- 4:51like I said, he's a co host of DA x Machanas. So please
- 4:55help me. Welcome to the show today, my buddies, Da Roberts and
- 4:59rober Rains. Hey, Da, Hey, Robbie. All right, long
- 5:05time, no sea fellas man, it's been it's been a minute since I
- 5:09had y'all on Space Out Radio. Thank y'all for coming tonight, our pleisure
- 5:13man. I'm happy here any time. Yeah. Well, hey, happy
- 5:16Halloween, guys. Yeah, it's in a couple of days. I think
- 5:20the veil at the thinnest is getting thin, right. Yeah, she's standing
- 5:25out pretty good. Yes, she's standing out, yes, And and it's
- 5:30a full moon. Okay, so it can't get better than this more creepy.
- 5:33You guys have been putting out some great shows, including that show you
- 5:38guys did last night on da x mockin a podcast about were wolves transforming?
- 5:44Do they transform or do they not? What was your verdict by the end
- 5:47of the show, you guys, I gotta know, because I'm hearing different
- 5:50things. We were kind of comparing and contrasting stories of classic werewolves versus dog
- 5:56man, and the conclusion we've kind of come to is the well where wolves
- 6:00do transform, dog men do not. Okay, all right, well that's
- 6:06a good hypothesis there. I do believe that I've always heard that were wolves
- 6:11transform. However, I've had several guests, more than one guests on my
- 6:15show claiming that were wolves are born that way. Okay, so I guess
- 6:21it just depends. I've always thought that they were transformed. Well, we
- 6:25kind of we kind of hit that last night. You know that there's several
- 6:29ways to become a were wolf, and being born a were wolf, if
- 6:31you know, is possibility. But I don't think that's the only possibility.
- 6:38I mean, you know, there's always the cursing possibility or ritualistic things.
- 6:46And what it boils down to, Hollywood has kind of infected some of these
- 6:49legends and lords and taken all their you know, what they wanted and mixed
- 6:54and matched, and people get so confused with what's what you know is the
- 6:59Hollywood version versus what actually comes from the folk lord and the legend. And
- 7:03I think that's where a lot of stuff gets what Hollywood got it wrong.
- 7:08Now, but I think that was the general consensus we had last night,
- 7:14is you got you have to take the Hollywood stuff. Most of the most
- 7:17of the stuff you've seen in the movies is just sensationalized anyway, right If
- 7:23you read ram Sircus Dracula, you know, it takes away a lot of
- 7:28the mystique and a lot of the things that old vampires can't move around in
- 7:32the daylight. Yeah, they can, they're just weaker, you know.
- 7:35It's it just it just it depends on where your where your mindset is,
- 7:42where you're coming from, and what you actually believe is the what you're going
- 7:45to think. Yeah, yeah, most people go by what's in the movies
- 7:48because that's all we know and that's what we grew up on. But I
- 7:53mean, I've been doing shows I had. I had a couple of gentlemen
- 7:55on one of my shows that we're talking about real life vampires and real life
- 8:00scientists who actually reanimated corpses back during like World War two era. Nothing surprises
- 8:07me anymore, to be honest. We talked about speaking of World War two,
- 8:11we talked about that uh the German uh s S unit that called themselves
- 8:16to were wolves and they used that mystique and that fear fear, yeah,
- 8:24of the Eastern European where wolf phenomenon that was probably not far too far removed
- 8:31at that point, you know, they they tried to convince people they actually
- 8:35were were wolves, and who knows, you know the way the way the
- 8:37German uh scientific group trying to I know, some guy I can't think of
- 8:43his name, wrote something about where sharks in a book that I read one
- 8:46time. You know, you know who I'm talking about The day rings the
- 8:50bell. Yeah, talk about the German scientists making some kind of weird wear
- 8:54sharks, but you know, some sort of hybrid thing. Yeah. Oh
- 9:00my gosh, this is a big comment down there. I don't usually pull
- 9:03up comments that big, y'all. I'm sorry I took up. That took
- 9:05all the Robbie's space down there. So I appreciate all everybody in the chat
- 9:09tonight. By the way, thank you all the moderators for being here.
- 9:11Yeah, the top of the words, I know that was a bad one,
- 9:16thank y'all. Yeah, I don't know what doc feels like. Yeah,
- 9:22oh my gosh, Okay, I lost my train of thought there because
- 9:24that was a funny. That was really funny actually, all right, So
- 9:28yeah, I think it was like Project paper Clip right where they brought a
- 9:31lot of the Nazi scientists over to America, and I think that, yeah,
- 9:37I don't know if that's where the I think the scientists were actually in
- 9:39Germany doing these experiments on people in reanimating corpses, and I mean it's It's
- 9:45one of those things. It's like the government knows about these things, but
- 9:48they just cover it up and they don't talk about it. But well,
- 9:50I think we would be astounded by some of the stuff that our government has
- 9:54not only been responsible for, but as knowledge of that has not been made
- 9:58public knowledge. That's right, Yeah, I mean Hollywood's got to get its
- 10:03information from somewhere, right. I mean sometimes they get their information from declassified
- 10:07CIA documents and things like that. So in some cases, like Tom Clincy,
- 10:13they just get a lucky guess. Yeah, well, we talked about
- 10:16that many times. I mean, think about them. It was Eagle Eagle
- 10:22Eye? Was that the thame of the movie with Will Smith where I had
- 10:24all the satellites tracking him and what's the crazy kit Shi La Boof? I
- 10:28think it was Eagle Eye? But think about how far back to that movie
- 10:31was and all this track and facial recognition all that stuff that's yesterday's news now
- 10:37or Will Smith any me of the state? Yeah, that that that and
- 10:41that might be one of anyway, it's the same thing. You know this
- 10:43twenty years ago, having this uh, all this facial recognition technology and all
- 10:50this stuff, and now that's like you know, they can send a drone
- 10:54in with four ounces of C four straight to your face and blow your head
- 11:01off. Seems like the stranger it is on the movie, the more apt
- 11:07it is to actually be something that they either have or are working on.
