- 0:34Speaker 2: Could it be?
- 0:35Speaker 4: Maybe. I don't know if he's our favorite or not,
- 0:37Speaker 4: but it's your favorite.
- 0:38Speaker 1: Maybe.
- 0:39Speaker 3: Who knows?
- 0:40Speaker 4: It's Aaron Randolph.
- 0:41Speaker 3: He's pretty fucking great.
- 0:42Speaker 2: I am nobody's favorite.
- 0:44Speaker 4: All right.
- 0:44Speaker 3: Nobody's favorite Aaron Randolph.
- 0:46Speaker 4: Well, look, you're one of our favorites. That would be
- 0:49Speaker 4: the better way.
- 0:50Speaker 5: To say it.
- 0:50Speaker 3: I think you're pretty fine.
- 0:52Speaker 4: I think you're amazing, but I don't know if I
- 0:54Speaker 4: like you better than James or not, so I just
- 0:57Speaker 4: would rather not.
- 0:57Speaker 3: Let's maybe stop ranking people.
- 0:58Speaker 2: Who is this James person? I will rip this girl out.
- 1:02Speaker 3: Oh my goodness. Boys get so competitive.
- 1:07Speaker 4: Yeah just just sorry what i meant was you're our
- 1:10Speaker 4: favorite guest of all time.
- 1:11Speaker 2: Yeah yes yeah there's.
- 1:13Speaker 3: No one else in the world.
- 1:13Speaker 4: Yep nobody even remote i like you better than our guest.
- 1:18Speaker 3: More than anybody else club freeze frame.
- 1:21Speaker 4: That's amazing i i didn't know i needed that until
- 1:24Speaker 4: you gave it to me.
- 1:25Speaker 3: It's wild is that what you were going for yeah
- 1:29Speaker 3: i think.
- 1:29Speaker 4: So 100 amazing i'd love to know the end of
- 1:33Speaker 4: that joke that he tells when he falls through the
- 1:35Speaker 4: ceiling Do you want me to give you one of
- 1:37Speaker 4: my earrings?
- 1:39Speaker 3: That means we're dating.
- 1:40Speaker 2: I'm good. I'm good.
- 1:42Speaker 4: God, again, you're so fast on the nose. Be nice
- 1:45Speaker 4: to me as a hostess. All right, let's go. What's good, people?
- 1:49Speaker 4: How's life?
- 1:50Speaker 3: Girls want everyone to want them all the time, Erin.
- 1:53Speaker 3: Even if you don't, just say you do.
- 1:56Speaker 4: No.
- 1:58Speaker 3: All right, that's fine.
- 1:59Speaker 1: I am.
- 2:01Speaker 2: I'm good, thanks. My standard response.
- 2:05Speaker 4: There's polite kayfabe, sir.
- 2:07Speaker 3: Maybe he's aromantic, I don't know.
- 2:10Speaker 4: No, he's Aaron.
- 2:12Speaker 2: At this point in my life, I am Aaron, yes. But,
- 2:16Speaker 2: I don't know, yeah. Feels like less and less of
- 2:19Speaker 2: a priority as time goes on.
- 2:22Speaker 4: Oh, see, Aaron got a groove back.
- 2:24Speaker 3: If you're in the Buffalo area and you'd like to
- 2:26Speaker 3: date a book subbie.
- 2:28Speaker 1: Email us. What is wrong with you? We'll hook you up.
- 2:33Speaker 2: Please see a therapist because you need help.
- 2:37Speaker 3: You can kick his ass apparently. He likes it.
- 2:40Speaker 2: I mean, I do like it.
- 2:44Speaker 3: How's it going, Aaron?
- 2:45Speaker 2: How's the book coming? I thought we all froze for
- 2:46Speaker 2: a second there. I was like, did I just lose
- 2:48Speaker 2: the Zoom meeting? What the fuck?
- 2:49Speaker 4: You lost the room. We all froze because we weren't
- 2:52Speaker 4: sure what to say because you don't want us to
- 2:54Speaker 4: be like, what's up? You're hot. And you don't want
- 2:56Speaker 4: us to be like.
- 2:58Speaker 2: Don't be nice to us, we hate you. Yeah, so obviously,
- 3:03Speaker 2: I have no retort to that. What's up? I don't know.
- 3:09Speaker 2: Not a lot. Not writing, I'll tell you that much.
- 3:11Speaker 1: Not writing?
- 3:12Speaker 2: Okay. No, each time I try, I fail. So I'm
- 3:15Speaker 2: just like, you know what?
- 3:16Speaker 3: Hit the wall there.
- 3:17Speaker 2: Oh yeah, the wall is like the Great Wall of
- 3:19Speaker 2: China times 10,000. It's huge.
- 3:23Speaker 1: Any new gaming projects?
