- 0:00Speaker 1: Now the Mark Simone Show on seven ten woor filling
- 0:05Speaker 1: in for Mark. Here's Ken Rosada. Oh so good to
- 0:08Speaker 1: be with you. It is a Friday, isn't that nice?
- 0:11Speaker 1: I said this last time I was here too, and
- 0:13Speaker 1: just to I think it bears reminding everybody. Mark has
- 0:16Speaker 1: to deal with everybody Monday through Thursday. You know, Monday,
- 0:19Speaker 1: everybody's are like God, it's Monday, Tuesday. They're tired from
- 0:23Speaker 1: Monday Wednesday. There halfway through the week. They can't wait Thursday.
- 0:26Speaker 1: There's some anticipation. Then Uncle Ken comes in on Friday,
- 0:30Speaker 1: kind of like the grandpa who gets the baby after
- 0:32Speaker 1: mommy and Daddy has changed the diaper, and I get
- 0:34Speaker 1: to play with everybody and have a good time. So
- 0:36Speaker 1: I thank you to the Great Mark Simone and to
- 0:39Speaker 1: the good folks at iHeartRadio in War for letting me
- 0:42Speaker 1: come in. It is an honor to sit in the
- 0:44Speaker 1: seat of the person who I regard as one of
- 0:47Speaker 1: my heroes. I listen to this show every single day,
- 0:51Speaker 1: so I am one of you all. I am one
- 0:53Speaker 1: of the big fans of the Great Mark Simone. Anyway,
- 0:56Speaker 1: it is good to be here for those who are wondering.
- 0:58Speaker 1: I know that named Ken Rosotta from I used to
- 1:01Speaker 1: work at Channel seven. I was with Eyewitness News there
- 1:04Speaker 1: for twenty years. Very proud to be there. I'm not
- 1:08Speaker 1: there anymore, but I used to be. I was there
- 1:11Speaker 1: from what two thousand and three to twenty twenty three.
- 1:14Speaker 1: I did the morning show, and for a good chunk
- 1:16Speaker 1: of that time, I also anchored the noon show, and
- 1:19Speaker 1: I was with the great Lori Stokes and remember Bill Evans,
- 1:21Speaker 1: all those great folks. We did that. A lot of
- 1:24Speaker 1: good times there and then I was even a Channel
- 1:27Speaker 1: five before that. These days, I host a daily show
- 1:29Speaker 1: on a New Jersey based news channel called on New Jersey.
- 1:33Speaker 1: We hope you check us out sometime. You can stream
- 1:36Speaker 1: it ANYWHERENNJ dot comnenj dot com on New Jersey. I
- 1:42Speaker 1: also run a food website for all you foodies. It's
- 1:45Speaker 1: called Thefooddude dot Us. Thefooddude dot Us lots of free
- 1:51Speaker 1: recipes there, so check that out too. A lot to
- 1:53Speaker 1: talk about on this busy newsweek. My gosh, did a
- 1:57Speaker 1: lot happened this week? One of the things I read
- 2:00Speaker 1: which drives me crazy because I am a big coffee
- 2:04Speaker 1: hal like, I don't have any other vices all right.
- 2:06Speaker 1: I've never done a drug in my life, an illegal one,
- 2:08Speaker 1: at least I've never done one. I don't smoke cigarettes.
- 2:11Speaker 1: I don't even drink alcohol because I have a heart issue.
- 2:15Speaker 1: I have atrial fibrillation, so I'm not supposed to drink alcohol.
- 2:18Speaker 1: So you know, I admit, you're not supposed to drink
- 2:21Speaker 1: caffeine either with atrial fibrillation. But I do just a little. Now.
- 2:25Speaker 1: There's a survey here, a study actually, that says it's
- 2:28Speaker 1: never been a better time to quit caffeine. And this
- 2:31Speaker 1: I believe was in the New York Times that says
- 2:35Speaker 1: the cafes across the US are embracing the low and
- 2:37Speaker 1: no caffeine lifestyle with options that are a far cry
- 2:41Speaker 1: from dusty tea bags and rewarmed cafe. Well, yeah, I
- 2:45Speaker 1: will say that that's true. You go to a lot
- 2:47Speaker 1: of places and they have the machas and all these
- 2:49Speaker 1: other things. Just double check to make sure that the
- 2:52Speaker 1: calorie count isn't through the roof. All these coffee places
- 2:57Speaker 1: or traditional coffee places, if you haven't noticed, are now
- 3:00Speaker 1: offering all these alternatives to coffee teas and different mixed
- 3:04Speaker 1: drinks and flavor drinks. But if you read the fine print.
