- 0:49Speaker 1: My weekend?
- 0:53Speaker 2: I'm just ready to walk again. I put a little
- 0:55Speaker 2: pressure on the foot this week so and I was
- 0:58Speaker 2: able to stand on my head.
- 1:01Speaker 1: So that was good. That was exciting.
- 1:03Speaker 2: That's the gist of my life right now. Just baby steps. Honestly,
- 1:07Speaker 2: I ain't do shit. I want to go to the
- 1:10Speaker 2: fair the South Carolina State there.
- 1:15Speaker 1: Is now.
- 1:15Speaker 2: It's going on right now, and I want to go today.
- 1:18Speaker 2: I need to get me an elephant ear?
- 1:20Speaker 1: Is it there in Colombia now?
- 1:22Speaker 2: Hm?
- 1:23Speaker 1: Till Sunday, I hadn't seen any advertise. The one thing
- 1:26Speaker 1: I saw about the fair in Charleston was help keep
- 1:29Speaker 1: the fair, like as if they didn't have the money
- 1:32Speaker 1: to bring the fair hair or something.
- 1:34Speaker 2: Damn, I want to go. I want to give me
- 1:39Speaker 2: an elephant ear. I want to get me a turkey leg,
- 1:42Speaker 2: and I want a polar sausage. That's see, and then
- 1:45Speaker 2: I can go home. I can't get on. You think
- 1:47Speaker 2: they'll let me on the ride with a broken foot?
- 1:49Speaker 1: Probably not, they should, Okay, So they are having a
- 1:55Speaker 1: fair this year starts October thirty on Halloween, actually October
- 2:01Speaker 1: thirty first. Ours is called Coastal Carolina. Is that Jolls?
- 2:05Speaker 2: Mm hmm. It's the state fair that happens in Columbia. Yeah.
- 2:13Speaker 1: I don't know why I thought, like the same fair
- 2:15Speaker 1: travels throughout the city.
- 2:17Speaker 2: Mm hm, it's different.
- 2:18Speaker 1: I mean throughout the city. State Yeah, throughout the state.
- 2:21Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 2:23Speaker 1: I am into the fair in a long time, Like
- 2:25Speaker 1: not the Charleston Fair. I might go this year. I
- 2:27Speaker 1: might be sure. You should go.
- 2:29Speaker 2: That'll be funny dress up, as I was about to say,
- 2:33Speaker 2: dress up as a witch. But you're supposed to go
- 2:34Speaker 2: as something you ate all year long.
- 2:36Speaker 1: I know, I don't know what I would do. I probably,
- 2:39Speaker 1: I don't know. I might go as beetle juice or something. Look,
- 2:46Speaker 1: I might dress the cat up as a witch. What
- 2:49Speaker 1: did you do over the weekend? I do Oh, I
- 2:51Speaker 1: did do something. My mom had like a gathering for
- 2:54Speaker 1: like the small kids at her house. Just pizza and
- 2:58Speaker 1: hot dogs and shit like that. That was all the
- 3:01Speaker 1: kids can hang out together, everybody's small kids.
- 3:05Speaker 2: But I don't know.
- 3:07Speaker 1: I've been weirded out by my mom lately. Man. You know,
- 3:10Speaker 1: there was a whole family reunion last month that she
- 3:13Speaker 1: didn't tell any of us about. And she was there,
- 3:17Speaker 1: so I think, like even her telling me about the
- 3:19Speaker 1: shit at her house this weekend, it's almost like she
- 3:22Speaker 1: was hesitating. And when I got there, my oldest sister
- 3:29Speaker 1: was there from out of town. I'm like, damn, I
- 3:30Speaker 1: even know Londa was coming. She was like, I told
- 3:34Speaker 1: you that, No you did not. Did not tell me, girl,
- 3:39Speaker 1: I don't know what the hell is on my bad
- 3:41Speaker 1: not inviting you to the family and she ain't tell
- 3:45Speaker 1: none of us. She was sitting there a front row
- 3:48Speaker 1: with a picture. That's how I found out about it. It
- 3:51Speaker 1: was like Labor Day weekend at that and it was
- 3:55Speaker 1: like Monday. When I seen her like sitting up on
- 3:57Speaker 1: a picture. I'm like, yo, what is happening? But anyway,
- 4:00Speaker 1: I don't know, y'all. I practiced detachment, so I can't.
- 4:05Speaker 1: Like I just I just can't be overly concerned what
- 4:10Speaker 1: other adult people want to do. I just can't. You
- 4:13Speaker 1: know what I'm saying, because it gets to a certain point.
- 4:16Speaker 1: It's just I love my mom and to death man
- 4:17Speaker 1: that used to be my best teacher. I don't know
- 4:19Speaker 1: what the fucking.
- 4:20Speaker 2: Y'all will get back to being besties, no worries.
- 4:23Speaker 1: People be listen, people be who they gonna be. We
- 4:25Speaker 1: just had this episode about daddy issues and shit and
- 4:28Speaker 1: spoke about our parents a little bit, and they just
- 4:32Speaker 1: be who they gonna be. So I guess you almost
- 4:34Speaker 1: got to realize, Okay, let me be a little bit
- 4:36Speaker 1: different so we can have a relationship.
- 4:39Speaker 2: Yeah, but y'all would get back to being besties. Don't
- 4:42Speaker 2: worry about I watch what I.
- 4:43Speaker 1: Have for me. That's tough anyway. So yeah, she had
- 4:48Speaker 1: like a little thing at her house for the little
- 4:50Speaker 1: kids and they run around. Everybody was musty okay, sound
- 4:55Speaker 1: like you know, smell like straight onion, and girl, I
- 5:00Speaker 1: love those kids. So I know nobody name all like
- 5:04Speaker 1: my little cousins like their children. I don't know none
- 5:06Speaker 1: of these kids' names. Baby, I'm like, oh baby, that is.
- 5:13Speaker 2: Speaking of musty. I've been trying to find like a
- 5:16Speaker 2: aluminum free deodorant that's gonna do the job.
- 5:20Speaker 1: Don't know, no them do it.
- 5:21Speaker 2: Like I just have to like carry wipes with me
- 5:25Speaker 2: and the deodorant because I'm gonna have to, like after
- 5:28Speaker 2: a few hours, I'm gonna have to freshen back up.
- 5:31Speaker 1: There's no way around it. So I use the I
- 5:36Speaker 1: use the arm and hammer natural deorderant. And I mean
- 5:41Speaker 1: so with natural deorderance is not going to completely block
- 5:46Speaker 1: the smell and it's not gonna block the sweat because
- 5:51Speaker 1: what the aluminum deorderans do is clogs your your glandor yeah.
- 5:56Speaker 2: Yeah, and that's I'm okay with knowing that I'm going
- 5:58Speaker 2: to sweat, right, but I don't want to stink.
- 6:01Speaker 1: Ever, you got again, something that's gonna be like a
- 6:04Speaker 1: super smell good type thing.
- 6:06Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm so used to my arm is smelling like powder,
- 6:09Speaker 2: you know. So now it's just I'm using the schmidts Schmidt.
- 6:16Speaker 2: It's magnesium and something. It's just it's not it's not
- 6:21Speaker 2: giving what I needed to give.
- 6:23Speaker 1: Girl my cousin mom.
- 6:24Speaker 2: And it's not hot outside. I'm thinking, like, if this
- 6:26Speaker 2: is what it's doing right now, I'm.
- 6:29Speaker 1: I'm used to it. Bitch. Let me tell you. I
- 6:31Speaker 1: be singing like because I've been wearing I've been wearing
- 6:34Speaker 1: natural disorder for at least ten years now, Bitch, listen,
- 6:37Speaker 1: it's just a possibility. And I was singing with regular deordering.
- 6:41Speaker 1: I just have high body order. Like when I go
- 6:44Speaker 1: to the gym, bitch, it's smelled like a nigga for real.
- 6:49Speaker 1: So that's why I washed so much. But also exfoliating
- 6:53Speaker 1: underneath your arm, so I use those like African they
- 6:58Speaker 1: call it African sponge, but it's essentially like just imagine
- 7:02Speaker 1: a loofah but like taking apart. Yeah yeah, I use that,
- 7:06Speaker 1: and it actually helps because you exfoliating and getting some
- 7:08Speaker 1: of that bacteria. Yeah, you were moving a little bit
- 7:13Speaker 1: more of the bacteria from underneath the from those little crevices.
- 7:17Speaker 1: So it's not as bad as it used to be
- 7:19Speaker 1: because I exfoliate under my arm really good. But girl,
- 7:25Speaker 1: baby girl, at least I'm consciously aware. Yeah, me too.
- 7:31Speaker 2: I carry wipes in the older, and I carried.
- 7:33Speaker 1: Those little mini two brushes with me.
- 7:35Speaker 2: I'm ready for everything when it comes to my body, older,
- 7:38Speaker 2: my cleanliness.
