- 0:00M m m m m h. Welcome inside the tree House. It is
- 0:31time to leave your worries outside and come laugh with us. I'm Daniel Malley
- 0:37along with Trade Trenholm. And as soon as uh Raj can get Spectrum up
- 0:42and running back at his house, he'll be on or he won't, We'll
- 0:48just it'll be a nice surprise. If he is, we'll just We're just
- 0:50gonna wait and see what happens. You join us because we don't know either.
- 0:57Yeah, it'll be a fun surprise for our Yeah. If you did
- 1:04not get a chance to listen to Treehouse Plus number twenty eight, I highly
- 1:07recommend you do. So came out a little bit later than it normally does
- 1:12this week, but it's still out there. And before we jump into the
- 1:19rest of this Friday episode of the Treehouse, it's important that we touch on
- 1:26something that we touched a lot on in the Treehouse Plus episode, and that
- 1:30is Trey's addictions. Trey has just short of a plethora of addictions that he
- 1:37has given up over the years, and in that episode we talked about five
- 1:42that he's given up. There's a sixth that there's a possible if they can
- 1:47figure out a treatment program for it. He may explore it to understand and
- 1:51know what that is. Then you need to go listen to the Treehouse plus
- 1:53episode. But based on the TV show recommendation you just gave me and my
- 1:59wife, I believe we now have a seventh addiction for you, Trey Okay,
- 2:05and that is documentaries. You are inside this here Treehouse the documentarian expert.
- 2:15If there is a documentary about something, you know it. You've seen
- 2:19it, you've listened to it, you've watched it, you have consumed it.
- 2:23I think you've reached the end of all the Netflix documentary all the Netflix
- 2:28documentaries, because now you're starting to recommend ones that you're seeing on other platforms.
- 2:34So what's the one that you just told me about. Uh, it's
- 2:37called It's Uh. It's on Disney Hulu. It's called Billy and Molly and
- 2:40Otter Love Story. Is this a Is this an animated no or is this
- 2:49a live action? It's a documentary of a about a man who It's in
- 2:55Shetland, England, which I did not know. This is is the northernmost
- 3:00tip of England, right below the Arctic Circle. And it's about this orphaned
- 3:07daughter that shows up on his peer jetty as they call it. And it's
- 3:15just it really is. It is eighty minutes of just heartwarming, sweet you
- 3:22know, you laugh a little, you might shed a tear, but it's
- 3:24a happy ending. It's it's just very few times like most of the documentaries
- 3:30I watch are like murders, you know, mass murders and stuff, or
- 3:32ancient civilizations. This one was just it's just a sweet, nice, you
- 3:38know, eighty minutes of you just feel good at the end and put the
- 3:45eighty minutes of wholesome yes, which is probably a nice break given all the
- 3:50murder and horrific stuff that you typically watch in documentaries. Yeah, yeah,
- 3:54I mean I have, you're at I've even subscribed to there's a an app
- 4:05a channel it's I don't even know. I think it's gaya g A I
- 4:10A and it's all about it's just nothing. But documentary is a lot about
- 4:14you know, ancient civilizations, and there's I don't get into the UFO stuff
- 4:17a lot, but I am I am starting to think that, y know,
- 4:27our archaeology has not been forthcoming on you know that there really was another
- 4:32civilization pre Ice Age. Uh you think archaeologists know this and there's been an
- 4:39archaeological conspiracy to cover up a civilization pre Ice Age. Yes, because it
- 4:46it it it, it's been. I'm done. That's it's that's too much
- 4:54for me to handle by myself. It's please come in here. The trays
- 5:00going full conspiracy, and I feel like I'm outmanned well as we as the
- 5:06science gets and we're dating things better, like we know that we there were
- 5:13civilizations, you know, nine to eleven thousand years ago. Now if you
- 5:17really archaeology, you know, has this go about five thousand BC is where
- 5:21everything kind of starts. But we know there is, we've dated, we
- 5:26found the remains, and it also goes to the pyramids are always the one
- 5:32thing such complex engineering, Yeah, you know, and it's like where to
- 5:38believe that people only went, you know, went from agriculture to building pyramids
- 5:44of incredibly complex engineering and just the size of it. You're right because it
- 5:49is. It is an interesting leap to make where you're going from you know,
- 5:54farmers to basically huge stone metropolis is in the middle of the desert.
