- 1:04Speaker 3: I have one of your favorites, you know her, you
- 1:06Speaker 3: love her, Kate Casey from Reality Life with Kate Casey.
- 1:11Speaker 3: Welcome back to Juicy Scoop.
- 1:13Speaker 4: Thank you for having me. Love to be here. So
- 1:15Speaker 4: happy to see you.
- 1:16Speaker 3: Thank you. We always have such a good time. We
- 1:18Speaker 3: always have so much to talk about. And we're going
- 1:20Speaker 3: to get right into it because it was a big
- 1:23Speaker 3: weekend for Real Housewives of prisoners. There was another horrible
- 1:30Speaker 3: arrest as far as I think there's going to be
- 1:33Speaker 3: some real time done. This is Real Housewives of Potomac.
- 1:37Speaker 3: One of their most highly educated housewives that we've ever had, Dr. Wendy,
- 1:44Speaker 3: would often say, I have four degrees. She was a
- 1:46Speaker 3: professor at Johns Hopkins. Her husband was a lawyer. So
- 1:53Speaker 3: Wendy and her husband claimed that they came back from
- 1:59Speaker 3: a vacation with their kids in Jamaica to find that
- 2:03Speaker 3: their house had been broken into, but only things were stolen.
- 2:08Speaker 3: Someone came through a bathroom window and got into her
- 2:11Speaker 3: closet and stole jewelry and handbags and items like that.
- 2:17Speaker 3: And then they reported it to the police and their
- 2:22Speaker 3: insurance and went along their way. Then, What they were
- 2:28Speaker 3: arrested for with numerous felonies is insurance fraud and filing
- 2:35Speaker 3: a fake police report. They believe that there was no robbery,
- 2:39Speaker 3: that the crime scene was suspicious. It was like a
- 2:42Speaker 3: screen that was open from the inside or something. And
- 2:46Speaker 3: that in doing the insurance fraud, there was emails going
- 2:52Speaker 3: back and forth between the lawyer husband and the four
- 2:56Speaker 3: degree Wendy. who, by the way, did leave teaching at
- 3:00Speaker 3: John Hopkins to try to sell candles and have her
- 3:04Speaker 3: own talk show, Wendy. Anyway, that saying, what else can
- 3:09Speaker 3: we put on it to get to the maximum $ 423, 000
- 3:13Speaker 3: insurance claim? Busted. They found that there were items that
- 3:18Speaker 3: were on the insurance claim that had already been bought
- 3:22Speaker 3: and returned before the alleged robbery. And then one of
- 3:28Speaker 3: her wedding bands that was on the claim, she proceeded
- 3:33Speaker 3: to wear in posted photos on social media.
- 3:37Speaker 4: That's insane. You know what my first reaction to the
- 3:41Speaker 4: story was? What a fun job to be the investigator
- 3:45Speaker 4: for the insurance company.
- 3:47Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 3:47Speaker 4: You know, when you start to suspect, like you show
- 3:50Speaker 4: up to the crime scene and you're like, I'm not
- 3:51Speaker 4: kind of buying this. And you have to play the
- 3:54Speaker 4: long game.
- 3:55Speaker 5: Right.
- 3:55Speaker 4: And do all the research and ask questions and not
- 3:57Speaker 4: let them know that you're onto them.
- 3:59Speaker 3: Yeah, you can't go right off the bat. I think
- 4:01Speaker 3: you're lying.
- 4:01Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 4:02Speaker 3: It's like, you know, you have to go, exactly, get
- 4:05Speaker 3: them to continue so the case gets stronger and stronger
- 4:09Speaker 3: and stronger. And as it gets stronger and stronger, they're
- 4:11Speaker 3: getting felony after felony after felony after felony. And, I mean,
- 4:16Speaker 3: it looks like.
- 4:17Speaker 4: 16 against her, 18 against him. Okay, so do you
- 4:22Speaker 4: think this is a case of, a housewife that has
- 4:25Speaker 4: been living a smoke and mirrors lifestyle situation feels the
- 4:30Speaker 4: pressure of maintaining this, this persona, this brand, this lifestyle
- 4:37Speaker 4: to be a real housewife? Or do you think it's
- 4:40Speaker 4: her husband having difficulty getting investment because he's got a
- 4:44Speaker 4: cannabis business, which is like, it's hard to get loans
- 4:48Speaker 4: for that kind of business. So do you think it's
- 4:51Speaker 4: more because of his business or lack of business or
- 4:54Speaker 4: it's because of the demands of what the show does
- 5:00Speaker 4: to her brand, her persona?
- 5:03Speaker 3: Sadly, no. I think this is her personality. I think
- 5:05Speaker 3: she's a scammer. I think If they were never on
- 5:09Speaker 3: the show, they would have probably pulled this crime. I
- 5:12Speaker 3: never saw her as a liar or a scammer or
- 5:15Speaker 3: anything like that. She was not one of those people. Like,
- 5:18Speaker 3: I didn't like Jen Shah's persona before she was. I remember.
- 5:21Speaker 3: I just did not like Jen Shah. I just thought
- 5:24Speaker 3: before we ever knew what she did for a living,
- 5:26Speaker 3: she's also doing time for stealing from elderly in a
- 5:30Speaker 3: long scam. And for Real Housewives of Salt Lake City,
- 5:33Speaker 3: in case you guys are like trying to remember all
- 5:35Speaker 3: the criminals. I just thought she thought a little highly
- 5:39Speaker 3: of herself, but I really thought she was an accomplished person.
- 5:44Speaker 3: But she's obviously not smart if she thought she'd get
- 5:46Speaker 3: away with this crime.
- 5:47Speaker 4: Well, clearly. But there are people that now point out
- 5:50Speaker 4: that the story that Wendy told about either this crisis
- 5:54Speaker 4: of vacillating between academia and a career in journalism or
- 5:58Speaker 4: on TV was not accurate.
- 6:02Speaker 3: What are they thinking it is?
- 6:03Speaker 4: That she may not have received tenure or been offered tenure.
- 6:06Speaker 4: So she really didn't have any opportunity to kind of
- 6:09Speaker 4: move up in academia. So she made up this story.
- 6:13Speaker 4: Because when she would go on TV to, you know,
- 6:17Speaker 4: give commentary, that's not a paid position. It didn't really
- 6:20Speaker 4: go anywhere. I think she always wanted to be on TV.
- 6:24Speaker 4: Just be honest.
- 6:24Speaker 3: I mean, I just think it's the same when you,
- 6:26Speaker 3: you know, Emily not being an attorney and like all
- 6:29Speaker 3: these things just because you have it. Like being, once
- 6:32Speaker 3: you get a taste of this fame in the TV
- 6:34Speaker 3: and stuff, You're like, well, this is a lot more fun.
- 6:37Speaker 3: I've gotten some plastic surgery. I feel more confident in
- 6:40Speaker 3: my body. My kids are getting older. Like I could
- 6:43Speaker 3: do this other stuff, which is going to be a
- 6:44Speaker 3: lot less work than actually teaching full on college classes,
- 6:49Speaker 3: grading papers, having to be accountable. Yeah. So I never
- 6:53Speaker 3: thought the fact that she left that I that didn't
- 6:56Speaker 3: make me.
- 6:56Speaker 4: You're like, I don't blame you. Do you really want
- 6:58Speaker 4: to work that hard? Do you want to have all
- 7:00Speaker 4: the syllabus and students and be held accountable?
- 7:03Speaker 3: Yeah, I am actually shocked because I did think that
- 7:06Speaker 3: they were like so on the up and up that
- 7:09Speaker 3: they were so both like highly educated and stuff that
- 7:13Speaker 3: I was sort of I was surprised to see this.
- 7:15Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 7:17Speaker 3: But I wonder, you know, the insurance scam thing, I
- 7:20Speaker 3: just wonder how many people do it. I wonder if
- 7:23Speaker 3: it's harder in certain states. Like I wonder if certain
- 7:28Speaker 3: states are more excited to crack down on it versus
- 7:31Speaker 3: like California. Is there a statue of limitations on this? Like,
- 7:37Speaker 3: you know, could something from four years ago in L.A.
- 7:41Speaker 3: or Encino come up? And then they're like, hmm, we
- 7:45Speaker 3: just were waiting this long to, I don't know. But that,
- 7:50Speaker 3: who knows?
- 7:50Speaker 4: So it makes, the only thing though, I watched the
- 7:54Speaker 4: premiere episode and I sort of winced when she was
- 7:56Speaker 4: talking about her husband's business and she was like, make
- 7:58Speaker 4: him money.
- 8:00Speaker 3: Wait, Potomac has already started to air? Mm-hmm. How many episodes?
- 8:04Speaker 3: That's like two. Oh my God.
- 8:08Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 8:09Speaker 3: Do you think they were waiting on that?
- 8:13Speaker 4: You know, there are conspiracy theorists who do believe there
- 8:16Speaker 4: is some connection. I feel like that would be too
- 8:18Speaker 4: much work.
- 8:21Speaker 3: I think that sometimes producers do have a heads up about...
- 8:25Speaker 3: I saw something, too, that they were like, again, there's
- 8:28Speaker 3: a theory that the producers and stuff did know about
- 8:33Speaker 3: the FBI that day with Jen Shaw.
- 8:34Speaker 4: Jen Shaw, they were tipped off, yeah.
- 8:36Speaker 3: And I don't know.
- 8:37Speaker 4: I just interviewed the... executive producer of Real Housewives of
- 8:41Speaker 4: Salt Lake City and asked her about that moment. But
- 8:45Speaker 4: in her retelling it, it seemed like there are too
- 8:48Speaker 4: many moving parts.
- 8:49Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 8:50Speaker 4: That I don't know.
- 8:51Speaker 3: Getting back to this, she was one of the four
- 8:54Speaker 3: housewives among the franchises who were going to do Real
- 8:56Speaker 3: Housewives swap.
- 8:58Speaker 4: And they pulled it.
- 8:59Speaker 3: Oh, they pulled her episode. And that's why the premiere
- 9:01Speaker 3: is a couple of weeks later.
- 9:02Speaker 4: I think so.
- 9:04Speaker 3: So she's not even going to be on it at all.
- 9:05Speaker 4: I don't think so.
- 9:06Speaker 3: How bummed if you were the normal family that got
- 9:09Speaker 3: to swap with her.
- 9:09Speaker 4: That's the first thing I thought. That's the first thing
- 9:13Speaker 4: I thought. That person is like, okay, I'm going to
- 9:17Speaker 4: be able to tell all my friends from high school
- 9:18Speaker 4: I'm going to be on TV.
- 9:21Speaker 3: So I saw that she did a podcast Zoom interview.
- 9:28Speaker 3: And I apologized to the guy that I don't have
- 9:32Speaker 3: his name.
- 9:33Speaker 6: Oh, no.
- 9:33Speaker 2: She did.
- 9:33Speaker 4: Yeah, she did. She did Gibson's show.
- 9:35Speaker 3: Yes, Gibson.
- 9:36Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 9:37Speaker 3: And so he's asking, you know, because it was out
- 9:40Speaker 3: in the news that she had been robbed. And she
- 9:43Speaker 3: is sitting there talking to him, straight up lying and
- 9:48Speaker 3: talking about it.
- 9:48Speaker 4: But did you see she looked at the floor?
- 9:50Speaker 3: Yeah, there was some, there was definitely some, you know,
- 9:54Speaker 3: if you study lying body language, whatever. Here comes the
- 9:58Speaker 3: OC acting lying to her. lie detector. But she, you know,
- 10:01Speaker 3: he was being nice saying like, oh my God. And,
- 10:03Speaker 3: you know, she went on like everybody, the violation, even
- 10:07Speaker 3: though we weren't there and we came back. And, you know,
- 10:10Speaker 3: there's been no robberies on my street. So I think
- 10:14Speaker 3: it was targeted. Like, she was adding extra lies.
