- 0:00Speaker 1: Welcome to the program.
- 0:01Speaker 2: No victocrats allowed because we've got a country to save.
- 0:04Speaker 2: So let's get her teed up.
- 0:05Speaker 3: Do you want to play rock? Say hello to my
- 0:08Speaker 3: new friend. What the hell's going on out here? That's
- 0:16Speaker 3: a bingo. You can't succeed without me. Give him all
- 0:18Speaker 3: the abuse that you otherwise would direct towards me.
- 0:20Speaker 2: He deserves it.
- 0:24Speaker 3: All right, welcome to the Larry Elder Show. My name
- 0:28Speaker 3: is Carl Jackson, sitting in for the great Elderski. The
- 0:30Speaker 3: number to call into the program, 888-971-SAGE, 888-971-SAGE. Honored to
- 0:40Speaker 3: be in, to be sitting in for Larry Elder. Always
- 0:43Speaker 3: fun to do so. I've got so much that I
- 0:45Speaker 3: want to get to. It's absolutely insane. Plus, it is
- 0:47Speaker 3: a Friday, so in the third hour in particular, you're
- 0:51Speaker 3: free to call any hour, frankly, but in the third hour,
- 0:55Speaker 3: I especially want to hear from you because I do
- 0:57Speaker 3: want to talk about some of the cultural issues. I
- 0:59Speaker 3: want to talk about the Cornell 7. I want to
- 1:02Speaker 3: get your thoughts on that, what transpired as well with
- 1:05Speaker 3: this attempt at execution of Krista Pike. I got to
- 1:10Speaker 3: admit to you, I hadn't been paying much attention to
- 1:13Speaker 3: that story until recently. So I look forward to talking
- 1:19Speaker 3: to you about that. Again, the number to call into
- 1:21Speaker 3: the program, 888-971-SAGE, 888-971-SAGE. is the number to call into
- 1:29Speaker 3: the program. Okay, so there's so many things that I
- 1:30Speaker 3: want to get to. It's unbelievable. I almost don't know
- 1:36Speaker 3: where to start, but I think I want to start here.
- 1:38Speaker 3: I want to talk about affordability because obviously we're in
- 1:42Speaker 3: an election cycle and many people are going to be
- 1:45Speaker 3: voting based on their pocketbooks. But I'm going to ask
- 1:48Speaker 3: you to remember this cliche, which happens to be true
- 1:52Speaker 3: this time around, short-term pain, long-term gain. I've argued before.
- 1:58Speaker 3: You've heard me before. The economy isn't where you want
- 2:00Speaker 3: it to be. I totally get it. I do think
- 2:02Speaker 3: the measures are in place to make sure the economy
- 2:05Speaker 3: gets better. I know there were some job numbers that
- 2:07Speaker 3: weren't satisfactory today, but there are some job numbers that were,
- 2:11Speaker 3: and I haven't heard anybody report on those, and I'll
- 2:14Speaker 3: get to those momentarily. But first, let me do this.
- 2:16Speaker 3: For all of you that might be out there, maybe
- 2:18Speaker 3: you're sitting in the middle. Maybe you're not sure where
- 2:20Speaker 3: you want to go. You see the crazies on the left.
- 2:22Speaker 3: You see the El Saeeds.
- 2:25Speaker 4: Right.
- 2:25Speaker 3: You see the Hassan Pikers and all those people out there.
- 2:28Speaker 3: And you're just like, oh, I'm not sure. I don't
- 2:30Speaker 3: really I don't really like Trump.
- 2:31Speaker 1: Right.
- 2:32Speaker 3: But but but but I don't want to I don't
- 2:35Speaker 3: like these crazy radicals in the that are basically taken
- 2:39Speaker 3: over the the Democrat Party. So what everything should boil
- 2:43Speaker 3: down to, it should boil down to is policy. This
- 2:47Speaker 3: isn't the time to be overly emotional, even though I
- 2:49Speaker 3: know people get that way during an election cycle. But
- 2:53Speaker 3: you're talking about your survival, in my opinion. You're talking
- 2:56Speaker 3: about self-preservation. And that's a policy issue. So for those
- 3:01Speaker 3: of you that are saying, man, the gas prices are
- 3:02Speaker 3: too high. President Trump said he would bring the gas
- 3:05Speaker 3: prices too high. I would argue this, that for the
- 3:08Speaker 3: majority of President Trump's second term and obviously the first term,
- 3:13Speaker 3: but for his second term, Gas prices have he brought
- 3:16Speaker 3: gas prices well down below what Joe Biden had him
- 3:20Speaker 3: for his entire his entire presidency. And Biden did that
- 3:24Speaker 3: on purpose. I'll bring you the information in just a sec.
- 3:28Speaker 3: We do know that gas prices are high as a
- 3:30Speaker 3: result of the Iran conflict, which will be ending.
- 3:34Speaker 2: There's been a third round.
- 3:36Speaker 3: A third carrier that has been sent to the Middle East,
- 3:40Speaker 3: the USS Theodore Roosevelt, because President Trump doesn't intend to
- 3:46Speaker 3: leave your children, your grandchildren, with the problem with the
- 3:50Speaker 3: state-sponsored terrorists in Iran. We also see what happened on
- 4:00Speaker 3: that fly to buy flight. I know everybody's been talking
- 4:02Speaker 3: about it. I know Larry talked. Everybody's talked about it.
- 4:04Speaker 3: You talked about it's been big news. I'm going to
- 4:07Speaker 3: circle back around to that as well, because I just
- 4:10Speaker 3: think that's absolutely amazing. And I want to be able
- 4:12Speaker 3: to frame the argument. Who are our real enemies?
- 4:15Speaker 2: I would argue.
- 4:16Speaker 3: That the person to the left or right of you
- 4:19Speaker 3: isn't necessarily your enemy? Your neighbor isn't your enemy? Where
- 4:24Speaker 3: did all this divisiveness in the United States come from?
- 4:26Speaker 3: The left would argue it came from Trump. I'm going
- 4:28Speaker 3: to make a different argument. I think I'm going to
- 4:30Speaker 3: be able to prove you wrong. But the first thing
- 4:32Speaker 3: I want to prove to you is Democrats have no
- 4:34Speaker 3: intention of making your life more affordable. Hat tip Americans
- 4:38Speaker 3: for prosperity. Sometimes you just have to know the right
- 4:41Speaker 3: things to look up. You have to know The right
- 4:44Speaker 3: things to put in the AI machine or the super
- 4:47Speaker 3: intelligence machine or the Google machine. All right.
- 4:50Speaker 2: So here we go.
- 4:51Speaker 3: Just to prove to you, I want to make this
- 4:54Speaker 3: emphatically clear for all of you that are out there. Oh,
- 4:56Speaker 3: Trump promised gas prices would be lower. Guys, he brought
- 4:59Speaker 3: them lower. Remember, egg prices as well. Remember, we went
- 5:02Speaker 3: through all of that stuff. But, you know, you guys,
- 5:06Speaker 3: President Biden, remember, he almost and he virtually invited Putin
- 5:11Speaker 3: to invade Russia. As a result of that, you saw
- 5:14Speaker 3: gas prices, diesel prices at that time skyrocket. But and
- 5:18Speaker 3: then you saw Democrats do something. The Biden administration and
- 5:21Speaker 3: Democrats do something. And again, I want to prove to
- 5:23Speaker 3: you that they have no intentions in making life easier
- 5:27Speaker 3: or more affordable for you, especially given the fact that
- 5:30Speaker 3: you have DSA candidates running telling you just that.
- 5:33Speaker 2: They want socialism. That is not affordable.
- 5:35Speaker 3: But let's take you back to November of 2021. In
- 5:38Speaker 3: November of 2021, the EPA, under the Biden administration, announced
- 5:43Speaker 3: new regulations saying, governing methane emissions from oil and gas production, transmission,
- 5:49Speaker 3: storage and distribution that will cost more than one billion
- 5:53Speaker 3: a year.
- 5:53Speaker 2: That's just one thing. All right.
- 5:55Speaker 3: And then in the spring of 2021, Biden signed a
- 5:59Speaker 3: resolution that overturned. Trump administration reforms to the EPA oil
- 6:06Speaker 3: and gas rules, this resolution would worsen energy poverty, as
- 6:12Speaker 3: Americans for Prosperity wrote about at the time, reestablish burdensome
- 6:17Speaker 3: regulations as a result of that resolution that Biden signed,
- 6:21Speaker 3: and have a disproportionate impact on small businesses. So in
- 6:26Speaker 3: other words, The Biden administration and Democrats were intentionally going
- 6:33Speaker 3: after oil and gas prices to raise them because they
- 6:37Speaker 3: can't stand fossil fuels. Fossil fuels are the lifeblood on
- 6:42Speaker 3: this on this earth. Fossil fuels. There's a there's there's
- 6:45Speaker 3: a book. I forget the gentleman's name. I believe it's
- 6:48Speaker 3: Alex Epstein. Actually, I think I think that's correct. The
- 6:51Speaker 3: moral case for fossil fuels. And wherever fossil fuels are abundant.
- 6:58Speaker 3: better quality of life. Where it isn't, it isn't. Lifestyles
- 7:04Speaker 3: are bad. One of Biden's first actions, see if you
- 7:08Speaker 3: guys remember this, one of Biden's first actions after taking
- 7:10Speaker 3: office was to halt.
- 7:11Speaker 2: New oil and gas leases on federal lands. You guys
- 7:14Speaker 2: remember that?
- 7:15Speaker 3: On federal lands and waters, the Biden administration, one of
- 7:18Speaker 3: his first actions was to halt all federal, you know, drilling, again,
- 7:23Speaker 3: new oil and gas lease, I'm sorry, new oil and
- 7:25Speaker 3: gas leases on federal lands and waters. The Biden administration
- 7:30Speaker 3: and then delayed the decisions on the leases, letting these gas,
- 7:35Speaker 3: letting these oil companies just set still. A move that
- 7:39Speaker 3: necessarily resulted in higher energy costs for the most vulnerable consumers.
- 7:44Speaker 3: It was killing those people like me, frankly, that work
- 7:48Speaker 3: a blue collar, middle class job and business.
- 7:52Speaker 2: We're full of fuel prices.
- 7:53Speaker 3: We're just I mean, just so high was ridiculous and
- 7:57Speaker 3: they weren't going down. That was on top of the
- 8:00Speaker 3: COVID lockdowns and on top of the shipping, on top
- 8:04Speaker 3: of the shipping crisis that we were having as a
- 8:07Speaker 3: result of the ineptitude of the Biden administration. And also
- 8:10Speaker 3: to be fair, many countries were locking down during COVID.
- 8:15Speaker 3: Then the administration, you guys might remember this. You tell
- 8:19Speaker 3: me this, some, a party that that claims they want
- 8:23Speaker 3: to bring down oil and gas prices for you. Would
- 8:26Speaker 3: that be the same party? Would that be the same
- 8:29Speaker 3: party that canceled the Keystone XL pipeline? I think I've
- 8:33Speaker 3: told you guys before, as a result of that, I
- 8:36Speaker 3: have a family member. Once that was implemented, once that
- 8:41Speaker 3: pipeline was suspended, the leases were suspended, I had a
- 8:45Speaker 3: family member had a great job Working on or working
- 8:49Speaker 3: on a actually another pipeline that was associated or going
- 8:52Speaker 3: to be connected to that pipeline eventually just making great money,
- 8:57Speaker 3: money like they've never made before. And it just went
- 9:00Speaker 3: just like that the moment Biden suspended that. So, again,
- 9:04Speaker 3: the administration, the Biden administration canceled the Keystone XL pipeline,
- 9:08Speaker 3: suspended oil and gas leases in the Arctic National Wildlife
- 9:12Speaker 3: Refuge and in New Mexico as well. And this was
- 9:17Speaker 3: despite opposition from the Navajo Nation. So in New Mexico, obviously,
- 9:22Speaker 3: you have plenty of tribespeople still there. Opposition from the
- 9:27Speaker 3: Navajo Nation, it didn't matter because the left wants to
- 9:31Speaker 3: necessarily skyrocket the price of oil and gas. That's what
- 9:36Speaker 3: they want to do. They want to get you into
- 9:40Speaker 3: cities like New York City, where they can control where
- 9:43Speaker 3: you go. They can track everywhere you go, where there's
- 9:46Speaker 3: mass transportation. That's what the left wants, because they ultimately
- 9:51Speaker 3: want to be able to control you. If they can
- 9:53Speaker 3: keep you in these cities, they can control you. All right,
- 9:58Speaker 3: so it also resurrected the Waters of the United States rule,
- 10:02Speaker 3: which would increase barriers to energy projects.
- 10:05Speaker 2: Guys, I mean, there's so much stuff. It's unbelievable.
- 10:09Speaker 3: Biden pursued new standards for particulate matter and ozone, likely
- 10:16Speaker 3: tightening them to unachievable levels for much of the country
- 10:20Speaker 3: and creating new barriers for energy project permits. Biden also...
- 10:27Speaker 3: rescinded and endangered species act reforms a move that increased
- 10:32Speaker 3: red tape and allowed litigation to slow down energy projects
- 10:36Speaker 3: so when democrats say they want to bring down the
- 10:38Speaker 3: price of oil and gas they're lying.
- 10:42Speaker 5: Only on salem now featuring one of charlie kirk's final
- 10:45Speaker 5: interviews the new documentary can you hear me now investigates
- 10:49Speaker 5: modern prophets and their divine.
- 10:50Speaker 6: Messages some people absolutely have the gift of prophecy if
- 10:54Speaker 6: god exists how would he inject his information into our
- 10:57Speaker 6: world more than likely he would use humans satan would
- 10:59Speaker 6: love christians to just be a spectator not engage not participate.
- 11:04Speaker 3: Is there something he's trying to.

- 11:14Speaker 3: All right, welcome back to The Larry Elder Show. I
- 11:17Speaker 3: am your guest host, Carl Jackson, sitting in. Please follow
- 11:20Speaker 3: me on all things social media, X, Instagram, and Facebook
- 11:23Speaker 3: at Carl Jackson Show. At The Carl Jackson Show, I
- 11:26Speaker 3: would really appreciate if you'd consider signing up for my podcast,
- 11:31Speaker 3: The Carl Jackson Show. You can like, share, or subscribe,
- 11:34Speaker 3: I should say. to our YouTube channel, The Carl Jackson Show.
- 11:39Speaker 3: That is Carl, The Carl Jackson Show on YouTube. We
- 11:43Speaker 3: would certainly appreciate that. Again, like, share and subscribe. Another
- 11:46Speaker 3: thing that the Biden administration did that necessarily raised the
- 11:51Speaker 3: price of oil and gas in April of 2021, without
- 11:54Speaker 3: the consent of Congress, mind you, Biden rejoined the Paris Agreement,
- 11:59Speaker 3: which resulted in onerous new regulations that could raise energy costs. Now,
- 12:05Speaker 3: There's some good news coming out of the EU today
- 12:08Speaker 3: that I will get to momentarily. But basically, well, may
- 12:12Speaker 3: as well tell you now, they're basically going to be
- 12:13Speaker 3: releasing up to 100 million barrels of diesel crude. All right.
- 12:20Speaker 3: So that's going to help alleviate the pain when it
- 12:22Speaker 3: comes to diesel fuel at the pump. They're going to
- 12:27Speaker 3: be releasing that over the next four months. So this
- 12:31Speaker 3: isn't something where you're going to see an immediate drop overnight,
- 12:35Speaker 3: but that is going to happen. Recall in the spring,
- 12:37Speaker 3: they released about 400 million barrels of oil. when things
- 12:42Speaker 3: were getting tight with oil due to the Iran conflict.
- 12:46Speaker 3: But now everybody is hurting when it comes to diesel.
- 12:50Speaker 3: And so they're going to be releasing some diesel crude.
- 12:54Speaker 3: And this is the EU, again, 100 million barrels. of
- 12:58Speaker 3: diesel crude. So that's going to help alleviate some pain,
- 13:01Speaker 3: not tons, but it is going to help alleviate some.
- 13:04Speaker 3: And it's about time the EU did something for the safety, frankly,
- 13:09Speaker 3: that we give them. Also, another thing that the Biden
- 13:13Speaker 3: administration and Democrats did that raised the cost of gas
- 13:19Speaker 3: and oil. So for all of you that might be
- 13:21Speaker 3: in the middle and you're not sure, OK, do I
- 13:26Speaker 3: want to vote Republican? Do I want to vote for Democrats?
- 13:28Speaker 3: Let me tell you something. You may not be impressed
- 13:32Speaker 3: with Republicans. You may not like Trump. But do you
- 13:36Speaker 3: want to go back to this where these people will
- 13:38Speaker 3: sit here and lie to your face, claim they want
- 13:40Speaker 3: to bring down oil, gas and oil prices, claim they
- 13:44Speaker 3: care about affordability? But I'm listing policy after policy, not
- 13:48Speaker 3: a bunch of conspiracy theory, not a bunch of opinion,
- 13:51Speaker 3: but policy after policy that the Democrats and Biden and
- 13:56Speaker 3: I should say Democrats, because we all know that Biden
- 13:59Speaker 3: wasn't there that raised the price of gas and and oil.