- 6:02Not only is it an enormous feat of engineering, but who had the idea,
- 6:09like like there's always there's always got to be that guy who had the
- 6:12thought. One day, he was hoe in the desert sand trying to plant
- 6:15some opium or something for his family, and he decides one day he looks
- 6:20up towards the sky and says, you know what, and he looks around
- 6:24the field, He looks around the desert and says, you know what,
- 6:27this place is missing the big old pyramid. And no one eve knew what
- 6:30a pyramid was at that time, but some guy had a thought or like
- 6:33you've been saying throughout the entire history of this Treos podcast, they had a
- 6:39little help from above well, or that there was just there was another civilization
- 6:46that because think about it, the pyramids, you know, so many of
- 6:48them line up, you know there, whether it be the solstice or there's
- 6:54always there is an astronomical uh, you know, lining up of things that
- 7:00how did they know? And also the pyramids aren't just like there's caverns,
- 7:08there's chambers. It's not like they're just solid built. I mean, yeah,
- 7:12if they were just building trying, you know, pyramids with that were
- 7:15solid maybe a different story. But then you also, what did they say.
- 7:19It's like they had for the timeline that they've suggested that they were setting
- 7:25two and a half ton stones once a minute for twenty years. I don't
- 7:32think there was enough slave labor at the time to really get that done.
- 7:38Well, they have found, you know, the that it wasn't even so
- 7:42much slave labor that you know that they're encampments that were obviously home to thousands,
- 7:47tens of thousands of people. But that's a lot. And you also
- 7:51have to remember the pyramids in their day had this shiny white stone. They're
- 7:57not like they are today that's decayed, but they were, you know,
- 8:01almost white. They were smooth. Yeah, they were smooth and shiny and
- 8:05white and you know are off white, I guess. But if you see
- 8:11the renderings, but I mean it's just it's there's just I think there's more
- 8:16out there. And but you think about it when you go back, if
- 8:20you start resetting dates and going, yeah, well if if what they say
- 8:24was five thousand years ago years ago was actually seven eight thousand years ago,
- 8:28it changes the timeline of everything. Yeah, and then you and then you
- 8:31there's a religious aspect of it too that gets it's a little dicey mm hm.
- 8:37Yeah. People start wigging out once you start to throwing and questioning the
- 8:39timeline of Jesus and stuff. Well, this goes back to the the Great
- 8:46you know there we know there was a great flood. But you know,
- 8:48if if you the Bible technically, yeah, they would say six thousand years
- 8:54ago, when we know it was more eleven thousand years ago. So you've
- 8:58got five thousand years missing. And that's where the documentaries you watch come into
- 9:03play. Yeah, and just and and the remarkable the fact that the Mayans
- 9:11Incans incas you know, they the similarities between the Egyptians and some of the
- 9:16stuff they did is remarkable and people don't realize that they had their own.
- 9:22There's you know, a bunch of pyramids and central and uh South America.
- 9:26Yeah, yeah, this is why I uh tyramid in Louisiana and Ohio say
- 9:31that again. Yeah, there's pyramids in the United States in Mississippi. Uh's
- 9:37uh careers, it's eastern Louisiana or Mississippi. But yeah, now they're not
- 9:43great, but they're they're Earth but they're definitely pyramids. And then there's this
- 9:48whole the whole snake thing in Ohio. And see you need to start start
- 9:56with Ancient Apocalypse on Netflix. I don't know if I I don't know,
- 10:00if I don't know, if my little brain can hit it is fascinating.
- 10:03And the guy, uh, I think his name is Graham Norton. He's
- 10:09been on Joe Rogan a bunch and but there's the British TV show host.
- 10:16Now, yeah, it's not Graham Norton. It's Graham something I'll think of
- 10:20in a second. But watch Ancient Apocalypse. It really is. It's it's
- 10:24a fascinating watch. Even if you don't believe a thing of it, you'll
- 10:31at least, you know, learn a little more history than yes, you
- 10:35probably knew now No, no, I might do that. But it also
- 10:39feels like a Pandora's Box type situation. No, that's I mean again,
- 10:46I struggle with it with moderation. So once I get into something, I'm
- 10:50gonna try to soak it all in. You don't have that problem as much.
- 10:54And but you're really Ancient Apocalypse is a fascinating show, just just for
- 10:58the so the different places they take you around the world and and how it
- 11:05was built. I mean some of the the temples and Indonesia and forget the
- 11:13country anyways, all over the world. It's fascinating. Gotcha. It's interesting
- 11:22to think that two influences in my life really want me to watch documentaries.
- 11:30One is you and the other is my mom. Like, she's been on
- 11:35me trying to get me to watch this octopus documentary for over a year.
- 11:39Uh, the one about the friendship between the guy and the octopus. I
- 11:43guess there's I've never really gotten it. I've been meaning to watch that one.
