Yeah, I mean, they'll have a hit
- 37:52in Tropical Americas, but I definitely see what you're what
- 37:55you're saying. I mean, we had gone to the
- 37:59Carnival side of Dinoland once. Finley never, even though we
- 38:04went a bunch of times, Finley never played in the Boneyard,
- 38:09you know, because there was always something else to do.
- 38:11So that won't be the case when Tropical Americas opens.
- 38:15I'm sure we will spend a lot of time there.
- 38:17Did you ever ride Primeval World?
- 38:20Nope, I never wrote it. I saw it closed down when I
- 38:25first moved here and it closed down and never reopened with a
- 38:28pandemic. And that ride was just
- 38:30interesting looking. I never wrote it, but I would
- 38:36think that ride has struck a lot of interest in future
- 38:39technologies. But it I don't think it was the
- 38:42best of rides. It, you know, I think it, it had
- 38:48its ups and downs, no pun intended.
- 38:51One thing was it was like a free coaster in terms of its spawn
- 38:59and you didn't know how many times, how many spins you were
- 39:01going to get. And sometimes it was a really
- 39:04bad ride for me with the amount of spins and sometimes not so
- 39:08bad, but it is. It gives me the chill saying it,
- 39:12but it is a ride or was a ride that or still is is near and
- 39:17dear to our heart here at Living in Dizz.
- 39:19It was our close out ride every time we went to Animal Kingdom
- 39:24on a Saturday night. And you have to probably rewind
- 39:27to back when we were just a vlogging channel and not live
- 39:30because I don't think we ever got to live stream that ride.
- 39:34But it was kind of like that. It opened up at the end of the
- 39:38night where not a lot of people sometimes had interest in it.
- 39:42So it became a game for Jill and Jacob and I like, all right,
- 39:46it's whatever, it's 815. Let's see how many times in a
- 39:49row we can ride, ride it. So we did it and sometimes it
- 39:56was, I don't even know, once, twice, three times, I don't know
- 39:58if we ever got 4, but it was, it was a, it was a fun ride for us
- 40:02to do. It was our close out ride.
- 40:04So we were sad to see that go. I think it became a danger
- 40:07actually. I think it became dangerous.
- 40:09I think there was some unsafe things to do with with it.
- 40:13And so they finally shut that down.
- 40:15Going back to Dinoland though, you know.
- 40:20The I think they probably just like some other projects, right?
- 40:23I think that they may have had other plans for it to make it
- 40:26better than it was, but the the Imagineers were only giving
- 40:30given a certain budget. So I always say you have to
- 40:33applaud the Imagineers for doing with doing what they did.
- 40:38I think they did a great job with what they had to work with.
- 40:41But if you would have opened the pocketbook for them, I think we
- 40:44would have seen a very different dinoland And our kids did get to
- 40:48play in the boneyard and the and the bone or the boneyard is
- 40:53considered yeah, yeah, yeah. The boneyard was the the, the
- 40:56stuff you could climb and all that, right.
- 40:58And then across the way you could dig, dig Dino bones.
- 41:00So yeah, they got to do all that.
- 41:04So you were, you were a third party cast member.
- 41:07So you had, as you, you were mentioning you had the, the kind
- 41:12of blackout passes where you could go and spend more time at,
- 41:15at Animal and Hollywood. When did you become an annual
- 41:20pass holder? I actually bought a Pixie Pass
- 41:26when I was still a cast member because we were blocked out so
- 41:29much. So it's like, you know, I'll
- 41:31just go to the other parks whenever I can't go to this.
- 41:36So I bought it towards the end of when I left.
- 41:39I had finished my undergrad and got the job with the company I
- 41:43am net with now. So it wasn't a a huge amount of
- 41:47time. But yeah, I had an annual pass
- 41:51and a green ID there at the end because I just got tired of
- 41:55being blocked out so much. Yeah, a lot of people I know had
- 42:00done that as well. Yeah, I think, I think that's
- 42:04pretty common that, you know, because the Pixie pass obviously
- 42:08isn't as much as the pass that Corey has or certainly the one
- 42:11that I have. And so cast members are like,
- 42:14yeah, that I can use that to to supplement that.
- 42:19And so so your favorite park is Epcot.
- 42:25What about for streaming? Does it change is do you have a
- 42:30favorite part to stream at differently in Europe?
- 42:32My favorite part to stream in and it it's the layout, it's the
- 42:37rides, it's the vibe. There's a lot to do when the
- 42:44crowds get crazy. You've got the fireworks show, I
- 42:49mean, and not once, well, there's only, you know, of
- 42:55course, Space Mountain and Tron, but not once I've ever told to
- 42:59put my phone away or put my gimbal away on the ride.
- 43:03So it's it's pretty easy to get all your content or all your
- 43:07streaming down in Magic Kingdom. Nobody tends to bother you about
- 43:13streaming. You just you just do it.
- 43:17And you know, the other parks are might, you know, I've had on
- 43:21Smugglers run one time and I think Corey had a situation as
- 43:27well. Let's open up that can.
- 43:31Let's open up that can right now.
- 43:34And I'm thinking that that was more dangerous than just holding
- 43:38the phone on the gimbal. Yeah, we've, we've talked about
- 43:43that last night on on the DSN Zoom call, how there's some
- 43:47rides where it's like they they tell you to, to, to do they had
- 43:53fat had it on guardians. They told him to take it off the
- 43:56gimbal. And I'm like, you just want me
- 43:58holding my phone like this now rather than my gimbal that I
- 44:02haven't. Made.
- 44:03That's the rule for. That's the rule for flight of
- 44:05passage as well. They would rather you hold that
- 44:08in your hand, which is super, super more dangerous.
- 44:11How about that? And, and the same thing for
- 44:13Tower of Terror. I've been told it's got to come
- 44:15off the gimbal. I'm like, but it's so much safer
- 44:18holding it with a gimbal. Oh, you know, doesn't make
- 44:21sense. And I have an action for now I
- 44:24just switch scenes basically and run the action for.
- 44:28I did Space Mountain at Disneyland.
- 44:31I did Space Mountain here as well.
- 44:34And and so, yeah, you mentioned smugglers run.
- 44:37Corey's had that too. What what other ones are?
- 44:39You had me thinking, I'm like, yeah, I guess that's never.
- 44:42Yeah, I was thinking too Magic Kingdom.
- 44:44I don't know if I've ever been told either anything over there.
- 44:48Yeah, but you know, to circle back, what were you thinking
- 44:53when you were producing the show 2 weeks ago?
