- 2:14Speaker 3: Good, I mean, not what it used to be.
- 2:16Speaker 7: No, it's not at all.
- 2:17Speaker 8: And the last time I needed something, it was like, oh,
- 2:19Speaker 8: Amazon Prime Days coming up in a couple of days.
- 2:21Speaker 3: I said, alf, Yeah, I'm just gonna order it. It'shing dumb.
- 2:25Speaker 3: It's a little earlier than usual. You know, the company
- 2:28Speaker 3: usually holds Prime Day in July. But Amazon said that
- 2:31Speaker 3: this year groceries and household items will be a big
- 2:34Speaker 3: focus for savings. Okay, yeah, on board the and they'll
- 2:38Speaker 3: have us some more details as we get closer.
- 2:40Speaker 9: I don't mean to be a conspiracy theorist, but I
- 2:42Speaker 9: think that they they inflate the prices.
- 2:45Speaker 3: Before we talked about that.
- 2:46Speaker 9: Yeah, right, But also they'll just go to like see
- 2:49Speaker 9: what Walmart's pricing it has, and they'll just do the
- 2:51Speaker 9: same thing.
- 2:52Speaker 3: Was it you that were we were talking about, Like,
- 2:54Speaker 3: there's that website you can go in. You can see
- 2:56Speaker 3: the average price on Amazon over the last three hundred
- 2:58Speaker 3: and sixty five days.
- 2:59Speaker 7: Rich on time.
- 3:00Speaker 9: Yeah, extension, Yeah, that was rich Yeah.
- 3:03Speaker 3: Yeah, because that way you can see if it really
- 3:05Speaker 3: is a deal or not.
- 3:06Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 3:07Speaker 9: One of them is an extension and one's built in.
- 3:08Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 3:09Speaker 8: Do you find yourself buying stuff on Amazon that's fun
- 3:11Speaker 8: or just useful?
- 3:14Speaker 3: Really?
- 3:14Speaker 8: Because I find myself just like Razors underwear. Yeah, you know,
- 3:20Speaker 8: no fun, Like I don't go on there to buy.
- 3:22Speaker 8: Oh I've been waiting for this new TV or whatever.
- 3:27Speaker 3: TV like that kind of stuff is something that I
- 3:28Speaker 3: still want to go out and you know, go to
- 3:30Speaker 3: like a best buy kind of place.
- 3:32Speaker 1: And sometimes yeah, because for me it's just like stuff
- 3:36Speaker 1: with the house. And then the fun stuff is TikTok shop. Yeah,
- 3:39Speaker 1: all day TikTok shop rules. Oh Sea, I bought something
- 3:43Speaker 1: that you would love on.
- 3:44Speaker 7: TikTok would be because you know you love washing your shoes.
- 3:47Speaker 7: I do. I bought this little bag that you put
- 3:50Speaker 7: your shoes.
- 3:51Speaker 1: In to wash them or just throw them in. No,
- 3:54Speaker 1: then they all like flop around. You're still going to
- 3:56Speaker 1: flop around it in a little bag.
- 3:59Speaker 7: I've seen me a washable bag.
- 4:01Speaker 3: But it hangs there like a hammock almost, so it's
- 4:04Speaker 3: not moving around in the washing or the dryer. I
- 4:07Speaker 3: think it's the dryer.
- 4:10Speaker 1: This is uh, you put it in the wash. It's
- 4:12Speaker 1: a little tiny bag. You put your shoes in it.
- 4:15Speaker 3: So why wouldn't move around?
- 4:16Speaker 7: Howl? How would the bag keep the shoes? What he says,
- 4:21Speaker 7: so is this bag? Does it have like a like
- 4:23Speaker 7: little scrubbers on the inside of it?
- 4:24Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 4:25Speaker 7: Yeah, okay, so it's designed. I guess if you if
- 4:28Speaker 7: you're afraid of them getting beaten up, which you shouldn't
- 4:31Speaker 7: be if you're throwing into the washing of shoes, if
- 4:33Speaker 7: they're in the washing machine to begin with, you're they're fine. Yeah,
- 4:36Speaker 7: but yeah, it's like a little it's like a shammy
- 4:38Speaker 7: almost chamy design bag that you zip up.
- 4:41Speaker 9: Looks like shag carpetings, right.
- 4:42Speaker 7: I mean, if if you're that worried, don't do it.
- 4:44Speaker 7: I am.
- 4:46Speaker 3: You wouldn't be putting him in the washer.
- 4:48Speaker 8: This reminds me. I've been meaning to ask you specifically
- 4:51Speaker 8: what he do for years, and I forgot. Do you
- 4:53Speaker 8: wash your baseball hats.
- 4:55Speaker 3: No, I don't. I don't either.
- 4:58Speaker 9: Never, I've never used.
- 5:00Speaker 3: I have some stuff I bought it. I bought it
- 5:02Speaker 3: a while ago. But you could spray. You could spray
- 5:05Speaker 3: the hat and that has a brush and you can
- 5:07Speaker 3: you know, so it keeps the like if from from
- 5:10Speaker 3: from getting like a sweat, you know that little a
- 5:13Speaker 3: darker color hat like I have on now it's black hat, like,
- 5:16Speaker 3: it keeps that from that like white mountain looking range
- 5:20Speaker 3: kind of bleeding right of of sweat. I've never washed mine.
- 5:26Speaker 9: I know it's gross dish wash.
- 5:30Speaker 3: It doesn't look because that's what if you get. Because
- 5:34Speaker 3: if you get those new era hats, like and you
- 5:36Speaker 3: go to you know, lids or whatever. You know how
- 5:38Speaker 3: they they form the brim, they steam them. He will
- 5:42Speaker 3: completely distorted it. Yeah, it'll completely functifyture of your of
- 5:48Speaker 3: your hands sweating.
- 5:50Speaker 7: I just tossed.
- 5:51Speaker 3: I will say.
- 5:51Speaker 7: That is one thing I noticed all the time. If
- 5:53Speaker 7: I'm ever in a group setting, like the guys who
- 5:55Speaker 7: have it's usually guys sometimes girls who have gross you know,
- 5:58Speaker 7: white shoes especially, it shows up on I'll notice it.
- 6:00Speaker 7: I think I want to walk I'm like, if they
- 6:02Speaker 7: walk away for a minute. I'll steal their shoes to
- 6:04Speaker 7: wash it the washer for them.
- 6:05Speaker 1: And it has a little stank to it when we're
- 6:08Speaker 1: talking about hats, like when you lift it up, Yeah,
- 6:10Speaker 1: and you smell the rim do that thing.
- 6:13Speaker 7: Yeah, that's something that's that's an excuse for Greg especially
- 6:16Speaker 7: like get one of those little things or or or
- 6:19Speaker 7: it's my own brand.
- 6:20Speaker 9: I don't think you're a real sweaty dude, though.
- 6:23Speaker 7: That's true. He doesn't try hard.
- 6:24Speaker 3: And you have how many hats rotate them that they
- 6:27Speaker 3: don't even get a chance to get there. It is
- 6:29Speaker 3: the same hat, really, Yeah, I mean I do have
- 6:31Speaker 3: a bunch, but like I'll wear this one till it's
- 6:33Speaker 3: like worn out. Do you think in total total hats
- 6:37Speaker 3: like fifty.
- 6:38Speaker 7: Yeah, fifty sixty something like that, A lot of them.
- 6:41Speaker 3: Like I'll have like four of these, right.
- 6:43Speaker 9: Do you have like a separate hat closet?
- 6:45Speaker 3: Uh, Like there's like a drawer.
- 6:47Speaker 7: Ah, yeah, you can take it to the dry cleaner. Yeah,
- 6:49Speaker 7: what about your hat? What about your hat for the Derby?
- 6:52Speaker 7: Do you have like a half.
- 6:55Speaker 3: Yeah? I'll get to the birth days here in a second.
- 6:56Speaker 3: Couple notes on celebrity stuff and nikky six from Motley Crue.
- 7:02Speaker 3: Tell me if you believe this. They used to inject
- 7:04Speaker 3: Jack Daniels into their veins. That was the big part
- 7:07Speaker 3: of their biography was to sell books.
- 7:10Speaker 7: Do you think they really did it?
- 7:11Speaker 3: Like one of those things that you know people say,
- 7:13Speaker 3: like some of those sex those sex moves and things
- 7:16Speaker 3: like that, like nobody really does that, you do it.
- 7:21Speaker 3: I think they tried it, but this wasn't like a
- 7:23Speaker 3: regular thing like we're party and that I We're gonna
- 7:25Speaker 3: put Jack Daniels in our veins.
- 7:27Speaker 7: I don't believe it like they probably did one time.
- 7:29Speaker 3: Didn't Ozzie like Snart ants once But it's not like
- 7:32Speaker 3: he did that all the time.
- 7:34Speaker 7: It's like his go to I think Steve O did it,
- 7:36Speaker 7: but he did it because he heard that they did
- 7:38Speaker 7: it and he wanted to see if he could do it.
- 7:40Speaker 3: Talk about try hard like like some of those like
- 7:42Speaker 3: hey man, we're rockers. Man, what I'm gonna do. I'm
- 7:46Speaker 3: gonna inject Jack Daniels in that day of it actual shot.
- 7:52Speaker 3: Let's see the situation from Jersey Shore says he's going
- 7:54Speaker 3: to run for a new Jersey governor in a few
- 7:56Speaker 3: years ready and then Tony here's the here's the way
- 8:00Speaker 3: this was written Seabath. Okay, Tony Hinchcliff's hilarious down punching
- 8:04Speaker 3: racism meant that Kevin Hart Rose got him his own
- 8:07Speaker 3: Netflix special?
- 8:10Speaker 7: Did Chelsea Handler?
- 8:11Speaker 2: Right?
- 8:11Speaker 7: Then he's been on Netflix prior to to the seems
- 8:16Speaker 7: like a lot of opinion. Also, this the whole Kevin
- 8:19Speaker 7: the the the faux outrage at the Kevin Hart Special,
- 8:21Speaker 7: as if anything that was said on there hasn't been
- 8:25Speaker 7: done for the past fifteen years on all these specials
- 8:27Speaker 7: and including all these same people are in public, right,
- 8:30Speaker 7: you know this.
- 8:30Speaker 3: Is like, oh, there so many arguments for Tony Hinchcliff
- 8:34Speaker 3: from like marginalized groups of people.
- 8:37Speaker 9: Well, because he gives them all a chance?
- 8:38Speaker 3: Does It's all under the umbrella of comedy.
- 8:42Speaker 7: So I know, I know this sounds it sounds bad
- 8:45Speaker 7: say that his whole band is black, but I've.
- 8:49Speaker 3: Got a trans friend.
- 8:50Speaker 7: Yeah, but they they've been they've been playing on his
- 8:53Speaker 7: shows for years. So if they hated it that much,
- 8:54Speaker 7: they wouldn't be there.
- 8:55Speaker 3: Yeah, exactly.
- 8:56Speaker 7: So it's a check it in and see what the
- 8:58Speaker 7: birthday has got for us?
- 9:00Speaker 3: No birthday showy.
- 9:05Speaker 4: Shivery and you know we don't do.
- 9:10Speaker 3: Birthday Greg, what guess whose birthday is today?
- 9:15Speaker 8: Is this one of these ones where I should have
- 9:17Speaker 8: taken the day off in honor of this person?
- 9:19Speaker 3: Maybe it's not. Is it Martin Gore? It is a
- 9:22Speaker 3: person who is the subject of your lust, subject of
- 9:26Speaker 3: my lust, or at one time was Oh is it
- 9:31Speaker 3: Marky Mark? It is Mark Wahlberg's birthday. He would have he.
- 9:36Speaker 8: Would he would not be a fan of my uh
- 9:39Speaker 8: having him as an object.
- 9:42Speaker 7: I like that.
- 9:43Speaker 8: And for the record, we're talking young Marky Mark.
- 9:48Speaker 3: Old Pete Wentz's birthday from follow Out Boy. He's forty seven.

- 11:43Speaker 3: Well, today is a Friday, as we have thoroughly covered.
- 11:46Speaker 3: It's June fifth, and today is national Sorry I was
- 11:52Speaker 3: on a boat day.
- 11:53Speaker 9: Okay, sorry specific.
- 11:55Speaker 7: On a boat boat all right. Some some food holidays.
- 11:59Speaker 8: National Donut Day, it seems like the pancake one where
- 12:02Speaker 8: it's four days ayer donut.
- 12:05Speaker 3: What could be International Donut Day, National Donut Day. I
- 12:09Speaker 3: know some people in here are not fans. It's also
- 12:11Speaker 3: weird to be now in June and not like holiday
- 12:14Speaker 3: time National Gingerbread Day.
- 12:16Speaker 9: This is a very strange time for that.
- 12:18Speaker 3: National Veggie Burger Day, thank you, and National Sausage roll Day.
- 12:27Speaker 3: What what's what exactly is a sausage roll? I mean
- 12:30Speaker 3: I've heard of it, but I don't know exactly what
- 12:32Speaker 3: it is.
- 12:33Speaker 7: It's basically a blanket. Yeah, yeah, you can see him
- 12:39Speaker 7: fully in golf. You see him a like as grabbing
- 12:41Speaker 7: goes around the UK. And Greg, you are correct, there's
- 12:43Speaker 7: a June and a November National Donut Day.
- 12:46Speaker 3: It just seems like it's every month.
- 12:47Speaker 7: There's also things are meaningless.
- 12:50Speaker 3: Today is also Hot air Balloon Day. Sure, I've been
- 12:54Speaker 3: in the hot.
- 12:54Speaker 7: Air ever never would never will idea.
- 12:57Speaker 3: Because it was like, I'll check it out, but now
- 12:59Speaker 3: do I need to do it?
- 13:00Speaker 10: Ever?
- 13:00Speaker 3: Again, No, were you tethered or did you actually fly around?
- 13:04Speaker 3: I've done both as a kid. There was like a
- 13:08Speaker 3: the town I grew up, and they had Founder's Day
- 13:10Speaker 3: and so they had all the fire trucks out there
- 13:12Speaker 3: and different things and food vendors and one thing they
- 13:14Speaker 3: had out there they were giving like hot air balloon rides,
- 13:16Speaker 3: but it was tethered. H That's what I would go
- 13:18Speaker 3: out and he comes like right back down. Might do that.
- 13:21Speaker 1: I found out probably like only three years ago, that
- 13:24Speaker 1: they can't.
- 13:24Speaker 7: Steer those things.
- 13:25Speaker 9: Yeah, they're very up to like what God wants to happen.
- 13:28Speaker 7: I had no idea.
- 13:29Speaker 1: I thought there was like some kind of steering, because
- 13:33Speaker 1: you know they do the whole like fire thing.
- 13:35Speaker 7: Yeah, yeah, I thought that like steered them somehow.
- 13:41Speaker 3: Yeah. There was a question. People were asking, what's something
- 13:44Speaker 3: that you've tried once and then you immediately regretted it.
- 13:48Speaker 3: Dominican Republican, Oh yeah right, yeah, I'm sure, like hot
- 13:52Speaker 3: air balloons on there. For some people like totally it
- 13:55Speaker 3: was because one of those things. I think it sounds
- 13:57Speaker 3: either either more romantic or more fun that it would be.
- 14:01Speaker 3: Like I think once you take off one're like all right,
- 14:03Speaker 3: and then you're like medicine, you're just kind of like
- 14:05Speaker 3: seamlessly just floating, Yeah, until it comes.
- 14:09Speaker 7: Down and if something if something goes wrong, it goes
- 14:11Speaker 7: real wrong.
- 14:12Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 14:13Speaker 8: I can think of one thing, like instant regret when
- 14:15Speaker 8: we did the one Chip challenge. Yeah, good god, the
- 14:20Speaker 8: one of the worst days in my life.
- 14:21Speaker 7: The other day it's it's because it's not it's not
- 14:23Speaker 7: the worst pain I've ever had in my life, but
- 14:25Speaker 7: it's the most undescribable pain.
- 14:27Speaker 3: Yes, it was medicine on the floor, tortured.
- 14:33Speaker 7: We had to put the microphone on the floor for
- 14:34Speaker 7: the next second.
- 14:35Speaker 3: He couldn't even sit up straight, like he was like
- 14:37Speaker 3: laying on the floor microphone.
- 14:39Speaker 7: And they stopped doing it because.
- 14:40Speaker 8: A kid died, right, and I would have died because
- 14:42Speaker 8: I would have jumped out our window if I could
- 14:44Speaker 8: have broken it open.
- 14:45Speaker 3: I hears some other things that people said, like, go,
- 14:47Speaker 3: what something you tried once immediately regretted. Indoor cycle class
- 14:50Speaker 3: of the gym took days for my ass to recover.
- 14:53Speaker 7: Oh, that's just it's just basic stuff.
- 14:56Speaker 3: This one said, I made a human turned out awesome,
- 14:58Speaker 3: But never again. I get that's see traveling anywhere with
- 15:03Speaker 3: extended family for a vacation.
- 15:04Speaker 9: Yeah, that's a good one.
- 15:05Speaker 7: That's fun.
- 15:07Speaker 3: Fireball whiskey. I said, this doesn't even taste This doesn't
- 15:11Speaker 3: even taste like alcohol, And then I woke up several
- 15:13Speaker 3: hours later in the grass. The sight of the bottle
- 15:17Speaker 3: still makes me mildly nauseous twelve years.
- 15:20Speaker 7: Later, because you can drink it straight.
- 15:22Speaker 3: It's rock climbing. Someone so boring. This chick said, snowboarding
- 15:29Speaker 3: is a thirty four year old on a date with
- 15:31Speaker 3: a twenty nine year old. My legs were so sore
- 15:33Speaker 3: I couldn't get up from a toilet without a walker
- 15:36Speaker 3: for weeks.
- 15:36Speaker 9: Never, snowboarding sucks, I could not agree more.
- 15:42Speaker 3: Snorkeling really fun. I feel like I'm still spitting out seawater.
- 15:49Speaker 3: This person says, turns out I'm afraid of heights. Ziplining
- 15:52Speaker 3: not for me.
- 15:53Speaker 7: Oh I loved it.
- 15:54Speaker 3: I don't think i'd do that either.
- 15:55Speaker 7: Ziplining is so boring. That was fun. I was young. Yeah,
- 15:59Speaker 7: it's like, okay, now there we go.
- 16:01Speaker 1: I did through the jungles of belize.
- 16:03Speaker 9: That costa Rica.
- 16:06Speaker 7: That's so boring.
- 16:06Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 16:07Speaker 1: But now like I see so many like things go
- 16:09Speaker 1: wrong on the internet. I'm like, I don't think I
- 16:11Speaker 1: want to do that again.
- 16:13Speaker 3: How about this one, Greg dating a politically moderate man. Yeah,
- 16:18Speaker 3: that's just code for Republican lif I need my man liberal. Yeah,
- 16:24Speaker 3: this one from a It just asked a question like,
- 16:27Speaker 3: what's something that you tried once and you immediately regretted it?
- 16:31Speaker 3: And they took that zero to politically like another one
- 16:33Speaker 3: of these losers who can't even just have it's a
- 16:35Speaker 3: fun thing.
- 16:36Speaker 8: I want to hot air balloonai as. Yeah, I don't
- 16:38Speaker 8: want to moderate. I want to date somebody who makes it.
- 16:40Speaker 2: There.
- 16:41Speaker 7: I will say, I've seen versions of that sentence one
- 16:44Speaker 7: hundred and fifty times since I've gotten back on looking
- 16:46Speaker 7: at dating apps. That's that's a very common thing. Once
- 16:51Speaker 7: never again exactly as it was phrased there. Yeah, don't
- 16:54Speaker 7: ask anybody in my life. I don't want to hear
- 16:57Speaker 7: anything from anybody unless it's absolutely one inside.
- 17:00Speaker 3: I want your ideology to be your identity.
- 17:03Speaker 9: Go it back to me.
- 17:04Speaker 7: I don't want to hear you being all pregnant. It's
- 17:05Speaker 7: funny too, because they'll have that phrase exactly like that,
- 17:08Speaker 7: and then every picture will be them at a fancy
- 17:10Speaker 7: dinner or getting you know, getting an Instagram photo.
- 17:13Speaker 3: Take it.
- 17:14Speaker 7: It's they love saying it, they don't love doing it.
- 17:16Speaker 3: Here for menace, before we go to break a couple
- 17:19Speaker 3: of today in histories for you, it was today June fifth,
- 17:23Speaker 3: seventeen fifty two that Benjamin Franklin flew a kite into
- 17:28Speaker 3: a storm to show that lightning is a form of electricity.
- 17:31Speaker 7: Who, as a legend has it He put a key
- 17:35Speaker 7: on it, right.
- 17:36Speaker 3: And it was today, Greg. In nineteen eighty one, the
- 17:39Speaker 3: first case of AIDS was reported.
- 17:42Speaker 9: So, yeah, did you say that's for Greg?
- 17:45Speaker 3: Well, yeah, because he's all bit about the AIDS history.
- 17:48Speaker 7: Yeah, I got it.
- 17:49Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm a big fan of AIDS. Some people read
- 17:52Speaker 3: up on all religions, like Greg's the one that's got
- 17:54Speaker 3: the STV. Well had the std in here, so he
- 17:57Speaker 3: just became infatuated with all things, that's true. I got
- 17:59Speaker 3: the coffee table book.