- 11:52I forgot the name of it. But octopus, octopi, octopuses incredibly
- 12:01intelligent. And maybe that's why my mom wants me to watch it. She
- 12:07goes, she said it was fascinating, she loved it. And then and
- 12:11then not long after that, you came to visit and you're like, oh,
- 12:13you got to watch this documentary. You gotta watch this documentary. I'm
- 12:16like, I used to watch I used to actually watch the History Channel what
- 12:18it was about history, because I liked that. I like watching that stuff.
- 12:22But I haven't gone all the way down the rabbit hole that you have,
- 12:28Like I have a tendency to focus more on things that are a lot
- 12:33more surface oriented. Maybe it's because I dealt with so much crap for a
- 12:37handful of years. I'm just I'm trying to lean in on more lighthearted things.
- 12:43In fairness to me, one of the reasons why I have always had
- 12:46a fascination with Egyptian archaeology is I got to see the King tut exhibit when
- 12:54it first came through in like nineteen eighty. It was at the Dallas Museum
- 12:58of Art, and I had my grandmother took me about books and everything else.
- 13:05So that's what kind of sparked my interest in the subject. This is
- 13:09interesting. I'm starting to realize something both fascinating and terrifying. Are you ready,
- 13:16Trey, Uh huh okay? Documentaries history, and I'm trying to think.
- 13:30I'm trying to think of how to phrase this for you, and not
- 13:31just for you, but for me as well. So your interests documentaries,
- 13:39history, and watching TV are very similar to someone else in my life.
- 13:46And that other person in my life is my mom. And so I am
- 13:50now starting to think that perhaps you might be one another's soulmate. And I
- 13:58will tell you this, Trey, I have known no crazier woman in my
- 14:03life then my mother. You guys might be meant for one another. You
- 14:09can sit and watch documentaries about ancient civilizations and go crazy on each other until
- 14:16one of you is murdered by the other one. And you know what,
- 14:22Trey, I'm gonna be honest with you. I think I'm okay with it.
- 14:28It feels weird to say it, it feels even it feels weird to
- 14:33think it, But I think I think I would endorse this. You know,
- 14:37uh, Dan, there there would have to be a you know,
- 14:43I think you're now at this point trying to pawn your mom off on me,
- 14:46and which you know, if if you want to break from that crazy,
- 14:50I'll swap you. We're not swapping moms. No, we can start
- 14:56a whole new reality TV show swap I don't want my name anywhere near that.
- 15:07I'm honestly a little bit worried about you that you even said that out
- 15:11loud compared to what I said. I nothing, you know, just just
- 15:18dealing with with the old and crazy. Yeah, although it wouldn't make a
- 15:24good T shirt. You just with just a quote you want to swap moms.
- 15:33You're listening to The Treehouse. Visit us online at Treehouse on air dot
- 15:37com. Let's get Daniel Cook from cook DFW Roofing and Restoration into the Treehouse
- 15:52for your free roof inspection and property walk about. That's it's uh, we're
- 15:56work shopping that title, so let's not hold him to it. Give the
- 16:00man a call eight three three Cook DFW the website cookdfw dot com. You've
- 16:04mentioned this before, Daniel, I want to hit it again because I think
- 16:07it's such a great service that you're offering your clients, and these aren't necessarily
- 16:11your existing clients that have paid you for work before. This is something you
- 16:14can do for anybody that wants you to come out and take a look around
- 16:18their property in addition to the roof, things around the property that may need
- 16:22some attention that I like initially said we're kind of referring to as the cook
- 16:26DFW walk about. Yeah, Dan, I think it's a great service.
- 16:30It gives a homeowner a chance to look at their home from a point of
- 16:33view that they're not familiar with. So yeah, everybody comes out and looks
- 16:37at rus. We are here that there's ten thousand roofing companies, but a
- 16:41lot of those guys they don't know how to do a lot of the other
- 16:44items around the home. So you're chimney siding that gets very common to get
- 16:48old and brittle and starts cracking off. So those cup of things, your
- 16:52garage door, trim your garage door itself, items you know, including you
- 16:57know, around your brick. You have more to cracks that start happening around
- 17:00windows, a ceiling may not the ceiling may not be there anymore. They're
- 17:06just on and on screens. You know. If you like to open up
- 17:07your windows and you got holes in your screens, you're gotta eight tons of
- 17:10bugs in there. So these are things we get the owner a kind of
- 17:12an assessment. It's a visual We write everything down. We give them a
- 17:17written report. It's very similar. It has red, green and yellow on
- 17:19it. It lets them know what needs to be addressed, what doesn't,
- 17:22and then that way they can have an estimate. If they like to have
- 17:26someone those items done, then that will be great. We can have all
- 17:27those items done and get them taken care of. But at least they won't
- 17:30have to wait until something bad happens before they figure out that they have some
- 17:34you know, some problems. Yeah, And like I said, it's such
- 17:37a great service, and especially great because you're offering that for free for people.