- 10:17Speaker 4: Maybe that actually would have been a piece of the
- 10:19Speaker 4: nail in the coffin.
- 10:20Speaker 3: Like, first of all, like, yeah, if I was lying
- 10:23Speaker 3: about this thing.
- 10:23Speaker 4: He deserves a journalism award for that.
- 10:25Speaker 3: But also, if I was lying about that, I would
- 10:27Speaker 3: be like, hey, you know, you don't know for these things.
- 10:31Speaker 3: You can say, hey, don't ask me about my divorce
- 10:33Speaker 3: or don't ask me about my son in rehab. She
- 10:36Speaker 3: could have said, There's an ongoing investigation with my robbery,
- 10:39Speaker 3: so just don't ask me about that. And she could
- 10:41Speaker 3: have said that before. But no, she got into it
- 10:44Speaker 3: and played into the sympathy.
- 10:46Speaker 4: She did.
- 10:48Speaker 3: And it's just amazing. Ballsy. Yeah. Okay, and I could
- 10:56Speaker 3: be wrong, okay? But allegedly wasn't one of the things
- 11:01Speaker 3: that was a problem with Teresa was.
- 11:06Speaker 3: That, you know, once they were going through, before she
- 11:09Speaker 3: was sentenced to prison, she was not going to have
- 11:11Speaker 3: to go to prison. They did a bankruptcy thing. And
- 11:16Speaker 3: she had to say, here's all my possessions or list
- 11:19Speaker 3: them or something.
- 11:20Speaker 4: I think you do have to do that.
- 11:21Speaker 3: And then somehow she was caught.
- 11:24Speaker 4: Lying?
- 11:24Speaker 3: Yeah, not sharing everything she was supposed to about that.
- 11:28Speaker 3: And if I'm wrong, it's alleged whatever. Something about that,
- 11:32Speaker 3: like she wasn't going to do prison until she again
- 11:35Speaker 3: screwed up on some other thing about her possessions. And
- 11:41Speaker 3: it's like with these possessions, like what are you thinking?
- 11:44Speaker 4: Well, I think you also have to really have good,
- 11:46Speaker 4: really good legal counsel that goes through it with a
- 11:50Speaker 4: fine tooth comb.
- 11:51Speaker 3: Or just the audacity of just thinking that you're so
- 11:54Speaker 3: smart that you're going to get out of this.
- 11:56Speaker 4: Those are the same people who are agreed to do
- 11:58Speaker 4: a reality show. You have to be diabolical, delusional and
- 12:02Speaker 4: ballsy to do it. You know, right. Normal people would go,
- 12:06Speaker 4: my boss might think it's a little bit weird or
- 12:08Speaker 4: I don't know how I want my kids to think
- 12:10Speaker 4: about this years from now. But you have to be
- 12:12Speaker 4: missing that chip that that that impulse that will tell
- 12:16Speaker 4: you like, this may not end well for me. I
- 12:19Speaker 4: don't think they have it.
- 12:20Speaker 3: It's just like the opposite of like the insurance thing.
- 12:24Speaker 3: Like I had a ring recently that I talked about
- 12:29Speaker 3: that was in this jewelry box. I switched it. Yeah.
- 12:33Speaker 3: And I'm like, yeah, I think it was, it was
- 12:37Speaker 3: thrown out. I'm pretty convinced it was thrown out. I've
- 12:39Speaker 3: had that happen to me with jewelry. You know, this
- 12:42Speaker 3: is like the opposite. Like she was like, Oh, no,
- 12:45Speaker 3: I have it all. And I'm going to say that
- 12:47Speaker 3: it was stolen. Yeah. Not even like I lost it
- 12:51Speaker 3: or it like fell down the drain. Like she could
- 12:55Speaker 3: have said, oh, my God, my ring fell down the
- 12:58Speaker 3: drain and it's worth $ 10, 000. And now I need the $ 10, 000.
- 13:00Speaker 3: And then somehow, I don't know, hit it away. But what?
- 13:06Speaker 3: I guess when those things get caught, they also find
- 13:08Speaker 3: those things like at a pawn shop too. Sometimes. So
- 13:11Speaker 3: you can't say it fell down the drain and then
- 13:14Speaker 3: say that, I mean, it's just.
- 13:16Speaker 4: What about the fact that there was a whole scene,
- 13:19Speaker 4: like it had been ransacked with like a mattress flipped
- 13:22Speaker 4: over and.
- 13:22Speaker 3: In her house you mean?
- 13:23Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 13:24Speaker 4: Like who was the one who did that?
- 13:26Speaker 3: That they planned that's all out. And I was just thinking,
- 13:30Speaker 3: and on top of it, they're Catholic. Remember they had
- 13:33Speaker 3: the boys first Holy Communion?
- 13:36Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 13:36Speaker 3: That was a whole scene.
- 13:37Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 13:38Speaker 3: And her mom, like, what are the parents going to say?
- 13:41Speaker 4: Like, and then in there, her mom's freaking out because
- 13:45Speaker 4: her mom was freaking out that she wasn't going to
- 13:46Speaker 4: be in academia. And also Eddie is a lawyer.
- 13:50Speaker 3: And they're going to get disbarred. And by the way,
- 13:52Speaker 3: their mugshots, like she's, I know it's such a weird thing.
- 13:56Speaker 4: They were smiling. I think they were.
- 13:57Speaker 3: I didn't want to feature their mugshots, but they're smiling.
- 14:00Speaker 3: You can look them up.
- 14:01Speaker 4: I think they were high.
- 14:03Speaker 3: So he is not a lawyer anymore. He has a
- 14:05Speaker 3: cannabis business.
- 14:06Speaker 1: Yes.
- 14:06Speaker 4: But he still, you know, went to law school. So
- 14:08Speaker 4: you would think, I.
- 14:10Speaker 3: Wonder if they'll represent themselves. It's surprising that he would
- 14:13Speaker 3: send that in an email.
- 14:15Speaker 4: Like what lawyer would, huh? There's so many moving parts
- 14:18Speaker 4: of the story.
- 14:18Speaker 3: Like you're emailing your wife. Like, why wouldn't you say
- 14:20Speaker 3: that at night? Like, wait, where are we on this thing?
- 14:23Speaker 3: Can we throw like 10 more bags on there?
- 14:26Speaker 4: Or if you're committing a crime, like. In the dark
- 14:29Speaker 4: with a flashlight under your chin. Like, you're going to, boop, like, email?
- 14:33Speaker 2: What?
- 14:33Speaker 3: I mean, and then, so they're not currently filming the show, right?
- 14:37Speaker 3: Or are they?
- 14:38Speaker 4: No, I know they picked up cameras. And wouldn't you?
- 14:42Speaker 4: I would call headquarters and go.
- 14:45Speaker 3: That should be a shirt. They picked up cameras. Go now.
- 14:48Speaker 3: Juicy scoop. I'm going to make that a shirt. I
- 14:52Speaker 3: heard they just picked up cameras.
- 14:53Speaker 5: Yes.
- 14:56Speaker 6: Oh, God.
- 14:57Speaker 3: Well, I mean, I definitely think they're both going to
- 14:59Speaker 3: do time, which is really sad because, you know, they
- 15:01Speaker 3: have the kids. So they're probably going to try to
- 15:03Speaker 3: have to do something like the Jiu Jitsu where it's like.
- 15:07Speaker 4: Here's what they need to do.
- 15:08Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 15:08Speaker 4: Just cop to it.
- 15:10Speaker 3: I think that's a little too late. Just cop to just.
- 15:13Speaker 4: Go, you know, Eddie has this business. We really were
- 15:16Speaker 4: facing some massive debt. It's been a lot more stressful. Like,
- 15:20Speaker 4: pull a Whitney Rose from Salt Lake City. It was like,
- 15:23Speaker 4: we made a big mistake. Now we're suffering, but we're
- 15:25Speaker 4: going to get back up. Just cop to it.
- 15:28Speaker 3: Yeah, I guess you have to cop to it.
- 15:29Speaker 4: You're on a reality show. That's your career for the
- 15:31Speaker 4: rest of your life.
- 15:32Speaker 3: Okay, this is what they should do.
- 15:33Speaker 4: Lean into it.
- 15:34Speaker 3: She should say that's what it is. That she got
- 15:37Speaker 3: sucked into this fake world of being rich. And she felt,
- 15:44Speaker 3: and then they were in debt because they really don't
- 15:46Speaker 3: get paid that much from Bravo. And it was wrong
- 15:52Speaker 3: for her to also include a ring that is so
- 15:56Speaker 3: close to her heart because it is her wedding band. Yeah.
- 15:59Speaker 3: And they still love each other. They're still a family.
- 16:02Speaker 3: They don't want to be taken away from their kids,
- 16:04Speaker 3: from each other. Talk about that.
- 16:05Speaker 4: Talk about that.
- 16:06Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 16:07Speaker 3: And that's why I still wore the ring.
- 16:09Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 16:10Speaker 3: Well, what about returning things right before and claiming that
- 16:13Speaker 3: they were stolen? Well, again, I needed the money.
- 16:17Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 16:17Speaker 3: To keep up the image of being a real housewife.
- 16:21Speaker 3: But the thing about it is I would talk about.
- 16:24Speaker 4: The pressure of your husband trying to build a business.
- 16:28Speaker 4: And I would say lean into it's really hard to
- 16:32Speaker 4: grow a cannabis business. I think it's really hard for them,
- 16:34Speaker 4: like I said, to get loans.
- 16:36Speaker 3: I know, but that's not like a sympathy thing.
- 16:39Speaker 4: No, but you could say the reality of your partner
- 16:43Speaker 4: leaving the law practice to start a business and I'm
- 16:46Speaker 4: on TV and raising kids.
- 16:47Speaker 3: That's the only thing you could do to possibly get
- 16:52Speaker 3: people to understand. Okay, if you're their defense attorney, I'm
- 16:55Speaker 3: trying to get their business too. I'm going to say
- 16:58Speaker 3: let's not talk about the cannabis business. I don't think
- 17:01Speaker 3: that's going to win over a jury. But I also
- 17:04Speaker 3: would say you really weren't surrounded by like that wealthy
- 17:08Speaker 3: of people. Your castmate's already in prison for a DUI
- 17:12Speaker 3: for her fourth, which is Karen Huger. Giselle is that
- 17:17Speaker 3: house that was made by Legos is not a fancy house.
- 17:20Speaker 4: I don't think the Osefos live. I think they live
- 17:23Speaker 4: pretty far. far away from Baltimore.
- 17:25Speaker 3: But I'm saying it's not like she can really do
- 17:28Speaker 3: the excuse of I had to keep up with the
- 17:29Speaker 3: Joneses of my cast because that cast is not a
- 17:32Speaker 3: wealthy cast. Well, I don't think it's about that.
- 17:34Speaker 4: It's about being on television.
- 17:35Speaker 6: Right.
- 17:36Speaker 3: That's what we have to do. Go with the television.
- 17:37Speaker 3: Go with the television.
- 17:38Speaker 4: I think she says, I started to believe that if
- 17:43Speaker 4: I didn't increase my lifestyle, that it wouldn't provide me
- 17:49Speaker 4: additional opportunities in reality TV, to be on Traders, to
- 17:53Speaker 4: be on this spinoff show, shows I wanted to pitch.
- 17:58Speaker 4: I felt like if I didn't have a bigger and
- 18:01Speaker 4: more abundant lifestyle that I would be overlooked for opportunities.
- 18:06Speaker 3: This guy said that he, I guess his name is
- 18:12Speaker 3: Rob Smith, I think, but his He is a also
- 18:15Speaker 3: commentator of things.