- 3:24Speaker 2: Gaming nuts. I have a couple on the way, but
- 3:29Speaker 2: they're not here yet, so I'm just kind of twiddling
- 3:31Speaker 2: my thumbs waiting for them to arrive. But yeah, I'm
- 3:35Speaker 2: selling some of my old stuff.
- 3:36Speaker 3: Oh, are you?
- 3:37Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah. Stevie wants something that I showed him a
- 3:41Speaker 2: while back, and I'm like, yeah, absolutely. So I take
- 3:44Speaker 2: that money and I put that towards the next thing,
- 3:47Speaker 2: whatever that's going to be.
- 3:49Speaker 3: Are you selling anything publicly, like eBay you want to
- 3:51Speaker 3: plug or anything?
- 3:52Speaker 2: No, not really. Okay. No, I don't sell publicly. I
- 3:55Speaker 2: pretty much just sell to friends and stuff like that.
- 3:57Speaker 2: Or if somebody comes to me and wants a specific
- 4:00Speaker 2: thing that I can do, then I'm like, yeah, sure, absolutely.
- 4:05Speaker 2: I'll just have them pay for the parts. Because I
- 4:08Speaker 2: enjoy putting that shit together.
- 4:09Speaker 4: I know a super... super attractive girl that really wants
- 4:14Speaker 4: to play this old DOS-based Roger Rabbit game.
- 4:20Speaker 3: What?
- 4:20Speaker 4: You might be able to help her. Because she has
- 4:24Speaker 4: a 3.5 floppy disk and has the disk unit, but
- 4:28Speaker 4: she's not smart enough to back-install or emulate that game.
- 4:33Speaker 4: But we take that offline, sir.
- 4:36Speaker 2: Give me five minutes. Oh, you said super attractive. Anyway....
- 4:44Speaker 1: Whoa, wow.
- 4:46Speaker 3: Spicy subby.
- 4:49Speaker 2: I'm in a mood today. I can't help it.
- 4:51Speaker 1: I'm a bitch. I'm just going to go ahead and
- 4:53Speaker 1: preemptively put the slaps at eight.
- 4:58Speaker 2: Yeah, no, that's fair. That's fair. You might add an
- 5:02Speaker 2: extra one. We could go to nine. It's fine.
- 5:04Speaker 4: No, look, you would like that. Let's just instead talk
- 5:07Speaker 4: about the episode. Maybe that feels good. Because this doesn't.
- 5:14Speaker 3: This episode, season four, episode nine, is called Scared Straight.
- 5:19Speaker 3: The original air date was December 10th, 1988. Directed by
- 5:23Speaker 3: Terry Hughes. Written by Christopher Lloyd. Not that Christopher Lloyd.
- 5:28Speaker 2: God damn it.
- 5:29Speaker 4: What do you guys think Scared.
- 5:31Speaker 2: One of these is going to be by the actual
- 5:34Speaker 2: Christopher Lloyd. And I will explode.
- 5:39Speaker 3: What do you think Scared Straight will be about?
- 5:41Speaker 2: You might be gay, Marty.
- 5:42Speaker 3: You gotta go back in time and fuck Biff.
- 5:51Speaker 2: You gotta get this story up to 88 miles an hour.
- 5:54Speaker 2: And then, well, stay away from your dad. That's a
- 5:58Speaker 2: little too much.
- 6:02Speaker 3: Alright, that's what he thinks it's about. Kristen?
- 6:06Speaker 4: Oh.
- 6:10Speaker 1: Dorothy.
- 6:11Speaker 2: There was so much lesbian talk in the last episode that.
- 6:14Speaker 4: I feel like.
- 6:15Speaker 3: That's true.
- 6:17Speaker 1: I'd say Dorothy hires a cop to scare the crap
- 6:21Speaker 1: out of one of her students so that he's better
- 6:23Speaker 1: behaved in class.
- 6:25Speaker 2: Okay.
- 6:27Speaker 3: This is another heavy topic, so sorry, Aaron. You lucked
- 6:33Speaker 3: out with a back-to-back.
- 6:36Speaker 2: If the script is better, I will be all about it.
- 6:38Speaker 4: All right.
- 6:39Speaker 3: We'll see if you like it. Who do you think
- 6:41Speaker 3: will be the hardest for Aaron to prove is the villain?
- 6:46Speaker 2: Um, if I am right, I feel like, I feel
- 6:52Speaker 2: like Dorothy would be the most sympathetic. Oh my God.
- 6:57Speaker 2: So I would say Dorothy, man.
- 6:59Speaker 3: I was waiting for it and he didn't do it.
- 7:02Speaker 1: He didn't. I know.
- 7:03Speaker 2: No, I didn't. I'm so sorry. I was like, uh,
- 7:07Speaker 2: I've been trying to catch you off guard.
