Mega Edition: Epstein, Maxwell And The Decades Long Battle Over Grand Jury Records (10/23/26) · The Vault: The Epstein Files

0:00
Speaker 1: What's up everyone and welcome back to the Epstein Chronicles.
0:04
Speaker 1: Now that we've all had a chance to take a look,
0:06
Speaker 1: or listen, to the new grand jury transcripts that have
0:09
Speaker 1: been released, I think it's time for some commentary. And
0:13
Speaker 1: boy oh boy, do I have a few things to say. Now,
0:17
Speaker 1: according to the judge who released these documents, he called
0:21
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein the most infamous pedophile in American history. And
0:25
Speaker 1: I agree with that wholeheartedly. It's unfortunate, however, that the
0:29
Speaker 1: authorities in Florida during this first prosecution felt a completely
0:34
Speaker 1: different way. And they can say whatever they want. They
0:37
Speaker 1: can try and rewrite history. They can make pretend that
0:40
Speaker 1: everything was on the up and up. Everything was all good.
0:43
Speaker 1: And to slam that point home, they had the OIG
0:46
Speaker 1: report into the NPA because, you know, that did so
0:49
Speaker 1: much good. Unlike most other people, we've actually been through
0:53
Speaker 1: that report from front to back, so all of you
0:56
Speaker 1: are hip to what's going on. And that is the
0:59
Speaker 1: whole entire point of going through the court documents, so
1:03
Speaker 1: that you folks have a complete understanding of what's going on.
1:07
Speaker 1: If you're looking for little three-minute blurbs here, that's not
1:10
Speaker 1: what we do. We dive into these topics and it's
1:14
Speaker 1: long form. And if you're not willing to put in
1:16
Speaker 1: the legwork, then you're never going to understand what What
1:19
Speaker 1: the hell's going on? And honestly, that was the genius
1:22
Speaker 1: of the whole entire operation by Epstein and his people.
1:25
Speaker 1: They made it so complex. They made it so wrapped
1:29
Speaker 1: up within itself and within actual institutions that it's very,
1:35
Speaker 1: very difficult to try and unfurl what happened here. And
1:39
Speaker 1: if you don't have all the information, forget it. This
1:41
Speaker 1: isn't a scratch the surface story where you can, you know,
1:44
Speaker 1: watch a 15 minute Show on CNN or something and
1:48
Speaker 1: understand what's going on. Not if you truly want to
1:51
Speaker 1: understand what's going on anyway. So for those of you
1:54
Speaker 1: who have been here rocking with me for all these years,
1:57
Speaker 1: you get it. You understand exactly what's going on now.
2:00
Speaker 1: And considering the avalanche of emails I've received lately, the
2:04
Speaker 1: vast majority of you are not happy about what went down.
2:08
Speaker 1: And the sad part is the real thumb in the
2:10
Speaker 1: eye is that nobody's ever going to be held accountable.
2:13
Speaker 1: What do you think, Krischer and Belahovlik and the rest
2:15
Speaker 1: of them are going to be held responsible now, 20
2:19
Speaker 1: years later, 20-something years later? It's just not feasible. Now,
2:24
Speaker 1: if I was in charge, it would be. I would
2:26
Speaker 1: find a way. Oh, they find a way to figure
2:29
Speaker 1: everything else out, right? If they're looking to get you,
2:31
Speaker 1: they'll figure it out. But when it's one of their buddies,
2:34
Speaker 1: when it's someone in the system, well, they can't do that,
2:36
Speaker 1: can they? They just have to make pretend that, oh, well,
2:40
Speaker 1: it was negligent, but it wasn't on purpose. It had
2:43
Speaker 1: nothing to do with the fact that Jeffrey Epstein was well-connected.
2:46
Speaker 1: I mean, this dude, if you go through the NPA report,
2:50
Speaker 1: like we did, it tells you right in that report
2:53
Speaker 1: that Epstein's lawyers were meeting with the top dogs from
2:55
Speaker 1: the DOJ. And then that report has the audacity to
2:58
Speaker 1: go on and say that it had nothing to do
3:01
Speaker 1: with how things went. As if Alex Acosta is making
3:04
Speaker 1: these decisions on his own. And I think that the
3:07
Speaker 1: more documents that are released, the more it's apparent that
3:10
Speaker 1: that's what went down. And I've been saying that from
3:13
Speaker 1: the very beginning. This all cracked off because Julie K.
3:16
Speaker 1: Brown wanted to look into Acosta because he got hired
3:19
Speaker 1: by Trump. Then from there, obviously it ballooned. But why
3:23
Speaker 1: did it stop at Alex Acosta? Why didn't Julie K.
3:26
Speaker 1: Brown keep going all the way up to the top
3:29
Speaker 1: to where this originated? Especially after seeing the documents the
3:32
Speaker 1: NPA was signed by the Deputy Attorney General, Mark Philippe.
3:37
Speaker 1: So what, you think that Mukasey had nothing to do
3:39
Speaker 1: with that? That just happened in a vacuum? Those guys
3:42
Speaker 1: make those decisions? These bureaucrats? Stop it. That is not
3:46
Speaker 1: how this works. And anybody who tells you that that's
3:49
Speaker 1: how the bureaucracy works, they don't know what they're talking about.
3:52
Speaker 1: So for me, the biggest takeaway from these documents when
3:55
Speaker 1: they drop, they act as receipts. And they just back
3:58
Speaker 1: up everything that I've been telling you folks for all
4:00
Speaker 1: these years. And guess what? I stand on my work.
4:04
Speaker 1: And whereas other people want to rush to get information out,
4:07
Speaker 1: I'm more interested in making sure I'm getting out the
4:09
Speaker 1: right information. So with that said, let's dive into this
4:13
Speaker 1: article from CBS News and let's see what they have
4:16
Speaker 1: for us. Headline, Florida judge calls Epstein the most infamous
4:20
Speaker 1: pedophile in American history following transcripts release. Well, yeah, dude
4:25
Speaker 1: was point blank period. Nothing to conversate about there. Bro
4:30
Speaker 1: is out here doing shit that is just unspeakable. And
4:34
Speaker 1: what you've been privy to, the information you've heard, is
4:37
Speaker 1: just the tip of the iceberg. I know people don't
4:40
Speaker 1: want to hear it, people don't want to listen to that,
4:42
Speaker 1: but it's the truth. You know how many unnamed women
4:45
Speaker 1: and girls are out there? Mainly from different countries, who
4:48
Speaker 1: are taken advantage of by these scumbags? As for an
4:51
Speaker 1: author of this article, there isn't one listed, so I'm
4:54
Speaker 1: guessing it's staffed. A Florida judge released Monday afternoon the
4:58
Speaker 1: transcripts of a 2006 grand jury investigation that looked into
5:03
Speaker 1: the sex trafficking and rape allegations made against the late
5:06
Speaker 1: millionaire and financier, you mean pedophile, Jeffrey Epstein. The investigation
5:11
Speaker 1: was the first of many by law enforcement over the
5:14
Speaker 1: past two decades into Epstein's rape and sex trafficking of
5:17
Speaker 1: teenagers and how his ties to the rich and powerful
5:21
Speaker 1: seem to have allowed him to avoid prison or a
5:23
Speaker 1: serious jail term over a decade. Not seem to, that's
5:28
Speaker 1: exactly what went down. Look, there's a reason why somebody
5:31
Speaker 1: like R. Kelly gets hit with Rico. There's a reason
5:34
Speaker 1: why Ray Neary gets hit with Rico. There's a reason
5:38
Speaker 1: why Young Thug gets hit with Rico. And there's a
5:41
Speaker 1: reason why Jeffrey Epstein does not. And that reason is,
5:45
Speaker 1: Epstein and his finances are intertwined with all of these
5:48
Speaker 1: politicians and bankers. So if you hit them with Rico,
5:52
Speaker 1: everybody gets pulled in. They couldn't have that, could they?