- 14:02Speaker 3: And they did it on purpose because they hate your independence.
- 14:07Speaker 3: All right, this is so crucial. Go out and tell
- 14:10Speaker 3: your friends, make sure they remember this. Number 10, Biden
- 14:14Speaker 3: created several bodies within the White House, or somebody next
- 14:18Speaker 3: to him did, charged with creating new policies to regulate energy.
- 14:21Speaker 3: The people who ran these councils, Weren't elected. They did
- 14:26Speaker 3: not receive Senate confirmation, but they had been given broad
- 14:30Speaker 3: powers to come up with new executive actions to which
- 14:34Speaker 3: did not need consent from Congress to regulate U.S.
- 14:39Speaker 2: Energy production.
- 14:41Speaker 3: They wanted to do the entire United States, just like
- 14:43Speaker 3: they've done California. People in California cannot blame the Trump administration, Republicans,
- 14:49Speaker 3: for what's going on, the prices going on in California.
- 14:53Speaker 3: The prices have always been high, ridiculously high in California,
- 14:57Speaker 3: because they won't drill. They're closing down their refineries. They
- 15:02Speaker 3: import gas and oil, which is the craziest thing, in
- 15:10Speaker 3: order to virtue signal. It's the craziest thing. Also, one
- 15:15Speaker 3: section of... Of enacted infrastructure. Remember, I'm reading I'm trying
- 15:20Speaker 3: to get the wording right, because this is an article
- 15:23Speaker 3: going back to 2021 that I had to do some
- 15:25Speaker 3: digging for.
- 15:26Speaker 4: All right.
- 15:26Speaker 3: So one section, it says here of the recently enacted
- 15:29Speaker 3: Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act supported by Biden, it says
- 15:33Speaker 3: by the White House would require every U.S. state to
- 15:36Speaker 3: develop state infrastructure. carbon reduction plans that must be approved
- 15:41Speaker 3: by the U.S. Department of Transportation as well as be
- 15:44Speaker 3: updated every four years. Again, trying to California the rest
- 15:48Speaker 3: of America. The plans are aimed at reducing driving all
- 15:53Speaker 3: over the country, even for people in rural areas where
- 15:57Speaker 3: public transportation was limited and driving is the only option. Also,
- 16:03Speaker 3: the Biden administration and Democrats failed to adequate failed to
- 16:07Speaker 3: take adequate action on annual requirements and small refinery waivers
- 16:13Speaker 3: for the renewable fuel standard and providing regulatory relief from
- 16:16Speaker 3: this biofuel mandate due to economic hardship. His EPA finalized
- 16:22Speaker 3: a rule. regulating greenhouse gas emissions from cars and trucks.
- 16:27Speaker 3: The single regulation could raise the average vehicle price by $ 1, 000.
- 16:32Speaker 3: I think it ended up being even higher than that.
- 16:36Speaker 3: So if you're wondering why, in part, beyond tariffs, to
- 16:40Speaker 3: be honest, why the cost of vehicles skyrocketed Is all
- 16:46Speaker 3: of this EPA stuff, all of this new technology by Democrats.
- 16:50Speaker 3: These car companies were forced to be forced to put
- 16:54Speaker 3: on vehicles because of Democrats. Trump is trying to bring
- 16:57Speaker 3: manufacturing down using the tariffs. And I admit that that
- 17:03Speaker 3: makes the price go up a little bit. But using
- 17:05Speaker 3: tariffs to bring manufacturing back to the United States. So ultimately,
- 17:10Speaker 3: you have short term pain for long term gain. Prices
- 17:13Speaker 3: will come down. There's also a policy the Trump administration
- 17:17Speaker 3: implemented this week. I don't think it got enough attention.
- 17:20Speaker 3: I'll talk to you about that. They also instituted a
- 17:23Speaker 3: new policy on carbon taxes and organized wholesale electricity markets.
- 17:28Speaker 3: So the carbon pricing policy statement issued by the Federal
- 17:32Speaker 3: Energy Regulation Regulatory Commission in April 2021 under Biden was
- 17:37Speaker 3: a blanket endorsement of top-down policies that have been demonstrated
- 17:41Speaker 3: to be costly, ineffective, regressive, and consistently rejected by the
- 17:45Speaker 3: American people. So these people came out swinging for the
- 17:50Speaker 3: oil and gas industries. Raising the prices of common household necessities,
- 17:55Speaker 3: the EPA issued a final rule to phase out a common,
- 17:59Speaker 3: inexpensive refrigerant. The policy is a de facto tax on
- 18:03Speaker 3: air conditioning and refrigeration. They were even coming after our appliances.
- 18:09Speaker 3: So don't forget this stuff when you head to the
- 18:12Speaker 3: ballot box, or I hope you're motivated to go to
- 18:15Speaker 3: the ballot box now that I'm jogging your memory here.
- 18:20Speaker 3: So that you understand what Democrats will do when they
- 18:23Speaker 3: get in office.
- 18:24Speaker 2: They've done it before. We saw the COVID lockdowns.
- 18:27Speaker 3: They did everything possible to get you out of your
- 18:30Speaker 3: ICE engine vehicles, internal combustion engine. They did everything possible
- 18:36Speaker 3: to raise oil and gas prices so that you would
- 18:39Speaker 3: get sick of cars, so that you would want to
- 18:41Speaker 3: go to mass transportation. No different than what they've done
- 18:44Speaker 3: with Obamacare and making health care so unaffordable for average
- 18:49Speaker 3: Americans that the goal is to get you to go
- 18:53Speaker 3: on to socialize or single payer health care system. That's
- 18:57Speaker 3: why you have all these DSA nut jobs. talking about
- 19:02Speaker 3: Medicare for all because they realize people are tired of
- 19:06Speaker 3: the prices that Obamacare forced on all of us.
- 19:10Speaker 2: And now they're going for the kill.
- 19:13Speaker 3: But we can't let them win because it's because of
- 19:15Speaker 3: them that health care prices are so high and gas
- 19:18Speaker 3: prices and oil prices were so high. Guys, we're fighting
- 19:22Speaker 3: a conflict in Iran. We're going to win. We have
- 19:25Speaker 3: to win, in my opinion. And I think this is
- 19:28Speaker 3: good for the United States. I think this will be
- 19:30Speaker 3: good for the entire world, quite frankly, when we do.
- 19:34Speaker 3: And prices will get cheaper. But for now, just hold
- 19:38Speaker 3: on tight. This is short-term pain for long-term gain. More
- 19:41Speaker 3: on the other side. I'm Carl Jackson in for Larry Elder.
- 19:44Speaker 7: All right welcome back to the larry elder show i'm
- 19:57Speaker 7: your guest host carl jackson sitting in Mr.
- 19:59Speaker 2: Sean McConnell is in my ear.
- 20:01Speaker 3: Lou's got my back right here at AM 950, TheAnswerOrlando.com,
- 20:04Speaker 3: sitting right across from the American adversaries. It's always humbling
- 20:08Speaker 3: when I come in studio and American adversaries are here
- 20:11Speaker 3: because I have to park really, really far away. So
- 20:13Speaker 3: it lets me know, Carl, you haven't made it yet.
- 20:15Speaker 2: You haven't made it yet. So anyway, that's always cool.
- 20:20Speaker 3: So anyway, I appreciate all the staff that is helping
- 20:24Speaker 3: me out here, the Larry Elder team.
- 20:27Speaker 2: Thank you guys so much. Chris Ricklokey.
- 20:29Speaker 3: Whoever is manning the lines, 888-971-SAGE, 888-971-SAGE. So we were
- 20:38Speaker 3: talking about the energy and I guess so much more
- 20:41Speaker 3: that I want to get to. But basically, I'm making
- 20:43Speaker 3: the case the Democrat Party is not going to try
- 20:46Speaker 3: to make your life affordable.
- 20:48Speaker 2: All right.
- 20:48Speaker 3: And I think this is one of the most important
- 20:50Speaker 3: elections of our lifetime. Yes, I say this and I
- 20:53Speaker 3: often say this. And yes, I've said this probably every
- 20:56Speaker 3: couple of years. I don't think it's probably probably been
- 21:00Speaker 3: as pressing as it is now because you see the
- 21:02Speaker 3: rise of the Marxists within the Democrat movement. And you
- 21:07Speaker 3: see that the left is completely capitulating, capitulating to them.
- 21:12Speaker 3: And frankly, it's a little it's a little unnerving. I mean,
- 21:15Speaker 3: you see what happened in this fly Dubai in the
- 21:18Speaker 3: mainstream media, not even reporting it or barely reporting it
- 21:22Speaker 3: or reluctantly reporting it as an Islamic terrorist attack, an
- 21:27Speaker 3: attempted hijacking by a man that was radicalized by Islam.
- 21:34Speaker 3: You get on a flight. I've said this before. You
- 21:36Speaker 3: see a Jew, an Orthodox Jew. You see a Christian Jew.
- 21:40Speaker 3: Whatever they whatever we might identify, you know, with maybe
- 21:43Speaker 3: somebody's holding a Bible, got to cross a cross around
- 21:46Speaker 3: their neck. And then you say somebody wrapped up in
- 21:50Speaker 3: a traditional Islamic garb or Muslim garb, you're going to
- 21:53Speaker 3: be a little more concerned.
- 21:54Speaker 2: And that's not because you're racist. That's because you're logical.
- 22:02Speaker 3: It's amazing. But the left doesn't want you to know
- 22:06Speaker 3: what's happening. They don't want to report the news as
- 22:09Speaker 3: it is, as it exists, simply because it just it
- 22:13Speaker 3: destroys all of their narratives.
- 22:16Speaker 2: It really does.
- 22:17Speaker 3: We'll get into it in the third hour. I'm looking forward, hopefully,
- 22:20Speaker 3: to some of your calls. But I want to I
- 22:22Speaker 3: want to talk about Lindsay Clancy, her attorney. Kevin Reddington
- 22:27Speaker 3: tried to get her off, wanted her to walk scot-free.
- 22:30Speaker 3: The judge said, no, no, no, no, there's enough evidence here.
- 22:34Speaker 3: We're not going to find her not guilty. That ain't happening.
- 22:38Speaker 3: So that was a good thing. You have this Krista Pike,
- 22:41Speaker 3: and frankly, it's a sad story all the way around.
- 22:45Speaker 3: You have the young woman that was murdered by Krista Pike.
- 22:51Speaker 3: This story with the lethal injection. And I, for one,
- 22:54Speaker 3: am pro-death penalty. But I don't like the way that
- 22:58Speaker 3: went down. But it's a sad state. At the same time, frankly,
- 23:04Speaker 3: I think the best case scenario would be for her
- 23:07Speaker 3: to die in the hospital at this point. But I
- 23:13Speaker 3: do believe in the death penalty.
- 23:15Speaker 2: All right.
- 23:15Speaker 3: And so. Then you got this Cornell 7, and that
- 23:19Speaker 3: story seems to be a hot mess. So anyway, we'll
- 23:23Speaker 3: get into that. We'll dive into that, just some cultural stuff.
- 23:26Speaker 3: But right now, I want to fight for the country,
- 23:28Speaker 3: and I want to prove to you that you're not
- 23:30Speaker 3: going to be better off if you vote Democrats. You
- 23:32Speaker 3: might feel better about yourself. You might hate Trump. You
- 23:37Speaker 3: may want to take a jab or whatever at Trump.
- 23:41Speaker 3: But all you're going to do ultimately is hurt yourself.
- 23:44Speaker 3: All you're going to do ultimately is hurt your children.
- 23:47Speaker 3: The Democrats haven't done a good job, in my opinion,
- 23:50Speaker 3: of talking about this, or the Republicans haven't done a
- 23:52Speaker 3: great job of talking about this stuff. But it is
- 23:55Speaker 3: so important because, again, just a reminder, Democrats are not
- 24:00Speaker 3: going to bring the cost of oil and gas down.
- 24:03Speaker 3: And when people say that the economy is hurting, I
- 24:06Speaker 3: heard someone say this, and I totally agree. When most people,
- 24:09Speaker 3: the average everyday American says the economy isn't great, they
- 24:13Speaker 3: mean gas prices. That is the one thing you can
- 24:17Speaker 3: go to every single day. You can pass by your
- 24:20Speaker 3: vehicle every single day. You can fill up your vehicle
- 24:24Speaker 3: or put gas in your vehicle. And you're like, oh,
- 24:26Speaker 3: my goodness, this is just this is just crazy. So
- 24:28Speaker 3: that's what they mean. In May of 2021, Biden issued
- 24:32Speaker 3: a sweeping executive order that mobilized federal agencies, including the
- 24:36Speaker 3: Securities and Exchange Commission, to enforce mandates on businesses, insurers,
- 24:41Speaker 3: retirement funds, and suppliers. These policies stifled innovation critical to
- 24:46Speaker 3: improving the environment and increased costs for a wide variety
- 24:50Speaker 3: of businesses. Also, the Biden administration changed key inputs for
- 24:55Speaker 3: economic and regulatory analysis, including raising the, quote, social costs,
- 25:00Speaker 3: close quote, of greenhouse gases. These policies mask the true
- 25:05Speaker 3: consumer costs of regulatory actions. Another thing that the Biden
- 25:10Speaker 3: administration and Democrats opposed. did as early as 2021, the
- 25:15Speaker 3: first year the administration attempted to resurrect an aggressive version
- 25:19Speaker 3: of the Clean Power Plan for power sector mandates called
- 25:23Speaker 3: the Clean Electricity Standard. We'll be back. We'll be back.
- 25:27Speaker 3: I'll wrap this up on the other side. This is
- 25:29Speaker 3: Carl Jackson in for Larry Elder. Man, I got so
- 25:37Speaker 3: much to get to. This is Carl Jackson sitting in
- 25:39Speaker 3: for the great Elderski. Ten year cost of Democratic socialist
- 25:43Speaker 3: policies could hit three hundred and fifty or could cost
- 25:46Speaker 3: three hundred and fifty thousand dollars per household. City Journal,
- 25:52Speaker 3: Chris Ruffo. Kenneth Shrupp, I interviewed him on my podcast
- 25:56Speaker 3: this week, not Chris Ruffo, but Kenneth Shrupp. He was
- 25:59Speaker 3: one of the investigative reporters working with Christopher Ruffo of
- 26:02Speaker 3: City Journal and the Manhattan Institute that exposed the types
- 26:06Speaker 3: of benefits that illegal immigrants inside of California are getting
- 26:11Speaker 3: that are absolutely insane and what they're doing, skirting The
- 26:17Speaker 3: the money that they're getting from the the the the
- 26:20Speaker 3: federal government are actually they're getting money from the federal government,
- 26:24Speaker 3: which allows them to release state money to do a
- 26:26Speaker 3: lot of this stuff. It's absolutely insane. But ultimately, you're
- 26:30Speaker 3: paying for it because they're only able to pay for
- 26:32Speaker 3: it because of the federal government money that they get.
- 26:35Speaker 3: And when I share some of these numbers with you,
- 26:37Speaker 3: you are going to be absolutely blown away. It is insane.
- 26:42Speaker 2: And I'll get to this again.
- 26:43Speaker 3: The Epoch Times reported 10 year cost of Democratic socialist
- 26:47Speaker 3: policies could hit three hundred and fifty thousand dollars per household.
- 26:52Speaker 3: I hope you like the new house. You're not buying.
- 26:56Speaker 3: Or you won't be able to buy. Probably wouldn't be
- 26:58Speaker 3: able to be able to afford the one you're in.
- 27:02Speaker 3: We're Democrats to regain to regain power. More things the
- 27:07Speaker 3: Biden administration did. I'll rip. I'll wrap.
- 27:09Speaker 2: I'll wrap this up real quickly here.
- 27:13Speaker 3: The EPA mandated that even facilities with reduced emissions must
- 27:17Speaker 3: remain on the list of quote unquote major sources subjecting
- 27:20Speaker 3: these facilities to permitting burdens and higher costs. So even facilities,
- 27:25Speaker 3: even businesses that were into low emissions, Biden wanted more.
- 27:30Speaker 2: He wanted to squeeze them more. His EPA.
- 27:33Speaker 3: In the fall of 2021 unified agenda, the EPA stated
- 27:36Speaker 3: their intention to propose what could be considered the Clean
- 27:39Speaker 3: Power Plan 2.0. That policy would impose or impose burdensome
- 27:44Speaker 3: regulations that would that literally had no effect or environmental benefit.
- 27:50Speaker 3: But they did it anyway. Number 21, impeding Americans exports.