- 44:55When we're on Smugglers Run, this is the second time it's
- 44:58happened to us and we get told to put that selfie stick away.
- 45:02OK, we're in the middle of a ride.
- 45:04I'm strapped in. Before we started you, you told
- 45:07me that I can't get up and I can't maneuver.
- 45:10I can't do anything and put my bag on the floor.
- 45:13I am strapped in. I can't get to my bag.
- 45:17I it's a full set up. I can't just put it in a bag.
- 45:21And for the first time ever, she said it twice and she wasn't as
- 45:24nice the second time. I literally stuck it between my
- 45:28legs. I'm like, fine, I'll just hold
- 45:31it right here. So for a little bit, you guys
- 45:33didn't see anything? Yeah.
- 45:35And I'm like, fine, whatever. And then she still yelled at me
- 45:37to put it away when I had it down out of sight, sitting on my
- 45:40lap. Yeah, I, I can tell you in
- 45:44producing I would, I had brought up the the audio in Obi Sierra
- 45:50know what I'm talking about the audio in OBS getting ready to
- 45:55mute your your feed because I, you know, I, I can only imagine,
- 46:01I know how frustrated I was getting.
- 46:03So I could only imagine how frustrated you know you were
- 46:06getting. But and they can't hear you.
- 46:09Don't you think it should be a two way?
- 46:11Like they cannot hear you in there and I you.
- 46:14Know 'cause the last time I streamed Smugglers Run I saw
- 46:19someone who kind of looked like a supervisor.
- 46:21He looked like he knew he was doing and I went and asked him
- 46:24and I got his name on his name tag just in case I had any
- 46:27issues. Yeah.
- 46:30My plan was like so and so at the front and said it was said
- 46:36it was fine. I've already cleared it with
- 46:37him. Yeah.
- 46:39It it, it's a good idea, right? And as of an as a network, we
- 46:42always want to be, you know, as courteous and kind as we can.
- 46:45Even though we know what the rules are.
- 46:49Sometimes it's always the newer cast members that are, you know,
- 46:52they may, it's not like they don't know the rules, but they
- 46:55may just be enforcing to a, to a degree where other cast members
- 47:00who were seasoned are good to go with it or just recognize
- 47:03gimbals compared to to selfie sticks.
- 47:06And this time the happy ending was when we got off the
- 47:09attraction right away. They were right there.
- 47:12Like we got you where you can go right back on.
- 47:15We're going to give you a, a, a lightning lane to go right back
- 47:18on. Like I didn't even have to
- 47:21discuss it with anybody. So apparently something happened
- 47:24within the control room where they were like, hey, hey, hey,
- 47:27that is not that is not a a selfie stick.
- 47:30He should be good to go. And I apologize to everyone in
- 47:33there in the ride. I'm like, I'm so sorry.
- 47:35We've been through this before. I said we'll just make sure we
- 47:39ask that you guys can go again. Even if we don't get to go
- 47:41again, I want to make sure you guys get to go again.
- 47:44And they were fine with it, too. So yeah, it happens to us.
- 47:48I usually just, whatever the cast member says, I just set
- 47:52that and just move on and keep going on.
- 47:55You know there's no need to. No, I would never argue.
- 47:59No, no, I just asked for a manager, you know, can I speak
- 48:03to a manager? And most of the time they'll
- 48:05just say you're good, you know, or they'll go get somebody quick
- 48:08and they'll say, yeah, you're good.
- 48:10So, and we're lucky. We're always lucky.
- 48:12Disney allows us to do what we get, what we do.
- 48:14Very grateful for that. Well, since we're talking about
- 48:19odd moments while streaming, we might as well talk about one
- 48:22that the three of us were involved in during the first
- 48:26weekend. The first weekend of Starlight.
- 48:29If any of you don't know, go back and either watch Corey's or
- 48:33Sierra's. You'll get different
- 48:35perspectives there. So we were streaming Starlight,
- 48:42and then we went and walked up Main Street to see Happily Ever
- 48:47After. We were maybe about halfway
- 48:51right. We weren't we, We weren't in the
- 48:53beginning. We.
- 48:53Were we were like halfway back one of my favorite spots and we
- 48:58encountered thousands of clones, but go ahead.
- 49:01It's so, so Sierra comes out one, I think before she got
- 49:05there, Corey and I were were chatting, waiting for happily
- 49:09ever after. And all of a sudden it starts
- 49:10getting loud. And I look behind me and there's
- 49:13a sea of teal blue shirts, you know, from one of the groups,
- 49:21the international groups, just a bunch of young ladies behind us.
- 49:26And I'm like, oh, OK. And then all of a sudden we were
- 49:29being like. We are being swallowed up by
- 49:32them. Yeah, it was like a like a bad,
- 49:36a bad night of Call of Duty, and they just kind of overtook us.
- 49:42And so then we walked up and then I think that's about when
- 49:45Sierra joined. And, you know, we're, we're
- 49:48just, they've got their gimbals. I'm not holding anything.
- 49:51I got my bag. And all of a sudden again, they
- 49:55just move up. I mean, we move 50 feet away
- 49:58from them and they just moved up again.
- 50:00And then at one point, Sierra's on my right, Corey's on my left,
- 50:05and I'm maybe 2 feet, if that, but you know, away from both of
- 50:11them. And the girls are trying to come
- 50:14in between the two of us. Finally, I just put my arms up
- 50:19and I'm like, no, no, you got to go around.
- 50:23That was the craziest weekend that I've ever experienced in
- 50:29the parks. I just, I think it kind of ties
- 50:33the three of us together forever.
- 50:36Guests were unhinged. You know, if I would have told
- 50:39you that the day before, Lawrence, tomorrow night, you
- 50:41were going to be surrounded by thousands of Brazilian women,
- 50:44you'd be like, all right now. No, no.
- 50:48This is the wrong. Version No, not like that at
- 50:51all. It was it was it was crazy.
- 50:54And how much? And then some of the girls
- 50:56started to pose. So I'm like, OK, this is free
- 50:59for all. There's no supervision.
- 51:01I'm usually really careful with youngsters if they want to be on
- 51:04camera. But I just point, I, I let them
- 51:06have a second of screen time right there.
- 51:08And then that's when one of the the leaders who didn't speak
- 51:12English wanted to say something to us instead.
- 51:15We'll let them run wild all over you.
- 51:17But yeah, no problem with that camera at them.
- 51:19I'm like, excuse me? And so that was the same
- 51:22weekend. That was Starlight, right?
- 51:23That was Starlight. That was, yeah.
