- 0:48Speaker 1: Welcome to today's edition of Reflection on the Word with
- 0:50Speaker 1: Richard K. I'm Chuck Christie, and today we are asking
- 0:54Speaker 1: you to spend a few moments of your time with
- 0:56Speaker 1: us each day as Richard shares from God's Word with notes, quotes,
- 1:00Speaker 1: and stories, along with some of his own personal experiences,
- 1:03Speaker 1: to confirm for you God's great love for us, that
- 1:06Speaker 1: his compassion for us never fails, and that He has
- 1:08Speaker 1: a great faithfulness toward us in every regard. In Lamentations
- 1:12Speaker 1: Chapter three, verses twenty two and twenty three, we read,
- 1:16Speaker 1: because of the Lord's great love, we are not consumed,
- 1:20Speaker 1: for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning.
- 1:24Speaker 1: Great is your faithfulness. Now, if you miss a portion
- 1:27Speaker 1: of today's broadcast or would like to recommend it to
- 1:29Speaker 1: a friend, you can hear this program anytime online at
- 1:33Speaker 1: Talknetwork Radio dot com. Well, now, here's Richard with today's reflection.
- 1:39Speaker 2: And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, all authority
- 1:43Speaker 2: has been given to me in heaven and on earth.
- 1:47Speaker 2: Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them
- 1:52Speaker 2: in the name of the Father and of the Son
- 1:54Speaker 2: and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all
- 1:59Speaker 2: things that I have commanded you, and lo I am
- 2:03Speaker 2: with you always, even to the end of the age. Amen.
- 2:09Speaker 2: That is taken from Matthew chapter twenty eight and verses
- 2:13Speaker 2: eighteen through twenty reading from the New King James version
- 2:19Speaker 2: of the Bible. Today, I would like to begin a
- 2:22Speaker 2: series which we will entitle seven Keys to Christian Living.
- 2:28Speaker 2: There are many writers of self improvement success oriented guides.
- 2:34Speaker 2: In many ways these methods or strategies have found their
- 2:38Speaker 2: way into Christian teaching. Is the key to successful Christian
- 2:42Speaker 2: living and self improvement or God's empowerment. There are seven
- 2:47Speaker 2: keys or principles that should be applied to every Christian's
- 2:51Speaker 2: life because their extreme transforming power comes from God. We
- 2:58Speaker 2: will identify them as ex keys or X keys. Let's
- 3:04Speaker 2: view these keys as development in the Kingdom. The seven
- 3:08Speaker 2: keys begin with exalting God's name as we read in
- 3:13Speaker 2: Psalm thirty four three. Secondly, expect God's grace we read
- 3:19Speaker 2: in Ephesians two verses eight and nine. Thirdly, express God's
- 3:25Speaker 2: love John through sixteen is the personal expression of God's
- 3:32Speaker 2: love by giving his son. Number four is extend God's forgiveness.
- 3:38Speaker 2: We find this in John twenty verses twenty one through
- 3:42Speaker 2: twenty four, and we're going to number five experience God's provision.
- 3:48Speaker 2: We can see in Philippians chapter four and verse nineteen
- 3:54Speaker 2: six we explode in God's power, and this you find
- 3:58Speaker 2: through the Book of Acts, beginning with chapter one and
- 4:01Speaker 2: verse eight, Philippians chapter four, verses twelve and thirteen, and
- 4:06Speaker 2: also in Revelation twenty verse six. And then finally we
- 4:13Speaker 2: are to expand God's kingdom again. Our core verse was
- 4:21Speaker 2: Matthew twenty eight, eighteen through twenty. You know we're not
- 4:26Speaker 2: self improved beings. We are transformed, empowered children of the
- 4:32Speaker 2: Almighty God. And the scripture states that it is the
- 4:36Speaker 2: Father's good pleasure to give us the kingdom. Let me
- 4:40Speaker 2: add that when we exalt his name, we extole his virtues,
- 4:45Speaker 2: we express his praise, we experience his presence, and we're
- 4:50Speaker 2: empowered for his work. This world awaits the transformed Holy
- 4:58Speaker 2: Spirit fills Christian who is used of God to expand
- 5:04Speaker 2: God's kingdom. Are you seven keys at work in your life?
- 5:09Speaker 2: If so, have you inspired other believers in Christ to
- 5:14Speaker 2: unlock the lost, suffering world that Christ died for and
- 5:18Speaker 2: now lives through you? To use the keys. Whatever you
- 5:23Speaker 2: bind on earth is bound in heaven, and whatever you
- 5:27Speaker 2: loose on earth is loosed in Heaven. From Matthew Chapter
- 5:32Speaker 2: eighteen and Versus eighteen through nineteen.
- 5:37Speaker 1: Richard will be right back in a moment to wrap up.
- 5:40Speaker 1: But if you've just joined us, you've been listening to
- 5:42Speaker 1: Reflections on the Word with Richard K. You can hear
- 5:45Speaker 1: this message in its entirety again online as well as
- 5:48Speaker 1: Richard's entire archive at Talknetwork Radio dot com. We would
- 5:53Speaker 1: like to acknowledge our theme song, how Great Is Thy
- 5:55Speaker 1: Faithfulness from the America's twenty five Favorite Hymns Album, unless otherwise.
- 6:01Speaker 1: Express scriptures are read from the Homan Christian Standard Bible,
- 6:05Speaker 1: which is published by Homan Bible Publishers in Nashville, Tennessee.
- 6:09Speaker 1: Additional resources used for Reflections on the Word with Richard
- 6:13Speaker 1: K include Great Is Thy Faithfulness by Our Daily Bread
- 6:17Speaker 1: and printed by Discovery House Publishers. Again, here is Richard
- 6:21Speaker 1: to wrap up today's message.
- 6:24Speaker 2: You know, when we begin to understand that this is
- 6:30Speaker 2: normal Christian living, we establish the means of X keys
- 6:38Speaker 2: not only being used, but being taught. And Jesus came
- 6:44Speaker 2: and spoke to them, saying, all authority has been given
- 6:48Speaker 2: to me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and
- 6:53Speaker 2: make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name
- 6:57Speaker 2: of the Father and of the Son and of the
- 6:59Speaker 2: Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I
- 7:04Speaker 2: have commanded you. And lo, I am with you always,
- 7:09Speaker 2: even to the end of the age. I'm in again
- 7:15Speaker 2: from Matthew chapter twenty eight, verses eighteen through twenty and
- 7:22Speaker 2: that is today's Reflection on the Word.
- 7:28Speaker 1: Thank you, Richard. Join us again tomorrow when we continue
- 7:31Speaker 1: with the next edition of Reflections on the Word with
- 7:34Speaker 1: Richard k Or Richard and the entire team. This is