- 3:07Speaker 1: A lot of these things are like six hundred galleries
- 3:09Speaker 1: apiece and a lot of sugars in there, So you
- 3:12Speaker 1: may not get caffeine, but you got a lot of
- 3:14Speaker 1: other stuff. But this study goes on to say how
- 3:17Speaker 1: it's better for you to try to wean yourself off
- 3:20Speaker 1: of caffeine, and this is the time to do it.
- 3:24Speaker 1: I don't know, what do you think about it? Eight
- 3:26Speaker 1: hundred three to two one zero seven ten. Eight hundred three
- 3:30Speaker 1: to two one zero seven ten. You gotta have some
- 3:32Speaker 1: kind of ice in life, right, Why not a little caffeine?
- 3:35Speaker 1: The Clintons, Yes, Hillary and Bill. After Congress released tens
- 3:40Speaker 1: of thousands of documents related to Jeffrey Epstein, House Oversite
- 3:45Speaker 1: chair James Comer more in that former President Bill Clinton
- 3:49Speaker 1: and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton could face legal
- 3:51Speaker 1: repercussions because apparently they didn't want to go and testify
- 3:56Speaker 1: in front of Congress. And remember what happened when buy
- 4:00Speaker 1: and was president and some of the former Trump people
- 4:02Speaker 1: didn't testify. Yeah, they had FBI agents with CNN Live
- 4:07Speaker 1: knocking down their doors, raiding their homes, going through their
- 4:10Speaker 1: personal items, and arresting them. Let's see if the same
- 4:14Speaker 1: thing happens the other way, if there is the double
- 4:17Speaker 1: standard or not. Because if you're called to testify before
- 4:20Speaker 1: Congress and you evade that, good luck with that. So
- 4:23Speaker 1: this is in connection with Epstein. You know, before we
- 4:27Speaker 1: found out that that Trump had zero connection now with Epstein,
- 4:31Speaker 1: and before all the files were released, et cetera, all
- 4:34Speaker 1: we heard for about a week or two from the
- 4:36Speaker 1: Democrats was release the files, release the files, trip us
- 4:40Speaker 1: something to hide. Well, now that everything's released, have you
- 4:43Speaker 1: heard anything about Epstein? Cricket? Cricket, cricket? That's the Democrats? Now,
- 4:49Speaker 1: why Because now we're finding out there a lot of
- 4:52Speaker 1: connections on the left with Epstein. We kind of knew
- 4:54Speaker 1: that all along. Listen, here's proof of the pudden for
- 4:58Speaker 1: the four years that Biden was in charge of everything.
- 5:01Speaker 1: Do you think for a second, when they had full
- 5:04Speaker 1: charge of all the Epstein files, if there was anything
- 5:08Speaker 1: in there that was derogatory toward Trump? Don't you think
- 5:11Speaker 1: during that four year period that's all you would have heard,
- 5:14Speaker 1: Especially when Trump announced he was running for election again,
- 5:17Speaker 1: that would have been the first thing that was brought out.
- 5:20Speaker 1: But no, you didn't hear anything then, and they had
- 5:22Speaker 1: access themselves to everything. So that's why now you're not
- 5:26Speaker 1: hearing anything. Why because people like the Clintons are being
- 5:29Speaker 1: called and look, we're innocent till proven guilty. So I
- 5:32Speaker 1: want to make sure I say that clearly. But the
- 5:35Speaker 1: fact that we have all these Democrats now going to
- 5:37Speaker 1: be hauled before Congress to be talked to, you know,
- 5:40Speaker 1: let's see, let's see if they get the same treatment
- 5:42Speaker 1: that Steve Bannon got or that Peter Navarro got. Remember
- 5:46Speaker 1: they had their doors knocked down in the middle of
- 5:48Speaker 1: the night, curious to see what happens. Seven ten wore
- 5:53Speaker 1: the Voice of New York. This is Ken Rozotto, Inframark
- 5:56Speaker 1: on your Friday. The Supreme Court has allowed Texas to
- 6:00Speaker 1: use their redistricting map that was challenged initially as racially discriminatory.
