  Speaker 1: keep God first place second. Chronicles thirty two, twenty seven

  Speaker 1: three twenty nine says Hazekiah was very wealthy and highly honored.

  Speaker 1: He built special treasury buildings for his silver, gold, precious

  Speaker 1: stones and spices, and for his shields and other valuables,

  Speaker 1: for God had given him great wealth. You know, King

  Speaker 1: AHAs was an ungodly king of Judah, and he was
• 0:39
  Speaker 1: the father of Hezekiah. He closed the temple, saw the
• 0:44
  Speaker 1: sacred treasures, and set up idols for worship. Enemy armies
• 0:48
  Speaker 1: repeatedly defeated him, leaving the nation decimated. The people were poor,

  Speaker 1: and they were barely surviving under his leadership. When a

  Speaker 1: has died, his son Hezekiah took over. He was raised

  Speaker 1: in all that dysfunction, y'all, all that compromise, all that defeat.

  Speaker 1: But Hezekiah did just the opposite of what his father did.

  Speaker 1: He reopened the temple, He tore down the idols. He

  Speaker 1: brought the people back to worshiping God. Guess what. The

  Speaker 1: Lord answered his prayers and defeated enemy armies. The nation

  Speaker 1: flourished again with God's favor blessing, and God increased Hezekiah greatly.

  Speaker 1: Y'all heard me say in the scripture today how he

  Speaker 1: had to build building treasury buildings for all of his

  Speaker 1: civil gold and precious stoness spices. Right. Hezekiah is an

  Speaker 1: awesome illustration of how it doesn't matter how you were
• 1:46
  Speaker 1: raised or the poor example that was shown to you.

  Speaker 1: You can make a different decision. You can choose to
• 1:53
  Speaker 1: honor God with your life and your example. You can
• 1:56
  Speaker 1: choose to keep God first place. You can tear down
• 1:59
  Speaker 1: the idols speak, you can lead people to God, and

  Speaker 1: just like with Hezekiah, God's favor, God's blessings in God
• 2:06
  Speaker 1: honors will be on your life and all that you
• 2:10
  Speaker 1: set your hands to do will prosper and it will succeed.

  Speaker 1: When you keep God first place, there's a blessing on
• 2:18
  Speaker 1: your life that causes you to prosper. Instead of living

  Speaker 1: worried about how you're gonna make it. You keep honoring God,

  Speaker 1: you keep being a good steward over what He's given.

  Speaker 1: You take the limits off God and have an abundant mentality.

  Speaker 1: God has favor coming that will cause you to increase

  Speaker 1: to rise higher, to accomplish things beyond your own ability.

  Speaker 1: He takes pleasure in doing that in our lives. Father,

  Speaker 1: thank you for the blessing that you've always shown us

  Speaker 1: when we walk in humility and put you first in

  Speaker 1: all our ways. Show us God, if there's anything that's

  Speaker 1: holding us back from the abundant life that you've promised us. God,

  Speaker 1: we believe that your favor will be poured out in

  Speaker 1: our our lives, oh so much so that we won't

  Speaker 1: have room to receive in Jesus' name. Hey, now that's

  Speaker 1: your word for today. I want you to take that,

  Speaker 1: apply that to your everyday life and you continue to

  Speaker 1: be encouraged and inspired. It's your early morning praise party.
