Lucas: Today we're going to talk about sports and playing at the park. You know, things you might say when you're with friends. Luna: Oh, I love sports. Let's do it. Lucas: Great. So if you're at the park and you see some friends, you can say that. Luna: Giochiamo a calcio. Yes, I'd use that. Lucas: Now, another one: Vado a correre. That means 'I'm going for a run'. You might shout that watching a game. Luna: Segna un gol! Sounds exciting. Lucas: And one more: Corro nel parco. That means 'I run in the park'. Luna: Corro nel parco. So if I go running, I can say Corro nel parco. Lucas: Exactly. Corro nel parco. Let's practice all five together. Luna: Okay, let me try. Giochiamo a calcio, Vado a correre, Facciamo una partita, Segna un gol, Corro nel parco. Lucas: That was excellent, Luna. Really good. Luna: Thanks! I'm feeling more confident now. Lucas: Let's do a little scene. Imagine we're at the park with friends. So, I say: Giochiamo a calcio? Luna: Yes! Facciamo una partita. Lucas: Perfetto. Then I go: Vado a correre prima. I'll go for a run first. Luna: Okay, I'll wait. Corro nel parco anch'io? I run in the park too? Lucas: Sure. And then later, someone scores: Segna un gol! Luna: Segna un gol! That was fun.