5:54
Speaker 1: They couldn't have you know just how deep all of
5:57
Speaker 1: this went. Because their faves might be exposed. You know,
6:00
Speaker 1: like Stacey Plaskett. The investigations uncovered Epstein's close ties to
6:05
Speaker 1: former President Bill Clinton and Britain's Prince Andrew, as well
6:08
Speaker 1: as his once-friendly relationship with former President Donald Trump and
6:12
Speaker 1: numerous others of wealth and influence who have denied doing
6:16
Speaker 1: anything criminal or improper and not been charged. Well, yeah,
6:20
Speaker 1: because it's okay to just hang out with a pedophile.
6:22
Speaker 1: Because everybody in your friend group would look at you
6:25
Speaker 1: and be like, ah, you know what, you just didn't know.
6:28
Speaker 1: Breaking news everybody knew, okay? Stop the bullshit. Circuit Judge
6:32
Speaker 1: Luis Delgado's release of approximately 150 pages Monday came as
6:37
Speaker 1: a surprise since there was scheduled hearings next week over
6:40
Speaker 1: unsealing the graphic testimony. Governor Ron DeSantis had signed a
6:44
Speaker 1: bill in February allowing the release on Monday or any
6:47
Speaker 1: time thereafter that Delgado ordered. Florida grand jury transcripts are
6:52
Speaker 1: usually kept secret forever, but the bill created an exemption
6:56
Speaker 1: for cases like Epstein's. And the whole reason they went
6:58
Speaker 1: to the grand jury is so that they could do this,
7:01
Speaker 1: so that they could hide what they did as far
7:03
Speaker 1: as their work product from all of us. Now, look,
7:06
Speaker 1: if this is a white collar crime or this dude
7:08
Speaker 1: got nailed for DUI or something and he's flexing and
7:11
Speaker 1: he's using his connections, I expect that to happen. And
7:15
Speaker 1: in fact, I just shake my head and keep it moving.
7:17
Speaker 1: That's the way it works. When you're powerful, you have money,
7:20
Speaker 1: you have connections, you can get off on some shit.
7:23
Speaker 1: This shouldn't be something that you're getting off on because
7:25
Speaker 1: you have connections, because you have friends who are in
7:28
Speaker 1: powerful positions, or because you have money. Bro, you hurt
7:32
Speaker 1: little kids. Point blank, period. The sentencing should be severe.
7:36
Speaker 1: But instead, if you're Jeffrey Epstein down in Florida, you
7:39
Speaker 1: get to do whatever you want. And not only that,
7:41
Speaker 1: but you get this non-prosecution agreement that saved Sarah Kellen Vickers.
7:46
Speaker 1: Everybody talks about Sarah Kellen Vickers this, Sarah Kellen Vickers that,
7:50
Speaker 1: but basically all of her crimes that she committed allegedly...
7:53
Speaker 1: happened in Florida. And that NPA protects anyone who was
7:57
Speaker 1: up the bullshit down in Florida. Notice that they charge
8:00
Speaker 1: Ghislaine Maxwell in New York? And it's amazing to me,
8:03
Speaker 1: all these years later people still don't understand how any
8:05
Speaker 1: of this works. They must not be listening to this podcast,
8:09
Speaker 1: because at this point all of you are experts. The
8:12
Speaker 1: transcripts show that the grand jury heard testimony that Epstein,
8:16
Speaker 1: who was then in his 40s, had raped teenage girls
8:19
Speaker 1: as young as 14 at his Palm Beach mansion in
8:21
Speaker 1: often paying them so he could commit statutory rape or assault.
8:25
Speaker 1: The teenagers testified and told detectives they were also paid
8:29
Speaker 1: cash or rented cars if they found more girls. And
8:32
Speaker 1: the audacity of the prosecutors and those people sitting on
8:36
Speaker 1: the grand jury to attack those girls the way they did,
8:39
Speaker 1: it was absurd. Imagine going after your own witnesses like that.
8:43
Speaker 1: I mean, there has to be some kind of punishment,
8:46
Speaker 1: or at the very least, this has to be taught
8:48
Speaker 1: in the curriculum of what not to do. The details
8:52
Speaker 1: in the record will be outrageous to decent people, Delgado
8:55
Speaker 1: wrote in his order. The testimony taken by the grand
8:58
Speaker 1: jury concerns activity ranging from grossly unacceptable to rape. All
9:03
Speaker 1: of the conduct at issue is sexually deviant, disgusting, and criminal.
9:07
Speaker 1: And that's a judge saying that, okay? Not me. That's
9:10
Speaker 1: not me and my big mouth just yapping. That's what
9:13
Speaker 1: everybody who's ever got a look at this has had
9:14
Speaker 1: to say. But somehow, someway, everybody involved hasn't been arrested.
9:19
Speaker 1: Everybody involved hasn't been taken down. And once again, we'll
9:24
Speaker 1: have to circle back, like the press secretary loves to say,
9:28
Speaker 1: and get back to the very beginning. And this is
9:31
Speaker 1: where it all started. This is the genesis, folks. The
9:35
Speaker 1: fact that he was able to get off here really
9:37
Speaker 1: told the tale for the future. And if you're not
9:40
Speaker 1: going to arrest this guy for raping 14-year-olds, what are
9:43
Speaker 1: you going to arrest him for? In 2008, Epstein cut
9:47
Speaker 1: a deal with South Florida federal prosecutors that allowed him
9:50
Speaker 1: to escape more severe federal charges and instead plead guilty
9:53
Speaker 1: to state charges of procuring a person under 18 for
9:56
Speaker 1: prostitution and solicitation of prostitution. Imagine one of your friends
10:01
Speaker 1: showed up and this is what they got nailed for
10:04
Speaker 1: and you're like, ah, you know what? Come over to
10:05
Speaker 1: Thanksgiving dinner. I got news for you. There's a lot
10:08
Speaker 1: I can forgive. In fact, I have friends that have
10:11
Speaker 1: done time for murder. I've forgiven them. When it comes
10:15
Speaker 1: to this, nope, can't forgive it. Sorry. If you're hurting children,
10:19
Speaker 1: You're hurting women. If you're a deviant sexual abuser, there
10:22
Speaker 1: is no fixing you. There's no rehabilitation. There's no extenuating circumstances.
