- 0:57Speaker 2: Heather MacDonald. Juicy Scoop. Hello, and welcome to Juicy Scoop.
- 1:03Speaker 2: We have your favorite, my favorite, Chris Fangiola. We have
- 1:07Speaker 2: so much to discuss.
- 1:08Speaker 3: I know, and I'm trying to have a real conversation
- 1:11Speaker 3: with you.
- 1:11Speaker 2: Yes.
- 1:12Speaker 3: Like we're actual friends, and you keep telling me to
- 1:14Speaker 3: stop talking, save it for the podcast.
- 1:16Speaker 2: Save it for the pod. We have so many juicy
- 1:18Speaker 2: things to talk about. I did some hate watching. We're
- 1:20Speaker 2: going to talk about the Super Bowl, about our own
- 1:23Speaker 2: juicy lives. So you started to tell me about your weekend,
- 1:26Speaker 2: and I said, save it for the pod, which by
- 1:28Speaker 2: the way, save it for the pod. T-shirts are now available,
- 1:31Speaker 2: aren't they, Annie?
- 1:32Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:33Speaker 2: They are available. Is it really?
- 1:34Speaker 3: You have to save it for the pod?
- 1:35Speaker 2: Oh, that's perfect. HeatherMcDowland.net, save it for the pod with
- 1:38Speaker 2: a little Juicy Scoop. So whether you have a podcast
- 1:41Speaker 2: or not, which everybody does, you can also wear it
- 1:43Speaker 2: for yourself. It's not so specific to Juicy Scoop.
- 1:47Speaker 3: That's a great idea.
- 1:48Speaker 2: Right now I'm wearing a shirt, though, that says, I
- 1:51Speaker 2: got pregnant, the Juicy Scoop method.
- 1:53Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:53Speaker 2: And this girl, Ashley, congrats, sent it to me. I
- 1:56Speaker 2: just found out I'm pregnant thanks to the Juicy Scoop method.
- 1:59Speaker 2: Heather knows what she's talking about.
- 2:02Speaker 3: Ashley Courtney. Ashley Courtney. Clear blue. Okay. That's how you
- 2:05Speaker 3: still do it?
- 2:05Speaker 2: I like a clear blue because it's pregnant.
- 2:07Speaker 3: Okay.
- 2:08Speaker 2: It says pregnant. I want to just tell people, obviously
- 2:11Speaker 2: Rihanna used my method too.
- 2:12Speaker 3: Yes.
- 2:13Speaker 2: ASAP Rocky. But before we get into all that, let
- 2:17Speaker 2: me tell you what the method is.
- 2:18Speaker 3: Is it ASAP Rocky? That's how you pronounce that? ASAP Rocky?
- 2:21Speaker 2: No, I'm probably wrong.
- 2:22Speaker 3: It's not as soon as possible Rocky. No, I was kidding.
- 2:27Speaker 3: But no, it's not because that's what it stands for, right?
- 2:29Speaker 2: Hi. As soon as possible.
- 2:31Speaker 3: Rocky. Like if you ever got pulled over by the police,
- 2:33Speaker 3: you have to say his real name. As soon as possible, Rocky. Okay.
- 2:38Speaker 2: Well, let me tell you what the method is because
- 2:40Speaker 2: I've said it a million times. And it worked for
- 2:44Speaker 2: me for my second baby. A lot of people do
- 2:47Speaker 2: all the ovulation tests and everything. And I think sometimes
- 2:51Speaker 2: it just is a little too in someone's head. So
- 2:54Speaker 2: if you're having trouble getting pregnant, the thing to do,
- 2:57Speaker 2: just try this for like a couple months or two.
- 2:59Speaker 2: People are going to get mad at me. It doesn't work. Listen,
- 3:03Speaker 2: my method doesn't hurt anybody.
- 3:04Speaker 3: Okay.
- 3:05Speaker 2: It doesn't hurt anybody. It doesn't cost any money. Right.
- 3:08Speaker 2: When your period has concluded, okay, you start boning the
- 3:14Speaker 2: man that you want to have a baby with.
- 3:15Speaker 3: Okay.
- 3:16Speaker 2: As soon as possible, Rocky or whoever you find. And
- 3:21Speaker 2: every other day, For at least 10, but if you
- 3:24Speaker 2: want to knock it out of the park, 14 days.
- 3:27Speaker 3: Okay.
- 3:28Speaker 2: Not every day. Every other day. Time of day doesn't matter.
- 3:32Speaker 2: Every other day.
- 3:33Speaker 3: And that is as soon the day or period?
- 3:35Speaker 2: The period is done.
- 3:37Speaker 3: Okay.
- 3:37Speaker 2: Okay. Period's done. Take out your tampon, take a shower.
- 3:41Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 3:41Speaker 3: Whatever.
- 3:42Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 3:42Speaker 3: Put a towel down.
- 3:44Speaker 2: No, you won't need a towel down. God, you're such
- 3:46Speaker 2: a dude.
- 3:46Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 3:47Speaker 2: Anyway, every other day. Okay. Okay. Because it's going to
- 3:51Speaker 2: take the stuff out of your brain about it.
- 3:54Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 3:55Speaker 2: It's a nice schedule. It's not overwhelming for the husband
- 3:58Speaker 2: or boyfriend. It builds up some good sperm.
- 4:02Speaker 3: Does it? All right. That's good.
- 4:03Speaker 2: You're not supposed to do it every day.
- 4:04Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 4:05Speaker 2: Okay. You know, and all the other things that you
- 4:09Speaker 2: want to do, have your husband not smoke pot or
- 4:11Speaker 2: take too hot of a jacuzzi, probably a wise choice,
- 4:13Speaker 2: but I'm not getting into that. My method is this,
- 4:16Speaker 2: and I have hundreds, and I'm not exaggerating. Hundreds of
- 4:20Speaker 2: Juicy Scoopers who have come up to me and written
- 4:23Speaker 2: me and said that once they did this, they actually
- 4:28Speaker 2: got pregnant.
- 4:29Speaker 3: All right.
- 4:30Speaker 2: So there you go.
- 4:30Speaker 3: That works. That's a good tip.
- 4:34Speaker 2: I want to get into our weekends. I'll say go first.
- 4:37Speaker 3: Go ahead.
- 4:38Speaker 2: Raven had her first modeling shoot.
- 4:40Speaker 3: Raven? My dog.
- 4:43Speaker 2: I was asked to do... A celebrity dog photo shoot
- 4:47Speaker 2: for a coffee table book that's in the works.
- 4:50Speaker 3: Okay.
- 4:51Speaker 2: And anyway, she was very good. Really? Yeah.
- 4:56Speaker 3: So it's you and the dog together.
- 4:58Speaker 2: It's me and the dog, yes. And she looked great
- 5:02Speaker 2: and she was good. So that was our exciting day.
- 5:05Speaker 3: Can I ask you what I'm supposed to do with
- 5:07Speaker 3: a coffee table book? Am I supposed to?
- 5:09Speaker 2: Actually look at it?
- 5:10Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 5:10Speaker 3: Because nobody really does, right? I have several in my house.
- 5:15Speaker 2: Listen, everybody has that black and white Tom Ford book.
- 5:17Speaker 3: The Tom Ford one.
- 5:18Speaker 2: My God. Every stager.
- 5:19Speaker 3: There's a Beatles one that everybody has.
- 5:21Speaker 2: Everybody has. Yeah. I actually, you know what I do
- 5:24Speaker 2: look at it is when I'm at an Airbnb. Oh.
- 5:26Speaker 2: I always start looking at those when I'm at an Airbnb.
- 5:29Speaker 4: Okay.
- 5:29Speaker 2: Because I'm like, that's kind of fun. It's like a
- 5:31Speaker 2: Palm Springs or whatever. I want to get into your weekend. Okay.
- 5:35Speaker 2: Because you had a stand-up career move.
- 5:39Speaker 3: It was during the week. It was a Wednesday night.
- 5:41Speaker 2: Okay. Tell me what happened. Take a deep breath. this
- 5:45Speaker 2: is a therapy moment for a comedian.
- 5:48Speaker 3: It really is a therapy moment because it ends in
- 5:50Speaker 3: a real therapy moment anyway as you know as a
- 5:54Speaker 3: comedian and myself and most comedians will know you sometimes
- 5:57Speaker 3: get hired to do things called corporate gigs yes big
- 6:02Speaker 3: corporations will hire you to come and do comedy at
- 6:05Speaker 3: their convention or whatever right never a good idea never
- 6:09Speaker 3: I don't think it's ever been a good idea in
- 6:11Speaker 3: the history of comedy ever But this person wrote me,
- 6:15Speaker 3: emailed me and said, would you be interested in doing this?
- 6:17Speaker 3: And they gave me the price. And I was like,
- 6:19Speaker 3: that's a great price for a Wednesday to fly to
- 6:21Speaker 3: Houston and do it.
- 6:23Speaker 2: Great.
- 6:24Speaker 3: And I did it.
- 6:24Speaker 2: I was a little jealous, I'll be honest. Yes. But
- 6:27Speaker 2: then I thought, oh.
- 6:27Speaker 3: Well, now you don't have to be.
- 6:28Speaker 2: But then I saw that the audience was like all
- 6:31Speaker 2: male in the construction business.
- 6:34Speaker 3: Construction business, yeah. So I'm like. 2,000 of them.
- 6:36Speaker 2: And I'm like, Chris is a good choice for that.
- 6:39Speaker 2: Heather McDowell would not be. Okay, go ahead. Yeah.
- 6:42Speaker 3: Well, and then it was a band coming on afterwards. Now,
- 6:44Speaker 3: let me just say this to all corporations out there. Yes.
- 6:47Speaker 3: Hire the band. Just the band. Just the band. I
- 6:51Speaker 3: don't want to take money out of any of my
- 6:52Speaker 3: comedian brothers' pockets.
- 6:54Speaker 2: Well, you are, though, right now.
- 6:55Speaker 3: But don't hire comedians. I know you think you like comedy.
- 7:00Speaker 3: I know you think you want comedy. You don't want comedy.
- 7:04Speaker 2: Okay, I'm going to go in and say, if you'd
- 7:06Speaker 2: like to hire me for something that is very, like
- 7:10Speaker 2: if you have a ton of like female, it's beauty,
- 7:15Speaker 2: it's a weekend, it's something like that. But when you
- 7:18Speaker 2: do book the comedian, it has to be like they
- 7:21Speaker 2: know that that's what's happening.
- 7:22Speaker 4: Right, right.
- 7:23Speaker 2: It's got to be– if it's like a TED Talk
- 7:25Speaker 2: thing and then part of it is I come in
- 7:27Speaker 2: the middle of the inspirational people and I just make
- 7:30Speaker 2: them laugh. Yeah. And they're already sitting and paying attention
- 7:33Speaker 2: to a speaker, then I think it's great.
- 7:35Speaker 3: Right.
- 7:35Speaker 2: It seems like your situation was the complete opposite of that.
- 7:38Speaker 3: The complete opposite.
- 7:39Speaker 2: Okay. Go ahead.
- 7:41Speaker 3: Well, first of all, they told me to go do
- 7:42Speaker 3: sound check. So I landed at like 3 o'clock in Houston.
- 7:46Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 7:46Speaker 3: And then I walked to the venue.
- 7:48Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 7:48Speaker 3: Which I got bum information from the hotel lobby. They're like, oh,
- 7:52Speaker 3: it's right down the street. And of course, three miles
- 7:55Speaker 3: later in the pouring rain, I'm like, where is it?
- 7:57Speaker 2: Really?
- 7:57Speaker 3: Oh my God. It was pouring rain on me. And
- 8:00Speaker 3: I get there and they hand me the check right away,
- 8:04Speaker 3: which is the greatest thing ever. You're like, this is
- 8:07Speaker 3: three o'clock in the afternoon. I don't have to do it.
- 8:09Speaker 3: So anyway, the check, I'm already done.
- 8:11Speaker 2: Okay.
- 8:13Speaker 3: Now I get there. And it's a giant venue. It's
- 8:15Speaker 3: a giant outdoor. Echoey. No seats. No seats. People standing.
- 8:20Speaker 2: So it's a comedy concert, like with Che Diaz.
- 8:23Speaker 3: It is a 100% comedy concert.
- 8:25Speaker 2: Anyway. Yeah.
- 8:28Speaker 3: I go on at 6 p.m. 6 p.m.
- 8:30Speaker 2: Also, awful time for stand-up.
- 8:32Speaker 3: And they give me the list of the itinerary, what's
- 8:35Speaker 3: going to happen to see me. Buffet at 6 p.m. Comedian,
- 8:39Speaker 3: 6 p.m. I'm like, oh, so they're putting the buffet
- 8:41Speaker 3: and the comedian on at the same time. I'm like, yes.
- 8:43Speaker 3: Nobody cares about me. Nobody knows who I am. Nobody
- 8:46Speaker 3: knows Juicy Scoop. Nobody knows Cover to Cover. Nobody knows
- 8:48Speaker 3: Chelsea Lately. Anything. Nobody knows. Nobody cares. Nobody knows. So...
- 8:54Speaker 3: All of that's just awful. It's all just very humbling,
- 8:57Speaker 3: the whole thing.
- 8:58Speaker 2: But you're just rubbing the check. You're just rubbing the check.
- 9:00Speaker 2: You're just rubbing it against your groin going, it's okay.
- 9:03Speaker 2: It's okay. Take a deep breath.
- 9:05Speaker 3: Yes, all of that. I wish I was one of
- 9:07Speaker 3: those people who could just take the money and run.
- 9:09Speaker 3: I'm not that good at it.
- 9:11Speaker 2: I'm not either because when people go, comedy must be
- 9:15Speaker 2: the hardest thing in the world. I can't imagine standing
- 9:17Speaker 2: up there when nobody laughs. Yeah, it doesn't matter how
- 9:20Speaker 2: successful and rich you are. When you're in it, when
- 9:22Speaker 2: you're experiencing the bombing or no one paying attention or
- 9:26Speaker 2: all talking while you're on the stage, all the money
- 9:28Speaker 2: in the world can't take the feeling that you get
- 9:31Speaker 2: in your heart and your head.
- 9:32Speaker 3: And no matter how big the check is, no matter
- 9:34Speaker 3: how big it is, it just didn't. So that's what happened.
- 9:37Speaker 3: So then it couldn't be louder. They served the buffet.
- 9:40Speaker 3: It's all people talking about whatever. They're like construction workers.
- 9:43Speaker 2: Yeah, they're tired of their work.
- 9:44Speaker 3: And whatever. And they don't want to be, they just
- 9:46Speaker 3: want to have a couple of drinks and go back
- 9:48Speaker 3: to the hotels for a convention. And it's very loud.
- 9:53Speaker 3: And I say, is anyone going to stop the music
- 9:56Speaker 3: or the talking and say I'm coming on? And they're like, no.
- 10:00Speaker 3: Just walk on stage and say what you do. Do
- 10:04Speaker 3: your gig or whatever they tell you.
- 10:07Speaker 2: And they wanted you to roast people.
- 10:08Speaker 3: So then one guy who I guess hired me or
- 10:10Speaker 3: works for the company goes, and do some roasting. These
- 10:12Speaker 3: guys want to be roasted. So I'm like, oh, okay.
- 10:15Speaker 4: Okay.
- 10:16Speaker 2: But did they want you to– I don't know. I
- 10:19Speaker 2: once did a gig like this too. Yeah. And they
- 10:23Speaker 2: said they really, really roast these– they really are waiting
- 10:27Speaker 2: to be roasted. And I'm like, okay, but I don't
- 10:29Speaker 2: know what Carol in accounting– Exactly. wears on a tuesday
- 10:34Speaker 2: and what her cupcakes taste like like how am i
- 10:37Speaker 2: gonna know that they almost like think that's what i
- 10:40Speaker 2: get what.
- 10:40Speaker 3: You're gonna do i think yes right and i'm like.
