- 0:00Well, this is super awkward, Amanda. I was just on Facebook and
- 0:03I saw somebody else wishing you a happy anniversary right now, and it dawned
- 0:08at me. I'm like, oh, yeah, we talked about this earlier
- 0:10this week because my anniversary was Wednesday, and I know it's right by yours,
- 0:13but yours is today, Yeah, five years. Oh gosh, sorry,
- 0:17I'm just looking at Facebook. Yeah, I just got a message.
- 0:19I'm just wondering why you hadn't said anything. It's not from my husband,
- 0:22which is weird. I'm being a wife and he hasn't said happy anniversary today.
- 0:27So well, jeez, it's after nine o'clock and your husband, who
- 0:30I know, gets up early, you get up even earlier. What's going
- 0:33on? I think he hasn't said happy a five year anniversary of all kind
- 0:36of feels like maybe he forgot. But now that he's been tagged in this,
- 0:39he probably knows before he before he checks his what does he call it,
- 0:43face face mask face mask, before he checks his face mask notifications.
- 0:47You got a call him, all right, hang on, this is gonna
- 0:49be awkward because he totally forgot. I act like I'm not here. Maybe
- 0:55he's a maybe he's playing hard to get with you. Maybe he's like,
- 0:58he don't even text me. This is weird if he does anything but answer
- 1:04the phone singing happy anniversary. There's a song for that. Oh, I'm
- 1:08sure he can make one up. He's a music man. Come on,
- 1:14Nick, i'st ignoring Nick? Well, Nick? Hello, Hi, Hello,
- 1:23Amanda. Wanted to call you. I don't know why. Oh sorry,
- 1:26it's Pike. Hey sorry, I work with your wife. She's here
- 1:30too. Hey man, Oh hey, Pike. We don't just leave me
- 1:34out here hanging you wanted to call? I mean, what's the deal?
- 1:37I just you had mentioned something a little bit ago, and I was like,
- 1:40oh, yeah, I guess that's a thing. I got nothing to
- 1:42do with this. Hi, Hi, what's up? What's up to today?
- 1:51Just working? Just another just another friday. Huh another friday? T
- 1:57G I f of me a friday. What are you guys? Up to?
- 2:02Nothing? Just writing a check? Here? Mike? What's the date?
- 2:07Like? Oh, you gotta check there, I gotta check here.
- 2:08Let me check on my calendar. Here is it? Bo's eight eighteen?
- 2:13So August eighteen, oh, got it? August one, eight got it?
- 2:16There's another insignificant date. Known eight eighteen kind kind of has a ring,
- 2:23do it? Sorry? Anny? What are you as? Yeah?
- 2:30That be our anniversary. I don't remember you tell me happy anniversary this morning?
- 2:37Yeah, man, you're the first one I know. I whispered it.
- 2:40Nick. Are you sure you weren't just sleeping when you gave me a
- 2:43kiss on the head and said happy anniversary, sweetie? Don't I don't remember
- 2:46that at all? Deep sleep? What do you think the issues? Nick?
- 2:52Do you feel like she's just because she thinks she's a woman, so
- 2:53she doesn't have to go out of her way to, you know, celebrate
- 2:58your day together. Well, she doesn't. She didn't celebrate a whole lot
- 3:01with me, birthdays, anniversaries. Somehow she remembers, like the first day
- 3:08we met, I do well, it happens to also be the first day
- 3:12we met six years ago was today, and then on our one year anniversary
- 3:16of dating, we got married. I tried to simplify this whole thing for
- 3:20him, so we had to remember one day eight eighteen, actually eighteen.
- 3:30You really have a platter for you there, Nicky. Well, hey,
- 3:32but you got a happy anniversary from the bottom of my heart. And five
- 3:36years that's a long time, Pike Nose coming in hot after four year anniversary
- 3:39this week, you remember how long that trip was to the loot? Yeah,
- 3:45I can, I can imagine. It seems like it seemed like it
- 3:47took a week. Oh come on, except four years later, you guys
- 3:51still can't come to grips with having a drive to de lout to watch your
- 3:53dear friend get married. I know. I mean, and when you flew
- 3:57out to our wedding on eight eighteen eighteen and Evergreen, Colorado, right because
- 4:01he didn't invite me. No, we invited you. You just didn't show
- 4:03up. But that's all right anyway, saved us some money on the Chaco
- 4:08bar. The pictures look great anyway, Happy anniversary, enjoy the day.