10:27
Speaker 1: You're just a sick fuck and you need to be
10:29
Speaker 1: dealt with. And if we don't have any helicopters or
10:31
Speaker 1: volcanoes available, how about we get a wood chipper ready?
10:35
Speaker 1: He was sentenced to one and a half years in
10:37
Speaker 1: the Palm Beach County jail system, during which he was
10:39
Speaker 1: allowed to go to his office almost daily, an office
10:42
Speaker 1: that didn't exist, by the way, until he was arrested.
10:45
Speaker 1: So keep that in mind. As part of a work
10:47
Speaker 1: release program, followed by a year of house arrest, he
10:51
Speaker 1: was required to register as a sex offender. Not New
10:54
Speaker 1: Mexico he wasn't. And as far as his house arrest?
10:57
Speaker 1: Not the same kind of house arrest you or I
10:59
Speaker 1: would have, that's for goddamn sure. And it's amazing, all
11:02
Speaker 1: these years later, the legacy media still doesn't get it.
11:06
Speaker 1: They still do not understand this story. Criticism of the
11:10
Speaker 1: deal resulted in the 2019 resignation of Trump Labor Secretary
11:14
Speaker 1: Alex Acosta, who was the U.S. Attorney for South Florida
11:18
Speaker 1: in 2008, and signed off on the deal. Well, he
11:21
Speaker 1: put his name to it. Did he really sign off
11:23
Speaker 1: on the deal, though? And I think that's something that
11:26
Speaker 1: Julie K. Brown needs to answer for. Like, she needs
11:29
Speaker 1: to go back and reevaluate. Or maybe she's just trying
11:32
Speaker 1: to protect people. Maybe that's it. I don't know. But
11:35
Speaker 1: you would think that if you're going to go this far...
11:37
Speaker 1: and you're going to unearth what Acosta was up to,
11:40
Speaker 1: you would keep going all the way up the chain.
11:42
Speaker 1: Because we all know that middle managers, well, they're just
11:45
Speaker 1: middle managers. They're not people out here making these decisions.
11:49
Speaker 1: And if it was Acosta who made the decisions, why
11:51
Speaker 1: was Dershowitz, Starr, and Lefcourt having dinners and shit with
11:55
Speaker 1: Mukasey and other honchos at the DOJ? What were they
11:59
Speaker 1: talking about? Their golf swing? Talking about the next big
12:02
Speaker 1: soiree at the Bilderberg conference? Or were they formulating a
12:06
Speaker 1: plan to make sure that they get their guy Jeffrey
12:09
Speaker 1: Epstein off and keep their hands clean while doing it?
12:12
Speaker 1: I'll let you figure that out. A 2020 Justice Department
12:16
Speaker 1: investigation concluded that Acosta used poor judgment in his handling
12:21
Speaker 1: of the Epstein prosecution, but it didn't rise to the
12:23
Speaker 1: level of professional misconduct. Well, it didn't. I know people
12:27
Speaker 1: don't like to hear that, and Acosta is a worm,
12:29
Speaker 1: there is no doubt. Bro is an absolute coward. But
12:33
Speaker 1: to act like he's the man here, the guy that
12:36
Speaker 1: deserves all the criticism, all the scorn, is letting the
12:39
Speaker 1: people who really had this all in motion off the hook.
12:42
Speaker 1: And if you want to do that to score political points,
12:45
Speaker 1: that's on you. I refuse to do it. Alex Acosta
12:49
Speaker 1: is just a small piece to all of this. If
12:51
Speaker 1: you really want to be mad at people, you need
12:53
Speaker 1: to go to the people that were in charge at
12:55
Speaker 1: the DOJ at the time, and that's Michael Mukasey and
12:58
Speaker 1: Marc Philippe. Those two dudes were at the sticks, they
13:01
Speaker 1: were at the controls, and for me, that's where the
13:04
Speaker 1: responsibility falls. The chief prosecutor in the Epstein case, former
13:09
Speaker 1: Palm Beach County State Attorney Barry Krischer, did not immediately
13:12
Speaker 1: respond Monday to email and voicemail seeking comment about the transcripts.
13:17
Speaker 1: Current Palm Beach County State Attorney Dave Ehrenberg, who was
13:21
Speaker 1: not involved in the investigation, said in a statement that
13:24
Speaker 1: he is glad the records have been released. He said
13:26
Speaker 1: he had not yet read the transcripts, so he cannot
13:29
Speaker 1: comment on whether Krischer should have pursued a tougher prosecution
13:32
Speaker 1: of Epstein. How is it that you haven't read those
13:35
Speaker 1: transcripts yet? They come out down in your district? Probably
13:39
Speaker 1: a good idea to take a look at them. Brad Edwards,
13:41
Speaker 1: an attorney for many of the victims, said in a
13:43
Speaker 1: statement that the transcripts show that Krischer's office took the
13:46
Speaker 1: case to the grand jury with an agenda to return minimal,
13:49
Speaker 1: if any, criminal charges against Jeffrey Epstein. A fraction of
13:53
Speaker 1: the evidence was presented in a misleading way, and the
13:56
Speaker 1: office portrayed the victims as criminals, he said. It's so
14:00
Speaker 1: sad the number of victims Epstein was able to abuse
14:03
Speaker 1: because the state carried water for him when they had
14:05
Speaker 1: a chance to put him away. Bingo, 1,000%. If somebody
14:10
Speaker 1: would have listened, if somebody would have done their job, well,
14:13
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein would have went on to abuse as many
14:16
Speaker 1: girls as he did. But since the state of Florida
14:19
Speaker 1: and the Department of Justice had other ideas, here we are.
14:23
Speaker 1: And if I was one of these survivors, you better
14:25
Speaker 1: believe I'd be suing the Department of Justice. Epstein's estate
14:29
Speaker 1: is paying $ 155 million in restitution to more than 125 victims.