- 10:43Speaker 2: But i like if that's the case which i do
- 10:46Speaker 2: think sometimes people want and it could be amazing that's
- 10:50Speaker 2: gonna cost you a whole that's gonna be a week
- 10:53Speaker 2: worth of comedy writers getting information and coming up with
- 10:56Speaker 2: stuff like this is that's too specific.
- 10:58Speaker 3: And there was also too many people to like Like,
- 11:01Speaker 3: this place was so gigantic. The person in the back,
- 11:04Speaker 3: I'm roasting one guy up front. They're like, who's he
- 11:05Speaker 3: even talking about?
- 11:06Speaker 2: Right, right, exactly.
- 11:08Speaker 3: I can't see that person.
- 11:09Speaker 2: Yeah, crowd work doesn't work for 2,000 people.
- 11:10Speaker 3: So I get up there and I'm like, good evening, everybody.
- 11:13Speaker 3: Zero reaction. Like, not even one person turned around.
- 11:16Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 11:16Speaker 3: Nobody. And they're just eating. And I don't think they
- 11:19Speaker 3: can even hear me. It's so loud of just, you know, talking.
- 11:24Speaker 3: It would be like a kid who, like, at a party,
- 11:25Speaker 3: all of a sudden you get up there and just
- 11:26Speaker 3: decide to go, here comes comedy, just out of nowhere.
- 11:29Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah.
- 11:31Speaker 3: And so it's already like so awful. I'm just like,
- 11:33Speaker 3: this is the worst thing I've ever done in my life.
- 11:35Speaker 3: And I got to do a half hour and I
- 11:36Speaker 3: look at my watch and I'm like five minutes in
- 11:39Speaker 3: and it's just nothing. Then one lone weirdo, who I
- 11:43Speaker 3: guess also just walks. It has no seats. So he
- 11:47Speaker 3: just like walks like right to the front of the stage.
- 11:48Speaker 3: He's just staring at me, like listening, like a good person.
- 11:53Speaker 2: Or someone on the spectrum.
- 11:55Speaker 3: I think it was more of that. So all of
- 11:57Speaker 3: a sudden I start roasting him. I'm like, he's the
- 11:59Speaker 3: only one here.
- 11:59Speaker 2: Here it goes.
- 12:00Speaker 3: I don't even know who this guy is. And I
- 12:02Speaker 3: start saying things like that. This idiot's coming over here.
- 12:05Speaker 3: And I don't know if he's the CEO or something,
- 12:08Speaker 3: but whatever. So I get off the stage.
- 12:10Speaker 2: Or just had no friends.
- 12:11Speaker 3: And the guy goes, I said, I could tell it
- 12:14Speaker 3: was going badly. I could just tell.
- 12:16Speaker 2: And you did glance at your watch at this point?
- 12:18Speaker 3: Oh my God, for a few times.
- 12:19Speaker 2: And how much time were you committed to doing?
- 12:21Speaker 3: A half hour. Then at like 20, and a band
- 12:24Speaker 3: was coming on after me.
- 12:25Speaker 2: When you glance at your watch for the first time,
- 12:27Speaker 2: where were you at? How many minutes in?
- 12:29Speaker 3: 10. And I would, and it was, I had no,
- 12:32Speaker 3: at this point I'm like, should I just start a story?
- 12:35Speaker 3: Like that nobody would listen to it. Like nobody's listening.
- 12:37Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 12:38Speaker 3: So now I'm just kind of riffing off the crowd,
- 12:40Speaker 3: which there's nobody listening into that either, except for the
- 12:42Speaker 3: one idiot up front. And- And then the guy who
- 12:46Speaker 3: hires me, I see him on the side of the stage,
- 12:48Speaker 3: like doing this, like at like 20 minutes. He's like,
- 12:51Speaker 3: you know, and I was like, I'm sorry, what? I'm done?
- 12:55Speaker 3: And he's like, I said, I'm just getting warmed up.
- 12:59Speaker 3: And then like, it was like a couple of claps
- 13:00Speaker 3: in the audience. Like, oh, then all of a sudden,
- 13:03Speaker 3: like a performer in me came in and I'm like, applause.
- 13:07Speaker 3: It was like three people. Just like, I guess. So
- 13:10Speaker 3: then I'm like, oh, let me go longer.
- 13:12Speaker 2: You know?
- 13:14Speaker 3: I could have walked off right then. Why didn't you?
- 13:16Speaker 2: Why didn't you save yourself?
- 13:17Speaker 3: I heard one person applaud and I'm like, here they come.
- 13:21Speaker 3: They want more.
- 13:22Speaker 2: We're such sick, dysfunctional. We are the bottom of the artists.
- 13:29Speaker 2: When you think of artists and the art form, stand-up
- 13:31Speaker 2: comedians are the worst.
- 13:33Speaker 3: The worst. I had the check. I could have just
- 13:36Speaker 3: walked off and went to the hotel. I would have
- 13:38Speaker 3: been in the hotel by 7 o'clock, 7 p.m.
- 13:40Speaker 2: Taken a shower in bed.
- 13:41Speaker 3: And flown back the next day.
- 13:43Speaker 2: Hit under the covers.
- 13:44Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 13:44Speaker 3: And they hired me for two. Let me just say
- 13:46Speaker 3: that in advance. They hired me for this, the one
- 13:48Speaker 3: I did, and one in two weeks.
- 13:50Speaker 2: Okay.
- 13:50Speaker 3: That was what they hired me for. Okay. So anyway,
- 13:53Speaker 3: the guy's doing all this and I go on for
- 13:55Speaker 3: 10 more minutes. I do my half hour and the
- 13:57Speaker 3: guy's dying in the corner. Like, oh my. I guess
- 13:59Speaker 3: somebody told him, get this fucking guy off the stage.
- 14:02Speaker 2: Or you're fired.
- 14:03Speaker 3: Yeah, more or less. I think that's what happened. God.
- 14:06Speaker 3: So then I get off the stage and I'm like,
- 14:07Speaker 3: how was it? And the guy's like, eh, fine. But
- 14:11Speaker 3: he just like running around. Like I could tell he
- 14:14Speaker 3: was putting out fires on his phone. And I knew
- 14:17Speaker 3: it was bad. So I walked back to my hotel.
- 14:20Speaker 2: In the rain.
- 14:20Speaker 3: In the rain. And I'm just like, it's the whole
- 14:22Speaker 3: thing is just awful. And I'm just like, just get
- 14:25Speaker 3: on the flight tomorrow and go home.
- 14:27Speaker 2: And then the guy was- Just when you thought you
- 14:28Speaker 2: beat it. You have an experience like this that brings
- 14:31Speaker 2: you out and said, you are a stand-up comedian. You
- 14:34Speaker 2: are the bottom of the pyramid of entertainers.
- 14:38Speaker 3: I swear I could never get to, like, another level.
- 14:41Speaker 3: Every time I get to, like, it starts to look good,
- 14:44Speaker 3: some shit like this happens.
- 14:45Speaker 2: Every now and then.
- 14:46Speaker 3: Exactly. Where you're just, like, humbled back down to... I
- 14:50Speaker 3: got off. I was under the impression because I'm, you know,
- 14:52Speaker 3: I'm out of my mind. I was under the impression
- 14:54Speaker 3: that I'm going to get off the stage and 2,000
- 14:55Speaker 3: people were like, amazing. What a performance. Nobody knew who
- 14:59Speaker 3: I was. I'm standing there for a minute just to wait.
- 15:02Speaker 3: Somebody might come up to me and go, thanks a lot. Nobody.
- 15:04Speaker 3: I was like, I should just leave. Like, this is bad.
- 15:07Speaker 4: Okay.
- 15:07Speaker 2: So then what happened?
- 15:09Speaker 3: Then I'm driving to another gig.
- 15:11Speaker 2: Okay.
- 15:12Speaker 3: This week, Friday night out in Bakersfield. And I get.
- 15:16Speaker 2: At a normal comedy club.
- 15:17Speaker 3: A normal comedy club. I get a text from. from
- 15:19Speaker 3: the guy who booked me says, Hey, can you talk
- 15:21Speaker 3: a minute? Which is the worst text you could possibly
- 15:24Speaker 3: get for anything.
- 15:25Speaker 2: Anything that's anybody that you have a text relationship and
- 15:29Speaker 2: then they call you. It's bad.
- 15:31Speaker 3: Yeah, exactly.
- 15:32Speaker 2: It's bad.
- 15:32Speaker 3: It's bad.
- 15:33Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 15:34Speaker 3: So I, I, I, I've called him back immediately knowing
- 15:37Speaker 3: what it was going to be. You know, I had,
- 15:38Speaker 3: like I said, I have another one coming up and
- 15:40Speaker 3: I said, uh, what's up? He goes, Hey man, what
- 15:43Speaker 3: happened on Wednesday? Already, like that's the opening line.
- 15:46Speaker 2: Putting it on you.
- 15:47Speaker 3: Yeah, like what happened on Wednesday? I was like, what
- 15:49Speaker 3: do you mean? He goes, they said you were roasting
- 15:53Speaker 3: the wrong people. And I said, and he goes, why
- 15:58Speaker 3: were you roasting? And I said, they told me to roast.
- 16:02Speaker 3: The guy literally told me. Here's what the guy told me.
- 16:04Speaker 3: He said, he goes, I love the roasting. And he goes,
- 16:07Speaker 3: and then after I got off, the same guy told
- 16:09Speaker 3: me to roast. I didn't even know if he was
- 16:10Speaker 3: involved in the company. He was just like, I love roasting.
- 16:15Speaker 3: But he goes, can you give me an email address?
- 16:18Speaker 3: I want to email you more roast topics for when
- 16:21Speaker 3: you come back in two weeks. So I'm like, oh,
- 16:23Speaker 3: this is great. But I think this guy wasn't even
- 16:25Speaker 3: part of the company. So the guy's like, why were
- 16:30Speaker 3: you roasting? And I'm like, they told me to roast.
- 16:33Speaker 3: And nobody was listening. He goes, well, you roasted the
- 16:36Speaker 3: wrong people. I'm like, I don't know who I was roasting.
- 16:39Speaker 3: It was 2,000 guys in Patagonia vests. Like, they all
- 16:42Speaker 3: looked the same. White guys with, you know, dockers and
- 16:45Speaker 3: Patagonia vests. That's, that was, and that's kind of what
- 16:48Speaker 3: I said. Like, I wasn't roasting like, your wife's a
- 16:50Speaker 3: fat whore. Nothing like that.
- 16:51Speaker 2: You know what I mean?
- 16:53Speaker 3: Yeah, exactly. It was nothing horrible, you know? So anyway,
- 16:58Speaker 3: and then he said some, you know, some other things
- 17:00Speaker 3: that they were not, they were not very happy. And
- 17:02Speaker 3: I think, I honestly can't believe they were even unhappy.
- 17:05Speaker 3: I didn't think they were even listening. I didn't think
- 17:07Speaker 3: they listened enough to be unhappy. So I said, I
- 17:11Speaker 3: assume I'm not doing the next one. He goes, no.
- 17:13Speaker 3: Like they want their money back on the first one.
- 17:16Speaker 3: He goes, you cash the check, right? I'm like, fuck yeah,
- 17:18Speaker 3: I cash the check. Like it's cashed.
- 17:21Speaker 2: I had a situation like that.
- 17:22Speaker 3: Let me hear it. Just to make me feel better.
- 17:24Speaker 2: I had two. One was they offered me so much
- 17:29Speaker 2: money to do this thing in Vegas. This was like,
- 17:32Speaker 2: I don't know, eight years ago. Yeah. And then they
- 17:35Speaker 2: came back and they're like, we don't have as much
- 17:37Speaker 2: money in the budget.
- 17:38Speaker 3: This is what happened, I think, with this one.
- 17:39Speaker 2: But it was still so much money. Yeah. So I
- 17:41Speaker 2: was like, okay. But they do the roasting thing. But again,
- 17:47Speaker 2: it was a thing in Vegas with huge ceilings and
- 17:50Speaker 2: people at big round tables eating very far from the stage.
- 17:54Speaker 2: I did my best.
- 17:56Speaker 3: Right.
- 17:56Speaker 2: And I think I had to also introduce people, which
- 17:59Speaker 2: you know how scary that is for me because I
- 18:01Speaker 2: mispronounce everyone's names. So it's like, that is more stressful
- 18:04Speaker 2: for me than anything. But they were like, do some impressions.
- 18:09Speaker 2: And no one knew what I was doing. All my
- 18:11Speaker 2: faces and stuff. They can't see my face or see
- 18:15Speaker 2: my screen. Right. And they, too, were like, we're fine.
- 18:19Speaker 2: You don't have to do any more. Just introduce. Because
- 18:21Speaker 2: I was going to do, like, some time. Introduce somebody.
- 18:23Speaker 2: Then do more time. And they're like, you don't have
- 18:24Speaker 2: to do any more time.
- 18:25Speaker 3: In between the events. Yeah.
- 18:27Speaker 2: So then.
- 18:30Speaker 2: I was like, well, God.
- 18:30Speaker 3: That's already a bad sign, right?
- 18:32Speaker 2: God, I barely did any time. Like, I'm definitely going
- 18:35Speaker 2: to hang around the party after, which is a disco theme. Because, like,
- 18:39Speaker 2: I want that. I mean, certainly people want to take
- 18:41Speaker 2: photos with me. I want them to get their money worth.
- 18:45Speaker 2: Nobody came up to me wanting to take photos with me. Nothing.
- 18:48Speaker 2: So there was that. Then there was this other one that, like,
- 18:51Speaker 2: was filmed in, like, just a few markets. Some weird
- 18:55Speaker 2: charity thing. And I was hosting it. And... Um, it
- 18:59Speaker 2: really wasn't for that much money, but whatever. I was
- 19:02Speaker 2: happy to do it. And they doubled my pay. They
- 19:05Speaker 2: gave me my check and it was doubled. Right. And
- 19:07Speaker 2: so I immediately was like, oh my God, I think
- 19:11Speaker 2: maybe I misunderstood or they misunderstood, but who cares? It was,
- 19:14Speaker 2: it was again, an awful experience. Very disorganized. No one
- 19:17Speaker 2: cared about me. Nobody listened. I'm like, Peter, the minute
- 19:22Speaker 2: I get off the plane, we got to go to
- 19:24Speaker 2: the bank. Yeah. They made a mistake. Yeah.
- 19:27Speaker 3: And I need to stop payment on this.
- 19:29Speaker 2: I mean, I immediately, this was so long ago. I
- 19:30Speaker 2: immediately was like, oh my God, this is going to
- 19:33Speaker 2: pay for next semester of, you know, private school. Like
- 19:35Speaker 2: I was just really like, we have to get to
- 19:37Speaker 2: the bank. Right. By the time, right as I landed,
- 19:42Speaker 2: Peter's like, they already canceled the check.
- 19:44Speaker 3: No.
- 19:45Speaker 2: They already canceled the check because they said they made
- 19:47Speaker 2: a mistake. It took us. at least two months of
- 19:52Speaker 2: fighting with the person who originally hired me and everything
- 19:55Speaker 2: to get the initial payment.
- 19:57Speaker 3: Really?
- 19:58Speaker 2: Yes.
- 19:59Speaker 3: Wow. So that's almost worse than mine.
- 20:02Speaker 2: Oh, yeah.
- 20:02Speaker 3: Mine is way worse. They canceled the check. At least
- 20:06Speaker 3: they didn't cancel my, they didn't pay.
- 20:07Speaker 2: And I remember thinking, when even when I did that,
- 20:10Speaker 2: I was like, should I go to like the bank
- 20:13Speaker 2: before I get on the plane? Yeah. And I was like, no,
- 20:15Speaker 2: it'll be all right. No, go to the bank, people.
- 20:20Speaker 2: Go to the bank. You should have gone to the bank.
- 20:22Speaker 3: Even after Houston. Well, I'll say this for both of us.