- 17:41So I can't recommend COOKDFW roofing and Restoration enough to you have them come
- 17:48out, look around the property and do everything that Daniel just said. Give
- 17:52the man a call right now eight three to three cook dfw eight three three
- 17:56Cook dfw or that website cookdfw dot com. You're in the treehouse, visit
- 18:03us online at Treehouseonair dot com. This segment of the Treehouse burrough to you
- 18:10buy COOKDFW Roofing and Restoration for your free roof inspection. Give Daniel Cook a

- 18:37they can help you out at Cookdfwroofing and Restoration again the website cookdfw dot
- 18:41com. Well, I don't know if there's any way to truly come back
- 18:45from trying to get you trade to date my mind. Okay, let me
- 18:52clarify this. I'm not saying I want you to date my mom I'm just
- 18:55saying that you guys might be really good for one another. I I just
- 19:03go back to the old. That's all you have to say that there's really
- 19:12nothing else that needs to be said. And yet yet it says everything.
- 19:18That Jack Nicholson line of you know so crazy somewhere else, I'm I'm all
- 19:22stocked up here. I thought you were going for the line in as good
- 19:29as it gets, like You're gonna go to dinner with my mom and tell
- 19:30her you make me want to be a better man. No, but that's
- 19:37all from the same movie, I believe, and the other my other favorite
- 19:41line of how do you write women so well? Take away reason and accountability?
- 19:47Take a man, You take a man? That is That's a movie
- 19:52that deserves a rewatch. It's been a while since I had that was that
- 19:56was the man. He had some He had some as as as the old
- 20:00would say, he had some real hum dingers in that movie. He did.
- 20:03That was You take a many, easy and accountability, and you're left
- 20:14with the with the Trey's idea for a fun Friday night. All right,
- 20:18today is fred Day, May seventeenth, twoy twenty four. Before we can
- 20:26get into the rest of the show, which will include things like anti sex
- 20:30beds, road rages out, but sidewalk rages in, and bodies piling up
- 20:36in Florida. We must first get to birthdays, so celebrating birthdays today on
- 20:42fred Day, May seventeenth, twenty twenty four, we will begin with Levin
- 20:48Rambin. Do not know her name as as a person, but she is
- 20:53thirty four today. I do know her as Glimmer in the first Hunger Games
- 20:59movie. Tray know if you saw any of the Hunger Games movies, but
- 21:02for those that have, she is the one that Catnus kills with the tracker
- 21:07Jackers in the first movie. Okay, so good. I have actually seen
- 21:12the Hunger Games movies. I did not see the new prequel one, but
- 21:17I highly recommended it was actually really really really good. Yeah, Tara and
- 21:19I went to the theater and saw that one. That was that was a
- 21:22lot of fun. So anyway, she is thirty four today. Other birthdays
- 21:29today where I put it, We've got Derek Huff from Dancing with the Stars.
- 21:33He is thirty nine. He actually has won the show six times with
- 21:40here are his dance partners. Okay, so it's not a bad day of
- 21:44work for him, Brooke Burke, Nicole Scherzinger, Jennifer Gray, Kelly Pickler,
- 21:49Amber Riley from Glee, and Bendy Irwin, which was Crocodile Hunter Steve
- 21:55Irwin's daughter, and he probably banged at least three of them. Yep,
- 22:04that's really that was all the while, you know, being in the shadow
- 22:11of your hotter sister. Yeah, I think that should have been the alternate
- 22:15title of Dancing with the Stars is Banging the Stars? Yeah, wasn't that.
- 22:19But aren't they twins? Are they? Are they twins? Oh?