- 18:00Speaker 7: Yeah, yep.
- 18:02Speaker 3: Also Greg is also very famous for saying that he
- 18:06Speaker 3: doesn't think it's a big deal. Why because the A
- 18:08Speaker 3: stands for acquired, So if you don't want it, don't acquire,
- 18:11Speaker 3: don't acquire. It's famous for it. I mean technically it's avoidable.
- 18:16Speaker 7: And it goes like I get the first four or
- 18:18Speaker 7: five people after that, come on.
- 18:19Speaker 3: Exactly what's avoidable? Eight seven, seven forty four Wooding text
- 18:23Speaker 3: over to two to ninety seven, shoe the show and
- 18:30Speaker 3: next up on Zulus and the check and make sure yep,
- 18:33Speaker 3: it's time for news headlines. Yeah, Jinny Grad, what do
- 18:38Speaker 3: you got for us? Well?
- 18:39Speaker 9: In the Stanley Cup Finals, the Carolina Hurricanes back in
- 18:42Speaker 9: the series after beating the Vegas Golden Knights in overtime
- 18:45Speaker 9: in Game two last night. There was a scary moment
- 18:47Speaker 9: in the game in the first period when a player
- 18:49Speaker 9: for Vegas left the game after taking a puck to
- 18:52Speaker 9: the face. Happens in hockey. Game three of the series
- 18:55Speaker 9: is tomorrow. They're the only guys who can get away
- 18:57Speaker 9: with being like truly sexy with missing.
- 18:59Speaker 3: Team well, and the other thing is like you hear
- 19:01Speaker 3: about like, oh, this baseball player is going to be
- 19:04Speaker 3: out for a month because they got hang now. Yeah, like,
- 19:06Speaker 3: you know, these guys, like, dude, they're getting teeth on
- 19:10Speaker 3: the ice and getting killed out there, and they come
- 19:13Speaker 3: right back in.
- 19:14Speaker 9: Yeah, they skate right back on.
- 19:15Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 19:15Speaker 3: Like football players are pretty good. Yeah, you know, although
- 19:19Speaker 3: they've gotten softer over more recent years because there's a
- 19:22Speaker 3: lot of these uh rules. Yeah, there's more guidelines and
- 19:25Speaker 3: stuff like that.
- 19:26Speaker 8: Players will take three minutes to get stitches on their face.
- 19:31Speaker 3: They'll have like one of the wives with the hot
- 19:33Speaker 3: glue gun to put their face back together and then
- 19:36Speaker 3: just get right back out there on the ice.
- 19:38Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 19:38Speaker 1: And I'll say this about you know people back on
- 19:41Speaker 1: the w n b A. But they're going harder than
- 19:43Speaker 1: the NBA because the NBA guys, they like they they
- 19:47Speaker 1: flopped like all the time, and the girls are like
- 19:50Speaker 1: constantly poking each other in the eyes and like giving
- 19:52Speaker 1: each other bloody noses and stuff like that.
- 19:54Speaker 7: It's it's brutal.
- 19:55Speaker 3: Probably when they're going up for the dunks, right, probably
- 19:58Speaker 3: just coming driving from the lane and watch.
- 20:00Speaker 12: Game recently a lot of missed layups.
- 20:02Speaker 7: Yeah, yeah, but they at least fight.
- 20:06Speaker 9: At least in the NBA Finals, it's Game two for
- 20:10Speaker 9: the Spurs and Nicks from San Antonio and a new
- 20:13Speaker 9: federal report from the United from the United Airlines flight
- 20:16Speaker 9: that hit that truck, remember while landing Newark Airport, New Jersey. Well,
- 20:21Speaker 9: it didn't actually hit the truck. It hit a light
- 20:23Speaker 9: pole first, and then the falling light pole hit the truck.
- 20:26Speaker 7: Still kind of low, dude, Yeah, if.
- 20:28Speaker 9: You can hit a light bulb. Instigators say that the
- 20:31Speaker 9: plane was flying just well, this is Greg Stream just
- 20:34Speaker 9: fifteen feet above the highway.
- 20:36Speaker 3: That's how Greg all flights to He was fifteen feet
- 20:39Speaker 3: above the highest obstacle. What's the highest thing in your way?
- 20:42Speaker 3: Go a little bit above that.
- 20:44Speaker 9: Oh, then it clipped the light pole near the runway.
- 20:46Speaker 9: Debris from the pole then crashed into a bakery truck.
- 20:49Speaker 9: According to the NTSB's preliminary report, the pilot had been
- 20:53Speaker 9: given multiple runway changes before the landing, and wins were
- 20:56Speaker 9: gusting around thirty knots. What do we think of thirty knots?
- 20:59Speaker 3: Wouldie?
- 21:00Speaker 7: That's not great? Okay? Yeah, well.
- 21:04Speaker 3: My plane for a big jet like that, noble, I mean,
- 21:07Speaker 3: it's it's not great, but you know it's finely survived. Yeah, Like, but.
- 21:11Speaker 7: Fifteen feet what does that even mean?
- 21:13Speaker 3: What do you mean?
- 21:14Speaker 9: What would that be miles per hour?
- 21:15Speaker 3: Say close to it's like forty forty miles. It's called
- 21:20Speaker 3: it's gusty.
- 21:21Speaker 9: Well, during the final approach, they were both slow and
- 21:24Speaker 9: a little low, but didn't recognize the danger quickly enough.
- 21:26Speaker 9: The NTSB's investigation is ongoing and a final report is
- 21:30Speaker 9: expected sometime next year, but United has already issued new
- 21:33Speaker 9: guidance for pilots when it comes to avoiding excessively low approaches, like,
- 21:37Speaker 9: you know, don't.
- 21:38Speaker 3: Do that thirty four point five.
- 21:40Speaker 13: Okay, so similar, Yeah, just say that.
- 21:45Speaker 1: Off, fancy it water, you're in the sky.
- 21:51Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 21:51Speaker 9: Do you guys remember the name Karen Reid should be
- 21:54Speaker 9: pretty Yeah.
- 21:55Speaker 3: It was a documentary about Yes.
- 21:57Speaker 9: Well, it's been nearly a year since that chick, Karen
- 21:59Speaker 9: Rea was acquitted of murdering Boston Police officer John O'Keeffe,
- 22:03Speaker 9: who also having to be her boyfriend. Remember that deftly
- 22:07Speaker 9: didn't back over him at a party in the snow.
- 22:09Speaker 14: I really don't think she did.
- 22:11Speaker 15: But continue, well, neither did the jury.
- 22:17Speaker 9: Now she's followed the lawsuit against the Massachusetts State Police
- 22:20Speaker 9: and the Canton Police Department, saying she was wrongfully prosecuted
- 22:23Speaker 9: in O'Keefe's death and says he in this investigation caused
- 22:26Speaker 9: her severe emotional distress, damaged her reputation, cost her jobs,
- 22:30Speaker 9: and left her with millions of dollars in legal expenses.
- 22:32Speaker 9: I believe all of that, the lawsuit, well, not that
- 22:35Speaker 9: she did or didn't do it, just that whole thing
- 22:38Speaker 9: was Shenanigan's.
- 22:39Speaker 14: I mean, the cops were it was crazy.
- 22:41Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't care about the case at all.
- 22:42Speaker 7: My favorite.
- 22:46Speaker 3: We talked about this.
- 22:47Speaker 9: I know what you're gonna say.
- 22:47Speaker 14: So.
- 22:48Speaker 9: The lawsuit also says that the investigation was corrupt from
- 22:51Speaker 9: the start, and her legal team says that former state
- 22:53Speaker 9: trooper Michael Proctor and Canton police Sergeant Sean Good were misogynistic, racists,
- 22:58Speaker 9: anti Semitic, and homophobe, and she has all the receipts
- 23:02Speaker 9: plus The lawsuit claims evidence was ignored and mishandled, Oh
- 23:05Speaker 9: my god, I hope you're playing the clip.
- 23:06Speaker 7: I think you are.
- 23:07Speaker 3: Okay. So during the trial, they're asking questions about these
- 23:11Speaker 3: text messages going back and forth between the different you
- 23:13Speaker 3: know investigation you know team team members and uh so
- 23:18Speaker 3: this is from the court proceeding on the stand answering
- 23:22Speaker 3: questions about something in particular when it comes to this
- 23:27Speaker 3: woman Karen Reid. Here we go, she's got a leaky balloon.
- 23:29Speaker 7: Knot super explain to the jurors what a balloon? Not?
- 23:38Speaker 3: I guess you're rector, Maria.
- 23:40Speaker 16: You're aus. Yes, that's what you're referring to about Miss Reid. Yes,
- 23:46Speaker 16: and you're making fun of her because you believed at
- 23:48Speaker 16: that time that it leaked.
- 23:50Speaker 3: Yes, yes, in a court.
- 23:53Speaker 16: And when you followed that up, just to make sure
- 23:54Speaker 16: you cleared up any mistake about what you meant with leaked.
- 23:58Speaker 7: Who I'm gonna strike that you could get this in,
- 24:02Speaker 7: but do it the right ways. She said, you can
- 24:06Speaker 7: get this in, just do it the right way. Yeah,
- 24:08Speaker 7: to wear the blue knut. Yeah, you gotta say fecal matter.
- 24:12Speaker 16: Followed that up with the phrase leaks poo did not?
- 24:15Speaker 3: I did again.
- 24:17Speaker 16: Another reference to miss reads medical issues and medical conditions
- 24:21Speaker 16: correct correct, specifically focused on her penis correct.
- 24:27Speaker 1: Yes, What does that have to do with driving over
- 24:29Speaker 1: something exactly exactly?
- 24:34Speaker 14: Text message is that the police officers sending back and forth.
- 24:38Speaker 7: Possibly they didn't put it in the official report.
- 24:40Speaker 14: No, but that's I mean, it's showing that they don't
- 24:43Speaker 14: like her.
- 24:44Speaker 8: They could hate her, they could be all the things
- 24:46Speaker 8: she accuses them of being.
- 24:47Speaker 3: It doesn't mean she didn't do it, No, that's very true.
- 24:50Speaker 15: But they also I mean they took a snowblower to
- 24:53Speaker 15: the crime scene.
- 24:54Speaker 14: They collected the blood with red solo cups. They never went.
- 24:57Speaker 15: Into the house that he was lasting, not to investigate
- 25:00Speaker 15: at all. And that was also another couple who was
- 25:03Speaker 15: the guy was a police officer, and they were like, oh,
- 25:05Speaker 15: we redid the basement and painted over it, so then
- 25:08Speaker 15: everything was clear, like there was Shenanigan's for shirts.
- 25:13Speaker 3: I'm sorry, And what does it have to do with
- 25:15Speaker 3: her balloon nut?
- 25:17Speaker 8: Didn't she google how long does it take somebody to
- 25:19Speaker 8: freeze to death? Or she did some Google search that
- 25:22Speaker 8: weird stuff.
- 25:23Speaker 7: Craig, That doesn't matter. I remember. What matters here is
- 25:28Speaker 7: the cop was talking about her balloon nut. If the
- 25:32Speaker 7: glove doesn't fit, yeah, Well, two huge movies Blue doesn't Spit,
- 25:37Speaker 7: Oh my god, you must have quit.
- 25:39Speaker 9: Two huge movies are hit in the theaters today. One
- 25:42Speaker 9: is Masters of the Universe. That's why the gen xers
- 25:44Speaker 9: are going to get, you know, a reimagined version of
- 25:46Speaker 9: their core memories. Who's excited.
- 25:50Speaker 3: What do you know?
- 25:51Speaker 7: No, I'll definitely see it on streaming well.
- 25:53Speaker 9: Also today, Scary Movie six is out. The Wayne's brother's
- 25:56Speaker 9: horror movie spoof Back with cast members like Regina Hall
- 25:58Speaker 9: and Anna Faris. Another summer movie everyone's looking forward to.
- 26:02Speaker 9: Is that Christopher Nolan's Odyssey that's starring In Hathaway and
- 26:06Speaker 9: Matt Damon. And if you're planning on seeing it, you're
- 26:08Speaker 9: not alone because advanced tickets went on sale and the
- 26:10Speaker 9: demand was so high that AMC's website crashed, and that
- 26:14Speaker 9: pushed traffic over to sites like fandango and they got overwhelmed.
- 26:18Speaker 9: People ended up stuck in these virtual cues for more
- 26:21Speaker 9: than an hour before they could buy tickets. Everything eventually resumed,
- 26:24Speaker 9: But people want to see that movie.
- 26:25Speaker 3: I really do. Christopher Nolan movies you way too Heady,
- 26:29Speaker 3: way too.
- 26:30Speaker 9: Ethereal I love them, except the audios always dog ish.
- 26:35Speaker 3: It's either too hot?
- 26:37Speaker 2: Oh really?
- 26:37Speaker 16: Oh?
- 26:37Speaker 9: I love them. And finally, according to some new numbers,
- 26:42Speaker 9: Menaces is for You and seabas bot web traffic has
- 26:45Speaker 9: been overtaken, so fifty seven percent of Internet search requests
- 26:50Speaker 9: are being initiated by AI bots.
- 26:52Speaker 3: Oh that's aired yeah, so the bots have overtaken.
- 26:56Speaker 7: The search humans.
- 26:58Speaker 9: Yes, oh yeah, that's compared to forty they.
- 27:01Speaker 3: The bots haven't been overtaken.
- 27:02Speaker 9: Oh no, let me clarify, please, they're being overtaken human.
- 27:08Speaker 9: They're overtaking human traffic. So that's compared to forty two
- 27:11Speaker 9: percent coming from humans, and that's expected to affect all
- 27:14Speaker 9: kinds of online businesses.
- 27:16Speaker 1: Well, yeah, there's like, you know, there's these AI bots
- 27:19Speaker 1: that people are making like basically like virtual assistance, and
- 27:23Speaker 1: those bots have made their own Reddit pages to talk
- 27:28Speaker 1: about their users. That's not okay, We're not there go
- 27:31Speaker 1: back and forth.
- 27:32Speaker 9: Well, humans, yeah, they might browse like five websites before
- 27:35Speaker 9: making a purchase, but an AI service will browse five
- 27:39Speaker 9: thousand websites and only from online advertisers, and bots don't
- 27:43Speaker 9: click on ads. Everyone. Yeah, right, same. Everyone knew this
- 27:47Speaker 9: whole bot passing humans thing was going to happen, but
- 27:49Speaker 9: they were expected to happen later, like maybe next year.
- 27:52Speaker 9: So yeah, I don't know. How do you even stay
- 27:55Speaker 9: afloat if you're like an e commerce small business.
- 27:58Speaker 1: Well, I mean you do, say a float because this
- 28:01Speaker 1: helps you, like, because more people are gonna be going
- 28:04Speaker 1: to your website to purchase things.
- 28:06Speaker 7: How though, what do you mean like random.
- 28:10Speaker 1: You're you're talking about like if you're a website that
- 28:12Speaker 1: sells ads, Yes, okay, yeah, that part I don't know.
- 28:16Speaker 1: I mean every client that I've ever met with in
- 28:19Speaker 1: the past five years does not care about our website,
- 28:23Speaker 1: Like who cares? They just care about social media.
- 28:25Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 28:26Speaker 2: Blocks.
- 28:27Speaker 1: Again, the argument that SeaBASS and I always go to
- 28:31Speaker 1: is like, you know, people and companies are going to adapt,
- 28:36Speaker 1: They're going to figure out a way to make money.
- 28:37Speaker 3: So I can't think of the last time if I've
- 28:39Speaker 3: ever when I've been on a website, have clicked on
- 28:42Speaker 3: an ad for anything.
- 28:44Speaker 9: Well, you do it on Instagram and stuff like that.
- 28:46Speaker 3: Instagram is a video and you watch it and you
- 28:48Speaker 3: go okay. But I'm saying like, if you're on a
- 28:50Speaker 3: banner or something, if you're on some website looking at
- 28:53Speaker 3: you know how much flights are, there's there's a banner
- 28:56Speaker 3: ad or whatever. I don't think I ever not not
- 29:00Speaker 3: once clicked on.
- 29:01Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 29:02Speaker 9: It's like when you're trying to X out but you
- 29:03Speaker 9: accidentally click.
- 29:04Speaker 7: The ad, that that's the way they get you.
- 29:05Speaker 3: Sometimes it's like the only way to get to you
- 29:07Speaker 3: where you need to go is it looks like you're
- 29:09Speaker 3: gonna close the window, but it's not. It sends it
- 29:12Speaker 3: to whatever, and that's how they get you because then
- 29:14Speaker 3: they can go to the advertisement go well look home.
- 29:16Speaker 3: Many people click through, no dude, you know, everybody's trying
- 29:19Speaker 3: to close it out, trying to get to what they
- 29:21Speaker 3: needed to go to on the website they were.
- 29:22Speaker 9: Using with your fake ass X.
- 29:24Speaker 7: Yeah, your fake X.
- 29:27Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 29:27Speaker 1: What I mean with people, it's mostly you know, they
- 29:29Speaker 1: just care about your social media. And also you're podcasting,
- 29:32Speaker 1: because podcasting, you know, people don't really fast forward through them.
- 29:35Speaker 7: They'll sit through them.
- 29:36Speaker 9: Yeah, or listen to it in like double speed sometimes.
- 29:39Speaker 9: Well that's what's going on with it.
- 29:41Speaker 3: I think very much. Gina Gren. Wow, now I feel
- 29:45Speaker 3: like an idiot asking me all these questions when Immer
- 29:51Speaker 3: is not there. So you know how we were having
- 29:57Speaker 3: that discussion about there seems to be too national pancake
- 30:01Speaker 3: Days or a pancake Days. Yeah, holladays there's a couple donut days.
- 30:08Speaker 3: So I heard something interesting the history behind this first
- 30:12Speaker 3: donut Day. In nineteen seventeen, they had donuts over two
- 30:20Speaker 3: hundred and fifty Female Salvation Army volunteers. They called them
- 30:24Speaker 3: the donut lasses all right. Yeah. Oh, and they were
- 30:29Speaker 3: sent to France to you know, comfort and provide spiritual
- 30:34Speaker 3: aid and like a morale boost to the soldiers. And
- 30:38Speaker 3: so they were working in these you know, it's war
- 30:40Speaker 3: torn buildings near the front lines, and they didn't have
- 30:43Speaker 3: proper baking equipment, so greg they used empty wine bottles
- 30:47Speaker 3: as rolling pins. They cut dough with tin cans, and
- 30:51Speaker 3: they fried up some donuts and they were giving donuts
- 30:54Speaker 3: out to the soldiers on the front lines that would
- 30:59Speaker 3: boot morell yeah, the donut lassies. And so National Donut
- 31:03Speaker 3: Day was established by the Salvation Army to honor these
- 31:07Speaker 3: courageous donut lassies who were serving up donut storing World
- 31:12Speaker 3: War One.
- 31:13Speaker 9: I'm back in on Donut Day, so pretty much great.
- 31:15Speaker 3: Yes, maybe the other one is just like oh, it's
- 31:18Speaker 3: you know, just to honor the actual donut. But the
- 31:23Speaker 3: other one is for donut last honoring. I wonder if
- 31:28Speaker 3: they're bland and boring. There's like yeah, but when you're
- 31:34Speaker 3: when you're in war, yeah, yeah, it's when there's free.
- 31:38Speaker 7: Pizza com can Now.
- 31:39Speaker 3: I'll take it like menace as a soldier.
- 31:43Speaker 1: Wors sugar. Just a little history. Greg donuts have been
- 31:47Speaker 1: around six since the sixteen hundreds, but they did not
- 31:50Speaker 1: introduce the hole in the donut until eighteen forty seven.
- 31:54Speaker 3: Okay, oh yeah, my favorite donut is the maple bar,
- 31:58Speaker 3: which ye ye, maple bar has been nicely represented whenever
- 32:02Speaker 3: there's donuts shown up now it's like people know the
- 32:06Speaker 3: you know menace. I look for yours.
- 32:08Speaker 7: You super popular.
- 32:11Speaker 3: I stopped by there twice over the last couple of weeks.
- 32:14Speaker 3: Have been on a donut kick of the house, like
- 32:16Speaker 3: for on the weekends, like just stopping because I'm out
- 32:20Speaker 3: running errands and I'll see it. My kids, you know,
- 32:22Speaker 3: get all you know, geeked about the doughnuts. So I'll
- 32:24Speaker 3: stop and just pick up a few donuts. But when
- 32:25Speaker 3: I've been going in there, I'm looking to go, what
- 32:27Speaker 3: do you want? I'm looking. I've not seen your chocolate
- 32:30Speaker 3: with the with the peanuts on it.
- 32:32Speaker 7: Yeah, every donuts chopping America has.
- 32:35Speaker 3: This not dude two. There's one right by my house
- 32:38Speaker 3: right at the bottom. Uh, they didn't have them. I
- 32:43Speaker 3: was just at that one most recently. And then there's another,
- 32:45Speaker 3: like a bigger one that has even the bigger selection
- 32:47Speaker 3: and stuff, and they didn't have them either.
- 32:49Speaker 7: I was looking for it.
- 32:50Speaker 1: The chopped up nuts, yeah you must be walking into I've.