- 6:05Speaker 1: So the Supreme Court yesterday gave the green light to
- 6:07Speaker 1: Texas's efforts to use that new congressional map. Here's what
- 6:11Speaker 1: I find interesting. When the folks in Texas, rather they
- 6:18Speaker 1: duly voted in with their state House and state Senate
- 6:22Speaker 1: a new districting map in the state right, you had
- 6:27Speaker 1: people on the left screaming, bloody murder. California does so
- 6:32Speaker 1: specifically to eliminate any ability for people on the right
- 6:36Speaker 1: to have a say. So. Now, out of like forty
- 6:39Speaker 1: five Congress seats or fifty Congress seats in California, with
- 6:43Speaker 1: the redistricting, Republicans will be lucky to have maybe three
- 6:46Speaker 1: or four, and they represent forty to forty five percent
- 6:49Speaker 1: of the state's electorate. They're not going to have any
- 6:51Speaker 1: say yet. Have you heard anybody challenging California not a word?
- 6:56Speaker 1: Not a word. And the districting that they had before,
- 6:59Speaker 1: the re district thing that just happened was voted in
- 7:02Speaker 1: by the state. The people actually voted it in by
- 7:05Speaker 1: popular referendum, and it got overturned with another popular referendum.
- 7:09Speaker 1: But the point is it wasn't that it wasn't like
- 7:13Speaker 1: executive fiat that created the district before or the districts.
- 7:17Speaker 1: It was a popular referendum. You didn't hear a word
- 7:20Speaker 1: when it got overturned. Why because more Democrat districts were
- 7:24Speaker 1: being formed. But now you have a predominantly red state. Texas.
- 7:30Speaker 1: They did it with the state legislature through a means
- 7:34Speaker 1: that they can do so legally, and it legally passed
- 7:37Speaker 1: redistricting plan and it may give the Republicans three, four
- 7:41Speaker 1: or five more seats, but it may not. Yeah, the
- 7:44Speaker 1: people still have to say they get to vote, so
- 7:47Speaker 1: it may or may not give a few more seats
- 7:48Speaker 1: to the Republicans. But yet, of course Texas gets challenged. Well,
- 7:52Speaker 1: the Supreme Court rightfully so said shut up, sit down,
- 7:56Speaker 1: stay in your lane. I'm just talking to Fox News
- 7:59Speaker 1: legal consultant Greg Jarrett a little while ago, and we
- 8:03Speaker 1: talked about these US Circuit Court and district judges not
- 8:06Speaker 1: staying in their lanes. And they literally are just like
- 8:08Speaker 1: pebbles under or in your shoe. Rather you step down,
- 8:12Speaker 1: you feel that little pebble. They're annoying. They slow things
- 8:16Speaker 1: down for a few weeks, and then it gets fast
- 8:18Speaker 1: tracked to the US Supreme Court and overturned. But at
- 8:20Speaker 1: some point, I think the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court,
- 8:23Speaker 1: Justice Roberts, needs to tell the US district judges, hey,
- 8:27Speaker 1: stay in your lane, mind your business, stop doing this.
- 8:29Speaker 1: We're going to keep slapping you. Seven ten w R.
- 8:33Speaker 1: The Voice of New York. Apparently, the Afghan terrorist who
- 8:38Speaker 1: was arrested just miles from DC came in under Biden.
- 8:42Speaker 1: His name is John shah Safi allegedly he was an
- 8:47Speaker 1: unvetted Afghan national who provided support to the Islamic State
- 8:51Speaker 1: of Iraq and Syria Korasan isis K as it is known.
