- 0:00Speaker 1: Three things you need to know.
- 0:02Speaker 2: Let's go good morning friends, six o'clock on the DOT
- 0:05Speaker 2: on this Thursday morning.
- 0:06Speaker 3: Ricky Sanchez has those three things.
- 0:07Speaker 4: The conclave is currently underway, which means that the cardinals
- 0:10Speaker 4: are inside the Cystine Chapel. They're ready to work on
- 0:13Speaker 4: picking a new pope. They did that all day yesterday.
- 0:16Speaker 4: As of now, reports are saying that Cardinals Pietro Perilyn
- 0:20Speaker 4: and Louis Antonio Gackam Taggle are considered front runners for
- 0:24Speaker 4: the next pope. They use smoke signals to announce the
- 0:27Speaker 4: outcome of the papal conclave Cardinals castor vost in secret.
- 0:31Speaker 5: It's an entirely secretive thing that they do.
- 0:34Speaker 4: They block themselves off from everybody inside the Cystine Chapel.
- 0:38Speaker 4: The ballots are burned in special stoves with chemicals to
- 0:42Speaker 4: produce smoke. So black smoke indicates that no consensus has
- 0:45Speaker 4: been reached. When you see it coming out of the
- 0:47Speaker 4: chimney outside of it, white smoke signifies that there has
- 0:50Speaker 4: been a successful election to a new pope. Yesterday there
- 0:53Speaker 4: was black smoke coming from the chimney, so that means
- 0:56Speaker 4: that the people that they had voted for had not
- 1:00Speaker 4: gotten the proper amount of votes in order to become
- 1:03Speaker 4: the next Pope. I'll keep you updated on that as
- 1:05Speaker 4: more and more unfolds. Lego is releasing a new black
- 1:09Speaker 4: Dahlia set inspired by the Netflix show Wednesday.
- 1:12Speaker 5: This is super cool.
- 1:13Speaker 4: So the set includes a black dahlia plant has leaves
- 1:16Speaker 4: and bright purple buds in a vase that resembles a
- 1:19Speaker 4: mini conservatory. Once you build it, you can remove the
- 1:22Speaker 4: flower to unlock the vase and reveal a classroom that's
- 1:25Speaker 4: inside with removable desks. There's two mini dollars of Wednesday
- 1:29Speaker 4: Adams A Professor Marilynd Thornhill. The official three hundred and
- 1:33Speaker 4: fifty eight piece Lego set is going to be released
- 1:35Speaker 4: August first, which is just in time for the next season,
- 1:39Speaker 4: which part one comes out August sixth of Wednesday, So
- 1:42Speaker 4: you can make your little Lego set while you watch
- 1:45Speaker 4: I Kind Of Love That IDEA.
- 1:46Speaker 5: Franklin Cocktail Festival is happening June seventh.
- 1:49Speaker 4: It's an evening of cocktails happening at west Haven Lake
- 1:52Speaker 4: from five to eight pm. Tickets include ten sample sized
- 1:55Speaker 4: cocktails and access to.
- 1:57Speaker 5: All areas of the event.
- 1:58Speaker 4: There are vipn party tickets that are still available to purchase. Obviously,
- 2:03Speaker 4: you know me, You know I love a good cocktail fest,
- 2:06Speaker 4: so I had to throw that in there. And uh,
- 2:08Speaker 4: like I said, happening June seventh, Franklin Cocktail Festival.
- 2:11Speaker 5: I'm Ricky Sanchez and those are the three things you
- 2:13Speaker 5: need to know.
- 2:13Speaker 2: Thank you for that, Ricky, appreciate it, and thank you
- 2:15Speaker 2: for being here starting your day with us all week.
- 2:17Speaker 2: For the first caller of the day, we have tickets
- 2:19Speaker 2: to see Rob Thomas of Matchbox twenty.

- 2:25Speaker 2: and we've got those for you about six fifteen.

- 2:29Speaker 3: on the River.
- 2:29Speaker 1: Ricky, Zach and Mano in the morning, Meemi and.
- 2:32Speaker 4: Clark's good morning, welcome to one oh seven five the River.
- 2:36Speaker 5: How's your morning going so far? Good?
- 2:37Speaker 6: Pretty good, Jamie. When you're getting ready in the morning,
- 2:40Speaker 6: do you have to wear a matching socks? So do
- 2:41Speaker 6: you not care?
- 2:43Speaker 1: They?
- 2:44Speaker 6: Okay, good, we can.
- 2:45Speaker 3: Sell me for it.
- 2:46Speaker 5: Okay, you'r's not matching?
- 2:47Speaker 6: The spots out.
- 2:48Speaker 2: They have to be there are plenty of people out
- 2:49Speaker 2: there that do the mismatch socks thing, though, and I'll
- 2:51Speaker 2: never understand that.
- 2:52Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 2:52Speaker 5: I used to, really yeah, for a very long time.
- 2:55Speaker 4: I used to just throw all my socks in one
- 2:56Speaker 4: box and then pull out whatever was clean.
- 2:58Speaker 3: A level of chaos. I can't.
- 3:01Speaker 7: I have a little OTP. I can't do that.
- 3:03Speaker 5: I understand. My middle name is chaos, though, so I
- 3:06Speaker 5: just kind of roll with it.