- 20:26Speaker 3: My friend is in corporate events. He like, and I
- 20:29Speaker 3: talked to him about it. And he's like, let me
- 20:31Speaker 3: make you feel better about this. This happens to every
- 20:33Speaker 3: corporate event. They get the bill on Monday, you know,
- 20:36Speaker 3: because it was on two, whatever the guy called me.
- 20:39Speaker 3: It was like two days later. But back to like
- 20:41Speaker 3: a weekday.
- 20:41Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 20:42Speaker 3: And he goes, that's when they get the bill. They're
- 20:44Speaker 3: counting people, whatever. And they're like, whoa, whoa. What is this? Like,
- 20:49Speaker 3: you paid that comedian who was suffering up there for $ 10, 000,
- 20:53Speaker 3: whatever the price was?
- 20:53Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 20:54Speaker 3: And he's like, no, get that check back. And they try.
- 20:57Speaker 3: He goes, they try it with everything. The sandwiches weren't
- 20:59Speaker 3: good to the caterer. They try and cut corners after.
- 21:02Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 21:02Speaker 3: Always.
- 21:03Speaker 2: Well, that's how Peter got fired is when he ordered
- 21:05Speaker 2: the seafood tower at a corporate Christmas party, which is
- 21:08Speaker 2: why I tell people all the time, your boss is
- 21:11Speaker 2: taking you out. Don't ever order the seafood tower.
- 21:15Speaker 4: Nope.
- 21:15Speaker 2: Never. Exactly what happened was after the big event was
- 21:19Speaker 2: that weekend.
- 21:20Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 21:20Speaker 2: The following, like Tuesday.
- 21:23Speaker 3: They got the bill.
- 21:24Speaker 2: He got to think, hey, can you meet me Friday
- 21:27Speaker 2: and bring your van with all the medical equipment?
- 21:30Speaker 3: Oh, my God.
- 21:31Speaker 2: I got to tell you. So he knew he was
- 21:32Speaker 2: being fired. He knew that, like, and there was nothing
- 21:35Speaker 2: he did wrong except order that seafood tower. But he
- 21:38Speaker 2: ordered it. The girl goes, do you want a seafood tower?
- 21:42Speaker 2: He goes, yeah, I think we want it for the,
- 21:44Speaker 2: you know, I know he wants it and I want it.
- 21:46Speaker 2: He didn't realize that then, being a good server, she
- 21:49Speaker 2: did 75 back then, 75 times 10. Yeah. So the
- 21:53Speaker 2: seafood tower was $ 750 for a table of 10 when
- 21:57Speaker 2: he thought, like, just a few of us want it,
- 22:00Speaker 2: just a mini.
- 22:01Speaker 3: Right.
- 22:01Speaker 2: The car is beautiful. Where did you end up going
- 22:04Speaker 2: for it? This exclusive place that Dad has connections with.
- 22:07Speaker 1: They have more cars for more dealerships than like anywhere else.
- 22:10Speaker 2: You have to put me in touch.
- 22:11Speaker 4: What's it called?
- 22:12Speaker 2: It's Dunaidial.
- 22:15Speaker 3: Where?
- 22:16Speaker 2: Dunaidial.
- 22:17Speaker 1: There's an accent on the E.
- 22:20Speaker 2: Do you mean... Yes, I got it on Dundiel Cars.
- 22:22Speaker 4: Lift?
- 22:23Speaker 2: Please. You going past Kimmage? Oh, Kimmage.
- 22:26Speaker 4: No.
- 22:28Speaker 2: Done deal, Cars. You couldn't possibly go anywhere else.
- 22:32Speaker 4: I'm Darman, and this is What Happens Next. Each week
- 22:35Speaker 4: on the show, I sit down with extraordinary people who
- 22:38Speaker 4: have faced tremendous setbacks and yet somehow have found a
- 22:42Speaker 4: way to turn them into their greatest strengths.
- 22:45Speaker 3: Life is one long lesson of chaos. I'm heading to
- 22:49Speaker 3: the Emmys, and I have police complaints filed against me.
- 22:51Speaker 3: When your free will was about to be taken from you,
- 22:54Speaker 3: what would you do if it was given back?
- 22:56Speaker 4: Where did that need come from where you thought that
- 22:59Speaker 4: you had to succeed in order.
- 23:00Speaker 3: To feel loved? He said, I have a work dad.
- 23:02Speaker 3: I need a home dad. What happens next? When I
- 23:05Speaker 3: came in, he started crying. Everybody in life encounters hardships.
- 23:09Speaker 4: What defines them is not those hard moments that they
- 23:12Speaker 4: go through. It's about what happens next.
- 23:15Speaker 2: I decided to risk it all. I realized how valuable
- 23:17Speaker 2: every day was. You're worth the work.
- 23:19Speaker 3: Listen, Dara, I'm not going to pull punches.
- 23:21Speaker 2: You can use your voice even if it's shaped.
- 23:23Speaker 4: The stories are different, but the impact is the same.
- 23:27Speaker 4: Only one question matters. What happens next?
- 23:37Speaker 2: So that's where the Seafood Tower comes in.
- 23:39Speaker 3: I think it was the first time, like, last week
- 23:41Speaker 3: was the first time I'd ever been fired in my life. Like,
- 23:43Speaker 3: I'd never been fired from anything. Have you, I mean,
- 23:46Speaker 3: ever been fired from, like, a comedy club or something?
- 23:49Speaker 2: No, never from a comedy club. Never from a comedy club. Yeah. Yeah.
- 23:54Speaker 3: But, like, jobs?
- 23:56Speaker 2: Yeah, Kenan fired me from writing on a late-night talk show.
- 24:00Speaker 4: Oh, wow.
- 24:00Speaker 2: Because I, um.
- 24:03Speaker 2: Oh, God, I've told this story, like, on Patreon. But I, um...
- 24:07Speaker 2: I called in sick to audition for two pilots. And
- 24:11Speaker 2: then this other comedian made him aware that it was
- 24:15Speaker 2: pilot season. Even though he had no proof that I
- 24:17Speaker 2: did that, but I did. And then that night, the
- 24:20Speaker 2: writer's assistant said, Kenan says you never have to come back.
- 24:23Speaker 3: Oh, no.
- 24:24Speaker 2: Except to get your stuff.
- 24:24Speaker 3: Isn't it the worst?
- 24:25Speaker 2: It was the worst. It's the biggest regret of my
- 24:28Speaker 2: career because the show continued. I would have gotten... at
- 24:31Speaker 2: least residuals for like another six months. And then I
- 24:34Speaker 2: probably would have wrote scary movie one. He did forgive
- 24:37Speaker 2: me and probably forgot that he even fired me. And
- 24:40Speaker 2: we made, we're friends. And then I worked on several projects,
- 24:43Speaker 2: including white chicks and we're still friendly today. But yeah.
- 24:48Speaker 2: So that was the only time. And that was my
- 24:50Speaker 2: biggest regret.
- 24:51Speaker 3: Well, I'll say once again to Heather, myself and all
- 24:54Speaker 3: our comedy brothers and sisters, we are the real heroes and, Like,
- 24:59Speaker 3: to do that and go up in front of a
- 25:00Speaker 3: cold crowd. Like, bands... It was a Journey cover band
- 25:05Speaker 3: that was following me. And I'm like, they're like, we,
- 25:07Speaker 3: even they were telling me like, we have it easy.
- 25:08Speaker 3: We're just doing Journey songs. And we, nobody's even listening.
- 25:11Speaker 2: We don't need people to listen. And you have each other. Yeah.
- 25:14Speaker 3: There's 10 guys on stage. Like, and they don't need
- 25:16Speaker 3: people to listen.
- 25:17Speaker 4: No.
- 25:17Speaker 3: So I was like, yeah, I need people to listen.
- 25:20Speaker 3: And it's just me. And I don't have anybody to
- 25:23Speaker 3: turn to when it goes south.
- 25:25Speaker 2: No, you don't. Yeah. So at least you have today
- 25:29Speaker 2: to recover because everyone's going to say how much they
- 25:30Speaker 2: love you today.
- 25:31Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 25:31Speaker 2: Okay, so Rihanna, we watched the Super Bowl. It was
- 25:36Speaker 2: a great party at my friend Lainey's house. I got
- 25:38Speaker 2: a great seat. I watched it.
- 25:40Speaker 3: Great game.
- 25:41Speaker 2: And I immediately tweeted, I loved it. I didn't know
- 25:45Speaker 2: at the time that she was confirmed pregnant again. I
- 25:47Speaker 2: didn't know if that was a post-pregnancy belly, so if
- 25:49Speaker 2: she was pregnant, I certainly wasn't going to say it.
- 25:51Speaker 2: But I love that she's pregnant. I love that she
- 25:54Speaker 2: protected her body and didn't try to do anything that
- 25:56Speaker 2: she couldn't do.
- 25:57Speaker 3: Except for be a hundred feet in the air.
- 25:59Speaker 2: Yeah, that's scary. Right. You know, and I mean, there's
- 26:02Speaker 2: that song, you know, the Calvin Harris one.
- 26:03Speaker 3: And listen.
- 26:07Speaker 2: I had a baby 17 years ago, and if I
- 26:09Speaker 2: do that jumping up and down, which I still want
- 26:11Speaker 2: to do, I will pee. Okay? I will pee.
- 26:14Speaker 3: Right.
- 26:14Speaker 2: So I was like, she can't be expected to do that.
- 26:16Speaker 2: She just had a baby, or she's about to have
- 26:18Speaker 2: a baby, or both, or whatever. Yeah. She can't jump
- 26:20Speaker 2: up and down and do that. But I thought, like,
- 26:23Speaker 2: you know, she has a ton of hits.
- 26:25Speaker 3: I was.
- 26:25Speaker 2: She didn't have to bring anybody else out.
- 26:28Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 26:28Speaker 2: She didn't have to do a Satan worship.
- 26:30Speaker 3: No.
- 26:30Speaker 2: She didn't have to.
- 26:31Speaker 3: I thought it was perfectly fine.
- 26:32Speaker 2: I thought it was great. And then, of course, some
- 26:33Speaker 2: people are like, I disagree. It was boring. Listen, last...
- 26:37Speaker 2: Super Bowl was probably my favorite because it was all
- 26:39Speaker 2: my favorite songs from college.
- 26:41Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 26:41Speaker 2: It was Snoop Dogg and every, each person that came out,
- 26:43Speaker 2: I just had fucking tingles. Everyone my age was like
- 26:46Speaker 2: going crazy dancing. Yeah. But still, I just love when they,
- 26:51Speaker 2: as long as they pick someone that has a solid 10,
- 26:53Speaker 2: 12 hits. Yeah. I think everyone's happy, which she does.
- 26:57Speaker 2: I agree. And she didn't even sing all her hits.
- 26:58Speaker 3: Yeah, I thought it was all good. The other thing
- 27:02Speaker 3: is this is a no-win situation. It's like hosting an
- 27:04Speaker 3: award show.
- 27:04Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 27:05Speaker 3: There's going to be 50% of the people who think
- 27:07Speaker 3: it was great and 50% of the people who hate
- 27:08Speaker 3: it no matter what you do.
- 27:09Speaker 2: And there's going to be crotchet old people that don't
- 27:11Speaker 2: know her music.
- 27:12Speaker 3: Right.
- 27:12Speaker 2: I thought it was great. I thought it was like,
- 27:14Speaker 2: you know, she's a mother. This is what our bodies do.
- 27:18Speaker 2: She looked great. It was like, I thought I, I
- 27:21Speaker 2: was totally entranced. So that was my opinion.
- 27:23Speaker 3: Now, were you upset by the, I see a lot
- 27:25Speaker 3: of people being upset that she grabbed her crotch at
- 27:27Speaker 3: one point, which is a dance move.
- 27:29Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 27:30Speaker 3: As seems to be, everybody does it.
- 27:31Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 27:32Speaker 3: That's a dance move. But then it says she grabbed
- 27:34Speaker 3: her crotch and then smelled her finger. Did you hear that?
- 27:36Speaker 2: Yeah, I did. I didn't hear it. I saw it.
- 27:38Speaker 3: Yeah, you saw it. I saw it too.
- 27:39Speaker 2: Um, listen, I thought it was kind of like, why
- 27:42Speaker 2: the fuck not? It was about the only thing that
- 27:44Speaker 2: she did. And again, it's like, this is, I don't know.
- 27:49Speaker 2: That part didn't bother me. But the thing that my
- 27:51Speaker 2: niece brought up that I didn't is she did a
- 27:53Speaker 2: little branding. She did a little powder makeup on her
- 27:56Speaker 2: face because she has one of the biggest makeup lines
- 27:59Speaker 2: ever that people love. It's very successful. So I thought.
- 28:04Speaker 3: I had a friend who brought a girl to our,
- 28:07Speaker 3: we had a couple people over, my brother and one
- 28:09Speaker 3: of our friends that have been a friend of mine forever.
- 28:11Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 28:12Speaker 3: And he brought a new, kind of a new girl
- 28:13Speaker 3: that I haven't seen yet.
- 28:14Speaker 2: Okay.
- 28:15Speaker 3: And we were like, oh, she seems nice.
- 28:17Speaker 2: This is your friend's new girlfriend. Yes. Okay.
- 28:19Speaker 3: And at one point, at the point where she grabbed
- 28:22Speaker 3: the crotch.
- 28:22Speaker 2: And smelled it.
- 28:23Speaker 3: I think the girl was drinking a little bit.
- 28:24Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 28:24Speaker 3: And she goes, oh man, she just sniffed a coochie. Yeah.
- 28:28Speaker 3: And I was like, what did she just say? It
- 28:30Speaker 3: was a bunch of, like, adults sitting around. You can't
- 28:33Speaker 3: say that in front of adults at a party. But
- 28:35Speaker 3: it's kind of what she did.
- 28:36Speaker 2: Yeah, she did. And so, good times for her. Okay,
- 28:40Speaker 2: so Megan Fox, the day before, does this photo on
- 28:45Speaker 2: her social media, removes Machine Gun Kelly from all of
- 28:48Speaker 2: her stuff, and says, like, I know that you... What
- 28:52Speaker 2: was it? Like, I know that you cheated. She didn't
- 28:54Speaker 2: say cheated, but, like, the dishonesty is... Something, the dishonesty
- 28:58Speaker 2: is here. And then she also showed a photo of
- 29:00Speaker 2: this like burning letter. The theory now is that they're
- 29:05Speaker 2: not broken up. And this was all a publicity stunt,
- 29:08Speaker 2: which is what they're all about. Because she actually was
- 29:13Speaker 2: the actress in the Rihanna Eminem music video of Let
- 29:18Speaker 2: Me Burn. Yeah. So she just was getting like hype
- 29:22Speaker 2: for herself. Yeah. I thought whether they're broken up or not, She,
- 29:28Speaker 2: no one's talking about them anymore. So she has to
- 29:31Speaker 2: do this. I mean, I don't know. Am I ever
- 29:34Speaker 2: going to get to a place where I just like
- 29:35Speaker 2: fake a divorce?
- 29:37Speaker 3: Maybe.
- 29:38Speaker 2: All right, here we go. Take off your rings.
- 29:41Speaker 3: Oh, and then you just keep it.
- 29:42Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 29:42Speaker 2: I just don't say anything. I just stop wearing this ring.
- 29:45Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 29:46Speaker 2: Like anyone would fucking care.
- 29:47Speaker 3: I stopped wearing mine because.
- 29:48Speaker 2: Because you want some press?
- 29:50Speaker 3: No, because my daughter is obsessed with hiding it throughout
- 29:53Speaker 3: the house. And now we have the new house and
- 29:55Speaker 3: we can't find it. And we keep asking, where is it?
- 29:58Speaker 3: She's like, I'm not going to tell you. And we're like,
- 30:02Speaker 3: is she ever going to tell? We might be gone forever.
