- 0:31Speaker 3: A man is trying to sell his dog to a neighbor.
- 0:35Speaker 3: You can have this dog for only five dollars, and
- 0:38Speaker 3: he can actually talk, says the man. His neighbor says,
- 0:42Speaker 3: that's ridiculous. Everyone knows dogs can't speak. The dog looks
- 0:47Speaker 3: up at the neighbor with a big, sad doggy eyes
- 0:50Speaker 3: and says, oh, please, kind sir, buy me. I won't
- 0:55Speaker 3: have to live with my cruel master. He won't feed
- 0:59Speaker 3: me or bay me, and he never takes me out
- 1:02Speaker 3: for walks. I was once the most rich dog in
- 1:06Speaker 3: the whole wide world. I've played several roles in award
- 1:11Speaker 3: winning movies. I've spoken to kings, queens and presidents. I
- 1:17Speaker 3: thought in the war and got several medals. I even
- 1:20Speaker 3: got to travel to the moon. Hey he can talk,
- 1:25Speaker 3: says the neighbor in amazement. But why are you offering
- 1:30Speaker 3: him for just five dollars, he asked the owner, because
- 1:35Speaker 3: snarls the man. I'm sick of him always lying. We
- 1:46Speaker 3: should always be adaptable and open to what life has
- 1:50Speaker 3: to teach us. The lessons of life come to us.
- 1:55Speaker 3: We can become better people if we remain open to
- 1:58Speaker 3: what life has to teach us. We will talk about
- 2:01Speaker 3: this in this week's episode of Positively three sixty five,
- 2:06Speaker 3: But first we have our trivia question of the day.

- 4:24Speaker 3: The question was which country won the first FIFA World
- 4:28Speaker 3: Cup in nineteen thirty? The answer Uruguay. Uruguay won the
- 4:35Speaker 3: first FIFA World Cup in nineteen thirty, defeating Argentina four
- 4:40Speaker 3: to two in the final. As both the host nation
- 4:44Speaker 3: and the reigning Olympic champions. Uruguay's victory was a significant
- 4:50Speaker 3: milestone in the history of international soccer, solidifying its position
- 4:56Speaker 3: as a dominant force in the early years of the sport.
- 5:00Speaker 2: Now you know.
- 5:07Speaker 3: In life, we must remain open to the school of life,
- 5:11Speaker 3: which teaches us lessons beyond the confines of traditional education.
- 5:17Speaker 3: Life's unpredictability and challenges offer valuable opportunities for growth, and
- 5:23Speaker 3: staying adaptable is key to embracing these lessons. Flexibility in
- 5:29Speaker 3: our thinking and approach allows us to navigate obstacles with resilience,
- 5:34Speaker 3: seeing them not as setbacks but as stepping stones to
- 5:39Speaker 3: greater understanding and maturity. The world constantly evolves, and those
- 5:44Speaker 3: who stay rigid in their beliefs or resist change often
- 5:48Speaker 3: miss out on the wisdom that comes from life's ever
- 5:52Speaker 3: shifting landscape. Staying adaptable means accepting that we don't always
- 5:58Speaker 3: have all the answers and being open to learning from
- 6:01Speaker 3: every situation, even those that seem uncomfortable or unfamiliar. This
- 6:07Speaker 3: mindset encourages continuous growth, pushing us to expand our perspectives
- 6:14Speaker 3: and develop new skills. By remaining open and adaptable, we
- 6:19Speaker 3: cultivate a deeper connection with the world around us, constantly
- 6:23Speaker 3: evolving and adapting to both the external environment and our
- 6:28Speaker 3: internal growth, which ultimately leads to a more fulfilling, and
- 6:34Speaker 3: meaningful life. There is an old African proverb that says,
- 6:47Speaker 3: if a tree does not know how to dance, the
- 6:50Speaker 3: wind will teach it. The meaning here is that you
- 6:55Speaker 3: must live and learn, be adaptable and open to the
- 7:00Speaker 3: school of life.