- 3:07Speaker 3: That's facts.
- 3:09Speaker 4: I thought it was Morgan Jamie. Thank you so much
- 3:13Speaker 4: for hanging out with us. You are the first caller
- 3:16Speaker 4: of the day this morning on one of seven five
- 3:17Speaker 4: the River.
- 3:18Speaker 6: My husband's gonna be.
- 3:19Speaker 7: Very excited about this.
- 3:20Speaker 3: I'm good. That's great. How old your husband?
- 3:23Speaker 6: Oh?
- 3:24Speaker 7: Drop his age?
- 3:26Speaker 5: Okay?
- 3:26Speaker 4: So Kevin's asking that because the tickets are going to
- 3:29Speaker 4: see Rob Thomas or Matchbox twenty and Zach and I
- 3:32Speaker 4: have been kind of making fun of him a little
- 3:34Speaker 4: bit about the age groups of who really you know
- 3:38Speaker 4: thrived during the Matchbox twenty era.
- 3:40Speaker 2: I love Rob Thomas, our boss John and love Drops.
- 3:43Speaker 3: We're both forty one years old.
- 3:45Speaker 7: I love Rob Thomas. I'll tell you my age. I'm
- 3:47Speaker 7: thirty nine.
- 3:48Speaker 3: Okay, perfect, you're right there. With which makes sense.
- 3:50Speaker 5: Yeah, with the age group.
- 3:53Speaker 4: Jamie, we hope that you and your husband both have
- 3:55Speaker 4: so much fun of the concert.
- 3:57Speaker 5: Enjoy.
- 3:57Speaker 4: Thank you for hanging out with us again. We appreciate
- 3:59Speaker 4: you so much.
- 4:00Speaker 7: Thank you so much.
- 4:01Speaker 2: We're gonna put you on a hole to get your info.
- 4:03Speaker 2: But drive safe out there and have a great day, Jamie.
- 4:07Speaker 3: All right.
- 4:08Speaker 4: I also make fun of you guys, but I did
- 4:09Speaker 4: love Matchbox twenty as well.
- 4:11Speaker 3: You still love Matchbox I do.
- 4:12Speaker 4: It's the way that you guys talk about it though,
- 4:14Speaker 4: as if it was like your heyday. That's what really
- 4:18Speaker 4: makes me nostalgia the good old days.
- 4:22Speaker 3: We've got more tomorrow.
- 4:25Speaker 8: Ricky Zach and Meno Morning.
- 4:27Speaker 5: White the day Yesterday as a whole.
- 4:29Speaker 4: It's Ricky Zachamano in the morning on one O seven
- 4:31Speaker 4: five of the River. We got to partner with both
- 4:35Speaker 4: Joe Jonas and a local cafe here, Cafe Baboo.
- 4:38Speaker 3: Yeah, that place is great.
- 4:39Speaker 6: It's so cool to do.
- 4:40Speaker 5: Like the craziest thing ever.
- 4:42Speaker 4: He's been doing these pop ups in certain areas around
- 4:45Speaker 4: the country where you know, it's a cup of Joe
- 4:47Speaker 4: with Joe and he performs for everybody.
- 4:50Speaker 2: Yeah, not just Joe Jonas and the newest member of
- 4:54Speaker 2: his band, Ricky Sanchez.
- 4:55Speaker 3: Yes, that was.
- 4:58Speaker 5: Entirely by accident. So here's the thing.
- 5:00Speaker 4: The entire place was haagged out. Okay, there were so
- 5:04Speaker 4: many people there. There were people who came at four
- 5:06Speaker 4: point thirty in the morning to make sure that they
- 5:09Speaker 4: got a good seat and a good place for them
- 5:11Speaker 4: to actually watch and perform. There were people who came
- 5:14Speaker 4: from Chicago, from California, from all over.
- 5:17Speaker 5: The place to be there yesterday for this.
- 5:19Speaker 4: Because he's also he announced that he was gonna do
- 5:22Speaker 4: a Bluebird Cafe also last name Yeah, sold out so fast,
- 5:26Speaker 4: so this was the only other way to see the man.
- 5:28Speaker 4: It was insane. People were crowded around everywhere. Like Kevin
- 5:31Speaker 4: said prior to this break was there were people across
- 5:35Speaker 4: the street on both angles. There were people behind the
- 5:38Speaker 4: freaking cafe Baboo.
- 5:40Speaker 2: It was really felt like he was the Queen of
- 5:41Speaker 2: Angler people like holding up babies.
- 5:44Speaker 1: Like it was.
- 5:44Speaker 9: It was just wild and he was so nice, like
- 5:47Speaker 9: he was signing everything for everybody. He was taking selfies
- 5:50Speaker 9: with everyone. My favorite part of the entire day is
- 5:53Speaker 9: he got out of his car and he was walking
- 5:55Speaker 9: towards the stage and there was a Golden retriever right there,
- 5:58Speaker 9: and he got on the garden started petting the dog,
- 6:00Speaker 9: and then he walked away and the person called someone
- 6:03Speaker 9: and was like.
- 6:04Speaker 3: Mom, Joe Jonas his pet bell, now.
- 6:06Speaker 6: It's the dog's name. Like she was freaking out because
- 6:08Speaker 6: Joe Jonas had her dog.