- 32:53Speaker 7: Seen, but they're not like but I was surprised.
- 32:56Speaker 3: I was probably.
- 32:58Speaker 9: Well, the best one everybody knows is the buttermilk slash
- 33:01Speaker 9: Old Fashion. That's like extra.
- 33:02Speaker 3: It's like, I don't like those, but I swear I'll
- 33:07Speaker 3: eat them.
- 33:08Speaker 1: They're not my donut of choice. Is not a rare
- 33:11Speaker 1: donut at all.
- 33:13Speaker 3: The peanut one yeah yeah.
- 33:14Speaker 15: And if you go later in the day though, like
- 33:16Speaker 15: Greg's right, they'll be sold out.
- 33:18Speaker 3: All I'm saying is that the last couple of times, bet,
- 33:21Speaker 3: I just haven't seen. I looked for it. I did.
- 33:23Speaker 3: I looked for it because I like them, like they're good.
- 33:25Speaker 9: No, we heard you. You said he made them up
- 33:27Speaker 9: and they don't exist.
- 33:28Speaker 7: Oh right, yeah, I wasn't saying that.
- 33:30Speaker 3: I wasn't saying that. So that's Menas's favorite minds. The
- 33:32Speaker 3: maple bar Gregg's is the Yeah, the old.
- 33:35Speaker 7: Fashion really like the buttermilk one.
- 33:38Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm not even as Sammy.
- 33:39Speaker 7: I don't eat she does, she does, she does, just
- 33:44Speaker 7: the one thing.
- 33:45Speaker 14: We had them every Sunday growing.
- 33:47Speaker 3: Up and now that there's Fat Sammy on the scene, Yeah,
- 33:50Speaker 3: it's just going to be eating even more donuts.
- 33:51Speaker 9: What's your favorite chocolate frosted?
- 33:53Speaker 3: Chocolate frost So here we go, people are at what
- 33:56Speaker 3: is your favorite donut?
- 33:57Speaker 7: This is the normal.
- 33:57Speaker 3: By the numbers, this is the top ten. Mine's not
- 33:59Speaker 3: on it. Mine's not on it at all. Number one
- 34:03Speaker 3: is just the standard round glazed donut. That's the number one,
- 34:09Speaker 3: but they're number one. Number two rainbow sprinkles, number three,
- 34:14Speaker 3: old fashions. Yeah. Number four is the jelly donut, like
- 34:18Speaker 3: the raspberry jelly. Number five greg the apple fritter. Number
- 34:22Speaker 3: six they put donut holes munchkins, all right, yeah, well munchkins.
- 34:28Speaker 3: And the two places that I did go to they
- 34:30Speaker 3: had a ton of doughnut holes like different yeah, glazed ones,
- 34:33Speaker 3: chocolate ones, the blueberry and then the powdered the powdered
- 34:37Speaker 3: sugar chocolate frosted is it? Number seven? Crumb cake a
- 34:42Speaker 3: number eight, blueberry cake at number nine. Those are good.
- 34:45Speaker 3: I do like those blueberry ones. We see them. And
- 34:46Speaker 3: then the glazed twist or the sugar twist. It was
- 34:49Speaker 3: a tie for number ten. Powdered donuts. Those can die, yeah.
- 34:55Speaker 7: Boring drive.
- 34:56Speaker 3: Yeah again, if they're sitting there and something's got like
- 35:00Speaker 3: bag of like donuts or what are those, Yeah, I'll
- 35:04Speaker 3: eat them bitches.
- 35:05Speaker 9: But do you guys not appreciate just like the one
- 35:07Speaker 9: that just like I don't even it's not called an
- 35:09Speaker 9: old fashion but like an old fashioned donut with like
- 35:11Speaker 9: not much going on, like the cake donut.
- 35:14Speaker 3: Just plain Yeah, there's no glaze on it, there's no
- 35:18Speaker 3: frosting on it, I get it.
- 35:22Speaker 9: Or the one with like the crumbly crumbs on it.
- 35:26Speaker 3: It can be dry. Yeah, I mean, hey again, like pizza,
- 35:32Speaker 3: if donuts are around, I'm taking one. And so when
- 35:36Speaker 3: I when I bought these these donuts and I did
- 35:38Speaker 3: get them, I'm like, oh i'm outrunning. The kids will
- 35:40Speaker 3: think this is, you know, cool, and you know I
- 35:42Speaker 3: did it for the kids, and uh, I brought them
- 35:45Speaker 3: home and I want to go grab one. I grabbed
- 35:48Speaker 3: the knife and I cut one in half like an idiot.
- 35:50Speaker 3: Oh yeah, like eat half. I ate the half and
- 35:55Speaker 3: then immediately had the second half. Yeah, so all I
- 35:59Speaker 3: did was dirty And you got.
- 36:01Speaker 1: Dude, you gotta like show them in your mouth and
- 36:03Speaker 1: then spit them out.
- 36:04Speaker 3: Yeah, exactly. The mouthfel yeah, or just smell them, you
- 36:09Speaker 3: know eight seven seven forty four Woodie. You could text
- 36:13Speaker 3: us check in over to two two nine eight seven
- 36:15Speaker 3: more one of the show's.
- 36:16Speaker 7: Next show show, We'll be right back.
- 36:20Speaker 1: I could barely remember to open my mouth when I'm eating.
- 36:24Speaker 1: Like you think I'm gonna remember to bring a canvas
- 36:26Speaker 1: bags at girl.
- 36:27Speaker 7: I don't think you're gonna remember the show. All right's
- 36:33Speaker 7: see what do we have here? How about you make
- 36:36Speaker 7: the call?
- 36:37Speaker 9: Oh yeah?
- 36:39Speaker 3: This woman posted about a situation was regarding her daughter.
- 36:43Speaker 3: Daughter's a waitress at Olive Garden.
- 36:47Speaker 7: And you're okay, you fly.
- 36:50Speaker 3: The daughter got a seven hundred dollars tip on a
- 36:55Speaker 3: thirty six dollars bill. It happens sometimes, and that's when
- 37:00Speaker 3: all hell broke loose. And we'll pick up the story
- 37:03Speaker 3: from what this woman posted online.
- 37:06Speaker 10: She received a seven hundred dollars tip on a thirty
- 37:09Speaker 10: dollars tab from a regular customer that hadn't been in
- 37:11Speaker 10: a while.
- 37:12Speaker 9: She didn't notice it until after he left.
- 37:14Speaker 7: When she took it to the manager.
- 37:16Speaker 10: The manager told her to put zero in the tab
- 37:19Speaker 10: because that was just too much money to hand out. Clearly,
- 37:22Speaker 10: she was upset Her manager then said to her that
- 37:25Speaker 10: she's here to do a job and if she can't
- 37:27Speaker 10: do it, then she needs to leave. My daughter got
- 37:29Speaker 10: herself together, completed her shift, and at the end of
- 37:32Speaker 10: the shift, they then told her that they could give
- 37:34Speaker 10: her twenty percent, So they gave her six dollars on
- 37:37Speaker 10: this seven hundred dollars tip.
- 37:38Speaker 7: Today she was going to go in, which she did.
- 37:40Speaker 7: They just fired her.
- 37:41Speaker 10: So she's like, I don't want to leave because why
- 37:44Speaker 10: all of a sudden do I have a seven hundred
- 37:46Speaker 10: dollars tip and I'm fired the next day, so they
- 37:49Speaker 10: tell her that they're calling the police, and she's like, good,
- 37:52Speaker 10: call the police because you're stealing my money.
- 37:54Speaker 3: I like mo they mob they fire hers, not she
- 37:57Speaker 3: wrote a different tip, No.
- 38:01Speaker 9: Unless she like started smashing dishes when she was upset.
- 38:04Speaker 7: Now we don't know the whole story.
- 38:06Speaker 9: Don't you just call the customer and say, you know,
- 38:08Speaker 9: we just wanted to confirm this.
- 38:09Speaker 3: So here's what happened. The customer saw the video that
- 38:14Speaker 3: the mom posted and decided to freeze his card in
- 38:18Speaker 3: case Olive Garden tried anything funny, and they did because
- 38:22Speaker 3: after they fired the girl, the daughter, they attempted to
- 38:25Speaker 3: run this seven dollars tip.
- 38:28Speaker 7: Wow, this is a scammal, but.
- 38:30Speaker 3: The bank declined it. So he called the restaurant and
- 38:35Speaker 3: they gave him no clear answer and said to take
- 38:38Speaker 3: it up with the bank. There's so much I thought
- 38:40Speaker 3: we were family.
- 38:42Speaker 9: This is a dysfunction.
- 38:43Speaker 1: Tips like constantly. I mean, if you work in that space,
- 38:45Speaker 1: there's so much trama over tips.
- 38:47Speaker 9: But the question is the questions did he mean to
- 38:50Speaker 9: do it?
- 38:51Speaker 14: Sounds like he did.
- 38:52Speaker 6: Mean the manager is just trying to pocket this right now,
- 38:57Speaker 6: here's a question, why are you tipping seven hundred bucks?
- 39:00Speaker 3: That's I gotta want not not to you know, I
- 39:03Speaker 3: mean exactly, but you know, did she give some Well
- 39:08Speaker 3: here's the thing. Is he being a creep?
- 39:11Speaker 7: Right, Sammy?
- 39:12Speaker 12: Who cares?
- 39:13Speaker 3: Uh, he's going to stalk her? Did she, you know,
- 39:16Speaker 3: have some kind of conversation with him and she shared
- 39:18Speaker 3: a story about how she's doing something or whatever, and
- 39:21Speaker 3: he's trying to kick in tour you know whatever. I'm
- 39:23Speaker 3: not saying he's being a creep. I'm saying, like, what's
- 39:25Speaker 3: the You don't just all of a sudden just decide
- 39:27Speaker 3: to drop seven hundred bucks tip on a waiter?
- 39:31Speaker 9: It's a strange number.
- 39:32Speaker 3: He might have been a regular, I mean, I mean,
- 39:35Speaker 3: maybe maybe do it for social media purposes or those
- 39:40Speaker 3: or maybe just decided to do something. That is also
- 39:43Speaker 3: a possibility that he just decided to do.
- 39:44Speaker 9: It, but to fire the chick who got the money
- 39:47Speaker 9: and then pocket the money. It's pretty crazy. Yeah, that's
- 39:50Speaker 9: the problem.
- 39:51Speaker 3: Oh, that is certainly the problem. So, yeah, that I'm
- 39:54Speaker 3: not bold for Olive Garden. And then they get to
- 39:58Speaker 3: get rid of the evidence by five.
- 40:00Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 40:01Speaker 3: Yeah, so for Olive Garden, they're certainly in the assuming
- 40:04Speaker 3: all this stuff is all the facts are the facts. Yeah,
- 40:08Speaker 3: they're certainly in the wrong on many levels. I just
- 40:11Speaker 3: don't know why, like a restaurant or a place would
- 40:14Speaker 3: try to police whatever tip somebody clearly wrote on there.
- 40:18Speaker 3: I could see if you thought that the the employee,
- 40:22Speaker 3: the waiter, the waitress decided to at a at a
- 40:25Speaker 3: zero or change it, change it in some way.
- 40:28Speaker 12: It's because they want to keep it.
- 40:30Speaker 7: That's why. Yeah, obviously that's what's happening.
- 40:33Speaker 14: Yeah, they think that they don't deserve it.
- 40:35Speaker 7: Yeah, no, but there's other trying to get it.
- 40:36Speaker 3: But there are other places that have policies in place
- 40:38Speaker 3: where they won't. They won't run those tips. They won't
- 40:41Speaker 3: run a tip over a certain.
- 40:43Speaker 9: A male because it's going to be a mistake.
- 40:45Speaker 1: Well, I have correct on my credit card a couple
- 40:47Speaker 1: of times where I've tipped more like let's say I
- 40:50Speaker 1: bought of soda, right, but then I tipped like eight bucks.
- 40:53Speaker 3: Yeah, it's because menace can't do math. He has to
- 40:55Speaker 3: have nach there.
- 40:58Speaker 1: But I'll get a notification on my credit card say,
- 41:00Speaker 1: did you mean to tip this much?
- 41:02Speaker 2: Right?
- 41:02Speaker 7: Disprove it?
- 41:03Speaker 3: Yeah? Yeah? But how does that work when you are
- 41:06Speaker 3: a server and somebody tips you with their credit card
- 41:08Speaker 3: At the end of the night, do they do you
- 41:10Speaker 3: get cash or do they accumulate it all week?
- 41:12Speaker 12: Or how does that depends on the restaurant.
- 41:14Speaker 6: My experiences, at the end of the night, you put
- 41:16Speaker 6: in all the tips and then the restaurant gives you
- 41:18Speaker 6: cash and you leave with whatever, and then you know that, right,
- 41:21Speaker 6: they get paid from the credit card company. Oh that
- 41:23Speaker 6: makes sense, which comes through later. Of course, other restaurants
- 41:26Speaker 6: are different. Sometimes it's like every week you.
- 41:28Speaker 7: Get your check.
- 41:29Speaker 3: Yeah, I would assume that they had to put it
- 41:31Speaker 3: through your payroll. Like, so if there's a tip. You know,
- 41:35Speaker 3: say it's a hundred bucks, right, Uh, they'll add that
- 41:38Speaker 3: hundred bucks to my payroll. As you know in the
- 41:42Speaker 3: tip how you know, you can get different things. You
- 41:44Speaker 3: have your base pay, then you have whatever whether it's
- 41:48Speaker 3: a bonus or an overtime or whatever. It would be crtuities, tips,
- 41:51Speaker 3: whatever they put it on that line, it goes through
- 41:53Speaker 3: because my way to tables back more in the cash days,
- 41:58Speaker 3: we all just have to put in what we were claiming, right,
- 42:01Speaker 3: like for what you were because.
- 42:03Speaker 7: You get taxed on you're supposed to. Because in the
- 42:06Speaker 7: restaurant bad exactly everybody did that.
- 42:10Speaker 3: Everybody did that, but the restaurant was very very clear
- 42:14Speaker 3: on what the policy was that you were supposed to,
- 42:16Speaker 3: you know, make sure that you were claiming your tips.
- 42:18Speaker 3: So I was. I would assume that there's probably something
- 42:20Speaker 3: especial because it's all digital and it could I don't
- 42:23Speaker 3: know if there's liability for the restaurant.
- 42:25Speaker 12: A lot of times you won't claim your cash tips.
- 42:28Speaker 3: That's like correct, But yeah, but the but the but
- 42:31Speaker 3: the credit card, the south that comes to the credit
- 42:33Speaker 3: card from the business, I would.
- 42:34Speaker 7: Assume you got because now there's.
- 42:36Speaker 3: A paper trail dog and all of a sudden, you're
- 42:39Speaker 3: like putting down what don't really.
- 42:42Speaker 7: Number of dollars.
- 42:43Speaker 1: You know a lot of club DJs that got busted
- 42:45Speaker 1: by the I R s because they would get paid
- 42:48Speaker 1: in cash by the club, but the club will report
- 42:50Speaker 1: like how much money they're paying the DJs, and then
- 42:52Speaker 1: the DJs.
- 42:53Speaker 7: Like they put down a different.
- 42:57Speaker 3: That's crazy texting it's it's nobody's business. Why he is
- 43:00Speaker 3: seven hundred dollars tip? No, true, it's not, but we
- 43:02Speaker 3: can it's not about it. Yeah, you gotta wonder why
- 43:05Speaker 3: you know the bill's thirty six bucks. You know, what's
- 43:07Speaker 3: the what's the motivation for the seven hundred bucks? Just
- 43:10Speaker 3: out of pure curiosity. I'm not owed an explanation. I'm
- 43:13Speaker 3: trying to think of the different reasons. It could be
- 43:15Speaker 3: actually nice.
- 43:17Speaker 6: But if you're a good manager at a good restaurant,
- 43:19Speaker 6: wouldn't you be happy that your employee is giving good customers.
- 43:22Speaker 3: Good motivating If you want that seven hundred bucks, why
- 43:26Speaker 3: are we paying tips based on the value of the
- 43:28Speaker 3: food and not the service. That doesn't make any sense
- 43:31Speaker 3: to me. Look, man, tip whatever you like.
- 43:33Speaker 7: That's just how that's just how the system works.
- 43:35Speaker 3: You figure the fifteen to the twenty percent fifteen, man,
- 43:38Speaker 3: you get a dirty look.
- 43:39Speaker 9: Yeah, And that's the other thing. Like for for delivery food,
- 43:43Speaker 9: I think the same thing. I'm like, well, this food
- 43:45Speaker 9: costs more, but it's like teeny tiny as opposed to
- 43:47Speaker 9: like a pizza that's a pain in the ass to
- 43:50Speaker 9: bring to me. But the tip would be less because
- 43:52Speaker 9: I paid less for the fact.
- 43:53Speaker 3: That you got in the car and you drove it
- 43:54Speaker 3: and like that that means more to me than Yeah,
- 43:57Speaker 3: it's the opposite of some kind of counter service thing
- 44:01Speaker 3: where I walked up to the counter, I waited there
- 44:03Speaker 3: for a what you didn't even bring it out to
- 44:05Speaker 3: the table, like I just ordered it here a lot
- 44:08Speaker 3: of time, A lot of times I had a kiosk, now,
- 44:10Speaker 3: because they have.
- 44:10Speaker 7: The kiosk at the counter where the employe used.
- 44:13Speaker 3: To stand and taking order. So like it's the opposite
- 44:16Speaker 3: of that, Like okay, so door dash guy, right, you know,
- 44:18Speaker 3: And I realized, okay, well door dosh. I understand that,
- 44:21Speaker 3: But to me, there's more value, more service.
- 44:24Speaker 9: Totally agree. I'm just saying, like in the typical you
- 44:26Speaker 9: tip on what you paid, Like, well, this sushi was
- 44:29Speaker 9: like sixty bucks, but it was, you know, three inches
- 44:31Speaker 9: high to carry, and this pizza was a pain in
- 44:33Speaker 9: the ass and it was twenty bucks. Yeah, I'm saying
- 44:35Speaker 9: you should get more for that.
- 44:36Speaker 3: Another text coming in, It's crazy how someone can't even
- 44:38Speaker 3: do something nice, to give a nice gesture without being
- 44:40Speaker 3: considered a creep exactly. That's what we've been telling Sammy
- 44:44Speaker 3: daily the time. Yeah, I mean that's that's one of
- 44:48Speaker 3: many possible reasons. I'm not saying. I don't think anybody knows, but.
- 44:53Speaker 14: I don't think it can be ruled out.
- 44:55Speaker 7: No, it's me that's semi leads with.
- 44:58Speaker 3: But it's a pot is it possib It was like, oh, so,
- 45:01Speaker 3: so what you're saying, there's a chance, Yeah, Okay, it's possible.
- 45:04Speaker 3: It's more possible he's just trying to be or the
- 45:07Speaker 3: person's just trying to be nice, right, but like for
- 45:10Speaker 3: some reason whatever, just to be nice. Let's say he
- 45:13Speaker 3: thought she was hot, he wanted to have sex with
- 45:15Speaker 3: who cares?
- 45:16Speaker 7: Who cares the money?
- 45:18Speaker 3: Let him think to think Greg, if you or I,
- 45:21Speaker 3: you know, if we're waiters, Yeah, you think we're getting
- 45:23Speaker 3: a seven hundred dollars tip?
- 45:25Speaker 8: No, if I did, and if the reason was, Wow,
- 45:28Speaker 8: you want to do vile things with me?
- 45:31Speaker 12: Great, don't go home just like beaming.
- 45:34Speaker 8: First of all, yeah, great, thank you. Second of all,
- 45:37Speaker 8: thank you for the money.
- 45:38Speaker 9: Do you want to be a regular.
- 45:40Speaker 3: What you show? Send your texts if you'd like to
- 45:44Speaker 3: be a part of the show. Over to two two
- 45:45Speaker 3: nine eight seven.
- 45:47Speaker 2: Uh.
- 45:47Speaker 3: Somebody said I saw sea Bass out in the wild
- 45:51Speaker 3: cutting a sign chain to a lighthole with an ankle cruck.
- 45:54Speaker 7: Wow did you do that? I? Well, I on certain
- 45:58Speaker 7: mornings where I know I have the schedule for either
- 46:00Speaker 7: I wake up earlier or whatever I will cause I've
- 46:03Speaker 7: got I've got photos in my phone that are geotags
- 46:06Speaker 7: with the locations of signs by the way, illegally chained
- 46:10Speaker 7: up to utility poles, et cetera, et cetera. And I'll say, oh,
- 46:14Speaker 7: on the way, I'll have an extra half hour, I'll
- 46:16Speaker 7: go stop by this. You know this vape shop that's
- 46:18Speaker 7: got their sign chain to the to the light pole,
- 46:21Speaker 7: cut it loose and and dispose of it. Now, I'll
- 46:25Speaker 7: give you here's my my my ethos. Though, if it
- 46:28Speaker 7: is truly a local shop that has just chained their
- 46:31Speaker 7: sign illegally, which now is trash and I could dispose
- 46:34Speaker 7: of to us. But it's a local shop that's right there.