- 22:23Derek Huff and his sister. I I don't know if they you know what,
- 22:29I'm going to assume that they're not, because if they were, then
- 22:30her birthday would be next on this on my lisp. That's true. Retired
- 22:36NBA star Tony Parker is forty two frenchy mm hmmm, uh, Trey,
- 22:42you want to you want to do a quick degrees of Kevin Bacon game to
- 22:48Tony Parker. All right, here we go, So there's okay, you
- 22:52want to try it? Go for it? Oh, all right, Kevin
- 22:56Bacon link link yourself, actually take got the Kevin Bacon thing. Link yourself
- 23:02to to Tony Parker in as many as few steps as you could imagine,
- 23:08uh, because I call it doing the Kevin Bacon game. But it's really
- 23:14it's for yourself with certain celebrities. I mean, I'm sure I've met someone
- 23:18who's met Eva Longoria that m hmm. If you have Tony Parker to uh,
- 23:26it's actually a very short path to get you Trey to Tony Parker via
- 23:30Ava Longoria. So if I told you at the start of today you would
- 23:37have a your odds of meeting Ava Longoria would be better than Tony Parker,
- 23:42would you have believed me? Say, you know it helps? No?
- 23:49Okay, thank you? Uh so to get you to Tony Parker via Ava
- 23:53Longoria? You Trey no Tone bell our buddy Tone and Tone was in a
- 24:00movie with Ava Longoria who was married to Tony Parker. See, these games
- 24:04are really easy now that we have someone that's actually successful in the Hollywood.
- 24:07They're all only like one step away. Which, by the way, did
- 24:11you see that photo Tone posted the other day after the Netflix is a Joke
- 24:14Festival? Oh my god, I let me see if I can pull this
- 24:21up real quick. So they do. At the end of the Netflix is
- 24:26a joke festival. They do sort of a yearbook photo of all the comedians
- 24:30that performed and all these various shows. It's a comedy festival in La right,
- 24:34and Tone on his Instagram page and probably all of this pages posted the
- 24:44photo of him because he participated. And then Netflix is a joke festival,
- 24:48all the comedians that had performed, and he's in the middle of all these
- 24:52comedians, right, And I can show you the photo. It's going to
- 24:59be difficult to show all of them because he decided he did he he did
- 25:03a wears Waldo. He he wears Waldo himself. So in this photo at
- 25:08this you know house somewhere in la in a pool, you've got Burt Kreischer
- 25:15in the pool shirtless, but then surrounded you when you find Tone, and
- 25:22then you find all the people in this photo. You've got people like Sindbad,
- 25:30Jim Gaffigan, Judd Apatow, hang on, it swiped too far.
- 25:36Uh, let's see you go again. Is that Bert Kreischer in the Is
- 25:40this the one like he's shirtless in the pool? Yep, that's the one.
- 25:44Okay. Then Uh, then you've also got, oh man, some
- 25:48of these people, and I can't even recall their names, but I recognize
- 25:52all their faces. Uh. Roastmaster General Jeffrey Ross is in there. I
- 25:57believe that Stave that might be Dave Chappelle. You've also got John Stewart is
- 26:03in there. Basically he's surrounded by a ton of famous people and our buddy
- 26:11Tones in the middle of it. So if you ever want to do the
- 26:12Kevin Bacon game with yourself, all you gotta do is just is just name
- 26:15drop tone and you're good. Now. That is I. I gotta put
- 26:19my glasses on to really study that picture. But damn, that's impressive.
- 26:23Mm hmm that that would be. Hey, there's poll Shore, So it's
- 26:27not all a listers that I'll be curious to ask tone because that for me,
- 26:34like it seems like that would be like a pinch yourself moment of you
- 26:37know, holy shit. Oh absolutely, And he even even put that in
- 26:42the caps and he said, straight up bucketless moment for me, it's too
- 26:45much funny in this class of twenty four yearbook photo to possibly tag everyone.
- 26:48But if you see him, tag him in the comments. Yeah, Chelsea
- 26:52Handler, Sebastian Manascalo's in there. I mean, it's it really is a
- 26:57who's who of comedians and it's and then then there's the guy we know in
- 27:03the middle of all of it, and occasionally he hangs out with us.