- 6:10Speaker 3: It was so cute.
- 6:11Speaker 4: There was a very sweet moment where a little girl
- 6:13Speaker 4: started to cry because he had stopped as he was
- 6:16Speaker 4: leaving and to talk to her and hug her, and
- 6:18Speaker 4: it was really sweet. It's posted at one of seven
- 6:20Speaker 4: five of the River like you can watch it in
- 6:22Speaker 4: the stories.
- 6:22Speaker 5: Just an adorable moment.
- 6:24Speaker 4: I saw it up close and personal because there were
- 6:25Speaker 4: so many people there, and I did a quick little
- 6:28Speaker 4: interview with him prior to his performance and then introed him.
- 6:31Speaker 5: And after I introed him, I didn't have anywhere to go.
- 6:34Speaker 3: You're just landlocked. You could not get off that whole
- 6:37Speaker 3: stage and it's.
- 6:38Speaker 4: Such a tiny little area for him to perform because
- 6:41Speaker 4: there were so many people there and there was nowhere
- 6:44Speaker 4: for me to go. His bodyguard was cutting off like
- 6:46Speaker 4: where anybody could walk to, so that obviously he had
- 6:49Speaker 4: space and he wasn't being like crowded.
- 6:52Speaker 3: Was this the bodyguard who you are the size of
- 6:55Speaker 3: one of his arms?
- 6:55Speaker 1: That yet?
- 6:56Speaker 5: No different guy his actual bodyguard. But I couldn't move.
- 7:00Speaker 4: So I'm so sorry to everyone who I'm behind in
- 7:03Speaker 4: pictures and videos. I couldn't go anywhere.
- 7:08Speaker 2: I keeps it every time I open my Instagram feet
- 7:10Speaker 2: there's another outlet posting footage from this thing yesterday, and
- 7:14Speaker 2: Ricky is just right there, literally right behind you.
- 7:18Speaker 4: At first, I was like, okay, just don't move and
- 7:20Speaker 4: don't make any like sudden anything. Nobody will notice that
- 7:24Speaker 4: you're there. And then I was like, well, now I
- 7:25Speaker 4: feel awkward.
- 7:26Speaker 3: It was just so weird, right, That's.
- 7:28Speaker 4: Not how I normally am at a concert or performance.
- 7:30Speaker 4: I'm like feral at concerts. So I was like, well,
- 7:33Speaker 4: I got.
- 7:33Speaker 5: To sing and dance a little bit.
- 7:35Speaker 2: Zach and I were in the street talking like, well,
- 7:37Speaker 2: if we chop that tree down, we might be able
- 7:39Speaker 2: to see.
- 7:39Speaker 3: Yeah, meanwhile, you're on stage the old time.
- 7:43Speaker 9: We were trying to get a view and literally I
- 7:44Speaker 9: was like, just just rip the tree out.
- 7:46Speaker 5: I can't see.
- 7:48Speaker 3: It was great. It was great. It was a great interview.
- 7:50Speaker 2: Thanks again to Joe Jonas and the folks at Cafe Badly.
- 7:53Speaker 2: That place is so I would love to do more
- 7:54Speaker 2: stuff like this there in the future Cafe.
- 7:56Speaker 4: Also shout out to Ricky Manning because he's on the bio,
- 7:59Speaker 4: came out and he did a few songs before Joe
- 8:02Speaker 4: Jonas did. Him and Joe have been like communicating on
- 8:04Speaker 4: social media and stuff like that. Joe found him and
- 8:07Speaker 4: brought him out and he is phenomenal. If you've never
- 8:10Speaker 4: heard of Ricky Manning, go check him out. Well worth it.
- 8:13Speaker 4: So shout out to him too for also being so kind.
- 8:16Speaker 9: You were not there yesterday and you want to see
- 8:17Speaker 9: all of the videos. We do have a lot posted
- 8:19Speaker 9: on our Instagram. Just follow us. It's at one O,
- 8:21Speaker 9: seven and five the River. They're all up in the
- 8:23Speaker 9: Instagram story. Like the videos are so good, Like it's
- 8:26Speaker 9: so up close. I'm personal Shoe and Ricky right there
- 8:29Speaker 9: see me.
- 8:31Speaker 5: Did you look at that chick Ricky r c K.
- 8:33Speaker 5: I'm just dancing in the background to that point.
- 8:35Speaker 2: Make sure you're following us on Instagram because that's where
- 8:37Speaker 2: we announce more things like this, yea than we do
- 8:39Speaker 2: in the future.
- 8:40Speaker 5: Three days.
- 8:41Speaker 8: You need to know.
- 8:42Speaker 2: Here we go just after seven o'clock on this Thursday,
- 8:45Speaker 2: May eighth, or mayth as I like to call it.
- 8:47Speaker 2: Ricky Santes has those math May eighth, maith, It's gonna
- 8:51Speaker 2: catch on.
- 8:52Speaker 3: It's not Ricky.
- 8:54Speaker 4: What the heck is going the studio? The show has
- 8:59Speaker 4: been renewed for second season. If you haven't seen it
- 9:02Speaker 4: or heard of it, it was co created and stars
- 9:04Speaker 4: Seth Rogan as a movie executive who is elevated to
- 9:08Speaker 4: president of a fictional studio, and he quickly realizes that
- 9:11Speaker 4: he might be in over his head for this new job.