- 4:12I'm sure Amanda has big plans for you, Nick so big big Yeah.
- 4:16All right, Well, I love you. I just here's to another lifetime
- 4:19of memories. Son, you go in a minute in the morning, big
- 4:27Nutty eight point seven. It's signed for our favorite game. It's a hypothetical
- 4:32situation game. We face ourselves with some moral dilemmas and we find out what
- 4:36do you do? What are you made of today? Pike? I mean,
- 4:41play along in your car By the way, we're working on making a
- 4:43NAT home board game addition, but we're just not there yet. So for
- 4:46now we're going to do it on the radio. All right, Fike,
- 4:48hit me Amanda, and don't panic. These are all hypothetical situation. I
- 4:53know there was a lot of people last week that I thought that you were
- 4:55actually getting hijacked in the back of a car. That was a hypothetical,
- 5:00but you also ended up in a real bizarre situation here, Pike. Okay,
- 5:02you've been granted the opportunity to be anybody for one day. Literally,
- 5:08anybody you get to pick, you get to know all of their thoughts,
- 5:13even the dirty ones. The twist is you have to sit down for a
- 5:16tell all interview after you spend the day as this person and dish absolutely everything,
- 5:20all the dirty laundry. So, Pike, I'm dying to know who
- 5:24you're gonna pick. Who could you possibly pick? So, Pike, you
- 5:29keep forgetting how to how to do that game? Okay, can't If you
- 5:32can't play right, we're not gonna play at all. Okay, what do
- 5:36I do? Probably my wife? Huh really, I mean Billy, And
- 5:45then I don't know why that didn't even come to mind. But that's hilarious.
- 5:48Wouldn't it Wait a day in their life or you're just in their head.
- 5:53You're in their head, you get to live a day in their life,
- 5:55all of it. Yes, the full on experience. I mean really,
- 5:58I could talk about wanting to give yourself a performance grade. See what
- 6:03the experience is really like from the other side. And she's gonna be like
- 6:09thinking of all these other guys and doing I mean that's talking about Amanda.
- 6:13No, but really really do I mean what if? What if you get
- 6:15in there and it's like, oh my god, all she doesn't think about
- 6:21the guy from Sons of Anarchy? How does she possibly even get through a
- 6:29meeting at work? Charlie on him's just a little in her head? Oh
- 6:32god, yeah, I get Okay, I'll go with then. So,
- 6:35Amanda, your turn. A mobster in Italian mobster tells you he's got I
- 6:43don't know, he cornered you somewhere in the grocery store. He says,
- 6:46he really needs you to rob a bank for him. Now, if you
- 6:49successfully rob the bank, he's gonna give you one billion dollars and a stable
- 6:56of horses. Oh Goshallian. But now, If you get caught, you're
- 7:02gonna have to serve one year in a federal prison. Of course it's your
- 7:06first offense, but you'll be released on parole after that if you do it
- 7:12successfully, though, billion dollars in the stable of horses a whole year away.
- 7:24What do you do? And not a chance when I survive in jail.
- 7:27I'm gonna have to pass on this because I'm gonna I'm gonna get busted.
- 7:30I said, federal prison. You're not going to gen Pop. You're
- 7:33gonna be in a nice little room. You're not. No, you wouldn't
- 7:38survive. Would What would be the problem, Well, let's just be really
- 7:41honest here, Pike. I could not rob a bank like that. Just
- 7:44would not be possible. Stick them up. I don't know. You know,
- 7:47people say like you don't get away with it anymore. That's like from
- 7:50the old West. But there was a guy that robbed a bank Untilworth when
- 7:54I was in high school, the little what is it called the Northwestern Bank
- 7:56whatever? I think he got away with it. Oh, I'm just saying
- 7:59it's not impossible. Okay, you know I wouldn't be able to do that.