14:35
Speaker 1: According to the transcripts, Palm Beach Police Detective Joe Ricari
14:38
Speaker 1: testified in July 2006 that the initial investigation began when
14:42
Speaker 1: a woman reported in March 2005... that her stepdaughter, who
14:47
Speaker 1: was in high school at the time, said she received
14:50
Speaker 1: $ 300 in exchange for a sexual activity with a man
14:53
Speaker 1: in Palm Beach, Rakari testified. Another teenager, whose name was
14:57
Speaker 1: redacted in the transcript, told detectives that she was 17
15:00
Speaker 1: years old when she was approached by a friend who
15:03
Speaker 1: said she could make $ 200 by providing a massage at
15:06
Speaker 1: Epstein's home. At the house, when Epstein tried touching her,
15:10
Speaker 1: she told him she was uncomfortable. He then told her
15:12
Speaker 1: that he would pay her $ 200 and if she brought
15:15
Speaker 1: girls to the house. He told her, the younger the better,
15:19
Speaker 1: Ricari said. Over time, she brought six friends to Epstein's house,
15:24
Speaker 1: including a 14-year-old, and likened herself to Hollywood madam Heidi
15:27
Speaker 1: Fleiss in October 2005 interviews, Ricari recounted. When she brought
15:33
Speaker 1: over a 23-year-old friend, Epstein told her that the friend
15:36
Speaker 1: was too old. The more you did, the more money
15:39
Speaker 1: you made, the detective said, the teen told him. She
15:42
Speaker 1: explained that there was going to be a massage or
15:44
Speaker 1: some possible touching, and you would have to provide the
15:46
Speaker 1: massage either topless or naked. Another teen testified she visited
15:51
Speaker 1: Epstein's house hundreds of times in the early 2000s, starting
15:55
Speaker 1: when she was 16. She testified that Epstein paid her
15:58
Speaker 1: $ 200 each time she gave him a massage while naked,
16:02
Speaker 1: rented her a car, and gave her $ 1, 000 the time
16:05
Speaker 1: that he raped her. Because, you know, that makes it
16:06
Speaker 1: all better. That makes her a prostitute, and it makes
16:09
Speaker 1: it not rape. That's basically what these prosecutors say, and
16:13
Speaker 1: that's certainly the beat that Epstein was dancing to. A
16:17
Speaker 1: 2005 police search of Epstein's mansion found evidence supporting the
16:20
Speaker 1: girl's testimony. Also, Epstein's housemen told detectives that the teenagers
16:25
Speaker 1: who came to the mansion were very young, too young
16:27
Speaker 1: to be a masseuse. Epstein, in 2018, was charged with
16:31
Speaker 1: federal sex trafficking crimes in New York. where he also
16:35
Speaker 1: had a mansion that was a scene of abuse after
16:38
Speaker 1: the Miami Herald published a series of articles that renewed
16:41
Speaker 1: public attention to the case, including interviews with some of
16:44
Speaker 1: the victims who had been pursuing civil lawsuits against him.
16:47
Speaker 1: Epstein was 66 when he killed himself in a New
16:50
Speaker 1: York City jail cell in August 2019, federal officials say. Delgado,
16:56
Speaker 1: in his order, wrote that the transcripts show why Epstein
16:59
Speaker 1: was the most infamous pedophile in American history. For almost
17:02
Speaker 1: 20 years, The story of how Jeffrey Epstein victimized some
17:06
Speaker 1: of the Palm Beach County's most vulnerable has been the
17:09
Speaker 1: subject of much anger and has, at times, diminished the
17:12
Speaker 1: public's perception of the criminal justice system. Delgado wrote, At times? No,
17:17
Speaker 1: all the time. I don't know how anyone can look
17:19
Speaker 1: at what happened down in Florida and not be pissed off.
17:22
Speaker 1: Because all of it is a travesty. Imagine if this
17:25
Speaker 1: was your kid. Imagine if these were kids that were
17:27
Speaker 1: from a family with money. None of this would have
17:29
Speaker 1: ever happened. the person responsible would already be in jail.
17:33
Speaker 1: But since these girls were vulnerable, since they came from,
17:35
Speaker 1: you know, poor backgrounds or whatever, ah, who cares? At
17:38
Speaker 1: the time, that's what they thought. Well, they could have
17:41
Speaker 1: never imagined that all this time later, that everybody cares now.
17:46
Speaker 1: And not only do we care, now that we have
17:48
Speaker 1: the receipts to back up what we thought, I think
17:51
Speaker 1: it's time that the hammer gets brought down on all
17:53
Speaker 1: of the prosecutors that were involved in this abomination. Now,
17:57
Speaker 1: I doubt that's going to occur, but that's what should happen.
18:00
Speaker 1: You really think a guy like Barry Krischer or a
18:02
Speaker 1: Bela Hovlik should be sitting around and collecting their, you know,
18:06
Speaker 1: retirement that's being paid by the state taxpayer after they
18:09
Speaker 1: were derelict in their duty? So I doubt that there's
18:13
Speaker 1: going to be a lever to get pulled to fix that,
18:15
Speaker 1: but we all know that they shouldn't be drawing a
18:18
Speaker 1: pension at this point, considering what happened here. I would
18:22
Speaker 1: say that that should be the least of the penalties
18:24
Speaker 1: that they get hit with. But unfortunately, if I take
18:27
Speaker 1: a shit in my hand and put everything I want
18:29
Speaker 1: in the other hand, well, what am I going to
18:31
Speaker 1: have more of at the end of the day? So
18:33
Speaker 1: with that in mind, the battle continues, but this episode
18:37
Speaker 1: has come to an end. All of the information that
18:40
Speaker 1: goes with this episode can be found in the description box.
18:45
Speaker 1: What's up everyone and welcome to another episode of the
18:48
Speaker 1: Epstein Chronicles. Up until yesterday, we have heard from the
18:51
Speaker 1: Department of Justice that they're not going to be releasing
18:54
Speaker 1: any other Epstein information. And of course, that caused a
18:58
Speaker 1: gigantic uproar when it comes to Trump loyalists and really
19:02
Speaker 1: just decent people in general. And if you look at
19:04
Speaker 1: the polling surrounding this topic, it's one of the very
19:08
Speaker 1: few topics that people are united on. I mean, we
19:12
Speaker 1: live in a very politically divided country. But this is
19:15
Speaker 1: a topic that people take a look at and they say,
19:17
Speaker 1: you know what? We want more information. We want to
19:20
Speaker 1: know what happened. We want to know about the co-conspirators.
19:23
Speaker 1: It's almost like they're trolling us, right? How are you
19:25
Speaker 1: going to drop a document that says there's a thousand victims,
19:28
Speaker 1: but nobody in prison? And keep in mind, Congress and
19:32
Speaker 1: the Senate, they had all the time in the world
19:34
Speaker 1: to have a bunch of baseball players come up and
19:36
Speaker 1: talk about steroids. But not once, not once, have they
19:40
Speaker 1: had the survivors of Jeffrey Epstein come up and recount
19:44
Speaker 1: their stories in front of the nation. Ask yourself why.
19:48
Speaker 1: Why should you have a bunch of baseball players come
19:50
Speaker 1: in talking about steroids and all these other dumbass committees
19:54
Speaker 1: that really don't mean anything but when it comes to
19:57
Speaker 1: this silence and not just this administration keep in mind
20:02
Speaker 1: I'm talking about going all the way back to the
20:04
Speaker 1: first Clinton administration because that's when this all really started
20:08
Speaker 1: but the big problem is No administration since then has
20:12
Speaker 1: been proactive. There hasn't been a push to learn the truth.