- 9:14Speaker 4: News of another season comes two weeks prior to the
- 9:17Speaker 4: season finale, which will air May twenty.
- 9:19Speaker 5: First.
- 9:20Speaker 4: You can watch season one right now on Apple TV Plus.
- 9:22Speaker 4: I know that Kevin has it added to his list.
- 9:25Speaker 3: I have it added to dimes. I see it. I
- 9:26Speaker 3: really want to see the show.
- 9:27Speaker 4: There are just so many TV shows out right now
- 9:30Speaker 4: that we can't keep up, and it stresses Kevin out
- 9:32Speaker 4: more than me.
- 9:32Speaker 5: He already looks stressed thinking about it. But it is
- 9:35Speaker 5: out now season one.
- 9:36Speaker 4: Like I said, the season finale will happen May twenty first,
- 9:40Speaker 4: Disney has revealed plans for a new theme park in
- 9:42Speaker 4: Abu Dhabi, so This is pretty cool.
- 9:45Speaker 5: New Disneyland is being built in Abu Dhabi's Yas Island.
- 9:48Speaker 5: It's going to be the most.
- 9:50Speaker 4: High tech park that they've ever had thus far, which
- 9:53Speaker 4: is crazy to think about. There's going to be a sleek,
- 9:56Speaker 4: modern castle that's going to rise from the desert. Just
- 10:00Speaker 4: wild stuff coming out here. Project is going to be
- 10:02Speaker 4: the first Disney ever in the Middle East. Obviously, this
- 10:05Speaker 4: is a huge deal for them. Disney is wild to me.
- 10:09Speaker 4: The amount of people that you know, save up for
- 10:12Speaker 4: so long to go to Disney and not only just
- 10:14Speaker 4: once but multiple times expensive, So this is probably going
- 10:18Speaker 4: to end up being the most expensive one to go to.
- 10:21Speaker 5: Start saving now.
- 10:22Speaker 4: We don't know when it's going to be built, like
- 10:24Speaker 4: the finished product is going to be available for you
- 10:27Speaker 4: to actually go to, But start saving now. If you
- 10:29Speaker 4: love Disney and you want to check out this new
- 10:31Speaker 4: Disneyland that's going to be in n Abu Dhabi. And
- 10:34Speaker 4: the entrance to Shelby Park is closed for sinkhole repairs,
- 10:37Speaker 4: pretty wild stuff. The section of Davidson Street broke off
- 10:42Speaker 4: the asphalt. It's sliding towards the Cumberland River bank that's
- 10:45Speaker 4: below it. Yeah, it's not Great so Metro Park envisions
- 10:48Speaker 4: that Davidson Street entrance is going to be closed into
- 10:51Speaker 4: late October twenty twenty five, so quite a while. Visitors
- 10:54Speaker 4: to the park have been advised to use an alternate
- 10:56Speaker 4: route up Navl Hill in order to get into the
- 11:00Speaker 4: park from the other side. So just know that if
- 11:02Speaker 4: you're going to Shelby Park you just can't get through.
- 11:05Speaker 5: The Davidson Street.
- 11:06Speaker 4: Avoid that area too, because the whole thing is blocked
- 11:09Speaker 4: off because it's going to take them, like I said,
- 11:11Speaker 4: quite a while to fix it, and you just don't
- 11:13Speaker 4: want to add to any traffic patterns that are going
- 11:15Speaker 4: to be messed up. We don't need more traffic here
- 11:17Speaker 4: in Nashville anywhere. I'm Ricky Sanchez and those are the
- 11:19Speaker 4: three things you need to know.
- 11:20Speaker 3: Thank you, Ricky.
- 11:21Speaker 2: Here's Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars jumping back into the music.
- 11:24Speaker 3: It's time for Zack's facts.
- 11:26Speaker 2: Right after the song, we are all learning together on
- 11:28Speaker 2: the River one seven five the River.
- 11:30Speaker 8: Haiky, Zach and Mano in the morning.
- 11:32Speaker 4: About time to learn something new. It's Zach's fax.
- 11:34Speaker 5: I'll want to seven five of the river.
- 11:36Speaker 9: If you had to take a guess, what would you
- 11:37Speaker 9: say it's a state beverage of Tennessee.
- 11:40Speaker 5: See beverage whiskey.
- 11:42Speaker 2: That's what I was thinking.
- 11:45Speaker 6: Oh, milk.
- 11:47Speaker 9: What apparently the state beverage of Tennessee is milk?
- 11:50Speaker 3: Okay?
- 11:50Speaker 2: Is it because hot chicken? When you eat hot stuff,
- 11:52Speaker 2: you should drink milk like on the like on hot ones.
- 11:55Speaker 9: Will go with that theory, Kevin, I hate milk. I
- 11:58Speaker 9: don't drink regular milk either. So but there's your fact.
- 12:01Speaker 5: Of the day, right, thanks, Zach.
- 12:03Speaker 3: We change it to whiskey.
- 12:05Speaker 6: Our petition, the beverage of Kevin Mano is whiskey.