- 8:01Okay, somebody correct me. If you know that story. Maybe maybe
- 8:05they got him. I hate to see you're really giving hope to those who
- 8:07want to rob a bank, Pike, and I don't like it. No,
- 8:09don't get unless you're in this situation, and then give it a go
- 8:13again. All right, here we go. So some bozo decides to slide
- 8:16into your wife's DMS. Of course she tells you about it, because that
- 8:20guy from Sons of Anarchy. No, she tells you about it. She's
- 8:24uncomfortable, and she's honest with you. You guys have a solid marriage.
- 8:28She says, Hey, I'll handle it. I'll tell the guy to back
- 8:31off. He does it, She says, I'm flattered. I'm happily married.
- 8:37I think the situation is handled because clearly she sends him a message.
- 8:41That's it. Yeah, but you're downtown one night, you're actually on stage
- 8:46with your band, were playing blow standards. You're playing at Fargo Buring Company,
- 8:52and you're in the middle of one of your bangers and you see this
- 8:56guy. Okay, he walks up to your wife Lauren, gives her a
- 9:01hug. He's whispering in her ear. Your mid song. You are mid
- 9:07song, so Pike whispering, who knows what he's saying. Gave her a
- 9:13little hug, you add to it? What else? What else did they
- 9:18do? I don't know, but you're in the middle of a banger.
- 9:20What do you do well, Amanda? Funny you should say that, because
- 9:24you know, we've played many many shows downtown at the Pickled Parent and went
- 9:28on on stage and she's in the crowd. There have been times where guys
- 9:31just think, oh, it's just a single, lonely girl out on the
- 9:33dance floor partying to this random band, just a groupie of ls. It's
- 9:37it's our wives and girlfriend's favorite thing to do is talk about how like you
- 9:41know, they'll get hit on and then they get to go, oh,
- 9:43my husband's in the band, that's him up there. Oh gosh, this
- 9:46one hit Sorry, I didn't know this was a real life. I thought
- 9:48this was supposed to be hypothetical. No, this one hit home. So
- 9:52no, realistically, like it's happened where somebody will be like obviously hitting on
- 9:54her and she's a hottie. If we're in the middle of you know,
- 9:58what's my age again? By blink one eighty two. I'm just gonna keep
- 10:01ripping. I'm just gonna keep ripping Wow, even after he slid into her
- 10:05DMS and he is hot after your Oh I forgot about that part. You
- 10:07know, he is hot after her, he's basically stalking her. But then
- 10:11I'm gonna get on the mic after the song and just humiliate the guy and
- 10:15be like, I mean, hey, this guy, uh, you know,
- 10:16booped his pants. Get him out of here. And then I'm gonna
- 10:20make the bar staff take him out of the barop his pants. Hell humiliating,
- 10:26all right, a man? A final one for what do you do?
- 10:28You're all set to fly out on a vacation with your husband Nick to
- 10:33a Ruba, Jamaica. I won't say yeah. Now the flight leaves tomorrow.
- 10:39You've you've literally been saving for two years using money you've earned from your
- 10:45daughter's lemonade stand. You and Nick are going on a trip now. Suddenly,
- 10:50the night before the flight, you get a call. You find out
- 10:54that your good friend and co host Pike was in a horrible horse riding accident.
- 11:00Gosh, he was trampled by an entire staple of horses. You are
- 11:05on a horse kick lately, same one's from the first story, by the
- 11:09way, Now he's broken every bone in his body. But he is alive,
- 11:13but in critical condition at a cent of health. Now you've already checked
- 11:18in for your flight. Literally on the app you're checked in. Yeah,
- 11:22but they're not sure if he's gonna make it. So, Amanda got a
- 11:30rube is beautiful this time of year. It's this time of year. Termine
- 11:37what your answer is or what absolutely is it the dead of winter or is
- 11:39it sunny and ninety and late girl vibes here, because that's a huge difference.
- 11:45It's winter, it's January. Oh gosh, last winter was brutal.
