- 0:00Speaker 1: Yeah, this is Mark Simon Show on seven.
- 0:05Speaker 2: Ow.
- 0:10Speaker 3: Hey it's Wednesday. It's two days until spring begins. Yeah,
- 0:15Speaker 3: two days away. Hey, we got a lot to get to.
- 0:18Speaker 3: We'll get to this. We'll get to this Joe Can't,
- 0:20Speaker 3: who quit and what his future is. We'll get to
- 0:23Speaker 3: the oscars. The ratings are down. Take a look at why.
- 0:26Speaker 3: We'll get to a crazy uh Moron Zamdami mo Zoran
- 0:32Speaker 3: mam dami. Uh. He's offended a lot of people yesterday
- 0:35Speaker 3: with his crazy rant at the Saint Patrick's Day breakfast.
- 0:40Speaker 3: We'll get to the Guthrie case. Some developments there no
- 0:44Speaker 3: nothing about finding her, but some other things. We'll get
- 0:47Speaker 3: to the ran of course, and a whole lot more so.
- 0:51Speaker 3: Mark Wayne Mullen is being confirmed today. The hearings are today.
- 0:56Speaker 3: He's been nominated to replace Tulsey Gabbard. Now they'll bloody
- 1:00Speaker 3: him up a little in these hearings, because that's what
- 1:02Speaker 3: you do in a hearing. They'll ask him how he
- 1:05Speaker 3: made how he became so wealthy while in office. Well,
- 1:08Speaker 3: that's every one of them sitting there. They'll pick on
- 1:11Speaker 3: some other things, but he'll get confirmed. He's a senator.
- 1:14Speaker 3: One reason he was appointed is the way things are
- 1:18Speaker 3: right now, that these Senate committees will not confirm any
- 1:21Speaker 3: Trump nominee, So you got to pick a senator because
- 1:24Speaker 3: he's one of them. They won't turn down one of
- 1:26Speaker 3: their own, though, they'll confirm one of their own. And
- 1:29Speaker 3: Mark Wayne Mullen has been very good at making friends
- 1:33Speaker 3: in the House, in the Senate, He's been known for that,
- 1:36Speaker 3: having lunch with people on both sides of the aisle,
- 1:38Speaker 3: going to the gym with people on both sides of
- 1:40Speaker 3: the aisle. So it'll drag on for a while, but
- 1:43Speaker 3: they will confirm him later today. The Warren I ran
- 1:46Speaker 3: some good developments overnight. We killed Asmiel Katib, Actually Israel
- 1:53Speaker 3: did it. He was the Iran Minister of Intelligence, but
- 1:57Speaker 3: he's believed to be the actual guy who oversees Rand's
- 2:01Speaker 3: entire global terror apparatus, sleeper cells, hesbola hoodies, all that
- 2:08Speaker 3: sort of stuff. We killed him last night in a
- 2:11Speaker 3: bombing raid. He's gone. Two people were killed in a
- 2:15Speaker 3: missile strike on ramat Gan. It's near Tel Aviv. That's
- 2:20Speaker 3: in Israel retaliation. Now here's the other thing. We've been escalating.
- 2:27Speaker 3: The bombing. You don't hear as much about it. But
- 2:30Speaker 3: it's actually been much more intense. In fact, yesterday we
- 2:33Speaker 3: started dropping five thousand pound penetrator bombs, bunker buster bombs
- 2:39Speaker 3: that go deep underground. We've been using them to take
- 2:42Speaker 3: out mountains, take out underground missile sites that are way underground,
- 2:46Speaker 3: especially along the coast. Those are the ones that particularly
- 2:50Speaker 3: threatened the straits of Hormusa. We took a bunch of
- 2:52Speaker 3: those out last night. All good developments, a lot of
- 2:55Speaker 3: good stuff happened in there. Allies still refused to come
- 2:58Speaker 3: in and help. Off the record, any general will tell
- 3:02Speaker 3: you as far as the Allies coming in, there's absolutely
- 3:06Speaker 3: no military value to them coming up. There's nothing militarily
- 3:10Speaker 3: we could use for any of them. The only reason
- 3:12Speaker 3: to get them to come in is just for the optics,
- 3:15Speaker 3: just symbolically. It looks good to have a coalition, so
- 3:17Speaker 3: we don't need them militarily for anything. In fact, they
- 3:21Speaker 3: might actually slow things down sometimes when you put together
- 3:23Speaker 3: these coalitions. It happened in Iraq. It sometimes slows things down,
- 3:28Speaker 3: lack of communication between different countries' forces getting in the
- 3:33Speaker 3: way of each other. So military wise better without the Allies.
- 3:38Speaker 3: It was just a symbolic thing, so we'll see. The
- 3:41Speaker 3: president was asked, is this going to be another Vietnam?
- 3:45Speaker 3: Ridiculous question, of course.
- 3:46Speaker 4: Because the Uranian regime is filled sky news.
- 3:49Speaker 3: If you put boots on the grounds in round, it
- 3:51Speaker 3: will be another Vietnam. Are you afraid of them?
- 3:54Speaker 5: No, I'm not afraid of I'm really not afraid of anything.
- 3:57Speaker 3: It's a day fourteen or it's two weeks. I'd hardly
- 4:00Speaker 3: call that another Vietnam, which was twelve years. Two weeks
- 4:05Speaker 3: is not twelve years. Big difference. And boots on the
- 4:08Speaker 3: ground the only boots on the ground. They do have
- 4:10Speaker 3: marine strike forces that have come in, twenty five hundred
- 4:13Speaker 3: of them. There may be an occasion where they need
- 4:16Speaker 3: to go ashore from an amphibious crap. Just go ashore,
- 4:21Speaker 3: quick raid, literally twenty minutes in and out. That's the
- 4:25Speaker 3: only kind of boots on the ground you'll see. So
- 4:29Speaker 3: things are going well. We did kill two days ago
- 4:34Speaker 3: the leader of the country after the Ayahtola, and he
- 4:37Speaker 3: supposedly appointed his son to be the new Ayahtola, but
- 4:40Speaker 3: that never actually took place. The real leader has been
- 4:44Speaker 3: Ali Larjani. He was killed earlier this week and people
- 4:49Speaker 3: were stunned at as arrogance. He was the new leader.
- 4:52Speaker 3: We knew he was the new leader, and he's one
- 4:54Speaker 3: of the most brutal, awful terrorist leaders of the whole
- 4:59Speaker 3: Iranian government. But he took over. He was the leader,
- 5:02Speaker 3: and he had the arrogance to just walk down the
- 5:04Speaker 3: street by himself, out in the open.
- 5:06Speaker 6: There.
- 5:06Speaker 3: He was walking along the street when an Israeli bomb
- 5:10Speaker 3: hit him right on the head and blew him into
- 5:11Speaker 3: a million pieces. So he's gone. That's the end of that.
- 5:16Speaker 3: It's just getting better and better over there. Now, you
- 5:19Speaker 3: heard about this guy in the Trump administration who quit.
- 5:23Speaker 3: His name is Joe Kent. Joe Kent was the National
- 5:28Speaker 3: counter Terrorism Center Director. Now this sounds very imposing, this title,
- 5:32Speaker 3: but this is what they do in the swamp. They
- 5:34Speaker 3: come up with these titles. Joe Kent has been a
- 5:38Speaker 3: big Trump supporter. He's been a big supporter of going
- 5:42Speaker 3: after Iran, of taking out Iran. He has said this
- 5:46Speaker 3: for years. He has been saying for years that Iran
- 5:50Speaker 3: is a major threat, the biggest sponsor of terrorism. He's
- 5:54Speaker 3: pushed going after Iran for years. So he suddenly quit
- 5:57Speaker 3: saying it was wrong to go after Iran. Why the
- 6:01Speaker 3: contradictory stuff. Who knows, who knows what goes through his head.
- 6:05Speaker 3: He's got a history of just being wrong on everything.
- 6:09Speaker 3: He's also got a history of appearing to be very
- 6:12Speaker 3: antisemitic anti Israel. I think that's the thing here in this.
- 6:17Speaker 3: He always wanted to go after I Ran and get
- 6:19Speaker 3: rid of them. But in this case it's Israel really
- 6:21Speaker 3: leading the charge, Israel doing eighty percent of the military work,
- 6:26Speaker 3: Israel being the biggest beneficiary of all of this. I
- 6:28Speaker 3: think that's what really offended Joe Kent. He's always blaming
- 6:32Speaker 3: Israel for everything. You remember the Gulf War, not the
- 6:35Speaker 3: Iraq War, the Gulf War. I remember when we had
- 6:38Speaker 3: to liberate Kuwait from Sodom Hussein. That was the George
- 6:42Speaker 3: hw Bush War. In the Gulf War, this same Joe
- 6:45Speaker 3: Kent kept yelling and screaming we were only doing this
- 6:47Speaker 3: because of Israel. This was Israel that made us do it. Well,
- 6:52Speaker 3: if you just check the record book back in the
- 6:54Speaker 3: Gulf War, Israel totally opposed the Gulf War. Israel begged
- 6:57Speaker 3: us not to do it. Israel at the time thought
- 7:00Speaker 3: it was more important to go after Iran. Israel thought
- 7:02Speaker 3: we were fighting the wrong fight. So Joe Kent has
- 7:04Speaker 3: a history of contradictory stuff, history of anti Semitic kind
- 7:10Speaker 3: of nonsense. He's a great military veteran eleven combat tours,
- 7:17Speaker 3: and people that know him and know his history say
- 7:19Speaker 3: it was very, very sad to watch him end his
- 7:22Speaker 3: career in this anti Semitic rant that he put out yesterday,
- 7:26Speaker 3: leaving even Mitch McConnell, who's no fan of Donald Trump,
- 7:30Speaker 3: issued a scathing statement saying about Kent virulent anti semitism.
- 7:39Speaker 3: Mitch McConnell pointing out Joe Can't testified before the Senate
- 7:42Speaker 3: one year ago that Iran and its terror proxy's threatened
- 7:46Speaker 3: US service members. It was the biggest threat he testified
- 7:49Speaker 3: about the threat. McConnell goes on to say the virulent
- 7:53Speaker 3: anti semitism of his resignation letter makes it clear he's
- 7:58Speaker 3: just incapable of upholding these plays. Just it's his charges
- 8:01Speaker 3: are baseless, incendiary, and McConnell went on to remember this
- 8:06Speaker 3: is a real swamp guy, McConnell. Isolationists and anti Semites
- 8:09Speaker 3: have no place in either party and do not deserve
- 8:13Speaker 3: places of trust in our government. So he's gone now.