- 30:04Speaker 2: But also a great thing for a cheating guy to
- 30:08Speaker 2: do who has a toddler. He can now say... Our
- 30:11Speaker 2: child hit it.
- 30:12Speaker 3: Hit it.
- 30:13Speaker 2: And that's why I'm not wearing it when.
- 30:14Speaker 3: I go to Vegas this weekend.
- 30:15Speaker 2: I know.
- 30:16Speaker 3: It really is.
- 30:17Speaker 2: We'll find it. Anyway, I'm done with these people. I
- 30:21Speaker 2: said they're never getting married. Yeah. No one cares. And also,
- 30:25Speaker 2: no one cares after a while. No one cares once
- 30:28Speaker 2: you start having kids or whether you get married. Right.
- 30:31Speaker 2: The only fun is new relationship to the engagement and
- 30:35Speaker 2: then no one cares.
- 30:36Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 30:37Speaker 2: She's not acting. He's not doing anything. We're over him,
- 30:40Speaker 2: the blood. Nobody cares.
- 30:41Speaker 3: Nobody cares about relationships. Yeah, exactly.
- 30:44Speaker 2: No one cares about you. So who cares?
- 30:46Speaker 3: And eventually like that one was going to end. That
- 30:49Speaker 3: one wasn't going to business.
- 30:50Speaker 2: Even if it's not ended, I still don't care. If
- 30:52Speaker 2: you show up on a red carpet, you go at
- 30:54Speaker 2: the next thing. I don't care that this was all. Yeah.
- 30:58Speaker 3: But I heard there was more to this. Like she,
- 31:01Speaker 3: I guess had deleted him from all the pictures on Instagram.
- 31:04Speaker 3: I heard that. And I know this is all hype
- 31:06Speaker 3: for whatever. Then I heard she started following Eminem.
- 31:10Speaker 2: Yeah. She strategically followed people that he hated or that
- 31:14Speaker 2: Eminem hated or I don't know who did the sleuthing
- 31:18Speaker 2: on the Instagram following and not. I'm so sick of
- 31:21Speaker 2: people doing that where they're like, I'm going to do
- 31:23Speaker 2: this cryptic post. Then I'm going to stop following. Then
- 31:26Speaker 2: I'm going to delete people. Then that's going to be.
- 31:28Speaker 2: I mean, I guess it's kind of great to get.
- 31:31Speaker 2: people going it's another thing I yeah again I don't
- 31:34Speaker 2: no matter what I do no one would ever notice
- 31:36Speaker 2: or whatever but I.
- 31:37Speaker 3: Don't know but what does Megan Fox do anymore is
- 31:39Speaker 3: she an act like movies or anything anymore right I
- 31:43Speaker 3: haven't seen her in a while no she hasn't so
- 31:46Speaker 3: I guess it's just that.
- 31:47Speaker 2: I mean the last movie she did was Randall Emmett's
- 31:49Speaker 2: movies Midnight in the Switchgrass.
- 31:54Speaker 3: And yeah Randall Emmett yeah I think it's down from.
- 31:57Speaker 2: There yeah so she's not And then Adele was there
- 32:00Speaker 2: and I loved this because she was like shushing people
- 32:04Speaker 2: in the crowd. So it was like, Adele was like,
- 32:07Speaker 2: all of us like, please, why is this football game
- 32:10Speaker 2: interrupting my Rihanna concert? Which is funny. This also happened yesterday.
- 32:15Speaker 2: It was at the award.
- 32:17Speaker 3: Yeah, the Brand Awards, right? What's his name? Sam Smith.
- 32:19Speaker 2: Yeah, he just wore like a weird outfit. Who cares? Oh, wait,
- 32:23Speaker 2: where was my girl, the mom? Well, anyway, my favorite
- 32:28Speaker 2: Super Bowl story.
- 32:29Speaker 3: So did you like the commercials and everything?
- 32:30Speaker 2: Commercials are cute. Well, my favorite Super Bowl story is
- 32:33Speaker 2: the ultimate boy mom. The mom whose sons were on
- 32:37Speaker 2: either team. I love that story so much. I love
- 32:43Speaker 2: that she got the custom made outfit. I love that
- 32:45Speaker 2: she had each shoe. I love that. Um, I guess
- 32:49Speaker 2: they asked her to flip the coin and she was like, no,
- 32:52Speaker 2: which is the right answer. Yeah. Because if she flipped
- 32:54Speaker 2: the coin, whatever son ended up not winning, they could
- 32:58Speaker 2: bring it up for the next 50 years that you
- 33:00Speaker 2: flipped in the side of the other son. Um, So
- 33:03Speaker 2: I thought that was, like, my favorite story, like, the
- 33:05Speaker 2: whole thing. Yeah, that was a good one. And it
- 33:06Speaker 2: was a super exciting game, whether you like.
- 33:07Speaker 3: Football or not. It was a great game. Unfortunately, it
- 33:09Speaker 3: ended on basically, like, a penalty, which was a terrible, like, penalty.
- 33:13Speaker 3: And it could have been maybe one of the best
- 33:15Speaker 3: Super Bowl games ever if it didn't end on a
- 33:18Speaker 3: weird penalty like that. Anyway, so.
- 33:21Speaker 2: And then the commercials were all fun. Yeah, we saw
- 33:24Speaker 2: our J-Lo Dunkin' Donut thing.
- 33:27Speaker 3: Yeah, which was interesting. I don't really understand. The point
- 33:30Speaker 3: of it was supposed to be, like, Ben Affleck was
- 33:33Speaker 3: working at Dunkin' Donuts. It was a reality commercial in
- 33:38Speaker 3: the beginning. People were like, oh my God, shocked. And
- 33:40Speaker 3: then J-Lo comes pulling up and now the reality of it,
- 33:42Speaker 3: it's a fake commercial. He's obviously not working at Dunkin' Donuts.
- 33:46Speaker 3: And we were led to believe that at the end.
- 33:48Speaker 3: We're like, this is where you go?
- 33:49Speaker 2: But they could have still had people come through and
- 33:53Speaker 2: not known and got their real reactions.
- 33:55Speaker 3: I know, but it was just like, you could have
- 33:57Speaker 3: gone two ways with it. I don't know. It was
- 34:00Speaker 3: a bad idea. All right. They should have had both
- 34:03Speaker 3: J-Lo and him working in there and just got people's reactions.
- 34:06Speaker 2: John Travolta had a commercial.
- 34:08Speaker 3: Looks great.
- 34:08Speaker 2: Thank God he finally embraced the shaved head.
- 34:11Speaker 3: He looks great. I know.
- 34:14Speaker 2: You know, so good for him. I hope he embraces
- 34:16Speaker 2: all of himself. I really need him to live his
- 34:19Speaker 2: truth now.
- 34:20Speaker 3: Well, I don't know if you're going to get that truth.
- 34:23Speaker 2: I think we're going to soon.
- 34:24Speaker 3: Eventually?
- 34:25Speaker 2: Yeah, hair first.
- 34:26Speaker 4: Really?
- 34:27Speaker 2: Really. He's single. Unfortunately, his wife has passed. Right.
- 34:29Speaker 3: Kelly Preston.
- 34:30Speaker 2: This is the time to live his life.
- 34:32Speaker 3: I got, you know, I'm all, anytime you do like
- 34:35Speaker 3: any grease throwback.
- 34:36Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 34:37Speaker 3: I'm all about, I always feel weird that sometimes I
- 34:40Speaker 3: feel like maybe I go back to like Chelsea Lately
- 34:42Speaker 3: too much because I really haven't had a job since.
- 34:47Speaker 3: But I'm like, everybody does. Like every commercial you saw
- 34:51Speaker 3: was like somebody doing their character from 30 years ago.
- 34:54Speaker 3: Like there was a Breaking Bad commercial.
- 34:56Speaker 2: Oh, yeah.
- 34:56Speaker 3: There was a Rocky commercial. There was a Grease commercial.
- 34:59Speaker 3: These people are like, I guess I got to do
- 35:01Speaker 3: this again. I made this movie 40 years ago and
- 35:04Speaker 3: I'm still referencing it.
- 35:05Speaker 2: Speaking of Grease, there is a new show coming out
- 35:08Speaker 2: called The Pink Ladies.
- 35:09Speaker 3: Yes.
- 35:10Speaker 2: That is supposed to be four years before Grease. It's
- 35:13Speaker 2: a prequel.
- 35:14Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 35:14Speaker 2: But even though it was four years previous to the Grease,
- 35:19Speaker 2: it's got a woke, as they would say. And I
- 35:21Speaker 2: know even me saying woke is going to get me
- 35:23Speaker 2: in trouble, but that is what the articles are saying.
- 35:26Speaker 2: A woke caste, meaning completely multicultural. Right. It's gender bending.
- 35:32Speaker 2: There's a girl who actually wants to fix the cars.
- 35:37Speaker 3: There was that in the regular Grease. There was a
- 35:39Speaker 3: couple that were.
- 35:40Speaker 2: Well, that, whatever, this girl is. Yeah. Yeah. This girl
- 35:44Speaker 2: is more convincing.
- 35:45Speaker 3: Right. Okay.
- 35:48Speaker 2: Anyway, so it's going to be how the pink ladies began.
- 35:51Speaker 2: I think it could be fun. Why not? Who cares?
- 35:53Speaker 3: Yeah. Some people will say that they're age shaming in
- 35:56Speaker 3: this new one, but in the original Grease, Stockard Channing
- 35:58Speaker 3: was 42 playing a high school student.
- 36:01Speaker 2: She was 35. I know.
- 36:03Speaker 3: It was so funny. Like watching it now, you're like,
- 36:04Speaker 3: these people are supposed to be in high school? Yeah.
- 36:07Speaker 3: Like one of the T-Birds has a receding hairline.
- 36:10Speaker 2: Yeah, but always Broadway was another one. It was like
- 36:13Speaker 2: Chicago where they would always put a star as Rizzo
- 36:18Speaker 2: in the, what, Grease. So like one time it was
- 36:20Speaker 2: Rosie O'Donnell. One time it was Brooke Shields. It was
- 36:23Speaker 2: one of those things. And they were all way old too.
- 36:26Speaker 2: So it's, you're old, you know, you're old. And so,
- 36:29Speaker 2: all right. So- Oh, but you know what? My friend
- 36:33Speaker 2: who's an actor said he was in Super Bowl commercials.
- 36:38Speaker 2: And I go, well, back then they must have paid
- 36:39Speaker 2: a lot. He goes, no, because actually they don't play
- 36:41Speaker 2: them much.
- 36:42Speaker 3: Only show them once.
- 36:42Speaker 2: Yeah, they don't play them much after. I know. So
- 36:45Speaker 2: it's kind of a bummer.
- 36:45Speaker 3: Yeah, I had a couple of buddies in them and
- 36:47Speaker 3: they only showed them once and that was the end
- 36:48Speaker 3: of it. Did you hear about the 2B commercial that
- 36:53Speaker 3: everyone was upset about?
- 36:54Speaker 2: No, what happened there?
- 36:55Speaker 3: It was very clever. They made it seem like. during
- 36:58Speaker 3: the height of the game, they made the commercial made
- 37:00Speaker 3: it seem like somebody like sat on the remote or something.
- 37:02Speaker 3: It switched like a, Oh, we did think it happened.
- 37:05Speaker 3: Everybody did. The whole country was like, who saw it?
- 37:07Speaker 2: That is smart. Yeah. I didn't even realize it was
- 37:10Speaker 2: a commercial.
- 37:10Speaker 3: It was a commercial. It was a TV commercial.
- 37:12Speaker 2: I left still mad at my friend's husband. Yeah. I
- 37:15Speaker 2: really did think. I was like, who the fuck is
- 37:16Speaker 2: fucking up? Yeah.
- 37:17Speaker 3: It was like at the end of the game. Yeah.
- 37:19Speaker 3: And they pretended like somebody sat on the remote or
- 37:21Speaker 3: the remote was messing up.
- 37:23Speaker 2: Now that is genius.
- 37:24Speaker 3: And that's a clever idea.
- 37:25Speaker 2: I didn't even know that until you told me. Yeah.
- 37:26Speaker 3: That one. And I thought the Blue Moon commercial was like,
- 37:29Speaker 3: this is a Bud Light commercial. This is a Miller
- 37:31Speaker 3: Lite commercial. And then they're like, this is neither. This
- 37:33Speaker 3: is a Blue Moon commercial. And I was like, oh,
- 37:35Speaker 3: that's interesting. They showed two other beers for the entire commercial.
- 37:39Speaker 3: And then at the end, they're like, this is what
- 37:40Speaker 3: the commercial is about. Because that was a good angle, too.
- 37:43Speaker 3: Is that? Well, I don't know. It was more interesting
- 37:46Speaker 3: than the other ones. All right.
- 37:49Speaker 2: There's a new show on Netflix.
- 37:50Speaker 3: New movie.
- 37:51Speaker 2: New movie. Your Place or Mine. And I watched it.
- 37:58Speaker 3: Yeah, so did I.
- 37:59Speaker 2: And I have to tell you. I thought it was horrible.
- 38:04Speaker 2: I thought it was so bad.
- 38:06Speaker 4: Okay.
- 38:06Speaker 2: And I have a theory.
- 38:07Speaker 3: Wait, okay.
- 38:08Speaker 2: I think this might've been our first AI script that
- 38:13Speaker 2: was written. I think somebody went to the AI artificial
- 38:16Speaker 2: intelligence thing that can write you papers and stuff. And
- 38:19Speaker 2: I said, I think they said, write me a romantic
- 38:21Speaker 2: comedy about two best friends that are heterosexual and, um,
- 38:28Speaker 2: but have never gotten together except the one time they
- 38:31Speaker 2: did when they were young and bring them together. Also,
- 38:35Speaker 2: I need it to be COVID friendly for us to
- 38:37Speaker 2: shoot it. So I need them in two different places
- 38:40Speaker 2: for most of the entire movie.
- 38:41Speaker 3: Okay.
- 38:42Speaker 2: And throw in some funny jokes. The jokes were so bad. Okay.
- 38:47Speaker 3: Can we talk about it?
- 38:48Speaker 2: Let's talk about it. Okay.
- 38:49Speaker 3: Because I can talk about this for an hour.
- 38:50Speaker 2: I can talk about it for four. Okay, listen. Your
- 38:53Speaker 2: place or mine is Ashton Kutcher.
- 38:54Speaker 3: Number one movie in the country right now, by the way,
- 38:56Speaker 3: on my top 10 on Netflix.
- 38:58Speaker 2: Listen. Annie just revealed that someone very close to her
- 39:01Speaker 2: loved it. So that's okay.
- 39:03Speaker 3: As I'm watching it, you texted me last night saying
- 39:06Speaker 3: you have to watch it because it's the worst thing ever.
- 39:08Speaker 3: I'm watching it. I'm like, for me, it's not the
- 39:11Speaker 3: worst thing ever because I'm just enjoying it. It was
- 39:14Speaker 3: a lot of Cars music, the interview into the Cars.
- 39:17Speaker 3: It was nonstop Cars music, which I thought was weird, too.
- 39:21Speaker 3: I'm like, why is it all Cars music?
- 39:23Speaker 2: I get very annoyed how, just what a lazy script
- 39:26Speaker 2: it was. So I'm just.
- 39:27Speaker 3: Annoyed that it was- It was from 1990, like you say, AI.
- 39:30Speaker 3: I say it was 1990. They must have dug up
- 39:32Speaker 3: a script from 1999. Possibly.
- 39:34Speaker 2: Possibly. It was, I mean, ultimate dry bar movie from
- 39:38Speaker 2: early 2000s. Yes. It was so nothing clever, creative. Yeah.
- 39:44Speaker 2: You know, except maybe the casting, again, it wasn't an
- 39:46Speaker 2: all-white cast. That's the only difference between a 2000 movie.
- 39:51Speaker 2: And that her best friend was a lesbian who was
- 39:53Speaker 2: married to a woman.