- 27:08We hope he did a couple of weeks ago after this photo. He may
- 27:12not be more. He's like, right, I'm I hanging it out with
- 27:15you, ye idiots. Other birthdays today inside the Treehouse, Jordan Knight,
- 27:19you ready to feel old? Trey Okay, the good looking one from New
- 27:25Kids on the Block. He is fifty four today and separated by only five
- 27:30years. Trent Resnor from Nine Inch Nails is fifty nine. It's just weird
- 27:36to me to think that Jordan Knight and Trent Resnor you might see them at
- 27:40an Early Bird special somewhere because maybe they also are our members, you know,
- 27:47I Jordan Night, because New Kids still tour. I think I've at
- 27:52least seen some videos with with all of them, and it's Trey. It's
- 27:56a fine line between touring and panhandling. Well, I just I was reading
- 28:03one thing talking that uh they were like, you know, the crowd has
- 28:07retired justin Timberlake, because I guess his last tour just bombed. Really,
- 28:12Yeah, I mean, I I think he's incredibly talented, but I didn't
- 28:18even know he had had a tour recently. Well, I mean it held
- 28:25like the recent tours i've that have been on my radar. If it's not
- 28:29that, and I say my radar, like it's just been Taylor hitting my
- 28:33eyeballs, it's it's either Taylor Swift, Beyonce or or or I know that
- 28:40that Kenny Chesney's on tour right now. That's about all I see. So
- 28:42it's like, if not one of the if you're not making a billion dollars
- 28:47in your tour, then I guess they're all a flop. Yeah, that's
- 28:52I mean, it's like there's Taylor Swift and then kind of everyone else mm
- 28:56hmm. But I guess she just wrapped up her I was reading that she
- 29:02wrapped up her arras to her in Paris and there was a lot of love
- 29:06signs between her and Travis. Oh really Yeah. I also heard that at
- 29:10one of the Paris shows, someone took a photo of one of the concert
- 29:14goers baby on the floor of the concert. Well there's you know, but
- 29:21you know they had earmuffs on. Yeah. So at Trent Resner fifty nine,
- 29:27ya is sixty three, Sugar Ray Leonard is sixty eight, and if
- 29:33I remember correctly, fort Worth's own Bill Paxton. Today is his birthday,
- 29:37but he had his life cut way too short. All the way back in
- 29:41twenty seventeen. Bill Paxton one of the greatest character actors of all time in
- 29:47Hollywood. I'm gonna give you a quick rundown of some of the films that
- 29:51he was in, and he was memorable in all of these, right,
- 29:56Terminator, Weird Science, Remember he played Jet. Yeah, that's that's where
- 30:03I first I remember seeing Bill Paxton. Yeah, he was phenomenal in that
- 30:07Aliens of course, true lies. I got a little dick. It's pathetic.
- 30:17Apollo thirteen Twister, which the remake comes out later this year. I
- 30:21believe it looks soft did yeah Twisters, But yeah, it looks it.
- 30:26I didn't know how they were going to do it, but it looks really
- 30:30good. Look that up. I don't think i've seen that yet. He
- 30:33was also in Titanic Tombstone, of course, as one of the Irp brothers,
- 30:38and he was also in Edge of Tomorrow. Edge of Tomorrow is one
- 30:41of those movies that if you haven't seen it, I try to tell people
- 30:44you should see it, even if you hate Tom Cruise. It's one of
- 30:47his best movies. It's the one with him and Emily Blunt and he gets
- 30:52stuck in a time loop in a war slash battle with aliens. I don't
- 30:59think I think I under that movie, and I don't think I finished it.
- 31:00You should, all right, unless, of course you hated it so
- 31:03much you didn't want to know. But I don't. It's one of those
- 31:06movies that to me it it's like I said to me, it's one of
- 31:08his best films. I will put it on my list a tray. I'm
- 31:19gonna let you choose your own adventure here. No right, anti sex beds
- 31:26or sidewalk rage. Mmm, I'll go with anti sex beds. I'm curious
- 31:37about anti sex beds. It is uh, stop it, you stupid pop
- 31:45ups, just myths. Go away. New York Post anti sex beds have
- 31:48arrived in Paris for the Olympics after horning athletes admitted to orgies a mid competition.
- 31:55Okay, every well, now that the Olympics are staggered between winter and
- 32:04summer Olympics every two years, every couple of years, these stories pop up
- 32:07where you hear about all the sex that happens between athletes in different nations because
- 32:13they've all been abstaining or whatever. They've been, you know, hardcore training
- 32:16for all their events, and you get all these young, really healthy,
- 32:22fit people in one small area and they all start hooking up, either before
- 32:30competitions, maybe deering in some people's cases, but definitely after their competitions are
- 32:35done. They just go crazy in the athlete's village, and Paris is trying
- 32:38to get ahead of it. Which, yeah, if you think beds are
- 32:45the only place they're doing it, you haven't read some of the stories I've
- 32:49read. Yeah, the pole vault this year is going to be really fun
- 32:52to live. Yeah, I remember, I guess it was all the way
- 32:59back in the when Atlanta had the Olympics and what was that ninety six yep
- 33:05of reading about that, you know, especially I forgot who it was,
- 33:09but one of the athletes you know that competed and finished early and there was
- 33:15a story written about and you just talked about just it was a free for
- 33:20all that. Especially once they're done. It's like, you know, and
- 33:24they have all you know, they're all of the same mindset because Olympic sports
- 33:28are different, and that most of them are not very commercial. And so
- 33:31you have been You've dedicated your whole entire life twenty four to seven, three
- 33:36sixty five to competing, and then when you're done, it's like you've got
- 33:40a lot of pin up things. And both the guys and girls and they
- 33:45they said, it's almost as easy. You want to Yeah, you hot,
- 33:50I'm hot, let's do yeah, let's say. Anti sex beds have
- 33:53arrived in Paris ahead of the twenty twenty four Olympic Games, with their materials
- 33:59and small size allegedly aimed at deterring athletes from getting kinki during competition. The
- 34:05bed's twin size means there's no room for the competitors to sidle up together.
