- 0:23chickens. Hey everybody.
- 0:28Good morning from the chicken coop.
- 0:30So, today I want to talk to you about the theory of just letting
- 0:36go and moving forward. You know, oftentimes really
- 0:40crappy things. Happen to us really crappy
- 0:42things happen to us and there is no Rhyme or Reason to it.
- 0:47We can't justify it. We can't figure out why we don't
- 0:49understand it and so many times we get stuck because we are
- 0:54trying to process it and trying to make sense out of it, because
- 0:57our huge puny human brains try very hard to make.
- 1:00It's of it. And we are always asking the
- 1:02question, why? And to me, anyone who coaches
- 1:05with me, knows I hate the. Why question, I hate that
- 1:08question so much because why puts us in a position where we
- 1:12either have to defend what we believe or were left, empty,
- 1:17trying to connect dots. And oftentimes, we have to just
- 1:21recognize that we do not understand why something
- 1:24happened and our brains cannot connect any dots.
- 1:27We cannot figure things out and we never will.
- 1:30So We spend our time spinning, our Wheels trying to figure
- 1:34something out that's absolutely ridiculous pointless and we
- 1:37can't do it. And when we have a loss of a
- 1:40loved one, when we have things show up in our lives, that don't
- 1:44make any sense. When things randomly show up
- 1:47that we can't justify as to. Well, you know, someone who was
- 1:51perfectly healthy died or somebody who seemed like they
- 1:55were in the perfect relationship walked out the door or, you
- 1:58know, randomly someone This is a job because of something that
- 2:02they can't make sense of we sit there.
- 2:05And we say, well, I don't understand what happened.
- 2:07I don't understand why. Well, letting go of Y, is one of
- 2:11the most important things that we can do because often the
- 2:16lessons the learning, the moving us forward are never going to be
- 2:20found in Wise. They're just not we're not
- 2:23capable of putting together. Those dots, I myself have sat
- 2:27there for years of my life trying to figure Figure out.
- 2:31What was the reason that someone came into my life?
- 2:33And I remember the point in time when I would sit there and say
- 2:37to my friend, you know, I just don't understand why ever it was
- 2:40in, you know, how this relationship with this person
- 2:42ever was in the situation. I don't get it and why did this
- 2:46happen? But it was before I understood
- 2:48the theory of just letting why go and years and years later all
- 2:55of a sudden, I was able to connect the dots.
- 2:57Now, that's even a rarity oftentimes we Connect the dots.
- 3:01And I will say this, the dots that I connected may or may not
- 3:04have been true. I do believe that we Are
- 3:07Spiritual creatures, having a human experience.
- 3:11And in the process of having a human experience, we don't
- 3:15always understand our reasons. That things are showing up in
- 3:19our world. What we can see is what we can
- 3:22we can comprehend, but we don't understand what we don't know.
- 3:26In other words, we never know what we don't know.
- 3:29So when we start to connect dots, But we are only doing it
- 3:32from the perspective of what we know and I truly believe that
- 3:36Souls come here and oftentimes their journey is not necessarily
- 3:44something that we can comprehend and fit in with.
- 3:48So, when a soul comes and goes quickly, we say, I don't
- 3:51understand why that happened. Why did they have to go?
- 3:54And it brings us such heartache but sometimes those heartaches
- 3:58move us forward. I mean, I lost my dad when he
- 4:00was 57 years old. And I've talked about this
- 4:03before on this podcast, but if I hadn't lost my dad, if he hadn't
- 4:09passed away, when he was young, I would have never ever ever
- 4:14moved into self-development the way that I did.
- 4:17I would have stayed in, you know, advertising and marketing.
- 4:20I would have continued on the path that I was on.
- 4:22I wouldn't have written books. I wouldn't have been the coach I
- 4:25am today. I wouldn't have been there for
- 4:26all the clients that I have and the thousands and thousands of
- 4:30people. That I've been able to speak to
- 4:32and help and move them wouldn't have happened.
- 4:35I can guarantee you that wouldn't have happened.
- 4:37So me being in his life and having to deal with that
- 4:40experience, moved me in a way that I cannot explain.
- 4:44Was it painful? Yes, did it, did it put me in a
- 4:47position of growth? Yes.
- 4:50Could I have done all of that without his loss, boy?
- 4:55I don't think so. I think it took his loss to put
- 4:58me into a place where I dig for this all the time.
- 5:01If I hadn't had the experience of six miscarriages, would I
- 5:05have ever adopted my son and had the experience that I have no
- 5:10wouldn't have happened and all that pain, all that anguish, all
- 5:15those thoughts, all that stuff that I went through, I could
- 5:19have never understood, and I would have, never ever, ever
- 5:22done the things that I did. So, instead of trying to make
- 5:26heads or tails out of it and justify it instead, it's Like
- 5:31asking yourself a different question.
- 5:32What can I take forward with me? What can I use to move forward
- 5:36with? How can I take this information
- 5:38and put myself into a better position with it?
- 5:41What are the thoughts that I need to take forward and believe
- 5:46and act into everyday? Life is about asking better
- 5:50questions and when things like the unexpected show up, that's
- 5:56what it's all about. So I'm going to challenge you
- 5:58guys to look at whatever situations.
- 6:00Going through as simple or as complicated as they made, be ask
- 6:04better questions. Stop asking.
- 6:07Why? Because it's useless and figure
- 6:10out better ways that you can collect that information and
- 6:12move forward. I hope you guys truly have a
- 6:15blessed week this week. A blessed day today and I will
- 6:19see you all tomorrow. Ask better questions.
- 6:23Bye.