- 27:56Speaker 3: You guys might recall this. The administration, the Biden administration
- 28:00Speaker 3: and Democrats, they didn't consider it says here is considering
- 28:03Speaker 3: they actually did it. But it says here, consider considered
- 28:07Speaker 3: potential restrictions or is considering potential restrictions on the export
- 28:11Speaker 3: of crude oil that would increase, not decrease energy prices. Guys, remember,
- 28:17Speaker 3: they did that. Do you remember that we stopped exporting
- 28:23Speaker 3: crude oil? to the point where the EU had to
- 28:27Speaker 3: buy more oil. They couldn't even help Ukraine. All they
- 28:31Speaker 3: could do is front like they were. All they could
- 28:33Speaker 3: do is talk because they were buying crude oil from
- 28:37Speaker 3: Vladimir Putin and Russia like nobody's business, like it was
- 28:40Speaker 3: going out of style, thanks to the Biden administration.
- 28:47Speaker 2: I mean, it's absolutely insane.
- 28:49Speaker 3: More than one quarter of the administration backed Build Back
- 28:52Speaker 3: Better agenda that pulled directly from the Green New Deal.
- 28:55Speaker 3: The Build Back Better agenda included new taxes on natural
- 28:59Speaker 3: gas and home heating.
- 29:01Speaker 2: They will do this again.
- 29:03Speaker 3: They will do this again because now you're faced with
- 29:05Speaker 3: people that are even more radical than Biden and the
- 29:09Speaker 3: people that were in his administration. It also included new
- 29:14Speaker 3: taxes on petroleum and manufacturing.
- 29:19Speaker 2: They picked energy winners and losers.
- 29:22Speaker 3: The Build Back Better agenda would spend taxpayer dollars to
- 29:26Speaker 3: push utilities to adopt more costly, politically preferred forms of energy,
- 29:31Speaker 3: a move that would reduce Americans' energy choices. They did
- 29:35Speaker 3: just that. The last thing, this is all the first year.
- 29:38Speaker 3: This is all in the first year. Twenty five policies
- 29:43Speaker 3: implemented by Biden and Democrats because we know Biden wasn't there.
- 29:47Speaker 2: All right.
- 29:47Speaker 3: So implemented by Biden and Democrats that necessarily rose the
- 29:52Speaker 3: price of gas and oil. So don't let these people
- 29:55Speaker 3: lie to you. They have no intentions of making your
- 29:58Speaker 3: life more affordable. Guys, we're fighting a war. I think
- 30:01Speaker 3: we need to win. For your children's sake, and I'm
- 30:06Speaker 3: not going to sit here and pretend like it's not costly.
- 30:08Speaker 3: I'm not going to sit here and pretend like it's
- 30:10Speaker 3: not causing a little bit of pain because we all
- 30:13Speaker 3: want this stuff to end. But I got to tell you,
- 30:16Speaker 3: for me, it's an investment for my daughter. I don't
- 30:20Speaker 3: want her to have to worry about Iran. I see
- 30:24Speaker 3: all these memes, Iran, every two years, the politicians say
- 30:29Speaker 3: Iran was a nuclear threat. Man, I give Trump a
- 30:33Speaker 3: little more leeway. I give Trump a little more credit.
- 30:37Speaker 3: I give, you know, there's memes of Benjamin Netanyahu every
- 30:40Speaker 3: couple of years. But if you're not following politics, you
- 30:42Speaker 3: don't realize that the IDF, the Israelis, were making sure
- 30:47Speaker 3: they were killing the people producing the materials so they
- 30:50Speaker 3: could continue to buy more time. Because they have to always,
- 30:55Speaker 3: they're getting attacked, but they always have to play politics
- 30:59Speaker 3: because people hate them. And they frankly hate us. Do
- 31:07Speaker 3: the civil climate core build back better? would fund the
- 31:11Speaker 3: salaries of tens of thousands of anti-energy activists who would
- 31:15Speaker 3: perpetuate high energy costs by demanding new and costly federal
- 31:20Speaker 3: regulations and legislation. Unlike releasing oil from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve,
- 31:27Speaker 3: these 25 steps are just a drop in the ocean.
- 31:30Speaker 2: Let me see.
- 31:31Speaker 3: Do I have this? This was on the tip sheet
- 31:33Speaker 3: on Tuesday, right here on my formerly fingerprinted fingertips. All right,
- 31:37Speaker 3: let me remind you guys of this. I'm sure Larry
- 31:39Speaker 3: probably talked about it, but I want to jog your memory.
- 31:43Speaker 3: President Trump ordered a rollback of fuel economy standards that
- 31:50Speaker 3: reduced consumer choices and raised car prices. This according to
- 31:53Speaker 3: USA Today.
- 31:55Speaker 2: So the U.S.
- 31:55Speaker 3: Department of Transportation said on September 28th in a press
- 32:00Speaker 3: release that it is moving to lower the required fleet-wide
- 32:04Speaker 3: average for fuel economy for cars that is set by
- 32:07Speaker 3: regulators from a current requirement of more than 50 miles
- 32:11Speaker 3: per gallon by 2031. 50 miles per gallon by 2031.
- 32:15Speaker 2: All right.
- 32:16Speaker 3: I drive a big truck. I also drive an SUV.
- 32:23Speaker 3: And so, yeah, this stuff, it's what I like. It's
- 32:27Speaker 3: what I like driving. And I drive some older models.
- 32:30Speaker 3: I like the gas guzzlers personally.
- 32:33Speaker 2: That's me.
- 32:34Speaker 3: I should be able to have choice. I pretending like
- 32:37Speaker 3: these manmade materials are going to do better for the
- 32:40Speaker 3: environment is absolutely ridiculous. But again, the goal was to
- 32:44Speaker 3: get you to comply. So they wanted 50 miles per
- 32:46Speaker 3: gallon by 2031 to just under 35 miles per gallon.
- 32:50Speaker 3: So you got to pay more for your vehicle because
- 32:54Speaker 3: the government said you have to pay more. Trump is
- 32:57Speaker 3: eliminating that. The fuel economy rollback, which has been dubbed
- 33:01Speaker 3: freedom means affordable cars, quote unquote, by the Trump administration,
- 33:06Speaker 3: comes as the average price of gas in the U.S.
- 33:08Speaker 2: Reached $ 4. 47 on Monday.
- 33:11Speaker 3: He's doing things to give you more choices and make
- 33:13Speaker 3: life more affordable. Oh, yeah, baby. Thank you for allowing
- 33:25Speaker 3: me to sit behind his microphone. He'll be back with
- 33:28Speaker 3: you on Monday. So you have that to look forward to.
- 33:32Speaker 3: Always a pleasure sitting in for Larry. I love sitting
- 33:34Speaker 3: in for Larry. Just a good time, good crew, and
- 33:39Speaker 3: obviously I love the audience. 888-971-SAGE, 888-971-SAGE is the number
- 33:45Speaker 3: to call into the program if you want. We're going
- 33:47Speaker 3: to talk about affordability. I'm going to give you reasons
- 33:52Speaker 3: why you should vote for Republicans and basically voting for
- 33:58Speaker 3: President Trump so he can finish the job that he started. Guys,
- 34:02Speaker 3: I understand. The man may rub you wrong. You don't
- 34:06Speaker 3: like his personality. I get that. You can turn off
- 34:09Speaker 3: the TV. You don't have to listen to him. But please,
- 34:13Speaker 3: don't hire people that are going to sit here and
- 34:15Speaker 3: tell you they're going to make life easier for you.
- 34:18Speaker 3: When I just proved to you in one year, when
- 34:21Speaker 3: they gained power in one year, they implemented 25 policies
- 34:26Speaker 3: that necessarily skyrocketed the price of gas and oil. Intentionally.
- 34:33Speaker 3: and put rules in place that would raise the cost
- 34:37Speaker 3: of your vehicle because they worship this climate change nonsense,
- 34:44Speaker 3: this man-made climate change nonsense. And I'm not saying that
- 34:49Speaker 3: mankind doesn't have some type of impact on the planet.
- 34:53Speaker 3: I just believe that it's so minuscule, it's ridiculous to
- 34:58Speaker 3: try to pretend like we can do something to control
- 35:02Speaker 3: the climate. It's insane. Iceland, Greenland, how did that happen?
- 35:06Speaker 3: Were there big F-150s going around?
- 35:09Speaker 2: I mean, this is just craziness.
- 35:13Speaker 3: And there's plenty of legitimate scientists that suggest we're in
- 35:16Speaker 3: a cooling cycle, by the way.
- 35:19Speaker 2: More on affordability.
- 35:21Speaker 3: This, according to the Epoch Times, American taxpayers would face
- 35:25Speaker 3: a net fiscal burden of over $ 350, 000 per household in
- 35:31Speaker 3: the next decade if the DSA's top policies were adopted.
- 35:38Speaker 3: This is a report that came from President Trump's Council
- 35:40Speaker 3: of Economic Advisors. The report predicted a net fiscal burden
- 35:44Speaker 3: of more than $ 49 trillion. That's on top of the
- 35:48Speaker 3: $ 40 trillion we just crossed, guys.
- 35:51Speaker 2: The report added.
- 35:52Speaker 3: Up the presumed cost of the DSA's agenda items, such
- 35:56Speaker 3: as loosening border restrictions, handing out amnesty to all illegal
- 36:02Speaker 3: immigrants in the county, abolishing the police and ICE officers,
- 36:09Speaker 3: eliminating prisons, providing government run health care for everyone and
- 36:13Speaker 3: counseling all student loan debt. I mean, this is absolutely insane.
- 36:18Speaker 3: And guys, I'm telling you, don't go anywhere because you're
- 36:20Speaker 3: going to trip out. You're going to trip out in
- 36:23Speaker 3: the next hour. I got to get to how much
- 36:25Speaker 3: are you paying? How much are you paying for an
- 36:28Speaker 3: illegal immigrant? How much is coming out of your wallet
- 36:31Speaker 3: for an illegal immigrant? Because you're paying for it. And
- 36:34Speaker 3: I don't care where you are in the United States.
- 36:36Speaker 3: You're paying for the illegal immigration in California. And when
- 36:39Speaker 3: I say illegal immigration, you're paying for the welfare of
- 36:42Speaker 3: illegal immigrants here. in California, sometimes, oftentimes, frankly, at the
- 36:48Speaker 3: tune of over $ 100, 000 in benefits per family. All of
- 36:56Speaker 3: that and more coming up.
- 36:57Speaker 2: Carl Jackson in for Larry Elder. So let's get her
- 37:04Speaker 2: teed up.
- 37:05Speaker 3: Do you want to play rock?
- 37:06Speaker 8: Say hello to my little friend.
- 37:08Speaker 3: What the hell's That's a bingo.
- 37:13Speaker 4: You can't succeed without teeth.
- 37:16Speaker 2: Mariela here. I'm going to be away today. Carl Jackson
- 37:18Speaker 2: will be sitting in for me. Beat him up.
- 37:20Speaker 3: Hurt him. Make him feel pain.
- 37:24Speaker 7: Okay.
- 37:25Speaker 2: I'm sorry.
- 37:26Speaker 3: That cut is the best cut ever. You cannot succeed
- 37:31Speaker 3: without teeth. Anyway, you're probably going to be paying for
- 37:35Speaker 3: some teeth for illegal immigrants in California, and I will
- 37:38Speaker 3: get to that momentarily. Again, this is your guest host,
- 37:42Speaker 3: Carl Jackson, sitting in for the great L.
- 37:44Speaker 2: Durski.
- 37:45Speaker 3: So much more I'm going to get to. Some other
- 37:48Speaker 3: things that the Trump administration is doing. I do believe
- 37:51Speaker 3: there's going to have to be some culture wars that
- 37:54Speaker 3: we're going to continue to have to fight in education
- 37:56Speaker 3: or with education. So there are some things that are
- 38:00Speaker 3: being done. I want to make sure that I let
- 38:01Speaker 3: you know about as well. Again, don't forget, in the
- 38:04Speaker 3: third hour, we're hitting the cultural issues with the crazy chicks,
- 38:10Speaker 3: as I'm calling it. You got the Cornell 7. And
- 38:13Speaker 3: maybe I should be light when it comes to... I
- 38:15Speaker 3: don't want to call this particular woman, and with.
- 38:17Speaker 2: That case, a crazy chick. But certainly.
- 38:21Speaker 3: When it comes to Krista Pike, when it comes to
- 38:24Speaker 3: Lindsey Clancy, I'd love to hear your thoughts on these
- 38:27Speaker 3: particular cases because they are just crazy to me.
- 38:32Speaker 2: They really are crazy to me.
- 38:34Speaker 3: And obviously, Krista Pike, the attempted execution and botched execution
- 38:39Speaker 3: this week is a big deal. I believe the last update,
- 38:42Speaker 3: she's unconscious still. She's in critical condition and there's no
- 38:47Speaker 3: telling what's going to happen. I think the best case
- 38:50Speaker 3: scenario would be that she would die in her sleep
- 38:55Speaker 3: while she's at the hospital.
- 38:56Speaker 2: But we'll wait and see what happens.
- 38:59Speaker 3: The governor, Bill Lee, said there's not going to be
- 39:01Speaker 3: any more executions this year. I think one thing that
- 39:04Speaker 3: Tennessee could do is maybe they just need to go to, frankly,
- 39:07Speaker 3: shooting people when it comes to the death penalty. I
- 39:10Speaker 3: am an advocate or a proponent, I should say. of
- 39:14Speaker 3: the death penalty on biblical grounds. I believe that it
- 39:20Speaker 3: is necessary. So anyway, we can get into that if
- 39:23Speaker 3: you like in the third hour. But right now, I
- 39:26Speaker 3: want to go back to the policies the Democrats claim
- 39:28Speaker 3: they're going to help you guys out. out. Democrats claim
- 39:31Speaker 3: they're going to make life affordable. And before we went
- 39:34Speaker 3: to the break, I was telling you, not only did
- 39:36Speaker 3: I give you the list, the long list of policies
- 39:39Speaker 3: that that the Biden administration and Democrats implemented in the
- 39:43Speaker 3: first year of his administration to necessarily skyrocket the price
- 39:48Speaker 3: of gas and oil and to over-regulate when it came
- 39:52Speaker 3: to energy, even refrigerant, even determining what type of appliances
- 39:57Speaker 3: you could use and all this kind of stuff. These
- 39:58Speaker 3: people are going to go crazy. They're going to go
- 40:00Speaker 3: drunk with power. And now the people that are co-opting
- 40:04Speaker 3: the Democrat Party or have co-opted the Democrat Party, the
- 40:08Speaker 3: DSA are going to go even crazier because these are
- 40:11Speaker 3: a lot of the young kids that have been brainwashed
- 40:14Speaker 3: in these educational or these institutions, these brainwashing centers that
- 40:20Speaker 3: we call colleges and universities across the country. And they're
- 40:23Speaker 3: even worse. They're even worse. So again, I was talking
- 40:28Speaker 3: to you before. or in the last hour before we
- 40:34Speaker 3: went to break here, about the cost of the Democratic
- 40:38Speaker 3: Socialist policies. $ 350, 000 per household, per household, are the policies
- 40:46Speaker 3: that they're implementing, that they'd like to implement. Do you
- 40:49Speaker 3: think you could go out and buy your own health care?
- 40:52Speaker 3: I mean, this is insane. The majority of the costs...
- 40:56Speaker 3: Would come from Medicare for all, which is predict and
- 40:59Speaker 3: predicted to cost forty seven point four trillion dollars out
- 41:03Speaker 3: of the fifty two point eight trillion in gross cost. Guys,
- 41:07Speaker 3: Medicare for all is health care for none. Medicare for
- 41:11Speaker 3: all is health care for none. You think all of
- 41:15Speaker 3: a sudden you're going to be put on a single
- 41:17Speaker 3: payer system. Essentially, everybody's going to have state designated health care.
- 41:23Speaker 2: That's going to be the system. We're going to end
- 41:25Speaker 2: up like Canada.
- 41:28Speaker 3: I mean, they are just killing people left and right
- 41:29Speaker 3: by suicide. Assisted suicide, I should say, excuse me, assisted suicide.
- 41:37Speaker 3: That's ultimately what this is going to end up being.
- 41:40Speaker 3: And that's exactly what the left wants. These people have
- 41:44Speaker 3: just this weird fascination with wanting to control people. So
- 41:49Speaker 3: all of a sudden, let's say you live in an
- 41:51Speaker 3: area where a doctor maybe has, you know, a primary physician.
- 41:56Speaker 3: has X amount of clients. Now all of a sudden
- 41:58Speaker 3: this physician has the entire city designated to them because
- 42:01Speaker 3: you're not necessarily, there's already a shortage of nurses and doctors.
- 42:06Speaker 2: So now everybody's on the same system.
- 42:08Speaker 3: What you're going to see is people going to the
- 42:10Speaker 3: doctors for sniffles, taking their kids to the doctor for
- 42:12Speaker 3: sniffles and everything.