- 11:11Right, absolutely soft disclosure. Right, the spice sidlites that we had in
- 11:16the eighties. This is in the late eighties when I was in the Army.
- 11:22The spy satellites we had then were capable of reading a newspaper in somebody's
- 11:26hand from orbit. Oh my gosh. But yet we can't get a clear
- 11:30picture of sasquatch or dog man. Well you know that camera technology is not
- 11:33in civilian hands. Well, but in that case, if they're getting pictures
- 11:39like that, then why would they not go looking for sasquatch and dog men
- 11:41from satellites They probably have, they just don't share that information with it.
- 11:46I'm sure the military and the government has very clear pictures of all these things.
- 11:50It's just nice. Look how many encounter stories that are involving military bases.
- 11:56So we know for a fact the government has known about these things and
- 12:00probably known for a long time. Like like our Teddy Roosevelt theory that we
- 12:03talked about, what is your Teddy Roosevelt theory is that, well, you
- 12:11know, one of the earliest known accounts we have of a bigfoot attack on
- 12:16a person is the Bauman incident from the book The Wilderness Hunter, written by
- 12:22Teddy Roosevelt. This is a story that he collected while out on the frontier
- 12:28before he went into politics. We think that because of the level of detailing
- 12:33the story and the fact that Bauman was never given a first name and never
- 12:37came forward, we think that Bauman probably was Teddy Roosevelt. You know,
- 12:43there are schools of thought where people say, you know, he wasn't him,
- 12:46it was, but it makes more sense that Bauman was Teddy Roosevelt.
- 12:50But and if you can accept that as a as a as a premise that
- 12:54Teddy Roosevelt, even as a young man, knew about these things. One
- 12:58of the first things he does president is create the National Park Service, setting
- 13:03aside, what is that eighty eight million square miles eighty seven million acres,
- 13:07eighty seven million acres of national parkland that's perfect habitat. In addition to that,
- 13:16after the Battle of San Juan Hill, Teddy Roosevelt met a guy from
- 13:20here in the Ozarks, and he wound up becoming president of a secret society
- 13:26whose job was to protect the Ozarks. Howler. Supposedly, the Ozarks National
- 13:31Forest was set aside as a preserve for the for the Ozarks. Howler.
- 13:35Oh, my gosh. And that's one caveat of that, Jessica. That
- 13:39eighty seven million acres, that's just the federal park. That don't count your
- 13:43state parks and things like that. So there's way more land out here.
- 13:48And that's only state parks. That's not public use areas, that's not you
- 13:52know, camping preserves, that's not stuff owned by the Army Corps of Engineers.
- 13:56If you add all of that in, it's closer to like two hundred
- 13:58million. My gosh. Wow, that's I mean, that's a lot of
- 14:01land. It seems like it seems like our cryptids are taking well of are
- 14:05taking care of pretty well as far as being you know, having a natural
- 14:09habitat out there and there. I mean, do you guys think that our
- 14:11park rangers know about Bigfoot? And I mean because I know we've done us
- 14:16three have done a show together about the topographical map that the Air Force had.
- 14:20That was the last time we talked on a show together, I think
- 14:24and uh and how they identified sasquatch as a dangerous animal. Well, we
- 14:31what was it in the eighties of Army field manual? Da? That yeah,
- 14:35that was from Fort h It's the one up in Washington. I keep
- 14:43wanting to say Fort Hood, but it's not Forhood. Fort Campbell's in Kentucky.
- 14:46Uh, Lewis Fort Lewis. Fort Lewis Fort became joint based Lewis McCord
- 14:52back when it was just Fort Lewis. It was in one of their training
- 14:54manuals that that that sasquatch was a was an animal that you would you would
- 15:00encounter out in the wild. Yeah, yeah, okay. So speaking of
- 15:03the Ozark Haller, uh da, that's for around where you're you're from,
- 15:07right, Missouri area? And uh and that's I was going to ask you
- 15:11guys tonight about your local legends and lore. Okay. And I know that
- 15:16I don't know a whole lot about the Ozark Haller. That's something that I
- 15:18have not looked into, uh specifically, but but what are some local legends
- 15:24and lure? Uh? It says it is in the spirit of Halloween tonight,
- 15:28what tell me a little bit about the Ozark haller tonight if you can.
- 15:33The Ozark cawler has been spotted in Missouri since before European settlers were in
- 15:39this area. It's supposedly, you know, you can hear it scream.
- 15:43Uh. And they they said, it's it's not like a mountain lion call.
- 15:46It's more like a like a like a mixture between a scream and a
- 15:50and a and a hounds howl. That it's blood curdling and absolutely terrifying.
- 15:56In fact, I used the Ozark caller in a couple of my books.
- 16:00Uh. There have been sightings all over this area for you know, generations.
- 16:04Uh. It's usually described as looking like a gigantic dog about the size
- 16:08of a bear. Uh so you know, four to five hundred pound range,
- 16:15with with just absolute you know, bright red eyes and horns on its
- 16:21head that like a almost like a rams horn that that go backwards off the
- 16:25back of its head. It's it's a it's a vicious predator. The lots
- 16:30of roop worts, especially down down in Douglas County where animals have been mutilated.
- 16:34Uh. And again, people have been seeing it for a long time.
- 16:37Allegedly, Daniel Boone hunted one and killed it up near Cuba, Missouri,
- 16:41and it was had it stuffed and was in his collection. And when
- 16:45he passed away it disappeared. Of course, his whole collection did it got
- 16:49it got scattered to the winds. But Daniel Boone's journal still talking about about
- 16:53about tracking and hunting the Howard. Oh my gosh, do you think the
- 16:56Smithsonian took it? Yeah? Well, a lot of the cases, like
- 17:03the Giants of Lovelock Cave, they actually had those bones on display in the
- 17:08museum in love Lock, Nevada. Uh. And that museum still has the
- 17:12receipt where the Smithsonian came and wanted to borrow the collection to uh to study
- 17:18it. And the Smithsonian claims they have no record of ever receiving it.
- 17:22Of course, Soonian's got a great history of doing that, it does.