- 51:26Did you hear a little bit? Did you get a flashback on
- 51:28Saturdays when we were at Universal for Mardi Gras pre
- 51:31parade? No, because Tammy was sitting
- 51:37and Jacob was sitting and then they put our backpacks to the
- 51:42right of Jacob and there was a trash can.
- 51:45It was to save my spot because I didn't want our audience.
- 51:48I don't want to go live and have our audience hang for an hour
- 51:50and 45 or whatever. So our our plan was let me tour
- 51:55the park, let I know that there is stilt walkers walking around.
- 51:58There's some interaction I can do with some of the Mardi Gras
- 52:01players and we can grab some food and then I'll circle back
- 52:05and it'll be, you know, the parade will start in no time.
- 52:07Got back with about 15 minutes to spare.
- 52:09And I'm sitting there and all of a sudden a dude with like a
- 52:13stroller, I swear as a double stroller is trying to stick it
- 52:16between Tammy and another guest. Excuse me, excuse me.
- 52:20Can I just get up here? Can I just get up here?
- 52:22And, and Tammy is like, excuse me, you know, there's not really
- 52:26any room over here. And then he had somewhere, he
- 52:28said something to her. He's don't say stuff to my wife.
- 52:33And and so I just observed and he said something to her.
- 52:35And I said, you know what? There is a ramp right over
- 52:37there. He goes where?
- 52:39The ramp is. Flashbacks, Flashbacks.
- 52:44Have you, have you experienced anything like that in, in the
- 52:48time you've been streaming Me, Yeah.
- 52:53Yeah, OK. I thought you guys were still
- 52:55talking. I experience it all the time.
- 52:59I feel like this holiday season and there's been sometimes
- 53:02you've got the people who pro Disney tip it, don't think
- 53:08you're going to get like an amazing spot 5 minutes before a
- 53:11parade. It's just not happening.
- 53:14People are already set up and established.
- 53:16So if you and then I just see a bunch of people stepping up on
- 53:21and trying to push you out of the way and they think they have
- 53:24a good spot, but that spots already occupied and that's
- 53:30streaming or not. Like regardless, it's just like
- 53:34you got to give her. I mean, you don't have to give
- 53:37everybody 5 feet all around, but you know, give everybody a
- 53:41little bit of space and give them a little bit of courtesy to
- 53:44see, you know, we're all in one space.
- 53:47We've got to, we got to share it.
- 53:48And it's just those people who step right up on the curb
- 53:54thinking that they got a good spot 5 minutes before that.
- 53:58It just doesn't work like that. Not in Disney World, no.
- 54:02Disney World America could never institute the behavior that the
- 54:10beautiful behavior they have at Disney Tokyo Disneyland.
- 54:13Because if anybody doesn't know, for parades there, you can show
- 54:18up any time of the day and you can put your blanket, your
- 54:21little mat in the spot you want to watch that parade.
- 54:24And you can come back at night and it's still there.
- 54:28And everyone respects it and will not take your spot.
- 54:32That would never happen here. Isn't it crazy?
- 54:34It's all about culture. Yeah, But how crazy is that that
- 54:38you can do that? It's nuts.
- 54:40I want somebody to go try that in Magic Kingdom, see if see if
- 54:43your blank. Never mind your spot, your
- 54:44blanket's going to be gone. Excuse me Sir, I put my mat
- 54:48there at 9:00 AM today. That does remind.
- 54:52Me, you can put your blanket down and people will start
- 54:55sitting and standing on your blanket.
- 54:56Yeah, yeah, I have seen it. I have seen it.
- 55:00That does remind me of the chair hogging on cruises.
- 55:02It's it's kind of frowned upon on a cruise.
- 55:05You put your blanket over there on on a chair.
- 55:09And walk away for hours. Walk away for hours.
- 55:12They're supposed to come around and pick them up.
- 55:14If you're not, if it they don't see anybody come over after a
- 55:17little bit. I don't know how much they
- 55:18follow up on that. So you have not done a Disney
- 55:23cruise, right? Sierra.
- 55:26I have never been on a Disney cruise.
- 55:28I'm, you know, I, I'm a huge entertainment person.
- 55:32One of the things I love about creating content is covering
- 55:36entertainment. And I know Disney's like #1 I do
- 55:41get do a lot of Royal Caribbean, but not I've been on the Disney
- 55:47Cruise and like, I'm not a big casino person either.
- 55:49So Disney Cruise Lines probably down my alley.
- 55:54So do you. Think that you have not quite
- 55:58yet done a Disney Cruise, but you've done plenty of others or
- 56:02especially Royal because you feel like you get enough fill of
- 56:07characters and Disney experiences on a daily basis.
- 56:12Because if I speak for our channel over here, that's a
- 56:15little bit of, we feel, you know, love seeing the
- 56:17characters. We can see the characters
- 56:21anytime. So it's not a selling point for
- 56:24us to to go on a Disney cruise for characters because it's we
- 56:27kind of live that. So how do you feel about all
- 56:30that? You know, I probably will do a
- 56:34Disney cruise at some point coming up, but it's mostly price
- 56:38for me. I can do 2-3 cruises for what a
- 56:42Disney cruise cost. Yeah.
- 56:45I'm always getting the cheap budget stuff.
- 56:47I don't mind. I don't mind an interior room on
- 56:52a on Carnival or MSC which it's only a few $100 a cruise.
- 56:58Wow, that's a good deal. Yeah.
- 57:01And then with with Disney, you're gonna pay like 1000 to
- 57:041500 for the short cruises. Yeah, each.
- 57:07Yeah, yeah. There's a big difference in
- 57:09price and we just feel like for the fix we get at Disney, we're
- 57:13OK doing more cruises on other cruise lines because we get our
- 57:19Disney fix on a weekly basis. So it's kind of a nice little
- 57:23advantage for us. I feel like too Tammy from
- 57:26Living in Diz, she sounds familiar.
- 57:28She may be a new listener, but she says on Saturday a guy asked
- 57:32whose bags were on the ground. I think he was about to move
- 57:36them, which was my bag. So, so on your cruises, Sierra,
- 57:42do you prefer shorter cruises, longer cruises?
- 57:46What? What's your average night that
- 57:49you go on a cruise? You know, I kind of feel like at
- 57:53least five days. Sometimes seven days can feel a
- 57:56little long, but I think 5 days, five to seven days is the sweet
- 58:01spot. Those three and four day cruises
- 58:03like just getting started and. Then it's over.