- 46:37Speaker 7: I'll cut it loose and I'll just place it on
- 46:38Speaker 7: the door of the shop, basically a warning. But if
- 46:44Speaker 7: it's somebody who's truly just spamming the neighborhood with trash,
- 46:47Speaker 7: like the the window tint guy or.
- 46:50Speaker 9: The uh, you know we buy houses right or the
- 46:54Speaker 9: you know this.
- 46:55Speaker 7: Is psychic, I don't care about psychic. You can be
- 46:57Speaker 7: local or not. That's going in the trash, that's going
- 46:59Speaker 7: in the track, that's that's going in the back of
- 47:01Speaker 7: the cyber truck, and it's gone, and you're out. I
- 47:03Speaker 7: don't know, one hundred something bucks or whatever you paid for.
- 47:06Speaker 7: I don't give that.
- 47:07Speaker 3: Sea Mass has decided.
- 47:08Speaker 7: No, the law has decided. You're not the law, I am,
- 47:11Speaker 7: You're not the city decent society. It doesn't make it
- 47:15Speaker 7: doesn't make you mean you can't pick up litter when
- 47:16Speaker 7: you see it on the sidewalk just because it's the
- 47:18Speaker 7: laws of responsibility. No, the letter's chain to a pole. Yeah,
- 47:21Speaker 7: now here's the thing, h I am. I'll give you.
- 47:24Speaker 7: I'll give you a fair head start of losers who
- 47:27Speaker 7: want to trash up your neighborhood. Those those coiled bike
- 47:30Speaker 7: locks worthless. The angle grinder goes through those things in
- 47:33Speaker 7: war a little, the plastic rubber outside the coiled steel.
- 47:38Speaker 7: That's that's a four second job. The much harder thing
- 47:41Speaker 7: are those big actual links, actual steel.
- 47:46Speaker 3: You have them?
- 47:47Speaker 7: Yeah, that those the U locks aren't great for poles
- 47:50Speaker 7: because they just aren't big enough to fit around the pole.
- 47:52Speaker 7: So they'll get just big thick chain and then put
- 47:55Speaker 7: a lock on it and put a big old padlock
- 47:57Speaker 7: on it. By the way, apparently the lock Gina had
- 47:59Speaker 7: on her story unit is the best lock on the planet.
- 48:02Speaker 3: Well, this is the ones that public storage cells circular kind.
- 48:04Speaker 7: They have to shroud on them. And well the type
- 48:07Speaker 7: of padlock you use is inconsequentials. I'm not cutting the padlock,
- 48:10Speaker 7: I'm cutting the check chain. So you could you can.
- 48:12Speaker 7: And it's funny too. They'll see these these big fat
- 48:14Speaker 7: padlocks on there. I'm like, cool, doesn't matter to me.
- 48:17Speaker 9: Yeah, with like a piece of twine around.
- 48:19Speaker 7: It, right right, Because the chain is what's the hardest
- 48:20Speaker 7: part to cut, and those big thick chains, that's probably
- 48:22Speaker 7: a forty five second job. Has anyone ever confronted you
- 48:26Speaker 7: asking you what the hell you're doing. No, because you
- 48:28Speaker 7: you'd be surprised that when it's you know, four, five,
- 48:30Speaker 7: six in the morning and I'm out there cutting the
- 48:33Speaker 7: locks off the local vape shop, that's not when the
- 48:35Speaker 7: vape shop employees are around.
- 48:36Speaker 13: Those aren't the rising grind sort of people? Are you
- 48:39Speaker 13: wearing like an orange vest or T shirt and shorts?
- 48:43Speaker 7: I wear I wear like a coronavirus style face mask,
- 48:46Speaker 7: just for just to make it a little tough on
- 48:48Speaker 7: them if they have cameras.
- 48:49Speaker 3: I mean, people just probably assume, they say, you know,
- 48:51Speaker 3: act like you're supposed to be there, right, Yeah, they
- 48:53Speaker 3: probably just assume exactly what people, Oh, he's out there
- 48:56Speaker 3: with the grinder find like otherwise what would any normal
- 49:00Speaker 3: thank you?
- 49:01Speaker 7: That's the same person and ready been questioned. Now I
- 49:06Speaker 7: am I am in like this morning in shorts, so
- 49:09Speaker 7: that that's a little bit of a flag. Yeah, yeah,
- 49:11Speaker 7: I got four this morning. I got four signs on.
- 49:14Speaker 1: The way and I'm looking at them now it's like,
- 49:16Speaker 1: you know, you were spotted in public.
- 49:18Speaker 7: Yeah, And we had a text. You remember a few
- 49:20Speaker 7: months ago a guy who said he got rid of
- 49:22Speaker 7: like we buy houses sign in his neighborhood, and it
- 49:24Speaker 7: felt great because there's that's that's spam. It's illegal. The
- 49:27Speaker 7: city should be finding those people like the there. You
- 49:29Speaker 7: can look up stories like in Detroit, some like we
- 49:31Speaker 7: buy houses. Guy got fined like thousands of dollars, so
- 49:33Speaker 7: he just threw them up all light posting town.
- 49:35Speaker 9: And the phone numbers there they want you to call
- 49:37Speaker 9: them exactly.
- 49:37Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm looking up now, and they say that you
- 49:40Speaker 1: can't be charged with vandalism, trespassing, art theft for removing
- 49:44Speaker 1: these illegal signs. Is said that you should be reporting
- 49:49Speaker 1: them to your city.
- 49:50Speaker 4: They'll get right.
- 49:52Speaker 7: Yeah, well, at the point that you've left it there,
- 49:53Speaker 7: it is now trash is legally trash.
- 49:56Speaker 3: It's it's the same argument that you will use for
- 50:00Speaker 3: or you know, people on the vigilanting justice. It's not
- 50:03Speaker 3: like it's not you. It's not your job to carry
- 50:06Speaker 3: that out, which I understand. I love vigilant stuff.
- 50:08Speaker 7: It's a different crime though.
- 50:09Speaker 3: This is this I don't I don't, I don't care
- 50:11Speaker 3: what you do with this thing. I'm just wondering, like
- 50:14Speaker 3: it's it's more like all right, he's he's going out
- 50:18Speaker 3: earlier than he needs to in his day for the
- 50:22Speaker 3: soul price. He's geo tagged photos in his phone.
- 50:26Speaker 7: It's not I'm not catching child predators because I'm not process.
- 50:30Speaker 7: I just can't.
- 50:31Speaker 3: I can't ever imagine that being so important to me.
- 50:33Speaker 3: That's the guy who took out his leaf blower couldn't
- 50:36Speaker 3: get rid of stuff in the neighborhood. Yes, but that
- 50:38Speaker 3: wasn't because it was because it wasn't insightly. It's because
- 50:41Speaker 3: I was walking five miles a day and I was
- 50:43Speaker 3: walking over the stuff. But it was very uncomfortable to
- 50:45Speaker 3: walk over. It was from it was from my benefits.
- 50:51Speaker 7: It's unslightly there's a reason that's against the law.
- 50:53Speaker 2: Right.
- 50:54Speaker 8: I would very much like you to stand up for
- 50:56Speaker 8: Sea Bass right now, because the overall mood is what
- 51:00Speaker 8: do people do when they see you and think, oh,
- 51:02Speaker 8: what's this psycho doing. He's caring. He's caring about aesthetics
- 51:07Speaker 8: and decency.
- 51:08Speaker 7: You'll see a lot of old people have like a
- 51:09Speaker 7: little walking stick spike on the end, like.
- 51:11Speaker 3: Captain America does not have the disorder. Okay, well maybe
- 51:15Speaker 3: here's okay, here's the other part of what Menace is
- 51:18Speaker 3: reading that could come into play. Because the sign, like
- 51:21Speaker 3: you said, it's worth one hundred bucks. That is technically
- 51:24Speaker 3: somebody's property, even though it's it's attached to something.
- 51:27Speaker 7: If you put something in your garbage can outside, it doesn't
- 51:29Speaker 7: matter how much it's worth. It is now open its
- 51:32Speaker 7: open season to the public. Yeah, and then the city
- 51:34Speaker 7: just get charged with the misdemeanor. Are fine mismeaner?
- 51:36Speaker 3: What though?
- 51:37Speaker 7: Misdemeanor? What tampering with city property? Because I'm not touching
- 51:39Speaker 7: the city, I'm not vandalizing, I'm vandalizing.
- 51:44Speaker 3: I'm sure. Why is that weird?
- 51:47Speaker 1: Well, I'm sure they'll just find something to charge you with,
- 51:50Speaker 1: because that's usually they're not going to find because they
- 51:52Speaker 1: want the city to remove it so they can.
- 51:54Speaker 7: Well guess what, argue. A lot of these things have
- 51:56Speaker 7: been months, if not years in the making. These aren't like, hey,
- 51:59Speaker 7: yards sail this Sunday and I go down and grab
- 52:01Speaker 7: it on Saturday. No, No, this is stuff that is
- 52:03Speaker 7: because I see it. It's got weeds grown out of it.
- 52:05Speaker 7: Half the time, it's covered in dirt wrap.
- 52:07Speaker 3: And I would bet my house and my dog if
- 52:10Speaker 3: he reported it, quote unquote to the city. Nothing.
- 52:15Speaker 7: No, we all know that.
- 52:16Speaker 9: We all know that, And like I just said, you're
- 52:18Speaker 9: unvandalizing the area.
- 52:20Speaker 7: I don't trust what menaces source is because yeah, literally,
- 52:22Speaker 7: once you leave something, if you take look, dude, it's
- 52:24Speaker 7: not me. If you intentionally dump, I don't care. You
- 52:28Speaker 7: intentionally dumped the Mona Lisa on the sidewalk and just
- 52:30Speaker 7: leave it there, that's trash. Now, yeah it's been trash.
- 52:34Speaker 7: Have you seen it in person?
- 52:36Speaker 3: Exactly?
- 52:38Speaker 7: But yeah, if you if you're intentionally leaving your property
- 52:40Speaker 7: out to be just to be, just to sit, that's trash.
- 52:43Speaker 7: And I whatever I want to do to claim it
- 52:44Speaker 7: or get rid of it is number one roic.
- 52:47Speaker 9: Speaking of that, where do you get rid of this stuff?
- 52:50Speaker 3: Well?
- 52:50Speaker 9: Is that secret?
- 52:51Speaker 7: I have a couple drop spots like so, like I said,
- 52:53Speaker 7: for instance, if it's a local business, that's just just
- 52:55Speaker 7: just being stupid talking about illegal dumping leave thumping. Not
- 53:00Speaker 7: side of the road, No, not at all. But I
- 53:02Speaker 7: have dumpsters.
- 53:04Speaker 3: Calling our lawyer friend Darren.
- 53:07Speaker 7: Oh, Kevin, Oh, Darren Yeah he was also he's Cartnark's Yeah,
- 53:11Speaker 7: he's my lawyer friend. Technically he's my lawyercs. I paid
- 53:14Speaker 7: him money.
- 53:16Speaker 3: Well he would know maybe, I mean I texted him
- 53:19Speaker 3: and you know, by the way, Darren.
- 53:23Speaker 7: Darren's done a bunch of good work, not only in
- 53:26Speaker 7: card narks defense, but in a lot of sexual predator stuff.
- 53:29Speaker 7: He's really good to become. He's helping a lot of
- 53:31Speaker 7: women get hit their justice. So hell yeah.
- 53:34Speaker 3: Text here says hey, Sea Bass, going to get you
- 53:36Speaker 3: come to my neighborhood to cut down the twenty five
- 53:38Speaker 3: foot Halloween skeleton and still up.
- 53:41Speaker 7: Well, we did a different bit Humber of years ago.
- 53:43Speaker 7: I sent out notices, not posing as the government, but
- 53:45Speaker 7: just general notices, and people had Christmas lights up and
- 53:49Speaker 7: I didn't like that.
- 53:49Speaker 9: That's what some people do. I showed Greg this the
- 53:51Speaker 9: other day. There's somebody who leaves their skeleton up all
- 53:54Speaker 9: year round, but like, we'll just put a Christmas hat
- 53:56Speaker 9: on it, put an Easter basket next to it.
- 53:59Speaker 7: Now that the quirky person in the neame, what do
- 54:02Speaker 7: you show?
- 54:05Speaker 1: It?
- 54:05Speaker 7: Is another glorious Friday.
- 54:09Speaker 3: Yeah, And as is tradition, we end the week with
- 54:13Speaker 3: some Friday fail stories. Eight seven seven forty four. Woody
- 54:18Speaker 3: is the phone number. If you want to call in
- 54:20Speaker 3: today and be a part of things.
- 54:22Speaker 7: Text Friday check ins.
- 54:24Speaker 3: You can check in with us, tell us who you are,
- 54:26Speaker 3: where around town You are what you got going on
- 54:28Speaker 3: this weekend? Anything anyone you'd like to have us mentioned
- 54:32Speaker 3: with your Friday check in, just included with your info
- 54:35Speaker 3: that you're texting over to two two nine eight seven.
- 54:39Speaker 3: And here we go Friday fail stories.
- 55:25Speaker 7: Oh right, let us you tell him be boys.
- 55:27Speaker 17: And girls, it is time for your Friday fail storry.
- 55:35Speaker 17: All these people thought they had the perfect plan, the
- 55:37Speaker 17: planet can never go wrong, and then somewhere or long
- 55:39Speaker 17: the line, it went from being a great.
- 55:40Speaker 3: Idea to one big stake in Mega uber ultro. All right, yeah,
- 56:02Speaker 3: it's in the pocket. It's not really gonna like destroy
- 56:05Speaker 3: our average. It's not gonna it's not gonna raise our no.
- 56:09Speaker 7: But yeah, that's all right, Yeah that's what she said.
- 56:13Speaker 3: All right. This one is from Florida cops. They showed
- 56:16Speaker 3: up to a Walmart Menace your favorite place. They got
- 56:19Speaker 3: a call from a customer who said they heard a
- 56:21Speaker 3: gun shot in the store. The cops arrived, they followed
- 56:24Speaker 3: a trail of blood that ran from the bathroom to
- 56:28Speaker 3: the front of the store. Now that could be just
- 56:29Speaker 3: any day at Walmart. That doesn't necessarily mean it's something
- 56:32Speaker 3: out of the ordinary has gone on, you know, But anyway,
- 56:35Speaker 3: they followed the trail of blood, but they didn't find
- 56:37Speaker 3: anybody who had been shot. However, a short time later,
- 56:40Speaker 3: this guy showed up at the hospital with a gun
- 56:42Speaker 3: shot wound. He had his gun holstered in the waistband
- 56:46Speaker 3: of his shorts. Greg oh sweet look, and when he
- 56:49Speaker 3: adjusted them, the gun went off and he shot himself
- 56:52Speaker 3: in the ground. He'll eventually be fine. The cops they're
- 56:57Speaker 3: just chalking it up to an accident. But sailed in
- 57:02Speaker 3: the groin.
- 57:03Speaker 1: In the groin, I mean that blood could have just
- 57:06Speaker 1: been a diabetes foot you know, sure, you don't know.
- 57:09Speaker 3: This next one is about this forty year old dude,
- 57:12Speaker 3: a wellness coach who had signed himself up for a
- 57:16Speaker 3: detox ritual that used a secretion from this Amazonian frog
- 57:21Speaker 3: named Cambo Awesome. It involved drinking a large amount of
- 57:25Speaker 3: water and then burning small spots on the skin and
- 57:29Speaker 3: then applying this frog secretion leit to the Oh absolutely,
- 57:34Speaker 3: I think your doctor would tell you to do that.
- 57:35Speaker 3: So this dude and other wellness coaches like him claim
- 57:39Speaker 3: the intense vomiting and diarrhea it causes cleanses the body
- 57:44Speaker 3: and then you improve your mental clarity.
- 57:46Speaker 7: Now fyi.
- 57:48Speaker 3: Medical experts say there's no scientific evidence supporting any of
- 57:51Speaker 3: those claims. They know that's yeah, right, just definitely. Anyway,
- 57:56Speaker 3: dude died and it was the detox cleans that killed him. Yeah,
- 58:02Speaker 3: that frog secretion is called cambo. It's hella toxic. There's
- 58:06Speaker 3: plenty of actual scientific evidence showing its link to seizures,
- 58:10Speaker 3: liver failure, heart attacks, psychosis.
- 58:13Speaker 9: Did you read that part?
- 58:14Speaker 3: And many people have died because of it. Whatever ailment
- 58:18Speaker 3: he had, he doesn't have, no people keep doing it,
- 58:21Speaker 3: and that's how you get the headline, folks, Wellness coach
- 58:24Speaker 3: dies after detox ritual involving toad vaccine.
- 58:29Speaker 12: I had a roommate that went to go do that
- 58:31Speaker 12: and he was never the same the toad.
- 58:33Speaker 1: Yeah, are you talking about siyahuasca or like, well.
- 58:36Speaker 12: He went to like this camp for like twenty days.
- 58:38Speaker 9: Yeah, and they lived in the drugs and stuff and.
- 58:41Speaker 7: What's wrong with them?
- 58:41Speaker 3: Yeah? What was the reason he went?
- 58:43Speaker 12: He's just well to get spiritual awakened, of course.
- 58:47Speaker 14: Right, But you said he's never been the same, so
- 58:48Speaker 14: what's different.
- 58:49Speaker 6: Well, he came back and he stopped paying his bills
- 58:51Speaker 6: and nothing mattered, and he was like this world isn't
- 58:54Speaker 6: real anymore.
- 58:54Speaker 1: Okay, sometimes you know, your brain gets fried on the way.
- 58:58Speaker 3: So is this kind of like I don't know that
- 59:00Speaker 3: guy was that you were mentioning and Sea Bass was saying,
- 59:04Speaker 3: it's one of these dudes like the guy that you
- 59:07Speaker 3: said inspired you for.
- 59:08Speaker 9: Your Oh no, no, he just died in like nineteen
- 59:12Speaker 9: ten or something.
- 59:12Speaker 12: Yeah, he was like a philosopher.
- 59:14Speaker 3: Yeah, but it's the whole idea, like just denying reality.
- 59:18Speaker 7: Yes, it's not my.
- 59:19Speaker 6: Reality, but I'm not going through another rugs coming out
- 59:22Speaker 6: of country to she can decide that all on her own.
- 59:26Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 59:26Speaker 3: Yeah, I didn't know if it was like the same
- 59:28Speaker 3: general thought process though, just gone, yeah, you know what,
- 59:30Speaker 3: that's not real.
- 59:31Speaker 12: You know it can be taken to that extreme.
- 59:33Speaker 3: Yes, because then you tell yourself something enough, I guess,
- 59:36Speaker 3: and then that becomes like you actually legitimately start to
- 59:40Speaker 3: believe it and.
- 59:41Speaker 12: Then get reality.
- 59:42Speaker 3: Yeah, just telling your landlord.
- 59:43Speaker 12: So it really it does work.
- 59:45Speaker 3: Yeah, it works.
- 59:46Speaker 7: W's just a concept, right.
- 59:49Speaker 3: This next one is about this nineteen year old dude
- 59:51Speaker 3: who showed up to the hospital complaining about some throat
- 59:54Speaker 3: pain and he was having difficulties swallowing his breathing was abnormal.
- 59:58Speaker 3: They couldn't figure out why. Well, uh, doctors took him
- 1:00:01Speaker 3: back for an X ray and they cracked the case.
- 1:00:04Speaker 3: He had swallowed a bottle cap. And I thought about
- 1:00:09Speaker 3: the woman that Gina was following who swallowed the air, like,
- 1:00:15Speaker 3: how do you how do you do that?
- 1:00:17Speaker 9: It can't be an accident, right, I mean, she just
- 1:00:19Speaker 9: took it with all her horse pills.
- 1:00:22Speaker 3: Well, he was playing beer pong with his bros. And
- 1:00:25Speaker 3: the cap was in the cup and he just slammed
- 1:00:27Speaker 3: it without even noticing. But again, how does that just
- 1:00:30Speaker 3: go down so easily?
- 1:00:33Speaker 7: Liquid a bottle cap like a full.
- 1:00:38Speaker 3: You wouldn't the right and to the point, you never
- 1:00:41Speaker 3: even noticed it. I think even if you did swallow,
- 1:00:46Speaker 3: I find it hard to believe that you didn't notice
- 1:00:48Speaker 3: it at all, no matter how drunk. Yeah, anyway, it
- 1:00:51Speaker 3: required emergency surgery. The doctor's stuck a tube with the
- 1:00:54Speaker 3: camera down his hole and they were able to remove
- 1:00:57Speaker 3: the bottle cap. But yeah, sail man, you can't even
- 1:01:01Speaker 3: swallow a pill.
- 1:01:03Speaker 7: Yeah, she can't get a tile on all anything.
- 1:01:06Speaker 3: And here we go. This is my favorite story of
- 1:01:08Speaker 3: the week. You know, there's always that debate with the
- 1:01:11Speaker 3: truck dudes, you know which truck brand is cooler Chevy
- 1:01:15Speaker 3: for Dodge, you know whatever.
- 1:01:18Speaker 7: The nice people over dodged.