20:16
Speaker 1: There hasn't been a push to get the financial records.
20:19
Speaker 1: You ask any investigator and the first thing they'll tell
20:21
Speaker 1: you is you follow the money. Nobody really followed the
20:25
Speaker 1: money here. We had weeks and weeks and months and
20:28
Speaker 1: months on the podcast back in the day where all
20:30
Speaker 1: we did was follow the money. Paradise Papers, Applebee, Offshore,
20:36
Speaker 1: Liquid Limited, you name it. But there's only so far
20:39
Speaker 1: you can go down the rabbit hole before you run
20:41
Speaker 1: into a dead end. You need to have the resources.
20:45
Speaker 1: You need to have subpoena power. You need to have investigators.
20:48
Speaker 1: And that's what the federal government has, no? And I
20:50
Speaker 1: was under the impression that their job was to stop
20:53
Speaker 1: sick fucks like this dude. But I guess their job
20:56
Speaker 1: really is to protect them. Today's article is from ABC
21:01
Speaker 1: News and the headline. Bondi says she'll try to unseal
21:04
Speaker 1: the Epstein grand jury records. oh, okay, cool, grand jury records, great.
21:09
Speaker 1: I mean, I guess it's a step in the right direction,
21:11
Speaker 1: and I don't want to shit on the idea, because
21:14
Speaker 1: I'd like to have a look at them. But that's
21:16
Speaker 1: not what people are asking for. People want the files,
21:19
Speaker 1: all of them. Whatever the FBI has, whatever the DOJ has,
21:23
Speaker 1: whatever the CIA has, whatever the NSA has, all of it.
21:29
Speaker 1: And unless you give us full transparency, we're going to
21:31
Speaker 1: be here demanding it. And I'm certainly not going to
21:34
Speaker 1: be placated by some kind of nonsense. when it comes
21:37
Speaker 1: to the records. Sure, the grand jury document should be
21:40
Speaker 1: part of it. But folks, if you think that Donald
21:43
Speaker 1: Trump or Pam Bondi can just wave their hand and
21:46
Speaker 1: get grand jury documents released, you're crazy. I'm going to
21:49
Speaker 1: have an episode coming up later on today, and we're
21:52
Speaker 1: going to go through the process of the grand jury
21:55
Speaker 1: and how you got to get those records released. And
21:57
Speaker 1: it's not an easy process, and it's going to take time.
22:01
Speaker 1: And down in Florida, it took literally decades to get
22:05
Speaker 1: those grand jury transcripts So if you think this is
22:07
Speaker 1: going to happen overnight, you're crazy. So it seems like
22:11
Speaker 1: a stalling tactic. And at this point, I think the
22:13
Speaker 1: best way to go is to have some kind of
22:15
Speaker 1: independent counsel take a look at what's going on. But
22:18
Speaker 1: even then, you'll have people that saying that the investigation's tilted,
22:22
Speaker 1: that they're not, you know, really looking for the truth.
22:25
Speaker 1: So I think that the best method is to just
22:28
Speaker 1: release everything and let us decide. And unless it has
22:31
Speaker 1: to do with a survivor's name or information about somebody
22:35
Speaker 1: who was abused, I think everybody who's in those documents
22:38
Speaker 1: should be outed, just like they were down in Florida.
22:42
Speaker 1: It should be the same-ass process here. This article was
22:46
Speaker 1: authored by Michelle Stoddart, Alexandra Hutzler, and Lali Ibsa. Facing
22:52
Speaker 1: uproar in his MAGA base over the Jeffrey Epstein files,
22:55
Speaker 1: President Donald Trump has called for Attorney General Pam Bondi
22:59
Speaker 1: to produce any and all pertinent grand jury testimony subject
23:03
Speaker 1: to court approval related to the case. And again, look,
23:07
Speaker 1: a step in the right direction, right? I don't want
23:09
Speaker 1: to just shit on it, but it's not enough. It's
23:12
Speaker 1: not going to placate anybody and it's not going to
23:14
Speaker 1: prove one way or the other what went down. Bondi
23:18
Speaker 1: responded on social media Thursday evening saying, we are ready
23:21
Speaker 1: to move the court tomorrow to unseal the grand jury transcripts.
23:25
Speaker 1: I thought there was nothing left to unseal though. I
23:28
Speaker 1: thought that everything was over and done with. There's no files.
23:31
Speaker 1: There is nothing for us to see. But now there is.
23:35
Speaker 1: And when I say that he's creating problems for himself,
23:37
Speaker 1: this is what I mean. You come out here and
23:41
Speaker 1: you say one thing. And then two days later, when
23:43
Speaker 1: this alleged birthday card that I'm not sure is real
23:46
Speaker 1: or not ends up dropping. Now, all of a sudden,
23:49
Speaker 1: we're going to have more documents released. Optics matter. And
23:53
Speaker 1: the optics here are bad. The optics here look like
23:55
Speaker 1: it's a cover up. It's not immediately clear to the extent.
23:59
Speaker 1: of the administration's request to unseal the transcripts, which would
24:02
Speaker 1: be subject to the approval of a federal judge in
24:05
Speaker 1: the Southern District of New York, where Epstein was charged
24:08
Speaker 1: before he died by suicide in 2019. And look, it's
24:12
Speaker 1: not an easy process. Like I was saying, you have
24:15
Speaker 1: to really go through the steps. So I don't think
24:17
Speaker 1: we're going to get anything anytime soon. But of course,
24:20
Speaker 1: last night when the announcement was made, you saw people
24:23
Speaker 1: basically having a victory lap. Oh yeah, Trump's going to
24:26
Speaker 1: be transparent. He's going to give us all the documentation. No,
24:30
Speaker 1: this is pertinent files. What does that even mean? And furthermore,
24:34
Speaker 1: who gets to decide what's pertinent and what's not? The
24:38
Speaker 1: same people that are telling us there's nothing left to
24:40
Speaker 1: be seen? This change, of course, comes after the Justice
24:44
Speaker 1: Department and the FBI released a memo earlier this month
24:48
Speaker 1: stating no evidence was found that Epstein kept a client
24:51
Speaker 1: list of associates or that he blackmailed any prominent individuals.
24:56
Speaker 1: The memo concluded no investigation into uncharged third party was warranted. Cool,
25:01
Speaker 1: Leslie Groff, Adriana Ross, Sarah Kellen Vickers, they can all
25:07
Speaker 1: have a party now. They can go hang out with
25:09
Speaker 1: their boy Prince Andrew, and everybody can have a little shindig.