- 58:08Yeah. Do you have a a preference on
- 58:13where the cruise goes? Not really.
- 58:17I've learned well. I'm not a huge fan of someone
- 58:21who fly has to fly to go to your cruise.
- 58:24But when I went to Disneyland, it's a different story because I
- 58:28flew to Disneyland and I was there for four days before I
- 58:31even made it to the cruise ship. OK.
- 58:36So it wasn't like I flew in and it was more like flying out.
- 58:39Yeah. Do someone coming from Orlando
- 58:43like us to go to Disneyland? Do you have any money saving
- 58:48tips to do that? So they have good neighbor
- 58:51hotels and packages. So where you can stay at like
- 58:57the Sonesta or somewhere like that, it's pretty.
- 59:01The the room is, you know, it's, it's not luxury, but it's clean
- 59:06and it's, it's, you're not there that much anyway.
- 59:11Exactly that's. What I would do is do a do a
- 59:13lower price like good neighbor Hotel.
- 59:17I mean, you're going to get like basically All Star kind of.
- 59:22Benefits there. Yeah, I mean, it was the hotel
- 59:27was super clean. The the customer service was
- 59:30really nice. The price was good.
- 59:33But you know, I did open to close three days in a row at
- 59:37Disneyland. I was that was just my place to
- 59:40sleep. Right.
- 59:42Gotcha, gotcha. You're just laying in your head
- 59:44there and. Especially there.
- 59:47You probably need to go on on to a good neighbor hotel and save
- 59:52save some money if you're not going to be there a lot so.
- 59:55Especially because Pixar, Disneyland Hotel and.
- 1:00:00Grand Californian. That's that's a chunk.
- 1:00:02That's a that's a little bit more than the Disney Cruise
- 1:00:05there. Yeah, it is.
- 1:00:08Is there a certain airline that you would recommend to people
- 1:00:12flying out of Florida? So if you fly into, I think it's
- 1:00:17John Wayne through Southwest Airlines, they will bring your
- 1:00:22bags to the like to Disney for you.
- 1:00:25I don't know all the details. I flew to LAX because I have a
- 1:00:30friend who lives, works close by.
- 1:00:33I flew to LAX. He just grabbed me and we went
- 1:00:37and hung out at Downtown Disney that evening.
- 1:00:42It's my first time seeing the Disneyland Hotel.
- 1:00:44That was like, you know, that's that's the the original resort.
- 1:00:50That's the original hotel. Yeah, yeah.
- 1:00:56And are those those three hotels as as we know them here value
- 1:01:01moderate deluxe, the three hotels over there, are they all
- 1:01:05deluxe feeling or yeah. I mean, if you look at the
- 1:01:11prices, you can definitely tell their deluxe prices, but they're
- 1:01:16right there in town. Disney, it's like you're already
- 1:01:20at Disney. Like you don't need a shuttle or
- 1:01:23a bus to get there. Yeah, I mean, there's a tram
- 1:01:26that takes you from Pixar Place, but.
- 1:01:30Other than that, it's right there.
- 1:01:32What was your travel like to and from the park?
- 1:01:34Did you walk or what'd you do? So there's this thing called
- 1:01:38Anaheim Regional Transportation, and they're getting rid of it.
- 1:01:42I think it's going away in April or something like that, but it's
- 1:01:45like. Is Bob Capek involved over
- 1:01:47there? I paid like 10 or 15 bucks and I
- 1:01:52got to ride that bus for the whole week.
- 1:01:55Oh. And it's about a $10 Uber or you
- 1:02:00can stay close. I mean, there's good neighbor
- 1:02:02hotels right across the street. They're going to be a little bit
- 1:02:04more pricey, but obviously the convenience is worth it.
- 1:02:07It's worth it. Interesting.
- 1:02:11So our our viewers have some some questions.
- 1:02:15So I'm going to throw those up for you.
- 1:02:18You answered Rod's question already.
- 1:02:19He he asked what was your favorite park?
- 1:02:21That was Epcot. But your favorite park to stream
- 1:02:25is Magic. Absolutely.
- 1:02:28All right, All Aboard with Blake asks what's going to be your
- 1:02:33first ride? And I think he was really asking
- 1:02:35us when we talked about Disneyland because she said her
- 1:02:38first ride was Mr. Toad. I don't know.
- 1:02:42Wow, that's a question I've ever been asked.
- 1:02:44Yeah, well, let's let's assume that everything's availability
- 1:02:48is on a 5 minute wait. So that's out of the that's
- 1:02:51that's on the table. Let me tell you this while we
- 1:02:56think about answering this question.
- 1:02:57I was watching a vlog from Disneyland yesterday and I
- 1:03:01looked at Tammy and I go I didn't even realize that they
- 1:03:04had Buzz Lightyear and I watched enough Disneyland.
- 1:03:08I didn't know that they had Buzz Lightyear.
- 1:03:11They do. Our little should be better.
- 1:03:13It's a little different, right, Sierra?
- 1:03:16Yeah, I think it's going to be more like what we're getting.
- 1:03:18And I went on it multiple times and you know, ours.
- 1:03:22I can just get Galactic Hero super easy there.
- 1:03:24I got 500,000. That was my highest score.
- 1:03:28I got 500,000 in two years. Count it all up.
- 1:03:34But yeah, their Buzz Lightyear, it's it's kind of cool.
- 1:03:39I mean, it's, I think I like ours a little better, but it's
- 1:03:45not called Space Ranger Spin. I forget what it's called, but
- 1:03:49it's right there at the entrance of Tomorrowland.
- 1:03:54Oh, let me ask you about that. How's it feel having Star Tours
- 1:03:57in Tomorrowland did that? Because to me, looking at it on
- 1:04:01on on live streams, I it feels weird to me to have Star Tours
- 1:04:05in Tomorrowland. Does it OK?
- 1:04:08But it fits like it it it fits right into Tomorrowland.
- 1:04:11It looks good there. OK, All right, it.
- 1:04:14Does it does? I think it fits a lot better
- 1:04:17than Hollywood studios where it's at there.
- 1:04:20Yeah, I will agree 100% with that.
- 1:04:23It's. It's definitely out of place.
- 1:04:25Right. Yeah, but now it feels.
- 1:04:26It's always been out of place. It's always been out of place.
- 1:04:29Well, we say that now, right? It wasn't out of place until
- 1:04:32Galaxy's Edge showed up. Yeah, yeah, really.
- 1:04:36And what about where their galaxy's edge is?
- 1:04:38Did did that feel odd to have it?
