  That's right, and we are just 24 hours away from the 4th of July,

  and the daddy, daddy, my birthday for daddy.

  That's right. It's my dad's birthday tomorrow, guys. Gotta wish him a happy, happy, happy birthday.

  But today we are gonna talk about when it rains, it pours.

  So in the last three and a half weeks, all of our vehicles, the Civic,

  the CRV, and now the 2019, oh Lord,
• 1:50
  truck all broke down. And here's the best part.

  As I go to pick up the truck, the Civic breaks down again.

  Yeah, man, it's crazy.
• 2:01
  Money just flying out the door, flying out the door.
• 2:05
  I'm repeating myself because I'm losing my mind, and yet we still have a vacation.

  Well, a couple day trip vacation days, nothing crazy, but man, it just doesn't stop.

  What do you do, right?
• 2:19
  What do you do when all your vehicles just keep breaking down we just all have
• 2:25
  those bad days right it happens that's why we save money that's why you have to just say oh.

  I don't know what to do so now that i got that out of the,

  feel a little bit better. Now we start thinking about all the other things that have been happening.

  You know, the woodchucks, as you know, they are trying to infiltrate the home.
• 2:47
  They have been nonstop. They don't stop.
• 2:51
  And they are making hole after hole after hole.

  Be ready for an update because I'm telling you, there's a huge update coming up.

  I'm going to wait for Dr. E to do that. And that's going to be on Monday.

  He's coming on. We're going to go over that stuff with you.

  I feel like I'm ranting. I'm not going to lie.

  I do feel like I'm ranting, but it's just been a really crazy month.

  And I kept saying to myself, you know what?

  You can sit here and you can really get upset. You can cry. You can wonder.

  You can blame somebody.

  But when I thought about it when it was all said and done I said you know what.

  I guess it was just my turn it was

  my turn to finally you know deal with with

  everything with the craziness and within the last couple of weeks I just really

  dug into my faith I really honed in on everything that's happened and I just
• 3:56
  I just sit back and I say okay you know maybe I was not meant to be in any of those vehicles.

  And, you know, we have so many things we've got to do.
• 4:06
  We've got so many trips we want to take. If any of those cars had broken down,
• 4:10
  it would be, we'd be worse off.
• 4:12
  So that's where I leave myself. That's where I leave all of you and say, you know what?

  We have to just find the good and all the bad, because let's be honest,
• 4:21
  it's not going to be the last time that the cars break down.
• 4:24
  Hopefully not for a while, but we all tend to break down, right?

  Our faith breaks down just like a vehicle.

  Our faith can be tested. Our faith can be misguided.
• 4:35
  Our faith can say, can be like, wow, what do we do? What can we do?

  How do we overcome everything?
• 4:42
  And I'm here to tell you that, believe it or not, the more we put our trust
• 4:47
  and faith in God, the more things can just happen.

  I don't like this episode, so are we doing it?

  All right, July 3rd, 2025, and it's raining.

  My wife's car needed new brakes.
• 5:03
  My 2010 Honda Civic had a transmission leak.
• 5:09
  My 2019 Dodge Ram needed brakes and a caliber.
• 5:17
  And finally, we had to dive into the savings and we have officially paid off
• 5:25
  all three vehicles as they've all been replaced and fixed.
• 5:30
  What's that? Why is there beeping? Oh, because when I went to go pick up the
• 5:35
  Dodge Ram, the Civic's muffler literally gave out.
• 5:42
  So now I've got the car back in the shop. And I don't know what to do.
• 5:52
  So that 2010 hana civic is just feeling like a horror show and now with a little bit of magic,
• 6:08
  with a little bit of luck,
• 6:13
  and a lot, and I do mean a lot of patience, we can honestly say that there is
• 6:23
  some good news to this story.
• 6:25
  Have faith, let it begin. My cars have broken down. My faith got stronger.

  But I got to tell you, I don't know how much more I can take.

  Now it's starting to rain.

  All right, everybody. It's a July 3rd edition. The rain is coming down.