- 8:16Speaker 3: He's a very good looking guy, although kind of a
- 8:20Speaker 3: I don't know, kind of a mannequin looking guy, but
- 8:24Speaker 3: good talker, good looking. I assume the reason he's doing
- 8:26Speaker 3: all this is he wants a TV job. He wants
- 8:28Speaker 3: to be on CNN or MSNBC, and if you're suddenly
- 8:34Speaker 3: attacking Trump like crazy, you instantly get on there. He'll
- 8:38Speaker 3: be on every show in the world for the next
- 8:39Speaker 3: few days. He'll be on Morning Joe and The View,
- 8:42Speaker 3: and Jimmy Kimmel and Colbert. He'll be on all these shows.
- 8:46Speaker 3: And I guess he hopes to get a TV job
- 8:47Speaker 3: out of it. And you can make a lot of
- 8:50Speaker 3: money doing that. It's pretty good. Hey, the oscars, Now,
- 8:54Speaker 3: everybody's trying to figure this out. You know, they got
- 8:56Speaker 3: these betting markets, polymarket, those kind of stuff, these prediction markets.
- 9:00Speaker 3: It's all amateur's betting, and they bet on everything. They
- 9:03Speaker 3: bet on politics, they bet on the oscars. Everybody is
- 9:07Speaker 3: looking at this. It seems in the betting markets they
- 9:10Speaker 3: got right every single category, every single win, everything, They
- 9:14Speaker 3: predicted everything correctly. Now, not in the week's leading up,
- 9:18Speaker 3: but at the last couple days, the betting got absolutely
- 9:22Speaker 3: everything right. Now that never happened, so they're worried there
- 9:27Speaker 3: might might have been some kind of leak. You know,
- 9:29Speaker 3: those votes are tabulated by an accounting firm and they
- 9:32Speaker 3: usually come in the locked briefcase with the guy's handcuffed
- 9:35Speaker 3: to it. But starting to worry somebody leaked something at
- 9:39Speaker 3: how else could these betting markets be so accurate? Hey,
- 9:44Speaker 3: the Savannah Guthrie case, you don't hear about it anymore.
- 9:48Speaker 3: The Nancy Guthrie case, you just don't hear about it.
- 9:50Speaker 3: Nothing on the news, hardly anything for days and days.
- 9:55Speaker 3: And people have noticed that the top reporters covering this
- 10:00Speaker 3: porter so this was their full time beat covering this,
- 10:02Speaker 3: this is the case. They've all left town. The last
- 10:05Speaker 3: one left yesterday. It packed up and left. Not a
- 10:10Speaker 3: great sign for the now there's still a federal agents
- 10:14Speaker 3: there looking as far as the sheriff's office, they've been
- 10:17Speaker 3: bumbling from the beginning. Who knows what they're doing. In fact,
- 10:20Speaker 3: there's now the sheriff Nanos, who is the bumbling Barney
- 10:24Speaker 3: fifish awful local sheriff first on the case. There's now
- 10:29Speaker 3: a recall movement underway that's already started. Petitions are being
- 10:33Speaker 3: signed to recall him and get him out of office. It
- 10:36Speaker 3: would actually be a great idea to do it. Hey,
- 10:39Speaker 3: Speaking of the OSCARS, ratings were not good. They haven't
- 10:45Speaker 3: been good in a while. You know, if you go
- 10:47Speaker 3: back twenty five years, the OSCARS got about fifty seven
- 10:51Speaker 3: fifty eight sixty million people watching Sunday night. It wasn't
- 10:57Speaker 3: fifty seven million, it was eighteen million. It's way down,
- 11:00Speaker 3: and it had been twenty million the year before. The
- 11:02Speaker 3: twenty one million, but it was down nine percent, nine
- 11:07Speaker 3: percent from last year.
- 11:08Speaker 6: Now.
- 11:08Speaker 3: I don't know what this does to Conan O'Brien. They
- 11:10Speaker 3: were pretty high on him, but it dropped nine percent
- 11:14Speaker 3: this year. It may not be his fault. The problem
- 11:17Speaker 3: is two problems. One, nobody wants to watch these award
- 11:20Speaker 3: shows anymore. Nobody wants to watch award shows, and the
- 11:24Speaker 3: way people watch stuff has changed. Nobody watches an award
- 11:30Speaker 3: show for three hours. They're not going to sit there
- 11:31Speaker 3: for three hours watching one award show. They'll binge watch
- 11:34Speaker 3: eighteen hours of a series, but they're not going to
- 11:38Speaker 3: watch an award show for three hours. So even though
- 11:41Speaker 3: only only eighteen million watching on television, one hundred and
- 11:46Speaker 3: eighty four million went to their phones or online and
- 11:50Speaker 3: watched little bites of it, which is what I did.
- 11:53Speaker 3: I didn't watch the actual show, but later later, I
- 11:57Speaker 3: just went to YouTube, watched the opening monologue, watched a
- 12:01Speaker 3: couple of the awards, watched the little Barbara streisand segment.
- 12:04Speaker 3: Just that, and that's what most people did. Only eighteen
- 12:07Speaker 3: million watched the show. One hundred and eighty four million
- 12:11Speaker 3: watched the clips, which is up, by the way, up
- 12:14Speaker 3: forty two from last year. So it's just the way
- 12:19Speaker 3: people do stuff now. They're not going to sit there.
- 12:21Speaker 3: Sometimes people do that, even with sports, you know, they
- 12:24Speaker 3: don't watch the whole game. They just look at their
- 12:27Speaker 3: phone every so often and look at the highlights every
- 12:29Speaker 3: so often. Well, Saint Patrick's Day is over. We love
- 12:34Speaker 3: the Irish people, we love the parade, but you got
- 12:38Speaker 3: to get better food. I went to these Saint Patrick's
- 12:40Speaker 3: Day parties. All right, I'm not that big a fan
- 12:43Speaker 3: of corn, beef and soda bread. It's enough with that.
- 12:47Speaker 3: And the music musically, I mean, can we get some guitars,
- 12:52Speaker 3: some trumpets, some trombone, some something, But those bagpipes, I
- 12:57Speaker 3: guess it's okay for a parade, I mean, for a
- 12:59Speaker 3: parade it's kind of marching music. But you notice if
- 13:03Speaker 3: you watch college football, then when the halftime, when the
- 13:05Speaker 3: band comes out, there's no bill need any bagpipes. You
- 13:08Speaker 3: go to Carnegie Hall, you don't see any bagpipe ride.
- 13:10Speaker 3: It's once a year. It was a pretty good parade.
- 13:12Speaker 3: It was actually not bad yesterday. Hey, you know, we
- 13:16Speaker 3: will get to the Department of Homeland Security shutdown. This
- 13:20Speaker 3: is the government shutdown. It's all being shut down by
- 13:23Speaker 3: government by Democrats. The Democrats are keeping it going. The
- 13:27Speaker 3: problem is the TSA is part of Homeland Security, and
- 13:31Speaker 3: TSA workers are not getting paid. They've now missed two paychecks.
- 13:35Speaker 3: About three four hundred of them have left. More are
- 13:39Speaker 3: leaving every day. And TSA screeners they don't well. They
- 13:44Speaker 3: make about forty five thousand a year. They've been working
- 13:47Speaker 3: out without pay for a couple of weeks. Now. Ten
- 13:50Speaker 3: percent are calling in sick every day. Nearly three hundred
- 13:54Speaker 3: and seventy five have quit their jobs over this. Now.
- 13:57Speaker 3: The problem is if this gets any worse, the airports
- 14:01Speaker 3: are now talking about what they call their doomsday scenario.
- 14:06Speaker 3: You know, right now, if you go to the airport
- 14:07Speaker 3: because of the TSA problems and the shortage and the shutdown,
- 14:11Speaker 3: massive delays. You know, usually it's an hour or two,
- 14:13Speaker 3: now three four five hour delays getting through security. But
- 14:18Speaker 3: the doomsday scenario is actually shutting down some airports. They're
- 14:22Speaker 3: actually talking about that now. Some airports could be shut
- 14:25Speaker 3: down entirely, which would be a real nightmare that would
- 14:29Speaker 3: affect everybody everywhere. And we'll get to coming up, we'll
- 14:33Speaker 3: get to a mom Donnie just causing a terrible scene
- 14:37Speaker 3: yesterday at the Saint Patrick's Day breakfast. We'll get to
- 14:41Speaker 3: that and a whole lot more just ahead. We'll take
- 14:43Speaker 3: some calls. Next. Eight hundred three two one zero seven
- 14:47Speaker 3: ten is the number. Eight hundred three two one zero
- 14:51Speaker 3: seven ten.
- 14:52Speaker 7: Seven trs Mark Simone Show continues.
- 14:57Speaker 3: Now, Hey, I take some calls. Eight hundred three two
- 15:02Speaker 3: one zero seven ten is the number. Eight hundred three
- 15:05Speaker 3: two one zero seven ten. Let's go to Rich in
- 15:08Speaker 3: Myrtle Beach. Rich How you doing pretty good?
- 15:11Speaker 6: Felt like twenty six degrees here this morning, so we'll
- 15:14Speaker 6: get back to the fifties tomorrow. But it was a
- 15:16Speaker 6: pretty pretty cold blast last night and the day before.
- 15:20Speaker 6: You know this, John Thune, he's got to go. He
- 15:22Speaker 6: better get his uh you know what off the off
- 15:25Speaker 6: the crapper. You know, we've got over seventy judge openings
- 15:30Speaker 6: that need to be filled. At least Mitch McConnell, the
- 15:33Speaker 6: Turtle was good at doing these judges and getting judges
- 15:36Speaker 6: appointed in. There's a lot of red states that have
- 15:38Speaker 6: a lot of openings and courting to Laura Ingram, there's
- 15:40Speaker 6: something like, you know, well over seventy high level judge
- 15:43Speaker 6: ships that need to be filled, and John Thuhon in
- 15:46Speaker 6: the Senate that they're just not doing anything to look
- 15:48Speaker 6: at the long range term by not doing anything.
- 15:50Speaker 3: Like that, You're absolutely right. Thoon is one useless guy.
- 15:54Speaker 3: Anytime you see a politician, he looks like that senator
- 15:56Speaker 3: on The Godfather, Remember I excuse you Orleo? Yeah. Yeah,
- 16:02Speaker 3: it looks like I wouldn't trust him for a second.
- 16:05Speaker 3: Not that I would trust Mitch McConnell either, but you're right,
- 16:07Speaker 3: McConnell at least been there six hundred years, knew how
- 16:10Speaker 3: to get stuff done. Let's go to doctor Bob in
- 16:13Speaker 3: Long Island. Doctor Bob, how you doing okay?