- 1:04:41Now that feels odd 'cause you're, you're riding the Mark
- 1:04:44Twain or you're riding the train and you can see the Blue
- 1:04:49Mountains behind the Red Mountains kind of.
- 1:04:52And that's, and, and that just doesn't feel right to me.
- 1:04:57It, it looked out of place. It's outside the berm.
- 1:05:02And I went over there for a minute, but I was like, we have
- 1:05:05this Hollywood studios and rise of the distance was down.
- 1:05:09And I was like, this is not quite what I'm here for, right?
- 1:05:12Right. Yeah, that's funny.
- 1:05:16I want to welcome Palm Bay Jags Fan 1265 to the LIDVIP Club at
- 1:05:26the median level. Thank you so much for for
- 1:05:30becoming part of the family. We appreciate that.
- 1:05:35Now if Ryze was running, would you have gone on it?
- 1:05:40No, because. Everything I know it's it's it's
- 1:05:43a cutting image of what we have. Yeah.
- 1:05:46And I know that there there's a lot more fan culture of Star
- 1:05:50Wars in Galaxy's Edge at Disneyland.
- 1:05:53And but I wasn't really there for that.
- 1:05:56I was like, I'm there for the haunted mansions and the and
- 1:06:00the, you know, space mountains and the matterhorns, like the
- 1:06:04classics or something we don't have right.
- 1:06:09I would do you know if I would answer that question too, like I
- 1:06:13would only do rides like Ryze if I had time, you know what I
- 1:06:18mean? Because we have it and it's
- 1:06:20pretty much the same. So I we would have to feel like,
- 1:06:23all right, we've been here for two days.
- 1:06:24We've kind of done everything once or twice to walk on
- 1:06:28whatever, let's go do it just to say we did it kind of thing.
- 1:06:31So back to that question, I really like Sierra's answer of
- 1:06:35going to Mr. Toad because I never had the chance to ride Mr.
- 1:06:39Toad. Yeah, I do like that one.
- 1:06:43But Speaking of that, like, and Walt said it himself,
- 1:06:45Fantasyland's his was his favorite part of Disneyland.
- 1:06:50Like they're the Fantasyland out in Disneyland is incredible.
- 1:06:52There's all these little small dark rides and they're pretty
- 1:06:56similar to each other. But you know, and then KC
- 1:07:00Junior, the little trains over there and like the Alice in
- 1:07:05Wonderland is on top of Mr. Toads kind of in the back on the
- 1:07:08top. And then there's a Snow White
- 1:07:12ride and then there's a Pinocchio ride that are very
- 1:07:15similar. And it's just like all these
- 1:07:17cool little awesome rides. That would be better than what
- 1:07:23we have. Like I wouldn't mind an overhaul
- 1:07:25of our some of our fantasyland. You know, we can just wipe out
- 1:07:30that whole area when villains is done.
- 1:07:33You know, we we we could wipe out the Speedway and continue on
- 1:07:36to to you. Just you just have to put Dumbo
- 1:07:39somewhere else. You can't get rid of Dumbo, but
- 1:07:41we can get we can get rid of goofies and we can get rid of
- 1:07:44the spray area and the big top. Like it's time to do something
- 1:07:48different over there. But but as a kid, Dumbo was
- 1:07:52right there by the carousel where all the.
- 1:07:54Yes, it was. Kingdom I remember that was.
- 1:07:58Yep, and Toontown. I just remember that where
- 1:08:00circus was. Yes, exactly.
- 1:08:03Yeah. Exactly, Bombay says.
- 1:08:06When is the best? Oh, go ahead.
- 1:08:09Right. Roger Rabbit at 22. 2 the.
- 1:08:12Best the little Binny cab rides and it's hard to turn the car
- 1:08:16and it's it's it's great. Yeah, that, that would be a must
- 1:08:20do for me over there. I wonder if that would maybe
- 1:08:24see, I'd like to do that one because I feel like it's, it's
- 1:08:27really different. You know, it's a different
- 1:08:29character than we we have, you know, we had Rodger Rabbit for a
- 1:08:33little bit in Hollywood Studios in the very beginning, but we
- 1:08:36didn't have a ride. Maybe that would be my first
- 1:08:40ride, something totally different.
- 1:08:44Palm Bay had a question, when is the best time to Disney Cruise
- 1:08:48as far as pricing? When they throw out some
- 1:08:53discounts like for me, I would tell you that, you know, look at
- 1:09:02when they're throwing out discounts and I think it's
- 1:09:04pretty much early in the years when you see that and I could I
- 1:09:09could be wrong. Sierra can answer if.
- 1:09:12Isn't it usually the same with all theme with all cruise lines
- 1:09:15to where the as soon as it comes out is normally the cheapest
- 1:09:18price? I always find 90 days before the
- 1:09:23sailing or when it first comes out is the cheapest price.
- 1:09:28And then September and like early December before school
- 1:09:34lets out is good. And then, but you go in the
- 1:09:43summer, you're going to pay summer prices from like March
- 1:09:47all the way to early August. You're going to pay those
- 1:09:51prices. But you can find some pretty
- 1:09:54offseason deals usually, yeah. Yeah, yeah, I think if you're
- 1:09:59not a slave to the school schedule, anytime school is is
- 1:10:04is in is probably the cheapest times to go.
- 1:10:09Tony Otara wants to know, did you get stomach butterflies when
- 1:10:13riding cars? I did not get stomach
- 1:10:17butterflies, but I was just so amazed like I when you when you
- 1:10:24get it out before you go racing, you get to see Doc Hudson and
- 1:10:28Tomator and Lightning McQueen and it's just super cool.
- 1:10:32Yeah. Park World Radio has added that
- 1:10:37ride on their in their rotation. Oh wow.
- 1:10:41OK. Yeah, I was like, what am I
- 1:10:42listening to the other day? I was like OK I get it now.
- 1:10:46Very cool and Anne wants to know what's your favorite ride or
- 1:10:51show in each of the Disney World parks?
- 1:10:57So Magic Kingdom favorite ride? Haunted Mansion?
- 1:11:01That's always been my favorite ride.
- 1:11:05It's. Been why I love Haunted Mansion
- 1:11:08and you know I'm getting a little old so Carousel Progress
- 1:11:13would be my show. Epcot, my favorite ride.
- 1:11:17So I have this. I don't know, I just love
- 1:11:20Spaceship Earth. I know there's better rides, but
- 1:11:24you know, nothing feels better. And like you're at Epcot then
- 1:11:30just taking a nice little ride on Spaceship Earth.