- 39:54Speaker 3: Right.
- 39:54Speaker 2: Which was Tig.
- 39:55Speaker 3: Tig, yeah. The worst empty coffee cup holding I've ever seen.
- 40:01Speaker 3: Tig was... And I love Tig.
- 40:03Speaker 2: Tig Notaro is the lesbian best friend who works at
- 40:07Speaker 2: the school with Reese. Okay, so let me just give
- 40:09Speaker 2: you the premise. Reese Witherspoon and Ashton Kutcher... are two
- 40:13Speaker 2: extremely good-looking people. The only other thing they have in
- 40:16Speaker 2: common is that he likes to write books and she
- 40:20Speaker 2: likes to read them.
- 40:21Speaker 3: Well, because every shirt she wore was a bookstore shirt.
- 40:24Speaker 2: Yes.
- 40:25Speaker 3: So there's a lot of books. They hit you over
- 40:27Speaker 3: the head.
- 40:27Speaker 2: They are the two best-looking bookworm nerds that have ever lived, okay?
- 40:34Speaker 2: And they go on to Bone Once and then.
- 40:39Speaker 2: It only happened once. And they remain best friends even
- 40:41Speaker 2: though they literally have nothing in common. They're not funny together.
- 40:45Speaker 2: Their personalities don't have anything going together. Except she likes
- 40:49Speaker 2: to read books and he likes to write them. However,
- 40:53Speaker 2: they both didn't pursue their dreams. But they both became successful.
- 40:57Speaker 3: To show you how hard they hit you over the
- 40:58Speaker 3: head in this movie. In the very beginning it starts
- 41:01Speaker 3: and it says, this is 20 years ago. here's how
- 41:03Speaker 3: you know. And they literally point to like, that he's
- 41:08Speaker 3: wearing a chain wallet. And like, she's, her hair is
- 41:12Speaker 3: a flat iron. And they're pointing to the joke. Like
- 41:15Speaker 3: we would have gotten it had you not told us.
- 41:17Speaker 2: So many layers of tank tops. And also I'm like, again,
- 41:21Speaker 2: thanks for stealing a millennial TikTok joke. Like I've seen
- 41:25Speaker 2: that for so many people that are like, watch me
- 41:28Speaker 2: get ready in 2000 or whatever. And they do their
- 41:31Speaker 2: makeup and I'm like, whatever, you know, cause it's like
- 41:33Speaker 2: a little younger than I am. So I'm like, I
- 41:34Speaker 2: don't really care that you flat on your hair. Like,
- 41:36Speaker 2: why is that so fucking funny? Who cares? I guess
- 41:39Speaker 2: that'd be like someone being like, I've got a perm.
- 41:41Speaker 2: Who cares?
- 41:41Speaker 3: Can I say this about Ashton Kutcher?
- 41:43Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 41:44Speaker 3: Like sports or comedy or anything else. I think you
- 41:48Speaker 3: have to be, do you have to do it all
- 41:50Speaker 3: the time to be good? And I think Ashton Kutcher
- 41:52Speaker 3: has taken some time off, whatever he does. I think
- 41:55Speaker 3: he's involved in other things. And I think he's forgotten.
- 41:58Speaker 3: how to act a little bit.
- 41:59Speaker 2: Of the comedic, like, pacing. Yes, yes.
- 42:02Speaker 3: I think he was definitely like, oh, this is, seems
- 42:05Speaker 3: all new to him. He's just, the guy we once loved,
- 42:08Speaker 3: I think, was not there anymore. Am I missing that?
- 42:13Speaker 2: Yes, and I'm afraid if I talk about this too long,
- 42:16Speaker 2: people are going to lose people, but I just want
- 42:18Speaker 2: to say, these were, really quickly, what really bugged me is,
- 42:23Speaker 2: So she goes to New York to stay at his
- 42:25Speaker 2: place to get accredited in some teaching thing.
- 42:28Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 42:29Speaker 2: And he goes and watches her kid because she's divorced. And,
- 42:34Speaker 2: of course, he's a successful hot guy that can't find
- 42:38Speaker 2: love who doesn't know how to be around a kid.
- 42:42Speaker 2: So funny that a 40-year-old man who's never been married
- 42:46Speaker 2: and doesn't have a kid– Doesn't know how to be
- 42:48Speaker 2: around a kid.
- 42:48Speaker 3: And they had a lot of running gags that didn't
- 42:50Speaker 3: work the first time. The nickname gag that he was
- 42:53Speaker 3: going to come up with nicknames for the kid. And
- 42:55Speaker 3: they were like, it's not working. Your nickname's not working.
- 42:59Speaker 3: I'm like, this gag's going to keep going.
- 43:02Speaker 2: The other running gag was that Tig always had a
- 43:05Speaker 2: giant coffee.
- 43:05Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 43:06Speaker 2: Always had a giant coffee. There was a 10 at night.
- 43:09Speaker 2: And then she'd even say, hey, I've had five of these.
- 43:11Speaker 2: I can talk to you. So that's her character. That
- 43:15Speaker 2: is her only character trait. Besides being a lesbian, which
- 43:19Speaker 2: is not a character trait, or being married to a woman,
- 43:21Speaker 2: which is not a character trait, is that she likes coffee.
- 43:23Speaker 2: Other than that, could have been anybody in the part.
- 43:26Speaker 2: Then the other running joke that I think is so dumb,
- 43:32Speaker 2: they're at a beautiful, beautiful, chic New York cocktail lounge bar.
- 43:38Speaker 2: And the one girl gets a martini and Reese Witherspoon
- 43:42Speaker 2: gets a drink that has way too many vegetables and
- 43:45Speaker 2: food coming out of it. Okay, maybe if you go
- 43:49Speaker 2: to Thank God It's Fridays and you order a Bloody Mary,
- 43:52Speaker 2: it might have like one, you know, a couple extra food.
- 43:56Speaker 2: That continues to happen to her throughout the show. Every
- 43:59Speaker 2: drink she gets has way too many vegetables. I'm like,
- 44:01Speaker 2: you're telling me that happens where you get a cocktail
- 44:03Speaker 2: for $ 25 in New York? Again, just like, oh, I
- 44:06Speaker 2: saw this once. Like, I just imagine the writer being like,
- 44:08Speaker 2: this will be funny where she's like, oh, I've got
- 44:10Speaker 2: my vegetable salad here. Like, it just.
- 44:13Speaker 3: That's the worst. And so... And, like, Reese Witherspoon and
- 44:16Speaker 3: Ash Gritch have been around a long time. Both of
- 44:18Speaker 3: them are like, I'm not doing this hack bit. Like,
- 44:20Speaker 3: they must have read scripts before that have this hack
- 44:23Speaker 3: joke in it.
- 44:24Speaker 2: No, they don't care. And then, of course, she finds
- 44:27Speaker 2: that he has written a book. And it's so amazing
- 44:32Speaker 2: that she meets this editor guy that she's obsessed with.
- 44:36Speaker 2: So she gives it to him, but she's terrified. Now
- 44:39Speaker 2: they want to publish the book. She's terrified. How does
- 44:41Speaker 2: she tell her best friend that she secretly gave his
- 44:44Speaker 2: book that's now going to be published? What person wouldn't
- 44:47Speaker 2: be happy to hear that? It's only in a movie
- 44:51Speaker 2: that someone who spent years writing something that would be like,
- 44:55Speaker 2: and don't you send that script to Paramount, you motherfucker. Like,
- 44:59Speaker 2: it never, ever would happen. Never, ever would happen. But
- 45:02Speaker 2: she's terrified. And then this guy who's like the hottest,
- 45:06Speaker 2: sexiest publishing editor, which I've met a bunch, and they
- 45:10Speaker 2: don't look like this. But he's a bookworm, too. He
- 45:14Speaker 2: likes her. So then... You know, that Ashton Kutcher accidentally
- 45:18Speaker 2: sees that his ring light is on, his ring camera,
- 45:21Speaker 2: and they're getting together. And he's like, I'm going to
- 45:23Speaker 2: throw up if I see my best friend who I
- 45:25Speaker 2: fucked 20 years ago, who I'm not in love with,
- 45:27Speaker 2: screwing someone. You're telling me any heterosexual guy that saw
- 45:30Speaker 2: a girl that he liked about to get fucked wouldn't.
- 45:33Speaker 3: Continue to watch? I would. Of course you would.
- 45:38Speaker 2: Like, I just. Right. So that's how I feel about it.
- 45:43Speaker 2: It was just. And then the kid plays hockey. In
- 45:47Speaker 2: Santa Monica, which is not, I don't think that's a
- 45:49Speaker 2: big hockey place, but now you're going to write me,
- 45:51Speaker 2: my son plays hockey. Okay, fine. Anyway, he hasn't practiced
- 45:54Speaker 2: or played hockey in a long time because his mom
- 45:56Speaker 2: is overprotective. He's like, no, I don't care what your
- 45:59Speaker 2: mom says. You're still going to play hockey. So he
- 46:02Speaker 2: plays hockey. He's like the best kid on the team,
- 46:04Speaker 2: even though he has no muscle, no fun to the kid,
- 46:07Speaker 2: but he does it.
- 46:08Speaker 3: The kid was actually kind of the best actor in
- 46:10Speaker 3: the whole thing.
- 46:10Speaker 2: He was kind of the best actor, but I'm just
- 46:11Speaker 2: saying like, if you haven't been practicing for a long time,
- 46:14Speaker 2: you're just going to join the team. and be like
- 46:17Speaker 2: killer at it. And anyway.
- 46:20Speaker 3: Let me tell you what does not work in movies.
- 46:22Speaker 3: And I have seen it a thousand times in the
- 46:23Speaker 3: last couple of years that it doesn't work. Is like
- 46:26Speaker 3: new technology. Like Zoom calls. Yes. None of this stuff works.
- 46:31Speaker 2: Bloop.
- 46:32Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 46:32Speaker 2: Bloop. Bloop.
- 46:33Speaker 3: Of the text. It doesn't work in movies. I know
- 46:35Speaker 3: in real life this is the way we deal with
- 46:37Speaker 3: each other now. But it just doesn't really work. Like
- 46:40Speaker 3: we got to abort all that stuff and just go
- 46:43Speaker 3: back to like let's pretend these don't exist. And we're
- 46:46Speaker 3: back to, like, on When Harry Met Sally type, you know. Banter. Yeah, because, like,
- 46:50Speaker 3: the two split screen. Oh, my God.
- 46:53Speaker 2: If you watch Harry Met Sally and then you watch this,
- 46:55Speaker 2: it's actually depressing. Oh, I know. Where we've gone. Talk about, like,
- 46:59Speaker 2: just not, it was just.
- 47:02Speaker 3: And the fact that the whole movie is basically them
- 47:05Speaker 3: talking to themselves. You know, it's Reese Witherspoon again, like.
- 47:09Speaker 3: in a kitchen where she can't figure out how to
- 47:10Speaker 3: open the cabinets and talking to herself, like, how do
- 47:12Speaker 3: you open these cabinets?
- 47:14Speaker 2: And then, you know, and then he, he has no plants.
- 47:17Speaker 2: So when she stays in this place for a week, right.
- 47:19Speaker 2: She's going to get some plants. She's going to get
- 47:21Speaker 2: a couple of throw rugs. Yeah. Because he's just a
- 47:24Speaker 2: cold guy, a cold, drop-dead gorgeous guy who lives in
- 47:29Speaker 2: a $ 5 million apartment. No, he can't keep a girlfriend.
- 47:36Speaker 2: Every girl just dumps him. And then she finally finds out,
- 47:39Speaker 2: of course, they're in love. Yeah.
- 47:41Speaker 4: And.
- 47:42Speaker 3: I didn't get that far.
- 47:43Speaker 2: Well, who cares? You knew they would end up together.
- 47:45Speaker 2: And then, and if someone even writes me that I
- 47:48Speaker 2: spoiled them, please stop listening to the show.
- 47:51Speaker 3: I knew it was coming. Yeah. Okay.
- 47:53Speaker 2: So I don't care. You know, I'm never going to
- 47:56Speaker 2: be in Reese Witherspoon's movie. So I, you know what?
- 47:58Speaker 2: I don't like it.
- 47:59Speaker 3: I don't care. The other thing is, aren't they both
- 48:00Speaker 3: very successful? And doesn't he, didn't he own like Uber
- 48:03Speaker 3: or something? And she sold her. her production company for.
- 48:06Speaker 2: She sold her production company for $ 950 million.
- 48:09Speaker 3: Like, why continue to do this shit?
- 48:10Speaker 2: Because they're still an ego thing, and they.
- 48:12Speaker 3: Think it's fun. But also, she does good work. Like, those,
- 48:15Speaker 3: you know, the one on, with Nicole Kidman, the morning show.
- 48:17Speaker 3: I just think they were like, why do this crap?
- 48:19Speaker 2: Because she loves doing romantic comedies, and she even started
- 48:22Speaker 2: to do... collect all the books to be movies. Yeah.
- 48:27Speaker 2: Because she's like, they stopped bringing me these dry bar comedies.
- 48:32Speaker 3: Right.
- 48:32Speaker 2: I call them dry bar because they play them at
- 48:33Speaker 2: the blowout bars, okay?
- 48:34Speaker 3: Oh, I was going to say, what is a dry
- 48:35Speaker 3: bar comedy?
- 48:35Speaker 2: It's another thing. It's what I always say. It's the
- 48:38Speaker 2: only thing they play at these blowout bars, okay?
- 48:40Speaker 3: Oh, got it, got it.
- 48:41Speaker 2: So this will be there too, probably. Anyway, so she
- 48:45Speaker 2: had to, and she built this great production company of
- 48:48Speaker 2: really great stuff. But I think she still likes to
- 48:51Speaker 2: act and likes to do big faces and all that
- 48:53Speaker 2: kind of stuff. And she's appealing. I mean, they're appealing
- 48:56Speaker 2: to look at. Yeah.
- 48:58Speaker 3: I'll also say this about it. I think if you're
- 49:02Speaker 3: not like a movie fanatic or you're a movie fan,
- 49:07Speaker 3: I think you'd watch this for an hour and 40
- 49:08Speaker 3: minutes and not be horribly disappointed. I didn't think it
- 49:12Speaker 3: was the most awful thing I've ever seen.
- 49:15Speaker 2: There's obviously something wrong with me. You could say I'm jealous. No.
- 49:19Speaker 2: You could say I'm annoyed. You could say... Whatever. And
- 49:22Speaker 2: I'm not like... I know I sound like angry. I
- 49:24Speaker 2: watch the whole thing. Right. Because then I started to
- 49:26Speaker 2: have fun about picking out how annoying it was. But
- 49:31Speaker 2: no one... Like I said, no one's asking me to
- 49:34Speaker 2: read a movie. Whatever. Shut up. But that's... My job
- 49:37Speaker 2: now is to... Give my honest opinion and my honest
- 49:41Speaker 2: opinion is It was a very lazy written movie. They
- 49:44Speaker 2: both wanted to act again. They made it very easy
- 49:46Speaker 2: for them to do this movie.
- 49:48Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 49:48Speaker 2: They never even had to be in the same scene
- 49:50Speaker 2: until the final scene. Right. And so they worked around
- 49:54Speaker 2: their schedules.
- 49:54Speaker 3: And weren't they kind of called out recently on a
- 49:56Speaker 3: red carpet for having like a weird picture where they
- 49:58Speaker 3: were like standing next to each other or not? But not.
- 50:00Speaker 2: They had no chemistry.
- 50:02Speaker 3: It was like they had no zero chemistry.
- 50:04Speaker 2: Yeah. Even at the kiss at the end, he like
- 50:06Speaker 2: lifted her up and then they kiss and they're like, okay,
- 50:09Speaker 2: I guess we'll get married now. Like, Wait a minute.