- 7:40Speaker 1: I never want nobody like.
- 7:42Speaker 2: Hey, did you smell tear me? God damn, you know
- 7:44Speaker 2: what I'm saying. I don't never want nobody to be
- 7:46Speaker 2: able to say that about it.
- 7:47Speaker 1: It's stupid shit. Let's get this sends, y'all. Did you
- 7:52Speaker 1: see this? This this sixty four year old woman pregnant.
- 7:57Speaker 2: Yes, and I was excited for her. I don't know
- 8:00Speaker 2: why her being pregnant gave me hope that I could
- 8:03Speaker 2: be pregnant.
- 8:04Speaker 1: It always give me hope to see an old bitch pregnant.
- 8:06Speaker 1: I'd be like me too, my time is coming.
- 8:09Speaker 2: But sixty four is just like how much time are
- 8:11Speaker 2: you gonna have with your kid?
- 8:13Speaker 1: You know that? Mean the kid could be a blessing
- 8:15Speaker 1: for somebody else. She might know a younger woman who
- 8:18Speaker 1: needs a child, and she can make that person the
- 8:20Speaker 1: god god mom.
- 8:22Speaker 2: Something like that.
- 8:24Speaker 1: I would be fucking devastated, y'all. So it's just a
- 8:28Speaker 1: video on Instagram, the sixty four year old woman sitting
- 8:31Speaker 1: up in the obgyn just finding out she's pregnant. Twelve
- 8:36Speaker 1: weeks pregnant, and she's sitting in the car now at
- 8:39Speaker 1: this point, and she calls the eighty something year old
- 8:43Speaker 1: man named Rufus. It's Regina, not Regina, what's her? Nah, Judy,
- 8:49Speaker 1: it's Judy and Rufus having a baby. She's sixty four,
- 8:52Speaker 1: Rufus and his day damn eighties. Rufus don't understand what
- 8:56Speaker 1: the hell is coming out of her fucking mouth. How
- 8:59Speaker 1: is this even possible that baby's gonna be so old
- 9:04Speaker 1: to coming out right old fashioned gonna be that baby's
- 9:10Speaker 1: gonna be like sixty coming out the womb.
- 9:13Speaker 2: That's crazy that I've never heard of a woman that
- 9:16Speaker 2: age being able to conceive.
- 9:18Speaker 1: I'm not sixty now. I know some like forty six,
- 9:23Speaker 1: Like I know some people now who are adults who
- 9:25Speaker 1: parents had them really.
- 9:26Speaker 2: Old, right, But yes, not no, sixty nothing.
- 9:30Speaker 1: I'm pretty sure we can find some cases in other
- 9:32Speaker 1: cases of people getting That means she's healthy, That means
- 9:36Speaker 1: she's really I mean, she's very healthy. Yeah, but I
- 9:39Speaker 1: mean she might need to get some chromosomal chromosonal tests
- 9:42Speaker 1: done just to get her her baby has like you know, you.
- 9:46Speaker 2: Know it is those serious and stuff like that.
- 9:49Speaker 1: What if she has twins? Because they say the older
- 9:52Speaker 1: you get, the bigger the babies be, and it's a
- 9:54Speaker 1: chance of having more than one at a time.
- 9:57Speaker 2: Damn crazy twins is nuts. I would give them up
- 10:03Speaker 2: for adoption at sixty four years old.
- 10:05Speaker 1: That's wow. So Rufus was on the phone like being disrespectful, okay,
- 10:10Speaker 1: And it's kind of triggering for me because I have
- 10:12Speaker 1: been a pregnant woman calling a man telling them, hey, man, look,
- 10:17Speaker 1: you gotta be pregnant. But imagine being that old and
- 10:20Speaker 1: this old ass man still playing with you on the phone.
- 10:22Speaker 1: Or maybe he thinks this is a joke, but she
- 10:24Speaker 1: didn't sound like she was playing at all. And he
- 10:26Speaker 1: was like, that ain't my baby. She was like, well,
- 10:29Speaker 1: we'll go down and take the DNA test and I'm
- 10:31Speaker 1: gonna put you on child support.
- 10:36Speaker 2: Imagine being eighty four on child support is crazy.
- 10:40Speaker 1: So h one of our mutual friends, our mutual this
- 10:44Speaker 1: your friend, I met his ass through you. He sent
- 10:47Speaker 1: the post and all I said was my god, I
- 10:50Speaker 1: would be devastated. And he said, look how nasty she
- 10:54Speaker 1: got when she had some power. I would never want
- 10:58Speaker 1: to get a woman pregnant ever again in life. Just disgusting.
- 11:03Speaker 1: I just want to let men know that women do
- 11:04Speaker 1: have an innate power and inherent power that y'all can
- 11:08Speaker 1: ever have, and that's why a lot of y'all be
- 11:10Speaker 1: fucking mad. So it is a sense of power. Just
- 11:14Speaker 1: deal with it, Okay, It's just one of those things.
- 11:17Speaker 2: So I or or get a aseectomy if you don't
- 11:20Speaker 2: want to reallyquish your power when it comes to these
- 11:23Speaker 2: type of situations, you don't have to. You can use condoms,
- 11:27Speaker 2: you can get a sect. To me, there are all
- 11:29Speaker 2: kinds of ways which doesn't work often that don't work
- 11:33Speaker 2: a lot of us here, A lot of y'all listening
- 11:36Speaker 2: is here because of pull out, but.
- 11:40Speaker 1: They don't want to do that. They just want to
- 11:42Speaker 1: keep putting our bodies through the bullshit, the abortion, abortion pill,
- 11:47Speaker 1: every you know what I'm saying, Like they don't want
- 11:48Speaker 1: to have to go through and have any procedures. But
- 11:51Speaker 1: I don't understand why, like women's health is always like
- 11:54Speaker 1: on the forefront and shit like this is the abortion
- 11:58Speaker 1: election as far as I'm because this shit is weird
- 12:01Speaker 1: to me. But I said, I responded to him, and
- 12:04Speaker 1: I was like, that's not how I perceived a convo.
- 12:06Speaker 1: She felt played. He basically was saying it's not his child.
- 12:10Speaker 1: If he responded differently, differently, so would she have A
- 12:14Speaker 1: woman can't be happy about bringing life if the man isn't, Like,
- 12:19Speaker 1: how do you be happy about like having this baby?
- 12:22Speaker 1: Like the man controls that part of.
- 12:23Speaker 2: It, right. Oftentimes, some women don't give a fuck whether
- 12:30Speaker 2: the man is a happy participant or not. You know,
- 12:34Speaker 2: some people just happy to be pregnant and don't care
- 12:36Speaker 2: if the nigga care or not. I mean the man,
- 12:38Speaker 2: because it ain't always a nigga, but.
- 12:42Speaker 1: I mean, but if you ain't, if you acting like
- 12:44Speaker 1: this ain't my child, I don't want the baby. You're
- 12:46Speaker 1: a niggah.
- 12:48Speaker 2: You're not across the board.
- 12:51Speaker 1: And I'm not against the DNA testing and all that shit, like,
- 12:54Speaker 1: I feel like that could be that should be automatic,
- 12:56Speaker 1: because women do be out here doing some really dirty
- 12:59Speaker 1: shit that men don't find out about until it's too late.
- 13:02Speaker 2: Yeah, because I'm about to stop using condoms.
- 13:06Speaker 1: Huh, you are you even having sex? No?
- 13:12Speaker 2: But when I do, I ain't. I'm doing it right,
- 13:17Speaker 2: I'm about to stop.
- 13:18Speaker 1: Yeah, bitch, do that ship. I can't be talking about
- 13:24Speaker 1: I want a baby and always using the condoms, right,
- 13:27Speaker 1: and bitches be on birth control at this big age girl,
- 13:32Speaker 1: Just get out have fun. Why are you even so
- 13:38Speaker 1: fucking with somebody that you got to use a condom with? Like, Okay,
- 13:42Speaker 1: these niggas are scary. Okay, Yeah, I don't know. I
- 13:46Speaker 1: don't like sleeping.
- 13:47Speaker 2: Anytime I've ever had sex without a condom, I don't sleep.
- 13:53Speaker 1: God, if you let me get it through, get through
- 13:55Speaker 1: this one time, God, please negative.
- 13:59Speaker 2: Right, I've been in the bed and the dark, eyes
- 14:01Speaker 2: wide open, scared as hell.
- 14:06Speaker 1: Boy, listen, I remember those days at my younger age,
- 14:09Speaker 1: man be down, wild out living Levita Loca. Now you
- 14:15Speaker 1: go to pray before the appointments, right, lot, But y'all
- 14:19Speaker 1: started painting. That's how I started painting back in the day,
- 14:23Speaker 1: on my early twenties.
- 14:24Speaker 2: I started painting.