- 8:55Speaker 1: He allegedly also provided weapons to his father, who's a
- 8:58Speaker 1: commander of a militia group in Afghanistan. So this is
- 9:02Speaker 1: a potential national security mess. And again because this is
- 9:06Speaker 1: from the Department of hall Land Security, by the way
- 9:08Speaker 1: this memo is put out, it'd be interesting to see
- 9:11Speaker 1: if anything gets done with that, if they get investigated,
- 9:13Speaker 1: they being the former officials with the Biden administration. But
- 9:17Speaker 1: once again another example illustrating what happened when we had
- 9:20Speaker 1: an open borders policy. No, we're not talking about oh Dan,
- 9:24Speaker 1: you are anti Hispanic. Well, I don't think that name
- 9:27Speaker 1: is Hispanic. Doesn't sound Hispanic to me. Yan Shah Safi
- 9:32Speaker 1: is not exactly Hispanic. So we're talking about people who
- 9:34Speaker 1: from every country on the planet just happened to use
- 9:38Speaker 1: Mexico to come through because the border between the US
- 9:42Speaker 1: and Mexico was wide open, so anybody from anywhere, including
- 9:46Speaker 1: remember the Chinese nationals were streaming in by San Diego
- 9:49Speaker 1: the border with San Diego and Mexico. So people came
- 9:53Speaker 1: from all over the world because the Biden administration wanted
- 9:57Speaker 1: them to. They put out the memo to the universe,
- 10:00Speaker 1: come on in, here's your big chance. You come in.
- 10:02Speaker 1: Even if we catch you in air quotes, we'll let
- 10:05Speaker 1: you go and you could get lost in the US
- 10:08Speaker 1: and become a citizen eventually and nobody will care. And
- 10:11Speaker 1: that's exactly what happened. Now we have the mess that
- 10:13Speaker 1: we have. Even if out of the ten to fifteen
- 10:15Speaker 1: or twenty million people who were here illegally, you might
- 10:18Speaker 1: have three four five thousand bad guys and all the
- 10:21Speaker 1: rest might be the nicest people in the world. The
- 10:23Speaker 1: problem is now you don't know because nobody got vetted.
- 10:28Speaker 1: And how do you even vet somebody who comes from
- 10:30Speaker 1: a country that is not our friend? They're not going
- 10:33Speaker 1: to volunteer that. Oh, you guys got some of the
- 10:36Speaker 1: bad guys we let out of prison. No, I don't
- 10:38Speaker 1: think Venezuela is going to do that. For instance, seven
- 10:41Speaker 1: ten wor the Voice of New York give us a call.
- 10:44Speaker 1: Eight hundred three two one zero seven ten eight hundred
- 10:48Speaker 1: three to two one zero seven ten. This is Ken
- 10:50Speaker 1: Rosatto Win on the Mark Simone Show. On your Friday,
- 10:53Speaker 1: eleven seventeen. By the way, in terms of weather, any
- 10:56Speaker 1: morning sun is going to cloud over a little bit later.
- 10:58Speaker 1: It's going to be very, very very cold today. Highs
- 11:02Speaker 1: only in the upper twenties. This is really the day
- 11:05Speaker 1: to wear hat, gloves, et cetera. Tomorrow and Sunday more
- 11:09Speaker 1: clouds than sun. Highs only in the upper thirties. So
- 11:12Speaker 1: the cold is here and we're still only in fall,
- 11:14Speaker 1: not winter. So seven ten wor the Voice of New
- 11:18Speaker 1: York check this out. There have been flashes of light
- 11:22Speaker 1: on the Moon suggesting there might be somebody up there
- 11:26Speaker 1: doing work and we don't know about it. So there
- 11:29Speaker 1: have been experts looking into this. You can go on
- 11:31Speaker 1: go on x or YouTube and see it just you know,
- 11:33Speaker 1: or do a Google search flashes of light on the
- 11:36Speaker 1: Moon and you'll see the video I'm talking about. It
- 11:39Speaker 1: looks like a reflector of some sort. Now some have
- 11:42Speaker 1: suggested maybe it's just a shiny piece of rock and
- 11:45Speaker 1: the sun was hitting it at a certain point. But
- 11:47Speaker 1: then someone else pointed out, no, this is on the
- 11:49Speaker 1: dark side of the moon. It couldn't be sun. How
- 11:51Speaker 1: did this happen? So it's going to be kind of
- 11:54Speaker 1: interesting to see if we do any further research. For
- 11:56Speaker 1: all we know, it could be US doing something top