- 50:11Speaker 2: Like the last time you screwed was 20 years ago
- 50:14Speaker 2: when you were talking about like some great writer as
- 50:17Speaker 2: if that's ever happening between people that look like this.
- 50:20Speaker 2: And okay. So I did watch you people. I did
- 50:24Speaker 2: think it was– there were some really funny parts in this.
- 50:27Speaker 2: This is from Netflix. I like Julia Louis-Dreyfus. I thought
- 50:30Speaker 2: it was– one of those movies that was like more
- 50:33Speaker 2: really like hard laughter in the beginning. Yeah. And then
- 50:37Speaker 2: when the romance happened between Jonah Hill and I forgot
- 50:40Speaker 2: the woman, that's his love interest.
- 50:42Speaker 3: Right.
- 50:43Speaker 2: Then it kind of has a dumb Hollywood ridiculous like ending,
- 50:47Speaker 2: but whatever. Um, I, but other than that, I'm like,
- 50:52Speaker 2: I liked it much more than that one.
- 50:54Speaker 4: Okay.
- 50:54Speaker 2: So that was on Netflix too, but they have discovered that,
- 50:58Speaker 2: That at the end, yes, I'm ruining it for you,
- 51:00Speaker 2: guess what, they end up getting married, is they kiss
- 51:04Speaker 2: and it was a CGI kiss. Yeah. And an extra
- 51:08Speaker 2: or an actor in the show revealed that when they
- 51:12Speaker 2: were filming it, it was almost planned for that. They
- 51:15Speaker 2: never really kiss.
- 51:19Speaker 3: Now, what's the reason for that? Because they.
- 51:22Speaker 2: The theory behind it is that they lacked so much chemistry.
- 51:25Speaker 2: And that was the whole thing, that these two people
- 51:27Speaker 2: would not hit it off, would not fall in love.
- 51:30Speaker 2: But the whole thing is that, you know, they're from
- 51:34Speaker 2: two different worlds. He's this Jewish... It's weird. He's this
- 51:37Speaker 2: Jewish financial guy. But he really is a hilarious podcaster. Oh.
- 51:46Speaker 3: Podcasting.
- 51:48Speaker 2: And so hilarious... with this, with that girl, Sanjay.
- 51:53Speaker 3: Oh yeah.
- 51:53Speaker 2: So that's, that's his best friend who is black lesbian.
- 51:58Speaker 2: Who's very funny. Yeah. And they have like good banter
- 52:02Speaker 2: in the beginning, like podcast, funny banter, like probably writers
- 52:05Speaker 2: listen to Juicy Scoop, whatever. And, um, so he quits
- 52:10Speaker 2: his financial job after they live together. And of course
- 52:13Speaker 2: they're living in like a house that, oh my God,
- 52:15Speaker 2: would probably cost $ 7 million in Santa Monica, but it's
- 52:18Speaker 2: like a cottage, right?
- 52:19Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 52:21Speaker 2: Because he's like, I'm just going to really pursue this
- 52:22Speaker 2: podcasting thing. They're like, three months later, they have a
- 52:25Speaker 2: complete soundstage filming their podcast with like four people working
- 52:30Speaker 2: it and being compared to Joe Rogan. And I'm like,
- 52:34Speaker 2: I hope everyone sitting at home is like, you know what?
- 52:36Speaker 3: I'm going to get a podcast. Get a podcast.
- 52:38Speaker 2: Because in three months, I'm going to be up with
- 52:41Speaker 2: a Joe Rogan.
- 52:42Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 52:42Speaker 3: With this and the Sex and the City, they make
- 52:45Speaker 3: podcasting seem like it's the most glamorous way to go.
- 52:49Speaker 2: The easiest, most glamorous, most hit, fun. The money rolls in.
- 52:52Speaker 2: Hang out with your friend. Yeah. And then she's a stylist,
- 52:57Speaker 2: and they meet. But they don't have on-screen chemistry.
- 53:04Speaker 3: And Eddie Murphy is- Is her dad. And David Duchovny.
- 53:07Speaker 3: So they're like- David.
- 53:09Speaker 2: Duchovny, it was more about the mom, Julia Dreyfuss, being
- 53:14Speaker 2: almost overly excited that he was dating a black girl.
- 53:18Speaker 2: That's why it's called Youth People. And that then was
- 53:21Speaker 2: offensive to her.
- 53:22Speaker 3: Oh, got it.
- 53:22Speaker 2: That she was like, I'm not a doll.
- 53:24Speaker 3: I'd watch this.
- 53:25Speaker 2: And Julia was great. And now, like I said, there's
- 53:28Speaker 2: some solid, really solid jokes in the beginning. Yeah. But,
- 53:31Speaker 2: you know, yes, it has a Hollywood ending. It's a
- 53:33Speaker 2: ridiculous whatever. But, no, they didn't really have chemistry. But
- 53:37Speaker 2: I thought they were both... well cast in their own part,
- 53:41Speaker 2: but together. But the whole point is that that's what
- 53:44Speaker 2: the whole story is, is that you wouldn't put these
- 53:46Speaker 2: two together. But in thinking that they wouldn't go together,
- 53:49Speaker 2: they literally didn't have like a sexual chemistry.
- 53:51Speaker 3: Oh, okay. Well, I'm going to watch that.
- 53:53Speaker 2: Okay. So let's talk about Valentine's Day. Happy Valentine's Day, everybody. Oh,
- 53:57Speaker 2: thank you.
- 53:57Speaker 3: This is actually, this is Valentine's Day. This will be
- 54:00Speaker 3: released on Valentine's Day.
- 54:02Speaker 2: As I just ripped on two romantic comedies.
- 54:04Speaker 3: I know, yeah. That's probably fun stuff to watch on
- 54:06Speaker 3: Valentine's Day. Well, I have something that I would like
- 54:09Speaker 3: to share with you.
- 54:09Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 54:11Speaker 3: Because I went on, because I did some research for
- 54:13Speaker 3: the podcast.
- 54:15Speaker 2: Yes, thank you.
- 54:16Speaker 3: Because I wanted to be like Jonah Hill and his.
- 54:18Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 54:18Speaker 3: And Hallmark, you go to hallmark.com and they will, if
- 54:22Speaker 3: you have trouble writing in the card, like what to
- 54:25Speaker 3: write to your significant other.
- 54:26Speaker 2: Which you have to do that, everyone.
- 54:28Speaker 3: Hallmark will tell you things to write. They'll give you
- 54:31Speaker 3: a list of things to write in your Valentine's card.
- 54:35Speaker 3: And they give you different ones. If you're giving a
- 54:38Speaker 3: Valentine's card to a single friend.
- 54:40Speaker 2: Oh, a Galentine. Yeah.
- 54:42Speaker 3: Here are some things you could write to a single friend.
- 54:44Speaker 2: Okay.
- 54:46Speaker 3: And the countdown to settling for each other continues. Happy
- 54:50Speaker 3: Valentine's Day.
- 54:51Speaker 2: Oh, that's because it's the way for a single person
- 54:55Speaker 2: sometimes to feel great about being single.
- 54:58Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 54:58Speaker 2: Which you should. Is that I didn't settle. Look at
- 55:01Speaker 2: my friend with that fat fuck of a husband.
- 55:03Speaker 4: Right.
- 55:04Speaker 2: Yeah, sure she's married, but I didn't settle. Okay.
- 55:08Speaker 3: This one seems almost kind of mean, right? I'll share
- 55:11Speaker 3: some candy with you. You know, it's almost like I
- 55:15Speaker 3: know you have nobody else.
- 55:16Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know.
- 55:17Speaker 3: So I'll share it with you. There's a bunch. Now,
- 55:20Speaker 3: here's another one that if I were giving you a
- 55:23Speaker 3: Valentine's card, this is for friends.
- 55:25Speaker 1: Okay.
- 55:26Speaker 3: This is what I would, Dave Holmark suggested I write
- 55:28Speaker 3: to you.
- 55:29Speaker 2: Like if Ashton Kutcher was going to give it to
- 55:31Speaker 2: Reese Witherspoon before he declares his love.
- 55:34Speaker 4: Go ahead.
- 55:34Speaker 3: Yes, exactly. Okay.
- 55:36Speaker 2: So we're just platonic friends.
- 55:37Speaker 3: Thanks for being the loyal and caring friend. I love you. Okay.
- 55:42Speaker 3: That's just a nice one.
- 55:43Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 55:44Speaker 3: Oh, you know what they call Friends Valentine's Day?
- 55:47Speaker 2: What?
- 55:47Speaker 3: Palentine's Day.
- 55:49Speaker 2: Oh.
- 55:49Speaker 3: I did not know that.
- 55:51Speaker 2: I didn't know that either.
- 55:52Speaker 3: I actually thought it was a typo.
- 55:54Speaker 2: It said- Because there's Galentine's Day.
- 55:55Speaker 3: Yeah, and this is Palentine's Day, like just friends.
- 55:58Speaker 2: Okay.
- 55:59Speaker 3: How come they haven't made that movie yet? Wait, Cole
- 56:02Speaker 3: Reese with us from the National Kitchen. Let's make Palentine's Day.
- 56:06Speaker 3: Glad Palentine's Day is a thing so I can wish
- 56:08Speaker 3: you a happy one.
- 56:09Speaker 2: If you and I are Palentine's still in the year
- 56:13Speaker 2: of 2025, we are going to screw on Valentine's Day. Oh,
- 56:18Speaker 2: that- I just saw another movie. Really? Trailer. Yeah. Of
- 56:22Speaker 2: a beautiful blonde girl who runs into her old boyfriend
- 56:26Speaker 2: who now is married with kids.
- 56:28Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 56:28Speaker 2: Who said he never wanted kids. Right. So then she
- 56:30Speaker 2: goes to her friends.
- 56:32Speaker 3: What movie is this?
- 56:32Speaker 2: It's coming out. Oh. She goes to her friends and
- 56:36Speaker 2: she goes, now he never wanted kids. And then the girlfriends,
- 56:40Speaker 2: who would never be her friends, by the way.
- 56:41Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 56:42Speaker 2: Because it's like the casting, whatever. Again, not the same sexuality,
- 56:46Speaker 2: not the same vibe. So then they say.
- 56:50Speaker 2: Well, you don't need like what we need to do
- 56:52Speaker 2: is just get you somebody to have a child with,
- 56:55Speaker 2: like just get some sperm, you know. And they don't say, hey,
- 56:58Speaker 2: let's look into finding someone with some good SATs where
- 57:02Speaker 2: you could buy the sperm.
- 57:03Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 57:04Speaker 2: And like, you know, maybe he's good at math. Maybe
- 57:06Speaker 2: he's a certain height. No. They go, we're going to
- 57:08Speaker 2: have a party and invite all these guys. And you
- 57:11Speaker 2: just screw them all in one night.
- 57:13Speaker 3: Wait, what movie is it? What is this called?
- 57:16Speaker 2: This is coming out. One of the comments under it
- 57:19Speaker 2: was like, and they banned It's Cold Outside?
- 57:23Speaker 3: Oh my God, that's funny. Yeah, that sounds like a
- 57:27Speaker 3: gang bang or something. That's not right.
- 57:29Speaker 2: But she's wearing a dress the whole time, but I
- 57:31Speaker 2: guess screwing someone in the bathroom. And then the guys
- 57:34Speaker 2: all realize, wait a minute.
- 57:36Speaker 3: Who is the actress in this movie?
- 57:38Speaker 2: She's the pretty blonde that was in... What's the movie
- 57:42Speaker 2: with the redhead guy? Billions.
- 57:44Speaker 3: His wife. Oh, yes. Okay.
- 57:46Speaker 2: So this is what happens when you're pretty and blonde,
- 57:48Speaker 2: but you don't have a baby yet, and your clock
- 57:51Speaker 2: is ticking, and no one thinks to.
- 57:52Speaker 3: You gotta bang every guy at the party.
- 57:54Speaker 2: Yeah, so they invite a bunch of different guys there,
- 57:56Speaker 2: all different types, and then you're just gonna screw them all,
- 57:59Speaker 2: and hopefully one of their sperms will stick, and you'll never.
- 58:02Speaker 3: Know- Oh, so you let all of them- Yeah.
- 58:05Speaker 2: And then, and then when that one hits or whatever,
- 58:08Speaker 2: you're just going to raise the baby by yourself because
- 58:10Speaker 2: you don't have any way of knowing that it is.
- 58:12Speaker 2: So then you don't have to include that guy or whatever.
- 58:15Speaker 3: Remember how upset everyone got when Murphy Brown had a
- 58:18Speaker 3: baby on her own? Oh my God. I mean, we haven't,
- 58:22Speaker 3: America hasn't been that upset since they made the green
- 58:25Speaker 3: M & M unfuckable. People are so upset. Anyway, that
- 58:31Speaker 3: movie is.
- 58:32Speaker 2: Coming out too. All right, is there anything more on
- 58:34Speaker 2: your Valentine's list?
- 58:35Speaker 3: No, I mean, I can give this to a hundred
- 58:36Speaker 3: of them. I'm going to give you one more Palentine. Okay, yeah. Okay,
- 58:41Speaker 3: here's one more Palentine. Soulmates aren't just a romantic thing.
- 58:46Speaker 3: Thanks for being my friend and my soulmate. I want
- 58:49Speaker 3: you to know if I gave you a Valentine's card,
- 58:50Speaker 3: that's what I would write.
- 58:51Speaker 2: Sex and the City did that. They said, why do
- 58:54Speaker 2: we have to look for a guy? What if we're
- 58:55Speaker 2: all each other's soulmates? Yeah. Yeah. But I think that's
- 58:58Speaker 2: also weird with a friend because I think another friend
- 59:01Speaker 2: might be like. Yeah. I don't know if I want
- 59:04Speaker 2: this pressure. I always tell this story because with my
- 59:08Speaker 2: sister and I, we lived together before she met her husband.
- 59:12Speaker 2: She met her husband like a year and a half
- 59:13Speaker 2: before I met Peter. And we lived together and we
- 59:16Speaker 2: had so much fun. She was my pretty blonde sister
- 59:20Speaker 2: who'd come to every comedy show. So every comedian was like,
- 59:23Speaker 2: oh my God, she's so nice.
- 59:25Speaker 3: And what year is this? This is late 90s.
- 59:26Speaker 2: This is back in going out.
- 59:27Speaker 3: This is late. Going out. Friday night you went out.
- 59:30Speaker 3: Saturday night you went out.
- 59:31Speaker 2: We lived in an apartment in Brentwood. We just had
- 59:33Speaker 2: so much fun. She was the lawyer. I was the
- 59:34Speaker 2: comedian realtor. And we had a nice apartment. And we
- 59:38Speaker 2: just were very happy with ourselves.
- 59:40Speaker 3: I just read an article, this is true, about the
- 59:43Speaker 3: going out top is coming back.
- 59:45Speaker 2: What's that top?
- 59:46Speaker 3: I don't know. Whatever it is. But they said everyone
- 59:48Speaker 3: had one in the 90s. Whatever going out top. They
- 59:50Speaker 3: had a top for going out. Okay.
- 59:52Speaker 2: My going out top was the bodysuit.
- 59:55Speaker 3: Oh, that's.
- 59:56Speaker 2: But that wasn't good for getting together with someone after.
- 59:59Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:00:00Speaker 2: But it sucked you in. Really nice cleavage. Then I'd
- 1:00:04Speaker 2: wear these jeans and shoe boots. Oh. And a guest belt.
- 1:00:07Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:00:08Speaker 2: That was my college going out outfit.
- 1:00:09Speaker 3: And it was something over, like a jacket over this bodysuit?
- 1:00:12Speaker 2: I can't remember if I needed it. I don't think
- 1:00:14Speaker 2: I needed a jacket because it was long sleeve and
- 1:00:16Speaker 2: I wanted to show all my assets.
- 1:00:18Speaker 3: Oh, I get you.