- 1:01:20Speaker 3: They listed a shirt on their website and it was
- 1:01:22Speaker 3: clearly made by AI, and we all know how people
- 1:01:24Speaker 3: in general feel about AI. The shirt featured a truck
- 1:01:28Speaker 3: on the front of the American flag with the phrase
- 1:01:31Speaker 3: Ram power underneath it. And there were two issues with
- 1:01:34Speaker 3: the image. First, the flag only had thirty eight stars
- 1:01:38Speaker 3: on it instead of how many minutes fifty, So that's
- 1:01:43Speaker 3: a thing. That's a thing. The truck on the shirt
- 1:01:46Speaker 3: wasn't even a Dodge Ram. Now again this is this
- 1:01:49Speaker 3: is this is Dodge selling this stuff. It wasn't a
- 1:01:53Speaker 3: Dodge rim. It was a Toyota Tacoma Oh noise and
- 1:01:59Speaker 3: sponsor with the woody ship. Right. Yeah, so people on
- 1:02:02Speaker 3: social media had a field day with that, ripping Dodge
- 1:02:04Speaker 3: up and down the internet. Dodge has since removed the
- 1:02:07Speaker 3: shirt from their website.
- 1:02:09Speaker 7: And though yeah, they had.
- 1:02:14Speaker 3: The tacom on there, Yeah, it's not on your own brand,
- 1:02:21Speaker 3: nobody's it doesn't go through like twelve people eight.
- 1:02:24Speaker 7: That's that's always my question.
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: Nobody like notice that nobody looks proofrey question you're telling
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: me a worker can just like design a shirt and
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: then put it up on the website with.
- 1:02:34Speaker 3: Their own Yeah. Pretty cool.
- 1:02:36Speaker 7: So funny.
- 1:02:37Speaker 3: Now that's some autonomy, you.
- 1:02:38Speaker 16: Know, right.
- 1:02:39Speaker 3: That is no micromanaging. No, it's what's up with what's
- 1:02:44Speaker 3: going down in so sports With Jeff g you were
- 1:02:52Speaker 3: saying that there's a couple of people that have got
- 1:02:54Speaker 3: like year round skeletons in your neighborhood. I hate you know,
- 1:02:59Speaker 3: We've got a guy.
- 1:03:00Speaker 7: Yeah I can my neighborhood.
- 1:03:02Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, we got a guy.
- 1:03:03Speaker 7: We get set them over there with Yeah. Yeah, I'll
- 1:03:07Speaker 7: go to the door with him.
- 1:03:08Speaker 3: I'm not scared. Yeah. That's was spotted earlier this morning
- 1:03:12Speaker 3: by a listener out with his like angle grinder. The
- 1:03:15Speaker 3: lords cutting out more signs that were chained up to
- 1:03:19Speaker 3: you know, light posts, litlaborat and stuff like that.
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: Now, before people ask, is it like Halloween skeletons or okay,
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: not Day of the Dead stuff.
- 1:03:28Speaker 18: No, Halloween skeletons that they refuse to take down. They
- 1:03:30Speaker 18: don't even decorate them.
- 1:03:31Speaker 7: Like Gina said, Christmas on same same skeleton. It's still
- 1:03:36Speaker 7: plugged into power, which is weird.
- 1:03:38Speaker 3: I'm surprised. I'm surprised. Burbank allows that.
- 1:03:42Speaker 9: Yeah, they sipped.
- 1:03:45Speaker 3: Its butting up about a lot of things. Surprised they
- 1:03:47Speaker 3: allow that anyway. All right, Jeff g what's happening with
- 1:03:50Speaker 3: the sports? All right, Happy Friday.
- 1:03:51Speaker 18: Let's start with our Dodger scary moment last night for
- 1:03:53Speaker 18: Max munseying during yesterday's game.
- 1:03:56Speaker 3: Argus to the bag coalition safe that hurt?
- 1:04:03Speaker 18: Yeah, Munsey left the game as part of the concussion protocol.
- 1:04:05Speaker 18: He passed all the tests, but he won't be playing
- 1:04:07Speaker 18: tonight as a precaution. They just like ran into each
- 1:04:09Speaker 18: other in their first baseman in maxim months.
- 1:04:11Speaker 9: Did you like hit his glasses?
- 1:04:12Speaker 3: Yeah? Yeah, I broke him. Yeah.
- 1:04:14Speaker 18: Dodgers ended up losing the game last night on a
- 1:04:16Speaker 18: walk off three two Dodgers and Angels all weekend at
- 1:04:19Speaker 18: Chavez Chavez reviewing. Excuse me Tonight LGBTQ plus Pride Night.
- 1:04:24Speaker 18: So if you bought that ticket package, you get a
- 1:04:25Speaker 18: sweet Pride Night. Jersey Tomorrow's glass now bobblehead as well,
- 1:04:29Speaker 18: So get out to the stadium and check that out.
- 1:04:31Speaker 18: NHL Hurricanes got back into the series with an overtime
- 1:04:33Speaker 18: win last night. Series shifts back to Vegas with that
- 1:04:36Speaker 18: series tied one to one. Game three is Maniana NBA Finals,
- 1:04:40Speaker 18: Game two of the Finals tonight at five thirty Knicks
- 1:04:42Speaker 18: up one zero, and I have to play this audio
- 1:04:45Speaker 18: I found on Instagram. Knicks fans have been starring for
- 1:04:47Speaker 18: a championship right for fifty three years, so much to
- 1:04:50Speaker 18: show that they'd be willing to do this.
- 1:04:57Speaker 13: Wow, Wow, Goldberg, that was something I was not expecting.
- 1:05:12Speaker 7: What she wants? That ass? She catches random here and there.
- 1:05:16Speaker 18: I'm Jeff G that's your sol sports, Jeff.
- 1:05:20Speaker 8: At this point, why don't we just all liquidate our
- 1:05:22Speaker 8: bank account and take the money and putting the fire.
- 1:05:27Speaker 3: I'm looking for real answers.
- 1:05:28Speaker 7: No Woody show.
- 1:05:30Speaker 3: Now, this could have very easily been I And when
- 1:05:34Speaker 3: I saw the the headline, I thought, man, this has
- 1:05:38Speaker 3: got to be a fail story. But no. Guy in
- 1:05:41Speaker 3: San Francisco robbed the yoga studio.
- 1:05:44Speaker 7: What are you gonna get there? That's a really good question.
- 1:05:47Speaker 3: Yeah, that's why behavior? Yeah why why yoga student? Anyway, Uh,
- 1:05:53Speaker 3: it's how he got away.
- 1:05:55Speaker 7: He walks into the studio, he robs him.
- 1:05:57Speaker 3: He got away with an armload of active wear and
- 1:06:01Speaker 3: men's shorts, and then from there he hopped into a Weymo. Yeah,
- 1:06:08Speaker 3: and he used it to get away before the cops
- 1:06:10Speaker 3: showed up. Now here's the thing. This happened back in January.
- 1:06:13Speaker 3: The cops still can't find the guy, have cameras in
- 1:06:16Speaker 3: him or anything. Oh your accounts Waymo's they got cameras
- 1:06:21Speaker 3: all over. You would think it'd be easy to find
- 1:06:23Speaker 3: this guy. And he obviously said that they know who
- 1:06:26Speaker 3: ordered the It's unknown how long those videos are actually
- 1:06:31Speaker 3: stored for there in Waimo's system. The cops said that
- 1:06:35Speaker 3: Waimo blurred out the identity of the thief for privacy reasons,
- 1:06:41Speaker 3: but at least the user name again, like okay, and
- 1:06:44Speaker 3: you would think in the course of investigating a crime
- 1:06:46Speaker 3: they could figure out okay, well, can at least tell
- 1:06:48Speaker 3: us who ordered.
- 1:06:49Speaker 7: The Weaymo and then we'll figure it out.
- 1:06:51Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, there's not like somebody going through in
- 1:06:55Speaker 3: manually blurring out people's faces in their videos. On the
- 1:07:02Speaker 3: guy was smart because man, he got away with it,
- 1:07:07Speaker 3: and they all they also figured out he used a
- 1:07:08Speaker 3: burner phone and so now the cops are at a
- 1:07:11Speaker 3: at a dead end. Then we haven't We had a
- 1:07:13Speaker 3: story recently about how they're discussing ways to get rid
- 1:07:17Speaker 3: of burner phones. Yeah, like you wouldn't just be able
- 1:07:20Speaker 3: to go into you know, the store and just get
- 1:07:22Speaker 3: like a show, right.
- 1:07:25Speaker 7: Couldn't you still get something like from overseas? Men's right?
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: Like Amazon? They have those those butt phones.
- 1:07:32Speaker 3: Yeah, a little tiny How big are they? Sunky of
- 1:07:37Speaker 3: your pinky? It's a functioning cell phone.
- 1:07:40Speaker 7: We keep talking about putting those up our butts and trying.
- 1:07:43Speaker 3: Yeah, we keep thinking like.
- 1:07:46Speaker 7: Morgan's putting coffee and stuff. Oh yeah, yeah, pinky.
- 1:07:50Speaker 9: Probably becomes bigger than you realize if you're trying to
- 1:07:52Speaker 9: stick it in someone's butt, you.
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: Know, condom around it or yeah, get it back out.
- 1:07:59Speaker 3: But you thought, you know, I thought for sure seeing
- 1:08:02Speaker 3: that that headline, well they clearly got the guy. Wouldn't
- 1:08:05Speaker 3: you try to make it get away in a way? Moo?
- 1:08:07Speaker 9: Yeah, that's the dumbest.
- 1:08:08Speaker 7: But he did it. But apparently not he did it,
- 1:08:10Speaker 7: And that's a smart because those Lululemon you know, the
- 1:08:13Speaker 7: shorts or the tights, that's that's going to even on
- 1:08:15Speaker 7: like an eBay. They're gonna get sixty seventy bucks for that.
- 1:08:18Speaker 3: Yeah, and why was he going to do with them. No, No,
- 1:08:21Speaker 3: I guess like why why why is that stuff so expensive?
- 1:08:24Speaker 7: The active way?
- 1:08:25Speaker 3: Oh?
- 1:08:25Speaker 7: No, yeah, it's the name. Yeah, it's it's like it's
- 1:08:27Speaker 7: like why your purses and shoes expensive because stupid people
- 1:08:30Speaker 7: pay for the status.
- 1:08:31Speaker 15: Well, but it is higher quality than what you're going
- 1:08:33Speaker 15: to get on Amazon or something like that.
- 1:08:35Speaker 14: That's longer, it fits better, it's more comfortable.
- 1:08:38Speaker 7: No, that's not accurate.
- 1:08:39Speaker 14: But it's also the place it accurate.
- 1:08:41Speaker 4: I have both.
- 1:08:41Speaker 9: But it's the price that like the market will pay,
- 1:08:44Speaker 9: like market has just decided we pay a lot for
- 1:08:46Speaker 9: that stuff, right right?
- 1:08:47Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 1:08:47Speaker 7: Yeah, true, it's well, I'm wearing a pair of uh,
- 1:08:50Speaker 7: what's that Beory Viewery shorts right now, which are your
- 1:08:53Speaker 7: billionaire which exactly more expensive of it. But I've also
- 1:08:56Speaker 7: have Walmart shorts at home and vv or you know it.
- 1:09:00Speaker 9: It's like the view Yes.
- 1:09:01Speaker 3: I'm thinking like the stuff put the strips.
- 1:09:04Speaker 9: No, it's like view viewer.
- 1:09:07Speaker 3: I've heard of that.
- 1:09:07Speaker 7: Ye are the strip people make the once people make
- 1:09:14Speaker 7: the shorts and vor it's not it's not worth three,
- 1:09:19Speaker 7: four or five times what aloe is?
- 1:09:21Speaker 15: The material better, the fit is better, they last longer,
- 1:09:24Speaker 15: and maybe for guys it's not the same. But for
- 1:09:25Speaker 15: girls when it comes to tighter pants and yoga pants
- 1:09:28Speaker 15: and leggings, yes, it is because.
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: Because it's better exactly like this girl, I know it's more.
- 1:09:32Speaker 3: Room for your balls.
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: Yeah, I can't just better quality.
- 1:09:36Speaker 7: Guess what? Okay, the people measurements don't change that much
- 1:09:41Speaker 7: that the people in China make a knockoffs. They know
- 1:09:44Speaker 7: how like centimeters, and the knockoffs are made in the
- 1:09:46Speaker 7: same factory.
- 1:09:47Speaker 9: I get it, though, there's some stuff you can get
- 1:09:49Speaker 9: that feels cheap and it doesn't feel grippy and whatever.
- 1:09:52Speaker 9: But I think both are true. I think people like, well,
- 1:09:55Speaker 9: the market will pay seventy five dollars for these dumb leggings,
- 1:09:57Speaker 9: so that's what will be because.
- 1:09:59Speaker 7: It has the lulul the logo or the Alo logo.
- 1:10:01Speaker 3: This is probably a silly question, Greg, You even rode
- 1:10:03Speaker 3: in the waymo yet right? No me neither, no menace
- 1:10:10Speaker 3: yet designated app Yeah, yeah.
- 1:10:11Speaker 7: It's like, well not in Austin. Austin.
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: It's integrated into the Uber app.
- 1:10:17Speaker 7: So but still you can choose weimo right, yeah, but.
- 1:10:20Speaker 3: Was it weird?
- 1:10:21Speaker 7: No, not at all.
- 1:10:23Speaker 3: The first time he did it, it wasn't weird. Nobody's driving,
- 1:10:25Speaker 3: it's gotta be weird. Nothing you didn't trust you got
- 1:10:28Speaker 3: in it. But I mean, you're sitting there and I
- 1:10:30Speaker 3: just thought it was cool.
- 1:10:31Speaker 7: They drive around, they go over and beyond to like
- 1:10:34Speaker 7: show you because you have a you have a screen
- 1:10:36Speaker 7: you're sitting in the back seat that shows you what
- 1:10:38Speaker 7: it sees. So and it's it's talking you through, especially
- 1:10:41Speaker 7: the first time. This is what's going to happen. We're
- 1:10:43Speaker 7: not recording your video unless you ask us to. Blah
- 1:10:45Speaker 7: blah blah blah blah. But they show you what it like,
- 1:10:47Speaker 7: and you see like, oh wow, this thing sees everything.
- 1:10:49Speaker 7: It sees the little dog that's walking, It sees the bicycle,
- 1:10:52Speaker 7: it's traffic cone, it sees blah blah blah. And uh,
- 1:10:57Speaker 7: Tesla does the same sort of thing nowadays.
- 1:10:58Speaker 9: All Right, I have a stupid question because I've never
- 1:11:00Speaker 9: been in one E. There are you like locked in
- 1:11:03Speaker 9: with like child blocks until you get station.
- 1:11:06Speaker 7: In fact, recently, basically you can tell it's pull over the.
- 1:11:13Speaker 9: Can you change instructions.
- 1:11:15Speaker 7: Stops on the app? Yeah, but like, for instance, I
- 1:11:17Speaker 7: was getting away more home recently and for no reason,
- 1:11:20Speaker 7: it was stuck and ding ding ding ding ding ding,
- 1:11:23Speaker 7: and it wouldn't pull off from the curbs. Like, what
- 1:11:25Speaker 7: the hell's going on? So I get the I put
- 1:11:27Speaker 7: a little help button. The person gets on, Oh, I
- 1:11:29Speaker 7: see you've got an obstruction in front of you. Like, no,
- 1:11:31Speaker 7: I don't. There's three car links in front of me.
- 1:11:33Speaker 7: It just thinks there's one. And she's like, oh please wait, well,
- 1:11:36Speaker 7: I'm up updating you to a specialist blah blah blah.
- 1:11:40Speaker 7: And the specialist gets on, He's like, oh, I see
- 1:11:41Speaker 7: you've got instruction. No I don't. You can see what
- 1:11:43Speaker 7: I can see right He's like, yeah, we just can't
- 1:11:45Speaker 7: get it, And so I just out the door. See
- 1:11:48Speaker 7: it by the or front. I sit in the back.
- 1:11:52Speaker 7: I think you can sit in the passenger seat up.
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: Front, Yeah you can. The one I want to try
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: is the Zekes.
- 1:11:56Speaker 7: The z those are more like little odds.
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: It's a pod. It doesn't even have like a front
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: steering wheel anything. It's just like a box.
- 1:12:05Speaker 7: And get those in Vegas and you sit in it. Yeah.
- 1:12:07Speaker 7: The next we're at the point right now where living
- 1:12:11Speaker 7: room in a box rolling living room.
- 1:12:13Speaker 3: That's we could do it right now because people are
- 1:12:15Speaker 3: gonna take care of that can you imagine, like you
- 1:12:17Speaker 3: see the way that people treat hotel rooms, like the
- 1:12:20Speaker 3: first couple of customers are going to use it, and
- 1:12:22Speaker 3: then you're gonna get into the rolling living room. No,
- 1:12:24Speaker 3: I want the personal juice everywhere.
- 1:12:26Speaker 7: I'll pay for my yeah, yeah exactly. Yeah, No, I'm
- 1:12:30Speaker 7: definitely anything you could sleep in, because you can sleep
- 1:12:33Speaker 7: in a tesla. Now, there's plenty of videos of people
- 1:12:34Speaker 7: doing it, but you have to like trick the tesla, right,
- 1:12:38Speaker 7: it has to feel like you're still paying attention.
- 1:12:40Speaker 3: Could take over. You know, you got to put some
- 1:12:43Speaker 3: kind of weight on the steering wheel itself to make
- 1:12:45Speaker 3: it think that you're holding the steering wheel.
- 1:12:47Speaker 7: Not anymore, they they they the newest full stealth driving
- 1:12:50Speaker 7: is hands free. Now it's it still wants to look
- 1:12:53Speaker 7: like there's hands there. So like, for instance, right now,
- 1:12:55Speaker 7: it'll give me a little blue flash like please put
- 1:12:57Speaker 7: hands on wheel.
- 1:12:58Speaker 3: But if you just you know it also watching your eyes.
- 1:13:00Speaker 7: Yeah that's that's it's really you.
- 1:13:03Speaker 9: Just watch put on those like Google glasses.
- 1:13:05Speaker 7: Yeah yeah, so if you really wanted to do it,
- 1:13:06Speaker 7: you put on Google glasses and and and like tie
- 1:13:09Speaker 7: a T shirt to your steering wheel. So it looks
- 1:13:11Speaker 7: like there's arms there. I'm good. I'll just wait until
- 1:13:14Speaker 7: it's like really functional.
- 1:13:15Speaker 3: Sleep.
- 1:13:15Speaker 7: Well it is. Here's the things. It's fully functional right now,
- 1:13:18Speaker 7: I don't I don't look at the road at all anymore.
- 1:13:21Speaker 8: I've done the autopilot in Tesla before.
- 1:13:26Speaker 3: It was cool on a on a highway, a freeway,
- 1:13:28Speaker 3: but on.
- 1:13:29Speaker 8: City streets, like the exaggerated stops, it's hard breaking.
- 1:13:35Speaker 7: Yeah, but that's the thing is it's her key jerky.
- 1:13:37Speaker 8: I believe in the train and then you sit at
- 1:13:38Speaker 8: the stop sign for like what felt like five seconds.
- 1:13:41Speaker 7: The thing is they that's it's constantly upgrading, so it's
- 1:13:43Speaker 7: always a software upgrade. So like I just got one
- 1:13:45Speaker 7: recently and it's it's gotten really good. It dodges little
- 1:13:49Speaker 7: like branches in the road, so it's gonna save thousands
- 1:13:51Speaker 7: of little dugans, not to mention human lives, but yeah,
- 1:13:55Speaker 7: because it's it's constantly upgrading, they're costantly redoing that stuff,
- 1:13:57Speaker 7: which is a great part of How about having it
- 1:13:59Speaker 7: be software base as opposed to you know, buying a
- 1:14:02Speaker 7: whole new truck or.
- 1:14:03Speaker 3: Whatever eight seven seven forty four wooding. You could text
- 1:14:06Speaker 3: us over to two two nine eight seven. That's one
- 1:14:09Speaker 3: of the things now with my son starting to learn
- 1:14:13Speaker 3: how to drive, take the driving lessons and stuff. The
- 1:14:16Speaker 3: driving school was talking to his mom and I to
- 1:14:19Speaker 3: say like, hey, you know, as parents, as adults who
- 1:14:22Speaker 3: have been driving for so long, we have so many
- 1:14:24Speaker 3: bad habits that will fail him to test. So like
- 1:14:27Speaker 3: as you're as you're out there and you're driving, yeah,
- 1:14:30Speaker 3: well yeah, not stopping you know, you stop too far
- 1:14:32Speaker 3: ahead of where you're supposed to stop. You don't stop
- 1:14:36Speaker 3: thoroughly at a stop sign. Things like that, he's not
- 1:14:39Speaker 3: looking at the road. I'm not texting and driving. It's
- 1:14:43Speaker 3: all these things that you know as experienced, you know,
- 1:14:45Speaker 3: longtime drivers do like you don't think about, but when
- 1:14:48Speaker 3: there's a driving examiner there, like this kid's.
- 1:14:52Speaker 7: Gonna fail if they're driving the way that we drive.
- 1:14:55Speaker 13: Yeah, we don't fail. I sped up and they were like, yeah, exactly, alright.
- 1:15:00Speaker 3: More what he shows next.
- 1:15:01Speaker 7: Thing on fellow comrades in mediocrity.