25:13
Speaker 1: The whole last thing is disgusting. The brief memo put
25:17
Speaker 1: out by the DOJ and FBI last week stoked furor
25:21
Speaker 1: among Trump's diehard supporters after years of prominent right-wing figures
25:25
Speaker 1: pushing accusations about Epstein and the deep state that's protecting
25:29
Speaker 1: the elites. Is it just the MAGA base, though? Aren't
25:33
Speaker 1: the Democrats up in arms? Aren't the Democrats out here
25:35
Speaker 1: talking about committee this, committee that? All of a sudden
25:38
Speaker 1: they care about Jeffrey Epstein? I hate to bring it
25:41
Speaker 1: up again, but one of your own colleagues is being
25:45
Speaker 1: sued right now by Jeffrey Epstein's survivors and not a
25:47
Speaker 1: word about that? You're so worried about accountability all of
25:50
Speaker 1: a sudden. Why don't you take a look in-house? Why
25:53
Speaker 1: don't we talk about George Mitchell? Why don't we talk
25:55
Speaker 1: about Bill Richardson? Why don't we talk about the fact
25:58
Speaker 1: that Bill Clinton was as close to Jeffrey Epstein as
26:00
Speaker 1: a brother? If you want to talk about the story,
26:03
Speaker 1: you need to talk about the whole story, not just pieces,
26:07
Speaker 1: because it comes off as the Democrats using this as
26:10
Speaker 1: a political cudgel. But I'm telling you right now, it's
26:12
Speaker 1: a bad idea. All these people that are new to
26:15
Speaker 1: the Epstein investigation, they're latching on to this news du jour,
26:19
Speaker 1: and they're acting like this is the whole story. It
26:21
Speaker 1: is not. And if we get into those files, we're
26:24
Speaker 1: going to see. We're going to see how much money
26:26
Speaker 1: was donated by Jeffrey Epstein to all of these politicians.
26:31
Speaker 1: We're going to see all these people like Chuck Schumer,
26:33
Speaker 1: who took Jeffrey Epstein's money. We're going to see people
26:36
Speaker 1: like Stacey Plaskett, who took Epstein's money and then refused
26:40
Speaker 1: to give it back until the pressure was really ramped up.
26:44
Speaker 1: We're going to hear about guys like George DeJong. We're
26:46
Speaker 1: going to hear about the Democratic Party in the U.S.
26:48
Speaker 1: Virgin Islands. And we're also going to hear that George Mitchell,
26:52
Speaker 1: who was one of the highest ranking Democrats of his time,
26:55
Speaker 1: was credibly accused of abusing Virginia Roberts. as part of
26:59
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein's criminal enterprise. Or maybe we'll talk about Bill Richardson,
27:04
Speaker 1: who was accused of the same thing. Or maybe Glenn Dubin.
27:07
Speaker 1: How about that? So for the people who want to
27:09
Speaker 1: politicize this, I would say be very, very cautious, because
27:13
Speaker 1: those chickens are going to come home to roost, and
27:15
Speaker 1: it's going to be both sides of the aisle. And
27:17
Speaker 1: at some point, people are going to pick up on
27:19
Speaker 1: the Stacey Plaskett suit, and they're going to start talking
27:22
Speaker 1: about it. Trump has since sought various ways to have
27:25
Speaker 1: put out the political firestorm. coming to Bondi's defense while
27:29
Speaker 1: also saying she should release what she deems credible. In
27:33
Speaker 1: Trump's call for Bondi to produce grand jury testimony, he
27:36
Speaker 1: said it was a scam perpetuated by the Democrats and
27:40
Speaker 1: that it should end right now. Cool. Release all the
27:43
Speaker 1: files and it'll end. Until then, you sound like somebody
27:47
Speaker 1: who is protesting way too much, Mr. President. I would
27:51
Speaker 1: think you'd want to put this behind you and get
27:53
Speaker 1: prepared for the rest of your agenda. But I guess not.
27:56
Speaker 1: Let's drag it out some more. Let's give people that
27:59
Speaker 1: fertile ground to continue their bullshit and keeping it a buck.
28:03
Speaker 1: Like I've said from the beginning, this is all a
28:05
Speaker 1: self-made problem for Trump. He could have avoided all of it.
28:08
Speaker 1: You know how? By following through with his promise that
28:11
Speaker 1: he made on the campaign trail of releasing these documents.
28:15
Speaker 1: shifting from his previous statement of calling Epstein files a
28:19
Speaker 1: hoax and those Republican supporters who are questioning his administration's
28:23
Speaker 1: handling of it as stupid and foolish. So people out
28:27
Speaker 1: there want to get mad that I criticize Trump, but
28:29
Speaker 1: guess what? Bros out here calling me stupid and foolish?
28:33
Speaker 1: I'm not some MAGA cult loyalist. I'm an independent-minded person,
28:38
Speaker 1: and we're going to continue to call the balls and
28:40
Speaker 1: strikes for what they are. And I don't care if
28:42
Speaker 1: it's politically expedient for either side. All I care about
28:46
Speaker 1: is getting to the bottom of what happened here and
28:48
Speaker 1: who was involved. And if some of your faves get
28:51
Speaker 1: toppled on the way, well, maybe you had the wrong
28:54
Speaker 1: faves to begin with. Trump, in a phone interview with
28:58
Speaker 1: Just the News on Real America's Voice on Wednesday night,
29:02
Speaker 1: alleged without providing evidence that Democrats and former officials doctored
29:06
Speaker 1: files relating to the disgraced financier and convicted sex offender.
29:11
Speaker 1: If that's true and you have evidence, then we should
29:13
Speaker 1: have trials. Why is nobody being arrested? If you're a
29:18
Speaker 1: federal official and you're doctoring records, yeah, you should be
29:22
Speaker 1: in prison. So if that's the case, that's a gigantic scandal.
29:26
Speaker 1: Do we have an investigation kicked off looking into who
29:28
Speaker 1: did that? I haven't heard of any investigation into that,
29:31
Speaker 1: but we should have one. Let's have a full-on independent
29:35
Speaker 1: investigation and let's see what's what. And if these files
29:38
Speaker 1: were manipulated and they... were trying to, I don't know,
29:41
Speaker 1: frame Donald Trump like he's saying here, then people need
29:44
Speaker 1: to go to prison. But we need to see the
29:46
Speaker 1: proof of it because I don't know about you, but
29:49
Speaker 1: trust me, bro, isn't going to work here. The comments
29:52
Speaker 1: came when Trump was asked if he wanted one prosecutor
29:55
Speaker 1: to look into the broad subject of political prosecution. Well,
30:00
Speaker 1: I think it's in the case of Epstein. They've already
30:03
Speaker 1: had a look at it, and they're looking at it,
30:05
Speaker 1: and I think all they have to do is put
30:07
Speaker 1: anything credible, Trump said. But you know, that was run
30:10
Speaker 1: by the Biden administration for four years. Why does he
30:13
Speaker 1: continue to step on his own dick? I mean, I
30:15
Speaker 1: know he's trying to throw red meat to his base,
30:17
Speaker 1: but for regular people out there that are independent-minded, even
30:21
Speaker 1: some independent people who voted for him, that's not good enough.
