- 0:00Hello everybody, and welcome to Honey Badger Radio and Honey Badger Arcade. I'm
- 0:05your host, Brian here using the Vivian James puppet. No, I am
- 0:10not a YouTuber. No I am not confused about my gender. This is
- 0:14simply a symbol of what it is that we are fighting for in the culture
- 0:18war, at least this sort of corner of it. And this is Badger
- 0:23Pod gamer Gate, the return of Badger Pod gamer Gate. We needs to
- 0:26do this back in twenty fourteen, twenty fifteen, it looks like it is
- 0:29now necessary once again, so welcome everyone to the show wherever you might be
- 0:36watching a quick shout out to the Rumble Gang or helping us grow alternative programming
- 0:43on this platform. And before we get into it, I will ask that
- 0:48you guys please consider subscribing to the channel, either Badger Live Streams or Honey
- 0:53Badger Arcade, whichever you prefer. If you're more of like a gaming nerd
- 0:58or whatever, go to Honey Badger Arcade if you want like the really deep
- 1:00dives into the political nuance and like all of the crazy stuff going on in
- 1:06the world, and check out Badger live Streams if your heart can take it,
- 1:10okay, So Badger Pod gamer Gate is basically a series that we used
- 1:15to do back in twenty fourteen, twenty fifteen that discusses everything that was going
- 1:21on with the gamer gate hashtag and now that Gamergate has sort of well,
- 1:26if you ask me, it never went away. Like the whole thing is
- 1:29essentially a massive cultural attack that's happening to our space, and the purpose of
- 1:37it is to I think, re engineer society, direct and force behaviors,
- 1:42as mister Larry Fink says, and we are aware of it. We know
- 1:47what they're doing, and we should be able to speak out. So that's
- 1:49what we are up to. Okay. So I am currently in Twitter spaces
- 1:56and I see there's a few people in here already. So if you guys
- 2:00want to join the Twitter space, I could call on you to like basically,
- 2:05you know, if you have a few things that you want to say,
- 2:07I'll make you into a speaker temporarily, let you say some stuff we're
- 2:10regarding, like you know, the the topic. And before we get into
- 2:15that, though, there's a couple of news items I want to talk about,
- 2:20and then I'll take some of your commentary. I see we got chit
- 2:23chat cat and problematic white guy dev David Devan welcome. If you guys want
- 2:30to be called on, I think you can like raise your hand. I'm
- 2:34not really sure how this works in Twitter spaces, but I'll figure it out.
- 2:37I've done it like once before, so it can be a bit a
- 2:40bit tough. But we're gonna look at some stuff going on in in the
- 2:47space, and I think it's good stuff. So bear just okay to be
- 2:55aware. So you guys know grums. His name is Mark Kern. He
- 3:00is a game developer. He used to work for Blizzard Entertainment and was a
- 3:07big man in charge of the production of games like StarCraft and World of Warcraft,
- 3:14so no slouch in that department. He was pretty active during gamer Gay
- 3:19back in twenty fourteen, but he has definitely stepped up a lot more.
- 3:23I think that in the amount of time that has passed, him and a
- 3:28lot of other people have become more aware of, like I guess you know,
- 3:32how serious it is, how important culture is. I don't know about
- 3:38you, but I don't want to live in a world of brutalist structures and
- 3:43no art and no fun. It is a tool of demoralization. It is
- 3:49intended to destroy our will and our desire for beauty, and I want to
- 3:54fight against that. I feel very strongly about that, and that's why gamer
- 3:58game matters to me. So anyway, Grums has been pretty vocal. Essentially,
- 4:03he's turned into the lives of TikTok for Gamergate. All he does is
- 4:08he goes and posts the kind of things that various community managers and people in
- 4:14HR and other sort of positions of tremendous social power are saying. And he's
- 4:20just putting it out there and sharing it with people. It's their words,
- 4:24and they hate him for it. It is like they say, you know,
- 4:28in the what is it in the in the New Testament, they hated
- 4:31Jesus because he told them the truth. It's basically that. So, oh
- 4:36hey in q CEL, welcome, So what is the deal with There's a
- 4:42couple of things about this that I really want to touch on. So what
- 4:45is the deal with these community managers? So I'm not one to like get
- 4:50into every little event every time somebody tweets or every little thing that comes out
- 4:56of Twitter, because it's it's sort of an endless slog and I think that
- 5:00it's more useful to sort of say, here is the pattern, here's where
- 5:06it comes from, this is what you're dealing with. Okay, so this
- 5:11is from that park place. Jonathan Trent is a friend of the channel.
- 5:15I have interviewed him on HBr along with John Dela Ros. I also have
- 5:18one of his websites, which is fandom Pulse on here as well. Just
- 5:23a quick shout out to those guys. If you're not following them, you
- 5:26should, because they're doing good work over there. They're not They're trying to
- 5:30do real journalism and tell us what's really going on, and not all of
- 5:32it is sort of like culture war oriented, and it's just legitimately informative.
- 5:39And I think that if they became a more viable platform, then we can
- 5:43get you know, we can essentially like benefit more as a culture from people
- 5:47who are being honest. So the headline of this article is hell Divers to
- 5:53community manager declares game is quote pretty woke end quote, and reveals game was
- 5:58banning individuals deemed bigots, transphobes, homophobes, and racists. And I don't
- 6:05know if you guys are aware of Hell Divers too, but tremendously popular game
- 6:10right now. It's it's got memes all over the Internet. And one of
- 6:14the main reasons why I think it's very popular is because it is made by
- 6:17people who just wanted to make a fun game for the most part. The
- 6:21problem is is that sometimes developers, programmers and the people who are doing the
- 6:28really hard work of essentially keeping the games up to date, keeping everything working,
- 6:31and making sure that we're all having fun, they don't have the time
- 6:35to essentially manage communities and communicate with the customers, you know, like and
- 6:42get feedback from those customers, so they hire community managers. Also, a
- 6:46lot of times these guys are kind of introverted and it's not really like what
- 6:48they're good at, so they get people that they think would be would fit
- 6:51the bill. And the problem with that is that's where the entryism happens.
- 6:56And so you have this this event, this sort of it's not even an
- 7:00event. It's a climate of human resources people and community managers and moderators and
- 7:08people who run the forums and discussions and all that, and they're all politically
- 7:13like infected. I'll just say, as as Gad Sad says, they have
- 7:17this woke social justice parasite that they're carrying with them because they picked it up
- 7:24in their universities and in schools and it's all around them, so they just
- 7:29take it with them into the workplace. This is why, by the way,
- 7:31when you point out what they're doing is woke, they they're actually kind
- 7:35of like shocked because they think that their perspective is common sense. They think
- 7:40that what they're doing is just like normal, like any decent, normal human
- 7:44beings should believe these things that I believe, and they don't realize that they're
- 7:46actually like pretty insufferable. So let's read a little bit of this article.
- 7:53Hell Divers two community manager Catherine Baskin declares that the game is pretty woke and
- 7:59reveals the game was an individuals she and the developer Arrowhead Game Studios, deemed
- 8:03bigots, transphobes, homophobes, and racists. As brought to public attention by
- 8:07Mark Kern aka grums on x last month, Baskin replied to a Steam curator
- 8:13list that recommended hell Divers too and claimed the game was not woke. She
- 8:16initially just wrote LMAO. However, in a response later in the thread,
- 8:22she wrote, plus, Helldivers is pretty woke, dog because, like you
- 8:26know, overweight white chicks should not say dog as like a way to accent
- 8:30their sentence. Just a word of advice. Don't don't. It sounds wrong.
- 8:33And you know, we minorities, we haven't said dog like that in
- 8:37like decades, So you just look like a boomer. Anyway, game was
- 8:41made by a lot of LGBTQ and brown people and black people and women,
- 8:46and it's a big satire of jingoism. She added, It amuses me they
- 8:50don't know that Super Earth is bad. It also explains a lot about the
- 8:52world at present. Okay, So I just want to apply to this in
- 8:58a couple of ways. So I got into a little bit of a spat,
- 9:03and I want to get into a little bit of the I don't like
- 9:05again to get into the minutia because it's not as important as the overall pattern.
- 9:09But I guess I see this as an opportunity to show you, like,
- 9:13why does she believe this even though we don't, Okay, because like
- 9:18we're looking at the same thing, but she's seeing something different from us.
- 9:24We know that what's happening is it's kind of like there's a send up of
- 9:28all of these kind of eighties and nineties, you know, military flicks,
- 9:33mostly taking from Starship Troopers, but not exclusively. That's what the first game
- 9:37was. Like, I played the first game, and it's just like the
- 9:41It's just more like the esthetic. It's not like they were saying, this
- 9:46is our politics and we're putting it in the game. So when you're just
- 9:50putting like an esthetic or a theme of something and you make it look silly,
- 9:54I mean, the game is comical, you know as hell, while
- 9:58also being pretty violent. These people don't see that because they don't they don't
- 10:03know what fun is. So to them everything has to mean something. And
- 10:07so what happened on Twitter was somebody was echoing these statements and I said,
- 10:11so what makes well? I actually started by saying, actually, it's not
- 10:16jingoism and it's not fascism, because it was an ign guy that said,
- 10:18oh yeah, it's fascism, but it's fun, right, Like we needed
- 10:22to hear the first part of that, Like, who cares, I don't
- 10:24care what it is, like, is the game fun? That's it.