- 7:08Speaker 4: Capitalism.
- 7:09Speaker 2: Ah, you got me. But, you know, yeah.
- 7:12Speaker 3: Do you agree, Kristen, with Dorothy? Yes.
- 7:15Speaker 2: I think that'll be a good one.
- 7:16Speaker 3: Miss Zbornak, please, is our answer.
- 7:20Speaker 4: Perfect. Locking it in. All right. Well, we've established our villain.
- 7:26Speaker 4: We've established what we think this is about. So now
- 7:30Speaker 4: all that's left is for us to have you guys
- 7:33Speaker 4: listen to these commercials. We're going to go away. We're
- 7:36Speaker 4: going to listen... And watch the show. Because we love
- 7:39Speaker 4: our commercials. That's why we also listen to them. But
- 7:43Speaker 4: we'll see you back here in a little bit.
- 7:45Speaker 3: Yeah, Abby, fire this episode up.
- 7:47Speaker 2: Hell yeah. Yeah, go ahead. Hey, man, it's me, Kevin Smith.
- 7:55Speaker 5: Everybody knows at the root of any good relationship, any
- 7:59Speaker 5: relationship worth anything, is the only thing that matters between
- 8:02Speaker 5: two people.
- 8:03Speaker 2: And I'm talking about television. That's right.
- 8:05Speaker 5: That's why you should listen to Married with Television, man,
- 8:08Speaker 5: which is a podcast by my friends Shannon and Jamie,
- 8:11Speaker 5: I call her cat ears, about movies and TV that
- 8:14Speaker 5: they have loved for decades, man. You listen at MarriedWithTV.com
- 8:19Speaker 5: or anywhere you get your podcasts. They are proud members
- 8:23Speaker 5: of the Odd Pods Media Network, man.
- 8:25Speaker 2: Married with Television.
- 8:27Speaker 1: Welcome back. Oh, sorry.
- 8:29Speaker 3: Kristen, never. Do it again.
- 8:32Speaker 4: Yeah. Welcome back.
- 8:34Speaker 3: Yay. Kristen talked.
- 8:41Speaker 2: I talk sometimes so.
- 8:44Speaker 3: Funny well aaron was telling us off air this was
- 8:48Speaker 3: a much better episode this week he liked it much.
- 8:50Speaker 2: More yeah no i absolutely loved this episode this was
- 8:55Speaker 2: this was fantastic it was a much better script i
- 8:59Speaker 2: it handled a heavy issue not as heavy-handed as the
- 9:03Speaker 2: last one did so many great lines. Like this is,
- 9:08Speaker 2: this has to be one of my favorite episodes of
- 9:10Speaker 2: the golden girls so far. Oh, nice. Yeah.
- 9:13Speaker 1: There's some good singers.
- 9:15Speaker 3: Rose had some great lines.
- 9:17Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 9:17Speaker 3: You had to be proud of your girl, Kristen.
- 9:19Speaker 2: Oh yeah.
- 9:20Speaker 4: Honestly, this is one of my shorter quizzes because I
- 9:24Speaker 4: was laughing so much.
- 9:26Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah.
- 9:27Speaker 2: Same.
- 9:28Speaker 3: Okay.
- 9:29Speaker 4: Great.
- 9:30Speaker 2: Well, I am ready.
- 9:32Speaker 3: Oh, I think Aaron's got to go back.
- 9:36Speaker 2: In the room.
- 9:37Speaker 4: Yeah, I think it.
- 9:38Speaker 2: We need a new room.
- 9:39Speaker 3: Oh, no, you're back in it.
- 9:40Speaker 4: No, it should reload now.
- 9:41Speaker 1: Everyone's here.
- 9:42Speaker 4: I just have to share it.
- 9:43Speaker 1: Oh, book subby left.
- 9:45Speaker 3: Oh, no. Does that mean we need a new code?
- 9:49Speaker 4: No, you should be able to put in the code again.
- 9:53Speaker 4: Do you mean to drop it in the chat? Or
- 9:56Speaker 4: is it still in there?
- 9:57Speaker 2: Can I rejoin? Yes.
- 9:58Speaker 1: Okay, yeah cool cool perfect.
- 10:02Speaker 2: All right ready here we go.
- 10:06Speaker 4: Let's do this you're.
- 10:07Speaker 2: Going down whoa oh yes she's sassy like rose i
- 10:13Speaker 2: i literally just want one can you let me have
- 10:15Speaker 2: one just.
- 10:16Speaker 3: One I don't know. You had to take one away
- 10:18Speaker 3: from her to feel good about yourself last week.
- 10:21Speaker 2: No, it wasn't to feel good about myself. It was
- 10:22Speaker 2: to make Kristen feel worse. Yeah.
- 10:26Speaker 1: That's the story of my life.