- 17:26You know. I actually had a gentleman on my show over on my channel
- 17:30the cruit did huntress and uh, and it was doctor Wu, my buddy,
- 17:33Eric's brother from Paranormal Highway, and he came on and he used to
- 17:37actually work at the Smithsonian and he's an anthropologist. He used to handle the
- 17:42bones of the giant skeletons there. He'd seen them handle them. And uh,
- 17:48and I think I mentioned this on the show last night with with garyl
- 17:51and Jane that are in the chat tonight, Hey, y'all. He had
- 17:55mentioned that they had some anomalies on their skulls. A lot of the giant
- 17:59skulls had holes in them and they were either like drilled holes or potentially bullet
- 18:06wounds. Okay, bullet holes. He thought they were probably drilled, but
- 18:08they all had holes in them like trepidation. Yeah, could have been for
- 18:15sure. I just thought that has been around for a long time. The
- 18:18Mayans practiced trepidation, where they would take a sharp and sharpened piece of stone
- 18:22and basically tap a hole in the skull to relieve pressure. It's you know,
- 18:26it's been debunked now, but for the longest time, people thought that
- 18:30was the way to relieve headaches and all sorts of crazy things. Oh yeah,
- 18:37yeah, well in lobotomies and things like that too, right, could
- 18:41have been something like that. Blood lighting all that kind of stuff was Yeah,
- 18:45well that's that's what killed George Washington. They were they were bleed quote
- 18:51unquote bleeding him and bled too much. Oh my gosh, that's terrible,
- 18:56terrible, Oh my gosh. Okay, well, Robbie, what about you.
- 18:59You live out in South Carolina, y'all are well known for the lizard
- 19:02Man of scape or swamp? What is Do you have any kind of crazy
- 19:04cryptids or any kind of local legends and more over there? Other I mean,
- 19:10it could be the lizard man anything that's I guess, other than you
- 19:15know, you know, we do have big foot side. I've had several
- 19:18big foot sightings myself, but I guess that's what we're most famous for,
- 19:23is the lizard man escape or swamp, and that's you know, that started
- 19:27back in the early eighties, but I think is recent as twenty twenty one.
- 19:37I believe what I said the last time when we talked about this day
- 19:41about twenty twenty one, was they've had sightings all the way up since then.
- 19:48Interestingly enough about that most of the people that had these first encounters with
- 19:55are dead, but they're not. It's not just like they died of some
- 19:57kind of natural cause or anything that they're all really suspicious. The boy that
- 20:02got his car demolished, it was a home invasion and nothing was taken.
- 20:11Somebody just broke in and killed him. And they never found anybody, never
- 20:14found any any other evidence. It was really weird. The old lady whose
- 20:21car bumper was chewed up, she died of a mysterious illness I think was
- 20:26what. Uh. There's the guy wrote a book on this, and just
- 20:30about everybody that's had that had some of those first encounters is gone. There's
- 20:34a guy who lives down there somewhere off the one of the bases where this
- 20:37thing supposedly kind of haunts, and he's kind of the local expert, and
- 20:42he started talking about that a little bit on one of the documentaries I watched.
- 20:47Uh, but we kind of lance and I he's gone alligator hunting down
- 20:52right around that area, and they were in one of those little pier rogues
- 20:57and they caught I believe, I want to say it was like a ten
- 21:02foot alligator and it was in two feet of water and weighed five hundred and
- 21:07fifty pounds and they didn't see it until they were right on top of it.
- 21:11So that's kind of what we were talking about. Something like this could
- 21:15very easily escape being seen for long periods of time if it's anything like that,
- 21:22and you know, it could be kind of what's the word for living
- 21:26in a k is that terrestrial da that lives in caves bruggle of dight?
- 21:32Yeah, so underground if it's something like that, and it spends a lot
- 21:37of time in there, so that maybe why it hasn't been seen a whole
- 21:40lot lately. But then also we got a lot of the Cherokee legends,
- 21:44you know with you, and I talked about that to Spirit Finger and Judicolor
- 21:48Rock and what's the other one? DA? Do you? You? You
- 21:56would ask me that I was talking with my buddy Barry Littleton the other day.
- 22:03He gave me a blind remote viewing target and it was some weird Cherokee
- 22:06witch, uh, and it was something I'd never heard of. It was
- 22:08called the sharp elbowed witch. Yeah, you never heard that before, you
- 22:14heard because as soon as as soon as you start talking about it, I
- 22:17started thinking about spearfingers, thought, well, that sounds a lot like spearfingers.
- 22:19So I wonder if that's just maybe, like we talked about, people,
- 22:22kind of you tell one story and then this somebody adds something to it
- 22:26and it kind of morephs from one thing into another. Because it did have
- 22:30a lot of similarities to the to the Spearfinger story. Yeah, dah,
- 22:34there's a lot of really cool Cherokee legends and there's a lot of Cherokee heritage
- 22:38down the Appalachian Mountains. And I mean, you guys, not too long
- 22:41ago. I remember y'all doing a show on it seems like dinosaur sightings,
- 22:47right, like modern day dinosaurs or something, because I know I've done a
- 22:48couple of shows on that too, and uh, and that comes up really
- 22:52often. Now, are y'all getting any more reports of modern day dinosaurs like
- 22:56velociraptors or t rexes or terrasaurs or anything. I think a lot of terroristare
- 23:03reports are still coming in, especially out Midwest DA on the fourth No,
- 23:07not in the Midwest to southwest, down in the Four Corners region there.
- 23:11You know, they were a lot of especially like around the Navajo Reservation,
- 23:15a lot of sightings of terostaurs. Oh wow, Yeah, we're getting I
- 23:19get a lot. I hear a lot about those two. Absolutely. Now,
- 23:22I got a question, d the Ozart Haller is that more of a
- 23:25dog man or like a Gugway or sasquatch. It's neither. It's not bipedal.