- 14:25Speaker 1: Waiting on an HIV test for anxiety. And you know,
- 14:28Speaker 1: back then, that shit took two weeks to get the
- 14:31Speaker 1: results down there, bitch, I didn't leave my house for
- 14:35Speaker 1: two weeks almost, and that street I was just going
- 14:37Speaker 1: to work and come to fuck home, not talking to nobody.
- 14:41Speaker 1: I wasressed out. Not Picasso, Pocasso. Y'all go get tested today.
- 14:53Speaker 1: It's scary at him.
- 14:54Speaker 2: Man, So uh if y'all saw this over the weekend.
- 14:58Speaker 2: Martha Stewart has a miss for the ladies. Don't let
- 15:01Speaker 2: your man cheat, but she if you want. Martha is
- 15:04Speaker 2: finally opening up about the secrets of her personal life,
- 15:08Speaker 2: and her revelations are as bold as her public persona.
- 15:11Speaker 2: The eighty three year old ex con is at the
- 15:13Speaker 2: center of the Netflix documentary Martha, directed by R. J.
- 15:17Speaker 2: Cutler Okay, where she candidly addresses her past mistakes, including
- 15:22Speaker 2: infidelity and a striking moment from the trailer, Stewart and
- 15:25Speaker 2: missed that she cheated on her first husband, Andrew Stewart,
- 15:28Speaker 2: early in their marriage, and the fact that has long
- 15:31Speaker 2: been kept under wraps. It goes on to say that
- 15:35Speaker 2: martha The only marriage was to Andrew Stewart, whom she
- 15:37Speaker 2: married in nineteen sixty one. Despite her flourishing career, their
- 15:40Speaker 2: marriage was plagued by issues and they divorced in nineteen ninety.
- 15:45Speaker 2: What else was there was something else that was juicy
- 15:47Speaker 2: about this?
- 15:48Speaker 1: Yeah? She basically was like, like, he never knew about that,
- 15:52Speaker 1: So why y'all even asking me about that shit? Like
- 15:55Speaker 1: they don't know it didn't happen, right, No, it doesn't
- 15:59Speaker 1: like it doesn't it didn't happen, Like, as long as
- 16:03Speaker 1: your man doesn't know it didn't happen, and vice versa. Yeah,
- 16:08Speaker 1: because that's how nigga's really real. And when men you
- 16:11Speaker 1: literally have to have a transcript of the session for
- 16:15Speaker 1: them to tell you the truth about.
- 16:17Speaker 2: It, right, don't trust your eyes, trust me.
- 16:22Speaker 1: Yeah, And she goes on to say, if you're married
- 16:25Speaker 1: and your husband starts to cheat on you, he's a
- 16:27Speaker 1: piece of shit. Get out that marriage. The cameraman zooms
- 16:30Speaker 1: out as the producer asked, didn't you have an affair
- 16:33Speaker 1: earlier on without missing a beat? Stewart responds, yeah, but
- 16:37Speaker 1: I don't think Andy ever knew about that.
- 16:44Speaker 2: What I mean, how unfair is that she just said
- 16:46Speaker 2: your husband is a piece of shit.
- 16:48Speaker 1: It then went on to say, and you find out
- 16:52Speaker 1: he's a piece of shit if he cheats and you
- 16:55Speaker 1: never know and he never misses the beat, he's the
- 16:58Speaker 1: perfect husband. All you could act is respect. It's so
- 17:02Speaker 1: much pussy out here.
- 17:04Speaker 2: Do you feel like cheating is a deal breaker?
- 17:06Speaker 1: They talk about that all the time, and I don't.
- 17:09Speaker 1: I'm getting the older I get, I'm leaning closer to yeah,
- 17:14Speaker 1: because my current relationship, boy, if I fight on any
- 17:17Speaker 1: fucking thing. I'm like, you don't got no more room
- 17:20Speaker 1: for nothing, So I don't know, I'm kind of leaning
- 17:24Speaker 1: towards like we're just self control.
- 17:28Speaker 2: Yeah, because you're forty now, especially like I be feeling
- 17:33Speaker 2: like they did start working real good after they start
- 17:36Speaker 2: hitting forty, you know, like you're not you're not your stammaa.
- 17:41Speaker 2: But the desire for a whole bunch of different pussy
- 17:46Speaker 2: kind of wanes.
- 17:46Speaker 1: Right, Yeah, I would think, you know, I don't know
- 17:52Speaker 1: that man who just out here is still waking up
- 17:54Speaker 1: every day to chase pussy. You were supposed to do
- 17:56Speaker 1: that in your twenties and thirties, Yeah, Like now like
- 18:00Speaker 1: it should be like you're not willing to risk your home,
- 18:04Speaker 1: your marriage, your relationship for somebody who really don't matter
- 18:09Speaker 1: if they if she matters that much, you need to
- 18:10Speaker 1: go ahead over there, right, just don't be with nobody. Yeah,
- 18:16Speaker 1: be single. But the thing is these men swear they
- 18:18Speaker 1: be single, and the truth is half of them can't
- 18:21Speaker 1: be alone. You They be in a relationship in some capacity. Right.
- 18:26Speaker 1: It's not until a woman try to check them for
- 18:28Speaker 1: something that they are doing that they say, oh, weed together,
- 18:32Speaker 1: we wasn't in a relationship, right, But we've been doing
- 18:36Speaker 1: all the things, having raw sex, sleeping at each other
- 18:39Speaker 1: house for days, cooking.
- 18:43Speaker 2: With my family, you meet.
- 18:44Speaker 1: My kids, you exactly, But now I'm crazy when I
- 18:51Speaker 1: try to tell you about playing with me. Yeah, we
- 18:53Speaker 1: ain't need like that. And obviously this happens until they're
- 18:57Speaker 1: eighty or dead. Obviously men going to always be playing
- 19:00Speaker 1: with you like this.
- 19:02Speaker 2: Look at rufus.
- 19:03Speaker 1: That ain't my baby Judy ship. Hey, look I'm a
- 19:09Speaker 1: calling that you got rufous, but you got rufous man. Y'all?
- 19:15Speaker 1: Did y'all? Did you see Droe and t I on
- 19:18Speaker 1: the Breakfast Club? This is such a weird exchange, Like,
- 19:21Speaker 1: who was that guy? So there was a Droe was
- 19:25Speaker 1: talking about addiction on the Breakfast Club and how he
- 19:27Speaker 1: was on drugs for many years, even his daughter, and
- 19:31Speaker 1: that that part really pissed me off. When the guy
- 19:33Speaker 1: was snickering in the back about he like snickered the
- 19:36Speaker 1: hardest when he mentioned his daughter. So Joe turned around
- 19:40Speaker 1: was like, man, I'll slap you. I thought they were.
- 19:42Speaker 3: Playing like but you know, you know it was more
- 19:47Speaker 3: than that. It was actually overdose. You feel what I'm saying,
- 19:50Speaker 3: and I used the I used this platform with the
- 19:54Speaker 3: with the Thank god.
- 20:02Speaker 1: That's crazy.
- 20:04Speaker 3: He's a mechanic, mechanics always laughing.
- 20:09Speaker 1: There's a dastardly individual almost overdose, yo, I did you
- 20:14Speaker 1: know what I mean?
- 20:15Speaker 3: And all the all of these things happened, the overdose.
- 20:20Speaker 3: My daughter was on drugs, and you know, career wise,
- 20:24Speaker 3: I wasn't aware.
- 20:25Speaker 1: I wasn't what's up with you?
- 20:30Speaker 3: Are you? Finnah? Get slapped? I mean, we're cool, but
- 20:33Speaker 3: I slapped you by laughing. Man, I'm just I'm just
- 20:36Speaker 3: telling you we're cool.
- 20:37Speaker 1: Slapping.
- 20:38Speaker 3: What you want to do, what you want to do?
- 20:43Speaker 1: Him take you out of sober drove.
- 20:47Speaker 3: He listen, Hey, listen, hey, both of y'all.
- 20:51Speaker 1: Y'all, everybody came in and mother with me. Hey look,
- 20:55Speaker 1: everybody came in the motherfucker with me. Hey look, everybody
- 20:57Speaker 1: came in the motheruck with me.
- 20:58Speaker 2: Hey.
- 20:58Speaker 1: Look remember who you came and remember what we do
- 21:01Speaker 1: with him? Man, come on, man, they get the ship together, bro,
- 21:04Speaker 1: all right.
- 21:06Speaker 2: I think the friend, the guy in the back, was
- 21:10Speaker 2: happy to be getting some airtime. I think he was
- 21:13Speaker 2: just enjoying the attention because he's not he's not a star.
- 21:17Speaker 2: You know, he wasn't the star. He wasn't asked to
- 21:19Speaker 2: sit at the desk. He was just in the background
- 21:22Speaker 2: and Charlamagne was giving him some attention and he was
- 21:26Speaker 2: trying to keep that energy going because there's no way possible.
- 21:29Speaker 2: He thought any of that was funny.