- 42:13Speaker 2: Oh, because I got Medicaid for this.
- 42:15Speaker 3: And the people that really need help, the people that
- 42:18Speaker 3: really need assistance, whether that be the disabled, whether that
- 42:22Speaker 3: be the elderly, they're going to get pushed to the
- 42:24Speaker 3: back of the line. Because it's going to cost too much.
- 42:29Speaker 3: I mean, this is absolutely insane. All right. So, again,
- 42:33Speaker 3: the majority of the cost will come from Medicare for
- 42:35Speaker 3: all predicted to cost forty seven point four trillion. So
- 42:38Speaker 3: that means one hundred trillion out of fifty two point
- 42:40Speaker 3: eight trillion in gross costs, which was lower to nearly
- 42:43Speaker 3: forty nine trillion due to the estimated three point nine
- 42:47Speaker 3: trillion that will be collected from the wealth tax. Medicare
- 42:50Speaker 3: for all proposals would transform the U.S. into a single
- 42:52Speaker 3: payer health care that I explained system in which the
- 42:55Speaker 3: federal government covers all medical services. So if the government
- 42:59Speaker 3: covers all medical services, who's paying for that since the
- 43:02Speaker 3: government doesn't have any money except the money that they
- 43:04Speaker 3: steal from you? I mean, frankly, a lot of this
- 43:10Speaker 3: just comes down to. These government-run schools that aren't teaching
- 43:15Speaker 3: basic economics, that aren't teaching capitalism, that are hailing evidently
- 43:22Speaker 3: socialism and Marxism in these institutions.
- 43:25Speaker 2: It's insane to me.
- 43:27Speaker 3: The second most expensive proposal, according to the report, would
- 43:30Speaker 3: be canceling student debt and making college free. That comes
- 43:35Speaker 3: at a price tag of $ 3. 6 trillion. So just think
- 43:38Speaker 3: about this. If you're a person like me, all right,
- 43:42Speaker 3: I'm a junior college, a two-time junior college dropout, essentially.
- 43:48Speaker 3: One time I simply couldn't afford it. I couldn't afford it.
- 43:52Speaker 3: And I was fighting at the time I was fighting
- 43:54Speaker 3: for custody of my daughter.
- 43:55Speaker 2: I had to make a choice.
- 43:56Speaker 3: I was going to school actually to get actually to
- 43:59Speaker 3: go into medicine at the time. I wanted to be
- 44:03Speaker 3: a nurse and then eventually become a doctor at the time.
- 44:06Speaker 3: And I decided to forgo it. I decided to fight
- 44:08Speaker 3: for my daughter. So that's exactly that's what I did
- 44:12Speaker 3: instead at the time. The next time I went back,
- 44:15Speaker 3: I'll just be real with you guys. I am not
- 44:18Speaker 3: tech savvy at all. And I was even worse than
- 44:21Speaker 3: and I mean way worse. Worse than with technology advancing
- 44:24Speaker 3: as it has, obviously, iPhone, so on, et cetera. You're
- 44:27Speaker 3: first you're forced to get better at this stuff. But
- 44:29Speaker 3: I still stink at it. But I literally took an
- 44:32Speaker 3: American history class that I absolutely aced getting A's on
- 44:36Speaker 3: every single test.
- 44:37Speaker 2: But you would have these quarterly exams.
- 44:39Speaker 3: And then I thought I was sending them in, and
- 44:42Speaker 3: apparently the professor contacted me and basically emailed me, you failed.
- 44:47Speaker 3: You never turned in your quarterly exams. I was like,
- 44:49Speaker 3: what are you talking about? Not only did I turn
- 44:51Speaker 3: them in, I aced every single one of them. But
- 44:54Speaker 3: I was so technic- I was so mad. I was
- 44:57Speaker 3: just like, screw it.
- 44:58Speaker 2: Screw it.
- 44:59Speaker 3: I'm just going to make money doing something else. I
- 45:01Speaker 3: don't want to go to school. Maybe I'll go back
- 45:04Speaker 3: one day. I don't know. But I just got so
- 45:06Speaker 3: frustrated with it. I was like, OK, maybe God, this
- 45:08Speaker 3: this just isn't for me. It was frustrating. All right.
- 45:11Speaker 3: Student loan debt statistics by the Education Data Initiative suggest
- 45:15Speaker 3: that Americans currently owe roughly $ 1. 9 trillion in student debt.
- 45:20Speaker 3: That's nearly $ 1. 7 trillion of that debt is held by
- 45:23Speaker 3: a federal government and is owed by nearly 43 million
- 45:26Speaker 3: loan recipients. The point that I was making, too, that
- 45:28Speaker 3: I forgot to make in that little rant. telling you
- 45:31Speaker 3: how technologically illiterate I was and am to some degree today,
- 45:37Speaker 3: is I'm sitting here thinking, so you want me, because
- 45:41Speaker 3: I work a blue-collar job, so I should pay for
- 45:46Speaker 3: the people that ostensibly are going to make more money
- 45:50Speaker 3: than me.
- 45:52Speaker 2: Doing white-collar jobs? So the middle class.
- 45:58Speaker 3: Working class should pay for the education of what will
- 46:03Speaker 3: be or should be the upper class, except the people
- 46:06Speaker 3: that took, I guess, sociology courses or whatever. The third
- 46:10Speaker 3: largest spending item would come from a mandated 32-hour work
- 46:14Speaker 3: week costing approximately $ 918 billion in lost tax revenue. These
- 46:22Speaker 3: people seriously don't think. They just have these good ideas,
- 46:26Speaker 3: lofty ideas. It's always the Danys of the world, always
- 46:30Speaker 3: these DSA people. They've gone to college. They've lived a
- 46:34Speaker 3: good life. Their parents got a little money. They feel
- 46:37Speaker 3: purposeless in life. And so they feel like they got
- 46:41Speaker 3: to do something for society. But they haven't lived. They
- 46:45Speaker 3: didn't build the wealth. Their parents did. I mean, it's
- 46:49Speaker 3: absolutely astonishing to me.
- 46:51Speaker 2: Astonishing.
- 46:53Speaker 3: The Trump administration described the proposal's potential impact on the economy,
- 46:57Speaker 3: suggesting they would make everyday costs skyrocket with double digit
- 47:01Speaker 3: inflation and prices rising an extra 130 to 160 percent
- 47:06Speaker 3: over 10 years. If you think things are unaffordable now,
- 47:10Speaker 3: just let Democrats get in. because they have been co-opted
- 47:14Speaker 3: by the DSA. They have been kowtowing to the DSA.
- 47:18Speaker 3: And essentially, the policies that you're going to get are
- 47:21Speaker 3: going to be of the DSA, because I don't see
- 47:24Speaker 3: anybody that's coming to the Democrat Party to rescue it.
- 47:28Speaker 3: The one guy they have, John Fetterman, they can't stand him.
- 47:31Speaker 3: We'll be back. This is Carl Jackson. I'm in for
- 47:34Speaker 3: Larry Elder. We'll be back in a few. Welcome back
- 47:41Speaker 3: to The Larry Elder Show. Again, I'm your guest host
- 47:43Speaker 3: sitting in for The Great Elderski. You can find me
- 47:46Speaker 3: on all things social media, ex-Instagram and Facebook at Carl
- 47:49Speaker 3: Jackson Show or at The Carl Jackson Show.
- 47:52Speaker 2: Either way, you will find me.
- 47:53Speaker 3: Also, please like, share, and subscribe, por favor, to my podcast,
- 47:57Speaker 3: The Carl Jackson Show. We are on YouTube or wherever
- 48:01Speaker 3: you go to get your podcast, The Carl Jackson Show.
- 48:05Speaker 3: That is The Carl Jackson Show. We certainly appreciate that. So,
- 48:10Speaker 3: We talked about all the ways that the Biden administration
- 48:14Speaker 3: and Democrats intentionally raise your gas and oil prices, increase
- 48:20Speaker 3: regulation through the EPA during his.
- 48:24Speaker 2: Four year term.
- 48:26Speaker 3: I was going to say during his tenure, but we
- 48:28Speaker 3: know he wasn't there.
- 48:28Speaker 2: But you know what I mean?
- 48:29Speaker 3: All right. For all intents and purposes, I guess he
- 48:33Speaker 3: was the president of the United States at that at
- 48:36Speaker 3: that time. But Democrats, this this idea that life is
- 48:40Speaker 3: going to be more affordable when if you elect Democrats,
- 48:44Speaker 3: it's just completely insane.
- 48:47Speaker 2: It's just not happening.
- 48:49Speaker 3: Everything they're offering, every single policy they're offering. And notice,
- 48:53Speaker 3: you can watch any one of these people, whether it's El-Sayed,
- 48:56Speaker 3: whether it's Mamdani, whether it's AOC, whether it's Bernie Sanders,
- 49:01Speaker 3: they never have a solution.
- 49:03Speaker 2: Hakeem Jeffries, Cory Booker, we can.
- 49:05Speaker 3: Go through the litany of every single Democrat that gets
- 49:08Speaker 3: a major FaceTime on mainstream media. They never have a solution.
- 49:13Speaker 3: Republicans bad, Trump bad, no policy solutions. Whether you like
- 49:18Speaker 3: Trump or not, You got to give the guy credit
- 49:21Speaker 3: for this guy comes up with solutions. You may not
- 49:25Speaker 3: even always agree with them, and that's fine.
- 49:28Speaker 2: But let's be real.
- 49:29Speaker 3: This guy is doing more than I've seen and God
- 49:33Speaker 3: knows how long to try to strengthen America. America standing
- 49:37Speaker 3: not only in the world, but for you here domestically. Now,
- 49:42Speaker 3: I think in my opinion, and I've said this before,
- 49:45Speaker 3: I think the Republicans and the Trump administration, although these
- 49:49Speaker 3: rallies are helping now, have done a bad job communicating
- 49:52Speaker 3: that and making that loud and clear, even when it
- 49:55Speaker 3: comes to the Iran conflict. Hey, guys, this is going
- 49:57Speaker 3: to be painful. We don't want these guys to have
- 50:00Speaker 3: a nuclear weapon. We don't want our kids in America
- 50:03Speaker 3: to have to worry about this. These guys are to
- 50:06Speaker 3: blame for whether it's whether whether it's attacking some of
- 50:10Speaker 3: our service members overseas. Reasons why we get drawn back
- 50:13Speaker 3: into the Middle East. We don't want to do it anymore.
- 50:16Speaker 3: We want to end this nonsense. If we free the
- 50:18Speaker 3: Persian people, if we finish the job, not only do
- 50:22Speaker 3: we have to not only can we stop worrying about
- 50:25Speaker 3: the world's leading state sponsor, a leading state sponsor of terrorism.
- 50:30Speaker 3: We free the Persian people of Iran. And the Middle
- 50:33Speaker 3: East is free. Maybe the Abraham Accords expand and life
- 50:37Speaker 3: is better for everyone. So some short term pain for
- 50:40Speaker 3: some long term gain. So, no, they're not doing a
- 50:43Speaker 3: great job explaining it. But that is the effect. That
- 50:46Speaker 3: is the objective. It's not like Trump or the Republicans
- 50:49Speaker 3: are in office and saying we want to raise gas prices. No,
- 50:52Speaker 3: we want to win a war. So that we don't
- 50:55Speaker 3: have to worry about some ragtag terrorists in the Middle
- 50:59Speaker 3: East coming after your children.
- 51:00Speaker 2: So I'm going to ask you to invest a little bit.
- 51:02Speaker 3: I'm going to ask you to feel a little pain.
- 51:04Speaker 2: But we're going to get past this. And your gas
- 51:06Speaker 2: prices are going to be cheaper. Your groceries are going
- 51:08Speaker 2: to be cheaper. Your way of life is going to
- 51:10Speaker 2: be cheaper.
- 51:11Speaker 3: More manufacturing inside of the United States as a result
- 51:14Speaker 3: of these policies. And Democrats can't offer you that. Because
- 51:17Speaker 3: you know why? They don't want it. I get so frustrated. Why?
- 51:23Speaker 3: with this affordability lie. I'm frustrated with that. I'm literally hoping,
- 51:30Speaker 3: I kid you not, I need to start praying. I
- 51:32Speaker 3: was going to say I'm hoping and praying, but I
- 51:33Speaker 3: would be lying. I haven't been praying enough. But seriously,
- 51:36Speaker 3: I think we need to pray for the Democrat Party.
- 51:39Speaker 3: I want sensible Democrats.
- 51:43Speaker 2: Was I on here?
- 51:44Speaker 3: Was I on here? I can't even remember whether I
- 51:47Speaker 3: was in for Larry Elder or Scott Jennings at the
- 51:50Speaker 3: time when I interviewed Julian Epstein. Man, I love that guy.
- 51:56Speaker 2: Man, I think we agreed on more.
- 51:58Speaker 3: Than we disagreed on. But regardless, just a smart, common sense,
- 52:03Speaker 3: logical Democrat that loves the United States of America. We
- 52:07Speaker 3: may not agree on everything, but I know he doesn't
- 52:10Speaker 3: hate the country. I know he doesn't want the worst
- 52:12Speaker 3: for me. I'm OK with that.
- 52:17Speaker 2: These people are going to make life more affordable for you.
- 52:20Speaker 2: Give me a joke.
- 52:21Speaker 3: Oh, oh, remember, we got a little we got a
- 52:23Speaker 3: little bad news today when it comes to the job sector.
- 52:26Speaker 3: So much so that the mainstream media jumped on it,
- 52:30Speaker 3: but they forgot to report the good news.
- 52:33Speaker 2: Hat tip.
- 52:34Speaker 3: Epic Times.
- 52:36Speaker 1: U.S.
- 52:36Speaker 3: Private employers went on a hiring spree in September as
- 52:39Speaker 3: job growth came and firmly above expectations. Say what? Yes,
- 52:45Speaker 3: private payrolls increased by 90,000. Private payrolls. You know what
- 52:51Speaker 3: that means?
- 52:51Speaker 2: That means you and I aren't working.
- 52:54Speaker 3: Monday through Friday to pay some jerk inside of Washington, D.C.
- 53:00Speaker 3: These jobs are coming back to the private sector instead
- 53:05Speaker 3: of sticking in. To be fair, not all people that
- 53:08Speaker 3: work in Washington, D.C. are jerks, but you get my drift.
- 53:12Speaker 3: You get my drift. Jobs are returning to the private sector.
- 53:16Speaker 3: You know, another thing that the mainstream media fails to
- 53:19Speaker 3: explain when it comes to these job numbers, when it
- 53:23Speaker 3: comes to these jobs numbers, excuse me. We're deporting so
- 53:28Speaker 3: many illegals that some of the job numbers are going
- 53:32Speaker 3: to look bad. But it's actually a good thing because
- 53:36Speaker 3: now you've got American citizens that can feel some of
- 53:39Speaker 3: these jobs. It may take some time because some of
- 53:43Speaker 3: these jobs might be skilled labor that they knew that
- 53:45Speaker 3: some Americans don't. But we're changing the economy. We're changing
- 53:50Speaker 3: the way education works. Getting back to this piece. Private
- 53:54Speaker 3: payrolls increased by 90,000, exceeding the 70,000 projected by economists
- 54:00Speaker 3: and following a downwardly revised gain of 36,000 in August.
- 54:06Speaker 3: This according to the payroll processing company ADP. September's hiring
- 54:12Speaker 3: gains were broad-based, led by the education and health services sector,
- 54:17Speaker 3: which added 55,000 jobs, followed by leisure and hospitality with 22,000. Pause.
- 54:24Speaker 2: Let me stop there.
- 54:26Speaker 3: Why is leisure and hospitality with 22,000 new employees so important?
- 54:32Speaker 3: Because it tells you that people are spending their money
- 54:36Speaker 3: to relax, to enjoy life a little bit. Manufacturing, 17,000 jobs. Manufacturing,
- 54:42Speaker 3: 17,000 jobs. Construction, 15,000 jobs. Conversely, the private payroll processor
- 54:49Speaker 3: reported sizable declines of jobs in financial activities and 11,000
- 54:55Speaker 3: in professional and business services. Okay. Medium-sized businesses with 50
- 55:02Speaker 3: to 249 employees accounted for more than half of September's hires.
- 55:07Speaker 2: That's good news. Why is that good news?
- 55:09Speaker 3: Because the left always talks about these corporations, corporations, corporations,
- 55:15Speaker 3: trying to demonize corporations. And maybe some deserve to be demonized,
- 55:20Speaker 3: in all fairness, but not all, and not most, I
- 55:23Speaker 3: would argue. Small businesses are growing again. Remember the destruction
- 55:29Speaker 3: that was done to small businesses during Biden's lockdown?
- 55:34Speaker 2: That was completely unnecessary at the time.