- 11:48You weren't here for it, That's what I hear. I can't wait for
- 11:52your winter like I'm gonna be the first one with flowers at a cent of
- 11:58health. Making sure you're okay on the way to the airport or what,
- 12:01No, skip my trip? You're skipping your trip, yep. Because I'm
- 12:05also gonna have to fill in on the morning show because you're gonna be can
- 12:09come to work? I mean, all right, Ruba maybe next year in
- 12:13the morning seven. Can we enter the judgment zone quick? Why not get
- 12:20a little judge on a Friday? Yeah, it's okay to be a little
- 12:22judge because the situation calls for it. This husband has an issue with his
- 12:26wife wanting to be an underwear model. She wrote on l on Reddit that
- 12:33she wanted She's now forty two years old. Okay, her and her husband
- 12:35have a four year old son four years old, and she has an opportunity
- 12:39to become an underwear model and make money doing so. She does not disclose
- 12:45how much money. But the husband is giving a hard no. He said
- 12:48he does not want other people seeing her body like that. Sir. She
- 12:54wants to know if she should listen to him or defy his request and go
- 13:00ahead with it. You can't really defy your husband's request in that situation.
- 13:03I think you can. I think she might even probably should. You know,
- 13:07if you have this opportunity and she's obviously you probably wouldn't be given the
- 13:11opportunity if she wasn't with a rock and body. So I think, go,
- 13:15boy, don't you? I don't know. I just I also try
- 13:18to reverse the roles. I'm not gonna want my husband in an underwear situation,
- 13:22and people are like, ooo, really, what's a man in underwear?
- 13:24It's like and now she makes a good point. She says, it's
- 13:28the same thing I wear to the beach or the pool. So what's the
- 13:31difference your husband and underwear? What's it? I don't know, but I
- 13:33guess it's for the world to see. I could see how you would be
- 13:35uncomfortable. And maybe the father's also taking it. Hey, my four year
- 13:39old kid doesn't. Also there's there's mom in her underwear. But that's nothing.
- 13:46How many people can I go on their Instagram and right now see them
- 13:48at the beach in a bikini and they're not even get paid for it.
- 13:50Yeah, she had a chance to provide for the family. You got four
- 13:52year old kid not cheap? You know that. Do we know how much
- 13:56money is on the day? Boy, you do not know? Fight make
- 13:58a different terrible if she got paid five hundred bucks to take a picture in
- 14:03her underwear, Like, great's what's going on in a little trump? What's
- 14:07no that's going to be I will say. I mean it could be worse.
- 14:09Because when I was growing up in the major metropolis of Glendon, Minnesota,
- 14:15small town and you know the life in the small town, Oh do
- 14:18Yeah? There was there was a family whose mom beautiful young lady at the
- 14:22time, she seemed old, but she was probably like twenty five or something.
- 14:26Was a performer at a club here in Fargo, over off of yep,
- 14:31over off of University. Uh. And yes, so she would dance
- 14:33there and everybody knew it. And so you know, as kids, little
- 14:37boys like those poor kids had to hear about it from everybody because not only
- 14:43was the mom very hot, you know, in the world of Stiffler's mom
- 14:46back in the day, you know, it was. So have you convinced
- 14:48yourself? Maybe? Nah? I mean, she's providing for the family.
- 14:52No, I'm just saying. What I'm saying is no, it could be
- 14:54worse. I'm saying this is nothing. Of course she should be able to,
- 14:56you know, be in her underwear. If Lauren wanted to do this
- 14:58really for everybody, I would. I'm shocked by that. I guess I
- 15:03feel like this is a husband wife conversation. If your husband does not agree
- 15:07with it, it's like, okay, then no your mine, I'm yours.
- 15:09We're in a relationship together, and you geez amend of the forties called
- 15:13what do you guys think? One seven? Old school Amanda in the morning
- 15:20on Ready, that's he is type in hot today. No, Amanda stills
- 15:31the sea, Let's see buckle up, you guys. It's all about Britney
- 15:35Spears. Today, her and her soon to be ex husband's divorce is gonna
- 15:39get nasty. He cited irreconcilable differences as his reason for divorcing Brittany and listed
- 15:45their separation date as July twenty eighth. Now he wants spousal support and also
- 15:48wants her to pay his legal fees. The documents also say he reserves the
- 15:52right to amend any of their property in community assets. They have a pre
- 15:56nup, so I don't think there's gonna be any amendments here. But he
- 16:00is threatening to go public with extraordinarily embarrassing information about Brittany unless he gets paid.
- 16:04Don't we call that blackmail and extortion? Well, in a way is
- 16:10it? Like is it black and white? Just illegal? I'm pretty sure.