- 21:31Speaker 1: It's weird. They need to get him from around them immediately,
- 21:35Speaker 1: that was just some chase. Yeah, that ain't your friend
- 21:38Speaker 1: because he don't even know how to play his part. Man,
- 21:41Speaker 1: that's a big, grown ass man. And Drop was like,
- 21:43Speaker 1: he's just a mechanic. Why if he's just a mechanic,
- 21:46Speaker 1: why y'all.
- 21:46Speaker 2: Got bad for all the mechanics out there, because I
- 21:49Speaker 2: know some really you know, good mechanics, Like, damn, why
- 21:54Speaker 2: I gotta be just a mechanic. I went laughing at
- 21:57Speaker 2: your baby.
- 21:57Speaker 1: Edit you, but you need this.
- 22:02Speaker 2: Mechanics are essential, Yes they are. I keep shout out
- 22:06Speaker 2: to all the mechanics out there.
- 22:08Speaker 1: One thing about I'm gonna keep me a mechanic.
- 22:10Speaker 2: Bitch me too.
- 22:14Speaker 1: If I can't do it myself, I know somebody who can.
- 22:21Speaker 2: Goodness.
- 22:22Speaker 1: But speaking of addiction, that's what we want to talk
- 22:25Speaker 1: about today, y'all. What are you addicted to. It doesn't
- 22:28Speaker 1: have to just be drugs, because there's always there's like
- 22:30Speaker 1: physical addiction, behavioral type addictions. So let's talk about it.
- 22:38Speaker 1: We'll be back.
- 22:39Speaker 2: I got a couple. What are you addicted to?
- 22:47Speaker 1: Aj all type of shit? Okay, relationships is one, Like
- 22:53Speaker 1: I feel like I'm addicted to people. I can get
- 22:56Speaker 1: addicted to people. I'll wake up one day and be like,
- 22:58Speaker 1: I don't funk with you no more. So it's like
- 23:02Speaker 1: wavering a little bit. Can you call it that?
- 23:06Speaker 2: If you can just wake up and not do it
- 23:08Speaker 2: no more?
- 23:08Speaker 1: Yeah, because it might take me three four years to
- 23:10Speaker 1: kick it. Okay, Yeah, that's an extended period of time
- 23:14Speaker 1: that I've been addicted to this thing and now I'm not.
- 23:19Speaker 1: So it might take me a while to get over
- 23:21Speaker 1: the addiction, but I can m hm. I like, I
- 23:25Speaker 1: think I like shrooms on Friday. That's my first one.
- 23:30Speaker 1: On Fridays. It's very specific, you know, I don't know
- 23:33Speaker 1: why Fridays have always just felt so good to me,
- 23:36Speaker 1: even since I was a kid. Like Friday's just all
- 23:40Speaker 1: like knowing you don't have to do shit the next day,
- 23:42Speaker 1: or as an adult, you guys something to do every
- 23:44Speaker 1: fucking day. Because you probably got some shit you don't
- 23:46Speaker 1: put off throughout the week that you got to do
- 23:48Speaker 1: on Saturday. But I don't know, Saturday is like the
- 23:51Speaker 1: the life just feels different on Fridays.
- 23:54Speaker 2: I mean, you know what, not me coming from I've
- 23:58Speaker 2: always done here. Saturday is just a busy work day
- 24:01Speaker 2: for me. So it's Friday. Don't feel like the weekend
- 24:04Speaker 2: for me like everybody else. It never has, you know,
- 24:08Speaker 2: Saturday night is my Friday night. But I still don't
- 24:14Speaker 2: do trooms. I tried them. I tried shrooms twice in life,
- 24:21Speaker 2: and one time it was bad because the person I
- 24:23Speaker 2: tried it with was not a good person.
- 24:25Speaker 1: To be around and got them.
- 24:27Speaker 2: And then the other time was pretty cool. I like
- 24:31Speaker 2: was listening to classical music and like zooming in on paintings,
- 24:37Speaker 2: like I was zooming deep in on paintings on my phone,
- 24:40Speaker 2: and like it was. It was trippy, for sure, But
- 24:43Speaker 2: that's the only time I've ever done shrooms. It's nothing
- 24:45Speaker 2: that I've ever like.
- 24:48Speaker 1: I prefer weed.
- 24:49Speaker 2: That's why I'm addicted to weed. But I don't even
- 24:51Speaker 2: know if I'm addicted to it because the dude I
- 24:55Speaker 2: used to get my weed from used to be my boo.
- 24:58Speaker 2: So it was free. And now that he not my
- 25:00Speaker 2: boot and I have to pay for weed. I haven't
- 25:02Speaker 2: been smoking at all. But was I really addicted or
- 25:05Speaker 2: was it just free?
- 25:06Speaker 1: I'm addicted to free weed. I got to pay for it, bitch.
- 25:11Speaker 1: The addition is gone.
- 25:13Speaker 2: It's gone. It's just like that crazy And then love.
- 25:17Speaker 1: I love love?
- 25:21Speaker 2: How long my whole life. I've always loved love. I've
- 25:26Speaker 2: been I feel like I got set up with all
- 25:28Speaker 2: the fairy tale books from a little girl, and it
- 25:31Speaker 2: made me fall in love with love as a little girl.
- 25:33Speaker 2: And I just been loving love ever since.
- 25:36Speaker 1: I know you though, like, what do you mean by that?
- 25:40Speaker 2: I just love the feeling of love. I love to
- 25:42Speaker 2: be loved. I love to love others. I just love love.
- 25:46Speaker 2: So you're you're in love with the idea of love.
- 25:50Speaker 1: But what happens when it? Like, I think your love
- 25:53Speaker 1: be fleeting. That's what I'm getting to.
- 25:56Speaker 2: Because when I love you, I be loving you down
- 25:58Speaker 2: for life forever.
- 26:03Speaker 1: We happened to the weed man.
- 26:04Speaker 2: I still love him, but he just loving him was
- 26:09Speaker 2: killing me. So I had to go. You know what
- 26:11Speaker 2: I'm saying, But.
- 26:14Speaker 1: Yeah, you think your love is conditional? Though.
- 26:18Speaker 2: I mean, I'm not God, so yeah, I ain't your
- 26:21Speaker 2: mama either. I can't. I can't say my love is
- 26:26Speaker 2: not without conditions because if my weed man came over
- 26:31Speaker 2: here and harm my sister, you know, and did something
- 26:33Speaker 2: to harm her, and that love would change, right, you know.
- 26:38Speaker 2: So I can't just say it's not without condition because
- 26:43Speaker 2: I ain't your mom or God. So yeah, but I can,
- 26:49Speaker 2: like I can like still love someone who has broken
- 26:53Speaker 2: my heart, you know.
- 26:54Speaker 1: Yeah. I feel like if I ever told somebody I
- 26:57Speaker 1: loved them like I meant it, and I still love them.
- 26:59Speaker 1: I may not be in life with them, but I
- 27:01Speaker 1: still care about their well being.
- 27:03Speaker 2: I mean, right, I don't want nothing bad to have
- 27:05Speaker 2: it too.
- 27:05Speaker 1: I mean, I take them into consideration like I did
- 27:08Speaker 1: when I was in love with them, but I do
- 27:11Speaker 1: care about, you know, how they're doing. I want to
- 27:14Speaker 1: still see them doing well, even some motherfuckers that I
- 27:17Speaker 1: send my hate, because it's a very thin line between
- 27:22Speaker 1: love and hate. But I never want to see like
- 27:24Speaker 1: you doing bad in any capacity.
- 27:26Speaker 2: I don't even think I have nobody that I like
- 27:30Speaker 2: for real hate, you know, Like it's some people that
- 27:33Speaker 2: I despise, like George Zimmerman.
- 27:36Speaker 1: Isn't that like a synonym for hate to despise? Hate
- 27:42Speaker 1: is stronger than despise, right, I don't know. I think
- 27:45Speaker 1: it's just the word like, I don't know.
- 27:48Speaker 2: I'm hate is just such a powerful world where it's
- 27:52Speaker 2: just as strong as love. To me, you know, we're
- 27:55Speaker 2: just equal and opposite end of the spectrum. And I
- 27:59Speaker 2: just don't feel like I really carry hate in me,
- 28:02Speaker 2: like real hate.
- 28:04Speaker 1: I have a disdain, yeah.
- 28:07Speaker 2: For a lot of people. What are your other addictions?
- 28:10Speaker 1: Oh?
- 28:12Speaker 2: I see your list sugar?
- 28:13Speaker 1: Oh my god, how you giving my list? Bitch? That's both,
- 28:18Speaker 1: that's both are sugar. I didn't even realize this is shared.
- 28:23Speaker 1: How did that happen? Don't you send it to me?
- 28:25Speaker 1: I ain't never sent that to you? You did you
- 28:28Speaker 1: sent me something?
- 28:30Speaker 3: No?