- 18:17Speaker 4: Okay.
- 18:17Speaker 3: But I think he's more on the conservative side.
- 18:19Speaker 4: Oh, I watched that one.
- 18:20Speaker 3: So he might not like her because of.
- 18:22Speaker 4: Her liberal views. I think that was a dig. Because
- 18:25Speaker 4: they had been together on TV.
- 18:26Speaker 3: But he had said that she was very rude and
- 18:29Speaker 3: full of herself and blah, blah, blah, blah. But you're
- 18:31Speaker 3: also going bat to bat. But that's just kind of interesting.
- 18:35Speaker 3: I think they had been on several different shows before.
- 18:37Speaker 3: He didn't appreciate her when they were talking heads together.
- 18:40Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 18:42Speaker 3: So we'll see what happens with that. And to the
- 18:45Speaker 3: person that's wife swapped with her.
- 18:46Speaker 4: You know what? I got to be honest. More people
- 18:49Speaker 4: are going to watch Real Housewives of Potomac this season.
- 18:51Speaker 4: Because they're going to be looking through each episode like
- 18:53Speaker 4: the Zapruder film to see if there are other inaccuracies.
- 18:56Speaker 3: I mean, there is no way that the people at
- 18:58Speaker 3: Bravo are never not happy. Providing that someone is not
- 19:03Speaker 3: dead when someone gets arrested.
- 19:05Speaker 4: Yeah, probably.
- 19:07Speaker 3: Like provided that no physical harm has happened to anybody,
- 19:11Speaker 3: they've got to be thrilled every single time.
- 19:13Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 19:13Speaker 4: I'm going to be watching all season.
- 19:15Speaker 3: Like I just think they get the news and they go, wow.
- 19:18Speaker 3: And then they shut the door and like.
- 19:20Speaker 4: Do a dance. And they're like, yes.
- 19:21Speaker 3: Yes. Yeah. Yes.
- 19:22Speaker 4: It's like you and me when we call each other like, oh,
- 19:24Speaker 4: my God, what is going on?
- 19:26Speaker 3: Oh, my God. But it's, yeah, the audacity of the
- 19:29Speaker 3: thing is crazy.
- 19:31Speaker 6: Thank you.
- 19:40Speaker 4: Your employees get both.
- 19:41Speaker 6: They can spend with Ireland's favourite retailers or choose a
- 19:44Speaker 6: card you can tap and pay with. All in one reward.
- 19:47Speaker 6: You choose who to reward and how much. Options Card
- 19:50Speaker 6: handles the rest. It's valid for five years with no
- 19:53Speaker 6: fees chipping away at the balance.
- 19:55Speaker 3: Make your rewards more rewarding.
- 19:58Speaker 6: Visit optionscard.ie today.
- 20:00Speaker 5: I'm Darman and this is What Happens Next. Each week
- 20:04Speaker 5: on the show, I sit down with extraordinary people who
- 20:07Speaker 5: have faced tremendous setbacks. And yet somehow have found a
- 20:12Speaker 5: way to turn them into their greatest strengths. Life is
- 20:15Speaker 5: one long lesson of chaos.
- 20:17Speaker 4: I'm heading to the Emmys and I have police complaints
- 20:20Speaker 4: filed against me. When your free will was about to
- 20:22Speaker 4: be taken from you, what would you.
- 20:24Speaker 5: Do if it was given back? Where did that need
- 20:26Speaker 5: come from where you thought that you had to succeed
- 20:30Speaker 5: in order.
- 20:30Speaker 4: To feel loved?
- 20:31Speaker 3: He said, I have a work dad.
- 20:32Speaker 5: I need a home dad.
- 20:33Speaker 3: What happens next? When I came in, he started crying.
- 20:36Speaker 5: Everybody in life encounters hardships. What defines them is not
- 20:40Speaker 5: those hard moments that they go through. It's about what
- 20:43Speaker 5: happens next.
- 20:44Speaker 3: I decided to risk it all. I realized how valuable
- 20:47Speaker 3: every day was. You're worth the work.
- 20:48Speaker 1: Listen, Dara, I'm not going to pull punches.
- 20:50Speaker 3: You can use your voice even if it's shaped.
- 20:53Speaker 5: The stories are different, but the impact is the same.
- 20:56Speaker 5: Only one question matters. What happens next?
- 21:06Speaker 3: Okay, now we're going to talk about one of the
- 21:09Speaker 3: greatest reunions that are happening right now is Real Housewives
- 21:15Speaker 3: of Miami.
- 21:16Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 21:17Speaker 3: No, you don't have to watch all season. No, you
- 21:20Speaker 3: may not even have to watch the reunion. But you're
- 21:23Speaker 3: going to enjoy this conversation because it's crazy.
- 21:27Speaker 4: And let me say, I love this show so much.
- 21:29Speaker 3: I like it.
- 21:30Speaker 4: I've interviewed the executive producer. I always tell him it's
- 21:33Speaker 4: my favorite of all the franchises. I love that show
- 21:37Speaker 4: more than any other Real Housewives. I think they are
- 21:39Speaker 4: all so funny, truly colorful.
- 21:42Speaker 3: It's like they all, so, you know, multicultural, from different countries,
- 21:49Speaker 3: speak multiple languages.
- 21:51Speaker 4: They're all family of immigrants, by the way.
- 21:54Speaker 5: Yes.
- 21:54Speaker 3: All of them.
- 21:55Speaker 2: Oh.
- 21:55Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 21:56Speaker 3: All gorgeous outfits. I like their looks. All of it.
- 22:00Speaker 4: All authentically, unapologetically, authentically themselves.
- 22:06Speaker 3: So here we go. Adriana says that she brought Julia,
- 22:15Speaker 3: who's married to Martina, onto the show. Nobody would have
- 22:19Speaker 3: found you with your goats in that place, Julia. Nobody.
- 22:24Speaker 3: And I brought you here to be on this show.
- 22:27Speaker 4: Okay.
- 22:28Speaker 3: I did it for you. And Julia, who's Russian. says,
- 22:35Speaker 3: and I may not have her accent down, says, what
- 22:38Speaker 3: you don't know, Andy, which could be some clarity on
- 22:42Speaker 3: why Adriana and I are no longer close, is back
- 22:48Speaker 3: in the Hamptons, we slept together. They slept together. And
- 22:54Speaker 3: that was like four years ago. And she claims... that
- 22:58Speaker 3: Adriana held it over her like a carrot or held
- 23:02Speaker 3: it over her head.
- 23:02Speaker 4: Dangled it.
- 23:03Speaker 3: Dangled it. Weaponized it. I'm going to tell it. I'm
- 23:05Speaker 3: going to ruin it. I'm going to ruin your marriage.
- 23:07Speaker 3: And Martina is this famous tennis player. They've been together
- 23:12Speaker 3: a while, married, now adopted these two boys just recently
- 23:18Speaker 3: who are like three and one that are brothers. And
- 23:21Speaker 3: she tells it. So we knew that last week. Then
- 23:24Speaker 3: this week, Adriana comes back and she goes, you're a
- 23:30Speaker 3: married woman. What does it matter what I did with you?
- 23:32Speaker 3: You are a cheater. You slept with a Haitian mortician.
- 23:38Speaker 3: And they're like, what? And you had to give him
- 23:41Speaker 3: a coffee machine as a thank you gift. What? He
- 23:45Speaker 3: brought the champagne and you banged him. You got the
- 23:48Speaker 3: hotel room. You told me about it. And then you
- 23:51Speaker 3: and your Haitian mortician. And they're like, what? Was this like,
- 23:56Speaker 3: what kind of coffee machine? And he's like, wait, did
- 23:58Speaker 3: it have a cream foamer? Like, what are we talking about?
- 24:01Speaker 3: And she's like, so then they leave. And he's like, what?
- 24:06Speaker 3: who was the Haitian mortician? And people were like, in
- 24:09Speaker 3: the comments, was the Haitian mortician a woman or a man? Yeah.
- 24:12Speaker 3: And she's like, a fair hardly. Meaning, yeah, I fucked
- 24:17Speaker 3: this guy. I fucked this guy.
- 24:19Speaker 4: Yeah, like probably one time.
- 24:20Speaker 3: Yeah, one time I had a free coffee machine and
- 24:26Speaker 3: But I don't think anybody cared.
- 24:28Speaker 4: And you slept with a cop. No one cared because
- 24:31Speaker 4: they're like, that tracks.
- 24:33Speaker 3: It wasn't a shock. But also, it's also, to me,
- 24:38Speaker 3: so humiliating to Martina.
- 24:41Speaker 4: Yeah, maybe. I don't know.
- 24:42Speaker 3: Let's think about Martina before she entered our world as
- 24:47Speaker 3: the most unhappy, humorless spouse of any housewife in the
- 24:53Speaker 3: history of the housewives. like, you're just like, why are
- 24:57Speaker 3: you agreeing when you had this, like, you know, really
- 25:00Speaker 3: great reputation as this incredible tennis player your whole life.
- 25:05Speaker 3: And now you and this wife who needs to be
- 25:09Speaker 3: on TV, not only did you, I just thought I
- 25:13Speaker 3: have to keep this sexy wife happy so she can
- 25:16Speaker 3: be on the housewives.
- 25:17Speaker 6: Fine.
- 25:17Speaker 3: She used to be a model. She wants to be
- 25:18Speaker 3: in front of TV.
- 25:19Speaker 6: Fine.
- 25:20Speaker 3: With this, I'm like, It's so embarrassing because even if
- 25:26Speaker 3: you did have an open marriage, it's just gross that
- 25:31Speaker 3: you're like sleeping with some cop possibly and a mortician
- 25:35Speaker 3: at hotel rooms. And then they went back. And do
- 25:38Speaker 3: you remember when Larsa was like, I saw you making
- 25:41Speaker 3: out with a black guy or something? And she's like,
- 25:44Speaker 3: I kiss lots of people. What does it matter? So
- 25:48Speaker 3: she's a serial cheater or they're open. She's an imp.
- 25:52Speaker 3: She's an imp. She's whatever.
- 25:54Speaker 4: I don't think it really affects Martina because how many
- 25:57Speaker 4: people in her tennis world are keeping up with every
- 26:00Speaker 4: episode of Real Housewives of Miami?
- 26:01Speaker 3: The rumors are that she is, but I don't know
- 26:04Speaker 3: that it's true, that she's very unhappy and that there
- 26:08Speaker 3: was a time she was looking at a divorce attorney.
- 26:11Speaker 4: Now you have two new kids.
- 26:12Speaker 2: Sorry.
- 26:13Speaker 3: Also, Julia says that in the show. She's like, we're
- 26:15Speaker 3: going through a hard time. I thought she was pretty transparent.
- 26:18Speaker 4: Yeah. Our relationship's really difficult all the time.
- 26:20Speaker 3: And you know, when you're having a really hard time
- 26:23Speaker 3: in your marriage, the best thing that you can do
- 26:25Speaker 3: is adopt two children. I know, I know. And put
- 26:28Speaker 3: them on reality TV.
- 26:30Speaker 4: I know, I know.
- 26:31Speaker 3: That's always, every marriage counselor will tell you.
- 26:33Speaker 4: Absolutely.
- 26:34Speaker 3: That if there is cheating on a reality show between
- 26:37Speaker 3: you and your spouse- This will definitely bring you guys together.
- 26:41Speaker 3: And especially if your spouse has never been a mother
- 26:44Speaker 3: and is 68 years old. There's nothing that that woman
- 26:47Speaker 3: would rather do than chase after a one-and-a-half-year-old and three-year-old.
- 26:51Speaker 3: That is really going to help make them close.
- 26:53Speaker 4: I actually thought the big secret may have been that
- 26:56Speaker 4: Adriana was going to say, I know the real reason
- 27:01Speaker 4: her daughters are not speaking to her about the kids.