- 16:14I mean, if you have some leverage, what's wrong with using a
- 16:17little leverage. Well, he is also accusing Britney Spears of domestic violence.
- 16:21He frequently complained that she was getting physical with him, and the numerous incidents
- 16:25that have happened over the past seven years of their relationship. She even attacked
- 16:29him while he was sleeping, leaving him with a black guy. I guess.
- 16:32The report shows photographs of him with bruises and other injuries that were allegedly
- 16:36caused by Brittany. The couple also allegedly got into several fights string in which
- 16:41the security had to intervene. So if this does to go to court and
- 16:44people have to start talking, this could get really nasty. He said that
- 16:47he was also concerned about the violence, particularly because Brittany has a fascination with
- 16:51knives and keeps them all around the house. You're not telling me she's like
- 16:56a sword girl, is she? No? I don't think, like,
- 16:59Okay, it's like we're gonna stop in knives. Yeah, she does keep
- 17:02knives in the bedroom. She was paranoid someone was going to get her and
- 17:04she needed the knives as protection. And he was scared that she could fly
- 17:08off the handle over almost anything. And we're also finding out there was some
- 17:12lies going on. Now. Her loneliness is killing her. Brittany has not
- 17:17been on good terms with her family, but her loneliness is killing her.
- 17:21That's just the worst. And you said it's so castually, get better.
- 17:26Delete that from the story. And she's so lucky, she's a star.
- 17:33But her parents and oops, she did it again. Yeah yeah, yeah,
- 17:41yeah, yeah, what happened. So her loneliness is killing her.
- 17:51Britney Spears is not on good terms with her family, so we thought,
- 17:59oh my gosh. Her meeting with her mom back in May went okay,
- 18:03but there's still a lot of hurt there. So we're finding out that in
- 18:07June and she was supposed to have met up with her sister, Jamie Lynn.
- 18:10Well Jamie Lynn is like, no, that just absolutely never happened.
- 18:12But her sister is supporting the divorce. She liked the people post of them
- 18:17being separated. I'm guessing that's showing your support, Like, I'm glad that
- 18:21this divorce is happening, right, I think they all probably agree that it
- 18:23was a good thing. And you know, it depends on who you are.
- 18:26Sometimes you run, sometimes you hide. Just kind of depends. And
- 18:33we are all about Pink today, gonna be at the Fargo Jump tomorrow night,
- 18:37and is she gonna sing this song and do the same thing she did
- 18:38on Wednesday? She was showing her support for Britney Spears as well. Now
- 18:42you know her song guys Don't let Me Get Me? Yeah, Now,
- 18:49one of my favorites. So the lyrics are originally about the comparisons between Britney
- 18:55and Pink, and it's as tired of being compared to dam Britney spears,
- 18:57she's so pretty that just ain't me. But she updated the lyrics last night,
- 19:12Sweet Britney Spears. Also just listen to her voice. I am so
- 19:18jacked for this concert tomorrow night. Now. Spoiler though, because if you're
- 19:21going to the show and you were expecting to hear that song, I'm a
- 19:22little confused because she didn't play it the last time I saw her, and
- 19:26I was upset by that because I love it, and she played many other
- 19:29less popular songs. I just don't get that. But then you know,
- 19:32we looked at the set list and I didn't see it on there, But
- 19:33now here she is playing it. So I don't know who knows. It's
- 19:36going to be a surprise. I hope her daughter, Willow is going to
- 19:38be with her. We really don't know what to expect, other than the
- 19:41fact that we have a huge announcement coming up at seven fifty one this morning.
- 19:45Let's lock it in for seven fifty one morning about Pink and this is
- 19:51gonna be wild, wild like in a mina in the morning on Big Nutty
- 19:56eight points seven. You're a girl, right, man? I am integracy
- 20:00girl girl as well. Well, you guys know all about girl math,
- 20:03then don't you girl math? You said math, and speaking of you get
- 20:08sweaty. I get anxious with math. Well, you know they're always changing
- 20:11how you do it? Right? Well, girl math is a new way
- 20:14of doing math. It's picking up steam on the platform X formerly known as
- 20:18Twitter. Got it. This woman was talking about how girls use girl math
- 20:22when purchasing luxury items to justify making said purchases. Basically, it's on sale
- 20:30and that's her reason. She says. If an item is on sale and
- 20:33it's an item that you're going to need eventually, you're losing money if you
- 20:37don't buy it. And it's you know, logical into you in a way.