- 23:30It's on all fours. Has it ever hurt. It's more closely,
- 23:34more closely related to U a hell hound than anything else. But the horns
- 23:40of what's the really distinguishes that supposedly. You know, over the years there
- 23:42have been people go missing that they've attributed to it. Uh. Just a
- 23:47few months back they some people heard one scream down near Galena, Missouri,
- 23:52and some people near Branson caught one on trail camp. Oh wow, Yeah,
- 23:59I saw a trail cam. Yeah, I saw a trail cam or
- 24:02some kind of video. Now you can't tell what's real and what's not anymore.
- 24:04I swear y'all these the CGI stuff has gotten out of hand. Okay,
- 24:08but somebody sent me a video of what looked like a velociraptor running past
- 24:12a trail cam. Okay, have y'all seen that. I've seen a couple
- 24:17of different versions. The problem is is, unfortunately, with the AI technology
- 24:22getting as good as it is, and it's going to keep getting better,
- 24:25it's going to become increasingly difficult to accept photographs and video at face value.
- 24:30It's gonna have to be authenticated by somebody like Thinker Thunker or MK Davis long
- 24:34before we can even you know, you know, say anything more than it's
- 24:37interesting. Oh yeah, wow, Okay, well absolutely, okay, because
- 24:42I haven't seen any any really exciting videos lately, so I was wondering if
- 24:48you guys had But okay, so I wanted you guys are really into dog
- 24:51Man, and I wanted to get into dog Man tonight because I know y'all
- 24:53had a show about dogmen or were wolves last night. I recently have gone
- 24:57out to an area. This is I'm talking to you, guys the last
- 25:00time we have an area here in Georgia where I live. I've got a
- 25:04couple of stories I could tie into this one too, and we can discuss
- 25:08it. But we have we have dog man sightings in the northern part of
- 25:11the county where I live, and they've been reported for about twenty years.
- 25:17And it's near the Edawa Indian Mounds, you guys, and I haven't talked
- 25:19to you all about this, but and it's also near a Civil War battlefield
- 25:23called picket Smell Battlefield here in northwest Georgia, and uh, dog man sightings
- 25:30and things there. I've actually had some paranormal happenings and stuff that happened there.
- 25:34But I am seeing a connection of Civil War battlegrounds, Indian burial mounds,
- 25:41and dog man and all these different types of cryptis. And I'm talking
- 25:45about like not nice cryptis. I'm talking about like corpse like kryptis to eat
- 25:51corpses and stuff like old Green Eyes down here in North Georgia seen on the
- 25:56battlefield at Chickamauga eating the bodies of the dead soul. What have you guys
- 26:02heard of this happening and do you have any stories? Well, a lot
- 26:06of a lot of dog man sidings are seem to be in or around cemeteries.
- 26:11Uh. Some of some of the earliest sidings of the Beast of Bray
- 26:14Road was near a cemetery. Uh, not not too far from that area.
- 26:18And also with the Michigan dog Man, Uh that some of the early
- 26:22sidings of that were by a security guard that saw that at a cemetery,
- 26:25a burial mound near a school. There's unfortunately, it seems to be that
- 26:30these things either are attracted by the to the carnage, the smell of the
- 26:34dead bones or the decay, or they there may be some sort of underworld
- 26:40connection like with with Anubis or weppel Wet. They were both dog headed Egyptian
- 26:45gods with connected with the underworld. So I don't know exactly what the connection
- 26:51is, but there are a lot of sidings, especially close to these old
- 26:55burial mounds or graveyards well and even even past the Egyptian can action with uh
- 27:00A Nubis wet wet. Think about who guarded the gates of Hell in Greek
- 27:06mythology, mm who or in in in Norse mythology there was garm and uh
- 27:14fin rear suppose was set to bring about Ragnarok. So it was the one
- 27:18that would devour Rodin. Yeah. So, I mean lichens were wolves,
- 27:25dog band whatever they're they're always heavily connected with you know, with dead the
- 27:30dead. So m hm, so goes goes further back than you know,
- 27:38just it goes way back. I mean even to the dog headed men that
- 27:44we discussed that on the show last night. We were looking at old maps,
- 27:47like medieval maps, and they had we were talking about magical creatures of
- 27:51legend and lore from long long ago and uh and how I believe that those
- 27:56creatures actually lived personally. I mean, it's not out of the realm of
- 28:00possibility at this point. With unicorns, dragons, the blimys. If you
- 28:04guys are familiar with those, you name it whatever, whatever, whatever kind
- 28:11of old magical creatures they had, including wild men and dog headed men,
- 28:14because they're seen on maps and in literature and in art. There are dog
- 28:19been pictured on the Pye Rice map, which is a map of Antarctica without
- 28:22without ice on it. Of course, both the Greeks and the Romans in
- 28:27their journals mentioned fighting what they referred to as the Sinocephalae, the dog headed
- 28:33men, both in the in Northern Africa and in India, and they're still
- 28:37sightings of dog headed creatures in India today. There are certain valleys that they
- 28:41say up in the mountains bordering on the Himalayas where they tell people don't go
- 28:48these things. These things control this area. If you go up there,
- 28:51you're not coming back. And you can make an argument that ol f Ednar
- 28:55were dog kiss soldiers because whether they just what a wolf's head dressing on or
- 29:02whatever, they acted like their wolves or they turned into wear wolves. So
- 29:08it's connected through all these different You know, we lose sight of how easy
- 29:14it is for us to get in contact with somebody halfway across the world right
- 29:18now. But you know, three thousand years ago when stuff like this was
- 29:22going on. It's not like people in you know, China knew what was
- 29:27going on halfway around the world. These people, but yet they have the
- 29:32stories and these things that are almost identical, right, Yeah, especially with
- 29:38even the Blemy's. Okay, they're in Ethiopia and all over the world.