- 10:26See the fact that they even say, well it's fascist or it's jingoist or
- 10:31whatever, but it's fun. They're they're still sending the first part of that
- 10:35message there still want you to think of it in this negative way, even
- 10:39though they're saying, but no, but you know what, I'm kidding,
- 10:41bro, it's kind of like, you know, it's like that I'm just
- 10:43saying meme, like just saying, you know, no, you're not just
- 10:46saying you're trying to deliver a message, but you don't want to get caught
- 10:50out because you're doing it in such a like cowardly way. Really, it's
- 10:56a it's a cowards way. Why don't you just admit that you're alert to
- 11:00fun and move on because the rest of us are just having fun. Well
- 11:05anyway, I said, well, it's it's it's actually managed democracy, and
- 11:09that's how they describe it. Now, I'm not for managed democracy. That's
- 11:13but that's not really what this whole thing is about. It's not about what
- 11:16I like or dislike in the real world. I'm just pointing out what the
- 11:20game's themes are, right, And somebody got like, you know, like
- 11:24tried to like educate me on what it was even and tried to insult my
- 11:28intelligence, saying, well, you know, I feel like I'm arguing with
- 11:31myself from when I was nine years old herder and I say, you know,
- 11:35this sounds like what you're trying to do is you're trying to make the
- 11:39case that the faction that the players play as, which is super Earth,
- 11:46is worse than the people that were fighting against, which are the automatons and
- 11:52the bugs, right, And he was like, well they are. And
- 11:54I was like, well, based on what, like what's an automatons society
- 11:56look like? What does a bug society look like? Do we really want
- 12:01that? What happens if every player in the game stops playing the game?
- 12:05You know what happens, I mean, besides the servers being shut down,
- 12:07the bugs and automatons move in on Super Earth and annihilate everybody. So that's
- 12:13like it's a war. That's it. It's a war like and and it
- 12:18bugs me because they're trying to they're trying to put their morality into it.
- 12:22They're trying to make it fit into this fictional world of giant bugs and robots
- 12:28and humans like that, I mean, like the and they're saying the humans
- 12:31are worse, and it sort of shows like what they think like and to
- 12:35bring it to something political in the real world, it's that you know,
- 12:39you are the carbon. They're trying to reduce like I just saw like a
- 12:43I forget her name, but she was like a woman who studies gorillas and
- 12:50like primates and primatologists, I think they call it. And she was at
- 12:54the World Economic Forum saying that we need to reduce the human population to ten
- 12:58percent. Like that's she's the woman that would say, you know, the
- 13:01humans in hell Divers too, are actually the villains and the bugs should eat
- 13:05them all and kill them or the robots. So it's like, this isn't
- 13:09about the game. It tells you what is in their hearts, like what
- 13:15they really think and I and I said, so to me, it sounds
- 13:20like Warhammer forty thousands, So if you guys are familiar with Warhammer forty thousand
- 13:24or Warhammer forty k as a lot of people call it today, like the
- 13:26human faction or the imperium of man is like no one in that world is
- 13:33good, okay, Like let's get this straight. There is no good side,
- 13:37but the imperium of man is probably the least awful. And I said,
- 13:41well maybe, I mean, like you could argue at least that they're
- 13:46the most like us, like as humans. And I asked them about that
- 13:50and he said, no, like they're at least as bad, if not
- 13:52worse. And I'm like, worse than like the chaos demons, worse than
- 13:56the fucking like the dark Eldar, like worse than these other actions. Are
- 14:00you fucking kidding me? But yeah, of course they believe that. So
- 14:03so when she says that this stuff, like this person that's in charge of
- 14:09communication between the developers and the customer base, they're saying this, and you
- 14:16can see that, like, first of all, you can see what they
- 14:18think about humanity, but especially what they think about gamers because these people,
- 14:22community managers, HR people, et cetera. They hate gamers, Okay,
- 14:26and they do, and it's like they're like the worst people to hire on
- 14:33So and they're all wrong about this. Like again, if you can't just
- 14:35see it for what it is, which is a video game, then you
- 14:39probably shouldn't work there. And and I advise because like people were saying,
- 14:43oh, no, is hell divers woke? No, I don't think it
- 14:46is, Like I think that what we have to maintain is That's why I'm
- 14:50bringing all this up. The thing that we have to understand is that these
- 14:54people will interpret whatever they want out of it. And they will try to
- 14:58gaslight you into thinking something that isn't true. But I think you can tell
- 15:01if something is shoving political politics down your throat and if something is simply you
- 15:09know, has like political elements in it. For the most part, Hell
- 15:13Divers is a action team based co op game, period and everything else is
- 15:18just the backdrop for it. So you know, you can you can argue
- 15:22as jingoist or militaristic or whatever, that doesn't matter. It's like saying Call
- 15:28of Duty is right wing? Like why but this is what they would say
- 15:31though, Like that you see what I'm saying, like it's it's it's silly,
- 15:35but this makes an important point about something else. So I made a
- 15:41video on the channel Honey Badger Arcade about entryism and how these people do like
- 15:50enter into our our into into any space and they basically convert it into a
- 15:56woke space. First of all. Oh but before I keep going, let
- 16:00me know, like, how do I sound? Does the sound? Does
- 16:03it sound? Okay? I know that I got background music playing above me
- 16:07right now, and I don't know if that's like really really distracting. If
- 16:12it is, I'll lower the volume on it a little bit more. You
- 16:15might not even hear it. Actually, now that I think about it,
- 16:19I don't see any Oh no, it's it's playing. It's playing. It's
- 16:22just really low. Okay, I sound fine, thank you. Yeah,
- 16:30it's barely audible. Okay, I'm gonna raise it a little bit more because
- 16:33I don't I mean, I want it to be like low, but not
- 16:37not like silent. Everything sounds fine, okay, So anyway, I'll read
- 16:45some more. She added, it amuses me. They don't know that Super
- 16:47Earth is bad. It also explains a lot about the world at present.
- 16:49So what she's suggesting is is that if you don't think Super Earth is bad,
- 16:52it means that you're bad because she thinks that they're bad. That's what
- 16:56when she says, it also explains a lot about the world at present,
- 17:00That's what she's saying. She is criticizing you for having the wrong views.
- 17:03Okay. In the same thread, basket and reveal that she and developer Arrowhead
- 17:11Game Studios were banning individuals from the games discord that they deemed as bigots.
- 17:15She wrote, we only banned the bigots. Transphobes, homophobes, racist,
- 17:18et cetera. Are not welcome in our computer in our community. Sorry,
- 17:22we had to restrict the topics in the HD two general chats for a while
- 17:27because it was triggering massive waves of hate speech, which our staff was struggling
- 17:32with emotionally. She added, So this was when somebody said, didn't they
- 17:37ban people from the discord for suggesting they add LGBTQ colored capes, which I
- 17:42heard is true. Now again, so we have this community manager. She's
- 17:47obviously a communist. I'm just gonna call them communists. Is that okay?
- 17:49Do you mind if I call them communists? She's, you know, a
- 17:52communist, and she's basically saying, no, we only banned the bigots.
- 17:56So she gets to decide who the bigots are, and she gets to be
- 18:00involved with the banning. And she also, because she's the community manager,
- 18:03according to Grums, who spoke about this at length on a couple podcasts earlier
- 18:08this week, she gets to decide like what the people who run Arrowhead Studios
- 18:15that are not doing community management stuff, she gets to essentially interpret. She
- 18:21is the filter. So when they ask her like what does this community look
- 18:25like? Or you know who, how do these people feel about this game
- 18:29or whatever, she's the one that gets to say well, we do have
- 18:32some bigots, we should get rid of them, and they'll just be like
- 18:33okay, go ahead, right, Like there's no discernment because these guys don't
- 18:37have time because they're busy working on the game, you know. I mean,
- 18:41like especially Hell Divers too, because it's like a real time sort of
- 18:45like you know, it's like one of these games that evolves, so they
- 18:48need people constantly working on it to change things, ad missions, ad you
- 18:53know, elements whatever. It's almost like there's a game master that runs Hell
- 18:57Divers too, so she can essentially say these people are bad wrong and these
- 19:04people, you know, could stay or whatever, and that is the problem.
- 19:10So going back to what I was saying about entryism, and then I'll
- 19:12take some requests from people. The way that entryism works is like this a
- 19:18person. Step one. They ask to be included in the space. Now.
- 19:22Usually this is a very difficult place to stop people unless you're gonna have
- 19:27the time to basically be like really inquisitive and be like, okay, well
- 19:32what is your interest in this? Right? So they will ask to be
- 19:34included now. That's usually an easy one for them to pass. Like I
- 19:38said before, people don't tend to be exclusive on things. So this will
- 19:47use this woman as an example Baskin. So she's like, oh, I
- 19:52like video games too, May I join your company? I would like to
- 19:55be involved, and they would like see you know, they're oh, yeah,
- 19:59sure, why not. This is usually how it starts. The second
- 20:02step is they start asking for accommodation. So she'll be in there and she'll
- 20:07be like, we know, I like this place a lot, Like I'm
- 20:10totally a video game nerd and everything, and I love games, but like,
- 20:14well, you know, this isn't really like really super welcoming to women.