- 11:58Speaker 1: secret up there, or it could any one of the
- 12:02Speaker 1: other countries who may have sent something up there. But
- 12:04Speaker 1: I would think if somebody sent a ship to the Moon,
- 12:08Speaker 1: we would know about it, right or at least I
- 12:09Speaker 1: hope we do. But according to NASA, what does it
- 12:14Speaker 1: say here? It says this was originally captured by an
- 12:17Speaker 1: astronomer in Japan who caught these bright flashes back on
- 12:21Speaker 1: October thirtieth, revealing a large round dot briefly illuminating the
- 12:26Speaker 1: Moon's surface before disappearing. It was two flashes. They were
- 12:30Speaker 1: two days apart, so that's interesting. One of them lasted
- 12:33Speaker 1: a few seconds. So check it out. Go online see
- 12:36Speaker 1: what I'm talking about it. It's kind of creepy. Wonder
- 12:39Speaker 1: if maybe somebody's up there living and just fail to
- 12:42Speaker 1: tell us. Sevin wor also a NASA and the ESA
- 12:46Speaker 1: that's the European Space Agency have declared that this lifeless comet,
- 12:51Speaker 1: that's what they keep calling it, that is headed our
- 12:54Speaker 1: way apparently keeps giving some kind of a heartbeat, like
- 13:00Speaker 1: as it's spinning. You know, a comet not only goes
- 13:03Speaker 1: forward but also spins. It's like imagine an Earth spinning
- 13:06Speaker 1: that's also moving forward. And the white stuff you see
- 13:09Speaker 1: coming off is for the most part vapor and dust
- 13:13Speaker 1: that comes off as the comet is moving forward. Well,
- 13:16Speaker 1: apparently the comet appears to be giving off what looks
- 13:19Speaker 1: like a heart beat, and some experts are saying, well,
- 13:23Speaker 1: that's just because it's spinning, and as it spins, you
- 13:25Speaker 1: see this heartbeat, but it's beating at a strange rhythm,
- 13:29Speaker 1: like it's not beating boom boom boom, it's beating boom
- 13:33Speaker 1: boom like our heart boom boom. Well, how does that happen?
- 13:37Speaker 1: So this has been a weird comet headed our way.
- 13:40Speaker 1: We caught it about under a year ago as it
- 13:43Speaker 1: started heading our way, and it's still headed toward Earth,
- 13:46Speaker 1: although the experts say it's not going to come that close,
- 13:49Speaker 1: but from an astronomical point of view, it is pretty close.
- 13:53Speaker 1: So we'll see what happens with that. And then finally,
- 13:55Speaker 1: have you heard about this? Being that it's Christmas time
- 13:58Speaker 1: in the city. Jackie Vernon, the voice of Frosty the Snowman,
- 14:02Speaker 1: Well he must have been a jolly happy soul prior
- 14:06Speaker 1: to getting married to his last wife here Hazel Sawyer
- 14:09Speaker 1: because according to a son. His son David, said that
- 14:15Speaker 1: in a podcast recently, the dad had apparently several families,
- 14:19Speaker 1: at least three before he married his present wife and
- 14:22Speaker 1: never told anybody. So imagine, I mean, I think about
- 14:25Speaker 1: how exhausting that is. One family's enough. Imagine having three
- 14:28Speaker 1: secret families, never telling anybody about any of the families.
- 14:31Speaker 1: Of course, this was the day before cell phones and
- 14:34Speaker 1: the internet and rumors like that. But next time you
- 14:37Speaker 1: hear Frosty the Snowman's voice, think about that hop happy,
- 14:41Speaker 1: jolly soul and the life that he led, Jackie Vernon
- 14:45Speaker 1: and that, according to his son David, all right seven
- 14:47Speaker 1: to ten wor the Voice of New York, we'd love
- 14:50Speaker 1: to hear what you have to say and what's going
- 14:52Speaker 1: on in your holiday season? Are you all prepared for
- 14:54Speaker 1: the holidays yet, because I haven't even started. We'd love
- 14:57Speaker 1: to hear where you are in the whole scheme of things.
- 15:00Speaker 1: Eight hundred three to two one zero seven ten. Eight
- 15:02Speaker 1: hundred three two one zero seven ten. Coming up just
- 15:05Speaker 1: a little bit, we'll speak with healthy living expert Paul
- 15:08Speaker 1: Fulford about the overuse of weight loss drugs seven ten
- 15:13Speaker 1: wr to eleven twenty. We're coming right back with your calls.