- 55:39Speaker 3: So these are the numbers. Somehow, the mainstream media, I
- 55:43Speaker 3: didn't hear it one time. I didn't hear it one
- 55:45Speaker 3: time today. Somehow the mainstream media forgot to tell you
- 55:50Speaker 3: that when it came to the private sector, 90,000 new
- 55:55Speaker 3: jobs in the month of September alone, not government jobs,
- 56:00Speaker 3: ma and pop jobs.
- 56:12Speaker 5: All right.
- 56:13Speaker 2: Welcome back to the Larry Elder Show.
- 56:15Speaker 3: I'm your guest host, Carl Jackson, sitting in for the
- 56:17Speaker 3: great Elderski. Let's go to let's go to the lines
- 56:22Speaker 3: quickly here. Is it Bill in La Cunada, California? Bill,
- 56:27Speaker 3: welcome to the Larry Elder Show. You've got the mic.
- 56:29Speaker 1: How are you doing, Carl?
- 56:31Speaker 2: Hey, I'm doing great. Thank you.
- 56:34Speaker 1: By the way, I find the term illegal immigrant offensive.
- 56:37Speaker 1: The proper term is border burglars.
- 56:43Speaker 2: Okay, that's clever. That's clever.
- 56:45Speaker 3: Go right ahead, Bill. I might steal that.
- 56:49Speaker 2: I like that. That's a good one. That is a
- 56:52Speaker 2: good one.
- 56:53Speaker 3: Okay, go right ahead, Bill. Yeah, you got my permission
- 56:56Speaker 3: on that.
- 56:57Speaker 1: The big, beautiful bill. I'm an independent. I'm a former
- 57:00Speaker 1: newspaper writer. I'm not a Trump cheerleader, but I'm an independent.
- 57:04Speaker 1: I'm looking at my tax bill. The big, beautiful bill
- 57:06Speaker 1: from the Republicans is going to get me an extra
- 57:09Speaker 1: $ 3, 000 starting in 2025 through 2027. That's what the Republicans
- 57:14Speaker 1: are going to do for me. So that's all I
- 57:16Speaker 1: got to know because I'm looking at my auto insurance
- 57:19Speaker 1: up by 40%. I call my company. What's going on?
- 57:22Speaker 1: I got a perfect record. They go, you live in California.
- 57:25Speaker 1: California has millions of uninsured and underinsured drivers who only
- 57:30Speaker 1: have the minimum or no coverage. The rest of the
- 57:33Speaker 1: people paying have to pick up the slack. That's directly
- 57:36Speaker 1: from a really reputable insurance company in New York. So
- 57:41Speaker 1: that's what the Democrats have given me, along with they
- 57:44Speaker 1: tripled my home insurance thanks to Fidel Castro-loving Karen Bass
- 57:49Speaker 1: and her buddy Gavin Newsom, who let the place burn
- 57:52Speaker 1: down a couple of years ago. So that's what the
- 57:55Speaker 1: Democrats have given me. And finally, $ 6. 29 per gallon for gas,
- 58:00Speaker 1: because King Gavin doesn't want people drilling for oil. That's
- 58:04Speaker 1: all I got to know to vote for the Republicans.
- 58:07Speaker 1: That's all I got to know.
- 58:09Speaker 2: Thank you, Bill.
- 58:10Speaker 3: Don't California the rest of America that coming from an
- 58:13Speaker 3: independent bill in La Cunada, California.
- 58:17Speaker 2: Great call.
- 58:18Speaker 3: I got I got to write that down. I can't
- 58:20Speaker 3: forget that border burglars. That's a that's a good one.
- 58:25Speaker 3: Every once in a while you hear something. And a man,
- 58:29Speaker 3: you just you just got to steal it. I heard
- 58:31Speaker 3: my buddy Christopher Hart. What did he what did he
- 58:33Speaker 3: say about the flight? Fly Dubai mid the miracle in midair.
- 58:37Speaker 3: And I was like, oh, God. Why didn't I think
- 58:39Speaker 3: of that? So every once in a while you hear
- 58:41Speaker 3: something and you're like, I just I just have to
- 58:43Speaker 3: take it. I have to use it.
- 58:45Speaker 2: That happens to be one of them. I'd love that.
- 58:47Speaker 3: Not only. But it makes me kind of hungry because
- 58:49Speaker 3: I think of a little character at McDonald's. So it
- 58:51Speaker 3: does make me want to get a burger. But but anyway, nonetheless,
- 58:55Speaker 3: I digress. I'm going to I'm going to I'm going to.
- 59:03Speaker 3: Kind of tack on to what Bill said in just
- 59:06Speaker 3: a second, especially when it comes to cost in California.
- 59:10Speaker 2: I also want to talk to David Limbaugh.
- 59:12Speaker 3: You guys might remember, obviously, Rush Limbaugh's brother wrote this book,
- 59:16Speaker 3: The Great Destroyer. Obama was out again talking about why
- 59:20Speaker 3: is the nation or asking the question, why is the
- 59:23Speaker 3: nation so divided?
- 59:25Speaker 2: Where did this come from? I really believe I really
- 59:29Speaker 2: believe that he's the epicenter of that. I really do.
- 59:31Speaker 3: I mean, we look at the DSA today and we're like,
- 59:33Speaker 3: oh my goodness, they're way more radical than Obama.
- 59:36Speaker 2: Obama laid the foundation for all of this stuff.
- 59:39Speaker 3: Obama was the one that played all of the race
- 59:45Speaker 3: warfare and all that kind of stuff. He started that stuff.
- 59:49Speaker 3: As Americans, we're getting past that nonsense.
- 59:53Speaker 2: I've told you guys this story before.
- 59:54Speaker 3: I literally remember mowing my lawn And these kids walking by,
- 59:59Speaker 3: it was it was almost like a commercial. It seemed
- 1:00:02Speaker 3: so fake. I can't even remember all of the ethnicities,
- 1:00:05Speaker 3: but there was a black kid. I believe there was
- 1:00:07Speaker 3: a white girl. I believe a Chinese boy and then
- 1:00:11Speaker 3: a and then a white boy all walking together with
- 1:00:14Speaker 3: a dog, one on a skateboard. I can't remember which
- 1:00:17Speaker 3: and somebody dribbling a basketball. And I remember looking at
- 1:00:20Speaker 3: these kids. This was pre Obama. And I was like,
- 1:00:24Speaker 3: we made it. We made it. I mean, I was
- 1:00:26Speaker 3: in L.A. During the Los Angeles riots. And then to
- 1:00:32Speaker 3: come full circle and just have that moment where you
- 1:00:35Speaker 3: see these people, you see these kids and they're over
- 1:00:40Speaker 3: this stuff. We've done it. We made it. Whites used
- 1:00:47Speaker 3: to be able to joke with blacks. Blacks used to
- 1:00:48Speaker 3: be able to joke with whites. And then Obama came
- 1:00:51Speaker 3: on the scene. Just absolutely amazing. So I'll get into that.
- 1:00:59Speaker 3: a little more momentarily. But what was I talking about?
- 1:01:01Speaker 2: Man, I forget.
- 1:01:02Speaker 3: Okay, so the private sector growth. All right, so good
- 1:01:04Speaker 3: news there. All right, good news there. All right, so
- 1:01:09Speaker 3: the numbers are gaining. I could go on, but I
- 1:01:11Speaker 3: would have to go on forever. I want to go
- 1:01:14Speaker 3: to different things. I want to make sure that I
- 1:01:16Speaker 3: get to this City Journal report. I did a podcast
- 1:01:18Speaker 3: on this, by the way, with one of the investigative
- 1:01:20Speaker 3: reporters of City Journal, Kenneth Shrub. So make sure you
- 1:01:24Speaker 3: subscribe to my podcast, The Carl Jackson Show, YouTube Salem
- 1:01:28Speaker 3: Podcast Network, to check out that entire interview.
- 1:01:32Speaker 2: But I'm going to break some of it down.
- 1:01:34Speaker 3: How much money are you spending for illegal immigrants in California?
- 1:01:39Speaker 3: I'm about to tell you. Stay tuned. All right, you guys,
- 1:01:54Speaker 3: welcome back to the Larry Elder Show. I'm your guest host,
- 1:01:58Speaker 3: Carl Jackson, sitting in for the great Elderski.
- 1:02:01Speaker 2: Always a pleasure to do so. I do have some
- 1:02:04Speaker 2: good news to bring you, too.
- 1:02:05Speaker 3: I want to make sure I do that because AOC's
- 1:02:07Speaker 3: influence is hitting a brick wall. I really didn't want
- 1:02:10Speaker 3: to carry that into the third hour, but I'm probably
- 1:02:12Speaker 3: going to have to because I'm looking forward to maybe
- 1:02:15Speaker 3: talking to some of you about the situation, the Cornell
- 1:02:19Speaker 3: 7 situation. Krista Pike as well, if you want to
- 1:02:21Speaker 3: sound off on that. But also, I do want to
- 1:02:25Speaker 3: bring you some of that good news. But I've got
- 1:02:27Speaker 3: to go to this investigative report by the City Journal.
- 1:02:30Speaker 3: Christopher Rufo, Kenneth Shrupp, and forgive me, I believe the
- 1:02:34Speaker 3: other gentleman's name was Adam Hoff.
- 1:02:37Speaker 2: Anyway, investigative reporters.
- 1:02:39Speaker 3: At the City Journal did some great reporting when it
- 1:02:42Speaker 3: comes to California's welfare system or shadow welfare system by
- 1:02:48Speaker 3: border burglars, a.k.a. illegal aliens. All right.
- 1:02:54Speaker 2: Here's a summary.
- 1:02:54Speaker 3: So California runs the nation's largest welfare system. They devote
- 1:02:58Speaker 3: more than $ 180 billion annually to food, health care, other
- 1:03:03Speaker 3: programs for the poor, and the downtrodden. In theory, these
- 1:03:07Speaker 3: programs are supposed to help struggling Californians, they write. In reality,
- 1:03:12Speaker 3: many serve large numbers of illegals. Today, California oversees a
- 1:03:17Speaker 3: shadow welfare system that allows non-citizens, illegals, border burglars, to
- 1:03:23Speaker 3: receive health care, rental assistance, college grants, tax credits, low-cost
- 1:03:32Speaker 3: car insurance, and even smartphones. All on your dime.
- 1:03:39Speaker 2: My dime. So, let I get this straight.
- 1:03:46Speaker 3: You break in. This wouldn't happen anywhere else, by the way.
- 1:03:50Speaker 3: Maybe Europe. You break into the country. Unlawfully, you invade
- 1:04:00Speaker 3: the country. And as a reward, taxpayers pay for your
- 1:04:07Speaker 3: health care, rental assistance. How many of you out there
- 1:04:12Speaker 3: are struggling and you're getting rental assistance, some type of
- 1:04:15Speaker 3: rental assistance? You're paying for it, though. College grants. Maybe
- 1:04:23Speaker 3: like me, you look at it and you're like, you
- 1:04:24Speaker 3: know what? I can't afford college. It's just I can't
- 1:04:28Speaker 3: go on. I'm frustrated.
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: Whatever.
- 1:04:30Speaker 2: Can't go on.
- 1:04:32Speaker 3: Tax credits. Low cost car insurance and smartphones. This is
- 1:04:37Speaker 3: expensive stuff. So you're struggling. You're busting your butt to
- 1:04:41Speaker 3: pay rent. Maybe sometimes you got to ask for help.
- 1:04:46Speaker 3: Family members, friends, maybe a little short. Or maybe you
- 1:04:50Speaker 3: pay the rent, but you hardly have money to do
- 1:04:52Speaker 3: anything else. Maybe you should leave the country. Come back. Well,
- 1:04:58Speaker 3: you can't now since Trump is in. But you could
- 1:05:00Speaker 3: have under the Biden administration. And with the help of
- 1:05:03Speaker 3: people like Gavin Newsom. Xavier Becerra. Guys, don't vote for
- 1:05:08Speaker 3: him in California. I hope that you show some. Your
- 1:05:11Speaker 3: state is done. I mean, it's done.
- 1:05:14Speaker 2: You've got a glimmer of hope with Steve Hilton. I
- 1:05:17Speaker 2: pray to God. You guys make the right choice. I
- 1:05:20Speaker 2: really do love to see that state restored.
- 1:05:24Speaker 3: But I don't see it coming back a long time
- 1:05:27Speaker 3: if ever if Xavier Becerra gets in. It's enough that
- 1:05:30Speaker 3: you guys are going to get Nithya Raman as the L.A.
- 1:05:33Speaker 3: mayor since the election was rigged for her. It's insane
- 1:05:37Speaker 3: to me. All right, so they visited four public offices,
- 1:05:41Speaker 3: the investigative reporters did, in Southern California. Each admitted that
- 1:05:44Speaker 3: illegal aliens can enroll in public welfare programs or receive
- 1:05:48Speaker 3: benefits on their children's behalf. In total, California taxpayers spent
- 1:05:54Speaker 3: $ 11 billion subsidizing illegal immigrants in the last fiscal year.
- 1:05:59Speaker 3: This is what they call the state shadow government or
- 1:06:02Speaker 3: shadow welfare system, excuse me, and there's no signs that
- 1:06:05Speaker 3: it's slowing down anytime soon. Local officials were remarkably transparent.
- 1:06:11Speaker 3: In Glendale, California, they spoke to a welfare officer about California's,
- 1:06:15Speaker 3: listen to this, cash assistance program for immigrants. Cash Assistance
- 1:06:20Speaker 3: Program for Immigrants, CAPI, CAPI it's called, a state-funded alternative
- 1:06:26Speaker 3: to supplemental security income that provides monthly cash assistance to
- 1:06:31Speaker 3: low-income non-citizens who are elderly or disabled. Now listen, I
- 1:06:37Speaker 3: understand people want to come to this country despite what
- 1:06:40Speaker 3: Democrats say it's the best country on God's green earth,
- 1:06:43Speaker 3: all right?
- 1:06:44Speaker 2: I get it. You just got to come here legally.
- 1:06:46Speaker 2: And I shouldn't be paying for you.
- 1:06:48Speaker 3: If you can't pay for yourself to come here, you
- 1:06:50Speaker 3: don't have a sponsor to come to the United States
- 1:06:52Speaker 3: of America. You shouldn't come here. Well, it's stolen land.
- 1:06:56Speaker 3: Please give me a break. All land around the world
- 1:07:00Speaker 3: is conquered. Period. Period. That's how, that's the way the
- 1:07:05Speaker 3: world worked. Then you draw lines, you draw borders, you
- 1:07:08Speaker 3: draw boundaries. It's naive to think that way.
- 1:07:14Speaker 2: One of the, um, officials.
- 1:07:18Speaker 3: One of the officials there said, if you are a citizen,
- 1:07:21Speaker 3: you cannot get CAPI. This was at the Glendale office,
- 1:07:25Speaker 3: I presume. I don't care about legal or not. Not
- 1:07:28Speaker 3: being a citizen is the key. They said in Los Angeles,
- 1:07:33Speaker 3: they heard more of the same. They asked another welfare
- 1:07:36Speaker 3: officer about the benefits available to illegal immigrants and their children.
- 1:07:40Speaker 3: While some state programs are closed to illegals, we learned
- 1:07:42Speaker 3: they are open to those aliens, U.S.
- 1:07:46Speaker 2: Born children.
- 1:07:47Speaker 3: So my goal or my attempt here isn't to pit
- 1:07:51Speaker 3: you against. Well, it is illegal immigration or the people necessarily,
- 1:07:57Speaker 3: but your government. This is what your government is doing
- 1:08:00Speaker 3: to you. While you're struggling, Democrats are running that they'll
- 1:08:05Speaker 3: make life more affordable. Yet you can't name one blue city.
- 1:08:10Speaker 3: or state run by Democrats where life is more affordable.
- 1:08:15Speaker 3: You've got example after example after example.
- 1:08:18Speaker 2: You struggle. You bust your butt. I understand. You're upset
- 1:08:22Speaker 2: about an Iran war. I agree with it. You disagree
- 1:08:24Speaker 2: with it.
- 1:08:25Speaker 3: I understand.
- 1:08:26Speaker 2: I get it.
- 1:08:26Speaker 3: I get it. That's temporary. This isn't. This isn't. This
- 1:08:33Speaker 3: is what the left does. You bust your butt. to
- 1:08:39Speaker 3: pay for their agenda. Government is in charge. You're not.
- 1:08:43Speaker 3: That's what's happening in California. The people aren't in control
- 1:08:47Speaker 3: in California. It isn't we the people. It's they.
- 1:08:51Speaker 2: It's they the government.
- 1:08:56Speaker 3: When it comes to places like California, and I would
- 1:08:58Speaker 3: argue even for this election, this has to be, and
- 1:09:02Speaker 3: this is, in my opinion, an us versus them. This
- 1:09:07Speaker 3: is big government liberals, leftists, Democrats, socialists. It's us versus them.
- 1:09:14Speaker 3: Because they're telling you with their policies what they're going
- 1:09:18Speaker 3: to do to your state and this country.