- 20:18Can we do something about that? Like I mean, just you know,
- 20:22maybe maybe I can have like my own little position and over here,
- 20:26you know, like I don't know if I want to be with these guys
- 20:30like a boys club, and I think that needs to change. And so
- 20:33what they'll do this is the step that's important. This is when you have
- 20:37to be like wait a minute, like I don't think you're legit. But
- 20:41a lot of people miss this step, and so they're like, Okay,
- 20:44we'll make some accommodations. We'll you know, we'll we'll we'll make some changes
- 20:49around here, and all of a sudden, they change the climate or the
- 20:52environment. Right, It's kind of like what happens you know, on the
- 20:57on Badel life streams. I talk to guys in the military, like veterans,
- 21:03right or they're currently enlisted and they and they you know, they get
- 21:07deployed here or there. And now there was a couple of guys I spoke
- 21:11to and I asked them about women in their units and they said that,
- 21:15you know, they very very infrequently had women in their units. And the
- 21:18reason is because the moment a woman joins a unit, and it doesn't matter
- 21:22if the women are there just to do the work, it changes the dynamic
- 21:26completely, like all of a sudden, the men are going to behave differently
- 21:30just because there's a woman there. And there are a number of policy issues
- 21:34that make that whole thing just hard to deal with, right. So let's
- 21:40so even in the places where it's probably the most crucial for people to be
- 21:45hardcore focused on the on the job, a little bit of accommodation can essentially
- 21:51throw that like all the way out. Imagine being in a military unit and
- 21:55there's someone there and you know that no one is operating at one hundred percent
- 21:59like that, it's like the stakes. The risk is just too high,
- 22:02right. So the second step is they ask for accommodation. The third step
- 22:07is that they want a seat at the table. They want to have some
- 22:12kind of power over a small like area. Maybe they ask for a department.
- 22:18Maybe they ask for a certain position. Maybe they ask for like a
- 22:21new department to be created, you know, or they asked to be community
- 22:25managers like this woman. And when they get a seat at the table,
- 22:30they start using that seat at the table to essentially try to take over the
- 22:34whole table. Okay, and that's the next step. They take over the
- 22:40whole table, and they'll do it. That could take a while, or
- 22:42it can be very fast. Sometimes you could just use something like me too,
- 22:45which has been done to take over entire companies. I think, and
- 22:51you know, maybe maybe you don't agree, or I don't know, but
- 22:53I think that the me too movement was what was used to kick a bunch
- 22:56of people out of Blizzard. I think it was used in a lot of
- 23:00different areas to essentially throw men out and replace them with women, because that's
- 23:04usually how it works, and they get power that way. It worked in
- 23:08the animation industry, and I think it worked in the video game industry in
- 23:12large part. I think it works in politics. It's worked in the corporate
- 23:17level, in the boardrooms, it's worked everywhere. So they start demanding control
- 23:22of the table, and then they want to control the whole space. And
- 23:27that's when you've lost it. Now if when they have a scene at the
- 23:30table, it is still possible to stop them. And what has to happen
- 23:36is that the people at the top have to number one girl spine and be
- 23:40willing to fire people. But also they have to be made aware of what
- 23:44is happening. If you look at Disney, the people at Disney, they're
- 23:48all possessed now, like when Walt was there. When Walt was alive,
- 23:52even this process had probably already started, Like maybe it was at the very
- 23:57like bottom levels, but it was probably already started. And now that Walt
- 24:02is like long dead and gone and these people run everything, there's almost no
- 24:06way to get it back. Okay, So this is entryism, and and
- 24:11there's a there's an extra insidious version of entryism that we call stochastic entryism,
- 24:18and that's what DEI is. So DEI is used to get people who are
- 24:26of from marginalized groups and women, which are not marginalized because there's literally a
- 24:32majority of them, but they count because patriarchy it's used to get them into
- 24:37these positions. And what the why it's it's called stochastic entrism, is that
- 24:45the people who are enforcing the dei they're banking on Essentially, it's like they're
- 24:49betting on the odds that the people that they're going to get in are also
- 24:52going to be woke people that want to change the that want to invite more
- 24:56of their woke friends. Because think of it like this, if you had
- 25:00to get into something on merit alone, then you're most likely gonna be really
- 25:04resistant to any likes kind of affirmative action, because you're gonna be like,
- 25:08well, I worked hard for this, and so I want I want to
- 25:11work in this position. But if you get in and you're convinced that the
- 25:15only reason why you got it was because of some system that was put in
- 25:19place to ensure that you got a position or increase your odds, and that
- 25:23otherwise you would never have gotten it because of systemic oppression and institutional systems of
- 25:30systemicness, then you're gonna be more likely to not just like treat your job
- 25:36as something that you are entitled to along with anything else you get out of
- 25:40it. But you're gonna be more likely to bring on more people, and
- 25:42you're all gonna have chips on your shoulder because you're convinced that you don't that
- 25:47you know you would, you're being kept out by like bigoted people, and
- 25:52so this will it's gonna have a domino effect and it's gonna it's gonna essentially
- 25:56destroy the company. And these people are okay with that. Money is a
- 26:00part of it, but I think mostly it's there is a glee in having
- 26:03this power, you know, the power to be community manager or hr that
- 26:08those are extremely powerful positions that people take for granted. So anyway, I
- 26:15wanted to use that to say that I don't think Hell Divers Too is lost
- 26:19yet, but I hope. I don't know how it's gonna happen, but
- 26:22the guys at Arrowhead Studios they have to keep up an eye on these people.
- 26:27I'm sure. I'm sure that there are like LGBTQ people and people of
- 26:32color that work there, but that doesn't mean they're woke. Because what she's
- 26:36saying is if you're anti woke, you're anti blacks and gays and women.
- 26:41But that's not what it is, like you're anti communists. That's what it
- 26:45is. That's what it is. Anti woke is anti communists. So all
- 26:48right, anyway, I'm gonna take some requests from people inside of the Twitter
- 26:53space. So let me go ahead and see who is asking to talk.
- 26:59And I'm gonna prove in q cell, let's see if he can speak.
- 27:03I'm just gonna wait and see if he talks. In q cel, I
- 27:06gave you permission to talk. I think can you talk? You might have
- 27:17to unmute if you can. Meanwhile, if you guys want to send a
- 27:21super chat or a super chow, I will read it on the show.
- 27:26So all right, see now I will approve of chitchatcat to talk to Okay,
- 27:34chit chat Cat, welcome to the thing. What do you want to
- 27:41say, sir, chitcat Cat, you're muted a mutant talk? Go ahead.
- 27:49So I'm not sure if you saw that the community manager for Arrow hit
- 27:55mi caw. That was true. She changed her profile, but what was
- 28:00the information was still kept the same, So I think maybe Arrow it's like
- 28:03all right, change and stuff. It's a bit problematic, But she didn't
- 28:07actually change it because for example, initially there was a Palestinian flag in a
- 28:11bio and if you were at and she changed the flag to like a watermelon
- 28:15or something, yeah, it's like the new provia not to support Palestine exactly.
- 28:22And that's what I wanted to mention, because most people aren't away of
- 28:25the fact that the water milan is like the new Palestinian flag, because most
- 28:30people aren't away of like, oh this this is a subtle way of saying,
- 28:33you support Palestine. And so for me, it's the fact that she
- 28:37was able to like have this kind of profile while working at a company is
- 28:41obviously concerning because as you mentioned now with inturism, once these people get in,
- 28:45they're going to try and find ways to get more people. And a
- 28:48lot of people were saying, oh no, just because she's woke doesn't mean
- 28:52the company is woke. The issue that a lot of people fail to understand
- 28:56is that there is an enforcement making that exists with all community managers, whereby
- 29:02it's a west Per network and they all tell each other that what they need
- 29:04to do, and it's much similar to the west Per network we add with
- 29:08the game journalists. Back in the early days of game again. And it's
- 29:12also it's also happening in the comic book industry that the people who got Atis
- 29:18Pasker Pisker to take to take his own life. Yeah, it's there's Whisper
- 29:23networks everywhere. It's it's women, guys, it's women mostly. Okay,
- 29:30go ahead, I'm sorry. Yeah no. And the thing it just took
- 29:33about the WESTP networks, you need to just check. You need to look
- 29:36into the t TRPG wespin network. It makes what happened with Game and in
- 29:40comic scene like Charles play, because these people are actually psychopathic. They a
- 29:44researcher when to go and interview them, and she was like, uh,
- 29:47yeah, I don't know like what I saw, And then she did,
- 29:52I'm sorry. T t RPG like tabletop. Yeah, so the ttr Yeah,
- 29:56okay, okay, I want to look into that because I'm a big
- 30:00tabletop guy. Okay, go ahead. Yeah. And so that was the
- 30:04network. Obviously what happened like were Game again, Jason's Tride and a lot
- 30:07of other people surprisingly were initially against the kind of tactics that a lot of
- 30:12the other journals wanted to use. And what that was network did was they
- 30:17attacked them and eventually they gave in. So now if you have a community
- 30:21or other network of community managers telling each other what to do, you're obviously
- 30:26going to have every single person that happens to be part of that network pushing
- 30:29the message because they don't want to get attacked. Because as much as Jason's
- 30:33Trier tries to claim that he is a pillar of moral integrity, he isn't.