- 27:03Speaker 4: And I thought, now that would be much more painful.
- 27:07Speaker 3: Which is what? They don't want to share an inheritance.
- 27:10Speaker 4: I don't know what it is, because I was like,
- 27:11Speaker 4: that's what we want to know. But the cheating, I
- 27:14Speaker 4: was kind of like, so what day is it of
- 27:16Speaker 4: the week? Like, okay, that's not that surprising.
- 27:19Speaker 3: I mean, the daughters are going to come around, but
- 27:21Speaker 3: I mean, probably the daughters are just like, mom, you've
- 27:24Speaker 3: had like a— One.
- 27:25Speaker 4: Daughter was like, you don't even know the name of
- 27:27Speaker 4: the school I went to.
- 27:29Speaker 3: Yeah, she doesn't know what school her daughter went to,
- 27:32Speaker 3: never visited, whatever. She had, you know, many men and
- 27:37Speaker 3: husbands and whatever it was before she met Martina. And
- 27:42Speaker 3: then Adriana says, wait, I just want to get. OK,
- 27:47Speaker 3: so we'll go through this. Here we see them in
- 27:50Speaker 3: their colorful outfits, hearing about it, hearing about everything. And
- 27:55Speaker 3: so then she says she keeps saying everything to Andy
- 28:00Speaker 3: of what's going on.
- 28:01Speaker 2: And.
- 28:03Speaker 3: They all just did look so beautiful. And then, and
- 28:06Speaker 3: this was my favorite part is that Adriana.
- 28:10Speaker 4: Oh my God. You need to talk to her about comedy.
- 28:14Speaker 3: You need about comedy.
- 28:16Speaker 4: She's like, she's always like three beats behind and she
- 28:19Speaker 4: has props.
- 28:20Speaker 3: Well, listen, I can relate to this wardrobe situation where
- 28:24Speaker 3: she put her dress on and was like, I want
- 28:27Speaker 3: to get my favorite corset underneath to snatch my waist
- 28:31Speaker 3: while I sit on this couch. However, it's not low enough.
- 28:35Speaker 4: Right.
- 28:36Speaker 3: But no one's going to see it.
- 28:37Speaker 4: Right.
- 28:38Speaker 3: Except when you keep getting up and standing and pointing
- 28:42Speaker 3: and everything. So you have the mic and all this stuff.
- 28:46Speaker 3: And that's when she walks over and she goes, she says, Julia, Julia,
- 28:53Speaker 3: whatever your name is. She changed her name, Andy, from
- 28:56Speaker 3: Julia to Julia, from Julia to Julia.
- 28:58Speaker 4: But Andy's like, what?
- 28:59Speaker 3: And she goes, here you go.
- 29:01Speaker 5: You?
- 29:03Speaker 3: Took my heart. So now you can have it in
- 29:05Speaker 3: a box. And they're like, what the fuck is this?
- 29:07Speaker 3: What in the Jeffrey Dahmer is this like fake crafty
- 29:11Speaker 3: heart that's in a wooden box? And I'm like, okay,
- 29:14Speaker 3: well then maybe now I'm thinking you guys were full
- 29:17Speaker 3: on lovers. Like now I do think you're in love
- 29:19Speaker 3: with her because then she also goes back to this
- 29:23Speaker 3: night that they're in the Miami rain and she's like, Julia,
- 29:29Speaker 3: you taught me what love is. It's genderless. It's this.
- 29:32Speaker 3: It's that. I'm like, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It didn't make
- 29:37Speaker 3: sense that you were so weird and so hurt. You're
- 29:39Speaker 3: supposed to be my best friend. When I'm like, Alexia
- 29:43Speaker 3: and the other girl that she's mad that Julia's hanging
- 29:46Speaker 3: out with, Maricel, to me, they've never done anything bad
- 29:49Speaker 3: to Adriana. It's like Adriana's fighting a bunch of people
- 29:52Speaker 3: that are like, I'm not even mad at you. Who cares?
- 29:55Speaker 4: There was no big thing.
- 29:59Speaker 3: And anyway, I found her very entertaining.
- 30:03Speaker 4: My favorite part was when Andy is standing with Alexia, Julia,
- 30:10Speaker 4: like backstage after they take a break.
- 30:12Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 30:12Speaker 4: And they're all trying to ask Julia, like, well, what
- 30:16Speaker 4: all did you do with her?
- 30:17Speaker 3: Sexually.
- 30:18Speaker 5: Sexually.
- 30:18Speaker 3: It was the best.
- 30:19Speaker 4: Like, break it down. And Kiki, who is so absolutely hilarious,
- 30:23Speaker 4: walks in and is like, I'll tell you, I watch
- 30:25Speaker 4: a lot of the porn.
- 30:26Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 30:26Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 30:27Speaker 4: There's so many funny moments.
- 30:29Speaker 3: There's so many funny moments.
- 30:29Speaker 4: Especially when you juxtaposition that with, like, OC, which is
- 30:33Speaker 4: unbearably not funny.
- 30:34Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 30:35Speaker 1: Oh, my God.
- 30:35Speaker 3: And then Larsa and Stephanie are talking about that. And
- 30:40Speaker 3: they're like, well, we can't top the... The Haitian mortician.
- 30:44Speaker 4: Can't do it.
- 30:45Speaker 3: She's just like, what are we going to do about that? Like,
- 30:49Speaker 3: I don't know. They're just like laughing. And it does,
- 30:52Speaker 3: it shows what I do love about Stephanie, who's the
- 30:54Speaker 3: new girl, is she's like, I'm good with everybody. I
- 30:57Speaker 3: truly like love all these women. I didn't have a
- 30:59Speaker 3: lot of friendships before. I know, I like that part.
- 31:01Speaker 3: I feel like she made new friends. Yeah. And she's like, yeah,
- 31:04Speaker 3: Alexia and I, we all like each other. So- You know,
- 31:08Speaker 3: we still have one more episode to do things. I
- 31:11Speaker 3: feel like, you know, Larsa and Lisa, they're going to
- 31:16Speaker 3: be fine. Everyone's going to be fine. But where do
- 31:19Speaker 3: you go when there was a lesbian rendezvous among cast
- 31:26Speaker 3: members that aren't happy, are still mad at each other?
- 31:30Speaker 4: They'll show up to film me.
- 31:33Speaker 3: They will. I mean, I think you got to keep
- 31:35Speaker 3: them all, right? Of course. We don't want anyone to go.
- 31:37Speaker 4: I don't want anyone to go.
- 31:40Speaker 3: But then, okay, so someone put this in my group anonymously.
- 31:45Speaker 3: When Adriana said, Andy, there is a spy among us.
- 31:50Speaker 3: I did not realize this is her beauty photo. This
- 31:54Speaker 3: is when Julia, I'm guessing this is not a doctored photo.
- 32:01Speaker 3: Because this was an anonymous thing.
- 32:02Speaker 4: First of all, among is spelled wrong. I know. I'm
- 32:06Speaker 4: taking it back on that.
- 32:07Speaker 3: But she was Miss.
- 32:10Speaker 4: USSR?
- 32:11Speaker 3: Yes.
- 32:12Speaker 4: So she's saying that she's like a.
- 32:14Speaker 3: A Russian spy.
- 32:15Speaker 4: A Russian spy.
- 32:16Speaker 3: Okay. In a beauty contest.
- 32:19Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 32:19Speaker 3: I think that's true. I think this is real.
- 32:21Speaker 4: Yeah. Anyway, I think we've got a long list of
- 32:26Speaker 4: spies that we have to that we're all looking at
- 32:28Speaker 4: right now. I think Julia is probably the lowest on
- 32:30Speaker 4: the list.
- 32:31Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't think we're worried about it, really. But
- 32:34Speaker 3: it's by within the in the Miami. She's so stealth.
- 32:38Speaker 4: She chooses Martina Navratilova. Yeah.
- 32:41Speaker 3: And then, no, there's no there's nothing deceptive about Julia.
- 32:46Speaker 3: I think she's I do think she's a slutty opportunist. Yeah, she's.
- 32:50Speaker 3: That's all.
- 32:52Speaker 4: That's all. Just trying to survive.
- 32:54Speaker 3: So this came out today. Katie Rost, who has had
- 32:59Speaker 3: a colorful past. She was on Real Housewives of Potomac
- 33:03Speaker 3: with Dr. Wendy. And she posted this today. Ashley and
- 33:09Speaker 3: I love each other. There is no beef, but she
- 33:12Speaker 3: has no cooth. I got to throw a flag. My
- 33:15Speaker 3: magical vagina that she told details about. She told Andy Cohen,
- 33:20Speaker 3: I have a hamster pussy on national TV. She ate it.
- 33:24Speaker 3: So I guess she would know. She is just a hater.
- 33:28Speaker 4: She's just a hater.
- 33:30Speaker 3: We love you, Wendy.
- 33:31Speaker 4: But why is there a photo of Ashley with her
- 33:33Speaker 4: mother below? That's what she chose to comment on.
- 33:38Speaker 3: It's really weird because I guess Ashley somehow was kind
- 33:43Speaker 3: of laughing about the Potomac arrest of Dr. Wendy. So
- 33:47Speaker 3: then Katie comes out of the woodwork to defend her.
- 33:50Speaker 4: Well, I saw Katie defending Wendy first. And So maybe
- 33:54Speaker 4: that was just like her loyalty coming out.
- 33:55Speaker 3: But also a hamster. When did she say? And what
- 34:00Speaker 3: an awful description. I mean, a hamster.
- 34:02Speaker 4: You lost me.
- 34:03Speaker 3: I'm like, that sounds awful. And then she said she
- 34:10Speaker 3: she ate it. So I guess she would know she
- 34:13Speaker 3: is just a hater. OK, well, also, Ashley has said
- 34:19Speaker 3: in an interview recently that I'm dating both men and women.
- 34:23Speaker 3: She's been openly bisexual this entire time. And now so
- 34:29Speaker 3: is a real housewife, Atlanta. Portia says I'm dating both
- 34:33Speaker 3: men and women.
- 34:35Speaker 4: I get, I don't think with this kind of stuff,
- 34:36Speaker 4: people are like, okay.
- 34:38Speaker 3: I mean, I feel like in like two years, someone's
- 34:40Speaker 3: going to be like, and then you ate me out.
- 34:42Speaker 3: We're going to be like, what? It was like really
- 34:45Speaker 3: kind of juicy when like, with the Vanderpump Girls when
- 34:49Speaker 3: they were doing that sometimes with like Lala and Ariana
- 34:53Speaker 3: and then also Kristen Doty. I think the only.
- 34:59Speaker 4: People that really cared about that were the guys that
- 35:02Speaker 4: watched Vanderpump Girls because I just think women are kind
- 35:04Speaker 4: of like.
- 35:06Speaker 3: But to me, I don't know. I've never in my
- 35:08Speaker 3: friend group known somebody that's married to men and go
- 35:12Speaker 3: down on each other.
- 35:13Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 35:14Speaker 3: So if it happened in my real life, I would
- 35:17Speaker 3: be like, hit me over with a feather. I would
- 35:19Speaker 3: be so shocked. But now I was like, when it
- 35:22Speaker 3: was happening.
- 35:22Speaker 4: I think it's so much on TV that you're just
- 35:24Speaker 4: sort of like.
- 35:25Speaker 3: I mean, when it was happening with the Vanderpump Girls,
- 35:27Speaker 3: I was like, well, I think, yeah, with younger people,
- 35:31Speaker 3: this is more common when you're getting high and drunk.
- 35:33Speaker 3: And I don't know. Just happens. Happens like it's like
- 35:37Speaker 3: a Vegas thing. I don't know what it is. But
- 35:39Speaker 3: like now I'm like.