- 20:41Now, I mean, what are the luxury items? Because I can't
- 20:45think of any luxury items that you're going to quote need. Oh my gosh,
- 20:48a purse. What are you going to do with all those things?
- 20:51How are you going to carry your nooks and gadgets? Yeah, exactly,
- 20:53and your kids diapers and all the things that you have and your husband's stuff
- 20:57when they decided to put it in mom's purse. Other girl Math tricks include
- 21:02rounding figures down and dividing the items priced by how many times you will use
- 21:07or wear that item. So you get three dollar a dress, but you
- 21:11wear it twenty times, you're really only paying fifteen dollars. According to girl
- 21:15Math, we shouldn't be talking about this on air. I feel like this
- 21:18is like a secret These are secret weapons. Girls. You deserve to be
- 21:22exposed. I love that, and you know how many And I've yet to,
- 21:26like officially catcher, I don't have the evidence I need. But my
- 21:27wife constantly will have a new outfit on and it's just the classic. I'm
- 21:32like, oh wait, when'd you get that? And it's never like I
- 21:33got it a month ago. It's never I got it four months ago.
- 21:37It's always literally have had it for years. I'm like, so you we've
- 21:41moved several times. I don't remember a giant bag of clothes I've never seen
- 21:45before, So where are they coming from? Like get a mina in the
- 21:47morning, you know, when you're maybe on a plane, maybe you're just
- 21:52in public, and somebody buy you who you don't even know is on their
- 21:56phone and they're texting and you can like clearly see the screen to their phone.
- 22:00Oh yeah, and you're trying not to be that person, but you
- 22:03always interesting to kind of look over. I mean, do you try.
- 22:07I'm sure some people do. Some people just embrace it. It's like,
- 22:08oh yeah, what are you talking about? Well, this woman on an
- 22:11airplane sitting next to a stranger a man noticed on his phone as he was
- 22:17texting in the seat next door. Then he fired off and I love you
- 22:21text okay, perfectly normal. You're leaving, you know, before you turn
- 22:23your phone and airplane mode like a good boy. And honestly probably the last
- 22:27text. Most people said. Well, then it got interesting when he pulled
- 22:32up another text and said I love you to another woman, and so ladies
- 22:37going, oh my god, I am sitting next to it. Just a
- 22:41full fledged cheater. Oh my gosh, this is so what does she do
- 22:45ridiculous? Just minds her business and goes about the flight. No, not
- 22:49this a we'll call her a Janet. I don't know it sound like a
- 22:52janet anyway. She decides to confront my man and says, oh no,
- 22:56she did not look and says, you should be ashamed. Of yourself.
- 23:00She threatens to expose him on social media. How well, you're gonna take
- 23:03a picture of this guy who's sitting next to you at the airplane and be
- 23:07like, do I love you? Text in one minute? I mean,
- 23:10come on, got to be sleeping with somebody else. Uh No. It
- 23:12turns out my man who posted this story on TikTok, said that it wasn't
- 23:17his lover he was texting. It was his daughter. The second I was
- 23:22going to his daughter. And if you're a wild woman, would feel the
- 23:27need to intrude in somebody else's situation, because if this is me, I'd
- 23:32probably like dirty dog. And you're thinking about it, but it's also just
- 23:34this weird entertainment that you're giving yourself, thinking what does this guy do in
- 23:38his lifetime? You know, like asking questions if you want to engage and
- 23:41have a conversation, but this is none of your business. I mean,
- 23:45in the embarrassment, imagine confronting him and then him saying that and her just
- 23:51going like, oh my god. And now you're you're so far into it,
- 23:55like there's no just easy exit from this conversation. You know, you're
- 23:57all in. You got now you probably have to like start arguing, and
- 24:00now you have to see screen, like show me the tax, prove it
- 24:03to me. Well, and you gotta think this guy's gotta go. Lady,
- 24:07you are like a scorn woman like that you would even go that route.