- 30:37He's just like every other progressive you can come across. And so when
- 30:41someone like that is at a company, they're going to push the message.
- 30:45And mean for fact that HR also plays a part into this because HR does
- 30:49the hiring and firing. If this chick was working at my company, I
- 30:53would a FIRER because I'm like, you're bad for PR, You're bad for
- 30:56the company's reputation. You need to go. The fact that editor Kipti the
- 31:00memes, someone at HR said, hey, listen, you can still stay
- 31:04here and do what you're doing, but could you be more subtle about it?
- 31:07You could you not be like so out there so people don't make a
- 31:11hullabaloo about it. Yeah? Yeah, I mean, odds are that most
- 31:17of the people at Arrowhead are probably like to a to some degree in agreeance
- 31:23with her, like politically, or they would say they are I have no
- 31:27doubt about that. I think that they probably There is another factor to this
- 31:33too, is that if they just fired her, she could probably like wreck
- 31:37that company with like legislation and all this, because like I think that a
- 31:42lot of times these people they got their jobs by accusing people of racism and
- 31:48sexism and sexual harassment, et cetera. And so like, if you fire
- 31:52a woman, I mean, she'll just destroy your company with lawsuits. So
- 31:55they're probably like, Okay, okay, we don't want a media shit storm
- 31:59because like all of the mainstream journals are gonna come after us. Alissamercante will
- 32:04write articles right about Arrowhead Studios sexism, and it'll probably ruin them. So
- 32:09they're like, we have to negotiate. I mean, this is me being
- 32:13as charitable as possible to the developers. Odds are they're probably somewhat liberal and
- 32:17they're just like fine, and they're just asking her to stop drawing attention to
- 32:22them because they're trying to sell this game. But I think that there's also
- 32:27a legitimate fear that, you know, they could be canceled. Does that
- 32:32make sense it does make sense, and I do get that because obviously the
- 32:37way of the Americans. Are they even an American company all these somewhay else.
- 32:42I'm pretty sure they're an American company, but I don't know for sure.
- 32:45I I think that people in tech are like that. I think that
- 32:50they tend to be introverted. They tend to be you know, uh kind
- 32:53of not not socially, you know, power like in terms of their will
- 33:00and stuff. So I don't want to say cowards, but there is a
- 33:04lot of that, you know, especially when it comes again to being accused
- 33:07of bigotry. I think people are generally afraid of that because they're not that's
- 33:15you know all definitely, and because if I look back, Yesterda, I
- 33:17had a conversation with a bunch of people on political themes and idological messaging because
- 33:22there was a big disagreement. I'm not sure if you saw someone made a
- 33:24tweet about it. Like creatives face this battle of wanting to create something,
- 33:30but it could be made political by people. And when it comes obviously to
- 33:35the sideway, when we get into East g and everything else, I was
- 33:38free. I wanted to bring it up and as soon as I said ESG
- 33:43the holes of the space was like, no, no, no, that's
- 33:45a but that's a bit two conspiratorial and I don't think yeah, And I
- 33:50was just like, this isn't the conspiracy. We have all the evidence,
- 33:53but no, this is the issue that exists, like it exists. Yeah,
- 33:59and the issue that we sit with and that's the same thing that we
- 34:01saw what the community managers that a lot of people are like, oh no,
- 34:06the community manager being woke isn't a problem. But it's like, let's
- 34:08look at you UBI Soft for example, the community manager is a carbon copy
- 34:15of the one at Arrowhead. If you go look at a Twitter, same
- 34:19token points now retinal towards you. Be Soft is a woke company. And
- 34:23so it's like, we need to look at the fact that the kind of
- 34:28people that's working there. If someone is working as a red flag, we
- 34:31need to scrutinize the company because for example, when a lot of people,
- 34:36for me, like my way of entertaining video game is that's a any small
- 34:40way. And so for example, what the al divers I might be speaking
- 34:45on the correction is that you don't get to choose male or female. You
- 34:47get to choose body type right, Like, I think it's you get to
- 34:52choose like a multiro body type and then a more skinny one in what what
- 34:59are you talking about? Hell Divers? Yeah, yeah, it's like a
- 35:04bull there's like a bulky body type and a lean body type. They don't
- 35:07say male or female. I caught that right away, and I thought,
- 35:09you know, it could be because of that, but it also could have
- 35:13been just them trying to avoid like trouble altogether, because ultimately everyone in that
- 35:17game is faceless. There are there are no races, you know, and
- 35:22there are male voices and female voices, and there's no like middle ground,
- 35:25you know, like Caitlyn Jenner voice, Like there's no weird voice. So
- 35:31so I mean it could be. I'm inclined to think that most of the
- 35:37in most cases, when something appears to be woke, if it isn't like
- 35:39really in your face, it's probably like more than likely an incidental thing.
- 35:46I do think that there is that definitely, because like if you play Boulderskate
- 35:51three, when you when you make a cared to Bolli Gate three, some
- 35:53people say Bullis Gate three is not woke or whatever, because you know,
- 35:57Larryan is good to their customers. But yeah, a lot of people have
- 36:00said that, like they generally don't attack their customers. Put it that way.
- 36:04But when you make a character in Moldsgate three, Yeah, but when
- 36:08you make a character in boldis Gate three, you do get to choose non
- 36:12binary as a gender option, and they tell you it's called non binary.
- 36:15It's a male female non binary and other even though the body types are the
- 36:20same, there's just like a male body and a female body, right,
- 36:22So they're obviously like leaning into it enough that they don't. But again,
- 36:28some of this stuff is a fear of the backlash if they don't do it,
- 36:32rather than people from within the company pushing it. And I don't know
- 36:36which of those is the case. So I think that's why we have to
- 36:38like sort of exercise our own judgment. But give me some final thoughts and
- 36:43then I'm gonna move on to the next person. All right, I'll just
- 36:46say this, in regards to the whole body type thing, we do need
- 36:50to look at that also as another red flag, because so far we have
- 36:52the body types, we have the community manager and I'm not sure if you
- 36:55notice, the very same day it comes found Air community manager, there was
- 37:01like multiple articles that came out about it. I think that the same day
- 37:06or the next day of the Ubisoft one, not the Ubisoft one about the
- 37:12Adam which Arrowhead Yeah, okay, the Arrowhead one, yeah, Baskin,
- 37:17sure, yes, So multiple publications came out of the article but basically said,
- 37:22oh, the game of Gators have now win after helldivers to community manager.
- 37:28Yeah, I know, I know. But they're also trying to claim
- 37:30that the game is woke. So because I think there's a there's like another
- 37:32trick that could be happening when when Baskin says the game is woke, in
- 37:37my opinion, what they're what she's hoping you'll do is say, well,
- 37:40I'm not gonna play this game anymore or I'm not gonna buy it because she
- 37:44doesn't want you in the community. But I think if you just sort of
- 37:46embrace it and say I wouldn't I would disagree that it's woke, but I
- 37:51just played it anyway and just really double down on the on the militarism and
- 37:54the and the role playing of within the game, that'll that'll upset them because
- 37:59I think in a way they like take Lee and Okay, here's the thing.
- 38:02These people love feeling like they're better people than you, Right, That's
- 38:07like their favorite thing in the world to feel like they're better than you.
- 38:10I actually have a sound for that in here. I'm gonna play really quick
- 38:14if I can find it. But and and any opportunity that they can get
- 38:21to do that, they will do it any opportunity, right, Am I
- 38:25saying that I'm better than you? I guess I'm going a little further than
- 38:28you are. Yeah, I'm fucking better than you. Okay, much better
- 38:31than you. You are garbage? Thank you? Anna? So yeah,
- 38:38Anna Kasparian back when she was like absolutely normal and now I don't know,
- 38:44she's having a bit of an identity crisis. But anyway, so yeah,
- 38:49I'm gonna let you go chit chat. But thank you for coming in and
- 38:53giving your thoughts. Really appreciate it. All right, But all right,
- 38:59you can say here if you want. But I'm gonna, like, I
- 39:01don't know, like, how do I I'm gonna remove you from speakers,
- 39:06yes, and I'm gonna bring I think n q cell is asking to talk
- 39:10now, so let's do that. This is so okay in q CL you
- 39:19should be able to talk. Oh hello, ink you cell we try again,
- 39:25I will invite you to speak. You should be able to speak when
- 39:30when you get them there's a bit of lag, so it kind of sucks.
- 39:35Okay. So the other thing I wanted to mention is, well,
- 39:40I do have this other story of the Star Wars outlawst thing that's been going
- 39:45around where they took this actress who was attractive and they masculinized the shit out
- 39:51of her, and I think it's hilarious, Like it's Ubisoft anyway, I
- 39:55knew ub Soft as woke from the moment I played the very first saund Creed
- 40:00game, because it's literally on the first screen when you boot up Assassin's Creed
- 40:05one, they tell you like how important it is that the team behind it
- 40:07was super diverse, and I was like, well, that's weird. Why
- 40:10would you guys tell me that I knew it. I mean like in all
- 40:15their games, like especially their Assassin's Creed games, they all have like all
- 40:19kinds of shit in there that's just like really out of place. So you
- 40:23know, I'm not surprised by this at all, And frankly, I think
- 40:29it's more of a nothing burger anyway. Star Wars is dead to me.