- 29:41And in unicorns. I had no idea that unicorns were mentioned in the Bible
- 29:45eight times. Okay, I didn't know that either. They were mentioned eight
- 29:51times according to some of the research that I did, and what royalty used
- 29:56to actually want to drink out of unicorn horns. At least they thought they
- 30:00were drinking out of unicorn horns. It could have been like nar wall is
- 30:03that what you call them wall? Yeah, it could have been like a
- 30:10tusk from an elephant or something. But they thought they were unicorn horns back
- 30:12then. So interesting stuff, I don't know, especially with these dog headed
- 30:18men too. Back then, and you talked about dragons before eighteen sixty something,
- 30:26eighteen ninety stuff, I can't remember the exact date. There was no
- 30:30term dinosaur everything prior to that. And we talked about this last night with
- 30:34the you know, people get so wrapped up in the term dog win that
- 30:37wasn't going until the you know, late night late nineties. Oh really yeah,
- 30:42well, before nineteen fifty seven, the term bigfoot didn't exist. If
- 30:47you look at at old old newspaper articles and stuff from like the eighteen hundreds,
- 30:52they used terms like wild man or hairy man or whatever whatever the area
- 30:59they lived in, whatever first nation tribe they called it, whatever that was.
- 31:03She had helped me out when I was trying to think of earlier superlo
- 31:12but when we're talking about Juicola rock. But yeah, I mean we get
- 31:17so hung up on our terms that we used. Now put in the grand
- 31:23scheme of things, those are relatively infant terms for these things. Yeah yeah,
- 31:30okay, So were wolves and sheep shifting? Okay, because I I
- 31:36recently also went up to Tennessee and did an on site active field investigation a
- 31:41couple of months ago. And this is since I've talked to y'all too,
- 31:45But we were we had to go. We went to investigate a cave on
- 31:48a couple's property that had skin walkers in it. Skin walkers. We didn't
- 31:52run into any skin walkers, thank goodness. But but that thank the Lord,
- 31:57we did not. But what we did have prepare in case we were
- 32:00to run into skin walkers, and and I got to tell you, it
- 32:02was much like preparing to encounter a vampire or something. I mean from blessing
- 32:07the let's just say, Ammo and stuff. I mean whatever we had there,
- 32:14because we had to be prepared for anything. With dog Man on the
- 32:16property, sasquatch, whatever. We didn't know what we're going to get into.
- 32:21But that's the thing with these werewolves too. If they're shape shifters,
- 32:24that's like a skin walker. So I don't know. I was actually prepared
- 32:30to run into a werewolf up there. I wasn't. You're never prepared,
- 32:34you know, but I was. I was expecting if it happened, we
- 32:37were we were kind of looking for it. Well, you know, anytime
- 32:40you go out in the field, it's a situation where you better plan for
- 32:45the plan for the worst, and hope for the best. That's why you
- 32:47know, I don't go unarmed. I never go without a med kit,
- 32:52a dark angel kit. As you could see on my shirt, I always
- 32:55carried one as a cop. Yeah, I always always carry carry a med
- 33:00kid. I always you know, I've got at least one blade sometimes more.
- 33:06Of course, in the general time you see me, I've probably got
- 33:07at least two knives on me. But you know, you've got to be
- 33:12prepared. You know, you never know what you're going to run into.
- 33:15I mean, you know, if you if you're just planning for an afternoon's
- 33:19outing, you'd better take something to for staying overnight, because things happen you
- 33:24get off trail, you get out in the deep woods. Minor injuries can
- 33:29become majorly significant, especially if you know you're you're off the beaten path and
- 33:34you don't and nobody knows where you're at. That's one of the things we
- 33:37always tell people if you're going to go out, not only just have a
- 33:40plan, but let somebody know who's not going with you, where you're going
- 33:45to be, and when you're supposed to be back that way, if you're
- 33:47overdue, they at least know where to start looking, because I know from
- 33:52here in the Ozarks you get down some of these hills and valleys and there's
- 33:54no cell service. Oh yeah, you got to be careful. You got
- 33:59to be super careful with all that. I always tell somebody where I'm going.
- 34:02I usually go out with my team and and speaking of field research,
- 34:06well, Robbie, you and I have had some big, big food experience
- 34:08together. Okay, we had that back in May down here in Georgia.
- 34:13And Da, you have you've been to the LBL. Okay, And I
- 34:16want to preface this by saying, I have a big old dog man show
- 34:22on Halloween night, you guys, So I hope everybody will come join me
- 34:24over on my channel. Dog Man Encounters is actually featuring my channel, and
- 34:30I have a very special guest who is going to be talking about his encounters
- 34:34in the LBL with dog men. Okay, and so you have been to
- 34:37the LBL. Have you ever experienced a dog man out there? DA actually
- 34:43saw one on my last day in the LBL. We we were there about
- 34:45a week. We were traveling down the road leading back toward the trace from
- 34:51Demumbers Bay and just was or what I was doing, was looking at these
- 34:55primitive campsites set back in the woods and we were looking for, you know,
- 35:00either people to talk to or campsites. It looked like they'd been abandoned,
- 35:05anything like that. Where we'd go, you know, to a little
- 35:07investigating driving about two three miles now miles an hour down the road and just
- 35:15happened to look over and I kind of glanced over it, and until it
- 35:19moved its head, I didn't realize I was looking at something. It was
- 35:23I've estimated, but between six and a half and seven feet tall, had
- 35:27its right hand on a tree, just just standing there stock still watching me
- 35:31go by. And when it moved its head, that's when I realized what
- 35:36I was looking at. I got a really good solid look at it for
- 35:38between fifteen and twenty seconds, and it when it realized I was looking at
- 35:43it, it turned and made this weird loping bound. It kind of bounded
- 35:46to the right, bounded to the left, bounded to the right, and
- 35:49then went down into a ravine. And it was pretty steep and very heavily
- 35:53overgrown, so there was no way I was chasing it. But because the
- 35:57leaf litter on the ground, I couldn't get any tracks, unfortunately, as
- 36:00leafletter was pretty thick. UH. But I went to the exact tree that
- 36:05it was touching, and because I was able I'm five ten and a half
- 36:09UH, I was able to put my hand approximately wore I I believe that
- 36:14thing's hand was. Now if I was leaning against the tree, my hand
- 36:16would have been much lower. So because it was slightly above where it's comfortable
- 36:21for me to put put my hand to lean against the tree, I kind
- 36:24of kind of roughly estimated it was between six and a half and seven feet
- 36:28tall. It was clearly taller than me, but not like massively so uh
- 36:32it was it was you know, I had the had the the jitigrade legs
- 36:37like a like a like a dog, the hind legs. It was completely
- 36:42black, you know. The The difference that that that I noted though,
- 36:46was the head. Uh. The head was very much shaped like a wolf,
- 36:51but the snout was more like a like a masta for a rottweiler.