- 16:16Speaker 8: Mark, good to speak to you. Yeah, I second the
- 16:18Speaker 8: emotion about whom his disastered. He's just treading water. But
- 16:24Speaker 8: I'm just wondering, Mark, you know, they're really getting ready
- 16:26Speaker 8: to close some of the airports because the TSA people
- 16:31Speaker 8: walking off without getting paid. I can't believe that the
- 16:35Speaker 8: senators are getting paid for blocking government functions. And I
- 16:40Speaker 8: think that they should set up a priority list of
- 16:42Speaker 8: maybe some of the states that have maybe democratic senators.
- 16:50Speaker 8: Maybe tick off Massachusetts airports, maybe take off some of
- 16:54Speaker 8: the Chicago and California airports, and announce the schedule when
- 16:58Speaker 8: the closures are going to occur. Maybe that'll put some
- 17:00Speaker 8: pressure on those senators.
- 17:01Speaker 3: Yeah, it's hard to pressure these guys, but a good point. Well,
- 17:06Speaker 3: a lot of people want to make sure because normally,
- 17:09Speaker 3: you know these congressman, House Senate, they go right through
- 17:13Speaker 3: that there's no TSA line for them. They go, they
- 17:15Speaker 3: get escorted right through. An escort actually shows up, bring
- 17:18Speaker 3: them right through. Everybody wants that stopped, not just during
- 17:21Speaker 3: this but forever. You'll notice you hear the senators, the Democrats, everybody.
- 17:29Speaker 3: They'll criticize the Secretary of Defense, they'll criticize the Secretary
- 17:33Speaker 3: of State. But you'll notice you never hear anybody in
- 17:37Speaker 3: Congress Democrats. You'll never hear them criticize the Secretary of Transportation,
- 17:41Speaker 3: which right now is Sean Duffy. And the reason they
- 17:45Speaker 3: never criticize the Secretary of Transportation is when your secretary
- 17:50Speaker 3: of transportation, first thing you do is you give your
- 17:53Speaker 3: cell number to everybody in Congress, Republican, Democrat, they all
- 17:57Speaker 3: have his cell number. They're going to the airport, they
- 17:58Speaker 3: can call him, heal arrange for an escort to show up.
- 18:02Speaker 3: Whatever you got, any problem in an airport train, he
- 18:05Speaker 3: call him, take care of it, just like that. So
- 18:10Speaker 3: you could threaten them with all kinds of things. You
- 18:12Speaker 3: could threaten them with no more escorts, no more this.
- 18:15Speaker 3: And you could just say we're going to have the
- 18:17Speaker 3: Secretary of Transportation change his phone number to a new
- 18:20Speaker 3: number that you don't have. Then maybe they'll cave in
- 18:23Speaker 3: real fast. Let's go to Foggi in Long Island. Did
- 18:27Speaker 3: I say your name right, Fagi? Yes?
- 18:32Speaker 9: Hi Mark. I have a question, why can't we pass
- 18:36Speaker 9: term limits for any member of Congress or political figure?
- 18:41Speaker 9: Because presidential have term limits, why are people allowed to
- 18:45Speaker 9: be in Congress for fifty years? Make a Korea out
- 18:47Speaker 9: of it?
- 18:48Speaker 3: Yeah, no, they're all horrible. The worst people are these
- 18:50Speaker 3: lifetime senators, Republicans, Democrats, they all stink. But well, the
- 18:54Speaker 3: reason the problem is they'd have to pass it. They're
- 18:57Speaker 3: the only ones that can pass it against themselves, and
- 18:59Speaker 3: they won't do it.
- 19:00Speaker 9: And also, why can't they pass that if they prevent
- 19:04Speaker 9: any Americans who earn their living like the TSA members,
- 19:07Speaker 9: why can't we pass a lot that says if they
- 19:09Speaker 9: prevent that, they will not get paid either. It's frustrating
- 19:13Speaker 9: and I feel for those people.
- 19:14Speaker 3: Yeah, no, concres should not get paid during the shutdown.
- 19:16Speaker 3: You're absolutely right. Where are you in Long Island.
- 19:19Speaker 10: I'm on Bayville, Bayville, right next to Jackie Martlin, right,
- 19:24Speaker 10: I know, and Billy Joe.
- 19:26Speaker 9: We used to run into him into town all the time.
- 19:29Speaker 3: Well, Basil is right next to where he lives. Center
- 19:31Speaker 3: and also got the great, the great songwriter Jimmy Webb
- 19:34Speaker 3: lives in Bayville.
- 19:36Speaker 10: Yes, yes, yes, it's a beautiful time.
- 19:41Speaker 9: Yeah, it's gonna come alive in the summertime. Right now,
- 19:43Speaker 9: it's still like peaceful and quiet.
- 19:45Speaker 3: Yeah, for all you people that drive all the way
- 19:47Speaker 3: out to the Hamptons, you go to Bayville, it's got
- 19:49Speaker 3: a beautiful beach.
- 19:50Speaker 10: It's close it's I go to Southold during the summer
- 19:54Speaker 10: for work.
- 19:54Speaker 9: So I'm like, yep, I'm gonna drive.
- 19:57Speaker 3: All right, Thanks for Colin. Let's go to Gina and
- 20:00Speaker 3: Staten Island. Gina. How you doing.
- 20:03Speaker 11: Oh, I'm great.
- 20:03Speaker 6: I love your show. Mark.
- 20:05Speaker 11: I just have a question about the voter ID. I
- 20:07Speaker 11: was having an argument with my sister and she said
- 20:11Speaker 11: that she doesn't think that, you know, we should have
- 20:14Speaker 11: voter ID. And I said, yeah, but how do you
- 20:16Speaker 11: know who's voting? And she said, when she took her
- 20:18Speaker 11: son to go register to vote, you have to show
- 20:20Speaker 11: ago birth certificate. So I just I'm confused. I don't understand.
- 20:24Speaker 3: All right, let me give you some good advice. Stop
- 20:26Speaker 3: talking to your sister. I know what the else he's
- 20:30Speaker 3: talking about. Stop talking to her. Everybody has a driver's license.
- 20:36Speaker 3: Everybody can show voter ID. It's it's photo I D.
- 20:40Speaker 3: It's the easiest thing to do. It's everywhere you go,
- 20:43Speaker 3: everywhere in the world, you have to show a photo ID.
- 20:46Speaker 3: To get into any office building, to buy medicine, to
- 20:50Speaker 3: do anything, you had to have photo ID. Everybody has it.
- 20:53Speaker 3: It's a simple thing to do, but it screws up
- 20:56Speaker 3: the Democrats and you know they're putting legals on the
- 21:01Speaker 3: on the ballots and all that. It screws them up
- 21:03Speaker 3: to do it. So that's the reason they keep it
- 21:05Speaker 3: posting it. We'll get to this in the next hour.
- 21:06Speaker 3: It's a very good topic. In the next hour. We'll
- 21:09Speaker 3: get to this save act. It's very important. You know,
- 21:13Speaker 3: the yell and scream on MSNBC or CNN, how it's
- 21:17Speaker 3: wrong to make people show photo ID. It's racist, it's suppresses,
- 21:20Speaker 3: it's you have to show a photo ID to get
- 21:23Speaker 3: into MSNBC or CNN. Every guest on the show has
- 21:27Speaker 3: to show a photo ID. I'm sitting here at iHeart.
- 21:30Speaker 3: You gotta show photo ID to get in this building.
- 21:32Speaker 3: Everybody does everywhere. Hey, when we come back to brilliant
- 21:35Speaker 3: columnist Liz Peak, we'll be with us next. We've got
- 21:38Speaker 3: lots to talk to her about coming up on seven
- 21:40Speaker 3: to ten WR The.
- 21:42Speaker 1: Mar Simone Show on seven tr.
- 21:47Speaker 3: Well. Liz Peak, the brilliant columnists and your reader at
- 21:51Speaker 3: the Foxnews dot com, Thehill dot com. You see her
- 21:53Speaker 3: all over television, and make sure you go to her website.
- 21:56Speaker 3: It's great news and analysis every day. It's Liz peak
- 22:00Speaker 3: dot Com and sign up for the It'll come to
- 22:02Speaker 3: your free every day. To your email lizpeak dot com, Lizpeak.
- 22:06Speaker 3: How you doing.
- 22:08Speaker 12: I'm terrific. Thank you for having me.
- 22:10Speaker 3: On, Mark, Hey, great to have you. The Fed decision
- 22:13Speaker 3: later today, they'll do nothing, right, they'll.
- 22:17Speaker 12: Probably do nothing. And you know, I've been thinking about
- 22:21Speaker 12: this a lot, of course everyone has. So what is
- 22:24Speaker 12: the biggest issue right now?
- 22:26Speaker 13: What?
- 22:26Speaker 12: You know, you just had Congress come together in a
- 22:30Speaker 12: bipartisan fashion to pass a housing bill. Congress almost never
- 22:35Speaker 12: does anything in a bipartisan fashion. And as Steve Forbes
- 22:39Speaker 12: said to me yesterday on set, you know, it's a
- 22:41Speaker 12: problem if it's bipartisan. And I kind of agree with him.
- 22:45Speaker 12: I mean, I think this is a little bit of
- 22:47Speaker 12: a boneheaded bill. Some of it's good, some of the
- 22:50Speaker 12: releasing and removing of permitting and so forth, it's very important.
- 22:55Speaker 12: But what's the biggest issue. It's affordability. What's that all about?
- 22:59Speaker 12: It's more gage rates. Mortgage rates are too high. The
- 23:02Speaker 12: Fed needs to lower rates. And Mark just ask yourself
- 23:05Speaker 12: what impact does raising or lowering the FED rate have
- 23:10Speaker 12: on oil prices? The answer is zero. So oil prices
- 23:15Speaker 12: are high obviously because of the war, they've gone up
- 23:18Speaker 12: a fair amount thirty percent or more. And yes, that's
- 23:22Speaker 12: going to feed into all kinds of products, petrochemicals, plastics, fertilizers,
- 23:27Speaker 12: et cetera. Does it have anything to do with interest
- 23:30Speaker 12: rates that the Fed a setting.
- 23:32Speaker 1: No, it has none.