30:25
Speaker 1: Just saying Biden... you know, screwed things up, that he
30:28
Speaker 1: manipulated the folder, that he manipulated the documents. What proof
30:32
Speaker 1: do you have of that? Let's see the proof. That's
30:34
Speaker 1: a gigantic allegation. And big allegations require big proof. And look,
30:40
Speaker 1: I'm not going to sit here and tell you that
30:41
Speaker 1: it's not the truth. I don't know. But if you're
30:44
Speaker 1: going to fire off those allegations, you better provide something.
30:48
Speaker 1: I mean, the Steele dossier was a total fake, right?
30:50
Speaker 1: It took two years to figure that out for people.
30:53
Speaker 1: And of all the things that you mentioned were faked. Well,
30:56
Speaker 1: I called that fake right away. I didn't believe that nonsense.
31:00
Speaker 1: I didn't think that that was a whole file that
31:01
Speaker 1: was built on Trump, Compromont, and I called it out
31:04
Speaker 1: on the podcast. I thought it was ridiculous. This, on
31:07
Speaker 1: the other hand, there's actual evidence of your relationship with
31:10
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein. It's not like there's unfounded reports of your
31:14
Speaker 1: relationship with the dude. Now, of course, there's people that
31:17
Speaker 1: take it too far. People that are out here making
31:20
Speaker 1: all kinds of weird-ass allegations with nothing to back it up.
31:25
Speaker 1: But the core of the argument is that you were
31:28
Speaker 1: friends with Jeffrey Epstein. And that is indisputable. Now, you
31:32
Speaker 1: can dispute when the relationship ended and how deep that
31:35
Speaker 1: friendship ran. But to try and act like you didn't
31:38
Speaker 1: know the guy, that's just not going to work. That's
31:41
Speaker 1: not going to cut it. And it makes it look
31:42
Speaker 1: like you're trying to avoid any kind of real conversation
31:46
Speaker 1: by just shoving shit under the rug. And when you're
31:49
Speaker 1: dismissive of a topic like this, where there's a lot
31:51
Speaker 1: of people who were hurt, people are going to have
31:54
Speaker 1: some questions. So I would imagine if they were run
31:57
Speaker 1: by Chris Wray and they were run by Comey, and
32:00
Speaker 1: because it was actually even before that administration, they've been
32:03
Speaker 1: running these files, and so much of the things we
32:06
Speaker 1: found were fake with me, Trump said. So they just
32:10
Speaker 1: created a bunch of files that were fake, that were
32:12
Speaker 1: related to Donald Trump, but never used them? I don't
32:16
Speaker 1: understand the thinking here. I don't understand the strategy that's
32:19
Speaker 1: being used by Trump. And don't tell me about 4D chess.
32:23
Speaker 1: I'm not buying it. I think that Trump stepped in
32:25
Speaker 1: it here, and he's making the problem worse. And if
32:29
Speaker 1: I had Trumps here, I would tell him to just
32:31
Speaker 1: release everything that he possibly could. Forget the grand jury documents.
32:36
Speaker 1: Start with the stuff you can release right now. Let's
32:40
Speaker 1: see the full OIG report, all their notes, who they
32:43
Speaker 1: talked to, who refused to talk to them. There's a
32:46
Speaker 1: lot of things we can do, but we've never done
32:48
Speaker 1: any of it. And so that's where my real criticism
32:52
Speaker 1: is when it comes to the Trump administration and their
32:54
Speaker 1: handling of this. But as I was saying in the
32:57
Speaker 1: Wall Street Journal article, we have to be very aware
33:00
Speaker 1: of political hit jobs. There's a lot of people out
33:02
Speaker 1: there that don't give a fuck about the truth or
33:05
Speaker 1: about the facts. All they want to do is score
33:07
Speaker 1: political points. And if you think that's only on one side,
33:10
Speaker 1: you're crazy. The Democrats love to try and kneecap people.
33:14
Speaker 1: And while they're having their moment in the sun, if
33:16
Speaker 1: you will, when it comes to Donald Trump stepping directly
33:19
Speaker 1: on his own dick when it comes to Epstein, I
33:21
Speaker 1: don't think that's going to last. Because the more people
33:24
Speaker 1: look into this, the more they're going to find out
33:26
Speaker 1: that both sides of the aisle were in on it.
33:28
Speaker 1: And both sides of the aisle ignored Jeffrey Epstein's behavior
33:32
Speaker 1: for years. Despite Trump's claim that Democrats put things in
33:35
Speaker 1: the files, many documents relating to Epstein, including those that
33:39
Speaker 1: mention Trump and several prominent Democrats, have been public for years. 100%.
33:45
Speaker 1: I've been telling you for years now that the rotten
33:47
Speaker 1: apple and the high society that resides there is absolutely corrupt.
33:52
Speaker 1: All these people were hanging out with Epstein. If you're
33:55
Speaker 1: from New York and you're a billionaire, you were breaking bread.
33:58
Speaker 1: All these people. And anyone who denies it, they're lying.
34:02
Speaker 1: So the question becomes, why are you lying? Just admit it. Yup,
34:06
Speaker 1: I went to his dinner. We were rich together. We
34:08
Speaker 1: were part of the same circle. Besides that, I have
34:11
Speaker 1: no fucking idea what dude was up to. But instead,
34:14
Speaker 1: they run. They hide. And in my opinion, the only
34:17
Speaker 1: reason you'll do that is if you're trying to hide something.
34:20
Speaker 1: So what are you trying to hide and why are
34:21
Speaker 1: you trying to hide it? Just be truthful. And the
34:26
Speaker 1: White House on Thursday shut down the idea of appointing
34:29
Speaker 1: a special prosecutor in the Epstein case. They just want
34:32
Speaker 1: it to go away. Unfortunately for them, that's not going
34:36
Speaker 1: to happen, especially now with all the new interest in
34:38
Speaker 1: the case. You got people that are interested in Epstein
34:42
Speaker 1: that never cared before. And I think if you're an
34:45
Speaker 1: honest person and you start taking a look at what
34:47
Speaker 1: happened here, It's very obvious that the whole ass system
34:50
Speaker 1: is broken and both sides are to blame for it.