- 12:08Speaker 1: One oh seven five the River Backy Zach and Meno
- 12:11Speaker 1: in the morning.
- 12:12Speaker 4: This week is a special week and one that we
- 12:14Speaker 4: love to celebrate on one oh seven five of the River.
- 12:17Speaker 4: It is small business Week. So we like to do
- 12:19Speaker 4: this every year where we have you call us six
- 12:23Speaker 4: one five seven, three seven nine, one oh seven, shout
- 12:25Speaker 4: out a local small business that you love.
- 12:27Speaker 3: We love local. I'll go first, Ladybird Taco. I knew
- 12:30Speaker 3: you were going to say that anybody.
- 12:33Speaker 4: Else Kevin needs to be sponsored by Ladybird Taco.
- 12:36Speaker 3: Yeah. I am mostly made up of Lady Bird tik.
- 12:39Speaker 5: Literally that is what your body is made up of.
- 12:41Speaker 4: So if you have a local spot that you love,
- 12:43Speaker 4: Zach and I also have a.
- 12:44Speaker 5: Few that we will tell you about. Share with the class.
- 12:46Speaker 4: Let everybody know where they need to shop, where they
- 12:48Speaker 4: need to uh spend their dollar, because it's important that
- 12:51Speaker 4: we do that here in Nashville.
- 12:52Speaker 5: We give back to our community.
- 12:54Speaker 1: One O seven five the River.
- 12:56Speaker 8: Reacky, Zach and Meno in the Morre.
- 12:57Speaker 5: This week is Small Business Week.
- 12:59Speaker 4: We love celebrating Small Business Week and we love hearing
- 13:02Speaker 4: from the community about the places that we should support.
- 13:05Speaker 4: It's Ricky Zecamano in the morning on one O seven
- 13:07Speaker 4: five the River, Harper and Hendersonville. Tell us a small
- 13:11Speaker 4: business that you love.
- 13:12Speaker 10: Moby Dickie's My Gig and Poppy's restaurant.
- 13:16Speaker 2: Moby Dickie's. Okay, you're Gigi and Poppy's restaurant. We're gonna
- 13:19Speaker 2: look it up. We're gonna go.
- 13:20Speaker 5: Thank you, Bye bye, everybody.
- 13:22Speaker 3: Go eat to Moby Dickie's.
- 13:24Speaker 2: Meghan and Franklin, good morning, welcome to the river. Shout
- 13:27Speaker 2: out that small business.
- 13:28Speaker 10: Hey, my husband and I own ground restaurant and Franklin, Tennessee.
- 13:32Speaker 2: Okay, so after you eat at Moby Dickie's go to
- 13:35Speaker 2: Brown restaurant.
- 13:37Speaker 5: What is your best thing on your menu?
- 13:39Speaker 10: So our most popular item is the four alarm burger
- 13:43Speaker 10: and it's super spicy. It has haladinos infused into the meat.
- 13:48Speaker 7: We patty our own mete.
- 13:49Speaker 10: Everything is made in Holls and you can't go wrong
- 13:52Speaker 10: with anything, but the poor alarm is definitely worth's at heck.
- 13:55Speaker 4: Yeah, Meghan, I love anything spicy. So you're speaking my
- 13:59Speaker 4: love language right now. House is watering.
- 14:01Speaker 7: Oh good?
- 14:01Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 14:02Speaker 10: Well, we have two locations in Franklin. We have one
- 14:04Speaker 10: of us brothers in Cool Springs. Know, we have another

- 16:36Speaker 7: that can't go to enterprise and pay a three hundred
- 16:38Speaker 7: and dick y'allar deposit, so we do no security checks,
- 16:42Speaker 7: no security deposits, and we take deb a cards.
- 16:44Speaker 4: I love that because it's expensive to rent a car.

- 17:14Speaker 10: Yes, mall, it's called crane works. Be surprised how how
- 17:17Speaker 10: many people need cranes each day?
- 17:20Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 17:20Speaker 2: Crane Okay, yeah, if you look at the Nashville skyline
- 17:22Speaker 2: these days, it's it's mostly cranes yet there.

- 17:49Speaker 8: So?
- 17:49Speaker 7: My husband, my husband and I store. It's actually where
- 17:52Speaker 7: I met him. Oh, but we have like retail items
- 17:56Speaker 7: and ice cream.
- 17:57Speaker 5: Okay, go in, eat ice cream and shop.
- 18:01Speaker 3: And find a husband.
- 18:02Speaker 4: Yeah we already found the husband part. But if I
- 18:05Speaker 4: can eat ice cream and shop at the same time,
- 18:07Speaker 4: that sounds like a lovely day.
- 18:09Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 18:09Speaker 7: We're located on Via Lendon Square.
- 18:12Speaker 5: Amazing. Thank you so much for calling in. I hope
- 18:14Speaker 5: people go check it out.
- 18:15Speaker 7: Yeah, thank you guys.
- 18:16Speaker 2: Again, we're having this conversation because it's Small Business Week
- 18:19Speaker 2: and we always here at the River. We're talking about,
- 18:22Speaker 2: you know, supporting local businesses. We're constantly hearing about places
- 18:24Speaker 2: going out of business, so it's good to shop local
- 18:27Speaker 2: and support them.