- 1:09:20Speaker 2: We'll be back. Alright, welcome back to the Larry Elder Show.
- 1:09:37Speaker 3: I'm your guest host, Carl Jackson, sitting in for the
- 1:09:40Speaker 3: great Elderski. Welcome to the program. The number to call in, 888-971-SAGE.
- 1:09:48Speaker 3: 888-971-SAGE is the number to call in to the program. Also,
- 1:09:51Speaker 3: remember in the next hour, I'm still going to be
- 1:09:53Speaker 3: covering some of this stuff because I just want to
- 1:09:56Speaker 3: inform you.
- 1:09:56Speaker 2: However....
- 1:09:58Speaker 3: I guess these are somewhat lighter, at least for me.
- 1:10:01Speaker 3: So if you want to call in and talk about
- 1:10:03Speaker 3: the Cornell 7 situation there, you have the New York
- 1:10:07Speaker 3: AG Letitia James now being named as a special special
- 1:10:13Speaker 3: counsel to take over. That particular case, you want to
- 1:10:16Speaker 3: talk about the botched the botched execution of Krista Pike
- 1:10:20Speaker 3: or or.
- 1:10:22Speaker 2: Or the sentence altogether. So be it.
- 1:10:25Speaker 3: Lindsay Clancy, her her attorney, Kevin Reddington, was asking that
- 1:10:31Speaker 3: the judge find her not guilty, basically. And the judge said, no,
- 1:10:36Speaker 3: I mean, the lady murdered her three kids. She shouldn't
- 1:10:40Speaker 3: be getting out even if she were insane. Listen, she
- 1:10:43Speaker 3: shouldn't be getting out of prison or any institution for
- 1:10:46Speaker 3: that matter for the rest of her life. That's absolutely insane.
- 1:10:49Speaker 3: They're trying to I think they're trying a new tactic
- 1:10:52Speaker 3: or a new strategy. Basically, she doesn't remember that she
- 1:10:55Speaker 3: did it. There's no evidence that she did it, which
- 1:10:57Speaker 3: is absolutely insane since she confessed to it. But but
- 1:11:02Speaker 3: I guess that would be the strategy. So anyway, just
- 1:11:05Speaker 3: pretty outlandish stuff. Nonetheless, getting back to you, how many
- 1:11:08Speaker 3: illegal aliens are you funding? That's that's the question. That's
- 1:11:12Speaker 3: the question of the moment. How many illegal aliens are
- 1:11:17Speaker 3: you funding? How many border burglars? I love that term.
- 1:11:21Speaker 2: Are you funding?
- 1:11:23Speaker 3: This is insane. Again, in L.A., again, the investigators heard
- 1:11:28Speaker 3: that another welfare officer about the benefits available to illegal
- 1:11:33Speaker 3: immigrants and their children. While some state programs are closed
- 1:11:37Speaker 3: to illegals, they learn they are open to to the
- 1:11:40Speaker 3: aliens of U.S. born children. So this is another reason
- 1:11:44Speaker 3: to get rid of this birthright citizenship. He goes on.
- 1:11:47Speaker 2: Are they gone?
- 1:11:49Speaker 3: This is an officer from Cal Works. If you were
- 1:11:53Speaker 3: born here and the child was born here, you get
- 1:11:55Speaker 3: money for two. The officer said a CalWORKs, the state's
- 1:11:59Speaker 3: version of TAMF, the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families program,
- 1:12:04Speaker 3: because she is not, and the child is, she only
- 1:12:07Speaker 3: gets money for the child and not for her. So
- 1:12:11Speaker 3: even an illegal alien parent can still get money for
- 1:12:14Speaker 3: the child in California. Now, the benefits add up. In California,
- 1:12:18Speaker 3: illegal immigrants can qualify for CAPI. Public health insurance, various
- 1:12:23Speaker 3: tax credits, their children qualify for others, including CalWORKs, and
- 1:12:30Speaker 3: as in other states, Section 8 rental subsidies. All told,
- 1:12:35Speaker 3: a family of five in California with two illegal alien parents,
- 1:12:41Speaker 3: two U.S.-born children, and one illegal alien grandparent can receive
- 1:12:46Speaker 3: public services worth more than 100 grand. It used to
- 1:12:53Speaker 3: be you came to America to achieve the American dream.
- 1:12:57Speaker 2: Now it's to get welfare.
- 1:12:58Speaker 3: Insane. So let's get her teed up! Do you want
- 1:13:14Speaker 3: to play rock? Say hello to my new friend! What
- 1:13:16Speaker 3: the hell's going on? That's a bingo. You can't succeed
- 1:13:23Speaker 3: with OD.
- 1:13:23Speaker 2: Hey, Eldorados, Carl Jackson will be sitting in for me today.
- 1:13:26Speaker 2: Try and be kind.
- 1:13:28Speaker 3: I know he's not the black face of white supremacy,
- 1:13:30Speaker 3: but I worked very hard for that title and I
- 1:13:32Speaker 3: ain't giving it up.
- 1:13:33Speaker 7: Please say hello, Carl Jackson.
- 1:13:37Speaker 3: All right.
- 1:13:37Speaker 2: Thank you, Mr. Larry Elder. All right.
- 1:13:40Speaker 3: Love sitting in for Larry. Thank you so much for
- 1:13:43Speaker 3: the opportunity. Lou's got my back right here at AM 950.
- 1:13:45Speaker 3: The answer or Landolt dot com. Plenty of great programming here.
- 1:13:50Speaker 3: American adversaries, Roger Franklin, Williams and more. So the answer
- 1:13:55Speaker 3: or Landolt dot com. Sean McConnell is in my ear.
- 1:13:58Speaker 3: Chris producing the program. I believe Rick Lowkey. I'm not
- 1:14:01Speaker 3: sure if he's on the line or who's on the lines,
- 1:14:03Speaker 3: but in studio. So thank you for all of you.
- 1:14:07Speaker 3: And of course, all of you in the listening.
- 1:14:09Speaker 2: What did you say?
- 1:14:11Speaker 3: Suzette. All right. Suzette is on the lines.
- 1:14:14Speaker 4: All right.
- 1:14:14Speaker 2: Triple eight nine seven one sage.
- 1:14:17Speaker 4: All right.
- 1:14:17Speaker 2: Hello, Suzette.
- 1:14:18Speaker 4: All right.
- 1:14:19Speaker 2: Triple eight nine seven one sage. All right.
- 1:14:21Speaker 3: I want to talk about some crazy chicas. I will
- 1:14:25Speaker 3: circle back to this story. How many illegal aliens are
- 1:14:30Speaker 3: you funding? Because I think this is very important. And
- 1:14:33Speaker 3: how is California managing to get away with this when
- 1:14:38Speaker 3: federal law generally prohibits states from using federal dollars to
- 1:14:44Speaker 3: serve illegals? And again, guys, this isn't an ethnic issue.
- 1:14:49Speaker 3: This is American citizens versus not citizens. we just can't
- 1:14:57Speaker 3: foot the bill for people that want to come into
- 1:14:59Speaker 3: the country illegally, especially if you're struggling yourself. I mean,
- 1:15:04Speaker 3: it just makes no sense. So I will circle back
- 1:15:08Speaker 3: to that because I got more numbers that I want
- 1:15:11Speaker 3: to share with you, but I'm giving you the gist
- 1:15:14Speaker 3: of it, but there are some big numbers. So again,
- 1:15:17Speaker 3: when Democrats are talking about affordability, look no further than California.
- 1:15:22Speaker 3: Look no further than New York City. Look no further
- 1:15:26Speaker 3: than Illinois. Name one blue city that's affordable, that's more affordable.
- 1:15:35Speaker 3: It's just insane. So you've got to put your thinking
- 1:15:39Speaker 3: caps on. You can't fall for this. You can't fall
- 1:15:42Speaker 3: for this nonsense. I was going to go. I am
- 1:15:45Speaker 3: going to go to crazy chicas.
- 1:15:46Speaker 9: All right.
- 1:15:47Speaker 3: I do want to talk about the Cornell 7. Feel
- 1:15:49Speaker 3: free to call in and talk about that. 888-971-SAGE. If
- 1:15:53Speaker 3: you want to sound off on Krista Pike and the
- 1:15:54Speaker 3: botched execution and the horrendous murder. I mean, I actually
- 1:15:59Speaker 3: do feel sorry for Krista Pike in this situation, but
- 1:16:02Speaker 3: obviously I feel sorry. I'm more sorry for the victim.
- 1:16:05Speaker 3: the woman she murdered. You can't lose the victims in
- 1:16:08Speaker 3: these stories, but all around just a very bad situation,
- 1:16:13Speaker 3: in my opinion.
- 1:16:14Speaker 2: And we will get into that. So I do want
- 1:16:17Speaker 2: to get to the crazy chicas.
- 1:16:18Speaker 3: But before I go there, I was thinking about the
- 1:16:20Speaker 3: division that exists in America.
- 1:16:22Speaker 2: Barack Obama was out.
- 1:16:23Speaker 3: Former President Barack Obama was out again, I believe, questioning
- 1:16:28Speaker 3: the Questioning in a rally of some sort or speaking
- 1:16:33Speaker 3: somewhere on the stump, helping Democrats out or whatever, asking
- 1:16:36Speaker 3: the question, how did America get so divided? How did
- 1:16:39Speaker 3: America get so divided? And I was looking up David
- 1:16:45Speaker 3: Limbaugh's old book, Brother of Rush Limbaugh. the great destroyer.
- 1:16:51Speaker 3: And I just looked at a basic outline and some
- 1:16:54Speaker 3: of the things came back to my memory. So how
- 1:16:58Speaker 3: did we get so divided?
- 1:17:02Speaker 2: It started with him. It started with him.
- 1:17:08Speaker 3: And all that's happened ever since is it's continued to
- 1:17:12Speaker 3: fester and grow on the left While these people have
- 1:17:15Speaker 3: gotten more crazy and more crazy and more crazy, they
- 1:17:18Speaker 3: go to these college campuses. And they get they get
- 1:17:22Speaker 3: brainwashed on college campuses, which leads me to a another thing.
- 1:17:26Speaker 3: The Trump administration are a couple of things. The Trump
- 1:17:29Speaker 3: administration is going to do that where I think right
- 1:17:32Speaker 3: now we may be experiencing short term pain, but there's
- 1:17:35Speaker 3: going to be long term gain in.
- 1:17:37Speaker 2: The culture as a result. So I will share that
- 1:17:40Speaker 2: for you momentarily.
- 1:17:41Speaker 3: But I'm just going through some of the chapter stuff,
- 1:17:44Speaker 3: trying to remember some of the things that were occurring
- 1:17:47Speaker 3: during that time. But he starts off with chapter one,
- 1:17:51Speaker 3: just a brief synopsis, foreign policy, national, the war on America,
- 1:17:56Speaker 3: foreign policy and national self-image. The topics include the apology tour,
- 1:18:01Speaker 3: the apology tour. So he was painting all of us
- 1:18:04Speaker 3: as these Neanderthals asking forgiveness, going around the world, asking
- 1:18:08Speaker 3: forgiveness for what America had done. He showed contempt for
- 1:18:14Speaker 3: American exceptionalism. Limbaugh wrote deference to the United Nations, U.N. funding,
- 1:18:20Speaker 3: international climate schemes, criticism of American culture, praise for figures
- 1:18:24Speaker 3: such as Jake Rivera. You may not remember that. And
- 1:18:27Speaker 3: efforts to globalize taxes and regulation. There was a specific
- 1:18:31Speaker 3: war on the right. You guys may or may not.
- 1:18:33Speaker 3: I forget all about this. Sisters of the poor. He
- 1:18:37Speaker 3: went after sisters of the poor. For God's sakes. Where
- 1:18:41Speaker 3: did this division come from? Barack Obama needs to look
- 1:18:46Speaker 3: in the mirror. It started with him. It started with him.
- 1:18:53Speaker 3: That should be his legacy. That should be his legacy. Oh,
- 1:18:58Speaker 3: it's Trump. Trump is, listen, Trump may be half cray cray.
- 1:19:02Speaker 3: He isn't dividing people. You either like the man or
- 1:19:04Speaker 3: you dislike the man. I don't think there's a lot
- 1:19:07Speaker 3: of people in the gray area. When it comes to Trump.
- 1:19:11Speaker 3: But he's dividing the nation. No, people just hate him
- 1:19:15Speaker 3: because he's so because he's so he's so he's so blunt,
- 1:19:20Speaker 3: for one, and because he's changing things up in Washington, D.C.
- 1:19:25Speaker 3: And the only thing they know how to do, the people,
- 1:19:27Speaker 3: the establishment that love that love getting things done their
- 1:19:32Speaker 3: way is just call them all types of names. The
- 1:19:39Speaker 3: civility is one way demand. Civility was one way demand.
- 1:19:42Speaker 3: He would always talk about how the left needs to
- 1:19:44Speaker 3: be or the right needs to be more civil. Deflection
- 1:19:47Speaker 3: after the bin Laden raid. Identity politics. Obviously, identity politics
- 1:19:51Speaker 3: became a big thing under Obama. You couldn't criticize the
- 1:19:54Speaker 3: man without being called a racist. Class warfare was a
- 1:19:58Speaker 3: big thing under the Biden administration. The charge that debt
- 1:20:02Speaker 3: reduction was racist came under him. Medicare scare. The claim
- 1:20:07Speaker 3: that GOP's vision is, quote unquote, radical. He was calling GOP.
- 1:20:11Speaker 3: I mean, every your average, your and not Tea Party years,
- 1:20:15Speaker 3: your average everyday Republicans, they were being called radicals by Obama.
- 1:20:21Speaker 3: Then there was the war on the disobedient, pressure on critics,
- 1:20:23Speaker 3: and red state institutions includes alleged pressure on newspapers, retaliation
- 1:20:29Speaker 3: against businesses, the Tea Party downgrade. Guys, if you were
- 1:20:33Speaker 3: part of the Tea Party, he sicked the IRS on people.
- 1:20:36Speaker 3: He sicked the IRS on people as the president of
- 1:20:40Speaker 3: the United States.
- 1:20:41Speaker 2: You guys remember fast and furious.
- 1:20:43Speaker 3: He couldn't stand, you know, the Bible totem second amendment people.
- 1:20:47Speaker 2: So he tried to use fast and.
- 1:20:49Speaker 3: Furious as a way to rally Americans against guns. Obviously
- 1:20:56Speaker 3: you have the Benghazi scandal. There's just so much that
- 1:21:02Speaker 3: this guy did. Um, He claimed that the he claims
- 1:21:08Speaker 3: that the administration treated opposing states as adversaries rather than
- 1:21:12Speaker 3: as part of the county, the country it governs. So
- 1:21:16Speaker 3: he just made every everything a cultural war, everything a
- 1:21:19Speaker 3: political war. Red team bad. That's constantly what he did.
- 1:21:23Speaker 3: But so much of it was racial politics. So much
- 1:21:26Speaker 3: of it was politics. class warfare. This is what this
- 1:21:29Speaker 3: is what he did. The war on the economy, the
- 1:21:31Speaker 3: stimulus jobs and recovery argues that jobs saved or created
- 1:21:36Speaker 3: mass job losses.
- 1:21:37Speaker 2: All these things.
- 1:21:38Speaker 3: Anyway, the guy did a lot to try to destroy America,
- 1:21:42Speaker 3: not to mention the fact that he implemented with the
- 1:21:46Speaker 3: help of Chief Justice John Roberts, Obamacare. And now you
- 1:21:50Speaker 3: have the left bashing the right. Oh, Medicare for all
- 1:21:54Speaker 3: the right.
- 1:21:55Speaker 2: The right.
- 1:21:55Speaker 3: Republicans don't want you to have health care when they're
- 1:21:58Speaker 3: the ones that destroyed the health care system. And for
- 1:22:01Speaker 3: the life of me, I don't know why Republicans don't
- 1:22:04Speaker 3: remind people of this every single day, every time they
- 1:22:08Speaker 3: get in front of a camera. Hey, guys, remember, remember,
- 1:22:12Speaker 3: this is why your health care costs are so high,
- 1:22:15Speaker 3: so expensive. Where your deductibles are outrageous, your premiums seem
- 1:22:21Speaker 3: to skyrocket every year. It's because of Obamacare. It's because
- 1:22:26Speaker 3: of Democrats. You hate this system. They're asking for more.
- 1:22:32Speaker 3: How does all this happen? How do we get to
- 1:22:34Speaker 3: a point? How do we get to a point where
- 1:22:38Speaker 3: a party can destroy the country? Everything they do, they
- 1:22:43Speaker 3: project onto Republicans. And yet people literally consider the Democrat
- 1:22:47Speaker 3: Party is a joke. It's a joke. It's brainwashing. I
- 1:22:56Speaker 3: think so many people, whether it's social media.
- 1:23:00Speaker 2: You've got these social.