- 10:29Speaker 3: Wow.
- 10:30Speaker 1: Story of my life.
- 10:32Speaker 2: Oh, no. I would never do that to Kristen. Kristen.
- 10:39Speaker 2: I was just butthurt about my different strokes mistake.
- 10:42Speaker 1: I know.
- 10:42Speaker 4: It's an easy mistake to make. A group of young
- 10:50Speaker 4: children living together, going through different times versus a group
- 10:56Speaker 4: of young, diverse Black people living in a college setting.
- 11:01Speaker 3: I get it. Same thing. Same thing.
- 11:04Speaker 4: You know. Anyway, let's move along. All right. What is
- 11:09Speaker 4: Blanche's brother's name? Okay, book subby.
- 11:15Speaker 2: Clayton Hollingsworth.
- 11:18Speaker 1: All right.
- 11:19Speaker 4: Point Aaron. Yes.
- 11:21Speaker 3: Clayton.
- 11:23Speaker 2: I got my one.
- 11:24Speaker 1: Yay.
- 11:25Speaker 2: I'm going to do the breakfast club pose and just
- 11:26Speaker 2: hold it.
- 11:27Speaker 3: All right. Don't you forget about me for the rest.
- 11:30Speaker 1: Of the quiz.
- 11:31Speaker 4: Yeah, I was going to say, this is a shorter quiz.
- 11:33Speaker 3: His arm is going to get so tired.
- 11:35Speaker 4: Yeah, this is a shorter quiz, but I don't think
- 11:37Speaker 4: you should hold it because there are still 11 questions.
- 11:40Speaker 1: If she could pull it off, I'd be really happy.
- 11:43Speaker 3: Let's just watch.
- 11:44Speaker 4: Okay, well, let's try to get through the questions then.
- 11:47Speaker 2: All right.
- 11:48Speaker 4: How many days does Sophia say she has left to live?
- 11:51Speaker 4: I hope he doesn't have to sneeze.
- 11:55Speaker 1: Three.
- 11:58Speaker 4: Yes. Okay, point Kristen.
- 12:00Speaker 3: Does your nose itch, Erin?
- 12:02Speaker 2: I'm dead.
- 12:04Speaker 4: Okay.
- 12:04Speaker 1: Wow, this is hard.
- 12:06Speaker 4: All right, next question.
- 12:07Speaker 1: It keeps getting wider and wider.
- 12:09Speaker 4: It's weird because the breakfast conversation Club pose is jiggling now,
- 12:14Speaker 4: which is weird. All right. According to Dorothy, where does
- 12:18Speaker 4: Blanche keep her welcome mat?
- 12:21Speaker 2: Dang.
- 12:22Speaker 4: Kristen.
- 12:23Speaker 1: At the foot of her bed.
- 12:24Speaker 4: Nope.
- 12:25Speaker 3: Audience, he is still posing.
- 12:27Speaker 4: He is.
- 12:28Speaker 3: He is committed.
- 12:29Speaker 1: He's committed a bit.
- 12:30Speaker 4: I love it so much.
- 12:32Speaker 2: All right.
- 12:32Speaker 3: Just a little giggling, but still holding.
- 12:35Speaker 4: This next one is a no stump bonus. I'm going
- 12:38Speaker 4: to hit reset on our buzzers. And what did the
- 12:43Speaker 4: set used as the park that Rose and Clayton meet
- 12:46Speaker 4: in double as when Charlie's friend came to visit? Kristen.
- 12:54Speaker 1: The zoo?
- 12:56Speaker 4: Yeah, there were flamingos in those planters.
- 12:58Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 13:00Speaker 4: All right.
- 13:00Speaker 3: Do you want to play anymore, Erin?
- 13:04Speaker 2: What?
- 13:04Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm great.
- 13:05Speaker 3: No, Erin.
- 13:06Speaker 1: He's still celebrating that one point.
- 13:10Speaker 3: I think there's a bug on your eyelash.
- 13:12Speaker 4: Yeah, like, are you okay?
- 13:14Speaker 3: He's holding it.
- 13:15Speaker 1: All right.
- 13:19Speaker 4: Next up. See, this is so that he can be like, well,
- 13:21Speaker 4: I couldn't play.
- 13:23Speaker 1: I got a picture of it.
- 13:24Speaker 5: Yeah, please.
- 13:24Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 13:25Speaker 4: Great.
- 13:25Speaker 3: All right.
- 13:27Speaker 1: I reset.
- 13:27Speaker 3: They can't appreciate this.
- 13:29Speaker 1: Yeah, they need to see this.
- 13:32Speaker 4: Whose nephew wore paisley clogs and gave out puff pastry
- 13:36Speaker 4: on Halloween? Kristen.
- 13:42Speaker 1: Olga Larson.
- 13:44Speaker 2: Yep.