- 18:28Speaker 3: We've got tickets for Jesse Murph around the way with
- 18:31Speaker 3: the Game.
- 18:31Speaker 1: Of the Day, Ricky, Zach and Mano in the morning.
- 18:35Speaker 4: Been playing topical trivia all week long on one O
- 18:37Speaker 4: seven five the River for Kevin Man Who's game of
- 18:40Speaker 4: the day. You're playing for Jesse Murph tickets. She's playing
- 18:43Speaker 4: a send Amphitheater September thirteenth. You can be there, Devin

- 18:51Speaker 3: Devin rhymes with Kevin. I like you already. How you doing?
- 18:57Speaker 5: I'm doing good?
- 18:58Speaker 10: How are you all this morning?
- 19:00Speaker 5: We're doing great.
- 19:00Speaker 4: I love that Kevin's so ridiculous that he's already left
- 19:03Speaker 4: you speechless and we haven't even started.
- 19:05Speaker 5: The game yet.
- 19:06Speaker 7: Y'all make my morning every day.
- 19:09Speaker 3: Oh, thank you, thank you for saying that.
- 19:11Speaker 2: I hope you win these tickets. You got to get
- 19:13Speaker 2: two out of three of the questions.
- 19:14Speaker 3: Right to win.
- 19:15Speaker 6: Okay, sound good?
- 19:17Speaker 2: Topical trivia questions ripped from the headlines things happening in
- 19:20Speaker 2: the world around us. Devin, your game starts right now.
- 19:24Speaker 2: We were talking about this earlier today, which Jonas brother
- 19:28Speaker 2: was at the Bluebird Cafe last night?
- 19:33Speaker 10: Is it Joe?
- 19:34Speaker 5: It was Joe.
- 19:36Speaker 2: We did a thing with him earlier in the day
- 19:38Speaker 2: at Cafe Baboo was awesome, and then yes, he was
- 19:40Speaker 2: at Bluebird last night.
- 19:41Speaker 3: You get this next.
- 19:42Speaker 2: One, right, you win the tickets named two of the
- 19:45Speaker 2: eight NBA team still competing in the playoffs.
- 19:51Speaker 7: Okay, is it the Lakers.
- 19:53Speaker 3: No, they are out. So no, you did not get
- 19:54Speaker 3: that one right.
- 19:57Speaker 5: It's okay.
- 19:57Speaker 4: You still have a question left. If you get this
- 19:59Speaker 4: last one right, then you get the tickets.
- 20:01Speaker 7: Okay.
- 20:02Speaker 2: Kylie Jenner is in the news right now after finally
- 20:05Speaker 2: making her red carpet debut with What a List.
- 20:08Speaker 8: Actor Timothy.
- 20:13Speaker 2: Caa yeah, man, that was a nice uh suspense building
- 20:18Speaker 2: pause in between Timothy and Challa Bay.
- 20:22Speaker 3: That was great.
- 20:22Speaker 4: Boo.
- 20:22Speaker 7: Congratulations, Thank you.
- 20:25Speaker 5: You're so welcome to have so much fun.
- 20:27Speaker 4: You're going to see Jesse Murph at a cent ampitheater
- 20:29Speaker 4: September thirteenth.
- 20:31Speaker 5: We're so proud of you.
- 20:32Speaker 4: You made me a little nervous, but I'm hyped that
- 20:34Speaker 4: you got these tickets.
- 20:35Speaker 7: I'm so excited. My daughter is gonna love this.
- 20:37Speaker 1: Great.
- 20:37Speaker 2: Yeah, you guys are going to see Jesse wait for it, Murph.
- 20:44Speaker 5: Thank you all right.
- 20:45Speaker 3: Hang on, Thank you for listening, Thanks for starting your
- 20:47Speaker 3: day with us.
- 20:47Speaker 10: Of course, thank you.
- 20:49Speaker 8: Three things you need to know.
- 20:51Speaker 2: Okay, just after eight o'clock, Thank you so much for
- 20:53Speaker 2: starting your day with us.
- 20:54Speaker 3: Ricky's got those three things.
- 20:56Speaker 4: Next Monday is going to be a great day because
- 20:58Speaker 4: starting next Monday, the federal Trade Commission is going to
- 21:01Speaker 4: start enforcing the rule on unfair or deceptive fees for
- 21:04Speaker 4: live event tickets like concerts, so sellers must prominently display
- 21:08Speaker 4: the total price of the ticket, including all charges and fees.
- 21:11Speaker 4: They also have to have a clearly itemized list to
- 21:14Speaker 4: avoid vague terms like convenience and processing fees.
- 21:19Speaker 5: Very excited about this.
- 21:20Speaker 4: Because this is something that's been in the works for
- 21:22Speaker 4: quite a while. This is a huge deal for anybody
- 21:24Speaker 4: who obviously likes to buy tickets or anything, and hopefully
- 21:27Speaker 4: they push this out across so many other like avenues
- 21:30Speaker 4: and areas where we buy things. Because the idea of
- 21:33Speaker 4: a quote unquote convenience fee, what does that mean?
- 21:36Speaker 5: What are you using that for? Like convenience for you
- 21:40Speaker 5: or me?