- 1:11:32When you come right into the park, you know you're going to
- 1:11:36have a good day. You've already thanked the
- 1:11:37Phoenicians and it's just time to get started.
- 1:11:41And Hollywood Studios used to love The Muppets the most, but
- 1:11:50now it's probably probably Tower of Terror.
- 1:11:53I think Tower of Terror is the absolute 100% best themed ride
- 1:11:57that Disney's ever made. While it's not the most
- 1:12:01enjoyable ride Disney's ever made, it's it's definitely the
- 1:12:04most well themed. Yeah, yeah, I do like that
- 1:12:09animal Kingdom. Probably Expedition Everest
- 1:12:14because it's a nice little small coaster that has a ton of G
- 1:12:17force. Yes it does.
- 1:12:22Yes, it. Double grip on the gimbal after
- 1:12:26you, after you hit that exit, that drop coming out of the
- 1:12:29mountain right that that couple spins, that those couple of
- 1:12:32circles, you make, you feel those G's, don't you?
- 1:12:36Yeah, even the ones when you're going backwards, you're you're,
- 1:12:38you're filling them. I try not to be like a dog with
- 1:12:42the tongue hanging out and then like that saliva hitting the
- 1:12:45people that sit right behind you.
- 1:12:49So. So what's next for for your
- 1:12:53channels? You know, coming back I'm just
- 1:12:57trying to get caught up on the back end of things.
- 1:13:01Work is a little crazy and right now I'm just trying to get
- 1:13:05prepared for a good spring and summer cause the good weather is
- 1:13:09amongst us. I think today is probably going
- 1:13:11to be our last super cool day of the year and we're going to
- 1:13:15start complaining about our our phones overheating in a few
- 1:13:18months and so it's just time to go make it happen.
- 1:13:24Not really doing any travel and it's going to be a lot of theme
- 1:13:27park content. Flower and garden is coming up
- 1:13:31next week and I'm pretty sure actually I'm not going to give
- 1:13:35it away. I'll let you guys say what cuz
- 1:13:37sometimes you guys talk about that kind of stuff.
- 1:13:41That's next week's. Show but.
- 1:13:43Yeah, that's kind of kind of where I was going with that is
- 1:13:48you guys are always rolling out the menus.
- 1:13:51We love that. It's my favorite week.
- 1:13:54It's my favorite week of the channel.
- 1:13:56Whenever we get to preview, I don't, you know, I don't, I
- 1:13:59don't know. Well, I guess there's I feel
- 1:14:04like we're the only channel that does it the way we do it where
- 1:14:07we do, we have a podcast, we preview it and then we live
- 1:14:10stream it within days and we we talk about day one foods and
- 1:14:14things like that. So it's a nice carryover.
- 1:14:16I love it for the people that watch the podcast and then they
- 1:14:19get to come over on Saturdays and kind of see it all unfold.
- 1:14:23It's my do you get excited about that too, Sierra, where I just
- 1:14:27love hitting a brand new festival day one for us and it's
- 1:14:31it's all new it's all new merch, it's all new shows.
- 1:14:33It's all new food. It's so much fun I.
- 1:14:37Love it. And you know, being down here
- 1:14:38for song and you probably the same way, you get to see all
- 1:14:40your friends, 'cause everybody comes out, yeah.
- 1:14:43And. Yeah, anybody's who's anybody is
- 1:14:46there. Pretty much and that and that's
- 1:14:49what I'm going to do. I took a day off work.
- 1:14:51I'm not going to build your I'm going to make your like
- 1:14:54traditional video. I'm going to go out and I'm
- 1:14:56going to make like a documentary about what happens on the first
- 1:14:59day of Epcot festivals. And I'm not going to worry about
- 1:15:04which food tastes more spicy or which one's hot or which one's
- 1:15:08worth the money. Just going to go out and
- 1:15:10document like how much fun it is and all the things that you can
- 1:15:14be excited about for a festival at Epcot on the first day.
- 1:15:20I like that alternative way of thinking.
- 1:15:22Yeah, there because there's a definite energy, right when you
- 1:15:25have a new festival, whether it's arts or flower and garden
- 1:15:31or food and wine, there's a there's an energy there for the
- 1:15:34first day. So yeah, I, I like the idea of
- 1:15:36of capturing that. Good for you.
- 1:15:38That'll be that'll be exciting to see.
- 1:15:40And I think that's a side people don't.
- 1:15:42You know, a lot of us focus on the food or the merch or, you
- 1:15:47know, the art or the entertainment, but that's it.
- 1:15:50That's a totally different angle.
- 1:15:51Yeah, I'd like to see that. Very cool.
- 1:15:54And for those of you that don't know, Sierra has one of the most
- 1:15:57technical setups around of any Disney live streamer.
- 1:16:04Of course she streams somewhat the way that that we do on Park
- 1:16:08Bros and Living in Days. And I think there's only two
- 1:16:13others that I know of that are doing it that way.
- 1:16:15A theme park giant and and all aboard with Blake that are in
- 1:16:18the network. Do you do you?
- 1:16:26I know that you push yourself right and you push your your
- 1:16:29tech. Do you ever think I should I
- 1:16:34should just slow down or you always like what's next?
- 1:16:38How do I how do I reinvent myself?
- 1:16:40How do I keep pushing the envelope?
- 1:16:43Pushing the envelope is part of my ecosystem.
- 1:16:45That's something I'm always going to do.
- 1:16:47I work in IT and that's what we do.
- 1:16:49I'm always testing something new.
- 1:16:53I'm always trying new things and technology evolves so quick.
- 1:16:58But something just dawned on me this week that I I think I'm
- 1:17:01pushing it too hard. You need to simplify it a little
- 1:17:05bit and and that was kind of why I created a second channel so I
- 1:17:12can do all that weird tech stuff all over there and talk 100%
- 1:17:16about tech. So I don't, you know, we're all
- 1:17:21here for Disney. We're not necessarily here to
- 1:17:23understand what an IP address or what kind of routing we're doing
- 1:17:29or all these camera video specs were.
- 1:17:32We're all brought together over Disney and try to keep it more
- 1:17:36more on track with Disney. I like that.
- 1:17:40I like that. Well, I'm going to add, I don't
- 1:17:46know if you answered this, but we have Flower and Garden
- 1:17:49starting. What's your favorite festival?
- 1:17:53And Festival of the Arts, you know, I missed a lot of it this
- 1:17:57year because of Disneyland. I'm not angry.
- 1:18:01I spent a lot of time with Disney on Broadway.