- 13:45Speaker 4: All right. I'd ask you to give out the score,
- 13:48Speaker 4: but based on the score, people might think that Gina's
- 13:51Speaker 4: the one holding the Breakfast Club pose. Oh.
- 13:58Speaker 1: Do you want the scores?
- 13:59Speaker 3: No, it's fine.
- 14:00Speaker 4: Oh, yeah, sure. Okay.
- 14:02Speaker 1: Erin and Gina have zero.
- 14:04Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 14:06Speaker 1: Book Subby has one, and he's still celebrating. And I
- 14:10Speaker 1: have four.
- 14:10Speaker 3: Is that arm tired yet? He kind of nodded. All right.
- 14:19Speaker 1: Well, we're going to keep going.
- 14:20Speaker 4: He's committed to the bit.
- 14:22Speaker 2: He's committed. I'm impressed.
- 14:24Speaker 4: What famous actor's poster does Clayton say he stole from
- 14:28Speaker 4: Blanche's wall when she went off to college? Dang it. Oh,
- 14:32Speaker 4: I was close that time. But Kristen, you're still first.
- 14:35Speaker 1: Montgomery Clift.
- 14:36Speaker 4: Yes. Buzzard.
- 14:38Speaker 3: He's on point.
- 14:41Speaker 1: Fast fingers.
- 14:43Speaker 4: Are you both using the space bar? Is that why?
- 14:45Speaker 3: I am.
- 14:45Speaker 4: Oh, okay.
- 14:46Speaker 1: All right.
- 14:48Speaker 3: Aaron can't. His hands are nowhere near the keyboard.
- 14:51Speaker 4: At this point, no one but Kristen can win. But
- 14:56Speaker 4: we'll continue. Just for fun.
- 14:59Speaker 3: Just for funsies. I don't want to have zero.
- 15:02Speaker 4: What does Clayton say happen when he finished talking to Rose?
- 15:07Speaker 2: Gina.
- 15:08Speaker 3: He slept with her.
- 15:09Speaker 4: Yep.
- 15:11Speaker 3: You let me have that one.
- 15:13Speaker 4: I think she might have. I'm not sure.
- 15:15Speaker 3: Look at her face.
- 15:16Speaker 1: She totally did.
- 15:16Speaker 4: All right.
- 15:19Speaker 3: Oh, Aaron's eyes opened. We have a change.
- 15:21Speaker 4: We know Miami is cuter than an inner uterine. But
- 15:26Speaker 4: what is Clayton gayer than?
- 15:30Speaker 3: Oh, he got so close.
- 15:32Speaker 2: Oh, my arm is killing me.
- 15:35Speaker 4: And while you guys were all looking at Aaron, Gina
- 15:38Speaker 4: snuck in and buzzed.
- 15:40Speaker 3: Gayer than a picnic basket.
- 15:41Speaker 4: Yeah. All right.
- 15:45Speaker 3: I applaud you. That was pretty good, Aaron.
- 15:46Speaker 2: Bravo! I thought I could hold it the whole way.
- 15:51Speaker 4: You were so close.
- 15:52Speaker 2: My arm was burning. I was like, oh, fuck. I
- 15:55Speaker 2: can't hold it.
- 15:56Speaker 4: Truth be told, you made it. You got three questions
- 16:00Speaker 4: from the end on that.
- 16:01Speaker 3: You went real far.
- 16:02Speaker 4: That was impressive.
- 16:03Speaker 2: I'll take it.
- 16:04Speaker 4: Great, great.
- 16:06Speaker 2: One of the dumbest things I've done in service of
- 16:08Speaker 2: a bit. But I'll take it.
- 16:10Speaker 3: Don't worry. You're young still.
- 16:12Speaker 4: Yeah, there'll be others.
- 16:15Speaker 3: Go ahead, Miss Scabaretti.
- 16:18Speaker 4: What do the waiters have to wear at Jose's? Gina.
- 16:26Speaker 3: Skin-tight bullfighter pants.
- 16:28Speaker 4: Yep. Okay. Okay.
- 16:33Speaker 3: This picture looks like Aaron's punching me in the face
- 16:35Speaker 3: because my face is leaned down.
- 16:38Speaker 2: All right.
- 16:43Speaker 4: Who is at the door for Sophia? Kristen.
- 16:50Speaker 1: Mildred.
- 16:51Speaker 2: Yes.
- 16:54Speaker 1: All right.
- 16:56Speaker 3: Mildred has some fucking weird logic.
- 17:00Speaker 1: She may be the villain. I went to your window.
- 17:04Speaker 3: I knew you were napping, so I yelled at your window.
- 17:06Speaker 3: Who the fuck?
- 17:07Speaker 1: What?
- 17:08Speaker 3: Leave a message with another roommate.