  It's nuts. I don't know what to tell you other than, good God almighty,

  the vehicles just don't let up. The humidity went up.

  I'm trying to go away on a staycation.
• 7:06
  I haven't eaten anything. I'm cranky, but I'm having fun. I really am.

  Listen, it is what it is. And I can sit here and complain about it.
• 7:18
  I can sit here and laugh about it.

  I can sit here and cheer about it. I could sit here and thank you thank you
• 7:28
  stop it thank you I could clap about it thank you stop it stop it or I could

  just sit back and blow the whistle and say hey.

  So on a funny note, yes, the cars broke down. Everything has been crazy.

  It has been one thing after another. But here's the thing. Here's the message.
• 7:49
  We joke around a little bit in the beginning, right?
• 7:51
  And the message is this. I wasn't meant to be in any of those vehicles.
• 7:55
  I wasn't meant to be in those vehicles with my children.
• 7:59
  The purpose of these cars breaking down before I went on these day trips was
• 8:04
  to make sure that these vehicles were in good condition for us to drive.
• 8:09
  Our faith can break down like a vehicle, but it's just like a mechanic.
• 8:14
  We have to fix ourselves.
• 8:16
  And how do we fix ourselves? By praying. Like a mechanic grabs a screwdriver, grabs a part.
• 8:22
  Our part is to grab our Bible, is to grab somebody that we know.
• 8:27
  It's to kneel down, pray with our heavenly father and say, God,
• 8:31
  it'll be okay because I know you've got me.
• 8:34
  God, I'm not upset. God, I am not worried. God, I know that when it's all said
• 8:40
  and done, everything will just fall into place.
• 8:43
  So as you go out into your July 4th week, I want you to remember one thing.
• 8:48
  God has you in his control.
• 8:51
  God has you in his hands. When I say he's got you in his control,
• 8:55
  I want to be clear on that.
• 8:57
  He is guiding us in the right path. He's guiding us so that we can follow the
• 9:03
  path of righteousness. this.

  He's not controlling us so that we can do things that are poorly.
• 9:09
  He's not controlling us to make decisions that he believes is right.
• 9:13
  He is guiding us so that when we do make those mistakes, because we make them,
• 9:17
  when we find ourselves backed up at a corner, when we find ourselves where we
• 9:23
  just want to scream and cry or cough, just like I did.
• 9:28
  God sits back and says, angel, I've got you. Don't be upset.
• 9:33
  Everything will be just fine.
• 9:36
  So if you're feeling the same way I'm feeling, if you're feeling overwhelmed,
• 9:40
  if you're feeling like everybody's trying to get you,
• 9:43
  if you're feeling like the rain is pouring down on you and you can't get dry,
• 9:48
  if it feels like your bank accounts continue to just fluctuate in and out because
• 9:52
  you just can't keep money in your pocket, guess what?
• 9:56
  The love that God has for us, the love that God has for us is so much greater
• 10:04
  and better than any amount of money we can save.
• 10:08
  We can't take it with you, but you know what we can take? God's love.
• 10:12
  And you know what's waiting for us one day on the other side?

  God's love. And you know what God has for us today?
• 10:18
  God's love. You know what God has for us tomorrow? God's love.

  Do you know what God has for you? His love.
• 10:26
  And he loves you unconditionally so today as
• 10:29
  you go about your day and you travel and you get ready to go out
• 10:32
  and celebrate our independence day and
• 10:36
  celebrate my dad's birthday as you light the firecrackers please
• 10:39
  be safe and allow god's grace god's beauty god's holy spirit to come into our
• 10:45
  hours into our lives as be the thunder wow thunder just happened let nothing
• 10:51
  affect you and let everyone believe in you just like God believes in you the way I believe in you.

  So may God be with you, may he shine his light upon you, and grant each and
• 11:00
  every single one of you peace on earth.

  And never forget, happy 4th of July, happy Father's Day, dad,

  for you, because it's a Father's Day happy birthday celebration because you

  were in the hospital, and we're celebrating everything because we missed out, and I love you.