- 36:54It was it was shorter and broader. It wasn't it didn't come out to
- 36:59a fine point like a wolf. And you know, once once it realized
- 37:02I had seen it and was looking at it, it was fast. Wow.
- 37:07I've heard more stories like that where they're not always either looked like a
- 37:10coyote, a wolf, a German shepherd. And now I'm hearing about these
- 37:15pitbulls or some sort of a mastiff. So there's so many different it's like
- 37:19a different breeds I guess of dog. The years, the years in the
- 37:22head was shaped more like a wolf. It was just the snout was different.
- 37:28Oh my gosh. Well, you know, uh, there have been
- 37:31some reported attacks and there's not a whole lot of documentation of these other than
- 37:36hearsay and uh. You know, the the NADP had made a documentary at
- 37:40some point about some of the testimony of people who had had first or second
- 37:46hand accounts of some attacks of the LBO of dogmen. Has there been anything
- 37:52recently that's happened out there that you guys are aware of. Well, I
- 37:54know this year there's I think eight or nine people who have on missing in
- 38:00the LBL without explanation. Uh, and they tend to shut that up.
- 38:07You know, whenever somebody, whenever a body's sound in LBL or somebody goes
- 38:10missing, it is very difficult to find information on it because it disappears fast.
- 38:19Well, when I when I was there, I actually I spoke to
- 38:21a deputy sheriff in just across from LBL in h what's the name of the
- 38:27little town Grand Rivers? And I was talking to it and I identified myself
- 38:31as a retired cop, showed him my credentials and I was asking him about
- 38:36LBL. I was like, what do you need to know this? I
- 38:37said, well, I'm a writer. I'm researching for a book. And
- 38:40he said, well, you don't want to really want to go down that
- 38:43road and I said, well, I'm just trying to find an information.
- 38:45He goes, well, I'm let to tell you cop. The cop drop
- 38:47it and walked off and wouldn't talk to me. Oh my gosh, well
- 38:52that does happen. We do have somebody in the chat asking universal SEUs said,
- 38:55what is the LBL? I'm so sorry. I just assume people know
- 38:59that and I talk about it so often. It's actually the Land between the
- 39:02Lakes. I believe it's a recreation area in Kentucky and partially in Tennessee as
- 39:07well. I believe that's right on the Kentucky Tennessee border. Yeah, and
- 39:10there's a lot of dog man reports that come out of that place, and
- 39:14a lot of sasquatch reports. It's about two hundred and fifty thousand acres.
- 39:17It's surrounded by water. It's a public use area, so it's not considered
- 39:22a national park, so you'll never You won't find the Missing four one one
- 39:25profiling it, which I wish they would, because there's so many really odd
- 39:30disappearances there. But even before that was known as the Land between the Lakes,
- 39:35it was known as the Land between the Rivers. It was nineteen sixty
- 39:37three when the Tennessee Valley Authority at Tennessee Valley Authority Tennessee Valley Authority built the
- 39:45two dams on those rivers and created those lakes. Before then it was known
- 39:50as the Land between the rivers. And even then there were dog man type
- 39:52stories. The earliest ones I've been able to find in that area date back
- 39:55to the late sixteen hundreds when French trappers were reporting seeing what they referred to
- 40:00as the loop Guru, which is the French word for werewolf. Oh my
- 40:05gosh, so these things date way back then. And yeah, sightings in
- 40:09the area go back centuries. Okay, well all right, so you and
- 40:15Ida have and Robbie you were there too. I believe we talked about your
- 40:19experience at the Joe Bald Recreation Area in Missouri, and you have another another
- 40:24encounter. Well, you actually have a video of what appears to be a
- 40:28dog man behind you there, and do you want to talk about that just
- 40:31for a second, and maybe about what I saw in our remote you'd hit
- 40:36too. Yeah, I'll let you tell about the remote name, because it's
- 40:39better better to get that first hand. But Joe Bald is an old campground
- 40:44owned by the Army Corps of Engineers here in Missouri. Uh. And they
- 40:47shut it down back of late nineties, early two thousands. And when I
- 40:52started digging into why they shut it down, I found numerous disappearances associated with
- 40:55the park. Uh. And those and then those those accounts online, those
- 41:01those articles about disappearances are gone. You can't find them. My friend Steve
- 41:09wild Man from the show, we went down there to film a promo video
- 41:14for one of my books, a book the lake called The Lakeview Man,
- 41:16which was you know, one of the settings of The lake View Man was
- 41:19in that park. Uh. And while we were filming it, we just
- 41:22went, like I said, I just went down there shoot a couple of
- 41:23minute video to talk about the area, talk about the book. We weren't
- 41:28really planning on capturing anything. It was just shot on a cell phone and
- 41:31uh, you know, we we didn't expect to find anything in the park.
- 41:36Now. However, you know what we found was pretty pretty terrifying.
- 41:40But it wasn't for like a year, almost a year and a half later,
- 41:45we had uploaded the video to eat to YouTube. It'd been on my
- 41:47chant My My My YouTube channel for a while, and I'd noticed that there
- 41:52were quite a bit of spots with eye shine in the background during the video,
- 41:55but I didn't really think too much about it. It's the Missouri Woods,
- 41:59You're gonna get eye shine. But then you know, like a year
- 42:02and a half later, we were showing the promo video on a podcast and
- 42:07one of the guys in the audience, a guy named Thomas Whitney. He
- 42:09said, Hey, something moved behind you. And I'm like, I've watched
- 42:14this video a thousand times, there's nothing in there. He goes, no,
- 42:16I'm telling you, there's a little concrete bridge over here in the background,
- 42:22and something behind one of those trees moved. So I sent the video
- 42:27to some guys I know that do video work and they're like, yeah,
- 42:30there's something back here, and we sent some stills to MK Davis. He
- 42:34goes, yeah, because of the quality of the video, I can't tell
- 42:36you what it is, but there is something there, he says's clearly moving
- 42:40independent of its background. And you know, so we went back out there
- 42:46found the exact tree from the video and kind of did a a side by
- 42:52side comparison, and what we found was that it was about nine feet off
- 42:55the ground and the head was definitely shaped like a wolf. There's ad on
- 43:00my channel called the Joe Bald Breakdown video where you can see stills that we
- 43:04took and the actual video itself. It's pretty interesting. You know. I'm
- 43:07not I'm not saying it's the be all, end all smoking gun, but
- 43:12when you look at it and you see that thing move, there's something there.