34:55
Speaker 1: The idea was floated from someone in the media to
34:57
Speaker 1: the president. The president would not recommend a special prosecutor
35:01
Speaker 1: in the Epstein case. That's how he feels. White House
35:04
Speaker 1: Press Secretary Caroline Leavitt told the reporters at the briefing,
35:08
Speaker 1: not for nothing but Congress or the Senate could get
35:11
Speaker 1: things moving and get a special prosecutor appointed if they
35:14
Speaker 1: really wanted to. Asked to clarify what part Of the
35:19
Speaker 1: Epstein saga as a hoax, Trump claimed Levitt only continued
35:22
Speaker 1: to criticize Democrats. The president is referring to the fact
35:26
Speaker 1: that Democrats have now seized on this as if they
35:29
Speaker 1: ever wanted transparency when it comes to Jeffrey Epstein, which
35:33
Speaker 1: is an asinine suggestion for any Democrat to make. She said,
35:37
Speaker 1: that's true. That is not incorrect. You got all these
35:41
Speaker 1: people out here that are talking about Epstein all of
35:43
Speaker 1: a sudden, like they know what they're talking about. J-Pal
35:46
Speaker 1: and the rest of them. They didn't give a fuck.
35:48
Speaker 1: When they were in charge, did they have a committee?
35:50
Speaker 1: Did they have the survivors come up and testify and
35:53
Speaker 1: talk about what happened? No, they didn't have any of
35:56
Speaker 1: that go down. Nothing. Not a word. But all of
35:59
Speaker 1: a sudden, because they think they can score political points,
36:02
Speaker 1: they're all over it? Not a good look. And anybody
36:05
Speaker 1: who's been following along knows that's exactly what the Democrats
36:08
Speaker 1: are up to. Again, let me be very blunt about this.
36:12
Speaker 1: If they cared about transparency, if they cared about Epstein's survivors...
36:17
Speaker 1: they'd be talking about their own colleague, Stacey Plaskett. But no,
36:20
Speaker 1: not a word. So until the left starts talking about
36:23
Speaker 1: Stacey Plaskett, they can save the whole entire, oh, we
36:26
Speaker 1: just want transparency nonsense for somebody else. I'm not buying it.
36:30
Speaker 1: The Democrats had control of this building, the White House,
36:33
Speaker 1: for four years, and they didn't do a damn thing
36:35
Speaker 1: when it comes to transparency in regards to Epstein and
36:39
Speaker 1: his heinous crimes. 1,000%. Not just the last administration, all
36:43
Speaker 1: the way back to Bill Clinton. Let's be very clear.
36:46
Speaker 1: Both sides ignored it. Let it happen. In fact, both
36:50
Speaker 1: sides not only ignored it and let it happen, they
36:52
Speaker 1: were more than happy to break bread with Epstein and
36:55
Speaker 1: take his money for their political campaigns. But now you
36:58
Speaker 1: want transparency? Now you want answers? Well, guess what? We
37:02
Speaker 1: want answers from you. Epstein was arrested in 2019 and
37:06
Speaker 1: died in prison by suicide while awaiting trial on sex
37:09
Speaker 1: trafficking charges while Trump was president. Some of the naive
37:14
Speaker 1: Republicans fall right into line like they always do, the
37:17
Speaker 1: president said on Just the News. Nothing like torching your
37:20
Speaker 1: base when they don't agree with you, huh? Sounds like
37:23
Speaker 1: a good policy move moving forward. Calls for transparency on
37:27
Speaker 1: Epstein came from several Republicans on Capitol Hill on Wednesday.
37:31
Speaker 1: And Trump's own former vice president, Mike Pence, called for
37:35
Speaker 1: the administration to release all of the files regarding the
37:38
Speaker 1: Epstein investigation. Who can disagree with that? And why would
37:41
Speaker 1: you disagree with it? I don't understand. What's the holdup?
37:45
Speaker 1: And why choose this hill to die on? There's no
37:47
Speaker 1: logical explanation. So it leads people to believe that it's
37:51
Speaker 1: a cover-up. Because there's no logical explanation as to why
37:55
Speaker 1: these documents won't be released. Unless you're worried about them
37:59
Speaker 1: hurting somebody. or you're worried about the blowback that's going
38:01
Speaker 1: to come with them. Besides that, they should all be released.
38:06
Speaker 1: Levitt on Thursday defended the administration's handling of the Epstein
38:10
Speaker 1: files and attempted to distance Trump from further decision-making on
38:14
Speaker 1: the case. Levitt said it would be up to the
38:17
Speaker 1: Justice Department and Bondi to release any other credible evidence. Oh,
38:22
Speaker 1: what's credible? Who decides that? Pam Bondi? Maybe they should
38:25
Speaker 1: bring back Bill Barr, because, you know, he's the arbiter
38:28
Speaker 1: of truth and all. In terms of redactions or grand
38:32
Speaker 1: jury seals, those are questions for the Department of Justice.
38:36
Speaker 1: Those are also questions for the judges who have that
38:38
Speaker 1: information under seal. And that would have to be requested
38:42
Speaker 1: and judge would have to approve it. That's out of
38:45
Speaker 1: the president's control, she said, when asked why they wouldn't
38:48
Speaker 1: release the files with sensitive information redacted in order to
38:51
Speaker 1: provide more transparency. So in other words, let's punt the
38:56
Speaker 1: ball over to the courts that way we don't have
38:59
Speaker 1: to make a decision will leave it up to them
39:01
Speaker 1: that way if people get mad we can say look
39:03
Speaker 1: the court decided not to release it well guess what
39:07
Speaker 1: Pam Bondi runs the Department of Justice right who runs
39:10
Speaker 1: the OIG oh that's right Pam Bondi so can we
39:14
Speaker 1: get all the files from the OIG's office give us
39:17
Speaker 1: everything in your power that you can release and if
39:20
Speaker 1: you don't do that and you continue to play games
39:23
Speaker 1: Then you're going to continue to win stupid prizes when
39:26
Speaker 1: it comes to the court of public opinion. And that's
39:28
Speaker 1: what they continue to do. But instead of doing that,
39:31
Speaker 1: they're going to punt the ball and they're going to
39:33
Speaker 1: ask the court to release these grand jury documents that
39:36
Speaker 1: nobody even called for. Now, look again, I'm not saying
39:39
Speaker 1: I don't want to see them. I do. But it
39:41
Speaker 1: can't stop there. It can't just be some grand jury
39:43
Speaker 1: documents that don't come out for what? Another six, eight months.
39:47
Speaker 1: And that's the whole point, right? Wait until people aren't
39:50
Speaker 1: interested anymore and then drop the information. But unfortunately for them,
39:54
Speaker 1: that's not going to work for this story. People aren't
39:58
Speaker 1: going to forget. People aren't going to lose interest. And
40:00
Speaker 1: no matter how bad they want the story to go away,
40:03
Speaker 1: it's not going to. So they need to become proactive
40:06
Speaker 1: and get out in front of it. If not, you
40:08
Speaker 1: can expect the maelstrom that they find themselves in to
40:12
Speaker 1: continue to grow. As for us, well, we'll continue to
40:15
Speaker 1: swim through the muck looking for that clarity. All of
40:19
Speaker 1: the information that goes with this episode can be found
40:22
Speaker 1: in the description box.