- 34:10How many people do you know do it side by side. The beds are
- 34:14manufactured by Airwave, which also made the products for the twenty twenty Olympic Games
- 34:17in Tokyo, so this is not a new thing that they're trying to deter
- 34:22the athletes. Sustainability is cited as the primary reason why Olympic officials opted for
- 34:28the beds this year. The mattresses and cardboard frames one hundred percent recyclable,
- 34:35but it's unlikely cardboard beds will stop the horny Olympians from fornicating, with one
- 34:38competitor claiming a hot tub orgy took place at one Olympics, and another news
- 34:45outlet cites a US two Another news outlets cited a US two time gold medalist
- 34:52as saying quote, I've seen people having sex right out in the open on
- 34:55the grass between buildings. People are getting down and dirty. They so they
- 35:00put fifty five gallon drums full of condoms in the Olympic village and it goes
- 35:08empty. They have to refill it. Where's where's the medal ceremony for that
- 35:15event? That's like your your national anthem deserves to be played and everyone needs
- 35:20to see that you got the gold and silver. And Michael Phelps I think
- 35:27has the record for the most medals. But it was like, okay,
- 35:30well, who's the Wilt Chamberlain of the Olympics. That's that's a stat I
- 35:34think we need to know. Being that he competed in four or five,
- 35:39he may have the record, you know, I don't think okay, as
- 35:44far as number of Olympics, I'm sure that he had his turns. But
- 35:50because of the swimming stuff. They do those events, and he did so
- 35:53many of them. He was he was competing throughout the Olympics. He may
- 35:57not have had time to really enjoy all the all the fruits of the Olympic
- 36:05village. I think the person that you need to take a look at as
- 36:07far as who might have betted the most fellow Olympians is gonna be someone from
- 36:12some rant. That guy that walked in shirtless, covered in oil was that
- 36:17was? That was that the Tonguan from a couple of Olympics. Back that
- 36:22guy because I don't think he medled. He had one competition, no medal,
- 36:24so he had plenty of free time and he made an impact at the
- 36:28opening ceremony. I'm gonna bet that guy is the champion, Yeah, or
- 36:31just whoever whoever competes in the sport that that finishes like they do the first
- 36:37part of the Olympics. Yeah, whether it's like a sprint sprinter or diver
- 36:40or something and they're they're just hanging out for the next two weeks. Yeah,
- 36:44you're right there. Yeah. And that guy, that guy came ready,
- 36:45he came already oiled up in half dress or the visit us online a

- 37:23do certain things, don't you? I do, And even I too have
- 37:28to suffer fools from time to time. I don't know if it's harder for
- 37:30me or if it's easier. I'm well informed, so I can kind of
- 37:35see things when I'm being told stuff when it feels too much like a sales
- 37:38ploy. And I had an HVAC technician in a house that I take care
- 37:44of trying to sell me fifteen thousand dollars worth of new equipment. Shortly after
- 37:49he left. The tenant was like, oh, I figured out the problem,
- 37:52I fixed it, and I ended up only paying their dispatch fee and
- 37:57never needing that full system or place. Smith. I have to repeat over
- 38:00and over and over again. We're not a commission company and we're not going

- 39:16the Tongan became an overnight sensation five years ago when he marched shirtless in a
- 39:22traditional Tonguan costume at the opening ceremony of the twenty sixteen Rio Games. I'm
- 39:29not that bad at math. This story is from July twenty twenty one.
- 39:32Okay, so this story from July twenty twenty one. Peter the Tongan became
- 39:37an overnight sensation wearing a traditional Tonguan costume at the opening ceremony of the twenty
- 39:43sixteen Rio Games, then again two years later at the twenty eighteen Winter Games
- 39:47in South Korea, and then back in twenty twenty one, he marched in
- 39:53Tokyo at his third Olympiad, where he competed in taekwondo. I don't even
- 40:00know what he did in the Winter Games in South Korea, but he was
- 40:02the only one I think from Tonga. He was the flag bearer at that
- 40:07twenty sixteen Rio Olympics. That he became, you know, an overnight since
- 40:12overnight global sensation, and so yeah, that'd be that that right, there
- 40:15would be my pick for the guy that has probably got the most action at
- 40:19the Olympics. Yeah, what does a Tongan do in the Winter Olympics.