- 17:10Speaker 4: Or call the house and someone will write it down.
- 17:13Speaker 1: Leave a note on the door.
- 17:15Speaker 3: What the hell's wrong with you, Mildred? You gave this
- 17:19Speaker 3: woman a complex. Villain.
- 17:24Speaker 4: Last question. Not that it matters. Blanche is struggling to
- 17:28Speaker 4: say I'm sorry, but what two little rows. Oh, my God.
- 17:32Speaker 4: I'm sorry. Guys, let me try that again. Blanche is
- 17:35Speaker 4: struggling to say I'm sorry, but what two little words
- 17:38Speaker 4: does Rose say are hard for Blanche to say? Dang. Kristen.
- 17:44Speaker 1: Not tonight.
- 17:46Speaker 2: All right.
- 17:48Speaker 4: That was the last question on this one. This one,
- 17:50Speaker 4: I was honestly just enjoying their little sassy banter. And
- 17:53Speaker 4: so I didn't write as many questions as I normally would.
- 17:56Speaker 3: It was a great episode.
- 17:57Speaker 1: It was a good episode.
- 17:59Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 17:59Speaker 4: I know you won, but can you give us the
- 18:01Speaker 4: final score?
- 18:02Speaker 1: Absolutely.
- 18:02Speaker 4: Erin has zero points.
- 18:05Speaker 2: Cool.
- 18:08Speaker 1: Booksebi has one. He got his one point.
- 18:11Speaker 2: Oh, yeah.
- 18:12Speaker 1: Gina got three. And I won with seven.
- 18:15Speaker 3: Fuck off.
- 18:16Speaker 4: I mean, good job you did that.
- 18:20Speaker 3: This bus is in so fast.
- 18:25Speaker 1: I'm going to say it's because I did sign language,
- 18:27Speaker 1: so my fingers are fast.
- 18:30Speaker 3: Could be.
- 18:31Speaker 4: That's an option, I guess. Alright.
- 18:37Speaker 3: Your finger blasted a lot of people in high school.
- 18:39Speaker 2: My arm still hurts.
- 18:42Speaker 4: Do you have some trivia for us, perhaps?
- 18:44Speaker 2: Yes.
- 18:44Speaker 3: Think of how muscly you'll be, book subbing. Yeah. So,
- 18:49Speaker 3: Monty Markham was Clayton Hollinsworth. He was on Baywatch, which
- 18:53Speaker 3: I never watched.
- 18:54Speaker 2: He's done a ton of stuff. I recognized him almost immediately.
- 18:58Speaker 3: Where'd you know him from?
- 18:59Speaker 2: I think he's... I recognized his face immediately, and I'm like,
- 19:07Speaker 2: I've seen him in other things, but I can't... He's probably.
- 19:11Speaker 1: One of those guys that's done like one episode of
- 19:13Speaker 1: like everything during that time. Yeah.
- 19:17Speaker 3: Gwen Davis was Mildred. She was in Blank Man. Nancy
- 19:21Speaker 3: Peretti was Lois. She was Christina Applegate's mom in Bad Moms.
- 19:27Speaker 3: Sharon Howard was a woman. She was in one episode
- 19:30Speaker 3: of Mr.
- 19:31Speaker 2: Belvedere.
- 19:32Speaker 3: Daryl Ferreira was the man. One episode of Magnum P.I.
- 19:36Speaker 3: Stephen M. Porter was the waiter. He was in Heart
- 19:39Speaker 3: of Dixie. They say Clayton is 45 years old. Monty
- 19:44Speaker 3: Markham here in real life was 53, so not terribly
- 19:49Speaker 3: far off. If you notice, the front door has a
- 19:51Speaker 3: peephole in this episode because they needed it.
- 19:55Speaker 1: Yeah, they don't always have a peephole.
- 19:58Speaker 3: References we made. Rich Little, comedian and impressionist. Barbara Eden,
- 20:02Speaker 3: you may know her as I Dream of Jeannie. Magic Johnson,
- 20:07Speaker 3: NBA star.
- 20:08Speaker 4: Who has the same birthday as me.
- 20:10Speaker 2: Really?
- 20:11Speaker 4: Well, I guess I have the same birthday as him.
- 20:12Speaker 2: Oh.
- 20:13Speaker 4: Happy birthday yesterday, Magic. Or like a month and some
- 20:17Speaker 4: days ago.
- 20:18Speaker 3: Montgomery Clift was an American actor in From Here to Eternity,
- 20:22Speaker 3: among other things. And they mentioned Ted Turner, who started
- 20:25Speaker 3: colorizing movies, unfortunately. I don't know why he thought that
- 20:28Speaker 3: was good.
- 20:29Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 20:30Speaker 3: That's all I got. Unless anybody else had anything they noticed.