- 23:33Speaker 12: So you know, usually the Canesiine approach is the raise
- 23:38Speaker 12: interest rates to damp and demand. No one's going to
- 23:40Speaker 12: drive less or consume less plastics because the Fed lowers
- 23:45Speaker 12: interest rates. That is a fact. So you know, I
- 23:49Speaker 12: think the two issues are totally separate. I think the
- 23:53Speaker 12: Fed should acknowledge that. I hope they do, and they
- 23:57Speaker 12: set the stage for lower interest rates as the year
- 24:00Speaker 12: goes on, because we do have a pretty sluggish employment
- 24:03Speaker 12: market right now. There is their dual mandate, as you
- 24:06Speaker 12: well know, they're supposed to be watching the jobs market
- 24:09Speaker 12: and inflation. And what we really need to do is
- 24:15Speaker 12: to get Kevin warsh in there as head of the FED.
- 24:18Speaker 12: It's not a guarantee that he's going to lead the
- 24:20Speaker 12: FED and lowering rates, but it's sure a bet, pretty
- 24:22Speaker 12: good bet that Jay Powell isn't going to do that.
- 24:25Speaker 12: And we have this absurd to me situation where Janine Piro,
- 24:30Speaker 12: who I like and admire very much, is hanging on
- 24:33Speaker 12: to what I think is a completely flimsy and inconsequential
- 24:40Speaker 12: pursuit of J. Powell is supposedly having mismanaged or possibly
- 24:46Speaker 12: even crookedly managed the building of the FED headquarters. For
- 24:51Speaker 12: heaven's sakes, get rid of this, get rid of it,
- 24:53Speaker 12: get rid of Tom Tillis's objection to getting the Kevin
- 24:57Speaker 12: Worst nomination through, and let's start were with a new, better,
- 25:01Speaker 12: more efficient, and more up to date Federal Reserve, which
- 25:03Speaker 12: is what has to happen.
- 25:05Speaker 3: Well, J.
- 25:06Speaker 12: Powell, long run.
- 25:08Speaker 3: Yeah, apologies J Powell. Building a new FED building for
- 25:11Speaker 3: what should have cost six hundred million ended up costing
- 25:14Speaker 3: three billions. So definite, definite mismanagement there. But you're right, yeah,
- 25:18Speaker 3: court case is going to.
- 25:19Speaker 12: Go on criminal. No, he's not a criminal. I mean
- 25:22Speaker 12: I think he's an ineffectual FED chair and obviously a
- 25:26Speaker 12: very ineffectual overseer of a construction project. But if every
- 25:31Speaker 12: construction manager in Washington, DC who oversaw a cost overrun
- 25:36Speaker 12: went to jail, you know, the streets would be a
- 25:39Speaker 12: lot lighter. Let's just say that.
- 25:41Speaker 3: Yeah, But you know, if you can't manage the construction
- 25:43Speaker 3: of a building. If you're that unaware, if you're that bumbling,
- 25:46Speaker 3: why should you manage the American economy?
- 25:49Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 25:50Speaker 12: Okay, So let's get rid of him. And the only
- 25:51Speaker 12: way we're going to get rid of him is by
- 25:53Speaker 12: replacing him. And we can't replace him now because we
- 25:56Speaker 12: have a you know, a Republican supposedly Republicans who's saying
- 26:01Speaker 12: he won't further the nomination unless they drop these charges.
- 26:04Speaker 12: So this is sort of easy in my head. We
- 26:06Speaker 12: want Jay Powell out, get rid of this.
- 26:09Speaker 3: Yeah, when would we get a new FED chairman? As
- 26:11Speaker 3: it may that a new federmans And yes, we get
- 26:15Speaker 3: a new FED chairman. J Powell can stay on the
- 26:17Speaker 3: FED board, correct.
- 26:18Speaker 12: He can for I think it's two and a half
- 26:21Speaker 12: more years after that.
- 26:22Speaker 3: Oh okay, well.
- 26:24Speaker 12: I mean the question is will he do that? I'm
- 26:26Speaker 12: not sure that he will. It is not very I
- 26:29Speaker 12: mean this is true in corporate world too. It's not
- 26:31Speaker 12: very much fun to see the top roll and then
- 26:35Speaker 12: hang around to sort of see what happens next. That
- 26:37Speaker 12: generally speaking, is not a recipe for success.
- 26:41Speaker 3: Yeah, the Save Act, it makes perfect sense to everybody
- 26:46Speaker 3: in America. You got to show your driver's license, your
- 26:48Speaker 3: photo ID to vote. You got to do that to
- 26:51Speaker 3: enter any building in Manhattan. You got to show that
- 26:53Speaker 3: to buy prescriptions for a million things. Uh so, what
- 26:58Speaker 3: do you think will it ever?
- 26:59Speaker 12: You have to do it to shovel snow under mayor
- 27:01Speaker 12: Mom Dannie have two means of identification mark no one.
- 27:06Speaker 12: I also think very few people are challenging. Certainly nobody
- 27:10Speaker 12: on the right is challenging the need for voter ID.
- 27:13Speaker 12: The problem now is they sort of gunked up this
- 27:15Speaker 12: bill with issues that they knew that Democrats were going
- 27:19Speaker 12: to have a hard time voting for, like transgender you know,
- 27:23Speaker 12: letting boys play in girls' sports and all these things.
- 27:26Speaker 12: I agree with everything in the bill, but my view
- 27:30Speaker 12: is that they should have I think they should junk
- 27:33Speaker 12: the whole thing and have a one issue bill on
- 27:36Speaker 12: the floor. The one issue is voter ID. Make Democrats
- 27:39Speaker 12: vote against something that eighty plus percent of the country applauds.
- 27:45Speaker 12: And I really think that is the way to pass this.
- 27:48Speaker 12: And frankly, the Republicans in Congress need a few wins
- 27:51Speaker 12: right now. They need to actually pass some things to
- 27:54Speaker 12: have the President sign it. And let's have voter ID
- 27:57Speaker 12: and if you want to complicate it a little bit
- 27:59Speaker 12: by having the registration a proof of citizenship, I applaud
- 28:03Speaker 12: that as well. I know Democrats have all kinds of
- 28:05Speaker 12: objections to that. Dick Blumenthal just came out and said
- 28:08Speaker 12: he didn't know where his birth certificate was, and I
- 28:11Speaker 12: tweeted back that if he doesn't know where his passport is,
- 28:14Speaker 12: then he's really got a cognitive problem. But you know,
- 28:17Speaker 12: I think there we could have this bill simpler, better
- 28:21Speaker 12: and again make it clear to the American public what's
- 28:24Speaker 12: in it. Now you've got all this other stuff, and
- 28:26Speaker 12: I think that was a huge mistake.
- 28:28Speaker 3: Yeah, you know, a while back, I wasn't sure where
- 28:31Speaker 3: my birth certificate was and I went online and there's
- 28:33Speaker 3: about ten thousand sites that you can go to that
- 28:36Speaker 3: will get you over you get a copy, get a
- 28:37Speaker 3: replacement birth certificate in two weeks. It's easy to do. So, yes, hey,
- 28:42Speaker 3: this Joe Kent, this counter terrorism whatever he is, who
- 28:46Speaker 3: quit and protest? How long before we see him as
- 28:50Speaker 3: a host on MSNBC or CNN.
- 28:52Speaker 12: Ahha, Probably that could happen. Although he is I think
- 28:58Speaker 12: emerging as a bit of a wing nut. And what
- 29:00Speaker 12: I mean by that is, he's really on the far
- 29:02Speaker 12: reaches of this sort of Israeli conspiracy plus you know,
- 29:11Speaker 12: anti Semitism, right in league with people like Tucker Carlson,
- 29:16Speaker 12: Megan Kelly and so forth, who think this whole war
- 29:19Speaker 12: is about Israel. And I have to say, Mark, of
- 29:22Speaker 12: all the presidents we've had in recent times, or even
- 29:26Speaker 12: political leaders, the idea that Donald Trump is being led
- 29:30Speaker 12: by the nose by a foreign ally Benjamin at Yahu,
- 29:35Speaker 12: is so ludicrous to me. I don't know anybody who
- 29:38Speaker 12: is more self determined, let us say, than Donald Trump, right,
- 29:44Speaker 12: I mean, and completely does what he wants to do
- 29:47Speaker 12: when he wants to do it, et cetera. Joe Kent, yes,
- 29:52Speaker 12: is now a darling of the left because he's come
- 29:54Speaker 12: out critical of the war. But you know, look at
- 29:58Speaker 12: what he said in interview is just two years ago,
- 30:01Speaker 12: about Iran being a major threat to this country. It's
- 30:05Speaker 12: really almost impossible for me to believe. By the way,
- 30:08Speaker 12: a couple of years ago he was talking about maybe
- 30:10Speaker 12: running for office, I have to think some of this
- 30:13Speaker 12: is maybe in preparation for some attempt to run for office.
- 30:16Speaker 12: I don't know, obviously, I don't know, but I think
- 30:21Speaker 12: it's incredibly phony baloney. And you know that's the kind
- 30:25Speaker 12: of heroes the left.
- 30:26Speaker 3: Have right now. Yeah, very interesting. Well, everybody read Liz
- 30:30Speaker 3: Peak's columns, watch her on TV, and go to her
- 30:32Speaker 3: website and make sure you sign up get the daily
- 30:35Speaker 3: news briefings every it's very good stuff. You go to
- 30:38Speaker 3: lizpeako dot com, lizpeak dot com, Liz Peak, thanks for being.
- 30:43Speaker 6: With us, Thank you for having me.
- 30:45Speaker 12: Mark, take care all right.
- 30:46Speaker 3: Talk to you soon. Hey, don't forget Buck and Clay
- 30:50Speaker 3: Noon Today. Boy, they do a great show every day
- 30:52Speaker 3: from noon to three. Then right after that three o'clock
- 30:54Speaker 3: you got the most listened to radio show in America,
- 30:58Speaker 3: Sean Hannity. You got Jesse Kelly at six, and the
- 31:02Speaker 3: best news show on w o R. Well, we've got
- 31:04Speaker 3: Curtis in the morning. But also it's it's Jimmy Fail,
- 31:08Speaker 3: a very funny show every night nine o'clock on seven
- 31:11Speaker 3: to ten wor.
- 31:13Speaker 1: To the Mark Simone Show on seven wor.
- 31:19Speaker 3: Well, Hey, coming up in the next hour, we'll get
- 31:22Speaker 3: to our crazy mayor and a whole lot more. And uh,
- 31:26Speaker 3: don't forget ten to noon every day live or listen
- 31:29Speaker 3: anytime to this show. Just get the podcast back after
- 31:32Speaker 3: the news seven to ten wr now more.
- 31:36Speaker 1: Mark Simone on seven ten wor.