- 1:18:04That's one of my favorite aspects of Festival of the Arts
- 1:18:07because you basically get to go and it's never busy except for
- 1:18:12Saturday night. It was slammed.
- 1:18:16Happened to know a cast member who helped us get some upfront
- 1:18:20seats. Or I forget her name, but she
- 1:18:24was the original Bell. Was that was that Susan Egan
- 1:18:27that night? Susan Egan and the guy who
- 1:18:32played and also the guy who played the first Genie, they
- 1:18:36that was the absolute best performance I've ever seen.
- 1:18:41He got up there with so much confidence and he had the
- 1:18:44perfect moves. And you're like these guys, they
- 1:18:47don't do this anymore for years. They still have every move like
- 1:18:52they did in the in the production.
- 1:18:55Yeah, it's ingrained in them. And Festival of the Arts became
- 1:18:57my favorite this year. Like, it's hands down.
- 1:19:01It's just so much fun to eat food and just you probably don't
- 1:19:05even cover every every. I feel like you can't cover
- 1:19:10every art booth in one or two visits without really taking
- 1:19:16your time and appreciating the art there.
- 1:19:19I did get a chance to know, get to know some of the artists.
- 1:19:22I put them on the stream and kind of gave them some free
- 1:19:26promotion out there for my audience.
- 1:19:28Tell. Us how they can find you, let
- 1:19:31these people call you on Instagram or social media and
- 1:19:33they were all super happy and excited about it.
- 1:19:37That's a great idea. I don't know if this will show
- 1:19:39up little unprofessional style, but the some of you wanted to
- 1:19:43know how our art wall turned out.
- 1:19:46I don't know how good that looks, Lawrence, but yeah, it
- 1:19:49probably doesn't look great, but maybe I can give you a slide to
- 1:19:53show when we're live tomorrow night or something.
- 1:19:56But that's our art wall. We that's that almost everything
- 1:20:00there we bought at this festival.
- 1:20:02Wow. And I and I threw in the R2D2
- 1:20:06metal frame, which is new over at Droid Depot, which is
- 1:20:10amazing. But yeah, most, a lot of that is
- 1:20:14from this year, so. Very nice.
- 1:20:17And I just, I want to thank my friend Art by Nemad for making
- 1:20:20me my art over here. Oh, nice.
- 1:20:24He's really good. He is really good, yeah.
- 1:20:27Check him out on on Instagram. Yeah.
- 1:20:31And he's very supportive of the Disney live streaming community
- 1:20:35for sure. So that's always.
- 1:20:36Good, this Simone and Simone's one of my favorite characters.
- 1:20:40What's the matter with you? I love it well, I want to thank
- 1:20:48Sierra for coming on tonight talking about her Disneyland
- 1:20:52trip cruising streaming. It's it was great to have you
- 1:20:58on. She is a great member of the
- 1:21:00Disney streamer network, great friend and she is always there,
- 1:21:06you know, to help newer creators, people that are
- 1:21:09starting to get into want to stream the way we do.
- 1:21:13She's very helpful. So I, I thank you for everything
- 1:21:17that you do for, for the live stream community, for.
- 1:21:21Sure. Yeah.
- 1:21:22Thank you so much for giving us your time.
- 1:21:23We appreciate it. And keep on doing what you're
- 1:21:25doing. And you're part of the Disney
- 1:21:27Streamer Network, and we're all one and we're all here for each
- 1:21:31other. So yeah, it was a pleasure
- 1:21:35having you on. Really enjoyed it.
- 1:21:36Yeah, this is a lot of fun. Thanks.
- 1:21:38And I met you in the parks many times, Corey.
- 1:21:41And then I met Lawrence a little bit and he started this or you
- 1:21:45guys started this network. I've learned about the network
- 1:21:47through him. So.
- 1:21:50But it's been a real success. There's a lot of good channels
- 1:21:54out there. Everybody's.
- 1:21:59I mean, it's just I could never imagine that it would became
- 1:22:04what it is today. I mean, it's not even that old
- 1:22:07yet, but yeah, it's really, it's really, it's really happening.
- 1:22:11Yeah, and it's and it's, it's because everyone in the in the
- 1:22:15network is different. The way we stream, our
- 1:22:18personalities, where we're at, you know, in life, what we do,
- 1:22:23how many days we go to the parks.
- 1:22:26And so everybody kind of brings their own flair to and I think
- 1:22:29that's what makes what makes a community, any community great.
- 1:22:33So, yeah, I, I appreciate that. And I'm a mod on cruise and
- 1:22:38theme park guide. And it's the same way that
- 1:22:40community, you know, you see it whether it's whether it's living
- 1:22:45in days or cruise and theme park guide or any of the other
- 1:22:47channels, that community, they just gel well together.
- 1:22:52And so then when you start putting multiple channels
- 1:22:56together, you see, you see what happens, It grows even more.
- 1:22:59So thank you again for everything that you do for for
- 1:23:05the network and for your, your community as well.
- 1:23:11Well, thank you guys so much and I will see you guys in the park
- 1:23:14soon. Yes, yes, Sierra, everybody,
- 1:23:18thank you very much. We will see you in the parks for
- 1:23:21sure. That's a good phrase.
- 1:23:23Maybe I should end my live streams like that.
- 1:23:26Thank you so much. We'll see.
- 1:23:27Well, I'm sure I'll see you soon in the parks.
- 1:23:30Right. Well, you kind of do.
- 1:23:33You do you do. We'll see you in the parks.
- 1:23:37Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's not kind of.
- 1:23:38It's every time, yes, You know, for seven years.
- 1:23:41Yeah, yeah, a little bit. No, it's a little bit.
- 1:23:43It's good. It's our tackling, you know.
- 1:23:46You know, that could be a good Disney Streamers Network
- 1:23:49T-shirt. Everyone has a closing line,
- 1:23:51don't they? I mean, you just, you just kind
- 1:23:54of put those on there with the channel name, channel channel
- 1:23:56logos, that kind of thing. That's some that's a good idea
- 1:23:59for some Disney Streamer merch. Yeah, yeah.
- 1:24:02All right. All right, we're gonna work on
- 1:24:03some. Merch I have another idea too.
- 1:24:05I have another idea to add I I have I have a good challenge
- 1:24:09that we could add to the network.
- 1:24:11All right, All right. I like it.
- 1:24:13Yeah. So as we mentioned earlier, next
- 1:24:17week's show is going to be the flower and garden preview.