- 35:40Speaker 4: I think that is just like someone just trying to.
- 35:43Speaker 3: Good for them.
- 35:44Speaker 4: Retaliate.
- 35:45Speaker 3: Okay. Now. New report on... This is from The Hollywood Reporter.
- 35:51Speaker 3: Amy Bradley, that is one of the biggest docs that
- 35:55Speaker 3: happened this year. This is the young girl that went
- 35:58Speaker 3: missing over 25 years ago off of a Carnival Cruise ship,
- 36:04Speaker 3: which she shared a room with her parents and her
- 36:08Speaker 3: college-age brother. She had just graduated from college, and they've
- 36:12Speaker 3: been looking for her for years. And you... interviewed the
- 36:18Speaker 3: producers of this doc.
- 36:19Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 36:21Speaker 3: And you definitely think she's alive.
- 36:24Speaker 4: I do think she was alive. I think she lived
- 36:26Speaker 4: for a long time. Now we should preface this is
- 36:28Speaker 4: that we have a long history of disagreeing about true
- 36:32Speaker 4: crime cases.
- 36:33Speaker 3: Okay.
- 36:34Speaker 4: And rather than being angry about it, I think it's
- 36:37Speaker 4: absolutely hilarious.
- 36:39Speaker 3: We listen, you can have different views and actually still
- 36:43Speaker 3: be friends. Like it, You can agree to disagree.
- 36:46Speaker 4: Makes me laugh so hard. So when you were like, no,
- 36:49Speaker 4: she wasn't trafficked. She jumped off the boat. I couldn't
- 36:52Speaker 4: stop laughing.
- 36:52Speaker 3: Accidentally fell.
- 36:53Speaker 4: I was like, of course. Like we, of course.
- 36:56Speaker 3: And I, you know what? Obviously I hope that she's
- 36:59Speaker 3: alive or comes out of the woodwork and she just
- 37:02Speaker 3: happened to never have a Netflix subscription this whole time
- 37:06Speaker 3: or seen the numerous reports about her or seen the
- 37:10Speaker 3: posters or whatever and Because she's so embarrassed that she
- 37:14Speaker 3: was trafficked and doesn't want her family to know that
- 37:18Speaker 3: even though they were not happy that she was in
- 37:20Speaker 3: a lesbian relationship, that it would have been worse if
- 37:24Speaker 3: she was sleeping with men as a trafficked kid. I
- 37:28Speaker 3: just don't believe the whole thing. I just don't.
- 37:30Speaker 4: Okay. I absolutely believe that she was taken.
- 37:33Speaker 3: Okay.
- 37:34Speaker 4: And I've been following this case for decades. And I've
- 37:38Speaker 4: believed from the very beginning that she was trafficked. taken
- 37:41Speaker 4: off that ship.
- 37:42Speaker 5: Okay.
- 37:43Speaker 4: So there has been new information that's come forward that
- 37:45Speaker 4: I wanted to make sure that you noted. Okay. Number one,
- 37:49Speaker 4: IP address hits on that website. They found a boat
- 37:53Speaker 4: off the coast of the western part of Barbados that
- 37:57Speaker 4: they have been looking into.
- 37:58Speaker 3: What do you mean? Wait, someone's living off of on
- 38:01Speaker 3: a boat? Yes.
- 38:02Speaker 4: And the pinging of the IP address for the Amy
- 38:05Speaker 4: Bradley is missing website.
- 38:07Speaker 3: It's suspect.
- 38:07Speaker 4: Suspect. And that happens to be in an area that
- 38:10Speaker 4: has high drug and sex trafficking. Okay.
- 38:15Speaker 3: Okay.
- 38:15Speaker 4: Number two, during the documentary, there was a, or there
- 38:20Speaker 4: was discussion. I don't know if it was, I don't
- 38:23Speaker 4: think it made it to the documentary because they couldn't
- 38:25Speaker 4: track this woman down, but there was a bartender, a
- 38:28Speaker 4: female bartender who didn't speak English that well, who had
- 38:31Speaker 4: said Senorita kidnapped the day that morning after she was,
- 38:36Speaker 4: she was, or she disappeared. That woman has now come forward.
- 38:41Speaker 4: The man that was doing the video of the nightclub
- 38:44Speaker 4: where she was dancing in the documentary says, I was
- 38:47Speaker 4: told to get rid of that video. He has now
- 38:52Speaker 4: named who that person was.
- 38:54Speaker 3: They told him?
- 38:55Speaker 4: And that person is in the documentary. He was like
- 38:56Speaker 4: head of the boat. A fourth thing is they have
- 39:00Speaker 4: now reason to believe that there is a child. Amy
- 39:03Speaker 4: does have a child. So, I mean, She would have
- 39:08Speaker 4: to have been taken off the boat to have had
- 39:09Speaker 4: a child, correct?
- 39:10Speaker 3: So what do you think happened?
- 39:14Speaker 4: I think she probably had been talking to someone about
- 39:20Speaker 4: doing some sort of drug. It could have been as
- 39:22Speaker 4: simple as marijuana. And I think she went to her room.
- 39:26Speaker 4: I think she had a second wind. She went out.
- 39:29Speaker 4: She met somebody. and somehow got off the boat, either
- 39:33Speaker 4: on her own accord or with somebody pushing her. And
- 39:35Speaker 4: then she's off the boat and then immediately realizes, I
- 39:40Speaker 4: don't know how to get, like I'm in a bad situation.
- 39:42Speaker 4: And I think that when women are trafficked, they are
- 39:46Speaker 4: given a prodigious amount of drugs. They are raped. They
- 39:49Speaker 4: are tortured. And they're not only coping with trying to
- 39:54Speaker 4: get off the drugs, but they don't know how to
- 39:57Speaker 4: get home. They don't know how to get help. And
- 39:59Speaker 4: there's also the psychological torture of the person that has
- 40:03Speaker 4: taken them. And if you had a baby with someone
- 40:07Speaker 4: that raped you, then you would also feel a sense
- 40:11Speaker 4: of need to stay there. And I do think there's
- 40:16Speaker 4: an incredible amount of shame that comes with victims. And unless...
- 40:20Speaker 4: We've been through that experience. We really wouldn't be able
- 40:22Speaker 4: to understand it. There are enough people that have had
- 40:25Speaker 4: thrown up red flags in this case that I think
- 40:28Speaker 4: there's enough reason to pursue it. And the fact that
- 40:30Speaker 4: the FBI has put a new special agent, I mean,
- 40:33Speaker 4: they've been to Capitol Hill since this has come out.
- 40:35Speaker 4: So I think it all is pointing to there's enough
- 40:38Speaker 4: information to lead us to believe that she lived past
- 40:42Speaker 4: the day that she disappeared.
- 40:44Speaker 3: Okay. Very good. I disagree. I don't think that you
- 40:50Speaker 3: are a target for trafficking when you are sharing a
- 40:53Speaker 3: bedroom with your parents and your brother on a ship
- 40:58Speaker 3: and you have a sensible haircut and you wear Birkenstocks.
- 41:01Speaker 3: I don't think they like look at certain haircuts and
- 41:04Speaker 3: clothes and they're like, you got the look that we're
- 41:06Speaker 3: looking for. I'm just saying, I don't think, and I don't,
- 41:11Speaker 3: and I think, If this was a thing of happening,
- 41:15Speaker 3: of people being trafficked and getting off the boat, there
- 41:19Speaker 3: would be, along with her missing, are these eight, ten
- 41:25Speaker 3: other women.
- 41:25Speaker 4: I'm sure that has happened.
- 41:27Speaker 3: During that time. Well, there was another.
- 41:29Speaker 4: All those people didn't look for their relatives. No, there
- 41:31Speaker 4: was a girl that has come forward and said that
- 41:33Speaker 4: just after Amy disappeared, that same man, yellow, had been
- 41:39Speaker 4: trying to get her to get off the boat too.
- 41:41Speaker 4: And she has pictures with him on the boat. And
- 41:43Speaker 4: that girl was only 13 at the time. So I
- 41:46Speaker 4: do think it was happening, but I don't think a
- 41:47Speaker 4: lot of people have the strength to come forward. Do
- 41:51Speaker 4: you think there's any chance that the pinging that's coming
- 41:56Speaker 4: is her? However, she is in an okay place. It's possible.
- 42:03Speaker 3: But is sitting back, is it ever possible that someone
- 42:10Speaker 3: is okay and sees their family or their loved ones
- 42:15Speaker 3: or their husband or their mother begging for them to call.
- 42:20Speaker 3: And they just are like, this is fun. I fucking
- 42:23Speaker 3: hate you. And you can worry about me for the
- 42:26Speaker 3: rest of my life.
- 42:26Speaker 4: Because I do think I've covered a lot of true
- 42:29Speaker 4: crime docs where there is, there are people that kind
- 42:32Speaker 4: of disappear and it's, it's on purpose.
- 42:34Speaker 3: It's like a Sherry Papini.
- 42:36Speaker 4: So is it possible?
- 42:37Speaker 3: Can someone really be sitting back for years and years
- 42:40Speaker 3: and be like, I just like to go on that
- 42:43Speaker 3: website as my, you know, to see what it is,
- 42:46Speaker 3: just to see, you know, if they're still looking for
- 42:49Speaker 3: me or whatever.
- 42:50Speaker 4: It's possible. I just don't think in this case.
- 42:53Speaker 3: I think this case is a money-making case as far
- 42:56Speaker 3: as entertainment value. I think it's, there are certain true
- 43:00Speaker 3: crime cases that you go into a network and you say,
- 43:05Speaker 3: there's a new wrinkle here. on the JonBenet and it's
- 43:09Speaker 3: an angle that the guy that, whatever, you just come
- 43:14Speaker 3: up with one tiny new wrinkle and we have another
- 43:19Speaker 3: person that's going to be interviewed and they're like, yeah,
- 43:21Speaker 3: we know just like someone that does an article about
- 43:26Speaker 3: Taylor Swift knows as long as we say Taylor Swift
- 43:29Speaker 3: got a new bra, whatever, the clickbait is going to
- 43:33Speaker 3: go there. That's all you need. And that is why
- 43:37Speaker 3: there's so many docs about OJ, so many docs about JonBenet.
- 43:40Speaker 4: But there weren't really that many about Amy Bradley, actually.
- 43:43Speaker 3: Yes, there were. Trust me, I've climbed 2020s and there
- 43:46Speaker 3: was not that many. Trust me, when they announced it,
- 43:49Speaker 3: I was excited because I thought, thankfully, they're finally going
- 43:53Speaker 3: to put the muscle into it. I'm hopeful.
- 43:56Speaker 4: I really am.
- 43:58Speaker 3: All right. Yeah. Oh, going back.
- 44:00Speaker 4: Apartment 603. What happened to Alan Greenberg on Hulu?
- 44:05Speaker 3: Well, I started to watch it.
- 44:06Speaker 4: Okay.
- 44:07Speaker 3: And this girl, this girl, she's a teacher. She's not
- 44:14Speaker 3: loving her job as a teacher. But she says the boyfriend,
- 44:19Speaker 3: the fiance is in their nice apartment in Brooklyn or
- 44:22Speaker 3: wherever it was.
- 44:23Speaker 4: Was it Brooklyn?
- 44:23Speaker 3: Where was it?
- 44:24Speaker 4: No, it was in Maniunk outside of Philadelphia.
- 44:26Speaker 3: Philly, Philly, yeah. Yeah. He's at the gym inside the
- 44:32Speaker 3: apartment complex. He comes back up and this latch is
- 44:36Speaker 3: on the door and he can't get in. Yeah. So,
- 44:39Speaker 3: so he's like trying to get in. He's annoyed. He
- 44:42Speaker 3: gets in and she's in the kitchen and she has,
- 44:47Speaker 3: he says, oh my God, she stabbed herself. And so
- 44:50Speaker 3: it's like, did he kill her? Was this suicide? This
- 44:53Speaker 3: doesn't make sense. No one stabs themselves with suicide. What,
- 44:58Speaker 3: We never we never found out what happened.
