- Lucas: Hey Luna, ready for another episode? Luna: Totally! I've been practicing our doctor phrases. 'నాకు జ్వరం వచ్చింది' — I have a fever, right? Lucas: Exactly. Great memory. And today we're going to add a few more phrases that are super useful in an emergency. Luna: Oh, good. I always worry I won't know what to say if something really happens. Lucas: That's why we're here. Today's first phrase: 'నాకు సహాయం కావాలి'. It means 'I need help.' Say it with me: నాకు సహాయం కావాలి. Luna: నాకు సహాయం కావాలి. నాకు సహాయం కావాలి. Lucas: Perfect. నాకు means 'to me' or 'I need', సహాయం is 'help', కావాలి is 'want/need'. So literally 'I need help'. Luna: That's clear. So if I'm really in trouble, I say 'నాకు సహాయం కావాలి'. Lucas: Yes. Now let's add the next one: 'డాక్టర్ ని పిలువండి'. That's 'Call a doctor'. డాక్టర్ is doctor, పిలువండి is 'please call'. Repeat. Luna: డాక్టర్ ని పిలువండి. డాక్టర్ ని పిలువండి. That's a mouthful but I'll get it. Lucas: You've got it. Now imagine you're at a clinic and you need urgent help. You could say 'నాకు అత్యవసరం' — 'I have an emergency'. Luna: నాకు అత్యవసరం. What's అత్యవసరం? Lucas: It means 'emergency'. So 'నాకు అత్యవసరం' is 'I have an emergency'. Luna: Got it. నాకు అత్యవసరం. Good for when you need to be taken seriously. Lucas: Exactly. And one more: 'ఇక్కడ చూడండి' — 'Look here' or 'Look at this'. ఇక్కడ means 'here', చూడండి is 'look'. Luna: ఇక్కడ చూడండి. So if I have a pain somewhere, I can point and say that. Lucas: Right. You could say 'ఇక్కడ చూడండి, నొప్పి ఉంది' — 'Look here, there is pain'. Luna: Oh that's smart. Combining with what we learned last time. And if they ask where it hurts, you say 'ఇక్కడ చూడండి' and point. Luna: Perfect. I feel more prepared now. Lucas: Great. Let's wrap up.