- 21:40Speaker 4: What's happening here? So that all starts next Monday. Netflix
- 21:44Speaker 4: is getting a makeover and adding new features. So for
- 21:47Speaker 4: the first time in a decade, Netflix is making things
- 21:50Speaker 4: a little different. They're gonna have a fresh user interface.
- 21:53Speaker 4: A lot of it's gonna be powered by AI. It's
- 21:56Speaker 4: in order to help subscribers find shows faster and smarter,
- 21:58Speaker 4: so they're gonna use a search.
- 21:59Speaker 5: Tool and they've moved it so it's.
- 22:02Speaker 4: Not going to be where it typically is. They've moved
- 22:05Speaker 4: it from the left side of the menu to the top.
- 22:07Speaker 4: So the idea here is that you can type in
- 22:09Speaker 4: like the moods that you're feeling, and it can generate
- 22:12Speaker 4: a list of different things that you can watch. There's
- 22:15Speaker 4: also going to be new features like personalized badges, so
- 22:18Speaker 4: if you really care about shows that have won awards,
- 22:21Speaker 4: you can put that as a preference, so things will
- 22:23Speaker 4: have a badge that say Emmy Award winner.
- 22:25Speaker 5: For you if you really like specific series.
- 22:29Speaker 4: It will alert you when new seasons are going to
- 22:31Speaker 4: be coming out and are on the way, so it's
- 22:33Speaker 4: going to keep you updated about everything that you needed
- 22:35Speaker 4: to be updated on. And Netflix has debuted the ability
- 22:39Speaker 4: for viewers to choose between captions for dialogue with background
- 22:42Speaker 4: sounds or just dialogue. So all of the new features
- 22:46Speaker 4: that Netflix is rolling out, which is great. I'm happy
- 22:48Speaker 4: that they have new features considering that they keep making
- 22:50Speaker 4: it more expensive.
- 22:51Speaker 3: Right, so they better.
- 22:52Speaker 5: Keep doing new things. So this is a good news.
- 22:56Speaker 4: And the Ryman Auditorium is going to host their annual
- 22:59Speaker 4: rhymean C Community Day on Sunday, May twenty fifth, so
- 23:02Speaker 4: they're going to offer free tours, family friendly activities.
- 23:05Speaker 5: There will be food trucks there.
- 23:07Speaker 4: They will also have on site printmaking and both indoor
- 23:10Speaker 4: and outdoor performances.
- 23:11Speaker 5: It's free to go to this, which is the best
- 23:13Speaker 5: part of it.
- 23:14Speaker 4: All you have to do is enter your zip code
- 23:15Speaker 4: on their website and grab yourself some free tickets for
- 23:18Speaker 4: this for May twenty fifth. I'm Maricky Sanchez and those
- 23:21Speaker 4: are the three things you need to know.
- 23:22Speaker 8: One O seven five The River, Reicky Zach and Meno
- 23:25Speaker 8: in the Morning.
- 23:26Speaker 4: Gofund Me is used for some great things. Obviously, some
- 23:29Speaker 4: great causes end up on go fundme for people who
- 23:32Speaker 4: really need the help, but also some people use it
- 23:34Speaker 4: for some really interesting choices.
- 23:37Speaker 6: I have seen some insane things on there.
- 23:39Speaker 5: Okay, well, I have a list of some of the
- 23:41Speaker 5: most insane.
- 23:42Speaker 2: Zeck you seem like a GoFundMe guy, like, if you
- 23:44Speaker 2: want lunch one day, you're gonna start a go fund
- 23:46Speaker 2: me your something.
- 23:46Speaker 6: No, I'm just gonna send you a vino request to.
- 23:50Speaker 3: Ricky's gonna run these down some of the craziest ones.
- 23:52Speaker 2: Right after Morgan wall and on the Rivers one O
- 23:54Speaker 2: seven five The River, Reiky.
- 23:56Speaker 8: Zach, and Mano in the morning, I'm gonna go.
- 23:58Speaker 2: Ricky said that, uh, she found a list of some
- 24:00Speaker 2: of the craziest go.
- 24:01Speaker 3: Fundmes out there.
- 24:03Speaker 2: I mean there are great ones all the time, people
- 24:05Speaker 2: raising money for you know, procedures they need to have done.
- 24:08Speaker 3: Yeah, things that are very important.
- 24:10Speaker 2: But some people take advantage of GoFundMe and ask for
- 24:13Speaker 2: some insane things.
- 24:15Speaker 5: Yeah, some really wild concepts here.
- 24:18Speaker 4: Like this person who asked for twelve hundred dollars to
- 24:22Speaker 4: fix her mistake of booking the wrong plane ticket for
- 24:24Speaker 4: her bridesmaids girl.
- 24:26Speaker 3: No, I mean I feel bad for her, but no.
- 24:29Speaker 4: Like what this guy who wants to purchase Dave Grohl
- 24:33Speaker 4: for thirty five thousand dollars.
- 24:35Speaker 6: Can you just buy him like that?
- 24:36Speaker 3: I don't think so. I feel like Dave grol would
- 24:38Speaker 3: probably have.
- 24:39Speaker 4: Something to do he can, he said, You know, I
- 24:41Speaker 4: just want to hang out with Dave and high.
- 24:43Speaker 3: Five him and thirty five grand thirty.