- 1:00:19Speaker 2: I get you. And no one back then, a flat
- 1:00:22Speaker 2: ass was not talked about. So I didn't think I
- 1:00:24Speaker 2: should get a little peplum jacket and balance that out.
- 1:00:26Speaker 2: I didn't have to even think about that.
- 1:00:28Speaker 3: Gotcha.
- 1:00:29Speaker 2: People just looking at my face, you know? And so
- 1:00:32Speaker 2: then my other outfit was my romper, my halter romper
- 1:00:39Speaker 2: from Express. That was a killer one. I also had
- 1:00:41Speaker 2: a couple spaghetti strap dresses.
- 1:00:43Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:00:44Speaker 2: That I still kind of like to wear.
- 1:00:45Speaker 3: You never had the butterfly shirt? Remember how hot that was?
- 1:00:48Speaker 3: It was an actual butterfly. That I think Mariah— where, like,
- 1:00:54Speaker 3: the wings of the butterfly would, like, cover your breasts.
- 1:00:57Speaker 2: No, but that sounds cute.
- 1:00:58Speaker 3: You know the shirt I'm telling you about?
- 1:00:59Speaker 2: No.
- 1:01:00Speaker 3: I think Mariah— thank you. I think Mariah Carey wore it in, like,
- 1:01:03Speaker 3: a video. And everybody— so much so that in this article
- 1:01:07Speaker 3: I was reading, they showed pictures of, like, Paris Hilton
- 1:01:10Speaker 3: and all. Anyone who was hot in the late 90s
- 1:01:13Speaker 3: had that butterfly top.
- 1:01:14Speaker 2: Also, I've never had a great stomach. So I could
- 1:01:17Speaker 2: never do the low rider jeans and show the pelvic bones.
- 1:01:23Speaker 3: Oh, okay.
- 1:01:23Speaker 2: That was never my jam.
- 1:01:25Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:01:27Speaker 2: Or the low ride skirt, the big flowy skirt. That's
- 1:01:30Speaker 2: awful on me because then two little ankles are at
- 1:01:33Speaker 2: the bottom and the stomach isn't good. But I would
- 1:01:36Speaker 2: still make the mistake and buy something like that, wear
- 1:01:38Speaker 2: it once, and go, Heather, how many times do I
- 1:01:40Speaker 2: have to tell you? This isn't right for your body.
- 1:01:42Speaker 2: I don't care that it's in or not.
- 1:01:45Speaker 3: While we're on fashion right now, can I tell you
- 1:01:47Speaker 3: another thing? Someone wrote me on Instagram about you.
- 1:01:51Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:01:52Speaker 3: It's not a bad thing.
- 1:01:53Speaker 2: All right.
- 1:01:53Speaker 3: They said, does Heather know that the new red carpet
- 1:01:56Speaker 3: pose is not hand on the hip?
- 1:01:58Speaker 2: Mm-hmm.
- 1:01:59Speaker 3: It's hands down at your side, just staring straight ahead.
- 1:02:02Speaker 3: And then they showed me, sent me a bunch of
- 1:02:04Speaker 3: pictures of people on the red carpet as of the
- 1:02:06Speaker 3: last couple of weeks.
- 1:02:07Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:02:07Speaker 3: And everyone's got their hands at their sides, just looking
- 1:02:10Speaker 3: straight at the camera. No more hands on the hips.
- 1:02:14Speaker 3: How do you feel about that?
- 1:02:16Speaker 2: I was taught hands on the hips.
- 1:02:18Speaker 3: There's a photo of me at four. Okay. Okay.
- 1:02:22Speaker 2: It is the most flattering look for my body. And
- 1:02:25Speaker 2: every time I try to do something different, it's not
- 1:02:27Speaker 2: the look I love. But my photos are going nowhere.
- 1:02:31Speaker 2: So I think next time.
- 1:02:33Speaker 3: Just hands down.
- 1:02:34Speaker 2: I'm going to do something crazy. Oh. I'm just going
- 1:02:36Speaker 2: to do like crazy faces. Listen, the only time it
- 1:02:39Speaker 2: went viral is when I faded on stage. I'm going
- 1:02:41Speaker 2: to do a stroke face.
- 1:02:43Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:02:43Speaker 2: Stroke faces. Have people wonder. Right. Have me fake trip.
- 1:02:47Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:02:47Speaker 2: Have me pull out a tampon and wrangle it and
- 1:02:50Speaker 2: throw it. I don't know. Do something different.
- 1:02:52Speaker 3: Go full Whitney Cummings. Yeah.
- 1:02:54Speaker 2: Just be like.
- 1:02:55Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah. I can't wear. My tits are coming out.
- 1:02:59Speaker 2: Oh, speaking of her, I have to tell you what
- 1:03:02Speaker 2: Peter's been doing.
- 1:03:04Speaker 4: Oh.
- 1:03:04Speaker 2: So we have the rats that have gotten into our
- 1:03:10Speaker 2: pool equipment for some reason. Oh, yes. Peter told me
- 1:03:12Speaker 2: about that. So he set a– I think all the
- 1:03:16Speaker 2: Peter people are going to love this story, okay? So
- 1:03:18Speaker 2: he set a rat trap. Yeah. And we've done this
- 1:03:22Speaker 2: now a few times.
- 1:03:23Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:03:23Speaker 2: The rats get in there. But they don't die or anything.
- 1:03:26Speaker 2: They're not hurt.
- 1:03:27Speaker 3: Oh, they get in the trap.
- 1:03:27Speaker 2: Yeah. In the trap. Then we take the trap up.
- 1:03:31Speaker 3: Up to the mountains.
- 1:03:31Speaker 2: Where Whitney lives. Oh. And we release them there. Oh.
- 1:03:35Speaker 3: So you see.
- 1:03:37Speaker 2: Oh, no. But the last time we.
- 1:03:39Speaker 3: Whitney's like an animal. She's probably got now six pet
- 1:03:41Speaker 3: rats because you guys.
- 1:03:42Speaker 2: She loves them.
- 1:03:43Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:03:43Speaker 2: And I said, look, this is a more expensive area.
- 1:03:46Speaker 2: It's wild. But the last time we went, the rat
- 1:03:49Speaker 2: almost like. If you've ever taken like a pet to
- 1:03:52Speaker 2: the vet and your pet knows and so they don't
- 1:03:54Speaker 2: want to get out of the car, the rat, I
- 1:03:56Speaker 2: don't know if it's the same rat, but the rat
- 1:03:58Speaker 2: didn't want to get out.
- 1:03:59Speaker 3: Really?
- 1:03:59Speaker 2: Did not want to get out. And I'm like screaming
- 1:04:02Speaker 2: because I'm like, oh my God, like is it coming? Yeah.
- 1:04:03Speaker 2: And this guy's walking by and I'm like, okay, I
- 1:04:07Speaker 2: got out. And he goes, no, he jumped back into
- 1:04:09Speaker 2: the part of your truck. He wants to come.
- 1:04:11Speaker 3: Home with you.
- 1:04:12Speaker 2: He got it.
- 1:04:13Speaker 3: Oh, well now you got it.
- 1:04:14Speaker 2: So now I'm like, oh my God. So- I don't
- 1:04:18Speaker 2: know if the rat could have survived, but the rat,
- 1:04:20Speaker 2: I think, came back to our street. Oh, okay. We
- 1:04:23Speaker 2: can't get rid of it.
- 1:04:24Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:04:27Speaker 2: There you go with that fun story.
- 1:04:28Speaker 3: That is a fun story.
- 1:04:30Speaker 2: Little follow-up on the Amy Robach and TJ Holmes. As
- 1:04:35Speaker 2: you know, they're done.
- 1:04:36Speaker 3: I mean, they're getting a lot of mileage out of
- 1:04:38Speaker 3: this one.
- 1:04:39Speaker 2: But people said she got more than he did.
- 1:04:42Speaker 3: Oh, you mean financially?
- 1:04:43Speaker 2: And they're like, is it because he was more of
- 1:04:45Speaker 2: like a moral nuisance than she?
- 1:04:48Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:04:48Speaker 2: Because he had multiple affairs and she just had the
- 1:04:50Speaker 2: one with him. But in what I think, it's just
- 1:04:53Speaker 2: that she was there longer.
- 1:04:54Speaker 3: And she's more known. I think, I mean, before this whole,
- 1:04:58Speaker 3: I mean, I knew who Amy Robach was, but I
- 1:05:00Speaker 3: didn't know who he was. Yeah. So I think she's
- 1:05:02Speaker 3: just more known.
- 1:05:04Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:05:04Speaker 3: It's a big deal.
- 1:05:05Speaker 2: That's it.
- 1:05:06Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:05:08Speaker 2: I heart has not announced her podcast yet, but I'm
- 1:05:10Speaker 2: sure it's coming.
- 1:05:11Speaker 3: Oh, it's coming. It's coming. I, I mean, I know
- 1:05:14Speaker 3: I was kind of on the side of like on
- 1:05:17Speaker 3: this one, like, I don't understand why having sex with
- 1:05:20Speaker 3: somebody gets you fired, but I guess that's the day
- 1:05:22Speaker 3: and age of like, they can't take any chances at
- 1:05:25Speaker 3: this point.
- 1:05:26Speaker 2: I think also when they did the investigation, people were like,
- 1:05:29Speaker 2: it was, and the fact that he had two other affairs, but,
- 1:05:35Speaker 2: He had three affairs while working at the Today Show.
- 1:05:37Speaker 3: So what? Good morning, America. Yeah, I know. But it
- 1:05:41Speaker 3: was nothing against anyone's will or anything. I know, but it's.
- 1:05:44Speaker 2: Just like, where's the expression? You don't fish where you
- 1:05:48Speaker 2: shit or whatever.
- 1:05:48Speaker 3: Yeah, shit where you eat or something, which is always horrible.
- 1:05:51Speaker 2: You don't fish off the company dock and you don't... Oh, I.
- 1:05:53Speaker 3: Never heard that one.
- 1:05:54Speaker 2: You don't shit where you eat.
- 1:05:54Speaker 3: Shit where you eat.
- 1:05:55Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:05:56Speaker 3: It was always gross to me, but yeah, that's what
- 1:05:57Speaker 3: people always say.
- 1:05:58Speaker 2: Like, just come on, dude. Like, again, it's just so lazy.
- 1:06:02Speaker 2: All right, all of this is true. But it's not
- 1:06:06Speaker 2: respectful to the people that you work with. Right. Whether
- 1:06:08Speaker 2: it's a movie set, whatever, it distracts from the work.
- 1:06:12Speaker 4: Okay.
- 1:06:12Speaker 2: That people are having an affair, people have to be,
- 1:06:14Speaker 2: you know, forced to cover up, people, things happened. Yeah.
- 1:06:18Speaker 2: So I think it was all of that, that they
- 1:06:20Speaker 2: were just like, no. And then also just, What I
- 1:06:22Speaker 2: always said, it's like the show is Good Morning America.
- 1:06:25Speaker 2: It's supposed to be like good, clean fun.
- 1:06:28Speaker 3: Yeah, that's probably why it had to go.
- 1:06:29Speaker 2: And now the magic's revealed. We realize you guys are
- 1:06:32Speaker 2: all screwing each other. And I just think.
- 1:06:34Speaker 3: Third hour, too. They're like third hour, which that's really
- 1:06:36Speaker 3: got to be cutesy fun.
- 1:06:38Speaker 2: Yeah, it's light.
- 1:06:39Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:06:41Speaker 2: I said I wasn't going to talk about Britney anymore.
- 1:06:43Speaker 3: I can't even.
- 1:06:44Speaker 2: But I have to just tell you what's going on.
- 1:06:46Speaker 3: Well, I mean, I know what's going on.
- 1:06:48Speaker 2: So TMZ and all these people reported that her managers and...
- 1:06:52Speaker 2: They were going to go to a home and like
- 1:06:54Speaker 2: an Airbnb and they were going to have an intervention
- 1:06:56Speaker 2: there where there she would have like one-on-one care, get
- 1:06:59Speaker 2: her meds right, some therapy, whatever. She then posted this
- 1:07:06Speaker 2: dancing thing. I think she did a talking one recently.
- 1:07:09Speaker 2: I'm not sure. But she did write this where she said,
- 1:07:13Speaker 2: this week in the news it said that I almost
- 1:07:14Speaker 2: died and that I have a manager and doctors. I
- 1:07:17Speaker 2: don't have a management team nor will I ever again
- 1:07:19Speaker 2: in my life. I don't have medical doctors. I take
- 1:07:21Speaker 2: Prozac for depression and that's about it. I'm an extremely
- 1:07:24Speaker 2: boring person. It frustrates me to know that any news
- 1:07:27Speaker 2: outlet would say any of this. It's worse than a
- 1:07:29Speaker 2: cruel joke because people actually believe the stuff and all
- 1:07:32Speaker 2: of my efforts in getting better with my little routine
- 1:07:34Speaker 2: of prayer and therapy seems to not count for anything
- 1:07:37Speaker 2: when people can say things that are incredibly wrong. Anyways,
- 1:07:40Speaker 2: change the subject. Enough drama. I'm into diamond gowns and
- 1:07:44Speaker 2: funky fashion at the moment. Good morning.
- 1:07:47Speaker 3: See, up until right at the very end, it seemed
- 1:07:49Speaker 3: like that was a lucid, pretty good, and then at
- 1:07:52Speaker 3: the end it just goes every time.
- 1:07:54Speaker 2: Well, people, there's theories that she's not writing it, that
- 1:07:57Speaker 2: people write this for her. I just think, you know,
- 1:08:03Speaker 2: but she has to have the Instagram because when people
- 1:08:06Speaker 2: have been this famous for this long, starting at 16, whatever,
- 1:08:11Speaker 2: if she's not going to perform on stage, which I
- 1:08:13Speaker 2: don't know that will ever happen again, as you predicted,
- 1:08:15Speaker 2: then she's got to have it. She's got to have
- 1:08:18Speaker 2: it from this, but she's like turned off the comments
- 1:08:21Speaker 2: and I assume she likes reading the comments. So it's like,
- 1:08:23Speaker 2: and she's just going to keep doing like these really
- 1:08:25Speaker 2: awful outfits and dancing around. That's what she likes. That's
- 1:08:29Speaker 2: her routine for her day. That is her routine. Yeah.
- 1:08:32Speaker 2: Get up, try on some clothes, um, you know, I
- 1:08:36Speaker 2: just can imagine like the pile of clothes in her
- 1:08:38Speaker 2: room and like, I hope someone comes back and hangs
- 1:08:40Speaker 2: them up, but whatever, trying to close, spin around. That's that.
- 1:08:43Speaker 3: See, and that apology, whatever, not an apology, her statement
- 1:08:47Speaker 3: that she just made there. If she had done that
- 1:08:49Speaker 3: to camera speaking, then that'd be like, okay, maybe there
- 1:08:55Speaker 3: is something to this. But the fact that she's not
- 1:08:57Speaker 3: is weird. And I mean, I feel like we talk about.
- 1:09:00Speaker 2: This non-stop it's like it's getting exhausting because like I've
- 1:09:04Speaker 2: said before we're never gonna know the truth right so
- 1:09:06Speaker 2: if you want to continue to follow her follow her
- 1:09:09Speaker 2: if you don't yeah wish her well like wish her
- 1:09:12Speaker 2: well and and if all she does for the rest
- 1:09:14Speaker 2: of her life is post on Instagram of her dancing
- 1:09:18Speaker 2: and wearing a like cheap outfits till she's 80 years old. Yeah.
- 1:09:23Speaker 2: I wouldn't be surprised.
- 1:09:24Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:09:24Speaker 2: That's okay. She's already accomplished so much as a 40
- 1:09:27Speaker 2: year old woman. This might be it for her. Right.
- 1:09:30Speaker 2: And that's what we have to accept and just love
- 1:09:32Speaker 2: her for that.