- 28:31Speaker 2: You sent me this shit? Bitch? How I'm your list?
- 28:33Speaker 2: I'm talking about sugar. It's that the only thing on
- 28:37Speaker 2: your list that applies to me. It's sugar.
- 28:41Speaker 1: You didn't send me a request or something. Oh bitch,
- 28:44Speaker 1: I ain't sending you nothing. How did that happen? Because
- 28:47Speaker 1: something popped up on my screen at the top, and
- 28:49Speaker 1: then I hit the button, thinking you were sending me
- 28:51Speaker 1: something anyway.
- 28:52Speaker 2: Yeah, sugar, you told me, you told me I needed
- 28:55Speaker 2: to dodo and then this list came this morning.
- 28:59Speaker 1: What yep, my phone is I had to put this apple. No,
- 29:05Speaker 1: for real, listen, I didn't do that. That's weird. I
- 29:11Speaker 1: didn't do that anyway. Yeah, sugar, okay, I really be
- 29:17Speaker 1: consciously trying not to consume. As my shirt.
- 29:20Speaker 2: I love chocolate, me too.
- 29:22Speaker 1: I love ice cream on a like, who the fuck
- 29:26Speaker 1: really be having waffle cones in their house?
- 29:30Speaker 3: You.
- 29:32Speaker 2: I didn't start loving sugar until I got older, too,
- 29:36Speaker 2: which is crazy to me. As a kid, I did
- 29:39Speaker 2: not fuck with sugar like that when we would when
- 29:42Speaker 2: we would be at the like kids' birthday parties back then,
- 29:44Speaker 2: it'd be like a Hamburger hot dog, little hugs in
- 29:48Speaker 2: a cave with the hardy food. Yeah, give me another
- 29:51Speaker 2: hot dog. I don't want no cake. I want another
- 29:55Speaker 2: hot dog.
- 30:00Speaker 1: Well, what's I got? Growled all of a sudden. I
- 30:02Speaker 1: love sugar so much. I think it could be inherited too,
- 30:06Speaker 1: because my daddy is like that. My daddy loved like
- 30:09Speaker 1: baked goods and shit like that, like, and that's how
- 30:13Speaker 1: I am.
- 30:13Speaker 3: Like.
- 30:13Speaker 1: I don't like packaged sugar, though, I like like for
- 30:16Speaker 1: real fresh baked goods. Bitch, like a good muffin from
- 30:19Speaker 1: a bakery, good breads from a bakery. Food addiction, Okay,
- 30:24Speaker 1: not just sugar. I got a food addiction too, let's
- 30:27Speaker 1: just be honest.
- 30:28Speaker 2: I guess yeah, me too. I like good hej used
- 30:31Speaker 2: to come over my house with these little football I
- 30:36Speaker 2: that's a Asian market, and I wish I could as shit.
- 30:39Speaker 2: I ain't never seen this pastry a day in my life.
- 30:42Speaker 1: Next time you and Charlotte, you need to get me
- 30:44Speaker 1: something mail I get.
- 30:47Speaker 2: I'm going to that tomorrow, so I'll go get your football.
- 30:50Speaker 1: Because I miss those pastries. Man. But they so far,
- 30:53Speaker 1: even when I'm in Charlotte, I never make it to
- 30:55Speaker 1: that grocery store. I am describing forty five minutes to
- 30:58Speaker 1: get to them to get them football.
- 31:02Speaker 2: That's crazy, that's next level.
- 31:04Speaker 1: I will drive like so. I do have a food addiction, right,
- 31:07Speaker 1: but it's for good food. I can't just eat anything.
- 31:11Speaker 1: I'm very particular about what I put in my body.
- 31:15Speaker 1: What I eat, it gotta be like some real good
- 31:17Speaker 1: shit I don't want to eat. Otherwise, I will travel
- 31:20Speaker 1: to multiple places because I know exactly where I what
- 31:24Speaker 1: I want and where I need it from. I will
- 31:26Speaker 1: drive to a bunch of different grocery stores to get
- 31:29Speaker 1: the exact things.
- 31:31Speaker 2: Meanwhile, I tried, just because you know, marketing has been
- 31:35Speaker 2: good lately for McDonald's that fileal fish. Everybody act like
- 31:39Speaker 2: it's so good. I wouldn't try it. It's not. It's
- 31:42Speaker 2: not given. What is it is that?
- 31:43Speaker 1: Even? What is that cod?
- 31:45Speaker 2: I don't know. I tried it twice just because I
- 31:47Speaker 2: was like, maybe it was bad the first time. No,
- 31:49Speaker 2: it's still not given.
- 31:50Speaker 1: Why don't you just make your own? I had a
- 31:52Speaker 1: fish sandwich last night, Like I buy like the frozen
- 31:55Speaker 1: cord filets piled out with tomatoes. I make my own
- 32:00Speaker 1: my own. Yeah, I'm sure better. Everybody put it on
- 32:05Speaker 1: a Hawaiian bun. Bitch the Kings Hawaiian bun.
- 32:12Speaker 2: Slide right quick. Social media addiction is next level.
- 32:21Speaker 1: Yeah, we had that digital detox episode and I still
- 32:25Speaker 1: have yet to be able to just straight disconnect on
- 32:28Speaker 1: social media.
- 32:29Speaker 2: Yeah, I'll find myself watching them. Do y'all watch those
- 32:32Speaker 2: rug cleaning videos?
- 32:33Speaker 1: No?
- 32:34Speaker 2: What I've been watching like the dirty ass rugs? Like
- 32:38Speaker 2: how did the rug get that dirty? You know? Like
- 32:40Speaker 2: it'd be like covered in mud and the shampoot. I'll
- 32:45Speaker 2: be in the rabbit hole hours pimple popping videos.
- 32:55Speaker 1: Yes, I love that. Yeah, me too?
- 32:57Speaker 2: What is it about that? Why do we want to
- 32:59Speaker 2: just see a us it burst?
- 33:01Speaker 1: I mean even when they're doing the bikini area, I'm
- 33:03Speaker 1: watching that on YouTube. I want to see. Yeah, I
- 33:06Speaker 1: want to see. And I like when like a lot
- 33:08Speaker 1: of stuff come out like youtobe. Why I'm so fisty
- 33:11Speaker 1: like that? Why is it? Yeah?
- 33:13Speaker 2: That makes me happy? I don't know that's the just
- 33:15Speaker 2: but and I like.
- 33:19Speaker 1: I like the bus bumps too, me too.
- 33:22Speaker 2: If like that's how you know I like you? If
- 33:24Speaker 2: I start popping pimples on your face? Oh we locked
- 33:27Speaker 2: in you mom in egrown hairs, I'm all about it.
- 33:33Speaker 1: So y'all, I might have a slight gambling addiction, So
- 33:37Speaker 1: I mean one can one may say, like even trading
- 33:41Speaker 1: options is like a form of an addiction because it
- 33:43Speaker 1: is essentially gambling, you.
- 33:45Speaker 2: Know what I'm saying.
- 33:47Speaker 1: But a bitch like me can go to chuck e
- 33:49Speaker 1: Cheese and run.
- 33:50Speaker 2: Out Chucky Cheese, Chucky.
- 33:55Speaker 1: Daven. You can't have a Chucky Trees. That is stupid.
- 34:03Speaker 1: And you know you ain't getting like the most tickets
- 34:05Speaker 1: for these things. But I'm like, I don't know. It's
- 34:10Speaker 1: not gambling, bitch.
- 34:10Speaker 2: I thought she was about to say, like sportsmen, and
- 34:12Speaker 2: its been said, check E Cheese.
- 34:14Speaker 1: That is gambling. Like going to the fair and playing
- 34:18Speaker 1: all those games and all that shit like that is gambling.
- 34:21Speaker 1: Like it does feed something in you that that needs
- 34:27Speaker 1: to win, Like I'm addicted to winning.
- 34:32Speaker 2: Maybe say I'm addicted to winning, not gambling, because Checkie Cheese,
- 34:35Speaker 2: you and your tokens, you're gonna get what you're gonna get.
- 34:37Speaker 2: A little basketball. I want a basketball face.
- 34:41Speaker 1: But I can't stop though, you know what I'm saying.
- 34:44Speaker 1: Once I get in. I haven't been in a I
- 34:47Speaker 1: don't go places that I have an addiction to, so
- 34:50Speaker 1: I haven't been in a long time. But if I like, okay, no,
- 34:54Speaker 1: I have been to Frankies this year. I have been
- 34:56Speaker 1: to Frankies this year. And it's like a challenge to
- 34:58Speaker 1: not play the game. It's a challenge.
- 35:02Speaker 2: I swear to God, che we gonna have an intervention.
- 35:11Speaker 1: I gamblers.
- 35:13Speaker 2: I'm in there eating a whole piece of that good as.
- 35:18Speaker 1: It used to be good or when we just little
- 35:20Speaker 1: we just didn't know if it was good or not.