- 1:23:01Speaker 3: Contagions going on on social media, but you also have education,
- 1:23:05Speaker 3: academia that is brainwashing people to become Democrats, and they're
- 1:23:11Speaker 3: growing dumber by the minute. Hat tip to post-millennial, Trump
- 1:23:14Speaker 3: to ban federal student loans for worthless college degrees. This,
- 1:23:19Speaker 3: in my opinion, is short-term pain for long-term gain. Besides
- 1:23:24Speaker 3: social media, I think one of the worst things that
- 1:23:27Speaker 3: has happened is to United States citizens, speaking of younger citizens,
- 1:23:35Speaker 3: is the fact that virtually everybody can go to college.
- 1:23:39Speaker 3: You could be a devout Catholic, Christian, whatever. You go
- 1:23:42Speaker 3: to college, you leave a socialist.
- 1:23:43Speaker 2: We'll be back.
- 1:23:49Speaker 3: Okay, so how did we get to a point where
- 1:23:52Speaker 3: America was so divided? Again, I argue it started with
- 1:23:55Speaker 3: Barack Obama. Hat tip, this was on the tip sheet
- 1:23:59Speaker 3: on And forgive me, guys, I'm going to be going
- 1:24:02Speaker 3: back and forth here, 888-971-SAGE, 888-971-SAGE. I'm going to try
- 1:24:07Speaker 3: to make sense of the madness that's going on in
- 1:24:09Speaker 3: my head right now and try to tie it all together.
- 1:24:13Speaker 3: How do we get to a point? If you say
- 1:24:18Speaker 3: illegals should not be allowed into the United States so
- 1:24:22Speaker 3: that I have to bust my butt to pay for
- 1:24:25Speaker 3: their welfare benefits, you're a racist.
- 1:24:28Speaker 2: How did we get there? How did we get to
- 1:24:31Speaker 2: a point.
- 1:24:33Speaker 3: Where if you say a certified penis owner should not
- 1:24:37Speaker 3: be playing in the WNB or in women's spaces, you're
- 1:24:44Speaker 3: somehow a sexist? How did we get here? How did
- 1:24:50Speaker 3: we get to the point where if you achieve the
- 1:24:55Speaker 3: American dream, you're demonized? Because I felt like we were
- 1:25:02Speaker 3: at a place where you were like, you know what?
- 1:25:05Speaker 3: You saw somebody. I look up to a lot of
- 1:25:08Speaker 3: guys in radio. I look up to a lot of
- 1:25:10Speaker 3: guys right here on the Salem News Channel, on the
- 1:25:12Speaker 3: Salem Radio Network. And I'm like, I want to be there.
- 1:25:16Speaker 3: I want to be there. I look up to them.
- 1:25:20Speaker 3: I look up to Larry Elder. I looked up to
- 1:25:23Speaker 3: Dennis Prager.
- 1:25:24Speaker 2: Still do.
- 1:25:27Speaker 3: Mike Gallagher. The whole crew. Hugh Hewitt, these people have
- 1:25:34Speaker 3: achieved the American dream. That's what I want.
- 1:25:40Speaker 2: Why should I take their success if I.
- 1:25:42Speaker 3: Can try to work to achieve it? That makes no
- 1:25:46Speaker 3: sense to me whatsoever. That's envy.
- 1:25:49Speaker 2: That's greed. How did we get here?
- 1:25:56Speaker 3: Record share students approve of using violence to silence people.
- 1:25:59Speaker 2: How did we get here? More than half of U.S.
- 1:26:01Speaker 3: College students say controversial speakers should be banned from their
- 1:26:05Speaker 3: countries from their campuses, excuse me, with a record high
- 1:26:08Speaker 3: number adding that violence is acceptable to stop them. This,
- 1:26:12Speaker 3: according to a disturbing study, the results provide a dangerous
- 1:26:16Speaker 3: and sobering picture of cancel culture on U.S. campuses, according
- 1:26:20Speaker 3: to the expansive six-year study of almost 300,000 college undergraduates
- 1:26:26Speaker 3: nationwide by the Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression. The
- 1:26:31Speaker 3: atmosphere isn't just cautious, it's hostile. Students continue to show
- 1:26:41Speaker 3: low tolerance for controversial speakers and troublingly more believe it's
- 1:26:46Speaker 3: acceptable to shout down a speaker, block access to events,
- 1:26:50Speaker 3: or even resort to violence to silence campus speech more
- 1:26:54Speaker 3: than ever before. How do you get to a point
- 1:26:57Speaker 3: that a young godly man like Charlie Kirk, who goes
- 1:27:03Speaker 3: on college campuses.
- 1:27:07Speaker 2: For dialogue, Where dialogue is assassinated.
- 1:27:16Speaker 3: I'm not putting that on Barack Obama. But I got
- 1:27:20Speaker 3: to tell you, I believe that the divisiveness started with him.
- 1:27:23Speaker 3: There's no doubt that China's playing a role. TikTok and
- 1:27:27Speaker 3: all this nonsense. Social media. There's no doubt that's playing
- 1:27:31Speaker 3: a role. Colleges are too. Back to this post-millennial story.
- 1:27:36Speaker 3: The Trump administration has introduced.
- 1:27:38Speaker 2: A new rule that will.
- 1:27:40Speaker 3: Cut off federal loans for college students looking to earn
- 1:27:42Speaker 3: degrees that do not pay well in the job market.
- 1:27:45Speaker 4: Good.
- 1:27:46Speaker 3: Good. The new rule was finalized this month by the
- 1:27:50Speaker 3: Department of Education. It boils down to a simple test.
- 1:27:53Speaker 3: Do you earn more after graduating from college with your
- 1:27:58Speaker 3: degree than if you had never gone in the first place? Guys,
- 1:28:02Speaker 3: not everybody needs to go to college. I'm not knocking
- 1:28:05Speaker 3: college if you want to go. Some people should go. STEM, obviously,
- 1:28:08Speaker 3: you should go. Science, technology, engineering, math. Okay, fine.
- 1:28:16Speaker 2: That's not everybody. That's not everybody.
- 1:28:20Speaker 3: Maybe there are other degrees or whatever that I'm not mentioning. Remember,
- 1:28:23Speaker 3: I'm a two-time dropout. But there's a lot of trades
- 1:28:28Speaker 3: out there that people can do. A lot of people
- 1:28:31Speaker 3: with entrepreneurial spirit. Maybe it's time to take the jump.
- 1:28:37Speaker 3: The move expands the gainful employment rule. and if college
- 1:28:40Speaker 3: programs cannot clear that bar, then the program loses access
- 1:28:43Speaker 3: to federal student loans and Pell Grants. Degrees in the humanities,
- 1:28:47Speaker 3: social work, and the arts are set to be hit
- 1:28:50Speaker 3: hardest by the rule change. Yeah. Frankly, that's where I
- 1:28:55Speaker 3: think you get That's where I think you get young
- 1:28:59Speaker 3: ladies like the lady that played a part in this
- 1:29:02Speaker 3: Cornell 7 orgy, if you will.
- 1:29:05Speaker 2: Excuse my language.
- 1:29:09Speaker 3: You get into these colleges and universities and they teach
- 1:29:11Speaker 3: you a lie. They teach you that men can be women,
- 1:29:14Speaker 3: women can be men, or they teach you that men
- 1:29:17Speaker 3: and women are virtually the same and we're not.
- 1:29:20Speaker 2: We're built differently. They teach you that a woman can
- 1:29:24Speaker 2: sleep around.
- 1:29:26Speaker 3: I understand. It's a double standard. It's a double standard, though,
- 1:29:31Speaker 3: because men and women think differently. Men can go out
- 1:29:36Speaker 3: and if you're not, honestly, if you are not saved,
- 1:29:40Speaker 3: in my opinion, it's virtually impossible. I don't care how
- 1:29:45Speaker 3: nice or how good of a guy you are. It's
- 1:29:48Speaker 3: virtually impossible not to be Kind of not to be
- 1:29:52Speaker 3: a hornbog, so use my language. Where women can refrain easily.
- 1:29:59Speaker 3: So you got these lefties and these colleges teaching women,
- 1:30:03Speaker 3: you can be just like men. You can use your
- 1:30:05Speaker 3: body just like men. And then it happens, this feminist
- 1:30:10Speaker 3: movement that's supposed to have done wonders for the United
- 1:30:13Speaker 3: States of America. And it's destroying women. I really feel, listen,
- 1:30:17Speaker 3: I'll get into this Cornell 7 momentarily. I don't agree
- 1:30:22Speaker 3: with what's happening here, but I still feel sorry for
- 1:30:24Speaker 3: the girl. I feel sorry for the guys, too. Guys,
- 1:30:30Speaker 3: just a note. Never put yourself in a situation like that. Never, ever,
- 1:30:36Speaker 3: ever put yourself in a situation like that. Because now
- 1:30:39Speaker 3: you got Letitia James on the hunt. And she's going
- 1:30:42Speaker 3: to make your life a living hell, even if you
- 1:30:44Speaker 3: didn't commit a crime.
- 1:30:50Speaker 2: Why is this important?
- 1:30:51Speaker 3: You got degrees in the humanities, social work, the arts.
- 1:30:55Speaker 3: All of those being hit the hardest. Good.
- 1:30:57Speaker 2: Good.
- 1:30:58Speaker 3: Because many of these degrees aren't needed, quite frankly. The
- 1:31:02Speaker 3: rule is part of a larger effort to cut back
- 1:31:03Speaker 3: on federal spending, where there's been a national crisis of
- 1:31:06Speaker 3: student debt and loan defaults. Honestly, I think it'll cut
- 1:31:09Speaker 3: down on the crazy that we see in society. These
- 1:31:12Speaker 3: kids go to these college campuses. Again, you could be
- 1:31:15Speaker 3: the most devout conservative Christian, whatever it may be, Orthodox,
- 1:31:19Speaker 3: whatever it may be. They come out straight up leftists.
- 1:31:23Speaker 3: People that hate America. People that hate themselves because of
- 1:31:28Speaker 3: their skin color, because they're white. It's the craziest thing.
- 1:31:32Speaker 3: People that feel emboldened because they're black. I don't care
- 1:31:35Speaker 3: what color you are. You aren't any better than any
- 1:31:39Speaker 3: of God's creations. It's just crazy. It also serves as
- 1:31:46Speaker 3: a way to make sure the graduates can actually earn
- 1:31:48Speaker 3: an income instead of ending up in debt to underwater
- 1:31:51Speaker 3: student loans that they can't afford. This according to the
- 1:31:54Speaker 3: LA Times. Data for standards set by the Department of
- 1:31:57Speaker 3: Education surrounding this rule haven't been determined yet, but they
- 1:32:01Speaker 3: say only about 3% of advanced degree programs, non-profit and
- 1:32:05Speaker 3: public schools are expected to fail the rule test. However, 33%
- 1:32:12Speaker 3: programs at for-profit colleges are expected not to.
- 1:32:16Speaker 2: Clear that bar.
- 1:32:17Speaker 3: Good. Man, the Minnesota Senate race is a real fight.
- 1:32:31Speaker 3: Michelle Tafoya is doing a bank of job closing the
- 1:32:34Speaker 3: gap there. Make sure you guys support Michelle Tafoya for
- 1:32:37Speaker 3: that race.
- 1:32:38Speaker 2: We need to take that seat. I know it's it's.
- 1:32:41Speaker 3: Kind of been a blue state basically for God knows
- 1:32:44Speaker 3: how long. I forget when it was that Tim Pawlenty
- 1:32:47Speaker 3: was the governor, but it's been quite some time there.
- 1:32:50Speaker 3: But you have the opportunity to send a sensible response.
- 1:32:53Speaker 3: A sensible senator to to the United States Senate or
- 1:32:58Speaker 3: a sensible person. And Michelle Tafoya to the United States Senate.
- 1:33:01Speaker 3: That's actually going to fight for the best for the best.
- 1:33:06Speaker 3: You know, fight for Minnesotans.
- 1:33:08Speaker 4: All right.
- 1:33:08Speaker 2: Fight for better education.
- 1:33:10Speaker 3: Make sure there's not all this fraud going on or
- 1:33:13Speaker 3: stealing from you guys. So support Michelle Tafoya. I've been
- 1:33:16Speaker 3: talking about division. Where is it coming from? Here's another thing.
- 1:33:19Speaker 3: And I'm talking about the things that Trump is being.
- 1:33:22Speaker 3: I think not necessarily that he's doing it to remedy
- 1:33:25Speaker 3: the division, but it will help the division. I believe
- 1:33:27Speaker 3: too many people. Too many young people that have gone
- 1:33:30Speaker 3: to college have gotten brainwashed. Their parents send them off.
- 1:33:33Speaker 3: They work their butts off. They make they they ended
- 1:33:36Speaker 3: up they end up making a great living because they
- 1:33:38Speaker 3: got a great education, whatever it was. They take their
- 1:33:41Speaker 3: kids to church. They, you know, have this great family life,
- 1:33:44Speaker 3: traditional family. They send them to college. And then the
- 1:33:47Speaker 3: next thing you know, their kids hate their parents. They
- 1:33:50Speaker 3: hate church.
- 1:33:51Speaker 2: They hate God.
- 1:33:53Speaker 3: I saw this happen in my own family within a semester,
- 1:33:57Speaker 3: within a semester. Absolutely insane. So how do you get
- 1:34:08Speaker 3: rid of some of the crazies on the left? You
- 1:34:11Speaker 3: make them pay for college. You make these institutions pay.
- 1:34:14Speaker 3: Here's some remedies, some ideas that I came up with.
- 1:34:19Speaker 3: If you want to lower the price of college or
- 1:34:24Speaker 3: if you want to make sure that college is ever
- 1:34:26Speaker 3: worth going to or make sure that these colleges only
- 1:34:29Speaker 3: graduate or offer degrees that are worth something, you force
- 1:34:33Speaker 3: colleges to use their own endowments to pay for worthless degrees.
- 1:34:37Speaker 2: You know what will happen?
- 1:34:39Speaker 3: Overnight. overnight they will get rid of some of these
- 1:34:42Speaker 3: sociology departments and humanities departments.
- 1:34:45Speaker 2: You privatize student loans.
- 1:34:47Speaker 3: It was Barack Obama that destroyed the private student loan program.
- 1:34:53Speaker 3: So everybody and their mama could get a degree, even
- 1:34:58Speaker 3: if they're dumb as a box of rocks. You and
- 1:35:00Speaker 3: I both know. We've seen people, we've talked to people,
- 1:35:04Speaker 3: they've gone to college and you're like, how the.
- 1:35:07Speaker 2: H-E double hockey sticks did you pass.
- 1:35:09Speaker 3: The fourth grade, let alone college? High school counselors have
- 1:35:16Speaker 3: to start explaining return of investment before kids enter college
- 1:35:22Speaker 3: in the first place and tell more kids to take
- 1:35:25Speaker 3: up trades, learn to save and invest. And you can
- 1:35:28Speaker 3: do okay. But this is divisiveness. The reason why I
- 1:35:37Speaker 3: hate this with a passion. I hate what Barack Obama did.
- 1:35:43Speaker 3: I hate what the left is doing now. I absolutely
- 1:35:48Speaker 3: hate it with a passion. Because we've got real enemies.
- 1:35:54Speaker 3: I want to go to a cut. Go to a
- 1:35:56Speaker 3: couple of cuts here. I've been slow on them. Man,
- 1:35:59Speaker 3: in time is flying. I promise I'll get to Cornell 7.
- 1:36:02Speaker 3: Cut number 19. This may seem like an oldie but goodie,
- 1:36:05Speaker 3: but I want to make a point. Cut number 19.
- 1:36:08Speaker 8: Well, I'm just disappointed that they caught terrorists. They did
- 1:36:11Speaker 8: a good job, and then they sort of let them go.
- 1:36:14Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 1:36:15Speaker 8: How do you give bail to a terrorist? So I
- 1:36:18Speaker 8: don't know.
- 1:36:19Speaker 3: Was this a longstanding investigation?
- 1:36:21Speaker 4: A longstanding, yeah.
- 1:36:22Speaker 8: We were involved in it. But as you know, your
- 1:36:25Speaker 8: fellow countrymen, they let them go. Well, they didn't let
- 1:36:28Speaker 8: them go. They put them out on bail. I assume
- 1:36:31Speaker 8: they have them watched closely. But these were serious people. Seriously,
- 1:36:34Speaker 8: bad people. And they should not have done that.
- 1:36:40Speaker 2: You know why that is so dumb?
- 1:36:42Speaker 3: And from what I understand, I forgive me because I
- 1:36:45Speaker 3: read this earlier and I already forget. But I believe
- 1:36:48Speaker 3: they went ahead and arrested, ended up arresting those people
- 1:36:52Speaker 3: and putting them behind bars or at least some. Anyway,
- 1:36:55Speaker 3: I've got a double I got a double check here,
- 1:36:57Speaker 3: but forgive me for that. The reason why that's so important,
- 1:37:01Speaker 3: that video is so important, it seems like this is
- 1:37:04Speaker 3: just your average everyday video of Trump. We have real enemies.