- 1:09:33Speaker 3: I want to know. Yeah. I know you've probably discussed
- 1:09:35Speaker 3: this on other podcasts, but I want to know if
- 1:09:39Speaker 3: the people who fought so hard, the free Brittany movement
- 1:09:42Speaker 3: and all that, all of those people who are out
- 1:09:44Speaker 3: there to get the, all of this stuff lifted and whatever,
- 1:09:47Speaker 3: I want to know if they are happy with where
- 1:09:49Speaker 3: it's gotten to. Or at this point they're like, maybe
- 1:09:54Speaker 3: we were wrong.
- 1:09:56Speaker 2: I don't think that they're going to say maybe we
- 1:09:58Speaker 2: were wrong. Right. Because I think the truth is some
- 1:10:03Speaker 2: people argue she's not really free. But it appears that
- 1:10:06Speaker 2: she has more freedom with this life than she did
- 1:10:11Speaker 2: prior to them doing their movement.
- 1:10:14Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:10:14Speaker 2: I think they hoped for her to have a better
- 1:10:17Speaker 2: existence than just staying at her house and wearing bad
- 1:10:21Speaker 2: outfits and spinning around.
- 1:10:22Speaker 3: Right, right.
- 1:10:22Speaker 2: But like I said, this is what she's happy doing.
- 1:10:26Speaker 2: And a lot of people are happy staying at home
- 1:10:28Speaker 2: by themselves all the time and just being online. And
- 1:10:31Speaker 2: just being online. So that's all it is.
- 1:10:35Speaker 3: But the Samashkari.
- 1:10:37Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:10:37Speaker 3: He went to, I saw he went to some red
- 1:10:39Speaker 3: carpet event by himself, some movie premiere or whatever. And
- 1:10:42Speaker 3: he was loving it. Of course. And people were recognizing him.
- 1:10:44Speaker 3: He's an actor. But he's not. He didn't do anything. Like,
- 1:10:47Speaker 3: so I thought that was a huge.
- 1:10:48Speaker 2: Well, he wants to be an actor. He's pursuing acting.
- 1:10:50Speaker 3: I thought that was like a huge red flag. Like,
- 1:10:52Speaker 3: this guy just wants to be famous. And, you know,
- 1:10:55Speaker 3: there's how.
- 1:10:55Speaker 2: It is. Do you think it's, listen, do you think
- 1:10:58Speaker 2: it's fun to be married to Britney Spears?
- 1:10:59Speaker 3: No.
- 1:10:59Speaker 2: No. No.
- 1:11:01Speaker 3: No, of course not.
- 1:11:02Speaker 2: You're with someone that does have a mental illness, whether
- 1:11:05Speaker 2: it's someone controlled or not.
- 1:11:06Speaker 4: Right.
- 1:11:07Speaker 2: Just like you were with someone who had some other
- 1:11:09Speaker 2: kind of illness. It's hard when your partner has an illness.
- 1:11:12Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:11:12Speaker 2: And he is with someone who has an illness.
- 1:11:16Speaker 3: But I think he got into this relationship when that
- 1:11:19Speaker 3: was no secret.
- 1:11:20Speaker 2: But I also think people can fall in love with
- 1:11:22Speaker 2: someone who might be ill. And so I'm just saying.
- 1:11:27Speaker 3: Another Reese Witherspoon, Ashton Kutcher movie. It's called I Am Ill,
- 1:11:32Speaker 3: and Ashton Kutcher still accepts.
- 1:11:36Speaker 2: I mean, every relationship is different. Like, it doesn't mean that,
- 1:11:39Speaker 2: would we, I don't think anybody wants him to leave her. Right.
- 1:11:43Speaker 2: Whether it's not completely a genuine love or not.
- 1:11:46Speaker 3: No, no, no, I don't think.
- 1:11:47Speaker 2: At least she has somebody that will take her to Joey's. Yeah.
- 1:11:50Speaker 2: And next time she goes, don't take a photo of
- 1:11:53Speaker 2: her and let her enjoy.
- 1:11:54Speaker 4: Right.
- 1:11:55Speaker 2: Those little, you know, lettuce tacos.
- 1:11:58Speaker 3: And please go to Joey's because I go to Joey's
- 1:12:01Speaker 3: a lot and I love it. And I would, God,
- 1:12:03Speaker 3: if I was so Britney, I don't think I would
- 1:12:04Speaker 3: have taken my phone out though.
- 1:12:05Speaker 4: No.
- 1:12:06Speaker 3: Not that kind of guy.
- 1:12:07Speaker 2: Now we know not to.
- 1:12:08Speaker 3: I won't. No, I wouldn't do it to her.
- 1:12:09Speaker 2: I won't. Yeah. Okay. We know now, Sex and City,
- 1:12:15Speaker 2: we have photos, that Aiden is back. They are going,
- 1:12:21Speaker 2: they have kissing scenes. They have luncheon scenes.
- 1:12:25Speaker 3: It's on.
- 1:12:26Speaker 2: It's great. Now, I have done so many stories.
- 1:12:29Speaker 3: I am a little surprised that they're showing this much
- 1:12:31Speaker 3: of it, though. I mean, that you know that it's
- 1:12:33Speaker 3: a full-on hookup. There's got to be some sort of
- 1:12:36Speaker 3: plot twist.
- 1:12:38Speaker 2: It could be a dream. It could be, you know,
- 1:12:42Speaker 2: we don't know.
- 1:12:43Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:12:43Speaker 2: But- Um, I remember what I predicted last time. So
- 1:12:49Speaker 2: when I thought.
- 1:12:49Speaker 3: That Big was going to die.
- 1:12:50Speaker 2: No, that when I, when we knew he was kind
- 1:12:52Speaker 2: of coming back or I thought he would come back.
- 1:12:55Speaker 3: That Aiden was coming back.
- 1:12:56Speaker 2: Yes. That, that, that she, he will be separated from
- 1:13:00Speaker 2: his wife.
- 1:13:01Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:13:02Speaker 2: They will start to date and she will then be
- 1:13:06Speaker 2: screwing two guys at the same time, the podcast producer
- 1:13:10Speaker 2: and Aiden.
- 1:13:10Speaker 3: Also, you think the podcast producer is going to be,
- 1:13:12Speaker 3: play more of a role.
- 1:13:14Speaker 2: Yes.
- 1:13:14Speaker 3: Because he hadn't, nothing had happened up at the end
- 1:13:17Speaker 3: of season one with him yet, right?
- 1:13:19Speaker 2: Yeah, she's going to be screwing two of the guys
- 1:13:21Speaker 2: at the same time and she's going to get a UTI,
- 1:13:23Speaker 2: which happens when you have two different dicks.
- 1:13:25Speaker 3: Okay, sure, sure.
- 1:13:26Speaker 2: So that's something she hasn't dealt with since, you know, 2002.
- 1:13:28Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:13:29Speaker 2: So that's going to be some funny banter at lunch.
- 1:13:32Speaker 3: Cranberry juice or something.
- 1:13:33Speaker 2: Yeah, cranberry juice and conversations and, Charlotte being like.
- 1:13:36Speaker 3: Charlotte's gonna.
- 1:13:38Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah. And then, you know, lesbian talk from... You know,
- 1:13:41Speaker 2: one thing that I haven't gotten since I've been with
- 1:13:43Speaker 2: Che Diaz is a UTI. Oh, that would be... Yeah,
- 1:13:46Speaker 2: you don't get it from.
- 1:13:47Speaker 3: You don't?
- 1:13:48Speaker 2: No, it's about a different dick going in you.
- 1:13:51Speaker 3: Oh, no. Think about that girl at that party who
- 1:13:53Speaker 3: has to fuck all those guys. That movie. That movie
- 1:13:57Speaker 3: called UTI. Oh, no.
- 1:14:01Speaker 2: So... Anyway, that's what's going to happen. But in the end,
- 1:14:06Speaker 2: in the end.
- 1:14:07Speaker 3: There's got to be more than a UTI.
- 1:14:09Speaker 2: In the end, I think he goes back to his wife.
- 1:14:12Speaker 2: Or there's a moment where she has to be with
- 1:14:14Speaker 2: his three boys. And she's befundled because she's the Ashton Kutcher.
- 1:14:18Speaker 2: She doesn't know how to be around dirty boys. And
- 1:14:20Speaker 2: then she goes to, you know, Miranda, give me some help.
- 1:14:25Speaker 2: You had a son that was always jerking off. I
- 1:14:27Speaker 2: don't know what to do with these. But I don't
- 1:14:28Speaker 2: know what to do with cleats. Just like she didn't
- 1:14:30Speaker 2: know what to do with his dog.
- 1:14:31Speaker 3: Yes, exactly. Yeah. When does it start? I'm so excited
- 1:14:35Speaker 3: about it. I need another good binge watch or fun
- 1:14:39Speaker 3: binge watch.
- 1:14:39Speaker 2: It won't be a binge. They give it to the
- 1:14:41Speaker 2: piecemeal once a week, which I like.
- 1:14:43Speaker 3: Oh, that's right. They do do it once a week.
- 1:14:44Speaker 2: I don't want it to be a bingeable thing.
- 1:14:45Speaker 3: I'm good with that too. Yeah.
- 1:14:47Speaker 2: Okay. So the girl, Leonardo DiCaprio's model, which- I said
- 1:14:53Speaker 2: they were dating. Then someone said, you don't know that
- 1:14:55Speaker 2: they're dating. Anyway, she deleted her Instagram. She couldn't take it.
- 1:15:00Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:15:01Speaker 2: And this beautiful Israeli model with red hair. I just
- 1:15:04Speaker 2: think that's the ultimate flex.
- 1:15:06Speaker 3: What is?
- 1:15:07Speaker 2: That you are at a level of youth or success
- 1:15:10Speaker 2: where you could delete your Instagram.
- 1:15:11Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:15:11Speaker 2: Because I could never.
- 1:15:12Speaker 3: But what about it never comes back? That's the flex.
- 1:15:15Speaker 3: It's coming back. This will come back.
- 1:15:17Speaker 2: Coming back.
- 1:15:17Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:15:18Speaker 2: But do you remember when... Charlie Sheen deleted his Twitter
- 1:15:24Speaker 2: when he was going crazy with the Tiger Bud. Tiger Blood.
- 1:15:27Speaker 2: And he had like 800,000 followers or 1.8 million.
- 1:15:31Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 1:15:32Speaker 2: And he just went crazy one night and he deleted it.
- 1:15:34Speaker 3: It was the greatest.
- 1:15:34Speaker 2: Back then, no.
- 1:15:36Speaker 3: It was the greatest two months I think we've ever had.
- 1:15:39Speaker 3: We were on Chelsea at the time and he just
- 1:15:41Speaker 3: kept delivering. Like videos.
- 1:15:46Speaker 2: Tiger Blood. Winning.
- 1:15:47Speaker 3: Remember?
- 1:15:47Speaker 2: Yeah. I'm saying just awful stuff about Chuck Lorre like
- 1:15:52Speaker 2: every day.
- 1:15:53Speaker 3: Everything.
- 1:15:53Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:15:54Speaker 3: And poor John Cryer. Like, this guy's terrible. I mean, oh,
- 1:15:58Speaker 3: it's just the worst. But so exciting.
- 1:16:01Speaker 2: And then he went on tour.
- 1:16:03Speaker 3: He went on tour.
- 1:16:04Speaker 2: He went on a live nation tour that Jeff Wills
- 1:16:07Speaker 2: put together.
- 1:16:08Speaker 3: Yes.
- 1:16:10Speaker 2: And again, people went and were like.
- 1:16:12Speaker 3: But it ended quickly. People were like, what is happening here?
- 1:16:16Speaker 2: I feel it's like some Real Housewives when they start
- 1:16:18Speaker 2: to like go on tour. People are like, okay, like
- 1:16:20Speaker 2: I wanted to meet you, but I don't know that
- 1:16:22Speaker 2: I get to see an hour and a half. Yeah.
- 1:16:24Speaker 2: Like I want, I just want the photo.
- 1:16:26Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:16:26Speaker 2: I just want the photo. I don't need to like.
- 1:16:28Speaker 3: Apparently I had heard, I had heard that. one of
- 1:16:31Speaker 3: the sticks that he was doing live on stage, Charlie
- 1:16:33Speaker 3: Sheen was, he was lighting his bowling shirts. He was
- 1:16:35Speaker 3: famous when he's bowling shirts on two and a half men.
- 1:16:38Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:16:38Speaker 3: And he was lighting them on fire and saying, you know,
- 1:16:40Speaker 3: fuck two and a half men. And, and the, the
- 1:16:43Speaker 3: theater's like, you can't light a fire on stage. And
- 1:16:45Speaker 3: he's like, I got no other stick. Like, so then
- 1:16:48Speaker 3: I got to quit. So that was the end of it.
- 1:16:51Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:16:51Speaker 3: He couldn't light fires anymore.
- 1:16:52Speaker 2: If only he had heard your story about performing.
- 1:16:55Speaker 3: For the construction workers. Exactly. I should have lit a fire.
- 1:16:58Speaker 2: Um, Anyway, I think back then he lost it. Like
- 1:17:03Speaker 2: he didn't automatically come back. Now I think with Instagram,
- 1:17:07Speaker 2: if you delete it and you come back, you can
- 1:17:10Speaker 2: get all your people back.
- 1:17:11Speaker 3: My Twitter is gone. It's gone and I can't get back.
- 1:17:14Speaker 3: I don't really use Twitter as much, but I liked
- 1:17:16Speaker 3: having it.
- 1:17:17Speaker 2: Speaking of Twitter, I guess Donald Trump didn't like Rihanna's performance.
- 1:17:23Speaker 3: Yeah, he said, yeah.
- 1:17:24Speaker 2: I'm like, I guess Rihanna- Epic fail.
- 1:17:27Speaker 3: Epic fail. Not very good. She's not a good person.
- 1:17:33Speaker 2: That is so that i like i don't want to
- 1:17:35Speaker 2: do that i was really on the new rosier dollar
- 1:17:37Speaker 2: is just like after rosier dollars like twelve years and
- 1:17:40Speaker 2: i don't like what is the issue like just.
- 1:17:43Speaker 3: And even brought back of a fat pig just that
- 1:17:47Speaker 3: yeah he goes i don't call anyone a pig except
- 1:17:49Speaker 3: rosie adams she's a pig.
- 1:17:52Speaker 2: It's like okay like what like what anyway uh.
- 1:17:56Speaker 3: yeah you like to be on a performance but i
- 1:17:58Speaker 3: guess they had a beef uh... while ago.
- 1:18:01Speaker 2: Okay, Chris, we have more to talk about, so we're
- 1:18:04Speaker 2: going to do a little more, and this is going
- 1:18:05Speaker 2: to be for Thursday. But first, let me just tell
- 1:18:07Speaker 2: everybody where they can see you so they can put
- 1:18:11Speaker 2: their calendar today.
- 1:18:12Speaker 3: Oklahoma City this weekend. This weekend I'll be at a
- 1:18:15Speaker 3: Bricktown Comedy Club in Oklahoma City Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.

- 1:18:31Speaker 3: it here. The Cutting Room in New York City.
- 1:18:34Speaker 2: That sounds cool.
- 1:18:35Speaker 3: It's a cool little spot. Cutting Room. McGuire's on Long Island. Fun.
- 1:18:38Speaker 3: Bananas in New Jersey. Stanford, Connecticut, New York. A little
- 1:18:41Speaker 3: East Coast. East Coast run.

- 1:18:52Speaker 3: me live. Oklahoma City is next.

- 1:19:01Speaker 2: coffee in Ranala or walks along Sandy Mount Strand.
- 1:19:05Speaker 3: At a certain point, where you live shapes how you live.
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: Maybe you want more space, a shorter commute, or simply
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: somewhere that feels more like where you are now. On daft.ie,
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: you can explore the most sought-after homes for sale across
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: South Dublin.
- 1:19:20Speaker 4: When you're ready for the next chapter, start with Ireland's
- 1:19:23Speaker 4: number one property platform, daft.ie.