- 35:22Speaker 1: I think it's still good. I haven't been in a while,
- 35:25Speaker 1: but I.
- 35:27Speaker 2: Believe it's good.
- 35:29Speaker 1: So what's some other things you're addicted to?
- 35:33Speaker 2: I think we hit all my weed, social media, food
- 35:39Speaker 2: and love. Oh I'm also addicted to beauty products me too.
- 35:46Speaker 2: Oh yes, man, I will buy it if you can. Like,
- 35:53Speaker 2: all you gotta do is make a video about some
- 35:56Speaker 2: ship and I'm gonna go buy it.
- 35:58Speaker 1: TikTok shop not I'm not addicket to that, but I
- 36:01Speaker 1: think a lot of people are addicted to TikTok shop.
- 36:04Speaker 2: It's so easy. One button's on the way. I just
- 36:08Speaker 2: ordered some lavender oil because the girl was like, oh
- 36:10Speaker 2: my skin is so beautiful from using lavender oil.
- 36:13Speaker 1: I was like, stay, no mortgage, and I bought it,
- 36:16Speaker 1: Like I just for sure.
- 36:21Speaker 2: It's hard for me to throw them away. It's a
- 36:24Speaker 2: bad addiction. Bad Like I used to work at Saphoria
- 36:27Speaker 2: and we would get gradest shout out to all the
- 36:29Speaker 2: Sephoria girlies. And I still got gradest. What is in
- 36:33Speaker 2: my house? I need to throw that shit out. It's
- 36:35Speaker 2: like where they give you free products, okay to you
- 36:39Speaker 2: so you get a big bag of free products. You
- 36:41Speaker 2: know that probably good stuff. Oh yeah, that shit is
- 36:45Speaker 2: no good, But I still got it just in case
- 36:48Speaker 2: there isn't apocalypse that we run down the beauty supplies,
- 36:50Speaker 2: I will be still beautiful.
- 36:54Speaker 1: I have like bens of products. I shadow palate.
- 37:00Speaker 2: There's no reason I got this many ice shadow pals,
- 37:03Speaker 2: and bitch be using the same palate, use the same one,
- 37:06Speaker 2: use the same Jubus place palette every time. But meanwhile,
- 37:10Speaker 2: I got thirty thousand ice shallow palettes. So beauty products, skincare, makeup,
- 37:17Speaker 2: I still got old ass Mac look gloss. That shit
- 37:19Speaker 2: probably mean too.
- 37:20Speaker 1: Remember they used to take back the containers back to Mac.
- 37:24Speaker 1: They don't do that anymore. But I have, like, yes,
- 37:27Speaker 1: I have a bunch of containers that I the whole way.
- 37:33Speaker 1: I just won't throw away.
- 37:36Speaker 2: Oh I also hoard bundles me too. I'm not throwing
- 37:40Speaker 2: out my hair.
- 37:40Speaker 1: I just see the posts like, uh, do y'all be
- 37:43Speaker 1: having bags and weave.
- 37:44Speaker 2: Absolutely every Yeah.
- 37:47Speaker 1: Yes, And I can bring hair back to life, so
- 37:50Speaker 1: it could be some five ten year old hair. I
- 37:52Speaker 1: can make that ship look brand brand. I'm definitely holding mine.
- 37:55Speaker 2: Need to start a service right back to new and
- 38:01Speaker 2: just be refurbishing. Bitch is bundled.
- 38:04Speaker 1: Yeah, like I do hoard weave for years.
- 38:07Speaker 2: Yeah, me too.
- 38:08Speaker 1: Is that an addiction though?
- 38:11Speaker 2: Good? Yeah, I don't know if you addicted the weave.
- 38:17Speaker 2: You addicted the weave, huh? How you addicted the wigs?
- 38:22Speaker 1: No, I'm not. I just don't feel like doing sowings
- 38:24Speaker 1: no more. What's the difference? Yeah, but you don't switch
- 38:27Speaker 1: it up. Oh Ill. Even when I had sewns like,
- 38:30Speaker 1: I would have the same style. It wasn't like I've
- 38:33Speaker 1: never been that versatile.
- 38:34Speaker 2: But I remember, like maybe five or six years ago,
- 38:38Speaker 2: you had braids. That's the last time I seen you.
- 38:40Speaker 1: And I've only had braids like three times in life,
- 38:43Speaker 1: three or four times in life. Like No, I know
- 38:46Speaker 1: when I was younger, like middle school, high school, I
- 38:48Speaker 1: would get braids, But as an adult, I've only had
- 38:51Speaker 1: like braids like three four times. So braids just isn't
- 38:55Speaker 1: my thing. But I don't think I'm addicted to weaves
- 38:58Speaker 1: and wigs anymore. Any of the black women the fuck
- 39:03Speaker 1: we all did exactly exactly. I've been wearing lashes too. Then,
- 39:12Speaker 1: since our freshman year in college, I've been wearing lashes
- 39:16Speaker 1: before everybody else. Like I said earlier, it's two different
- 39:23Speaker 1: types of addiction. You got behavioral addictions and then like
- 39:26Speaker 1: physical addictions. Physical would be like your drugs. You're you're
- 39:33Speaker 1: the weed you're addicted to and the shrooms that I
- 39:35Speaker 1: like to take. The thing is I I remember I
- 39:39Speaker 1: was addicted to Viking for two weeks, and once the
- 39:43Speaker 1: prescription ran out, I don't know, I no longer needed it.
- 39:46Speaker 1: So is that that's not really an addiction. I enjoyed
- 39:48Speaker 1: it while I hadn't. It's nothing for me to like
- 39:51Speaker 1: get off of some shit. So I don't really have
- 39:53Speaker 1: an addictive personality per se mm hmm, because if I
- 39:59Speaker 1: don't have access to it, it is just okay, it's over.
- 40:01Speaker 1: I'm not about to go sell some pussy for some
- 40:04Speaker 1: pain medicine. I just enjoy it while I got it,
- 40:08Speaker 1: and I know that it's going to come.
- 40:09Speaker 2: To an end. What will you sell pussy for money?
- 40:13Speaker 1: That's another addiction, depend depending on how much. So this
- 40:23Speaker 1: this is a new choice and treatment center. This is
- 40:26Speaker 1: anybody who actually has, like a a real addiction, get help.
- 40:32Speaker 1: The addiction can either be physical or behavioral, and often
- 40:35Speaker 1: they go hand in hand. Though alcohol and tobacco are
- 40:38Speaker 1: commonly recognized types of addiction. There are actually hundreds of
- 40:42Speaker 1: types of medically and scientifically recognized addictions. Cravings, compulsions and
- 40:49Speaker 1: ability to stop, and lifestyle lifestyle dysfunction all point to
- 40:53Speaker 1: the existence of some type of addiction. Social media is
- 40:57Speaker 1: definitely one of my biggest addictions right now. I gotta
- 41:01Speaker 1: get the fuck because it's not like we be on
- 41:03Speaker 1: their doing. We talk backshit so much that I have
- 41:07Speaker 1: to be on their most of the time I'm on
- 41:09Speaker 1: social media. I'm not posting shit. I'm just strolling me
- 41:14Speaker 1: to scrolling, scrolling, scrolling, scrolling for hours. I even have
- 41:18Speaker 1: a two hour limit set and I will hit the
- 41:22Speaker 1: thing to stop it, to stop the lock of the app.
- 41:29Speaker 1: There's another app that will delete the apps and then
- 41:31Speaker 1: bring them back when your new time comes in. But
- 41:36Speaker 1: that is just too extreme.
- 41:39Speaker 2: Yeah, that's the next level.
- 41:41Speaker 1: It says the person can be addicted to behaviors just
- 41:43Speaker 1: as seriously as one can be addicted to substance such
- 41:46Speaker 1: as alcohol or hard drugs. The addiction behaviors that result
- 41:50Speaker 1: from both types of addiction can have serious negative consequences.
- 41:53Speaker 1: Though from all that, from all that comes with a
- 41:58Speaker 1: substance use disorder, to the perils of a gambling addiction,
- 42:02Speaker 1: or even compulsive shopping and sexual behavior to an unhealthy degree.
- 42:11Speaker 1: Addiction is a complex disease. The type of addiction this
- 42:16Speaker 1: excuse me, The type of addiction doesn't really matter as
- 42:19Speaker 1: much as the underlying issue causing the patient to chase,
- 42:22Speaker 1: chase this pleasurable feeling while incuring adverse consequences. I think,
- 42:29Speaker 1: like crack, for instance, that shit was magic. It was
- 42:33Speaker 1: created to make you addicted. So are you really addicted
- 42:38Speaker 1: to it? And when this thing is altering your mind
- 42:42Speaker 1: your body so much to where you can't do without it?
- 42:45Speaker 2: Right? But I would have loved to know what the
- 42:53Speaker 2: first crack, how I felt.