- 40:28The other skiers, he's probably he's probably a sniffing around the Super g Hill.
- 40:37Yeah, but yeah, it says that in this story from the New
- 40:43York Times he took up taekwondo as a child. So I then, so
- 40:51he did that, But I'm I don't see what he did in the Winter
- 40:55Olympics. But I am really curious other than you know, fellow Olympians.
- 41:01Yeah, yeah, maybe he got such rave reviews in Summer Olympics they had
- 41:07to have him. All right, I'll try to look that up to see
- 41:13what what what event he did in the Winter Olympics actual event, And we
- 41:24don't want to in a Friday show before we of course dig up a story
- 41:30from Florida. The search for a missing diver off the Florida coast took a
- 41:37surprising turn when authorities found a different body. Look, this is sad.
- 41:46Someone's missing and they find someone who's already dead. Two that's two people that
- 41:52are that are in serious trouble and two grieving families. But come on,
- 41:55Florida, they're just stacking them up kind of embarrassing. It's like, Okay,
- 42:05we have to go find this missing person, but in order to do
- 42:07it, we have to wade through all these other dead people that to get
- 42:10to find them. Oh. Search teams combing the Florida coast for a diver
- 42:19who went missing found a male body, but authorities said that wasn't the one
- 42:22they were looking for. Authority said they did not know yet the identity of
- 42:30the man they did pull from the water. Sheriff said they didn't have any
- 42:34missing person description in the county matching the body they found. They said it
- 42:38did not appear the body was in the water for an extended period. Medical
- 42:42examiners were working to determine the cause an approximate time of death. But Virgil
- 42:46Price, the Florida Free Driver, the Florida Free diver who went missing thirty
- 42:52nine years old, was last seen wearing a green wet suit and he was
- 42:57free diving near the Halsey shipwreck when he failed to resurface. Halsey is a
- 43:02World War Two era shipwreck. So they were looking for Virgil and they found
- 43:10somebody else that's yet to be identified. God, Florida, I mean and
- 43:17how do I how does the diver even know? Like, oh, oh,
- 43:22well, that's not who I was looking for. I at least I
- 43:24guess it was nice enough to bring him back up. Hey, you could
- 43:28have just left him there and going, yeah, I didn't see that.
- 43:30You're not sorry, you're not the body I'm looking at. Push it to
- 43:35the side. It does make you think, though, like, since Florida
- 43:37is so prolific and stupid, do they have to have specific search teams for
- 43:43specific missing individuals, Because like, you might be a search team A and
- 43:49you're looking for Bob and instead you find Steve, Like, well, I'm
- 43:53looking for Bob. So you just push Steve to the side and you keep
- 43:55swimming looking for Bob, and then you wait for Steve's team to come along
- 44:00to get him. It's like, go fish with bodies. You uh,
- 44:07you got any Chad's in there? Go fish? Got an Earl? No?
- 44:15But I got a Virgil damn it. And I've got I've got four
- 44:22Michaels ship you win. I hate this game. We could also do the
- 44:32same with Uno in Florida. Yeah, go fishing for bodies Floyd again,
- 44:49very sad, families affected. But look if le me pauses real quick.
- 44:55If it's me, right and and and I go missing in Florida and they
- 45:02find somebody else looking for me, you can laugh about it, all right.
- 45:08And the other side of that can also be true. If I go
- 45:12missing and I have not been found, and they go looking for somebody else
- 45:15and they find me, you can laugh at that. I'm all for it,
- 45:19all right. Just want that out there and in the open. Oh
- 45:22and one other thing I wanted to mention because I saw it earlier this week,
- 45:27the story about the YouTuber who is live streaming while under the influence running
- 45:31over a pedestrian. I said it online, and I'm gonna say it in
- 45:35here now. If that's how I go out, you better avenge me,
- 45:42and at the and at the very least it better hit a million views.
- 45:45Yeah, you better go viral. Yeah yeah, at least at least and
- 45:54still avenge me. But I want at least a million views. There went
- 45:59Dan h I was down and fight for that last punchline. Good. I
- 46:09made it all the way to the bottom and didn't find shit, all right.
- 46:16Thanks for hanging out with us inside the treehouse on a Friday. We
- 46:22appreciate it. We'll see you next time, right here inside the treehouse,
- 46:25I see you