- 40:31I haven't really give a shit about anything they've done for a long time.
- 40:35I think the last thing I did was I made a video about how they
- 40:39are using the High Republic as a means to retcon the entire Star Wars brand
- 40:45to fit their like their view, and the retconning of everything is like something
- 40:52that they do in fiction, but they also do it in real history.
- 40:57They retcon history, They ret con react because they wanted to match their vision,
- 41:01and they want you to be unable to remember anything that's real and know
- 41:07what real is and that and that is demoralizing, but that is on purpose.
- 41:09All right. I got a request to speak from problematic white guy.
- 41:14You see if that works? Uh? You are why isn't it working?
- 41:20I'm gonna try and maybe I'll have to wait a bit, Maybe I have
- 41:23to wait a second. Uh, Problematic, if you see this, put
- 41:30a put a comment in the uh in the chat and let me know if
- 41:34you're able to join the call or not. I mean, I see you
- 41:36in the Twitter space, but for some reason, I tried to give you
- 41:39permission and it's not working. To try again in QZL, all right,
- 41:46And I don't know why it's Am I doing something wrong? I think Twitter
- 41:53space is kind of shit. Elon Musk, fix this ship, stop launching
- 41:58rockets to Mars and fixed space. So your mind all right, sill nothing.
- 42:10I will invite inq cell to speak one more time and see if it
- 42:14works. So just wait until my invite goes through and might some I think
- 42:20there's a bit of lag from when I do something and when you see it.
- 42:22Harry Pierce says Twitter is lagging currently. Yeah, yeah, Twitter is
- 42:29kind of lagging. I think I think it's because, I mean it could
- 42:30be because of so how many people are on it and Nova fans stop going
- 42:37into space and fix spaces. Yeah, thank you. Uh mister O three
- 42:44oh three says chit chat Kat is the MVP. Yes, very based.
- 42:50I think he's I think he's pretty dope. All right, So let me
- 42:54see. I got a request from inq cell. We're gonna hit it and
- 42:58we're gonna wait and see this goes through. Know why it's not working?
- 43:08Did you let me see here? Uh? All right, I'm gonna I'm
- 43:16gonna try again. I'm gonna If I don't get anything, I'll send me
- 43:22another request. I'm gonna look at the rest of this park place thing.
- 43:27So this is the screenshot from Outlaws, and I wonder if there's there should
- 43:36be pictures of the woman. Actually, John del Rose has it on his
- 43:39website. This is right here, no way, Yeah, here we go.
- 43:45So he writes an article. Uh, Kotaku's Alissamerconte, who, by
- 43:50the way, despite the fact that Kotak, who's supposed to be writing like
- 43:53game guides now, is still writing opinion pieces weird. Uh it is hot
- 44:00and bothered over Star Wars Outlaws, manly kves and hate campaign against gamers.
- 44:06This is the actual actress. I'm just gonna leave this up on the screen
- 44:08for men of culture while I take this request. That's what she's supposed to
- 44:13look like, so right could be added. Why isn't it going on?
- 44:24Maybe I have to invite people. You should have gotten my invitation to speak.
- 44:36Yeah, they say that every time in all their games. Yeah,
- 44:37I know, but I saw it in the very first for the very first
- 44:42Assassin's Creed, and I thought that's weird. So this is like what the
- 44:52actress is supposed to look like, and this is what she looks like in
- 44:54the game. And they're claiming that this is an issue of technology, but
- 45:00I mean, obviously that's not like if anyone's played, you know, any
- 45:05game in the last like a couple of years, there are plenty of models
- 45:09that resemble the actor. Frankly, I just to be clear, I'm actually
- 45:15not for the models looking like the actor. I prefer when the in game
- 45:20models look like characters and not humans, like I don't know, Like I
- 45:24like that it had a bit more of an abstract appearance, like you know,
- 45:29if you played I don't know, like if you played Leon in Residue
- 45:32bel four in the old Reside before or Ada in the old Resident Evil games,
- 45:37she looked like a character that did not exist, the old Laura Croft,
- 45:42for example. And now they're like, no, no, we want
- 45:45it to look like this person, but they never really go through with it.
- 45:47I mean, look look at how jawed up she is. What is
- 45:52this supposed to be? What's with this nineteen seventies feathered hair and all the
- 45:54Star Wars characters like it's like the only thing they know is that it has
- 46:00as that nineteen seventies, Like, you know what she looks like? You
- 46:02know what she looks like. Honestly, have you guys ever seen the Warriors?
- 46:07You know, the leader of the gang that's chasing the Warriors that frames
- 46:12them. You know, the guy from that Warriors that's what she looks like.
- 46:16Should look that dude up. They look the same. So anyway,
- 46:24shit Grums is gonna get a lot of hit pieces. They're gonna come after
- 46:29him for this. And I think that the real they do this on purpose
- 46:35because it makes them feel better about themselves and especially the main reason I think
- 46:40is that they don't like men enjoying anything, especially attractive things, especially especially
- 46:46attractive women. They really don't like that, and so they try to take
- 46:51it away from them. Meanwhile, they have no problem sexualizing dudes like at
- 46:54all, even if they're underage dudes. They're totally down with that, all
- 47:00right, So, uh, this is a Larry Studios thing. One other
- 47:07thing I was gonna mention is Grums made this. He made this request,
- 47:14and I want to know what you guys think about this. Meanwhile, I'm
- 47:16gonna try to invite in you sell to speak again. I don't know why,
- 47:21or you know. I'll make him a co host. Maybe that'll work.
- 47:23Then co hosts invite and I will do the same for problematic as well.
- 47:29Just for today. We'll see if that works. So the real Bob
- 47:37Newpan says, we need more anti communist team curation lists. Yeah, that'd
- 47:40be great, wouldn't it. You know, there's plenty of good stuff out
- 47:43there if you know where to look. So I think, oh, yeah,
- 47:46hey, IQ self, what's up? I think it just now it
- 47:52just happened to it just uh unfud itself, like the main unfucked itself just
- 47:59now. So okay, so was it? Yeah? No, no,
- 48:02it was. It is broken. It periodically does this thing wherein even the
- 48:06main page like doesn't load properly or anything, and it just happens periodically.
- 48:13You want people to drive your electric cars, you have to fix your Twitter's
- 48:16Twitter website, just get that working. Okay, what do you want to
- 48:22say? Right? I guess can I go back to the hell divers stuff?
- 48:30Vaguely? Right? The thing that I've noticed that there is one quote
- 48:35from Paul Verhoven that they like to the media literacy people like to go on
- 48:38about that. It goes something like, you wanted to create so in your
- 48:44face parody of fascism that people that get it would be tormented by people who
- 48:49didn't. Right. This is this is this is their thing. This is
- 48:52what the media media literacy is about to them, wherein if you find in
- 48:58any way any kind of appreciate or esthetic appreciation to the quote unquote bad guys
- 49:02in in Starship Coopers, they're obviously a fascist and stupid. Yeah. Yeah,
- 49:08you're self reporting. You you're confessing to be on fascist and you're stupid
- 49:12and you're stupid because you don't get it. Right, This is what even
- 49:15though the Starships Stroopers being Overhoven himself being an idiot that didn't get the book,
- 49:22that didn't care about the book and just overlaid fascists. He didn't even
- 49:25read it, he said, he read like for twenty minutes and put it
- 49:30down. Yeah, and on top of it being politically illiterate shit live.
- 49:34So yeah, and this is what This is the disconnect that like the media
- 49:37literacy people don't get They don't get that. We do get it. We
- 49:42just appreciate the aesthetics and you're you're you're that They are the stupid ones,
- 49:45like they don't get it. They think that everyone else is self reporting as
- 49:49fascist and they're stupid. So there's like weird cycle that their reasoning is stuck
- 49:54in and these uh to take it to hell divers to I think that is
- 50:01that is that is they, that is what they go with, that is
- 50:04who they are, right And I'm not just looking, not just talking to
- 50:07community managers, but the developers as well, because I look, the trailer
- 50:13starts out with the mixed race family, like this is the first thing that
- 50:15immediately saw, like, okay, what's happening here? Right? Well the
- 50:22issue is that. And by the way, nobody nobody complained about that.
- 50:25I don't know if you noticed. I didn't hear anyone complain. They were
- 50:29just like okay, well but most people didn't care. No, I know,
- 50:36like immediately like okay, So, so what is going to happen?
- 50:38Is this going to be like fascist esthetics with somehow but somehow everyone is a
- 50:43progressive, like you know, like, is it going to be mixed raced
- 50:46by supremacist? Is that what's gonna happen. It's just something in that in
- 50:51that vein, and I think I saw some like deep lore in like inside
- 50:55the game, wherein if you like listen to a broadcast long enough, there
- 51:00there are like dissident sort of talking points coming from the opposing forces, like
- 51:05the automatons and some like bug liberation groups or something like that, wherein there's
- 51:12an undercurrent narrative framing the Super Earth managed democracy Empire as being the bad guys
- 51:20as as it as it wanted to be with Starship Troopers, right, they
- 51:24wanted the thing that they wanted in Starship Cooper is in the is this moment
- 51:30of this ambiguity of them, of of you know, Earth being the bad
- 51:35guys, of Rico being the bad guy, And that's what that's why they
- 51:40always haggle about Buenos Aires being a false flag. Al it wasn't a false
- 51:45flag, but they just had canon it. Oh yeah, there's actually if
- 51:50you notice it, they false flagged. So they attack hacking wholesome communists communitarian
- 51:55bugs, right, but there's no such thing in there, so they have
- 52:00to inpend it. So I think for hell divers, yes, go on,
- 52:04no, no, I agree with you. You got and finished for
- 52:06hell divers w So for hell divers too, they actually can't do it.