- 43:15I can't one hundred percent say it was a dog man, but there
- 43:17is definitely something there watching us. Oh one hundred percent. You can see
- 43:22it. You can absolutely see it. And I was I was tasked a
- 43:24little remote viewing target of that and and what I found was very interesting because
- 43:29from what I can recall, I was getting data like the watchers, it's
- 43:32a watcher, and it's almost like something that was like a guardian of a
- 43:37facility underground there, okay, and that that was what the data suggested.
- 43:40So, and that's something that's really interesting because that comes up more often than
- 43:45not when it comes to cryptis. There's a lot of intermingling with like deep
- 43:49underground military bases or places where there are cave entrances, even inner earth entrances.
- 43:54Potentially you know, something going on. There are tons of caves here,
- 44:00lots of caves. Yeah, caves are a big, a big factor
- 44:05in all this. Now, when I was investigating that cave up in middle
- 44:07North Tennessee, there was really no signs of cryptids, like no track no
- 44:14track lines going in the cave, none coming out. Uh. However,
- 44:16there were feathers like from the couple's chickens that have been taken out of their
- 44:21chicken coop going into the cave, but there were no footprints none, and
- 44:25it was all mud too, which was interesting weird in there. Yeah,
- 44:30they could have been climbing on the lot and that something would have left prints,
- 44:34Yes, one hundred percent. That's what was so confusing. Okay.
- 44:38The only thing, the only kind of activity we got was more paranormal based,
- 44:42like seeing stick figures with the SLS cameras, like giants were like coming
- 44:45out of the cave and hanging out with us. You know, it was
- 44:50really odd. But no cryptids, no cryptids, not inside the cave.
- 44:55So I don't know it. I've always thought like, well, I know,
- 44:59you guys not super intellect the WU factor of bigfoot, right, you
- 45:02guys are more of the flesh and bone camp kind of And but I know
- 45:07you've got open minds. Okay, Well, you know we've we've never said
- 45:10that the possibility of the WU is impossible. We've never said that. I
- 45:15told Robbie give him an experience up at the where I took him to go
- 45:21bigfooting. He was it was going to encounter some WU up there, and
- 45:24I don't know, did it disappoint at all? And no, I mean
- 45:30because we had a really good big foot encounter, so of course it didn't.
- 45:34We didn't. What was saying, it's not what we call the WU
- 45:42is and I think you and I have had this conversation, Jessic. We
- 45:45don't what we call the WU that that extreme far out there, just that,
- 45:52and I've kind of done at it. From the investigator standpoint, from
- 45:55the law enforcement background, is when you're starting an investigation and you can't start
- 46:00at point A and then go straight to point Z, you have to things
- 46:05out and because when you get to point Z, if that, if that
- 46:07theory falls apart, you have nowhere to go. So Z I like that
- 46:14So what d A and I would refer to as the woo is just that
- 46:20point Z thing that once everything else is completely off the table, all those
- 46:27cards are, you know, removed, and it's no possibility. That's what
- 46:31you know, the fact that these things could be spiritual or could be paranormal
- 46:37or anything like that. I don't really consider that wu like some people would
- 46:40say, that's that's just something that's in the realm of possibility. But I
- 46:45start at flesh and blood, and it work towards whatever else. Well,
- 46:52if its and it eats, it's got to be physical exactly. Hey,
- 46:57I'm with y'all. I think they're all three D myself. You know,
- 47:00it's all physical flesh and bone. But I think there's also a super natural
- 47:04element to a lot of this stuff and a lot of these cryptids, the
- 47:06witches, the Cherokee witches, all the legends, and I mean even ghosts.
- 47:10Okay, So I was I'm going a circle back real quick to that
- 47:14story I was telling you guys about the Civil War battlefields because they're so haunted,
- 47:17right. We hear a lot of stories about Civil War battlefields being haunted,
- 47:23a lot of cryptid activity there from werewolves and old Green Eyes. Okay,
- 47:28one of my favorite things to talk about, but it's very dark.
- 47:30Well, my son and I did. I took my son to a haunted
- 47:36Halloween. It was actually Halloween event at the Pickets Mill Battlefield. And as
- 47:40we were leaving that night, it was it was a fun event. Men
- 47:44were dressed up like re enactors of the soldiers, but they were ghosts,
- 47:47like they were dead, you know, And and so it was. It
- 47:52was just a fun spooky event for I thought it was for the kids,
- 47:53but it was really for adults too, apparently. And and as we were
- 47:58walking to the car, there were literal cannons firing in the battlefield as we
- 48:04were leaving, and not a single person reacted to them except for me and
- 48:07my son. Okay, And I was looking around at everybody was dark and
- 48:12I was looking around. Nobody reacted to it at all, and there was
- 48:15no reason for them to be letting off cannons in the middle of the night
- 48:17like that. We were the last group out there, which was really odd.
- 48:21That was that was one of my favorite, like latest like Halloween stories.
- 48:24Because I don't have a whole lot of activity at Halloween. I think
- 48:29I'm too busy with my kid. Okay to pay attention to the veils inning
- 48:34and all that kind of stuff during Halloween. But but yeah, I thought
- 48:37that was an interesting story. Those battles Civil War battlefields. If you don't
- 48:42care if I share something on the screen, I'll show you something. A
- 48:46friend of mine was a volunteer out at Wilson's Creek National Battlefield right outside of
- 48:51Springfield, one of the bloodiest battles fought in the Midwest. It was.