- 31:44Speaker 3: Well, hey, this Save America Act. I don't like the
- 31:48Speaker 3: name of that Save America Act. Yeah, Save Elections Act.
- 31:52Speaker 3: Maybe it just means you got to show a photo
- 31:55Speaker 3: ID to vote, which makes perfect sense. You have to
- 31:57Speaker 3: show a photo I D everywhere. You know, you've seen
- 31:59Speaker 3: that list of where you need to show a photo ID.
- 32:02Speaker 3: It's like one hundred and twenty five of the most
- 32:04Speaker 3: commonly done things by everybody in America. You can't enter
- 32:09Speaker 3: any office building of Manhattan without a photo idea. Everybody
- 32:11Speaker 3: has a driver's license or a photo ID, and if
- 32:14Speaker 3: you don't, it's easy to get it takes a second.
- 32:17Speaker 3: And if you don't have your birth certificate, you go online.
- 32:19Speaker 3: You can order one replacement. It takes two weeks to
- 32:23Speaker 3: get it. It's an easy thing to do, but Democrats
- 32:27Speaker 3: oppose it because, Hey, the fact that they oppose it
- 32:32Speaker 3: so passionately means that there is some voter fraud. And
- 32:37Speaker 3: it's known that a lot of people who shouldn't vote
- 32:39Speaker 3: vote in certain places, especially in big blue cities like
- 32:43Speaker 3: New York, where Democratic municipal workers control everything and control
- 32:48Speaker 3: the polls. It's en It's been proven a thousand times now.
- 32:51Speaker 3: You could argue that this type of voter fraud is
- 32:55Speaker 3: a small percentage of any election. Even the most fake
- 33:00Speaker 3: use Democrats like George Stephanopolis on the air have admitted
- 33:04Speaker 3: it does exist, but they argue it's only one or
- 33:07Speaker 3: two percent or three percent. Well, some people think over
- 33:10Speaker 3: the last few years it's gotten to be more like
- 33:12Speaker 3: six seven percent in blue cities, eight percent night, which
- 33:16Speaker 3: can really make a difference. Our elections are closer and closer,
- 33:19Speaker 3: and you want to do something about all this cheating,
- 33:21Speaker 3: and the President's been pushing this Save America Act.
- 33:24Speaker 14: Who would not have voter ID, who would not have
- 33:27Speaker 14: a proof of citizenship, and the only people who would
- 33:31Speaker 14: want not to have that or people that want to cheat.
- 33:35Speaker 3: It makes sense now if you get a dopey Democrat,
- 33:40Speaker 3: a Chuck Schumer, a Richard Blumenthal, these old, sleazy, old
- 33:44Speaker 3: professional politicians, they will argue that minority voters are too
- 33:50Speaker 3: stupid to get an ID, or too primitive or too backwards.
- 33:54Speaker 3: Some reason they think there's no way they could get
- 33:57Speaker 3: How on earth would they get an ID. It's the
- 34:00Speaker 3: most racist idiotic, dumbest thing Democrats have ever said. But Schumer,
- 34:06Speaker 3: it's voter suppression.
- 34:08Speaker 15: The Save Act is not about voter identification.
- 34:12Speaker 3: It's about voter suppression. How would that suppress any vote anybody?
- 34:19Speaker 3: Do you know anybody that couldn't figure out how to
- 34:21Speaker 3: get an ID card? You couldn't function in today's world
- 34:24Speaker 3: without it. It's again, I don't like to name the
- 34:28Speaker 3: Save Act. So no, we're not going to let it pass.
- 34:30Speaker 3: We're going to fight it tooth and nail. Prepared to
- 34:32Speaker 3: stay here. Yeah, the Democrats will not allow this thing
- 34:35Speaker 3: to pass. So no, we're not going to let it pass.
- 34:36Speaker 4: We're going to fight it tooth and nail, prepared to
- 34:38Speaker 4: stay here all day and all nights, or multiple days
- 34:42Speaker 4: and multiple nights and even multiple weeks if necessary, to
- 34:46Speaker 4: make sure the Save Act suffers the death that it deserves.
- 34:52Speaker 3: Now you know how you know? The Save Act is
- 34:53Speaker 3: a great thing. Some of the dumbest people in America
- 34:56Speaker 3: oppose it. Jimmy Kimmel, for instance, is angry, bitter Jimmy
- 35:00Speaker 3: Kimmel last Night thing. It going on and on. It's
- 35:05Speaker 3: an attempt to hijack the midterms. It's an attempt to
- 35:07Speaker 3: hijack the election. They just get crazier and crazier hijack
- 35:12Speaker 3: the election. It just means only Americans could vote in it.
- 35:16Speaker 3: Speaking of dumb Hakeem Jeffrey. Now, the United States Constitution
- 35:19Speaker 3: also makes clear that only citizens can vote. That's a
- 35:25Speaker 3: constitutional requirement exactly. So let's enforce that. Show an ID.
- 35:31Speaker 3: Let's enforce that. It's the craziest thing in the world.
- 35:36Speaker 3: You know, you need a photo ID to get everything
- 35:39Speaker 3: from Obamacare to food stamps to everything. It's it's again,
- 35:44Speaker 3: it's just simple common sense. Hey, crazy mom Donnie Moron
- 35:48Speaker 3: Zamdani or Zoran mam Donni, whatever his name is. He's
- 35:52Speaker 3: the mayor of New York. So yesterday it's the Saint
- 35:56Speaker 3: Patrick's Day Breakfast at Gracie Mansion. Now, one thing about St.
- 35:59Speaker 3: Patrick State, it's a fun holiday. It's nothing but fun.
- 36:03Speaker 3: People wear green hats, they eat green bagels, they drink beer.
- 36:06Speaker 3: It's just a fun holiday. It's all about fun. Mom
- 36:11Speaker 3: Donnie is to host this to Saint Patrick's date breakfast.
- 36:14Speaker 3: You know, all these dignitaries come. So he gets up
- 36:18Speaker 3: in the middle of this and everybody was just stunned
- 36:21Speaker 3: at how inappropriate he got totally totally inappropriate. He starts
- 36:26Speaker 3: talking about Palestine and genocide and which it's totally totally inappropriate.
- 36:32Speaker 3: Bill Donnie, he was there, President of the Catholic League.
- 36:36Speaker 3: He said he can't believe the way he politicized this breakfast.
- 36:40Speaker 3: He went on to say, Mom, Donnie is the master
- 36:43Speaker 3: of victimization. Everybody's a victim, everybody's oppressed. His left wing
- 36:48Speaker 3: friends might like it, but you know, nobody was more
- 36:51Speaker 3: oppressed or more victimized than the Irish when they first
- 36:55Speaker 3: came to America one hundred and something years ago. They
- 36:59Speaker 3: were totally dis ruminated against. They weren't allowed to live
- 37:01Speaker 3: in certain places. There were signs in windows Irish need
- 37:04Speaker 3: not apply to you know, all the stories. They were
- 37:07Speaker 3: one of the most depressed minorities ever to come to America.
- 37:10Speaker 3: It didn't last long, luckily, but I guess that's what
- 37:14Speaker 3: the Mamdani was trying to get to that, but to
- 37:18Speaker 3: bring up human rights and the Palestinians, and it was
- 37:22Speaker 3: just crazy. I think this is the this is actually
- 37:24Speaker 3: what he said there.
- 37:25Speaker 5: I say this is over the past few years, as
- 37:28Speaker 5: we've witnessed a genocide unfold before our eyes, there has
- 37:30Speaker 5: been deafening silence from so many for those who have
- 37:33Speaker 5: long cared about universal human rights and the extension of
- 37:36Speaker 5: them to Palestinians. Silence, however, is nothing new.
- 37:40Speaker 3: Well, he got a lot of silence because nobody applauded.
- 37:42Speaker 3: They couldn't believe he was politicizing all of this. We
- 37:46Speaker 3: did witness some genocide with our own eyes. I think
- 37:49Speaker 3: that was called October seventh. That was genocide Palestinians. Hamas
- 37:54Speaker 3: committed a holocaust on October seventh. Now this Mamdani, you
- 38:00Speaker 3: can thank these some of these Democratic voters for getting
- 38:02Speaker 3: this guy elected. Actually we could thank Andrew Cuomo. Nobody
- 38:05Speaker 3: did more to get mam Donni elected than Andrew Cuomo.
- 38:09Speaker 3: Had he just stayed the hell out of it the primary,
- 38:12Speaker 3: the Democratic primary would have been a whole different affair.
- 38:15Speaker 3: There were a lot of candidates. In fact, had Cuomo
- 38:17Speaker 3: not been around, Eric Adams most likely would have been
- 38:20Speaker 3: in the primary. It probably would have won. But Cuomo
- 38:23Speaker 3: got in. Their Democrats hate Cuomo. Oh, he just makes
- 38:26Speaker 3: their flesh crawl. So Mam Donnie easily won the primary.
- 38:31Speaker 3: Don't believe that fake Oh, it was the ranked choice
- 38:34Speaker 3: voting had nothing to do with the ranked choice voting.
- 38:36Speaker 3: Cuomo lost badly on the first ballot, and thinking about
- 38:40Speaker 3: the nerve of Cuomo, he just left office in disgrace.
- 38:43Speaker 3: He fled Albney, being chased by the police out of there,
- 38:47Speaker 3: and he decides to run. That's like Nixon running two
- 38:49Speaker 3: weeks after Watergate.
- 38:51Speaker 6: You can't.
- 38:51Speaker 3: I mean, if he had waited ten years, fifteen years, maybe,
- 38:55Speaker 3: but to get in the race, he just screwed everything up.
- 38:59Speaker 3: But mom Donani gets himself. He wins the primary, which
- 39:03Speaker 3: is pretty much, you win that Democratic primary, it's ninety percent,
- 39:07Speaker 3: you're gonna win the election. But Mam Donnie has a
- 39:10Speaker 3: history of all this. Listen, Mam donnie, not that long
- 39:14Speaker 3: ago before he was mayor, yelling and screaming and ranting
- 39:17Speaker 3: and ravings.
- 39:18Speaker 7: Lissen that constantly reaffirm Israel's right to exist because people
- 39:23Speaker 7: like me are constantly attacked by politicians.
- 39:26Speaker 3: Oh, actually, wait, the wrong clip. This is a this
- 39:28Speaker 3: is a guy heckling Mom donnie. That's good, that's good.
- 39:30Speaker 3: That's even better. Mam Donnie's got a history of these
- 39:32Speaker 3: anti Semitic, anti Israel rants. But here's a heckler going
- 39:36Speaker 3: after him.