- 52:08They can actually impune theatorial intent they couldn't impune on hindline, right, this
- 52:15is this is to me like this, So when when the community manager chick
- 52:19goes super Earth out of bad guys, I think that's the undercurrent narrative,
- 52:22and there are from the game design perspective that is the sort of interesting thing
- 52:27happening, where the game itself is like live performance, ongoing live performance.
- 52:32One thing you might say about how games have evolved is that you're you're not
- 52:37really playing the same game twice. If you go back for twenty years and
- 52:42you boot up Mortal Kombat or you boot up The Sex, you're playing the
- 52:45same game. If you're playing Wolf, there's like six different wolframes. It
- 52:50changes from patch to patch. When I played Planet Side, I couldn't I
- 52:53kind of play the version of planets Eye Work where I could take the Terran
- 52:57tank, deploy it and shoot like a machine gun with its main gu I
- 53:00cannot play that. So the games evolve in time and you're never never really
- 53:05these live service games, you're not playing them twice. And the whole diverse
- 53:07is taking a bit further further than that, because the meta game that is
- 53:13happening on the you know, the galaxy screen where you're seeing the individual sector
- 53:17is being taken over. That's directed by doud, Like there's an actual dude
- 53:22sitting somewhere admin console that is directing these invasions. So this is basically like
- 53:27a dungeon master. Yeah. So so it's like a Brechtian sort of theater
- 53:31play or something like this. It's very interesting. But yeah, well that's
- 53:37yeah, go ahead, go ahead. No, no, not really because
- 53:43another thing is arranger is on the topic of community managers, there is a
- 53:51thing also that I have noticed or or that that is clearly obvious. Is
- 53:55this attempt to normalize leftist preserve as the sort of null hypothesis and to mask
- 54:05enforcement of ideological leftist ideological precepts through neutral rule enforcement, wherein you do this
- 54:13okay, no politics, Okay, we are not allowing politics in this,
- 54:15in this gaming space, on this discord for health, the health diversity,
- 54:19there will be no politics. But you, but but you. But you
- 54:22can't say, like stuff super lgbtople's community that that's not politics, that's just
- 54:25being a decent human being. Right And if you if like, okay,
- 54:30I'm not sure about this, well then you're just being quote unquote an asshole,
- 54:32then you're or political You're making Yeah, you're you're pushback to this very
- 54:37obvious political state of to this political political sort of position in position in position.
- 54:46Yes, that's actually the being the thing that is being political, not
- 54:51us engineering a state of affairs wherein we pretend we are actual neutral, neutral,
- 54:57real enforcers of this sort of common so societal agreement that that sort of
- 55:01everyone agrees to. It is common sense. It's just being a decent human
- 55:05being, right, it's it's not political, it's just being you know,
- 55:08uh, the nice to the LGBT community, and you should support it.
- 55:13Right. So I am on the discord of Mark Kerrn. I actually have
- 55:19too. Yeah, I am too. Yeah, you're talking about game.
- 55:22Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm ember. Yeah, I don't
- 55:27want to say too much. I am more involved with it than a casual
- 55:30observer. Let believe it that. Well, that's great. I think that's
- 55:35great. Go on, Uh, so cet these people coming in right and
- 55:39and for a little for a while, so so I know the community mansions
- 55:44there and everything. We there's there's been a policy for a long time like
- 55:47no politics, like don't discuss politics, don't bring this here. Well just
- 55:51just just leave it alone. And usually like the mods came in and said
- 55:53all right, stop this, like stop this, you know, stop stop
- 55:57stop talking about this. And basically a guy comes in and says, uh,
- 56:04like a new guy that you know, when you a new guy,
- 56:06have this leaf around run next to your name on discord, and it's like,
- 56:10you should support LGBT plus community. You should support LGBT plus communism,
- 56:15specifically the LGBT plus communism. He is responding to someone there, some x
- 56:20y Z some some third party is the moral busy buddies that are whose morality
- 56:24is LGBT plus communism. And this new guy, which is obviously a should
- 56:30live that came to the serve and you. He was like, yeah,
- 56:31but you should do that. You should support LGBT plus communism. The communism
- 56:37thing was a bit tongue in cheek, but but but, but the main
- 56:38thrust of it is, yeah, you should support LGBT plus community. Right,
- 56:43Yeah, that's political statement. That's a political position, obviously trivially on
- 56:47his face, but there's a seme to camouflage this as yeah, it's actually
- 56:52just being you know, neutral, so impressive. That's repressive tolerance. Yes,
- 56:59it's it's basically think he's repressed a lot of tolerance thing, uh you
- 57:01know stuff or whoever, Uh I think it is. I was gonna say,
- 57:07well that's the book, but but yeah, repressed. It's definitely.
- 57:13I thought either I don't know or hoimer I think it is uh and yeah,
- 57:22and so basically this is this is the tenet of a few things.
- 57:25Do you think that Mark Kerne himself knows about this? Do you think that
- 57:30he's aware of these tactics, because I mean, I don't want to like
- 57:34bombard with a bunch of red pills, but I wonder if if he's aware
- 57:37of the tactics of these techniques that he It is my it is my sort
- 57:45of uh assessment that he is fluent, way more uh that he lets on
- 57:52he knows uh and even this dislike sort of gamers are non and like centrists
- 58:00and and and they are the real x y Z is the real racist is
- 58:05a sort of a strategy. It's not really like a serious he's not really
- 58:09doing the Brandon Striker. It's not actually like a Brandon Stricker sort of demograph.
- 58:15He is way more uh, that's my more based. You think that
- 58:21he's more based. He's more based than hiss on but but but but he
- 58:24attempts he takes this sort of audience or viewpoint neutrality to maximize through put.
- 58:34Let's just say it's too basically apply Olenska tactics against the leftists in their own
- 58:42sort of applying Olenska attactics to liberalism itself, wherein they try to try to
- 58:49hold these ship lips and extreme communists and the extreme WLD people to the ideology
- 58:55they came from to that deasp on them and supports them and undergird the society.
- 59:01So he tries to make sort of sort of maximum strength push through that
- 59:08and make them live up to this anti racism and anti sexism. But when
- 59:14he points out, oh, you actually people have some nasty things to say
- 59:16about le Jews and and you know you hate white people. Although the anti
- 59:22white thing is a fairly sort of new Overton window push from the right,
- 59:29I would say because anti whitism wasn't a thing five years ago, like like
- 59:31that, that that was basically on part of like just being straight up,
- 59:36I was Austrian pater fan, right, That wasn't the thing that we were
- 59:40haggling over the definition of racism back Racism is prejudiced pose power, don't you
- 59:46know? It was that way? It wasn't Nobody was really talking about anti
- 59:51whitism as a sort of undercurrent concept that should be thought about. It's just
- 59:57haggling with feminists, handling with Anita. Racism is and reverse racism if it
- 1:00:04exists. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah. It's like if you
- 1:00:07want to know how long or how old it is, and you go back
- 1:00:10and watch like some old George Carlin interviews or he talks about like how much
- 1:00:15he hates white people, you'll probably be shocked to be like, wow,
- 1:00:17he used to say that. He's like, yeah, that was actually very
- 1:00:20common. So I mean, but like nobody thought it was there was anything
- 1:00:23wrong with it, Like we just kind of like normalized it back then,
- 1:00:28and now more people are being aware, more people are noticing. Well anyway,
- 1:00:31in Q South, thank you. I I really got to move on
- 1:00:34because I gotta the show here soon. But what what's up? Yeah?
- 1:00:37Go ahead, you have another dude? Yeah, I got one more dude
- 1:00:42coming waiting to get in. So I want to, uh want to give
- 1:00:45problematic a chance to speak, and then I want to I want to like
- 1:00:49send a message that Grums put out that I think we should all take into
- 1:00:52take heed on, because I think it is a good idea. I just
- 1:00:55don't know how much I could move the needle on this tiny little channel,
- 1:00:59but I think it's absolutely crucial. Anyway, Thank you in q SEL.
- 1:01:01I'm just gonna make you into a a regular removed from co host thing,
- 1:01:08and I appreciate your feedback. I love how deep these things get because I
- 1:01:13think that's what we need so now problematic. You should be able to talk,
- 1:01:17I hope. So can you hear me? Yeah, yep, I
- 1:01:21hear you. Okay, right on, Yeah, go ahead and say yeah,
- 1:01:25I just want to give a chance to speaking. Yeah. I was
- 1:01:29just gonna kind of dogpile on the community manager aspect at the moment, just
- 1:01:32because, like me, that seems to be the more prevalent witch hunt that's
- 1:01:37happening right now. And you know, uh, it's it's kind of like
- 1:01:42this thing that you know, the further we go into this gamer Gate to
- 1:01:47expose of, you know, the rocks in the industry. Uh My,
- 1:01:52My big issue that I've been trying to get across people is like, yeah,
- 1:01:54there's always gonna be another witch to hunt next week and sooner or later.