- 24:11I mean, it never once crossed her mind that it could be he
- 24:14could have jeez, what if he had another daughter? And three I Love
- 24:17you text went out? I mean, how about I send a four I
- 24:23like in a minute in the morning, big nutty eight point seven. When's
- 24:26the last time you checked out a library book? You know, of course
- 24:29you can accumulate late fees. And there was this library over in Canada that
- 24:33just received a book that was overdue. Guess how long the book had been
- 24:37overdue? Five years? Five? No, nope, it was checked out
- 24:41in the year nineteen thirty seven. Oh stopping eighty six years ago? Is
- 24:45that when they were still doing the Dewey desk bul system. What are they
- 24:49not doing that or what? I don't think so. I feel like everything's
- 24:52pretty computerized these days. They probably it's probably still exists, right, I
- 24:56mean, you do have to go find the book? Oh yeah, I
- 24:57got just maybe not the card catalog? Yeah, I bet you'd have to
- 25:02go through. But somebody returned it and they said there's no late fee because
- 25:04they waved all late fees last year apparently, so now you can just take
- 25:08books and it's just the honor system. Just hey, but just bring it
- 25:12back please, It's going to be on your conscience. And at this point,
- 25:17well, I imagine this person for eighties six years had to go to
- 25:19bed at night knowing that what they've done, it's just a good reader.
- 25:23I bet though, Well, just maybe it took that long. Maybe they
- 25:26didn't say how big the book was. Yeah, every once in a while
- 25:29you started booking, like, am I ever going to finish this? Nothing
- 25:30better in getting into a good one that you can't put down. Though it's
- 25:33been a while. Yeah, I haven't rented many books or what do you
- 25:37call it checking them out? But my wife does. But no, I
- 25:40rented a movie once speaking it will overdue things. I rented a movie and
- 25:44this was when I was single. You know, remember that do Fall of
- 25:47twenty thirteen. Yeah, and so I rented Home. It was coming up
- 25:51on Christmas season and you know me big Home alone guys. Oh, I
- 25:55know, I'm really excited because my kids love Home Alone. They've already started
- 25:59wanting to watch it again. You'll have to come over and watch with the
- 26:00fail, we'll have to watch the second one, which, as everyone knows,
- 26:04is the better picture. Home Alone too lost in New York. So
- 26:07anyway, I checked this out because this was my way when I was first
- 26:11starting to day Lauren, in fact my wife. Now, I thought like,
- 26:12oh, this will be a cute little thing. Get him over to
- 26:15the house. Say hey, I rented Home Alone two from cash Wise Video.
- 26:18Yeah, this is my favorite Christmas movie. I like it, like,
- 26:23with no intentions of anything else other than watching the film. Yeah,
- 26:26And so I did, and you know, silly met in college at the
- 26:30time, just didn't return the movie. And so months went by, and
- 26:33then you know, they never called, no offensive cash Wise Video rest in
- 26:37Peace. But they never called or they had the wrong number. So anyway,
- 26:40didn't they just like go out of business? Yeahs as Mighty did.
- 26:44And that's the thing about it. They went out of business, and I
- 26:45thought, well, hey, I win. You know, that's it.
- 26:48It's my movie. Now I would think, yeah, Well, years go
- 26:52by and I start a band and we need some equipment. So we go
- 26:55to the bank and say hey, can we get a loan? And they
- 26:56say, yeah, we gotta run your credit and I go, sure,
- 27:00should be fine. Not fine, because a twenty five dollars late fee was
- 27:07sent to collections. Get out of here, and I never got anything.
- 27:10I didn't know anything about that. You know, when you move every eight
- 27:12months, it's kind of hard to keep up with your address. And so
- 27:15my credit was just destroyed because and I'm like, what the heck is it?
- 27:19What's in collections? I look and it was a late fee to the
- 27:22now dead Ashby's video. Wow, what you did for a little Marvin Harry
- 27:27a little more? Now here's what you need to know. Well, it
- 27:33was tough to watch, but I think a lot of us did because it
- 27:36was so dramatic. And the video footage was released yesterday from the shooting that
- 27:38happened last month in Fargo that left one officer dead and just seeing how fast
- 27:45it happens. You can hear from you know, the Attorney General Drew Wrigley
- 27:48a few weeks ago talking about it, but seeing it and just knowing that
- 27:52he was standing there knowing what he was plotting, and they had no idea
- 27:55what was about to happen. Yeah, just a routine traffic accident and just
- 27:59the actions of Officer Robinson, which we knew he was a hero. I
- 28:03mean, he stopped obviously what could have been exponentially larger of a tragedy.