- 39:36Speaker 7: This sen that constantly reaffirm Israel's right to exist because
- 39:41Speaker 7: people like me are constantly attacked by politicians for standing
- 39:45Speaker 7: up for Palestine, and you are constantly defending the right
- 39:48Speaker 7: for Israel to exist. My family is a Pilestein right now.
- 39:53Speaker 3: Oh wait, man, I got the other way around.
- 39:54Speaker 7: This is anti Israel, free Palestein, but also Israel has
- 39:58Speaker 7: the right to exist. Don't hypocritical, don't be hip a
- 40:01Speaker 7: critical and stay free house dic.
- 40:03Speaker 3: I don't know what this clip is.
- 40:05Speaker 7: This in that constantly reaffirm it is Ral's right for whatever.
- 40:09Speaker 3: You hear a guy yelling like that, you know he's crazy.
- 40:12Speaker 3: You know when you're walking down the street and there's
- 40:13Speaker 3: that homeless guy in the corner.
- 40:14Speaker 7: This in, this in that constantly reaffirm it is Rol's
- 40:20Speaker 7: right to exist because people like me are content.
- 40:23Speaker 3: What about the two state solution, Well, I think we
- 40:27Speaker 3: tried that. It led to October seventh, so I don't
- 40:29Speaker 3: think we need to try that again. But anyway, Hey,
- 40:33Speaker 3: here's something going on that I really really really really
- 40:35Speaker 3: don't like. It's a growing trend these speed cameras. They're everywhere.
- 40:43Speaker 3: They're starting to put them around Manhattan. This's went over
- 40:45Speaker 3: there on fifty seventh around tenth Avenue. These speed cameras.
- 40:51Speaker 3: If you speed, let's say the speed limit is twenty
- 40:54Speaker 3: five ego twenty eight, twenty nine, it's taking a picture
- 40:59Speaker 3: of your license plate, you get a ticket in the mail. Well,
- 41:03Speaker 3: they're starting to appear everywhere.
- 41:05Speaker 13: Now.
- 41:05Speaker 3: Los Angeles has just decided they're going to do one
- 41:09Speaker 3: hundred and twenty five speed cameras to try them out.
- 41:13Speaker 3: And if you're going more than something, you get a
- 41:15Speaker 3: two hundred dollars ticket. If you're going more than one hundred,
- 41:20Speaker 3: more than one hundred, okay, then you should definitely get
- 41:23Speaker 3: five hundred dollars ticket. But they tested it out in
- 41:25Speaker 3: San Francisco. They put a bunch of speed cameras around
- 41:29Speaker 3: and the revenue the cameras generated and there's only thirty
- 41:32Speaker 3: three cameras. They just tried it with thirty three cameras,
- 41:35Speaker 3: it generated seventeen million a year in revenue. So if
- 41:39Speaker 3: Los Angeles tries their one hundred and twenty five cameras,
- 41:43Speaker 3: they think it'll bring sixty four million in revenue. And
- 41:47Speaker 3: these are these are these new speed cameras. It uses radar.
- 41:50Speaker 3: It uses a lightar, which is like a laser pulse technology.
- 41:55Speaker 3: And you know when they're going to do this, New
- 41:58Speaker 3: York is going to do. You start to see them
- 41:59Speaker 3: in the suburbs now, a lot of suburban towns they're
- 42:02Speaker 3: putting these speed cameras, especially in school zones. Okay, I
- 42:06Speaker 3: understand that when school's in session, but you know, and
- 42:10Speaker 3: then what they do with the speed camera, they make
- 42:12Speaker 3: the speed limit twenty. There's parts in New York now
- 42:15Speaker 3: school zones. Mom Donnie's talking about making the speed limit fifteen.
- 42:19Speaker 3: You can't drive fifteen. It's impossible. Who could drive fifteen
- 42:24Speaker 3: miles an hour? That mother and the Golden Girls can't
- 42:28Speaker 3: drive that slow. It's impossible. It can't be done. So
- 42:32Speaker 3: this is going to be a problem. These speed cameras
- 42:34Speaker 3: are going to be everywhere. You're going to get tickets
- 42:36Speaker 3: day and night, every time you can get home, me
- 42:40Speaker 3: do tickets in your mailbox. Got to do something about this.
- 42:44Speaker 3: We need President Trump somebody to step in. Ban the
- 42:47Speaker 3: speed cameras. You want to catch somebody, catch them fair
- 42:50Speaker 3: and square with a you're gonna have to have the
- 42:53Speaker 3: problem is, you don't need a cop there. You don't
- 42:55Speaker 3: need a car, a cop, a radar gun. You don't
- 42:57Speaker 3: need any of that, and it's easier and easier doing
- 43:00Speaker 3: these speed cameras get cheaper and cheaper. Going to be
- 43:03Speaker 3: a big problem. Next thing, you know, they'll be on
- 43:04Speaker 3: the highways and nobody goes to speed limit. If you
- 43:08Speaker 3: went fifty five on a highway, you get run over.
- 43:10Speaker 3: Nobody goes the speed limit on highway unless you see
- 43:13Speaker 3: a cop. Then everybody goes fifty five for a quarter
- 43:16Speaker 3: of a mile. Then they speed up again. This is
- 43:19Speaker 3: a big, big problem. Amazon depends where you live. If
- 43:24Speaker 3: you're out in the suburbs, you order something on Amazon,
- 43:26Speaker 3: maybe you get it the next day, maybe two days,
- 43:28Speaker 3: three day. You know one thing about it. If you
- 43:29Speaker 3: live in the middle of Manhattan, you order something on Amazon,
- 43:32Speaker 3: next morning, it's there, next day it's there. But that's
- 43:35Speaker 3: not good enough for people. Amazon is now going to
- 43:37Speaker 3: launch they're trying this out in major cities. They're going
- 43:40Speaker 3: to launch one hour or three hour delivery options one
- 43:44Speaker 3: hour or three hours, and it's fast deliveries on selected
- 43:50Speaker 3: products like pantry, staples, clothing, over the counter, medications, cleaning supplies,
- 43:56Speaker 3: and electronics. They're trying it out in two thousand cities.
- 43:59Speaker 3: Now there's a charge for this one hour. So it's
- 44:01Speaker 3: four ninety nine for Amazon Prime members, fourteen ninety nine
- 44:06Speaker 3: for non members. Would you pay four ninety nine to
- 44:07Speaker 3: get something in an hour? I don't know. One hour
- 44:12Speaker 3: delivery slots are available right now, Los Angeles, Chicago, Washington. Oh,
- 44:17Speaker 3: it's more for one hour. It's nine ninety nine. Ten
- 44:20Speaker 3: bucks for one hour service. I don't know. You got
- 44:24Speaker 3: to pay ten bucks for one hour service? Cleaning supplies,
- 44:28Speaker 3: non prescription medications. Okay, Let's take something you get in
- 44:31Speaker 3: a drug store. And a lot of times you don't
- 44:34Speaker 3: want to go to the drug store. See you order
- 44:35Speaker 3: a couple of bottles on Amazon and it comes in
- 44:37Speaker 3: a day or two, and it's fine, but you need
- 44:40Speaker 3: it in an hour. I don't know. See, I don't
- 44:44Speaker 3: know if this is gonna work. Take where I am
- 44:46Speaker 3: right now. We're at fifty fifth and sixth the middle
- 44:50Speaker 3: of Manhattan. Let's say want something from the drug store,
- 44:54Speaker 3: pay ten dollars for one hour service. I could actually
- 44:56Speaker 3: get it in one second. Just take the elevator down.
- 45:00Speaker 3: You know how many drug stores are within a blocker? Here,
- 45:03Speaker 3: there's a Dwayne read over there, there's a Dwayne read
- 45:06Speaker 3: over there, there's the Windsor Pharmacy, one of the greatest
- 45:10Speaker 3: drug stores in America. There's another Dwayne read Ooh, but
- 45:14Speaker 3: I'd have to walk two blocks to get to that one.
- 45:17Speaker 3: If I was willing to walk three blocks. There's a
- 45:19Speaker 3: CVS at fifty seventh and eight, so something from the supermarket.
- 45:25Speaker 3: There's two within a blocker here. No, there's two within
- 45:28Speaker 3: a half a block a here. So would I pay
- 45:30Speaker 3: ten dollars to Amazon? I don't think so. And I
- 45:33Speaker 3: think this is going to fail. Hey, remember that couple
- 45:35Speaker 3: on the Coldplay Kiss Camera. So the woman is all
- 45:40Speaker 3: of a sudden doing the interview. She was even on
- 45:41Speaker 3: with Oprah on her podcast. I don't know why she's
- 45:44Speaker 3: doing all these interviews. I guess having trouble getting a job,
- 45:46Speaker 3: she wants to clear up her name. So you remember
- 45:48Speaker 3: the cold Play Kiss camera shows them hugging and suddenly
- 45:53Speaker 3: they see the cameras on them, and they duck and
- 45:55Speaker 3: they turn around and they run like thieves. But she
- 45:59Speaker 3: did the interview and she said, well, everybody misunderstood this.
- 46:02Speaker 3: She said, I was already separated from my husband. Our
- 46:06Speaker 3: marriage was over. And she basically implies, well, his marriage
- 46:11Speaker 3: was over. It was nothing. She's the woman said, I
- 46:14Speaker 3: was already separated from my husband at the time, and
- 46:16Speaker 3: he was totally aware of this relationship I had, and
- 46:19Speaker 3: we got very close. She blamed the closeness of their relationship.
- 46:23Speaker 3: You know, in the modern day office, nobody has an office.
- 46:26Speaker 3: It's all everybody works in one big room. It's all
- 46:29Speaker 3: out in the open. You're all sitting next to each other.
- 46:31Speaker 3: She said that made them closer. But are we buying
- 46:34Speaker 3: this they were already separated. If they were already separated,
- 46:38Speaker 3: why would they run and duck and run for cover
- 46:41Speaker 3: when the camera's on. It doesn't make any sense. But
- 46:44Speaker 3: Oprah sitting there nodding like it's like it's right. But hey,
- 46:48Speaker 3: speaking to mom, Donnie, this is really bad. He is
- 46:54Speaker 3: trying to drain the big apples rainy day fund. Who
- 46:58Speaker 3: got this budget shortfall deficit? So you do what any
- 47:02Speaker 3: manager does, you cut your budget a little. But instead
- 47:05Speaker 3: he wants to drain the rainy day fun. Luckily, we
- 47:07Speaker 3: got a pretty common sense, normal person as the city
- 47:11Speaker 3: council speaker. She's going to fight him all the way.