- 20:36Speaker 4: No, but I did forget to say something about the
- 20:38Speaker 4: last week's episode. So I did want to just in like,
- 20:42Speaker 4: I guess, like a corrections corner or something. I wanted
- 20:44Speaker 4: to just as a call out because we shit on
- 20:47Speaker 4: this a lot in our other show, Gina, which is
- 20:49Speaker 4: the show Get Along Gang. And in that montage, the
- 20:54Speaker 4: sad montage in the brother, can you spare a dime
- 20:58Speaker 4: in the homeless shelter? There's a lady that's holding the
- 21:02Speaker 4: Montgomery Moose plush toy from that show.
- 21:05Speaker 2: Oh, shit.
- 21:06Speaker 4: While she's sleeping. And I forgot to mention that last week.
- 21:10Speaker 4: That's crazy. Yeah. I was like, oh, fuck. That's Get
- 21:13Speaker 4: Along Gang's moose in that lady's arms. The sweet little
- 21:17Speaker 4: old lady had like a plush moose doll.
- 21:18Speaker 2: Good spotting.
- 21:19Speaker 3: That's great.
- 21:20Speaker 4: Yeah. Well, you don't see a lot of.
- 21:24Speaker 3: I don't know how big the merch was.
- 21:25Speaker 4: Moose dolls in like blue sweatshirts that look like a
- 21:28Speaker 4: football jersey. So.
- 21:32Speaker 3: Who's our villain? Dorothy?
- 21:34Speaker 2: Dorothy.
- 21:35Speaker 3: Is that right?
- 21:35Speaker 4: Does Aaron know he's talking to us?
- 21:38Speaker 2: Oh.
- 21:39Speaker 4: Sorry.
- 21:39Speaker 2: My mic was muted. I realized where I know him from. Yes.
- 21:45Speaker 2: He did a 2012 episode of Leverage. It's one of
- 21:48Speaker 2: my favorite ones. It's called The Rundown Job. He's the
- 21:51Speaker 2: bad guy. Oh, cool.
- 21:54Speaker 3: Did he have that southern accent or was that?
- 21:57Speaker 4: No.
- 21:57Speaker 3: No.
- 21:58Speaker 2: He plays an entirely different character in this.
- 22:03Speaker 3: I imagine that's not his real voice. That accent seemed
- 22:05Speaker 3: put on. All right there, Missy, take it away. Whenever
- 22:12Speaker 3: you're ready.
- 22:13Speaker 4: Yeah, so Dorothy was my villain, right? So I think
- 22:17Speaker 4: this was another one of those ones that's like a
- 22:19Speaker 4: little hard. You guys did too good of a job.
- 22:21Speaker 4: But I think like in general, she does try to
- 22:25Speaker 4: minimize like her mom's Like, whenever Sophia thinks she's going
- 22:29Speaker 4: to die or something's about to happen to her, right,
- 22:31Speaker 4: Dorothy's always like, shut up, you're fine. And I do
- 22:34Speaker 4: think that that's a little villainous because obviously, like, Sophia
- 22:39Speaker 4: has a feeling of what's going on. Now, in this case,
- 22:41Speaker 4: Sophia was fucking wrong. It was just that her friend
- 22:44Speaker 4: was an idiot screaming through the window. And I do
- 22:46Speaker 4: think Gina's right. The real villain of the episode is Mildred.
- 22:50Speaker 1: But.
- 22:51Speaker 3: Fuck you, Mildred.
- 22:53Speaker 4: I do think that at times Dorothy's character is written
- 22:57Speaker 4: to comedically be dismissive of her mother. But I think
- 23:01Speaker 4: in actuality, if a real person had been as dismissive
- 23:04Speaker 4: as she was to this, that she just had a
- 23:06Speaker 4: feeling like she could have handled that better. So I
- 23:10Speaker 4: think that makes her like the mini villain in this
- 23:13Speaker 4: is that she was just kind of like, shut the
- 23:15Speaker 4: fuck up, mom. You're fine.
- 23:17Speaker 1: Even when Sophia was trying to listen to what Rose
- 23:20Speaker 1: was whispering, she was shoving her away.
- 23:22Speaker 4: That's not a great look either.
- 23:25Speaker 3: I think with Dorothy, it's denial. Because she's like, no, no, no.
- 23:30Speaker 3: And then the doorbell rings and she's like, oh my god!
- 23:32Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 23:36Speaker 4: Something we forgot to talk about, we talked about talking
- 23:39Speaker 4: about too, and it's not on the villain theme, but
- 23:44Speaker 4: my Grandmother on my dad's side was named Dorothy. Right.
- 23:47Speaker 4: You ladies just discovered that when I was telling the
- 23:50Speaker 4: story about her yesterday.
- 23:51Speaker 3: Mark Dorothy has a relative named Dorothy.
- 23:54Speaker 4: I do. I do.