- 42:54Speaker 1: Like you can still find out.
- 42:57Speaker 2: I don't want to shut up because I don't want
- 43:00Speaker 2: because I see what it does. But imagine something that
- 43:03Speaker 2: feels that good that you running behind it, like risk,
- 43:07Speaker 2: Like that's.
- 43:08Speaker 1: What I didn't really feel that good? Or just the
- 43:11Speaker 1: chemical compound of this thing physically changed your DNA. Do
- 43:18Speaker 1: you see what I'm saying.
- 43:19Speaker 2: Yeah, that's what I'm saying.
- 43:21Speaker 1: That's why addiction like the way they the way they
- 43:24Speaker 1: describe or the definition for addiction. But if something like
- 43:29Speaker 1: was intentionally created to make you addicted to it, it's
- 43:36Speaker 1: just different, you see what I'm saying, Like, I feel
- 43:38Speaker 1: like we like Instagram, was created for you to be
- 43:41Speaker 1: addicted to it.
- 43:42Speaker 2: Mm hmm.
- 43:44Speaker 1: The stuff that they put in some of the foods
- 43:47Speaker 1: like McDonald's, they put things in there to make you
- 43:50Speaker 1: addicted to it. If that thing wasn't in there, would
- 43:55Speaker 1: you actually be addicted to it? So are they creating addiction?
- 43:59Speaker 1: Is what I'm saying. Oh?
- 44:00Speaker 2: Absolutely, What are they put in that McDonald's sprite Because
- 44:06Speaker 2: they're putting something it's different than the regular spry, right,
- 44:10Speaker 2: that's just I.
- 44:11Speaker 1: Haven't had McDonald's in a very long time. Nothing from there.
- 44:14Speaker 1: Even the ice creams started to taste like dishwashing detergent
- 44:17Speaker 1: to me. So I don't even get that shit. And
- 44:20Speaker 1: half the time the machine be broke anyway because they
- 44:23Speaker 1: don't want to clean it and should be full of mold.
- 44:26Speaker 1: And if you look up under them ice machines mold.
- 44:33Speaker 1: So your physical addictions are the ones that are generally
- 44:36Speaker 1: better known. These are addictions to substances that are ingested
- 44:40Speaker 1: or otherwise put into a person's body. See otherwise put
- 44:43Speaker 1: into a person's body. So I feel like it, especially
- 44:50Speaker 1: in America, they are creating addiction. It's not that you're
- 44:53Speaker 1: just addicted to this thing. It was intentional for you
- 44:58Speaker 1: to be addicted.
- 45:00Speaker 2: Social media.
- 45:03Speaker 1: So some common physical addictions include alcohol, tobacco, opioids, prescription drugs, cocaine, marijuana, amphetamines,
- 45:11Speaker 1: hallucinogens Inhaling's and PC What the fuck is the whoopies?
- 45:16Speaker 2: Whoopies whoopies? Unlike the Pink Star be lying. But it's like,
- 45:23Speaker 2: you know, like a canna, oxygen cream, wood cream and
- 45:27Speaker 2: the O two or whatever it is that comes out
- 45:30Speaker 2: of the can inhaling that shit.
- 45:34Speaker 1: Yeah, people, nuts, How did you even know that got
- 45:37Speaker 1: you high?
- 45:38Speaker 2: Though? That's what I'm saying. But you can buy it
- 45:41Speaker 2: now where it's just like the can with the air
- 45:44Speaker 2: in it and the kids are doing it.
- 45:47Speaker 1: What's the dude? You all Santana was doing it in
- 45:49Speaker 1: the middle of an interview, like.
- 45:54Speaker 2: Wow, how it's interesting.
- 45:57Speaker 1: Physical addictions can generally be grouped into three categories, alcohol,
- 46:01Speaker 1: ulicit drugs, and prescription drugs. Alcohol addiction is arguably among
- 46:05Speaker 1: the most common. It manifests in form of alcohol dependency,
- 46:09Speaker 1: binge drinking, or regular heavy drinking. So most addictions are
- 46:13Speaker 1: masking other problems, mental health, shit, trauma. Self is yourself
- 46:19Speaker 1: medicating essentially. Yeah, so our little addictions at that serious.
- 46:26Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, like, I mean, they can't become serious.
- 46:30Speaker 2: If we allow shrooms every Friday, could be shreams every morning.
- 46:33Speaker 1: I don't really do it every Friday though, because I
- 46:35Speaker 1: haven't done it in the last month, but I like
- 46:38Speaker 1: it on Fridays. It may not be an.
- 46:39Speaker 2: Addiction, but our sugar addiction could really be turned into
- 46:43Speaker 2: something bad for us diabetes, health issues and all that stuff.
- 46:47Speaker 2: Food addiction is definitely the number one killer in America
- 46:50Speaker 2: is food, you know. Hm, So, I mean that's pretty serious.
- 46:55Speaker 2: But when it comes to have you ever, do you
- 46:57Speaker 2: know somebody who has to get up and drink first
- 47:00Speaker 2: thing in the morning when they wake up.
- 47:01Speaker 1: Yes, I do.
- 47:02Speaker 2: It's the saddest thing to see the witness you know,
- 47:06Speaker 2: someone who just addicted to like alcohol.
- 47:11Speaker 1: And it's so weird that alcoholics they get drunk so
- 47:14Speaker 1: quick because their body never really rid of the alcohol,
- 47:18Speaker 1: So one low drop of alcohol they re drunk all
- 47:21Speaker 1: over again. So early in the morning, could do one drink,
- 47:25Speaker 1: but you never, like your body never got ready to
- 47:28Speaker 1: alcohol from yesterday. And I always think.
- 47:32Speaker 2: Because you smell it coming out of their body, out
- 47:34Speaker 2: the pores. Yes, it's so bad, I know.
- 47:38Speaker 1: Like, and people say alcoholism is thereditary as well, like
- 47:41Speaker 1: I think it is in my family.
- 47:43Speaker 2: Yeah, mine too, most families. Shit, but that's just never
- 47:47Speaker 2: been my I'm grateful because I know I could have
- 47:52Speaker 2: very well easily been an alcoholics, just because how many
- 47:55Speaker 2: I know in my family. But I'm never like, liquors
- 47:58Speaker 2: sit in my house, whatever, just be sitting there. I
- 48:00Speaker 2: don't care.
- 48:01Speaker 1: Now's a week. You've never been the type of like,
- 48:08Speaker 1: I gotta I'll have a bottle and it's gonna be
- 48:10Speaker 1: there for a long time. There'll be a lot of
- 48:12Speaker 1: time to even drink wine at home. I'm really a
- 48:16Speaker 1: real life social drinker. And even now I don't be
- 48:20Speaker 1: wanting to drink.
- 48:21Speaker 2: Because if I just how you feel the next day
- 48:24Speaker 2: and the day after that is just awful because I'll
- 48:27Speaker 2: never really drink. If I'm drinking, I'm trying to get drunk.
- 48:30Speaker 2: I don't drink like, oh, I just want to say, no,
- 48:32Speaker 2: what's the point nothing?
- 48:35Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 48:35Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 48:37Speaker 1: So, behavioral addictions is classified as any time that one
- 48:42Speaker 1: loses control of their actions in order to engage in
- 48:45Speaker 1: behaviors that result in brief feelings of happiness. That person
- 48:48Speaker 1: becomes dependent on the pleasurable feelings that come as a
- 48:52Speaker 1: result of certain behaviors and begin to compulsively act on
- 48:56Speaker 1: that behavior. And so this is some of the common
- 48:58Speaker 1: behavioral addictions. Food addiction, I got that one, sex addiction,
- 49:05Speaker 1: internet addiction, pornography addiction using computers and or cell phones.
- 49:12Speaker 1: Do you watch porn? I used to not ass not
- 49:14Speaker 1: as much as I was, And I don't even I
- 49:17Speaker 1: wouldn't even say it was. It was still wasn't every day,
- 49:20Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying. At least once a week
- 49:21Speaker 1: I would be watching porn. But I don't even know. Yeah,
- 49:25Speaker 1: I don't. It's just it's nasty.
- 49:27Speaker 2: I probably could count on my hands how many times
- 49:29Speaker 2: I've watched porn in my life.
- 49:30Speaker 1: Really yeah, oh well, and it wasn't even a porn.
- 49:37Speaker 1: It's like I probably was masturbating.
- 49:40Speaker 2: It's just I don't know. I can't get into it.
- 49:42Speaker 1: I need a plot. It gotta be like a movie
- 49:45Speaker 1: or something. Many haven't like that type of porn, Like
- 49:47Speaker 1: you want to see a bitch meeting nigga at the
- 49:49Speaker 1: grocery store. I have like a whole little storyline. I
- 49:53Speaker 1: don't even know why these people are having said instead
- 49:59Speaker 1: of a nasty horn music in that, it just start fucking.