- 1:15:05Speaker 3: I want you to listen very careful. You can all
- 1:15:07Speaker 3: go straight to have Wait a minute, it's been a
- 1:15:16Speaker 3: long time. Yeah, what the hell, what the helly, what
- 1:15:21Speaker 3: the hell, what.
- 1:15:24Speaker 11: The helly?
- 1:15:25Speaker 3: Yeah, I think it's time for some rock traffic.
- 1:15:27Speaker 5: Oh damn, what the helly Berry, That's what I've been saying.
- 1:15:34Speaker 3: Traffic sponsor by Whole Foods Market.
- 1:15:36Speaker 5: Hell yeah, Silmar, there is this massive multi car crash
- 1:15:41Speaker 5: with a couple of semi trucks involved.
- 1:15:43Speaker 3: One of them ended up dangling over this overpass.
- 1:15:47Speaker 8: You're gonna probably need some concrete repairs, so we gotta
- 1:15:49Speaker 8: send Gina out there, because you mix concrete for a living, right, Yeah.
- 1:15:55Speaker 3: You make me hard, that's for sure. Hell yeah.
- 1:15:58Speaker 5: Also Newport Beach. Wait, you're also a communist, I think, right,
- 1:16:04Speaker 5: because I feel an uprising in my lower class.
- 1:16:08Speaker 11: No.
- 1:16:08Speaker 5: Also a Newport Beach injury wreck. This is South seventy
- 1:16:13Speaker 5: three at Birch Street. A car flipped over. Hell yeah,
- 1:16:18Speaker 5: there's gonna be slow traffic from Bear Street.
- 1:16:22Speaker 3: Oh, Gina. I also think you're a haunted house, right.
- 1:16:27Speaker 5: Because I'm gonna scream when I got inside you.
- 1:16:30Speaker 7: I love that.
- 1:16:32Speaker 5: Also, there was a police activity in Westchester. Yeah, northbound
- 1:16:37Speaker 5: four of five between Howard Hughes Parkway and Jail Boulevard.
- 1:16:40Speaker 5: That's closed down because there was a chase, which pretty
- 1:16:43Speaker 5: much rules there's gonna be stop traffic from the one
- 1:16:47Speaker 5: oh five.
- 1:16:47Speaker 3: But enough about that, Gina. You're like an expense reports
- 1:16:52Speaker 3: that because I work on you all night, you know.
- 1:16:58Speaker 5: And you're also speaking of works, so you're a lot
- 1:17:01Speaker 5: like the coffee machine right down the hallway. Yeah, because
- 1:17:07Speaker 5: you're dirty and.
- 1:17:08Speaker 3: You keep me up, you know.
- 1:17:09Speaker 5: Hell yeah, save on organics the whole great market. Get organic, black, red,
- 1:17:20Speaker 5: and green seedless grapes with prime through June ninth. They
- 1:17:26Speaker 5: are the perfect summer snack. Hell yeah, wild supplies last

- 1:17:39Speaker 3: Dory, you got it would what the hell show? There
- 1:17:47Speaker 3: was another story?
- 1:17:49Speaker 7: Oh I know what it was.
- 1:17:50Speaker 3: It was the principal. You see the story about the
- 1:17:53Speaker 3: high school principle in Florida. She put like a quote
- 1:17:58Speaker 3: in the school's yearbook. It was from Fetti Wop Trap
- 1:18:01Speaker 3: Queen and it says, quote everybody hating we just call
- 1:18:07Speaker 3: them fans.
- 1:18:08Speaker 7: Though now she was a clean part of that song, Yeah,
- 1:18:11Speaker 7: pretty tame.
- 1:18:12Speaker 3: The school board didn't think, so they put her on
- 1:18:14Speaker 3: administratively with pay grege inappropriate conduct. But here's the thing
- 1:18:21Speaker 3: she says that she never said. It wrote it, or
- 1:18:24Speaker 3: you know, even approved that quote in the first place.
- 1:18:26Speaker 3: She said she was presented with the draft of the
- 1:18:28Speaker 3: whole thing before it was published, and then she signed
- 1:18:31Speaker 3: off on that and the quote was not in the draft.
- 1:18:35Speaker 3: Who's getting upset about this? How would she know?
- 1:18:39Speaker 7: How would she have any idea?
- 1:18:40Speaker 3: She's been receiving threats and harassment, and she has sent
- 1:18:44Speaker 3: that stuff to the cops. She's also hired a lawyer
- 1:18:46Speaker 3: to help with the next steps, you know, with it over.
- 1:18:50Speaker 9: Yeah, we are out a problem.
- 1:18:51Speaker 3: What was the direct quote?
- 1:18:53Speaker 2: Again?
- 1:18:53Speaker 3: The direct quote was, hold on, Greg, everybody hating we
- 1:19:00Speaker 3: just call them fans though it's from fetti wop song
- 1:19:03Speaker 3: trap queen, you know that?
- 1:19:04Speaker 9: So cares? Even if she did pick it, who cares?
- 1:19:07Speaker 9: That's not bad, that's so.
- 1:19:09Speaker 3: I mean, that's just a positive Messa, thank you?
- 1:19:12Speaker 7: I think yeah, oh yeah, I do. I do know
- 1:19:14Speaker 7: that song? Yeah, hold on, I know we got it.
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: Probably one of those Sammy type schools, you know.
- 1:19:19Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, Yellow Dancer. You've heard this right? You know this?
- 1:19:25Speaker 3: So on Sammy?
- 1:19:27Speaker 7: I don't think so, are you serious? How did you
- 1:19:30Speaker 7: miss this? I don't know? Double oh no, she's another
- 1:19:44Speaker 7: radio and she knows the dirty or yeah, the other
- 1:19:49Speaker 7: day version.
- 1:19:51Speaker 3: That's crazy.
- 1:19:52Speaker 7: You mean that wasn't the lyrics to some harm homework channel.
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: Credits, Yeah, it wasn't the intro What the hell?
- 1:19:59Speaker 3: Christmas Movie? Four? Woodie text over to two two nine

- 1:20:17Speaker 3: play d d iq d u iq, and we have
- 1:20:24Speaker 3: a contestant lined up here on the phone.
- 1:20:26Speaker 7: Won't you explain the way the game works? Everybody, please
- 1:20:28Speaker 7: see you mat I find someone nice and drunk, in
- 1:20:30Speaker 7: this case, someone nice and drunk and gay for prime,
- 1:20:37Speaker 7: ask them some super super easy trivia questions and any
- 1:20:41Speaker 7: straight our gay person would know if they weren't drunk.
- 1:20:44Speaker 7: So then you play the game by guessing is this
- 1:20:46Speaker 7: person so drunk that they won't know the answer. If
- 1:20:48Speaker 7: you can guess correctly twice out of three times, you win.
- 1:20:51Speaker 3: All right, let's say hi to our contestant. Let's say
- 1:20:53Speaker 3: hi to Jennifer. What's up, Jennifer? Good morning? Hi Jennifer guy.
- 1:21:00Speaker 7: Oh, thank you?
- 1:21:01Speaker 3: How are you? Jen? You all good?

- 1:21:06Speaker 2: I'm also gay, so.
- 1:21:09Speaker 7: Perfect.
- 1:21:10Speaker 3: We have a proud lesbian this is meant to be

- 1:21:17Speaker 3: the sea bass. Talk to you now, we're gonna get
- 1:21:18Speaker 3: to know this person a little bit better. It's that
- 1:21:20Speaker 3: way you can try to guess, uh, if they're gonna
- 1:21:22Speaker 3: get these answers right around? How with it? Now? Not
- 1:21:24Speaker 3: with it? Depending on what's going on here, we'll find
- 1:21:26Speaker 3: out who is this person's sea bass.
- 1:21:28Speaker 7: This is can and a little unusual. I'm we're getting
- 1:21:30Speaker 7: to know ken at the end of the interview. Sometimes
- 1:21:33Speaker 7: they just want to get into the questions, but I
- 1:21:34Speaker 7: try to get some bio at the end. And this
- 1:21:37Speaker 7: is some of the the So you hear me saying
- 1:21:39Speaker 7: goodbye to can't hear? But that's why.
- 1:21:40Speaker 3: All right, and you're not drunk?
- 1:21:41Speaker 11: Are you? Am?
- 1:21:44Speaker 3: I not drunk?
- 1:21:45Speaker 2: Oh?
- 1:21:45Speaker 7: My god?
- 1:21:46Speaker 4: I how much would I have to pay you to
- 1:21:51Speaker 4: do that to my private part?
- 1:21:53Speaker 3: Ah?
- 1:21:53Speaker 7: For free? Private?
- 1:21:57Speaker 3: Oh?
- 1:21:58Speaker 7: Not out in public though?
- 1:22:00Speaker 4: All right, Well we'll talk later on, but for right
- 1:22:03Speaker 4: now you have to go home. We're not going, but
- 1:22:06Speaker 4: thank you for the offer that good night. He touched
- 1:22:09Speaker 4: my wi iner.
- 1:22:11Speaker 13: Hey, now he's gone, all right, and you know again,
- 1:22:17Speaker 13: why not a compliment.
- 1:22:20Speaker 7: But he was nice about like, we're not going to
- 1:22:22Speaker 7: do it right here. Yeah, we're going to find.
- 1:22:25Speaker 3: He's a generous soul. All right. So that is that's Ken. Jennifer,
- 1:22:29Speaker 3: are you ready for the questions?
- 1:22:32Speaker 4: I am all right?
- 1:22:33Speaker 7: D U I Q question number one in electricity?
- 1:22:36Speaker 4: What do a C and d C stand for?
- 1:22:39Speaker 3: All right? Put me down for a triple No, I
- 1:22:45Speaker 3: don't know.
- 1:22:45Speaker 9: I might say no to Ken, no to Sammy, maybe
- 1:22:50Speaker 9: yes to Menace.
- 1:22:51Speaker 7: And this is not a giveaway, but he talks about
- 1:22:54Speaker 7: Nikola Tesla all the time.
- 1:22:55Speaker 9: He sure does, so he should know that.
- 1:22:57Speaker 3: And he used to be a TV salesman.
- 1:22:59Speaker 9: Yeah, I'm gonna say yes.
- 1:23:01Speaker 3: Yeah, he once worked at best Buy or somewhere. Okay,
- 1:23:06Speaker 3: so no to Ken. I'm gonna triple many things that
- 1:23:13Speaker 3: are powered. I should have an outlet, yeah, which is
- 1:23:18Speaker 3: exactly how the band got there. They just saw it there,
- 1:23:22Speaker 3: looked cool, Yeah, worked out? Yeah, some triple No, what
- 1:23:26Speaker 3: do you think you're Jennifer? Yes or no? Do you
- 1:23:28Speaker 3: think that I think Ken's gonna get it?
- 1:23:32Speaker 2: No way, no way, I'm sober, and I don't even
- 1:23:34Speaker 2: know the answer.
- 1:23:36Speaker 19: Question number one, D U I Q in electricity, what
- 1:23:40Speaker 19: do A C and D C stand for?
- 1:23:42Speaker 3: Let's go to the expert menace analog connected device, analog
- 1:23:48Speaker 3: connected device.
- 1:23:49Speaker 7: Or analog digital connection?
- 1:23:51Speaker 3: Well A C D C analog connection digital and then
- 1:23:55Speaker 3: there's one more C collectivity cars. Yeah, I guess cars, Sammy.
- 1:24:01Speaker 14: Adam charge D charge, Adam.
- 1:24:04Speaker 7: Charged, D charge, adam charge de charge charge. Now, I
- 1:24:08Speaker 7: mean I know.
- 1:24:10Speaker 16: I know.
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: It's the it's the way that the electricity is run. Okay, yeah,
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: I know the basics of it. I just in the
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: moment I can't remember.
- 1:24:19Speaker 3: Well, see if you can see if you can refresh
- 1:24:21Speaker 3: remember like tip them, like give them there was.
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: There was different like battles on the way that the
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: electricity would be ran. And then versus tesla. Yeah yeah, yeah,
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: Well the CEA is the same in both current.
- 1:24:33Speaker 7: Yeah. So there's a certain a certain type of current
- 1:24:38Speaker 7: and another type of current and they're not gonna get it,
- 1:24:40Speaker 7: so to say, alternating versus direct. Yeah, so DC A
- 1:24:45Speaker 7: lot of you see like DC batteries for instance, direct
- 1:24:48Speaker 7: that's the direct current. That's just that's electrons moving in
- 1:24:51Speaker 7: one direction. That's direct, alternating back and forth, back and
- 1:24:54Speaker 7: forth because one of the things, right, yeah, yeah, one
- 1:24:57Speaker 7: of the things I well, because one was way safer
- 1:25:00Speaker 7: than the other, right, And it was actually I think
- 1:25:02Speaker 7: the Chicago World's Fair that took that made it one
- 1:25:04Speaker 7: or the other. And it's actually interesting when you think
- 1:25:06Speaker 7: about electricity, A lot of folks myself included, I didn't
- 1:25:08Speaker 7: really study much think that the power plant is just
- 1:25:11Speaker 7: shooting you electronic goes straight from that power plant to
- 1:25:13Speaker 7: your house.
- 1:25:13Speaker 3: That's what I thought.
- 1:25:14Speaker 7: You know, they're all they're they're sitting in in the
- 1:25:16Speaker 7: in the wires, they're part of the wire themselves, and
- 1:25:20Speaker 7: it's just pushing a little bit and it's and the
- 1:25:22Speaker 7: one then it pops off the end of the wire
- 1:25:23Speaker 7: into your whatever your toaster.
- 1:25:25Speaker 12: Beep beep beep beep beep.
- 1:25:27Speaker 7: From from the copper or whatever else you're using.
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: Yeah, I told you that. My friends and I we
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: knocked out the power to our street with a kite
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: once because we had the kite wrap around the wires
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: and the touch and then we heard an explosion and
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: his mom comes, right now, you knocked out the power.
- 1:25:43Speaker 3: All right, Jennifer are contestant thinks that Ken will not
- 1:25:46Speaker 3: get this. Let's see if she gets her first point
- 1:25:47Speaker 3: in this round.
- 1:25:48Speaker 4: Of the d U i Q and electricity, what do
- 1:25:51Speaker 4: a C and D C stand for?
- 1:25:54Speaker 7: Air conditioning? And yeah, DC is Oh my god, I
- 1:25:59Speaker 7: don't hear.
- 1:25:59Speaker 3: The Okay, cool and okay.
- 1:26:08Speaker 8: I bet if we asked medicine Sammy that same question
- 1:26:11Speaker 8: right now, they probably didn't even retain it.
- 1:26:13Speaker 7: No, I didn't.
- 1:26:14Speaker 3: What is a C d C? Here? We'll go to
- 1:26:18Speaker 3: Sammy first question again?
- 1:26:19Speaker 7: Electricity?
- 1:26:20Speaker 4: What do a C and D C stand for?
- 1:26:23Speaker 3: Sammy?
- 1:26:25Speaker 14: Direct current and.
- 1:26:30Speaker 1: A C goes both ways? Analog current?
- 1:26:40Speaker 7: Used analog last time?
- 1:26:42Speaker 3: Okay, wow, good, good pick up. I didn't think you're
- 1:26:48Speaker 3: paying attention to the explanation.
- 1:26:50Speaker 7: We'll talk about the history of the current.
- 1:26:52Speaker 3: Jennifer, Congratulationsly got a point here. You only need one
- 1:26:56Speaker 3: more d U i Q.
- 1:26:58Speaker 19: Question number two in what country is the city of Dubai?
- 1:27:02Speaker 7: Menace? You have a major advantage here.
- 1:27:04Speaker 1: Yeah, because I been to Dubai.
- 1:27:07Speaker 7: In what country is the city of Dubai? I got
- 1:27:09Speaker 7: to ask you did they give you a stamp on
- 1:27:12Speaker 7: your passport? Because so often now they don't, they just digitally.
- 1:27:15Speaker 1: Because I had the global entry. So it's just facing
- 1:27:18Speaker 1: did leave.
- 1:27:18Speaker 3: The airport, so who knows? I stayed in the terminal
- 1:27:23Speaker 3: the entire time.
- 1:27:24Speaker 7: We're going to click stamps on our passports. A lot
- 1:27:26Speaker 7: of people they don't. Really it would be worth it
- 1:27:28Speaker 7: just to get the stamp.
- 1:27:30Speaker 3: I think you can somehow get it or something like
- 1:27:32Speaker 3: how you can get like a concert ticket. You can
- 1:27:34Speaker 3: get a yeah, like a like a what they call it,
- 1:27:37Speaker 3: like a souvenir stub Oh.
- 1:27:38Speaker 1: I'll be honest though, on the way back, I didn't
- 1:27:40Speaker 1: check because we were in the first class lounge and they.
- 1:27:43Speaker 3: Took our Yes, yes, yes, all right, So let's refresh
- 1:27:47Speaker 3: on the question.
- 1:27:48Speaker 4: There we go in what country is the city of Dubai?
- 1:27:51Speaker 3: All right? So I'm gonna say man, yes for Menace,
- 1:27:55Speaker 3: No for Sammy, no for Ken.
- 1:27:57Speaker 7: Agreed, Yeah, same.
- 1:27:58Speaker 9: I got burned last time, but I'm still with Menace
- 1:28:00Speaker 9: on this one.
- 1:28:01Speaker 3: All right. What do you think, Jennifer? Do you think
- 1:28:03Speaker 3: that Ken gets it right?
- 1:28:04Speaker 2: Yes?
- 1:28:05Speaker 3: Or no? All right?
- 1:28:08Speaker 7: Question number two? Do u i q? In?
- 1:28:10Speaker 4: What country is the city of Dubai?
- 1:28:12Speaker 3: All right?
- 1:28:13Speaker 7: Sammy?
- 1:28:14Speaker 12: Saudi Arabia?
- 1:28:15Speaker 3: Saudi Arabia? All right? Menace?
- 1:28:18Speaker 1: Now I'm not one hundred percent confident. But I put
- 1:28:20Speaker 1: United Emirates? Is that even considered a country?
- 1:28:24Speaker 7: You're missing one word?
- 1:28:25Speaker 11: Yeah?
- 1:28:26Speaker 1: Uh, United Emirates, those damn dirty I'm not finishing that.

- 1:32:30Speaker 7: To take kids on pony rides?
- 1:32:32Speaker 3: Ny Petty Zoo a writer, writer, rider writer. Yeah, no,
- 1:32:40Speaker 3: she has a rider, getting somebody rides her because she's
- 1:32:45Speaker 3: sea biscuit man. That's why the long face. It's your joke,
- 1:32:48Speaker 3: not me, all right. Question number three for the d
- 1:32:51Speaker 3: u i Q.
- 1:32:52Speaker 7: Two of the main characters on sex in the City.
- 1:32:57Speaker 1: Miranda Jessica Chirst character Jessica Parker's character.
- 1:33:06Speaker 3: Yeah, because that's how.
- 1:33:06Speaker 7: That works, Jessica Parker, all right, big dumps.
- 1:33:10Speaker 3: Very interesting round of the g u i Q. Interesting,
- 1:33:13Speaker 3: kind of scary.
- 1:33:16Speaker 4: In what country is the city of Dubai?
- 1:33:18Speaker 7: Menace Arabia? What Arabia, Arabia?
- 1:33:24Speaker 4: In what country is the city of Dubai?
- 1:33:27Speaker 1: United Emirates What Arabia.
- 1:33:31Speaker 9: United Emirates of Arabia?
- 1:33:33Speaker 4: In What country is the city of Dubai?
- 1:33:35Speaker 1: I just told you, okay, United Emirates, Arabia, Arabia United.
- 1:33:48Speaker 3: What is Morgan's actual birthday? Is it tomorrow?
- 1:33:51Speaker 7: Oh? It's tomorrow? It is? Where's Morgan got her all
- 1:33:55Speaker 7: these cakes? Since she hasn't had one, where's that Morgan?
- 1:33:59Speaker 7: Because usually that's the birthday person has got to cut
- 1:34:01Speaker 7: into it first. That's the rule. We have three cakes
- 1:34:03Speaker 7: and we have an entree as well.
- 1:34:05Speaker 3: I did see that. Where do those come from?
- 1:34:09Speaker 7: Happy birthday?
- 1:34:10Speaker 3: Morgan birthday?
- 1:34:13Speaker 6: I know, let's not talk about it. I told minutes,
- 1:34:17Speaker 6: not yet, not till tomorrow. I told minutes to get
- 1:34:20Speaker 6: into the cakes. What have you all been doing?
- 1:34:22Speaker 11: Well?
- 1:34:22Speaker 3: Because the birthday person has to be the one to
- 1:34:24Speaker 3: take the first piece.
- 1:34:26Speaker 6: Okay, that's tradish Okay, but why why wait?
- 1:34:30Speaker 3: Because that's the rule, it's polite.
- 1:34:32Speaker 6: Yeah, your birthday, even though I already said this morning,
- 1:34:35Speaker 6: like go ahead.
- 1:34:35Speaker 7: Yeah, yeah, no, we.
- 1:34:36Speaker 3: Could, but like it's it's it's like bad luck. You
- 1:34:38Speaker 3: can't do it.