- 45:00Speaker 4: Well, yeah. The problem is, is that the police, they
- 45:05Speaker 4: came up with their initial report and then they switched
- 45:07Speaker 4: it to suicide. So the whole story is sort of
- 45:11Speaker 4: like how perplexing. Why did they switch it? And I
- 45:14Speaker 4: think the really big question is their political influence, because
- 45:18Speaker 4: the family of the fiance was close friends with the governor.
- 45:26Speaker 4: And did that have some sort of influence?
- 45:28Speaker 3: But how would he... Okay, so if he was responsible
- 45:33Speaker 3: for her death, how did he get the latch of
- 45:36Speaker 3: the door to shut after he killed her?
- 45:38Speaker 4: Because in the documentary, the building manager says that there
- 45:43Speaker 4: is this thing in that building with doors that if
- 45:45Speaker 4: you walk out the door and slam it from behind,
- 45:49Speaker 4: that the doors sometimes latch back.
- 45:52Speaker 3: Oh. Yeah.
- 45:55Speaker 4: So I think if you want to watch it, it's
- 45:57Speaker 4: an important story because I think it sheds a light
- 46:00Speaker 4: on political influence in true crime cases. Okay.
- 46:04Speaker 3: Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. Yeah. Oh, yeah.
- 46:08Speaker 4: And we have— We were fired up about this one.
- 46:11Speaker 3: We have this mother who— this is from Bravo Celebrities. The
- 46:17Speaker 3: way Bronwyn's mom spoke to her, it's actually hurt— it actually
- 46:21Speaker 3: hurt to watch.
- 46:22Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 46:22Speaker 3: So— Bronwyn is a newer cast member. She's married to
- 46:28Speaker 3: an older guy. She has one daughter who's 18, and
- 46:30Speaker 3: that daughter she gave birth to while she was at
- 46:33Speaker 3: BYU and not married, which is a big deal in
- 46:38Speaker 3: the Mormon culture. But this wasn't like 1926. This was
- 46:41Speaker 3: 18 years ago. And the mother is now living with
- 46:43Speaker 3: her while they– while her father, who has Alzheimer's, is
- 46:54Speaker 3: in a home. The mother, I mean, I hope she
- 46:57Speaker 3: doesn't live with her forever. It seems like she's going
- 46:59Speaker 3: to live with her forever.
- 47:00Speaker 4: Kind of.
- 47:02Speaker 3: And now here's what I want to say about this scene,
- 47:04Speaker 3: because it's so disturbing.
- 47:06Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 47:06Speaker 3: To anybody that watched it, she comes off as a
- 47:09Speaker 3: complete and total bitch, the mother. She's still saying one
- 47:15Speaker 3: moment that Bronwyn's like, I guess her sister was pregnant
- 47:19Speaker 3: at the same time, but the sister was married and
- 47:21Speaker 3: they were at a baby store to buy something for
- 47:25Speaker 3: her sister who was pregnant. And the woman at the
- 47:27Speaker 3: store goes, oh, and you're going to buy, she's going
- 47:30Speaker 3: to be buying you some stuff for your baby too.
- 47:32Speaker 3: And she's like, no, just for my sister, which was
- 47:35Speaker 3: weird because I mean, she's keeping the child. And then
- 47:40Speaker 3: she's like, well, Bronwyn, you don't know how hard it
- 47:44Speaker 3: was for me. When all of a sudden you just
- 47:47Speaker 3: wanted to use me as a daycare. And I'm like,
- 47:51Speaker 3: it was bizarre that she wasn't at this time. Like,
- 47:55Speaker 3: I know it was hard for us. It wasn't what
- 47:58Speaker 3: I saw for you. It was embarrassing since we were
- 48:00Speaker 3: big in the church. But of course, Gwen is the
- 48:03Speaker 3: greatest blessing ever. There was no moment of that. However,
- 48:07Speaker 3: could it be that there were those moments and it
- 48:10Speaker 3: was edited out?
- 48:11Speaker 4: I don't think so.
- 48:12Speaker 3: I don't think so either, but there is a chance.
- 48:16Speaker 3: There is a chance that at one moment the mom's like,
- 48:19Speaker 3: now the mom's not an on TV star. She's not
- 48:21Speaker 3: a reality star. She's told, okay, we're going to film.
- 48:25Speaker 3: And I'm going to, and now I'm faced with this
- 48:27Speaker 3: uncomfortable stuff. And she's just, I'm just playing devil's advocate
- 48:31Speaker 3: just because everybody like wants to put this woman at
- 48:34Speaker 3: the stake as the worst mother on earth. And I'm like,
- 48:36Speaker 3: I'm just saying this is an edited show and And
- 48:39Speaker 3: maybe she really is that awful, but maybe she really
- 48:43Speaker 3: like was a really good grandmother to Gwen, but is
- 48:47Speaker 3: like looking back and is like, well, you're asking me
- 48:49Speaker 3: these questions. And yeah, it was like, I wasn't ready
- 48:52Speaker 3: to like have to take care of her child all day.
- 48:54Speaker 3: Like I'm still, I don't know. It was off. It
- 48:58Speaker 3: was an awful, awful, awful scene. But I just thought
- 49:00Speaker 3: to myself, I mean, we, these shows, you know, the,
- 49:05Speaker 3: the wife agrees to do it. Her husband, is always
- 49:10Speaker 3: portrayed horribly, which is why Todd is suing Bravo. Oftentimes
- 49:16Speaker 3: you put your kids in a bad position where they're
- 49:19Speaker 3: misbehaved and we watch it for the next 15 years
- 49:21Speaker 3: and remember that this kid was a little shit at 15.
- 49:24Speaker 3: And then there's, and now you put like an elderly
- 49:27Speaker 3: person on, whether it's Sutton's mom or her or whatever. Mm-hmm.
- 49:33Speaker 3: And they come off really horribly. But they are probably horrible,
- 49:36Speaker 3: but still. Yeah, but I kind of loved it because
- 49:39Speaker 3: you could tell, I kind of.
- 49:41Speaker 4: Look at these situations as like playing the long game.
- 49:44Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 49:45Speaker 4: Where Bronwyn probably felt like she had the most power
- 49:49Speaker 4: that she's ever had in her life. Having a camera
- 49:52Speaker 4: there in the home.
- 49:54Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 49:55Speaker 4: Where this woman is now living.
- 49:57Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 49:57Speaker 4: Her daughter is now 18. She probably feels the most
- 50:02Speaker 4: centered that she's ever felt and she let her display
- 50:07Speaker 4: her ignorance and her cruelty and she has no one
- 50:12Speaker 4: that can save her because it's out there and she
- 50:17Speaker 4: no one's going to hide for her anymore her her
- 50:19Speaker 4: husband her other kids like you you've been a horrible
- 50:23Speaker 4: person to your daughter and And now you have to
- 50:25Speaker 4: make up for it.
- 50:26Speaker 3: I mean, but that is why I think women go
- 50:29Speaker 3: on Real Housewives shows.
- 50:30Speaker 4: I think so.
- 50:30Speaker 3: Most times it's, I'm going to show the world what
- 50:32Speaker 3: an asshole my husband is. One or two things is
- 50:34Speaker 3: going to happen. He's going to watch it and beg
- 50:37Speaker 3: for mercy. Or we're going to get divorced and still
- 50:40Speaker 3: everyone will think, will know what an asshole he is.
- 50:43Speaker 3: So now she did the exact same thing with her mom. Okay, fine.
- 50:48Speaker 3: Then get her the fuck out of your house. For me,
- 50:51Speaker 3: watching Bronwyn, I'm like, I just wanted Bronwyn to like,
- 50:54Speaker 3: if I just, I felt for her, I was like,
- 50:57Speaker 3: oh my God, now you have your daughter and her
- 51:00Speaker 3: boyfriend living there. You have angry Todd who doesn't enjoy
- 51:04Speaker 3: the cameras there. And this mean mother.
- 51:07Speaker 4: That's why her daughter lives with her. She needs a buffer.
- 51:10Speaker 3: Right, but I mean, if I was.
- 51:12Speaker 4: She doesn't have the strength to her mother, but I
- 51:14Speaker 4: think people watched that and they were jarred by it
- 51:16Speaker 4: because they may have that same kind of relationship where
- 51:19Speaker 4: you have this emotional tethering to your parents still. I
- 51:22Speaker 4: wonder if in a.
- 51:23Speaker 3: Year or two, Bronwyn is just going to be living
- 51:27Speaker 3: the single life completely. Like, I'm done with my parents.
- 51:31Speaker 3: I'm done with my kid. Not done, but like she's
- 51:34Speaker 3: gone on her own. Yeah. I don't have to. My
- 51:36Speaker 3: parents are in a place where I don't have to
- 51:38Speaker 3: be with them every day. And if she's still in
- 51:40Speaker 3: love with Todd, great. But maybe that won't last forever.
- 51:43Speaker 3: And like, oh, my God. Like, but now she's got
- 51:47Speaker 3: a case that we're going to see about that came
- 51:50Speaker 3: up about her. She had some fraud case come up, Bronwyn.
- 51:54Speaker 4: But that's why I like the origin stories, like meeting
- 51:56Speaker 4: the parents. Because now that I've met the weird mom,
- 52:00Speaker 4: if there are things in her past, legal issues. at
- 52:05Speaker 4: least I have more contacts. Like she was desperate. She
- 52:08Speaker 4: doesn't have the financial and emotional support of her parents
- 52:10Speaker 4: during the most vulnerable, precious time of a transformational point
- 52:16Speaker 4: of a woman's life. And then if that gives her
- 52:20Speaker 4: an open door to go, I made some really poor
- 52:22Speaker 4: decisions and here's why, because this is what happened to me.
- 52:26Speaker 4: If I hadn't met the mom, I don't know if
- 52:28Speaker 4: I would have seen it as much.
- 52:30Speaker 3: I have another thought about this now that just popped
- 52:32Speaker 3: in my mind. this is all kind of really awful
- 52:37Speaker 3: for Gwen it really is last season it was all
- 52:40Speaker 3: about how the her the father who died young of
- 52:45Speaker 3: like a car accident that his parents never wanted anything
- 52:48Speaker 3: to do with her and now she's getting giving full
- 52:51Speaker 3: proof again for her daughter to see that her own
- 52:55Speaker 3: parents weren't happy about her pregnancy and like normally even
- 53:02Speaker 3: a mother daughter who like hate each other it's like
- 53:04Speaker 3: the baby comes and that grandmother is overly involved or wants,
- 53:09Speaker 3: you know, and sometimes the mom is like, oh my God, grandma,
- 53:11Speaker 3: like you're not going to get custody of my kid.
- 53:12Speaker 3: Leave me alone. This is just, no wonder the girl
- 53:16Speaker 3: has a boyfriend who she's living with at 18. No
- 53:19Speaker 3: one should be living with their boyfriend at 18. But
- 53:21Speaker 3: like what?
- 53:23Speaker 4: Yeah, I know.
- 53:24Speaker 3: But it's all like, I'm so grateful.
- 53:26Speaker 4: I mean, it's very interesting to watch it because it
- 53:29Speaker 4: opens all these conversations for all of us. It's What
- 53:32Speaker 4: was your relationship with your parents like? And then how
- 53:34Speaker 4: did it challenge you in certain life circumstances? And do
- 53:37Speaker 4: you still talk to your parents? And if you don't, why?