- 23:54Speaker 3: Dorothy Mae Rudolph.
- 23:55Speaker 4: Which I thought was pretty crazy. Later Dorothy Scabaretti, huh?
- 23:59Speaker 3: And it's like, how is it season four and I'm
- 24:02Speaker 3: just finding this out?
- 24:03Speaker 4: Well, and she wasn't Italian, but she was married to
- 24:07Speaker 4: an Italian because I'm a Scabaretti. So it is kind
- 24:10Speaker 4: of a.
- 24:10Speaker 3: There you go.
- 24:11Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 24:12Speaker 3: You are a golden girl through and through.
- 24:13Speaker 4: Yeah. And truthfully, Spornak is probably like Polish or Czechoslovakian
- 24:18Speaker 4: and I am Czechoslovakian. I'm 50% Czech. So realistically, I
- 24:23Speaker 4: am the living reincarnate.
- 24:26Speaker 3: Only you're from Brooklyn.
- 24:28Speaker 4: Of Dorothy, yeah.
- 24:30Speaker 3: And like six feet tall.
- 24:32Speaker 4: Well, yeah, I don't quite have the height. There was
- 24:35Speaker 4: a lady on my... flight from tucson uh yesterday that
- 24:39Speaker 4: was very very tall she had on sandals and she
- 24:42Speaker 4: had the general gray uh haircut style that b arthur
- 24:48Speaker 4: had she didn't look anything like her but she was
- 24:50Speaker 4: tall thin yeah and i was like that's wild this
- 24:53Speaker 4: is the like closest visual representation i've seen of someone
- 24:58Speaker 4: that could like cosplay dorothy It was just like a
- 25:01Speaker 4: random lady from Tucson getting on the plane.
- 25:03Speaker 1: I'm surprised you didn't ask her to be on our podcast.
- 25:07Speaker 3: Madam, do you have a microphone at home?
- 25:11Speaker 1: Can I have a moment of your time?
- 25:13Speaker 4: It's always like 85 to 90 degrees in that airport
- 25:16Speaker 4: because for some reason they can't cool it down with
- 25:19Speaker 4: all the doors open all the time.
- 25:21Speaker 3: It's a thousand degrees outside. That AC is working hard.
- 25:27Speaker 3: She was probably melting.
- 25:29Speaker 4: Well, so anybody have anything else to share? Or maybe, Aaron,
- 25:34Speaker 4: you want to tell people where they might be able
- 25:36Speaker 4: to find you in the world?
- 25:41Speaker 2: Any donut shop, really.
- 25:43Speaker 4: Is it me? Do they have Nella Nella Donuts?
- 25:48Speaker 2: I don't know. But what they don't have are books.
- 25:50Speaker 2: And if you like books, you can go to any bookstore, Amazon,
- 25:55Speaker 2: Barnes & Noble. And you can find Thane, T-H-A-N-E, or
- 26:00Speaker 2: Rekha and the Inevitability of Life. Either of those are
- 26:04Speaker 2: my books, and I love people who support me and
- 26:06Speaker 2: my books. So thank you. If you do check them out,
- 26:11Speaker 2: and if they're your bag, that's awesome. If you want
- 26:13Speaker 2: to talk to me about them, holy shit, I will
- 26:15Speaker 2: talk your ear off. That's where you can find me.
- 26:18Speaker 2: I'm also on another podcast called BFYTW, which we've done
- 26:21Speaker 2: for seven years coming on.
- 26:24Speaker 4: Oh, wow.
- 26:25Speaker 2: Yeah, over 300 episodes, still going strong.
- 26:29Speaker 4: Yay.
- 26:31Speaker 2: Hell yeah.
- 26:32Speaker 3: I just listened to the last, I know it was
- 26:33Speaker 3: a little while ago, but the last Beefy Uppity, and
- 26:35Speaker 3: I was loving that.
- 26:36Speaker 2: That was good. Yeah, we had a lot of fun.
- 26:40Speaker 2: I love doing Beefy Uppity.
- 26:42Speaker 3: Smokey was kicking butt.
- 26:44Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 26:45Speaker 3: No spoilers.
- 26:47Speaker 1: And then if you'd like to reach us, you can
- 26:49Speaker 1: find us across all socials at OnTheLiniPod. And you can
- 26:54Speaker 1: also email us at onlonipod at gmail.com.

- 27:02Speaker 2: Yes, Abby.
- 27:03Speaker 4: This is me. Our cheesecake is ready. Awesome.
- 27:07Speaker 1: Let's go eat some cheesecake, guys.
- 27:09Speaker 2: Let's go.
- 27:10Speaker 3: Abby was nice enough to get it for us.
- 27:12Speaker 4: Okay, we'll see you guys later. Bye.
- 27:13Speaker 1: Bye.