- 1:34:39Speaker 7: You could. Let's just just take one and bring it
- 1:34:40Speaker 7: in your little studio with you so we can throw away.
- 1:34:43Speaker 2: Make it.
- 1:34:44Speaker 7: Yeah, you're not going to eat it?
- 1:34:45Speaker 3: God, no, what a piece of your own birthday cake.
- 1:34:48Speaker 6: I'm not getting fat on behalf of it. Things to
- 1:34:54Speaker 6: do with my body, get gross?
- 1:34:58Speaker 14: Birthday the problem?
- 1:35:00Speaker 12: Yeah, you're fine, but let's go. I'm thinking more of
- 1:35:03Speaker 12: next week.
- 1:35:03Speaker 7: It looks yea swim suits, photo shooters.
- 1:35:08Speaker 12: Yeah, sure, I'll eat the cake.
- 1:35:11Speaker 3: You gotta have a piece of your birthday cake. I
- 1:35:12Speaker 3: mean I don't have to.
- 1:35:15Speaker 12: I'm a bad guy because I don't want to put
- 1:35:17Speaker 12: bad stuff in my body.
- 1:35:18Speaker 3: But what's next week?
- 1:35:20Speaker 12: I'm going to the White House?
- 1:35:21Speaker 3: Right the.
- 1:35:23Speaker 7: Put the first traps at man tracks.
- 1:35:28Speaker 3: Yeah, look there's look one of them has a carrot
- 1:35:30Speaker 3: right on the top of it.
- 1:35:31Speaker 7: There will be a lot of very rich people there. Yeah,
- 1:35:34Speaker 7: I know who wouldn't want to s.
- 1:35:38Speaker 3: Are you going to meet up with your want to
- 1:35:39Speaker 3: be boyfriend?
- 1:35:41Speaker 7: Yes? Okay, there is, Okay.
- 1:35:43Speaker 3: There it is the one. Yeah. I had no idea
- 1:35:46Speaker 3: that Tyler was going.
- 1:35:46Speaker 6: But no, no's weird because it's like simmer down and
- 1:35:55Speaker 6: then now it's back again.
- 1:35:56Speaker 3: Yeah. Well that's that's that's how that works.
- 1:35:59Speaker 7: That's how that Well, happy birthday.
- 1:36:02Speaker 12: Thank you guys so much.
- 1:36:03Speaker 7: Besides, what do you show?
- 1:36:03Speaker 3: Prom ure you doing anything this weekend for your birthday?
- 1:36:07Speaker 12: No?
- 1:36:08Speaker 7: No promp nothing tonight.
- 1:36:10Speaker 3: No like going Yeah it doesn't neat going out's like
- 1:36:13Speaker 3: a nice dinner. Yeah, I'm gonna do my birthday Greg.
- 1:36:15Speaker 3: I'm gonna go to the gym. I'm gonna work out
- 1:36:17Speaker 3: extra hard. I think I might do it too a
- 1:36:20Speaker 3: day tat.
- 1:36:21Speaker 6: I will and our buddy Wacko's gonna go. We're gonna
- 1:36:23Speaker 6: film some stuff today. So yeah, it'll have fun.
- 1:36:25Speaker 3: Okay, that does sound fun. What are you gonna do
- 1:36:27Speaker 3: for your birthday? I'm gonna film myself working out the gym.
- 1:36:31Speaker 7: Check it out. I mean, I'm happy for you.
- 1:36:32Speaker 12: It's cool. It is what I like to do.
- 1:36:34Speaker 3: Though, it's a right up there with that one. One
- 1:36:36Speaker 3: man's trash is another man's treasure. Like it sounds that
- 1:36:39Speaker 3: sounds like a nightmare, that sounds like a punishment.
- 1:36:42Speaker 12: It's awesome.
- 1:36:42Speaker 3: Yeah, but it's great for her. Well, happy birthday, Thank you.
- 1:36:45Speaker 3: I love your congratulations. I'm thirty five. It's not that bad,
- 1:36:56Speaker 3: all right.
- 1:36:56Speaker 7: Well.
- 1:36:57Speaker 3: Uh.
- 1:36:59Speaker 7: Another lawsuit in the news.
- 1:37:02Speaker 3: A woman in Virginia suing Outback Steakhouse for one point
- 1:37:06Speaker 3: five million dollars, claiming that she slipped on what appeared
- 1:37:09Speaker 3: to be what walking into the restaurant a bloomin onion.
- 1:37:16Speaker 3: According to the lawsuit, the fall caused her to land
- 1:37:20Speaker 3: face first on the floor, gave her serious long term
- 1:37:23Speaker 3: physical and emotional injuries, along with medical expenses and the
- 1:37:27Speaker 3: reduced ability to work. Did it out Back is a
- 1:37:32Speaker 3: fighting lawsuit?
- 1:37:33Speaker 7: Well?
- 1:37:33Speaker 3: They always it was Trump, you know they you know,
- 1:37:37Speaker 3: they exaggerate a bit. You know, I'm not saying it
- 1:37:40Speaker 3: didn't suck. You land on your face. Yeah like that
- 1:37:43Speaker 3: that that would suck. But yeah, uh. Outback is disputing
- 1:37:50Speaker 3: the extent of the woman's injuries and they're they're fighting it.
- 1:37:54Speaker 3: So they're not just like Cavid. She was one point
- 1:37:56Speaker 3: five millions a lot simple fallover bloomin onion for a
- 1:37:59Speaker 3: whe Yeah, one point five million bucks slipping on blue
- 1:38:04Speaker 3: onion mashed potatoes.
- 1:38:10Speaker 1: They are pretty slimmy once they hit the floor, they are.
- 1:38:14Speaker 7: It's like all other times.
- 1:38:15Speaker 3: Yeah, hey nice, I'll follow up after the DUIQ and
- 1:38:19Speaker 3: what we know and what we don't know. More than
- 1:38:22Speaker 3: thirty five percent of students that you see Berkeley's introductory
- 1:38:25Speaker 3: computer science course failed in the spring of this year.
- 1:38:31Speaker 3: Instructors are linking the sudden drop and performance to widespread
- 1:38:34Speaker 3: AI use because the students are relying on tools like
- 1:38:38Speaker 3: chatcheatpt to complete their homework, which means they're not building
- 1:38:41Speaker 3: the underlying programming and problem solving skills that the classes
- 1:38:45Speaker 3: are designed to teach.
- 1:38:46Speaker 7: As we've been saying, so when.
- 1:38:47Speaker 3: Exams and in person assessments require independent thinking, those gaps
- 1:38:51Speaker 3: are very visible, leading to much higher failure rates.
- 1:38:55Speaker 7: I could see that for an introductory math class, but
- 1:38:57Speaker 7: you're not in an introductory computer science class unless you
- 1:39:00Speaker 7: want to do computer science. So you'd think those people
- 1:39:02Speaker 7: would be extra motivated. Like when I took the teaching
- 1:39:05Speaker 7: exam thing and like a third of those people fail too,
- 1:39:08Speaker 7: Like like, well, these are the people that want to
- 1:39:09Speaker 7: be teachers. How do you fail this test? Are they
- 1:39:11Speaker 7: just lazy? It's pretty much. You think it's laziness that
- 1:39:14Speaker 7: if you're at Berkeley CS class computer science, you you've
- 1:39:18Speaker 7: got to be pretty smart, you'd think just to get
- 1:39:20Speaker 7: in right. Well that but they but they keep cutting
- 1:39:22Speaker 7: the SATs and acts.
- 1:39:24Speaker 3: That's true.
- 1:39:26Speaker 14: And if you used AI in high school to get.
- 1:39:28Speaker 3: In right good point of dumb dumbs, you never gonna
- 1:39:31Speaker 3: end up working at SpaceX that way. You know what
- 1:39:33Speaker 3: I'm saying.
- 1:39:34Speaker 1: I used to live by the campus for a second.
- 1:39:37Speaker 1: They did have a pretty cool, great place, so i'd
- 1:39:39Speaker 1: be there all. Oh they did instead of study it's smarter.
- 1:39:41Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:39:42Speaker 3: So what's interesting is that you know my son and
- 1:39:45Speaker 3: the stuff that he's the school that you know, the
- 1:39:48Speaker 3: way that they're working things is that it's totally not
- 1:39:53Speaker 3: out of like out of bounds using AI. It can't
- 1:39:58Speaker 3: be right. They're going to do it. So like when
- 1:39:59Speaker 3: it to studying someone like he had this tutor and
- 1:40:04Speaker 3: then there's like a couple of the teeth, Like they
- 1:40:05Speaker 3: were telling him how to get AI and use it
- 1:40:09Speaker 3: as a study assistant because you could do that thing
- 1:40:13Speaker 3: where you talk to it, yeah, right, and it'll basically
- 1:40:17Speaker 3: give you questions and then you answer it and then
- 1:40:20Speaker 3: it tells you if you're right or wrong, and then
- 1:40:23Speaker 3: how you are wrong. If you are, like, it'll say,
- 1:40:26Speaker 3: well you had that first part right. But actually bubba bahah. Yeah.
- 1:40:29Speaker 3: So like he was doing he was doing something with chemistry, right,
- 1:40:32Speaker 3: And I was like, wait, are you sure, because here
- 1:40:34Speaker 3: I'd think I'm like, you know, I'm coming down on im, like,
- 1:40:36Speaker 3: hey man, that's you can't be that's cheating. You can't
- 1:40:38Speaker 3: do that.
- 1:40:39Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:40:39Speaker 3: He's like no, And he explained to me how they
- 1:40:42Speaker 3: told him because how to use it, which is smart
- 1:40:45Speaker 3: because it's not going away and so you should know
- 1:40:49Speaker 3: how to use it and if you could use it
- 1:40:51Speaker 3: for something like that.
- 1:40:52Speaker 7: Good AI should be picking up on it should be
- 1:40:54Speaker 7: picking up on how good you are and working you
- 1:40:56Speaker 7: through it at your own pace. Now, but it's not
- 1:41:00Speaker 7: quite there, Like I said, I was, I was doing
- 1:41:02Speaker 7: practice elsat questions in.
- 1:41:03Speaker 3: My car and you use it the same way.
- 1:41:06Speaker 7: But but it was getting things wrong. So like it
- 1:41:09Speaker 7: was because it still lies to you. And but it's
- 1:41:12Speaker 7: so super confident when it lies, so annoying. Well it's
- 1:41:15Speaker 7: so passive aggressive when you call it out. Oh I'm sorry,
- 1:41:17Speaker 7: I did not.
- 1:41:18Speaker 9: Even I'm certain, like you know what, maybe yeah, sure
- 1:41:20Speaker 9: it's possible.
- 1:41:21Speaker 1: And also we're just talking about test scores, so we're
- 1:41:23Speaker 1: talking about people taking the test, whether they don't have
- 1:41:25Speaker 1: access to this stuff.
- 1:41:26Speaker 7: Yeah, I think there's certain things that you know you
- 1:41:29Speaker 7: should know, and there's because there's you know, proficiency is
- 1:41:33Speaker 7: a thing like really knowing what you're talking about. It's
- 1:41:37Speaker 7: not just checking a box, right, yeah, that's life.
- 1:41:40Speaker 3: Yeah, and so like I just know, Okay, So for
- 1:41:44Speaker 3: flight lessons, flight training, learning the flight planes, there are
- 1:41:47Speaker 3: these programs because you have to take a written test
- 1:41:52Speaker 3: with the FAA and you do basically said online ground
- 1:41:56Speaker 3: school where you're going through all the regular instruction. There's video,
- 1:42:00Speaker 3: there's reading, there's all kinds of stuff and you do
- 1:42:02Speaker 3: test prep so you practice tests right. Well, there are
- 1:42:07Speaker 3: services out there that provide all the questions. They somehow
- 1:42:12Speaker 3: have the whole testing bank of questions and it just
- 1:42:16Speaker 3: shows you the right answer, So it becomes route memory.
- 1:42:19Speaker 3: You're not learning anything. You don't know any some of
- 1:42:22Speaker 3: this really important stuff that you should know, But people
- 1:42:24Speaker 3: are going in there and getting one hundred.
- 1:42:26Speaker 7: Percent in the sky the right answer.
- 1:42:29Speaker 3: Yeah, because you know by the wording of the question,
- 1:42:33Speaker 3: it'll do something like, all right, well, if if it's
- 1:42:36Speaker 3: asking for diagram one fourteen, the answer is the lowest
- 1:42:39Speaker 3: of the three options. I have to remember, if you're.
- 1:42:42Speaker 9: Taking a test to defy gravity, you shouldn't be doing that.
- 1:42:45Speaker 3: Yeah. Now I did not. I did not use that.
- 1:42:50Speaker 3: It was always so I was already so far down
- 1:42:52Speaker 3: the road on what I was already using. I'm like,
- 1:42:54Speaker 3: first of all, I feel like it's pretty important to
- 1:42:55Speaker 3: know this stuff because I do value my life exactly.
- 1:42:59Speaker 3: But also like, I'm so far down the road on
- 1:43:01Speaker 3: this other one. I don't just start over because you
- 1:43:04Speaker 3: have to follow. If you follow it the way it's prescribed,
- 1:43:08Speaker 3: they say you're going to score at least a ninety percent,
- 1:43:11Speaker 3: if not one hundred percent.
- 1:43:13Speaker 8: But I think it's along the same lines as Cebets
- 1:43:15Speaker 8: was saying. These UC Berkeley computer science students, they're there
- 1:43:18Speaker 8: for a reason they should know this stuff and want
- 1:43:20Speaker 8: to know this stuff. I think if you're learning how
- 1:43:22Speaker 8: to fly, you're going to want to learn it.
- 1:43:24Speaker 3: You would want to. But these guys are like, no,
- 1:43:26Speaker 3: I think I want to skate through my tests. But
- 1:43:28Speaker 3: these guys aren't either.
- 1:43:30Speaker 7: It was using AI right, yea, they are doing it.
- 1:43:32Speaker 3: Did they really know? I mean when it comes down
- 1:43:35Speaker 3: to being up in the sky. No, No, I'm saying,
- 1:43:37Speaker 3: like these students who are just you know, using the
- 1:43:40Speaker 3: AI to do all this stuff that they don't really understand.
- 1:43:43Speaker 3: You would think you would think that they'd want to
- 1:43:45Speaker 3: like and I think that's the point. You would think
- 1:43:47Speaker 3: this would be a subject they're interested in. Like if
- 1:43:49Speaker 3: my son, if my son had to take a class
- 1:43:51Speaker 3: about hockey, I would expect that he would they would
- 1:43:55Speaker 3: have his full attention.
- 1:43:57Speaker 7: And you could argue, and that's in this specific case, Well,
- 1:44:00Speaker 7: you can't use a computer now without using AI. It's
- 1:44:03Speaker 7: as for instance, with the flight training, there's a good
- 1:44:05Speaker 7: chance you might be in the sky and things go
- 1:44:07Speaker 7: bad and you need to know it, know.
- 1:44:08Speaker 3: It right exactly?
- 1:44:10Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly, that's the thing they.
- 1:44:16Speaker 3: Up there.
- 1:44:17Speaker 7: Yeah, I do.
- 1:44:19Speaker 3: And it's kind of funny when they talk about like
- 1:44:21Speaker 3: lost lost coms, like when you lose your radios and
- 1:44:24Speaker 3: stuff like that, Like if there's a malfunction whatever. Now
- 1:44:26Speaker 3: all of a sudden, you're up there. You can't speak
- 1:44:28Speaker 3: to air traffic Control. What are you supposed to do?
- 1:44:29Speaker 3: I'm like, well, I can call them on my phone.
- 1:44:33Speaker 3: If you have starlink. You have the plane has like
- 1:44:35Speaker 3: a satellite phone built into it. You can you can
- 1:44:38Speaker 3: text from it. I'm like, I think we're good. If
- 1:44:41Speaker 3: the actual radio goes out, we're still fine. Now, technically,
- 1:44:44Speaker 3: by the book, there's a whole procedure you would follow. Yeah,
- 1:44:47Speaker 3: but yeah, some of that stuff was written so long ago.
- 1:44:49Speaker 3: You got to say, like f nine er right right,
- 1:44:52Speaker 3: it doesn't even matter because no one's going to hear you, dude,
- 1:44:56Speaker 3: because the radios is out.
- 1:44:57Speaker 7: You just say, hey, I'm in the blue plane. Yeah
- 1:44:59Speaker 7: that's right, Yep, yep.
- 1:45:01Speaker 1: Do you know how the bridge with the screen on it,
- 1:45:04Speaker 1: somebody it's the doorbell. It automatically pops up on the refrigerator.
- 1:45:09Speaker 3: Because most of the time menace is in the kitchen. Yeah,
- 1:45:12Speaker 3: they show all right, So I want to go back
- 1:45:15Speaker 3: to something that we were talking about earlier. Somebody said
- 1:45:18Speaker 3: they saw sea Bass out in the wild and he
- 1:45:22Speaker 3: was using his angle grinder to remove one of the nests,
- 1:45:28Speaker 3: the nuisance nuisance signs that were chained to utility polls
- 1:45:32Speaker 3: and other things of that name advertising you know whatever
- 1:45:35Speaker 3: store business or window tinting or bape shop or whatever
- 1:45:39Speaker 3: is illegal. Yeah. Anyway, so we were we were discussing
- 1:45:41Speaker 3: this and Menace looked up something to see is he
- 1:45:46Speaker 3: breaking the laws.
- 1:45:47Speaker 1: And kind of looked back, can he get in trouble
- 1:45:49Speaker 1: for removing these illegal signs? And he said that he
- 1:45:52Speaker 1: could be cited for trespassing theft.
- 1:45:55Speaker 3: And Sea Bess had some follow up questions, which, of course,
- 1:45:57Speaker 3: you know, none of us are lawyers or smart at all,
- 1:45:59Speaker 3: so I decided to reach out to I mean, we
- 1:46:02Speaker 3: know lawyers. And the first person that came to mind
- 1:46:05Speaker 3: when it comes to that kind of thing is the
- 1:46:07Speaker 3: person who represents the cartnarks, you guys. And he's on
- 1:46:11Speaker 3: the phone right now. And finally got ahold of Darren Cavanoki.
- 1:46:15Speaker 7: What's up, dude?
- 1:46:18Speaker 3: Sorry in jail? Okay, no, no, no, nobody's in jail
- 1:46:24Speaker 3: all right. So you are familiar, you've dealt with sea bass,
- 1:46:27Speaker 3: you have an experience with the with the cart narks
- 1:46:30Speaker 3: and different than you advised him on on different things
- 1:46:34Speaker 3: about That's why we know we no longer do the
- 1:46:35Speaker 3: pit maneuver, right, Sea Bass?
- 1:46:37Speaker 7: All right, Darren? Darren knows that my motives are pure
- 1:46:41Speaker 7: in all that I do. But he's also very good
- 1:46:43Speaker 7: because he knows the different legal angles. And yes, he
- 1:46:46Speaker 7: guides me to leak even avoid any sniff of legal problems.
- 1:46:51Speaker 2: I think I think the phrase well intentioned but poorly executed.
- 1:46:55Speaker 7: He helps, he helps in that, he helps, He helped
- 1:46:58Speaker 7: the execution be less poor.
- 1:47:01Speaker 3: All right, So, Darren, the situation here is that Sea
- 1:47:05Speaker 3: Bass will, on occasion, in the first light of day
- 1:47:09Speaker 3: or sometimes after the sun has set, he will take
- 1:47:12Speaker 3: it upot himself to go around areas of his neighborhood.
- 1:47:15Speaker 3: And you've seen those like a frame signs that people
- 1:47:18Speaker 3: will put up and they'll bike lock it to a
- 1:47:22Speaker 3: street meeting, a street meter or the yeah, the light
- 1:47:25Speaker 3: post or something, and it sits there. Now, Sea Bass
- 1:47:29Speaker 3: has an issue with these because I sores sores.
- 1:47:32Speaker 7: And also the city has an issue with them because
- 1:47:34Speaker 7: the city has I just looked it up finds built
- 1:47:36Speaker 7: in and those finds escalate for second and third defenses.
- 1:47:38Speaker 3: By the way, Yeah, so the question that we have here,
- 1:47:41Speaker 3: you know people do this all the time, but is
- 1:47:43Speaker 3: Sea Bass is he is he putting himself at risk
- 1:47:47Speaker 3: in any way legally? Because is that technically not somebody's property,
- 1:47:51Speaker 3: even if it is chained to other property that's not theirs.
- 1:47:54Speaker 3: Isn't that still their property?
- 1:47:56Speaker 2: It was so okay, this is not something I imagine
- 1:48:01Speaker 2: a lot of courts have taken up.
- 1:48:05Speaker 7: A good point.
- 1:48:05Speaker 2: First of all, for all your listeners out there. The
- 1:48:08Speaker 2: laws in your jurisdiction may vary, but you know here
- 1:48:12Speaker 2: here's the general rule of thumb. If you didn't if
- 1:48:16Speaker 2: it's not your property, like, don't mess with it.
- 1:48:19Speaker 3: See this?