- 50:02Speaker 2: No, it needs to be romantic or something. I don't know,
- 50:08Speaker 2: because this is just dirty. Why are y'all having sex? Right?
- 50:12Speaker 2: You don't even know him.
- 50:17Speaker 1: She do know him from another set like they probably
- 50:20Speaker 1: sashed before.
- 50:21Speaker 2: No, see, I need I need a backstory. I need
- 50:23Speaker 2: to know are y'all in love?
- 50:26Speaker 3: Girl? Right?
- 50:28Speaker 1: Video game addiction work addiction. I'm never going to have
- 50:33Speaker 1: that addiction. I wish I had it, though, Shit, I
- 50:37Speaker 1: wish I had this addiction to exercise addiction. Oh yeah,
- 50:42Speaker 1: but occasionally I won't get into that. I need to
- 50:46Speaker 1: get there right the fuck now. Like yesterday, I.
- 50:49Speaker 2: Can't wait to get back on my feet so I
- 50:51Speaker 2: can go back to spend class.
- 50:52Speaker 1: I really was enjoying spiritual obsession, not to be confused
- 50:59Speaker 1: with religious devotion. I don't that one is weird to me.
- 51:04Speaker 1: Why would spiritual be an addiction, but religious devotion isn't
- 51:10Speaker 1: isn't It's literally the same thing. So I feel like
- 51:14Speaker 1: they making a spiritual thing like negative, right, that's weird uh,
- 51:24Speaker 1: seeking pain. I guess those like people who do like
- 51:26Speaker 1: cutting andy be cutting themselves.
- 51:29Speaker 2: Yeah, that's that's wow. Oh cutting is.
- 51:33Speaker 1: The next thing. Yeah, so seeking pain and then cutting.
- 51:39Speaker 1: Shopping addiction exercise.
- 51:42Speaker 2: Oh I got that one. Shopping addiction A bitual in
- 51:46Speaker 2: a shop. I love Amazon, dude, but I.
- 51:50Speaker 1: Don't always buy something like I like looking like I'm
- 51:54Speaker 1: a buy. Yeah, I'm a hurry up and buy. No problem, baby,
- 51:58Speaker 1: because I'm about to. I don't really have a shopping addiction.
- 52:04Speaker 1: I do like it feels good to buy stuff, though.
- 52:07Speaker 1: For sure. I like spending money. I love spending money.
- 52:13Speaker 1: Oh if it's somebody else mon, Oh, such a high.
- 52:21Speaker 1: All right. So it says if you have an impulsive
- 52:25Speaker 1: control disorder, you are especially susceptible to compulsive behavior that
- 52:31Speaker 1: could lead to a severe addiction. Similarly, mental health issues
- 52:35Speaker 1: or mental disorders can exacerbate the risk of both a
- 52:39Speaker 1: substance use disorder and behavioral addiction. Physical and behavioral addictions
- 52:44Speaker 1: are often linked. Over half of those suffering from addiction
- 52:49Speaker 1: to one substance are also using other substances. Additionally, those
- 52:53Speaker 1: battling substance abuse disorders often suffer from behavioral addiction. As well.
- 52:58Speaker 1: So a lot of this stuff go hand in hand.
- 53:03Speaker 1: I just would like to say, if anybody out there
- 53:05Speaker 1: is listening to the show and you guys, are you
- 53:07Speaker 1: think you might have an addiction of some sort, see
- 53:10Speaker 1: help today. There's a lot of different resources out there.
- 53:14Speaker 1: I might. One of my homegirls she is about to
- 53:17Speaker 1: open up she's a psychologist, so she's about to open
- 53:22Speaker 1: up a clinic, and she after Scissa recently not Siss
- 53:26Speaker 1: Jesus christ. Ari Lennox recently was on social media saying
- 53:31Speaker 1: how she is slowly weaning herself off of social media
- 53:35Speaker 1: because it is an addiction, right, So to say I'm
- 53:38Speaker 1: not going to get on at all, it's kind of
- 53:41Speaker 1: unreasonable a lot of times, like you just kind of
- 53:43Speaker 1: mean yourself off like a drug. But my homegirls, like, damn,
- 53:47Speaker 1: I need to offer that as a service.
- 53:50Speaker 2: What helping people remove themselves from social media? Yeah, yep,
- 53:56Speaker 2: I don't want to go So there's that.
- 53:58Speaker 1: You say, you don't want to.
- 53:59Speaker 2: Go noh, like completely from social media?
- 54:03Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 54:03Speaker 2: Their benefits. Yeah, yeah, I don't want to completely be gone,
- 54:09Speaker 2: but I don't want to be on there as much
- 54:11Speaker 2: as I am unless it's productive, right, Yeah, And there
- 54:15Speaker 2: is a There is a hot line that you, guys,
- 54:18Speaker 2: if you feel like you have an addiction to something
- 54:20Speaker 2: and you need some help, there is a hot line
- 54:22Speaker 2: you can call and you can down nine eight eight
- 54:25Speaker 2: and you will be connected to someone who can assist
- 54:28Speaker 2: you with some support, you know.
- 54:30Speaker 1: Twenty four hours today. You can also text nine to
- 54:32Speaker 1: eighty eight and chat with someone. Mm hmm, yeah, chat
- 54:38Speaker 1: because it's serious, especially when you're fentanyl that's out here.
- 54:43Speaker 1: Like Koch used to be okay, but now you don't
- 54:46Speaker 1: know what you're getting. Not saying that you're ever okay
- 54:48Speaker 1: for real, right, But people weren't dying like they are
- 54:53Speaker 1: now because it's not pure anymore. It's being mixed with
- 54:58Speaker 1: other things. Even on a weed child, you gotta be careful.
- 55:02Speaker 1: You gotta know your source. Right.
- 55:04Speaker 2: So I just recently got one hundred cases of narkn
- 55:09Speaker 2: to pass out. I'm going to like go out in
- 55:12Speaker 2: Charlotte once I can walk. You know, I don't want
- 55:14Speaker 2: to do it right now because it's just physically not capable.
- 55:18Speaker 2: But before the like maybe around Thanksgiving, I'm definitely gonna
- 55:23Speaker 2: get outside and set up a table. There. There's a
- 55:26Speaker 2: place in downtown Charlotte where they set up tables for
- 55:29Speaker 2: food for the homeless and pass out food. And I
- 55:32Speaker 2: guess I might set up a table out there and
- 55:34Speaker 2: pass out this nar can maybe do fifty here and
- 55:38Speaker 2: fifty in Charlotte. It's not that much, but I mean,
- 55:42Speaker 2: that's one hundred potential lives that could be saved just
- 55:46Speaker 2: by a little narkyn Because how many people do you know?
- 55:50Speaker 2: They have died A lot, a lot.
- 55:53Speaker 1: If they didn't die, they got hospitalized, like, yeah, a lot.
- 55:57Speaker 1: So when it started hitting home, that's when you know
- 55:59Speaker 1: it's a problem because you know some things like you
- 56:01Speaker 1: know of someone you know, these are family members I've
- 56:05Speaker 1: had die in the last year.
- 56:06Speaker 2: Me too, me too, friends, family members real close to home.
- 56:11Speaker 2: And then when I when I try to like ask people, hey,
- 56:13Speaker 2: you want to take some Narkian with you, they get
- 56:16Speaker 2: offended and I'm like, I don't do no drugs. I'm like, well,
- 56:19Speaker 2: it don't have to be for you. It could be
- 56:21Speaker 2: for somebody that you know. It could be if you're
- 56:24Speaker 2: somewhere and some what just happens to drop, you know
- 56:27Speaker 2: you can and then if they inhale this narcian, even
- 56:31Speaker 2: if they didn't do drugs, it won't harm them, you know,
- 56:34Speaker 2: it won't do anything to them. So it's just good
- 56:37Speaker 2: to have just to have one on hand somewhere around you,
- 56:41Speaker 2: your your your neighbor, could be like an older elderly
- 56:44Speaker 2: person who has because fanol isn't drugs.
- 56:47Speaker 1: Is a drug, it's a prescription drug. Yeah yeah, but
- 56:50Speaker 1: I'm saying I have synthetic stuff out here as well.
- 56:55Speaker 2: Yeah, so it could be a part of someone's prescription
- 56:58Speaker 2: and they might take for god that they already medicated
- 57:01Speaker 2: and take it again and I can't can help with that.
- 57:04Speaker 2: You know, it doesn't have to necessarily be something that's recreational.
- 57:08Speaker 2: So I just you know, encourage everyone to have something
- 57:12Speaker 2: in their emergency kid in their home. Yeah I don't
- 57:14Speaker 2: have at this point. Well, I can't send you some.
- 57:18Speaker 1: It's unfortunate, man, it's unfortunate.
- 57:22Speaker 2: Hopefully not me sending you nark and your football biscuits
- 57:27Speaker 2: at the same time.
- 57:30Speaker 1: Like this is cokeon this, uh on, that's what it's