- 28:07But just seeing it in action is unbelievable. Truly, the training that he
- 28:11had to have had, and even then, you can train and train and
- 28:12train, but you can't simulate that real life experience and the way he handled
- 28:17it. I think we're forever indebted to that man, so heroic. Absolutely,
- 28:22the Twoey family, they are now saying that they will end their conservativeship
- 28:25of Michael Or. We knew this was probably gonna happen. My heart breaks
- 28:27for them because the Michael Lewis, who was actually the guy who wrote the
- 28:30Blindside book. That was a book, Yes, it was a book originally,
- 28:33and then it turned into a movie. That's usually how it goes,
- 28:36Pike, is that right, Usually how it goes. Skipping into the film.
- 28:41He said none of the real life figures featured in the film really received
- 28:45any money, and the thirteen years since it was released, he said,
- 28:47everybody should just be mad at the Hollywood studio system. Michael Or if he
- 28:51wanted the money he should go on the Hollywood Writers Strike. It was a
- 28:53deal that nobody had signed up for it, or I guess what they all
- 28:56signed up for, probably not realizing that Sandra Bullock was going to get an
- 29:00oscar, not realizing how much money you were gonna get. Yeah, I
- 29:03don't care how much money any of them get, really, but you know,
- 29:07it just sounds like it's all a done deal now, right, I
- 29:08mean yes. Sandra Bullock also chiming in though, and she's just devastated by
- 29:12the claims that the film might have been based on a lie, and she
- 29:15just feels icky about it because her name is getting drug through this, like
- 29:18she would have known. And Okay, you're an actress who was portraying somebody
- 29:22with the script that you were given, and who cares. It's a small
- 29:26detail. It's not the whole film was completely made up out of thin air.
- 29:29It was like, was he adopted or was he signed under a conservative
- 29:32ship? What's the difference? He still was taken in by this family and
- 29:36yeah, a great life. He was probably a better football player than they
- 29:38made it out for him to be. You know, when they first found
- 29:41him, he was like, oh, what's a football, you know.
- 29:45But with that's, of course, there's Hollywood. Be in Hollywood. I
- 29:52mean, what really got me is a SJ isn't a redhead. I just
- 29:56saw a picture of SJA. I'm really confused. Is because that is not
- 30:00the little boy I saw? Oh my gosh. Jamie Fox. He released
- 30:06a little bit yesterday on social media. He posted a picture of himself on
- 30:10Instagram. He's just leaning up against a wall and the caption says, you're
- 30:14looking at a man who's thankful, finally starting to feel like myself. It's
- 30:18been an expected, unexpected, dark journey, but I can see the light.
- 30:23How about you give us a medical diagnosis otherwise just stop, just stop.
- 30:27Yeah, it's driving me crazy. I'm so glad that he's good,
- 30:32of course, but you're just just a big old teeth I think he I
- 30:37think he just like stubbed his toe and that's this whole thing. Something's coming.
- 30:41Hey my wife stubbed her toe once and had to have surgery. Can
- 30:44better? Oh yeah, it can be very traumatic and rehab maybe afterwards who
- 30:48was doing she was doing? She's killed me if I told it was after
- 30:53a show one time and she you know, had a few drinks and she
- 30:56was trying to do like a cart wheel over the couch. Oh it didn't,
- 31:02it didn't end well. It's been a few days at Stanford. The
- 31:07visual I have just solid acrobats. It sounds like you two have a lot
- 31:11in common. I mean both of you. You were doing FM aerial arts
- 31:15yesterday trying to be like Pink. She's doing cartwheels over couches. It sounds
- 31:18like a couple of athletes. Just wait, if we have a kid going
- 31:22on. If we have a kid, watch out. Twenty thirty six Olympics.
- 31:26Here we come. We are not prepared for that. Weather wise today
- 31:30it is going to be sunny, a little wind, high of eighty two.