- 48:54It was brutal battle. He was one of the volunteers that at would go
- 49:00and lock the park up when everything was done. Him and his son were
- 49:04out there checking gates. There was nobody else in the park. They were
- 49:07making their final pass through, and he captured this. Let me see if
- 49:12it'll, let me share the screen. Here, there we go. Okay,
- 49:21let's see coming up, there we go. I got it here.
- 49:25You have to put it up on. Yes, okay, this is a
- 49:30cannon from the battlefield. You can see his son playing on the background.
- 49:35But look right here, oh, he said, there was nobody there.
- 49:45See the hat, the the old old blue Dinna blue uniform pants, my
- 49:52shirt. He captured that on on camera and didn't know till like five years
- 49:58ago. Oh my gosh, do you think that's residual kind of a haunt
- 50:02or what do you think that is? I think it's probably the ghost of
- 50:07somebody that died in the battlefield. Oh my gosh. Yeah, there are
- 50:13more. There are more ghost segtings at these battlefields and just about anywhere like
- 50:15Gettysburg, I mean Georgia. We have so many battlefields here in Georgia.
- 50:22It's We've got kennesas State battle We've got the battlefield out there, and they're
- 50:25all near where I live. And they're also near Indian burial mounds to y'all.
- 50:30Okay, I'm not I'm not sure how those places are just areas of
- 50:37super high strangeness, just like we have all over the country. Okay,
- 50:42so wow, very cool. Yeah. I don't get to talk about ghosts
- 50:45very often on my show, okay, cause we really stick to cryptids.
- 50:49I don't know about you guys, but yeah, I did have a guest
- 50:52a couple of weeks ago, maybe it was last weekend, who is a
- 50:55ghost hunter. But you know, even the ghost hunters when I'm out are
- 51:00doing my field research, I do basically do ghost hunting, and I'm not
- 51:02really looking for ghosts, but we're able to measure the cryptids, like cryptid
- 51:07activity and the changes in the environment by using our ghost hunting equipment. Yes,
- 51:13sometimes those fields do overlap, I mean set up looking for one thing
- 51:20and wind up running into something else entirely well, and that's when, uh,
- 51:24I think it was when Greg was on our show. We talked about
- 51:28that thea we because somebody, uh somebody brought the question of you know,
- 51:36uh, sasquatch and paranormal all stuff being interconnected, and I brought the the
- 51:42point up, well, you know, where's someplace that most people are not
- 51:47going to want to go, somewhere that's really haunted, right, most normal
- 51:51people are not going to go to an area like that. Where are these
- 51:54cryptids want to be? They want to be where people are not. So
- 51:58maybe this is just a you know, a coincidental thing that they frequent these
- 52:04areas because that's not where a lot of people are, or it could be.
- 52:08Oh, I don't mean to interrupt you, but all the bloodshed though,
- 52:12because you got a day we're talking about these were wolves and ritualistic stuff
- 52:16happening to conjure some of these cryptids, And I think that there's all the
- 52:22bloodshed, it's all in the land there, so it's conjured. It's like
- 52:23open a portal or something potentially for for spirits to come and go. Well,
- 52:30you had that much suffering in one spot, Oh yeah, yeah,
- 52:35it definitely changes the environment. That's the same thing with like old, old,
- 52:38old closed hospitals or old prisons. There's so much misery and suffering in
- 52:44these places. You can't help but know they're haunted. Oh yeah, people
- 52:49died in the lbl A lot. They're cemetery is all over the ob Yeah.
- 52:54I'm not talking about the people who are supposed to kill by cryptis.
- 52:59We're talking about the people who got People lived and died there. Yeah,
- 53:02when they flooded that whole area, there was a lot of people didn't get
- 53:06out. Oh my gosh ooh that just reminded me of something too. So
- 53:10we have a lake here in Georgia. It's called Lake Lanier, Okay,
- 53:14And and that lake it's it's part of a movie, like somebody just made
- 53:19a movie about it because it's so haunted, y'all. A lot of these
- 53:22lakes. People have no idea how haunted a lake can be. And there's
- 53:25so many drownings in this lake every year. There were entire towns, communities,
- 53:30cities, churches, cemeteries, everything was flooded to make this lake.
- 53:36And people got there and boat on the regular, you know, and party
- 53:39on this lake, and every year it never fells. A number of people
- 53:44go missing from drowning there, and some of them their bodies are never found.
- 53:49There's a story like that here on Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri.
- 53:52When they built Magnal Dam and flooded that valley, they abandoned the town of
- 53:57Lynn Creek. And there's supposedly a lot of settlements in old farmhouses that are
- 54:00at the bottom of the lake too. But the town of Lynn Creek was
- 54:02forcibly abandoned. They didn't want to do it. And supposedly Lynn Creek,
- 54:07Missouri still exists, but it's not in the original site. The original sites
- 54:10underwater. There's houses and churches and a school, all sorts of stuff down
- 54:16there. And my uncle had said that he could hear he was out there
- 54:21fishing one time near the old Lin Creek site and could hear music coming from
- 54:24the water. Ooh from the water. Oh my god, that's kind of
- 54:30scary. But I mean it makes sense. Actually, the first case that
- 54:34I ever a first remote viewing target that I ever did was actually I didn't
- 54:38know it's a blind target. It was a high priority. It was actually
- 54:42someone whose body had been dumped in late Lanear, Okay, and I located
- 54:47it and everything, but they didn't know where the body was. They didn't
- 54:50know what had happened. This guy was just missing. And lo and behold
- 54:53several months later that his body did surface in late Lanear exactly where I said
- 54:58it was from remote viewing. That so very very very interesting stuff. Y'all.
- 55:04Who would have thunk the lake would be haunted? I don't know,
- 55:09but yeah, okay, So do you guys have any kind of Halloween plans?
- 55:13I mean, we've really actually come to the end of the hour already.
- 55:16What do y'all have a planned for this Halloween? Guys? Oh?
- 55:20Well, I've I've still got to kind of get with with Robbie and Doc.