- 47:14Speaker 3: So that's good news. Hey, we'll take some calls next
- 47:16Speaker 3: eight hundred three to two one zero seven ten is
- 47:19Speaker 3: the number. Eight hundred three two one zero seven ten,
- 47:25Speaker 3: Mark Zimo, Hey, we'll take some calls. Eight hundred three
- 47:33Speaker 3: to two one zero seven ten is the number. Hey.
- 47:36Speaker 3: By the way, great very moving funeral yesterday for Ernie A. Nastes.
- 47:41Speaker 3: Hundreds and hundreds of people showed up and afterwards a
- 47:45Speaker 3: lot of celebration of Ernie's life and what a turnout yesterday.
- 47:50Speaker 3: Let's go to Mike in Florida. Mike, we lost Mike.
- 47:56Speaker 3: Let's go to uh Mary and Mark in Suffolk County.
- 48:00Speaker 3: How you doing.
- 48:03Speaker 13: Hey in Mark, it's Morris, not Mark.
- 48:06Speaker 3: Oh, okay, Morris, even better Morris in Suffolk County.
- 48:11Speaker 12: Hey.
- 48:11Speaker 13: And what they're talking about these speed fans. You mentioned
- 48:14Speaker 13: that they might go on the highway one day. Oh, yeah,
- 48:18Speaker 13: we're a little outdated. About four or five years ago,
- 48:21Speaker 13: I was coming back from National Harbord in Maryland. Yeah,
- 48:25Speaker 13: and traffic was going about fifty miles.
- 48:27Speaker 3: An hour and you got caught on speed camera.
- 48:31Speaker 13: Yeah, I got caught them.
- 48:33Speaker 3: But they're they're not really being used on highways yet.
- 48:36Speaker 3: That's the problem. We're going to start seeing them on highways.
- 48:38Speaker 3: Not going to be good.
- 48:39Speaker 13: Well in Maryland.
- 48:41Speaker 3: Yeah, no, I don't think you understand what we're saying.
- 48:43Speaker 3: I'm sure there's one on a highway somewhere in the world,
- 48:45Speaker 3: but they're not being used on highways around here. But
- 48:48Speaker 3: where are you in Suffolk County?
- 48:51Speaker 13: Mysel did?
- 48:52Speaker 3: Oh, okay, that explains everything. All right, thanks for calling.
- 48:55Speaker 3: Take care. Let's go to Joe in Columbus, New Jersey. Joe,
- 49:00Speaker 3: how you doing good? Mike?
- 49:02Speaker 13: How are you?
- 49:02Speaker 6: It's on your screener. You know, if you or someone
- 49:05Speaker 6: can get the mayor Mandannie and ask him a simple
- 49:08Speaker 6: question I've never heard anybody asked. I think would take
- 49:11Speaker 6: the legs right out of these democrats, socialist communists that
- 49:14Speaker 6: are just growing in popularity.
- 49:17Speaker 3: And it's simple.
- 49:18Speaker 6: He's always said, you know New York City.
- 49:20Speaker 3: Is them, Well, what's what's the What's the question.
- 49:24Speaker 6: Wealthy's country in the world is how do you think
- 49:27Speaker 6: it got so wealthy? Do you think it was created
- 49:29Speaker 6: by capitalism or created by socialism?
- 49:32Speaker 3: I love, I love how naive you are. You can't
- 49:35Speaker 3: argue with these people. They went to Columbia, they went here,
- 49:38Speaker 3: they went nothing. You say me, they've heard it all,
- 49:41Speaker 3: It doesn't it's it's it's it's not based on logic
- 49:44Speaker 3: or common sense. They just feel it. They just feel it.
- 49:47Speaker 3: You could show them you don't.
- 49:48Speaker 6: Think anybody's ever asked them that question?
- 49:50Speaker 3: No, I mean I think it's been asked him. I've
- 49:52Speaker 3: probably he's probably been asking him fifty thousand times in
- 49:54Speaker 3: interviews in various places. You could show him a graph,
- 49:58Speaker 3: a chart of every single time socialism has been used
- 50:01Speaker 3: anywhere in the world, and how a thousand percent of
- 50:05Speaker 3: the time total failure. They don't care. They couldn't care less.
- 50:08Speaker 3: That's why I keep telling you, don't argue with these people.
- 50:12Speaker 3: Just yes them to death and don't talk to them.
- 50:16Speaker 3: Let's go to Jim in Connecticut. Jim, how you doing good?
- 50:19Speaker 13: Mark?
- 50:20Speaker 6: How are you got a question?
- 50:21Speaker 15: Has anybody connected the dots between introduction of AI replacing
- 50:26Speaker 15: clerical and office staff and its future impact on office
- 50:30Speaker 15: commercial real estate?
- 50:32Speaker 3: Well, of course, and it's not just office staff. AI
- 50:35Speaker 3: is replacing executives, replacing all kinds of stuff. Obviously, it's
- 50:39Speaker 3: huge in you know, like an Amazon delivery situation. It's huge.
- 50:44Speaker 3: But you got to go through this every sometimes every
- 50:47Speaker 3: fifty years, every hundred years, every twenty you know, when
- 50:50Speaker 3: the Industrial Revolution came along. It put a lot of
- 50:54Speaker 3: America out of work and it takes five to ten
- 50:56Speaker 3: years for that to get fixed, for everybody to get
- 50:59Speaker 3: back into professions. And then late nineties when the computer
- 51:04Speaker 3: took over everything, a lot of people got put out
- 51:07Speaker 3: of work and it takes time for everything to catch up.
- 51:09Speaker 3: Let's go to Vincent and Brooklyn. Vincent, how you doing?
- 51:12Speaker 14: Good morning, Mark, I'm okay, Good morning, Matra Man Mondamie
- 51:17Speaker 14: is really a dog. He never misses an opportunity to
- 51:21Speaker 14: thrash our country, to trash our our traditions. I heard
- 51:25Speaker 14: Phil Donna Who's response to what Mayor Mondamie did at
- 51:30Speaker 14: the breakfast yesterday, and you'll notice, ma'y Mondami had the
- 51:35Speaker 14: former Irish president who is even more whacked out left
- 51:41Speaker 14: than Mondami is, whereas Trump at the White House had
- 51:46Speaker 14: the current president and they were talking about golf and everything.
- 51:50Speaker 14: Donald Trump has golf courses in Ireland, does it he?
- 51:52Speaker 3: Mark Yest?
- 51:55Speaker 14: Yeah, Well, I hope today Edd's Ramadan. I hope Bob
- 51:59Speaker 14: Mundamie's cooking the Gracie Mansion gets the auder wrong and
- 52:03Speaker 14: serves the pork chops and spare ribs. Tonight at a
- 52:08Speaker 14: to dinner. Mark with these speed cameras, when are they
- 52:12Speaker 14: going to be active from six o'clock in the morning
- 52:15Speaker 14: to four o'clock in the afternoon when school is open?
- 52:18Speaker 14: Are they going to be open? Are they going to
- 52:20Speaker 14: be on overnight? Are they going to be on when
- 52:23Speaker 14: there's a holidays? On weekends so they can make money
- 52:27Speaker 14: and screw the people? How's this gonna work? When are
- 52:30Speaker 14: they gonna be on?
- 52:31Speaker 3: You're right, it's supposed to be for school, but they'll
- 52:33Speaker 3: leave it on all night, well, well all the.
- 52:35Speaker 14: Time, and even on the way and what even during
- 52:37Speaker 14: the summer.
- 52:38Speaker 3: Yeah, it's terrible.
- 52:39Speaker 14: Mark. In Italy they have them all over the place
- 52:42Speaker 14: and a lot of people again court in these traps
- 52:46Speaker 14: and the interest keeps accruing. The other night on the news,
- 52:50Speaker 14: there was a poor guy from Staten Island. Maybe when
- 52:53Speaker 14: they put the tickets on his car, they blew away.
- 52:56Speaker 14: And I've seen them. You see tickets in the street,
- 52:58Speaker 14: kids take them off the car forum away. And this kid,
- 53:02Speaker 14: this guy accrued on a couple of tickets eight thousand
- 53:05Speaker 14: dollars in juice and interest, and and he was saying this,
- 53:11Speaker 14: how's he gonna pay it?
- 53:12Speaker 13: Now?
- 53:12Speaker 14: Where is at least on the crew way. There's a
- 53:15Speaker 14: cap of six hundred fourteen dollars if you.
- 53:18Speaker 3: Yeah, it's terrible, Vincent, We got to go for the news,
- 53:20Speaker 3: but great call. Thanks for calling. When we come back,
- 53:23Speaker 3: and Culter, the best selling author and columnist, will be
- 53:26Speaker 3: with us next on seven to ten wor welcome back.
- 53:30Speaker 1: To the Mark Simone Show seven WOI.

- 53:40Speaker 3: week at this time. You know you can follow her
- 53:42Speaker 3: on Twitter, great tweets and culture at Twitter, but even
- 53:45Speaker 3: better at substackcause you can watch her videos and her
- 53:48Speaker 3: interviews and her podcasts and get her column Let's just
- 53:51Speaker 3: go to Anculter dot substack dot com and Culter.
- 53:55Speaker 11: How you doing fantastic?
- 53:58Speaker 2: How are you, Marx Simone?
- 53:59Speaker 3: I'm good. Just getting breaking news now that there's been
- 54:02Speaker 3: a shake up at MSNBC. The lineup changing.
- 54:06Speaker 2: Goodness. I hope they're bringing Joyne Reid back.
- 54:09Speaker 3: Well, I don't know, but Morning Joe apparently is being
- 54:11Speaker 3: cut by an hour. It'll only be three hours instead
- 54:13Speaker 3: of four. I assume that comes with a pay cut
- 54:18Speaker 3: as well.
- 54:19Speaker 2: Oh, I think they're doing fine. It's always been amazing
- 54:23Speaker 2: to me. Why I'm sorry, is there more breaking news
- 54:25Speaker 2: about MSNBC.
- 54:28Speaker 3: Stephanie Rule will get an hour at nine am? No
- 54:32Speaker 3: joy read she's not coming back.
- 54:35Speaker 2: Okay, well, it doesn't interest me that I always found
- 54:39Speaker 2: it weird. No, Mika and Joe, I'm sure are doing fine.
- 54:45Speaker 2: I don't have to look up their salaries. But the
- 54:47Speaker 2: strange thing is these cable and regular TV they pay
- 54:51Speaker 2: hosts just astronomical salaries while sort of chancing on everybody else.
- 55:00Speaker 2: The producers, the bookers, the writers that make up people
- 55:04Speaker 2: know that they're they're minimum wage workers. When most every
- 55:10Speaker 2: single host on TV would pay to have that job.