- 1:37:10Speaker 3: We have real enemies. You have people here in the
- 1:37:14Speaker 3: United States. Sadly, this is happening on the right as well.
- 1:37:18Speaker 3: Anti-Semitic or want to divide people by the color of
- 1:37:21Speaker 3: their skin, want to divide, you know, identity politics, want
- 1:37:25Speaker 3: to divide people.
- 1:37:26Speaker 2: By class warfare.
- 1:37:28Speaker 3: You have the left that was extremely racist towards whites.
- 1:37:32Speaker 3: And now you have whites on the right that are
- 1:37:33Speaker 3: willing to be racist towards others.
- 1:37:36Speaker 2: And God is going to judge them all.
- 1:37:40Speaker 3: It's insane.
- 1:37:42Speaker 2: It is absolutely insane.
- 1:37:45Speaker 3: But I mention all of this stuff because this is
- 1:37:49Speaker 3: the United States of America. United we stand, divided we fall.
- 1:37:54Speaker 3: We've got real enemies out there.
- 1:37:56Speaker 2: We'll be back.
- 1:38:11Speaker 3: All right. Welcome back to the program. I'm your guest host,
- 1:38:14Speaker 3: Carl Jackson, sitting in for the great Elderski. It's been
- 1:38:18Speaker 3: an honor and a privilege to do so. He'll be
- 1:38:20Speaker 3: back with you on Monday.
- 1:38:22Speaker 2: So you have that to look forward to.
- 1:38:25Speaker 3: We've been talking about the division that exists inside of
- 1:38:28Speaker 3: the United States.
- 1:38:29Speaker 2: I think you can help together. cure it. I think
- 1:38:31Speaker 2: President Trump is doing some things.
- 1:38:32Speaker 3: To help cure it. I know people would argue the opposite,
- 1:38:37Speaker 3: and that's fine. But again, I think I laid out
- 1:38:40Speaker 3: the evidence when it comes to the this stuff really
- 1:38:43Speaker 3: started with the Obama administration. I really felt like we
- 1:38:46Speaker 3: were past a lot of this identity politics and class
- 1:38:49Speaker 3: warfare until he made it a point to make it
- 1:38:53Speaker 3: an issue to radicalize the government, to turn the government.
- 1:38:56Speaker 3: He wanted single payer, single payer health care. He wanted
- 1:39:02Speaker 3: big government policies. You know, Bill Clinton was famous for
- 1:39:06Speaker 3: saying amongst he was famous.
- 1:39:08Speaker 2: For a lot of things.
- 1:39:08Speaker 3: But one thing he said, the era of big government
- 1:39:13Speaker 3: is over. And Barack Obama totally turned that around in
- 1:39:16Speaker 3: order to turn that around where people didn't get along.
- 1:39:19Speaker 2: He had to vilify Republicans.
- 1:39:20Speaker 3: And he did.
- 1:39:21Speaker 2: He did just that. I can't stand it.
- 1:39:24Speaker 3: I can't stand the divisiveness that exists inside of the
- 1:39:26Speaker 3: United States of America, and it simply doesn't have to be.
- 1:39:29Speaker 3: And I think one of the things, and I hope
- 1:39:31Speaker 3: it doesn't take that, is a major attack like 9-11
- 1:39:34Speaker 3: that occurred. Once that attack occurred here, so many people
- 1:39:39Speaker 3: were brought together in harmony, in unity. Because we were
- 1:39:44Speaker 3: all one. We were all American at that time. I
- 1:39:46Speaker 3: pray to God that it doesn't take something like that
- 1:39:51Speaker 3: to bring us together. But I am concerned about it.
- 1:39:54Speaker 3: I do have some good news that I want to share.
- 1:39:58Speaker 3: And then I'll go to the calls. Nancy, I see
- 1:40:00Speaker 3: you out there. I'll get to you momentarily here. There
- 1:40:03Speaker 3: is some good news. AOC's influence hits a brick wall. This,
- 1:40:07Speaker 3: according to Red State, this is a big deal, in
- 1:40:10Speaker 3: my opinion. So you've got AOC got major pushback from
- 1:40:14Speaker 3: swing state Democrats in the run up to the 2026 midterm.
- 1:40:18Speaker 3: So she was good for the primary. Now they're saying, no,
- 1:40:20Speaker 3: we don't want you kind of the Hassan Piker treatment. Guys,
- 1:40:23Speaker 3: I think this is a good sign. Her polls aren't
- 1:40:25Speaker 3: looking as good as they were. And listen, it's way early.
- 1:40:28Speaker 3: Things can change radically in a day in politics, let
- 1:40:31Speaker 3: alone in a.
- 1:40:32Speaker 2: Couple of years.
- 1:40:33Speaker 3: But obviously, she's jockeying to become to run for president
- 1:40:37Speaker 3: or perhaps the perhaps the Senate. If all else fails,
- 1:40:41Speaker 3: she's been testing the waters. This was according to Axios
- 1:40:46Speaker 3: earlier earlier in the week. But it's not a good
- 1:40:49Speaker 3: sign for her that you actually have candidates that are saying, ah,
- 1:40:53Speaker 3: stay away from stay away from me.
- 1:40:55Speaker 2: Stay away from me here.
- 1:40:56Speaker 5: So.
- 1:40:58Speaker 3: Axios wrote about this and why it matters that they
- 1:41:00Speaker 3: continue the snubs. They could hurt AOC standing as a
- 1:41:03Speaker 3: potential contender in the twenty twenty eight Democratic presidential primary
- 1:41:07Speaker 3: when many voters will prioritize electability.
- 1:41:11Speaker 2: I think this is a good sign.
- 1:41:12Speaker 3: I think more people wake up to who the DSA
- 1:41:16Speaker 3: are and the AOCs of the world and the Mamdani's.
- 1:41:19Speaker 3: The more they hear about policies that they want, then
- 1:41:24Speaker 3: then people don't want them. And again, you have Democrats
- 1:41:27Speaker 3: that are running for office that are now telling AOC
- 1:41:31Speaker 3: to stay away from their race. They were good with
- 1:41:34Speaker 3: her in the primary. I did a podcast on this,
- 1:41:37Speaker 3: so you can check out the podcast, The Carl Jackson
- 1:41:40Speaker 3: Show on YouTube, Salem Podcast Network, wherever you go to
- 1:41:43Speaker 3: get your podcast, where I break that down with great
- 1:41:48Speaker 3: detail and specificity.
- 1:41:49Speaker 2: Just don't have time to do it right now, but.
- 1:41:53Speaker 3: But the overarching point I wanted to make is that, guys,
- 1:41:57Speaker 3: we got to be united. The DSA isn't trying to
- 1:42:00Speaker 3: unite us. They're not trying to make us. They're not
- 1:42:02Speaker 3: trying to make life more affordable for you.
- 1:42:04Speaker 2: It's not happening.
- 1:42:05Speaker 3: Just real quick, let me opine. on this Cornell seven situation, uh,
- 1:42:10Speaker 3: because it's really, it's a really bad thing. Honestly, I
- 1:42:14Speaker 3: think on both ends, I think the girl made some
- 1:42:16Speaker 3: horrible choices. Uh, she, I guess she went to college police, uh, when, uh,
- 1:42:23Speaker 3: when this thing occurred, but it was out of embarrassment.
- 1:42:26Speaker 3: She never at the time, uh, mentioned that the guys
- 1:42:30Speaker 3: had raped her, that it was a gang rape. And
- 1:42:33Speaker 3: so come to find out, I didn't realize this, this
- 1:42:36Speaker 3: was live streamed. basically an orgy with some frat boys,
- 1:42:43Speaker 3: and just a really dumb mistake, frankly, on her part,
- 1:42:47Speaker 3: a really dumb mistake on their part, and they're all
- 1:42:50Speaker 3: going to pay the price for it because they made
- 1:42:52Speaker 3: really dumb decisions, every single one of them. Let me
- 1:42:55Speaker 3: take you to a house party that I went to
- 1:42:58Speaker 3: when I was a young buck. I remember... I went
- 1:43:02Speaker 3: to this house party with a bunch of my guy friends. And,
- 1:43:09Speaker 3: you know, you know, when you're young, acting tough and
- 1:43:12Speaker 3: stuff like that, kind of scoping out the room and,
- 1:43:14Speaker 3: you know, seeing who else is in there. If there's
- 1:43:16Speaker 3: another group of guys, you know, God forbid you, you know,
- 1:43:21Speaker 3: you don't want any trouble. So you try to look tough,
- 1:43:23Speaker 3: you know, all that kind of stuff. So I'm just
- 1:43:25Speaker 3: chilling on the wall with my with my buddies, walk
- 1:43:28Speaker 3: into this room or walk into this house, a house party,
- 1:43:31Speaker 3: a bunch of teenagers walking. dark and all that kind
- 1:43:34Speaker 3: of smoke and teenagers smoking weed the whole nine all
- 1:43:36Speaker 3: right this was bc guys this was before christ all
- 1:43:39Speaker 3: right so the whole nine i mean the house just
- 1:43:42Speaker 3: looked like a i mean good lord smoke everywhere uh
- 1:43:44Speaker 3: booze everywhere underage and then i remember seeing a girl
- 1:43:52Speaker 3: that i knew from the local high school that had
- 1:43:56Speaker 3: been nice to me that had given me rides before
- 1:44:01Speaker 3: because i didn't have a car i was broke as
- 1:44:02Speaker 3: a joke All right. Giving me rides before with some
- 1:44:07Speaker 3: of my other other buddies. And just a real nice, sweet,
- 1:44:12Speaker 3: sweet girl, young little white girl. Just cool as could
- 1:44:16Speaker 3: be fun as could be. She happened to be at
- 1:44:18Speaker 3: this party. And I saw her and I could just
- 1:44:22Speaker 3: see in her face she was drunk as a skunk.
- 1:44:24Speaker 2: I could see it.
- 1:44:25Speaker 3: And I was kind of like kind of disappointed, to
- 1:44:28Speaker 3: be honest. And then I remember this dude just. Mac
- 1:44:33Speaker 3: and I just got just got a real bad feeling.
- 1:44:36Speaker 3: And this dude was just all up in her face
- 1:44:38Speaker 3: and she was giggling and stuff like that. And then
- 1:44:41Speaker 3: and if I recall correctly, she was sipping on booze.
- 1:44:44Speaker 3: He was to smoke and all this stuff. And then
- 1:44:47Speaker 3: I saw her saw him started started taking her, walking
- 1:44:51Speaker 3: her to this room. Walking her to this room, obviously,
- 1:44:54Speaker 3: was a bedroom. And then close the door. I had
- 1:44:58Speaker 3: a decision to make right there.
- 1:45:00Speaker 2: I knew that girl.
- 1:45:01Speaker 3: Weren't best of friends, but I knew that girl. So
- 1:45:04Speaker 3: I walked straight in that room. He had already laid
- 1:45:07Speaker 3: her out on the bed. Thank God her clothes were
- 1:45:09Speaker 3: still on. I just picked her up and I took
- 1:45:11Speaker 3: her out. And I looked at him like, what?
- 1:45:13Speaker 5: What?
- 1:45:14Speaker 3: What you gonna do? She was, her life, God knows
- 1:45:19Speaker 3: what would have happened. All right, we can figure out
- 1:45:21Speaker 3: what would have happened in that room. But God knows
- 1:45:24Speaker 3: the long-term ramifications that it would have had. What's disappointing
- 1:45:28Speaker 3: about this story to me It's not just that the
- 1:45:32Speaker 3: girl thought she could act like a man and frankly
- 1:45:35Speaker 3: be slutty. But there wasn't one dude that stood up
- 1:45:39Speaker 3: and said, nah, man, this is wrong. So they're all
- 1:45:42Speaker 3: going to get what they get.
- 1:45:44Speaker 1: Yes, it don't mean a thing if it ain't got
- 1:45:49Speaker 1: that swing.
- 1:46:00Speaker 3: All right. Let's go to the lines real quick. Welcome
- 1:46:03Speaker 3: back to the Larry Elder Show. I am Carl Jackson
- 1:46:05Speaker 3: sitting in. Let's go to Nancy. Nancy is calling from Philadelphia.
- 1:46:10Speaker 2: Hello, Nancy. You got the mic.
- 1:46:12Speaker 9: Hi, Carl. You know, I'm your number one fan.
- 1:46:15Speaker 4: You made a comment earlier that there's nobody on the
- 1:46:19Speaker 4: Democrat Party who can step in, you know, and push
- 1:46:23Speaker 4: aside these Democratic Socialist Communists.
- 1:46:26Speaker 9: OK. And you said maybe the only exception is that. Oh, no, no, no, no, Carl.
- 1:46:31Speaker 9: Who's the person who still wants to be president for
- 1:46:34Speaker 9: her whole life? You know, because it's all about we
- 1:46:36Speaker 9: have to have a woman president. Oh, that would be Hillary.
- 1:46:40Speaker 9: She's going to step forward to the rescue Hillary because
- 1:46:44Speaker 9: she's for women.
- 1:46:45Speaker 3: She'll get all women.
- 1:46:46Speaker 9: She'll say, you know, Bill and I, we've always been moderate,
- 1:46:50Speaker 9: middle of the road people. And guess what? Fetterman can
- 1:46:52Speaker 9: be her running mate because all the Jews who were
- 1:46:55Speaker 9: frightened to death of all the Islamist terrorists. They're like,
- 1:46:58Speaker 9: we like Fetterman because he says nice things about Israel. OK,
- 1:47:01Speaker 9: why is Hillary's second daughter, Huma Abedin, got married in
- 1:47:07Speaker 9: a political marriage of convenience to Alex Soros? Cancel the
- 1:47:11Speaker 9: money for Hillary's campaign. OK, pay attention and stay tuned
- 1:47:15Speaker 9: for some good October surprises.
- 1:47:19Speaker 2: I love it. I love it.
- 1:47:21Speaker 3: Appreciate the call. I will I will say this. That
- 1:47:24Speaker 3: makes lots of sense to me. I don't think Hillary
- 1:47:28Speaker 3: would do it because of her because of her age
- 1:47:31Speaker 3: at this point. But I got to say, I think
- 1:47:35Speaker 3: people are looking for a Hillary. It would make sense
- 1:47:37Speaker 3: if she were a little younger. I think she probably would.
- 1:47:42Speaker 3: But it was obvious to me with the just the
- 1:47:45Speaker 3: rigors of the campaign when she was trying to run
- 1:47:47Speaker 3: against Trump or when she ran against Trump. I just
- 1:47:50Speaker 3: don't think she could handle the rigors of the campaign
- 1:47:53Speaker 3: at this point in time.
- 1:47:54Speaker 2: But that makes total sense. And I think she could.
- 1:47:58Speaker 3: Probably pull it, pull it off, at least becoming the
- 1:48:02Speaker 3: Democrat nominee. I just if if if there were earlier times,
- 1:48:08Speaker 3: I just they definitely need somebody like that to step
- 1:48:11Speaker 3: up and be the adult in the room. But it
- 1:48:14Speaker 3: is a great– that's a good call. That's a good call.
- 1:48:17Speaker 3: I don't– I see I see exactly where you mean,
- 1:48:20Speaker 3: what you mean there. All right. So I wanted to
- 1:48:23Speaker 3: talk about crazy chicks. I mentioned the Cornell, the Cornell seven.
- 1:48:27Speaker 3: And honestly, listen, this is, This is just my opinion
- 1:48:31Speaker 3: based upon what I've read thus far. I think the
- 1:48:35Speaker 3: young lady got extremely embarrassed as word started to spread
- 1:48:39Speaker 3: around the college campus that she had slept with so
- 1:48:43Speaker 3: many guys and you got so many young. This is
- 1:48:45Speaker 3: what I hate. This is what I hate about the
- 1:48:47Speaker 3: feminist movement. and what ladies will teach other ladies. It's not,
- 1:48:51Speaker 3: I'm sorry, men and women aren't built the same. Our
- 1:48:53Speaker 3: psyches aren't the same. Our sexual appetite is not the same.
- 1:48:58Speaker 2: We're different. We're different.
- 1:49:00Speaker 3: And trying to pretend otherwise is going to get people
- 1:49:05Speaker 3: in trouble, is going to get people hurt. And honestly,
- 1:49:08Speaker 3: like I said, I can say that The same for
- 1:49:11Speaker 3: the frat guys. Man, you're going into a situation like that,
- 1:49:15Speaker 3: you're asking for trouble, especially post-MeToo movement. So all of
- 1:49:20Speaker 3: these people are going to learn some very bad lessons
- 1:49:25Speaker 3: or some hard lessons, I should say. Until next time,
- 1:49:27Speaker 3: don't grow weary doing good.
- 1:49:28Speaker 2: God bless you.
- 1:49:40Speaker 3: The top.