- 1:01:59Like they're kind at the point where they probably appreciate the fact that we're
- 1:02:04just getting caught up in the surface level distractions. You know. It's like
- 1:02:07that tweet I put out earlier day about you know, picking the low hanging
- 1:02:10fruit off the tree, the tree still there until we actually you know,
- 1:02:15uproot that some that you know, this situation is just going to keep you
- 1:02:20know, multiplying and prospering and doing its thing, because ultimately this does come
- 1:02:25down to the actual power brok ring that's behind it all. To you know,
- 1:02:30take what is a fictional concept that's you know, on display in hell
- 1:02:36divers too, and actually turning that into you know, a dystopic allscape reality
- 1:02:42that will ultimately be under the boothill of and that to me it seems to
- 1:02:46be like where the focus hopefully will start to shift to beyond all the surface
- 1:02:52level distractions because we're just creating more of a smoke screen for that larger issue
- 1:02:55to just keep pressing on fully ignored. So you know, I, I
- 1:03:01that's why I appreciate the work that you're doing and you know why I try
- 1:03:07to support it and uh, you know, get it out to other people
- 1:03:08as well, because we have to get what you have to get beyond what's
- 1:03:14at the surface level of these issues, because it is a far more pervasive
- 1:03:19thing that is taking place, and you know, the community managers, you
- 1:03:24know, in the in the video I put out today, like I just
- 1:03:28said, you know, they were hired by a will hiring manager. And
- 1:03:31it doesn't have to be some grand conspiracy where everyone's in the know of it.
- 1:03:37It's you know, comes back to what we talked about a couple of
- 1:03:39weeks ago with the indoctrination in academia, and then that infiltrates the industry and
- 1:03:46starts to take a hold as just kind of being the fashion of you know,
- 1:03:52what everybody has to wear to be included in that society. And that
- 1:03:57to me is you know, the bigger issue at play is absolutely the people
- 1:04:00that are pushing it from the onset. So yeah, you know, and
- 1:04:06I don't know how we get beyond the easier aspect though of saying, oh
- 1:04:13there's a witch, let's burner. You know, it actually gets the point
- 1:04:16to where we're like, maybe we should just stop, you know, like
- 1:04:19allowing sorcery to be the thing that enchants everyone in the first place. We
- 1:04:24won't have to deal with all these witches. But you know, it is
- 1:04:27a very sticky situation because you know, uh, freemon liberty implies that we
- 1:04:31should all have, you know, some level of autonomy to think how we
- 1:04:35choose whether that's you know, level headed or completely out the window kind of
- 1:04:41concepts. But the main issue with the community manager is that she is allowing
- 1:04:46her perspective and ideology get in the way of, you know, what should
- 1:04:51actually be the focus, which is just delivering the you know, the measurables
- 1:04:57on a good game that actually wants to retance face and based and not you
- 1:05:00know, try to make an issue out of the people that are playing it.
- 1:05:06Yeah, well, I think I get what you're saying. So my
- 1:05:12goal is a Honey Badger Arcade is specifically a channel, and we talk about
- 1:05:16cultural stuff but on Badger live streams and I'm streaming to both of those places
- 1:05:19at the same time. We speak more about the issues of gender, but
- 1:05:27in from the perspective that if you fix the situation between men and women,
- 1:05:30then everything else essentially it's all downstream from there. But we are also very
- 1:05:35aware of, like all of the different ways that our society is being attacked,
- 1:05:42whether it's like you know, forcing behaviors through our culture or through education
- 1:05:46or through the media, or just like straight up political force or whatever it
- 1:05:50is. We are all aware of it. One of the things that I'm
- 1:05:54trying to do by having these shows is help people because you know, I've
- 1:05:59said this many times a lot most of the people who are making content in
- 1:06:03the sort of like Gamergate two space. When I say Gamergate, when I
- 1:06:08refer to it, I don't refer to it as a bad thing. It
- 1:06:10is what we have created, is what we're doing. Our response is what's
- 1:06:15causing it. But what I'm trying to do is not get caught up in
- 1:06:18every little dramatic thing that happens, but rather help people understand because people are
- 1:06:24gonna ask, like gigs and gamers are gonna be like where is this coming
- 1:06:27from? You know, people like the critical Drinker, these people who have
- 1:06:30massive platforms that like talk about this stuff all the time. They're still not
- 1:06:34getting like why is this happening? And I'm saying, this is why this
- 1:06:39is happening, This is where it comes from. These are the signs to
- 1:06:42look out for. This is what they want, right, So simply like
- 1:06:45you know, pointing out I don't know, like their hypocrisy, for example,
- 1:06:50which is a thing people love to do. Well, if you if
- 1:06:53you can be racist against black people, you can be raised as white people
- 1:06:57like that that's meaningless, Like you have to basically say they don't care about
- 1:07:00that stuff. They only care about power. They want you, you know,
- 1:07:04sick or dead and penniless, and they think it's funny. And this
- 1:07:10is all of the evidence that shows that. And then it's sort of like
- 1:07:14we're looking at this struggle to like hold on to what we have, and
- 1:07:19it's like a fight happening on multiple fronts, right, And I'm basically trying
- 1:07:25to get everyone looking in the same direction because it's it is kind of coming
- 1:07:29from one place ideologically, so we know where that is. And there's one
- 1:07:33crack in the you know, in the I guess you could say in the
- 1:07:36line, like if we break the line at one point, then that could
- 1:07:40be where we go. And the reason why I think gamer game is particularly
- 1:07:44important is because it is and honestly, like I've I've seen this in in
- 1:07:48in politics, in media, in the men's rights space, in comic books,
- 1:07:54in the manisphere, in movies and music and everything else, and the
- 1:07:59only place where there's been this much pushback is here. And I think that
- 1:08:02there's something about the mind of these young men that and I did a video
- 1:08:08on this the other day that this is like their last refuge. It's like
- 1:08:12the last place that young guys can go and just be left alone, and
- 1:08:15that place is being essentially attacked, right, and they're getting they're basically sick
- 1:08:20of it. And so I see, like I see there are people talking
- 1:08:26about real solutions, and I think that these things that what we do to
- 1:08:30fix what's happening with Gamergate two, I think will have a ripple effect everywhere
- 1:08:36else if we can get it to work. And that's why I think it's
- 1:08:39an important, like let's say, flashpoint. And by the way, I
- 1:08:44think that's why they're pushing back so hard against us, because they know it
- 1:08:46too. It's sort of like in you know, in Lord of the Rings.
- 1:08:50I'm not saying we're the orc Hord, but it reminds me of the
- 1:08:55Battle of Helm's Deep, right and there and all the Orcs are at the
- 1:08:58wall, and there's one with a the suicide orc with the bomb, and
- 1:09:00he's like running towards the opening, and then like all of the people see
- 1:09:04it and they all have to throw everything they have at them to stop it,
- 1:09:08and it doesn't work. And it's kind of like that. That's how
- 1:09:11I kind of see it and so one of the things I try to do
- 1:09:15is help people equip them with the language and also ask them to be very
- 1:09:19careful about their language because words are as you call it, like you know,
- 1:09:25sorcery, spellcraft, whatever they use. Words control reality and we have
- 1:09:29to be able to determine what they say from what they really mean. So
- 1:09:32we understand the words that are being used and what their purposes are so that
- 1:09:36we can fight them on the language front and the vocabulary front. We have
- 1:09:42to understand our enemy, we have to understand their tactics, and we have
- 1:09:45to have our own solutions. Right. So, like yesterday I did a
- 1:09:50show Alison. It was yesterday, No, No, yesterday was Tuesday.
- 1:09:55On Monday, I did a show with Alison. I read this substack from
- 1:09:58this guy and it was called the Vibe, and it was a very good
- 1:10:00substack because this guy, and he's been making the rounds on all these like
- 1:10:04major alternative media places, doing interviews with people. He wrote this whole thing
- 1:10:09saying in particular, and this is also I think very important because it's relevant
- 1:10:14to the show that we do over our magical lized streams with particularly with young
- 1:10:17men, young heterosexual men that like basically want it. Wanted to just have
- 1:10:25a normal life with a you know, a good career and a wife and
- 1:10:29children. They are all noticing like that that everything that we have been told,
- 1:10:33everything that we have been taught, everything that we're supposed to know about
- 1:10:36the world is not what it is. And they're they're not just like pointing
- 1:10:42it out, which they have to so that other men can join in,
- 1:10:45other people that want to be a part of that can join in, but
- 1:10:46they're also building their own things and that's and that's what I'm that's what I'm
- 1:10:53actually ultimately want to to uh see us move towards at whatever pace. And
- 1:10:59this is why I want to mention and you can give me your thoughts on
- 1:11:01this. What Grums suggested as that we do he said, for two years
- 1:11:09no matter what, so like instead of like looking to see if it's a
- 1:11:12woke company and who their community men, because I guarantee you they're human resources
- 1:11:15and community managers departments are all full of wokies no matter what the company is.