- 53:40Speaker 4: That's why I love these shows so much. Because this
- 53:44Speaker 4: conversation and situation may not appear in movies. Because we're like, no,
- 53:49Speaker 4: movies are made for like 20-year-olds or like 55-year-old men.
- 53:52Speaker 3: No, I mean, this is why it was juicy. Like
- 53:55Speaker 3: it was super juicy, sad, disturbing, awful stuff.
- 54:00Speaker 4: It's good that Gwen's not really on the show, though. Yeah.
- 54:02Speaker 3: I'm sure she doesn't want to be. Yeah. Okay. Real
- 54:06Speaker 3: Housewives of OC. Emily is doing the Innocence Project, which
- 54:11Speaker 3: is a really great cause. And we're going to have
- 54:14Speaker 3: some espresso martinis with Shane. And we're going to have
- 54:17Speaker 3: a Western-themed party. And here they have these men with
- 54:21Speaker 3: their shirts off celebrating the fact that this guy was
- 54:25Speaker 3: just in prison with men.
- 54:27Speaker 4: For 30 years. Little tone deaf.
- 54:31Speaker 3: It's a little tone. Like they just got out of
- 54:33Speaker 3: prison and it's like, he just got out of prison,
- 54:35Speaker 3: but to make some, Hey guys, take a photo with
- 54:38Speaker 3: these hot guys.
- 54:38Speaker 4: Let's do some wine dancing.
- 54:40Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 54:40Speaker 3: Let's do some wine dancing. And then.
- 54:42Speaker 4: There are all these parties too on reality TV. It's like,
- 54:45Speaker 4: you get it like a, a personalized cowboy hat. It's like,
- 54:48Speaker 4: they always like in the club, remember the ax throwing?
- 54:51Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 54:51Speaker 4: It's always like a group. They, they like hang on
- 54:54Speaker 4: to it.
- 54:54Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 54:54Speaker 3: So they, they make some money at the event. Then
- 54:57Speaker 3: I have a photo of this guy and.
- 54:59Speaker 4: I'm just like, what is that going on?
- 55:03Speaker 3: This guy's outfit, he was line dancing and I just was,
- 55:05Speaker 3: I saw this and I was like, okay, which of
- 55:08Speaker 3: the housewives did he slide into their DMs to get
- 55:11Speaker 3: invited to this?
- 55:11Speaker 4: Oh yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 55:12Speaker 3: And now he's best friends.
- 55:14Speaker 4: By the way, all of those guys are best friends
- 55:15Speaker 4: of the housewives.
- 55:16Speaker 3: Like, Yeah, like, and then, oh, you can come to
- 55:19Speaker 3: the Innocence Project, and he's dancing around. And then, of course,
- 55:24Speaker 3: Shannon's doing her schtick, trying to dance, and I like
- 55:30Speaker 3: to dance. Okay. How long are we going to get,
- 55:36Speaker 3: is anyone going to get tired of the comedic schtick
- 55:39Speaker 3: of Shannon? I mean, when you think, when you watch
- 55:42Speaker 3: an old episode of it, back when She was married
- 55:46Speaker 3: to David. There was none of this weird goofiness. Yeah,
- 55:52Speaker 3: you're right.
- 55:55Speaker 4: Like I said, we were just like, wait, why do
- 55:57Speaker 4: you have all those lemons in a bowl and you
- 55:59Speaker 4: have stuff in your ceiling and you go to this
- 56:00Speaker 4: weird doctor named Dr.
- 56:02Speaker 3: Moon?
- 56:02Speaker 4: That was kind of what filled that space, but now
- 56:07Speaker 4: she can be performative, for sure.
- 56:11Speaker 3: It's kind of like where people would go back and
- 56:13Speaker 3: show clips of britney of vanderpump and valley which i
- 56:17Speaker 3: mean i i like her a lot but like her
- 56:21Speaker 3: accent wasn't that strong now maybe in the beginning she
- 56:24Speaker 3: was hiding the accent because she was embarrassed by it
- 56:27Speaker 3: and or maybe it's because she's been so close to
- 56:30Speaker 3: her mom that she's like picked it up again but
- 56:32Speaker 3: it is kind of funny where it's like yeah you
- 56:35Speaker 3: know because i remember she would start to say people's
- 56:38Speaker 3: you know last name shanna bedore and then she You know,
- 56:41Speaker 3: I'm assuming they were like, hey, make sure you, that's
- 56:44Speaker 3: funny that you always say someone's last name. And she says,
- 56:47Speaker 3: then says it about herself and, you know, does her
- 56:49Speaker 3: whole thing. But, you know, here she's trying to dance,
- 56:53Speaker 3: you know, and getting her, trying to do her dancing.
- 56:55Speaker 4: Can I just tell you, I was at a restaurant
- 56:57Speaker 4: about four weeks ago and her dad came in. Shannon's dad.
- 57:02Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 57:03Speaker 2: Gene.
- 57:04Speaker 4: And he walks in with a friend and they sat
- 57:07Speaker 4: behind me.
- 57:08Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 57:09Speaker 4: And they called Shannon on speaker in a very busy restaurant.
- 57:13Speaker 4: And I heard the whole conversation. Yeah, but that's kind
- 57:16Speaker 4: of made me realize like she's so much like her dad.
- 57:20Speaker 3: Yeah. Like it's like that.
- 57:23Speaker 4: So those scenes are pretty funny. But he was like
- 57:25Speaker 4: needed her for everything. I wish they showed that part
- 57:28Speaker 4: of her life.
- 57:28Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 57:29Speaker 4: Because everyone's like, oh, you're so pathetic. Not pathetic, but like,
- 57:32Speaker 4: aren't you sad? Your kids are gone. But having been
- 57:35Speaker 4: witness to that, I'm like, I think she has to.
- 57:38Speaker 4: help with her dad a lot. His friend had the
- 57:40Speaker 4: phone up like this, raised at the table, and they
- 57:43Speaker 4: were like, Shannon, how do you do this? How do
- 57:46Speaker 4: you do that? And she's like, what? I can't hear you.
- 57:49Speaker 4: You're at a restaurant. And I just was like, I'm
- 57:51Speaker 4: inside of an episode. So I think she's actually maybe
- 57:55Speaker 4: turning into her dad.
- 57:57Speaker 3: Yeah, and also older people do prefer speakerphone because it
- 58:00Speaker 3: is harder to hear than if you put it up
- 58:02Speaker 3: to your ear. But anyway, so it was fun. Tamara
- 58:06Speaker 3: and Gretchen, you know, don't have their face to face.
- 58:10Speaker 3: It's going to continue. They're going to Amsterdam next week.
- 58:14Speaker 3: And they're.
- 58:16Speaker 4: That's going to be the big episode that everyone's talking about, right?
- 58:18Speaker 3: Yeah. And they go to like a color me mine
- 58:20Speaker 3: for dildos. That's going to be make your own dildo. Wow.
- 58:24Speaker 3: So that'll be fun. And yeah.
- 58:27Speaker 4: So whose idea was that?
- 58:29Speaker 3: To go to Amsterdam?
- 58:30Speaker 4: No, the idea for the Color Me Mine dildo place.
- 58:33Speaker 4: Like whose idea was that?
- 58:33Speaker 3: I don't know if it's Color Me Mine dildo. I
- 58:35Speaker 3: think it's like make your own dildo or whatever. It's just,
- 58:37Speaker 3: you know.
- 58:38Speaker 5: Okay.
- 58:39Speaker 3: It's a pretty good thing to do on a TV show. Okay. Now,
- 58:44Speaker 3: oh my gosh. Worst divorce ever.
- 58:47Speaker 4: I know.
- 58:48Speaker 3: Denise Richards divorcing Aaron Pfeiffer's. Pfeiffer's?
- 58:52Speaker 4: Pfeiffer.
- 58:52Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 58:53Speaker 3: Pfeiffer.
- 58:54Speaker 4: She should never have married him based on that last
- 58:56Speaker 4: name alone. What a nightmare. Began with a lot.
- 59:00Speaker 3: He had the audacity to say that, well, he's denying
- 59:06Speaker 3: all physical abuse. Of course. And he just says that
- 59:09Speaker 3: she bruises everything. easily.
- 59:11Speaker 4: Okay. She's got an iron deficiency. Okay, Erin, he's the worst.
- 59:15Speaker 3: He's the worst.
- 59:15Speaker 4: And you go back in time and all those women
- 59:17Speaker 4: hated him. They were all right. I feel bad looking back, too,
- 59:21Speaker 4: because what do you do when you know someone is
- 59:25Speaker 4: in a bad relationship and you're like, There's nothing I
- 59:27Speaker 4: can do. It has to be their choice to leave.
- 59:29Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 59:31Speaker 4: And she would just freak out on you if you
- 59:32Speaker 4: said anything bad about him. But like he showed displayed
- 59:35Speaker 4: crazy signs from the very beginning. And the fact that
- 59:38Speaker 4: his family was living in that house all the time,
- 59:42Speaker 4: her house. Talk about grifters.
- 59:45Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 59:45Speaker 4: What a bunch of grifters.
- 59:47Speaker 3: He's the worst. Oh, just a reminder, everybody, I'll be
- 59:51Speaker 3: at the MGM Grand on November 14th. So get your
- 59:55Speaker 3: tickets at HeatherMcDoll.net. You can also join my Patreon there. Okay,
- 59:59Speaker 3: a little update with the Blake Lively situation.
- 1:00:02Speaker 4: Don't you feel like this case has gone on for
- 1:00:04Speaker 4: 19 years? It's gone on forever, and.
- 1:00:05Speaker 3: It's another one of those things that I think people are, like,
- 1:00:07Speaker 3: lost interest in, kind of.
- 1:00:09Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:00:09Speaker 3: Like our audiences. But anyway, Blake Lively's proposed It Ends
- 1:00:14Speaker 3: With Us contract reveals six-figure bonus plan if she had
- 1:00:18Speaker 3: won an Oscar for her role.
- 1:00:21Speaker 4: Presumptuous to believe you're going to get an Oscar nomination.
- 1:00:23Speaker 3: But also, I don't think that's that crazy or that weird.
- 1:00:26Speaker 3: I don't know if they, I don't think, I think
- 1:00:29Speaker 3: it's juicy.
- 1:00:30Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:00:30Speaker 3: I don't think it means anything. If in doing the contract,
- 1:00:34Speaker 3: whether she asked for it or not, maybe she's someone like, yeah,
- 1:00:38Speaker 3: I'm going to do all I can to get eyes
- 1:00:41Speaker 3: on this and I'm going to do the best job
- 1:00:44Speaker 3: I can and that's a goal setting for me. I
- 1:00:48Speaker 3: don't know.
- 1:00:48Speaker 4: I just think it would have been highly unlikely that
- 1:00:51Speaker 4: that movie would have ever been nominated for any kind
- 1:00:54Speaker 4: of award. I don't know. But if it was Jessica Chastain,
- 1:00:59Speaker 4: I'd go, yeah, you deserve the extra $ 600, 000. But Blake Lively?
- 1:01:03Speaker 3: Yeah, but everybody– but when you start living– being this actress,
- 1:01:08Speaker 3: you're always thinking of what is that role? I mean,
- 1:01:10Speaker 3: people would look for a role.
- 1:01:12Speaker 4: I know, but there's a difference between the Blake Lively's
- 1:01:15Speaker 4: and the Jessica Chastain's. So then I'm like looking at
- 1:01:18Speaker 4: the people that encircle you, who make you believe that
- 1:01:21Speaker 4: you have a chance at an Oscar.
- 1:01:23Speaker 3: Well, then what a great deal then. You don't have
- 1:01:26Speaker 3: any chance of an Oscar.
- 1:01:27Speaker 4: Okay.
- 1:01:28Speaker 3: So you're going to get a million dollars more if
- 1:01:29Speaker 3: you get an Oscar. I think the team.