- 24:45Speaker 5: Five thousand dollars.
- 24:46Speaker 4: A guy who said that he will die if you
- 24:50Speaker 4: don't give him money for a treadmill because running outside
- 24:52Speaker 4: in the winter is dangerous.
- 24:54Speaker 3: Well, we can't kill the man. We got a pitch him.
- 24:56Speaker 6: So yeah, I would give him like at least five bucks.
- 24:59Speaker 4: This woman who wants five hundred dollars to celebrate her
- 25:02Speaker 4: twenty fifth birthday at a music festival, insisting that she
- 25:05Speaker 4: deserves it because it's been quote a crazy twenty four
- 25:09Speaker 4: years and quote self care is a crue, is crucial,
- 25:13Speaker 4: and music is my therapy.
- 25:14Speaker 6: I mean, honestly, I would donate to that.
- 25:16Speaker 9: Like if one of my friends was like, Hey, for
- 25:18Speaker 9: my birthday, this is what I really want to do,
- 25:20Speaker 9: I would probably donate to.
- 25:21Speaker 4: As you're talking about a friend, this woman wants birthday gift.
- 25:26Speaker 5: This is a stranger.
- 25:27Speaker 4: Wants people to just pay for her to go there.
- 25:31Speaker 5: There were more hold on where did it go? Oh,
- 25:33Speaker 5: there's a stupid ad that popped up?
- 25:35Speaker 3: Oh, pop up?
- 25:36Speaker 2: As it's just so many pups. I mean there was
- 25:38Speaker 2: a part of me that's like jealous. I didn't think
- 25:40Speaker 2: of some of these first, you know, like the woman's
- 25:43Speaker 2: one people to send her to a music festival, I
- 25:45Speaker 2: don't know.
- 25:45Speaker 3: I mean, it gets out there, it spreads around the internet.
- 25:49Speaker 3: She's probably making something.
- 25:50Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean that's ridiculous.
- 25:52Speaker 4: There's also a lot of people that just want vacations,
- 25:54Speaker 4: lots of people who just want vacations, gaming systems another
- 25:58Speaker 4: big one.
- 26:00Speaker 2: You might as well put it out there. If you
- 26:01Speaker 2: want stuff, you know, I don't know what's the hard
- 26:03Speaker 2: or if you don't ask. The answer is always guys.
- 26:06Speaker 4: There's a girl who wants money so she can go
- 26:09Speaker 4: to her fifty second fish show, like the band fish
- 26:13Speaker 4: show fifty.
- 26:15Speaker 3: Second too many fish.
- 26:19Speaker 5: That's insane. So yeah, there's just a lot of crazy
- 26:22Speaker 5: people out here.
- 26:23Speaker 4: I understand what you're saying, that the idea of if
- 26:25Speaker 4: you don't ask, then no one's gonna give it to you.
- 26:27Speaker 5: Nobody should give any of this to anyone.
- 26:29Speaker 2: I mean, I agree with what you're saying, but you
- 26:32Speaker 2: are making me want to start a gofund me.
- 26:33Speaker 4: Now, please go start to go fund me for the
- 26:35Speaker 4: most ridiculous thing and see if we can raise some
- 26:37Speaker 4: money for.
- 26:37Speaker 9: If there are people out there that are willing to
- 26:39Speaker 9: just throw their harder money away, I.
- 26:41Speaker 6: Might as well be the one that sticks from it.
- 26:43Speaker 3: Yeah, so Zach, let's put our heads.
- 26:45Speaker 8: Together, Ricky, Zach and Meno in the morning.
- 26:50Speaker 3: Ricky, did you ever have like a made up language
- 26:51Speaker 3: when you were a kid?
- 26:53Speaker 4: I did for a little while with my stepsister, But
- 26:56Speaker 4: like I don't remember any of it.
- 26:58Speaker 2: I had something I called whoopy talk, but it was
- 27:01Speaker 2: really there was no words.
- 27:02Speaker 3: It was just like like some gibberish. Oh yeah, okay, why.
- 27:06Speaker 4: Does that not surprise me? Okay, well this is all
- 27:09Speaker 4: is for a reason. We're about to play you the
- 27:11Speaker 4: Daily double Tap. I want to seven five of the river.
- 27:13Speaker 4: These two moms, they have their own made up language
- 27:16Speaker 4: when they were growing up. This is how they used
- 27:18Speaker 4: to talk to each other, and they did it as
- 27:20Speaker 4: adults for their kids and just blew their mind.
- 27:22Speaker 3: It's very cool they still remember and I love that.
- 27:24Speaker 5: Here we go, gas, it's hot outside?
- 27:30Speaker 8: What?
- 27:33Speaker 4: But again again to the gam the.
- 27:38Speaker 5: When is Sam getting a pool?
- 27:41Speaker 8: I see you guys do it.
- 27:42Speaker 4: It seems we're saying because I feel like I should
- 27:47Speaker 4: know what we're saying.
- 27:48Speaker 2: I feel like there's a pattern there that I want
- 27:50Speaker 2: to I want to dissect and figure out.
- 27:51Speaker 6: You know what it's called pig Latin.
- 27:53Speaker 3: Well that wasn't pig Latin. Yes it was.
- 27:55Speaker 1: No.