- 1:24:22I better start working on that now because there's a lot to
- 1:24:25cover. So we we will we'll get working
- 1:24:28on that soon. So that'll be that'll be next
- 1:24:32week and then the week after that is going to be a fun show
- 1:24:36we are going to do. Are we going on location?
- 1:24:41Oh, no, not yet. Not yet, not yet, not yet.
- 1:24:44That was fun that time, though. That was a good time.
- 1:24:49So the week after that's going to be is it worth it?
- 1:24:53We're going to play is it worth it?
- 1:24:55We're going to have a bunch of different rides and a bunch of
- 1:24:58different wait times and we're going to spin the wheel and, you
- 1:25:03know, do I? Do.
- 1:25:05Some random, yeah, we're going to do some random ones and see,
- 1:25:09you know, is this ride or show worth whatever the wait time is
- 1:25:13that it comes up. So I'll have a little fun with
- 1:25:15that. I love that.
- 1:25:17I love that. I don't know if anybody's on
- 1:25:19that one. Yeah, I don't.
- 1:25:21I don't think so. But we're gonna, we're gonna try
- 1:25:22it. We'll see what happens.
- 1:25:24Yeah, for sure. Tomorrow night we are live at
- 1:25:26Magic Kingdom. Saturday is also live at Magic
- 1:25:29Kingdom. I don't do that often, but I had
- 1:25:31some reason and I'm just gonna stick with it.
- 1:25:33Magic Kingdom. Magic Kingdom is what we're
- 1:25:36doing. I put a lot of thought to
- 1:25:37scheduling and that's what I came up with last week.
- 1:25:40I can't remember. I can't remember why.
- 1:25:43The only possible reason I can think of at the moment is if if
- 1:25:48Disney pulled a fast one on us again where they're gonna close
- 1:25:52at 9. Let me look.
- 1:25:55I'm looking right now. Yeah.
- 1:25:56No, Nope. They they moved it.
- 1:25:59They did OK, good. They did.
- 1:26:01They did move it again. Wait a minute.
- 1:26:03No, no, no, I lied. Nope.
- 1:26:04It's 9. So we've got a short night at
- 1:26:06Magic Kingdom, so I will. So I feel like we can get more
- 1:26:10out of Magic Kingdom on Saturdays, and they actually
- 1:26:14close at 11. So let's go.
- 1:26:16Let's go on that. You know, in the following week,
- 1:26:21I'll decide what I have to do. I can only do so not so many
- 1:26:249:00 Magic Kingdoms, you know. I know I wish they would change
- 1:26:29that, but and, and why did you get, I guess because of crowds?
- 1:26:33I was going to say, why did you get lucky last weekend?
- 1:26:35It was 11, but that was probably to do with the crowds.
- 1:26:40Who told me? Did I figure that out?
- 1:26:42My I figured it out myself. I think so, yeah.
- 1:26:45I texted you, I don't, I don't, I don't know if you knew or I or
- 1:26:47it was news to you when I said it.
- 1:26:49I might even have just been on the monorail and I was just
- 1:26:51looking and I was like, oh shoot, it's 11 so.
- 1:26:54I think you told me. Yeah, cuz I, I, I, yeah, cuz
- 1:26:57leading up to that I was like, oh, I don't know, I'll walk,
- 1:27:00I'll just walk back to the TTC or something like that.
- 1:27:03And wouldn't you know when we left on Wednesdays after like
- 1:27:0811:30 at night, the monorail was a walk on.
- 1:27:13Wow, that's a rare. So Disney.
- 1:27:18Was 11 probably. Yeah, Disney would rather corral
- 1:27:23thousands of people squeezing out of Magic Kingdom and and
- 1:27:29squeezing every morsel of skin of people in both directions of
- 1:27:33both monorails, the buses and the boat, the ferries, like
- 1:27:39corral them. It's it's nuts how busy it is
- 1:27:42out there rather than even if you close at 10, it's still,
- 1:27:46it's going to cut that crowd in probably half.
- 1:27:49Yeah. And people can leave sooner.
- 1:27:51To me it's just been much easier to just take a nice relaxing
- 1:27:54walk back to. The TTC, yeah, I've enjoyed
- 1:27:59that. I think most of the most of the
- 1:28:01viewers have enjoyed that as well.
- 1:28:04Yeah. So we'll do it again tomorrow.
- 1:28:05We'll do it again tomorrow. We'll we'll peruse our way
- 1:28:07around the resorts a little bit as we work our way back to the
- 1:28:11TTC. So we'll do that and I'll be out
- 1:28:14there on Saturdays again with Tammy and Jacob and yeah, we'll
- 1:28:20take what the park gives us and you know, we'll probably sign
- 1:28:22off somewhere close to midnight. We'll do all the shopping and
- 1:28:26blah, blah, blah and have a good time with that.
- 1:28:28So that's what's upcoming on the channel.
- 1:28:32I like it. So tomorrow night I'll mention
- 1:28:36that Lily's life, our friend Lily's life is doing her deep
- 1:28:42dive or Let's Go Ride series, continuing that with Pirates of
- 1:28:48the Caribbean tomorrow night. So you can watch on Disney
- 1:28:53streams on dsn.disneystreams.com.
- 1:28:56You could be watching us and watch Lily's life.
- 1:29:00Then they're going to put out a POV of pirates and then at the
- 1:29:04end they're going to redirect everybody over to living in Diz
- 1:29:07anyway. So yeah, make sure to watch to
- 1:29:10watch both of us at the same time on dsn.disneystreams.com.
- 1:29:15And then, you know, you'd be able to support Lily and her
- 1:29:20efforts with her with her new show.
- 1:29:22And then come on, come on back and watch us.
- 1:29:26Yeah. Listen to Lily.
- 1:29:27Let me know. Yeah, listen to Lily.
- 1:29:29You know, you can watch me at the same time, listen to Lily,
- 1:29:32because she probably has more important things to say than I
- 1:29:34do. So do that, and then just come
- 1:29:37back to me. Yeah, do that.
- 1:29:40So thank you all for joining us. I think that was great.
- 1:29:43Great episode with Cruise and theme park guide.

- 1:29:58us, or again watch on the multi view and watch multiple Disney
- 1:30:03Streamer Network channels at one time.
- 1:30:06Sounds fantastic. I like that he just created a
- 1:30:10new word. Oh yes.
- 1:30:14You know, it goes way back to when I first started doing it
- 1:30:17and Jacob was like, dad, everything you had DIZ, you
- 1:30:21know, on the back of everything. And then you Fast forward a year
- 1:30:25or two later, you know, I'm talking to Pete one night on the