- 1:01:33Speaker 4: Who's writing up the contract is like, okay.
- 1:01:35Speaker 3: Yeah, but I think that's kind of a great win-win. Like,
- 1:01:37Speaker 3: it's no money off our back if you don't get it.
- 1:01:39Speaker 3: And if you get it, more people will than be
- 1:01:42Speaker 3: inclined to watch it. Well, sure, if it happens. And
- 1:01:44Speaker 3: you have to win. It wasn't just to be nominated. Like,
- 1:01:47Speaker 3: you'd actually have to have won it.
- 1:01:49Speaker 4: Like, that is so hard. I just feel like that's
- 1:01:51Speaker 4: like me saying I'm going to win the Olympic roller
- 1:01:54Speaker 4: skating challenge.
- 1:01:54Speaker 3: Like, I, like.
- 1:01:57Speaker 6: Right.
- 1:01:57Speaker 3: Come on. I just thought it was kind of interesting thing.
- 1:02:00Speaker 3: Cause I'm like, I know I've been in like a
- 1:02:03Speaker 3: room with a couple of people throughout my life, different
- 1:02:06Speaker 3: times where they're trying to get the rights to a role. Yeah.
- 1:02:11Speaker 3: Because they're like, this will be my Oscar nom. If
- 1:02:13Speaker 3: I play this real life person.
- 1:02:15Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:02:16Speaker 3: Like, If I'm ever going to get one, I think
- 1:02:19Speaker 3: I could embody that person and get to that place,
- 1:02:22Speaker 3: even though I maybe am a comedic actor or whatever.
- 1:02:25Speaker 3: You know, I mean, there is that thing when you
- 1:02:27Speaker 3: get to a certain place in your career where you're like,
- 1:02:30Speaker 3: what are the things that I could get that could
- 1:02:32Speaker 3: ever get me in like the nomination?
- 1:02:34Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:02:35Speaker 3: I mean, people are saying like Jennifer Lopez, this kiss
- 1:02:37Speaker 3: of the spider woman. Yeah. This might be the thing.
- 1:02:40Speaker 3: It wasn't the hustler. Which I was always like.
- 1:02:43Speaker 4: But do you think that the entertainment lawyers go out
- 1:02:45Speaker 4: for drinks and then they sort of swap stories and
- 1:02:48Speaker 4: they're like, let me tell you what my client was thinking.
- 1:02:51Speaker 4: I mean, that would be a conversation I'd like to overhear.
- 1:02:54Speaker 3: Yeah. Instead of Shannon Bedore's dad asking how to.
- 1:03:02Speaker 4: Like this. He was like, Shannon.
- 1:03:05Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:03:06Speaker 4: Archie, I'm trying to.
- 1:03:07Speaker 3: Talk to your grandpa. Oh, my God. Interesting. Would you
- 1:03:15Speaker 3: ever want to climb Mount Everest?
- 1:03:17Speaker 2: No.
- 1:03:18Speaker 3: Have you heard about all the Mount Everest talk that's
- 1:03:21Speaker 3: been happening lately?
- 1:03:21Speaker 4: Yeah, I feel like I see videos of people and
- 1:03:23Speaker 4: they're like shaking and losing their minds. I'm like, why
- 1:03:27Speaker 4: do this?
- 1:03:27Speaker 3: So there's like this whole like trend going on where
- 1:03:30Speaker 3: all of a sudden people are really talking about Mount Everest,
- 1:03:33Speaker 3: showing videos and whatever because they feel that In this
- 1:03:40Speaker 3: last one where people were stuck up there, though they
- 1:03:42Speaker 3: all did get home okay, people really started to analyze, like,
- 1:03:46Speaker 3: what a selfish thing this is to try to climb
- 1:03:49Speaker 3: to the top of Mount Everest. Not only is it
- 1:03:51Speaker 3: super expensive, it's expensive because you have these people.
- 1:03:55Speaker 4: That have to go and make sure you're okay.
- 1:03:57Speaker 3: How do you pronounce the Sherpas?
- 1:03:58Speaker 4: Sherpas.
- 1:03:59Speaker 3: Sherpas that help you do it. And this is their livelihood.
- 1:04:02Speaker 3: This is, like, what they do. Yet they're risking their
- 1:04:05Speaker 3: lives also to get you on and off the mountain again.
- 1:04:09Speaker 3: And there's video of like where people would be like
- 1:04:11Speaker 3: climbing a mountain and you just see someone like fall
- 1:04:14Speaker 3: off of it, but you can't go and save them.
- 1:04:16Speaker 3: Otherwise you're going to die. Like it was just nightmare.
- 1:04:19Speaker 3: Nothing I'd ever want to do. And, um, yeah, I
- 1:04:25Speaker 3: just thought I, I just, it is, it is, it
- 1:04:29Speaker 3: is a crazy thing. And I don't know. And then
- 1:04:31Speaker 3: someone also said, if you could climb Mount Everest, um,
- 1:04:37Speaker 3: And it's something you want to do. But you can
- 1:04:42Speaker 3: never tell anybody that you climbed Mount Everest.
- 1:04:44Speaker 4: Oh, they would never do it.
- 1:04:44Speaker 3: And you could never take a photo and you could never.
- 1:04:47Speaker 4: Forget it. No one would do it.
- 1:04:49Speaker 3: I will never understand.
- 1:04:51Speaker 4: I think we live in a time where people are like,
- 1:04:53Speaker 4: how do I go viral? Like, how do I look
- 1:04:55Speaker 4: better than my friends on social media? I'm going to
- 1:04:57Speaker 4: go to climb Mount Everest. And then I'm going to
- 1:04:59Speaker 4: do a whole video series about my whole experience. I
- 1:05:03Speaker 4: think it's like outdoing one after another. It's absurd. Next,
- 1:05:08Speaker 4: it's going to be like people on like skyscrapers, like
- 1:05:10Speaker 4: doing the tightrope. It's like people have lost their minds.
- 1:05:14Speaker 3: Yeah, people have all done that and people are dying.
- 1:05:16Speaker 3: I wonder if there'll be a way soon that you
- 1:05:19Speaker 3: can fake climbing Mount Everest. Not through AI, but you
- 1:05:23Speaker 3: know how like sometimes people would do that with like
- 1:05:26Speaker 3: running a marathon? Yes. Where all of a sudden they
- 1:05:28Speaker 3: would just join. Yeah, they just join the thing. Like
- 1:05:31Speaker 3: I wonder if you could just like do that somehow like, Like, okay,
- 1:05:35Speaker 3: we're going to drop you off over here. And then
- 1:05:36Speaker 3: you're just going to be like, oh, hey.
- 1:05:38Speaker 4: And then you join.
- 1:05:39Speaker 3: You're like, then you go around the corner and your
- 1:05:41Speaker 3: helicopter like picks you up or whatever.
- 1:05:43Speaker 4: Take the picture at the peak.
- 1:05:45Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:05:45Speaker 4: Probably.
- 1:05:46Speaker 3: All these kind of things just I'm like nothing.
- 1:05:48Speaker 4: Can you imagine the obituary of the person that did
- 1:05:50Speaker 4: the tightrope and that's how they died? And then the
- 1:05:52Speaker 4: person who had to write it like this idiot wanted
- 1:05:56Speaker 4: so badly to make it past 100,000 followers that they
- 1:05:59Speaker 4: came up with this cockamamie plan. They didn't know what
- 1:06:03Speaker 4: they were doing.
- 1:06:04Speaker 3: This is what happens when you act like you like
- 1:06:06Speaker 3: hiking with a guy. And the next thing you know,
- 1:06:09Speaker 3: 10 years later, you're like, how do I get out
- 1:06:12Speaker 3: of this thing? Like, don't lie about wanting to go hike,
- 1:06:16Speaker 3: extreme hikes. Don't say you like camping if you don't.
- 1:06:20Speaker 4: Don't say you want to go snorkeling if you get
- 1:06:23Speaker 4: panic attacks. Like, stop.
- 1:06:24Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:06:25Speaker 4: Just be authentically yourself. I want to just stay home
- 1:06:27Speaker 4: and watch Netflix.
- 1:06:29Speaker 3: Yes.
- 1:06:29Speaker 4: It's a better long game plan to just be upfront
- 1:06:33Speaker 4: about all the things you don't want to do.
- 1:06:34Speaker 3: Okay. Tell me what are we supposed to be watching
- 1:06:37Speaker 3: this week?
- 1:06:38Speaker 4: Okay. If you like basketball, watch Starting Five on Netflix.
- 1:06:41Speaker 4: That follows five NBA players, and they're all really likable.
- 1:06:45Speaker 4: And you don't even have to love basketball to watch it.
- 1:06:48Speaker 4: If you like football, watch two of them. Saquon on
- 1:06:51Speaker 4: Amazon Prime about Saquon Barkley, who plays for the Eagles.
- 1:06:54Speaker 4: God bless. Thank you. And there's also The Many Lives
- 1:06:58Speaker 4: of Lane Kiffin. Do you remember when he was a
- 1:07:00Speaker 4: coach at USC?
- 1:07:01Speaker 6: No.
- 1:07:01Speaker 4: It was during the Reggie Bush era.
- 1:07:02Speaker 5: Okay.
- 1:07:03Speaker 4: He's now at Ole Miss and ESPN made a doc
- 1:07:05Speaker 4: about him and he's sober now. So it's kind of
- 1:07:07Speaker 4: an interesting life story.
- 1:07:08Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:07:09Speaker 4: True Crime, The Perfect Neighbor on Netflix later this week.
- 1:07:13Speaker 4: And then Love is Blind. The episodes are absolutely bonkers.
- 1:07:19Speaker 4: They're not exceptionally attractive.
- 1:07:22Speaker 3: The people.
- 1:07:23Speaker 4: Yes. However, there are a lot of like weird characters
- 1:07:27Speaker 4: that are a lot to unpack. And I also kind
- 1:07:30Speaker 4: of like the Victoria Beckham doc series on Netflix.
- 1:07:33Speaker 3: She has a whole series?
- 1:07:35Speaker 4: Yeah, it kind of follows her business.
- 1:07:36Speaker 3: What do you think happened to his face? Just filler?
- 1:07:38Speaker 3: David Beckham got like an extra filler.
- 1:07:40Speaker 4: I think that his doctor is probably like, well, you
- 1:07:43Speaker 4: know what Tom Cruise is doing? And just kind of
- 1:07:45Speaker 4: made it up. And then like tried out something.
- 1:07:47Speaker 3: It'll settle down. Yeah.
- 1:07:49Speaker 4: But when you watch that series, they feel like they
- 1:07:51Speaker 4: really are a good couple. I don't know what's going
- 1:07:54Speaker 4: on with their one son and the weird wife. They
- 1:07:58Speaker 4: all hate each other now, but I think Victoria and
- 1:08:01Speaker 4: David are pretty solid. She does talk about it in
- 1:08:04Speaker 4: the series that she has struggled with an eating disorder.
- 1:08:08Speaker 3: Victoria Beckham does? Yeah.
- 1:08:12Speaker 4: I was surprised that she talked about it. And then
- 1:08:16Speaker 4: there was one other one, and now it's slipping my mind.
- 1:08:20Speaker 4: But you can get that at katecasey.substock.com. Every Monday I
- 1:08:24Speaker 4: give you a list of what to watch. So if
- 1:08:27Speaker 4: you're like, oh, God, what do I watch this week?
- 1:08:29Speaker 4: I always have tons of options for you.
- 1:08:31Speaker 3: Yes. And then she interviews lots of the filmmakers, the documentarians.
- 1:08:35Speaker 3: That's kind of like your vibe along with everything else
- 1:08:38Speaker 3: and following all the fun stuff that we do too here.