- 55:14Speaker 2: You don't have to pay them at all. The millions
- 55:18Speaker 2: of dollars make them pay.
- 55:20Speaker 3: Well, that's true. Like you want to see real income
- 55:23Speaker 3: inequality a TV show Colbert twelve million a year, everybody
- 55:27Speaker 3: else a dollar fifty.
- 55:28Speaker 2: I mean it's just ridiculous, right, And I mean there's
- 55:31Speaker 2: so many You get so much money from being the
- 55:35Speaker 2: host of these shows for speeches and crascost written books,
- 55:42Speaker 2: and most of them don't care what they're saying and
- 55:45Speaker 2: they just want to be on TV.
- 55:47Speaker 3: Yeah, but can you call it MS now? I still
- 55:52Speaker 3: call it MSNBC. I can't get that out of my mouth.
- 55:54Speaker 3: Ms now, it just doesn't come out.
- 55:56Speaker 2: No, I know, MSNBC is a much better laugh line.
- 56:02Speaker 3: So, hey, the Save America Act? What for Chuck Schumer
- 56:08Speaker 3: and Blumenthal these guys to say it's suppression minority voters
- 56:13Speaker 3: they don't have they can't get a photo idea? Is
- 56:15Speaker 3: that the most racist thing any Democrats ever said?
- 56:18Speaker 2: Yes, yes, well, yes it is one of my friends.
- 56:25Speaker 2: His name eludes me right now, but he used to
- 56:27Speaker 2: see his videos all over as this argument, this is
- 56:31Speaker 2: a consistent argument of the left. If we stop voter fraud,
- 56:37Speaker 2: we won't be able. Minorities can't vote. So anyway, my
- 56:41Speaker 2: friend went up to you know, various black neighborhoods, and
- 56:45Speaker 2: who's just stopping interviewing black people on the street, asking them, hey,
- 56:50Speaker 2: do you have an id? Yes, I have an idea,
- 56:53Speaker 2: able to pull it out. If you didn't have an idea,
- 56:56Speaker 2: I d would you know where to get one?
- 56:58Speaker 8: Ye?
- 56:59Speaker 2: Right over there, And he asked them, do you think
- 57:04Speaker 2: it's a racist to say this? Yes? Yes, as a
- 57:06Speaker 2: matter of fact, they did, Mark Simone, but this is
- 57:10Speaker 2: this is such I mean, it seems just to a
- 57:15Speaker 2: normal person forget forget partisanship. Isn't it strange that that
- 57:21Speaker 2: the Democrats are so committed to giving felons the right
- 57:25Speaker 2: to vote, that's as part of villains hasn't been able
- 57:29Speaker 2: to vote in this country since, you know, colonial days,
- 57:33Speaker 2: for obvious reasons. Do we need to explain that Democrats?
- 57:39Speaker 2: And moreover, I was noticing recently, I don't know why
- 57:42Speaker 2: Republicans are defensive about this, this hysteria from from the
- 57:47Speaker 2: Democrats on a rumor. Who knows if it's true. I
- 57:52Speaker 2: hope it's true that they were going to be sending
- 57:54Speaker 2: immigration agents to polling places.
- 57:58Speaker 3: Yeah, why not?
- 58:01Speaker 2: Why is that a bad thing? So you want to
- 58:05Speaker 2: ensure that you're illegal can can vote illegally without without
- 58:09Speaker 2: being questioned.
- 58:11Speaker 3: Yeah, I would put a picture of Tom Holman right
- 58:14Speaker 3: at the entrance of every polling place.
- 58:16Speaker 2: And I know, I mean, I'm serious. I mean I
- 58:19Speaker 2: hope they do it.
- 58:20Speaker 3: Yeah. Absolutely, But aren't they kind of admitting there is
- 58:24Speaker 3: some voter fraud if they won't pass the Save Act?
- 58:27Speaker 2: Yes, yes, yes, yes, it's not going to be that
- 58:33Speaker 2: hard to They act like it's just I mean, I
- 58:36Speaker 2: think it is true, and I'm like, I have a
- 58:38Speaker 2: birth certificate but okay, you don't have everybody has some
- 58:44Speaker 2: form of body.
- 58:45Speaker 3: Do you have a driver's license? Don't you?
- 58:48Speaker 6: I do?
- 58:49Speaker 3: Well, that's all. They should need a driver's license, a real.
- 58:51Speaker 2: One, and there you and also all these states allow
- 58:55Speaker 2: allow all kinds of but there are some people who
- 58:57Speaker 2: don't drive. But there are other ways to identify yourself.
- 59:01Speaker 2: It's not it's really not that hard.
- 59:04Speaker 3: And you can't get into any office billion in Manhattan.
- 59:06Speaker 3: You can't go to MSNBC without a photo ID.
- 59:09Speaker 2: So uh obviously, to say nothing of flying where it's
- 59:14Speaker 2: actually quite absurd that this is what I you know,
- 59:18Speaker 2: most resent and terrorists for destroying, destroying commercial airflight in
- 59:26Speaker 2: America where TSA and test after tests after test. Now
- 59:29Speaker 2: they're refusing to release their tests. Eighty percent of fake
- 59:33Speaker 2: weapons get through TSA. Asians really but yeah, hey, they've
- 59:37Speaker 2: been doing this for years eight it's ridiculous they they
- 59:44Speaker 2: stop nothing. And the other I think crucial fact about
- 59:48Speaker 2: why we don't need the TSA. This is just stealing
- 59:52Speaker 2: multiple tens of millions of man hours where Americans could
- 59:56Speaker 2: be working. You know, we used to be a country
- 59:58Speaker 2: on the go. Now it's it's just bureaucrats slowing everything down,
- 1:00:05Speaker 2: allowing nothing to move forward. That's why some of my
- 1:00:09Speaker 2: friends from Silicon Valley have said that Silicon Valley was
- 1:00:13Speaker 2: so productive that Congress didn't understand what they were doing,
- 1:00:17Speaker 2: so they didn't put any regulations in. But the other
- 1:00:20Speaker 2: reason we don't well. One of the many reasons we
- 1:00:23Speaker 2: don't need TSA at all is I could be off
- 1:00:27Speaker 2: by a point or two, but something like eighty eight
- 1:00:30Speaker 2: percent of flyers on a daily basis belonged to some
- 1:00:34Speaker 2: frequent flyer program. So the airlines know who they are,
- 1:00:39Speaker 2: they've been flying with them for years. Let the airlines
- 1:00:44Speaker 2: do it. They don't want their planes going down, and
- 1:00:47Speaker 2: there hasn't. You can only pull okay. Third reason is
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: nine to eleven was a sucker punch. You could you
- 1:00:53Speaker 2: only fall for that once. I mean they couldn't even
- 1:00:55Speaker 2: get the fourth plane to accomplish its objective because once
- 1:01:01Speaker 2: people know that's what the trick is, and you're not
- 1:01:04Speaker 2: going to say fly us to Cuba or you know,
- 1:01:07Speaker 2: demand money and a getaway car. Nothing like that had
- 1:01:10Speaker 2: ever happened for now that we know what can happen.
- 1:01:13Speaker 2: You would have to have a majority the plane be terrorists,
- 1:01:16Speaker 2: and I think people would notice.
- 1:01:18Speaker 3: Absolutely. Yeah, no, it's just crazy. Hey, would you agree
- 1:01:22Speaker 3: this is the most useless Congress we have ever seen,
- 1:01:25Speaker 3: both sides of the aisle, just one useless character after another.
- 1:01:30Speaker 2: Yes, yes, yes. The one thing I will say in
- 1:01:34Speaker 2: defense of Republicans is not John Food. But it is
- 1:01:42Speaker 2: hard to get to get things through when you have
- 1:01:44Speaker 2: such a narrow majority. The month. My motto is there
- 1:01:48Speaker 2: are a lot of a lot of bad Republicans. There
- 1:01:50Speaker 2: are no good Democrats, so you know you're always going
- 1:01:54Speaker 2: to have that narrow majority. Just means it's very hard
- 1:01:58Speaker 2: to get to get anything through, which is why we really,
- 1:02:02Speaker 2: I mean, the entire Republican Party should be focused like
- 1:02:04Speaker 2: a laser beam, not only on the Save acts. I
- 1:02:06Speaker 2: mean that's only part of it. Something I've mentioned to
- 1:02:09Speaker 2: you before and I will mention again. Red states are
- 1:02:12Speaker 2: owed at least a dozen extra in in red areas
- 1:02:18Speaker 2: congressional seats because of mistakes in the census that were
- 1:02:22Speaker 2: discovered during the Biden administration. Every year after the or
- 1:02:27Speaker 2: every census year after the census is taken, the census
- 1:02:30Speaker 2: then goes through and checks to see, you know, how
- 1:02:34Speaker 2: accurate it was. Well, the twenty twenty census was highly inaccurate,
- 1:02:40Speaker 2: and all these blue states were given congressional seats that
- 1:02:45Speaker 2: they should not have based on the Senate and Red
- 1:02:48Speaker 2: states were deprived of how seats they should have based
- 1:02:52Speaker 2: on the faulty census. I don't know why the governors
- 1:02:56Speaker 2: of red states aren't suing to demand their extra congressional seats.
- 1:03:00Speaker 3: Good point, you got to do. That should be a
- 1:03:01Speaker 3: column that should be pushed by everybody.
- 1:03:05Speaker 14: I know I keep.
- 1:03:05Speaker 2: Prattling about it but never going down and writing about it.
- 1:03:09Speaker 2: But I mean, whatever the law is for correcting this. Boy,
- 1:03:12Speaker 2: talk about talk about democracy, caring about democracy. This is
- 1:03:17Speaker 2: how democracy is supposed to work. You're the number of
- 1:03:21Speaker 2: House seats is based on population of the state. And
- 1:03:25Speaker 2: if the populations of the state or we there were
- 1:03:28Speaker 2: I think about eight states on each side either got
- 1:03:30Speaker 2: too many seat seats in the House or got too
- 1:03:33Speaker 2: few seats in the House. And of the I don't
- 1:03:36Speaker 2: know eight or ten on on the ones who were
- 1:03:38Speaker 2: deprived of seas all but one were Red stacks.
- 1:03:42Speaker 3: Wow.
- 1:03:43Speaker 2: And the states that got extra seats all but one
- 1:03:46Speaker 2: were Democrats states.
- 1:03:47Speaker 3: All right, Well, let's get on this and take care
- 1:03:49Speaker 3: of that and culture great stuff. Make sure you follow