- 1:11:19If likely that's the case because those people get an education in our schools
- 1:11:26and that's what they're taught and it's not I don't even blame them. I
- 1:11:29feel bad for them, frankly, because I know how much debt they're in
- 1:11:31and how useless or degrees are. But that being said, he said,
- 1:11:34if you stop buying any Triple A games for two years, it'll change everything.
- 1:11:40And it's a big ask. I get it, But I think that
- 1:11:44we can make a dent if we just stick by that, and all you
- 1:11:45gotta do is support smaller companies or play your old games, you know,
- 1:11:50if you have like a backlog of games or whatever, just play those and
- 1:11:54promote the shit out of the small developers, because there are definitely gems in
- 1:11:59there that are just waiting to be discovered. And that's it. That's what
- 1:12:02I would so, and I think that's a good idea. Two years,
- 1:12:04it's not that long. It'll be over before you know it, and I
- 1:12:08think it'll it'll change the industry. So I don't know what you what your
- 1:12:12thoughts are on any of that stuff. Oh yeah, no, I think
- 1:12:15that that's definitely a good strategy to at least kind of show that there is
- 1:12:20a reinforced uh you know, uh, just understanding of all of us not
- 1:12:28wanting to be a part of it. Unfortunately, you know, A lot
- 1:12:31of this stuff's been going on the entire time. You know, you see
- 1:12:34in movies how they have corporate branded uh you know, partnerships and things like
- 1:12:40that and like you know, their product placement and all that sort of stuff.
- 1:12:44And so that's one of the ways that they'll just continue to mask it,
- 1:12:47is they'll just do corporate inbreeding and spread their money around and then with
- 1:12:53you know, the system of inflation that's in place. You know, that's
- 1:12:57also another way to continue on balancing the table, because they can always just
- 1:13:00print more money, you know, and put us even further away from the
- 1:13:06level playing field that would actually be necessary for a capitalistic mindset to actually have
- 1:13:13meaning behind it. So while it is important to not support it financially until
- 1:13:20we actually get beyond understanding that you know, money is not you know,
- 1:13:28money is nearly is merely the means. It's not the focus, you know,
- 1:13:30So it's not the goal, right right', it's it's the power broke
- 1:13:34rink and so and so, yeah, they can just continue to marginalize every
- 1:13:40dollar so that it's more workless and continue to just go on pushing their aims
- 1:13:46and their values until we actually take note of that and actually, you know,
- 1:13:51like you're talking about used discernment by understanding the form of enchantment that's being
- 1:13:58played out when they do their double speak and all this kind of stuff.
- 1:14:00And that's actually what my next project is more focused on, is kind of
- 1:14:06how you know, the mid the middle managers, what they're there for is
- 1:14:12to create the distraction, and you know they do that through you know,
- 1:14:16creating these distractionary focus where you know, people just get into the back and
- 1:14:23forth conjecture of it all, and then all that stuff that we're actually should
- 1:14:27be dealing with just continues, and you know, until we actually take that
- 1:14:31next step, we're actually doing them a service by getting caught up, you
- 1:14:36know, in this war between foot soldiers and you know, like to your
- 1:14:42Lord of the Rings analogy, I always kind of argue that, you know,
- 1:14:45this is a fellowship, you know, I see as more as on
- 1:14:48that side of it where you know, like Mount Doom, you know,
- 1:14:53the eye of sore On is just they're looking out in all directions. It's
- 1:14:58like fighting a cracking. You want to take down one arm, there's still
- 1:15:01seven that are still ambuling about and causing havoc and destruction. And so it
- 1:15:08really does take a larger degree of being responsive rather than reactionary. And you
- 1:15:15know, I'm not going to say that I don't make you know, jokes
- 1:15:18about this stuff that happen on the daily, because I do. But ultimately,
- 1:15:23you know, that's a small part of at least what my work is
- 1:15:28and doing, and stuff like the video I put out today, you know,
- 1:15:30like it's just kind of all the stuff that I've been digging into with
- 1:15:34this rabbit hole of the WF United Nations funding models that are really at play.
- 1:15:42I mean, it's disheartening, and so I just I had to,
- 1:15:46Like, I had a video that I was going to put out, and
- 1:15:48it was just like like no this, I want to do something that's actually
- 1:15:53proactive and productive, and so I just ended up putting out a video about
- 1:15:56like, hey, these are the tools I used to make my own video,
- 1:16:00and they're freely available to anybody. Get yourself started, and we can
- 1:16:03all just actually start doing that more level playing field of you know, entertaining
- 1:16:09each other and just doing this parallel economy where if they're going to devalue the
- 1:16:14dollar, they can do it all they want, you know, but if
- 1:16:16we still have the means to entertain each other and actually create, you know,
- 1:16:20on a level that doesn't involve them. That's really where the solutions are
- 1:16:25going to come into play that will actually have an effect on you. That's
- 1:16:29why when we had our last conversation at the end of it, I said,
- 1:16:31you should plan a garden. You should you know, like spend your
- 1:16:34time doing something that's going to be more productive and at the ground level and
- 1:16:40you know, more uh, you know, just viscerally charged with you know,
- 1:16:45taking hold of your own destiny rather than allowing this centralized control scheme to
- 1:16:50just insidiously find its way into every you know thought thing you do. You
- 1:16:57know, we have to disconnect entire and just not buying the games in and
- 1:17:01of itself is you know, only a half measure unfortunately, and I wish
- 1:17:06that that would be the silver bullet, as it were. But until we
- 1:17:12actually you know, just sidestep the whole thing and just say, look,
- 1:17:15we can do this without you. And you know, the world's more connected
- 1:17:18than ever. You know, we don't have to abide by those systems,
- 1:17:25but we have to find a way to not do it entirely. And it
- 1:17:29is a lofty goal to get people to go along with not buying new games
- 1:17:32for two years, and I'm perfectly all for it. I've done it before,
- 1:17:35I can do it again, you know. But there there's a lot
- 1:17:41of people. Yeah, but unfortunately there's a lot of virtue signaling on both
- 1:17:45sides and all the points in between on these issues. And it's easy to
- 1:17:50say something you know today, but then again, you know, people be
- 1:17:55like, you know, I hear people making excuses all the time for why
- 1:17:58they still you know, with the MCU products and things like that, even
- 1:18:02though it's completely corrupted, and they're like they're like, oh, but I'll
- 1:18:06just give it one more chance. Like you know, everybody's been railing on
- 1:18:10how MGU is deader than dead. But then in the back of their mind,
- 1:18:13they're like, but I still might see Deadpool. Yeah, I've heard
- 1:18:16that. I refuse, I'm done, But it is hard to get people
- 1:18:20to unplug, you know, or pull out then pull out the heroin needle.
- 1:18:25I get it, Like, I trust me, I've seen it.
- 1:18:28But that's okay. I think we can still make a dent. I mean,
- 1:18:31And also you know, uh, and I gotta I gotta run because
- 1:18:34I gotta I got other things I gotta do. So I can't go for
- 1:18:38much longer. But I don't disagree with anything you're saying. I just think
- 1:18:41that for my part, I'm just I want to help people understand what the
- 1:18:45steaks are so they know what's going on. I don't want to get hooked
- 1:18:48up into every little you know, like spat that happens. But I understand
- 1:18:54why because I knew for some people, they're still not there yet. They're
- 1:18:57not at that point, you know, like it's like throwing them in the
- 1:19:00deep end and they're still waiting at the shallow end of the pool. And
- 1:19:02I'm just gonna go out to the deep end and say, you know,
- 1:19:04it's actually not that bad out here. Just come on out if you if
- 1:19:09you're able, and hopefully they will, and I think I think they will.
- 1:19:12I think that we're in the midst of a great awakening and all we
- 1:19:15gotta do is wait. Yes, I do know about Bridge Stock. I'm
- 1:19:19gonna make a I might make a video on that later, but it might
- 1:19:21be old news. And there's a lot of people that are doing good stuff,
- 1:19:25like you know BX or Bex. I've had her on the show before.
- 1:19:29I'm gonna bring her back on she's gonna talk about all of the stuff
- 1:19:31that she's uncovered with the Department of Homeland Security and like other sort of government
- 1:19:36entities involved in this kind of stuff, and not just in gaming, but
- 1:19:40like all over the internet, basically anything that has that is not under their
- 1:19:45control. There are Feds, like swimming, there are probably FEDS watching this
- 1:19:48show, probably you know so or bots that are like operating as FEDS now
- 1:19:54that we have AI SO anyway, but yeah, I mean I agree there,
- 1:20:00but there are people doing good work out there, so we'll we'll see
- 1:20:01how it goes. I do have to let you go. Do you have
- 1:20:03any final words? Uh? No, I mean I mean I could go
- 1:20:09on for any length of time, but I think, yeah, we've done
- 1:20:13enough of it today. Yeah I should. I should end it there,
- 1:20:15Yeah, no problem. All right, Well, thank you problematic. I'm
- 1:20:18gonna take you off here as a co host and I'm going to end the
- 1:20:24show. So let me move this back here. Thanks guys for coming on
- 1:20:30the stream today. I'm sorry for the abrupt ending, but I gotta end
- 1:20:32it there. I didn't any super chats or super Child's which makes me kind
- 1:20:35of sad, but that's okay. So Anyway, if you guys like this
- 1:20:42video, please don't like subscribe if you're not already subscribed to the Belflidification,