- 1:48:19Speaker 7: What are you doing now, Darren? I understand that sentiment,
- 1:48:23Speaker 7: certainly I do. It's not their property. But Darren, once
- 1:48:26Speaker 7: you abandon property, for example, in your trash can behind
- 1:48:31Speaker 7: your house or in this case, on these chained illegally
- 1:48:34Speaker 7: to a utility poll for months, if not years on end,
- 1:48:38Speaker 7: aren't you Are you not abandoning This is not a
- 1:48:40Speaker 7: bike that was locked up in a bike rack, for instance,
- 1:48:43Speaker 7: Are you not abandoning claim to said property?
- 1:48:46Speaker 2: Well? I don't know necessarily that you're abandoning your claim
- 1:48:50Speaker 2: to that property. The problem is, once it a fix
- 1:48:53Speaker 2: to something, does it then become part of it? But
- 1:48:56Speaker 2: under any circumstances, it's not fricking yours agree. I would
- 1:49:00Speaker 2: think I would think you'd be better off your concerns
- 1:49:05Speaker 2: to somebody who actually has jurisdiction.
- 1:49:07Speaker 7: Over that, and that's what my research said. Now you
- 1:49:10Speaker 7: should be contact. This is this is exactly where the
- 1:49:13Speaker 7: problem lies. Yeah, has had issues. And you know this
- 1:49:18Speaker 7: to Darren. If I if I go and I say
- 1:49:20Speaker 7: to I take a photo of this thing which is
- 1:49:22Speaker 7: legally affixed to a public utility poll, and I submit
- 1:49:25Speaker 7: it to the proper authorities, what are the chances, Darren?
- 1:49:28Speaker 7: Would you say that they right on? It will be
- 1:49:30Speaker 7: right out?
- 1:49:31Speaker 3: What is it between negative ten percent? But I don't
- 1:49:34Speaker 3: know if that's the point.
- 1:49:35Speaker 9: That is the point that they're not going to do
- 1:49:37Speaker 9: anything about it.
- 1:49:38Speaker 7: So he does something.
- 1:49:39Speaker 3: Exactly, but I think I don't think the point is like,
- 1:49:41Speaker 3: I don't think that then gives you like the authority
- 1:49:43Speaker 3: to then go do that.
- 1:49:45Speaker 1: I mean I would at least do that first, because
- 1:49:47Speaker 1: if I got arrested, what do you say there?
- 1:49:50Speaker 3: You're you're the expert here. What do you say, Oh,
- 1:49:52Speaker 3: well we lost.
- 1:49:54Speaker 7: We lost the call hold on, hold on, yeah, uh yeah,
- 1:49:59Speaker 7: that he just got.
- 1:50:02Speaker 8: But in a way, I think the answer is yes,
- 1:50:04Speaker 8: you know, they won't do anything about it.
- 1:50:07Speaker 1: Well, at least proved that they didn't do.
- 1:50:08Speaker 7: Darren's response is correct from a legal point of view,
- 1:50:10Speaker 7: it is, hey don't. Well, all lawyers will say just
- 1:50:15Speaker 7: don't do anything that could possibly get you in any
- 1:50:17Speaker 7: kind of trouble. That's that's me. That is the responsible,
- 1:50:20Speaker 7: loyally response. I totally get that. But we get lawyers
- 1:50:24Speaker 7: because we do things all right.
- 1:50:27Speaker 3: Sorry, I don't know what happened, So menace when you
- 1:50:30Speaker 3: read whatever it said, Like, what did they say?
- 1:50:32Speaker 7: It said?
- 1:50:33Speaker 1: Reach out to your local No, oh, you can't get
- 1:50:36Speaker 1: cited for trespassing. You can get vandalism and theft charges.
- 1:50:44Speaker 2: Yeah. And so once again, I'm gonna say, the laws
- 1:50:47Speaker 2: in your jurisdiction may vary if you but if you're so, look,
- 1:50:53Speaker 2: I'm going to give you two answers. Number one, let
- 1:50:56Speaker 2: me tell you what my general take is. And number two,
- 1:50:59Speaker 2: I'm going to tell you what I would do in
- 1:51:00Speaker 2: that situation. So in my general take is that, especially
- 1:51:06Speaker 2: if you are having to go on to somebody else's property.
- 1:51:09Speaker 2: You're dealing with property that's not yours. You should just
- 1:51:13Speaker 2: stay the hell away because it is potentially trespassing when
- 1:51:17Speaker 2: you're on property that does blunk yours, vandalism if it's
- 1:51:20Speaker 2: being destroyed, so it could be problematic. However, if I'm
- 1:51:25Speaker 2: in a real life situation where I'm now defending SeaBASS,
- 1:51:28Speaker 2: the answer is, of course, one hundred percent absolutely not guilty.
- 1:51:33Speaker 7: Thank you, good lawyer. We'll keep you from getting well,
- 1:51:39Speaker 7: we'll give you the prophylactic, we'll keep you from getting
- 1:51:41Speaker 7: from trouble in the first place. But a great lawyer,
- 1:51:43Speaker 7: a Darren Kavanoke will realize that when the things happen life,
- 1:51:48Speaker 7: life happens, as they say, and he will make sure
- 1:51:50Speaker 7: to get you off.
- 1:51:51Speaker 9: Okay, But one way or another, Darren, I said the
- 1:51:56Speaker 9: same thing. That's why I keep using your unvandalism because
- 1:51:59Speaker 9: I think he unvandalize the light post.
- 1:52:01Speaker 3: Yeah. Well, yeah, because if it's if it's like a situation,
- 1:52:04Speaker 3: he's on the public sidewalk, the public streets, right.
- 1:52:08Speaker 7: Yeah, the whole trespassing destruction thing is sort of off
- 1:52:11Speaker 7: the table, uh, to the for the most part.
- 1:52:15Speaker 11: You know, if it truly is a beautification project, they may.
- 1:52:22Speaker 7: That's well, this goes back to Darren's first point is
- 1:52:27Speaker 7: that they don't care. You know, who's going to stop me.
- 1:52:30Speaker 7: I'll have to be doing something else. I'd be doing
- 1:52:32Speaker 7: something real bad for someone to even number one take
- 1:52:34Speaker 7: notice at number two, what cop is gonna want to
- 1:52:35Speaker 7: sit there do the paperwork of locking me up throwing
- 1:52:38Speaker 7: the back of the cruiser.
- 1:52:39Speaker 3: Darren other than this uh cutting, you know, signs off
- 1:52:42Speaker 3: the light post conversation. That question for you when you
- 1:52:45Speaker 3: advise Sea Bass on cart and ARC's stuff, like what's
- 1:52:49Speaker 3: your general when like, what's your general advice? Rule thumb
- 1:52:53Speaker 3: for him when it comes to that stuff.
- 1:52:56Speaker 2: Be careful because people be crazy. Yeah, yeah, it's it's
- 1:53:01Speaker 2: the one. I mean, all joking aside. You just never
- 1:53:05Speaker 2: know who you're going to encounter out there. And I'll
- 1:53:09Speaker 2: constantly impressed upon Sea Bass that his life is worth
- 1:53:12Speaker 2: more than the rating bump. But no, I mean it's amazing.
- 1:53:17Speaker 3: I'll tell you that.
- 1:53:18Speaker 2: The number of people, the you know, views and the
- 1:53:22Speaker 2: like who say, oh I heard your name invoked on
- 1:53:27Speaker 2: cart n Arcs like that disconnect.
- 1:53:30Speaker 7: There's no but that kind of line rights.
- 1:53:32Speaker 4: Luddy, vulgar and abusive language.
- 1:53:34Speaker 5: That's an automatic disconnect.
- 1:53:35Speaker 7: You've got a dirty.
- 1:53:36Speaker 3: Horsh mouth here. Here's here's the question for you when
- 1:53:40Speaker 3: it comes to the stuff that he can or can't do,
- 1:53:41Speaker 3: because people are always saying, oh, you can't videotape me,
- 1:53:44Speaker 3: or you don't have my or like you know, like
- 1:53:47Speaker 3: the magnets for example, ven though it's vandalism.
- 1:53:52Speaker 7: They throw around the word harassment, harassment.
- 1:53:54Speaker 3: Is any of that stuff problematic? Or is sea bass
- 1:53:56Speaker 3: truly in the clear?
- 1:53:58Speaker 2: There? So harassment, especially towards people in public, like, there's
- 1:54:05Speaker 2: a line, right, it depends. There's certain things you're allowed
- 1:54:08Speaker 2: to say, certain things that you're not, certain ways you
- 1:54:13Speaker 2: have to conduct yourself. Right that virtually every state in
- 1:54:16Speaker 2: the country is going to have some law about criminal threats, right,
- 1:54:20Speaker 2: So not everything is fair game. However, when people are
- 1:54:24Speaker 2: out in public, they don't have a right to complete privacy,
- 1:54:29Speaker 2: especially when you're talking about something related to their cars
- 1:54:33Speaker 2: when we're in a parking lot. Because so you know,
- 1:54:37Speaker 2: the idea that somebody gets to go through a bliss
- 1:54:40Speaker 2: free existence, especially when they're doing something as socially destructive,
- 1:54:45Speaker 2: is not returning their You know, I'll take Sea bass
- 1:54:48Speaker 2: aside on this every time.
- 1:54:49Speaker 7: And Darren, right, he's hitting on something really important there,
- 1:54:53Speaker 7: because a lot of people say harassment is a conversation
- 1:54:55Speaker 7: I don't like, but real harassment and people when you
- 1:54:58Speaker 7: look up with people who get arrest for harassment, like Darren,
- 1:55:01Speaker 7: Darren is saying there, that almost always involves threats of
- 1:55:05Speaker 7: harm violence, Like you said, criminal threats. A conversation that
- 1:55:09Speaker 7: you don't like because you got caught doing something bad
- 1:55:11Speaker 7: does not fall under that harassment.
- 1:55:12Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, you know, I think the details really do matter,
- 1:55:16Speaker 2: you know, the tone of voice, the spirit in which
- 1:55:20Speaker 2: those remarks are offered. It's not it's it's not something
- 1:55:25Speaker 2: that traditionally will run afoul.
- 1:55:27Speaker 7: Of the law.
- 1:55:27Speaker 2: Right, It's got some some threat about doing physical harm
- 1:55:31Speaker 2: with the ability to immediately carry that.
- 1:55:33Speaker 7: Out, which I get in return all the time.
- 1:55:35Speaker 3: I get that gets Yeah, yeah, Agent Sebastian is not
- 1:55:39Speaker 3: dishing that out.
- 1:55:40Speaker 7: He's taking a lot. But to this earlier point about
- 1:55:44Speaker 7: me not maybe coming home one day, quote braveheart, every
- 1:55:48Speaker 7: man dies, not every man really lives.
- 1:55:51Speaker 3: Okay, Well, hey, Darren Kavanocci, everybody, Yeah, how's how's everything going?
- 1:55:58Speaker 7: And then good saying, Buss.
- 1:56:00Speaker 2: Everything is great, everything is great. Us has not been
- 1:56:04Speaker 2: in custody for a long time.
- 1:56:05Speaker 7: Yeah, I feel like my life is easy.
- 1:56:07Speaker 12: Thank you.
- 1:56:07Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah, I mean you want to work for the
- 1:56:10Speaker 3: rest of your life. You're going to retire at some point, Like,
- 1:56:12Speaker 3: what are the plans here?
- 1:56:14Speaker 2: Uh No, I'm pretty type man. I think I'm gonna
- 1:56:19Speaker 2: die with a briefcase in my hand. Yeah.
- 1:56:21Speaker 3: It's been a very successful lawyer for a long time,
- 1:56:24Speaker 3: and at some point I think he'd like to just
- 1:56:26Speaker 3: become like a kept man like Greg's big dram My God,
- 1:56:28Speaker 3: I want to just lie on the beach somewhere. Yeah,
- 1:56:32Speaker 3: all right, and man, appreciate you, appreciate you taking our.
- 1:56:34Speaker 2: Call, call any time.
- 1:56:36Speaker 3: I love you. Guys should be well, there's Darren Kavanoki.
- 1:56:40Speaker 3: Everybody awesome.
- 1:56:41Speaker 7: Yeah. Cuffs if you're ever yourself in hand Yeah, one
- 1:56:46Speaker 7: eight hundred, No cuts. To be fair, I've ever been
- 1:56:48Speaker 7: a handcuffs for anything, card narts or otherwise. Well no,
- 1:56:51Speaker 7: I've never been handcuffed for his commercials.
- 1:56:53Speaker 3: You have the right to shut the f up.
- 1:56:55Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:56:55Speaker 3: It doesn't make sure guilty, it makes you smart.
- 1:56:59Speaker 7: Yeah, we've we've heard the people talk themselves into charges
- 1:57:02Speaker 7: all the time they.
- 1:57:03Speaker 3: Do, just don't say anything. So, Greg, you've you've checked
- 1:57:12Speaker 3: out that Tom sho Bad Thoughts, Bad Thoughts Season two
- 1:57:17Speaker 3: now on NETFLI.
- 1:57:20Speaker 11: Watched.
- 1:57:20Speaker 3: I've not even watched the season one yet.
- 1:57:22Speaker 7: It's insane.
- 1:57:23Speaker 3: It's one of the eight billion things on my I
- 1:57:26Speaker 3: want to watch but have not watched it. It's not
- 1:57:28Speaker 3: a series.
- 1:57:30Speaker 7: Yet, ye yeah.
- 1:57:32Speaker 9: Inside and then lives in your brain.
- 1:57:34Speaker 8: And I've always been a Thoms fan. I love him,
- 1:57:38Speaker 8: love him, love him, And now I would I would
- 1:57:41Speaker 8: turn into like a blithering idiot in his presence. He
- 1:57:44Speaker 8: could very well be the funniest man ever born. It
- 1:57:48Speaker 8: is such a flawless show. It is so funny. I
- 1:57:52Speaker 8: would love to be in his brain. He is just
- 1:57:55Speaker 8: the sketches are so damn good. There was one I
- 1:57:58Speaker 8: won't give it away, but it was like a spoof
- 1:58:01Speaker 8: on those typical movies that like Sammy would like were
- 1:58:04Speaker 8: mom changes body with daughter, like Freaky Friday kind of situation.
- 1:58:10Speaker 3: So funny, but it is so inappropriate. It's so funny.
- 1:58:13Speaker 8: And then there's a couple of skit skits where he
- 1:58:16Speaker 8: does uh he's in like a woman dressed as a woman,
- 1:58:19Speaker 8: his character as that woman as a TSA agent.
- 1:58:22Speaker 3: I almost I've seen some clips. I was screaming, laughing.
- 1:58:26Speaker 3: It is the funniest damn show ever made.
- 1:58:29Speaker 9: Have you seen some clips from Robert Eiler from The Sopranos?
- 1:58:33Speaker 3: No, okay, you want to.
- 1:58:35Speaker 9: See that one?
- 1:58:36Speaker 3: Yeah, I definitely, I definitely want check it out. But
- 1:58:37Speaker 3: the premises so bad, thoughts are these just like in
- 1:58:40Speaker 3: other words, these are just random things that Tom has.
- 1:58:42Speaker 7: Random thought about, in the sense that they are like,
- 1:58:45Speaker 7: what's your high thought menus?
- 1:58:46Speaker 3: Incredibly inappropriate?
- 1:58:48Speaker 7: Really, Nat, I'm sure, I'm sure this lady I haven't
- 1:58:51Speaker 7: seen it is This TSA lady is really calm and nice, right, Greg?
- 1:58:54Speaker 3: Exactly, Yes, very put together. One of the other clips
- 1:58:57Speaker 3: I saw was that he was at sea. Be appreciate
- 1:58:59Speaker 3: this as a father of many children this way, he
- 1:59:02Speaker 3: was at like a fertility like a sperm bank, and
- 1:59:05Speaker 3: he was making his donation. He's sitting there like tugging
- 1:59:08Speaker 3: his hog and like his mom is like calling in
- 1:59:11Speaker 3: on FaceTime and uh, some some of the some of yeah,
- 1:59:18Speaker 3: some of his stuff goes flying and it makes it
- 1:59:21Speaker 3: so answers the call. It was like it can't be
- 1:59:26Speaker 3: giving anything away because it's literally from like the teaser
- 1:59:29Speaker 3: trailer that I haven't watched any of the episodes or
- 1:59:31Speaker 3: watched any of the spoiler stuff, but it was just
- 1:59:33Speaker 3: one of the things they used to promote the show.
- 1:59:35Speaker 8: And in this ill season this season, a few of
- 1:59:41Speaker 8: the episodes, they are kind of all strung together and
- 1:59:43Speaker 8: it's so well done, and it's just it's flawless.
- 1:59:48Speaker 7: Something we could get calls on, like, because everyone watches
- 1:59:51Speaker 7: on their phone now pornography, that has to be something
- 1:59:54Speaker 7: that's happened. Like I'm sure that came from a real place.
- 1:59:56Speaker 3: Like a FaceTime situation, Like imagine.
- 1:59:58Speaker 7: You were doing any kind of years. Imagine you're jerking
- 2:00:00Speaker 7: it and it's a text from mom pops up right,
- 2:00:02Speaker 7: Like happened to everyone?
- 2:00:03Speaker 3: You were sending a depict to the wrong person. Has
- 2:00:06Speaker 3: that happened to you?
- 2:00:06Speaker 7: Well, I don't watch it that way, huh Not on
- 2:00:09Speaker 7: my phone?
- 2:00:10Speaker 3: Yeah, we watched on school with VHS tapes. He's kept
- 2:00:14Speaker 3: a v to watch. Oh.
- 2:00:17Speaker 7: I actually have an old speaking of which, I have
- 2:00:19Speaker 7: an old story about that where because I was junior
- 2:00:21Speaker 7: senior year, I lived in the basement, like a little
- 2:00:23Speaker 7: apartment down there and I had a VCR TV combo. Yeah, nice,
- 2:00:28Speaker 7: and we had fake id's. So we went to the
- 2:00:30Speaker 7: world's largest adult bookstore in Nashville, Tennessee. Got old, good
- 2:00:33Speaker 7: old fashioned VHS porn and guess who came down every
- 2:00:36Speaker 7: morning to the basement to do his morning exercises. But
- 2:00:38Speaker 7: my dad and he'd like to watch you know, the
- 2:00:41Speaker 7: morning news or whatever. And yeah, thank god it was
- 2:00:45Speaker 7: my dad. My mom all got the blood going.
- 2:00:47Speaker 3: That's good, dude. So Tom Segura has lost so much weight,
- 2:00:53Speaker 3: looks like a completely different person. When we went to
- 2:00:56Speaker 3: we were.
- 2:00:56Speaker 7: Just with him, like a couple of weeks ago.
- 2:00:58Speaker 3: We were chatting with him, Like I'm standing there talking
- 2:01:02Speaker 3: to him, and all I can do is like just think, God,
- 2:01:05Speaker 3: this guy has lost He looks crazy in shape, getting
- 2:01:10Speaker 3: like not even like a bigger guy who's lost some weight.
- 2:01:11Speaker 3: You're like, oh, you're looking good, right, Like no, it's
- 2:01:14Speaker 3: like this is a skinny person.
- 2:01:16Speaker 7: Getting getting his breaking his knee and his arm during
- 2:01:19Speaker 7: coronavirus was a big call for him. Basketball he tries
- 2:01:24Speaker 7: to do and like, I said, what.
- 2:01:28Speaker 3: Exactly did you do? He was giving me this whole
- 2:01:29Speaker 3: thing about like the fasting stuff. He's big. Yeah, he's
- 2:01:35Speaker 3: big into that where he didn't meet for like nothing
- 2:01:37Speaker 3: four days. It was like water, water and some salt
- 2:01:42Speaker 3: and that was it.
- 2:01:43Speaker 7: There's a new fast that's very popular, the sardine Fast.
- 2:01:47Speaker 9: Those are really good for you.
- 2:01:48Speaker 3: It's not real fast whatever starting diet. It worked, but
- 2:01:50Speaker 3: he was like, dude, you've gotta you've got to try
- 2:01:52Speaker 3: to go. Don't start four days. He goes, start with
- 2:01:54Speaker 3: like a day and then two days. You know, see
- 2:01:58Speaker 3: how it goes. But meanwhile, you know we're hogging out
- 2:02:00Speaker 3: around here.
- 2:02:01Speaker 9: Thank god it ray eight.
- 2:02:04Speaker 3: Four Woodie text over to two two nine eight seventy

- 2:03:43Speaker 3: and they were talking about how do actors actresses, how
- 2:03:46Speaker 3: they get themselves to like basically cry on command. Good question.
- 2:03:49Speaker 3: It's a lot about hydration really, but you just drink
- 2:03:52Speaker 3: a ton of fluid, like in the days leading up
- 2:03:55Speaker 3: to your cry day. So like he was talking about
- 2:03:57Speaker 3: this actress he was working, like, Yeah, Wednesday's a cry
- 2:03:59Speaker 3: day and so just load up.
- 2:04:02Speaker 7: Yeah, you load up on stuff.
- 2:04:03Speaker 3: And then they said, you know, at that point, even
- 2:04:05Speaker 3: if you like there's something that gets triggered emotionally, if
- 2:04:08Speaker 3: you could just think of one small thing, it doesn't
- 2:04:10Speaker 3: even take that much because you're so hydrated.
- 2:04:13Speaker 15: Really, it's hilarious because I drink so much water and
- 2:04:16Speaker 15: I'm crying all the time.
